00:02:45.660 you uh seen any uh neighborhood civil wars breaking out uh is this happening in your neighborhood you

00:02:51.620 should ask because i noticed last week in my neighborhood as i was leaving that uh there's

00:02:56.800 a guy that put up a trump sign right on the corner as you leave the neighborhood and i thought

00:03:00.860 well that takes some guts that takes some guts i don't know that i would do that put a trump sign

00:03:06.420 in your yard now and you're on a main corner you know he's a corner house right yeah and not not

00:03:12.560 in deep inside the neighborhood i thought boy that takes some guts then like three days later i turned

00:03:19.060 down the street and two other houses have biden harris signs in the front yard so the wars have

00:03:25.180 started man this is how the hunger game started people don't know that this is how the hunger game

00:03:30.220 started i mean in today's world like we did we had the story earlier uh earlier this week about the

00:03:35.280 lady who got a strongly worded letter from the neighbors because of her trump sign yes right 0.98

00:03:40.420 and she and they were they just hated her and wanted her to get rid of the sign in fact and it's 0.60

00:03:45.000 amazing because she's a mexican-american single mother whose parents are legal immigrants so i mean 0.86

00:03:51.260 i guess that doesn't matter if it's a trump sign right the trump 2020 sign doesn't matter who you are

00:03:57.280 my wife uh lisa page made me do it on on instagram of course uh as she would make me tell you uh posted

00:04:03.860 that that's the first place i saw it was on her feed because it was some some local area around

00:04:07.340 here where this letter came in and it's a letter basically saying hey uh i saw your trump sign just

00:04:13.460 wanted to thank you for being uh hating immigrants right and hating people like me you're you're this

00:04:18.060 is a loud statement as to what you think about people like me and who you're yeah and it was like

00:04:22.240 this really angry thing and of course she didn't realize that she had actually delivered it to a

00:04:26.820 mexican-american yeah who was a trump supporter just incredible and that got me and then that's

00:04:33.000 when you know i see the trump sign in my neighborhood i'm thinking i don't know that i would do that

00:04:36.560 i don't know that i put up the i mean it's i barely want to put up a flag anymore right that's crazy 0.96

00:04:42.320 that's crazy uh because that is that that that is not america right if you can't put up a freaking 0.56

00:04:50.680 american flag and i know you're exaggerating a little bit here but like the trump thing is like

00:04:55.580 legitimate if you put a trump sticker on your car you've got a good chance of it getting keyed

00:04:59.200 yeah and the point is like yes i there's two parts of me on this one is like i i want to put

00:05:04.380 every political sign on my car you know i want to put pro-life i want to put everything on there

00:05:08.320 just because i hate the idea that this would be someone who's been angered by it yeah on the other

00:05:14.020 side i realize that no person in in american history has changed their mind over a bumper sticker or a

00:05:20.340 sign i don't know about that i may have i may have gone to a restaurant or two because of a bumper sticker

00:05:25.460 yes advertisement i guess does work uh but i used to they used to have these signs i used to always

00:05:29.760 think this was the worst thing in the world down in uh in philadelphia when i would i would be on my

00:05:34.380 commute to the studios there and there would be these signs in the neighborhoods that would say

00:05:39.060 um vote line seven yeah and you're like yeah yeah vote line seven you're not even going to tell me

00:05:46.220 what it is or what the name is because it becomes just a cultural thing right you know uh we were

00:05:53.500 driving through a neighborhood in here in texas and there must have been an 80 to 1 ratio of trump

00:05:58.880 to biden signs like it was okay one of these big complexes every single one trump sign everywhere

00:06:05.440 it was one of these deep deep red one little biden harris and then one little biden person you're like

00:06:10.140 look i do i am i voting for joe biden no but it you'd like the the the the bravery to at least stick

00:06:17.440 the line the stick the sign in your life absolutely and i felt bad about thinking about this guy putting

00:06:21.880 up his trump uh trump pence 2020 sign in the front yard on this corner lot i'm thinking

00:06:27.160 yeah i you know this is a main road coming out of the neighborhood i don't know that i would do that

00:06:32.240 it might be accidentally have uh you know oops did that brick fly out of the back of my pickup truck up

00:06:37.780 against your house sorry one of the things they're saying now is people are putting signs in areas

00:06:42.960 where they can't be trashed so instead of putting them out on the corner where you would normally put

00:06:47.900 them they're putting them in trees they're putting them behind fences like hanging over a fence so

00:06:53.380 you'd have to get out of your car and go all the way up to the house to take down the sign which is 0.89

00:06:57.520 a little bit more difficult to do that is like how can this be our country it's so ridiculous and it's

00:07:03.640 not the same as you know during election season where you have the empty corner lots with 80 signs

00:07:09.140 you know vote for this judge vote for that judge yes on 18 yeah okay and they have like you know

