00:06:13.880 and frankly, New Zealand have gone insane. What's happening? I don't think I could describe it any

00:06:20.860 better. I think we've normalized it here. It was interesting. Probably a week ago, people were

00:06:27.900 sending around these photos of one of the COVID camps that we have in the Northern Territories.

00:06:34.820 And I had cousins in Israel send me, are you really, have you really got these COVID camps 0.63

00:06:39.920 with aerial shots of it? And I said, yeah, you realize nobody in Australia even blinks at that idea

00:06:46.980 anymore, because that's, you know, 2020. That's not even 2021. We are in lockdown. I'm in a city in

00:06:54.980 Melbourne. This is the most lockdown city in the world. We're just about to hit the, that, um, the

00:07:01.220 most lockdown, the most amount of days in lockdown. We're in the sixth lockdown right now. We're in the

00:07:05.700 sixth week of the sixth, seventh day snap lockdown. And a lockdown here is, uh, unlike what you guys

00:07:14.660 experience in most of the States. Here it is lockdown. You can't go more than five K's from

00:07:20.020 your house. There's a curfew. Can't go more than five K from your house? Five kilometers from your

00:07:26.260 house. You cannot leave without your papers. You've got to, you've got to be an authorized worker.

00:07:32.620 Because as media, if I leave to go to work, um, I have to carry those papers. And if I'm not

00:07:39.380 carrying them, I risk a $5,000 fine.

00:07:46.060 Okay. So, but your idea in Australia is to, I mean, you've only had a thousand deaths, so it's

00:07:53.980 remarkable. But your idea is that we're just going to stay in until we have zero, zero sickness,

00:08:04.860 Absolutely. They've been chasing zero from the beginning. And the fact is now zero is unsustainable.

00:08:11.580 You can't achieve it anymore. Um, they've had the Delta strain in New South Wales. They're getting 0.94

00:08:16.500 over, you know, 1500 cases, I think today, um, in Melbourne where we've in, in New South Wales,

00:08:24.100 they tried to have more of a conservative government. I'm using that term loosely here,

00:08:29.520 but, um, conservative for Australia. And they tried to lock down less. Um, now in, in Victoria,

00:08:38.200 in Melbourne where I am, they love to lock down one. It's like a race to lock down one case in States,

00:08:44.560 you know, with 6 million citizens, if you get one case of Corona, they lock down for five days. But,

00:08:50.540 yeah, you know, we had zero cases on one day, the next day we had eight cases, they locked down

00:08:55.080 for that snap lockdown. And here we are six weeks, uh, into it. And I think today we had about 500

00:09:01.500 cases. So it's, it's growing, um, that, that zero, nobody's talking about, at least in the States,

00:09:07.840 in the States that, that are, uh, currently in lockdown, they're not, they're not chasing those

00:09:12.760 zeroes anymore. But, um, in the other States where they don't have any cases, they've become 0.87

00:09:41.720 in other States because they've built these, um, barriers between them where you just cannot

00:09:48.400 get in, you know, what do you mean? They've built these barriers between them, physical barriers

00:09:53.660 in some places. Yes. Physical barriers, um, in others, uh, not so much. It's, it's quite interesting

00:10:01.260 actually looking at from a political perspective is that those that were very much anti the rhetoric

00:10:08.220 of, of, of Trump and the border wall seem to be the first to build these wallets, your

00:10:14.160 labor, your left-wing governments that just ran to, um, build in, in Queensland. So Queensland,

00:10:20.940 New South Wales, you actually have barriers that the labor government, um, has put up there.

00:10:26.860 And it's just a symbolic, I guess, uh, you know, showing that they're doing something. It's,

00:10:31.420 it's seriously politicized the entire thing at the expense of the Australian people.

00:10:36.340 So, um, we've, we've greatly misjudged, um, the Australians. We've always thought that

00:10:43.180 they were very much like Americans, but there is not a libertarian spirit, uh, that exists

00:10:48.920 in Australia. Am I correct on that?

00:10:52.700 I still have hope. I still have hope. Um, but yes, I would say it's quite sad to see what

00:10:58.420 happened. I guess, I guess it was more predictable than I would have thought. If you look back in

00:11:04.840 1996, it was the conservatives that gave up the guns in Australia. So I guess it's not such a

00:11:11.780 surprise that what are we now in 2021? Um, people are just rolling over and, and willing to give up

00:11:19.140 every single civil liberty to chase a, uh, zero chance of death from a virus.

00:11:26.780 So, so what is it? It's a bit sad. What is the, what are these camps?

00:11:34.540 So they have these ideas. Well, the ones that the people were sending me photos of was just a co it's, 0.81

00:11:40.360 it's a COVID quarantine camp, um, where they've just, it's, it's a big facility and they're building

00:11:47.280 them around the country now. So, you know, in Melbourne, they're building them. They've been using

00:11:52.280 hotel, uh, facilities, which they've just had problem after problem with, um, the cases coming

00:11:58.460 out. So now they're building, uh, you know, big COVID camps for people returning from, uh, overseas.

00:12:07.200 So right now our borders are shut. You can, it is very hard to get in and out of the country.

00:12:12.220 You need certain exemptions, unless you're rich and famous, it is hard to get in and out of Australia.

00:12:17.320 Um, so the idea is that once the population is, uh, a 70 to 80% vaccinated, double vaccinated,

00:12:27.600 or by that point, who knows what number of vaccination they're going to be talking about,

00:12:30.880 but whatever the fully vaccinated means at that point, then they can open the borders and, uh,

00:12:36.900 anybody traveling in from overseas would, uh, I imagine have to stay at these quarantine camps.

