00:00:09.100 happened over the past week i'm sure giving you an update and uh and a family crisis he's had

00:00:14.540 going on uh we'll let him get into that on monday uh today we talk about the biden speech uh the

00:00:20.120 guns he doesn't i will say i will say biden's speech on guns was filled with inaccuracies at

00:00:28.740 a point that really the level you haven't seen you didn't really even maybe even see from barack

00:00:33.020 obama i mean this was packed with lies lies yeah just flat out lies yeah a lot of them and it's

00:00:39.220 hard to imagine he doesn't know that these are untrue uh they are they they're i think he does

00:00:43.760 even though i don't know that he knows where his shoes are true he does know that i think uh so

00:00:49.300 we got into a lot of that today you'll love some of the history stuff that he got wrong uh some of

00:00:54.500 the claims about uh weapons today that he got wrong it's really just a collection of joe biden

00:00:59.860 saying things that are incorrect uh make sure to subscribe to this podcast as well as pat gray

00:01:04.020 unleashed and of course stew does america we would really appreciate that uh you know helps people

00:01:10.180 figure out you know that the show exists so that's always a positive uh make sure as well to pick up

00:01:15.240 your nancy pelosi sucks pen while they are still uh available they were sold out for the most of the

00:01:22.380 year last year honestly we've got a giant shipment in but they are going very fast so pick it up

00:01:27.420 nancypelosisuckspen.com there's lots of fun stuff there also some great pat gray unleashed merch you

00:01:33.220 can pick up as well so check that out here's the podcast

00:01:36.300 you're listening to the best of the glenn beck program

00:01:47.140 did you see uh the biden speech yesterday i did yeah it's great it was great lots of good stuff in

00:01:56.580 there lots of good stuff lots of fun fun common sense gun reform things that's what i was thinking

00:02:03.560 the common sense this is common sense and you know what these people who talk about the second

00:02:09.320 amendment this has nothing to do with the second amendment no i love the second amendment like my

00:02:15.200 own grandfather like great great because it's pretty old so i love the second amendment like it's

00:02:23.200 my great great great great grandfather i really do i love it uh it's just that you know there's some

00:02:29.180 common sense things that need to be done well and eventually great great grand mothers and fathers

00:02:34.420 pass away thank you and we still love them but they're not here anymore that's just like the

00:02:40.840 second amendment uh-huh uh we we love it so however get out that's essentially what the uh what they were

00:02:47.400 saying yesterday yeah you mentioned common sense and we mock this often because that's what they use

00:02:52.860 do we can we get to by the way uh the biden gun shows sat seven from pat's list uh because

00:02:58.860 in some ways he actually is proposing common sense gun reforms and i want to and in other ways he's

00:03:07.980 just flat out lying right through his communist teeth and this clip in particular he's doing both

00:03:12.820 of them i think yes and yes let me explain why because it's not it's not how they mean it common

00:03:17.540 sense here is a joe biden on gun shows most people don't know you walk into a store and you buy a gun

00:03:23.900 you have a background check but you go to a gun show you can buy whatever you want and no background

00:03:29.860 check no what no that's terrible news yeah it's not true either it's not true at all it's not true

00:03:36.560 it's a total lie now i have purchased a gun at a gun show oh have you i have and so you just walked in

00:03:43.520 and they gave it to you and you left threw it at me i it was a drive did you even have to pay for it

00:03:47.880 i bet they didn't even care if you paid for it all they asked is if look you don't have to pay for it

00:03:52.440 as long as you promised to murder innocence and i was like okay all right i'll go out and i'll find

00:03:57.260 some uh no i got a background check went through the entire process the overwhelming majority of gun

00:04:03.460 show sales go through this process only private sales like if i'm selling a gun to pat i am not a

00:04:10.160 dealer i do not have the uh i do not have the licensed i am not a licensed dealer right so i am

00:04:15.640 not the type of person who has the the the resources or how would i get a background check on someone if

