Glenn Beck on the disappearance of his pastor in China and why you have to decide if you believe there is a God. Also, a new video that will make you question if your faith is shaky at all.
00:19:30.540So basically, the problem that many people have grappled with is that at the traditional site for Mount Sinai in Egypt, Sinai Peninsula, there's been very little evidence.
00:19:40.860And so that's led to an academic consensus that the story is just made up, or at least 99% of it is exaggerated.
00:19:49.580I remember when I was a young teenager, and I flipped through the Bible that I had and had notes on the side.
00:19:55.320One of the notes said that there had, there is no evidence of the Exodus.
00:20:00.540And it really just turns out, based on our research, that they, we've all just been looking in the wrong spot.
00:20:08.620The Bible's very clear that Moses fled to Midian, which would be northwestern Saudi Arabia.
00:20:15.000The historian Josephus said that Mount Sinai was the highest mountain located near a city that is today called Al-Bad in Saudi Arabia.
00:20:24.260And when you go to this location and you discard that conventional, traditional thinking, and you follow the story of the Exodus very literally, because it has directions in it, of them going north, south, left, right.
00:20:37.460And if you follow it very literally, you run into just about everything that that story talks about.
00:20:44.440But the information has not gotten out because Saudi Arabia is a theocracy.
00:20:49.380And then in regards to Mount Sinai itself within Saudi Arabia and some of these other sites that we'll talk about, they are kept secret with fences and they are patrolled by police.
00:21:01.180And so those who have tried to go there have been arrested.
00:21:06.460They've had their evidence confiscated.
00:21:09.160One guy, a highly controversial individual, Ron Wyatt, who went there in the late 1970s, he was held for 70 days.
00:21:17.120And then the next two guys who snuck in, Bob Cornuke and Larry Williams, they were then arrested as well and had their stuff confiscated.
00:21:24.680And then an American couple that were working in the country, Jim and Penny Caldwell, started leaking out photos and videos from the area around Mount Sinai, but remained anonymous.
00:22:11.560And amazingly, even with some things going wrong, we did have some encounters with Saudi police.
00:22:16.640I was able to get in and out of the country safely three times, and we got stunning footage that's really never been seen before.
00:22:25.740And so now the entire world can see evidence of, for example, the golden calf worship, the altar that Moses constructed at the foot of the mountain, just as the book of Exodus says.
00:22:36.460And what's stunning about this is it is marked with a golden calf, ancient markings, and cows were not in Saudi Arabia.
00:23:03.160And what's stunning about some of these things is that they are behind this very high-security fence that is marked around this entire mountain, which the Bedouins and the locals call the Mountain of Moses.
00:23:23.460That's what's really amazing is that you get to northwestern Saudi Arabia, and the first thing that Saudis will tell you after saying hello,
00:23:30.740because they're so happy to see an American that they've never met face-to-face.
00:23:35.140And they say, do you know what's here?
00:23:38.000It's the Mountain of Moses, Jebel Musa.
00:23:41.740And I'll also show you the other areas where Moses and the Yahud, the Jews, walked.
00:23:47.040And so when you go there, this is common knowledge over there, which is really amazing.
00:23:52.340And many Saudis are also aware that we don't know about it.
00:23:56.100I spoke to a former jihadist contact of mine about this, and I was just telling what I was doing in Saudi Arabia.
00:24:03.920And he goes, yeah, Mount Sinai, Saudi Arabia, and it's covered up with the fences and the police.
00:24:08.200Yeah, we all knew about that when I was in the jihadist world.
00:24:10.940And from his perspective, the reason for doing that wasn't just because of the geopolitical ramifications,
00:24:18.240but from his interpretation of strict Sharia law and those he hung out with, which included associates of Osama bin Laden,
00:24:25.000the reason it's done is to preserve the sites, because if people start going and they start, like, taking sand and they sell it, saying it'll do a miracle, it becomes idolatrous.
00:24:35.800And if it becomes idolatrous, according to Sharia law, you have to deny access and destroy everything, and they don't want to do that.
00:24:42.360So from his perspective, Sharia law basically saved the sites.
00:24:46.800And when you go there, I've got to tell you, you feel like you're in the exodus.
00:24:55.060When we come back, I want you to describe some of the things that you saw and have captured on video,
00:25:02.880and then what you are asking for help with, this is when you see the video, I can't tell you, there is no place on earth that I would rather go to,
00:25:22.460If I could go anywhere to actually stand in front of the things that I've seen just on Ryan's video, I would pay any price.
00:25:36.300This is truly, truly game-changing when it comes to faith.
00:25:43.100Ryan Morrow, the director of the Clarion Intelligence Network, is telling us about what is in the desert of Saudi Arabia and what he is needing our help for.
00:25:58.120So, Ryan, first tell me, take me through your trip.
00:26:05.100Well, the first thing that we saw is where the likely Red Sea crossing happened, and when you look at maps of that area, of the underwater area,
00:26:14.660what you'll see is that there's actually a path going from Egypt into Saudi Arabia.
00:26:18.780So if the waters parted, you would have to have somewhere that you can walk that wasn't too steep.
00:26:23.760And that's there, and only right there.
00:26:26.860And what's crazy about this is it's kind of elevated a bit.
00:26:30.380And so the Jews, if you ever study Torah with Jewish people, they interpret the waters parting differently.
00:27:17.400And the army of the Egyptians would drown if the waters came back because it's wide enough for a population to walk.
00:27:24.700But if you're pushed over to the sides, it becomes real deep.
00:27:28.120And so the waters coming down would kill the people and also would drown them.
00:27:34.060And so it makes logistical sense at that point.
00:27:38.260And then after that, we know from the Book of Exodus that they go to Mara, but then they also go to a specific spot called Elam, where they come across 12 wells and 70 palms.
