00:00:00.000 holy cow uh the iranian senator yeah uh el saeed might be the iranian senator i give you some
00:00:11.120 news here that you may not have heard and americans have got to michiganers need to make a decision
00:00:17.960 do you hate donald trump so much that you're willing to put this guy in wait until you hear
00:00:23.480 the news. Also, it's 10-7, three years later, remembering the loss of what happened with Hamas
00:00:30.600 and Israel. And Annie Jacobson, she is in hot water with some people because they're saying
00:00:36.260 she's just trying to hype her book. She's trying to hype her book. I invited her on a few days ago
00:00:41.020 when I first found out that there might be an outbreak of a very dangerous bacteria in
00:00:47.680 Russia, I said, call Annie right away. Today, we got her on. It's exactly what she lays out
00:00:57.420 in her book, and it's a little terrifying. However, there is really good news. There is
00:01:01.640 no reason to panic on this. What she lays out is terrifying, but what she tells us in the end
00:01:09.000 is very good. Have information. Information is power, and that way you're not panicking when
00:01:15.080 everybody else is.
00:01:16.500 Annie Jacobson joins me on today's podcast.
00:01:27.440 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck program.
00:01:35.700 Okay.
00:01:36.420 So now here's something new on El Saeed.
00:01:39.100 I mean,
00:01:39.600 I just,
00:01:40.300 I just have this feeling and I could be wrong.
00:01:43.600 I'm,
00:01:43.980 I'm so,
00:01:44.640 you know,
00:01:45.080 The one thing I'm wrong most times about is politics.
00:01:48.780 I am not good at predicting politics.
00:01:52.720 So take it for what it's worth, which is very little.
00:01:55.900 But I have this feeling that America is waking up to the Marxists and the Islamists.
00:02:04.340 I think there is some divine providence in us seeing what's happening over in France
00:02:12.440 because that is the preview of what is coming here.
00:02:15.900 It's the dress rehearsal.
00:02:17.840 This week, here's the latest on El Saeed.
00:02:21.180 He has spent a lot of his time doing things he thinks nobody is going to see.
00:02:29.580 Thank goodness somebody is.
00:02:32.160 I'm going to give you a name.
00:02:34.200 Sorry, Muhammad Ali El Hayy, I think.
00:02:38.400 he runs the islamic house of wisdom in dearborn heights he came to michigan in 1992 and before
00:02:46.120 he came to michigan in 1992 uh he had a job in iran the ayatollah khomeini the man who
00:02:54.860 calls us the great satan who gave us that personally appointed this guy to run the
00:03:00.900 political ideological office of the iranian navy so he said his job this is what he said in 2017
00:03:09.160 was to take officers who had gone western and bring them back into the iranian philosophy of the
00:03:18.120 the shia 12ers okay not good i don't even know how this guy is in the country quite honestly
00:03:25.460 After 9-11, he said that Israel and the Mossad did it.
00:03:33.140 He says he helped build research unit for Khomeini's Martyrs Foundation.
00:03:39.320 The Martyrs Foundation?
00:03:41.280 Yeah, the same one.
00:03:42.380 Our Treasury Secretary sanctioned that foundation in 2007 for funding Hezbollah
00:03:47.940 and then paying stipends to the families of suicide bombers.
00:03:51.600 When the FBI raided the foundation's Dearborn affiliate, he complained about the FBI and defended Hezbollah as resistant.
00:04:00.900 This guy is not a good guy.
00:04:03.740 And we're talking now Iran.
00:04:06.460 He praised Hezbollah's spiritual guide as a great scholar.
00:04:10.620 That is the cleric American officials have long tied, by the way, to the 1983 Beirut bombing that killed, what was it, 241 Americans.
00:04:22.560 he has also met with the supreme leader on February 28th after an American airstrike
00:04:32.100 killed Ayatollah Khomeini he held a vigil and he said it was an honor for the Ayatollah to die
00:04:38.820 at the most wretched hands on earth those hands by the way were ours okay why am I telling you
00:04:45.860 about this guy first of all I'm shocked this guy is in the United States of America but there you
00:04:52.540 you go, freedom. On July 16th, this man gave Abdul El Saeed $500. What's the big deal? On June 24th,
00:05:03.540 El Saeed stood in that man's mosque and spoke beside him and embraced him while campaign staff
00:05:12.660 worked a table outside. El Saeed campaigned in that same mosque in 2018. The imam hosted a round
00:05:21.820 table of clergy for him. He showed up at the fundraiser hosted by a local activist who also
00:05:28.600 calls Hezbollah and Hamas freedom fighters. That fundraiser reportedly raised $350,000,
00:05:35.880 and it isn't just one imam. Another in Dearborn Heights told his congregation to vote for El
00:05:43.480 Said to deal the Zionists a blow. El Said headlined the grand opening of that man's mosque.
00:05:52.820 His own longtime imam in Ann Arbor calls Hamas leader, the Hamas leader, a heroic martyr.
00:06:02.880 Do you think Hamas is a heroic group?
00:06:08.500 Look at who El Saeed shows you.
00:06:12.120 You go to his website and Christian pastors are all over the website.
00:06:17.580 Oh, look at this Christian pastor.
00:06:19.400 This Christian pastor, he loves me.
00:06:21.820 But the Imams are nowhere.
