The Glenn Beck Program - Best of the Program ｜ 10⧸30⧸23

00:00:00.240 Hey, welcome to the Best of for Monday. A really great show for you today. I think you'll really enjoy it.

00:00:07.360 A lot to say about another attempt at gun grabs from the Biden administration.

00:00:14.840 Also, what is happening on our campuses, what's happening in protests all around the world.

00:00:21.000 The anti-Semitism is off the charts. Why your Second Amendment is really, really important at this time.

00:00:30.520 And my message directly to the officials of the State of Israel.

00:00:35.900 All of that and more coming up on today's podcast.

00:00:38.540 First, I know what it feels like when you try to explain what it's like to live with pain to somebody who doesn't live with pain.

00:00:44.960 Their eyes kind of glaze over and they're like, get over it. What are you talking about? I got pain too.

00:00:49.500 Once you've lived it, I can tell you the only thing that completely changed things for me was relief factor.

00:00:56.200 And even that I didn't want to try. My wife made me. Thank God for that. 1.00

00:01:00.840 But I didn't think it would work for me.

00:01:02.960 It's a supplement that helps ease all of the aches and pains in your body.

00:01:07.540 And I don't know why it works for me, but it does.

00:01:10.460 And if you feel like you've tried everything, maybe it's time to give Relief Factor a try.

00:01:14.480 Get your life back. The three-week quick start 1995 trial pack, not a drug, but developed by doctors.

00:01:20.340 And hundreds of thousands of people have ordered Relief Factor and 70% of them go on to order more.

00:01:24.780 It's relieffactor.com. ReliefFactor.com.

00:01:28.240 Call 1-800-4-RELIEF.

00:01:30.520 Relief Factor. Feel the difference.

00:01:32.420 All righty. Wow. Stu, how are you?

00:01:51.860 Pretty well, Glenn. Wonderful, wonderful times we're in.

00:01:54.640 And I'm glad to spend them with you.

00:01:57.160 Wow. Thank you.

00:01:58.480 That's really my desire.

00:01:59.860 If it is end of days, it's not really the one I was thinking that maybe, you know who I want by my side?

00:02:04.660 Yeah.

00:02:05.160 Stu.

00:02:05.460 Oh, yeah.

00:02:06.340 All right.

00:02:07.080 So let me just show you some things that happened over the weekend.

00:02:12.540 You'll roll the drone shot here over London.

00:02:17.060 There was a massive, massive pro-Palestinian London rally in London.

00:02:24.980 London. And it was, I mean, London's lost. London's lost.

00:02:35.260 I was just there. And there were parts of London you just didn't go to.

00:02:42.420 It's no-go zones. It's like Paris. Just no-go zones.

00:02:46.680 Look at how many supporters of the Palestinians there are.

00:02:54.040 You cannot have a nation that is divided between life and death.

00:02:58.660 Can't.

00:03:00.820 And I'm sorry, but if you're choosing Hamas, you are choosing death. 0.96

00:03:07.180 There is no ifs, ands, or buts. It is so very, even, I don't know if you heard this, Hillary Clinton came out and said,

00:03:16.020 anybody who's asking for a ceasefire for Hamas doesn't understand Hamas.

00:03:22.060 I mean, Hillary Clinton came out and said that.

00:03:26.160 And it's right.

00:03:27.280 Meanwhile, here in America, here's a UMass teacher that will not condemn Hamas.

00:03:36.800 Listen.

00:03:37.400 You want to have terrorism. Why?

00:03:40.280 I'm not, as I tried to explain.

00:03:43.280 There's no explaining. Will you condemn terrorism?

00:03:45.500 You're a professor here and you won't do it.

00:03:47.580 Do you think the Hamas attack was terrorism to begin with?

00:03:50.780 What's that?

00:03:51.140 Do you think the Hamas attack was terrorism to begin with?

00:03:53.900 I mean, like, I think that there's, like, how do you, how do you define, look, as something that's in the,

00:04:03.080 Is that a freedom?

00:04:03.740 Something that's in the Jewish voice for peace statement about this that, like, has really resonated with me is that reality all begins on when you start the clock, right?

00:04:10.560 And so if you start the clock on Saturday, reality is going with one way.

00:04:13.880 If you start the clock, you know, in, like, the weeks prior, it's going to sound a different way.

00:04:18.080 No, you're trying to justify terror.

00:04:19.240 No, if you start the clock, you know, in 1948, it looks a different way.

00:04:23.240 You're a professor.

00:04:23.980 Will you condemn terrorism?

00:04:24.800 I'm not.

00:04:25.400 This is, this conversation is not actually.

00:04:26.700 It's a yes or no question.

00:04:27.480 It's not a yes or no question.

00:04:29.140 This is.

00:04:29.480 You think terrorism is justified if it's against Jews? 0.97

00:04:31.580 Is that what you're saying?

00:04:33.600 So, so that's putting words in my mouth, as you know.

00:04:35.720 I'm asking you to say yes or no, and you can't do it.

00:04:37.960 Because.

00:04:38.180 You're a professor.

00:04:38.840 You're smart enough to know.

00:04:39.700 Okay, stop.

00:04:40.880 This is amazing.

00:04:42.400 This is amazing.

00:04:42.900 It doesn't matter where you start the clock. 0.94

00:04:45.820 Somebody that walks into an innocent family's house and guns them down, rapes the children,

00:04:54.440 kidnaps people.

00:04:55.540 I don't care when you start the clock. 0.55

00:04:57.460 That's terrorism.

00:04:59.000 Period.

00:04:59.660 That's all it is.

00:05:01.020 It's mass murder.

00:05:02.880 It's psychotic behavior.

00:05:04.780 It is the embracing of death and everything that is evil.

00:05:09.500 Just like you can start the clock on, on, you know, September 10th, 2001.

00:05:16.840 You can start the clock on September 11th, 1972.

00:05:22.580 And it's still mass murder.

00:05:26.180 Still mass murder.

00:05:29.320 We have to be very clear.