00:07:16.500 there's 50 signs as you're at the red light okay that's fine i just thought i saw a story from

00:07:22.140 montana where they it was some guy came on to somebody's property and tore their signs down off

00:07:28.120 of their front porch and then set them on fire in their front lawn well they had their kids sleeping

00:07:33.780 about 10 feet away inside the house and you don't know when that fire is gonna spread i mean that

00:07:41.220 it just it's insanity what people are doing most definitely over a trump sign get over it he's one

00:07:47.520 of the two major candidates yeah like he's the president of the united states by the way yeah

00:07:51.860 uh move on with your life who hates people and can't stand them and we know how you that that's

00:07:59.240 exactly how you feel and because he hates people you must now absolutely that's what that sign means

00:08:04.840 that's what that sign means have you seen friends and stuff in your life relatives that have blown up

00:08:10.580 their relationships over this yet have you been seeing this i don't know about relationships i mean

00:08:14.340 with the the fights and the not talking to each other yeah well it's kind of blowing up your really

00:08:18.200 yeah i mean not necessarily they're never going to talk again but just like they're they're at odds

00:08:23.320 and will not speak to each other about anything for a while that that's an amazing development to

00:08:29.900 me it's like you know this you can only you can't you're never going to change someone's mind like

00:08:36.280 that i talked about this with jim gaffigan this week on stew does america that guy is and i i look

00:08:40.800 i love gaffigan i love the guy i think he's hilarious i think he's a legend right i think he's great

00:08:45.980 comedian and and he's gone for years and years and years avoiding politics because

00:08:53.120 as that was a good idea right as he said it was a really good idea really good idea and what he

00:08:58.080 said was like i know no one wants to hear about politics for me i'm not changing any minds right

00:09:01.380 right which is true so one day he has this sort of like ah screw it i don't care anymore i gotta

00:09:06.880 say something oh blah blah blah blah blah this is too important blah blah blah blah blah right and

00:09:10.720 then he rants on social media so now he's pissed off about half of his fans a good chunk of them will

00:09:17.740 never go back to to listening to him again for any reason i'm not going to i mean i don't i can

00:09:22.680 i don't care honestly like every every comedian or actor or whatever sports celebrity i assume are

00:09:28.440 just mega insane liberals so i don't necessarily care i didn't assume that about jim gaffigan

00:09:33.260 i didn't assume that i kind of thought i mean if you listen to his if you listen closely to him i

00:09:37.380 think what he actually is is a midwestern democrat like i don't think he i don't think if this was

00:09:44.720 i don't know uh marco rubio running right now i don't think this happens i think he's one of

00:09:50.000 these people who's been broken by the trump era right not trump's fault but like these people

00:09:54.900 who are on the left cannot be rational around donald trump it's impossible for them it's impossible

00:09:59.940 for them and so this is what he is right now which is not only i i think it's interesting to note that

00:10:05.320 not only is it a waste for him and his career like it will i mean he's he's a big enough guy that he's

00:10:10.740 he'll probably be hurt by this but it's not going to destroy his career i don't think

00:10:13.940 um but what what i think on the other side of that is which is much more important for us

00:10:19.040 because jim gaffigan's got millions of dollars already he's going to be taken care of for a

00:10:23.360 very long time much more important for us is to realize how we felt as he was tweeting those things

00:10:29.900 did it move us toward joe biden no no moved us away from him the more important thing to

00:10:37.000 understand here is how ineffective this tactic is this tactic of just screaming and ranting and raving 1.00

00:10:43.160 like an insane person and saying to everyone who's on the other side hey idiots you're a bunch 1.00

00:10:49.200 of morons you know you're this guy's a thief a liar a scam artist whatever it doesn't work forget the 1.00

00:10:55.860 fact that it's dumb and it's wrong and all of the other things it's also just not effective 1.00

00:11:00.480 it's driven us closer to trump right it's made us less weary of the well he's not right here or boy 0.94

00:11:07.400 you know the hey boy he said that wrong it's like so yeah and like look when we're all around each other

00:11:12.320 you know vent all you want right but if you're actually trying to to convince someone which he

00:11:18.240 obviously obviously was yeah this is just not the way to do it it actually works against you

00:11:24.040 and the funny thing about uh uh gaffigan and you made this point pat is you didn't know what his

00:11:30.920 politics were right and he was a very effective communicator which is probably if he would have

00:11:36.520 utilized uh his own platform to talk about these things in a way that was still friendly he's

00:11:43.260 actually capable of doing it right right he is one of the few people who actually could probably

00:11:48.280 convince maybe he should have used this voice yeah maybe that would have been more effective huh

00:11:54.760 maybe i just i'm at that point now where it's like anyone i like who i know is a liberal 0.81

00:12:00.080 i've i've muted them in my brain until november 4th they're all insane right now they they are