00:06:25.440 In March, on a campaign call, he said he didn't want to comment on Khomeini's death because, quote, a lot of people in Dearborn are sad.
00:06:33.620 Yeah, we have more context to that.
00:06:35.600 Your friends were sad.
00:06:38.660 Your funders were sad.
00:06:40.620 Last week at the University of Michigan, hours after a fundraiser, with this Iranian imam, he was asked again to denounce the people who held vigils for Khomeini, and he wouldn't do it.
00:06:57.020 That's not a friendship.
00:06:59.100 This is a filing system.
00:07:01.840 One drawer for Dearborn, another drawer for the rest of Michigan.
00:07:06.460 And Michigan, you've got to wake up.
00:07:08.640 You have got to wake up.
00:07:10.620 Let me give you an example, and this is a true example, but I want you to picture 1942,
00:07:17.160 a Senate candidate in Michigan, and his friend is a donor, and his friend also is a guy who
00:07:27.880 Hitler himself appointed to keep the German Navy ideologically pure.
00:07:33.480 This man has met the Nazi leadership.
00:07:36.720 He blames the Jews for the worst attack on American soil.
00:07:39.700 He holds a candlelight service when one of those leaders is killed by an American bomb.
00:07:44.680 The candidate takes his money, hugs him in front of a crowd, and keeps him out of the brochure.
00:07:51.440 Now, do you think anyone in Detroit, anyone in Dearborn, anyone in Michigan, anyone in America
00:07:58.240 would have called a newspaper that reported that a smear?
00:08:05.020 No.
00:08:06.800 They would have called it disqualifying.
00:08:09.700 And Detroit would know because Detroit and Michigan has been in almost that exact spot before.
00:08:19.500 20 minutes up the road from Dearborn in Royal Oak, Michigan.
00:08:23.960 It's the 1930s.
00:08:25.900 There's a priest.
00:08:27.100 He's called Charles Coghlan.
00:08:29.000 He builds a church called the Shrine of the Little Flower.
00:08:32.720 He also builds a radio show that tens of millions of Americans hear every single Sunday.
00:08:39.200 this guy is a deep progressive and also a nazi sympathizer and he starts out on his radio show
00:08:47.740 at first as a the champion of the little guy but that's not where he ends okay 10 days after
00:08:54.060 kristallnacht with the synagogue still smoldering in germany he goes on the air and explains that
00:08:59.280 the nazis were only defending themselves against these communist jews
00:09:04.320 does that sound like anything the imam or el saeed might have said about hamas it's exact
00:09:13.820 so the reporters take his script and they lay it side by side from to a speech of joseph goebbels
00:09:23.040 he had given this speech over in germany goebbels had three years earlier and the passages all line
00:09:29.820 up. A Michigan man reading Goebbels to America on the radio from a pulpit. Then Pearl Harbor
00:09:39.660 and his magazine keeps printing the enemy's line. So it's spring of 1942. Post office pulls his
00:09:47.500 mailing permit. The Justice Department weighs sedition charges, but they don't do that. It
00:09:53.440 wasn't a courtroom that silenced him. Washington went quietly to the Archbishop of Detroit and the
00:10:00.240 Archbishop, his own shepherd, told from his own faith, said to Father Coughlin, stop it or lose
00:10:08.040 your pulpit. Stop it right now. He stopped. Now, he wasn't deported or anything else. He spent 24
00:10:16.360 more years as a parish priest and he never broadcast politics ever again. The Catholics of
00:10:22.800 Detroit didn't wait to be accused. Nobody cried bigotry when somebody noticed this guy is a Nazi.
00:10:32.780 It was their own leader that stood up and said, not in our name, but the Catholics are not the
00:10:39.420 Islamists in Dearborn. So don't expect the Islamists to do it. So who's supposed to stand up?
00:10:46.240 because this is the standard and it's the same one for everybody a candidate in dearborn visits
00:10:53.000 mosques in a way a candidate in grand rapids visit churches nobody vets every 500 check
00:10:59.860 muslim americans deserve a voice in the senate the first one should not be held to a standard
00:11:05.020 nobody else has to meet all true all true for a man who shook the wrong hand at a picnic
00:11:11.900 But this is eight years. This is two campaigns. This is a stage. This is a mosque. This is an embrace. This is a roundtable. This is a big fundraiser and a decision to intentionally keep it all out of sight for you.
00:11:29.100 that standard isn't hard
00:11:32.280 because Khomeini was no martyr
00:11:35.500 the Ayatollah Khomeini
00:11:37.900 the original one
00:11:39.940 he was not a good guy
00:11:42.080 El Saeed he's got lots of friends
00:11:45.380 who worked for him
00:11:47.200 and celebrate him
00:11:51.200 and celebrate that we are the great Satan
00:11:54.920 it's really not hard to say you know hezbollah murdered hamas murdered uh no sorry it was
00:12:07.020 hezbollah murdered 241 americans in beirut and that was iran we are at war with iran
00:12:15.460 and this guy is palling around with a guy who is working for the ayatollah to help bring
00:12:22.840 the Iranian Navy
00:12:25.920 back into the fold
00:12:28.200 of the Twelver ideology.
00:12:31.820 I got to tell you, Michigan,
00:12:34.360 you better stand up and say,
00:12:35.920 not in my name.
00:12:39.280 What will it take
00:12:40.740 for you to wake up?
