The Glenn Beck Program - 'America Is Back!' – Is It, Mr. President？｜ 11⧸26⧸21 ｜ Guest： Justin Barclay ｜ The Glenn Beck Program

00:00:00.000 What you are about to hear is the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment.

00:00:25.000 This is the Glenn Beck Program.

00:00:34.500 Oh, boy.

00:00:36.580 What a week.

00:00:37.840 And what a weekend it's shaping up to be.

00:00:39.720 You know, you used to take some time off during this time of year, the holidays.

00:00:44.860 And you used to just enjoy it.

00:00:47.060 And not a lot happening.

00:00:48.360 But these days, the way the news cycle is, it's like drinking from a fire hose.

00:00:52.520 And I think right now we've got our mouth right on the hider.

00:00:56.500 It's Justin Barkley filling in for Glenn Beck today.

00:01:00.180 And boy, oh, boy.

00:01:01.820 I got to tell you, we're going to do our best to catch up.

00:01:04.380 I don't know if you're still in the turkey hangover or not.

00:01:06.960 But we'll start with Biden.

00:01:10.260 And an odd character that he was joined with yesterday, Al Roker.

00:01:16.660 Right after this.

00:01:22.520 If you haven't heard about it yet, Legacy Box is a simple and safe way to digitize your treasured videotapes, film reels, things that you don't even know what format that is or what machine plays it.

00:01:38.140 They have helped millions of people safeguard their important recorded moments by digitizing them all by hand right here in the U.S.

00:01:45.340 You'll get all the originals back alongside the digital copies that will always be protected.

00:01:50.820 It's what Better Homes and Gardens calls the most sentimental gift to make the holiday season special.

00:01:55.700 And with their Black Friday event, which is starting right now, more families can enjoy digitizing their home movies and photos with an insane 65% off.

00:02:04.200 I've used Legacy Box to save photos that we found while we were remodeling our house.

00:02:08.660 Pictures, they fade over time.

00:02:10.400 This holiday is the perfect time to preserve those memories.

00:02:13.500 Visit LegacyBox.com slash Beck.

00:02:16.060 Get an unprecedented 65% off for Black Friday.

00:02:19.040 With limited quantities ready to ship, this deal will go fast.

00:02:22.660 Legacy Box's lowest price of the year.

00:02:25.040 LegacyBox.com slash Beck.

00:02:43.500 You know, while most folks would normally take off, and right now, I think that this time of the year, the holidays, there's one individual who is sort of off.

00:02:54.760 Well, he's always off.

00:02:55.740 Let's just be honest.

00:02:57.900 But he would wish and kind of hope that he'd take a little bit more time off.

00:03:03.080 But yesterday, he was working.

00:03:04.600 He was at it.

00:03:05.320 And I missed this live.

00:03:09.000 I won't really say.

00:03:10.220 I guess I missed it.

00:03:10.980 But I turned the parade on for maybe five seconds yesterday.

00:03:16.000 Because it's what you do, right?

00:03:17.400 The morning of Thanksgiving, you get up and you watch the parade.

00:03:20.500 And I tend to take it easy yesterday.

00:03:22.120 I made breakfast for the family.

00:03:23.700 And we're getting ready.

00:03:26.060 And let's turn the parade on for a few minutes.

00:03:28.480 And it was, I don't think, did they do one last year?

00:03:33.160 It was very strange if they did.

00:03:36.240 Everything kind of runs together now.

00:03:38.720 But I thought it was kind of interesting that this parade, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade, there were people you could see out in New York City and they weren't wearing masks.

00:03:47.580 I mean, even though they were outside, that's still kind of a big, that's a big step for a lot of those folks.

00:03:52.620 So I thought that was kind of interesting.

00:03:54.040 But I didn't really recognize any of the names, a lot of the people that were going to be these big celebrities.

00:03:57.900 And I said, okay, Sesame Street.

00:04:00.920 A lot of woke.

00:04:02.720 There was like a lot of wokeism that was already starting to come in.

00:04:06.440 And these women that were in sort of lingerie or something dancing. 0.99

00:04:10.520 And I got my little girl here.

00:04:12.560 She's just about ready to turn a year old.

00:04:14.380 That's probably not the best for her to.

00:04:16.420 Well, let's just turn this off.

00:04:17.660 We'll do something else.

00:04:18.720 Can't even watch the parade these days.

00:04:20.820 And that's when I found out later today I missed it.

00:04:24.500 I don't know if you saw this.

00:04:25.860 But apparently the resident, I call him the resident because I don't really think he's all together there anyway.

00:04:31.780 Paul, I think there are other people behind the strings or behind the scenes pulling the strings, if you know what I mean.

00:04:38.840 Biden, Brandon.

00:04:39.620 He decides he's going to call in for a surprise, and I'm using the air quotes because you can't see me right now, but a surprise phone call with Al Roker.

00:04:51.600 I tell you, there's nothing surprised about anything.

00:04:54.840 Everything's planned.

00:04:55.680 They've got this stuff, and especially when you do a live TV like this, down to the second.

00:04:59.580 Everything's planned out.

00:05:00.800 Scripted.

00:05:01.160 Everything's scripted on TV anyway.

00:05:04.520 It's a lot different than radio.

00:05:05.620 Here, I just kind of have a bit of an outline.

00:05:08.140 I may have, like, some ideas of things.

00:05:10.280 There's stories that I have bullet points I want to talk about or whatever.

00:05:13.300 And then you've got to be flexible because things might come up or you get a phone call or something that pops up and you're going to maybe talk about something different.

00:05:21.940 So you've got to be able to be fluid, like gender, you know, these days.

00:05:28.420 You've got to be able to go with the flow.

00:05:31.440 And so it's really different.

00:05:34.260 So that's when Roker gets this strange surprise phone call, and here it goes, folks.

00:05:39.680 The resident's on the other line.

00:05:41.100 It's what he said that has people talking.

00:05:45.780 Wow.

00:05:46.100 Oh, hold on.

00:05:46.720 My phone's ringing.

00:05:47.740 Just a second.

00:05:48.280 Oh, my God.

00:05:49.220 Look at who's calling.

00:05:50.220 Oh, hello.

00:05:51.940 Hello.

00:05:52.840 Hello, Mr. President.

00:05:54.240 How you doing, pal?

00:05:55.520 How you doing?

00:05:56.880 Oh, Dr. Biden and Mr. President, thank you so much.

00:06:00.100 Happy Thanksgiving to you.

00:06:01.700 It couldn't be more fake, could it?

00:06:04.220 I mean, this guy is not winning an Oscar anytime soon.

00:06:08.360 I'm sure Al is doing his best.

00:06:09.960 He probably likes these guys, so it's not a big deal for him.

00:06:15.900 Oh, Dr. Biden.

00:06:18.440 Mr. President.

00:06:18.980 You know, she's a doctor, right?

00:06:21.940 Of education.

00:06:23.360 But anyway, she's on the phone, and he's on the phone.

00:06:26.880 I don't know.

00:06:27.200 He probably didn't even dial it.

00:06:29.500 She probably dialed it and pushed the phone in his face and said, talk to this guy.

00:06:34.060 We've got some lucid moments.

00:06:36.140 Let's get you on TV.

00:06:37.820 New York firefighter.

00:06:39.160 That's right.

00:06:40.340 We had a New York firefighter here, and it's so good for you.

00:06:44.620 That I have no clue.

00:06:45.880 Maybe there was a firefighter on before this.

00:06:49.160 I didn't see it live, so I don't know.

00:06:51.420 But he said, ah, firefighter.

00:06:53.860 Calling.

00:06:54.280 We thank you so much.

00:06:55.220 What's your message to the American folks on this Thanksgiving Day?

00:07:00.160 My message is, after two years, you're back.

00:07:02.960 America is back.

00:07:04.060 There's nothing we're unable to overcome, Al.

00:07:06.560 And you're one of the reasons for that, pal.

00:07:08.540 You're always up.

00:07:09.380 You're always rooting.

00:07:10.940 Wow.

00:07:11.180 Well, we appreciate it, Mr. President.

00:07:13.220 Thank you so much.

00:07:14.140 I hope you're going to continue to watch the parade.

00:07:16.160 I don't even know if Al could believe what he just heard the president say.

00:07:22.460 After two years, we're back.

00:07:24.880 America's back.

00:07:25.800 There's nothing we're unable to overcome, Al.

00:07:28.320 And you're one of the reasons for that, pal.

00:07:30.260 You're always up.

00:07:31.100 You're always rooting.

00:07:32.040 So this is the we're back now?

00:07:35.820 Apparently, we're back, folks.

00:07:37.480 Because that's the message the resident had yesterday for America, for Al Roker, and,

00:07:45.660 of course, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

00:07:50.000 We're back.

00:07:51.680 So I guess this is what back means.

00:07:56.380 It's because I had to do a double back from what?

00:07:59.960 He's back on Nantucket with his billionaire friend spending the weekend there.

00:08:03.780 Is that what he meant?

00:08:04.500 He's back on the phone with Al?

00:08:08.940 I don't know.

00:08:09.780 America's back.

00:08:12.800 By the way, this is, I'm reporting as I'm watching Dow Futures tumble this morning.

00:08:22.120 But America's back was the message the resident had yesterday.

00:08:25.920 It sure, I don't know about you, but it sure doesn't feel that way.

00:08:32.160 In fact, I don't know if anyone who's being legitimately honest could answer the question,

00:08:42.360 do you feel like we're better off than we were four years ago?

00:08:48.280 We don't even have to go four years ago.

00:08:49.820 How about a year ago?

00:08:52.240 Two?

00:08:53.260 We're certainly not better.

00:08:54.480 We're certainly not back by any stretch of the imagination.

00:09:04.000 What does back look like for this administration?

00:09:11.140 We'll talk about that coming up because I want to go through the facts.

00:09:14.280 I want to go through the list.

00:09:20.160 This morning, by the way, as we hear with the latest news, there is a another variant of concern.

00:09:30.060 Yes, a dangerous variant that is making its way across the globe that we all must be afraid of.

00:09:42.680 Be very, very afraid.

00:09:46.780 First, we have the Delta variant.

00:09:48.940 That's not enough.

00:09:49.960 Apparently, that didn't scare people enough.

00:09:52.400 It was supposed to target your kids.

00:09:54.020 Remember the Delta variant?

00:09:55.760 The dreaded Delta variant.

00:09:57.840 Oh, goodness.

00:10:00.440 Now, that's not enough.

00:10:01.620 We have a new variant out of South Africa, apparently.

00:10:04.240 That is all the rage.

00:10:05.720 We'll talk about that a little later on this morning.

00:10:08.440 But in every category, in every area, I don't know that there's one place that you could pick and say, you know, we're actually better off than we were, specifically in COVID.

00:10:23.740 More people have died this year than last year, and that's with a jab.

00:10:37.400 The data tells the truth.

00:10:44.060 And remember, we're supposed to listen to the science and the data.

00:10:47.280 And it's not just the polling data and the political science.

00:10:52.460 Because, boy, I tell you what, that's not in his favor either.

00:10:55.800 We'll run through that list.

00:10:57.580 Are we really back after this?

00:11:01.560 It's Justin Barkley in for Glenn Beck this morning on the Glenn Beck Program.

00:11:10.000 You've heard me talking about MyPillow for years and how it's changed the way I sleep.

00:11:14.420 Mike Lindell, the inventor of MyPillow, fitted me personally for my own MyPillow because I told him, I said, I don't think I really like him.

00:11:21.600 And he said, wait, I think you have the wrong one.

00:11:23.840 Got me the king-size pillow.

00:11:25.340 It has changed the way I sleep.

00:11:26.960 It will not go flat.

00:11:28.400 You can wash and dry it constantly, and it stays the same amazing shape.

00:11:31.820 You fluff it once before you go to sleep, and it's that way.

00:11:34.920 Best of all, it's made right here.

00:11:36.940 So you don't have to worry about, are they going to be MyPillows on the shelves?

00:11:40.940 Along with the lowest price offer, Mike is also extending his money-back guarantee trial until March 1st of next year, so it makes a great Christmas gift.

00:11:49.700 You can get the standard MyPillow for $19.98, originally $69.98, a $50 savings, and the king-size pillow is $10 more.

00:11:57.860 Go and see all their rotating discounts over 150 MyPillow products.

00:12:02.180 Enter the promo code BECK, 800-966-3117.

00:12:05.460 800-966-3117.

00:12:07.400 It's MyPillow.com, promo code BECK.

