Transcript

00:00:00.000 I opened the show with, uh, about a 20 minute, just thought about how do we fix the nation and
00:00:06.420 how do we come back together? So part two is in today's shortened podcast. How do we come back
00:00:12.780 together to fix the nation? Also, uh, it's day one of something I'm so excited to share with you
00:00:19.060 as a, uh, Torch subscriber, or if you just go to glenbeck.com, you'll find it there,
00:00:23.880 the front page of glenbeck.com. Everything is still free there. You don't have to join us.
00:00:28.320 Um, but you can poke around and see the different shows. We have a show with Roger love called find
00:00:34.780 your voice. And Roger is a dear friend of mine, best vocal coach in the world bar none. And, uh,
00:00:42.680 he took a guy who has stuttered for his whole life. He's probably 35 years old, really had
00:00:48.520 just struggled. You can see it just wore him down. Roger had told me, Glenn, I can, I can fix
00:00:54.840 stutterers. I can do it in one session. I'm like, no, you can't. He's like, yes, I can.
00:00:59.640 So we did this experiment. It is the most uplifting thing you'll ever see. This guy who has struggled
00:01:06.500 for 35 years has his life turned around by Roger love and find your voice, find that finding your
00:01:14.140 purpose, choosing truth and head in the right direction. That's what we're trying to give you on
00:01:19.140 today's podcast. Let me tell you about relief factor. Relief factor. Here's from people every
00:01:26.520 single day who are finally getting their lives back. And a lot of those stories sound really
00:01:32.000 familiar. At least to me, Kim wrote in and she said, you know, before trying taking relief factor,
00:01:36.440 I struggled just to make it through my work days. I would collapse on the couch and I aching
00:01:41.300 everywhere. Within a few weeks of starting taking relief factor, the pain began to fade away.
00:01:46.180 Now I'm keeping up at work and I have energy left for my family. That's her words. The story
00:01:52.740 is really not that unusual. It plays out in kitchens and office desks and factory floors all
00:01:57.560 over the country. People want to show up for their families, but are spending every ounce of energy
00:02:01.900 they have just getting through the day. What relief factor is really doing is giving people their
00:02:06.940 lives back. I know it did for me. Relief factor is a hundred percent drug free. It targets the
00:02:11.880 inflammation that causes pain so you can move better, feel better, and actually enjoy life
00:02:16.460 again. Start with our three-week quick starts. Nineteen ninety-five. Go to relieffactor.com
00:02:20.980 or call 800-4-RELIEF. 800, the number four relief. Let's see if you're next to getting out of pain
00:02:26.300 with relieffactor.com.
00:02:30.040 Hello, America. You know we've been fighting every single day. We push back against the lies,
00:02:34.780 the censorship, the nonsense of the mainstream media that they're trying to feed you. We work
00:02:39.760 tirelessly to bring you the unfiltered truth because you deserve it. But to keep this fight
00:02:45.040 going, we need you. Right now, would you take a moment and rate and review the Glenn Beck podcast?
00:02:50.500 Give us five stars and lead a comment because every single review helps us break through
00:02:55.020 Big Tech's algorithm to reach more Americans who need to hear the truth. This isn't a podcast.
00:03:00.660 This is a movement and you're part of it, a big part of it. So if you believe in what we're doing,
00:03:05.400 you want more people to wake up, help us push this podcast to the top. Rate, review, share.
00:03:10.820 Together, we'll make a difference. And thanks for standing with us. Now let's get to work.
00:03:23.220 You're listening to
00:03:24.280 The Best of the Glenn Beck Program.
00:03:27.300 If you've been listening the last half hour, I've been talking about how do we come back together?
00:03:31.380 How do we fix the nation? And I feel like I know you and maybe it's because I know myself
00:03:39.100 and, you know, likes attract, I guess. So much of the audience, we're very much alike.
00:03:46.400 And if I were listening to me in my car, I'd be like, yeah, dude, I got it. I got it. All these
00:03:52.080 things are obvious. Okay. But the other side doesn't want any of those things. And I know that's
00:03:57.520 why I led with the Insurrection Act. I don't know how to solve those things yet. But we're going to
00:04:05.160 have to. But I do know this. If we continue to do the same thing, we're going to get the same result.
00:04:14.680 And what I mean by that is we can't continue to
00:04:19.240 phrase things the way we've been phrasing. Look, there's two groups on the left. I think
00:04:27.240 there are the lefties that absolutely believe it, that are all in on destroying America. They hate
00:04:33.460 America, all that. Okay. That's one group. Never going to get those. But I still do not believe
00:04:39.260 that's half the country. Maybe it is. Maybe I'm just an optimist. I do not believe that. I believe
00:04:45.020 there's 30% in that. Let's say it's 50%. I believe there's 30% of that who are just buying into the
00:04:53.760 lies of Orange Man Bad. They're just completely convinced that Republicans or people who love
00:05:04.420 the Constitution just want to starve people to death and we hate all immigrants and all of that stuff.