00:12:42.840 Michigan, you already did it once before
00:12:44.680 when you had a Nazi
00:12:45.940 in the pulpit.
00:12:47.900 You had a Nazi in the Christian
00:12:50.320 and Catholic faith
00:12:51.500 and you stood up and said, no, will you do it now?
00:12:57.280 Or are you too afraid to be called a bigot?
00:13:04.020 Or worse yet, do you have Trump derangement syndrome
00:13:09.400 so deeply into your bones that you can no longer see the truth?
00:13:17.480 More in a minute.
00:13:21.500 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck program.
00:13:40.160 The numbers don't quite work anymore, do they?
00:13:42.740 I mean, you fill up the gas tank, you buy groceries, you go to a show, and then somehow or another, the normal parts of life just start costing a bundle.
00:13:48.620 And so you put things on credit card.
00:13:49.980 You tell yourself you're going to catch up, and the next month arrives, and you still can't make it work because next month has its handout.
00:13:54.760 That's how people get trapped.
00:13:56.140 If you're a homeowner, maybe you've looked at American Financing before, but you stopped short because you fought so hard to get that low mortgage rate, and you don't want to throw it away just to deal with credit card debt.
00:14:04.100 I get it.
00:14:04.600 That is exactly why American Financing created the Smart Equity Loan.
00:14:08.480 It gives you a way to use your home's equity to pay off high interest debt without giving up your existing low mortgage rate.
00:14:14.020 Unlike a HELOC where the rate can move around with the market, the smart equity loan comes with a fixed rate and one predictable monthly payment.
00:14:21.520 There are no upfront fees. Find out if you qualify. Just 800-906-2440. That's it. Call them. 800-906-2440 or visit AmericanFinancing.net.
00:14:30.880 NMLS 1-82334. NMLSConsumerAccess.org. Average savings based on borrowers who save up for $199.99.
00:14:40.240 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck Program.
00:14:44.020 You know, I'm just, I'm perplexed at those who deny that any of this stuff happened,
00:15:07.900 because that's what they're saying now, that none of this stuff happened.
00:15:10.780 We didn't do that.
00:15:11.540 We didn't slaughter these.
00:15:12.760 You filmed it.
00:15:13.860 Even the Nazis knew they had to keep this to themselves and hide it from the world.
00:15:18.680 But you posted it live on social media.
00:15:23.600 Now, let me ask you this.
00:15:24.840 For anybody who says America is bad, we're the great Satan.
00:15:35.980 Would you be for American soldiers doing this, even if we were so righteous?
00:15:41.440 Even if, 9-11.
00:15:43.860 We go over and we rape and slaughter and our soldiers do that.
00:15:49.540 Would you, before that, set families on fire?
00:15:54.500 What would you say about us?
00:15:56.800 What would you say what kind of country we are or what kind of country we would be building,
00:16:02.100 what our future would be if our soldiers did that and we all celebrated and then denied?
00:16:08.100 so why do you support
00:16:13.740 Hamas doing that
00:16:15.820 I don't understand how you
00:16:17.480 you are celebrating
00:16:18.980 you tear America down
00:16:20.660 and say we're this awful country
00:16:22.940 our soldiers
00:16:23.580 if they've ever done anything like that
00:16:26.120 they went to prison
00:16:28.100 if they ever did that
00:16:33.860 I certainly would not support it
00:16:36.380 And I would speak out loudly against anybody who was celebrating it.
00:16:43.640 I don't understand.
00:16:45.380 Let me take some mail from the email on this.
00:16:49.920 Glenn, two of our adult sons, a U.S. Marine Corps vet and a local firefighter and their friend,
00:16:54.660 plan to blacklist all U.S. political representatives and candidates who accept AIPAC funds,
00:16:59.880 claiming Israel is committing war crimes.
00:17:02.560 Both sons are very strong Christians and conservatives.
00:17:04.760 Can you help?
00:17:06.380 Yes, I can, I think. First of all, don't fight them. You raised good men who run towards danger and still ask moral questions. So honor that. Don't give them a speech. Ask them questions.
00:17:22.020 First, is there a concern with just AIPAC, or are you also boycotting anyone who takes anything from, like, the National Iranian American Council?
00:17:34.200 The National Iranian American Council also doesn't have to register as a foreign agent according to U.S. law, and there are several of these.
00:17:42.900 So are you banning all of those, or is it just the Jewish one?
00:17:47.160 Can you tell me what specific act the war crime was?
00:17:52.940 Who verified it?
00:17:55.540 Ask them, what would you have done on October 8th
00:17:59.160 if our town had just been burned and 1,200 people were killed
00:18:03.720 and the enemy was hiding under hospitals?
00:18:07.560 Let's just say Canada did that to us.
00:18:10.660 What would you have done?
00:18:14.740 Certainly, I hope not war crimes.
00:18:17.160 but they were hiding under hospitals.
00:18:20.580 Is there any other country that your sons hold to this standard?
00:18:27.480 Criticizing the Israeli government is absolutely fair game.
00:18:31.820 A litmus test that singles out one nation,
00:18:35.680 and it's the only Jewish one, that's where the trap is.
00:18:40.400 The road to hating Jews rarely starts with hate.
00:18:44.360 It starts with a good man who thinks he's standing for adjustment.
00:18:47.160 justice. Warn them about the road that they're on. Because this one is really pretty clear.
00:18:54.120 Glenn, I'm shocked by so much hate for Israel from otherwise good people. What are the facts?
