00:00:18.840 And your Tampa Bay vacation includes good times, relaxation, and great Gulf Coast weather.

00:00:25.240 Visit flyporter.com and actually enjoy economy.

00:00:30.000 You don't want to miss the first broadcast of the Glenn Beck Program of 2025.

00:00:35.920 We go over and give you perspective, different perspective, and the things that are really important about the Las Vegas bomber and the manifesto.

00:00:45.520 Also, the story of the guy who blew up his cyber truck in front of the Trump Hotel.

00:00:52.260 And have we reached the AI point of singularity?

00:00:56.620 This is important.

00:00:58.720 Plus, the truth of January 6th with John Strand.

00:01:03.420 You don't want to miss a second of it.

00:01:05.120 This is the best of.

00:01:07.440 Let me talk to you a little bit about the Berna Launcher.

00:01:09.780 I'm a gun owner.

00:01:10.720 I understand the importance of being prepared for emergency situations.

00:01:14.980 That's an understatement.

00:01:16.780 I am very prepared.

00:01:18.600 And according to law enforcement statistics, 99% of us, 99% of all situations where force is required, they don't require lethal force.

00:01:29.600 So it's vital to be prepared for that 1% of situations.

00:01:32.780 But what about everything else?

00:01:34.000 A Berna Launcher is legal in all 50 states, requiring no background checks or permits, no waiting periods.

00:01:41.880 I own several of them.

00:01:44.020 I gave them to my family members last Christmas.

00:01:47.200 And every launcher fires non-lethal kinetic and tear gas rounds, which will incapacitate an attacker for up to 40 minutes.

00:01:55.340 So take action now.

00:01:57.160 Protect what's important.

00:01:59.120 Berna.

00:02:04.420 It's Berna dot com slash Glenn.

00:02:07.020 B-Y-R-N-A dot com slash Glenn.

00:02:09.920 Where safety meets responsibility and preparation meets peace of mind.

00:02:15.160 Berna.

00:02:15.420 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:02:27.320 So there's a lot that has happened in the last couple of weeks since I've been gone.

00:02:32.280 And I want to start with the terror attacks.

00:02:36.580 But I want you to know there is a theme to today's show, January 6th.

00:02:40.280 January 6th, the theme is, you've been lied to, and it is time for us now to sort through everything and find out what's true and what isn't true.

00:02:52.520 So let's dive into something that we begin with.

00:02:56.080 It sounds like science fiction.

00:02:57.540 In fact, the next two hours are going to sound like science fiction to you.

00:03:02.100 But even if a fraction of this is true, it is not only real, but it is also deeply alarming.

00:03:08.540 It's about power.

00:03:10.460 It's about secrecy.

00:03:12.560 And those in the know that have kept the truth hidden from us, not just from you and me, but from the very people sworn to protect our way of life.

00:03:23.280 So let me start with the source of what I'm going to tell you about.

00:03:27.660 It's a manifesto that comes from the guy who was claiming to be a whistleblower.

00:03:34.200 He claimed to be a man on the run, hunted by his own government, he said.

00:03:38.100 He blew himself up, apparently, in a Tesla near the front door of the Trump Hotel in Vegas.

00:03:45.420 Now, why would he do that?

00:03:48.220 He said because the government has been lying to us.

00:03:52.400 I'm not going to give you the guy's name because I don't want to make him famous, and I hate, we usually don't read manifestos on the air, and I'm going to give you the summary of it.

00:04:03.420 But if any of this is true, it needs to be released.

00:04:08.660 We need to stand up and say, we need to know the truth on this.

00:04:13.560 Because if what he's saying is accurate, it changes everything.

00:04:19.960 Now, if you read the manifesto, he talks about gravitic propulsion systems.

00:04:26.340 What is that?

00:04:28.140 It's not your average stealth fighter or next-gen drone.

00:04:32.500 We're talking about aircraft that allegedly manipulate gravity itself.

00:04:38.740 Gravity.

00:04:39.960 It manipulates it to achieve flight.

00:04:43.020 It's a concept that defies all current physics.

00:04:47.680 But it's not without precedent in speculative science.

00:04:52.500 Now, what this means is, no combustion engine, no jet fuel, no sound barrier, just seamless, silent motion at unimaginable speeds.

00:05:06.080 The kind of technology that makes radar, heat signatures, and even conventional missile defense systems completely obsolete.

00:05:14.380 Now, I know this sounds crazy, but there was a very little-known announcement, kind of, that happened over the weekend that no one is talking about.

