00:00:00.000 Hey, it's Tuesday. Got a great, kind of a pre-show for tomorrow's broadcast.
00:00:05.400 Tomorrow night at 8 p.m., Blaze TV is having another special on Ukraine.
00:00:10.420 This is part two. It's a three-part series.
00:00:13.560 This one, kind of, we go into just a little bit today
00:00:16.740 about what was happening in Congress with Alexander Vindman.
00:00:22.240 I certainly would support research like that
00:00:26.780 if I had an opportunity to subscribe to a service that would make sure
00:00:30.180 that there was more of that type of programming out there that exposed the truth.
00:00:33.440 What a weird thing, you bring that up and interrupt me for that, because you can.
00:00:36.720 You just go to blazetv.com slash Glenn.
00:00:39.920 Glad I interrupted you.
00:00:41.220 But I only will go to websites that have promo codes.
00:00:43.740 Oh, promo code Glenn will get you 10% off.
00:00:46.780 Anyway, so we talk a little bit about Vindman, who is in testifying today,
00:00:52.260 and I know exactly what the press is going to say,
00:00:56.420 because they already said it before he testified.
00:00:59.020 But we take that apart and make you look at it in maybe perhaps a different way.
00:01:04.180 We also give you an elevator pitch.
00:01:06.280 I'd like the GOP to, you know, maybe start to defend and say,
00:01:10.000 hey, wait a minute, there might be something of national interest there.
00:01:14.060 We talk about Katie Hill, and she's a victim, you know,
00:01:18.280 because everybody is sexting, and everybody has naked.
00:01:22.200 I don't have naked pictures of myself.
00:01:23.740 And I don't even want to think about naked pictures of myself.
00:01:28.860 Don't do that.
00:01:30.400 But we talk about her latest defense, all on today's podcast.
00:01:34.380 You're listening to The Best of the Glenn Beck Program.
00:01:49.980 So Stu and I want to take you today and tomorrow
00:01:53.500 through everything that's happening with the impeachment
00:01:57.060 and kind of explain it to you.
00:01:59.940 But we, I want you to, I want you to understand both sides,
00:02:05.320 and I want you to really understand what the left is claiming,
00:02:10.340 and that is that Rudy Giuliani went over and met with a bunch of people,
00:02:16.800 the former prosecutors, the two former,
00:02:19.820 they're like the, you know, the attorney general.
00:02:24.740 Two of them, the one that Joe Biden fired and the one that said,
00:02:29.460 oh, well, now we've got a really good guy.
00:02:31.260 He met with both of them at the same time,
00:02:34.400 and they both said exactly the same things to him.
00:02:38.400 Now they're saying that this is when Rudy Giuliani developed this conspiracy theory,
00:02:44.600 and he took all of that information,
00:02:47.340 and he fed it to a really bad reporter.
00:02:50.460 And this bad reporter started laying the seeds of conspiracies,
00:02:56.460 and there was a shadow government that started because of Rudy Giuliani.
00:03:02.100 And then Trump gets on the phone call,
00:03:04.100 and he says, basically, I need you to make this true,
00:03:09.420 or I'm not going to pay you.
00:03:13.700 That's, in a nutshell, what they are saying.
00:03:17.760 Now, they also have this other story of four people that Rudy Giuliani was representing.
00:03:27.000 They were corrupt.
00:03:28.140 They gave money to Pete Sessions.
00:03:31.660 Pete Sessions, of course, was corrupt.
00:03:33.620 Then they wrote a check to a, what do you call them,
00:03:39.560 a super PAC for Donald Trump of almost $400,000.
00:03:43.840 And so Donald Trump is corrupt.
00:03:47.320 I don't know about that stuff.
00:03:49.960 I don't know who those guys really were.
00:03:52.660 I'm trusting the Justice Department on that particular part of the story.
00:03:57.760 And if there's something bad in there,
00:03:59.480 then everybody involved should go to jail,
00:04:02.040 no matter, let the chips fall where they may.
00:04:04.500 But don't confuse that
00:04:06.540 with the main part of the narrative.
00:04:10.320 And that is that Rudy Giuliani developed this conspiracy theory
00:04:16.220 using these two former attorney generals or general prosecutors from the Ukraine,
00:04:22.840 using their information to hijack our foreign policy
00:04:28.600 against the wishes of our ambassador.
00:04:35.700 And then Donald Trump said,
00:04:38.320 you better do it or I'm not going to pay you any money.
00:04:40.580 Now, the problem with this is,
00:04:45.600 is there's too many people that are saying,
00:04:49.440 yeah, well, he might have done this for Joe Biden.
00:04:53.600 Right, Stu?
00:04:55.900 Yeah.
00:04:57.060 He might have done this.
00:04:58.540 He might have had,
00:04:59.960 you know,
00:05:00.940 Donald Trump was only doing this because he wanted Joe Biden.
00:05:03.660 It's all political, right?
00:05:04.720 There's no U.S. interest here.
00:05:06.500 That's the main narrative driving this, right?
00:05:09.440 No U.S. interest.
00:05:10.520 Trying to win an election,
00:05:11.720 not trying to help the country.
00:05:12.940 Okay.
00:05:13.720 Well, that leaves out a couple of things.
00:05:15.760 That timeline,
00:05:16.600 and this is,
00:05:17.000 we're going to show this to you tomorrow,
00:05:18.620 and then we're going to hook it up to the real timeline
00:05:20.860 and show you how it all falls apart.
00:05:23.440 That timeline that the Democrats are pursuing now
00:05:26.900 on this impeachment
00:05:27.880 is only picking up in 2018.
00:05:31.980 So their entire timeline
00:05:34.120 is only like 18 months.
00:05:38.440 They say all this corruption happened in 18 months.
00:05:42.300 Well, now, that leaves out a lot of stuff.
00:05:44.880 That leaves out the fact that the prosecutors
00:05:47.720 were being blocked
00:05:49.280 from going to the United States
00:05:51.720 by the State Department
00:05:52.800 and by the embassy and the ambassador in Ukraine.
00:05:55.840 That shows,
00:05:58.080 that leaves out that they lost,
00:06:00.340 lost $7 billion of our money.
00:06:04.300 Where did that go?
00:06:05.840 There's massive corruption,
00:06:07.720 and the alarm bells are ringing in Ukraine,
00:06:10.560 and they're being blocked
00:06:12.220 every step of the way.
00:06:13.940 So let me not make this about Ukraine.
00:06:16.140 Let me tell you a different story.
00:06:18.300 Okay?
00:06:18.720 One I think you could relate to a little better.
00:06:20.880 Let's say that there is a bank.
00:06:26.340 It's the Bank of the U.S.
00:06:29.620 And we are the biggest investor in that bank.
00:06:35.280 And so we have all of our money.
00:06:37.620 You have all of your pension.
00:06:39.520 You have your savings account.
00:06:41.120 Your checking account.
00:06:42.340 You have it all in this one big bank.
00:06:45.460 And everyone's telling you,
00:06:47.100 this is the safest bank.
00:06:48.400 This is the greatest bank.
00:06:50.420 Nobody is telling you that
00:06:51.820 this bank just lost $8 billion of your money.
00:06:56.420 Okay?
00:06:57.580 And they're getting ready to put another $400 million into it.
00:07:01.500 This is your money.
00:07:04.800 You're going to put your salary
00:07:06.780 into that bank.
00:07:09.420 And no one has told you
00:07:10.980 that they already lost much of your savings.
00:07:13.660 Okay.
00:07:18.080 Well, there's some crack security team
00:07:21.200 put in by the last president of this bank.
00:07:25.800 And this crack security team
00:07:27.760 has had two leaders of this bank.
