00:00:00.000 Today's the show. You really want to hear the whole show. We talked about Father's Day and I
00:00:05.240 tell you an amazing story about Ronald Reagan and his daughter, Patty, that you probably haven't
00:00:10.960 heard. If you had kind of a quiet Father's Day, you might want to listen to this because there
00:00:15.640 is hope with a broken family and you can get that on the full podcast. But here on the shortened
00:00:20.820 version, what happened in America 250 years ago? Everybody knows about the Declaration of
00:00:26.060 independence well actually we did play some only fans uh girls that have no idea i mean
00:00:34.500 wow is it frightening i hope it's just the only fans girls that think that abraham lincoln was
00:00:40.700 our first actually they didn't even say abraham lincoln at first it was the guy with the big hat
00:00:44.940 the tall hat that was our first president but anyway what happened 250 years ago it's a great
00:00:51.660 story about this week in history. Also, data Republican on the data centers and what's
00:00:57.460 actually happening there. There is a big movement that is supposed to have July 18th. They're
00:01:02.420 supposed to have a big rally all around the country, and they say it's a conservative movement.
00:01:06.700 Not so fast. Make sure you know who you're standing next to. And I spoke to Bishop Kai. He is
00:01:14.040 the Bishop Anglican Church in England. There's only six of these guys that are willing to stand up.
00:01:21.660 He has probably the most sobering message for Americans I've ever heard.
00:01:26.900 All this and more on today's podcast.
00:01:37.860 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck program.
00:01:46.320 Next week, I'm in Washington, D.C.

00:01:59.620 those uh happening in washington dc for the 250th anniversary uh next saturday uh america 250 comes
00:02:06.960 to life preserving the past educating the future i'm doing something in my small town community
00:02:12.160 here up in uh in idaho we're raising money to uh restore an old schoolhouse from the 1800s and
00:02:19.920 and to also uh build out the current public library uh and tanya and i have been helping
00:02:26.380 out and i wanted to volunteer my time as well so i'm doing i'm bringing some of my rare historic
00:02:31.920 artifacts telling really compelling stories that help shape the nation um we have two afternoon
00:02:38.120 shows, a special dinner on show
00:02:40.080 on Saturday night. You can reserve your seats
00:02:42.120 now at
00:02:43.780 oneidastakeacademy.org
00:02:45.900 slash events. We'll post that up at
00:02:47.840 glennbeck.com or for the insiders in case you want
00:02:50.100 to come. And I want to talk
00:02:52.100 to you. I'm going to bring this. I'm going to talk to
00:02:54.040 you. This is next week. I'm doing a whole thing
00:02:55.960 on the show about this
00:02:58.040 document. This is the first draft of
00:03:00.080 the Declaration of Independence in Thomas
00:03:02.080 Jefferson's own hand. And
00:03:04.020 it is a remarkable document. And
00:03:06.040 the story behind it is incredible.
00:03:08.120 And the reason why we have to learn it is I want to play this.
00:03:11.520 Now, these are girls from OnlyFans.
00:03:15.360 So, you know, the sharpest knife in the drawer
00:03:19.260 is not something that I would say we're dealing with here.
00:03:22.460 But I think this is not just them.
00:03:26.220 I think this is, well, you listen.
00:03:29.520 Listen to this.
00:03:33.080 What country did the United States gain its independence from?
00:03:36.780 Europe.
00:03:38.120 I can't.
00:03:40.700 Who was the first president of the USA?
00:03:44.360 Oh, oh, uh, uh, he had a top hat.
00:03:49.180 Yeah.
00:03:51.660 What's his name?
00:03:52.740 What's his name?
00:03:53.820 Abraham Lincoln.
00:03:54.780 Okay.
00:03:55.080 What do you think?
00:03:55.880 Yeah.
00:03:56.600 Lincoln.
00:03:57.600 I think it's Lincoln, too.
00:03:59.280 They're going to have the top hat.
00:04:00.800 Lincoln.
00:04:01.460 What country is the Great Wall of China in?
00:04:05.920 Tokyo.
00:04:06.980 What language did the people in Idaho speak?
00:04:10.180 Someone blurted out.
00:04:11.420 Idahoian.
00:04:12.440 How many years are in a decade, Gemma? 0.94
00:04:15.780 Twelve.
00:04:16.800 How many are in a century?
00:04:19.020 Five hundred.
00:04:20.100 What is the closest star to Earth?
00:04:24.900 Okay, relax, Fido. 0.98
00:04:26.840 What the f***? 0.97
00:04:28.680 The North Star. 0.98
00:04:29.960 The sun.
00:04:31.080 Oh, the sun.
00:04:31.820 No.
00:04:32.820 The Lone Star.
00:04:33.860 What country is the Panama Canal in?
00:04:36.940 Yeah, Portugal.
00:04:40.280 Okay, so they've got to be incredibly hot, right?
00:04:45.420 I mean, that's what you're thinking.
00:04:46.340 They've got to be incredibly hot because how do they make it out of their house?
00:04:52.260 But I personally, Ricky, I would like you to get a hold of them.
00:04:56.100 I would like to give them, I honestly, I would love to give them a free pass to Torch and
00:05:04.900 see if we can educate them.