00:05:09.300 So there are things that can be done that we must do to demonstrate. Nobody believes words anymore.
00:05:16.580 It takes actions. So there are things that we must do that we can get people to believe again.
00:05:23.540 Because if you are, if Donald Trump comes out and or anybody in the administration,
00:05:29.780 and I believe they're doing the right thing in Minnesota, and I do not believe they're just
00:05:34.680 rounding people up willy-nilly. But it takes the president to come out and say, I hear the people
00:05:43.240 of Minnesota. I hear the crazies and the people who are just bound and determined to do whatever
00:05:49.920 to win and to destroy America. And I hear those people. And you're not a blessing to the Republic,
00:05:59.140 let's put it that way, to be very, very, very kind. But I also hear people who are concerned because
00:06:06.380 they're hearing all of these things on television from their own party. And they're hearing that we
00:06:13.060 are rounding people up. I want you to know, any ICE agent that would do that, we will prosecute to the
00:06:20.680 fullest extent of the law. Instead of just saying, this is happening, show me the facts. Here's a
00:06:30.200 special phone number. You can call the White House and present the facts. And if you have the facts,
00:06:37.720 we will investigate. And if it's true, we are with you. Because we're not to have monsters pulling
00:06:46.800 people out of their house, as many on the left say, they're full citizens. They've never done
00:06:54.140 anything wrong. That's not true. But if you can show me where it is true, I'm on your side.
00:07:03.540 But you have to come along and realize what I'm telling you, what ICE, what I have directed ICE to do
00:07:12.080 is to go get those illegals. First, the ones who are the worst criminals, that are raping our children,
00:07:21.340 that are stealing from us, that are destroying our country, our neighborhoods, and your own livelihood,
00:07:29.100 making your street less safe. Those are the people we're going after right now.
00:07:35.220 Now, if he can, if he can be surgical, instead of a blanket, everybody over there, all the Democrats,
00:07:44.960 they want, he's got to be more surgical. We have to be, I have to be more surgical.
00:07:50.720 Because you can win by governing like an adult in a burning house. Don't panic, everybody. You know
00:07:59.180 what to do. Come on. Come on. Follow me. Follow me. Follow me. But you have to tell the truth in full
00:08:04.540 sentences. And you have to apply the laws equally. And even to your own allies. Do you imagine,
00:08:11.100 you imagine what would happen if there was somebody that was in the, you know, the files,
00:08:17.900 Epstein files, which is a bad example, because I don't think anything true is in the Epstein files
00:08:21.560 at any point. Well, okay. How about this? Anybody who is giving a subpoena has been subpoenaed and
00:08:28.940 they're on the, on the right and they don't show up for their subpoena. Can you imagine what message
00:08:36.340 the president would say, would send to people if he sent out, if the DOJ sent out a warrant for Bill
00:08:44.800 Clinton and I don't know, George W. Bush, I'm not picking ridiculous guy, but at the same time,
00:08:51.820 both left and right, that's how you convince people. We're not what you say, what you keep
00:08:57.420 saying. We are, you have to, justice has to fall swiftly on both sides. You have to admit trade-offs.
00:09:05.340 You have to fix things that people feel in their daily lives. And he is lower bills, lower bills.
00:09:11.580 Have you seen the price of eggs? They were $9. What are they now? What was the price of your gas?
00:09:16.760 What is it now? Safer streets. Did you see the report that came out today? This is the safest
00:09:21.980 our streets have been since 1900, the lowest murder rate in America since 1900. And the press is like,
00:09:32.360 why is that happening? How is that happening? It must be magic. No, it's applying certain principles.
00:09:37.960 More opportunity, less chaos. And when people feel their lives improving, unity stops being a fantasy
00:09:47.280 because unity is not an agreement. Unity is a shared benefit. So here is the message that
00:09:57.140 Republicans or anybody who wants to win and not leave half the country behind, because there's no
00:10:02.780 winning if half the country is behind. We don't have a country. You'll have a collection of states will
00:10:07.280 go into civil war and we'll split up and what happens then. So if you want to win as a country,
00:10:13.200 if you want to be an actual steward of the republic, this is what we have to start saying. We're not here
00:10:18.880 to punish half the country. We're not here to redistribute decline either. We are here to make
00:10:26.620 America affordable again, safe again, productive and free under the constitution, under the rule of law.
00:10:35.540 And for everyone who is willing to work and to build and live in peace.
00:10:43.160 That's how Republicans will win.
00:10:47.140 That's how America will win.