00:07:31.580 And this security team
00:07:34.220 has had two leaders of it.
00:07:36.140 And both of them have said the same thing.
00:07:38.120 The bank president is telling us
00:07:40.900 to turn off the alarm system at night.
00:07:45.340 And they're leaving the door open.
00:07:48.200 And the bank president
00:07:49.840 is letting some of your co-depositors in.
00:07:55.180 And they're just taking this money.
00:07:58.360 And so they run it up the flagpole
00:08:00.280 and they tell the president of the bank,
00:08:02.100 you know, the alarm system is on
00:08:03.960 and some people are coming in
00:08:05.380 in the middle of the night
00:08:06.080 and stealing all of this money.
00:08:07.960 And the bank president says,
00:08:09.460 that's ridiculous.
00:08:11.540 That's ridiculous.
00:08:13.840 And one of the people that you hired
00:08:15.940 to oversee your money
00:08:17.500 says, oh my gosh,
00:08:19.260 you have to fire this guy.
00:08:21.940 But the guy who's doing security says,
00:08:25.240 but wait a minute,
00:08:25.900 he's part of it, Mr. Bank President.
00:08:28.540 The guy who's,
00:08:30.100 that's ridiculous.
00:08:31.260 How could you possibly say
00:08:33.240 I would be a part of this?
00:08:35.720 I want to make sure
00:08:36.760 all of that money is safe.
00:08:40.280 You better fire him.
00:08:42.060 You better fire that guy,
00:08:43.460 Mr. Bank President.
00:08:45.200 And so the bank president says,
00:08:47.240 I'm going to do
00:08:47.720 the other biggest investors.
00:08:49.080 I got to do it.
00:08:49.800 I got to do it.
00:08:50.660 You're fired.
00:08:54.420 Now, other investors in this bank
00:08:57.440 have other problems
00:08:58.660 with this bank president.
00:09:00.560 And they hold
00:09:01.560 their shareholder meeting
00:09:02.720 and they throw
00:09:03.300 that bank president out
00:09:04.480 and they get a new bank president.
00:09:07.240 And there's a new guy
00:09:08.600 that the shareholders said
00:09:10.500 when, you know,
00:09:11.260 you got to fire this guy,
00:09:12.220 I want you to hire this guy
00:09:13.600 because this guy
00:09:14.400 will get the job done.
00:09:15.940 That guy comes in
00:09:17.300 and he finds the same thing.
00:09:19.780 Wait a minute.
00:09:20.160 There are some investors
00:09:21.000 coming in in the middle of the night
00:09:22.240 and taking the stuff
00:09:23.140 and the bank is leaving
00:09:25.420 the bank vault open at night
00:09:27.840 and they turn off
00:09:28.720 the alarm system.
00:09:30.100 I got to get this
00:09:31.100 to the shareholders.
00:09:32.060 The shareholders have to know.
00:09:36.120 How dare you?
00:09:39.120 How dare you?
00:09:40.900 So what happens?
00:09:42.220 So that guy
00:09:43.600 who was in charge of security
00:09:45.120 reaches out
00:09:46.240 to the last guy
00:09:47.480 who was in charge of security
00:09:48.800 and said,
00:09:49.240 is this the stuff
00:09:49.920 you were finding?
00:09:51.220 And they both thought,
00:09:52.080 yeah, right.
00:09:52.880 The bank door is open
00:09:53.960 and the alarm is off.
00:09:55.240 Yeah, right.
00:09:58.480 Okay.
00:09:59.560 What do I do?
00:10:00.480 Do I just bring it
00:10:01.160 to the bank?
00:10:01.540 No, last time I brought it
00:10:02.600 to the bank president,
00:10:03.420 he fired me.
00:10:04.540 So you can't bring it
00:10:05.440 to the bank president
00:10:06.260 and don't bring it
00:10:07.420 to the board of directors
00:10:08.440 because the board of directors
00:10:09.660 are part of it.
00:10:10.500 They're getting some
00:10:11.500 of the money.
00:10:13.080 We got to tell
00:10:13.860 the shareholders.
00:10:14.520 We have to tell the people
00:10:15.240 who have their deposits
00:10:16.140 in here.
00:10:17.340 I know.
00:10:17.940 Well, I tried to do that
00:10:19.040 and they keep blocking me.
00:10:20.240 Well, they're not going
00:10:20.720 to block me.
00:10:21.480 And so they gather up
00:10:23.780 all of this evidence
00:10:25.120 and they go to
00:10:26.340 one of the attorneys
00:10:27.900 of the board of directors
00:10:29.680 and say,
00:10:30.260 we got to get this
00:10:31.200 to the shareholders.
00:10:33.340 And they block,
00:10:34.760 that attorney blocks
00:10:36.120 the security guys
00:10:38.000 from getting it
00:10:39.060 to the shareholders
00:10:39.780 to warn anyone.
00:10:42.080 I got to get
00:10:43.040 this information.
00:10:44.060 Well, the two guys
00:10:45.240 who are in charge
00:10:45.840 of security
00:10:46.340 finally say,
00:10:47.100 you know what?
00:10:47.860 I know somebody.
00:10:49.240 I know somebody
00:10:50.740 who is in charge,
00:10:52.860 actually in charge now
00:10:54.280 of that fund.
00:10:55.080 He's a new guy.
00:10:56.280 And I know an attorney
00:10:57.840 who knows one of his attorneys.
00:11:01.260 And we got to get to him
00:11:03.320 because he'll take
00:11:04.760 this information
00:11:05.560 to the shareholders.
00:11:08.580 And so what happens?
00:11:11.540 They try to get it
00:11:12.800 to the attorney
00:11:13.720 and the attorney
00:11:14.680 hired by the shareholders,
00:11:16.660 the attorney says,
00:11:17.660 oh, I got to see this.
00:11:19.480 But wait,
00:11:19.960 I want to make sure
00:11:20.620 everybody knows.
00:11:22.560 Hang on just a second.
00:11:24.280 And he goes public
00:11:26.280 and goes on the record
00:11:28.440 and goes to the media
00:11:30.240 and says,
00:11:31.680 I've heard really bad rumors
00:11:33.600 that our money
00:11:34.320 is being stolen
00:11:35.420 out of the bank
00:11:37.000 and the bank
00:11:37.960 is turning off
00:11:38.900 the alarm at night
00:11:39.780 and they're leaving
00:11:40.760 the door open.
00:11:42.320 Now, I don't know
00:11:42.920 if any of that is true,
00:11:44.220 but I've met
00:11:45.160 with the two heads
00:11:46.000 of security,
00:11:46.680 the past one
00:11:47.580 and the current one.
00:11:48.860 And they're both
00:11:49.620 telling me the same thing.
00:11:50.840 And I have other people
00:11:52.040 saying the same thing as well.
00:11:53.560 And they're frantic
00:11:54.440 to get it.
00:11:56.080 In fact,
00:11:56.820 when they tried
00:11:57.480 to get that information
00:11:58.300 to you,
00:11:58.700 they've been trying
00:11:59.220 for three years.
00:12:01.980 Your board of trustees
00:12:03.300 have been blocking it.
00:12:05.780 They've been blocking
00:12:06.760 getting this information out.
00:12:08.700 So they gave me
00:12:10.060 all of the files
00:12:11.020 and I'm bringing it down
00:12:12.140 to police headquarters.
00:12:13.300 And he brings it down
00:12:15.540 to police headquarters.
00:12:17.400 And the guys
00:12:18.380 who did all the security
00:12:20.720 for the bank,
00:12:21.360 they're like,
00:12:21.620 don't bring it
00:12:22.000 to police headquarters.