00:12:22.560 Hey, live from Grand Rapids, Michigan, high atop the thriving metropolis this morning.

00:12:26.660 Very cold, a little bit of snow.

00:12:28.720 To the rest of America, it's Justin Barkley in today for Glenn Beck on the Glenn Beck Program.

00:12:34.540 Hey, by the way, if you want to reach out to me, I'll give you the phone number here in a second.

00:12:40.100 I've got a text line.

00:12:41.180 You can text me during the entire program today.

00:12:44.700 And the great thing about this is that I can actually see what you say while I'm on the air.

00:12:49.540 So if you've got a comment, something you want to add to the program, you can.

00:12:52.700 And vice versa, I can send things back to you as well.

00:12:55.200 Here's the number, 616 is the area code, 201-3353.

00:13:02.160 616-201-3353.

00:13:06.320 So a couple of questions, and you can answer me here on the text if you want.

00:13:09.100 But very simply, are we better off?

00:13:11.600 I think the only person who thinks so may be the man who's brain dead in his basement.

00:13:18.040 That there's just no way, in fact, the polling shows this is just a man who is increasingly less and less popular every day.

00:13:29.300 The only person who is less popular than this resident is the vice resident.

00:13:37.460 She is the only one who is, in fact, less popular than him.

00:13:41.660 And I saw a story yesterday, I think it was New York Post.

00:13:43.780 The polling's so low now, especially where he's in the Nantucket, I guess with the billionaire friend of his staying the weekend at the compound there.

00:13:53.040 Polling in the single digits from one resident, at least, who flipped him a single digit.

00:14:01.360 Because yesterday, what he was making his way through on the motorcade.

00:14:04.800 Very interesting, nevertheless.

00:14:06.800 But it's that type of feeling out there.

00:14:11.600 So what would you add to this list?

00:14:13.160 Because I was just making a bit of a list.

00:14:15.380 And here's what I got.

00:14:16.240 I mean, more people have died this year than last from COVID.

00:14:21.000 From the Rona.

00:14:23.780 And that's with a jab.

00:14:27.580 And not just one.

00:14:29.300 Two.

00:14:30.480 And then the various boosters.

00:14:32.680 You know, you might need to get a, but might be, but might have a booster for you.

00:14:36.800 You might need to get one every month.

00:14:39.520 You might have to.

00:14:40.640 It could be problematic because maybe the efficacy isn't as good as it was.

00:14:45.400 And so maybe you might need to get an extra boost over here.

00:14:49.720 I don't know.

00:14:51.280 That's the high priest of health, by the way.

00:14:53.620 With the boosters.

00:14:54.520 So we've got all these boosters.

00:14:55.780 We've got all these people.

00:14:56.540 Their jobs are being threatened, forced out.

00:14:58.220 Actually have a very good, I won't say the full relationship.

00:15:02.140 We've got a close family, a friend who actually had it.

00:15:06.460 This individual's a nurse working front lines.

00:15:13.140 These are heroes.

00:15:16.400 And how fast did we go from one year?

00:15:18.040 Hero to zero.

00:15:19.120 So quickly.

00:15:22.260 Frontline worker.

00:15:24.500 She had it.

00:15:26.060 Forced to work without any actual protection.

00:15:28.400 No jab during this entire time.

00:15:29.840 On the front lines just because she cared.

00:15:31.920 She actually works at Veterans Home.

00:15:37.300 She's serving some of the folks who, in a lot of cases, are forgotten, left behind.

00:15:43.440 But she's part of the force of the folks that actually serve these individuals.

00:15:48.260 And so she got it last year.

00:15:51.800 It was about this time.

00:15:53.000 Missed Christmas with the family.

00:15:57.580 And another interesting piece was wearing an N95 mask the entire time she was at work.

00:16:08.500 So she is now, even though she still has not regained her sense of taste or smell, and still has issues.

00:16:25.940 And even been told by doctors, yeah, you may not want to get this right after, you know, in fact, you have the antibodies already.

00:16:35.100 She's taken tests, found out she has them.

00:16:38.440 But because of the CMS mandate, she's been told, get the jab or lose your job.

00:16:44.020 So people are being forced out of work, no jab, no job.

00:16:46.900 I don't even think she can test every way.

00:16:48.880 I think she would if she could.

00:16:50.460 But she's facing that, staring down the barrel of possibility.

00:16:55.220 And at the age of near retirement, and there are, what, 13 states, I think it was, that are now suing a part of that action.

00:17:06.860 And that's separate again from the OSHA, Department of Labor issue.

00:17:13.940 And that is also separate from the DOD, and so there's several different prongs of this administration that is trying to administer all these different rules and mandates to us that may, in fact, be illegal.

00:17:33.280 I would argue they are.

00:17:34.280 In fact, what, now the 6th District is taking this up, specifically the OSHA issue.

00:17:43.300 And that may be just get thrown out altogether.

00:17:44.900 They put a halt on it, and Biden administration's gone out and said, hey, no, no, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.

00:17:49.000 If you're a company, if you're a big employee, still put this into place, go ahead, move forward.

00:17:54.980 The rules and the laws don't really matter to these people.

00:17:58.240 They don't care.

00:17:58.920 So what else do we have on that list?

00:18:02.820 What does Build Back Better look like?

00:18:06.500 What does America's back actually look like?

00:18:10.980 And now after two years, he said.

00:18:12.940 Two years, you're back.

00:18:14.260 America's back.

00:18:15.320 There's nothing we're unable to overcome, Al.

00:18:17.840 There's nothing we're unable to undo, apparently, is, I think, the real phrase he was looking for.

00:18:28.920 So what else is on that list?

00:18:31.120 And I'd also add empty store shelves.

00:18:35.500 Supply chain issues.

00:18:37.900 I think a lot of those crunches have still a lot to do with the fact that, you know, government continues to meddle in everything.

00:18:45.200 If you look at what happened over the last couple of years, you always see the reporting.

00:18:50.540 Nowadays, well, because of the pandemic, because of the pandemic, you know, these jobs were impacted.

00:18:57.520 Why? Because of the pandemic, this happened.

00:18:59.140 Because of the pandemic, economically, that happened.

00:19:02.420 It's very similar to the reporting on what happened in Waukesha last weekend.

00:19:09.120 Now we're starting to see that apparently it wasn't a man who had some serious issues, was just out on bail, by the way.

00:19:19.380 What, a thousand bucks?

00:19:21.280 Long, long rap sheet.

00:19:23.000 Should never have been let out of jail.

00:19:24.900 Never. 0.98

00:19:26.280 He decides he's going to plow into a Christmas parade, run people down, killing innocent children.

00:19:33.020 And they want to run these reports to say that the SUV did it.

00:19:43.460 The SUV, and there was an accident that happened.

00:19:47.860 So it's very similar.

00:19:50.100 We don't call it like it is.

00:19:51.960 And the truth is, it wasn't the pandemic that caused all this chaos nationwide.

00:19:55.920 It was government overreach.

00:20:00.180 It was the folks in the Build Back Better clan over here that caused these issues.

00:20:05.780 Our governor here in Michigan shut businesses down.

00:20:08.060 This time last year, you couldn't go into a restaurant.

00:20:10.720 They had restaurants outside.

00:20:12.700 You could go and sit in a tent outside, but you couldn't go inside.

00:20:16.200 So the outside was inside.

00:20:17.360 You could be inside-outside as long as you just weren't inside.

00:20:21.060 She had crazy rules. 0.97

00:20:22.240 You could go out to certain stores, big chain stores, but not mom and pops, because we all know that that's where the virus spreads.

00:20:28.940 You could buy certain things when you're in those stores, but you couldn't buy, you know, like paint.

00:20:35.940 The pot stores were open.

00:20:37.380 You want an abortion? 1.00

00:20:38.260 Go get it!

00:20:41.960 It was the people and the response or the overreaction that caused these issues and continue to do so.

00:20:48.300 So the empty store shelves, I don't know when they clear up.

00:20:52.580 I don't know when that happens.

00:20:53.260 We are starting to see some movement there, but I just don't know.

00:20:56.580 Gas prices?

00:20:57.880 Have you seen the gas prices?

00:20:59.340 Through the roof! 0.90

00:21:00.800 And then he goes and releases what this strategic supply that we've got.

00:21:05.740 And this thing is only making matters worse.

00:21:08.420 So Biden says he's America's back, and we are, folks, things are better than ever.

00:21:20.440 All as he sits in a compound owned by a billionaire friend on the island of Nantucket.

00:21:28.520 Let them eat cake.

00:21:30.660 Let them eat cake, he says.

00:21:32.640 Well, folks, we're just barely starting to scratch the truth.

00:21:39.520 We'll get to more of it.

00:21:40.480 And why is this all happening?

00:23:39.840 And then I can send you stuff as well.

00:23:41.400 Here's that number.

00:23:43.240 Area code 616-201-3353.

00:23:48.980 That's 616-201-3353.

00:23:54.360 I'd love to hear from you.

00:23:56.000 But again, all of this as the resident himself.

00:24:00.700 Biden says yesterday, America is back, baby.

00:24:04.300 Two years.

00:24:04.900 And here we go.

00:24:05.380 He was with Al Roker, a guest on the phone, as Al was on the parade route there yesterday.

00:24:12.520 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

00:24:14.060 Two years, you're back.

00:24:14.940 America is back.

00:24:15.980 There's nothing we're unable to overcome, Al.

00:24:18.580 And you're one of the reasons for that, pal.

00:24:20.440 You're always up.

00:24:21.280 You're always rooting.

00:24:22.920 Well, we appreciate it, Mr. President.

00:24:25.060 Thank you so much.

00:24:25.980 I hope you're going to continue to watch the parade.

00:24:28.040 Santa is coming.

00:24:29.320 Santa is coming, Mr. President.

00:24:31.640 I'm waiting for Santa.

00:24:33.380 All right.

00:24:34.340 Well, listen, happy Thanksgiving to both of you.

00:24:36.720 From our family to yours, thank you, thank you, and happy Thanksgiving.

00:24:40.500 Wish you were there with you, Al.

00:24:41.520 Nice to see you, pal.

00:24:42.660 Can you imagine?

00:24:43.480 Is Santa coming?

00:24:44.240 Is Santa going to bring gas prices back now?

00:24:50.540 Maybe Trumpy Claus could do that.

00:24:52.300 Maybe DeSantis Claus could do that. 0.97

00:24:56.000 Maybe anybody with half a brain could do that. 0.97

00:24:59.940 But it's not just incompetence. 0.84

00:25:02.960 Because I look at this quite often.

00:25:05.400 I don't know about you, but I have this discussion in my head that goes back.

00:25:08.320 It's this pure incompetence at a level which we've never seen before.

00:25:13.800 Or is there something more going on here?

00:25:17.640 Is it intentional?

00:25:24.140 That's something to think about.

00:25:25.380 Our next guest here, James Simpson, an author.

00:25:28.820 You've heard him on the Glenn Beck program before.

00:25:30.340 And I just wanted to have him back on to talk about some of the things that we're seeing

00:25:33.480 and why they may be happening and what's really happening behind the scenes here.

00:25:39.520 He's the author of Who Was Karl Marx?

00:25:42.160 The Men, the Motives, and the Menace behind today's rampaging American left. 0.57

00:25:47.940 Mr. Simpson, thanks for joining us today.

00:25:50.720 I appreciate you being here with us.

00:25:52.900 Hey, Justin.

00:25:53.940 Happy Thanksgiving.

00:25:54.920 Great to be with you.

00:25:55.700 Thanks for having me.

00:25:57.220 Hey, you too, my friend.

00:25:58.040 Yeah, he's just looking at this list of what America being back means.

00:26:01.520 And apparently that's the stock market taking a big hit this morning.

00:26:06.060 It's down because, well, they say they're afraid of this new COVID variant.

00:26:11.100 That's part of it.

00:26:11.980 I'm sure it has nothing to do with all the rest of the chaos that we're seeing.

00:26:15.480 More people dead from COVID this year than last, even though we have jabs. 0.99

00:26:19.280 Those jabs look like the efficacy is questionable.

00:26:24.060 So you've got to continue to get them every couple of months, it looks like.

00:26:28.260 For now, at least.

00:26:29.140 Empty store shelves, gas prices through the roof, people forced out of work because no jab, no job.

00:26:36.080 That's just, I'm barely scratching the list here.

00:26:39.820 But the debacle that took place in Afghanistan, the fact that we continue to look weak on the world stage. 0.71

00:26:47.460 James, I don't have time to go through the whole list here.

00:26:51.480 But is this intentional?