00:12:06.120 incapable of having a normal conversation they are incapable of having a rational thought i i just

00:12:14.040 i'll mute them until november 4th and then check back in yeah i you know that's a good way to to do it

00:12:20.180 and think about it but then on the same uh the same hand you're looking forward to uh sports firing

00:12:27.600 back up or at least football firing back up and we saw that the way that's going to be in our face

00:12:33.160 with the nfl present with the nfl it will be really bad it's going to be ugly with the uh

00:12:38.420 it's going to be the first weekend of the nfl it's going to be ugly yeah ugly and you know okay i think

00:12:46.320 i'm just going to avoid the first weekend i don't know what's going to happen with with college football

00:12:50.080 i mean we're looking like we're going to have some kind of season whether it be abbreviated or not

00:12:54.440 but all the teams all the players are on board i don't know that they get away with it as much

00:13:00.460 uh as the nfl will but it's going to be it's going to be in in your face so how do you mute that

00:13:06.400 it's it's tough because you know we we always get on we always bust on glenn because glenn's first

00:13:12.300 response whenever an athlete does something annoying is to come at us and go oh what do you

00:13:18.500 not care about america yeah you go to every movie possible and here's glenn back who goes to

00:13:22.840 literally every movie that comes out with every hollywood celebrity and all they do is rant and

00:13:28.080 rave about politics and then in every movie is actually the point of the movie is how bad

00:13:33.540 conservatives are but he'll go to every one of them yep and i just you know his point is you know

00:13:39.220 like we as we point out that inconsistency usually what we do is we change the topic but what my my

00:13:44.900 point here is that like you really can't micromanage this you have to realize that not only in 0.82

00:13:49.160 entertainment every business you go into you're doing business with people who are insane liberals 0.96

00:13:54.660 yeah every restaurant you go to one of the cooks who's back there is an insane liberal who thinks 0.98

00:14:00.460 black lives matter uh should you know should take over the government and antifa is is number one in 1.00

00:14:06.020 their hearts and you don't you don't necessarily know it but it's happening literally everywhere you go

00:14:11.060 this is civilization this is capitalism really it's the point of you don't have to know and trust every

00:14:16.400 person you do business with that's the brilliance of capitalism you just you have currency you 0.92

00:14:21.240 exchange it with them everyone does their little job and you move on with your freaking life 0.60

00:14:24.360 and there's things that i really enjoy about that actually happened i know wouldn't it i enjoy sports 0.92

00:14:29.840 i'm not gonna let some dumb player who hasn't thought about any of these issues take it away from

00:14:35.560 me i'm not i'm not letting them make that decision for me i understand why a lot of people are like 0.75

00:14:39.900 that and i you know of course respect you you know if you're not getting enjoyment out of it

00:14:43.440 because it's so in your face and you leave but like for me i can just turn it off when they're

00:14:48.460 blabbing about this stuff i'll mute it i don't have to i don't have to listen to it i know these 0.99

00:14:52.320 issues this is what i do for work i don't need to hear it from some stupid player who's never looked 0.93

00:14:57.560 at an fbi crime report i just don't need it you know i like i'm sorry you know we have this thing 0.98

00:15:04.140 learn then protest in that order wow that's crazy learn then protest another one learn then vote

00:15:13.340 in that order that's funny that you say that because i started a campaign this week on chewing

00:15:18.080 the fat because they talked about uh people clicking on links that they get text to them

00:15:23.260 and then it's you know it impermeates your phone and you just everything blows it up and uh they're

00:15:29.080 saying you know don't click on those i i thought i started a campaign think before you link what do

00:15:34.820 you thought oh come on now yeah that's a campaign i can give it's not going to hurt your side

00:15:39.680 business of spyware no no okay so people aren't people are going to do it process again how do you

00:15:46.740 what do you do first i want everyone to listen this is really complicated learn learn then protest

00:15:54.000 and protest i don't protest and then learn no it's got to be this order learn really then vote

00:15:59.300 huh wow think before you link powerful it's powerful i know think about it think about it

00:16:07.940 think about it hi it's glenn if you're a subscriber to the podcast can you do us a favor and rate us

00:16:15.880 on itunes if you're not a subscriber become one today and listen on your own time you can subscribe

00:16:21.760 on itunes thanks this is the best of the glenn beck program

00:16:28.340 so we got some pretty good economic news how dare you pretty good you know no no i mean pretty bad

00:16:39.220 pretty bad pretty bad economic horrible news just terrible terrible news all news is terrible until

00:16:44.720 november 4th don't you know that i do know that that's that's the rule in the media that's the one

00:16:48.900 we have to hit and then it's still going to be terrible depending on who wins it depends on who

00:16:52.060 wins yes now it could still be terrible until january 20th ish that's what i love hearing that too we

00:16:58.880 might not know till inauguration day we might not even know then okay all this stuff all this stuff