00:13:19.040 uh, to attend. Did that happen? Is that true? You're just taking children.

00:13:27.060 I don't know what the audio is, but, uh, these days I would not be surprised. Now they're talking

00:13:32.080 about the push for, uh, so now they're pushing for 12 and above in schools. I don't think at this

00:13:39.780 point it's not against parent that the will of the parents. I haven't seen anything like that,

00:13:44.960 but I wouldn't be surprised at this point. They're trying to mandate it everywhere, um,

00:13:50.440 and coerce everyone into having the vaccine, including children right now until 12. But,

00:13:56.540 uh, I've heard today, uh, so-called health experts saying that we should be pushing under 12 as well.

00:14:03.160 And I don't think any of them are, uh, any of the vaccines have been approved for under 12,

00:14:07.820 but it doesn't seem to stop these madmen who have been given, who are just high on power. That's the

00:14:13.840 problem. You've got health bureaucrats who are just enjoying the power trip. And it's gone on for,

00:14:20.280 we're coming up to two years soon and it's got to stop. I don't know how much more Australians 1.00

00:14:25.700 can put up with this, but it is scary. It is scary to think, to see it happen and unfold.

00:14:58.520 libertarian spirit and people stand up and, um, realize that they've been taken for a ride,

00:15:05.980 but it is scary. How many people have you heard what the planet, I mean, once you open this up,

00:15:12.640 uh, you're going to get travelers and you're going to get sick. I mean, you just can't do this. Um,

00:15:57.960 guys experienced that. There are people I know personally that have gone to jail for these crimes

00:16:04.800 called incitement for inciting people to stand up for their freedom. I saw a guy, I saw a guy on a

00:16:11.820 horse that looked like Braveheart where he was saying, cross the border. They can't all arrest us now.

00:21:07.620 you're going to get full success on this by any measure. However, my completely speculative,

00:21:14.160 just theory of my own is that people who live in islands are weird about this stuff. So like when

00:21:22.900 you're isolated on an island, you get super, super protective. For example, pretty big island.

00:21:30.280 I know, but I'm serious in this. Like they are separated completely. Hawaii is asking people not

00:21:38.660 to visit. They are literally making statements to people who have tickets on airlines to come

00:21:44.260 visit their island. Please don't come. New Zealand is doing very similar things. New Zealand is one

00:25:30.900 since August of 2008. Now, let me give you something that's a little wonky, but very, very important

00:25:40.120 because it goes to the credibility of the entire system. Last week, we reported that the Federal

00:25:47.380 Reserve Bank ceased publishing the GDP report called GDP Now. This is what the financial industry has used

00:25:56.820 forever and also academic community, and it is the primary and most accurate and robust GDP forecast

00:26:06.940 produced by either the U.S. government or the Federal Reserve Banking. So this is a really important

00:26:15.480 number. All of your cost of living increases for the government and also everything that is going on

00:26:22.500 for financial analysts to look at. This is the number that they look at for a forecast of what is

00:26:31.260 coming. All right. What's notable is that the New York Fed's GDP Now model and data, it is also the oldest

00:26:42.600 robust domestic product data set in the world for U.S. data. It does things like break out what parts of

00:26:51.620 our GDP are private versus which is public spending. Another really important thing. How much is the

00:27:01.660 private economy doing and how much is the the government doing? Now, it's, I guess, sort of old

00:27:09.780 thinking these days. The notion that real GDP is what is produced and consumed by the real economy,

00:27:17.900 you and me, of companies engaged in mutually beneficial commerce. So, you know, China has

00:27:27.720 China includes the government in their official government spending, and that government spending

00:27:34.160 makes up 55 percent of the GDP because that's the way communism works. They include all government

00:27:41.280 spending in their GDP numbers. But in a free market, GDP, government spending is double counting.

00:27:51.100 You don't do that in a in a market where it's a free market because wealth is generated by the citizens

00:27:59.500 and that economic activity is GDP. When the government taxes some of that wealth and then they spend it on

00:28:08.280 stuff, roads, roads, military, should that be counted as the gross domestic pot product? Some economists say

00:28:16.240 yes, some say no. But listen, if your wife, you and your wife make $100 and that's your net worth, then your son

00:28:27.440 needs $10 for a school project. Would you say that you have a net worth of $110? No.

00:28:36.760 No. If this you wouldn't. But that's the way the government is doing it. So the New York Fed ceased

00:28:47.460 publishing the GDP now report without any sort of fanfare or press release. Just a notice last Friday,

00:28:56.100 a week ago, this last Friday, that it was no longer available, including all of the historical data.

00:29:02.400 And the reason they gave was complexities created by COVID-19. I mean, it's just so hard. And then

00:29:09.340 all of the excess government programs. I mean, we can't guarantee anything to be accurate.

00:29:15.100 So COVID made it too hard. So the Fed just gave up. Well, as of this past Friday, notice this happened on the

00:29:25.600 Friday before Labor Day. And then this event, which I'm about to tell you about happened this Friday

00:29:33.460 before 9-11. We might have a better answer on why the Fed's GDP report from New York is gone.

00:29:43.340 The Atlanta Fed. Remember, there are 12 regional economic districts.

00:29:48.000 Wow. 12 districts. Almost like in the Hunger Games. Well, the Atlanta Fed updated its fourth quarter GDP

00:29:57.700 forecast. They did it. And they have revised downward by 41%. So the projected GDP number is now down

00:30:12.780 by 41%. Now, something like that would cause the economy and all the investors and everybody else

00:30:23.200 to go into a tailspin. So what did they do? Well, when you know something's going to go cause the economy

00:30:35.280 to go into a tailspin, you can either just say, well, that's the truth, or you can just hide it.