00:26:55.260 Yeah, it absolutely is.

00:26:57.380 It's unmistakable that it's intentional, in fact. 0.96

00:27:00.480 Even though, you know, Joe Biden is really mentally challenged. 0.51

00:27:07.220 I mean, he proved it in just that little short statement where he mumbled his words. 0.96

00:27:13.240 You know, communist China is his Santa Claus. 0.93

00:27:16.600 And they have paid him and his son enormous amounts of money, and he is now doing their bidding.

00:27:24.400 But the entire agenda of the left, and he is hard left.

00:27:31.740 He may not actually be a communist, but he has been doing the bidding of our enemies since he was elected many decades ago.

00:27:42.420 He was put into office by an organization called the Council for a Livable World, which was founded by a guy named Leo Szilard, who was a Manhattan Project scientist.

00:27:56.800 And the Soviets called him their most reliable source for information on the atomic bomb.

00:28:03.660 So, in other words, he was committing treason.

00:28:05.700 And he founded this anti-nuclear organization to put up people to run for office to do their bidding.

00:28:18.700 And Joe Biden has always voted with the Soviets in the Senate.

00:28:22.820 And, I mean, it's really stunning that he gets away with being considered a moderate, which he is nothing of the sort.

00:28:30.780 He's really just basically somebody who is so unethical that he's willing to, you know, work for the highest bidder.

00:28:41.000 And the highest bidder over the last few years has been the communist Chinese, and he's been doing their bidding. 1.00

00:28:46.660 But the overall issue was the left has always, their goal has always been to destroy our country.

00:28:56.100 They have always worked with our enemies.

00:28:59.020 And this is deliberate, deliberate, manufactured crisis.

00:29:05.320 And, in fact, in my book, who was Karl Marx, I have a whole chapter on orchestrated crisis where the goal,

00:29:14.640 and, in fact, that was what Glenn Beck first discovered, my work on the crisis strategy back in 2009.

00:29:26.300 And he did a series of shows based on the research largely, well, a lot of it anyway, that I provided through my writing.

00:29:34.580 And it's all about overwhelming the system with problems, creating fractures in society, just deluging us with problems.

00:29:47.020 They started with welfare, but now it is in everything they do, the border, swamping the border, all the chaos, all the legal chaos, letting people out of jails, no bond.

00:30:00.400 All of these things are designed to create chaos, uncertainty in our country, all of it.

00:30:09.120 And he is leading the parade right now.

00:30:12.560 James Simpson's with us right now, Arthur.

00:30:14.580 And let me ask you, because you particularly mentioned this bail reform issue and some of these things that we've been hearing about.

00:30:23.500 But the man who drove that SUV, I know that CNN and MSNBC and the rest of them point you to think that the SUV was responsible for the killing there in Waukesha.

00:30:34.580 But the man who was behind the wheel should have actually been in jail.

00:30:39.740 And there's great conversation about that.

00:30:42.560 Apparently, he was out on a $1,000 bail.

00:30:44.740 He's got a lengthy rap sheet.

00:30:47.320 But this notion of this bail reform, this is nothing new, is it?

00:30:53.460 I mean, this is part of the intention, the crisis.

00:30:57.360 Yeah, no, it absolutely is.

00:30:59.800 And, I mean, he was out on bail after trying to run over his girlfriend, you know, so take a cue there.

00:31:10.820 All of that.

00:31:11.860 I mean, you know, we're seeing now district attorneys around the country, the most prominent of whom is Chesa Boudin, San Francisco DA.

00:31:21.300 He's the guy who can be credited with turning San Francisco into, pardon the expression, poop city. 0.98

00:31:32.120 You know, he led the charge on the letting people out of jail, zero bail.

00:31:40.860 Well, he is the adopted son of weather underground terrorist Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dorn.

00:31:47.920 His mother, Kathy Boudin, and his father went to prison for murdering a prison, murdering a either a police.

00:31:59.860 One of the three men killed in the Nyack, New York, Brinks robbery in 1980 or 81, I forget what year it was.

00:32:10.540 And they were doing life.

00:32:12.100 They both got out early.

00:32:14.000 Kathy Boudin now teaches at Columbia.

00:32:16.360 But Chesa Boudin's a communist just like them. 1.00

00:32:21.380 Before he was San Francisco DA, he was an advisor to Hugo Chavez in Venezuela.

00:32:32.920 And so these people, their goal is to do whatever they can to disrupt, divide us.

00:32:42.200 It's a divide and conquer strategy.

00:32:43.840 It's really a military strategy to overthrow our country.

00:32:47.880 That's how you have to look at it.

00:32:50.000 So it's no wonder, James Simpson, the author of Who Was Karl Marx?

00:32:54.320 The Man, the Motives, and the Menace Behind Today's Rampaging American Left.

00:32:58.140 It's so weird why we constantly feel divided and are divided by folks in the military, politicians, or not military, but media, politicians.

00:33:10.320 It's actually military now because we've got Millie out there saying, I want to know about white rage.

00:33:16.900 So, I mean, it's coming at us from every angle.

00:33:21.180 And, again, as I mentioned, you know, this is either another level of sheer incompetence or it's intentional.

00:33:27.480 And, James, you're saying it is.

00:33:29.100 This is coming from people who hate America and want a revolution.

00:33:34.340 Is that what I'm hearing?

00:33:36.400 Yeah, no, that's exactly right.

00:33:38.380 And the most stunning thing about it is they don't want the revolution.

00:33:44.040 They want us to launch the revolution because that way they will have the pretext to clamp down.

00:33:51.840 And, you know, Obama began purging good people from the military the minute he got into power.

00:33:58.520 And he spent eight years replacing good people with really, really bad people.

00:34:04.860 And in particular, I hate to say this, but, you know, the gay rights and transgender rights issue, you know, now permeates the military.

00:34:14.540 And now why did they do that?

00:34:15.980 Do they really care about gay rights or transgender rights or any kind of rights?

00:34:19.820 No. What they have done is put – and I, you know, I can't – don't take me to say that I think everybody who's gay and joins the military hates America.

00:34:35.260 But the fact of the matter is that a lot of them do, and they have said so.

00:34:39.860 They would be more than willing to shoot Americans, which is not something that was true of the military 10, 15, 20 years ago.

00:34:49.820 And so they are literally corrupting and sabotaging our military, and it also affects good order, morale, and discipline.

00:35:03.340 And so people in the military are really demoralized.

00:35:07.740 I had the opportunity to meet Matthew Lohmeyer last week, who wrote the book about how he was fired from the Air Force.

00:35:17.920 He was an instructor fighter pilot, and he was fired from the Air Force because he raised the issue with his superiors that they were teaching Marxism in the Air Force.

00:35:31.260 And he was fired, and, you know, so that kind of thing just demoralizes the ranks, this forcing people to take the shot.

00:35:44.000 It is an effort to push out people who don't want to take the shot, who, as you and I, I think, understand, are much more likely to be on the conservative side than the liberal side.

00:35:57.840 And so he's deliberately sabotaging and weakening the military and, honestly, setting us up for attack.

00:36:08.800 Because when our enemies see us in this degraded state where our economy is also being sabotaged, it just astounds me that he talks about how we're back.

00:36:22.920 And it's just amazing.

00:36:25.080 The stock market is really worried.

00:36:29.100 That's why the stock market's been going up and down.

00:36:31.200 It can't make up its mind about Joe Biden.

00:36:34.140 And I think pretty soon here on it's going to finally say, uh-oh, now we know who this guy is, and you're going to see the stock market go down.

00:36:43.660 But the whole thing is to weaken us at every aspect, divide us, and hopefully provoke us into a genuine insurrection so that they can then have the pretext to clamp down and silence us.

00:37:01.340 All right.

00:37:01.640 So, James, hang on to that thought, because I think this is maybe the most important part.

00:37:07.300 Because as things continue to get worse, you kind of wonder to yourself, can it get worse?

00:37:12.720 And I guess the answer is yes, and it will.

00:37:15.140 It can always get worse, yeah.

00:37:17.300 Especially if it's by design.

00:37:18.840 James Simpson, the author of Who Was Karl Marx?

00:37:20.520 Hang on if you can with us.

00:37:22.020 Through the break, we'll come back.

00:37:23.080 I want to talk about it because we talked about the problems.

00:37:24.680 But I want to get into solutions.

00:37:26.360 Justin Barkley in for Glenn Beck today on the Glenn Beck Program.

00:37:28.740 We're back right after this.

00:37:32.300 The Glenn Beck Program.

00:37:37.300 The Glenn Beck Program.

00:38:07.300 Miller Connected, where America was attacked on foot, from the Pentagon to Shanksville to downtown Manhattan, where he retraced his brother's footsteps on 9-11.

00:38:17.300 Thanks to your support, Towers of Light returned to the Pentagon and Shanksville Memorials again this year.

00:38:23.060 For the first time, our country recognized the people we lost to 9-11-related illness through the Foundation's ceremony.

00:38:30.840 And another first is planned for Veterans Day.

00:38:33.360 Those lost in the War on Terror are having their names read aloud.

00:38:37.300 Honor our vow to never forget.

00:38:39.680 Donate $11 a month at T2T.org.

00:38:42.900 That's T, the number 2, T, dot org.

00:38:46.020 All right, so it seems as though we're jumping from crisis to crisis, one emergency to the next.

00:39:07.620 As James Simpson author says, James Simpson author says, that's intentional.

00:39:11.360 It's because they're trying to force us into something.

00:39:15.540 What should or shouldn't we do?

00:39:17.800 I know we only got 30 seconds here or so, but I think this may be the most important part for us to hear today, James.

00:39:23.360 My answer, stand up and say no.

00:39:30.620 That's what we have to do.

00:39:32.700 And as more people willing to risk standing up come out, more people will be encouraged by that.

00:39:42.400 What does that look like, though?

00:39:44.920 Yeah, what does stand up look like?

00:39:46.460 Because you said they're trying to force us into a revolution.

00:39:49.840 The best example recently are the 12 jurors in the Rittenhouse trial who stood up to the mob and said no.

00:40:00.520 They looked at the evidence and it was crystal clear that this was self-defense.

00:40:05.220 For them to decide anything else would have been to rule of the mob, we have to stand up and say no.

00:40:14.260 There's 17 pages in my book describing specifics of how we can do that.

00:40:19.520 Lawfully, peacefully, James Simpson, I appreciate that.

00:40:23.860 Who was Karl Marx, the name of the book?

00:43:15.760 Well, I hope you had a great holiday eating dry turkey and overcooked stuffing on stolen land yesterday.

00:43:28.460 That according to the Twitter account of Black Lives Matter.

00:43:33.500 Verified on Twitter, by the way.

00:43:36.080 I know I did, and now I'm geared up for a fun capitalist Black Friday.

00:43:43.340 That ought to drive him even batty.

00:43:44.960 A bad ear.

00:43:46.240 But we'll get into all of that and some of the wild things that are happening.

00:43:50.040 You've been hearing the crises after crises, one after another.

00:43:55.800 Intentional?

00:43:56.780 Yes.

00:43:57.920 And what's happening in the schools is even more concerning.

00:44:02.480 We'll talk about the latest.

00:44:03.940 A Michigan teacher resigning over a pride flag.

00:44:08.100 But it's not what you think.

00:44:09.340 There's some good news baked in.

00:44:11.620 And we'll talk about it after this.

00:44:14.660 It's Justin Barkley.

00:44:15.640 And for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck Program.

00:44:20.940 The Glenn Beck Program.

00:44:22.560 Every day in this country, the left is doing its best to make sure the next generation of kids, that's your kids, your grandkids, that they don't know where they came from.

00:44:34.840 They don't understand liberty and American exceptionalism.

00:44:37.780 That's what we are fighting every single day.

00:44:39.840 The left's bad ideas with the good ideas.

00:44:43.220 But who's teaching the good ideas?

00:44:44.840 This is precisely what the Tuttle Twins books do.

00:44:47.740 They teach your kids and your grandkids about American values in a fun and interesting way.

00:44:52.800 The books are incredibly important to share with your kids or your grandkids.

00:44:56.480 You can even read them yourself while you're at it.

00:44:58.340 I've learned a few things.

00:45:00.160 The Tuttle Twins books.

00:45:01.440 I love them.

00:45:02.360 My kids love them.

00:45:24.800 I've always, or have been at least for the last few years, a little twisted, a little conflicted on this holiday and others like Columbus Day, for example.

00:45:53.380 I was adopted growing up, and I found out a couple of years back that I have some Native American heritage.

