00:00:00.000 We'll be right back.
00:00:30.000 the fusion of entertainment enlightenment and empowerment this is the glenn beck program
00:00:51.420 well we made it it is friday and man oh man what a friday and what a week it's been
00:01:02.220 big stories today in fact the latest out of new york yesterday the story that i still think it's
00:01:10.200 kind of these types of things are happening so much now it's kind of getting pushed underneath
00:01:15.400 the radar a little bit we're talking about the FBI arrest that was just made and why it's so
00:01:22.420 important some of the other biggest stories that need to be discussed as well where's the beef we
00:01:27.520 got big news especially if you're like me and you enjoy the beef Trump trying to make prices a little
00:01:35.100 bit lower we'll get into that and more guests joining us today as well on the program you
00:01:41.360 can't do. 888-727-BECK. Justin Barkley in for Beck, and we're back right after this to kick
00:01:48.800 things out. You've been hearing about the struggles with the country's housing market for a couple of
00:01:55.260 years now. Higher mortgage rates have led to stagnation, and home sellers and buyers are
00:02:00.040 sitting on the sideline. Well, the Fed has dropped the rates, but it really hasn't solved the issue
00:02:04.240 home buyers and sellers are facing. And if you need to sell or buy a home, I strongly urge you
00:02:09.760 to check out my company, realestateagentsitrust.com. Our agents are remarkable and equally important
00:02:16.720 is that they're just good and decent people. They're like-minded. They share your values,
00:02:21.080 my values, and they excel in helping people when the market is really tough. Our network of agents
00:02:26.260 has helped us have our best year ever in 2025. We have served more of you than any other year
00:02:32.280 since we started almost 15 years ago. In fact, Tanya and I used our agents in Florida and in
00:02:37.860 Texas. To sell our home in Texas, buy a home in Florida. Just go to realestateagentsitrust.com.
00:02:44.280 We'll show you how to sell or buy a home even in this tough market. The name says it all,
00:02:49.160 realestateagentsitrust.com.
00:02:55.900 888-727-BECK. That's 888-727-BECK. Justin at Justin Barclay, B-A-R-C-L-A-Y.com. Justin
00:03:06.660 at justinbarkley.com.
00:03:07.860 Love to hear from you.
00:03:08.920 And the stories of the day,
00:03:10.300 I think one of the biggest
00:03:11.140 we've got to start here.
00:03:11.920 The FBI says it disrupted
00:03:13.600 a potential ISIS-inspired
00:03:15.260 terror plot in New York.
00:03:17.520 The agency tells Fox
00:03:18.800 they've arrested
00:03:19.280 a 35-year-old Albany woman
00:03:20.920 accused of plotting
00:03:22.080 to bomb the state capitol
00:03:23.520 and kill lawmakers.
00:03:24.940 Here's the thing
00:03:25.860 that makes this so fascinating.
00:03:29.320 Again, this type of thing
00:03:31.080 I think is happening
00:03:33.460 more and more.
00:03:34.480 It's the culmination of all the insanity you see happening in politics right now.
00:03:40.100 The things we talked about all week, the broken brains, the mind viruses.
00:03:46.500 Yes, I do believe there's a spiritual component as well.
00:03:49.740 But what could drive, think about, what could drive a 35-year-old white woman from New York
00:04:00.740 to plan an attack.
00:04:04.540 A month, I think, she spent planning this attack,
00:04:06.920 a nail bomb at the New York State Capitol.
00:04:10.940 You see her in the pictures in the full garb, by the way,
00:04:16.340 covered from head to toe, I believe, at the Home Depot,
00:04:18.840 trying to procure her weapons and the ingredients for which.
00:04:28.180 Jessica Bowie is her name.
00:04:30.740 She conferred five years ago, took the name Aisha Saif.
00:04:36.860 By summer, she was already praising 9-11, pledging on audio to ISIS and the caliph
00:04:55.280 and telling strangers she wanted to, quote, poison infidels.
00:05:04.880 What could drive somebody to do this?
00:05:09.740 How does this happen?
00:05:11.900 And look, this is something we have to come to grips with,
00:05:16.800 particularly at a moment in time.
00:05:18.920 Look, Kami Mamdani is the mayor of New York City
00:05:22.980 on the 25th anniversary of
00:05:25.000 September 11th. Abdul
00:05:27.000 El-Sayed, Abdul Rahman
00:05:28.920 Mohammed El-Sayed is running for
00:05:31.080 Senate. New polls
00:05:32.900 in fact, new polls today showing the guy
00:05:35.020 got a
00:05:36.880 lead. It's
00:05:39.000 sort of a neck and neck race.
00:05:42.400 The communist
00:05:43.080 and extreme Islamic
00:05:44.860 all of these
00:05:45.780 radical ideologies
00:05:48.780 dangerous ideologies
00:05:50.700 are taking hold
00:05:52.960 what could cause that to happen
00:05:57.340 now thank god
00:06:01.240 they were able to stop this
00:06:02.800 they were able to thwart this
00:06:03.960 this latest attack
00:06:06.880 and think about it again
00:06:08.860 I mean
00:06:09.500 Donnie is the mayor of New York City
00:06:12.880 and Jessica Bowie who is
00:06:14.580 I mean
00:06:16.320 it's obvious to say
00:06:18.380 but completely out of her gore here
00:06:20.200 wants to blow up the Capitol in New York State.
00:06:27.940 It's not like it's some sort of conservative bastion of, you know,
00:06:33.600 it's an anti-Islamic.
00:06:35.640 What was pushing this?
00:06:41.120 Again, she wanted a victory for ISIS.
00:06:50.200 She wanted to murder as many as she could there as possible with the nail bomb.
00:06:57.100 And then she wanted to get out of the country.
00:06:59.720 And I think the plan was to go to Syria.
00:07:06.980 By the way, this is happening in places like Europe, too.
00:07:10.700 Ordinary white women.
00:07:11.840 And then, of course, people who have been indoctrinated, people who have been infected with the mind virus.
00:07:23.900 No doubt schooling has a little bit to play in whether this case or not, but it has a little bit to play in these cases.
00:07:32.720 They're already sort of preconditioned for it.
00:07:36.560 then you go online, you go on social media
00:07:39.580 and you get these
00:07:40.520 whatever you want to see
00:07:43.420 they'll show it to you online, you know that
00:07:45.380 and your algorithm
00:07:46.480 in fact it's geared up
00:07:49.580 to do just that, the algorithm
00:07:51.540 will show you more
00:07:53.660 and more and more every
00:07:55.380 single time you log on
00:07:57.640 of whatever you have engaged
00:07:59.600 with
00:08:00.020 before
00:08:03.280 I mean, it's a constant, steady flow of just filth and poison to our young kids, to a young generation.
00:08:24.520 You know, there is good and bad to it.
00:08:27.600 Some people don't understand.
00:08:29.040 Some people don't have a grasp on it.
00:08:30.440 I mean, just thinking about this, because there's a story about Abdul Rahman Muhammad al-Sayed who's out there talking about the algorithm and what he's seeing and what kids and whatnot are being fed in their feeds online.
00:08:47.280 And what I thought was kind of interesting about this, he mentions seeing things online.
00:09:01.800 Kids are seeing things online that they shouldn't see.
00:09:04.100 He sees in his feed all of the time, which is kind of interesting.
00:09:08.380 I don't know if he realizes the admission.
00:09:11.320 listen to listen to what he actually says he sees like you think about if you're on instagram
00:09:18.860 my team has has access to my instagram account and like the things that i actually look at on
00:09:24.060 instagram right of course we get served that on your for you page but then like every third
00:09:29.200 video that scrolls on its own is going to be some only fans model sees he's saying he's
00:09:35.580 I don't get that stuff on my account
00:09:39.360 I think he's saying
00:09:40.900 I don't think he realized
00:09:45.040 I don't think he realized what he did there
00:09:47.200 because, and again
00:09:49.580 social media, you get what you
00:09:51.960 but some of these people are too
00:09:53.500 children specifically
00:09:56.080 and some others
00:09:58.500 maybe too vulnerable
00:09:59.600 they don't understand
00:10:00.940 and actually, I have
00:10:02.640 particularly
00:10:04.920 on Instagram, and look, I use this stuff more than anything else.
00:10:10.480 I actually use social media platforms to communicate to other people.
00:10:15.480 I don't do a lot of looking and all that, but if you go on my Instagram right now, if
00:10:22.620 you go on this app, what you're going to see from me, nine times out of ten, it's faith-based
00:10:29.800 content.
00:10:30.640 I'm telling you, whatever you're looking for, it'll show you.
00:10:34.920 is political.
00:10:38.220 There's certainly political.
00:10:39.340 There's some of the hobbies and things I'm into.
00:10:43.380 Food.
00:10:44.240 There is nothing about any of the OnlyFans
00:10:47.180 or any of that stuff that he's talking about.
00:10:49.320 That's a whole other issue, too.
00:10:51.540 But this plays a part in pumping this stuff
00:10:55.260 into the minds of people who are...
00:10:59.880 The reason I bring it up
00:11:01.500 is because they'll never censor this stuff.
00:11:03.680 They'll never censor it on social media.
00:11:05.980 In fact, there was a time when they did censor dangerous extremists on social media
00:11:12.860 through the last five, six years.
00:11:15.820 In fact, that was part of that.
00:11:17.480 If you just read some article, if you just out, well, let me give you some good news
00:11:22.920 about, you know, about infections or cases about this,
00:11:27.860 or maybe there's a hint about, a clue about how to handle and deal with the, you know,
00:11:34.800 the treatment of the virus that we were up against at the time.
00:11:45.020 We were absolutely throttled for it, censored, had accounts taken down.
00:11:52.320 And you're telling me that these social media companies can't figure out how to stop this stuff from, well, maybe that's the point.
00:12:07.580 Maybe they don't want to.
00:12:09.540 Maybe that's the point.
00:12:10.780 but it is it is it is in absolutely of great import because here we are
00:12:22.540 the 25th anniversary of september 11th she's praising it by the way she's not the only one
00:12:30.540 candidates like the one i just mentioned palling around with other people who
00:12:35.540 Hassan Piker and some of these others
00:12:37.960 who have done the very same thing.
00:12:39.680 That is becoming a more mainstream idea.
00:12:46.620 And that type of idea, in fact,
00:12:48.420 it's not just taking root on the left.
00:12:54.360 There's some of it on the right, too.
00:12:57.620 It really is.
00:12:59.520 It is something that we must confront now
00:13:02.340 if we don't.
00:13:05.540 we must confront this now lest we end up like Europe.
00:13:11.960 And I don't know if there's any saving it.
00:13:16.820 Again, Jessica Bolle, 35 years old, white woman.
00:13:22.660 The pictures online are something.
00:13:28.020 Clearly she's got some issues, and I don't know.
00:13:31.420 You know, I'm not a psychologist.
00:13:32.700 I'm not going to try to sit here and diagnose what's going on in her life.
00:13:44.380 Patterns that you can see.
00:13:46.560 In fact, Amy Mech is the founder and editor-in-chief for Rare.
00:13:54.600 And it is a foundation.
00:13:55.880 In fact, it's recent days with, she calls it Arise, Ignite, Align, Ignite, and Reclaim.
00:14:05.620 She made a post, a lot of this she's bringing insight and awareness to take, I guess, the opposite of care.
00:14:13.000 It's kind of interesting.
00:14:14.740 But to some of these candidates and to this issue at Hull, and I've found some of the things she's posted online very interesting.
00:14:24.080 In fact, she talks about this in a post on X here.
00:14:28.560 She says, the pattern that she says has been tracked for years across Europe.