00:05:06.400 I mean, it would be a great, it would be a great thing to, you know, six months from
00:05:10.080 now, be able to ask those questions and have them know those answers.
00:05:13.500 So can you see if you can get ahold of them for me?
00:05:15.820 Oh yeah.
00:05:16.040 It would be a great thing and a great challenge after hearing that.
00:05:20.940 I think you'd be done though.
00:05:22.060 But I think they can do it.
00:05:23.180 I think they can do it.
00:05:24.420 I really do.
00:05:25.180 It's not that hard.
00:05:26.920 You know, look, all of us celebrate 4th of July.
00:05:30.560 Everybody does.
00:05:31.500 But nobody knows what's happening, you know, happening the days before the 4th of July.
00:05:38.920 You know, the week of June 17th, this is when this country was being born in two cities
00:05:46.180 at the same time and on two completely different tracks.
00:05:49.560 And those two tracks slam together on one morning.
00:05:53.620 and that morning is a week from Monday, okay?
00:05:56.760 This week is really important.
00:05:58.460 Let me tell you a story they didn't teach you.
00:06:01.360 Picture Philadelphia, mid-June, 1776.
00:06:05.240 Abraham Lincoln is not born yet. 0.87
00:06:07.740 There's a 33-year-old redheaded Virginian. 0.97
00:06:11.260 He's holed up in a couple of rented rooms
00:06:13.520 at the house of a bricklayer named Jacob Graff.
00:06:17.300 And this redhead, his name is Thomas Jefferson.
00:06:20.860 few days earlier june 11th congress had handed five men a job and those five men had quietly
00:06:27.600 handed it to him uh write down write down why we're doing this write down what we believe
00:06:33.540 and so he sits there and he's writing this document day after day little folding writing
00:06:38.960 box that he had designed himself and he's scratching out and crossing things out and
00:06:43.100 reaching for words big enough to hold a new kind of nation we hold these truths to be self-evident
00:06:50.460 He's not carving it in marble.
00:06:52.180 He is a young man sweating over a draft, second-guessing himself on every word,
00:06:56.480 getting edits back from Adams and Franklin in the margins.
00:07:02.020 The most important sentence in the history of self-government is being workshopped
00:07:06.660 in a rented room over a bricklayer shop in Philadelphia, and it is boiling hot.
00:07:12.060 Now, hold that picture.
00:07:13.940 Travel 90 miles north to New York, because while Jefferson is writing,
00:07:17.840 this week what kind of men we could be George Washington is discovering the kind of men that
00:07:25.440 we already have among us the British fleet are coming everybody in New York can feel it it's
00:07:32.020 the largest invasion force Britain had ever sent across an ocean and it was about to appear in the
00:07:37.540 harbor in the middle of that because we're already at war most people don't know this we're already
00:07:42.740 at war. Washington's people uncover something that would have ended the entire experiment before
00:07:49.620 it even had a name. Declaration hasn't even been written yet. There was a plot, a real one.
00:07:55.140 Loyalists and money flowing from the Royal Governor William Tyron, who was hiding out on
00:08:03.660 a ship because he's out in the harbor because he couldn't safely set foot on land, and the sitting
00:08:10.320 mayor of new york city david matthews he's accused of bankrolling this whole thing this plan what
00:08:16.980 they're what are they doing they are quietly buying off continental soldiers paying them to
00:08:21.380 switch sides the moment the british land okay so you're wearing a blue uniform the minute the
00:08:30.220 british land they're to turn their guns around and blow the powder magazines seize the bridge
00:08:35.800 at the north end of Manhattan,
00:08:37.720 so Washington's whole army is trapped
00:08:39.880 on that island like fish in a barrel.
00:08:42.780 One of the men in the plot isn't just any soldier.
00:08:45.440 His name was Thomas Hickey.
00:08:47.560 It's a name you should know, but we don't know.
00:08:50.260 He's Irish, he's a former British deserter,
00:08:52.840 and hand-picked for Washington's lifeguard. 0.68
00:08:56.440 That's like the Secret Service,
00:08:57.820 the elite handful of men whose entire job
00:09:00.100 is to stand closest to the commander-chief
00:09:02.500 and keep him alive, called lifeguards.
00:09:05.800 The enemy wasn't at the gate. The enemy was already inside the tent, close enough to touch the man who the whole revolution depended on.
00:09:13.520 How did they catch this?
00:09:15.820 It was almost by accident.
00:09:18.680 Hickey gets himself thrown in jail for passing counterfeit money, and he couldn't keep his mouth shut.
00:09:24.620 He bragged to another prisoner about the conspiracy, about the soldiers that he had paid off that were getting ready to defect.