00:05:31.340 And it is the biggest news story of possibly all human history.

00:05:40.400 So hear me out on this.

00:05:42.260 Now, according to the manifesto, the aircraft are actively being deployed both in the United States and China.

00:05:49.120 And not just as prototypes in some secret desert lab, but operationally.

00:05:54.600 Apparently, he alluded to the fact that this is what we're seeing with the drones.

00:05:59.920 The whistleblower claimed that China has been launching these systems from submarines stationed in the Atlantic, right off our East Coast.

00:06:08.140 Now, let that sink in for a minute.

00:06:09.940 That if this is true, silent, undetectable aircraft capable of carrying massive payloads launched from submarines that can remain undetected just miles from our shores or even up above the White House and no one would know.

00:06:29.660 Now, he claimed that he had direct knowledge of these programs.

00:06:35.920 He says they have been used in China for years, conducting intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance operations.

00:06:42.840 It goes along with our spy balloon.

00:06:45.200 You remember the spy balloon?

00:06:46.400 He says these gravitic systems are integrated with that same network, and they form a system of surveillance that is so advanced.

00:06:55.960 He says it makes our current intelligence look like carrier pigeons.

00:07:01.900 So, he says that these are the greatest national security threat in history.

00:07:08.580 And if we do have gravitic aircraft, or China does, he is absolutely right, because it would bypass every single defense system that we have.

00:07:21.600 Imagine an aircraft with an unlimited payload capacity, a floating fortress, invisible, undetectable, capable of delivering weapons or conducting surveillance, parked over our capital in D.C.

00:07:40.820 That would be checkmate if it was true.

00:07:43.940 That's the reality that this whistleblower says is there.

00:07:50.900 But it also, in the manifesto, he dives into the past, into what he says is a dark chapter of the U.S. military history.

00:07:59.780 He alleges involvement in war crimes during airstrikes in Nimru's province in Afghanistan in 2019.

00:08:07.460 According to him, 125 buildings were targeted, 65 struck, resulted in hundreds of civilian deaths in a single day.

00:08:15.780 Now, he says that the strikes continued even after civilians were spotted knowingly and deliberately.

00:08:23.220 He calls it a cover-up.

00:08:25.320 However, we do know that the United Nations invested, this event did happen, and an investigation happened with the United Nations.

00:08:33.180 He says it's all a cover-up, implicating the Department of Defense, the DEA, the CIA, and even high-ranking generals.

00:08:42.760 So, he's not just talking about, you know, our national security of being challenged by advanced technology.

00:08:50.760 He is also discussing the moral rot that comes from operating in secrecy.

00:08:56.700 Even if, let's just say, none of this is true, this is allowed to take root because everyone has kept too much secret, and our government has lied to us.

00:09:15.640 Now, he went on to say he believed he was being hunted, not just followed, but actively pursued by his own government, tracked by Homeland Security, the FBI, or some other federal agency.

00:09:30.680 Is that true?

00:09:32.260 I don't know.

00:09:34.200 Could it be?

00:09:36.220 Tulsi Gabbard was on the no-fly list.

00:09:38.620 Now, think of the insanity or the desperation that would lead somebody to a point to where he prepared, you know, an IED in a vehicle.

00:09:55.100 Insane, right?

00:09:58.180 So, who is he?

00:09:59.520 Does he have any credibility?

00:10:00.520 Or is he just some conspiracy theorist in the basement, or a deeply disturbed military guy?

00:10:09.940 Well, he claims to have worked with high-ranking officials, including General Miller's staff.

00:10:15.220 He even names specific operations and personnel.

00:10:19.100 Those are easily verified.

00:10:21.500 Now, if he's lying, it's a pretty detailed lie.

00:10:25.060 If he's not, well, then, are we in serious trouble?

00:10:28.740 Now, my guess is he has multiple Valor Awards.

00:10:34.620 So, he was a special operations guy.

00:10:38.420 If you have that many Valor Awards, you probably have TBI.

00:10:43.320 You don't have to, but you probably had some traumatic brain injuries.

00:10:47.880 We also don't still understand what Biden's disastrous Afghanistan screw-up has done mentally to our frontline war heroes.

00:11:02.920 Many of them have been possibly permanently screwed up over all of this.

00:11:09.820 He was being treated for PTSD.

00:11:16.500 So, we know that he had a mental issue of PTSD.

00:11:20.360 That doesn't mean he doesn't have credibility.

00:11:22.860 I know a lot of people who have PTSD.