00:14:33.860 Ordinary white women convert, absorb the ideology, and end up trying to carry out Islam's wishes against their own countries.
00:14:44.000 The other pattern, she said, she's seen as Middle Eastern Islamic men grooming these women, romancing them.
00:14:52.120 That'll make sense if you see some of the pictures that have been posted online of what we hear.
00:14:58.180 Giving them the attention they crave and then using them to carry out their group's wishes.
00:15:07.980 She goes on to say, take notice how the FBI affidavit never names who introduced her to Islam.
00:15:15.020 Was she recruited and groomed or was she simply making the prophet proud
00:15:19.660 and acting in accordance with the commands of Islam.
00:15:24.740 It also never identifies any mosque she attended,
00:15:27.720 which might be interesting, might be important.
00:15:34.020 The truth is, she goes on to say,
00:15:35.960 Islam does not need a recruiter or a mosque,
00:15:38.040 as we have seen over and over.
00:15:39.760 It just takes someone opening the Quran, she says.
00:15:44.360 it is i i i again this is
00:15:52.280 there and there is there is criticism of the religion there is criticism of
00:15:59.620 mostly the extremism which i focus on
00:16:03.940 i i i don't you know i'm not going to say that all certain people in one group are bad i would
00:16:13.140 never say that because i know that's been used against us conservatives christians etc and that's
00:16:17.540 just not true we've seen that but at the same time you have to be allowed to make these criticisms
00:16:25.520 you have to be allowed to make these points and you have to be allowed to shine the light on the
00:16:31.280 things that are happening right in front of our face this whole idea of a phobia of course well
00:16:36.340 i i will be honest with you i am concerned i won't say i'm islamic phobic but i am concerned
00:16:42.020 Yet again, that we have another example where these ideologies have taken root in fertile soil in the minds of people who are obviously having their own issues.
00:16:59.320 Thank God, again, that they were able to stop this.
00:17:01.720 In fact, there's more on this, and I want to dig into this other piece that I think is dangerous.
00:17:10.380 It is happening.
00:17:13.160 Some of these white women are going crazy.
00:17:16.560 What happened to the liberal white women?
00:17:19.240 Story after story.
00:17:20.220 In fact, there's a story in the news right now that's later on in the program we're going to get into.
00:17:25.460 I haven't watched the trial much, but there's this trial of this woman that has become...
00:17:35.460 It has become absolutely, I think, one of the top talked-about stories,
00:17:44.520 and particularly for women right now in the country.
00:17:49.080 It's the Clancy trial.
00:17:53.300 And I will be completely honest with this.
00:17:55.700 Another one that needs nuance as well.
00:17:58.360 We'll get a legal perspective on it,
00:18:00.660 and then we'll take a dive into the cultural implications on this, too.
00:18:05.460 because it's another important one.
00:18:08.500 All of these things, funny enough,
00:18:10.800 they tie together in some way or another.
00:18:15.080 We'll take deep dives into all of it.
00:18:17.160 Coming up on the Glenn Beck Program today,
00:18:19.380 back after this quick 60 seconds.
00:18:24.640 We all have those house projects that we've been avoiding.
00:18:27.880 Cleaning out of gutters is usually the last on the list.
00:18:30.320 But when a heavy rain sends water spilling over
00:18:32.620 and soaks the ground around your foundation,
00:18:34.440 you're going to wish you tackled it sooner.
00:18:36.380 Don't wait for something like clogged gutters
00:18:38.040 to turn into bigger, more costly home repairs.
00:18:40.580 Listen, you don't want to get up on the ladder.
00:18:42.660 I don't want to get up on the ladder.

00:19:32.760 Praise be to Allah for September 11th.
00:19:41.860 When I can migrate, I will poison these infidels.
00:19:48.260 Blowing kafir's brains out is beautiful.
00:19:52.340 I want to destroy as much of the building as possible and kill the senators while they are meeting.
00:19:57.220 Destroy some of the tag hoot.
00:20:00.620 I don't know.
00:20:01.120 I'm probably not saying that right.
00:20:02.760 I want something that's going to do the job.
00:20:04.880 I don't want to take this kind of risk and then have it kill, what, two or three people.
00:20:10.380 What good is that?
00:20:14.300 And here's the most interesting.
00:20:16.060 By the way, all of these things are quotes from Aisha or Jessica Bowie there in her own words, according to the affidavits here.
00:20:25.800 She really wanted to get her hands on the president.
00:20:28.940 she really she said i ideally it would be the white house with the president but like that's
00:20:37.840 an even harder job so that's kind of where my mind is at it's like the biggest political building
00:20:44.580 that i know of around this this area folks uh this is it's a multi-faceted issue it's one that
00:20:53.460 we we need to focus on anyone telling you that we shouldn't particularly with the rise of the
00:20:57.960 commie jihadi movement inside the democrat party that continues to try and make this sort of thing
00:21:02.200 mainstream we need to focus on it we need to confront it we need to make sure that we are
00:21:09.640 vocal about it uh and we need to to make sure uh in truth and love that we confront it all
00:21:16.800 we can't let this kind of thing stand and um after all we wrestle not against flesh and blood this
00:21:24.980 This whole thing goes a lot deeper.
00:21:26.620 In fact, a lot of the topics that we're going to talk about today.
00:21:30.160 The next conversation, kind of a parental rights conversation in some ways,
00:21:36.720 in a way you've never heard before.
00:21:38.860 Abby Johnson joins us with a conversation after the bottom of the hour here.
00:21:44.020 I'd love to talk for you.
00:21:44.740 888-727-BECK.

00:23:18.960 this next story is a parental rights story but not really uh i bring that up because i think
00:23:30.880 it's kind of interesting um what happens when the parents don't want the child don't want the
00:23:40.100 child around um in fact what happens in a case which i find one of the most interesting that
00:23:48.040 we've seen in a long time, when the parents hire a surrogate, this just happened, and
00:23:55.820 decide when that child has a heart condition, a diagnosis inside the womb, that the child
00:24:08.820 should just be discarded.
00:24:12.120 there are parents suing now a surrogate who refused to
00:24:19.760 end the life of the baby
00:24:23.040 that they at one point wanted
00:24:26.040 the woman carrying the child decided in a last minute
00:24:33.740 effort to save the life of this
00:24:36.780 young baby boy and take off to Texas
00:24:41.880 that child has since been born has received life-saving medical care and from everything
00:24:49.960 i can tell uh from the latest on on this child is doing well right now now that the parents are
00:24:55.820 are suing her for doing all of that
00:24:57.920 and this is one of those stories that just twists your brain like a pretzel
00:25:04.240 abby johnson is here with us right now and abby i thought you'd be one of the best to talk about
00:25:10.700 this particular story
00:25:12.660 with. I have
00:25:14.760 never seen, and just the
00:25:16.580 disgusting level,
00:25:18.840 the ideology of, and this is
00:25:20.780 eugenics at play, this is
00:25:22.880 designer babies,
00:25:24.720 all of this idea when we talk about
00:25:26.640 picking and choosing things
00:25:28.820 like they're picking out
00:25:29.880 paint colors on the
00:25:32.780 house or
00:25:34.200 options on a car
00:25:36.820 or something like this,
00:25:38.120 and we're talking about a precious human life welcome into the one book program thank you
00:25:45.560 thank you for having me um yeah i mean it's it's this is just a continuation of the commodification
00:25:50.820 of children right so um yeah we won't want perfect babies it's it is i mean really the
00:25:58.600 definition of eugenics uh we want perfect babies we want blue-eyed babies brown-eyed babies babies
00:26:04.420 with blonde hair, only girl babies, only boy babies, and only babies that, you know, don't
00:26:12.280 have a cleft lip, only babies that don't have, you know, heart problems.
00:26:16.800 And if we find out they do, then we abort them.
00:26:20.360 It, you know, reminds me a few years ago, I don't know how long it was, five, six years
00:26:24.720 ago, when the president of Iceland said that they had eradicated Down syndrome.
00:26:34.420 in their country, but that's not true. They've just aborted, they've effectively aborted every
00:26:41.300 baby that is diagnosed with Down syndrome in the womb. And that's really what's happening in the
00:26:47.760 United States, right? These, you know, doctors, parents making the decision, well, when there is
00:26:55.420 a baby with a problem, a diagnosable problem in the womb, then we're going to encourage you to
00:27:01.780 build a child or, you know, parents are encouraged. This is not the baby that you want to have. This
00:27:07.300 is what's happening in IVF clinics, artificial reproductive technology industry. I mean,
00:27:13.100 this is what they encourage. You only implant babies that are perfect. And if they're not
00:27:17.380 perfect, then when you find out at the genetic scan, genetic testing, then you just abort them
00:27:23.060 in the womb. I mean, this is, this is happening all the time. Usually it's, it's something even,
00:27:28.560 less serious, like I said, like a cleft lip. This baby had a heart condition, a treatable
00:27:35.060 heart condition. But I mean, just think about the surrogate. She's been, I mean,
00:27:41.120 surrogacy has all kinds of problems, but the surrogate has been feeling the baby move around
00:27:47.140 in her body. I don't care what a surrogate says. Surrogate has been bonding with this baby
00:27:54.020 you know over all this time third trimester abortion then is demanded of her and you know
00:28:00.680 where the my body my choice people right no they're siding with the parent with the intended
00:28:05.380 parents and they they think the woman the my body my choice people are saying that the woman should
00:28:11.240 be forced to have the abortion it's crazy it's a staggering hypocrisy you bring that up that's a
00:28:19.240 Very, very good point.
00:28:20.740 I thought about that, and I first read this story.
00:28:23.920 One of my thoughts was, well, you know, surrogacy is a whole other tough topic by itself.
00:28:30.540 But then I thought to myself, you know, they had an agreement, and there was a contract.
00:28:35.720 And I thought, well, how can these people, using that logic, how can these people tell her what she should be going through?
00:28:45.260 using that very same logic of the pro-choice,
00:28:51.100 and I'm using air quotes here, but from that standpoint,
00:28:55.660 because as we know, I know you, with your extensive,
00:28:59.280 your time at Planned Parenthood,
00:29:02.840 the subject of that film that we now know all too well,
00:29:06.480 this is something that not only, obviously, it kills the child,
00:29:13.920 but it also has, a lot of times, very dangerous effects on the woman as well.
00:29:22.440 Well, yeah, and I mean, you know, the further along an abortion takes place in a pregnancy,
00:29:27.720 the riskier it is for the mother.
00:29:30.280 So, you know, these people are asking this woman to undergo a significantly risky procedure
00:29:38.940 in a third trimester abortion.
00:29:40.560 I mean, even I mean, yes, you're murdering a viable baby. But I mean, also the risk for the woman is is really high. And it's just I mean, it's astounding to me. It's it's crazy. There are there have been situations where a judge has said to a woman, you must buy force of the law.
00:30:03.900 You must have an abortion because there is a problem with the baby. I mean, how hypocritical is that, right? These pro-abortion people are saying the law needs to stay out of women's bodies, right? Unless it's a case of surrogacy.
00:30:24.160 then a judge can by force say to a woman you must have an abortion you must have a late
00:30:32.940 term abortion but in this case it's really crazy because this woman had to flee to the state of
00:30:40.520 texas to protect her child attorney general ken paxton said this is a safe place for you
00:30:47.780 we're not going to force you to kill this baby the baby is going to receive life-saving
00:30:52.680 you know, procedures that it needs. She has this woman, McKenna West, as the baby.
00:31:00.220 Baby gets the life-saving procedure it needs, gets the heart surgery. Baby's doing fine.
00:31:06.860 Then the intended parents of the baby sue her, sue the woman who saved the life of their child,
00:31:17.200 sue her, get a restraining order against the woman that protected their child. Now,
00:31:21.100 All the while, they've wanted her to kill the child.