00:04:22.720 i'm selling one gun i'm not a dealer if i'm giving it to my son for example uh he's a little too young

00:04:29.880 but when he grows up i'm like you know what zach wants a gun uh and you know i have this one he can

00:04:35.640 have it i'd have to go do a background check on my son like there are reasons why there are very

00:04:41.640 very very limited amount of gun sales that do not go through background checks um but yeah i went to

00:04:48.100 a gun show but i think the common knowledge the common sense says what he's saying is true right

00:04:55.040 oh wait a minute you just walk into a background you can just walk into a gun show and buy something

00:05:00.080 without a background check buy whatever you want if that was the law there'd be some sense and and

00:05:06.620 people would be upset about it and want that law changed it's just not true right so a common sense

00:05:12.980 gun reform based on a lie is not a common sense gun reform though that is what they're trying to

00:05:19.140 pitch it as they're trying to say okay well a common sense i think it's very common it's part of

00:05:24.120 common knowledge people believe that you can go to a gun show and buy whatever you want i think

00:05:28.680 because they keep repeating this lie the media says they do believe it they do believe it it's

00:05:33.040 calm it's common knowledge it's just not true knowledge right it's not actually a fact at a gun

00:05:39.860 show a private a like a private uh gun owner can sell to another person right isn't that what

00:05:46.780 that can happen at a gun show i think it can happen yes and and that has happened where a private

00:05:53.220 seller sells to somebody who came into the gun show it's all it's so minor though it's such

00:05:58.520 a small percentage of sales it's such a small you know i was talking to someone at the heritage

00:06:04.240 foundation who testified in front of congress a couple weeks ago and i asked her i'm like is there

00:06:08.280 an argument and i don't believe this but again your job as a host is to ask questions that you

00:06:14.180 think might be interesting i said is there an argument to say hey there this is such a small

00:06:20.860 percentage of sales it is such it is not an issue in this country it really isn't i mean it's basically

00:06:28.240 nothing yeah do we know of any gun crime that has been committed from a person to person sale without

00:06:36.420 a gun background check at a gun show i don't know of it i've never heard of it however is it

00:06:42.620 possible that it's happened sure of course it's possible it's very unlikely that it's certainly not a

00:06:49.340 big it's not a big factor in our overall crime problem right that is the big the big issue here

00:06:54.180 right and and i said i said where i said uh amy swears her name and i said amy is there an argument 1.00

00:06:59.320 to say maybe the right just gives up on that they use this as a talking point all the time

00:07:04.140 and it's such a small percentage of sales maybe there's a way that we make it easy for a you know

00:07:10.620 a background check to go through on on private sales i don't know you'd have to come up with a whole

00:07:15.440 new system there's all sorts of logistics in there is there an argument and she agreed with me

00:07:20.460 no you can't give one i want to swear inch to these people on this issue because they will take

00:07:29.700 a mile every single time you can't move a centimeter on guns because their goal is not

00:07:38.040 a common sense reform it is another step down the road to eventually have all of them gone

00:07:44.500 that's what they want they're not going to tell you that though occasionally they will

00:07:49.000 um you know we occasionally will hear although i'm telling you that i will say it would be nice to have

00:07:53.860 that argument completely eliminated but they'll still lie about it they'll still say they'll still

00:07:59.920 say it's happening happen and then they'll find the next thing like ghost guns is the new one

00:08:03.560 now ghost guns look there if you're a criminal and you want to go kill someone there are much

00:08:11.000 easier ways to get a gun right there is no reason for you to put it together in a kit now yes it has

00:08:19.420 happened some people have done it they do sell some of these things uh some shootings have occurred

00:08:25.740 with these types of guns but again it's a minor minor minor percentage it's much easier to go through

00:08:32.300 a neighborhood and break into somebody's house and look for guns you're much more likely uh to find

00:08:38.040 guns doing that than going through the whole process of trying to build one uh yes you could do it it is