00:46:03.540 I have some Native American blood in me, in fact.

00:46:07.200 Not enough to get a check.

00:46:10.600 But, you know, I find it interesting.

00:46:12.560 So I dig into some of this.

00:46:14.780 And there's one particularly that's apparently a chief in my history somewhere back in the family tree in Alabama, Cherokee, something.

00:46:24.220 I don't know enough about it to talk at any sort of length of intelligibility on it.

00:46:30.060 But I found that to be kind of interesting.

00:46:31.780 So when people, like, you know, the Black Lives Matter Twitter account comes out with this posting about the dry turkey, the overcooked stuffing on stolen land, I think to myself, well, whose land was it before they got there? 0.81

00:46:49.440 Because these folks, indigenous, I mean, they were moving around, and there was, in fact, other tribes that they were in conflict with at some point in time over that land.

00:47:12.260 And so I guess all land would be stolen at some point.

00:47:23.260 It's really crazy to me.

00:47:25.460 I think the biggest problem we have is we focus on the wrong things.

00:47:30.500 Let me give you an example.

00:47:31.860 I just saw this this morning.

00:47:33.100 I thought, oh, my goodness.

00:47:35.400 Here we go again.

00:47:36.800 Go woke, go broke, by the way.

00:47:38.280 And this is particularly disturbing because it's a great organization that does a lot of good.

00:47:44.100 But the news is this morning that the Salvation Army, according to the Daily Wire, the story I'm reading here, wants white donors to, quote, offer sincere apology for their racism.

00:47:56.880 This is just as crazy as now.

00:48:02.700 Am I having to struggle with, you know, the fact that is the white side of me the problem or the or the indigenous side of me? 0.59

00:48:10.360 Or I didn't even know that I had any of this until, you know, maybe I at one point now I start to sort of figure this out.

00:48:17.020 And with kids, I've heard stories about kids in schools that are going through the CRT or the DEI, whatever they call it, a critical racist theory.

00:48:24.700 Or die.

00:48:28.120 I'll call it that.

00:48:29.260 Diversity, equity, inclusion, whatever they call it.

00:48:31.040 They're constantly looking for different names because they want to keep parents on their toes.

00:48:35.420 Again, intentional.

00:48:36.520 But they're indoctrinating the kids.

00:48:39.940 And so there are stories that I've heard about kids that will come home and one parent's white, one parent's black.

00:48:46.200 And these kids are melting down because they don't know what to think.

00:48:50.160 And they're completely confused by all of this.

00:48:54.700 Divide and conquer again. 0.97

00:48:59.500 Is, you know, daddy's white and mommy's black and is daddy evil and racist? 0.99

00:49:07.140 Is he oppressing mommy? 0.85

00:49:08.340 It just, you cannot, no one ever wins in this hierarchy of this woke-ness.

00:49:21.040 So the Salvation Army, again, I think is falling hook, line, and sinker for the charity is asking its white donors to do more than just drop some coins into the kettle, they say. 0.57

00:49:30.780 Leaders of the Army want whites to apologize for being racist.

00:49:36.920 Here's the quote they say.

00:49:38.060 The desire is that salvation is to achieve the following, the Army says.

00:49:41.260 An online resource titled Let's Talk About Racism listing several goals, including to lament, repent, and apologize for biases or racist ideologies held and actions committed.

00:49:55.460 The resource claims Christianity is inherently racist and calls for white Christians to repent and offer a sincere apology.

00:50:05.560 Whoever wrote this and whoever allowed this to go out from the Salvation Army is purely evil.

00:50:15.440 Well, this can't be a mistake.

00:50:19.580 If it is, boy, I hope they repent.

00:50:24.060 To say that Christianity is inherently racist?

00:50:30.720 I mean, it's a religion that's really based on a man of color.

00:50:41.660 Jesus, a Jew. 0.99

00:50:43.200 That the folks who are of that religion worship.

00:50:51.840 There's no logic to any of this.

00:50:56.760 Furthermore, if we break this down, the CRT, the wokeism, etc.

00:51:01.720 I think Christians are especially vulnerable to this because you want to do the right thing.

00:51:14.620 You want to be kind.

00:51:15.540 You want to be nice.

00:51:21.080 But they're all too often, I think, being led astray.

00:51:25.180 How am I supposed to repent for the sins of the white man or my ancestors?

00:51:33.720 I can't barely, you know, really handle what I'm dealing with on a daily basis.

00:51:40.740 That's why I've got to give it to God.

00:51:46.020 In fact, in my religion, that's why it says in my faith that Christ died for me and my sins.

00:51:50.820 You too.

00:51:51.400 It is that redemption that these folks miss.

00:52:01.660 The price has already been paid.

00:52:06.960 The battle's been won.

00:52:09.300 And it's just sad to see that Salvation Army, a great organization that has done so much work in the past, powerful work, made such an impact, would be led astray.

00:52:21.600 But this go woke, go broke, infects everybody.

00:52:29.980 Well, there's some interesting news.

00:52:33.200 The word sex offender, they say, is to be replaced by adults who commit sexual offenses in Colorado.

00:52:42.740 Wouldn't want to offend anyone.

00:52:45.220 Just like the man who drove into that parade at Christmas.

00:52:50.620 Because now the media organizations are saying that his SUV was responsible for that, that he wasn't.

00:52:59.900 So let me get this straight.

00:53:01.560 I'm not responsible for what my SUV does.

00:53:07.580 I'm not responsible for myself, but I'm responsible for the fact that slavery was a thing in this country at one point.

00:53:15.280 Despite the fact that we were one of the first countries to say, hey, do we stand up?

00:53:18.800 No, we don't want this anymore.

00:53:20.620 To throw it off.

00:53:23.360 Slavery's still happening throughout the world in a lot of places.

00:53:25.780 We don't talk about that, though.

00:53:26.840 We talk about what happened here hundreds of years ago.

00:53:30.100 Because we focus on the wrong thing.

00:53:32.560 You know, it's interesting because yesterday is such a big holiday, Thanksgiving.

00:53:36.040 I think it's so important for us.

00:53:38.460 We often miss the boat.

00:53:39.760 You know, the Bible says, enter his gates with thanksgiving and praise.

00:53:45.380 But I think the power of gratitude, focusing on what's good.

00:53:51.540 Focusing on what's right.

00:53:54.100 Instead of spending all of our time focusing on maybe a piece of negative.

00:53:59.100 Or maybe something that isn't so perfect in our world.

00:54:04.160 Do we have issues?

00:54:04.960 Of course.

00:54:05.860 We're human.

00:54:06.640 We're always going to have issues.

00:54:08.960 But we live in the best country in the history of the world.

00:54:12.120 We enjoy freedom.

00:54:16.760 We enjoy lifestyle.

00:54:19.740 We enjoy a really an amazing amount of abundance and prosperity that's never, never before been enjoyed.

00:54:33.380 And I think it all has to do with our founding in this country.

00:54:41.400 I think it all has to do with the relationship of faith that those folks had.

00:54:57.540 Even back years ago when they came on the Mayflower with their creator.

00:55:03.380 Lots of folks had talked about this.

00:55:09.320 But I will tell you that it's no mistake.

00:55:14.480 It is by intention that this nation is great.

00:55:19.560 And it is by intention that the attempt to dismantle it piece by piece is happening all around us today.

00:55:28.180 Specifically in schools.

00:55:29.460 In fact, I had an opportunity to sit down and hear somebody speak on what's happening in our schools right now.

00:55:38.740 If you've got kids in schools or grandkids in schools, you're going to want to hear what she has to say.

00:55:43.940 Because what she said I'd never heard before.

00:55:45.740 I thought I'd heard it all.

00:55:46.780 But I'd never heard this.

00:55:49.620 Coming up, our next guest shines a light on some of the just wild things that are happening with your kids in our schools after this.

00:55:59.520 It's Justin Barkley in for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck Program.

00:56:01.740 The holidays are right around the corner.

00:57:04.860 OmahaSteaks.com.

00:57:05.880 Keyword Beck.

00:57:06.420 Well, it's happening in our schools, right under our noses.

00:57:21.920 Parents, some of the things that I heard most recently are just so sad and, quite frankly, disgusting.

00:57:33.940 You won't want to miss this, our next guest.

00:57:38.720 But first, right here in Michigan, this story broke the other day, and the media is treating this man like he's a martyr.

00:57:43.880 He's resigned over a pride flag in his room.

00:57:48.140 But that's because he was told to take it down.

00:57:51.940 Yes, parents, you're winning.

00:57:56.280 Officials at the school and administration told him and everyone else to take their flags down because they had challenges, legal challenges,

00:58:01.760 from parents saying, wait a minute, why are you pushing politics in class?

00:58:10.920 Skip the politics.

00:58:12.160 Let's stick with arithmetic or whatever subject you're supposed to teach.

00:58:16.120 This man took to some sort of social media and made this announcement.

00:58:21.440 After 10-plus years in education, I tendered my resignation today, drove home for the last time, and won't be returning.

00:58:30.140 I was already feeling a high level of teacher burnout and struggling to meet the day-to-day demands of the education field.

00:58:36.800 But when administration came around and told me I had to take down my pride flag, I told them, no, I was not going to be an active participant in the suppression and oppression of an already marginalized group that I'm a part of.

00:58:52.840 This is Russell Ball, 33-year-old phys ed and health teacher.

00:58:57.300 Now, my health teacher was teaching sex ed, too.

00:59:00.000 So I think that's probably the case here, and I think it's important to the situation.

00:59:07.520 This individual says he's bisexual, and that's why he was displaying that flag in class. 0.99

00:59:16.360 I don't really think that politics have any place in that classroom, specifically your politics of what you do in the bed.

00:59:26.320 You do what you want to do, but at the end of the day, I don't think we need to talk to our kids about that.

00:59:31.020 In fact, I don't think you need to be talking to my kids about any of that.

00:59:35.540 But they are, and so much more.

00:59:38.480 And what I heard really disturbed me less than a month ago.

00:59:41.800 Abby Johnson joins us right now. 0.98

00:59:44.440 Abby, they made a movie about her experience.

00:59:47.060 You will know her.

00:59:48.320 Recognize her name.

00:59:49.100 The movie Unplanned is how she really went from one of the top Planned Parenthood officials at one point.

00:59:55.620 She is someone who has just drastically changed by her relationship with Christ and her faith.

01:00:00.160 Abby, thank you so much for being here with us today.

01:00:02.720 Yeah, of course.

01:00:03.600 Thanks for having me on.

01:00:05.680 So much we could talk about, but I really want you to sort of give you an opportunity to expose what's happening in the classrooms.

01:00:15.000 Because some of the things I heard you talk about, and it's been happening intentionally for quite a long time with Planned Parenthood and folks in the classrooms with your kids, it was so disturbing.

01:00:25.900 It blew me away when I heard you speak not too long ago here in Grand Rapids.

01:00:29.440 But what are our kids being taught?

01:00:32.440 Yeah, I mean, this has been going on a long time.

01:00:38.520 I worked at Planned Parenthood 12 years ago, and I started there 20 years ago.

01:00:46.220 So I worked there for eight years.

01:00:48.380 And this was happening, you know, the whole time that I was there.

01:00:51.880 So Planned Parenthood has been in the public education system, in many private schools for decades, and that is their purpose.

01:01:04.220 You know, they're not trying to get to people like me and you, right?

01:01:09.760 They figure that we've made up our minds about abortion, about, you know, these types of issues.

01:01:16.940 And so they're really not trying to get to us to convince us one way or the other.

01:01:22.860 They're trying to get to our kids, which sounds familiar, right?

01:01:29.980 That's exactly what Hitler did as well. 0.94

01:01:33.120 They go for the youth, and they try to brainwash the youth.

01:01:37.880 And so that's, I mean, that sounds like I'm being, you know, dramatic, but I'm not.

01:01:43.620 I mean, it's part of their business plan.

01:01:47.940 It works very successfully.

01:01:50.600 Planned Parenthood's education program begins in kindergarten.

01:01:54.100 Their sex education program begins in kindergarten.

01:01:58.680 Their first grade program has educators going into the classroom,

01:02:04.260 talking about various sexual positions with first graders using stuffed animals.

01:02:10.020 I was blown away by that when you were talking about what does this look like? 0.64

01:02:15.040 Because as you described them when you were speaking, you kind of showed that they take the stuffed animals

01:02:20.620 and they show them different things that, I mean, kindergartners, first graders,

01:02:26.020 they shouldn't be talking about any of this stuff.

01:02:29.200 No, they shouldn't be.

01:02:30.500 But they do it.

