00:02:18.960 This isn't a podcast.

00:02:30.500 Together, we'll make a difference.
00:02:32.620 And thanks for standing with us.
00:02:33.880 Now let's get to work.
00:02:36.160 So I was glued to the news this weekend, you know, not the tinfoil hat streaming from a basement kind of news, but the shiny corporate news, you know, the we've got a hair budget bigger than NASA network kind of stuff, you know.
00:02:56.760 And they serenaded me with this heartwarming tale of mostly peaceful protests that were happening in Los Angeles.
00:03:04.240 And it was truly inspiring, truly inspiring.
00:03:08.460 Those politicians in California just keeping people safe and fighting for the average person, you know.
00:03:14.900 Meanwhile, over the anchor's shoulder, it was like an audition reel for Mad Max Fury Road.
00:03:21.640 I don't know if anybody caught that, you know, a guy in black block gear just yeeting a concrete slab at federal agents like he's, you know, gunning for gold in the anarchist Olympics.
00:03:33.760 But it was it was it was great.
00:03:36.180 It was great.
00:03:37.040 Dumpster fire blazing, you know, dude in a Che Guevara crop top trying to set a police car on fire.
00:03:44.320 But it was mostly peaceful, you know.
00:03:46.220 And I think what screams mostly peaceful is the cloud of tear gas.
00:03:52.360 You know, maybe that was just some sort of dystopian, you know, vape ad that was running in the back.
00:03:59.140 I'm not really sure, but with a straight face, don't worry, it's mostly peaceful, you know, aside for the part where it's totally and completely not kind of like say, you know, imagine that.
00:04:10.000 Remember the oh, the humanity guy.
00:04:12.120 It's kind of like saying if he was, you know what, the Hindenburg mostly flew, except for that tiny explosion part at the very end.
00:04:20.180 But it mostly flew.
00:04:22.320 Yeah, it really did.
00:04:23.700 You know, my blind date was very, very charming until he tried to stuff me into an ice bath and cut out my kidneys.
00:04:32.480 Oh, and speaking of ice, the Titanic mostly floated, except for that little part at the end when it didn't.
00:04:40.540 You know, those little parts seem to be important, historically speaking.
00:04:45.780 I don't know.
00:04:46.980 I mean, yes, you had a very lovely dinner.
00:04:49.940 You had an awful lot in common, but when he tried to put you in the ice bath, all of that kind of doesn't count anymore, you know.
00:04:59.640 And I love the fact that they're calling this just spontaneous and grassroots because absolutely, that's what I was thinking.
00:05:08.060 Totally grassroots, especially with their signs that say, you know, smash capitalism or whatever they were saying.
00:05:14.720 I don't know if you saw this, but printed in crisp HD, you know, was, I don't remember what exactly it was,
00:05:22.200 but it was like comradeskinkos.com where you can get a discount now, you know, for bulk riot boards.
00:05:31.320 But it said the communists and socialists printed by, paid for by, I mean, they're proud of the fact that they're communists.
00:05:41.680 And the flags, oh my gosh, it was so patriotic.
00:05:44.600 Like, well, I mean, unless you were an American, you know, parade of banners.
00:05:51.080 I'm hearing stuff in my ear, parade of banners from El Salvador and Cuba and Venezuela, the Palestinian flag that always screams peace to me, you know, you know, it was it was good.
00:06:03.920 It was like they raided a U.N. gift shop and said, give me all the flags from dirtbag communist countries that are failing and terrorist states.
00:06:12.160 I need all of those flags.
00:06:15.260 Meanwhile, the news anchors, clutching their pearls and the PhDs in their creative delusion, insist these are just terrified everyday Americans.
00:06:26.240 Really?
00:06:27.140 Because they didn't look terrified.
00:06:28.860 Wait, you mean the people that are having the Molotov cocktails thrown at them?
00:06:33.660 Those were the terrified Americans?
00:06:35.280 No, that's not what they meant.
00:06:38.220 Okay, Janet, sure.
00:06:39.240 I mean, assuming that Americans show up to protest in tactical vests, waving foreign flags and, you know, mispronouncing proletariat.
00:06:52.320 I mean, maybe that's the average American.
00:06:55.580 I don't know.
00:06:56.860 And here's my favorite part of the circus this weekend.
00:06:59.240 And we're going to get into this deeply a little later on in the program.
00:07:02.380 75% of the spontaneous rage fest funded by tax dollars.