00:31:24.300 And they even said that if she had the baby, they would not provide the life-saving surgery for the baby.
00:31:32.660 They would let him die.
00:31:34.740 The state of Texas says, no, we're going to intervene.
00:31:36.980 We're going to provide the surgery.
00:31:38.960 Now, once the surgery is done, they're suing her for custody of the child.
00:31:43.540 And they're saying, this is our baby.
00:31:45.460 We're going to how in the world should they receive custody of the child that they tried to murder and said, we're not going to provide surgery for the child.
00:31:55.260 And they're suing her for one hundred thousand dollars for protecting the life of their child.
00:32:01.560 abby johnson with us right now this story is it is peak insanity but it is a story that i think
00:32:09.420 illustrates just how bad all of this is this industry and and and how we've how far we've
00:32:16.180 come culturally where these things are just sort of accepted or they're just sort of yeah yeah this
00:32:22.740 is just uh part of it this is just part of the price that that we pay for us so how's the little
00:32:28.420 boy now um she's she's named or is calling the the woman who the surrogate is calling uh gabriel
00:32:35.740 what do we know about him and and how is he doing so far so he's doing great um he's at the hospital
00:32:43.600 he's doing great mckenna the surrogate who is who is the mother by all intents and purposes i mean
00:32:50.440 she carried him she fought for his life she gave birth to him she is not able to be with him
00:32:57.020 um the intended parents are with him uh he is doing great he's had his first surgery
00:33:06.760 he will need additional surgeries there is no guarantee right now that these intended parents
00:33:16.420 will provide the surgeries for him they weren't going to provide the original surgery
00:33:24.440 So this is kind of the scary scenario right now.
00:33:30.160 There's no guarantee that they will continue to provide the life-saving care that this child needs.
00:33:36.740 They wanted to murder him.
00:33:39.420 So McKenna right now, a surrogate, is fighting for custody in the state of Texas.
00:33:47.800 So that's kind of where the battle is right now.
00:33:51.620 But the child, the baby boy, is doing well and recovering in a hospital in the state of Texas.
00:34:01.580 Abby Johnson, Abby, I know this is a really nuanced and difficult case.
00:34:07.240 We'd love to continue conversations with you on it as we learn more in the future.
00:34:12.980 But what can folks who are hearing this now, you know, I know you've got a great organization and you've been doing work for a long time.
00:34:20.740 What can people do to help in whether it's in just practical ways or helping to open people's eyes on some of these big issues?
00:34:34.300 Yeah, I mean, this is a case that needs to be shared.
00:34:36.660 We need to be talking about this, talking about this on social media.
00:34:39.700 It's such a strange case, but this is not the first time this has happened.
00:34:42.880 And like I said, my ministry, Loveline, loveline.com, we are a case management organization.
00:34:51.720 We have actually had to move surrogates before that have been forced by judges to have abortions.
00:34:59.780 And we've had to move them into sanctuary states to protect them from being forced to have abortions.
00:35:08.060 So, you know, our organization is dealing with this.
00:35:11.640 We've dealt with this multiple times.
00:35:14.260 You know, this artificial reproductive technology industry is dangerous.
00:35:20.240 We need to be exposing these things that are taking place, but also we need to be supporting
00:35:25.440 moms that are in crisis, not just surrogates, but I mean, moms in general, we need to be
00:35:30.720 supporting a culture of life.
00:35:32.760 I always encourage people to support organizations that are supporting moms in crisis, that are
00:35:38.640 supporting moms in need.
00:35:40.400 So I would encourage people to go to loveline.com.
00:35:44.680 We're doing the job every single day, saving babies from abortion, helping moms in need,
00:35:50.140 helping families stay together, support them.
00:35:53.520 We would love your support.
00:35:56.460 Absolutely.
00:35:57.380 Abby Johnson, thank you so much for taking the time and walking through this and be praying
00:36:02.080 for that little baby.
00:36:03.520 And maybe there would be some change in those parents as well.
00:36:08.440 I don't know anything's possible
00:36:11.320 but gosh, this is just
00:36:13.480 a really tough story all around. Thank you
00:36:15.400 Abby. Thank you
00:36:16.820 You got it. God bless. More coming up

00:38:03.780 Keith at it again. He was in Alaska this time trying to vote as Senator Murkowski's brother.
00:38:12.840 Brian Murkowski?
00:38:16.520 No, I left the ID at home. Can I give you a name?
00:38:25.060 We'll trade.
00:38:26.260 Okay, sorry about that. The last name is M-U-R-K-O-W-S-K-I.
00:38:31.200 And what is your first name?
00:38:32.700 The name is Brian.

00:39:13.380 possible oh good you have a mugshot oh i think i left i think i left that at home by the way
00:39:18.900 Bukowski not happy about this.
00:39:21.520 O'Keefe's whole point here,
00:39:23.720 it's one of the holdouts that won't vote for the Save America Act,
00:39:28.060 and just shows, again, why.
00:39:31.680 It's in the statement that they believe they put out
00:39:35.060 said something about voter posing as a voter
00:39:41.400 It should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
00:39:50.860 Voter imitation?
00:39:52.200 Is that what it is?
00:39:52.960 Something along those lines.
00:39:54.220 I don't mean the full statement.
00:39:56.480 Not happy about this, but again, it points out.
00:40:00.420 I got blood.
00:40:02.480 You've got blood.
00:40:03.120 You want to leave your blood?
00:40:04.380 Can you check to see if I'm in the right place?
00:40:07.280 I'm seeing that for you.
00:40:08.180 Oh, hello.
00:40:08.660 But you don't have so many ideas.
00:40:11.700 Come on in.
00:40:12.700 You don't need ideas.
00:40:13.920 It just proves the insanity of it all.
00:40:16.700 And by the way, another example of why passing the Save America Act is so important.
00:40:24.560 Our elections have consequences.
00:40:27.660 And so do the shenanigans that go with them.
00:40:31.420 Back with more.
00:40:32.680 Justin Barkley in for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck Program.
00:40:38.660 We'll be right back.
00:41:08.660 Swipe the flame, pass it on, crank the game, Glen Beck is on, Glen Beck is on.
00:41:20.980 Na-na-na-na, oh-oh-oh, na-na-na-na.
00:41:29.720 The fusion of entertainment, enlightenment, and empowerment.
00:41:36.140 this is the glenn beck program glenn beck is on
00:41:42.860 now we um we have a little bit of uh movement here it looks like
00:41:52.220 in the mar-a-lago raid doj moving to question the biden f fbi officials who were involved in all of
00:42:00.600 that they wrapping that into a bit of the criminal conspiracy against rights case and there's there's
00:42:07.020 a little there's a little bit of uh find out of the fool around and find out equation that is is
00:42:15.700 coming when we talk about that coming up uh speaking of consequences trials that are uh that
00:42:23.160 are happening right now at front and center david gelman joins us to walk through a couple they want
00:42:28.280 Good. Well, he wants another trial, Carmelo.
00:42:31.600 A decision maybe by the judge today in that one.
00:42:34.520 We'll talk about that, plus the Lindsey Clancy trial.
00:42:37.200 It's captivated lots of the country.
00:42:39.520 Get answers to some of those present countries and questions around it.
00:42:42.900 Coming up after this on the Glenn Beck Program.
00:42:44.940 Back then.
00:42:48.440 I think about Providence often these days.
00:42:50.820 The idea that we're stewards of our families, our communities, our own safety.
00:42:55.400 The founders understood this.
00:42:56.820 It's woven into the fabric of who we are as Americans, and I want to share something with you.
00:43:01.220 It's called BURNA, B-Y-R-N-A, and it's changed how I think about personal protection.
00:43:06.180 Here's the thing. Most people assume self-defense is complicated.
00:43:09.080 You need training, licensing, you know, government approval, but BURNA is legal in all 50 states.
00:43:14.240 No permit, no background check, because your right to protect your family shouldn't require anyone's permission.
00:43:20.000 The range on this is 60 feet. That's not pepper spray distance.
00:43:22.860 That's real distance that gives you time to think, to move, to get your family safe.
00:43:27.600 It's simple enough that anyone can use it, anyone.
00:43:30.380 And it's built in Fort Wayne, Indiana, right here in America, in American hands, American craftsmanship.
00:43:35.760 And that matters to me, and I think it matters to you.
00:43:38.160 I'm not here to scare you.
00:43:39.220 I'm here to tell you being prepared isn't paranoia.
00:43:41.580 It's love.
00:43:42.400 It's what we do for the people that you'd do anything for.
00:43:44.980 So go to Burna, B-Y-R-N-A dot com slash Glenn.
00:43:52.860 A couple of big trials in the news, in fact, as we speak today.
00:44:01.680 Lindsey Clancy, one that I admittedly haven't paid a lot of attention to,
00:44:06.320 but they're getting to a pivotal moment in the trial right now.
00:44:09.280 Lindsey Clancy's defense plans to rest today following testimony from psychiatrist Dr. Philip Resnick,
00:44:14.520 who has studied why parents kill their children.
00:44:18.060 He was a key defense witness in the Andrea Yates case.
00:44:21.660 That was the Texas mother who was found not guilty by reason of insanity in 2006 for drowning her five kids.
00:44:29.120 Dr. Resnick has also researched detecting faked mental illness and how to do so.
00:44:34.980 He testified delusional mothers can know killing is legally wrong, but still believe it's the right thing to do.
00:44:41.600 This is a trial that has captivated, like I said, folks across the country and the culture in some of the ways.
00:44:49.640 There's a legal, there's like the legal aspect of it.
00:44:52.200 I don't want to talk about that.
00:44:53.120 But there's also this cultural impact that's happening as well.
00:44:57.660 And both really need to be examined today.
00:45:02.040 Plus, we've got that trial.
00:45:03.420 Carmelo Anthony wants a retrial.
00:45:05.520 We're going to get into that because I think the judge is hearing some of the pitch on that as well today.
00:45:11.940 He's a criminal defense attorney, former prosecutor, legal commentator.
00:45:15.120 And you've seen him all over places like Fox News.
00:45:17.640 David Gellman joins us right now.
00:45:19.040 Thank you, sir, for walking us through, I think, some very serious conversations.
00:45:24.840 The Clancy trial specifically.
00:45:26.120 I'm paying a lot of attention to it, but I've seen people talking about it.
00:45:30.440 Can you bring us up to speed?
00:45:32.000 Welcome on to the Glenn Beck program.
00:45:34.300 Hey, Justin.
00:45:34.920 Thanks for having me.
00:45:36.060 It's very, very crazy, which is, I think, probably an underwhelming word to describe the Clancy trial.
00:45:43.880 But it looks like it's all going to be coming to a head rather quickly.