00:08:43.900 possible they have kits that make it somewhat easy and the kits have directions and the kits have

00:08:47.940 a biden said so yesterday there are directions oh really really huh a kit with directions amazing

00:08:55.900 that's a that's incredible but like we are this is a society that we are constantly told cannot figure

00:09:03.060 out how to get a driver's license to vote but they're gonna build their own guns really it's so

00:09:11.440 over the top insane it is it's ridiculous they know i think they know they can't really do much

00:09:17.840 of anything if you look at the six things he wants to do very few of them some of them are like

00:09:22.200 we're gonna recommend to states that they do things it's like okay that's not even that's not

00:09:26.580 barely an executive order right some of it really was nonsensical but they're going after the ghost

00:09:32.120 guns probably the biggest thing they're going after are these uh these uh stabilizing grips as they're

00:09:37.460 associated to pistols yeah the pistol brace yeah because those are they those have become relatively

00:09:42.620 common again they're not involved in a lot of crimes at all but they have become relatively uh common

00:09:48.240 weapons for law-abiding citizens to own and so that therefore you know i think part of that is

00:09:55.400 because they know there's always a chance they're going to ban assault weapons so if you have you

00:10:00.720 have you get a similar feel from one of these weapons as an ar-15 though it's not an ar-15 it is a

00:10:06.400 different type of weapon it is a pistol it just feels somewhat similar so you get kind of some of

00:10:11.080 that you get some of the package of an ar-15 without having to buy an ar-15 and because you know

00:10:15.760 they might be coming to your door to take your ar-15 uh and there's other reasons to to to to own

00:10:21.320 them uh but they're good weapons and they are very effective as it particularly for females to be able 1.00

00:10:29.300 to push back against attackers you know i mean you know you want to be able to hit the guy running at

00:10:36.060 you and you want to be able to stop them and that should be something that should be that you'd think

00:10:41.600 the left would care about if they they're so feminist and and they care so much about these 1.00

00:10:45.800 evil men that they tell us are raping people all the time and attacking people all the time 0.90

00:10:52.200 and you know when it comes down to it they don't seem to want to give any protection they want to 0.81

00:10:57.460 defund the police and take away the guns yeah and he continued with his false arguments uh cut number

00:11:02.520 two from joe biden nothing nothing i'm about to recommend in any way impinges on the second

00:11:10.680 amendment nothing nothing they're phony arguments suggesting that these are second amendment rights

00:11:15.680 at stake from what we're talking he knows phony arguments he knows but no he does no amendment to

00:11:21.080 the constitution is absolute oh you can't yell crowd you can't yell fire in a crowded movie theater

00:11:26.700 we call it freedom of speech you can in the very beginning you couldn't own any weapon you wanted to own

00:11:31.720 from the very beginning the second amendment existed certain people weren't allowed to have

00:11:35.960 weapons so the idea is just bizarre to suggest that some of the things we're recommending it's

00:11:41.860 contrary to the constitution yeah okay gun violence in this country is an epidemic would you be

00:11:49.140 arrested if you yelled fire at a crowded theater no i don't think so would you be arrested though if

00:11:54.660 you yelled uh does not say that a person can shout yell wolf in a crowded theater

00:12:01.700 yeah okay so you can't yell wolf in a crowded theater but but you can yell fire i think you

00:12:08.380 you can yell wolf uh because particularly when there is a wolf in the theater i've had several

00:12:13.020 theater experiences with wolves where there's a pack of wolves running through the theater that's 1.00

00:12:17.580 scary thank god nancy pelosi was there yeah to yell wolf uh she is awful so stupid by the way i 1.00

00:12:25.180 should point out as we're telling you that nancy pelosi sucks there's something called a nancy 1.00

00:12:29.860 pelosi sucks pen.com that is available for you to tell everyone at work that nancy pelosi sucks 1.00