00:07:11.180 75% of what you saw funded by tax dollars.
00:07:17.960 That's great.
00:07:20.020 That is great.
00:07:21.600 Politicians there working overtime so some trust fund Trotsky can Molotov a Dunkin' Donuts, you know, the only place you can get a decent cup of coffee.
00:07:34.180 Wait, you're burning down the coffee shop now?
00:07:36.120 Why are you burning down the coffee shop?
00:07:38.260 And all the politicians are cheering.
00:07:39.980 I mean, it's great.
00:07:41.140 It's great.
00:07:41.620 These politicians, you know, they're the same people that spent the summer of 2020 letting your city burn down.
00:07:49.260 Some sort of a, I don't know, communist barbecue pit.
00:07:53.180 And while everybody on CNN was talking about hope and healing, it's the same thing.
00:07:58.280 It's the same boomers that in, you know, back in the 70s were jetting off to liberate communist guerrillas.
00:08:05.820 You know, with nothing but a tie-dye shirt and a dream.
00:08:09.380 We're going to do it.
00:08:10.340 This is utopia.
00:08:11.280 Now they're back sipping taxpayer-funded oat milk lattes and just opining on how peaceful this is.
00:08:22.200 And look at that.
00:08:23.100 My gosh.
00:08:23.780 Look at the art.
00:08:24.520 That was a police car.
00:08:25.860 Now it's an avant-garde bonfire art piece that we're just doing the installation on now.
00:08:32.580 Yes, yes.
00:08:33.360 This is how progress happens.
00:08:35.880 It's not progress.
00:08:36.920 It's not progress.
00:08:37.820 This is communism.
00:08:41.860 This is somebody trying to overthrow the United States of America.
00:08:47.240 You know, somebody should point out, hey, I don't know, setting buildings on fire, setting police cars on fire, throwing concrete slabs at police officers and government agents, probably not peaceful.
00:09:02.340 You know, but you say that and boom, you're a fascist bigot, you know, or just, God forbid, somebody who notices things and is still attached to reality.
00:09:12.260 But relax, gang.
00:09:13.440 It's just, you just squint, squint at the flaming Starbucks and it may, it looks like it's just pretty and mainly peaceful.
00:09:23.660 And you've got to squint a little harder at the looted target and all of that.
00:09:29.160 But it's just vibes.
00:09:30.180 It's just revolutionary taxpayer-funded vibes.
00:09:32.720 That's all it is, gang.
00:09:33.840 That's all it is.
00:09:35.080 So I just want to, it's great.
00:09:38.660 It's great.
00:09:39.580 Now, this all started apparently because we were going after these poor illegals that are here just because they're poor and they're, they're just looking for a better life.
00:09:55.100 Maybe more people to rape.
00:09:56.880 I'm not sure.
00:09:57.400 Did I say that?
00:09:58.360 That's so wrong.
00:09:59.240 Let me give you the list of the people that they arrested.
00:10:02.220 This, this is what started it.
00:10:04.080 Okay.
00:10:05.520 You have Rolando Enriquez, 55 years old, just came here for a better life.
00:10:11.940 He's from the Philippines.
00:10:13.400 Now, he wanted to start all over.
00:10:16.320 He has a criminal history that includes burglary in Ontario, California.
00:10:21.200 He was sentenced to four years in prison.
00:10:24.760 But it wasn't just that.
00:10:26.200 He also, I like this one, sexual penetration with a foreign object with force and assault with the intent to
00:10:33.640 commit rape in the city of Pomona, California.
00:10:38.380 He was sentenced to 37 years in prison.
00:10:42.500 But I don't know how they count time in California, but I don't think he was in prison for 37 years.
00:10:52.280 He was arrested on Saturday and served a notice to appear.
00:10:56.020 That's an outrage.
00:10:57.160 How can we possibly, how could we possibly, all he was doing was inserting foreign objects in people.
00:11:04.040 That's all he was doing, you know, with force, with an intent to rape.
00:11:09.760 But who hasn't done that?
00:11:12.100 I mean, we've all made mistakes.
00:11:14.540 Then you have Jose Ortiz, 42, of Ecuador.
00:11:19.920 He was arrested on Friday, served administrative deportation.
00:11:24.760 His criminal history includes being sentenced for more than 11 years in prison for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute five kilos of cocaine.
00:11:35.640 So he's just a drug dealer.
00:11:38.520 Like America doesn't have drug dealers.
