00:00:00.000 welcome to the podcast today we go into what happened in minnesota uh and los angeles riots

00:00:06.240 broke out targets were burned to the ground auto zone the ultimate enemy of racial harmony 0.92

00:00:12.020 was torched with the reaction to this uh killing in in uh in minneapolis is not was not pretty

00:00:19.300 last night and it seems to be getting worse we go into the details on that um also get into uh

00:00:25.880 some bizarre stories about the internet where it seems like people watch youtube and it just gets

00:00:32.560 them very angry and it sets them off on tangents and they try to ruin people's lives we'll get into

00:00:38.320 that story as well and we look at the parade of coverage and parade might be the right word

00:00:43.060 for the 100 000 people who have died of covid here in the united states it's almost oddly celebratory

00:00:50.020 by some in the media we'll look at that coverage as well don't forget to subscribe uh to the podcast

00:00:55.720 here and as well pat gray unleashed and stew does america because it's of course pat and stew and

00:01:00.960 for glenn this week he's back on monday uh you can also get our shows on blaze tv at blaze tv.com

00:01:14.860 you can also search for pat gray unleashed and find that uh as well as uh all the social media stuff

00:01:20.080 we'd love for you to subscribe and and keep in touch with the show we're getting closer and closer to

00:01:24.560 the election making sure everybody's got the right information leading into it so we can tell

00:01:30.040 everybody the truth and win these arguments is really important so now's a great time to get

00:01:34.160 involved with the shows if you have that time here's the podcast

00:01:37.280 you're listening to the best of the glenn beck program

00:01:47.440 all right take the vaccine or or not if and when it's developed i mean we don't even have one yet

00:01:59.120 to consider and in fact uh one of these the oxford study the the oxford vaccine that they've been

00:02:08.300 talking about that showed real promise they've only had 50 success with that so but that would

00:02:13.960 be a big step in the right direction if it was true i mean you know the the flu vaccine a lot of

00:02:18.860 times is only 30 and 40 effective uh but it you know if they could get 50 that would be a massive

00:02:24.080 step that does not mean that's anything we can lock down right now right uh okay let's go to uh

00:02:29.520 is it al in west virginia al you're on the glenn beck program with patents too hi yes hello hey

00:02:35.100 uh you want to if i'm going to take that vaccine no way no way no and it's not because i'm from west

00:02:41.360 virginia where the stereotype is that we're all rednecks i'm originally from the philadelphia area

00:02:45.420 but and i graduated from wharton also but i'm retired now 73 years old and i don't even take

00:02:53.840 the flu shot and i tell you why because i same thing i tell my doctor it gives you a false sense

00:02:58.740 of security people get that flu shot and that doesn't prevent them it's only one of the strains

00:03:03.540 i one time the pharmacist said you got to get your flu shot and i said next week i can buy the

00:03:09.340 pharmacist was out sick i said what happened to her she said she got the flu

00:03:12.740 it's definitely not perfect it's definitely not thanks al appreciate it uh yeah that's that's an

00:03:20.100 interesting thing you know i i think what al was kind of alluding to there is is is true and

00:03:25.300 important if that we like implement some of these things back into normal life one of the ones that's

00:03:31.240 been talked about is the removal of the handshake from our world which i don't miss it yeah i'm not

00:03:35.800 fine with that i'm fine with it but if that were to happen we would also cut flu deaths down

00:03:40.740 like we like yeah it would be nice to get rid of a lot of this crap yeah maybe we're so we're so

00:03:45.100 used to being in this like period where we don't want to you know get into each other's faces and

00:03:49.540 openly sneeze as often maybe we should continue that just us just a recommendation yeah uh mike in

00:03:56.740 kentucky you're on the glenbeck program with pat and stew yeah thanks for taking my call um i think

00:04:02.880 you asked whether i would drink the kool-aid i'm sorry take the vaccine yeah yeah so i was gonna say

00:04:09.060 something along the lines of what al said i'm an attorney and i don't i don't lack education but

00:04:13.940 i will tell you that i i don't take the flu shot the one time i took it i got sick but i i look at

00:04:19.180 this and i say believing that a vaccine is going to protect you and there's going to be multiple

00:04:25.460 strains out there to me that's like saying i believe it's true because sienna and said it it's

00:04:29.540 i just don't think the science supports the idea that a vaccine is going to keep you safe

00:04:35.920 yeah look it depends on on what the effectiveness is and stuff you know there's a lot of people i

00:04:40.720 think that are just not going to take it no matter what the facts are on it right i mean like i think