00:12:22.800 They know about all this.
00:12:23.700 They know about this.
00:12:25.140 They're not going
00:12:25.520 to do anything.
00:12:27.360 But your representative
00:12:28.540 brings it to police headquarters
00:12:30.400 because that's what you do.
00:12:31.760 You present the evidence
00:12:32.640 and then they sit on it.
00:12:33.800 They do nothing.
00:12:35.320 Nothing.
00:12:37.640 Meanwhile,
00:12:38.920 you're being told
00:12:39.740 you've got to make
00:12:40.440 that deposit.
00:12:41.120 You have to have that.
00:12:42.420 You've got to put
00:12:42.900 all of that money
00:12:44.080 into that bank.
00:12:46.600 And your representative
00:12:47.980 says,
00:12:48.760 you know what?
00:12:50.720 I'm only putting it
00:12:51.760 in that bank
00:12:52.420 if I get
00:12:54.580 the bank
00:12:55.320 president
00:12:56.240 to say
00:12:57.720 we're investigating
00:12:58.980 all of these things.
00:13:00.560 I want to know
00:13:00.980 where the money went.
00:13:02.220 I want to know
00:13:03.000 who on the board
00:13:03.540 of trustees
00:13:04.160 is dirty.
00:13:05.540 I want to know
00:13:06.620 who was using
00:13:08.140 our money.
00:13:08.740 I want to know
00:13:09.220 who turned off
00:13:09.940 the alarm.
00:13:11.140 I want to know
00:13:11.680 who was responsible
00:13:12.800 for keeping
00:13:14.020 the vault door
00:13:14.840 open at night.
00:13:15.800 I want to know
00:13:16.640 why you were fired.
00:13:19.680 And when you announce
00:13:21.180 that you are going
00:13:22.140 to look into these things
00:13:23.420 because I want your ass
00:13:24.500 on the record,
00:13:25.320 you've already lost
00:13:26.780 seven billion dollars
00:13:28.280 of ours.
00:13:29.120 I'm not giving you
00:13:29.960 another four hundred
00:13:31.040 four hundred million.
00:13:32.760 I want to know.
00:13:37.240 Does anybody have
00:13:38.060 a problem with that?
00:13:39.580 Wouldn't that be
00:13:40.260 a responsible
00:13:41.180 thing a steward
00:13:43.480 of your money
00:13:44.140 would do?
00:13:46.980 Now that doesn't
00:13:47.880 mean that the bank
00:13:48.760 is dirty.
00:13:49.780 That doesn't mean
00:13:50.780 that what those
00:13:51.940 two guys said
00:13:52.740 was right.
00:13:53.400 But they have
00:13:54.360 all kinds
00:13:55.940 of documents.
00:13:57.100 They already
00:13:58.040 have put people
00:13:58.960 in jail for this
00:14:00.280 in their own
00:14:01.140 banking system.
00:14:03.720 Seems pretty
00:14:04.580 reasonable.
00:14:05.140 But what do
00:14:07.320 the board
00:14:07.680 of trustees do?
00:14:08.820 Some of the
00:14:09.160 board of trustees
00:14:09.820 say, oh my
00:14:10.940 gosh, look at
00:14:11.820 this.
00:14:12.860 Your attorney,
00:14:13.880 your representative
00:14:14.620 went over to
00:14:15.340 gather all this
00:14:16.100 information just
00:14:17.020 to smear this
00:14:17.920 bank.
00:14:18.500 And I believe
00:14:19.300 he was going
00:14:19.820 to try to rob
00:14:20.460 this bank.
00:14:21.260 I believe what
00:14:22.200 he was going
00:14:22.720 to do was tell
00:14:23.480 people to leave
00:14:24.320 the alarm off
00:14:25.140 and keep the
00:14:25.620 door open so
00:14:26.340 he himself could
00:14:27.220 go in and rob
00:14:27.920 the bank.
00:14:29.960 You would
00:14:30.580 never buy into
00:14:31.440 this.
00:14:32.540 You wouldn't be
00:14:33.420 fooled for a
00:14:34.320 second.
00:14:36.080 You would
00:14:36.840 know what
00:14:37.700 was going
00:14:38.240 on.
00:14:40.120 But because
00:14:40.940 we've made
00:14:41.740 this about
00:14:42.320 politics,
00:14:43.840 we refuse to
00:14:45.620 boil it down
00:14:46.400 and look at
00:14:47.220 it in the
00:14:48.220 light of day
00:14:48.860 and say,
00:14:49.760 this is
00:14:52.420 most likely
00:14:53.260 what was
00:14:53.860 happening.
00:14:56.940 This is the
00:14:57.780 best of the
00:14:58.320 Glenn Beck
00:14:58.740 program.
00:14:59.180 This is the
00:14:59.680 best of the
00:15:02.380 Glenn Beck
00:15:02.780 program.
00:15:04.320 like listening
00:15:10.780 to this
00:15:11.140 podcast.
00:15:11.840 If you're
00:15:12.300 not a
00:15:12.640 subscriber,
00:15:13.400 become one
00:15:13.860 now on
00:15:14.300 iTunes.
00:15:15.140 And while
00:15:15.380 you're there,
00:15:16.040 do us a
00:15:16.480 favor and
00:15:16.900 rate the
00:15:17.240 show.
00:15:18.080 California
00:15:18.680 is on fire
00:15:19.840 again.
00:15:22.160 They're
00:15:22.840 blaming it
00:15:23.460 again on
00:15:24.620 the power
00:15:25.700 companies.
00:15:27.360 I mean,
00:15:27.600 when is
00:15:28.320 California
00:15:28.720 going to
00:15:28.980 learn?
00:15:30.320 When is
00:15:30.540 California
00:15:30.980 going to
00:15:31.260 learn?
00:15:31.440 how many
00:15:32.980 people have
00:15:33.620 to die
00:15:34.180 in California
00:15:35.040 before they
00:15:36.960 realize you've
00:15:38.520 got to
00:15:39.400 clear the
00:15:40.400 underbrush?
00:15:42.100 They haven't
00:15:42.980 been interested
00:15:43.500 in doing that
00:15:44.140 because the
00:15:44.820 little furry
00:15:45.380 bunnies,
00:15:46.060 you know,
00:15:46.760 they might die
00:15:47.580 in it and
00:15:48.080 their habitat
00:15:48.660 will be,
00:15:49.380 you know,
00:15:49.960 disturbed.
00:15:50.660 Yeah,
00:15:51.280 yeah.
00:15:51.680 but everybody's
00:15:53.800 habitat is
00:15:54.500 disturbed and
00:15:55.900 more than
00:15:56.220 little furry
00:15:56.700 bunnies die
00:15:57.600 when you
00:15:58.260 don't do
00:15:58.720 controlled
00:15:59.220 burns and
00:15:59.760 you don't
00:16:00.320 clear out
00:16:01.360 the underbrush.
00:16:04.160 This is so
00:16:05.200 frustrating for
00:16:06.460 the rest of
00:16:07.240 us because
00:16:08.560 California,
00:16:09.460 we don't hate
00:16:10.800 you.
00:16:11.480 We'd like to
00:16:12.420 come visit you
00:16:13.300 from time to
00:16:13.980 time.
00:16:14.280 Well,
00:16:14.340 not you,
00:16:15.000 but your
00:16:15.900 weather.
00:16:16.980 We'd like to
00:16:17.820 come visit your
00:16:18.420 weather from
00:16:19.100 time to time.
00:16:19.940 You have the
00:16:21.240 greatest state,
00:16:22.880 the most
00:16:23.440 beautiful weather,
00:16:24.860 some of the
00:16:25.260 most beautiful
00:16:26.000 scenery.