00:09:31.760 well that prisoner talked and it landed in front of a secret committee tasked with sniffing out
00:09:39.000 exactly this kind of treason committee led by the new york a young new yorker named john jay
00:09:45.820 yes that john jay the future author of the federalist papers future chief justice of the
00:09:52.160 united states historians have called this little operation that he put together the first american
00:09:57.840 Intelligence Agency. So America's counterintelligence service, born in a backroom
00:10:05.500 June 1776, because we discovered in the very first month as an idea that some of us would
00:10:13.580 sell the rest of us out. So the plan, we're not sure. Was it to kidnap Washington, kill him,
00:10:21.640 sabotage the army? Historians are still arguing about it. The mayor himself later claimed he only 0.77
00:10:27.100 meant to kidnap george washington and his guard not to murder him and there is an old legend and
00:10:33.200 i want you to find this one yourself i mean hopefully it is it's my goal over the next year
00:10:38.680 to give you some things that i say on the air that hopefully you go i gotta check that out what
00:10:43.740 so let me just give you this there's a story check it out for yourself about a dish of poisoned peas
00:10:49.980 and a housekeeper who supposedly warned the general in time don't eat the peas probably a
00:10:56.760 tavern myth some of these things but it's worth looking up here's what's not a myth what's in the
00:11:03.380 court court martial record in black and white member of george washington's own secret service
00:11:09.020 the lifeguard stood trial for treason in the same days that thomas jefferson was holed up in a room
00:11:16.580 writing this we think that this is what started the war no the war was already on and there was
00:11:23.680 there were people already trying to kill George Washington.
00:11:27.760 Now watch these two tracks come together.
00:11:30.300 June 26th, Thomas Hickey is convicted of mutiny and sedition.
00:11:35.960 June 27th, Washington signs off on the sentence.
00:11:40.560 And the morning of June 28th, that's next Monday, 1776, 11 o'clock,
00:11:46.540 They march Hickey into a field, and they hang him in front of a crowd of 20,000 people.
00:11:54.440 This is the first soldier this country ever executed for treason.
00:11:59.340 Before we were a country, we hadn't even, Thomas Jefferson is standing up that morning in Independence Hall with this document and saying, okay, go ahead and read this out loud, okay?
00:12:13.740 before we had declared independence, we had already buried a traitor from inside the General's
00:12:19.720 Olden Guard that same day, the same June 28th. Down in Philadelphia, Congress, Jefferson's
00:12:26.780 committee walks in, lays a draft of the Declaration of Independence down on the table to be read for
00:12:31.060 the first time. I'm going to tell you the story of this. It was killing Thomas Jefferson, killing
00:12:38.420 him he didn't say a word during the reading he didn't read it himself he couldn't he didn't look
00:12:44.380 at anybody he kept his head down wait until i tell you the story it's an amazing story but
00:12:49.540 one single morning in one young nation that didn't legally even exist yet in one city the words of
00:12:58.540 who we wanted to become were first being read into the record and another city just up the road
00:13:05.240 a man was being hung by a rope for trying to strangle that nation in its cradle.
00:13:11.700 The promise and the betrayal in the same hour, 90 miles apart.
00:13:16.920 Four days later, July 2nd, Congress votes for independence,
00:13:21.180 and the British fleet sails into New York Harbor.
00:13:24.300 The ink isn't even dry, and the enemy is already in the water.
00:13:29.420 So here's why I can't stop thinking about this week,
00:13:33.020 and what I want to bring to you this week.
00:13:35.240 It would have been so easy in that moment of terror, invasion coming, traitors in the ranks, the mayor himself in on it, for Washington to become the very thing that they were fighting.
00:13:49.920 I mean, this is what everybody says Donald Trump is doing, but you have absolutely, in fact, not no evidence.
00:13:58.700 You have the opposite in evidence.
00:14:01.440 Everybody says, he's just trying to just round up everybody who betrayed him.
00:14:05.240 Really? Because I'm not really sure about what happened in Butler.
00:14:10.560 I'm not sure about that.
00:14:12.540 I'm not sure that that guy is going to be deemed guilty.
00:14:16.900 If he had to stand trial, are you positive he would have gone to jail for the rest of his life?
00:14:23.400 I mean, here's the future president of the United States in both cases.
00:14:28.780 Neither of them are saying round everybody up and kill them.
00:14:32.420 they didn't settle it with a sword in the dark
00:14:36.320 fear gives men permission to do almost anything
00:14:41.640 back in 1776 they didn't they convened a committee they gathered testimony they held a trial in the
00:14:50.380 middle of the most dangerous month of their life with a knife already at the republic's throat
00:14:55.420 they chose process over panic law over vengeance and in the same breath in the same week
00:15:01.820 they put their names down on this document that said power has to answer to something higher than
00:15:07.880 its own power that's who we are that's who we were that's who we can be every day going forward
00:15:14.920 not because we're surrounded by saints we weren't Hickey proved that but because even when we're
00:15:21.160 betrayed from the inside we reached for the rule of law instead of the rope without trial
00:15:27.740 the founding wasn't clean it was a young man rewriting sentences in a rented room
00:15:34.440 while his country's own bodyguards were being bought off down the road and it held anyway
00:15:40.500 so this year before the fireworks will you do me a favor i want you to look up
00:15:47.220 the poison peas i want you to look up thomas hickey
00:15:50.480 i want you to look up john jay's secret committee look up what really happened
00:16:00.480 in new york harbor in the last days of june 1776 pull the thread pull the thread because the story
00:16:08.140 they gave you that ends on july 4th with a clean signature and a bell that's not the real story
00:16:16.500 the real story, the one that will keep you up at night and have you texting your friends at
00:16:20.400 midnight saying, you're not going to believe what I just read. The real story begins this week
00:16:25.440 when we were almost lost before we ever began and we chose the right path. 0.97
00:16:34.860 That's the country worth keeping. Go find the rest of it. More in a minute.