00:10:52.260 We just have to find enough people because I believe everything I've said in the last 25 minutes,
00:10:59.100 30 minutes, I believe everything I have laid out is common sense. I believe that if Al Gore were saying
00:11:06.420 this in a room full of Democrats, everybody there would go, yep, yep, yep, right? Yeah, yeah. But they
00:11:14.740 would apply it differently in their head. But the message is universally true. What's happening is
00:11:23.780 the facts around this thing, those are the things that are being distorted. So we have to stop the
00:11:31.940 distortion. And if we're going to be responsible for it, if we want to make a positive impact, we have
00:11:37.740 to go further than anybody else. We have to set ourselves apart from what everyone else is doing.
00:11:47.860 And I'm not talking to all of America and even half of America. I'm talking to the people who want
00:11:52.640 to actually be a steward of the Republic. I'm talking to people who, who feel the torch
00:11:57.500 of saving this nation and are willing to pick it up.
00:12:00.900 You know, I talked to a, I talked to a, um, a liberal in California who actually sat and had lunch with
00:12:16.980 me and said, I can't believe you guys are so against voter ID. And I said, what, what? I mean,
00:12:24.600 this is just an average guy. I can't believe you guys are constantly going after voter ID. And I'm like,
00:12:29.620 no, we're, we're not. Yeah, you are. Yeah. You guys are always, I mean, how does that make sense
00:12:35.300 at all? And I'm like, you are on the wrong side here, buddy. Actually, you're preaching,
00:12:39.100 you're preaching to the choir. Hello person meet choir. I'm here. We're all here. You misunderstand.
00:12:46.680 I had to actually bring it up. And when he saw it, I brought it up on, you know, online. And when he saw
00:12:51.800 it, he was skeptical. Cause what source is this? I'm like, dude, this is what it is. This is what it is.
00:12:57.540 He couldn't believe that it was his side that was standing in the way. That's the average person.
00:13:04.540 Now the safe act is, uh, going through, sorry, not safe save act is it's a Mike Lee. It's going to
00:13:13.860 require citizenship to vote and to register to vote. Okay. How is this not common sense? It is,
00:13:22.300 it is, but you just got two new, um, uh, Republicans to sign on Katie Britt of Alabama,
00:13:29.760 Dave McCormick of Pennsylvania. They're now co-sponsoring this, the, uh, legislation. How,
00:13:34.960 who's not co-sponsoring this? How is there a single Republican? Quite honestly, this is a,
00:13:40.900 between a 70 and 90% approval rating. However, you phrase the question with all Americans. Yes,
00:13:48.300 you should have to register to vote. So why isn't everybody signing up on this? Because they're
00:13:53.100 weasels. That's why, but let me just show you how common sense this is. This is how common sense
00:13:58.080 works. This is how you make the case. Should you have to register to vote? Well, I don't think so.
00:14:04.320 Cause it's a, it's, it's a offensive to black people because black people somehow or another can't
00:14:09.300 find a way to find a way to a driver's license. Oh, okay. Really? Because these are the things that
00:14:16.320 you have to have ID. So are you saying that those voters have never opened a bank account?
00:14:22.900 They've never cashed a check. They've never applied for a credit card. They've never applied
00:14:27.940 for a loan or a mortgage. They've never withdrawn a large sum of cash from a bank. They've never wired
00:14:33.720 money. They've never sent it, sent money internationally. They, they haven't applied for
00:14:40.060 social security benefits. They haven't applied for Medicare, Medicaid, unemployment benefits,
00:14:44.380 filing tax forms or resolving IRS issues in person. You need an ID for all of those things.
00:14:51.920 To get a job, you need ID. Completing e-verify, you need ID. Applying for a professional license,
00:14:58.560 you need an ID. Joining a labor union, you need an ID. Going into a government building, you need an ID.
00:15:07.760 To board a commercial airplane, you need an ID. Enter a federal building, ID. Renewing a driver's
00:15:13.560 license or applying for one the first time, ID. Registering a vehicle, renting a car, applying
00:15:19.200 for a passport, crossing a border, entering many state capitals or any secure government facility.
00:15:25.840 Picking up prescription medications. Really? Have your constituents never picked up something at CVS?