00:05:31.420 And these people who have been playing the word games with us are very dangerous at this

00:05:36.820 point.

00:05:37.480 Your soul, truly, your soul is in jeopardy now on this very issue.

00:05:43.060 You can want peace.

00:05:45.420 You can worry about the Palestinians. 1.00

00:05:48.960 I prayed last night.

00:05:49.860 My family got down and we prayed last night for the Palestinian people.

00:05:54.520 I don't want any of them hurt. 1.00

00:05:56.480 But I do want the psychopaths that just revel in blood to be dead. 1.00

00:06:04.080 I do. 0.99

00:06:06.140 So now you have this huge rally in London.

00:06:09.560 Let me show you what happened in Germany.

00:06:12.840 Here are a cut eight.

00:06:14.120 German protesters chanting in Hamburg.

00:06:19.560 Look at this.

00:06:22.360 Allah Akbar.

00:06:23.220 Allah Akbar.

00:06:24.080 Allah Akbar.

00:06:26.480 How do you think this is going to end?

00:06:30.640 This is what happens when you just let anyone in that doesn't share your culture.

00:06:38.060 How do you think that's going to end?

00:06:42.340 In the most disturbing.

00:06:45.720 I've got a few cuts of this.

00:06:48.200 This is the most disturbing.

00:06:51.220 Cut five.

00:06:52.220 This is from Russia.

00:06:53.380 A Muslim mob goes into the airport in Russia, seeking to hunt down passengers from Tel Aviv.

00:07:06.280 They storm the airport. 0.93

00:07:10.180 They're looking for any Jews.

00:07:13.060 Here is, look at this.

00:07:18.580 Here is, cut six, the Russian mob surrounding and questioning a suspected Jew.

00:07:25.400 I'm Uzbekistan.

00:07:27.400 I'm Uzbekistan.

00:07:28.760 I'm a Uzbek.

00:07:33.860 Hey, make sure no one walks past us.

00:07:38.740 Are you trying to mess with us?

00:07:40.420 Calm down.

00:07:45.520 I've got his passport.

00:07:48.680 So this guy is, this guy is surrounded by, what would you say, 50 people, Stu?

00:07:55.600 Yeah.

00:07:57.220 Surrounded on all sides.

00:07:58.920 They've taken his passport.

00:08:06.280 They've taken his phone.

00:08:07.600 Get his phone.

00:08:08.180 Get his phone.

00:08:11.340 And they're accusing him of being a Jew.

00:08:15.020 I don't know.

00:08:16.440 I don't know, gang.

00:08:17.560 How far are we from World War II?

00:08:19.900 Final one.

00:08:24.040 Here's the Russian mob firing warning shots at the police, not the other way around.

00:08:30.640 That's the mob shooting at police.

00:08:51.840 Trying to get them to abandon their post at the gate to the airport.

00:08:56.240 This is Russia. 0.52

00:08:57.300 Now, what do you think has empowered this?

00:09:01.740 This is empowered because Vladimir Putin met with the leaders of Hamas.

00:09:09.720 I think it was Friday.

00:09:12.160 Hamas released the Russian kidnapped individuals.

00:09:16.840 So they're back at home in Mother Russia. 0.97

00:09:19.880 Do you think that maybe Russia is on the wrong side?

00:09:24.240 Do you think you're far from another program in Russia?

00:09:30.380 This is why Israel exists. 0.99

00:09:33.320 And it must.

00:09:44.820 Meanwhile, Kamala Harris was on 60 Minutes.

00:09:49.820 And here's her message to Iran.

00:09:54.040 What's the message to Iran?

00:09:55.700 Don't.

00:09:57.040 As President Biden said, just don't.

00:09:59.100 Exactly.

00:10:00.560 One word.

00:10:01.940 Pretty straightforward.

00:10:05.500 I bet that chills him to the bone.

00:10:07.760 So where do we go from here?

00:10:17.600 Really, it's really, it's simple.

00:10:20.220 It is really, really simple.

00:10:21.660 For those of us who haven't closed their hearts to the Palestinians or to the Israelis, we haven't closed our hearts because we're angry at everything that is going on. 0.73

00:10:39.600 Look at, look at what, how you're being pushed.

00:10:43.380 How is it in 2009?

00:10:47.400 I was warning about anti-Semitism that we would see, this is a quote, we would see the hatreds of old rise again.

00:10:58.600 Remember how they used to make fun of me always having Nazi symbols and things on my chalkboard?

00:11:03.880 Maybe now they're beginning to understand why.

00:11:08.660 I wasn't comparing people to Nazis.

00:11:11.320 I was saying at the time, this kind of philosophy comes from Marxism.

00:11:18.960 It comes from collectivism.

00:11:21.320 It comes from do the duty of the society.

00:11:25.660 In societies that are collective like this, mobs are allowed to form like this because it's what's good for the majority.

00:11:39.260 And sometimes the majority goes insane.

00:11:43.840 That's why we are a nation of the individual, not the majority, not mob rule.

00:11:51.060 But look at how the mobs have gathered around the left.

00:11:57.020 It's all mob behavior.

00:12:00.360 And like I just said, what do you think that that happened?

00:12:04.220 Well, how did that happen in Russia where they'll just throw you off a roof or just shoot you someplace and nobody's going to ask any questions?

00:12:13.960 How do you think you're going to get away with that with all the airport security and your face on it?

00:12:21.780 You were fine.

00:12:23.780 The state's not going to do anything about it because the state most likely agrees with you. 1.00

00:12:30.600 The state can use you as a useful idiot. 1.00

00:12:35.560 What is our government done? 1.00

00:12:37.540 Every time there's a mob on the street, what happens?

00:12:44.420 They dismiss it.

00:12:47.040 There's no police.

00:12:48.280 There's no FBI informants among the have you ever heard of an FBI?

00:12:52.880 Well, we had several FBI informants on the street.

00:12:57.360 I haven't heard that ever.

00:12:59.020 The only time I hear that.

00:13:01.000 Is when things look a little suspicious for January 6th.