00:16:27.120 You have the
00:16:27.940 Pacific Ocean.
00:16:30.080 You know,
00:16:30.700 a lot of us
00:16:31.200 would like to
00:16:31.700 live there,
00:16:32.220 but damn it,
00:16:33.740 you people keep
00:16:34.360 screwing it up
00:16:35.720 so bad that
00:16:37.040 no matter how
00:16:37.900 badly anybody
00:16:38.760 wants to live
00:16:39.560 there,
00:16:40.480 I'm sorry,
00:16:41.100 I know I'm
00:16:41.560 speaking from
00:16:42.180 my own personal
00:16:43.040 point of view.
00:16:43.940 I've always
00:16:44.820 wanted to live
00:16:45.700 in California.
00:16:46.780 I grew up on
00:16:47.560 the West Coast.
00:16:48.360 California is
00:16:49.120 beautiful.
00:16:49.720 It has the
00:16:50.700 weather I have
00:16:51.660 always wanted
00:16:52.600 to live in,
00:16:53.660 and they
00:16:54.800 continually
00:16:55.820 screw it up.
00:16:59.300 Now,
00:16:59.980 I can tell
00:17:01.260 you,
00:17:01.660 when you put
00:17:02.320 that policy
00:17:03.140 in,
00:17:04.280 I was
00:17:05.580 young,
00:17:06.280 my grandfather
00:17:07.040 was screaming
00:17:08.140 at the top
00:17:08.780 of his lungs,
00:17:09.580 these people
00:17:10.140 in California
00:17:10.900 are too
00:17:11.580 damn stupid
00:17:12.940 to live in
00:17:14.080 that state.
00:17:14.920 They're going
00:17:15.340 to end up
00:17:15.940 burning it
00:17:16.640 down to the
00:17:17.100 ground.
00:17:18.600 Well,
00:17:18.940 gee,
00:17:19.720 what are
00:17:20.200 you doing?
00:17:21.200 You're
00:17:21.680 burning it
00:17:22.240 down to
00:17:22.640 the ground,
00:17:23.100 and it's
00:17:23.500 not the
00:17:23.860 power company's
00:17:24.820 fault.
00:17:25.660 It's your
00:17:26.620 fault for
00:17:28.140 not wanting
00:17:29.760 to disturb
00:17:30.380 anyone's
00:17:31.100 habitat.
00:17:33.020 It is a
00:17:34.140 natural
00:17:34.840 process,
00:17:35.860 and if you
00:17:37.620 don't want a
00:17:38.340 wildfire,
00:17:39.460 you have to
00:17:40.100 have controlled
00:17:41.060 burns,
00:17:41.760 or you have to
00:17:42.620 go in there
00:17:43.260 and just clear
00:17:44.420 the underbrush
00:17:45.080 yourself and
00:17:46.120 burn it
00:17:46.560 someplace else.
00:17:49.460 Otherwise,
00:17:50.480 everyone's
00:17:51.600 habitat is
00:17:52.500 going to
00:17:52.840 be lost.
00:17:54.300 How many
00:17:54.660 fires do
00:17:55.560 you have
00:17:56.120 to have
00:17:56.800 before you
00:17:57.760 realize it?
00:17:58.620 It's not
00:17:59.060 global warming,
00:18:00.300 it's the
00:18:01.340 dumbasses that
00:18:02.460 are running
00:18:02.900 your forest
00:18:03.760 service.
00:18:05.840 I lose
00:18:06.560 my mind.
00:18:09.560 It's
00:18:09.720 increasingly
00:18:10.100 difficult to
00:18:10.680 make a
00:18:10.960 weather-based
00:18:11.560 argument when
00:18:12.340 the state is
00:18:12.960 constantly on
00:18:13.720 fire.
00:18:14.840 It doesn't
00:18:15.500 really matter
00:18:16.520 how nice
00:18:17.800 the weather
00:18:18.920 is when
00:18:19.640 it's 197,000
00:18:21.680 degrees right
00:18:22.380 where you
00:18:22.680 are.
00:18:23.640 That is the
00:18:24.880 problem right
00:18:25.420 now with
00:18:25.820 California.
00:18:27.500 All it is
00:18:28.360 is blame.
00:18:28.900 This electricity
00:18:31.380 company is
00:18:31.940 greedy, and
00:18:32.980 the earth
00:18:34.680 is warming,
00:18:35.280 and it's
00:18:36.200 like all
00:18:36.600 these things
00:18:37.180 except for
00:18:37.860 the actual
00:18:38.460 steps they
00:18:38.900 could be
00:18:39.140 taking.
00:18:40.660 Even if it
00:18:41.480 is global
00:18:42.160 warming and
00:18:42.760 the electric
00:18:43.180 company,
00:18:43.660 you know what
00:18:43.960 would stop
00:18:44.420 these from
00:18:44.820 burning out
00:18:45.240 of control?
00:18:47.220 Clearing the
00:18:47.940 underbrush.
00:18:49.500 Yeah, but
00:18:49.760 bunnies,
00:18:50.540 though.
00:18:50.920 Oh my gosh,
00:18:51.800 I can't,
00:18:53.100 I just can't
00:18:53.980 take it.
00:18:54.540 People,
00:18:55.040 these people,
00:18:56.120 you know what
00:18:56.720 they are?
00:18:57.060 They're the
00:18:57.300 people in the
00:18:57.740 Bible.
00:18:58.680 They're the
00:18:58.960 people in the
00:18:59.400 Bible that just
00:19:00.060 get destroyed,
00:19:00.900 and you're
00:19:01.080 like,
00:19:01.940 well, how
00:19:02.540 didn't you
00:19:02.840 see that one
00:19:03.460 coming?
00:19:04.760 You know,
00:19:05.060 you're the
00:19:05.260 ones in
00:19:05.580 the Bible
00:19:05.840 that you're
00:19:06.200 reading about
00:19:06.600 and you're
00:19:06.820 like, no,
00:19:07.640 no, don't
00:19:08.620 do that.
00:19:09.280 Did you read
00:19:09.960 three pages
00:19:10.740 before?
00:19:11.960 You're all
00:19:12.660 going to be
00:19:13.000 wiped out.
00:19:13.920 That is
00:19:14.600 exactly what
00:19:15.400 we're watching
00:19:15.960 in California
00:19:16.900 and the rest
00:19:18.200 of the country,
00:19:18.880 quite frankly.
00:19:19.640 It's sad,
00:19:20.300 too, because
00:19:20.620 you know,
00:19:20.880 California is
00:19:21.340 one of those
00:19:21.760 states where
00:19:22.500 there's a real
00:19:23.860 split about
00:19:24.720 how these
00:19:25.080 things should
00:19:25.440 be handled,
00:19:26.060 and about
00:19:26.440 45% of the
00:19:28.220 population, I
00:19:29.020 think, has
00:19:29.340 the right
00:19:29.860 ideas.
00:19:31.760 They're like,
00:19:32.380 hey, this
00:19:33.080 seems insane.
00:19:34.120 Why are we
00:19:34.440 spending all
00:19:34.880 this money,
00:19:35.540 and why are
00:19:36.140 we doing
00:19:36.500 things this
00:19:37.020 way, and
00:19:37.420 why aren't
00:19:37.640 we dealing
00:19:37.980 with it?
00:19:38.080 Well, we
00:19:38.580 have a
00:19:39.000 drought.