00:11:41.560 We don't deport all of our drug dealers, do we?
00:11:44.260 Again, he was sentenced to more than 11 years in prison.
00:11:48.620 My question is, why wasn't he in prison?
00:11:54.300 I'd like to know that one.
00:11:56.360 Then you have Victor Martinez.
00:12:01.480 He's 44.
00:12:03.460 He's from Mexico.
00:12:04.620 He was arrested.
00:12:06.120 Alleged active gang member of Bratz 13.
00:12:11.160 But he's only, he only has a criminal history that includes sexual battery in Los Angeles.
00:12:19.340 He had 135 days in jail, five years probation.
00:12:24.100 Now, see, that's the California that I know and love.
00:12:27.240 Give him a few days in the clink and let him go.
00:12:31.220 Let him go.
00:12:32.480 Sentenced to 90 days in jail, three years probation for receiving known or stolen property in Norwalk.
00:12:39.340 And sentenced to 365 days in jail and four years probation for petty theft.
00:12:45.380 Now, that's much more like your average Californian, right?
00:12:49.700 I mean, he was only stealing stuff, you know, and maybe receiving some stolen property.
00:12:58.420 But no big deal.
00:13:00.220 Then you have Victor Aguilar, 32.
00:13:03.520 He's from Mexico.
00:13:04.380 So, arrested on Friday.
00:13:06.480 Criminal history in Pasadena that includes being sentenced to 112 days in jail for possessing unlawful paraphernalia.
00:13:16.080 Stu, what do you think unlawful paraphernalia is?
00:13:19.120 In California.
00:13:20.300 I mean, I could come up with a lot of things.
00:13:22.560 You know, I'm here in Idaho.
00:13:23.900 You're in Texas.
00:13:24.700 I could come up with a lot of things that might be unlawful paraphernalia.
00:13:29.200 But in California, what would that be to use?
00:13:33.580 The Constitution?
00:13:34.760 Would that be unlawful?
00:13:35.980 Okay.
00:13:36.660 All right.
00:13:37.580 Good.
00:13:38.420 Good.
00:13:39.180 Good.
00:13:39.920 Any GOP bumper sticker or anything like that.
00:13:44.480 He was also sentenced to 16 months in jail for possessing controlled substances.
00:13:50.700 He was four years, sentenced for four years behind bars for assault with a deadly weapon.
00:13:56.100 And then 364 days, not a full year, 364.
00:14:00.880 A full year would have been madness.
00:14:03.060 But 364 days in jail for obstructing a public officer.
00:14:07.640 He's also an alleged active member of the Via Boys gang, which I think is a K-pop group from the 90s.
00:14:16.420 I'm not sure.
00:14:17.680 Then you have Delfino Martinez, 51 of Mexico.
00:14:21.480 He was arrested on Friday, served notice to appear.
00:14:24.140 His criminal history includes assault with a deadly weapon, with great bodily injury in Los Angeles.
00:14:30.080 He was sentenced to a year in jail.
00:14:32.660 Okay.
00:14:33.140 So then you have, holy cow.
00:14:37.000 Now, why didn't we have this at the beginning?
00:14:41.840 Geez.
00:14:42.320 Now, I know why everybody's so upset.
00:14:46.960 They arrested Jesus.
00:14:49.780 Now, I didn't know Jesus had a middle and two last name.
00:14:55.280 Jesus Alan Hernandez Morales.
00:14:57.480 So I'm not sure if it's the same Jesus or not.
00:15:01.780 But he sounds like he, I mean, he was arrested and sentenced in Las Cruces.
00:15:07.760 The cross is, hello.
00:15:10.520 This is what this is all about, people.
00:15:13.840 239 days in jail for conspiracy to transport an illegal migrant.
00:15:18.380 So all he was doing is what Jesus would have, no, what Jesus did do.
00:15:24.400 He was smuggling people in the back of his car.
00:15:27.440 And I'm sure it had nothing to do with sexual favors or anything like that.
00:15:32.820 Also, he discharged a firearm at an inhabited dwelling and a vehicle.
00:15:41.200 What, what, this is so ridiculous.
00:15:45.340 He discharged a firearm at an inhabited, an inhabited dwelling.
00:15:51.280 You mean, so it wasn't just a flophouse.
00:15:56.760 No, even flophouses could be inhabited.
00:15:59.320 So it was someplace where people were dwelling and he accidentally discharged a fire.