00:04:44.800 we've heard from a couple of here you just don't trust it yeah you just don't trust it and and that's

00:04:48.640 i think that should be your right you know if you want to if you want to say i'm not it absolutely

00:04:52.320 should be your right now look i'm the type of guy who wants to take your vaccines that you're not

00:04:56.280 taking it i'll take multiple doses i want so many vaccines i want needles all over my body because

00:05:01.640 i'm taking 900 vaccines at the same time i'm i'm not in that world at all yeah but that doesn't

00:05:07.820 matter right this is the united states of america if you don't want to vaccinate yourself against this

00:05:12.520 you may very well uh deal with with the illness you may well what happened to my body my choice

00:05:19.040 exactly that's what we've been told over and over again yeah i thought that was the left-wing

00:05:23.480 philosophy on life i thought so too and i will say the anti-vaccine thing and and i don't mean to

00:05:27.900 characterize that too widely but like the people who are generally speaking don't like vaccines is

00:05:32.500 not really a left or right issue i mean the most famous face of it is jenny mccarthy yeah and jim

00:05:38.340 carrey and jfk jr right right the rfk jr rfk jr yes um this has been a very widely spread thing on

00:05:46.100 the left as well and you know look if you don't want to do it you shouldn't have to do it

00:05:49.080 you can't i to me you can't force people to do these things but you know me i mean i i'm going

00:05:55.680 right to bill gates house right now just pulling out any needle he has and sticking it in my arm

00:05:58.840 the best of the greg back program

00:06:03.140 the parades for the hundred thousand death mark have been happening in the mainstream media

00:06:13.780 that's a hell of a way to put it yes i mean they they love that number they love it and because

00:06:21.440 why they can beat trump over the head with it i think that's the full reasoning behind it yeah

00:06:27.780 they are treating it a little bit like the bicentennial which is not yes they should feel

00:06:32.160 like that no i don't think it should either uh that's the only reason though i can come up with

00:06:36.720 right i mean they do seem to just think well this looks bad for trump because and again there's a lot

00:06:44.020 of question marks associated with this argument because it doesn't make any sense trump has not

00:06:48.280 is not led every part of this it is a state-by-state response uh there have been some things you can be

00:06:54.540 critical of there would be a lot of things i think you can also look at and say have gone pretty well

00:06:59.120 we're in the middle of the pack worldwide when it comes to per capita death rate we're not at the

00:07:03.200 bottom we're not at the top you know we didn't do as well as countries that have authoritarian regimes

00:07:07.420 and can just lock other people away and lie and lie about the real right you're gonna do a lot

00:07:12.020 does anybody believe china has around 5 000 deaths from this i i'm pleased that's preposterous preposterous

00:07:18.240 and even that remember it was only 3 000 a little while ago and then oh yeah we're adding a couple

00:07:23.300 thousand you know like we all know it's higher right much even if you were to argue they locked down so

00:07:29.580 hard that they were able to control it within their borders in the time in between when people

00:07:34.520 left left there were breakouts outside of of the country people were coming back in yes there would

00:07:41.400 be it's quite clear and and there have been estimates of tens of thousands more um you know

00:07:46.920 it's funny uh you mentioned china because i had this thought yesterday because we're talking about

00:07:50.500 brazil on stew does america by the way you can subscribe to that on youtube or on a podcast also pat

00:07:55.440 gray unleashed i was uh i was looking at brazil and we're doing something on that brazil is basically

00:08:01.060 the hot point of the world right now you know the united states is on a decline we're opening up we're

00:08:07.200 doing these things brazil is where we were in like the second week of april you know the the absolute

00:08:14.400 like increasing every day they actually passed us in daily death rate uh two days ago um although we

00:08:22.460 took you know we took the title took the title back yesterday and we know we have a lot more people

00:08:26.880 than they do you'd expect it to be slightly higher but they're in real trouble like and they don't have

00:08:30.840 the medical system that we do they think there's already 30 000 people who have died there they believe

00:08:37.220 it's much much much higher than that in reality and i thought to myself it's weird that the the global

00:08:44.000 hot spot would be brazil and yet i hadn't heard anything about venezuela now venezuela can barely

00:08:52.240 keep people alive in normal times nothing they're not getting any effects from this at all what is

00:08:57.580 going on and so i started doing some research on it and there's actually a new report out um from

00:09:03.140 johns hopkins about venezuela how many do they claim how have that have died from the virus so they