01:02:31.360 I mean, they do it for two reasons.

01:02:33.340 One, they do it to break down the natural modesty of children, right?

01:02:40.360 So all of us are born with a natural desire to protect our bodies and to protect our modesty.

01:02:50.720 Planned Parenthood and other, you know, sex education promoters,

01:02:57.180 they want to break down that natural modesty. 0.81

01:03:00.500 So they want to tell children that flaunting your body is okay, you know,

01:03:09.560 that you should be proud of your body.

01:03:11.960 That's what this body positivity trend is all about.

01:03:18.500 It's fine to traipse around in your underwear in front of people.

01:03:22.260 It's, you know, fine to do that.

01:03:25.340 And so that's sort of what they're teaching our children.

01:03:28.080 Number two, they do it because they want to break down the parent-child relationship.

01:03:33.680 Planned Parenthood says in all of their training materials that parents are a barrier to service.

01:03:41.400 So parents are a barrier to service. 0.58

01:03:44.700 So parents are the reason that children are not coming into Planned Parenthood centers

01:03:50.900 and getting contraception at 10, 11, 12 years old.

01:03:53.880 They're the reason that, you know, children aren't getting abortions, you know, as early as they want to.

01:04:00.200 So we need to break that parent-child relationship as early as we can.

01:04:05.480 And one way that we can do it is by getting in to the schools as early as possible.

01:04:11.180 Abby, hang on one second.

01:04:14.100 Trust us.

01:04:15.060 This is important.

01:04:16.400 Abby Johnson explains, coming up in here in just a little bit, how your child could be dropped off at school,

01:04:22.800 taken by one of those school employees to get an abortion,

01:04:26.100 and brought back home the next day.

01:04:28.400 You would have no idea.

01:04:29.680 Right after this.

01:05:42.780 888-727-BECK.

01:05:44.460 Welcome back in the Glenn Beck Program.

01:06:12.720 Justin Barkley in for Glenn today.

01:06:14.440 And Abby Johnson, she is the focus of that movie, Unplanned, that you probably saw.

01:06:21.720 And if you haven't, I would definitely say go out and see it.

01:06:23.560 But her story is incredible.

01:06:25.280 She used to want to be one of the highest folks in Planned Parenthood at one time until her entire perspective and position was changed. 0.90

01:06:33.620 And Abby will share a little bit more about that maybe here in a bit if we have time.

01:06:37.960 But the story about what's happening in the schools with the kids, what Planned Parenthood is doing,

01:06:43.000 and you're sharing it.

01:06:43.800 It really isn't unlike any other company, a strategy where they're going after, brands are going after consumers at a very, very young age to win them over from the childhood.

01:06:57.340 And that's what's happening in schools with Planned Parenthood.

01:07:00.420 You were a part of this.

01:07:02.520 And one of the things that really disturbed me the most is what they're teaching in the schools,

01:07:07.660 how they're grooming these kids to be customers of theirs,

01:07:11.300 and ultimately the fact that as parents, your child could be taken at some point by somebody that works at the school

01:07:21.360 to Planned Parenthood or another organization where they could have a surgical procedure done on them

01:07:27.260 that could lead to them losing their lives.

01:07:30.220 And you as a parent would have no idea about it.

01:07:33.760 Right.

01:07:34.200 Yeah, so, I mean, I can't say it's terribly uncommon, but so there's a lot of states that have really great laws on the books about parental consent.

01:07:47.120 And unfortunately, though, the Supreme Court ruled that any state that has any sort of parental notification,

01:07:52.760 parental consent laws on the books surrounding abortion,

01:07:55.360 they must also have something called judicial bypass in the law that states that a minor child can have an abortion without the parents knowing. 0.87

01:08:06.100 They just have to go in front of a judge, and that judge can essentially consent for the minor child to have an abortion without the parents knowing. 0.99

01:08:16.480 Wow.

01:08:16.880 And there are organizations set up in all the states that have parental consent laws that basically find judges that will just rubber stamp a court order

01:08:28.680 for a minor child to have an abortion without the parents knowing.

01:08:33.060 And so, like, in my state, in the state of Texas, the organization is called Jane's Due Process.

01:08:39.240 And so they just walk with a girl through the process.

01:08:42.420 The girl goes in front of a judge via Zoom. 1.00

01:08:44.840 They walk with her through that process.

01:08:47.040 They find a judge.

01:08:47.920 The judge rubber stamps it.

01:08:49.420 She goes in and gets the abortion. 1.00

01:08:51.380 And the sad part is that, you know, she can go to school one day, and the school counselor, the school nurse,

01:08:58.960 you drop her off at school thinking, oh, she's going to learn about math and science.

01:09:02.500 But really what's happening is the school nurse, the school counselor, whoever,

01:09:07.700 can take her from school that day to an abortion clinic, have a surgical abortion where the risk is possibly death,

01:09:15.440 she's going to sign that consent without you knowing, without your consent, and she's going to have that abortion procedure. 1.00

01:09:23.260 She's going to be brought back to the school.

01:09:25.340 You're going to pick her up at the end of the day, and you're not going to have any idea that your daughter just underwent a surgical procedure without your knowledge.

01:09:32.460 And that's legal in all 50 states.

01:09:35.500 So this is just something that I never realized.

01:09:39.820 And I think there's a lot of people that maybe don't realize what's happening in their schools and what's perfectly legal and that could take place.

01:09:48.460 So, Abby, I mean, number one, I wanted parents to be aware.

01:09:53.620 I think we know that things are really, I mean, especially the last couple of years, you've got to be, if your eyes are open,

01:10:00.800 you've got to be aware that crazy things are happening in schools with their kids.

01:10:04.160 But this just takes it to another level.

01:10:07.180 People are waking up.

01:10:08.800 Give us some of the hope and maybe some of the good news, the solutions here.

01:10:12.460 What should we be doing as parents?

01:10:14.300 What can we do?

01:10:15.140 Well, I mean, everybody's got to get Planned Parenthood and these sex education programs out of their school. 1.00

01:10:23.300 So, you know, parents have got to get involved.

01:10:26.880 And even if you don't have kids, I don't have, I don't have, I have eight kids.

01:10:31.080 None of my kids go to public school.

01:10:32.720 But that doesn't mean that I'm not at the school board meetings.

01:10:35.440 There are vulnerable kids in those schools.

01:10:38.000 And I feel like I have a responsibility, even if their parents aren't standing up for them,

01:10:42.680 I feel like I have a responsibility to go stand up for those kids.

01:10:46.040 So, you know, we all have a responsibility to be our brother's keeper.

01:10:49.900 We all have a responsibility to go and fight for those vulnerable kids that are still in those schools.

01:10:55.280 And so we need to know what's going on in the school system.

01:10:58.140 We need to be fighting for those vulnerable kids.

01:10:59.960 We need to get Planned Parenthood and these graphic sex education programs out of the public schools. 1.00

01:11:05.880 But that's going to take us showing up to the school board meetings,

01:11:09.160 showing up to the school health advisory committee meetings.

01:11:11.580 And we need good parents to run for school board positions. 0.92

01:11:16.660 We need to get these liberal maniacs out of school boards, off the school boards. 1.00

01:11:22.660 And we need good conservative parents.

01:11:24.640 Even if you don't have kids in the school,

01:11:27.100 we still need good conservative people on these school boards and in these school board positions.

01:11:33.600 These are things that seem, I mean, they just seem almost insurmountable.

01:11:39.820 They seem almost impossible.

01:11:41.020 One of the things I think, and my daughter, she's going to be a year here in the next couple of weeks. 0.96

01:11:45.860 And, you know, I just, we've been fighting.

01:11:48.980 She was born, you know, two months early.

01:11:52.060 She was born at 27 weeks and two pounds, six ounces when she was born.

01:11:57.100 And we've just seen God working miracles throughout the entire process.

01:12:00.260 So we've been fighting with her from the beginning, and we won't stop fighting.

01:12:03.980 I think as a parent, that's just a natural instinct.

01:12:06.520 But some of these things can seem overwhelming.

01:12:09.400 Yeah.

01:12:09.760 And I just want people to know about the hope that if we take some of these steps that we can make good things.

01:12:17.280 So we can make big things happen.

01:12:19.020 One of the stories you shared, Abby, and it was just, I think, something that we could all use right now in the season that we're in.

01:12:25.760 And maybe a little bit of hope is the story about this woman that went to get an abortion.

01:12:33.700 I think it was in New York.

01:12:35.100 And she walked into one of these places where a resource center where they were going to give, you know, resources and health care and all these different things to these moms that come in and inquiring. 0.97

01:12:47.240 And the outstanding happy ending that came out of this was nothing short of a miracle.

01:12:54.920 Yeah.

01:12:55.400 So I have a friend that works at a pregnancy center in New York, and this woman came in, and there's a late-term abortion clinic right next to this pregnancy center.

01:13:09.360 And this woman walked in to my friend's pregnancy center, and she put her hand up in my friend's face, and she said, 1.00

01:13:19.260 I don't want to hear about your God.

01:13:20.520 I don't want to hear about religion.

01:13:22.120 I want you to give me a free ultrasound so I know how far along I am in my pregnancy so I can go downstairs and have my abortion. 0.97

01:13:29.880 And so my friend was like, oh, man, okay.

01:13:32.880 So she took her back.

01:13:34.060 She was doing the ultrasound.

01:13:35.020 She was really praying, and she was like, Lord, you've got to give me something to say to this girl to sort of soften her heart.

01:13:42.380 And she kept feeling like the Lord was telling her to ask the woman, do you want to hold your baby's hand?

01:13:50.980 And she was like, what?

01:13:52.720 That doesn't make any sense.

01:13:53.860 So why would I ask her that?

01:13:56.080 But that's what the Lord kept putting on her heart.

01:13:59.040 And so finally she was like, do you want to hold your baby's hand?

01:14:03.380 And the girl was like, what?

01:14:04.620 And she said, I don't know.

01:14:06.080 I've just been praying for you, and that's what God keeps telling me to ask you.

01:14:09.100 And right then my friend felt very compelled to take this woman's hand and to put it on her abdomen. 0.50

01:14:14.900 And so she did.

01:14:17.180 And they both looked up at the monitor right then, and this 16-week-old baby reached her little hand up

01:14:24.280 and put it right at the top of her mother's womb, and it looked like they were holding hands on the screen.

01:14:28.920 And that woman, of course, chose life that day. 0.99

01:14:32.400 And, you know, I tell people all the time, I mean, of course, that was a huge miracle that happened that day

01:14:38.760 in that pregnancy resource center.

01:14:40.820 But there are miracles happening every day across the country in the more than 2,500 pregnancy resource centers across our nation.

01:14:49.720 There are miracles happening with those prayer warriors that are standing out in front of abortion clinics every day.

01:14:56.160 Women are turning around, choosing life for their babies. 1.00

01:14:58.780 You know, these women that had abortion appointments that are seeing people standing out in front of those clinics and saying,

01:15:04.080 you know what, I'm not going to choose abortion today.

01:15:07.340 You know, there's miracles happening.

01:15:08.660 I run a ministry for abortion clinic workers.

01:15:11.600 We've had over 600 abortion clinic workers walk out of their jobs and come into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ.

01:15:19.420 And that includes seven full-time abortion doctors.

01:15:23.380 So miracles are happening.

01:15:25.600 Conversions are happening.

01:15:27.300 We're seeing God move in a big way.

01:15:29.660 And just, you know, next week on December 1st, the Supreme Court opening arguments in front of the Supreme Court are going to be taking place.

01:15:37.840 And, you know, we may see Roe overturned this spring.

01:15:41.940 And so we all need to be in prayer and we all need to be doing our part in taking action.

01:15:47.780 Abby Johnson, you can go and find out more at abbyj.com, abbyjohnson.org websites where you can get more information and stay in touch.

01:15:58.900 One of the things that I think we always hear, Abby, before I let you go, is this argument from people, a lot of times from the left,

01:16:06.980 and they'll say things like, well, you know, they care about a child up until they're born and they don't really care about it afterwards.

01:16:13.680 So some of the things that I've learned about these organizations that are doing this work is the incredible things that they do behind the scenes to get women actual health care,

01:16:24.080 but also resources to take care of those babies.

01:16:26.800 And I've seen you post this on your Facebook page where there's something happening and you need some help for a specific woman out of the blue,

01:16:33.580 and then people just come out of the, like the flood works, just outpouring to help these women.

01:16:40.180 Yeah, yeah.

01:16:40.960 Yeah, I run a 24-hour crisis line called Love Line.