00:18:58.660 What is Israel doing right and wrong? What is fake and what is real? This is easy. Let me give
00:19:02.740 you a list. I made a list here. Hamas started this war on October 7th with the worst massacre
00:19:08.060 of Jews since the Holocaust. That's real. Hamas deliberately hides under hospitals, in hospitals,
00:19:13.820 in schools, under schools, and tunnels under homes. Because of that, the suffering in Gaza
00:19:20.900 is also real. Tens of thousands are dead, and much of it is rubble. I've been there. I've seen it.
00:19:28.080 What is Israel doing right? Israel is a democracy with free courts, a free press that investigate
00:19:33.800 their own military. It warns civilians before strikes in ways no enemy has ever done. Nobody
00:19:41.360 in the history of world has warned civilians as much as Israel before strikes. What have they
00:19:47.300 done wrong or at least fairly questioned? Some of their strikes, periods of restricted aid,
00:19:53.980 although how many nations are expected to send aid to the people there actively? I mean, we never
00:19:58.340 did that in World War II. We did after the war, not during the war. Hardly a universal standard,
00:20:03.520 but you can question it at least. And renegade violence in the West Bank. Very bad. Very bad.
00:20:11.060 What's fake?
00:20:12.560 Staged or recycled images that's everywhere.
00:20:15.740 Casualty figures from Hamas-run ministry that don't separate the civilians from the fighters.
00:20:22.220 And the test for your friends is this.
00:20:25.700 Again, do you apply the same standard to the Sudan and Syria and China?
00:20:32.260 Or is the only nation that gets scrutiny us and Israel?
00:20:36.800 Why?
00:20:37.400 uh glenn i'm a longtime supporter of you in my discussions i try to rebuke attacks on
00:20:44.380 your background yesterday you spoke about how you have been made out to be a liar and an anti-semite
00:20:49.620 this is so ridiculous please make a channel of truth so i can debate here i don't want you to
00:20:54.840 debate me i i should not be the argument here um and you know there's too much stuff that
00:20:59.780 people are it's not worth debating it's just not you know if you do defend me with my record
00:21:05.260 include my mistakes. You know, in 2014, I got a lot of heat from a lot of people in the audience
00:21:11.100 because I said I had made a lot of mistakes. I had honestly soul searched everything that I had said
00:21:16.220 from, you know, 2000 up until 2014. And I said, you know, I did play a role, unbeknownst to me,
00:21:24.480 not my intention, but I did play a role in dividing our country. And I regret that.
00:21:30.220 and I was sorry about it.
00:21:34.320 Does anybody recognize that?
00:21:36.920 In 2010, I did a series on George Soros,
00:21:40.020 do criticism from the ADL.
00:21:42.680 Fair to debate,
00:21:44.200 but show them what came after.
00:21:46.920 In 2011, I held Restoring Courage,
00:21:49.800 a rally in Jerusalem.
00:21:51.140 You know who protested that?
00:21:52.340 Not Jews, the left.
00:21:55.380 Through Mercury One and the Nazarene Fund,
00:21:57.660 We have rescued thousands of persecuted Christians and Yazidis, anyone who is being persecuted for their faith.
00:22:07.060 Instead of Christians being beheaded and set on fire in cages, they are free and alive today because of you and this program.
00:22:16.460 I've stood with the Jewish people for decades.
00:22:18.840 It's never been the popular position.
00:22:21.100 But an anti-Semite doesn't really spend his life doing that.
00:22:24.960 A man who owns his mistakes is hard to call a liar.
00:22:30.520 You can call me mistaken because I am a lot.
00:22:33.940 But don't defend me unless you also point out my mistakes.
00:22:40.500 Glenn, I hear people, including you, say criticizing Israel's government or its policies is an anti-Semitism.
00:22:46.420 My question is, what exactly needs to be criticized?
00:22:49.000 They've been extremely restrained considering what Hamas did.
00:22:51.500 What are they doing wrong?
00:22:52.760 Fair challenge here.
00:22:53.980 Israel has shown remarkable restraint.
00:22:56.880 I mean, I don't think we would have done it.
00:22:58.480 If Mexico or Canada would have done that to us and was constantly doing it and saying still today, we're going to kill you, we're going to kill all of you.
00:23:05.400 I mean, we wouldn't put up with it.
00:23:07.400 But that doesn't mean, restraint doesn't mean no mistakes.
00:23:10.740 Israel admitted its fault when it killed seven world central kitchen aid workers in 2024.
00:23:16.380 Israeli leaders have questioned and condemned acts of violence by settlers in the West Bank, as I just pointed out.
00:23:22.300 You know, but Israelis fight fiercely over their own government from court reforms to, I mean, they, you think we fight about our government?
00:23:30.900 You know, nobody criticizes the Israeli government as much as the Israelis do.
00:23:35.960 That's what a free country looks like.
00:23:38.660 Glenn, how do we unconditionally back the Jewish state when there are countless examples of how they will stab us in the back, just as Muslims will stab the young communist when the time comes?
00:23:49.700 Trump has walked us into a war with Iran based on Israel.
00:23:54.860 Okay, first of all, unconditional support.
00:23:57.980 There's only one unconditional support that I have,
00:24:00.880 one unconditional relationship that I have,
00:24:03.400 and that is a covenant with God, okay?