00:16:09.520 In other words, he pulled the trigger of a gun.
00:16:13.460 Okay.
00:16:14.960 Also, four years of probation.
00:16:18.140 Just, but this was only for battery on a spouse or a cohabitant.
00:16:22.960 I love that one.
00:16:24.000 A spouse or a cohabitant.
00:16:25.760 We're not really sure how they define their relationship.
00:16:29.920 Sentenced to four years also for willfully cruel, willful cruelty to a child.
00:16:36.240 And ten days for driving under the influence.
00:16:39.920 How is this guy out so much to keep doing all of these crimes?
00:16:44.140 I mean, how is that happening?
00:16:45.520 You do one, you should, it should prevent all of the other crimes from happening.
00:16:49.960 You know?
00:16:51.180 Also, three years, sentenced for three years behind bars for assault with a semi-automatic firearm.
00:16:57.620 Which is like, I might as well be a bazooka to people in California.
00:17:03.280 And being sentenced to three years behind bars for personal use of a firearm.
00:17:08.060 And I want you to know, that was not in an inhabited dwelling.
00:17:12.840 That was just outside someplace in the wild.
00:17:15.320 We don't even know where that happened.
00:17:17.260 So it could be even worse.
00:17:18.920 So these are just the people that were arrested on Friday that caused all of these riots.
00:17:27.780 And you can see why, how the average person, as Karen Bass says, is so concerned that they could be next.
00:17:35.140 Well, if you are inserting foreign objects into a cohabitant in an occupied dwelling with a firearm,
00:17:46.340 uh, yeah, you might be next.
00:17:49.420 You might be next.
00:17:50.520 But is that a bad thing?
00:17:52.360 Going to get into that.
00:17:53.700 And so much more how Californians are paying for this coming up.
00:18:01.040 This is the best of the Glenn Beck program.
00:18:03.760 Our sponsor is Real Estate Agents I Trust.

00:18:42.920 We vet these people because we have like 10,000 real estate agents that would like to be part of this network.
00:18:48.820 I think we have maybe 2,000 agents in the country because we want to make sure that we are tracking everybody.
00:18:56.480 We call people after.
00:18:57.680 How was your experience?
00:18:58.600 What was it like?
00:18:59.480 We track everything.
00:19:01.120 And we also really vet these people.

00:19:41.820 Now back to the podcast.
00:19:43.320 If you're a Californian, the current L.A. riots are example, is an example of your tax dollars at work.
00:19:51.380 And here's why I can say that with real confidence.
00:19:55.980 Let's start here.
00:19:56.800 The Coalition for Human Immigrant Rights.
00:20:00.120 CHIRLA.
00:20:00.780 C-H-I-R-L-A.
00:20:03.300 One of the key players in fomenting the violent response to immigration enforcement actions over the weekend.
00:20:09.380 Last hour, if you missed any of today's podcasts, make sure you go back and listen.
00:20:14.540 Last hour, I went through who these people were that we rounded up.
00:20:18.520 They were violent, extremist, rapist, burglars, people that have beaten up their wives, doing cruel things to children.
00:20:29.200 You name it.
00:20:30.380 That's who this is all really about.
00:20:32.660 Okay.
00:20:32.840 This is not about scooping up people in the middle of the night.
00:20:36.440 So who are, who's CHIRLA?
00:20:38.660 Well, it's an L.A.-based nonprofit.
00:20:41.880 They take radical positions on immigration.
00:20:44.480 For example, it led the 2018 campaign to abolish ICE.
00:20:48.520 It currently leads the Los Angeles Rapid Response Network, which gathers intel about enforcement actions and deploys activists to respond to, in other words, to put our police officers and ICE federal agents in danger by exposing them in advance.
00:21:07.160 They also have strong ties to the Democrat Party in California.
00:21:10.720 They have supported the election of Democrat candidates throughout its lobbying arm and throughout its history.
00:21:19.340 It has a really close relationship with Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass.
00:21:24.360 The organization also has a close relationship with organized labor in the state.
00:21:29.740 Now, wait a minute.
00:21:30.980 You don't mean like SEIU.
00:21:34.640 I'll have Jason give me an update on SEIU, the head guy of SEIU.
00:21:39.220 If you followed me back when we were on Fox and back in those days on radio, you know the role of SEIU and how bad this organization really is.
00:21:51.500 They are, I believe, they are just insurrectionists through and through, communists through and through.