00:13:04.760 If that was a legitimate mob, they all deserve to go to jail.

00:13:10.880 Those who were doing, you know, damage to the building and breaking the law, hurting policemen, which didn't happen.

00:13:19.200 We now know.

00:13:21.320 Thank you, Blaze.

00:13:25.000 So.

00:13:27.080 What are we creating here?

00:13:30.820 I contend we're creating the same exact scenario.

00:13:34.760 Let me give you something that maybe, maybe we should pay attention to.

00:13:40.320 I don't know.

00:13:42.420 Illegal border crossers have just surpassed 10 million people since Biden took office.

00:13:51.640 That's our guess.

00:13:53.480 We don't know.

00:13:54.540 10 million people now have been reported to illegally entering the United States since January 2021.

00:14:06.100 This is the largest number in American history.

00:14:10.280 10 million people.

00:14:11.600 So, you know, that is 3 million more than New York City.

00:14:17.260 10 million, you're starting to enter Los Angeles territory.

00:14:26.280 You're in one of the top 10 cities in America, top five cities for sure in America.

00:14:31.840 And we don't have any idea who they are.

00:14:35.480 Well, we kind of do.

00:14:37.100 We kind of do.

00:14:38.840 Remember, they're all good, hardworking families.

00:14:43.500 Hmm.

00:14:44.620 According to a to a source inside the Border Patrol, the influx of special interest migrants.

00:14:52.000 I'll give you the definition of that here in a second continues.

00:14:57.280 In fact, 100 Syrian and 50 Iranian nationals have been apprehended by the Border Patrol since the beginning of this month.

00:15:08.120 The 29th, 150 Syrian and Iranian nationals have been apprehended, have been caught on our border in the last, what is it, the 29th?

00:15:23.340 The last 29 days.

00:15:27.300 Now, how many have crossed?

00:15:29.360 Oh, by the way, these are not families.

00:15:31.340 These are individuals coming in by themselves.

00:15:35.480 Right?

00:15:38.120 And the Biden administration would say, well, this is because, you know, there's there's war in that area.

00:15:44.880 Then why aren't you coming with your family?

00:15:47.960 Why are you coming just by yourself?

00:15:50.840 All of you.

00:15:52.060 All of you.

00:15:54.100 This is the best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:15:56.680 I have been thinking over the last few days of what is happening in our world.

00:16:04.900 And when I saw the videos coming out of Russia at the over the weekend that were so reminiscent of the 1930s, I couldn't take it.

00:16:21.500 These are Palestinian supporters.

00:16:28.140 It's a gigantic mob.

00:16:31.600 They rush the airport.

00:16:33.600 They go into the airport and they're searching for Jews that have come off a plane from Tel Aviv.

00:16:39.940 Think of that. 0.71

00:16:44.160 The millions that were on the streets all over the world shouting death to the Jew.

00:16:51.600 I'm not sure why I was born.

00:17:01.200 I don't know if anybody can answer that for sure.

00:17:05.940 But you'll have inklings from time to time, maybe.

00:17:08.820 And I fully, fully expect to get up and I'm talking to the Lord and I'm like, OK, all right.

00:17:18.860 Did all these things.

00:17:20.180 Thought I was, you know, right.

00:17:21.620 Right.

00:17:22.060 And he's like, no.

00:17:25.100 No, I mean, really, you were supposed to be nice to that girl in the third grade.

00:17:30.180 You know, she was having bad time.

00:17:31.780 She was supposed to go.

00:17:32.680 But you didn't do that. 0.99

00:17:33.640 And you're like, oh, crap. 0.98

00:17:34.700 That was it. 0.98

00:17:35.260 I missed it in the third grade.

00:17:36.300 I could have chilled the rest of my life.

00:17:39.060 I don't know why I was born.

00:17:42.120 But there is something about the state of Israel.

00:17:45.700 That connects deeply to me.

00:17:50.600 And standing up.

00:17:53.700 This time, as opposed to every other time there has been a program or a Holocaust, 19 holocausts. 0.83

00:18:06.300 All of the programs where they would come in and just clean a town out of all the Jews. 1.00

00:18:14.600 To have the privilege to stand with.

00:18:20.020 The Jew. 0.97

00:18:22.820 Is a tremendous honor.

00:18:26.980 Spiritually.

00:18:27.460 So I want to read a letter that I wrote that I am sending to the state of Israel.

00:18:38.980 To Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the honorable officials at the state of Israel.

00:18:43.680 I write this to you in a time of profound significance.

00:18:48.820 A moment where history echoes its most harrowing and yet most resilient notes.

00:18:55.800 The present day world has eerily come to resemble the troubling shadows of the 1930s and 40s where our Jewish brothers and sisters once again bore the weight of unprecedented persecution.

00:19:08.580 The drums of war beat again.

00:19:11.820 And the haunting chants of prejudice against the Jewish people have once more risen from hushed murmurs to overt threats.

00:19:21.960 In this moment, I have chosen to ask you for citizenship in the state of Israel.

00:19:28.940 I have nothing to offer but my voice of support.

00:19:34.400 And some might say that my support might be more valuable as an independent voice.

00:19:39.400 Perhaps they're correct. 0.81

00:19:41.180 But my request for citizenship is not about words.

00:19:44.460 It is about deeds.

00:19:46.280 It is an irreversible step toward the darkness of the day.

00:19:52.780 In defense.

00:19:53.840 Too many humans, no matter what their faith, have run the other direction.

00:20:00.660 Hidden or just turned away from the monsters in the dark that have come for their neighbors and fellow brothers and sisters.

00:20:08.060 I wish to do the opposite.

00:20:11.020 I once said in a speech there in Israel from the steps of the Temple Mount.

00:20:15.500 If they must come for the Jew, then I must raise my hand and say, then come for me too. 0.99

00:20:22.460 For today I am a Jew.

00:20:25.780 Those were merely words.

00:20:28.500 I wish to turn my words into action.

00:20:33.000 Why, one might wonder, would I want to embrace a heritage and identity that is so ruthlessly hunted down again and again?