00:17:06.520 has a political angle to it i love people were like you know trump's like uh the trump they're like

00:17:12.100 the trump administration has asked all states to be ready for the vaccine on november 1st

00:17:17.520 all right okay hey i love that it's funny because uh now the left is all anti-vaccine

00:17:24.420 then now all of a sudden everyone on the left has become anti-vaccine because donald trump is

00:17:28.880 working on a vaccine now he's not in the laboratories i don't know if they know that

00:17:32.800 he's he's helping to coordinate the efforts which have been pretty impressive on this

00:17:37.720 uh but it does not mean that he's going to be actually he's not going to be injecting you

00:17:42.140 uh if you're in the left right now don't worry about it don's not going to your house with a

00:17:45.660 needle okay okay so just that is a relief uh so the unemployment numbers are out and this is

00:17:50.140 it is really interesting tell me let me give you this premise first pat and you tell me if you think

00:17:55.460 this is a legitimate premise the election is coming in november that part i think you'd agree with

00:18:02.440 we lost a bunch of jobs because of the coronavirus situation and we're bouncing back now yes if donald trump

00:18:09.980 can bounce that back to the levels we were at before the coronavirus he's likely to be elected

00:18:15.620 i would think so right because that would be incredible that would be that would be incredible

00:18:19.600 if this was just a and again a lot of people have died i'm not minimizing uh the covet situation at all

00:18:25.700 but if if what we have here is a situation that we're hit out of nowhere with a global pandemic the

00:18:32.000 worst one we've seen in 100 years and our economy has bounced back to full levels or close to full

00:18:39.420 levels within you know eight months seven months that is a really good case for the president to

00:18:47.040 make like the president can say that is he will have a good argument to make to the american people

00:18:52.220 at that time and so we're seeing these numbers come in now and there is a bounce back will it get to

00:18:58.160 those levels i don't know let me give you a couple of uh uh numbers here pat let's go back to a year

00:19:04.740 ago this is the the unemployment rate every month 3.5 3.6 3.5 3.5 let me go into 2020 3.6 3.5 march

00:19:14.520 4.4 april 14.7 so 14.7 is a big jump a big jump 10 points in one month that was huge may drops it

00:19:24.560 from 14.7 to 13.3 and by the way keep in mind we thought it was going to keep going up yeah it might

00:19:29.080 hit 20 or 30 is what they were saying yeah i mean that for when 14.7 came out there were a lot of

00:19:35.420 calls of of north of 20 yeah the predictions yeah did not come to pass 14.7 in april instead it went

00:19:41.400 down right 13.3 in may 11.1 in june 10.2 in july and today's today's number came out just a few hours

00:19:50.900 ago 8.4 percent 8.4 percent now 8.4 percent that's high high we were just talking about 3.5

00:19:59.340 3.6 right but when was it 8.4 percent last this is fascinating and just trying to think 8.4 to me

00:20:06.860 still feels really high for an unemployment rate right but not after 14.7 not after 14.7 but it

00:20:13.500 still seems like okay we still got a ways to go high yeah well the last time we had an 8.4 percent

00:20:18.460 unemployment rate was actually 8.5 barack obama december 2011 what i thought was fascinating pat

00:20:24.540 is if you look at this exact we've had we had barack obama for two terms right yep and then we

00:20:30.800 have um uh donald trump and donald trump comes in and he's running for re-election so if we look at

00:20:35.900 the exact same time in barack obama's presidency we'd be a few months before his election in 2012

00:20:42.960 if you go back to the exact same month august 2012 as compared to august 2020 now remember no

00:20:51.500 coronavirus in august 2012 uh in august 2020 the unemployment rate is 8.4 percent in august 2012

00:20:59.100 it was 8.1 percent so he's running amazing right now it's almost identical unemployment rate as the

00:21:06.600 brilliant economy of barack obama that was praised universally talking about that should somebody

00:21:11.920 should be talking about and you know what next month he's going to be ahead probably because if

00:21:15.740 this continues to improve the next month uh september 2012 it was 7.8 same with october for barack obama

00:21:23.200 going into his election 7.8 well and you remember at its highest when it peaked and it was it was before

00:21:29.520 the election uh campaign i think it was in 2010 maybe 2011 somewhere in there yep and it was if i

00:21:36.300 remember correctly 9.8 percent yeah 9.9 in march and april of 2010 and what is what did he say about

00:21:43.420 that well at least it's not 13 or 14 right 15 percent yep it's not 15 percent and that was when

00:21:48.840 we came up with the whole metric of created and saved jobs remember that yes the created or saved

00:21:54.460 jobs metric which we were like wait a minute what is that metric oh you just invented that out of thin air

00:21:59.500 which they did which they did um so 8.4 percent now that's look we still that means we still have