00:12:36.620 it's nancy pelosi sucks pen.com by the way david harsany addressed the exact issue you're talking 0.99

00:12:41.180 about pat about fire in a crowded movie theater okay this is a national review yesterday um so biden 0.54

00:12:46.360 said you can't yell fire in a crowded movie theater and call it freedom of speech harsany who's

00:12:50.600 by the way an absolute expert on the second amendment wrote an entire book about the history of guns and

00:12:54.980 he goes into a bunch of the stuff today but he says you absolutely can this is probably the weakest

00:12:59.740 and most infuriatingly overused analogy used in effort to restrict rights the line taken from

00:13:05.960 oliver wendell wendell holmes in the decision uh schneck versus the united states and subsequently

00:13:10.220 repeated by thousands of censorship apologists since was at the heart of one of the most egregious

00:13:15.620 violations of free expression in american history the schneck decision allowed the wilson administration

00:13:20.680 dun dun dun woodrow wilson to throw anti-war activists in prison for vitalating the espionage

00:13:28.220 act of 1917 it's difficult to think of more of a more legitimate exercise of political expression

00:13:34.840 than debating war and peace in any event schneck was basically overturned by the brandenburg versus

00:13:40.060 ohio decision we've heard a lot about that one recently which found that the first amendment

00:13:44.260 protects speech unless it is likely to incite quote imminent lawless action which yelling fire in a

00:13:50.280 theater does not so you actually can wow yeah i don't i don't recommend it but you actually can

00:13:56.620 yell fire in a theater and what about wolf but you cannot yell you can't under no circumstances

00:14:03.660 can i yell coyote coyote can you is that okay i'm pretty sure i just yelled it on the radio am i

00:14:11.960 gonna be arrested you can oh my understanding is you cannot yell any uh four-legged furry animals on the

00:14:18.580 radio at any point so really yeah please don't don't test it because uh you already did the coyote

00:14:24.200 thing that's already a first amendment violation oh man but if you're in a crowded theater do not

00:14:29.200 do not yell you know poodle because that is definitely a gust of the constitution

00:14:35.020 the best of the glenbeck program

00:14:41.140 you've seen the tiger woods crash he was going 87 miles an hour when he hit the tree

00:14:57.820 or 75 yeah he was going 87 when he ran into something when he first made contact

00:15:04.500 and then 75 miles an hour when he hit the tree that's incredible how did he survive that they

00:15:11.360 say the forensics showed that he didn't even tap the brake right yeah no brakes at all no so you

00:15:18.300 wonder like did he fall asleep right that's what i think happened yeah did he do it on purpose

00:15:23.100 like i don't think so but i mean like it's like that's the type of thing to go 87 miles an hour

00:15:27.860 without tapping the brakes around in a 45 mile an hour zone by the way and especially when he doesn't

00:15:32.260 remember or at least he says he doesn't yeah he doesn't remember what happened so it's gonna be

00:15:37.800 hard to pin that down it does seem like sleep is the most likely yeah i would think so but if you

00:15:44.160 fall asleep you think you'd come off of the gas but it's possible i guess if you fall a certain way

00:15:47.920 and the gas pedal stays down maybe hit cruise control on at 87 in the 45 i don't know it's a

00:15:54.660 weird it's a very very strange story and unending he should never get in an automobile again i mean

00:16:00.380 he's gotta stop getting inside automobiles yeah it just does not work out well does it no it's

00:16:05.860 that's how we found out about the whole scandal remember he was like backing down his driveway

00:16:08.880 and like crashed into a tree yeah just stop driving well i think he crashed into a tree after his wife

00:16:14.800 put a uh golf club through the back window is not what happened and he's trying to get away from her

00:16:21.320 and then he crashed into the tree so yeah he and uh suvs don't seem to mix very well 1.00

00:16:27.060 uh 888-727-BECK uh it is uh patent stew for glenn um yeah prince philip has died that seems to be