00:45:47.440 you know we this is and i said this yesterday on fox it's a battle the experts it really is um
00:45:54.840 you you have the state presenting their experts and they're saying you know obviously what the
00:46:01.020 state wants an expert to say pretty much is that she knew that the killing was was wrong she she
00:46:07.960 did it anyway she planned for it uh you know she may have had postpartum depression psychosis
00:46:13.680 but she still was able to know what's right and what's wrong and a defense their expert is again
00:46:21.040 what they're saying what they're supposed to be saying that that she had no idea that she wasn't
00:46:25.420 in the right state of mind that she was so knocked up on all these medications that she just was
00:46:31.480 unable to appreciate the consequences of her actions so these are it's one of these things
00:46:38.400 where it's not a whodunit you know the defense concedes yeah she she's the one who's responsible
00:46:43.800 for the deaths of the three children but b is not criminally responsible because she was not uh
00:46:50.660 she did not appreciate the consequences so let's let's walk through some of the the facts on this
00:46:56.900 this uh here dave gelman is with us right now uh an attorney who's been following this and
00:47:02.380 commenting on it so she kills her was it three kids that she has three kids yeah yeah
00:47:08.220 three kids uh i want to say they're like six or seven and then like three or two and then the
00:47:14.960 other one was like eight months very sad very sad it's a horrific story but then she she tries to
00:47:22.460 kill herself at some point and she survives yeah she literally after she did it she jumped out of
00:47:30.200 a window in the in the house and she yeah she survived she's paralyzed but she survived um and
00:47:38.320 you know i don't know if when she jumped out of the window did she you know and the state is is
00:47:44.260 saying this that she she knew what she was doing she appreciated that she killed her picture like
00:47:49.420 uh-oh i uh i did something really bad so she was obviously trying to trying to kill herself and
00:47:54.640 she failed at that absolutely horrific and like i said there's a cultural piece of this and there's
00:48:00.940 there's some things that are happening around i think that are equally shocking um in some ways
00:48:05.880 but from a legal perspective here uh what's the defense just trying to get the doubt into the
00:48:15.420 minds of the jurors and from what you've seen and heard what's the likelihood of that yeah that
00:48:21.980 That's exactly it, Justin.
00:48:23.520 I mean, literally, you pretty much nailed it.
00:48:26.640 And let's just be clear.
00:48:28.840 If she's found not guilty, she's not walking away, right?
00:48:32.120 She's not going to be going to a bar to celebrate being found not guilty.
00:48:36.420 She's going to be going to a psychiatric facility for the rest of her life.
00:48:39.760 So let's get that all perfectly clear, which, you know, obviously that's a good thing.
00:48:45.420 But you're trying to get doubt in the jury.
00:48:48.720 And I got to tell you, at the beginning of the case, if you asked me how this is going to play out, I would probably say, look, she was going to fry.
00:48:57.400 I don't think there was when you have three dead children, you can present whatever evidence you want.
00:49:04.620 It's so difficult to persuade a jury that you're not criminally responsible and to get some reasonable doubt in there.
00:49:13.260 But the defense has done a really, really good job.
00:49:18.640 Number one, with their experts, I think they've done a good job doing so.
00:49:23.200 They had the chaplain yesterday who testified regarding that she, when she, when Lindsay was hospitalized, she saw her like over 200 times.
00:49:34.300 And she kept saying, I was sorry, she missed the kids.
00:49:37.200 that a voice in her head was saying,
00:49:39.920 you have to do this or else you're going to get hurt
00:49:43.460 and the kids are going to get hurt.
00:49:46.240 So they really have made the jury think,
00:49:51.860 I would say, is the best way to do it.
00:49:53.660 And look, reasonable doubt is a very, very high burden
00:49:57.820 that the jury has to have in their mind
00:50:01.660 in the event that they do find Lindsay Clancy guilty.
00:50:05.280 So it's like, I always tell everybody this, reasonable doubt is very simple.
00:50:10.280 Do you think that this person is responsible?
00:50:12.820 Are you 100% certain that they have met each and every element of the crime?
00:50:18.980 If you feel that there's something there that was presented that shows that, you know what?
00:50:26.060 Look, there's probably a good possibility, but, you know, they're making a really good point.
00:50:30.800 and I'm just not sure because this evidence was presented,
00:50:34.940 that is reasonable doubt.
00:50:37.100 And I think the defense has really done a very good job of doing that.
00:50:42.380 And also, the defense, they seem to be more likable than the prosecution.
00:50:48.980 And when I say that, I mean the attorneys themselves,
00:50:52.920 the defense attorney, he's up in the court, he's walking around,
00:50:57.500 he's, I don't want to say smiling per se,
00:50:59.600 but he's a little more
00:51:00.780 likable, a little more
00:51:03.420 jovial, if you think
00:51:05.540 about it. And the prosecution
00:51:07.540 is, you know, very
00:51:09.460 stoic. They're
00:51:11.620 kind of just sitting in their seats when they're asking the
00:51:13.480 questions or they're just standing
00:51:15.040 at the microphone.
00:51:17.520 They're really not going around. And juries
00:51:19.540 look at that type of stuff. I've done a ton
00:51:21.460 of jury trials. And
00:51:23.020 you'd be amazed at what you
00:51:25.560 learn after a trial
00:51:27.120 from a jury. I've learned some trials
00:51:29.600 Just because they like how I look, they like my socks.
00:51:32.520 Don't know why.
00:51:33.380 Can't answer that question why.
00:51:35.060 But every little thing counts when it comes to a jerk.
00:51:39.040 David Gellman with us right now, no doubt.
00:51:41.740 One of the things you're just talking about, likability.
00:51:43.460 But I've got to ask you, because I have seen interviews with this defense attorney,
00:51:49.640 and I would agree.
00:51:50.700 I mean, he does come off very likable.
00:51:53.440 He was posing for pictures with the people that are out front in support of her.
00:51:59.100 By the way, have you ever seen anything like this?
00:52:01.960 Listen to a couple of the questions and answers from some of the supporters that are outside the courthouse.
00:52:06.760 The system failed her.
00:52:09.020 She was begging for help, but no one was there.
00:52:11.680 I don't know if us being here will make her feel any better, but she's living in hell right now.
00:52:16.360 See, these supporters lining up by the Dresden in these pink outfits, etc.,
00:52:22.300 and one of the points that you just heard was, I just feel like the system failed her.
00:52:26.940 So I guess I'm going to ask you this.
00:52:28.120 Have you ever seen anything like this before, number one? Number two, that whole idea, I know that's like public opinion, but you think about that in the minds of the jurors, how much might that play into putting some of the doubt into the equation for them as well?
00:52:46.660 I mean, I think this is a very – this is one of these stories where I think reasonable people could say, you know, she was on this medication.
00:53:00.620 Maybe she was overly medicated.
00:53:03.180 But at the same time, people might say, look, she killed her three kids.
00:53:06.540 I mean, I don't know, Dave.
00:53:08.940 It's hard to make how this whole thing is going to come out.
00:53:13.480 I agree.
00:53:14.480 I agree.
00:53:15.680 It's very difficult.
00:53:16.780 Have I ever seen this?
00:53:18.400 Personally, no.
00:53:19.480 I've never had a trial anywhere near like this.
00:53:21.960 I think the closest thing you can really talk about is Luke Mangione.
00:53:25.540 And this only happened last week, remember,
00:53:27.680 where you have all these supporters coming out and saying,
00:53:32.280 like, oh, well, you know, the health care system failed him,
00:53:35.200 and, you know, we have to do that.
00:53:38.020 So I think that that may be something kind of similar,
00:53:42.160 even though the circumstances are somewhat different.
00:53:46.000 But, you know, as for the cultural aspect itself, I agree again.
00:53:51.580 A reasonable person could potentially say, look, you know, she was popped up on all this medication.
00:53:58.480 She was trying to get help.
00:54:00.440 She asked for help multiple times and the system failed her.
00:54:04.700 And that is exactly what the defense wants the jury to find at the end of the day.
00:54:10.780 But, you know, it's you can put all that there and it's a very, very good argument for the defense.
00:54:19.360 But, you know, at the end of the day, you have three dead children.
00:54:24.860 And that is such and like that just alone is so powerful for the prosecution that I, you know, I really wouldn't be surprised one way or another if they win.
00:54:37.060 I think it's a 50 50.
00:54:38.480 It's a toss up at this point.
00:54:40.300 David Gellman, one other trial that they're looking right now,
00:54:44.340 the Carmelo Anthony, they're trying to, I guess, a retrial.
00:54:47.740 Is this in Texas?
00:54:49.340 The murder of Austin Metcalf.
00:54:51.320 I know they're talking with the judge today making that pitch.
00:54:55.460 Why do they think they need a retrial?
00:54:57.760 What are they saying, and what's the likelihood of that happening?
00:55:01.440 Well, number one, Carmelo Anthony got a small victory the other day
00:55:06.760 when the judge, the original judge, had to recuse himself
00:55:10.640 and have a new judge listen to this.
00:55:12.320 And the reason he recused himself is,
00:55:15.220 well, he was not recused, I should say.
00:55:17.660 He was not told.
00:55:19.880 He can't hear the new pitch.
00:55:21.880 It's because he did some television interviews
00:55:24.060 and said the jury got it right.
00:55:25.860 So, you know, it doesn't look like he'd be in parcel
00:55:29.400 when he's deciding something like this.
00:55:31.660 But Carmelo Anthony's attorneys are saying that he didn't get a fair trial because he didn't testify and that there was evidence that was recluded from there, which is ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous.
00:55:49.680 He had the opportunity to testify.
00:55:52.560 He was given so much time to do that.
00:55:55.620 The judge asked him before he made that decision that, do you want to testify?
00:56:00.760 You know, you have the right not to testify, but you have the right.
00:56:04.020 But if you want to testify, you can.
00:56:05.780 And if you don't, it won't be held against you.
00:56:08.160 The jury can't infer anything from your actions.
00:56:10.700 And he said he understood everything like that.
00:56:14.340 But now he's saying, well, he got bad advice from his attorneys and that, you know, what
00:56:19.400 would happen is if he testified, then the prosecution could then cross examine him on
00:56:27.180 evidence that there were the defense and the prosecution said they had a gentleman's agreement
00:56:33.080 about not bringing in evidence which frankly that's kind of asinine in itself because i've
00:56:38.420 never really heard of any agreement between a prosecution and the defense saying oh well i
00:56:43.660 won't bring something in if you don't bring something and that's yeah that doesn't happen
00:56:47.440 often so i'll be honest with you i don't think that the their pitch is going to be successful
00:56:53.080 today um and nor should it you know this was pretty pretty clear uh you have multiple witnesses
00:56:59.880 that saw the the murder uh tomorrow anthony was in this tent uh he was there willfully he was
00:57:07.040 asked to leave multiple times he's the one that started the confrontation he had a knife he brought
00:57:12.460 the knife into the tent when nobody else should have a knife at a track meet so i'll be honest
00:57:18.080 This is something where, you know, it's media attention,
00:57:21.600 and I don't know if it's because of race or because they were young,
00:57:27.200 but I don't see this going anywhere.
00:57:30.980 Yeah.
00:57:31.260 David Gelman, thank you for taking the time, attorney.
00:57:35.240 With some of the stories that you're going to be hearing
00:57:38.340 and watching through the news, David Gelman, ESQ over on X.
00:57:42.600 Thank you, sir, for being here with us and bringing the perspective on it.
00:57:47.180 Thanks for having me, Justin.
00:57:48.400 Appreciate it.
00:57:49.420 You got it.
00:57:50.000 God bless.
00:57:50.480 Coming up, in fact, he's the President Carmelo Anthony trial.
00:57:54.760 James Tallarico out in Texas on the Breakfast Club sounding off about this.
00:58:00.440 This is going to be an interesting piece of audio that I'm sure they'll be used throughout the campaign on him and more.
00:58:09.360 By the way, we'll get into that and anything else on a Friday night.
00:58:13.100 Sure, probably going to have a surprise or two.

00:59:20.540 Make sure you mention you heard about Cozy Earth right here.