00:21:59.360 But that's my opinion.
00:22:00.320 The organization also has a close relationship with the organized labors, which in turn, they become a major financial supporter of Democratic politicians.
00:22:12.000 On Friday, CHURLA held a rally protesting ISIS enforcement actions and the arrest of the SEIU president for obstruction.
00:22:20.680 Now, the incredible part is that CHURLA's activities are primarily funded by you if you are a taxpayer in California.
00:22:31.940 We have obtained a financial audit shows that for fiscal year ending 2023, $34 million from the state, mostly through the Department of Social Services, accounts for 72% of the total revenue.
00:22:46.920 This is nearly a threefold increase over the previous year.
00:22:51.180 Now, all of this information is coming from, what's her name?
00:22:56.320 Laura Powell.
00:22:57.060 Laura Powell.
00:22:57.640 She is the, what is her handle?
00:23:01.160 GOP.
00:23:02.500 She's a civil liberties attorney in California.
00:23:06.580 Okay.
00:23:06.800 They also received $450,000 in federal contract in 2023, which Mayor Bass publicly took credit for on helping secure.
00:23:19.600 DHS froze funding in February, which prompted a lawsuit from CHURLA.
00:23:24.000 So the DHS was also funding this group.
00:23:28.540 DHA then canceled the contract.
00:23:30.800 Lawsuit was then dismissed.
00:23:32.120 This is the military, educational, industrial complex, all of this stuff.
00:23:38.620 This is a nonprofit industrial complex.
00:23:41.480 Eisenhower did not include the nonprofit industrial complex because we hadn't really thought of it yet back in the 50s.
00:23:50.040 But that's exactly what is going on here.
00:23:53.400 Now, there are other people involved.
00:23:55.560 If you are in doubt at all on what is actually happening in California, I want you to listen this week because this week and on Wednesday, our Wednesday TV show, I'm going to go through all of this.
00:24:14.600 And I want you to have a friend, watch it, somebody who's not completely lost, but still maybe a little confused.
00:24:21.380 They must understand what they're seeing is a show.
00:24:26.780 This is all planned.
00:24:28.700 This has nothing to do with Trump.
00:24:30.660 This has nothing to do with illegals that are here that are good families.
00:24:34.840 It has nothing to do with this.
00:24:37.020 This is about a color revolution.
00:24:40.140 Now, let me tell you about one of the guys involved in this.
00:24:43.160 He's a billionaire from America, Neville Roy Singham.
00:24:47.760 He is kind of a mysterious figure that made a lot of his fortune, in part due to his ties with communist China.
00:24:55.860 He now lives in China and has emerged now as a key funder of the radical groups inside the United States that are pushing for the violent protests.
00:25:07.900 And he's got a very strict pro-Beijing kind of script.
00:25:12.580 He made his wealth by selling IT software business to an investment firm partially owned by the Communist Party in China.
00:25:21.580 He is a major funder of a group called the People's Forum.
00:25:27.180 Hmm.
00:25:28.540 The People's Forum.
00:25:30.140 It's not, they're not hiding in plain sight there.
00:25:32.900 Below are excerpts from a very long expose that Just the News published in March this year.
00:25:39.400 Hang on, I'm just reading my notes from Jason.
00:25:44.380 Meet the pro-CCP Marxist revolutionary group behind the Mohammed Khalil protests of 3-20-25.
00:25:52.560 Jason, remind me who Mahmoud Khalil is.
00:25:58.260 He was the guy, Columbia University, that said all that off.
00:26:01.400 Give us a quick thumbnail of him.
00:26:03.160 That's it.
00:26:03.460 Yeah, he was one of the central figures when they were, you know, shutting down Columbia.
00:26:09.500 There was a much larger, you know, group, which we will go into later, that were doing this thing called Shut It Down for Palestine.
00:26:17.340 Again, another tie to socialists, Marxists, for some weird, odd reason, heavy focus on Maoism in particular.
00:26:29.220 Of course.
00:26:30.180 But yeah, that's who that guy was.
00:26:33.760 And that's also who the Trump administration was looking to deport.
00:26:36.060 So, the People's Forum has been a driving force behind the protests condemning the detention and possible deportation of the pro-Palestinian Columbia graduate student Mahmoud Khalil.
00:26:47.940 There are scores of videos posted by the forum on social media detailing the group's role in organizing, promoting, attending, and leading all of the pro-Khalil protests.