00:09:08.340 have a population of 30 million people right so far covet 19 deaths in venezuela 10 10 deaths just

00:09:16.200 10 not 10 000 not 10 million 10 10 10 people 10 people have died so far doing a pretty good job

00:09:22.080 they must be doing a great job right not lying to us or just letting people die and never figuring

00:09:26.680 it out uh so they did they say they've only had 1 121 cases which is i mean obviously ridiculous right

00:09:34.560 we all know that that's ridiculous they've decided now to go in they've talked to the doctors on the

00:09:38.980 ground they've tried to do a study to estimate where they actually are they believe there are 30 000

00:09:45.280 more deaths than they're reporting wow 30 000 more covet deaths now that is that would make them

00:09:52.440 a massive hot spot we have no idea what's happening you know it's interesting when you look at the

00:09:57.760 numbers from around the world we are all focusing on numbers of countries that are relatively

00:10:02.820 toward the you know the top of the economic chain that have well-developed health systems that are

00:10:10.300 reporting their data i mean china is an exception because of of the authoritarian nature of of their

00:10:16.600 government but there are a lot of countries out there that are reporting their data i think the

00:10:20.420 best way that they can um it's the the situation is there are two-thirds of the nations on earth that

00:10:27.120 would not fall into that category and there's like the entire continent of africa what's going on there

00:10:31.980 we know we've had outbreaks in specific areas but there have not we have no concept of what's going on

00:10:38.540 there there are some reasons to believe it's not as bad in a situation like that because people are

00:10:42.520 spread out naturally and there's some things that could play into that but you know you look at some

00:10:46.580 some of the cities they're very jam-packed you know uh i believe it was in india where they were

00:10:52.220 saying one of the doctors in india was saying look social distancing we know it sucks for you but like

00:10:57.000 that's a luxury we all we have like eight people in this room there's no social distancing that

00:11:02.800 happens yeah we can't we don't we're not gonna get a trillion dollar bailout from our government

00:11:06.700 we're just gonna wind up having to deal with this on our own and those a lot some of those places

00:11:10.860 have really flared up out of control for understandable reasons they already had problems

00:11:15.520 in these countries and and this is just making it a lot worse but the our our um when we passed i

00:11:23.380 think it was spain in daily uh death count when spain was number one and then we came up and passed

00:11:28.800 them that was something that was going on the front page of papers that was something that was

00:11:33.400 discussed by the media like crazy this is this is horrific and we know we know whose fault it is

00:11:38.640 it's the orange guy in the white house and when that we reversed and it was brazil it wasn't either

00:11:46.180 not mentioned at all which was in most cases or they said brazil passed us by the way their president

00:11:51.940 is basically donald trump because they like to say that about the brazilian president he's right he's

00:11:56.060 very well aligned with donald trump he's he's a populist like donald trump he's doing the same things

00:11:59.880 donald trump is doing so how these stories it's incredible they find a way to tie them to uh to

00:12:07.620 donald trump in every way and to go back quickly to what we were talking about last hour you know

00:12:11.940 who hasn't really been tied to the story yet is donald trump why he said yesterday made a statement

00:12:18.580 that said the doj and the fbi or whatever i think it was he said the doj was was investigating this and

00:12:25.280 we will get justice that's been his only comment about it so his comment has not been able to

00:12:29.820 advance the narrative that he's horrible so therefore he's just not associated with the

00:12:33.520 story yet when he says something out of line with what he's supposed to say he will become the only

00:12:38.160 story if he said nothing yesterday he would be it would be a big story today of why is the president

00:12:42.820 silent on this death well the banner on cnn all morning long up until and i don't think it's there

00:12:50.100 yeah but the u.s surpasses 100 000 deaths in less than four months that is the banner the banner

00:12:55.680 they had most of two hours while i was on the air this morning was trump silent as 100 000 plus

00:13:03.320 americans die from coronavirus wait wait he's been talking about this constantly he was doing press

00:13:08.540 conferences every day it didn't start with 100 000 he's been commenting all along unbelievable and i guess

00:13:15.700 you have to comment uh every round number we hit now or something um but do you know there are there

00:13:23.980 are 600 000 people that die from cancer every single year and heart disease too and heart disease and car

00:13:31.640 accidents and i guess it doesn't those people don't matter at all because you're not asking him to

00:13:36.700 comment on that no is it worse if you die from coronavirus than if you die from cancer

00:13:41.420 no are you super dead from coronavirus and only mostly dead with uh cancer i mean there are

00:13:49.280 different problems right uh you know you're not necessarily going to go in and catch cancer at a