00:59:22.620 this uh this this one is the uh well this is the only breakfast club
00:59:43.460 morning radio show out of new york city um james talrico asked specifically and of course
00:59:51.340 he's the one who's it's like beta light right he's like a beta 2.0 he's the one running for
00:59:58.180 senate uh and he'll be running against kim paxton the the attorney general there asked about this
01:00:04.300 case specifically carmelo anthony of texas we see what happened with carmelo anthony and you said
01:00:09.540 it was a tragedy yeah what did you mean by that well i've done a lot of work in the state house
01:00:13.960 on justice reform and right now we've got a system that doesn't serve all americans equally and and
01:00:20.400 we know that black texans have been um have not gotten the justice they deserve um in many cases
01:00:27.800 and you know i'm not an expert on this particular case but i know that there were no black members
01:00:32.060 of the jury and to me that's that's the only evidence you need to to to really prove that
01:00:39.500 this system is not working for black texans yeah by the way uh there were multiple uh members on
01:00:47.000 the jury maybe not black but uh multiple members they would consider non-white etc so the jury was
01:00:52.900 was diverse the case pretty cut and dry uh the question here is the effort in this case in this
01:01:03.500 trial again as they're trying to get a retrial right now they're walking through that as we
01:01:07.940 speak today trying to inject race in order to to get this guy for now don't forget they they raised
01:01:14.760 all that money and the parents
01:01:17.460 went and bought a house
01:01:19.260 and a car and all this other
01:01:21.220 don't forget that's
01:01:23.260 context on all of this right so
01:01:25.200 how this industry
01:01:27.180 of
01:01:27.660 insanity and
01:01:30.960 it really is
01:01:32.520 is playing
01:01:34.960 a role and at the same time politicians
01:01:37.440 like Tau Rico
01:01:39.240 in this case
01:01:40.160 trying to do his best to wade
01:01:43.180 through that and use it as some sort of
01:01:45.200 political
01:01:45.700 to gain some points there. Look
01:01:49.020 both of these cases
01:01:50.640 and in the Clancy case I mean
01:01:53.340 something that
01:01:55.220 is unimaginable something that you cannot
01:01:57.020 even picture. While
01:01:59.160 there are major issues with
01:02:01.060 hormones and medication
01:02:03.180 and all those things that are going to get weighed
01:02:05.120 out
01:02:05.480 seems to me in a day and age
01:02:08.920 we've spent a lot more time focusing
01:02:12.940 compassion and empathy on
01:02:15.040 the actual people
01:02:18.340 the criminals rather than the
01:02:21.000 the folks who are the
01:02:22.960 victims in these cases
01:02:24.140 and that to me is a symptom of something
01:02:26.860 much deeper and sick in our
01:02:28.940 society. We continue
01:02:31.100 our deep dive. We'll get into more and of
01:02:33.000 course I got good news. I got to get to you as

01:04:08.260 all right we've got to do it um we we have to tackle the debt uh on this program but also
01:04:19.880 so as a nation i i wanted to see yesterday it kind of made uh headlines and i would say there
01:04:27.140 wasn't a lot of fanfare in fact i kind of think it was the opposite i had this story i didn't get a
01:04:33.520 chance to get to it i know it's important and particularly listen listeners of this program
01:04:38.380 um but i i i gotta tell you um i don't know what i'm gonna say it's gonna be popular
01:04:45.300 justin barkley in for glenn today on the glenbeck program 888-727-BECK that's 888-727-BECK
01:04:53.900 justin at justinbarclay.com is the is the email you can you can yell at me there if you like
01:05:01.580 All right, so this is the next staggering.
01:05:07.640 And finally, number is this big.
01:05:09.780 There's something that happens when numbers get so big.
01:05:14.280 When numbers get so big, they're incomprehensible.
01:05:20.780 They're so big that they're too big to really wrap your mind around it.
01:05:26.100 You can't understand, if you tried to illustrate what was really going on, you can't understand the magnitude of what you're dealing with.
01:05:39.260 And so I think a story like this, number one, it's not fun to cover.
01:05:42.900 It's not like something that people really want to talk about.
01:05:45.840 It's much easier to talk about this.
01:05:47.500 I'll tell you about this.
01:05:48.500 But it's much easier to talk about, and the media would much more likely cover, the cost of your groceries or the cost of gas at the tank, how much you're paying per gallon right now.
01:06:04.760 And those are the immediate impacts that you feel, particularly with this debt as well.
01:06:11.880 But the long-term bondage, that's the best way to put it, with the debt particularly, is the major issue with a government, by the way, that is out of control in spending and has no, at least it doesn't seem like to me, any intention to stop anytime soon.
01:06:41.160 Now, Trump administration making the point fact that J.D. Vance, the vice president, I believe he said Newsmax yesterday talking about the debt and the plan that they're working through to tackle it.
01:06:56.340 Even though the debt is too high, even though we inherited this debt bomb for the Biden administration, we actually do have a plan to get the economy growing faster than the debt.
01:07:05.200 And that's the most important thing. The issue that we've had under the Biden administration and what we're still kind of dealing with is that the debt was growing faster than American GDP.
01:07:16.340 That's the problem. That's something that we're certainly fixing every single day in the Trump administration.
01:07:21.840 But but, you know, even though the media doesn't cover this, I'm glad you're asking this question because Scott Vincent is very much on top of it.
01:07:28.460 He knows it's a problem and he's got the president's empowerment to do something about it.
01:07:32.220 Okay, so the question is, they agree, that's too high, so then what do you do about it?
01:07:39.200 That's the question, because they do have a plan.
01:07:43.040 I'll tell you, there are some things that are different about their plan versus any other plan you might hear.
01:07:47.840 Number one, you're not going to hear Democrats.
01:07:50.800 And this is probably one of the most important points to make right now.
01:07:55.780 Now, if Democrats, especially socialists, are going to be talking about this issue of debt at all,
01:08:06.260 that there is no, they have no ground to stand on.
01:08:10.900 There's no moral high ground either, because here's the issue.
01:08:14.980 They, all of their answers, all of their answers end in more spending.
01:08:22.740 Spending, spending, spending.
01:08:23.960 Now, every administration, I don't think we've ever seen Washington ever say, yeah, we've got to tighten the belt.
01:08:34.040 We've got to think about it, how we run our homes.
01:08:38.300 You know, you never think, well, honey, there's not enough money left at the end of the month.
01:08:41.840 Well, we'll just go out and get another credit card.
01:08:45.520 At some point, you can't get any more.
01:08:47.960 At some point, you're done.
01:08:49.120 At some point, you just can't handle what you've already gone out and done.
01:08:52.440 And, of course, this is a symptom of what we're dealing with in America.
01:08:57.760 We're functionally bankrupt.
01:08:58.640 We're essentially in a situation where we can't imagine ever being able to really deal with it all.
01:09:08.840 I will tell you what their plan is.
01:09:10.640 And I think one might consider this as they feel that the pressure of all of this, that maybe there is a way out.
01:09:24.640 Now, I know many people are going to be critical of this anyway, okay?
01:09:30.020 Growing your way out of it.
01:09:31.980 the best way i could put it is essentially if you think about the way things work in your home
01:09:40.900 you go out and get a side gig go out and get another job maybe it pays more money maybe you
01:09:48.100 get a raise and you're able to take that money then and then apply it to other places maybe the
01:09:55.560 debt isn't as bad say you you have you know certain amount of debt that's just it's crippling
01:10:01.820 you every month and you take that money and you put it towards that debt and then of course
01:10:05.880 you don't have as much pinch you got more wiggle room that's part of the perspective here's growth
01:10:13.260 growing your way out of it now i i'm gonna say this because i totally understand uh because the
01:10:19.000 people i did hear from in the last day or so on this issue of debt are the same people that have
01:10:25.520 been very concerned and ringing the alarm on this for years. And to you, I say, I hear
01:10:34.060 you. I am one of you. I'm one of you. But the people, most of the people aren't like
01:10:40.060 us. Most people are not paying attention to any of this. They don't know what any of it
01:10:44.620 means. And it's because most of these kids, as we've been talking about throughout this
01:10:50.720 last week, but then they're dumbed down.
01:10:52.820 They have no idea.
01:10:55.220 They don't even know what a checkbook is,
01:10:56.760 let alone how to balance. They have no clue.
01:11:00.440 This generation just doesn't know.
01:11:03.720 So, as I say,
01:11:05.120 there's a reason why you're getting, again,
01:11:06.640 you're not going to hear a lot about it, but there
01:11:08.640 are some things that need to be corrected, too.
01:11:11.440 There's a meme right now
01:11:12.900 that's showing the Trump administration,
01:11:14.640 Trump in both terms, and how much
01:11:16.700 debt he's added.
01:11:19.180 And it's
01:11:20.020 completely misleading but it's it's it's designed to uh it's designed to attack the trump admission
01:11:30.200 particularly him steins it to attack trump and it's designed to to make people uh and particularly
01:11:37.500 people that would vote for the of the thinking because part of the plan of this at least what
01:11:43.380 i've heard articulated from this administration part of it is cutting but you gotta remember what
01:11:48.840 Democrats did, what they said, the fit they threw when Doge tried to make certain cuts.
01:11:56.000 And, of course, we've seen some success with some of it, but I don't know which judge may
01:12:03.400 step in at the next moment to put a kibosh on all that as well.
01:12:09.840 There's one other piece that you've got to consider.
01:12:11.540 how much of this debt
01:12:16.100 the 40 trillion dollars
01:12:18.340 how much of it is
01:12:20.020 fraud
01:12:21.800 how much of it is fraudulent
01:12:24.320 how much debt do we have as a country
01:12:28.800 because of the fraud that's been
01:12:30.620 perpetrated and allowed by the well
01:12:32.360 to continue
01:12:33.540 over and over and over
01:12:38.820 again these Nick Shirley
01:12:40.520 videos where he's going knocking on doors
01:12:42.460 and finding out how much money in places like
01:12:44.560 Minnesota and People's Republic
01:12:46.720 of California.
01:12:48.720 How much of the $40 trillion
01:12:50.540 is because
01:12:52.560 of the fraud?
01:12:54.660 That's a whole other piece of
01:12:56.600 this.
01:12:58.440 That is
01:12:59.220 that's got to be
01:13:02.000 added into the equation.
01:13:06.140 So
01:13:06.700 the idea of growing your way out of it
01:13:08.700 Whether you like that or not, that's the administration plan.
01:13:11.100 The other piece of this, and this is something I would say,
01:13:12.980 do not discount what it is that they say they might want to do
01:13:18.660 or the plan that they may have because here you go.
01:13:21.440 Here's another great example.
01:13:23.540 In fact, Vance, the VP, confirming this yesterday in the same interview,
01:13:28.560 talking about the oil that's coming out of the Stratto-Hormuz,
01:13:33.600 and this is something we covered the other day as well,
01:13:35.840 But that secret that no one knew about, 10 to 15 million barrels of oil being taken out of the Strait of Hormuz.
01:13:44.160 By the way, this whole, all of this does, it's connected to the debt situation as well.
01:13:49.040 Energy and the dominance of the United States on it.
01:13:51.440 We've made a ton of progress on this.
01:13:53.200 Of course, a lot of people aren't covering this.
01:13:55.720 But even as the Iranians are trying to shut down the Strait of Hormuz, we're getting out some days 15 million barrels, some days 7 million barrels.
01:14:03.460 We are actually preventing an energy crisis that the Iranians are trying to create.
01:14:08.660 That obviously is good for our people.
01:14:11.160 Oil prices are much lower than they were at the height of Operation Epic Fury.
01:14:16.000 And we're going to do everything that we can, obviously, to give more relief to American consumers.
01:14:21.060 But at the same time, it also shows that the Iranians don't have this ability to choke off international trade, which reduces their leverage.
01:14:29.040 So the point here is we've got a lot of tools in the toolkit.