00:11:27.220 Here's the one thing we can take from this that we know for sure.

00:11:30.680 However, don't trust the government or the feds.

00:11:34.540 Listen to the founding fathers.

00:11:37.040 They didn't want you to trust the government or the feds.

00:11:40.680 They wanted you to hold them accountable.

00:11:44.680 Look what they've done to us.

00:11:46.900 Our warfighters are hurting in this particular case.

00:11:51.200 If you know one, reach out to them.

00:11:52.900 But let's return here just for a second to the gravitic propulsion technology.

00:11:59.840 If it's real and China is actively using it, we're not talking about a military advantage.

00:12:06.120 We're talking about a shift in the balance of power so profound that it will destabilize the entire world.

00:12:13.480 Remember the Cold War?

00:12:14.920 Mutually assured destruction?

00:12:16.220 That's the balance, very delicate, that kept the world from annihilating itself.

00:12:23.440 This technology in the wrong hands or even the right hands obliterates the balance unless we have it as well.

00:12:32.000 It introduces a new kind of stealth, warfare where speed, stealth, and payload capacity make any conventional deterrence absolutely worthless.

00:12:43.240 Now, if China has this technology, should we have been told?

00:12:49.540 Why haven't we been informed?

00:12:52.120 Well, the whistleblower said that it's because the U.S. government has its own gravitic system and it doesn't want to admit it.

00:13:01.720 So what was his message?

00:13:03.520 His plea, which I don't ever go into manifests and uphold somebody, and I'm not upholding him and his message and saying that his message is true except for this part.

00:13:21.400 He was calling for transparency, demanding that the American people be told the truth about all of these programs and their implications.

00:13:33.920 He said that secrecy only increases the risk of catastrophic conflict, one that could escalate into global war.

00:13:43.240 I heard another one this weekend.

00:13:46.360 Did you see that we were already sending war machinery over to Ukraine before Ukraine was invaded by Russia?

00:13:58.120 Why didn't we know that?

00:13:59.980 What was the real intent?

00:14:02.060 What is the real intent there?

00:14:05.540 So where does this leave us?

00:14:07.200 Well, sunlight is the best disinfectant, and sunlight is coming with Donald Trump.

00:14:14.540 If these technologies exist, if they're being deployed over our cities, we need to know it.

00:14:22.440 Secrecy breeds corruption.

00:14:25.540 Corruption leads to decisions that harm us all.

00:14:29.420 This is nothing more than a wake-up call.

00:14:31.640 It's a warning about the unchecked power, the risks of advanced technology, the moral cost of operating in the shadows.

00:14:41.680 Whether you believe any of it or none of it, the core truth remains.

00:14:48.000 We must demand accountability, transparency, and a return to the principles that made this country great.

00:14:55.780 The stakes couldn't be higher.

00:14:57.520 God intervened.

00:14:58.700 I really, truly believe this in the last election.

00:15:01.640 Now it's up to us.

00:15:04.300 What are we going to do with the time that we've been given?

00:15:08.920 This is the time to turn the corner and ask the hard questions and hold our leaders accountable.

00:15:17.900 Let's pray that the whistleblower was wrong.

00:15:21.900 But let's prepare to help this new Trump administration keep its promises.

00:15:26.040 He's going to need us very vocal to demand answers.

00:15:33.160 You want answers to this?

00:15:35.000 You have to be vocal.

00:15:36.360 You have to be serious.

00:15:37.260 And we have to be heard.

00:15:39.480 You want the truth on January 6th?

00:15:41.820 The COVID virus?

00:15:42.960 It's cover-up?

00:15:43.700 Fauci?

00:15:44.580 The pharmaceutical companies?

00:15:46.180 The food companies?

00:15:47.100 You want trials and people who did criminal things to be tried fairly, and if they're found guilty, go to jail?

00:15:56.440 How about the sex crime industry?

00:15:58.480 The ditty parties?

00:16:00.000 Epstein?

00:16:00.760 Do you want answers on that?

00:16:02.200 In fact, these people are powerful.

00:16:05.560 They are the most powerful people, perhaps in the history of all mankind.

00:16:12.440 They're not going to go silently into the dark.

00:16:16.740 They are not going to give up without a fight.

00:16:19.500 We must all resolve today, on January 6th, 25, that transparency is number one.

00:16:27.480 Remember, Trump said they weren't trying to kill him because they were afraid of him.

00:16:30.980 He told us over and over again, he was just in the way of them getting to us.

00:16:35.780 They are afraid of us.