00:22:04.820 ways to go but we are going in the right track let me give you the job loss numbers here um so this is

00:22:11.160 you know we we bounced around um uh flat here for a while so we had let me see i'm gonna look this up

00:22:20.740 real quick pull this up for you so this is um labor force participation rate give you this so we're at

00:22:28.540 um here we go sorry i'm there's i'm looking at a bunch of different stats here at the same time okay

00:22:35.280 here we go job losses and gains this is the easiest one for people to understand is this the one where

00:22:39.140 we were getting uh like two three hundred thousand yeah exactly so a month so you have uh this is people

00:22:45.800 going back to work uh getting jobs here we go so this is going back to september again of 2019

00:22:52.760 gained 208 000 jobs 185 000 jobs gained plus 261 plus 184 so times are really good we're doing

00:23:01.540 hundreds of thousands every month solid numbers yeah plus 214 plus 251 that's february 2020 then the

00:23:08.400 coronavirus thing kicks in we go minus 1.4 million okay now that number is massive minus 1.4 million

00:23:15.780 massive but there were forced closures everywhere exactly which is why april is a little uglier

00:23:22.180 than march so minus 1.4 million in march minus 20.8 million yeah that was a shock to the system

00:23:30.820 20.8 million 20 almost 21 million people in a month yeah so i mean that is that's rough

00:23:37.400 however that's a body blow right there to the economy then you go plus 2.7 million in may

00:23:43.760 so right after the 20 million lost the next month we gained we gained how many 2.7 million wow which

00:23:50.920 again 2.7 million would be there's this ridiculous thing both sides going back and forth where the

00:23:56.360 left is saying this is the worst year ever and the republicans are now starting to say this was the

00:24:01.380 best month ever yeah and it's like well both of those are ridiculous right like right we're bouncing

00:24:06.920 back and that's great uh but we had a lot of room to bounce back and the idea that you're gonna

00:24:12.400 point this is like oh this economy is crashing i can't believe donald trump i don't know if you've

00:24:16.600 noticed but there's a little thing we're dealing with right now called a pandemic it's kind of a

00:24:20.280 big deal uh so we go minus 20.8 million in april then plus 2.7 million jobs in may then plus 4.8

00:24:29.080 million in june wow then in july plus 1.7 million and in august plus 1.4 million that's the new number

00:24:37.920 so the job losses in march and april were 22.1 million the job gains since then have been 10.6

00:24:46.300 million we've gotten almost half basically about halfway there so far wow now the negative look at

00:24:51.640 that is to say it's slowing right we went 4.8 million 1.7 1.3 in the last three months so it is

00:24:58.720 the rate is slowing and if it doesn't pick up we are not going to get back to you know full by november

00:25:05.680 which is a ridiculous i mean that would be incredible to be honest i don't expect that

00:25:09.000 if you can if you can show real improvement in the economy yeah recovery that they're looking for

00:25:13.680 that would be it would be inarguable right if they could get back that would be nice to have an

00:25:18.420 inarguable point yes that would be nice i don't think we're going to get all the way there he's got

00:25:23.120 two more months trump's got two more months because remember we will not have november numbers by the

00:25:27.740 election obviously we'll still be in november um however i think i think we get october maybe we'll even

00:25:34.980 have october numbers he at least has one more month of september now i think they'll come out

00:25:38.740 that thursday right we'll have uh so that'll be tuesday it'll it will be after right because it's

00:25:43.680 the first tuesday november thursday yeah so we will not so he's got one more month here he could

00:25:47.620 probably tack on a couple million more and he will have the weekly reports that will that will have

00:25:53.860 come in uh before the election so he'll have an argument as to but probably what you're looking at

00:25:59.120 in if we're looking at this realistically he's probably donald trump is probably going to be

00:26:04.100 uh telling you the night before the election that he's brought back between 60 and 70 of these

00:26:10.380 jobs which is great really which is yeah look it's pretty impressive in a few months the problem is

00:26:15.860 some of the businesses that were forced into being shut down are not coming back and so neither are

00:26:22.100 those jobs no so you've lost already in new jersey you lost 30 of all restaurants geez and and they're

00:26:29.520 thinking that might go to 50 before before it's done and uh new york still isn't open for indoor

00:26:36.180 dining yet which is incredible you got all those restaurants struggling to make ends meet on 25 of

00:26:43.740 outdoor uh area being filled every day well that's not enough for these guys to make ends meet of course

00:26:51.620 not so that's why that's the problem and this is the thing i keep coming back to the problem a big

00:26:57.960 problem with this economic argument is that so much of it is in the hands of one of the worst people in

00:27:05.000 our society nancy pelosi yeah because we had obviously we all understand even even most libertarians

00:27:13.140 i've talked to about this understand and agree that when the government comes to you and says you need

00:27:18.180 to stay home for a couple months the government needs to step in and make that right it's almost