00:16:37.740 the it's a big story news of the day today i do not understand the fascination with the american

00:16:44.280 people not at all now i guess like you'd say these are elevated celebrities in great britain and if

00:16:48.800 you're in great britain maybe you care but i don't understand why our media cares so much about this

00:16:53.980 they care a lot i guess it's market forces right the only thing i could think of is market forces

00:16:59.380 you put them you put now look what's her face uh megan markle is a pseudo u.s celebrity i mean she 1.00

00:17:09.220 was on a relatively notable show i liked it a lot i like suits a lot i was a fan of that show

00:17:14.340 um but you know it was it ran for nine seasons it was on usa and had millions of people watching it

00:17:20.980 she was a main character in the show now she was not an a-list celebrity before this but she was 0.96

00:17:27.800 relatively well known and you know the fact that a an american princess an american actress has become

00:17:35.300 a princess or whatever you know however that works she a princess or a duchess duchess yeah sorry

00:17:41.040 duchess uh it's a big deal uh you know and like that you could see why that would make it that part

00:17:46.600 of it interesting for the american people okay one of our celebrities is now married into the royal

00:17:51.000 family kind of interesting yeah maybe but wall-to-wall coverage of of a 99 year old right who just passed

00:17:59.800 away doesn't really even have an impact on the situation like he's just in the family is it worth

00:18:05.480 mentioning yes but wall-to-wall coverage i mean for the last several hours that's about all they've

00:18:13.060 talked about it's amazing it really it's absolutely amazing to me i i've never understood it and uh it

00:18:22.040 just continues i really haven't even understood it for the british people because again you know it's

00:18:28.160 not like the monarchy was a good thing when was that great for them it never it was never great to

00:18:36.140 my knowledge i mean is there a beloved king that that i mean unless arthur was real and that's doubtful

00:18:44.920 they had a pretty much pretty much a string of bad guys for hundreds of years so i don't know why

00:18:53.920 they look back on it so fondly i don't know why they keep pretending that the monarchy means something

00:18:59.060 to them yeah it's really weird it's very strange i i mean it was a horror show yeah for a lot of them

00:19:07.500 yeah and by the way i mean they killed their wives they beheaded their wives these guys really is a

00:19:13.840 strange thing to continue to celebrate it is and you know not to mention it unleashed awful things all

00:19:20.280 across the globe to all sorts of different people and now it's like well yeah but we like when they're

00:19:25.880 you know it's kind of cool like they come out and they do the tea uh the tea the tea in the

00:19:31.380 afternoon that's kind of cool the tea in the afternoon so let's spend a few billion dollars

00:19:35.340 remembering it constantly right you know i don't i don't just continue to make them the richest family

00:19:40.660 in the world let's do that let's do that that's good that's good that's worthwhile it's a worthwhile

00:19:44.920 pursuit okay well good luck with that

00:19:48.080 this is the best of the glenn beck program and we really want to thank you for listening

00:19:55.520 finishing up our discussion on biden and his gun control uh legislation or not even legislation

00:20:10.280 it's these executive orders that he's that he's uh uh putting forward and just some suggestions to

00:20:17.540 states on doing other things like the red flag laws he you can't do an executive order on that so

00:20:22.680 he's recommending to states that they take up the red flag law situation uh so you found something

00:20:29.720 else interesting in his discussion yesterday yeah there's been this thing that changed

00:20:33.820 a few years ago i guess where if there was like a mass shooting everyone would say oh geez uh

00:20:41.420 thoughts and prayers are with the victims like it was a standard thing to say and it was something that

00:20:47.600 it's like a just a general there's people going through tough times and maybe we shouldn't be

00:20:52.280 talking about politics right now but even even more fundamentally than that i feel bad that these

00:20:56.720 things this happened to these people whether you agree or disagree with new laws to try to correct it

00:21:03.300 it hasn't it makes no difference just saying hey i'm thinking about you i'm praying for you are two