01:16:45.320 And if you ever encounter anybody, anybody that's listening, if you ever encounter anybody at a hotel or at a fast food restaurant,

01:16:53.380 anybody who's ever struggling, a single parent, single dad, single mom, woman who's pregnant, woman who's homeless,

01:16:59.920 and you see somebody who needs help, you can send them to loveline.com.

01:17:05.180 We're a crisis pregnancy line.

01:17:08.300 But we don't just help people who are pregnant. 0.95

01:17:10.100 We help anybody who's in crisis.

01:17:11.700 We've helped domestic violence survivors, anybody.

01:17:14.780 And, you know, we post registries for families.

01:17:18.020 We had a family whose house burned down.

01:17:19.560 We had to completely replenish a whole new house for them.

01:17:23.700 And really, Justin, we have, I mean, we post a registry, and within two hours, a registry of 200 items is completely filled.

01:17:31.360 I mean, you know, people, you know, the pro-abortion movement will say that, you know,

01:17:35.420 we're only here for babies after, you know, once they're born, and then we leave them.

01:17:40.020 But that's totally untrue.

01:17:41.520 And I've got to tell you, though, even if we were only here for babies, you know, up until they're born,

01:17:47.060 that's still more than the pro-abortion movement does.

01:17:49.300 But it's just totally untrue.

01:17:54.400 Well, thank you for all the good work, and thank you for everything you do.

01:17:58.700 And, Abby, thank you for sharing your story with everyone and the stories of what are happening.

01:18:03.860 I think you've given us some good solutions.

01:18:05.420 People are getting engaged.

01:18:06.440 They're getting involved now more than ever.

01:18:08.080 And I think that's sort of the, you know, the silver lining of what we've been through in the last couple of years

01:18:14.280 is that people are waking up, and now they've got sort of the marching orders of what to do next.

01:18:19.020 Abby Johnson, thank you so much for being here with us today.

01:18:22.000 Of course.

01:18:22.520 Thank you.

01:18:23.640 You got it.

01:18:24.800 AbbyJay.com, if you want to stay in touch with Abby and, of course, hear more.

01:18:29.020 The movie is incredible.

01:18:31.500 Time This Weekend, Unplanned is what it's called.

01:18:33.520 You can rent it and watch it.

01:18:36.360 It's just an amazing story.

01:18:38.020 But I think one that we all need to hear as we continue to feel hopeless and helpless at times,

01:18:45.180 that's part of, I think, the bigger picture of what we're facing.

01:18:50.260 I do think, as we talked about earlier in the program, all of these things, the series of crises,

01:18:59.600 one after the other, that we see happening on a daily basis all around us,

01:19:05.360 intentional and designed in such a way that I think really to bring down this country and our way of life,

01:19:14.760 one of the things they want us to feel is like we're hopeless, is like we're helpless.

01:19:25.220 But that's just not the truth.

01:19:28.180 We'll talk more about that coming up after this.

01:19:30.880 It's Justin Barkley in for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck Program.

01:19:35.540 The Glenn Beck Program.

01:19:47.900 Hey, parents, here's some good news for America's future.

01:19:51.760 Kids ages 5 to 11 are now eligible for a COVID vaccine.

01:19:55.600 That means all those future CEOs and artists, world-class chefs and sports stars,

01:20:01.380 the engineers and the innovators are eligible for a vaccine that can help protect their future.

01:20:06.880 And it's specifically formulated just for them.

01:20:10.240 Find vaccines near you at vaccines.gov.

01:20:13.700 Paid for by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

01:20:17.460 This year, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation is honoring heroes with 200 mortgage-free homes,

01:20:23.860 a never-forget walk, more than 500 miles through six states in 42 days,

01:20:29.900 culminating at Ground Zero on 9-11,

01:20:32.700 Towers of Light tributes,

01:20:34.360 a ceremony to read names aloud for those lost to 9-11 illness,

01:20:38.680 and names of all lost in the War on Terror are being read on Veterans Day.

01:20:43.680 Donate $11 a month at T2T.org.

01:20:47.460 You know, there is far more good happening in the world.

01:21:06.500 In fact, I believe you're just not hearing about it.

01:21:11.640 Here's part of a story that you probably didn't hear about.

01:21:13.640 You probably heard about the verdict and the trial for the three men convicted and murdered in the Ahmaud Arbery trial the other day.

01:21:22.760 But did you hear what his dad had to say?

01:21:25.800 The man who was killed.

01:21:27.720 This statement made right in front of Reverend Al Sharpton and Benjamin Crump moments after the verdict came out.

01:21:35.100 It's incredible.

01:21:38.340 What does he have to say?

01:21:40.960 It's something you're probably not hearing anywhere else.

01:21:44.580 The news didn't run this.

01:21:46.260 For real, all life matters.

01:21:47.940 All life.

01:21:48.340 Yes.

01:21:48.740 Not just black children. 0.95

01:21:49.740 We don't want to see nobody go through this. 0.95

01:21:51.440 I don't want to see no daddy watch a kid get latched and shot down like that.

01:21:55.520 That's right, Ma.

01:21:56.320 So it's all our problem.

01:21:58.060 It's all our problem.

01:21:59.600 So, hey, let's keep fighting.

01:22:02.960 Let's keep doing it and making this place a better place for all human beings.

01:22:06.540 Amen.

01:22:07.500 All human beings.

01:22:08.840 Amen.

01:22:09.420 Everybody.

01:22:10.780 Love everybody.

01:22:11.780 Love everybody.

01:22:12.440 Right, Ma.

01:22:12.980 All human beings need to be treated equally.

01:22:15.300 This is incredible because it's not the divisive narrative.

01:22:18.620 The mainstream not going to play that for you.

01:22:20.340 You won't see it on the nightly news with Lester Holt.

01:23:04.660 Not just problems.

01:23:05.720 I know there's plenty of those.

01:23:07.300 But we talk solutions.

01:25:31.980 What you are about to hear is the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment.

01:25:55.740 This is the Glenn Beck Program.

01:26:04.940 While we have been on this morning, the markets are in chaos.

01:26:13.440 There's a drop that has occurred.

01:26:15.940 Dow looks like down over 900 points right now.

01:26:19.680 They say it's because of this new dreaded variant.

01:26:24.920 Let's talk about that variant, what it means, where it's coming from, the latest in the news on that.

01:26:29.280 Plus a full Rona report.

01:26:31.200 We haven't spent a lot of time on this today, but there are stories that you're going to want to hear.

01:26:34.500 In fact, some of these you just may not hear anywhere else.

01:26:38.320 I'm glad you're here today.

01:27:52.180 Hey, welcome back in.

01:28:11.000 It is Justin Barclay in for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck program.

01:28:14.200 I am from Grand Rapids, Michigan, high atop the thriving metropolis, as we continue the Glenn Beck program today, the post-Thanksgiving edition.

01:28:23.820 And the numbers are incredible.

01:28:26.320 We're starting to see more.

01:28:28.480 We didn't talk about this too much earlier, but it's over 900 points down now, the Dow.

01:28:33.560 And a lot of this they're saying is because of uncertainty or speculation with what's happening in this new Rona variant.

01:28:47.160 Now, we have had several.

01:28:52.480 In fact, viruses are always virusing, the experts will tell you.

01:28:58.480 And they're always varianting.

01:29:04.600 And this is the latest.

01:29:05.780 We were told to dread the Delta variant.

01:29:11.480 Yes, we were told to be afraid.

01:29:14.360 To be very, very afraid.

01:29:19.220 Just when you thought it was safe to go back into society, right?

01:29:22.200 And we just got done with Thanksgiving, and now we've got, what, Christmas on the one?

01:29:25.280 Oh, you thought you could celebrate Christmas.

01:29:28.480 No, no, no.

01:29:29.980 So what is this new variant?

01:29:31.360 This is the coming out of South Africa. 0.96

01:29:37.300 And, of course, it's apparently.

01:29:41.940 We always hear this.

01:29:43.400 A variant of concern, right?

01:29:49.640 The market dropping sharply on Friday.

01:29:51.820 This is from CNBC here.

01:29:52.900 As a new COVID variant found in South Africa triggered a global shift away from the risk assets.

01:29:58.480 The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 900 points or 2.5%, while S&P 500 and NASDAQ composite slid 1.8% and 1.5% respectively.

01:30:09.260 Friday shortened trading day because of the Thanksgiving holiday, with U.S. markets closing at 1.

01:30:14.300 The downward move comes after the WHO.

01:30:21.520 Why are we still listening to any of these folks anyway?

01:30:23.800 I don't know.

01:30:25.080 Fauci in particular.

01:30:26.520 Why are we still listening to any of them?

01:30:32.780 The WHO officials on Thursdays warned of a new COVID-19 variant that's been detected in South Africa.

01:30:39.160 The new variant contains more mutations to the spike protein, the component of the virus that binds to cells, than the highly contagious Delta variant.

01:30:50.380 Because of these mutations, scientists fear it could have increased resistance to vaccines, though the WHO said further investigation is needed.

01:31:01.700 The UK temporarily suspending flights from six African countries due to the variant Israel barred travel to several nations after reporting one case and a traveler.

01:31:11.760 Two cases were identified in Hong Kong and Belgium also confirmed a case.

01:31:18.140 So the market's now in a bit of a chaotic front here.

01:31:26.500 Well, I can't wait.

01:31:28.420 And that means the weekend is coming.

01:31:31.500 And of course, you know, that means Fauci is going to be out there on all the shows.

01:31:35.020 And then Monday we'll have all the great Fauci video clips to play where he is contradicting himself and saying just the latest ridiculous things.

01:31:44.100 So that's, by the way, all of this, as the FDA says that it wants 55 years to process FOIA requests about the jabs, meaning data may not be available to the public conveniently until 2076.

01:32:08.080 I think we'll find out what really happened with JFK and UFOs and the rest of it before we actually find out what the data between the jabs here.

01:32:24.500 Portugal, one of the most vaccinated countries in the world, has declared a state of emergency and is imposing new restrictions to curb the sudden surge they're seeing.

01:32:35.500 This was a story even before we heard about this South African variant.

01:32:41.660 Now, I thought it was racist, by the way.

01:32:46.200 You remember, we couldn't call this the China virus because it comes from China.

01:32:56.220 That's not right.

01:32:57.340 Remember, remember, we can't call the China.

01:32:59.520 You certainly can't call it the Wu flu.

01:33:02.000 They will cancel you.

01:33:03.540 Because it's racist to put geographical areas related to where these things come.

01:33:10.140 It's racist to do that, apparently.

01:33:12.400 But now, all of a sudden, they're calling this the South Africa.

01:33:14.920 Is it just too new?

01:33:15.520 Is it because it's so new?

01:33:17.340 Because I thought, speaking of new, that's also a Greek letter in the alphabet.

01:33:21.600 They had all these letters lined up.

01:33:23.260 Did they run through them all?

01:33:24.780 Because we went from Delta to South Africa.

01:33:26.860 There's a bit of a disconnect here, folks.

01:33:31.180 And I'm not really sure what it is, other than maybe these Greek alphabet letters weren't scary enough for folks.

01:33:42.560 So at one point, I thought they were just going to go through the entire alphabet until they got to one that stuck and scared people sufficiently.

01:33:47.680 But that's where we are today.

01:33:50.580 We are now moving past that.

01:33:52.180 We're moving on to the South African variant.

01:33:54.060 So folks there in Portugal, one of the most vaccinated countries in the world, declaring state of emergency, imposing new restrictions.

01:34:00.640 Because with 99.2% of adults at least partially vaccinated, they're saying vaccine passports for major events, bars and clubs, as well as mask mandates for public transit.

01:34:15.560 Portugal has announced they have new restrictions, proving once again that I guess if you just follow the experts, you can end the pandemic, huh?

01:34:29.200 And this also comes as news is summer of 69, right?

01:34:34.920 He did that.

01:34:35.400 Brian Adams, isn't he the summer of 69 guy?

01:34:37.640 Brian Adams has tested positive for the Rona for the second time in a month.

01:34:50.020 Follow the science.

01:34:51.520 Apparently what happened here is after you test, you can still test positive for like, I don't know, months on end, even though you're not contagious and you're not actually sick with it, apparently.

01:35:03.640 So that brings in more question about the testing and all that you see.

01:35:09.480 By the way, it's not like anything's on the line here with people, like their livelihoods or life in general or economy.

01:35:16.180 Not like anything's hanging in the pallet.

01:35:17.840 So, you know, the accuracy of these tests.