00:27:23.300 right it's closer to uh it's closer to a eminent domain situation than it is a bailout right it's

00:27:31.420 basically saying we're going to take this from you we're going to take two months of your work

00:27:34.160 here's your compensation when that's forced on you by the government then the government's

00:27:38.340 responsibility is to you to make that right almost everyone agrees that should be yes that should

00:27:44.220 happen for a short time not forever but for a time there should be some sort of uh some sort of

00:27:52.360 uh government exchange so that happened and it did protect obviously you know there's some there's some

00:28:00.000 ability to be able to just pay your way out of these problems for a short time so that's what we

00:28:04.320 did we spent we spent trillions of dollars to make it so it was only 20 million people who were losing

00:28:10.380 their jobs and not 70 right so that has happened it is also now expiring if you were on unemployment

00:28:17.680 you know this if you're one of those 20 million people you know this right where you lost your job

00:28:22.280 the unemployment they gave you the 600 a week bonus basically to cover the fact that they told you that

00:28:28.620 you had to lose your job and that has now run out if you were a small business they gave you money

00:28:36.180 to bridge the gap here that is now run out and not everybody got it and not everybody got it anyway

00:28:41.920 it was not well run anyway it was you know it was thrown together it's the government that's how

00:28:46.480 they do things what happens not well so now that's all expired the republicans and democrats both say

00:28:52.280 that it should continue obviously and now nancy pelosi isn't even i mean she's not even negotiating

00:28:59.540 about it because she knows she holds this in her hands and if you are one of these people who think

00:29:05.360 that nancy pelosi cares so much about people that she won't destroy the economy for a couple of

00:29:09.800 months to get donald trump out of office of course she would of course she would right like i i don't

00:29:13.240 even i i don't know that there's a hesitation in me that says that nancy pelosi would if she's going

00:29:17.860 to have a choice between potentially helping donald trump's election and hurting millions of people

00:29:24.460 i not every not every democrat i would say this about nancy pelosi i absolutely say it about

00:29:30.760 she would much more uh prefer she doesn't want the economy to come back not until the jobs to come 1.00

00:29:38.080 back she may you know right not until november at least right if they if they win she'll be happy to 0.99

00:29:42.400 try to bring them back but this is something where basically republicans are agreeing with democrats yeah

00:29:47.000 i know we got through trillions of dollars at this problem and so these numbers may get worse

00:29:53.100 because of what is happening with this government program again like we all realize this is not

00:29:58.400 sustainable we can't just pay our way out of this forever but to try to bridge this gap is important

00:30:06.260 and i you know look she doesn't want to do it because she knows it's going to help donald trump 1.00

00:30:12.660 so either one thing one or two things are going to happen she's either going to not uh further this 1.00

00:30:18.020 government program which is going to obviously hurt in the short term or she is going to extract such 1.00

00:30:24.900 severe penalties and ask for such crazy crap that may we may not want to sign it anyway yeah so it's

00:30:32.160 a tough spot for republicans right now you're listening to the best of the glenn beck program 0.97

00:30:38.280 so the antifa member uh 100 antifa who shot and killed the trump supporter uh the other day was himself

00:30:48.340 shot and killed last night when police caught up to him uh and uh apparently he went for the gun and

00:30:54.200 and i guess he was going to have a shootout with police and he was on the losing end of that so we

00:30:59.360 lost him we lost him uh but vice interviewed him obviously before that happened he had some

00:31:07.720 interesting things to say here's what he here's what he said you know lots of lawyers suggest that i

00:31:13.500 shouldn't even be saying anything but i feel it's important that the world at least gets a little

00:31:18.740 bit of what's really going on because there's been a lot of propaganda put out there i had no choice

00:31:26.240 i mean i i had a choice i could have sat there and watched them kill a friend of mine of color

00:31:31.220 what that wasn't going to do that that's not what was happening he had no choice who was he going to

00:31:37.760 kill they were just standing there on the street corner they as far as i know they were both unarmed

00:31:42.100 right yeah there's a some so earlier on in the day they were shooting paintballs you see this

00:31:48.780 footage where the trump guys were in the back of the truck and they were shooting paintballs at some

00:31:54.020 of the protesters and they were spraying i guess they were saying it was pepper spray out of the

00:31:58.240 back at some of the protesters it appears in one of the videos that the the person who was killed

00:32:04.700 may have sprayed a little pepper spray in the direction um that you don't die from that though that's

00:32:09.980 not no it doesn't that does not mean like is it just an excuse right he's trying yes trying to

00:32:16.320 say that he was innocent and was defending himself when clearly he was not clearly not it's just a

00:32:20.800 murder yes and this is what happens and you hear you hear uh his friend or compatriot say uh there's a

00:32:30.140 couple of them right here there's a couple right here and then almost immediately you hear the gunshots