00:16:46.500 This is the best of the Glenn Beck Program.
00:16:57.820 So a few days ago, a reporter at Axios wrote that a new group called Humans First
00:17:05.100 was leading a conservative Tea Party-style pushback against AI data centers.
00:17:10.520 um i want i want you to listen to this this uh story there is legitimate reason to be upset about
00:17:20.220 what's going on with data centers there's also legitimate reason to be for data centers this is
00:17:26.720 something that we need to have an honest and very difficult conversation about but i want to make
00:17:34.640 sure that you know i i opened the show today i gave you five stories that are in the show prep
00:17:39.960 If you get my show prep at glenbeck.com, you sign up for it.
00:17:43.700 We give you a bunch of stories every day that I look at every day.
00:17:47.400 That's my show prep pile.
00:17:49.060 And I try to look at stories and see a connection.
00:17:53.540 Is there something we're supposed to learn from today's news stories?
00:17:57.980 Because news isn't just news, and it's not just politics.
00:18:03.180 It is trying – our mistakes, our problems are trying to teach us something.
00:18:08.020 And if they keep happening over and over and over again, they're not going to change.
00:18:12.700 As long as we keep making those same mistakes, the news will continue to reflect our mistakes.
00:18:19.160 So what is it the news is trying to tell us?
00:18:21.880 And today, I found five stories that all connect to tell us you're being manipulated and be very careful.
00:18:31.220 Now, that doesn't mean the underlying thing is not true.
00:18:34.760 It just means you're being used.
00:18:38.020 I told you over the last few weeks, I'm trying to get this concept that you have to be able to hold two truths in two different hands.
00:18:46.180 One thing can be true.
00:18:48.120 Data centers, if you believe data centers, they shouldn't be built, blah, blah, blah.
00:18:52.600 That can be true.
00:18:54.460 You can make a case for that.
00:18:56.000 The other thing that I'm going to tell you today is you're being manipulated.
00:19:01.400 Both of those things can be true.
00:19:05.260 So hold those two things there.
00:19:08.020 Data centers are good, data centers are bad, and the other truth, you're being used.
00:19:14.480 So let me tell you about humans first.
00:19:17.880 This comes from a data Republican.
00:19:20.600 The group's chair is Amy Kremer.
00:19:22.720 She is well-known from the early days of the Tea Party.
00:19:27.060 And they announced a big protest for July 18th.
00:19:31.720 and they framed it as regular americans finally standing up to big tech elites that are you know
00:19:38.160 finally uh shoving these giant facilities into communities without enough say and they're going
00:19:43.860 to say enough is enough finally enough is enough okay and the way this story is written it sounds
00:19:49.060 like classic grassroots conservatism then data republican uh on x started looking into it and
00:19:57.680 she didn't guess, she didn't rant, she just pulled public records. That's what data Republican does. 1.00
00:20:03.440 She goes to website data, the funding filings, the staff histories, all of that. And what she found
00:20:09.740 is that Humans First, not started by conservatives meeting in living rooms. It was actually incubated
00:20:17.240 and helped getting started with money and structure by an organization called the Center
00:20:23.320 for AI Testing, I think it is, AI Safety, based in San Francisco, you know, where all the
00:20:30.840 conservatives hang out. That group gave Human First its early funding and used the same office
00:20:38.620 address. The Center for AI Safety gets big money from Duskin Moskovitz. He is the Facebook co-founder
00:20:46.420 through his foundation, it also received millions from Sam Bankman Freed FTX before that company
00:20:54.120 collapsed. Not, again, known as a big conservative foundation. OpenAI, one of the leading AI
00:21:02.560 companies, also gave it hundreds of thousands of dollars as well. Now, why would OpenAI be
00:21:07.980 involved? Why would Facebook be involved in this? An earlier NBC report described the center
00:21:13.700 creating Humans First as a kind of Trojan horse.
00:21:17.760 That's not from Data Republican, that's NBC.
00:21:20.660 A way to take concerns about AI safety
00:21:22.720 and make them sound like they're coming from conservatives.
00:21:27.020 The early staff of Humans First included people
00:21:30.320 with clear progressive backgrounds.
00:21:33.560 She had, one of them had worked with the Sunrise Movement.
00:21:36.940 That is a far left climate activist group.
00:21:40.180 Another one, member of the Democratic Socialist of America.
00:21:44.460 You know, I mean, it almost sounds like Barry Goldwater is going to show up next, right?
00:21:49.300 That person had helped run campaigns against Trump, worked for Tom Steyer's political operation, organized for Kamala Harris.
00:21:59.220 Their website was also using a digital platform commonly used by left-leaning nonprofits and democratic causes.