00:15:33.420 Because you need an ID. Having access to certain medical records, registering at a hospital or
00:15:41.300 emergency facility, enrolling in health insurance, getting a vaccine in many states, applying for
00:15:47.380 medical assistance programs, renting an apartment, buying or selling a home, signing a lease, applying
00:15:52.900 for public housing, checking into a hotel, buying alcohol, buying tobacco, entering many age-restricted
00:16:00.620 venues, education, enrolling in public school, enrolling in a university or a college, applying
00:16:05.620 for a student loan, taking a standardized test, going on to a campus facility, applying for
00:16:12.120 financial aid, serving on a jury, registering for selective service, filing court documents,
00:16:18.300 attaining a marriage license, adopting a child, purchasing a firearm, applying for a concealed
00:16:23.520 carry permit, notarizing a single document. Welfare aid, public assistance, SNAP, food assistance,
00:16:30.980 WIC benefits, disaster relief applications, FEMA aid. I mean, I could go on and on and
00:16:37.640 on. You need ID for all of those things. So what voters are you appealing to here? What
00:16:44.540 is it that you're really after? Because if you care about the poor, you're saying they're
00:16:47.920 poor, they're on welfare, they whatever, they must have ID to sign up for welfare. Who is
00:16:57.920 it you're protecting? Your vote. That's who you're protecting. Your ability to swing the
00:17:10.100 vote illegally. That's the case. That's common sense. And every American should take the team
00:17:20.760 jersey off and go, okay, wait, well, that's, those are the facts. Yep. Here's the right
00:17:27.920 thing to do. That's how we save America, which requires you to take the team jersey off.
00:17:34.480 This is the best of the Glenn Beck program.
00:17:39.140 Roger Love is a dear friend of mine. I've known him forever. Um, he, most people don't know this
00:17:46.600 and probably doesn't want anybody to know, but he has helped me if I lose my voice. And I mean,
00:17:50.360 I've had times when I have no voice whatsoever within 20 minutes, I'm back to full voice.
00:17:55.280 He, uh, worked with Rush Limbaugh as well. Um, he, he has coached every singer under the sun,
00:18:03.200 John Mayer, Selena Gomez. Uh, he is the coach for, uh, Tom Brady on his new venture, Jennifer
00:18:10.240 Aniston, Joaquin Phoenix, uh, Steve Carell, Will Ferrell, Reese Witherspoon, Brad Pitt,
00:18:16.740 Keira Knightley, Bradley Cooper, blah, blah, blah. He's published four books and he is one of the
00:18:22.820 nicest, most humble men that I know. Um, and really would go out of his way to help anybody.
00:18:31.560 And we were talking, hello, Roger. Welcome. We were talking, um, I don't know, six months ago.
00:18:38.300 And we were talking about my new venture and what I wanted to do. And I said, I really want to do
00:18:44.120 some things that help people make them, you know, empower them. Uh, and you had been giving,
00:18:50.880 uh, instruction and you go around the country and you're working with fortune 500 companies,
00:18:56.240 working with their top executives to try to teach them how to speak, um, and, uh, and be more effective.
00:19:04.240 And so we were kind of, I was calling you about that. Is there something there? And you're like,
00:19:09.340 well, you know, I, I kind of, I mean, there's other things. I mean, you work on the whole voice
00:19:13.700 and you mentioned that you could, you could stop somebody stuttering in one session and I didn't
00:19:20.240 believe you. Tell me, tell me the story. The story was people think that they're locked in whatever
00:19:28.840 sounds they have. And most people don't even like the sound of their own voices when they hear it
00:19:33.840 back, but they think they were born with it, but it's really just an instrument that you,
00:19:39.600 that you weren't given a manual on how to use. So I've spent my lifetime helping people figure out
00:19:46.520 what sounds should come out of their mouths to achieve the success and happiness that they want
00:19:52.720 in their lives. And your team had brought me this super nice guy named Alex who had stuttered his
00:20:01.760 entire life. And he'd tried every cure that was possible, but there wasn't a cure. He went to
00:20:09.740 doctors. He went to psychologists. He's like in his thirties and he had like, he had given up,
00:20:16.820 right? Given up. He just figured that when he tried to speak to people, it was not going to come
00:20:23.560 out. And, and it was, it was causing him to suffer a great deal in his life with his relationships and
00:20:29.920 of course in his business. So I've been dealing with vocal problems my whole life, helping people get
00:20:38.520 over them. So I, I told you that I could take someone who had been stuttering their entire lives
00:20:45.300 and that I could probably fix them in anywhere between 15 to 20 minutes, certainly in an hour.
00:20:51.120 So, so we had the challenge. And again, when people watch this, this fantastic show that we put
00:20:59.580 together, this documentary, they need to understand that I literally had about an hour with him and I
00:21:06.980 changed the way that he speaks, which changes how he hears himself, which changes his confidence.
00:21:14.220 He wanted to move into a, into an occupation where he had to speak to people. If you're a
00:21:20.360 realtor, you have to create relationships with people so that they trust you and want to buy your
00:21:26.140 property along with liking you. So he couldn't make any of that happen. So it was a challenge,
00:21:33.880 but, but we did it in and the results blew me away even.
00:21:37.040 I mean, he was, you only had one session with him, right? Only one.