00:32:36.080 yep and they kill him there's no excuse no justification for them just really uh uh amazing

00:32:45.100 and and and i will say this again because it's uh seemingly lost in the in the news coverage of

00:32:51.260 these events there are a lot of people who are saying well these trump supporters shouldn't have been

00:32:56.320 there kyle uh you know kyle uh rittenhouse shouldn't have been there and i think there are

00:33:02.280 certain arguments that i would agree with on that front but i will say this when we had charlottesville

00:33:08.660 what happened you had bad guy people uh who were out there bad bad uh groups of people on both sides

00:33:18.380 no don't you dare on both sides no all people were good on one side and all people are about on the

00:33:22.620 other um no you had one you know white supremacist obviously terrible out there protesting um and doing

00:33:29.440 their thing then you had anti-protesters antifa or some of them some of them were just regular

00:33:36.160 people who were there to say i don't want this in my town the bad guys who were there and and doing

00:33:43.440 their um their tiki torch jews or will not replace us thing one of them ran over one of the counter

00:33:51.240 protesters at no point did anyone say the counter protesters should not have been there

00:33:56.460 including on the right by the way that's no one ever said oh that cow those counter protesters

00:34:01.780 should not have showed up they should have been there nobody said that now with this both of these

00:34:07.500 situations in um in in the in the uh it was portland and kenosha right yes the two areas yeah the

00:34:15.880 portland one and the kenosha one no one's everyone's saying oh well those those counter protesters

00:34:20.360 should never have showed up they basically caused it they called it on themselves it's like well

00:34:25.120 no that's not the way this works you know this guy murdered a trump supporter for no reason

00:34:31.220 right and we were all supposed to say well it was his fault for showing up to be a counter protester

00:34:37.640 it's not what they said about charlottesville we can both we can all pretty much agree here that

00:34:42.440 people like this guy who murdered them were bad people they're rioting they're breaking windows

00:34:47.500 they're terrorizing these communities counter protesters show up and one of them gets killed

00:34:53.820 another one gets attacked and then has to fire back and what we're supposed to believe is it's

00:34:58.460 their fault for showing up as counter protesters it's totally different construct than last time

00:35:02.400 we just we just reverse those rules last time it wasn't the counter protesters fault for getting

00:35:06.940 run over by a car obviously it wasn't and the right agreed with that now when it happens the other

00:35:13.400 way around the left just changes all the rules and the media changes all of its rules it really is

00:35:18.260 frustrating it's really frustrating none of this is based on truth anymore pat it's just what's the

00:35:22.740 feel i don't know how what can we get away with today yeah it really is frustrating this whole

00:35:27.820 thing has been so bizarre and so frustrating from the very beginning another of those frustrating

00:35:33.680 situations is this poor owner of the minneapolis salon that rioters uh set on fire and burned

00:35:40.720 this woman's business was completely gutted completely burned um almost to the ground but it wasn't 1.00

00:35:47.580 uh absolutely burned uh absolutely burned to the ground so it was too dangerous the city said to

00:35:53.540 allow to stand so the city went in and tore it down the rest of the way and sent the bill to the owner

00:36:02.640 uh of the salon for two hundred thousand dollars this is this is not the only case of this either

00:36:10.660 it's happening to several business owners there i mean if that's not frustrating and makes

00:36:15.860 zero sense when the woman was in uh no way responsible for any of it in fact she just lost 0.97

00:36:23.220 her business because you didn't protect it from the city the city of minneapolis didn't protect it

00:36:27.800 from the looters yeah so she lost that to fire lost her livelihood and then on top of it when they

00:36:35.140 tear the building down they give her the bill for two hundred thousand dollars incredible and that's 0.98

00:36:39.400 not america no you know and one of these things i've seen a couple articles i know beckett adams

00:36:44.000 wrote about this uh in uh in washington examiner and uh there's been this case from the left which

00:36:53.760 has basically been hey it's just property right so yes we know they shouldn't be burning buildings

00:37:00.980 down but you know what it's not important it's not that's not important they'll get they have

00:37:04.080 insurance they'll get their stuff replaced yeah well apparently and like part of me said wait a

00:37:10.020 minute morally this is reprehensible what are you talking about you don't burn someone's building

00:37:14.580 down even at the very least if they got all their money back for the for the business from insurance

00:37:18.480 they'd still have months where they weren't selling their product months where they you know

00:37:22.820 had to lay people off all of these other complicating factors but in the back of my head

00:37:27.900 i thought to myself well at least at the end of this maybe they'll be made whole apparently not

00:37:33.360 apparently not quite the opposite yeah listen to some of this i thought this was really

00:37:37.360 interesting uh like dozens of other investors whose properties were severely damaged in the may

00:37:42.420 riots the kim family was stunned to discover that the money it would collect from its insurance company