00:13:54.440 restaurant i understand the differences here and look this has been four months so the pace is high

00:13:59.620 yeah and it spreads it's an infectious disease this is different than all these comparisons but you're

00:14:05.300 right it is not it is not something that is is put in person into perspective uh by the media he's

00:14:11.800 talked about it they were complaining he was talking about it too much in the press conferences

00:14:14.600 right remember that that was a big story they're not even covering the press which he stopped doing

00:14:18.640 and then they were pissed about that then they were pissed about that right that's the that's the

00:14:22.220 issue here is this is just a tool for them it's not just a tool for them but it's the way they're

00:14:27.620 utilizing it yeah they are it is a i you know it's a real issue but they do not they don't seem to care

00:14:33.780 about the issue as much as they care about getting this guy this guy who's in their head all the

00:14:38.180 time they got to get him out of their head if they could just get him out of office he'll be out of

00:14:41.680 their head forever i swear that's the way they look at these stories every day no doubt about it

00:14:45.620 you're listening to the best of the glenn beck program

00:14:52.700 you know it makes perfect sense that when uh somebody dies at the hand of a police officer

00:15:15.140 in minneapolis you burn down an auto zone location right when you just you set fire to auto zone and

00:15:22.400 uh and then that sets everything right yeah i mean i'm not an expert on on police violence per

00:15:27.940 se but i do know that most of it is caused by auto parts yeah uh that's my understanding of the

00:15:32.780 situation well auto parts and then you know strip malls uh huge i mean how many of us hate strip malls

00:15:39.180 um and so you got to burn those down and and then you have to steal tvs from target well they need to

00:15:45.400 be rescued those tvs needed to be rescued they've been held hostage by target for far too long yeah and

00:15:51.500 who's saying anything about nobody nobody you know i mean we were all on the same page i think

00:15:58.180 yeah that's where i started the day too we were kind of on the same page yeah uh a really huge

00:16:05.740 injustice happened a real awful tragedy a despicable act by that cop who yes should be charged with some

00:16:13.880 form of murder i agree with you and i think he will be i can't imagine him not being mayor's

00:16:20.560 called for it i i mean they can't just no bill the guy now they've already fired him so he's he's

00:16:28.500 obviously done something wrong and they know that so he's going to be charged i would imagine sometime

00:16:34.500 very soon uh once the investigation is over then they're going to charge somebody with something

00:16:39.300 and maybe all four of them being accessories i don't know uh but okay so we're there i don't

00:16:45.540 know anybody who said no that looked that looked like it was fine to me that looked uh i i've never

00:16:49.880 heard anybody say that and we should stop and emphasize that point for a second i know of no one

00:16:55.580 no one who made a case for the officers in this story i don't think so either there may be somebody

00:17:00.160 i'm sure there's people on twitter right i'm sure there are individuals in the world who have done it

00:17:05.000 i'm sure i haven't seen it if if well you know is david duke saying you know what maybe this should

00:17:10.360 have happened maybe i don't know you know there could be somebody out there i'm not saying there

00:17:14.120 are literally zero people but i have heard literally zero people make the case for the officers in this

00:17:20.660 situation right and i but what is so clear about this is it has nothing to do with what happened

00:17:27.540 going and rioting and taking nothing to do with it has nothing to do you're not helping the cause

00:17:33.340 you're not doing it for the man who died nope i mean it's just it is a it's a pathetic response

00:17:41.740 to a tragic situation and what does this do to your community what does this do to the poor 0.57

00:17:49.700 single mom trying to support her children who now can't get anything at target you know like it's very

00:17:56.720 central to your life it's very central to my life for sure target um but it's central to your life if

00:18:01.900 you're in a community where you're looking to try to find things at good prices and in plentiful

00:18:06.040 supply now that place is gone your car breaks down you need to fix it that place is gone uh you know

00:18:12.320 gas stations are now gone if you need gas to get out of this place that's on fire that's gone what

00:18:17.960 good does this do and what does it do to your community long term if i were to say to you right

00:18:22.260 now pat hey i'm moving to ferguson what would you say everyone would say like whoa really is it okay

00:18:27.480 like now ferguson may be much much better than it was but everyone thinks of ferguson they think of

00:18:33.000 riots when you think of uh watts you think of riots riots right like these places you damage your

00:18:40.040 community for decades going forward by doing things essentially forever yeah i mean the watts riots

00:18:46.740 happened in 1967 or 68 and we're still talking we're still mentioning them yeah right yeah i mean