00:21:42.340 I had like a couple of half an hours with him.
00:21:45.700 Okay. Um, and, uh, I was watching cause I don't know how long it took to put this document. I mean,
00:21:52.480 no, no, no, how long it took, but I don't know how, how long we followed him, but it, it maybe was
00:21:57.960 maybe let's say four to six weeks after your first meeting and they sit down with him and he is
00:22:03.660 speaking without stuttering, without hesitation and like the full interview. Um, and his, I mean,
00:22:12.120 I know you caught this Roger, his body language was different. His, you could feel joy in him.
00:22:19.660 You could see it was beaming out of him. Uh, because he never thought he would ever be able to
00:22:26.400 get there. Never. I mean, I can't imagine what that felt like.
00:22:30.740 People are trying to make so many different makeovers to change the way they feel about
00:22:35.620 themselves and the way they present themselves to the life, to the world. Uh, a new haircut,
00:22:40.740 new wardrobe, go to the gym, lose weight, gain weight. And they haven't thought of that. The most
00:22:46.720 important communication tool that you have, how you come across to other people has solely to do with
00:22:53.340 your voice. If you can't create sounds with your voice that create great communication with other
00:23:00.860 people that you want to talk to, you can't. I mean, I, I, I'm in the voice business and I don't
00:23:07.180 think I really even understand this. I mean, I understand what you've done with him, but I don't
00:23:11.500 understand, uh, what, like, cause you keep saying to me, Glenn, we can change people's lives. We can
00:23:18.340 change people's lives. And so we're going to do it. We've, we've agreed to do a series of these
00:23:22.540 documentaries and you're going to look for different people who just want their lives changed and
00:23:27.320 you believe they can do it just by changing their voice. It, you don't mean like it's not putting on
00:23:31.960 a fake voice. It's what exactly does that mean to you have? It means that your grandmother
00:23:39.020 unfortunately pass, if your grandmother unfortunately passes away and she sends you a Steinway grand
00:23:45.400 piano, which is huge. You have a couple of choices to make. She gives you this amazing
00:23:50.140 instrument. So first you have to decide whether you're going to move out all of the furniture in
00:23:54.780 your living room to put the piano there because nobody's going to be able to sit. It's going to
00:23:59.580 take up all the space. So you decide, okay, I'll take this incredible instrument. I'll put it in my,
00:24:04.380 my living room. And then you have another decision to make. Is it going to be a frame holder or are you
00:24:09.660 going to learn to play music? Your voice is an incredible instrument that most people don't know how to
00:24:15.820 play. You've spent your whole life realizing the sounds you could make to move people emotionally.
00:24:23.660 And when you, when you, when that happens, it shows the best of you, the most authentic parts of you.
00:24:31.020 And you also have to understand that people don't realize that the way they were taught how to
00:24:35.980 communicate is flawed. People think that speaking is a word based thing, but check this out.
00:24:43.180 I hate my wife. I love my wife. I hate strawberries. I hate golf. I love golf. Words. You don't know how
00:24:50.780 I feel. I have to attach sounds to those words. I love my wife. I love working with people. I love,
00:24:58.940 okay, I don't really love golf. When you attach the right sounds to the words, you showcase your
00:25:07.020 intelligence. You showcase your empathy, your emotions, and, and you, you, you become this
00:25:15.500 new confident person. Do you know that the fear of speaking in public is still the number one fear
00:25:21.100 in America and number one or two all across the world? What are we afraid of? We're afraid of being
00:25:27.260 judged by the way that we sound. So you don't have to have that be a nebulous situation. You can
00:25:35.020 literally learn how to sound the right sounds attached to the words and you can move people
00:25:40.780 emotionally. You can control the outcome of the conversations you have because what is life? One
00:25:48.380 conversation at a time, which creates one relationship at a time, which builds the life
00:25:54.300 you want to have. And all of that starts with the way that you sound.
00:25:57.820 So episode one, find your voice follows Alex. He's a realtor in Tampa who has been stuttering
00:26:05.980 his whole life. Um, and you can see he is fearful. He's very skeptical, but he wants it to work.
00:26:13.900 And, uh, this is not a story about just, uh, curing a stutterer. It is what it's, what happens when
00:26:19.500 somebody dares to believe their life can actually be different and their voice isn't broken. Uh, find your
00:26:25.820 voice. The other reason why Roger and I are doing this together is, um, the, one of my goals with
00:26:32.700 the torch. And if you listen to the show and you've listened for 20 years, I have had the same open,
00:26:37.340 the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment. I've had that for 25 years. I changed it this year,
00:26:42.700 the fusion of entertainment, enlightenment and empowerment, because you can be entertained,
00:26:47.900 you can be enlightened, but if you're not empowered, nothing changes. And so Roger and I are working on this
00:26:55.420 project together because I want you to be empowered with the best vocal coach in the world. I mean,
00:27:03.420 he's not going to say this, but I will, there is no one on his scale. Um, and, uh, I want you to be
00:27:10.540 able to have access to learn from him so you can empower yourself because we need great leaders.