00:16:38.900 That is the way the founders intended it to be.

00:16:43.240 So now, beginning January 20th, it is our time to hold them accountable.

00:16:49.860 Those we think are doing our bidding, they must know we will hold them accountable, and we demand answers.

00:16:58.660 This is the best of the Glenn Beck Program.

00:17:04.420 Sam Altman wrote in a tweet on X just a few days ago, six words that I think change the world, and nobody understands it.

00:17:16.700 He wrote, quote, near the singularity, unclear which side.

00:17:25.660 Near the singularity, unclear which side.

00:17:28.760 Meaning, we're either approaching it and are very, very close, or we've just passed the point of the singularity, and we're just on the other side.

00:17:38.340 Another open AI researcher wrote, miss the days when we didn't know how to create superintelligence.

00:17:49.900 I want to talk to you about the singularity.

00:17:53.240 The singularity is something that I have been saying we would hit by 2030.

00:17:58.120 People like Ray Kurzweil said we wouldn't hit it until 2050.

00:18:02.560 Many scientists said we will never hit it.

00:18:05.300 That's all in the past, now, or shortly will be.

00:18:09.700 The singularity is when Moore's Law, this is the nicest version of this, Moore's Law, completely falls apart.

00:18:17.860 Moore's Law is the chip law that it will double in power every two years.

00:18:22.740 That line goes from a slope of every two years, which is incredible progress, to almost now a straight line up.

00:18:32.560 The singularity defeats Moore's Law.

00:18:37.480 I've told you in the past there will be times, as we approach 2030, where it will happen, technology will change so rapidly that you won't be able to keep up with it.

00:18:50.280 There will be awe-inspiring stories out every single day, and you won't know the difference between truth and reality or science fiction.

00:18:59.900 We are here now.

00:19:03.960 The idea of the singularity is reaching that moment with technology, a point where progress accelerates so rapidly, the world will change in ways we can barely imagine.

00:19:20.280 It's the moment that humanity's technological growth moves from gradual and predictable to exponential and transformative.

00:19:31.100 Changing the future in ways we cannot understand.

00:19:36.380 Changing the future in ways our best scientists cannot understand yet.

00:19:43.560 For most of human history, we have lived in a world that didn't change very much.

00:19:51.540 A farmer in ancient Egypt lived surprisingly similar to the one in medieval Europe.

00:19:57.620 Plowed the fields, raised animals, praying for rain.

00:20:01.460 It wasn't really until the 1800s with the Industrial Revolution that things started to speed up.

00:20:06.540 Steam engines replaced horses, factories churned out goods faster than ever, railroads connected our coastlines, we could sail the oceans.

00:20:17.640 But still, progress was relatively slow.

00:20:19.920 A person born in 1800 would recognize much of the world in 1900, even with the addition of trains and telegraphs.

00:20:27.860 Those were things that were like, oh, wow, look at that.

00:20:30.200 That's wild technology.

00:20:33.360 But now, imagine someone from 1900 seeing a smartphone.

00:20:39.700 They would be bewildered by much of life.

00:20:43.480 In a century, we have gone from gas lamps to electric grids.

00:20:48.960 We have gone from the warmth of a campfire to the warmth of SpaceX rockets that can now not only go up, but also be recaptured.

00:21:03.240 To understand the singularity and why it is so important.

00:21:13.480 It's to tell you the story of, do you remember that old famous parable about the king and the chess board?

00:21:20.080 Have you ever heard this?

00:21:21.480 I think it was, you know, it was this king and he was in Persia and a poor farmer invented the game of chess.

00:21:29.000 And the king was so impressed, he offered the farmer any reward he desired.

00:21:33.400 And the farmer said, I just would like a single grain of rice on the first square of the chess board, then two grains on the second, four on the third, and so on, doubling the amount on each square.

00:21:47.340 The king agreed, thinking, well, that's rather modest.

00:21:51.140 But by the 20th square, the amount of rice is over a million grains.

00:21:56.960 By the 40th square, the rice is more than the world produced in a year. 0.98

00:22:02.060 And the king realized too late, oh, crap, and he was ruined. 0.59

00:22:07.460 That's the story of the chess board and rice and exponential growth. 0.98

00:22:12.040 Steady, small increases that suddenly snowball into something that is unimaginably vast.

00:22:22.120 Technology has followed this pattern.

00:22:25.720 Computers were slow and bulky.

00:22:29.800 Then came microchips.

00:22:31.980 Then they doubled in power every year or two, shrinking the size while growing in capability.