00:22:05.800 in short axios had presented this conservative uh grassroots effort as conservative but the
00:22:14.280 actual origins the money and the people running it uh don't look very conservative now amy uh amy
00:22:22.460 kremer uh has pushed back or her family has pushed back on parts of this story saying the
00:22:27.680 old accusations about her leaving one of the original tea party groups were part of a much
00:22:32.280 uglier litigious fight it includes you know false personal attacks blah blah blah and that a jury
00:22:39.340 sided with them on some of their claims that history is complicated and it's fair to note that
00:22:45.160 okay um but the honest bottom line on the facts this particular national organization is not what
00:22:53.560 it is being sold as it has the look of a conservative protest but the structure the funding
00:22:59.260 the personnel, something built on the other side of the political aisle with help from big tech
00:23:06.440 money. Now, let's go back to those two truths. That doesn't mean that every person who has
00:23:16.340 concerned about data centers is part of some conspiracy or a useful idiot. It doesn't mean 0.97
00:23:22.660 even the people that are all involved in that are, you know, lefties. These facilities are
00:23:31.800 enormous, and they use huge amounts of electricity and water. At least that is the charge.
00:23:40.640 There are ways around those things, but in some areas, they're getting fast-tracked with special
00:23:47.200 deals and eminent domain and non-disclosure agreements that keep the local taxpayer and
00:23:52.680 the residents in the dark about the impact on their power and their wells and their farmland
00:23:57.220 or their quality of life. And that's got to stop. I am with you. If you don't want data centers
00:24:03.120 because they're being fast-tracked in the middle of the night, I am 100% on your side.
00:24:09.940 If you don't want them because you just don't want AI data centers, I'm not on your side.
00:24:15.280 but this fast track everyone there are people that have moved um into you know farmland and
00:24:23.880 moved out in the middle of nowhere for a reason i don't want any of that crap why are the why are
00:24:30.780 they not going into our our inner cities where there are giant empty factories in a large portion 0.93
00:24:39.000 of this country these giant buildings that are sitting there rotting mow them down and build
00:24:44.600 them there. Plenty of regular Americans, including conservatives, believe in local control and
00:24:51.940 property rights and not letting distant corporations or government bureaucrats steamroll
00:24:57.840 us in our own communities. And we have every right to ask hard questions and demand transparency.
00:25:03.900 Those are legitimate small government concerns, and I stand with you.
00:25:09.200 so what does all of this mean well there is a lot of money from left-leaning foundations
00:25:16.440 certain silicon valley circles and yes foreign interests that would love america to see
00:25:22.640 for us to lose the ai race they want us to slow down or block the power generation and the data 0.94
00:25:30.400 center construction that we need to be able to win this race if we don't we are going to lose it to 1.00
00:25:37.280 China. The fastest way to keep America from leading in artificial intelligence is to make
00:25:42.560 sure we cannot build the infrastructure that powers it. That again, two truths, does not mean
00:25:49.260 everyone who opposes a data center in their backyard is secretly working for the Chinese. 0.83
00:25:54.960 Good people who vote the way I do have real practical reasons to be skeptical. 0.96
00:26:01.240 they have seen these projects ram through without little public local input if any
00:26:11.100 they're worried about the cost being passed on to regular families they don't want their
00:26:15.940 communities turned into an industrial zone overnight but here is the key to this whole
00:26:22.800 thing this is what i want you to take away from this data and again thank you data republican
00:26:27.540 for doing this hard work.
00:26:30.420 Here's what I want you to take away from this.
00:26:34.820 I have been railing on the ends don't justify the means.
00:26:38.900 And I've got some amazing stories in the next couple of weeks
00:26:41.780 that are going to teach that lesson.
00:26:43.600 And, you know, there's just a few lessons that I think
00:26:46.360 if we can learn these lessons, we can heal ourselves.
00:26:51.980 One of them is ends never justify the means.
00:26:55.660 the next one is the enemy of your enemy is not your friend or at least not automatically your
00:27:05.460 friend if you're against certain data center projects for honest local reasons please be
00:27:12.180 very careful who you align with at the national level and whose money and organizing is behind
00:27:18.500 the bigger movement. Because if you want to win, why is Facebook, why is OpenAI, why are they
00:27:28.160 backdoor funding some of this stuff? What? That doesn't make any sense. And the minute
00:27:36.080 you stand with these people, if they are discredited, which I think you're starting
00:27:41.440 to see here, if they're discredited, then your whole movement is discredited. So as somebody who
00:27:48.000 is for data centers but wants transparency and i want certain rules you could be dead set against
00:27:55.020 data centers let me give you this piece of advice you can't stand with people who are claiming to
00:28:01.780 be something they're not because when that is found out your movement will be discredited
00:28:07.600 the people who built and funded this conservative protest group they don't share your goals i don't
00:28:16.320 know what their goals are. But why are they hiding? They are not fighting for abundant
00:28:24.680 American energy, which we must have. I'm not sure they're fighting for communities to have a real
00:28:30.720 stay or for the United States to stay the strongest, most innovative country on earth.
00:28:36.300 Some of them want delay. Some of them, I imagine if they're on the left,
00:28:40.640 want America to not be the leader in the world.
00:28:45.040 Some want control.
00:28:46.720 Some don't want America to win.
00:28:48.400 I don't know.
00:28:51.100 This whole fight is bigger than any data center, however.
00:28:55.040 This is what the data center argument really is about.
00:28:58.520 One, do you have control of your local community?
00:29:02.840 Are you still in control?
00:29:04.620 Or the people that you've hired at the local community
00:29:07.560 just willing to do deals behind your back
00:29:11.680 because they think they know better than you.
00:29:14.900 They don't know better than you.