00:27:17.180 And I don't mean just in Washington. I mean, in our homes and in our communities, we need people
00:27:21.980 who can move people, um, spiritually and emotionally. And if you don't know how to use the instrument,
00:27:28.380 that is your voice, it's going to be a lot harder. So this is part of our empowerment, uh, segment.
00:27:34.140 Um, Roger, I don't want to announce anything, uh, this week. I'm going to have you on next week,
00:27:38.780 because we're going to announce something that we're doing. Um, uh, I just don't want to say
00:27:45.100 any more than that, but we're doing something. We're looking for singers and, uh, everyone has
00:27:50.940 advised me, no, Glenn, just hire these really, cause this is a re you know where they're going
00:27:55.580 to be singing. This is a really big deal. And I have said, no, let's find people from the audience
00:28:01.820 and let's empower them and let them sing. Um, and we're looking for three specific singers
00:28:08.380 and we only have until May 1st. And so these most likely are not going to be professionals.
00:28:14.700 They're just going to be people from the audience that are trying out. Do you think,
00:28:18.780 cause you've heard the music it's written for this particular event. And one of them is
00:28:24.140 extraordinarily difficult. Um, he, you, you have confidence that you can take three people from
00:28:31.100 the audience that have skill and make them into a world-class singer that fast.
00:28:37.900 Or at least that song. I'm confident that I'll be able to take people that have skill.
00:28:43.180 I'm also looking for people that love to sing, but feel trapped in the voice that they have
00:28:51.020 and will do transformations. So I don't even want to make it so easy on us. You and I are about
00:28:57.420 empowering people. So let's, so let's not only we're, I'm not only looking for the best singers,
00:29:03.260 I'm looking for people that have challenges with singing. I, I used, I spent my whole first 17 years
00:29:11.100 of being a teacher, being a singing teacher. And I thought the greatest thing I could do
00:29:16.700 was help people sing better. But when you train someone to sing, they sing higher, they sing lower,
00:29:22.940 and I've got very good at that skillset and they sell more records and t-shirts and concert tickets.
00:29:28.380 But then years later, I realized when people started coming to me to work on their speaking voice
00:29:33.420 as well, I went from just being someone who wanted to help someone have a great voice
00:29:40.700 to the person who was using voice to help make great people, singers, speakers, it's all the same.
00:29:47.740 You have an instrument. You should be able to sing. You should be able to speak. I, like I said, I'm,
00:29:52.220 I'm challenging people who have challenges with their voice, even for this special project where
00:29:57.820 singing has to be amazing. Okay. Roger, uh, Roger Love, uh, vocal coach. Uh, no one is stuck with a
00:30:05.340 voice that they don't like. Uh, find your voice. Alex's story. It is the first in a series of docs released.
00:30:12.300 It went online at glennbeck.com this morning at 8 a.m glennbeck.com. Find your voice. The story of
00:30:19.020 Alex, uh, Roger, and we will announce that other big, big, big, big, big, big project, uh, next week.
00:30:24.780 And we'll have you back on. Thank you so much, Roger. Fantastic. And if people want to reach
00:30:29.100 me or get more information, they could go to rogerlove.com forward slash Glenn, watch videos,
00:30:36.220 learn more things. We're looking for, um, we're looking for people with voice problems, people
00:30:42.220 that have problems that they want to get, uh, passed and can't. So we're looking for other people as
00:30:47.580 well on that. Roger, thank you. Absolutely. Appreciate it. Thank you so much.
00:30:52.580 This is the best of the Glenn Beck program.
00:30:58.860 Sarah, would you play the woke farmer one more time, just so I make sure that I'm right about what
00:31:04.900 he was saying? Here's the woke farmer. Yesterday I went into a church with the Kima Armstrong and I
00:31:12.660 protested these white supremacists. The pastor of the church is a ice leader in the city. How can you
00:31:19.700 be a pastor and be a ice agent? Easy. They want to come after me? Well, how can they live so
00:31:28.900 comfortably while the people in from Somalia that are in this country legally, they have
00:31:34.660 citizenship. Can't even go to their mosque and pray. How do they deserve any different?
00:31:42.420 Come and get me Pam Bondi. You traitor. Well, she did. So I don't need more. She did. I just want to
00:31:48.340 make sure I heard it right. That these people who have their legal citizens have been arrested
00:31:55.460 and cannot go to their mosques. Now, we have arrested ICE over the last 12 months. Give me a rough
00:32:04.020 estimate, Ricky. A couple hundred thousand. A couple hundred thousand. A couple hundred thousand.