00:27:48.980You follow the directions in the Book of Exodus, you come to this area, it's an oasis that has many more palms than that because they multiply over time, but to this day, 12 wells.
00:27:59.960And when you go there, there will be Saudis saying, this is Elam.
00:28:03.840This is where Moses and the Yehud, the Jews, came.
00:28:06.680Then you leave there, and you follow the exact directions of the Bible, and what do you find?
00:28:13.580What's visually the most amazing point is basically called the split rock, with the miracle where Moses comes up to a rock because the people are ready to revolt against them because they're ready to die of thirst.
00:28:28.520And God tells them to go up to a rock and strike it with his rod.
00:28:31.480And then there's an earthquake and a little bit of a rumble, and then water pours forth, and it relieves the Israelites.
00:28:38.520And that rock appears to still be there.
00:28:42.120When you go to this area, you will see a massive split rock with signs of water erosion coming down from it onto the ground where a lake formed.
00:28:52.620Okay, so you understand this is crazy.
00:29:07.600But as Ryan just said, right at where the rock is split, there's water erosion.
00:29:14.200So it's clear that the rocks on the ground that are in front of this rock, a mighty water ran from that point down into the valley for a very long time because you can see, you know, how long does it take to water erode rocks?
00:29:36.240It's actually smooth where the water flowed.
00:29:43.880And nearby, there are inscriptions that appear to be Proto-Hebrew, including images of a foot and a sandal with Proto-Hebrew writing that means the sole of your foot.
00:29:57.440Now, the reason that makes sense is because of the biblical verse where God told the Israelites, wherever your foot, the sole of your foot touches, that's going to be your land.
00:30:10.600And so there are these Proto-Hebrew inscriptions of basically the Israelite tribal sign right in this area.
00:30:18.300And the local Saudis, at least those that will talk to you rather than kick you out of the Split Rock area, they refer to this area either as the Water of Moses or the Split Rock of Moses.
00:31:21.140But I mean, who knows how big, if that phenomenon happens, and there is to be evidence at the top of the mountain of that, who knows how big that was?
00:31:29.360Maybe it would have been more than just that peak.
00:31:35.040But then in front of this mountain, just like, and you can just imagine Moses coming down from the mountain and seeing the people worshiping the golden calf based on where it is visually.
00:31:44.720That's where you have a site of golden calf worship, or at least bull worship.
00:31:51.500And the local custom is that that's where that story took place.
00:31:54.920And you can see these petroglyphs of people worshiping cows on this stand where the golden calf would have been at the top.
00:32:03.100And there's a circular area on the top that maybe, you know, speculatively, could have been where the golden calf was smashed into powder, because you can see it was worn down at the top.
00:32:13.140And then there's an altar in front of it, again, just like the Bible says.
00:32:18.260Okay, give the audience a scope of how large this is, because it's enormous.
00:32:24.920Yeah, I don't have the measurement in front of me, but you climb it, basically.
00:32:29.000You can climb it, and you get to the top of it.
00:32:32.120And if the golden calf was on the top, then the local population of Israelites that turned against Moses would have seen it.
00:33:15.760According to the book of Exodus, Moses builds an altar of uncut stone with no steps at the foot of Mount Sinai and erects 12 pillars to represent the tribes of Israel.
00:33:29.500And that's right there at the foot of the mountain.
00:33:32.200It is astonishing, and it has been preserved by the Saudis and protected by the Saudis.
00:33:41.560When you see the lengths, they have surrounded this entire gigantic mountain with security fence.
00:33:51.540It is literally like a military operation.
00:33:54.540And you can't go anywhere, and it says because of archaeological reasons, but it's in English and Arabic, and you're not allowed.
00:34:05.420You know, there's a popular way to dismiss the Bible is to say there's no evidence.
00:34:33.740The locals call it Mount Sinai, the mountain of Moses.
00:34:38.120It has all of the markings from the Red Sea, if you just follow the directions in the Bible, to the mountain, and you see all of the things that are said to be seen in the Bible.
00:34:51.320And it's not, well, I guess that could be.
00:34:57.200So this is either an elaborate, ancient, I don't know, hoax or Disneyland for, you know, travelers to come and say, hey, look, and this is the mountain of Moses right here, right here.
00:35:10.080And Walt Disney is, you know, making audio-anatronic calves.
00:35:38.980Go there now and just look at the footage.
00:35:42.920It is stunning that you've never heard of this.
00:35:47.300Ryan, it's interesting looking at this because I think what you've put together is a really interesting theory with a lot of evidence.
00:35:54.340And you kind of point this out a couple times in the piece where you're saying, look, we don't know for sure about all this stuff, but it all fits.
00:36:02.380What is the level of acceptance when it comes to the church and religious experts and historians?
00:36:10.540Like, do they believe this is plausible?
00:37:11.400But speaking to the earlier point about people not knowing about this, that's why I think even this radio segment right now could be a historical moment,
00:37:20.320because the ramifications of this are just massive on a personal level and even geopolitically.
00:37:27.060And so I encourage people to go to SinaiInArabia.com, and hopefully the Blaze social media accounts can also send out the direct link to the YouTube video that you can search
00:37:39.220called Finding the Mountain of Moses that just went live.
00:37:42.460And I hope people watch it on Christmas with their families and with their churches,
00:37:46.080because I think for a lot of people, especially including myself, it really brought me to a whole new level of confidence in my faith,
00:37:55.280but also understanding of my faith, and that you can't put a price on.
00:37:58.560And you weren't somebody who is, who, you know, you say in the video that, you know, you're not a man of perfect faith,
00:38:06.760and you struggle with it from time to time.