00:37:47.080 for demolition won't come close to the actual cost of doing the job most policies limit reimbursement

00:37:53.820 to 25 to 50 000 but contractors have been submitting bids of 200 to 300 000 in many cases the price of the

00:38:01.900 work is not much lower than the value of the actual property records show um another one uh this is a

00:38:08.260 sports dome retail complex a different company than the one pat mentioned in saint paul um had uh the

00:38:15.220 the city hired a crew they came in because it was an unstable building they had to knock it down

00:38:21.020 and then presented a bill to the property owners for 140 000 to haul away the debris um this is happening

00:38:29.060 in place after place after place uh another company um said they got 125 000 bid uh but they only had

00:38:37.840 50 000 from their insurance you know big companies will have uh insurance that might cover them

00:38:48.080 like a mcdonald's or a wendy's might have insurance that's going to cover something like this a small

00:38:52.680 business doesn't a small business is going to wind up having their lives destroyed over something

00:38:58.860 like this and they will never be made whole many of them and this shouldn't matter but many of them

00:39:04.080 are immigrant owned and minority owned businesses who likely supported these rallies and riots uh at

00:39:12.480 other times and now are paying for it and none of this is fair even if they had political you know

00:39:20.020 beliefs that are insane like some people do it's still not fair they should not have their stuff torched for

00:39:26.500 no reason and i do think this is connecting not only to people in the communities but also people when it

00:39:31.640 comes to the general election they're looking at this and they're saying wait a minute one of these parties

00:39:34.980 is blatantly despite their recent denials blatantly on the side of the rioters

00:39:40.060 they i mean the vice presidential candidate of the united states

00:39:44.900 tried to raise money to get people who were accused of murder bailed out of jail

00:39:52.460 and successfully in some cases in minnesota yeah she was raising money to get these people

00:40:00.760 bailed out jeez that is incredible how unless you want a chaotic world unless you want you know

00:40:09.100 your life to be uh you know some some anti you know war-torn you know province of some african 0.94

00:40:20.380 disputed territory you know like where where you have whites and blacks fighting each other

00:40:26.580 and you have tribe after tribe going after each other and there's no stable government and no police

00:40:33.160 unless you want that world in your future how can you want this how can you sit there sit there and

00:40:41.220 embrace it whether you like donald trump or not it's hard to imagine a world in which you're like

00:40:46.880 cheering this on and and and and even you can tell the biden harris campaign has realized that this is 0.82

00:40:52.440 true and and now we're trying to back off of it but we're not idiots we were all here although we all

00:40:56.760 saw you doing it biden just said yesterday uh let me quote what he said i think what happened in

00:41:03.700 portland where one of the trump guys riding along in vans inciting responses shooting rubber bullets i guess

00:41:11.240 or paintballs he doesn't even know what the deal is right apparently there was someone shot by someone

00:41:16.980 in the crowd with a bullet and killed so here's biden blaming blaming the victim in this particular case

00:41:27.320 and and just minimizing uh the fact that the guy was killed by this screwball in antifa they just

00:41:37.700 will not condemn the things that antifa do still haven't said the name as far as i know no they

00:41:43.140 haven't you remember they went up to uh jerry nadler on the street and and he would he said it was a

00:41:48.220 myth antifa was a myth right it's not a myth to this guy who's dead i don't think i've seen a single

00:41:52.960 democrat condemn what they're doing or tell them to stop and that why is that hard i don't know i don't

00:41:59.080 know again like antifa these your constituents are these the people you're trying to please are there's

00:42:04.280 certainly energy on that side and maybe they're just trying not to piss off you know those groups

00:42:09.000 but i mean you know how often pat did they go after donald trump for not uh denouncing the alt-right

00:42:15.420 oh my white supremacist still do it and he and he did denounce those he did i don't know i think he

00:42:20.540 denounced the alt-right as well but he definitely denounced white supremacists i remember that uh

00:42:24.600 specifically yes multiple times over and over again it was never enough they don't have to do this one

00:42:30.460 time with antifa they don't have to do they don't have to say you know what black lives matter there's

00:42:34.580 a lot of good people who are who are right who are rallying and and and peacefully protesting and i

00:42:41.320 think they should be highlighted more in the news coverage but i will say there is a sliver of of this

00:42:46.400 group that is terrible and they're doing terrible things they don't even go that far because they

00:42:50.280 won't they'll say well we don't like violence but they won't say black lives matter is is involved in

00:42:55.020 it right they won't say antifa is involved in it they won't say that these groups are doing this all

00:42:59.140 the time in left-leaning cities all over america why this is not hard you know i you can be you're

00:43:05.820 not going to lose votes by saying antifa is too violent there's no like you lose the votes of the

00:43:11.820 antifa members i mean i most of them just want to overthrow the entire government and they're not

00:43:16.900 going to vote most of them most of them would be my guess