00:29:17.140 All of these things, especially this level,
00:29:20.580 must be brought full sunshine in front of everyone.
00:29:26.160 But beyond that, the question on data centers and electricity,
00:29:31.280 are we still a nation of builders?
00:29:33.500 people who will say okay we got to do this we'll figure the power out we have to lead
00:29:40.640 in that technology to shape the next center a century and we'll do it on our terms and we'll
00:29:46.060 do it openly are we still a nation of builders or is that part of the american character fading away
00:29:54.920 president trump was at the g7 last week and put america clearly in the driver's seat on ai i mean
00:30:02.520 you want to talk about America first. What he did, the rest of the West has a choice. You look to the
00:30:07.900 United States or you look to China. That's the real stake. That's what he put out in the G7.
00:30:12.760 I mean, he worked a deal with the G7 that if I got to tell you, if I were France, I'd be like,
00:30:19.740 what? Now we are beholden to the United States. We have nowhere to run. Damn right. You're dealing
00:30:25.280 with somebody you keep dismissing. He's not a fool. So you have to ask yourself an honest 0.95
00:30:31.960 question. Who do you want driving the next 200 years of human progress, us or China? I know
00:30:38.380 where I stand. America builds, America leads, and we don't want to hand that future to people who
00:30:45.500 are using our own concerns as cover to slow us down. We must demand better projects, real
00:30:51.860 transparency, local input, but we have to do it without walking into somebody else's trap.
00:30:57.800 those two things are not the same more in a minute this is the best of the glenn beck program
00:31:05.400 and we really want to thank you for listening
00:31:07.340 we're just a few months out from the midterms now and you know i know the results from that
00:31:17.140 might be not maybe not what we want could be i mean it is really to me this is a coin toss at
00:31:22.420 this point it seemed really bad and now it might seem like maybe the country wakes up through some
00:31:27.720 of this stuff i don't know it's important to realize that change can happen and it can happen
00:31:33.220 for the better and that kind of change comes from you and me if you are in a fight against leftism
00:31:38.540 and you want the republic you want the constitution and the declaration to rule supreme
00:31:43.700 then we have to do everything we can and one of those things you can do is change your mobile

00:32:25.140 learn all kinds of stuff you'll be entertained all through the summer with good wholesome stuff
00:32:29.140 that actually teaches your children some values and principles um i i have to tell you i cannot
00:32:35.900 i am not a soccer fan i don't really care about the world cup but i have to tell you i want to
00:32:41.140 be in some of these stadiums what is happening in the stadiums the one with australia in the u.s
00:32:45.480 where they were singing, you know, take me home, country roads,
00:32:50.940 and the whole stadium just broke out.
00:32:52.820 I mean, it was amazing.
00:32:53.860 And then at the end, they get together.
00:32:56.660 The U.S. team goes out in the center of the field,
00:32:58.480 and they start to pray.
00:33:01.220 Unbelievable.
00:33:02.200 Just great messages coming out of soccer this summer
00:33:08.180 here at the FIFA World Cup in the United States.
00:33:11.020 It's really amazing.
00:33:12.620 I want to introduce you to a new friend of mine,
00:33:15.060 Bishop Kai Dewar. He is one of, I think, seven pastors, priests, rabbis that will actually
00:33:23.900 stand up in the churches and in the pulpit and stand up and say, we're in trouble. Return back
00:33:31.560 to basic principles. We're in trouble. And he wrote a really great thing about Britain is not
00:33:37.420 the exception. Britain is the warning. And he was talking about the situation there with what's 0.54
00:33:42.740 going on with the grooming gangs. America should not view Britain as a foreign country. America
00:33:48.200 should view Britain as a glimpse into a possible future. The forces reshaping Britain are not
00:33:53.160 uniquely British. They are Western. The same institutional pressures, cultural assumptions, 0.89
00:33:57.720 and political fears exist on both sides of the Atlantic. This is not fundamentally an
00:34:04.640 immigration story. This is a story about institutional cowardice. Everybody knew,
00:34:09.640 Every civilization survives or falls on its willingness to tell the truth.
00:34:14.400 Britain's institutions increasingly chose comfort over the truth.
00:34:18.500 This is not a failure.
00:34:20.080 Failure is when you don't know.
00:34:22.020 This is a betrayal.
00:34:23.480 Betrayal is when you know and you do nothing.
00:34:27.500 He's a powerful, powerful bishop and a powerful voice, and we welcome him to the program.
00:34:32.880 Bishop, how are you, sir?
00:34:34.520 I'm good, Glenn.
00:34:35.540 Good to be with you.
00:34:36.340 Nice to see you again.
00:34:38.340 Yeah, good to see you.
00:34:39.240 good to see you um i first can we start with the news of the day um starmer is is leaving
00:34:46.280 i i don't know what the breaking point was there um there's been so many that have been missed
00:34:52.300 what does this mean uh well it it means that one when you were you and i were together in london
00:34:59.060 on the 16th of may what i said about kia starmer's days being numbered came true um and secondly it
00:35:06.280 means that this country is about to get an even worse prime minister
00:35:09.360 than the one we're kicking out if Andy Burnham becomes the next prime minister.