00:24:07.240 They have one ally, which is unconditional,
00:24:12.600 and that's between Israel and God.
00:24:14.580 We have one between us and God.
00:24:16.900 American Israel have very conditional relationships
00:24:19.760 based on shared heritage,
00:24:22.780 mutual strategic benefit,
00:24:25.180 shared enemies who want us both to die.
00:24:27.900 Yeah, are we in a war and Israel's in a war?
00:24:29.820 Yeah, because we're called the great Satan,
00:24:31.580 they're called the baby Satan.
00:24:32.900 They're going to kill all the Jews
00:24:34.120 and then they're going to come and do that to us.
00:24:36.020 I mean, that's not hard, yes.
00:24:38.740 But no nation should be backed unconditionally.
00:24:42.000 I don't, I absolutely will not
00:24:45.840 ever say they get a blank check.
00:24:48.760 Alliances are built on
00:24:50.040 shared interests. That's it.
00:24:51.940 Shared values. And Israel
00:24:54.040 shares more values and
00:24:55.840 interests than anyone else
00:24:57.900 in the Middle East. You don't
00:25:00.080 hear all the people saying, we're buddy-buddy
00:25:01.960 with Saudi Arabia, and God help us
00:25:04.040 Qatar. You don't see
00:25:05.940 people marching about that.
00:25:07.820 They don't have hardly any of our
00:25:09.980 interests or values.
00:25:11.880 And yet, nobody has a problem with that.
00:25:14.020 As for Iran,
00:25:14.900 you know you didn't need us to be talked into it by israel and that's an insult to donald trump
00:25:20.740 i mean if you think donald trump tell me the one time you think donald trump's been pushed around
00:25:24.720 by benjamin and yahoo that's the only time come on here's our complaint 1979 hostages
00:25:34.620 240 41 marines killed in beirut in 1983 hundreds of american troops killed by iranian supplied
00:25:42.000 bombs in Iraq. All the IEDs, all of those come from Iran. A regime that chants death to America,
00:25:52.320 death to America for 40 or 50 years and are building a nuclear weapon and say they will use
00:25:58.840 it. I don't think we needed to be convinced by anybody. We have been at war officially since
00:26:04.860 February 28th. Pause in June didn't hold. We struck again September 1st. Whether this war
00:26:11.580 is wise, absolutely we can debate that. How it ends? I don't know. Patriots on both sides say
00:26:17.960 it's absolutely wrong. It's absolutely right. I don't know. I don't know how it ends.
00:26:23.520 I think it's justified. I personally think it's the right thing to do because they will use a
00:26:28.800 nuclear weapon. But there's a lot of times, I mean, how many times have we heard people have
00:26:34.180 weapons of mass destruction or whatever else, you know, whatever. But these people are in a special
00:26:38.960 sick, sick, twisted, religious, zealot, kill everybody in the name of Allah kind of cult.
00:26:47.540 And that changes them in my book.
00:26:55.740 We have 9-11, they have October 7th.
00:27:01.780 That's the same evil, exactly the same evil.
00:27:05.080 They didn't give a second thought to, we thought, if you didn't live through it,
00:27:08.960 But we thought as many as 50,000 Americans could have been in those buildings.
00:27:14.860 It was just by luck that they struck us about 15 minutes too early.
00:27:21.960 We thought the death toll that day would be 50,000.
00:27:28.220 You think they thought there were only 2,000 in there?
00:27:31.980 You think they would have stopped?
00:27:33.580 Well, we got to go early.
00:27:34.880 We want to make sure we're only getting the janitorial staff.
00:27:38.960 No, no, it's exactly the same evil, exactly the same evil.
00:27:46.060 And never underestimate how much your enemy hates you.
00:27:52.380 But I think this is all, in the end, all of this is about God.
00:27:55.760 You know, you can say this is about oil, this is about Israel.
00:27:58.920 No, it's not, it's about God.
00:28:00.980 Their God versus our God.
00:28:03.600 Marxists join it because our God is the God of the individual.
00:28:07.440 Our God is the only God of the individual.
00:28:11.540 He does not deal with the collective.
00:28:13.100 He did not come for collective salvation.
00:28:15.840 You do it.
00:28:16.960 You have to accept him.
00:28:18.560 You have to change your life.
00:28:20.500 You're the only one in charge.
00:28:22.540 You control your own attitude, no matter what's happening to you.
00:28:26.780 Our God will allow you to be in a concentration camp and sing.
00:28:33.060 Now, I don't know how these Christians did it,
00:28:35.780 But there is pastor after pastor after pastor, Christian after Christian.
00:28:40.260 I don't know how Corrie ten Boom did it.
00:28:44.060 But they did it because of that God, the God of the individual.
00:28:51.040 That's what it is.
00:28:54.400 Marxists can't have it.
00:28:56.600 And that God is diametric.
00:28:58.000 I'm sorry, but we are not the same God.