00:20:41.780 Yet it is precisely during such moments that we must choose to stand.

00:20:49.600 As Casper Ten Boom, Corrie Ten Boom's Dutch Christian father, in a defining act of solidarity,

00:20:57.860 became one of the first to request a yellow star from the Germans,

00:21:02.760 we are reminded that the act of standing with the persecuted is an affirmation of life and a rejection of darkness.

00:21:11.180 Dietrich Bonhoeffer once stated,

00:21:14.900 Silence in the face of evil is evil itself.

00:21:18.820 God will not hold us guiltless.

00:21:21.320 Not to speak is to speak.

00:21:22.840 Not to act is to act.

00:21:25.400 His words resonate deeply with me.

00:21:29.180 In a world that may choose indifference,

00:21:32.860 I choose to stand with the Jews,

00:21:35.900 our brethren who have faced solitude repeatedly.

00:21:39.140 Dietrich Bonhoeffer, I believe,

00:21:44.220 thought he failed in his attempt to waken the German church.

00:21:48.780 But it is because the hearts of his countrymen had already grown cold to the teachings of truth and scripture.

00:21:56.860 American hearts still remain open.

00:21:59.400 The message and the plight of our brothers and sisters can still be heard and seen today.

00:22:07.240 But I fear the hour grows late.

00:22:10.920 The American founders believed ardently in the unalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

00:22:18.340 It is the essence of our very existence in America to stand for these rights,

00:22:25.740 not just for ourselves, but for every human.

00:22:29.320 I am reminded of the biblical exhortation,

00:22:32.880 Do not stand idly by while your neighbor's blood is shed.

00:22:37.420 Leviticus 1916

00:22:39.160 This sacred text compels us to act,

00:22:43.620 to defend,

00:22:45.140 and to support life.

00:22:48.140 I anticipate no privileges or exemption from the state of Israel.

00:22:51.800 I instead yearn to align myself with those willing to rise,

00:22:57.180 to fight,

00:22:57.980 and sacrifice for the fundamental right to live.

00:23:01.980 Is this not what both Israel and America embody?

00:23:07.280 The sacred promise of life?

00:23:09.860 The freedom to voice our beliefs?

00:23:12.140 The right to defend our homes and families?

00:23:15.980 I wish to be counted among you.

00:23:20.240 In closing, my desire for dual citizenship does not stem from any expectation of gain,

00:23:25.720 but from a deep-rooted belief in standing with what is right and true.

00:23:31.980 Ten years ago, I took my children to Israel for the first time,

00:23:36.320 but we first visited Auschwitz in Poland.

00:23:40.260 I told them,

00:23:41.620 you cannot understand Israel without the Bible or Auschwitz, 0.99

00:23:46.460 nor would you be able to choose to stand

00:23:49.120 if you hadn't already made the choice long before the trouble would start.

00:23:55.520 At the time, my family and I met with one of the righteous among the nations.

00:24:00.060 After she told us her heroic story of her and her family saving more than a hundred Jews,

00:24:07.480 just as a sixteen-year-old girl,

00:24:10.740 I asked her how I could water the tree of righteousness for future generations.

00:24:16.800 She looked at me puzzled and told me

00:24:19.620 that you didn't need to water the tree,

00:24:22.520 it was in all of us,

00:24:23.800 and it didn't take courage.

00:24:25.420 The rest of the world would go insane and fall over the cliff,

00:24:32.700 but all that was required was to remember what is right and what is true.

00:24:39.660 Quote,

00:24:40.360 Remember what you were taught and refuse to move.

00:24:44.720 In the end,

00:24:48.480 this is no way a renunciation of my American citizenship,

00:24:52.400 which I hold valuable and dear.

00:24:55.340 It is instead a renewal of my first citizenship in the kingdom of God,

00:25:01.440 as this fight is coming to all of us.

00:25:05.340 May Israel remain an eternal flame of hope,

00:25:09.120 a beacon of resilience,

00:25:10.280 and a testament to the enduring human spirit.

00:25:13.820 In deepest respect and solidarity,

00:25:16.420 Glenn Beck

00:25:16.940 I don't expect to receive citizenship.

00:25:27.080 I have wanted citizenship for some reason.

00:25:31.820 Even Benjamin Netanyahu said to me at one point,

00:25:34.440 why would you want to do that?

00:25:36.160 And I said,

00:25:36.560 because I,

00:25:37.400 in the end,

00:25:37.960 I want to be with people who are awake.

00:25:42.680 But that's not right.

00:25:43.880 I have no desire to go over and fight.

00:25:48.840 And I wouldn't,

00:25:49.940 I wouldn't want my country to fight Israel's fight, 1.00

00:25:55.740 but to allow them to fight for their own life.

00:26:01.040 Help them if we can.

00:26:03.400 Stand with them.

00:26:06.840 Recognize a Jew's right to live. 0.99

00:26:08.920 If my country decided to side with Hamas, 0.84

00:26:17.200 then that is,

00:26:18.840 for me to support that,

00:26:20.380 would be a violation of my first citizenship.

00:26:24.580 Not in this case,

00:26:25.860 the third.

00:26:26.880 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:26:31.560 Dateline Washington.

00:26:33.180 The Commerce Department is halting exports

00:26:35.600 of most U.S.-made firearms for 90 days.

00:26:38.920 And reviewing its support

00:26:40.160 of the country's biggest gun trade show

00:26:42.520 to ensure such backing

00:26:44.800 does not undermine U.S. policy interests.

00:26:48.480 Steps that could slow

00:26:49.760 two decades of growth

00:26:51.380 of gun sales abroad.

00:26:53.880 We go to Stu,

00:26:55.440 Steve Bregeer,

00:26:56.620 our analyst on guns

00:26:58.140 and regional gun expert,

00:27:00.720 to tell us what he thinks

00:27:02.080 the government is actually doing here.

00:27:05.080 Well, Glenn,

00:27:06.440 guns are evil.

00:27:07.480 And they should be banned.