00:22:37.620 That's why your smartphone today is millions of times more powerful than the computers that helped land astronauts on the moon.

00:22:45.560 Now, imagine our technological chess board, if you will, is nearing its final pieces on the board, its final squares.

00:22:57.940 Instead of doubling rice, we're doubling computing power.

00:23:01.980 We're doubling artificial intelligence.

00:23:04.100 Our ability to understand and manipulate the world is being doubled.

00:23:11.280 And we're at one of the last chess squares.

00:23:15.480 The singularity is the moment when this doubling creates a future so radically different that you can no longer predict what's going to happen tomorrow.

00:23:27.560 Think of it this way.

00:23:28.840 If the industrial revolution turned horses into steam engines, the digital revolution turned letters into emails, the singularity could turn humans into something different.

00:23:47.260 It's not about faster gadgets or smarter AI.

00:23:50.220 It is about the possibility of technology fundamentally transforming what it means to be a human.

00:23:59.260 This is so important.

00:24:01.360 I've been on this bandwagon for over 30 years now.

00:24:04.600 And I have begged that we look at the consequences of what is coming so we can have principled conversations of what is the meaning of life and death.

00:24:22.780 What is that meaning?

00:24:24.780 What is that meaning?

00:24:25.660 What is life?

00:24:26.780 We have to have those conversations because the singularity is not near, or as Ray Kurzweil said five, ten years ago, nearer.

00:24:36.340 It's here.

00:24:39.740 Imagine two siblings.

00:24:41.720 Let's call them Anna and Leo.

00:24:43.680 They're living in a near future world on the brink of the singularity.

00:24:49.460 This is before the singularity.

00:24:51.740 This is right where Sam Altman, this is where we are today, where Sam Altman says we're either past it or approaching it.

00:24:58.400 Anna is a doctor.

00:24:59.420 She's starting to use AI tools to diagnose diseases. 0.93

00:25:02.920 One day, her AI assistant discovers something remarkable, a way to slow down aging.

00:25:09.880 Now, at first, just a few patients benefit, but within just a few years, treatment is affordable for everybody.

00:25:16.960 Suddenly, people are living for 150 years, then 200 years.

00:25:21.560 Entire industries, insurance, retirement, healthcare turned upside down.

00:25:26.480 Meanwhile, her brother, Leo, works in robotics.

00:25:32.700 His team creates machines that can learn and improve themselves.

00:25:37.060 One day, near the singularity, a robot invents a new kind of energy source.

00:25:43.000 It's clean, unlimited, and free.

00:25:44.960 Overnight, poverty disappears.

00:25:48.400 Energy costs plummet.

00:25:50.340 Factories run 24-7.

00:25:52.320 They produce food, clothing, medicine for everyone.

00:25:54.920 But all the car companies are out.

00:25:57.260 All the energy companies are out.

00:25:59.500 Exxon is a thing of the past.

00:26:01.520 Anna and Leo, just by doing what they were doing with AI, when they approached the singularity,

00:26:12.240 all of a sudden, their world changed in ways that were unimaginable overnight.

00:26:19.400 The line between human and machine will blur now because we will begin to merge with technology.

00:26:28.900 I'm not going to.

00:26:31.020 I don't recommend it.

00:26:32.780 But they are using, they will be using, X is already on this, brain implants to enhance your memory.

00:26:41.000 Or, in a story that also came out last week, uploading your consciousness into computers to live, quote, forever.

00:26:52.820 I read this in the age of spiritual machines in the 1990s.

00:26:57.380 This is what got me into this.

00:27:00.260 I thought, there's no way that this is true.

00:27:04.920 Ray Kurzweil told me, gosh, when I first interviewed him in maybe 2005, he said,

00:27:11.700 Glenn, all you have to do is live to 2030.

00:27:14.220 And I said, why?

00:27:14.860 You think we'll get rid of disease by then?

00:27:16.900 He said, no, we'll get rid of death.

00:27:19.000 I said, what do you mean by that?

00:27:20.880 He said, there won't be any death.

00:27:22.540 How, Ray?

00:27:24.760 How will there not be any death?

00:27:26.900 We'll download you to a machine.

00:27:29.680 I said, that's not life.

00:27:32.780 He disagreed.

00:27:34.680 He didn't believe in a soul.

00:27:36.400 The singularity, the moment when change happens so fast on such a massive scale that humanity steps into a new chapter of existence is here.

00:27:52.720 This is the best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:27:58.200 John Strand is an author.

00:28:01.140 He was also an attendee, if you will, of January 6th.