00:32:09.240 In one fiscal year. Okay. So in the last year, ICE has arrested a couple of hundred thousand. And his
00:32:16.980 thing is we are arresting, uh, U S citizens, people who are here legally don't have an arrest
00:32:24.900 warrant and they're citizens. Okay. First of all, ICE doesn't have a right to pick up a citizen. So
00:32:30.900 immediately I'm with you. If they start picking up citizens, I'm with you. That's not their job.
00:32:35.620 They can't do that. You can't deport somebody who is a citizen. Although I would love to try with
00:32:39.860 Ilhan Omar. Um, the, uh, the next thing is okay. So why is it ABC, NBC, CBS, all of these liberal
00:32:50.580 news organizations who, why isn't Don Lemon? Let's try that. Why hasn't Don Lemon produced the names of
00:32:58.260 all of the people who have been arrested, who are Somali American citizens without a record that have
00:33:07.620 been scooped up. Now I just said, my guess is because none have been, I was wrong. I was wrong.
00:33:16.580 In the last year, the number of citizens that citizens that have been arrested by ICE
00:33:24.260 is two. One was released a couple of hours into it. The other one, they didn't sort it out until the
00:33:31.220 next day, but they were immediately released once the problem was found. So
00:33:38.020 two, two Somali citizens, two. That's what he was talking about. Somali citizens, citizens who are
00:33:45.300 being scooped up. The number is two and they're not in jail and they're not in trouble. And you have
00:33:53.860 a hundred or 200,000 arrests going on in hostile situations. You have to admit that a mistake might
00:33:59.620 be made. You correct that mistake immediately by releasing them. As soon as you know, you release
00:34:04.900 them, I apologize. Sorry. We had no right to do that to you. So where is, where, where are all these
00:34:12.180 victims? Where are all these victims? These victims are all made up people. They're all made up. They're
00:34:18.900 made up. That's why they concentrate on what was her name, Renee, something or other. And I'm not
00:34:24.580 going to remember her name and I don't feel bad about that. Um, you know, you drive your car into a
00:34:31.220 cop. I've, I've, I've, I've been clear on this since practically the year I was born. You go after
00:34:37.900 the cops. You don't, you behave in a reckless way with the cops. You put them in danger. Good luck with
00:34:46.040 that. Good luck with that. They're the ones with the force. They're the ones with a gun. You're going
00:34:51.060 to lose. Okay. So don't do that. That's a rule of thumb. I live by. And so do my kids. Don't put cops
00:34:59.680 in danger. You can disagree with them. Not the time to discuss it. Do what they say, move on,
00:35:07.140 then come back with a big ass attorney. They're not doing that. Why? Because they know they have
00:35:14.420 nothing. And so these politicians, these organizations whip these people into a frenzy with
00:35:22.120 absolute lies. Oh man. And that is, I think that's the hardest thing. That's the hardest thing that
00:35:30.540 we have to get over is, are the lies. And there are lies on our side too, by the way. Um, apparently
00:35:37.780 I'm being paid by the, by the Jews. And it was very suspicious that my children
00:35:43.500 were that close to Charlie Kirk when he died. That's the latest. Uh, and by the way, you don't
00:35:50.420 have to worry about me. The people who are spreading that don't worry about me. You're dealing with
00:35:55.500 Tanya now and mama bear. Mama bear is a monster. When you wake her up in the middle of the night,
00:36:04.960 say something about her children. Don't worry about me. I'm the least of your worries. Say one
00:36:11.000 more thing about my children and Charlie Kirk, one more. And I'm going to let her walk out the front
00:36:18.080 door with your address. Uh, we have lies everywhere. And that's why it is so important to speak the truth
00:36:27.940 and speak with clarity. And it is hard. I know, but if you don't know for sure, don't say it. If you
00:36:36.100 don't know if that's AI or that you can verify that fact, don't repost it. Don't send it to people.
00:36:44.480 This, let me just share one thing with you before we end the week. Truth still exists.
00:36:52.780 Responsibility still matters. And if you want to remain free, we have to choose both of those
00:37:03.600 things. We have to choose truth and responsibility, or we're all going to lose everything. There's not
00:37:10.540 going to be a winner in this. We all lose everything. And history is so clear, man. I wish more people
00:37:18.360 knew about history. You know what? I've decided people on the left are just like teenagers.
00:37:23.220 You can tell a teenager over and over again, look, I did this when I was your age. It's not going to
00:37:27.220 work out for you. Here's what's going to happen. You don't know. You're just don't do it. You're
00:37:31.740 not the right person to talk to me about it. Well, all right, whatever. It's going to leave a mark.