00:29:00.080 Allah is not the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
00:29:03.240 ask them
00:29:05.260 that's why we have the same enemy
00:29:10.360 and that's why
00:29:12.820 even on a day like today
00:29:14.380 we have such hope
00:29:15.300 because I know
00:29:16.940 I know
00:29:19.900 I know how it
00:29:22.580 I know how it ends
00:29:23.500 I actually know whose God is
00:29:26.260 the real God
00:29:30.280 i i know which one and and no god that preaches hate is god that's an anti-god
00:29:40.380 every god every god that preaches hate has nothing to do with the god of abraham isaac and jacob
00:29:48.320 by the way there's more on the front page of glenbeck.com what happens if america turns
00:29:53.180 against israel it's by pastor bill cloud everyone in the audience should read it it's at glenbeck.com
00:29:59.220 right now. This is the best of the Glenn Beck program. You know, there's a certain kind of
00:30:09.300 confidence that only parents have. You walk into a bedroom, you take one look at your kid and go,
00:30:13.460 yeah, he's getting sick. You don't need a thermometer. You don't need a doctor. You just
00:30:16.920 know, right? Unfortunately, knowing they're about to get sick is the easy part. The hard part
00:30:22.340 is discovering that half the town has the same bug. The pharmacy is out of the medication they
00:30:27.540 need and now you're driving all over town hoping somebody has it in stock that's why i advise you
00:30:33.340 prepare before the first cough starts the kids case from jace medical provides physician prescribed
00:30:39.520 emergency medications and antibiotics designed specifically for your children and you can also
00:30:44.580 include essentials like albuterol uh epipens zyrtec so when a school germ makes their annual
00:30:51.440 appearance you're not scrambling to find out you know what your family needs you already have it
00:30:55.620 And having it when you need it, when the time comes, gives you true peace of mind.
00:31:00.180 Go to Jace.com, use the promo code BECCA, check out, get a discount on your order.
00:31:03.700 It's promo code BECCA, J-A-S-E.com, Jace.com.
00:31:09.940 This is the best of the Glenn Beck Program.
00:31:16.060 And yes, I am with Annie Jacobson.
00:31:17.780 Hello, Annie.
00:31:19.600 Hi, Glenn.
00:31:20.360 Good morning.
00:31:22.980 So I'm so glad.
00:31:24.140 Thank you.
00:31:24.500 I know your schedule is busy, and I know you've pushed a lot of stuff around
00:31:28.400 to be able to come on the program today, and I appreciate it.
00:31:32.360 I am being set.
00:31:33.840 My comment, I think, was on Monday.
00:31:36.340 Is that when we found out?
00:31:37.120 Yeah, Monday.
00:31:38.160 I said, oh, good, lab leak.
00:31:40.180 Looks like Andy Jacobson's book.
00:31:42.540 But I don't know anything about it.
00:31:45.520 They say it's under control.
00:31:47.220 Let's not panic.
00:31:49.100 If you get antibiotics quickly, it can be taken care of with antibiotics.
00:31:53.520 Let's just play this out.
00:31:54.560 The White House is watching.
00:31:56.000 By saying that, people are saying, and maybe because I've had you on the show, that I am firing people up about this.
00:32:04.700 I'm really not concerned about this virus and what's happening.
00:32:09.940 But I would like to know what you know and when should we become concerned?
00:32:17.820 What should we be looking for?
00:32:21.420 Yes, okay.
00:32:23.080 So, if you just start with the basic facts of this story. Last Friday, I learned that there was a lab accident at a BSL-3, that's a biosafety level 3, that's a high containment facility in Siberia, and that a lab worker had died of pneumonic plague.
00:32:44.100 That's the story that was reported by local reporters on the ground there in Siberia.
00:32:49.900 Very quickly thereafter, we learned that five hospitals were quarantined, that the leading public health official in Russia went to the area, and most importantly, that the FSB was involved in the quarantine.
00:33:07.720 FSB is the Federal Security Service inside Russia.
00:33:11.980 these guys are armed they do not mess around quarantine is not kgb yes yeah and so the
00:33:20.060 response is so huge that's why they're all the eyeballs on it now we can certainly talk about
00:33:27.080 my analysis of the whole situation okay so we know that all of that happened and here's the
00:33:33.820 problem i don't trust russia but i also don't trust the health administration you know i don't
00:33:38.220 trust the cdc or because we've been through this and um i don't want hype i don't want i just
00:33:44.500 i just want to know what the truth is so you verified all of those facts so we know it happened
00:33:51.260 how many people have died so far we know two is that right well at this point glenn we don't know
00:34:00.180 the information and that's the truth and i've been in contact with sort of very senior people
00:34:05.540 at the State Department, at Fort Detrick, at Los Alamos. And so everybody has eyes on in this
00:34:13.500 situation. And that's what I think is most interesting about what I report in my book
00:34:18.480 in a hypothetical scenario, and what is actually happening now. Because also in the playbook of
00:34:25.060 any of this kind of a situation is the fact that the Russian Federation is going to immediately
00:34:30.740 not tell the truth, which is a polite way of saying start lying. And so you simply cannot
00:34:37.320 take them at their word. Biological weapons are illegal. Biological warfare is illegal.
00:34:43.880 The State Department, this administration, and the ones previous know or rather assert
00:34:50.620 that Russia has an illegal biological weapons program. It is only one of two nations that the
00:34:58.000 State Department will assert as such. So it's North Korea and Russia, illegal biological
00:35:04.020 weapons program. Iran and China, interestingly, are listed in State Department as having a program
00:35:10.780 of concern, which is, of course, a euphemism for probably almost certainly has a biological
00:35:16.340 weapons program. Right, right, right. That is where we are. That's what I can really talk
00:35:22.200 about with authority what people make of all of this whether they want to panic or belittle it or
00:35:28.960 that that that is actually not really that important to me nor is it important if anyone
00:35:36.080 says like she's just trying to sell her books i mean first of all you can get my books out of the
00:35:40.960 library but yeah i mean of course i want people to read my book why would a person write a book
00:35:48.200 if they didn't want people to read it.