00:28:05.640 He is writing a new book called Patriot Plea.

00:28:09.380 It is out.

00:28:10.000 We'll talk to him about this here in a second.

00:28:11.900 But it reflects on January 6th and his life since being a political prisoner in America.

00:28:20.260 This is a guy who took the Patriot plea of not guilty.

00:28:25.760 So he served more time because he insisted.

00:28:30.640 He insisted he was not guilty.

00:28:32.980 And he took a principled stand.

00:28:36.040 I'm not sure how many people would do that.

00:28:40.000 I would hope that I would do that.

00:28:42.120 But, boy, I'm not sure.

00:28:44.720 John Strand is joining us now, author of Patriot Plea.

00:28:48.300 John, how are you?

00:28:50.140 Glenn, thank you so much for having me on the program.

00:28:52.720 I am doing well.

00:28:54.380 Just in awe of everything that's happened over the last four years that we mark on the anniversary of today, January 6th, 2025.

00:29:01.840 Four years later, after what I call really an American Reichstag fire moment in our history. 0.69

00:29:10.000 Yeah, it appears that it absolutely was that.

00:29:12.700 So January 6th, four years ago, what were you doing?

00:29:16.320 I was doing my job, ironically.

00:29:18.940 So I was actually in my professional capacity.

00:29:21.280 I'm the creative director for nonprofit America's Frontline Doctors and also GoldCare.com.

00:29:27.780 And so I was working alongside of my colleague, Dr. Simone Gold, who founded Frontline Doctors,

00:29:32.160 and was speaking out at that time against COVID lockdowns and medical misinformation.

00:29:36.860 So we were there, part of a speaking tour along the East Coast.

00:29:41.520 January 6th just happened to coincide with that.

00:29:44.040 She wasn't speaking politically at that time, so her comment wasn't about the election.

00:29:48.400 But, of course, we supported the constitutional concern that the 2020 election was problematic.

00:29:54.420 And we were absolutely shocked to see what should have been a America first protest, as many have before, suddenly devolve into a confusing situation,

00:30:06.100 which at the time was really just a couple of hours of mild confusion from our perspective.

00:30:10.900 We got pushed in the building, which we didn't expect, and then we safely and calmly made our way out.

00:30:16.420 And then in the ensuing days, you know, my front door was pulverized by a battering ram, literally, 12 days later with no warning.

00:30:23.960 And I was assaulted violently by 20 armed officers in a FBI SWAT team raid that was fit for a drug cartel in downtown Beverly Hills.

00:30:31.480 And my life was shattered and has never been the same ever since.

00:30:36.840 John, you were there on the stairs.

00:30:42.060 You know, I think it's very different to see it now on video the way I watched it than from your perspective.

00:30:49.500 You said that it was relatively confusing, but not what, you know, it turned out to be or what they claimed it to be.

00:30:56.980 You were pushed in.

00:30:58.400 What did they charge you with?

00:31:00.460 What did they say you did?

00:31:03.800 So they said a lot of things.

00:31:05.780 The actual legal charges are 1512C2.

00:31:10.100 That's a 20-year felony for, quote, unquote, obstruction of justice.

00:31:14.840 But the actual title is tampering with a witness, evidence, or informant,

00:31:20.060 which, of course, has nothing to do with my conduct or even the context of the day.

00:31:24.060 And yet, ironically, is exactly what Liz Cheney did, committing a criminal felony offense in tampering with a witness on the J6 committee and obstructing and deleting evidence. 1.00

00:31:34.880 So there's an incredible irony there.

00:31:37.220 But my legal charges were 1512C2, a felony, which I was vindicated and defeated at the Supreme Court, along with four misdemeanors related to being at the building and protest activity, essentially.

00:31:51.380 So they charged me with those five charges, totaling 23 years of potential prison, and then offered me a golden parachute plea deal.

00:32:02.800 If I would just bend the knee to the government and sign their confession, then I would only have a single misdemeanor, and it all would have been done behind me two years ago.

00:32:12.940 I never would have gone to prison or a week, maybe, and I would have had a normal life, sort of.

00:32:18.560 So what went through your head when they said, just plead guilty?

00:32:27.080 I know me, I would say, absolutely not.

00:32:31.800 But if I was looking at a 23-year-old, 23-year prison sentence, I know pretty much everybody in my family and myself, too, would be like, I'll be away from my children for 23 years.

00:32:45.200 There's – I can't – I just want this to go away.

00:32:50.580 Did you have that struggle?