00:27:09.660 And they not only should

00:27:11.540 be off the streets of America, 0.95

00:27:13.280 but be off the streets

00:27:14.760 of the entire world.

00:27:16.540 These sales, of course,

00:27:18.080 also help gun companies

00:27:20.460 and improve their businesses.

00:27:22.540 And since we want them all to go away

00:27:24.620 and the Second Amendment

00:27:25.400 be destroyed completely, 0.78

00:27:26.860 we do not support

00:27:28.840 these exports.

00:27:29.960 Today, on The Daily,

00:27:38.500 the government banning gun sales.

00:27:42.080 It could only harm the gun companies.

00:27:47.860 Today, we talk to gun enthusiast

00:27:52.020 Steve Bregeer

00:27:54.140 about what the lack of guns means

00:27:57.440 in his life.

00:28:06.260 Do you ask a question?

00:28:07.820 Do I just start talking?

00:28:08.740 I don't know how this works.

00:28:09.780 No, you just start talking.

00:28:11.740 But you didn't ask a question.

00:28:12.680 But I just said

00:28:14.820 you're a gun nut. 0.85

00:28:16.060 Oh, guns help

00:28:18.780 protect people

00:28:20.280 from, you know,

00:28:22.980 lawless mobs

00:28:24.080 that, you know,

00:28:26.500 the left continues to

00:28:27.860 empower.

00:28:29.200 So, you're insinuating

00:28:30.660 that

00:28:31.320 black people on the street 0.60

00:28:34.360 or brown people 0.99

00:28:35.580 are lawless mobs? 0.83

00:28:36.960 I said nothing

00:28:37.580 about anyone's skin color.

00:28:39.280 Why are you?

00:28:40.460 We're the New York Times.

00:28:42.080 I think we understand

00:28:43.540 what you're saying, gun nut. 0.99

00:28:46.880 Racist. 0.99

00:28:49.340 And that's all the time we have. 0.68

00:28:51.140 I didn't even get a chance.

00:28:55.960 I mean, this is so unbelievable.

00:28:58.660 They are not tracking.

00:29:00.900 Here's why they say

00:29:01.960 they're doing this.

00:29:03.120 They say they're doing this

00:29:04.340 because they want to make sure

00:29:05.460 that the guns,

00:29:06.420 that are being sold

00:29:08.100 by manufacturers

00:29:09.860 to gun stores

00:29:11.060 all around the world

00:29:12.320 that those guns

00:29:13.780 don't fall into the wrong hands.

00:29:16.920 But we're sending

00:29:18.660 billions of dollars

00:29:21.480 worth of ammunition

00:29:22.960 and guns

00:29:24.220 to Ukraine

00:29:25.100 without anyone tracking

00:29:27.240 any of it.

00:29:28.560 Notably, the exports ban,

00:29:30.880 export ban,

00:29:31.400 does not apply

00:29:32.160 to Ukraine.

00:29:34.300 You can apparently send

00:29:35.260 as many guns as you want

00:29:36.240 there.

00:29:36.720 Well, they're the government.

00:29:37.980 The government can send it.

00:29:40.100 Just gun manufacturers

00:29:41.840 can't send it.

00:29:42.200 Well, they're not.

00:29:42.920 Government doesn't build

00:29:44.080 the guns.

00:29:45.200 They're sending guns

00:29:46.200 from gun manufacturers.

00:29:46.920 They buy them.

00:29:47.960 They buy them.

00:29:48.660 It's just amazing

00:29:51.780 that the weird...

00:29:54.120 It doesn't make any sense.

00:29:55.340 It used to make sense

00:29:56.180 like the old days

00:29:57.020 where generally

00:29:59.500 conservatives

00:30:00.080 were more

00:30:01.260 in favor

00:30:02.640 of a strong

00:30:04.120 position around the globe

00:30:06.080 when it comes to

00:30:07.020 maybe a hawkish stance

00:30:09.240 on that.

00:30:10.240 And that applies

00:30:10.940 with a...

00:30:11.720 It kind of works

00:30:13.040 well

00:30:13.720 with the position

00:30:15.280 at home

00:30:15.660 that you should also

00:30:16.200 be able to defend yourself.

00:30:17.220 You kind of see that.

00:30:18.660 Now, the left has just decided

00:30:19.740 that they're the pro-war people

00:30:21.180 but they don't want us

00:30:22.560 to be able to protect ourselves

00:30:23.660 against lawless mobs

00:30:25.640 that go through

00:30:27.680 city after city after city.

00:30:29.140 That they encourage.

00:30:30.080 That they encourage

00:30:30.820 and solicit donations for.

00:30:35.160 I just doesn't...

00:30:36.140 I don't know.

00:30:36.540 It doesn't seem to work together

00:30:37.380 all that well.

00:30:37.920 A well-regulated militia

00:30:40.000 being necessary

00:30:41.400 to the security

00:30:42.680 of a free state

00:30:44.520 the right of the people

00:30:46.300 to keep and bear arms

00:30:47.460 shall not be infringed.

00:30:51.140 This weekend

00:30:52.000 we saw more shootings

00:30:53.200 here in the country.

00:30:54.720 Last week

00:30:55.420 we saw

00:30:55.940 you know

00:30:56.840 a mass shooting

00:30:57.700 and we find out now

00:30:59.560 that that mass shooting

00:31:01.200 up in Maine

00:31:01.860 there was

00:31:03.660 plenty of red flags

00:31:05.080 that went up.

00:31:05.840 Couldn't have been more

00:31:06.880 red flags.

00:31:08.220 I mean the guy

00:31:08.500 was literally

00:31:09.060 telling people 0.92

00:31:09.980 he wanted to shoot up 0.82

00:31:11.020 a military base.

00:31:12.400 Correct.

00:31:13.140 And telling authorities

00:31:14.780 that he was going to do that.

00:31:17.580 So immediately

00:31:18.540 of course

00:31:19.220 the regular arguments

00:31:20.540 in the media

00:31:21.220 and the left

00:31:21.840 do I need to say that?