01:14:33.460 sometimes you've got to use the economic tools that's what the president is focused on right now
01:14:37.780 sometimes you've got to use the military by the way i i will i'll make this point as well uh along
01:14:43.540 the same lines here the things that are taking and by the way turning the titanic doesn't happen
01:14:49.220 overnight and and rearranging the deck chairs doesn't work either so we're not going to do
01:14:53.700 that but turning what we're what we're doing here takes a it takes a long time in a microwave world
01:15:03.580 that we're in some of the things that they're doing you can't see and you won't see instant
01:15:08.060 results on you're not going to see the on demand with the the attention span of the goldfish that
01:15:14.620 most of us house these days they just you're not going to see it right away but there are things
01:15:18.740 happening. In fact, there are more things happening right now to attack the affordability issue to
01:15:24.680 make things more affordable. You know what it has to do more than anything else? Getting government
01:15:28.020 out of the way. Getting government out of the way. In fact, I got some good examples of that.
01:15:34.300 We're going to take a quick break. We're going to get to them next. 888-727-BECK. That's 888-727-BECK.
01:15:40.720 Justin at JustinBarclay.com. Back with more on the Glenn Beck program next.

01:17:01.020 That's half off at simplisafe.com slash beck.
01:17:03.900 There is no safe like SimpliSafe.
01:17:09.760 All right, this is a couple of pieces that are floating around today
01:17:26.780 that I think are important, that these are Trump administration efforts
01:17:31.620 to make things a little cheaper, a little more affordable for folks,
01:17:36.020 And I guess you're probably not going to hear these on the nightly news.
01:17:41.000 And by the way, you know what they are?
01:17:42.640 A lot of it's just the government getting out of the way, just getting out of the way.
01:17:48.220 Imagine that.
01:17:49.300 That's if you wanted an answer to make things run more smoothly, to make things cost less in any area,
01:18:03.380 In any situation in life, it's just to get the government out of the way.
01:18:09.720 So the Trump EPA today did just that in an effort to ease gas prices.
01:18:18.060 Lee Zeldin, the administrator there, working with the Energy Department, issuing an emergency waiver that lets these gas stations sell winter blend gasoline starting September 1st, about two weeks earlier than usual.
01:18:33.040 I probably could have done this and should have done this a little bit earlier anyway.
01:18:38.820 Not just here at the federal level, but at the state level they do it.
01:18:43.680 In fact, where I'm at in Michigan, the governor said they could do this in a couple of counties in the state, but not the whole state.
01:18:51.800 And I wondered, why not?
01:18:55.320 They did things just like that to the south of us in Indiana.
01:18:58.580 And you know that the gas is about a dollar cheaper per gallon in Indiana than what it is what we're paying here in Michigan.
01:19:08.700 Why?
01:19:09.120 The government got out of the way.
01:19:10.200 What do they do?
01:19:11.420 Well, they suspended some taxes and they got rid of some, just some things that were temporary, by the way.
01:19:18.000 This is temporary.
01:19:18.920 Why?
01:19:19.860 Because, you know, people are struggling.
01:19:21.080 Now, Blue State, chances are you're not going to see that because they don't want you.
01:19:26.880 They don't really care about how things are going
01:19:32.060 They don't want you to feel any relief
01:19:34.940 In fact, pain is the game
01:19:38.720 They want you to feel as much pain
01:19:40.680 Perceived or real as possible
01:19:43.360 Under the Trump administration
01:19:45.240 They want to impact the midterms
01:19:47.040 That's why a red state like Indiana
01:19:49.840 Will make the decisions that a blue state will not make
01:19:55.100 And that's why those people in those red states will, in fact, they will thrive.
01:20:05.240 Not just people, but businesses as well.
01:20:07.600 I got another, in fact, I got another couple examples of this.
01:20:11.700 Another one is Trump, by the way, announcing a 90-day deal allowing 300,000 metric tons of ground beef imports
01:20:19.500 with no out-of-quota tariffs committed to sale, 25% below current market prices
01:20:25.380 because right now with the cost of beef and everything else,
01:20:30.020 everything's through the roof.
01:20:32.320 A lot of that has to do with cattle and things of that nature.
01:20:36.380 But I've actually got something else here.
01:20:38.740 There's another piece that proves that the government is the problem.
01:20:43.040 And, of course, I don't know if you've seen it lately,
01:20:46.180 But Buc-ee's, which is the big gas station chain, they are saying people love Buc-ee's, by the way.
01:20:56.660 The founder is saying we're not going to be in any blue states anytime soon because they make it harder to build in.
01:21:02.460 We have a lot of opportunities.
01:21:04.160 We're growing.
01:21:05.020 We're building in a lot of places.
01:21:07.560 But when you find a conservative, business-friendly state with a phenomenal workforce, it makes a difference.
01:21:18.040 It does, and they won't be building blue anytime soon.
01:21:22.280 Get out of the way, government, and get it done.
01:21:37.560 We'll be right back.
01:22:07.560 The fusion of entertainment, enlightenment, and empowerment.
01:22:22.420 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
01:22:26.380 Glenn Beck is on.

01:24:24.320 moving into the weekend and give you a chance to to join us in that but first there's some more
01:24:31.880 serious business we need to attend to and uh some of it is talking about the things again that we've
01:24:37.360 been dealing with and of course things that folks uh are are looking for answers to of course heading
01:24:43.000 into the midterms what is the top of mind we've talked about affordability but i'll i'll add in
01:24:47.540 this i know it's important to our next guest uh greg conningham trump endorsed gop candidate in
01:24:53.700 new mexico's second congressional district there um greg is a marine veteran spent 20 over 20 years
01:25:01.220 as a police officer went undercover with the cartels and one of the things that keeps sort of
01:25:06.560 i don't know sliding in the significance of uh of what we're dealing with on a daily basis and i
01:25:14.560 would say it's probably because of the work the trump administration has done it's it's not the
01:25:19.820 problem that it once was and you know this the squeaky wheel gets the grease but we can't we
01:25:24.620 can't forget how far we've come with a lot of it and that's that's the work on the border i want
01:25:30.160 to talk about that plus the things that uh greg sees that are that are top of mind for folks
01:25:35.220 in that race greg welcome into the glenbeck program oh thank you for having me sir i appreciate
01:25:40.940 this my pleasure and uh you know as i mentioned with your experience and thank you for it you
01:25:46.960 know the the courage to go out and do what you've done over uh over 20 years uh is is incredible
01:25:53.680 you you've seen it up close and personal what is what's it like right now on the border and
01:25:59.360 and uh that we don't see these stories that we we've seen during the biden administration
01:26:04.220 previously with so many people trying to come across each day and the issues that we've seen
01:26:09.720 what what has the trump administration been able to do and what's the work that still yet needs to
01:26:13.880 be done? Well, again, from someone that, you know, worked along the border that did title threes and
01:26:22.480 cases down there. You're right. I do have a very, you know, firsthand, you know, experience with
01:26:29.380 that and what the Trump administration has done by, you know, stopping the catching release and
01:26:36.260 And that executive order that got us here, that has given us a chance to sort of back up and look at what we need to do in a very clear eyed manner.
01:26:49.240 And I think that that's what we're dealing with in the media.
01:26:52.420 There's a lot of people now that, you know, the gates were open for four years and now we need to go back.
01:26:57.700 It's, you know, we're trying to shut the barn door after the horse has gone to some degree and we're getting a lot of pushback.
01:27:04.720 you'll see stories just yesterday in Santa Fe here, people just up in arms about federal officers
01:27:12.640 enforcing the law. And we just really need people to understand that law and order is the bedrock
01:27:20.220 of our country. Nothing else matters if we don't have safety, if we don't have the freedom to move
01:27:27.640 about, open businesses, and send our children to schools. So, you know, that is my area of
01:27:33.940 expertise and again i have the the knowledge and the will to get things done let me ask you um
01:27:42.520 you know because we've seen it here look i'm i'm as far north as michigan and we have seen the
01:27:48.240 biden border crisis uh impact us we had a one one case a particular it stands out to me it was a
01:27:54.740 case of the murder of ruby garcia right in my my my hometown here and um she was dating a man who
01:28:03.240 was here illegally in fact he had been sent home i believe trump administration the first time
01:28:08.520 around and found his way back in under the biden administration he was dating ruby garcia
01:28:13.180 and uh in fact one night one night they got into an argument driving down the highway here
01:28:19.620 in a busy stretch of of road he shoots her and kicks her out of the car leaves her to die
01:28:28.040 right there on the highway and it's just an an absolutely horrifying case and again
01:28:35.120 um it's one that the local media didn't even want people to know about we got a tip on this
01:28:41.040 and uh and shared it got some research investigation then found out the backstory on this man and uh
01:28:48.780 and that story came to light and then the president came here and shown a spotlight on it
01:28:54.580 for the family and for ruby garcia who's a victim to make sure that he took a stand on it i know
01:29:01.080 you're right you're right there so you you know stories like this may even be more um likely to
01:29:08.160 happen um with the danger of the cartels and and whatnot how how how is that impact for people
01:29:15.060 there well again the instances here are higher and i saw them again firsthand as a police officer
01:29:24.980 as a detective and what i would ask of people that are on the other side of this issue
01:29:32.420 is what's what's your number and by that i mean what number of american citizens or even immigrants
01:29:42.540 because they terrorize their own communities in many cases.
01:29:47.020 What number of people have to die for you to admit that there's a problem,
01:29:53.880 for you to step back and say, hey, wait a minute,
01:29:57.040 maybe there is something we need to look at here.
01:29:59.060 For me, having been on the streets and been personally involved in these cases,
01:30:05.340 my number is zero.
01:30:06.260 but but you know like the person you just mentioned that that is not a statistic that
01:30:14.780 woman is a real person and someone that hadn't that gentleman not been here and i use the word
01:30:20.900 loosely gentleman been here would would be here and so again what's your number what what do we
01:30:29.700 have to how many of our children and our loved ones do we have to sacrifice to this altar of
01:30:35.420 this ideology and and again as someone that has done this i am committed to that number being zero
01:30:41.660 yeah greg cunningham with us right now he's running uh as a republican in new mexico's
01:30:48.920 second uh congressional district endorsed by president trump what was the time i'm i'm
01:30:53.720 i'm i'm fascinated by this what was the time like uh you did some time
01:30:59.160 working undercover with the cartels what was that like what did you experience
01:31:03.300 uh well people ask me if you know about politics and and getting into politics
01:31:11.320 you know what the environment and their their concern for my safety but i point to those days
01:31:17.260 and say you know really contextually speaking i've been in much more dire situations it's um
01:31:24.800 i think as an undercover and i'll give you just a real
01:31:28.120 when you first start doing it you feel like you have police officer written on your forehead
01:31:34.540 and it's it's hard to go forward but after a while you realize that you know they don't know
01:31:41.540 who you are and it's just sort of uh the key is is to be yourself be calm keep your head about you
01:31:53.180 But you have to be careful not to let it take over your life.
01:31:56.780 When you're undercover like that, the lines between good and bad and right and wrong start to blur sometimes.
01:32:05.640 And it's that you have to stay grounded.
01:32:08.720 You have to stay humble, which I'm bringing into this arena.
01:32:12.260 And remember who you are and why you're doing things.
01:32:15.160 And when you look around at your children and your grandchildren, you know, they're poisoning our children.
01:32:22.700 I say they, the cartels, they're poisoning our children in the name of profit.
01:32:26.960 And when you remember that, it gave me a purpose to go to work.
01:32:31.340 And the way you and I are talking right here really is just the way I talk to them.
01:32:36.840 Just be yourself, be calm, and everything will take care of itself.
01:32:41.400 And so it was an interesting experience.
01:32:45.420 You know, one of these days, I'm sure I could write a decent book, but I have other things on my mind right now.
01:32:53.140 Yeah, Greg Cummingham is running for Congress there in the second district there in New Mexico.