00:32:53.180 Yeah, Glenn, it's an impossible choice.

00:32:55.380 I'll be honest with you, though.

00:32:56.720 I didn't have that struggle in the sense that I tell people this was the most painful decision I ever made.

00:33:03.080 And when you read the book and learn what they did to me in prison, you'll know what I mean.

00:33:06.220 It was beyond painful.

00:33:07.840 It was torture, actually.

00:33:09.340 And J6ers, our lives have been decimated. 1.00

00:33:12.680 So it was the most painful choice I've ever made.

00:33:14.720 But, Glenn, it was the simplest and easiest choice I ever had to make from the standpoint of crystal clarity that this was right and wrong, this was good and evil.

00:33:24.460 And I had to stand up for what was right.

00:33:26.740 I had to fight for what is good.

00:33:28.640 And I had to fight against a weaponized government, my own government, hijacked and corrupted absolutely evil weaponization.

00:33:36.540 And I had to fight against that.

00:33:37.600 But that's the choice that I made.

00:33:39.200 God delivered me and vindicated me at the Supreme Court.

00:33:41.320 And he's continuing to honor that choice now.

00:33:43.060 Let me just, as an aside, say to the listener, have you listened to these two gentlemen, our last guest and now John?

00:33:54.480 They are nothing like what the media would have you believe these guys would sound like.

00:34:05.120 Reasonable, rational, intelligent, and decent.

00:34:09.220 John, I'd love to have you back on.

00:34:13.240 Maybe let me have our producers talk.

00:34:15.700 Maybe I can get you back on tomorrow because I'd like to go in depth on what happened to you in prison.

00:34:22.160 But can you take us just a short visit into what happened to you?

00:34:27.700 Yes, real quickly, Glenn, I want to comment on something because I've heard you reference the idea of violent versus nonviolent offenders or nonviolent J6ers. 1.00

00:34:39.460 And I posted on X that I think this is really a dog whistle to swallow the leftist narrative.

00:34:45.140 And it's so important to understand what happened, what didn't happen, how it happened, and why it happened.

00:34:51.020 Was there violence on January 6th?

00:34:52.840 Well, I mean, of course there was.

00:34:54.460 But to say a nonviolent J6er is a misnomer.

00:34:59.040 The vast majority, if really not the totality of any conflict and violence that occurred on January 6th, was set up.

00:35:05.980 We were entrapped.

00:35:07.180 It was instigated and provoked by police misconduct, violation of use of force protocols.

00:35:12.760 This is documented extensively.

00:35:15.700 And so the conflict that ensued, even when there were scuffles with police officers, and we are sad about that.

00:35:21.520 We grieve over any harm to a police officer.

00:35:23.920 That is not what we want.

00:35:25.180 We don't honor or protect that.

00:35:27.320 But what I'm saying is that the vast majority of violence and even police conflict was instigated by the government against unarmed protesters.

00:35:34.840 Self-defense is not violence.

00:35:37.140 I agree with that.

00:35:39.400 And I agree with that.

00:35:41.200 But I look at the people who are dressed in black masks, who were breaking out the windows, who did appear to have a violent or at least a destructive intent.

00:35:58.020 Those people I separate from the people who walked in may have been caught up in a crowd where you're being crushed and, you know, police are just deeming all of you bad guys and are, you know, violating their own protocols.

00:36:13.880 I think there's a very big difference between that and the people who went in with an intent to destroy.

00:36:19.860 And you can just look at the people at the front of the Capitol, just breaking the windows.

00:36:26.080 They had intent to destroy.

00:36:28.660 I agree, but I don't think most of those people, if any of them, have been charged.

00:36:35.820 That is just remarkable.

00:36:38.120 So, where are you today mentally?

00:36:41.960 Go ahead.

00:36:43.480 I was just going to say the instigators primarily were disguised, masked, undercover.

00:36:49.540 And they are not the ones rotting in prison.

00:36:52.280 It is the innocent, unarmed citizens that are rotting in prison right now.

00:36:57.580 Where do you stand?

00:37:00.760 You know, I've changed so much.

00:37:03.380 How old are you, John?

00:37:04.660 Oh, I plead the fifth on that.

00:37:07.160 I'm an actor, so I never give my age away.

00:37:10.440 I will tell you that I've changed so much in the last 25 years.

00:37:15.940 I was red, white, and blue, just, you know, flag waving.

00:37:19.220 Our country, you know, is fantastic.

00:37:21.420 And we've done some wrong, but let's, you know, move on.