00:18:52.200 los angeles we joked about at the beginning of the show you know you go to certain areas of los angeles

00:18:56.620 that are famous for this for these events and that's what people think of how do you how do

00:19:02.640 property values rise for people in the future what dumb business puts their business back in this area

00:19:10.160 for a few years why why on earth if your target would you why would you now minneapolis target is 0.93

00:19:15.860 is from minneapolis isn't it isn't it no i think it is yeah um so they've had locations all over the

00:19:20.540 place but like you know if you're a small business you're going to open up and you have a choice

00:19:23.680 between that neighborhood that was just set on fire or a neighborhood three miles down the road

00:19:27.960 six miles down the road where are you going where are you going i'm going down the road yeah

00:19:31.760 i mean without question and what for what and i'd like to say oh well you know what there are people

00:19:38.560 that will say look they're angry this is a tragic situation all of that can be true you know what 99

00:19:44.920 percent of people didn't act that way the people who went out there and stole televisions did it to

00:19:48.720 benefit themselves financially period they don't that has nothing to do with this guy who was killed

00:19:56.340 it is taking advantage of a crisis yep it's never letting a good crisis go to waste that's what

00:20:02.360 they've learned and that's what they're doing you see the footage inside of this target it's like it's

00:20:05.740 like we should show that because it's unbelievable yeah you know i don't i don't even know how to

00:20:11.740 how these how this can happen you know and and you go down the area where an auto zone

00:20:18.040 is on fire and the fire department's not coming if they come they're getting they're getting shot

00:20:25.980 at they're getting things thrown at them we saw this at least with the police at one point there's

00:20:30.220 a guy laying down on the ground a police officer stops to help him and they knock his windows in so

00:20:36.080 he has to pull away the hell are you doing like i'm not saying there's rational decision making 0.98

00:20:41.520 being made here obviously there's not but this is it's it's the type of of ridiculous nonsense 0.96

00:20:47.340 in a moment pat where we're all in the moment of like we like puppies we like ice cream everybody

00:20:56.100 agrees on this topic right we're all in the same place this was a terrible thing the police were in

00:21:01.680 the wrong somebody should be charged with some form of murder whatever you decide that is second

00:21:06.300 degree negligent homicide whatever again i'm not a lawyer but i mean i i whatever it is to my eye

00:21:11.680 certainly that's what it was they need to be held accountable judicious judiciously yeah and we have

00:21:16.540 a system to deal with this and and and the the and it's being dealt with by the way right there it's

00:21:22.740 this is not one of those situations where these guys are still working there's so many shifts it's

00:21:26.560 not like the the police department is saying oh these guys didn't do anything wrong yeah i haven't

00:21:31.180 even heard the police department defend them no they fired they didn't even they were just following

00:21:36.080 procedure no none of that they're not saying any of it none of it so what are you doing oh you're

00:21:43.140 just messing up your community that's what you're doing you're destroying your community yeah glenn was

00:21:47.680 and the goodwill yeah exactly because glenn used to it used to make this point all the time when we

00:21:52.780 would go out on these marches and stuff for for issues that we thought were important and his case was

00:21:57.600 always we need to be basically perfect when we did the rally in washington dc the idea was no

00:22:05.080 signs don't bring any signs to the rally rally in in washington dc restoring uh honor why because

00:22:13.880 if one person's going to have a sign that's distasteful it's going to be the only thing

00:22:17.080 covered yeah you're afraid that somebody's going to do something goofy yeah somebody's going to have

00:22:21.440 the wrong kind of sign yeah and then that's all people will focus on pick up your trash well that's

00:22:27.060 what's happened now we said pick up your trash because we wanted to show that we could leave that

00:22:30.740 place cleaner than when we got there right yeah and and this goes back to this is not some right-wing

00:22:36.080 tactic this is something that martin luther king uh focused on all the time saying that you know if

00:22:42.760 we want to win we have to show we're on the right side of this so when we're being attacked by police

00:22:47.500 don't let them get a freeze frame of us fighting back right it was to that extreme you know and you're

00:22:53.140 not going to help your cause by burning down a freaking target how is this possibly something

00:22:59.140 that has to be said i don't know i don't know and you know what i keep coming to the same conclusion 0.56

00:23:04.740 it's not about helping the cause what yes the people who did those things last night are out there to

00:23:09.860 help themselves they want free crap they know the police are not going to arrest them so they're just

00:23:15.320 stealing things yes period yes 0.92

00:23:18.200 you