00:21:09.660 really basic human things it's particularly important for people who of faith to say i'm

00:21:18.640 praying for you it's you know again if you're a person of faith it's like the most important thing

00:21:23.620 you can do it's not some flippant thoughts you know okay my thoughts are with you it's a nice thing

00:21:29.140 to say as a human being to another but a prayer is something you think is really important if you're a

00:21:34.460 person of faith it's basically like the most important thing you can do uh so oddly a few

00:21:40.920 years ago it used to be something that all democrats would say you know oh gosh you know

00:21:45.540 our thoughts or prayers are with the victims here but we need to do something you know that was very

00:21:50.960 standard democratic stuff they acted as if they cared about people who believed in god all right

00:21:57.340 whether they do or not i don't know but they acted as if they cared about people who do

00:22:01.760 a few years ago that changed and it started people started saying you know what i'm sick of

00:22:07.600 hearing about thoughts and prayers what does that do it doesn't stop these things thoughts and prayers

00:22:11.840 are not enough and we got into this thing where at first it was just people on twitter or crazy like

00:22:17.440 left-wing writers that would say oh thoughts and prayers are not enough and then it crossed over

00:22:21.380 into politicians where politicians would say it they'd say like i you know thoughts and prayers

00:22:27.940 are just not enough here we need to do something now it's very revealing

00:22:31.580 pat to me that a person who claims to be of faith would say that praying isn't doing something

00:22:37.660 right with some prayers we as a prayers we need to do something actually if you're a person of faith

00:22:44.020 praying is doing something for sure it's vital to this and you might not agree with that you might

00:22:50.920 not believe in prayers you might not believe in god but like if you're talking about a person of faith

00:22:56.480 which all of these democrats say they are i mean listen to nancy pelosi she speaks she sounds like a 0.82

00:23:01.200 preacher half the time when she's talking about laws and they say oh thoughts and prayers we need

00:23:06.580 to actually do something thoughts and prayers are not enough joe biden took that to a whole new level

00:23:12.100 during the speech and very few people have noticed it i i've never i don't know that i've ever heard

00:23:17.640 a politician ask for this before whether congress acts or not i'm going to use all the resources at my

00:23:25.160 disposal as president to keep the american people safe from gun violence all right but there's much

00:23:29.660 more that congress can do okay to help that effort and they can do it right now

00:23:35.840 they've offered plenty of thoughts and prayers members of congress here it is but they passed not

00:23:42.520 a single new federal law to reduce gun violence okay standard enough prayers time for some action

00:23:49.780 wait yeah enough prayers enough prayers so you're saying we should stop praying this is not thoughts

00:23:56.080 and prayers are not enough this is please discontinue the activity of praying yeah enough prayers

00:24:03.580 this is from the big time catholic that it means so much to him oh it means so much to him means so

00:24:10.240 much he is deep deep faith some of the things mean so much to him yeah not everything everything

00:24:15.920 clearly obviously thou shalt not blah blah blah i mean who knows what they really meant by that maybe

00:24:22.900 they did you know look maybe maybe they don't want all the babies to be alive who needs all of them

00:24:31.600 there's so many there's so loud you're right you know i but that's a whole different story and then

00:24:38.680 he essentially tells you to stop praying stop praying enough prayers enough prayers that's just

00:24:42.420 no i mean maybe that was just him crazy you know blubbering through another line which is not

00:24:47.680 impossible but this it's surprising how dismissive these people are over faith now it is it's just 0.99

00:24:54.120 like ah your your prayers suck stop doing them not only they're not helping from you christians yeah 0.97

00:25:00.940 it's really like that dismissive and it's because of course this is what they have thought the entire 0.99

00:25:05.840 time but we're usually used to be smart enough not to say it now they're just blurting it out stop

00:25:10.980 praying we'd like that activity to cease please yeah all the only thing that is doing something is

00:25:18.760 government if government does something then it's real but if it's you praying your prayers that's