01:35:24.820 Yeah.

01:35:28.700 California, Santa Cruz County.

01:35:33.640 It's any time.

01:35:36.840 See, they must have Fauci write this one up for them.

01:35:38.940 Any time in your California or California, it just, you know, I know that something crazy is coming.

01:35:44.620 They have now issued an indoor mask mandate for private homes.

01:35:55.540 Let me say that again.

01:35:56.500 In California, Santa Cruz County has now issued a mask mandate indoors for private homes.

01:36:08.420 No word on who exactly will be doing the policing of this.

01:36:12.200 But if you have anybody who lives outside of your home, apparently you are required to make them mask up.

01:36:19.920 Which is almost as crazy as the clip from CBS.

01:36:29.260 And I don't know if you saw this or not, but apparently getting ready for Thanksgiving, the folks at CBS had a bit of some advice for folks who were going to hold Thanksgiving gatherings.

01:36:46.060 I don't know how yours went.

01:36:47.440 Ours went really well, largely uneventful at all.

01:36:52.120 But they were telling people that they should test, kind of like Brian Adams, I guess, the winner of 21.

01:37:03.040 They should test you before you come into the Thanksgiving gallery.

01:37:06.040 Here's their advice.

01:37:07.040 It might be a difficult conversation before people step into your house to say, whoa, wait a minute.

01:37:11.360 Where's your card?

01:37:12.020 What's your status?

01:37:12.640 Where's your card?

01:37:13.240 This is tough because people are all over the map on this and they're also all over the map with their risk tolerance.

01:37:20.640 But the rapid tests have made this a lot easier.

01:37:23.940 Right.

01:37:24.220 Because whatever people's vaccination status is, we can actually confirm safety on the spot.

01:37:30.100 So if it feels like it's going to be weird, maybe make it kind of fun.

01:37:33.300 Say we're going to start with hors d'oeuvres in the garage.

01:37:35.820 What?

01:37:36.080 You know, we'll have drinks.

01:37:37.260 We'll do our rapid test and then come on in.

01:37:39.620 Right.

01:37:39.820 You can make it playful, make it fun. 0.87

01:37:42.120 Are they laughing because this is absolutely ridiculous or they like this idea? 0.79

01:37:46.260 By the way, the woman giving the advice. 0.97

01:37:49.160 Oh, she's a doctor.

01:37:50.300 All right.

01:37:50.600 She's a psychologist.

01:37:51.500 She's the one saying, hey, set up the testing before you had people.

01:37:57.960 And I don't know how your Thanksgiving went.

01:37:59.580 We didn't have to deal with any of that.

01:38:03.420 None of that, thankfully.

01:38:05.640 And all largely went off with it without a hitch.

01:38:08.080 Food was good.

01:38:08.840 Had a great time.

01:38:10.020 Enjoyed it.

01:38:10.560 And none of that to deal with.

01:38:14.980 By the way, before I'm done with his Rona report, I'll just tell you, New York Times reporting,

01:38:20.500 despite vaccines, this is their headline, by the way, the U.S. has lost more lives to COVID this year than last.

01:38:28.940 But as you know, yesterday, Biden said to Al Roker over the phone during the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade that everything's good because we're back.

01:38:39.000 And somebody who texted me earlier on my text line said, does it mean we're on our backs?

01:38:46.400 What is he saying exactly?

01:38:48.980 Great point.

01:38:50.020 Well taken.

01:38:51.020 The higher death toll, the New York Times says, attributed to lower than needed vaccination rates.

01:38:56.520 And the relaxation of everyday precautions amid a rise of the highly contagious self.

01:39:01.100 You've done everything we've asked you to do.

01:39:03.560 And it's still not enough because it never will be.

01:39:11.200 It's still your fault.

01:39:15.320 I do have good news.

01:39:16.860 Folks are standing up in a myriad of different ways.

01:39:19.240 In fact, we get to our next guest who shares what parents are doing all across the country.

01:39:24.720 In fact, some of those parents who stood up in Virginia to take their kids' schools back.

01:39:31.060 We'll share that next.

01:39:31.960 Next, Justin Barkley in for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck Program.

01:39:34.780 You've heard me talk about AMAC before.

01:39:40.240 You've heard me talk about the benefits and the advocacy efforts to save our nation.

01:39:45.340 But I want to remind you that AMAC is an incredible source of uncensored and reliable information that you can trust.

01:39:51.840 Their magazine, which all members receive, is reason enough to join.

01:39:55.420 But AMAC's website, which is updated constantly, gives you even more reason.

01:40:00.160 Their all-original content is written by a team of insightful, gifted writers.

01:40:09.820 The videos, the updates from Capitol Hill, they're all insightful information that you won't find anyplace else.

01:40:25.500 So join AMAC for the advocacy, the benefits, and the information.

01:40:32.820 Join amac.us slash beck now.

01:40:35.380 A-M-A-C dot U-S slash beck. 0.98

01:40:37.840 Hey, if you ever want to text me like I was just mentioning, feel free to do it.

01:40:56.420 I'm actually, while I'm on the air here, I will see and get your text messages.

01:41:00.620 And a lot of times you might have something to add to the show.

01:41:02.780 Maybe there's something that you want to add in, something that I missed, or maybe a story.

01:41:07.840 Something that I want to make sure we get to, by all means, text me.

01:41:12.900 The area code is 616-201-3353.

01:41:18.180 That's 616-201-3353.

01:41:21.840 One of the things I can share with you, in fact, is a story about folks who are standing up and making a difference.

01:41:28.880 It started here in Michigan, in fact.

01:41:30.500 There's a group of individuals concerned when we were going through the ringer here,

01:41:35.500 really at the height of the craziness with our governor.

01:41:37.840 And the shutdowns, like I said, she shut down certain stores but kept others open. 1.00

01:41:43.520 You could certainly get an abortion, but elective surgeries to save lives, she called them elective. 0.99

01:41:49.840 Removing cancer from the body of a friend of mine, that was elective.

01:41:55.100 But you could have an abortion. 1.00

01:42:00.060 The government picking winners and losers, and the governor here, Whitmer, in this case,

01:42:07.920 and also caught during this entire time, you know, breaking her own rules, kind of like Newsom out in California. 0.98

01:42:14.660 There are folks that decided, you know, this enough is enough.

01:42:19.660 And they started to stand up.

01:42:20.920 And, in fact, that's the name of their organization, Stand Up Michigan.

01:42:23.840 Ron Armstrong, one of the folks that co-founded that group, is with us right now.

01:42:29.280 I appreciate you being here with us today on the Glenn Beck program.

01:42:31.880 Morning, Ron.

01:42:33.340 Good morning.

01:42:34.280 Great to be here.

01:42:35.000 The reason I wanted to talk to you is Ron's a friend.

01:42:38.240 Obviously, I've had various conversations with him here in Michigan on Wood Radio, the station and the show that I host here locally.

01:42:46.760 But he's got some national connections.

01:42:49.300 This movement that started here, Ron, in fact, has trickled out all over.

01:42:54.400 And one of the places that it hit was Virginia.

01:42:57.820 We saw some pretty wild things happen with the last election of this new Republican governor there.

01:43:04.780 But also local levels, school boards, et cetera.

01:43:08.820 We've seen some big movements happening with parents at that ground level.

01:43:12.280 And I wanted to take a minute to just really recognize the good news of the things that are happening there.

01:43:17.660 But the role that maybe your organization, but also parents on the ground floor, are playing in these everyday victories.

01:43:26.580 So let's start with that.

01:43:27.700 I mean, you guys got off the ground and running and quickly spread like a virus all over the country in ways that folks in the Biden administration probably wouldn't like to see that happen.

01:43:39.280 Yes, we started Stand Up Michigan during the lockdowns here in Michigan, and we quickly grew to almost 400,000 members.

01:43:49.040 That was, of course, during the lockdowns.

01:43:50.820 And people were wondering, where can I get truthful information?

01:43:54.160 How do I get unemployment?

01:43:55.540 How do I take care of my kids?

01:43:56.580 How do I educate my kids?

01:43:57.740 And we really just allowed them to tell their stories and what is it you're going through and try to provide them with solutions, which is something that our government, especially our governors, were certainly not doing.

01:44:08.160 It was just stay home and wait to hear from me as to what we're going to allow you to do with your lives, your businesses, your kids, your schools, and so on.

01:44:15.540 And so over the course of 2020, of course, the message got out, and it spread around, and somewhere was in Virginia.

01:44:22.580 Stand Up Virginia was formed, and they have a website, StandUpVirginia.com.

01:44:26.520 They've done lots of amazing things, but one of the things was go all the way down to the local level and the Loudoun School systems and so on.

01:44:32.600 I'm sure many of your listeners had seen the Stand Up Virginia signs that were held up at those school board meetings.

01:44:40.800 But what we've seen now is it's one thing when you affect our lives individually or even our businesses to a certain point.

01:44:47.880 But when they've come for our children again this last fall, when they decided that we are going to first keep them out of school or we're going to have them in school in masks, we're going to now force vaccinations potentially on them.

01:45:00.740 That's when the parents said we've had enough.

01:45:03.080 And that's the point, obviously, we need to get to.

01:45:05.220 It's the question we've asked, I think, for the last 18 months is, what is it going to take for you to stand up and actually get involved?

01:45:12.720 It's not about political affiliation.

01:45:15.140 This is about freedom and liberty.

01:45:17.860 So let me ask you, Ron, because this is a part of the conversation that we've had, and a lot of people here might say that, Stand Up.

01:45:25.800 What does that mean?

01:45:26.780 I talked about this with a guest earlier today.

01:45:28.740 But, you know, his point was, look, a lot of the things that we're seeing are intentional.

01:45:33.320 He said, you know, they're trying to provoke us into some sort of conflict.

01:45:39.280 And he said, whatever we do, we've got to make sure.

01:45:41.800 He drew a parallel with the jury in the Kyle Rittenhouse case.

01:45:45.980 But he said that those 12 folks did, standing up to the mob and mob justice, what they did was standing up.

01:45:54.600 It was peaceful.

01:45:55.300 It was lawful.

01:45:56.160 So what does that look like for you and for folks that are listening?

01:45:59.380 Peaceful, lawful.

01:46:00.460 How do we stand up?

01:46:01.420 Well, the greatest thing we have in America is a republic, which means we have local governance and control.

01:46:08.360 Now we need to take that back because we've just been asleep for way too long.

01:46:12.600 So what we've seen here and what we pivoted to in 2021 is getting involved in local areas with local county chapters in order for you to get involved in your own school system, get involved in your own local government.

01:46:26.020 What you're going to find is they're filled with liberal progressives who are part of this game.

01:46:31.620 They either live in fear or they listen to just the left and they listen to this progressive agenda.

01:46:36.640 They're a part of this agenda.

01:46:38.600 And we have to become leaders.

01:46:40.320 We have to get involved.

01:46:41.960 We so often as conservatives have decided, you know, look, I'm running my business.

01:46:46.620 I'm taking care of my family.

01:46:47.820 I'm doing all these things.

01:46:48.920 I don't have time to get involved in local politics.

01:46:51.880 It's not politics.

01:46:53.040 It's actually changing and controlling your local community, which means whether it's your school board or it's your city council, county commission, whatever level you need to get involved in, you have to show up and you have to get involved.

01:47:06.620 Ron, hang on.

01:47:08.120 I want to give them some resources, some tools to do that, some ideas, some tips.

01:47:12.620 We'll do that after we get back right after this.

01:47:14.780 Barkley and for back on the Glenn Beck Program.

01:47:17.080 This is the Glenn Beck Program.

01:47:18.960 Every day in this country, the left is doing its best to make sure the next generation of kids, that's your kids, your grandkids, that they don't know where they came from.

01:47:30.620 They don't understand liberty and American exceptionalism.

01:47:33.560 That's what we are fighting every single day.

01:47:35.840 The left's bad ideas with the good ideas.

01:47:38.980 But who's teaching the good ideas?

01:47:40.520 This is precisely what the Tuttle Twins books do.

01:47:43.300 They teach your kids and your grandkids about American values in a fun and interesting way.

01:47:48.400 The books are incredibly important to share with your kids or your grandkids.

01:47:52.260 You can even read them yourself while you're at it.

01:47:54.220 I've learned a few things.

01:47:55.940 The Tuttle Twins books.

01:47:57.220 I love them.

01:47:58.200 My kids love them.

01:47:59.680 Grandkids love them.

01:48:01.000 Tuttle Twins having a Black Friday sale right now.

01:48:20.900 Doing our part to keep free speech alive.