00:31:23.940 Media and the left?

00:31:25.180 Yeah, it seems repetitive.

00:31:26.180 Yeah.

00:31:26.660 Also immediately

00:31:27.580 the usual counter-arguments

00:31:29.300 were made

00:31:29.760 by the Second Amendment advocates.

00:31:31.300 It's a shooter

00:31:31.840 not the gun.

00:31:32.820 The man was unstable

00:31:33.780 shouldn't have had a gun.

00:31:34.880 You know regulations

00:31:36.160 wouldn't have shot

00:31:36.940 you know wouldn't have stopped him.

00:31:38.660 Bad guys don't observe

00:31:39.600 the regulations.

00:31:40.960 These shootings are stopped

00:31:41.880 by good guys.

00:31:42.540 All of that stuff is true.

00:31:44.920 But none of that

00:31:46.060 is the thing

00:31:46.540 that we should focus on

00:31:47.520 right now.

00:31:49.120 Rather

00:31:49.400 we should realize

00:31:51.820 that we are living

00:31:52.840 in a very

00:31:53.940 special

00:31:54.940 and unique

00:31:55.980 time

00:31:56.720 where all

00:31:58.540 of the original reasons

00:31:59.680 for the Second Amendment

00:32:00.580 are as urgently

00:32:02.140 relevant

00:32:02.820 as they have

00:32:03.840 ever

00:32:04.500 been.

00:32:07.640 We should probably

00:32:08.960 understand those reasons.

00:32:11.100 The Second Amendment

00:32:12.260 is not about

00:32:13.400 sportsmen.

00:32:14.780 Otherwise

00:32:15.080 they might have put

00:32:16.240 bowling

00:32:16.880 in the Constitution.

00:32:20.240 You know

00:32:20.680 the Third Amendment.

00:32:22.280 Hey

00:32:22.480 can't touch

00:32:23.100 bowling either.

00:32:24.560 It was not

00:32:25.620 put there

00:32:26.320 for sports

00:32:28.320 reasons.

00:32:29.100 It exists

00:32:32.160 the most

00:32:33.640 fundamental

00:32:34.600 right

00:32:35.220 under

00:32:35.660 natural law.

00:32:37.780 Natural law

00:32:38.300 means it happens

00:32:39.200 in nature.

00:32:40.280 You walk

00:32:41.040 into a

00:32:42.000 cave

00:32:42.840 with a bear

00:32:43.400 in it

00:32:43.820 and you're just like

00:32:45.060 I want a pet

00:32:45.820 little kitty.

00:32:47.580 Mommy 1.00

00:32:48.220 will kill you 1.00

00:32:49.460 because it's 1.00

00:32:50.440 a natural

00:32:51.220 instinct

00:32:52.040 and natural

00:32:53.040 right.

00:32:54.200 You come

00:32:54.740 into my home

00:32:56.060 and try

00:32:56.940 to do anything

00:32:57.680 with me

00:32:58.240 or my

00:32:58.660 children.

00:32:59.760 I can 1.00

00:33:00.240 kill you 1.00

00:33:01.060 if I feel 1.00

00:33:02.100 we're in

00:33:02.780 danger.

00:33:04.560 The right

00:33:05.520 to self-defense.

00:33:07.360 That would come

00:33:08.340 under the

00:33:08.840 inalienable

00:33:09.780 right to

00:33:10.760 life

00:33:11.220 by the way.

00:33:13.020 So this

00:33:13.900 was written

00:33:14.440 by people

00:33:15.000 who had just

00:33:15.480 defeated

00:33:15.920 the former

00:33:16.580 king.

00:33:17.740 This also

00:33:18.860 means

00:33:19.380 self-defense

00:33:20.340 against an

00:33:21.140 out-of-control

00:33:22.060 government.

00:33:22.560 In an

00:33:24.420 age of

00:33:24.980 weaponized

00:33:25.680 government

00:33:26.140 agencies

00:33:26.880 this is

00:33:27.840 hardly

00:33:28.300 a false

00:33:29.120 concern.

00:33:31.920 Tellingly

00:33:32.520 the argument

00:33:33.860 against this

00:33:34.800 usually

00:33:35.880 is efficacy.

00:33:37.820 Oh you're

00:33:38.360 going to need

00:33:38.780 an F-15

00:33:39.540 not an

00:33:39.980 AR-15.

00:33:41.200 I hate

00:33:41.820 that.

00:33:42.440 I don't

00:33:42.860 know the

00:33:43.180 Taliban did 1.00

00:33:43.800 pretty well.

00:33:44.840 Pretty well.

00:33:46.840 The history

00:33:48.040 of asymmetric

00:33:49.080 warfare from

00:33:49.820 the Revolutionary

00:33:50.600 War onwards

00:33:51.660 would beg

00:33:52.300 to differ

00:33:52.860 as would

00:33:54.140 gun

00:33:54.480 confiscation

00:33:55.420 being one

00:33:55.980 of the

00:33:56.260 first acts

00:33:57.180 of every

00:33:58.260 tyrant

00:33:59.340 in history.

00:34:01.600 But more

00:34:02.700 importantly

00:34:03.280 the Second

00:34:04.400 Amendment

00:34:04.680 also means

00:34:05.820 simply

00:34:07.160 self-defense

00:34:08.580 against people

00:34:09.820 with evil

00:34:10.720 intent.

00:34:12.340 That's

00:34:13.180 where we

00:34:14.280 should really

00:34:15.000 focus.

00:34:16.180 The left

00:34:17.000 essentially

00:34:17.600 argues that

00:34:18.460 that kind

00:34:19.280 of self-defense

00:34:19.900 is irrelevant

00:34:20.580 today.

00:34:21.680 That's why

00:34:21.960 we have

00:34:22.280 police forces.

00:34:23.640 Really?

00:34:24.000 The ones

00:34:24.400 that you

00:34:24.700 have gutted?