00:25:26.060 nothing again i you might believe that and that's up to you this is you know america but joe biden

00:25:33.240 supposedly is a catholic right and they and they it used to be that they wouldn't dare say something

00:25:39.180 like that but now they just they do they just do it really is amazing uh all right 888-727-BECK let's

00:25:46.740 go to kenton in georgia hi you're on the glenbeck program with patents too hey what's up guys hey

00:25:52.260 so i tried to do this about three years ago my son had the great idea that it would be fun for us to do

00:25:58.560 this together the ghost gun yeah ghost gun yeah i spent about a hundred bucks buying the tool that

00:26:05.380 we needed i bought them used because i knew i'd never use them again right and we spent about a

00:26:10.580 week watching videos together figuring it all out before we dove into it it was a nightmare

00:26:17.700 it didn't turn out well or it just took too long oh no i completely we ruined the lower half that we

00:26:26.380 bought because we bought two of them okay ruined the first one then the jig that we were using which

00:26:32.440 was supposed to be the best jig on the market completely ruined that oh man so now i still

00:26:39.220 have the second lower in the original packaging in my face yes that's we didn't even try to get

00:26:44.760 but this is what all drug dealers are doing right now they're just like you know what let's just get

00:26:50.600 the jig and we'll get that all set up it's like ridiculous this is not a core part of this of the

00:26:58.340 problem of gun violence in this country uh absolutely incredible and this is exactly how i would expect

00:27:03.140 to thank you kenton i appreciate the uh phone call uh let's try uh justin justin welcome to the glenbeck

00:27:08.760 program with pat and stew hey guys how are you doing good uh anyway we're trying to outlaw an

00:27:15.780 inanimate object why does it not take a human being to operate that and if that's the case

00:27:23.060 that the inanimate objects are killing people why not outlaw them all they could potentially kill

00:27:28.960 somebody it is a ridiculous flaw in their basic logic and thanks justin for the call there's this

00:27:35.200 this is the same thing when he was talking about uh suing gun manufacturers another lie another lie

00:27:42.540 first of all you can sue gun manufacturers there is limited uh shield they have and it's limited 0.97

00:27:48.140 because if you screw up with their device like you do something stupid with a gun and misuse it

00:27:54.720 then they can't be held liable for that right and of course that i mean it makes sense of course that 0.93

00:27:59.860 would be ridiculous yeah you know if you were to buy a car a toyota you should not be able to sue

00:28:05.760 toyota because you decided to run somebody over it's not toyota's fault it's what you did with it 0.83

00:28:11.900 it's not a crime until you actually commit the crime and that's why it would be ridiculous the

00:28:16.700 reason why joe biden wants it so badly is because he knows he can sue these people out of existence

00:28:21.620 you could just file a million frivolous lawsuits and they will most of these companies will have to

00:28:26.200 shut down and that's of course what they want uh brian in north carolina welcome to the glenbeck

00:28:31.240 program with pat and stew thank you uh this is an absurd conversation i can't even believe we're

00:28:37.340 having it the um second amendment was designed so that we could maintain a militia not go bird 0.52

00:28:44.280 hunting although i like the idea of bird hunting it's just uh as we have progressed in in ways of

00:28:52.380 needing to defend ourselves because those around us who would seek to hurt us have greater ways to

00:28:58.280 hurt us we should have greater ways of defending ourselves we don't need a 22 short to defend our

00:29:05.660 homes anymore um having an ar may be necessary at some point but you said you said something a few

00:29:11.160 minutes ago that made a lot of sense to me you said that this is more than just for defense and

00:29:15.720 that's the truth the people that are buying these ars are buying them yes for defense but a lot of them 1.00

00:29:20.920 are buying them because it's an art or a skill or a hobby some of them are doing as a form of an

00:29:25.920 investment for retirement because uh you know money is about worthless anymore and so they they stockpile

