00:10:30.780 a 30-year mortgage, and we're going to pay 2% like you did.

00:10:34.740 You don't want to get rid of your mortgage.

00:10:48.940 And so now our 30-year mortgages, our bonds, our 30-year treasury bonds are coming up for auction, coming up for sale again.

00:11:02.000 And all of the banks, China, Japan, everybody who ever bought any of our bonds, they're no longer in the market.

00:11:10.700 You then have to say, okay, right now we're paying you 3% on your money.

00:11:16.540 So you're guaranteed.

00:11:17.380 This is where, if you've ever heard anybody say, I don't even know what to do with my money.

00:11:25.080 The safest answer has always been U.S. treasuries because everybody believed the United States would be here for a long, long time and that we would be stable and we were the world's currency and we would do the right thing.

00:11:39.460 So now nobody wants to buy our bonds.

00:11:41.780 In fact, countries are selling our bonds.

00:11:44.420 somebody has to buy those bonds because that's debt and so what's happening the fed is quietly

00:11:52.140 buying all of our debt you will see if they're not already soon they will be the largest holder

00:11:58.220 of our debt that means we are beholden to the five biggest banks in the world

00:12:02.740 and they're going to own everything and then they'll be too big to fail so we'll just make

00:12:09.820 them bigger. So nobody's buying our debt. And so what do you have to do? You have to raise the

00:12:16.480 interest rates. You have to say, okay, I tell you what, we'll give you more profit. Instead of

00:12:23.000 giving you 3%, we'll give you 5%, any takers, any takers, 6%, any takers, any takers. We'll give you

00:12:30.640 8% on your money. So we'll return 8% of your money to you. I mean, you can't make that really

00:12:38.760 in the stock market. Any takers? Any takers? But we have your money for 30 years. Any takers?

00:12:44.980 Nobody's doing it. So the interest rate on our bonds, our yield, is going through the roof.

00:12:51.480 We have to pay more money. You can't do that because where's that money come from? That money

00:12:57.600 is going to go back into the national debt. So the more we have to pay to borrow that money,

00:13:04.080 the more debt we accrue which makes our problem we're in a we're in a death spiral and and all

00:15:15.400 If somebody in your house has been studying to be a neurosurgeon and he is just finishing, not med school, but internship, and he's about to go in where he's really making money now, then the bank will go, well, wait a minute, wait a minute, this money is coming online.

00:16:43.420 and we're going to fix the oil so we don't have these problems in the Middle East

00:16:47.880 and we're constantly fighting wars and it's costing us a fortune.

00:51:51.480 fire, your farm, your barn catches fire, by the time anybody arrived, there's not going to be

00:51:55.200 anything left. So a farm fire wasn't a claim. It was a total loss every single time. So they're

00:52:01.100 They're like, no, we're not going to insure farms.