00:34:25.360 The ones

00:34:25.640 that you

00:34:25.880 said were

00:34:26.340 irrelevant

00:34:26.760 and racist 0.66

00:34:27.400 and horrible? 0.53

00:34:28.360 The ones

00:34:28.940 we can't

00:34:29.620 get to

00:34:30.180 respond to

00:34:30.920 any problems

00:34:31.780 because there's

00:34:32.740 not enough

00:34:33.380 of them

00:34:34.040 left?

00:34:36.360 Quite aside

00:34:37.240 from truly

00:34:37.900 frightening

00:34:38.380 crime statistics

00:34:39.660 self-defense

00:34:40.580 has never

00:34:41.440 been more

00:34:41.980 relevant than

00:34:43.300 it is

00:34:43.700 today.

00:34:45.300 And I

00:34:46.060 think the

00:34:46.720 you know

00:34:47.160 Hamas 0.96

00:34:47.840 pogrom

00:34:49.060 kind of

00:34:50.060 makes that

00:34:50.540 case.

00:34:52.840 Here's a

00:34:53.600 country that

00:34:54.020 does not

00:34:54.660 lack

00:34:54.980 experience

00:34:55.640 with

00:34:55.940 terrorism

00:34:56.500 and war.

00:34:57.480 Tiny,

00:34:58.020 tiny little

00:34:58.680 Israel.

00:34:59.940 Help should 0.55

00:35:00.660 arrive fast.

00:35:01.900 But there

00:35:03.140 was shock

00:35:03.620 and surprise

00:35:04.240 on September

00:35:04.860 or October

00:35:06.040 7th.

00:35:07.520 The lesson

00:35:08.560 of how much

00:35:09.300 time an

00:35:09.840 organized

00:35:10.440 response

00:35:11.020 took should

00:35:11.720 resound

00:35:12.340 loudly,

00:35:13.760 not only in

00:35:14.640 Israel but all 1.00

00:35:15.320 around the

00:35:15.800 world,

00:35:16.140 including

00:35:16.500 America.

00:35:17.880 Hours

00:35:18.320 passed before

00:35:19.300 help came to

00:35:19.960 many places

00:35:20.500 under attack.

00:35:21.400 Hours!

00:35:23.620 We've just

00:35:24.580 let 10

00:35:25.640 million people

00:35:27.340 into our

00:35:28.160 country that

00:35:28.780 we don't

00:35:29.340 know who

00:35:29.840 they are.

00:35:30.440 we saw

00:35:32.000 what 28

00:35:33.080 individuals

00:35:33.980 could do

00:35:34.580 on September

00:35:35.220 11th.

00:35:36.380 Are you

00:35:36.960 telling me

00:35:37.600 you're

00:35:37.900 comfortable

00:35:38.520 that there

00:35:39.620 aren't enough

00:35:40.300 people to

00:35:40.900 cause real

00:35:42.100 problems in

00:35:43.060 our country

00:35:43.680 in multiple

00:35:45.440 places?

00:35:47.440 It was

00:35:48.320 emergency alert

00:35:49.220 squads,

00:35:50.020 it was

00:35:50.260 civilian gun

00:35:51.020 owners,

00:35:51.900 single cops,

00:35:53.000 soldiers who

00:35:53.660 ran toward

00:35:54.320 the sound

00:35:54.840 of gunfire,

00:35:56.240 undermanned

00:35:57.060 and outgunned.

00:35:58.260 what would

00:36:00.060 the result

00:36:00.660 have been

00:36:01.080 if the

00:36:01.800 population

00:36:02.360 of Israel

00:36:03.000 had been

00:36:03.680 completely

00:36:04.400 disarmed

00:36:05.080 and helpless,

00:36:06.380 fully dependent

00:36:07.160 on their

00:36:07.680 security forces?

00:36:08.960 How many

00:36:09.840 would be

00:36:10.400 dead?

00:36:12.780 Far more

00:36:13.960 than are.

00:36:16.620 This lesson

00:36:17.600 has not been

00:36:18.400 missed in

00:36:18.820 Israel,

00:36:19.300 which is

00:36:19.660 actually very

00:36:20.680 restrictive

00:36:21.200 on firearm

00:36:22.540 regulations.

00:36:23.820 Not everybody

00:36:24.300 can have a

00:36:24.880 gun.

00:36:25.040 Those who

00:36:25.440 can,

00:36:25.860 usually

00:36:26.160 granted

00:36:26.660 one

00:36:27.020 handgun

00:36:27.520 and 50

00:36:28.060 bullets,

00:36:28.560 no more.

00:36:29.280 All fully

00:36:30.260 registered and

00:36:31.120 permitted.

00:36:32.460 I think

00:36:33.300 Israel should 0.64

00:36:33.860 adopt a

00:36:34.640 full Second

00:36:35.200 Amendment

00:36:35.500 right.

00:36:37.380 Now the

00:36:38.140 rules are

00:36:38.480 being relaxed,

00:36:39.440 gun owners

00:36:39.880 are asked to

00:36:40.720 carry,

00:36:41.420 the alert

00:36:41.840 squads in

00:36:42.520 rural areas

00:36:43.500 are being

00:36:43.820 supported like

00:36:44.420 never before,

00:36:45.540 squads are

00:36:45.980 made up of

00:36:46.500 former combat

00:36:47.280 soldiers and

00:36:48.000 are kept

00:36:48.780 armed and

00:36:49.460 trained to

00:36:49.880 defend against

00:36:50.500 terrorist

00:36:50.860 incursions.

00:36:52.700 During the

00:36:53.480 Hamas 0.96

00:36:53.900 program,

00:36:55.040 they made

00:36:56.280 a huge

00:36:56.840 difference.

00:36:57.680 They couldn't

00:36:58.000 stop at

00:36:58.380 all.

00:36:58.680 They took

00:36:58.940 heavy losses.

00:37:02.120 But where

00:37:02.940 they were

00:37:03.280 kept in a

00:37:04.780 good state

00:37:05.300 of readiness,

00:37:06.240 casualties

00:37:06.640 were considerably

00:37:07.600 lower,

00:37:08.940 higher where

00:37:09.960 not.