00:19:39.520 Of course, we
00:19:40.040 haven't built
00:19:40.800 a reservoir
00:19:41.580 since 1972,
00:19:44.100 but I don't
00:19:45.580 think more
00:19:46.120 people live
00:19:46.880 in the state
00:19:47.460 than they
00:19:47.880 did in
00:19:48.500 1972.
00:19:49.520 All that
00:19:51.760 45% of
00:19:52.980 people who
00:19:53.440 completely
00:19:53.960 disagree with
00:19:55.360 the way the
00:19:55.800 state is run,
00:19:57.120 they are
00:19:58.060 victims of
00:19:58.640 this, right?
00:19:59.440 I mean, they
00:19:59.820 just sit there
00:20:00.320 and have to
00:20:00.680 deal with it
00:20:01.120 every year,
00:20:01.640 and it's
00:20:02.800 got to be
00:20:03.080 really frustrating,
00:20:04.200 man.
00:20:04.400 I mean,
00:20:04.660 you know,
00:20:05.940 this is why
00:20:07.480 I like a
00:20:07.980 state that
00:20:09.000 I think
00:20:09.820 thinks about
00:20:10.720 things the
00:20:11.040 right way
00:20:11.340 most of the
00:20:12.060 time.
00:20:12.600 Not all the
00:20:13.000 time, but
00:20:13.340 most of the
00:20:13.720 time.
00:20:14.500 It's getting
00:20:14.820 a little scary
00:20:15.460 here.
00:20:15.880 I grew up
00:20:16.480 in Connecticut.
00:20:17.600 I was born
00:20:18.040 in New York.
00:20:18.620 I live in
00:20:19.800 a lot of
00:20:20.280 states where
00:20:20.900 I was the
00:20:21.700 victim of
00:20:22.320 the government's
00:20:23.060 policies.
00:20:24.120 It's nice to
00:20:24.620 be in a state
00:20:25.020 like Texas
00:20:25.580 where the
00:20:26.420 alternate is
00:20:27.340 reality.
00:20:28.420 These power
00:20:29.480 companies,
00:20:30.060 they're causing
00:20:30.520 sparks.
00:20:31.380 We should
00:20:31.720 shut down
00:20:32.240 all the
00:20:32.560 power.
00:20:33.200 They shut
00:20:33.560 down all
00:20:33.900 the power.
00:20:34.380 These power
00:20:34.900 companies are
00:20:35.500 greedy.
00:20:35.920 They don't
00:20:36.180 want people
00:20:36.620 to have
00:20:36.940 power.
00:20:41.440 This is the
00:20:42.600 best of the
00:20:43.120 Glenn Beck
00:20:43.540 program.
00:20:48.620 Hey, it's
00:20:55.560 Glenn, and
00:20:56.180 if you like
00:20:56.480 what you hear
00:20:56.840 on the
00:20:57.080 program, you
00:20:57.700 should check
00:20:58.100 out Pat
00:20:58.720 Gray Unleashed.
00:21:00.220 His podcast
00:21:00.820 is available
00:21:01.440 wherever you
00:21:02.140 download your
00:21:02.820 favorite podcast.
00:21:04.240 Hi, it's
00:21:04.560 Glenn.
00:21:05.140 If you're a
00:21:05.640 subscriber to
00:21:06.220 the podcast,
00:21:06.880 can you do us
00:21:07.320 a favor and
00:21:07.900 rate us on
00:21:08.780 iTunes?
00:21:09.680 If you're not
00:21:10.260 a subscriber,
00:21:10.960 become one
00:21:11.380 today and
00:21:12.180 listen on your
00:21:12.980 own time.
00:21:13.780 You can
00:21:14.000 subscribe on
00:21:14.700 iTunes.
00:21:15.380 Thanks.
00:21:15.660 I can't
00:21:16.920 take the
00:21:17.260 Katie Hill
00:21:17.700 stuff.
00:21:18.640 This is the
00:21:19.300 woman from
00:21:19.940 California who
00:21:21.800 is now just
00:21:23.560 being persecuted.
00:21:25.180 Now, she
00:21:25.940 resigned.
00:21:26.680 She didn't have
00:21:27.180 to resign.
00:21:27.820 She could
00:21:28.160 have stood
00:21:29.700 up against
00:21:30.260 the ethics
00:21:30.840 committee, and
00:21:32.300 she could
00:21:32.620 have said,
00:21:33.180 hey, this
00:21:33.640 isn't right.
00:21:34.680 But the
00:21:35.000 reason why
00:21:35.360 she didn't
00:21:36.740 is because
00:21:37.420 she has no
00:21:38.400 way to win.
00:21:39.600 No, she
00:21:40.160 just didn't
00:21:40.540 want to be a
00:21:40.880 distraction for
00:21:41.760 all these
00:21:42.080 important priorities
00:21:43.020 for the
00:21:43.420 American people,
00:21:44.200 Glenn.
00:21:44.360 Sure.
00:21:44.520 So what the
00:21:45.980 ethics committee
00:21:46.740 would have
00:21:47.080 said is it's
00:21:48.200 against our
00:21:49.000 rules to
00:21:50.700 engage in any
00:21:51.800 kind of sexual
00:21:52.620 relationship with
00:21:53.620 an underling, a
00:21:54.600 staffer in your
00:21:55.580 office.
00:21:56.220 Consensual or
00:21:56.600 not.
00:21:57.040 Right.
00:21:57.700 So that's the
00:21:59.360 house ethics
00:22:00.180 rule that she
00:22:01.480 violated.
00:22:02.520 And everyone
00:22:04.020 who gets caught
00:22:05.380 doing this gets
00:22:06.460 the same punishment.
00:22:07.940 That's not true.
00:22:08.740 Donald Trump
00:22:09.400 has assaulted
00:22:10.560 thousands of
00:22:11.780 women.
00:22:12.360 Donald Trump,
00:22:13.260 was he in the
00:22:14.120 House of
00:22:14.480 Representatives?
00:22:15.320 I don't think
00:22:16.140 so.
00:22:16.440 This is Nancy
00:22:17.240 Pelosi's house,
00:22:18.280 by the way.
00:22:19.260 There's not,
00:22:19.960 there's, you
00:22:20.260 know, I got, I
00:22:20.780 got news for you.
00:22:21.440 If Donald, because
00:22:22.040 this is one of the
00:22:22.500 arguments that
00:22:23.220 Katie Hill herself
00:22:24.300 is throwing out
00:22:25.680 there that it's
00:22:26.180 well, Donald Trump
00:22:26.740 did all these
00:22:27.140 terrible things.
00:22:27.680 How come he
00:22:27.960 didn't get in
00:22:28.340 trouble?
00:22:28.660 It's because he's
00:22:29.400 a man.
00:22:29.940 I got news for
00:22:30.880 you.
00:22:31.100 If Donald Trump
00:22:32.300 had a picture
00:22:33.460 naked brushing
00:22:35.480 the hair of an
00:22:36.360 underling, I, it
00:22:38.260 would be pretty
00:22:38.840 big news.
00:22:39.360 Now, knowing
00:22:40.640 Donald Trump
00:22:41.340 pretty well, he
00:22:42.620 would not resign.
00:22:43.660 He would be
00:22:43.920 like, ah, screw
00:22:44.560 you.
00:22:44.960 I'm saying she's
00:22:45.560 hot and I'm
00:22:46.740 staying right
00:22:47.500 here.
00:22:48.400 In fact, I
00:22:49.100 hired four more
00:22:50.540 that.
00:22:51.600 I mean, it
00:22:52.180 might work for
00:22:53.600 him, but that
00:22:54.280 wouldn't work for
00:22:54.960 any other man.