00:27:00.620 They did a rally outside the courthouse.
00:27:04.240 They did a sit-in at Trump Tower.
00:27:07.100 Khalil's legal team has addressed the crowd at a protest organized by the forum.
00:27:12.620 This is all from that American billionaire that now lives in China.
00:27:20.820 The forum is led by a guy named Milano Delos Santos.
00:27:28.080 And I'm saying that as white as a white man can possibly say it, because that's who I am.
00:27:34.020 Also, personally tweeted multiple times to promote the forum-led protest for Khalil.
00:27:40.920 Major patron for the People's Forum is the communist businessman, Neville Roy Singham.
00:27:47.260 For months, we've been the target of a campaign that alleges our funding comes from dark money.
00:27:52.220 A few years ago, we met Roy Singham, a Marxist comrade who sold his company and donated most of his wealth to non-profits that focus on political education, culture, and internationalism.
00:28:05.220 This is from the People's Forum.
00:28:07.600 Singham married Jody Evans.
00:28:09.680 Who is Jody Evans?
00:28:11.260 Well, she's the co-founder of the radical left-wing group Code Pink.
00:28:16.020 Her group touts itself as anti-war, but it's also very pro-China and very anti-Israel, pro-strangely pro-Islamists.
00:28:31.520 The New York Times reported that Singham works in Shanghai, that his efforts are linked to the Chinese Communist Party.
00:28:39.400 This is from the New York Times, that he has attended at least one CCP workshop on promoting the party globally.
00:28:47.480 The New York Times also reported that he provides backing for the People's Forum.
00:28:51.440 The Free Beacon has reported that key leaders for the forum serve in top position at Singham's Justice and Education Fund.
00:29:00.840 The Free Beacon also reported that the network run by Singham is also behind Breakthrough Media and Dongsheng News,
00:29:10.580 who both push pro-China narratives and whose content is re-shared by the forum here in the United States.
00:29:17.360 Free Press also reported that Singham and Evans have donated over $20 million to the People's Forum from 2017 to 2022
00:29:26.120 through a series of shell organizations and donor advisory groups, accounting for nearly all of the group's funding.
00:29:35.480 The Free Beacon also reported in 2024 the People's Forum had encouraged anti-Israel activists
00:29:41.300 to recreate the violent protests of the summer of 2020, just hours before the rioters' storm and occupied a building at Columbia University campus.
00:29:50.560 So these are some of the people that are involved.
00:29:54.340 Again, you also have the federal government involved.
00:29:58.680 DHS, under Mayorkas, was also helping fund, I think it was Churla, wasn't it?
00:30:06.340 Churla.
00:30:06.660 Yeah.
00:30:07.300 Tell me that connection.
00:30:09.960 So, yeah.
00:30:11.680 So, Churla, and I just lost it on my notes too, but Churla was receiving not only state taxpayer funds,
00:30:20.560 but they were also, under Karen Bass, received another grant from the federal government,
00:30:25.540 from the Department of Homeland Security.
00:30:27.940 Reports say that that grant specifically was due to lobbying efforts from Karen Bass.
00:30:34.120 Karen Bass, in case you don't remember who Karen Bass is, she's not just the L.A. mayor,
00:30:41.700 and we'll get into her later this week, but I want to just recap who Karen Bass is.
00:30:48.180 She's just not an incompetent Yahoo.
00:30:51.200 She is somebody who is very important to the movement, and we'll explain here coming up in just a second.
00:30:58.040 This is the best of the Glenn Beck program.
00:31:04.120 This is going to come as a surprise to you, but the Democrats have decided to sue Donald Trump
00:31:19.640 over sending the National Guard to California over the weekend.
00:31:25.260 And, quote, according to Gavin Newsom, he flamed the fires and illegally acted to federalize the National Guard.
00:31:33.900 No, he really didn't.
00:31:35.660 I mean, I could go over it with you, but I already did, so if you missed any part of the podcast,
00:31:41.140 just go to hour one of the podcast, and I go through the Constitution
00:31:44.680 and how the National Guard can be deployed and what has to be met, et cetera, et cetera.
00:31:49.880 And Donald Trump met those standards, and it's very, very clear.
00:31:53.840 But why confuse the California court with facts, you know what I mean, and reason?
00:32:00.480 What's really going on in Los Angeles, I think the guy who's got the biggest death wish out of all of us,
00:32:07.800 I mean, he's always, I'll go, Julio Rosas is our Blaze Media national correspondent.