00:37:24.860 To somebody that really does not wave the flag for anything of the government,

00:37:31.440 but the principles that we try, we hope, we can follow and make a more perfect union tomorrow.

00:37:40.860 But I've lost faith in everything.

00:37:44.160 I don't trust the FBI.

00:37:45.580 I don't trust justice.

00:37:46.660 I just don't trust any of it anymore, which is a huge change in me.

00:37:50.660 Where were you on January 20th, or January 6th, mentally?

00:37:58.300 And compare that to before the election, if there was a difference, and today, if there was a difference.

00:38:04.720 I would say I was confirmed in my beliefs.

00:38:10.960 So on January 6th, I knew without a doubt the election was stolen.

00:38:14.760 It was illicit.

00:38:15.460 It was rigged.

00:38:16.220 There's plenty of evidence now to indicate that along multiple lines.

00:38:20.080 But we should not flinch or recede from what we know to be true.

00:38:25.760 Quite honestly, I don't think to honestly question, to ask honest and real questions that are very unpopular,

00:38:40.320 you should never recede.

00:38:42.200 As long as they're honest, they have to be asked.

00:38:45.720 Go ahead.

00:38:46.620 Exactly.

00:38:47.160 That's really the whole point of America, that we honor and protect the individual citizen and their sovereignty,

00:38:53.500 their freedom of thought, certainly their freedom of speech and of choice, and of association and assembly.

00:38:59.520 All of those things are sacred, and they are all under attack.

00:39:02.620 But I will agree with you, Glenn.

00:39:04.480 My faith in our institutions has been shaken.

00:39:08.000 I do not forget the FBI.

00:39:09.660 It should be abolished.

00:39:10.880 The Department of Justice is so wicked, as I know from personal experience now, that it needs, I mean, we need a Department of Justice,

00:39:17.320 but the current one needs to be raised to the ground.

00:39:19.480 And I really mean raised.

00:39:20.620 There is so little that is functional and certainly ethical.

00:39:24.400 We have to really examine deeply in our souls who we are as a people in a country and what went wrong with these institutions.

00:39:30.880 It's been going wrong for much more than 10 or even 50 years.

00:39:34.400 So the book that I wrote, Patriot Plea, is really an examination of who is America?

00:39:39.040 Who are we as Americans?

00:39:40.860 What do we believe?

00:39:42.040 And what unites us as a republic, because a republic is res publica.

00:39:48.620 It is a group of public that are united and oriented around a centralized entity or thing of some kind.

00:39:54.920 So in our country, that's this ideal that liberty and justice is for all.

00:39:59.640 But that is predicated on the beginning statement that we are one nation under God.

00:40:03.940 We've lost that in this country.

00:40:05.580 We have divorced ourselves from God.

00:40:07.280 And because of that, we have lost moorings to anything objective, reasonable, and concrete.

00:40:13.340 And so now we have chaos.

00:40:14.720 And that is by design.

00:40:15.660 That is what the enemies are inflicting on us to undermine our foundations.

00:40:21.240 And that's now seen in a corrupted justice system, a weaponized Gestapo, FBI, and everything else that's going on.

00:40:28.360 And I agree with you that we are in a perilous position, but I have hope, Glenn.

00:40:34.480 I have incredible faith and optimism in God and the truth of his word in the Bible, the Judeo-Christian foundation that was our original starting point in this nation that we must return to, that God would then heal our land if we humble ourselves, seek his face, pray, and turn from the wickedness of our ways.

00:40:52.760 And I believe in that as a people, and we, the people, are supposed to choose our leaders and form our government.

00:40:59.080 And we have a huge reclamation project to begin on, and that's what I hope to inspire people with.

00:41:04.920 John, I'm going to talk to my producers.

00:41:06.940 I'll try to get you on tomorrow as well.

00:41:08.980 I'd like to go a little deeper in this.

00:41:11.160 I think you're right.

00:41:11.940 You're very well spoken.

00:41:12.860 The name of the book is Patriot Plea, and you can get it now at johnstrand.com.

00:41:21.220 That's johnstrand.com.

00:41:23.980 My journey as a political prisoner in the divided states of America.

00:41:28.420 Patriot Plea.

00:41:30.000 Johnstrand.com.

00:41:31.340 Thank you, John.

00:41:31.980 Appreciate it.

00:41:32.900 Talk to you again.

00:41:33.520 Thank you so much.

00:41:34.460 Thank you, Glenn.

00:41:35.160 God bless you.

00:41:35.600 You bet.