00:35:15.160 Because nobody talks about the fact Andy Burnham was mayor of Greater Manchester
00:35:19.800 and was actively involved in covering up the grooming gang scandal.
00:35:25.120 So it's, you know, it's one mess to another.
00:35:28.880 The frying pan to the fire is the old analogy we use here.
00:35:33.820 How is that possible?
00:35:37.100 How is it possible that he's the guy?
00:35:40.940 Because Labour, like they were with Starmer six years ago, have gone, he's our only option.
00:35:47.480 And what we'll witness sometime between now and September is a coronation of the man they used to call the King of the North,
00:35:54.340 who is absolutely despised in the South.
00:35:57.340 And Labour go ahead and push this agenda even further.
00:36:01.740 You know, there's an organization in the Manchester area called MEND. 0.63
00:36:06.020 They are Islamist supporters. And this is a man. This is an organization that Andy Burnham, as mayor of of Greater Manchester and the Greater Manchester governing body, used to do speaking tours with that.
00:36:20.860 You know, they used they did public events together. So I expect nothing to change.
00:36:26.880 What I'm expecting is this country is going to get far worse for the next three years.
00:36:31.240 oh my gosh i mean i don't know how much more you have left in you i mean it's getting really bad
00:36:39.080 i i believe uh we we're on the the verge of another cromwellian level event in the united
00:36:47.620 kingdom because explain what that means to americans so uh we had a huge civil war uh
00:36:55.780 started by the fact that Oliver Cromwell and King Charles I came to blows over the rule of
00:37:03.100 Parliament. And Charles I still pushed for that supreme power of the monarch. Oliver Cromwell
00:37:10.840 and his associates pushed for the sovereignty of Parliament. And ultimately, they convicted
00:37:16.220 the king of treason and beheaded him. That moment for us as a constitutional monarchy
00:37:20.900 was a very, very dark moment in our history because the country went through years of civil
00:37:27.280 war between the king's forces and the people's army under General Cromwell. And ultimately,
00:37:33.820 Cromwell himself became a dictator when he took over Parliament. So we're on that precipice.
00:37:40.380 You can feel it's palpable in this country that civil war is not just foreseeable. We've got high
00:37:50.340 ranking retired military officers now talking about civil war is is now inevitable in the
00:37:56.600 United Kingdom. And if it happens, it's going to be fought largely on a sectarian principle,
00:38:01.620 because I think the greatest pushback is going to be, you know, British citizens of every faith 0.81
00:38:06.880 fighting against this Islamic agenda and a well armed, well equipped Islamic force that seems to
00:38:15.560 be being prepared. I've just, just whilst I was waiting to come on the show now, I've just found 0.66
00:38:21.560 out a, what used to be a holiday camp is now being prepared to have another 3,000 illegal immigrants 0.99
00:38:30.940 put into it. And it's being kitted out to look like an army barracks. Three weeks ago, I was on 0.64
00:38:36.040 the streets of Liverpool with an organization called the Liverpool Guardians. And I saw for
00:38:41.700 myself even now with the grooming gang scandals going on there are still gangs of islamic males 1.00
00:38:48.260 patrolling the streets of liverpool looking for victims to sexually abuse and to rape and using 0.98
00:38:55.120 taxis and and shops that sell these you know these vape cigarette things and and all of this lot 0.88
00:39:01.220 to to actually perpetrate this agenda because they believe it is their religious right
00:39:07.420 you say sectarian
00:39:10.560 but you're
00:39:12.520 I mean no offense you know this
00:39:14.580 Bishop your churches
00:39:16.400 are dead I mean
00:39:17.840 they're not the king
00:39:20.320 at the head of the church is King Charles not
00:39:22.380 Christ the king
00:39:24.000 I mean you told me
00:39:26.420 yourself when we met I was stunned by this
00:39:28.520 there's seven of you that are
00:39:30.400 willing to speak out in the entire kingdom
00:39:32.480 there's seven of you
00:39:33.940 well thanks to that
00:39:36.600 day that we met, that number is now starting to grow. But there are, you're right, there are only
00:39:41.580 seven of us that have stuck our head above the parapets. The church has turned on us. Half of
00:39:46.360 society has turned on us. I've had multiple hit pieces done in the state media and the press in
00:39:53.940 the United Kingdom. I'm called Britain's far-right bishop. I'm Islamophobic, homophobic, transphobic,
00:39:59.220 every phobic under the sun. You know, apparently I'm the most dangerous man in Christianity 1.00
00:40:04.200 humanity in the Western world. I'm a divisive man in the Christian world. 0.87
00:40:09.840 Makes you famous. That's good. 1.00
00:40:11.740 Well, I mean, they did me a huge favor because they put my name in every house in this country.
00:40:16.800 The other side of that is, of course, that I have to deal with the fact that I live under three 0.89
00:40:20.440 active fatwas. I have to have security in certain events that I do now with church and conferences.