00:37:11.960 They blunted

00:37:13.040 the assault.

00:37:15.920 Americans had 0.96

00:37:17.180 institutions like

00:37:18.360 this when we

00:37:19.040 first started.

00:37:20.140 It was the

00:37:20.540 Minutemen.

00:37:23.180 Men armed

00:37:24.180 and trained,

00:37:25.040 held ready to

00:37:26.520 defend their

00:37:26.980 community at

00:37:27.720 a minute's

00:37:28.180 notice.

00:37:30.140 We know

00:37:31.020 of their

00:37:31.380 role in

00:37:31.880 the early

00:37:32.260 stages of

00:37:33.120 the War of

00:37:33.880 Independence, 0.74

00:37:34.320 but there

00:37:34.740 were similar

00:37:35.220 local groups

00:37:36.060 meant to

00:37:36.540 defend against

00:37:37.160 whatever the

00:37:37.760 danger might

00:37:38.440 have been

00:37:39.000 at the

00:37:39.320 time.

00:37:39.720 Indian,

00:37:41.020 for that

00:37:41.780 matter,

00:37:42.160 French,

00:37:42.640 British,

00:37:43.280 Spanish

00:37:43.660 incursions.

00:37:44.360 We live

00:37:46.840 in a time

00:37:47.400 now where

00:37:47.940 Jews have 0.99

00:37:48.620 to cower 0.98

00:37:49.380 inside their

00:37:50.180 homes or

00:37:51.120 get locked

00:37:51.780 in libraries

00:37:52.700 for fear of

00:37:53.880 the mob in

00:37:54.800 our own

00:37:55.900 country.

00:37:57.180 We live in a

00:37:58.260 time when

00:37:58.640 hundreds of

00:37:59.320 thousands of

00:37:59.940 people feel

00:38:00.540 free to

00:38:01.120 openly shout

00:38:02.180 their support

00:38:02.920 for evil

00:38:04.220 and genocide

00:38:05.220 and their

00:38:06.280 hatred for the

00:38:07.120 culture that

00:38:07.640 welcomed them

00:38:08.480 into their

00:38:08.960 midst.

00:38:09.340 A time

00:38:11.520 when open

00:38:11.940 borders have

00:38:12.560 meant 10

00:38:14.960 million

00:38:16.440 people and

00:38:19.260 thousands on

00:38:20.540 the terror

00:38:21.100 list that

00:38:22.400 are present

00:38:22.860 right now

00:38:23.640 in our

00:38:24.140 cities,

00:38:24.860 making

00:38:25.180 sleeper

00:38:25.720 cells a

00:38:26.300 virtual

00:38:26.700 certainty.

00:38:28.840 And that's

00:38:29.160 without mentioning

00:38:29.780 the cartels

00:38:30.580 and the gangs

00:38:31.220 and the

00:38:31.540 old-fashioned

00:38:32.140 rogue state

00:38:32.920 actors.

00:38:34.080 Do we

00:38:34.560 really think

00:38:35.380 that things

00:38:35.920 can't happen

00:38:36.660 in rural

00:38:37.420 America with 0.74

00:38:38.620 its vast

00:38:39.320 open spaces?

00:38:41.120 How long

00:38:41.940 for real

00:38:42.580 help to

00:38:43.140 arrive then

00:38:43.940 or in a

00:38:44.640 major city

00:38:45.280 or a

00:38:45.880 university

00:38:46.360 campus?

00:38:49.840 We can't

00:38:50.660 all turn

00:38:51.000 into Navy

00:38:51.540 SEALs,

00:38:52.240 but most

00:38:53.040 of us can

00:38:53.480 help and

00:38:54.620 none of us

00:38:55.120 should be

00:38:55.440 helpless.

00:38:56.620 This is not

00:38:57.100 an emotional

00:38:57.960 knee-jerk

00:38:58.680 rah-rah. 0.56

00:38:59.300 This is a

00:38:59.780 lesson that

00:39:00.660 reason and

00:39:01.780 morality dictate

00:39:03.100 we must learn

00:39:04.840 from these

00:39:05.340 events.

00:39:05.860 I carry a

00:39:06.480 gun.

00:39:06.860 I train

00:39:07.240 with it.

00:39:08.180 Not because

00:39:08.960 it's fun,

00:39:09.500 but it

00:39:09.720 is.

00:39:11.180 But I'm

00:39:11.580 also all

00:39:12.340 too aware

00:39:12.900 that my

00:39:13.480 life and

00:39:14.060 the life

00:39:14.400 of my

00:39:14.700 family,

00:39:15.280 one day,

00:39:16.360 one night,

00:39:17.400 may depend

00:39:19.460 on my

00:39:19.840 ability to

00:39:20.440 use that

00:39:21.020 gun.

00:39:22.500 I

00:39:22.980 sincerely pray

00:39:24.560 I never

00:39:25.400 have to

00:39:25.760 use that

00:39:26.140 ability.

00:39:26.540 but I

00:39:30.500 also pray

00:39:31.180 that I

00:39:31.520 always have

00:39:31.920 the ability

00:39:32.660 to use

00:39:35.200 my gun.

00:39:36.720 Never

00:39:37.200 again doesn't

00:39:37.880 mean depending

00:39:38.480 on someone

00:39:39.020 else to

00:39:39.500 prevent the

00:39:40.020 next massacre.

00:39:41.980 Never

00:39:42.160 again means

00:39:43.420 you and

00:39:44.920 your ability

00:39:45.500 to defend

00:39:46.400 and stand

00:39:48.260 for those

00:39:49.440 you love.

00:39:50.160 I don't

00:39:53.380 know what

00:39:53.800 the Biden

00:39:54.240 administration

00:39:54.700 is doing

00:39:55.700 this time,

00:39:57.220 but their

00:39:58.520 every step

00:39:59.460 has been

00:40:00.260 to erode

00:40:00.980 your rights

00:40:02.060 one way

00:40:03.100 or another.