00:35:50.220 So I believe-
00:35:51.220 Yeah, and your books,
00:35:51.700 and all of your books are to set records straight.
00:35:55.220 I mean, I go back to your books
00:35:56.140 on Operation Paperclip and everything else,
00:35:57.960 but the last two have been books of warning.
00:36:01.720 Warning, these things are very dangerous.
00:36:04.700 If you see these things, be on high alert.
00:36:08.900 So we should be.
00:36:09.900 Now the White House says they're monitoring this.
00:36:13.780 Are they?
00:36:14.640 I mean, do you have confidence
00:36:16.360 that we are doing all that we are supposed to do to monitor and are we ready at all if something is
00:36:24.400 bad? Okay, so in this situation, there's a couple important distinctions I think that'll be
00:36:30.580 valuable. And the reason why I mentioned about you can panic is that I fundamentally believe,
00:36:36.700 I think like you do too, hence your show, is information is powerful. And if you have the
00:36:42.760 information, you don't need to panic because you can make a decision, a more educated decision
00:36:49.100 about what is going on. So you asked about monitoring. So the intelligence community
00:36:54.440 does the monitoring. Those are the satellite, the organizations like NRO, NSA, NGA. They most
00:37:02.920 certainly have eyes on this situation and are looking from above. They want to see what the
00:37:08.420 quarantine perimeter is. They want to see if the village has draconian measures, not just the
00:37:15.520 hospitals. Then there's the State Department, who yesterday sent a demarche to Russia. And what
00:37:24.100 that means is a very strongly worded letter to their Russian counterparts saying, tell us the
00:37:31.760 information. And then there's not really a please, there's kind of like, we demand that. Now, whether
00:37:37.920 or not that happens, who knows? In my experience, that has to do with the relationship, the one-on-one
00:37:45.340 relationships with diplomats. That's why diplomacy is so important, Glenn.
00:37:51.280 So what would help us? Release of the autopsy records? Because aren't they even denying that
00:37:59.620 this is mnemonic? Of course they are. And look, okay, let me just say something about mnemonic
00:38:05.120 plague. And yes, that is the pathogen in my scenario. Why? Because that is one of the top
00:38:11.160 tier, if not the top tier select one agent that subject matter experts fear most could be used in
00:38:18.880 a biological weapons catastrophe. Now, you can't just, excuse me, you have to actually engineer
00:38:25.480 the pathogen to be more virulent, to be more transmissible, and to probably defeat medical
00:38:31.820 countermeasures that is almost certainly from the subject matters i have spoken to what is going on
00:38:38.160 in that anti-plague institute there in irkuts we know so wait wait wait wait wait wait wait so are
00:38:45.280 you saying this isn't just the mnemonic plague or you that if it came out of this lab it's probably
00:38:51.880 not just the mnemonic plague but it might uh been weaponized to make it more because it's really
00:39:00.080 explain what it is yes well and by the way that is a singular reason why all eyes in washington
00:39:07.540 are on it you don't have eyes on washington if someone's bitten by a flea-born prairie dog
00:39:13.840 or a martin in siberia that is a local outbreak and everybody knows that the problem here is that
00:39:21.400 the institute from where this accident occurred is a, historically was doing biological
00:39:30.300 weapon hearing. And we know that from Soviet defector scientists. Granted, that was 40 years
00:39:36.420 ago. However, if you read the State Department threat assessment, as I have done, you see that
00:39:42.940 it says that it is believed that the illegal biological weapons program of the Cold War
00:39:49.700 has been absorbed into the current program,
00:39:53.640 which indicates that these same facilities that were working then continue to work now.
00:40:01.540 So what does this do?
00:40:04.360 What it does is I think the positive thing here is it has a lot of eyes.
00:40:08.380 The whole world is very interested in this.
00:40:10.120 No, no, no, no.
00:40:10.480 What does, tell me about the pneumonic plague.
00:40:15.320 What does it do?
00:40:17.400 yeah so bubonic plague you have to start with that flea bite the pathogen it's the same pathogen
00:40:24.120 pneumonic or bubonic why yersinia pestis bubonic the flea bites you it goes into your lymph system
00:40:30.320 you get these giant bulbous necrotic you know very painful buboes hence bubonic then it would
00:40:38.560 progress if it moves into the lungs to become pneumonic hence pneumonia okay that's what happens
00:40:47.360 in the wild a case of primary pneumonic plague is very rare you basically have to have an animal
00:40:55.560 cough on you because it's droplet transmission i'm not kidding okay no i know i know no there
00:41:03.300 There was actually one case, and I write about this in the book as like a case study, in Colorado 10 years ago of a man who actually got pneumonic plague from his dog coughing in his face.
00:41:18.740 Okay, so it does happen.
00:41:20.320 That's not why the entire military intelligence community has eyes on, because it indicates that there were experiments going on in that lab with aerosolized versions of Yersinia pestis.
00:41:33.320 The story that this person dropped a test tube and, you know, it flew up in her face is apocryphal, meaning that is fantasy.
00:41:45.000 Workers who work with pneumonic plague wear protective equipment that is either the PAPR suit or the space suit.