01:48:24.300 There's much more after the break on the Glenn Beck Program.

01:48:27.540 You know, I...

01:48:57.520 I never really wanted to talk about politics.

01:49:04.300 In fact, it's just not one of my favorite topics.

01:49:11.380 But I have been working on the radio since I was in high school, doing all kinds of different formats, working for different radio stations all across the country.

01:49:24.760 And I found myself working in talk radio back in 2012.

01:49:30.860 And the things we talk about would be mostly the news of the day, things that were topical.

01:49:42.580 Just the average water cooler talk.

01:49:48.420 But times have changed.

01:49:54.140 And over the last almost two years now, what we talk about at that water cooler, in fact, whether we actually get to get together around a water cooler, has changed.

01:50:10.500 Everything has changed.

01:50:13.500 And so, while I don't necessarily relish the fact that we have to talk about politics.

01:50:24.400 I have to talk about politics.

01:50:28.980 I feel called.

01:50:30.480 The last couple of years, it's been the thing that I've had to talk about because...

01:50:40.480 I just felt called to be here through these things with the folks that I get a chance to talk with on a daily basis with my radio program and my podcast, etc.

01:50:54.400 I think we're all in that moment now.

01:51:03.140 I think we have most of us, if you're listening to this right now, you find yourself in the same position, the same predicament.

01:51:13.320 This is the same reason why this guy won in New Jersey, the truck driver who didn't really even want to run, but he felt like he had to.

01:51:25.400 We find ourselves, average, everyday folks, at a crossroads.

01:51:34.120 We either stand up now or we lose it all.

01:51:39.000 You think it's bad now.

01:51:42.800 Just wait to see how bad it could get.

01:51:47.160 And when I say that, I tell you all of these things just to tell you that that's why I'm standing up.

01:51:56.340 And that's how I'm standing up.

01:52:02.480 It would be easier to sell out and to not...

01:52:06.340 ...talk about some of these things and some of the...

01:52:11.340 ...issues of the day that are...

01:52:14.340 ...confrontational, controversial, whatever.

01:52:17.920 It'd be easier to do that.

01:52:19.080 And I'm sure I'd be more well-liked by certain folks in my industry and whatnot.

01:52:28.160 But I just couldn't sleep at night.

01:52:33.860 And so that's why I'm standing up.

01:52:36.140 And standing up can look as simple as sharing the stories that you just aren't hearing anywhere else that we share on a daily basis on the radio.

01:52:47.820 Glenn shares on this program.

01:52:49.080 I share on my local program.

01:52:50.140 Talking about these things together with each other, even around the turkey at the dinner table.

01:52:59.420 If there's a way to do that in your family.

01:53:03.120 To talk about the things that are maybe uncomfortable.

01:53:07.380 To share the stories that we share, whatever.

01:53:09.860 I mean, those could be very simple ways.

01:53:11.560 It could be looking like something even more detailed.

01:53:16.480 Running for office.

01:53:17.480 Regardless, those are some of the things that we were just talking about.

01:53:20.540 It's Justin Barkley back in for Glenn today in the Glenn Beck program.

01:53:23.380 And Ron Armstrong is one of the founders of the Stand Up Michigan organization.

01:53:27.740 They're starting to spread throughout the country.

01:53:29.160 Stand Up Virginia, etc.

01:53:30.380 And Ron, we were just talking about those things that people can do.

01:53:33.940 But you have people literally coming together in various different ways all throughout the country to get involved and engaged in the process.

01:53:41.020 To stand up in their own ways.

01:53:42.960 Whether it's running for office or making sure that they're involved in whatever is happening.

01:53:47.700 And specifically at a local level.

01:53:50.080 To make a difference and an impact.

01:53:52.140 Because if we don't do it now, who knows?

01:53:56.180 Where we'll be.

01:53:57.140 Well, we just don't have the choice any longer.

01:54:01.400 This is not the end.

01:54:02.520 Everybody thinks we were going to go back to some sort of normal.

01:54:05.100 But they took away our ability to free speech, freedom of religion, freedom of assembly.

01:54:09.840 And we all just stood by in the name of a so-called virus and watched it happen.

01:54:14.400 Now they want to give us back those freedoms a little bit at a time.

01:54:17.200 And we're supposed to be thankful for that.

01:54:19.240 But the good news is, and I love your slogan, good news.

01:54:24.060 Because there always is good news.

01:54:25.320 The good news is the opportunity is there for us to reclaim and to claim our freedoms that are here for us.

01:54:32.020 We just have to stand up and stand together.

01:54:34.720 And you can only affect change in your local community.

01:54:37.260 You can't change your state capital.

01:54:39.040 You can't change Washington, D.C.

01:54:40.780 But if we each focus on our own local communities, make them better, be the solution for your people,

01:54:47.400 we can together reclaim what we call freedom and liberty here.

01:54:52.560 It's what our country was founded on.

01:54:54.980 And I'd add to that, Ron, is a lot of times we look outside, like you said, D.C.

01:55:00.000 or your state capital here at Lansing.

01:55:02.620 We think about pointing the finger and, oh, these people are the problem.

01:55:06.400 But, you know, if we take the responsibility, that's really what this country operates on, right,

01:55:12.440 is that ultimate freedom and that ultimate personal responsibility.

01:55:15.620 If we take that radical responsibility, you know, I have an opportunity to control what happens in my own home

01:55:23.920 and to be a leader in my own home and I can take the opportunity to lead myself,

01:55:30.760 then you can make an impact, as you mentioned, locally in your churches, in your neighborhoods,

01:55:38.540 in your schools, and in the town that you live in.

01:55:43.420 That is how we make this effort together to stand up, but it's going to require all of us.

01:55:51.940 The good news is, is that each of us doing it on our own and these little bright sparks like that man in New Jersey

01:56:00.040 I was just talking about, the individuals that stand up and speak at your school board,

01:56:05.300 look at the wave that can happen.

01:56:08.820 And that's what they fear, I think, in 22 is what happened in Virginia and probably New Jersey,

01:56:15.080 if we're honest about all of it.

01:56:16.440 But that's what happened here just recently, isn't it?

01:56:20.520 It is, and it's just beginning.

01:56:22.520 The wave in 2022 is going to be huge.

01:56:24.580 And the important thing is, is not that we choose a political party again.

01:56:28.160 It's going to be looking at the individuals.

01:56:30.860 What do they stand for?

01:56:32.000 Will they stand up for our freedom?

01:56:33.760 Will they defend us when they go to their congressional seats or wherever they might serve?

01:56:38.880 And are they going to represent us in the school board?

01:56:40.640 Are they going to look at the real data and science in regard to these masks and vaccinating our children

01:56:45.760 when they're simply not getting sick and they're not dying from this?

01:56:48.760 They're not symptomatic.

01:56:49.800 All of these things that we know are true, but we just don't have the people in leadership that are willing to stand up.

01:56:56.280 And together, we're going to make a difference, but we need you to get involved.

01:57:00.400 And that's why we started not only this organization, but why its message is spreading throughout the country.

01:57:05.260 And the last thing is, understand that you have lots of grassroots groups that are pro-life, pro-gun, pro-whatever it might be.

01:57:12.260 But they're all small factions.

01:57:13.840 And what Stand Up Michigan did is become an umbrella for all those organizations to let them get involved in the area that affects them most.

01:57:21.280 And that brought, basically didn't take away their identity, but lets us have and speak with much bigger collective voice.

01:57:27.740 We've got to come together, and we've got to make sure, because there's enough of this division happening, I think, on other levels,

01:57:38.740 that we don't fall into that same trap ourselves.

01:57:42.800 And make sure that we find the things that we do agree with on each other, those common core principles, you know, those values.

01:57:51.020 And we take a stand for those.

01:57:52.580 Ron Armstrong, Stand Up Michigan, StandUpMichigan.com.

01:57:55.560 Is there the best way people can get in touch with social media, et cetera, Ron?

01:58:01.180 Yeah, StandUpMichigan.com.

01:58:02.780 And if you want to have censorship-free, join us on Locals.

01:58:06.580 That is the new community that has been around.

01:58:09.780 It's StandUpMichigan.locals.com.

01:58:12.220 You can also go to our website and look for the sign-up for Locals for free.

01:58:16.120 There's a promo code there.

01:58:17.360 And then you can get live broadcast and links to all kinds of information and resources that will help you be able to stand up in your community.

01:58:24.140 Yeah, appreciate it, Ron.

01:58:26.060 Thank you very much, my friend.

01:58:27.480 God bless.

01:58:28.220 Thank you.

01:58:29.080 Have a great weekend.

01:58:30.640 You too.

01:58:31.220 You can stand up together.

01:58:33.720 And I think, yeah, it doesn't take much more than just small efforts to make a big impact.

01:58:43.620 And some of those we talked about.

01:58:44.800 Some more we'll talk about here in a little bit.

01:58:46.200 But I want to give you an opportunity, too.

01:58:47.680 Guys, today's Black Friday.

01:58:50.120 And before we put the wraps on this whole thing, there's been a lot of this insanity that happened over the last couple of years.

01:58:57.500 This big box stores, corporate America, making large profits.

01:59:04.200 Mom and pop getting left in the dust.

01:59:05.940 And I want to give a chance before we leave here today, small business, for you to get maybe a shout-out.

01:59:12.580 So if you'd like to, 888-727-BECK is the phone number.

01:59:17.080 888-727-BECK.

01:59:18.500 And we'll go through these lightning fast, though.

01:59:21.060 If you've got a product or a service or something that's for sale out there, Black Friday special, something like that, that you want to share with folks,

01:59:27.640 I give you the floor to do that.

01:59:29.480 Now, this is invaluable advertising space here that we're just going to get back.

01:59:35.300 I don't know.

01:59:35.680 I may get in trouble for this.

01:59:36.900 They may not ever allow me to come back.

01:59:38.800 Somehow, I feel like Glenn would be okay with this, though.

01:59:42.440 Somehow, I feel like he would support this 100%.

01:59:45.000 So give me a shout.

01:59:46.320 Or you can text me at 616-201-3353.

01:59:51.040 616-201-3353.

01:59:53.620 And we'll make sure we get you a plug in the limited amount of time that we have right after this.

01:59:57.860 Justin Barclay in for Glenn Beck today on the Glenn Beck Program.

02:01:23.680 Welcome back.

02:01:24.960 Justin Barkley in for Glenn today in the Glenn Beck Program.

02:01:27.540 Okay, we've got limited time.

02:01:29.400 So a lightning round.

02:01:30.380 I'm going to kind of try and go through it.

02:01:31.760 888-727-BECK is the number.

02:01:34.980 That's 888-727-BECK. 0.81

02:01:36.420 I'm going to give you a chance to give a quick plug, if you'd like, for your business, your organization, whatever it might be, for mom and pops, really, on Black Friday.

02:01:45.560 Let's start with Ian in Colorado.

02:01:47.760 Ian, a quick plug for your company.

02:01:50.560 What do you do?

02:01:52.500 Thank you, Justin.

02:01:53.680 Yeah, I've been sheet metal all day.

02:01:55.280 I run a sheet metal shop.

02:01:58.320 That's awesome.

02:01:59.020 Sounds like fun.

02:01:59.920 And who are your customers who might use you?

02:02:03.960 Anybody in the Grand Valley, in the Grand Junction area, on the western slope here in Colorado.

02:02:09.200 And what kind of stuff do you usually make there?

02:02:13.040 You know, pretty much anything out of sheet metal.

02:02:15.340 You know, if you could draw it, I could bend it and weld it.

02:02:18.200 That sounds cool, man.

02:02:19.540 Very, very fun and creative job.

02:02:21.720 And what is the name of your company, or where can people find you, Ian?

02:02:27.240 The company's name is Jack's Place Sheet Metal, and we're in Grand Junction, Colorado.

02:02:33.780 Awesome.

02:02:34.400 Well, thank you very much, man.

02:02:35.740 We'll look you up.

02:02:36.460 I appreciate you calling in.

02:02:37.720 All right, I'm going to try and go quickly, because we don't have a lot of time here.

02:02:40.140 But let's go to Susan, and I don't know if it's Louisiana or L.A.

02:02:44.880 I hope it's Louisiana for your sanity, Susan.

02:02:49.200 Oh, no.

02:02:50.360 I live in Georgia, in Dallas, Georgia, but it's my daughter's business out of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

02:02:58.700 Okay, great.

02:02:59.700 Tell me about it.

02:03:00.500 What is it?

02:03:01.020 It's called Amanda Proctor Ceramics.