00:37:37.880 You know it's not. You're so pessimistic. Whatever. And you try for a while, you know,
00:37:44.000 and, but at 17, you're like, go for it. Just go for it. Yep. Run towards that plate glass window.
00:37:51.720 Cause I'm here. You're smarter. I mean, you get to that point at some point,
00:37:55.260 but you know, it's amazing. They grow up and suddenly they're like, wow. You know,
00:38:03.740 if I run towards that plate glass window, I could slip and fall. And that would be a bad thing. Cause
00:38:08.340 I could go through that window. And then you have to sit there quietly and just be like, wow,
00:38:13.680 I never thought of it that way. Huh? That's, that's good. How did you, how did you come up with
00:38:18.020 that? Well, not from you. Okay. I know I wasn't saying that. I just really, it's really a great
00:38:22.040 idea. Thank you. It takes until they're 40. Maybe if we're lucky before they come back and go,
00:38:27.800 you know what? I was really stupid. I'm telling you people on the left are teenagers grow up, grow up.
00:38:35.700 History matters. Not everybody was an imbecile who lived in the past. You're not the genius you
00:38:46.300 thought you were when you were 16 or 17 years old. And I know because I was 16 or 17 and I thought I
00:38:53.420 was a genius. Civilizations don't collapse because their enemies are strong. We collapse because the
00:39:03.860 citizens forget who they are because we true, we trade truth for comfort and responsibility for
00:39:11.200 grievance. Isn't that what we've done? We have traded responsibility for grievance and character
00:39:19.120 doesn't matter anymore. Convenience is what matters. And slowly, but surely, almost really politely,
00:39:28.420 we surrender all of the habits that made us who we were, who we are, what got us here.
00:39:38.600 And the great lie of today is that chaos is normal and that somebody else is going to show up and fix
00:39:46.080 it for us and that institutions can replace conscience and systems will substitute for virtue.
00:39:51.900 They never have. They never will. Hey, teenagers, listen up. You're not going to like the sound of
00:39:57.560 it, but that doesn't work that way. Every free society has rested on exactly the same foundations.
00:40:05.180 Citizens capable of self-government because they govern themselves first. What is it that Jordan Peterson
00:40:11.720 talked about? Make your bed, clean your room. What is that? Govern yourself. Do the things that you
00:40:18.640 know you have to do. Do those things first. My message to you is we've had a great week.
00:40:33.120 Been a scary week. Scary things are coming our way. Gold and silver off the charts. I've always told you,
00:40:41.480 you know, world's going to be an absolute chaos when gold hits $5,000 an ounce. Well, I think we're here.
00:40:48.200 Because gold is almost at $5,000 an ounce. And they're now saying it's going to be $7,000 an
00:40:54.760 ounce. Can you imagine how much chaos the world's going to be in? Imagine how much nobody's going
00:40:58.560 to believe anything from anybody when it hits $7,000 an ounce. So the message to you today is
00:41:05.820 don't be afraid. Just wake up. Don't outsource any of your thinking. Don't surrender to a crowd.
00:41:13.320 Don't do it. Don't confuse compassion with surrender, tolerance with silence or unity,
00:41:19.380 you know, with obedience. None of that stuff. Get married. Build a strong family. Find your purpose
00:41:27.420 with your family and your children. Because that's the only thing. Take it from a guy
00:41:33.740 who really thought in my 20s that fame and fortune and everything else is what gives a life purpose and
00:41:43.700 meaning. It's a fraud. It's a lie. The only thing that gives your life meaning is your family,
00:41:52.300 is your children, is your relationship with them, is your relationship with God,
00:41:58.060 your relationship with truth. Those are the only things that matter.
00:42:06.140 And that's something that you have to choose every single day. Those things just don't happen.
00:42:13.800 It's a choice.
00:42:15.140 That's what I've learned this week.
00:42:28.640 And I think that's the most important message I can share with you this week.
00:42:34.520 We're headed in the right direction. It's going to get really tough from here.
00:42:38.460 But just concentrate on the things that are true. Fight over those things. Fight for those things.
00:42:48.160 That are real and meaningful. And all of those things start inside of you.
00:42:57.960 Investing is all about the future. So what do you think is going to happen?
00:43:01.960 Bitcoin is sort of inevitable at this point.
00:43:04.440 I think it would come down to precious metals.
00:43:06.680 I hope we don't go cashless.
00:43:09.140 I would say land is a safe investment.
00:43:11.700 Technology, companies, solar energy.
00:43:13.820 Robotic pollinators might be a thing.
00:43:16.480 A wrestler to face a robot? That will have to happen.
00:43:19.760 So whatever you think is going to happen in the future, you can invest in it at Wealthsimple.