00:41:54.400 If you are working with aerosolized pneumonic plague, you're in a space suit.
00:41:58.640 Period.
00:41:59.280 End of story.
00:41:59.840 and so her dropping or what whoever dropping a vial of this thing you don't believe at all
00:42:06.140 what i imagine happened and again this is imagining is this woman is dying she's in a
00:42:12.320 local hospital she knows she's not supposed to talk about the work that she's doing in the lab
00:42:17.500 she's dying she knows she's dying she understands yersinia pestis she's written papers on it she is
00:42:24.120 a junior scientist whether or not she was even the index patient is an entirely different story
00:42:30.900 but either way imagine a deathbed confession or a deathbed reveal that is what i am guessing
00:42:37.980 happened and that lines up with how it was kind of reported initially
00:42:41.880 all right hang on let me break for one minute i'm going to come back with annie jacobson uh
00:42:48.900 We're talking about the situation in Siberia and whether or not we should worry about it.
00:42:56.000 And at this point, I think you should just be aware of it.
00:43:00.240 And there's no reason to don't borrow trouble from tomorrow.
00:43:04.880 If trouble's coming, we'll deal with it tomorrow.
00:43:07.320 Just be aware of it.
00:43:08.820 So, Annie, we only have a couple of minutes left here.
00:43:11.500 How long does it take to incubate?
00:43:14.380 How long does it take before you notice it and then you get sick?
00:43:18.900 And then you're dead.
00:43:20.940 I'm trying to know how long before we know, okay, it's contained.
00:43:24.820 A couple important facts about pneumonic plague.
00:43:28.800 It's an absolute killer.
00:43:31.120 If you get pneumonic plague and you don't take antibiotics within 24 hours, not 25 hours.
00:43:38.000 What kind of antibiotics?
00:43:39.580 A whole array of them.
00:43:40.880 What kind of antibiotics?
00:43:41.200 Cycling, ciproflaxin, they're all listed on the CDC.
00:43:44.460 Okay.
00:43:44.920 But this is a 100% killer.
00:43:47.700 covid was less than one percent you get pneumonic plague you don't have antibiotics you die
00:43:52.920 boom end of story now if you're a worker and you're working with pneumonic plague
00:43:58.280 you know that and you are going to take antibiotics immediately that drops the death
00:44:03.600 rate down to about 17 percent okay so we're dealing with a major killer this is why people
00:44:10.380 are so terrified of it we also know that in the soviet era the uh scientists there the
00:44:16.180 Weaponeers, we're working to make it antibiotic resistant. That is kind of page one bioweapons
00:44:22.120 work, which is what the fundamental fear is out of the intelligence community,
00:44:26.520 which is what I write in my book. So is there a reason to panic? Well, what you need to do
00:44:31.900 is know the information. It is completely naive and probably downright wrong to say
00:44:37.460 the Russians wouldn't do such a horrible thing. And that is why everyone is worried about that.
00:44:42.640 Yeah, that's not wrong. That's just hysterical if you don't believe that. So, Annie, is there anything we should be looking for as, uh-oh, this is progressing? Or is there a time that we go, okay, we're past this?
00:44:58.080 well the good news is that we are kind of passing it meaning you asked me about the
00:45:05.060 incubation period it's very quick it's one to three days it's a fulminant disease meaning it
00:45:10.100 strikes quickly and it kills like lightning so every day that passes and there hasn't been a
00:45:14.940 report of some kind of horrific pneumonic plague in paris we are out of the woods so to speak now
00:45:22.120 what the FSB actually did to shut that down, that is what I would guess the intelligence
00:45:28.180 community wants to know most. Because as I write in my book, you have to mitigate the threat within
00:45:34.700 24 to 48 hours. Russia knows that. We know that. What Russia did to shut that down is absolutely
00:45:43.760 the most interesting thing to me, because that is what I'm guessing they did. And that is actually
00:45:49.080 great for the rest of the world, separate from the fact that they're doing illegal biological
00:45:53.600 weapons engineering, if they are. But that's great for the rest of the world, but it's terrible for
00:45:58.380 those 200 people in quarantine, what happened to them. Annie, as always, great to talk to you.
00:46:04.900 Thank you so much. Can you make your next book a little less scary? Just a little bit.
00:46:11.740 Sunshine. You're not going to do it, are you? Annie, thanks a lot. I appreciate it. God bless
00:46:16.660 you a biological war a scenario um you know i'm seeing online people saying you know this is all
00:46:23.500 hype this is all hype i'm not trying to hype it i i just don't believe that a lack of information
00:46:29.860 or dismissing or rolling your eyes is something that could be this serious is wise you know you
00:46:36.160 should know the information so you're you're able to calm other people down you know what she said
00:46:42.220 there at the end you're sitting with somebody they're like have you heard what's going on in
00:46:45.200 russia i mean we could all die you know it looks like we're passing that we're still a few days
00:46:49.680 away but it looks like we're passing that point you know maybe you have some antibiotics on hand
00:46:53.940 have you gone to the cdc um you know that way you're not panicking that's what information
00:46:59.520 does for you um and you know people who are hyping this and trying to get you all freaked out about it
00:47:06.620 okay that's a different category than the one i think i'm in i'm just saying here's what's
00:47:12.600 happening. Here's what we know. Here's what we don't know. Be informed and go and live your life.