00:22:56.040 Donald Trump
00:22:56.760 just has some
00:22:57.460 mojo going on
00:22:58.480 for him that we
00:22:59.420 honestly, no one
00:23:00.620 science will never
00:23:01.980 be able to solve
00:23:02.940 how he does it,
00:23:04.140 but he probably
00:23:05.420 would do that and
00:23:06.420 he might get away
00:23:07.200 with it.
00:23:07.640 And plenty of, I
00:23:08.740 mean, look at
00:23:09.360 one, you know,
00:23:10.120 look at one of
00:23:10.720 the people running
00:23:11.700 against him in the
00:23:12.340 Republican primary.
00:23:13.300 Mark Sanford had
00:23:14.100 an incredibly
00:23:15.320 promising career in
00:23:16.420 the Republican
00:23:16.840 party and was
00:23:17.640 caught cheating and
00:23:18.980 then thrown out of
00:23:19.880 office and then
00:23:20.520 thrown out of a
00:23:21.460 mind of losing a
00:23:22.180 congressional seat
00:23:22.880 later on.
00:23:24.060 I mean, we've
00:23:24.720 had how many
00:23:26.060 Republicans, plenty
00:23:27.360 of them thrown
00:23:28.740 out of office or
00:23:29.580 have left office
00:23:30.280 because of similar
00:23:31.220 scandals.
00:23:31.720 This has nothing
00:23:32.120 to do with women
00:23:33.100 and it's nothing
00:23:33.820 new.
00:23:34.240 She just happens
00:23:34.960 to be the first
00:23:35.860 woman.
00:23:36.360 Listen to her
00:23:37.860 argument right now.
00:23:38.740 Because these are
00:23:39.180 the things she's
00:23:40.020 tweeting as she's
00:23:41.420 leaving office.
00:23:42.200 Okay, all right.
00:23:42.780 The Katie Hill
00:23:43.400 saga is the first
00:23:45.120 shot in what will
00:23:45.880 become a longer
00:23:46.920 war.
00:23:48.100 99% of people
00:23:50.400 her age and
00:23:51.240 younger have
00:23:51.940 compromising images
00:23:53.180 of themselves out
00:23:54.120 there floating
00:23:54.640 around and those
00:23:55.820 images will be
00:23:57.740 weaponized.
00:23:58.500 Okay, hang on
00:23:58.980 just a second.
00:23:59.760 Wait.
00:24:01.240 It's not the
00:24:02.400 compromising image
00:24:04.000 that got her to
00:24:05.260 quit.
00:24:05.680 It was the
00:24:06.380 fact that she
00:24:07.320 was violating
00:24:08.180 the house rules
00:24:09.200 of having sex
00:24:11.020 with a staffer
00:24:12.440 and she had
00:24:13.240 several, several
00:24:15.160 relationships with
00:24:16.260 staffers.
00:24:17.160 Oh, and by the
00:24:17.900 way, hashtag
00:24:19.500 me too, they
00:24:21.300 thought that it
00:24:21.940 was toxic and
00:24:23.180 abusive.
00:24:24.140 Yes.
00:24:24.520 And so she is
00:24:25.460 and she initially
00:24:26.080 denied those and
00:24:27.220 then she had to
00:24:27.800 admit some of them.
00:24:28.960 Some of them she
00:24:29.520 does not deny.
00:24:30.340 But, and some
00:24:33.680 of them she still
00:24:34.280 continually does
00:24:35.620 deny to this day
00:24:36.520 and blames it on
00:24:37.140 her abusive husband.
00:24:38.120 Now, I don't know
00:24:38.560 who her husband is.
00:24:39.260 He may be a
00:24:39.700 terrible, he may
00:24:40.340 be horrible.
00:24:41.100 And, you know, it
00:24:42.040 seems like he, I
00:24:43.120 mean, at least
00:24:43.460 reportedly, he's the
00:24:44.400 one leaking these
00:24:45.080 photos to media
00:24:46.140 sources.
00:24:46.940 Not something that
00:24:47.860 even if you don't
00:24:48.860 like your wife, I
00:24:49.960 think is a great
00:24:50.680 idea.
00:24:51.320 But the bottom
00:24:52.040 line is she's the
00:24:52.800 one breaking the
00:24:53.400 rules here.
00:24:54.520 Yeah.
00:24:54.720 And it's not about
00:24:55.680 the pictures.
00:24:56.520 Look, if those
00:24:57.060 pictures were released
00:24:58.100 by a husband who
00:24:59.120 was getting a
00:24:59.740 divorce, it
00:25:01.040 would be bad.
00:25:02.160 But who would be
00:25:02.860 talking about
00:25:03.520 impeachment in
00:25:04.580 California?
00:25:05.620 Who would be
00:25:05.960 talking about a,
00:25:07.520 you know, a, an
00:25:10.580 ethics charge against
00:25:11.960 her?
00:25:12.320 And not to mention
00:25:12.740 she's doing
00:25:13.660 something that is
00:25:15.500 federally illegal,
00:25:17.300 which is smoking
00:25:18.000 pot in one of
00:25:18.760 these things.
00:25:19.240 Now, again, it's
00:25:19.800 legal in California.
00:25:20.760 It's legal in a lot
00:25:21.620 of states now.
00:25:22.300 Do I think it's
00:25:22.800 that big of a deal?
00:25:23.740 Not really.
00:25:24.580 But it is still a
00:25:25.440 federal crime.
00:25:26.600 And it's something
00:25:27.000 that we could note
00:25:27.980 as a congressman.
00:25:28.980 Now, it looks like
00:25:29.400 if you're an
00:25:29.680 average Joe, maybe
00:25:31.400 you don't have to
00:25:31.780 hit every single
00:25:32.600 federal law.
00:25:33.320 I mean, just think,
00:25:33.980 back in the 80s, it
00:25:35.080 was, I smoked, but I
00:25:36.480 never inhaled.
00:25:37.100 Never inhaled.
00:25:37.720 I never inhaled.
00:25:38.600 Now it's like you're
00:25:39.380 caught naked, brushing
00:25:41.620 the hair of an intern,
00:25:43.360 and you've got a bong
00:25:44.600 in your hand.
00:25:45.260 And possibly a Nazi
00:25:46.420 tattoo by your pubic
00:25:48.180 area.
00:25:48.600 Right.
00:25:48.960 But don't worry
00:25:50.040 about it.
00:25:50.660 Okay.
00:25:51.080 I don't actually believe
00:25:51.900 it was a Nazi tattoo,
00:25:52.740 but that's besides the
00:25:53.340 point.
00:25:53.660 So the next one she
00:25:54.520 tweets, Katie Hills
00:25:55.440 tweets an article from
00:25:56.900 Time.
00:25:57.580 Katie Hills, the first
00:25:58.500 millennial lawmaker to
00:25:59.620 resign because of nudes.
00:26:01.100 She won't be the last.
00:26:03.220 Okay.
00:26:03.580 Well, that sounds like a
00:26:04.520 threat.
00:26:04.960 Now, the second thing is
00:26:07.420 that's not why she
00:26:08.880 resigned.
00:26:09.180 Right.
00:26:09.440 Exactly.
00:26:09.940 But this is her tact,
00:26:11.180 right?
00:26:11.300 Correct.
00:26:11.440 Her tact is...
00:26:12.860 Change the narrative.
00:26:13.740 It's change the narrative
00:26:14.500 to, I'm like everybody
00:26:17.180 else who's a millennial.
00:26:18.400 Well, y'all have naked
00:26:19.040 pictures of ourselves.
00:26:19.900 There's nothing you can do.
00:26:21.040 In this time story.
00:26:22.540 This is like Weinstein
00:26:25.000 saying, hey, we all have
00:26:27.720 sex.