01:32:59.880 Trump endorsed, talking about the board and some of the things she's saying.
01:33:03.340 In fact, you sort of made me chuckle when you said that, you know, that there's a blur from the line between right and wrong when you're working with the cartels.
01:33:11.880 And I think you've got all the experience you need then to be thrown into the swamp there in D.C. because you understand.
01:33:21.800 I can tell you I am uniquely trained for this.
01:33:26.260 So speaking of which, how much of role does faith play with you?
01:33:30.140 I mean, just hearing that in your voice a little bit, like, you know, that you had to have at least some sort of faith when you're dealing with these situations.
01:33:40.440 I'm so glad you brought that up.
01:33:42.140 That is actually where I started in politics.
01:33:45.860 I had no aspirations to do this when I retired.
01:33:49.480 I had opened my own business.
01:33:51.120 We know we have nine grandchildren.
01:33:53.160 My wife and I have a very full life.
01:33:55.060 But he was sitting in church during the pandemic, watching our governor try to close our church down.
01:34:02.780 My pastor, Steve Smotherman at Legacy Church, and Charlie Kirk used to come to our church.
01:34:08.460 And really, they were the first men to challenge me as a man and as a believer to stand and get involved
01:34:17.020 and shape the world in a church point of view
01:34:22.040 instead of having the world shape our church in its view.
01:34:25.360 And so I believe very strongly that believers and Christians
01:34:28.940 should get involved in politics and get involved in their community.
01:34:33.920 This misnomer that they've created,
01:34:36.380 this separation between church and state,
01:34:38.700 it's being used against us, and it's actually the opposite.
01:34:42.420 We're not supposed to keep the church out of state.
01:34:45.980 were supposed to keep the state out of church. And so I believe that strongly. This thing started
01:34:52.220 for me when Charlie Kirk was assassinated. That was the day I made up my decision to do this.
01:34:58.400 So I am a fruit of the seed that Charlie Kirk planted during his lifetime, and I'm very proud
01:35:06.040 of that. I'll just tell you, Greg, it's my experience, and I don't know exactly, maybe you
01:35:13.380 have similar dealing with people so much you know tend to you tend to get a little bit more inside
01:35:18.080 but there is something through the last six years or so every time i would talk to somebody that was
01:35:24.980 standing up in a way that was not reasonable although now we look at it and say yes this
01:35:32.880 that's a reasonable way to think about things but they were doing things that didn't make a lot of
01:35:38.040 sense logically well why is this person standing up they could be you know they could be attacked
01:35:41.720 and this could happen and that could happen, especially during those days, you know, about five, six years ago.
01:35:48.320 Every time I talked to somebody, I would just get this sense, and then I would ask them about this faith component.
01:35:54.900 It's so funny.
01:35:56.460 Now I completely see it.
01:35:59.640 It's no coincidence.
01:36:01.500 um they all had this this uh threat of faith that propelled them to stand up in the face
01:36:10.500 of uh some of the the wildest things that we were facing at the time and of course uh to do things
01:36:17.380 that most people would say you know you gotta either be crazy or cold to run for office you
01:36:22.260 know um and you know surely you understand that more than anybody well you know going back a
01:36:30.940 little further i was a reconnaissance marine in desert storm so i saw combat in desert storm so
01:36:37.680 and then i was part of the most elite units in the police department so i have that thing in me
01:36:43.900 that strives to be the best and and whatever i do i do it as hard as i can and and that is the
01:36:50.880 mentality i'm bringing into this but the underlying thing and everything i've done has been what you
01:36:58.100 just said that sense of right and wrong and doing what's honorable and and what's best for our
01:37:05.320 country and for our people and i've always believed that and and again people i'm not naive
01:37:10.680 you know i am a believer but my history shows that i've operated in the grayest areas on this planet
01:37:16.780 so i am not naive about what washington is or isn't but i do know and i've shown this that
01:37:24.520 if done correctly I can and will make a difference in New Mexico and that will
01:37:30.980 you know that will in turn make a difference for the country you know CD2 in New Mexico
01:37:36.240 matters we're one of the five or six races in this country that are true toss-ups and so
01:37:42.640 there are national implications to this race I understand the weight that's on my shoulders
01:37:48.640 but my history shows you that I'm ready I'm prepared and we're going to get it done Justin
01:37:54.860 Greg Cunningham, I hope that you do for the folks in New Mexico
01:37:59.320 and, of course, in the rest of the country here that I hear that in your voice,
01:38:03.940 what I hear right now.
01:38:04.880 I really hope you do, and God willing, you will.
01:38:09.260 Greg, what's the best way for folks to maybe reach out,
01:38:13.780 particularly if they're in New Mexico, they want to help,
01:38:16.080 or what's the best way for them to stay in touch with you?
01:38:20.380 As always, sir, it's Cunningham for NM.
01:38:23.180 it's c-u-n-n-i-n-g-h-a-m-f-o-r-n-m.com it's that's the portal to get involved that is a
01:38:32.780 portal to get to know who we are and again i i welcome discourse i welcome people asking who we
01:38:38.960 are and why we're here i think once they start unfeeling these layers they're going to like what
01:38:44.360 they see yeah absolutely praying for you and uh and in this race uh such a critical such a critical
01:38:52.900 election season, Greg. We always appreciate it.
01:38:55.180 God bless. Thank you, sir.
01:38:57.080 God bless you, and prayer is absolutely
01:38:59.400 the foundation of this
01:39:01.140 and the most important thing, so thank you.
01:39:03.740 Absolutely. My pleasure.
01:39:06.160 A refreshing
01:39:07.060 conversation with somebody who wants
01:39:09.060 to go make things right in the
01:39:11.180 swamp. You probably
01:39:12.460 talk to most people, they don't really want to go
01:39:15.000 to the swamp, don't really want to do that,
01:39:17.120 but when you're on a mission,
01:39:19.220 things look a little bit different.
01:39:20.960 Good for him. Coming up, like I said,
01:39:22.900 We're kind of trying to have a little bit of fun on a Friday.
01:39:25.500 I got some stories I want to get to.
01:39:27.000 In fact, some good news, too.
01:39:29.380 So don't go anywhere.
01:39:30.340 We're just getting things fired up.

01:39:48.380 Don't wait for something like clogged gutters to turn into bigger, more costly home repairs.
01:39:52.400 Listen, you don't want to get up on the ladder.

01:40:57.380 Have you seen this?
01:40:58.580 This is the wildest thing I have ever seen.
01:41:02.960 And that's saying a lot in the last few days.
01:41:06.120 There's so many funny, weird things that are happening.
01:41:09.200 It's like drinking from a fire hose.
01:41:10.860 Never a dull moment, that's what I like to say, but I totally feel that way.
01:41:14.740 this interview
01:41:17.280 with the president. I've talked to him
01:41:20.960 a few times. I will tell you
01:41:23.000 it is always interesting when you talk
01:41:25.080 to the president. You kind of
01:41:26.480 you kind of open
01:41:29.080 the door and you let him
01:41:30.780 run in some ways.
01:41:35.240 I've always enjoyed
01:41:36.620 the conversations that I've been
01:41:39.200 fortunate to have.
01:41:41.100 I've never seen one like this
01:41:43.140 and i've seen him i've i've heard plenty of interviews watched lots of media i've never
01:41:50.500 seen anything like this and you probably haven't either i couldn't believe he agreed to it number
01:41:55.780 one it's never what i think what's this about um but i certainly um after seeing this and hearing
01:42:06.820 some of it i thought well okay boy this is really going to have a lot of people talking i can't
01:42:12.100 imagine some of the things folks are going to be saying. Trump sat down with Michael Cohen.
01:42:22.760 In fact, I got some of the clips. We're going to get some of these on the way for you. But he sat
01:42:26.500 down with Michael Cohen, the rat, the guy that turned down him, right? And he's been out there
01:42:33.220 badmouthing Trump for how long now? We've got some of the audio from this. I want to go back
01:42:37.520 to 2016 if we can because you and i have obviously traveled a pretty rocky road together
01:42:43.140 you remember do you remember sir when i went on cnn with brianna keeler and she told me that you
01:42:48.840 were underwater in the polls and i responded with those famous two words says who which became some
01:42:55.720 worldwide meme and advocate and then they weaponized you like nobody's ever been weaponized
01:43:01.380 like few have been well maybe just you and i sir and you yeah me too but i don't consider mine you
01:43:07.300 Mine was at a level that nobody's ever seen before.
01:43:10.860 This interview and the clips that are coming out of it
01:43:13.780 are going to have people talking.
01:43:15.740 If you haven't heard it yet, I got to sum.
01:43:17.720 And I want to share what I think is going on here
01:43:19.680 because, boy, there's some behind the scenes.
01:43:23.260 We'll get to it coming up.
01:43:23.900 When it comes to supplements, two things matter most.
01:43:26.420 One, that it works.
01:43:27.520 And two, you can trust it.
01:43:29.000 Rather than just tell you about Relief Factor,
01:43:31.420 I want to let my audience do it.
01:43:33.280 We hear from people every single day whose lives have changed.
01:43:35.600 and I'd like you to hear a few of their stories.
01:43:37.900 Jim wrote in, he said he ran out of relief factor twice.
01:43:40.780 Both times his ache and stiffness and pain came back.
01:43:43.640 Once he restarted, he said, I felt better again.
01:43:45.900 As Jim puts it, you know something's working
01:43:47.800 when you run out of it.
01:43:49.040 Jim, I can tell you that's exactly,
01:43:50.720 I mean, I didn't run out of it.
01:43:51.820 I just thought, you know, my wife made me take it.
01:43:54.120 I'm like, I'm not, it's not gonna work.
01:43:55.660 And then I started feeling better and I was like,
01:43:56.980 well, I did my three weeks.
01:43:58.300 I'm feeling better, but it's just me.
01:43:59.840 I just, I'm in a good spot.
01:44:01.300 I stopped taking it and it all came rushing back.
01:44:03.460 That's how I appreciate what Relief Factor does, and it could change your life.
01:44:07.060 They make it easy to find out if you'll be the next person telling us Relief Factor helped you tackle your daily aches and pain.

01:44:33.460 I have a number of things that I've been meaning to get to, some of them all week,
01:44:58.200 and some of them that are just new.
01:45:02.340 But I've got to get through this stack of things that I've got.
01:45:06.780 And I think some of them are actually going to be kind of fun.
01:45:09.300 I think you'll enjoy some of these.
01:45:11.420 It's Justin Barclay in for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck program,

01:45:24.320 Love to hear the emails.
01:45:25.120 So one of the stranger things, I can't imagine President Trump having enemies and then making amends with the enemies, having a conversation on an interview with Michael Cohen.
01:45:40.560 This is the guy, the fixer at one point for the president, and close, I think, is maybe not even accurate enough to put it.
01:45:50.780 They were at one point.
01:45:52.080 Now, a conversation where the president agreed to do it yesterday,
01:45:57.020 and this is the culmination of it.
01:46:00.700 But they weaponized you.
01:46:02.040 They weaponized a lot of people.
01:46:03.840 And I respect the fact that you recanted everything you said,
01:46:08.940 and that's a big thing that you did.
01:46:12.620 Really?
01:46:16.460 It's kind of mind-blowing, isn't it?
01:46:18.580 Do you know who this is harder for for anybody else, though?
01:46:21.980 This is harder for CNN and for the folks on the left now than anyone else
01:46:32.220 to really wrap their minds around what is going on with this whole thing.
01:46:36.500 That hush money prosecution of Donald Trump two years ago has nothing left to stand on
01:46:41.180 because now the star witness.
01:46:43.400 This is CNN, by the way.