00:32:15.720 He's worked for Town Hall, Washington Examiner, Independent Journal Review.
00:32:20.560 He was also one of the initial Manhattan Institute fellows with Christopher Rufo.
00:32:26.720 So, I mean, he's been in the fight for a long time.
00:32:28.840 He did a book, I think it was in 2020, The Gaslighting of America, and it was all on what was happening in 2020.
00:32:38.160 And I remember something was happening in the summer of 2020 that kind of looks like what's happening now in L.A.
00:32:45.580 Julio, welcome to the program.
00:32:47.180 You are in L.A. now?
00:32:49.160 Yes, yeah, I'm currently in the area.
00:32:51.700 So, tell me what your weekend was like.
00:32:54.440 Well, Glenn, I have to be honest.
00:32:57.060 I was on vacation, and I picked the wrong time to try to get some R&R.
00:33:01.280 But as soon as things started happening, I said, you know what, this is what we've been waiting for.
00:33:07.460 Because I was in Los Angeles earlier this year after Trump was inaugurated, and there were protests even then.
00:33:13.000 I know that Democrats are saying, oh, if you get them to admit that there's riots, which has been very hard to do, apparently,
00:33:19.660 they'll say, well, it's Trump's fault, but that's why there's unrest and disorder.
00:33:25.060 But there was unrest and disorder in Los Angeles months ago in direct response to Trump finally being back in office.
00:33:34.220 I was outside Los Angeles City Hall, and there was a big school walkout, and a big fight happened, and a high schooler got stabbed in that.
00:33:42.060 That's not the fault of the president.
00:33:43.420 That's not the fault of the National Guard.
00:33:44.900 And so what's happening now, what I've been telling people is that Los Angeles specifically, especially in a case like this,
00:33:54.520 they've been waiting for months for an opportunity to act out.
00:33:57.760 You've got all the faux controversies over the deportations from the quote-unquote Maryland man, Garcia, and all that.
00:34:07.320 And they've been waiting for their turn to be targeted so that they can, in their eyes, fight back against Trump and his administration.
00:34:16.980 So, of course, that's not to say that ICE shouldn't be doing operations here, but this was to be expected.
00:34:26.080 They have been preparing, and what has been playing out in the streets violently is exactly what they were hoping for because they want to, again, in their eyes,
00:34:38.900 defend the community and fight back against fascism and racism.
00:34:42.980 So, Julio, it's amazing to me because you look at the people, let me just give you a couple.
00:34:49.720 One of them, 55-year-old guy from the Philippines, criminal history, burglary, four years in prison for burglary,
00:34:57.500 sentenced to sexual penetration with a foreign object and to force an assault with an attempt to rape in the city of Pomona,
00:35:05.220 sentenced to 37 years in prison for that, arrested on Saturday.
00:35:08.760 That's one of the guys they're complaining about.
00:35:12.320 Another guy, criminal history, includes sentenced to more than 11 years in prison for conspiracy to possess with intent or distribute five kilos of cocaine history.
00:35:23.660 Another one includes sexual battery in Los Angeles, also sentenced for three years probation for receiving stolen product,
00:35:33.760 obstruction of an officer, assault with a deadly weapon.
00:35:40.680 I mean, all of these, that's who they picked up.
00:35:43.140 These were not, you know, the regular people.
00:35:45.780 How are the Democrats getting away with supporting the worst of the worst and everybody just looking the other way?
00:35:55.180 I mean, I hate to just repeat kind of the meme, but it really, it's Trump derangement syndrome.
00:36:01.200 Trump was great at moving the needle within the Republican Party on immigration and actually taking it seriously.
00:36:07.720 The side effect of that was the Democrats said, well, we have to be the exact opposite of Trump, which is why the Biden-Harris administration opened the border.
00:36:16.080 Okay, well, now that he's back in office, it doesn't matter.
00:36:19.640 To them, it does not matter who they're picking up.
00:36:22.880 They can pick up the worst person on earth, and they're still willing to fight tooth and nail.
00:36:27.340 And we've seen that, you know, even before this operation here in Los Angeles.
00:36:33.340 And this is really the fault of the mainstream media.
00:36:37.560 This is the fault of Democrats in Congress.
00:36:41.000 By whipping people up into a frenzy over every little thing whenever there's an immigration enforcement action.
00:36:49.660 And so that's why I'm just concerned that this is going to continue, not just in Los Angeles, but elsewhere, whenever there is a big mobilization.