00:26:27.940 All executives want to
00:26:28.960 look at it.
00:26:29.500 All executives have sex.
00:26:30.280 Hooking up and sexually
00:26:31.440 harassing young hot models.
00:26:33.400 And we did it all the time
00:26:34.380 and everyone knows it.
00:26:35.420 Like, I mean, that's a
00:26:36.780 defense, I suppose.
00:26:38.580 But that doesn't change the
00:26:39.780 law on sexual harassment.
00:26:41.620 And it doesn't change the
00:26:42.480 law about underlings in
00:26:43.820 Congress.
00:26:44.880 In the Time article,
00:26:45.960 though, I'm fascinated by
00:26:47.060 this.
00:26:47.660 And I don't know why I'm
00:26:48.440 fascinated by this more than
00:26:49.360 anything else.
00:26:49.940 But it says one 2015
00:26:51.900 study found that like
00:26:53.700 Hill, 82% of adults
00:26:57.200 had sexted in the past
00:26:59.360 year.
00:27:00.720 That can't possibly
00:27:03.760 be true.
00:27:04.460 Can it?
00:27:05.300 If that's true,
00:27:07.380 I surrender.
00:27:08.300 I know.
00:27:08.760 I just, I quit.
00:27:09.840 I'm going to the mountains
00:27:10.740 today.
00:27:11.220 If 82% of adults,
00:27:14.380 not just millennials,
00:27:15.220 adults, have sexted.
00:27:17.060 Now, does that mean
00:27:17.760 pictures?
00:27:18.280 I think that it's in this
00:27:19.920 context, right?
00:27:20.840 I mean, maybe it just means
00:27:22.200 a sexy comment or something
00:27:23.640 like that.
00:27:24.240 I don't know.
00:27:25.200 I don't know.
00:27:25.760 What is the technical
00:27:26.520 definition of sexting?
00:27:27.700 Can we figure that out?
00:27:28.880 I have some advice for
00:27:31.580 millennials.
00:27:32.140 I was actually the first
00:27:35.100 millennial.
00:27:35.820 People don't know this.
00:27:36.980 I, myself, was the first
00:27:38.340 millennial.
00:27:38.700 There's one study that says
00:27:40.220 millennials began in 1976.
00:27:42.440 And I was born on February
00:27:44.520 9th, 1976.
00:27:46.160 So the people in January,
00:27:47.480 screw them.
00:27:48.080 I was the first millennial.
00:27:49.360 So as the godfather of all
00:27:50.880 millennials, let me give you
00:27:51.820 some advice, millennials.
00:27:53.060 The only solution to having
00:27:54.900 lots of naked photos of
00:27:56.360 yourself out there is to be
00:27:58.040 sufficiently revolted by
00:27:59.840 yourself.
00:28:00.780 If you have such a horrific
00:28:03.180 opinion about how you look
00:28:05.400 on camera, you will never
00:28:06.920 take a photo.
00:28:07.680 It's never been a risk for
00:28:09.440 me because I am disgusted
00:28:12.080 by myself.
00:28:13.780 Now, if I happen to be...
00:28:15.280 I think that's healthy.
00:28:16.160 I think it is, too.
00:28:17.700 It's obviously saving careers
00:28:19.760 around the country.
00:28:21.180 There should be some body
00:28:22.440 shaming.
00:28:23.600 You should just body shame
00:28:24.820 yourself.
00:28:24.960 You should at least body
00:28:26.040 shame yourself.
00:28:26.660 Right.
00:28:27.580 That's okay.
00:28:28.300 We ought to be able to look
00:28:29.080 at ourselves.
00:28:29.640 You know who probably does
00:28:31.240 this?
00:28:31.420 So the people who wear, like,
00:28:34.680 you know, spandex.
00:28:36.800 Uh-huh.
00:28:37.600 But are my weight, but about
00:28:40.240 eight inches shorter?
00:28:42.280 That's a hell of a package
00:28:43.540 you're talking about.
00:28:44.580 You've seen it.
00:28:45.640 You've seen it.
00:28:46.660 Well, that's what I mean,
00:28:47.340 too.
00:28:47.580 And this is why I'm so
00:28:48.580 fascinated by this.
00:28:49.460 82% of adults includes all
00:28:52.100 of the most hideous people
00:28:54.260 you see when you go out.
00:28:56.180 It's not just Victoria's
00:28:57.520 Secret models we're talking
00:28:58.460 about.
00:28:58.940 82% of adults.
00:29:00.920 And you know what?
00:29:01.700 Adults means what?
00:29:02.900 People who are 90?
00:29:04.740 I mean, it's everybody,
00:29:05.920 right?
00:29:06.140 I mean, if that study,
00:29:07.260 I mean, it just can't be
00:29:08.440 true.
00:29:09.060 Well, the definition is
00:29:10.460 sexually explicit picture
00:29:12.120 or sexually explicit verbiage.
00:29:16.700 Okay.
00:29:17.280 So that, so it could just be
00:29:18.420 a sexual comment to someone
00:29:21.680 else.
00:29:22.040 Okay.
00:29:22.600 I mean, I still don't think
00:29:24.420 82% is possible, but this is
00:29:26.400 Katie Hill's argument.
00:29:27.260 Her next one is, this is a form
00:29:29.300 of technological domestic
00:29:31.100 violence.
00:29:31.940 Oh, shut up.
00:29:34.200 No, it's me too.
00:29:36.000 Yeah.
00:29:36.700 You were using your power over
00:29:39.860 interns.
00:29:40.860 This is what they said.
00:29:42.820 Yeah.
00:29:43.620 They were very uncomfortable.
00:29:45.160 They thought it was exploitative.
00:29:47.280 They were uncomfortable because
00:29:49.740 they didn't know what to do.
00:29:51.800 This is, this is everything that
00:29:53.960 you said about, you know, any
00:29:55.600 man with power.
00:29:56.780 Right.
00:29:57.060 And I, she has power.
00:29:58.360 They didn't know what to do.
00:29:59.600 And look, I think in large part,
00:30:01.780 that's a BS description of what
00:30:04.160 me too is the idea that is, you
00:30:06.280 know, women don't have the
00:30:08.660 ability, the, the agency, the,
00:30:12.680 the, the intelligence to make
00:30:15.280 their own decisions about who
00:30:16.820 they want to make out with or go
00:30:18.400 to bed with is a completely
00:30:20.720 demeaning thing to say about
00:30:22.920 women.
00:30:23.240 If you are, if you're like
00:30:24.860 Monica Lewinsky, they keep
00:30:26.280 throwing her in this me too
00:30:27.160 thing.
00:30:27.780 She loved the situation.
00:30:29.720 She was in love with Bill
00:30:30.660 Clinton, right?
00:30:31.240 She had to her own words.
00:30:32.300 She was 23, 24 years old.
00:30:35.060 She was an adult.
00:30:36.840 Okay.
00:30:37.300 Now, yes, he's the president of
00:30:39.380 the United States, but she is
00:30:41.160 also, he's making terrible
00:30:42.340 decisions that have been covered
00:30:43.300 at wide range.
00:30:44.240 She also was making a bad
00:30:45.960 decision in this particular
00:30:47.060 situation.
00:30:47.600 And you go to this thing as
00:30:49.100 well.
00:30:49.640 Adults get to make their own
00:30:51.060 decisions.
00:30:51.500 We don't take away their
00:30:52.920 agency because they happen to
00:30:55.000 only be five years into
00:30:56.700 adulthood.
00:30:57.820 Okay.
00:30:58.340 That is, you are responsible
00:31:00.060 for your own actions, just
00:31:02.220 like the executive is, is, is
00:31:04.240 responsible for their own
00:31:05.440 actions.