00:29:31.860 guns not to use them but to have them in storage for their future there's nothing wrong with this

00:29:37.740 and if we outlaw every gun in the world i mean even blue bloods is now even using knives for their 0.99

00:29:43.480 murders there's not a lot of guns on tv anymore people are going to find a way to kill somebody

00:29:48.080 even if they don't have a gun it's absurd yeah no it's very true and brian thanks for the call it's

00:29:53.040 true i you know it but most of the people buying these things are people like the callers we're talking to

00:29:58.020 who are average people who might want to try to do this maybe they're they're collectors you know

00:30:02.960 there's something you can go buy a table at ikea there's something about building it yourself that

00:30:09.180 the american people have always praised that instinct it's always been something uh that people love i have

00:30:13.940 a friend who who uh loves playing poker and is building his own poker table he can go to amazon and

00:30:19.760 get a freaking poker table delivered in the next day he's building his own because he wants to do it

00:30:24.380 that there's just that's just that that is something you can't make illegal and of course 0.55

00:30:29.540 it's not going to work even if you do the the australian law is the thing that i always loved

00:30:34.260 going back to because they they bought back about 20 of the guns in the country and it was supposed to

00:30:41.360 really help gun violence showed no effect by the way all the studies afterwards showed that had no

00:30:45.260 effect on gun violence but if you were to do that here you'd have to buy like a hundred million guns

00:30:51.760 first of all just the cost of that buying back 100 million guns you take the the the way how would

00:30:59.760 you do that gun owners are not going to you know maybe you could get 20 of them back maybe i mean

00:31:04.720 maybe oh i doubt it maybe but i mean there's some people who probably wouldn't care maybe i don't know

00:31:08.860 but let's just say you could yeah what does what does that leave you with a country with 300 million

00:31:14.600 guns in it it makes no freaking difference the people who are going to commit crimes with them are not

00:31:20.300 going to give them back to you and the other people there's still going to be plenty of guns

00:31:24.240 out there to commit crimes with so you're going to disarm the the law-abiding citizens right is 0.93

00:31:30.060 what you're going to do not only unconstitutional but it is also uh completely ridiculous uh let's 0.54

00:31:36.980 try noah line eight uh in texas noah welcome to the glenbeck program with pat and stew and you have

00:31:42.440 a phone call did we lose him he just put it do you believe this this guy just put it down let's

00:31:49.400 let's see if he answers it hello yes hi oh no why did you pick up this phone this call and not the

00:31:56.560 other phone that was ringing well the other one's my business phone ringing and i think it's more 0.81

00:32:01.420 important talk to you guys right there you go there we go that's america for the heck with your 0.62

00:32:05.040 customer all right go ahead all right noah you were talking about uh you called in on the ghost gun

00:32:09.340 conversation yes sir yeah so i've built quite a few of these things uh not for anybody else but

00:32:14.900 only for myself and it takes a lot of money investing in it and one you can't you never

00:32:21.920 do it perfectly unless you have a cnc machine the cnc machines that they make for these things 0.97

00:32:27.500 run about three thousand dollars and that's for the wow

00:32:32.080 even then half the time you don't do it perfect i gotta admit i mean these are precise instruments

00:32:40.340 this is not like you know you're it's gonna be very difficult to do on your own um how do you've

00:32:46.460 built a bunch of these for your own do you know a lot about guns or yes sir yeah i have a gun store

00:32:52.280 and so build my own guns is kind of the hobby of mine and it gives me a sense of pride especially

00:32:57.160 whenever i'm uh out shooting them or harvesting animals with them and uh so that it's kind of

00:33:03.300 just a hobby of mine i enjoy it i take pride in it this is a great point because like the guy owns a

00:33:10.100 gun store he can get guns but he's building them himself because you know it is it's a point of

00:33:16.040 pride it's it's a cool thing to go through uh noah thanks so much for the phone call appreciate it

00:33:19.620 you