00:40:26.380 I've had no income at all since October 2024. I've had one unsuccessful attempt on my life
00:40:33.440 already. Uh, this is the reality of what we're dealing with yet. I'm undeterred because as you
00:40:39.580 know, with what's coming up in the midterms in the U S we are fighting not just for a political
00:40:45.420 environment. We're fighting for the very soul of a nation. I hope more people are understanding
00:40:53.840 what you just said. Um, we are, thank God we are not close to a civil war. I mean, we could
00:41:00.940 quickly but we're we're not there and um even for saying that in your country um i mean you know
00:41:10.320 you i hate to say this to you but you know this you probably have jail time ahead of you for even
00:41:14.900 saying that if things got into a civil war situation what what what does that actually
00:41:21.720 look like civil war in great britain in 2027 26 if we get to that point you will see the mass
00:41:33.020 number of patriots in this country that are uh what is deeply concerned about the direction this
00:41:39.360 country is going the fact that this country is losing its identity is losing its heritage
00:41:44.460 and that is being deliberately replaced and deliberately targeted suddenly begin to rise up 0.91
00:41:50.420 And the driving force that so many people talk about here is why the vast majority, some 98 percent of the illegal immigrants coming into the country, all of Islamic, all from particular Islamic countries, and every single one of them is a fighting age male.
00:42:08.300 The number of females and children coming into the country, if you're talking about claim asylum, it's a point of a percentage in comparison to the rest of the people that are coming. 0.99
00:42:20.040 And then we have idiots in this country, and I'm not careful in my language, as you know, Glenn, but we have idiots like Liverpool that declares the city or the region, I should say, a sanctuary city. 0.99
00:42:32.360 And now they have more than 2,500 illegal immigrants pouring in per day. 1.00
00:42:38.080 So the number of sexual assaults has gone up astronomically.
00:42:41.960 When I was there a few weeks ago, sexual assaults is still around 580 per month taking place.
00:42:49.040 oh my gosh the police claim that only 85 to 90 percent of sexual assaults actually get recorded
00:42:56.400 so if you think if it's let's say let's be generous and say it's 10 percent and 580 are being
00:43:02.600 recorded with the police that's close to 6 000 sexual assaults and rapes taking place every
00:43:09.760 month just in one city so this whole thing that rupert lowe's rape gang inquiry exposed has not
00:43:15.860 gone away at all and the government, the local councils, the institutions are still active in
00:43:22.640 helping cover it up because it's far easier than to act like it doesn't exist or let's not talk
00:43:29.920 about it than it is to be called a racist because we've had decades where we've been told that
00:43:35.280 saying anything about radicalized Islam, which is Islam in general, is a racist and I am forever
00:43:41.740 beating my head against the rocks when I cry aloud and spare not, as the scripture says, 0.86
00:43:47.060 that Islam is an ideological religion. It is not a race. So it is not racist to criticize it.
00:43:54.440 It is not racist to go against what they are trying to do with Islam. And fundamentally in
00:44:00.260 the UK, which should be a warning shot to the flare in the sky, so to speak, for America is 0.93
00:44:05.940 The ultimate goal is the replacement of your laws and your institutions with Sharia law. 0.75
00:44:15.040 What can the people of America do to save ourselves that you guys didn't do? 0.90
00:44:22.460 Because we are behind you.
00:44:23.300 Not very far, but we are behind you.
00:44:25.400 What are the things that we should be doing right now?
00:44:28.040 And what are the things that we can do to help you?
00:44:31.340 I mean, I'm really concerned, Bishop, about...
00:44:32.940 I was over with Tommy and you, and I said to you, you know, you guys don't have a Martin Luther King example.
00:44:39.940 And unless the church is leading this, you're going to get violence.
00:44:44.960 You have to, before the heart of the Christian is completely closed, you have to appeal and be able to take the blows to the head and never, ever strike back. 0.90
00:44:56.940 That's the only way this will break through. 0.99
00:44:59.240 And, you know, there's no, there's no Christians. I mean, there's you. I mean, the Christians have got to get involved in this over in England. So how can we help you? And what should we be doing that you made the mistake and we're about to? 1.00
00:45:16.300 my take on the answer to that Glenn is quite unique because my number one cry to to the whole
00:45:26.200 of America would be to simply say to look at where we are and see where you could be heading
00:45:32.220 and whatever you do with everything in you do not let the republic fail because if free speech if
00:45:39.600 freedom of religion, if everything that America has built over the last 250 years, the freedoms
00:45:47.600 that the Western world are currently enjoying and hang on to by the skin of our teeth because of
00:45:54.680 the beacon that is the United States. If the republic fails, the Western world is lost.
00:46:02.220 And for everybody listening, you need to understand our salvation. Europe is once again
00:46:08.480 looking to America as its salvation, politically and economically, because we cannot trust our
00:46:15.260 own governments. We cannot trust our own institutions. This year is the most critical
00:46:22.600 year in your electoral history, because this midterm will determine whether or not the republic
00:46:29.180 remains. And if you lose the republic, like I said, the Western world, certainly Western Europe,
00:46:35.820 is gone. When free speech goes silent in America, it dies in Europe. When liberty is restrained in
00:46:44.620 America, we are borderline communism in Western Europe. And what we have been through in Britain
00:46:52.760 is because people refused to actually stand up. They refused to push back against the media
00:47:01.920 narrative against the the leftist liberal agenda against the globalists that are trying to to force
00:47:08.620 the whole of europe and ultimately the whole world to bow down to their their wicked and evil agenda
00:47:15.580 and i would say the biggest thing you can do to help us fight with everything you've got to stay 0.98