00:31:05.740 And that is something that
00:31:06.980 should be, we should be not
00:31:08.860 taking away from people.
00:31:10.920 We should be assigning it
00:31:11.780 more.
00:31:12.260 The idea that we are now
00:31:13.700 going to remove all
00:31:15.000 responsibility from people who
00:31:17.340 are multiple years inside of
00:31:19.960 adulthood is, is, is,
00:31:21.500 demeaning.
00:31:22.360 I don't know if I can go this
00:31:23.820 far.
00:31:25.500 I don't mean to be the
00:31:26.860 stick in the mug.
00:31:28.140 No, I understand you're
00:31:29.440 saying that when you're an
00:31:30.320 adult, you make decisions and
00:31:31.820 you have to live by them.
00:31:33.160 Yes.
00:31:33.420 But that means, that means
00:31:38.260 that Sean Spicer cannot blame
00:31:41.100 anyone else for the dancing
00:31:42.780 with stars.
00:31:43.960 I mean, I don't, that's, there
00:31:46.120 are exceptions here.
00:31:47.600 I mean, I don't care how old
00:31:48.940 you are.
00:31:49.900 Really?
00:31:50.400 Are you responsible alone for
00:31:52.380 that abomination?
00:31:53.940 I don't think so.
00:31:57.540 The best of the Glenn Beck
00:31:58.900 program.
00:32:05.940 Hey, it's Glenn and you're
00:32:07.260 listening to the Glenn Beck
00:32:08.180 program.
00:32:08.880 If you like what you're hearing
00:32:09.860 on this show, make sure you
00:32:11.340 check out Pat Gray Unleashed.
00:32:13.320 It's available wherever you
00:32:14.900 download your favorite
00:32:15.960 podcasts.
00:32:16.620 There's a couple of pieces
00:32:18.000 of audio here that we
00:32:18.920 cannot leave until we play.
00:32:21.680 And one of them is the very
00:32:23.860 eloquent Al Sharpton trying
00:32:25.980 very, very, I mean, he's
00:32:27.940 really working hard here to
00:32:30.860 tell you the story of the
00:32:34.240 death of Al Baghdadi.
00:32:36.400 Here he is.
00:32:37.260 President Trump said that
00:32:39.080 because of the killing of Al
00:32:42.000 Baghdadi, Baghdadi, that the
00:32:45.480 world is a better place.
00:32:47.640 And I would give credit to
00:32:50.700 he and those that were
00:32:52.180 responsible for it.
00:32:53.720 But we have a lot of work that
00:32:56.340 must still be done in the area
00:32:58.700 of terrorism.
00:32:59.520 Right.
00:33:00.440 In the same area of the world
00:33:03.180 where Al Baghdadi was.
00:33:05.920 Come on, that was worth it.
00:33:10.800 There are just, you know,
00:33:11.920 that's worth getting up in the
00:33:12.880 day to hear.
00:33:13.380 The man can't speak, Glenn.
00:33:15.240 This is a problem.
00:33:16.900 There's a lot of jobs.
00:33:17.660 No, I have a problem with the
00:33:19.340 English language.
00:33:20.300 You do too.
00:33:21.100 That's true.
00:33:21.420 We all do.
00:33:21.980 But not quite like that.
00:33:23.720 Yeah.
00:33:23.820 He has this sort of like, you
00:33:24.780 know how if you have like a
00:33:26.340 shelf that is loaded with
00:33:28.640 trinkets and someone bumps into
00:33:30.680 it and like one of them falls
00:33:32.400 down and then another one falls
00:33:33.820 down, another one falls down.
00:33:34.940 That's his like, his like pace
00:33:36.820 of speaking.
00:33:37.980 It's just like, there's like,
00:33:39.060 they're just inexplicably coming
00:33:40.680 down to this.
00:33:41.400 I don't.
00:33:43.540 It's a bag.
00:33:45.120 Dab.
00:33:45.480 Play it again.
00:33:46.560 One more time.
00:33:47.220 Play it one more time.
00:33:48.280 President Trump said that
00:33:50.060 because of the killing of Al
00:33:53.000 Baghdadi, that the world is a
00:33:57.260 better place.
00:33:58.820 And I would give credit to him
00:34:01.900 and those that were responsible
00:34:03.740 for it, but we have a lot of
00:34:06.120 work that must still be done.
00:34:08.920 Why are you pausing on work?
00:34:10.420 Right.
00:34:10.660 We have a lot of work to do.
00:34:11.780 We have a lot of work to do
00:34:12.620 with terror.
00:34:13.140 We have a lot of work to do
00:34:16.320 with Baghdadi.
00:34:17.740 I think because in the
00:34:20.700 prompter, his eyes are looking
00:34:22.420 down and he sees Baghdadi.
00:34:24.880 He's like, oh no, here it comes
00:34:26.260 again.
00:34:26.940 It's revenge of all those G's and
00:34:28.800 H's.
00:34:29.240 They're all coming.
00:34:31.820 All right.
00:34:32.420 How about Katie Hill?
00:34:33.280 Can we hear the Katie Hill?
00:34:34.120 Here's Katie Hill.
00:34:36.300 The Republican Party is
00:34:37.120 overwhelmingly held by old white
00:34:38.980 men.
00:34:40.080 And that is not until that
00:34:42.440 changes, then the Republican
00:34:43.380 Party is literally incapable of
00:34:45.340 changing.
00:34:46.080 When you see reactions like
00:34:47.500 Lindsey Graham's or some of the
00:34:49.020 other senators, you can't help
00:34:51.100 but wonder, what are you afraid
00:34:52.600 of?
00:34:52.980 What's in your past?
00:34:54.180 Awesome.
00:34:55.080 That's a good question, Katie.
00:34:57.600 Katie, may I, you've heard the,
00:34:59.120 you know, he who has a glass
00:35:00.260 house shouldn't throw stones.
00:35:01.480 May I just update that for this
00:35:03.720 occasion?
00:35:05.000 Those that have glass bongs should
00:35:08.880 not be throwing stones.
00:35:11.620 I'm just saying.
00:35:13.020 I'm just saying.
00:35:14.160 Do we have time for Dave
00:35:15.120 Chappelle?
00:35:16.220 Chappelle was talking about
00:35:17.520 political correctness on the red
00:35:19.640 carpet.
00:35:21.180 Political correctness has its
00:35:22.720 face, its place.
00:35:24.280 Excuse me.
00:35:25.120 We all want to live in a polite
00:35:26.140 society.
00:35:27.120 We just have to kind of work on
00:35:28.640 the levels and come to an
00:35:29.520 agreement of what that actually
00:35:30.580 looks like.
00:35:31.500 I personally am not afraid of
00:35:32.920 other people's freedom of
00:35:33.820 expression.
00:35:34.560 I don't use it as a weapon.
00:35:35.880 It just makes me feel better.
00:35:37.180 And I'm sorry if I hurt anybody,
00:35:38.740 et cetera, et cetera, yada, yada,
00:35:39.760 yada, everything I'm supposed
00:35:40.900 to say.
00:35:45.340 He was accepting the award for
00:35:47.720 the Mark Twain Prize.
00:35:50.200 You know, at the Kennedy Center,
00:35:52.060 they do it every year.
00:35:53.080 And here's this guy who
00:35:55.600 everybody's saying, oh, no,
00:35:57.100 he's just he's great.
00:35:58.680 He just won the National
00:36:01.920 Award for Comedy
00:36:03.240 Writing, the Mark Twain
00:36:04.600 Prize.
00:36:05.740 I don't know.