01:46:45.020 The guy who is the reason why every prosecutor who looked at this case,
01:46:48.220 including the Biden DOJ, the prior liberal Democratic DA
01:46:52.320 passed on charging this case,
01:46:53.760 is because they didn't trust Michael Cohen
01:46:56.260 beyond a reasonable doubt.
01:46:57.960 Alvin Bragg rolled that dice,
01:46:59.500 and now Michael Cohen has said publicly
01:47:01.460 that he, quote, felt, important,
01:47:04.460 felt pressured and coerced by prosecutors.
01:47:07.140 So where do you stand on Michael Cohen now?
01:47:09.800 If you believe he's a truth teller,
01:47:12.080 then he felt pressured and coerced by prosecutors.
01:47:14.280 That's not acceptable.
01:47:15.240 If you believe he's a liar,
01:47:16.380 then your case is bailed on a life.
01:47:18.620 So that case is going through its appeal process incredibly slowly.
01:47:22.200 I think there are major legal infirmities with it,
01:47:24.580 but now the factual predicate has collapsed.
01:47:26.760 Yeah, and the internet is exploding too
01:47:28.480 because now there's lots of question around what happened?
01:47:32.700 Was there something more happening behind the scenes here?
01:47:38.100 Were they working together in some way?
01:47:41.060 Was this a rogue idea from Cohen to go out and do what he did?
01:47:46.640 Or is he just sort of a scumbag and will say whatever needs to be said in the moment?
01:47:59.520 I will tell you one thing.
01:48:00.900 I never had this on my bingo card.
01:48:03.100 i never had trump and cohen doing a a conversation doing an interview together and then cohen
01:48:13.900 flipping the script i mean i i was just a few months ago i think the guy was on tiktok or
01:48:19.480 something uh i'd see him pop up and just talking all kinds of trash and smack against the president
01:48:26.100 so it is yeah it is the strangest but it won't be the strangest thing you'll see today
01:48:33.040 it is it is strange it won't be the strangest thing you'll see today uh particularly if you're
01:48:41.620 on the internet there's there's no shortage of strangeness there's just no shortage of it this
01:48:47.420 this might be one of my favorite things i've seen today and i've seen a few
01:48:55.480 So, this is a man who's walked into, well, I assume, walked into a city council meeting in San Diego, and he is, well, you'll recognize, you'll recognize the voice.
01:49:11.780 You heard the name.
01:49:13.100 Darth Vader is called to the.
01:49:14.640 vader now approaching the uh the the daisy now he's he's gonna comment uh on a subject that's
01:49:30.260 really gotten a lot of controversy uh lately he's gonna comment on flock cameras darth vader here
01:49:38.540 the emperor is a fan of flock and we must continue utilizing flock technologies so that we can
01:49:52.220 follow and surveil the rebel scum as they this is this is you're probably is that real this is from
01:49:58.780 the public safety can san diego public safety committee non-agenda public comment uh two days
01:50:05.080 ago in san diego from their feet move from playground to playground from playground to
01:50:10.600 pool from pool to gymnasium because we all know that the flock cameras are not only following
01:50:16.360 the license plate readers they are following children they are following children in parks
01:50:21.320 and gymnasiums and we need this i need this so i can stalk my ex-girlfriend thank you that
01:50:28.360 That I don't even know.
01:50:35.420 I don't even know what to do with that.
01:50:38.780 I don't even know what to do with it.
01:50:43.340 I'm glad we have it.
01:50:46.300 I'm glad some folks have a sense of humor.
01:50:48.880 I'm glad we can have fun with it.
01:50:52.280 But I don't even know what to do.
01:50:55.200 As I mentioned, the president having the conversation with Cohen, definitely not the strangest thing you're going to see all day today.
01:51:05.820 There may even be, in fact, there may even be something even more strange between now and then.
01:51:16.720 I'll tell you what's refreshing, though.
01:51:18.140 In fact, I've got some really, really good – I've got a story that – it'll be a great way to kick off your way because it might restore a little bit of your faith in humanity coming up in just a little bit.
01:51:37.480 But first, this is like primo parenting points.
01:51:42.480 And as a dad, I will tell you, like, I'm – so I got two daughters, and they're three and five, and it is something that I think about, particularly you're talking about Trump accounts and you're saving kids.
01:51:55.800 You're saving for college.
01:51:56.840 You're saving for your kids.
01:51:57.620 You're thinking about what are they going – what's any of that even going to look like 18 years from now or whatever?
01:52:05.540 What is that even, what is college, what are they, what are they going to do?
01:52:12.120 And where do you send them?
01:52:15.820 And I guess it's refreshing for me to see this because it makes me think, okay, you're not the only one.
01:52:22.180 Sean Duffy, the Secretary of Transportation, it's just almost like, I don't know where this came from,
01:52:29.940 but it's making the rounds on, like, it's almost like a,
01:52:32.480 this is almost like, like, almost shot like a reality TV show kind of thing.
01:52:39.740 Here he is talking to his daughter,
01:52:42.780 and they're discussing the subject of schooling.
01:52:46.900 She, apparently, she wants to go to Harvard.
01:52:50.160 I think that's how you have to say it anyway.
01:52:52.660 Did I get that right?
01:52:55.160 She wants to go to Harvard,
01:52:57.860 And the advice he has here, in fact, kind of laying down the law, scores primo points as far as parenting.
01:53:06.500 Is it dad? Dad's everywhere.
01:53:08.020 I think this is how you handle it.
01:53:10.300 Can't say no.
01:53:11.540 To Harvard?
01:53:12.240 Yeah.
01:53:12.880 Well, me and mom can say no.
01:53:16.700 Catholicism, to us, is everything.
01:53:19.500 It's the basis of our marriage.
01:53:21.120 It's the basis of our family.
01:53:22.320 so I'm nervous about the idea of Paloma going to Harvard.
01:53:28.300 We spend a lot of time nurturing
01:53:29.900 and providing formation for our kids,
01:53:31.920 giving them an environment
01:53:33.700 where they are steeped in faith and values.
01:53:36.700 And so the idea of dropping her off at a place
01:53:39.400 that would undermine that
01:53:41.300 or try to undo all those things makes me worried.
01:53:44.440 And again, I don't want them to get one viewpoint.
01:53:46.440 I want them to get a lot of different viewpoints,
01:53:48.640 but I don't want them fed only one viewpoint
01:53:51.140 is contrary to the way my kids were raised.
01:53:53.620 Listen, my problem is we have thought about
01:53:56.920 how we raised you and how hard we've worked to,
01:54:00.520 I think, raise what is a remarkable young girl.
01:54:04.320 If I send you there, I think what happens is
01:54:07.380 they have professionalized figuring out
01:54:10.720 how they can take good young girls like you
01:54:14.160 and, I think, corrupt their minds.
01:54:16.700 You don't have to believe what I believe.
01:54:18.440 don't have to have the political viewpoints that i have but i do think it's important that you make
01:54:23.500 those choices for yourself and you have a fair representation of what they are and i don't think
01:54:28.860 the harvards of the world give you that i you know i can't i can't i can't agree more i mean on one
01:54:37.300 hand you would go to a place like harford to get not just the the education well the indoctrination
01:54:44.680 now but you would go there for connections and um things like that um there's a lot of that that's
01:54:53.660 probably already happening in that family yeah so so that's you know that's part of it kids
01:55:01.640 kids though and this is some of the the biggest issue um kids are going into debt
01:55:11.100 I don't even
01:55:13.120 going to get me started on the price of what
01:55:15.000 it would be, but
01:55:16.980 they're going into debt
01:55:18.280 and
01:55:20.420 they're saddled with this
01:55:23.280 you know, like a
01:55:25.300 lifetime amount
01:55:27.260 of debt
01:55:27.760 saddled with it
01:55:30.220 for
01:55:32.700 what?
01:55:34.580 A lot of them can't even find any
01:55:36.620 job or the job that they'd
01:55:39.120 like to have that went to
01:55:41.020 School four certainly doesn't pay what they thought it would pay.
01:55:46.000 And then, of course, you have all the other issues that we're dealing with in the indoctrination.
01:55:49.800 I mean, some of them, just speaking to mind viruses like we did earlier this week, some of them, what happens is they're infected with mind viruses.
01:56:04.200 And when they come out, that infection, it doesn't just impact their life on the scale of what things are going to look like financially or economically or what they're going to do.
01:56:21.700 But it is every bit of their happiness, the level of fulfillment that they might feel.
01:56:34.200 Their faith, as they mentioned, the Duffies, that's probably the most important aspect of it.
01:56:43.340 And, yeah, it's tough.
01:56:46.720 It's something that I think about every day with our kids.
01:56:49.660 What are we going to do?
01:56:50.780 What's it going to look like?
01:56:53.380 What's school?
01:56:54.300 What's work going to look like in 20 years?
01:56:56.260 I mean, I don't know.
01:56:59.540 You think about the way things are right now.
01:57:02.160 A lot of these trades are becoming, if you've got kids going into something right now, trades are becoming even more important.
01:57:09.860 And it is something that you might want to consider if you're young or if you've got kids right now.
01:57:20.560 Mike Rose made a, I mean, he's made a really great point of shining a spotlight on that and the necessity.
01:57:27.920 What it boils down to what we actually need in this country right now.
01:57:32.160 they pay very very well i mean some of these guys you go out and you learn learn a trade you work
01:57:39.000 for somebody you're going to make six figures or more and then after you've learned that trade you
01:57:44.680 have the opportunity to go out and maybe even a lot of them hvac and some of these other electrical
01:57:48.820 etc they have the chance to go out and open their own thing at a time when a lot of these other guys
01:57:53.920 are retiring anyway so they could make much more than doctors or lawyers and just a fortune if if
01:58:01.160 in fact that's what they want to do so as a parent i struggle with it right now and i think
01:58:06.300 it's just refreshing to see the duffy's dealing with it too and of course in a number of different
01:58:11.240 ways that's what we're all trying to do just trying to figure out how do we get these kids
01:58:15.180 out there and make a make an advantage an opportunity that they have things uh like we
01:58:22.160 had these same opportunities and maybe even a little bit better that was in fact the american
01:58:28.380 dream i still believe it's possible alive and well that that may be a different discussion
01:58:34.780 but possible and there are lots of good things that are happening still yet and in fact
01:58:39.980 i've got a great story it's one that'll restore your faith in humanity altogether coming up we'll
01:58:45.620 get to it as we put the cap on a fantastic week filling in for going today justin barkley and
01:58:52.160 for Glenn Beck after this on the Glenn Beck program.

02:00:33.440 sounded like people were bowling upstairs she found out those strange noises were coming from
02:00:40.640 something she never would have expected this poor lady can barely get down the stairs
02:00:46.820 And I'm wondering what the bowling ball sound is.
02:00:50.200 Yeah, that's her walker.
02:00:51.640 Just last month, Heidi Winmer packed up her life in Buffalo and moved to L.A.
02:00:56.000 The middle school teacher and budding influencer left behind a few bad relationships
02:00:59.960 and wanted to start a new life.
02:01:02.000 But first, she just wanted to sleep.
02:01:04.360 My first night was a little rough.
02:01:06.660 There was a loud neighbor, noisy neighbor above.
02:01:09.860 weeks later she met the source of the noise when her upstairs neighbor carol dropped her recyclables
02:01:16.920 right outside heidi's apartment an 85 year old widow with parkinson's and of course
02:01:24.720 this moment changed her life and the widow's life forever now she takes out the trash for her she
02:01:33.900 Has begun cooking for her
02:01:36.940 She started cleaning her apartment
02:01:38.440 And now these two
02:01:40.300 Are the best of friends