00:36:59.480 Right.
00:37:00.320 Oh, it will.
00:37:00.880 The National Guard, he sent in the National Guard, and let me just give you the code right from the book.
00:37:07.900 National Guard, President of the United States can send the National Guard into a state without a governor's consent, but only under specific legal conditions, constitution, federal statutes, and legal precedent.
00:37:16.640 Give the president this authority, primarily in cases of insurrection, rebellion, or when federal rights are being denied.
00:37:24.520 The request, without a request, Section 252, the president can send in the National Guard to enforce federal law if unlawful obstructions or rebellion make it impossible to enforce federal law in that state by regular means.
00:37:45.640 The president then can send in forces without consent, rebellion, or denial of constitutional rights.
00:37:50.940 If there is an insurrection or domestic violence that hinders the execution of federal laws or results in the denial of civil rights protected under the Constitution.
00:38:00.100 I mean, it is very clear the president can do this.
00:38:03.800 And in any other time in our history, everybody, all Americans, would say, yes, thank you.
00:38:10.860 Send in the federal troops to stop this.
00:38:15.040 It's clearly an insurrection.
00:38:18.700 But not the case now.
00:38:21.480 People in California are actually paying for some of this through their tax dollars.
00:38:26.160 Yeah, absolutely.
00:38:27.240 And it's evidenced by the fact that they're not waving American flags.
00:38:30.820 They're waving flags of foreign countries.
00:38:34.460 And I think it just shows how President Trump has improved.
00:38:39.500 Because in 2020, he encouraged the governors in these blue states, mostly blue states, to put out the National Guard.
00:38:48.600 And eventually they did.
00:38:49.680 But that took a little bit of time.
00:38:51.040 And that's why I think it shows how the leadership is much more decisive this time around, supported by, I would say, by a better cabinet as well, who say, you know what?
00:39:00.660 We're not going to do this again.
00:39:01.760 We're not going to wait for anybody to dither.
00:39:05.260 Because, I mean, Minneapolis was, I mean, the reason why that got out of control, because Tim Walls just did not decisively say, okay, we'll send in the National Guard.
00:39:13.400 And so this, I just really need people to understand that this is what the far left, in particularly Los Angeles, but also other areas, they've been waiting for this moment.
00:39:28.220 And so I think that it sends a strong, clear message that, hey, we're not only going to send in federalized National Guards members, we're going to send in the Marine Corps.
00:39:37.660 And, you know, Glenn, I was in the Marines once at one point.
00:39:40.420 I mean, they're ready to go, too.
00:39:44.660 They're ready to go to take care of business just because, just like with my vacation, you ruin their weekend.
00:39:51.320 So they're not in the best of moods.
00:39:54.720 They got to get called back because it takes time to get worked up for a deployment of any kind.
00:39:59.600 So, but it's just, it's unfortunate that all of this started because ICE and HSI were taking the people into custody, like you were listening, right?
00:40:11.500 People that shouldn't be here, number one.
00:40:13.520 But also, number two, while they were here doing these horrific crimes against other immigrants, primarily, but also U.S. citizens, too.
00:40:20.800 So, I mean, I think Stephen Miller was, you know, I just saw his video again today when he was at the White House saying, you know, I couldn't pay any member of the media here to live next to these people, even if the house was free and you wouldn't have to pay any private taxes.
00:40:35.400 We couldn't pay you enough money because you guys actually all live in these, in these actually nice areas away from them.
00:40:41.980 And that's what really makes me upset is because that is absolutely true.
00:40:45.000 They, you know, I worked in D.C., the bubble and all that, and that's absolutely true.
00:40:49.220 No one wants to live next to these people, but because of their sensibilities and their misguidedness, they still think, well, other people can because at least we have the money to not do that.
00:41:01.100 Julio, do you have any idea what Gavin Newsom is doing with all this?
00:41:04.740 Because, you know, he spent the last few months trying to convince people he's, you know, right down the middle.
00:41:09.660 He's anti-woke.
00:41:11.040 He doesn't want men playing in women's sports and all this.
00:41:13.660 He seemed to be setting himself up for some move to the middle for a presidential campaign.
00:41:18.860 And then his reaction to this just seems to be, I don't know, at some level cheering it on.
00:41:25.420 Yeah, I mean, he's peacocking.
00:41:26.980 I mean, he's saying, oh, Tom Holman, arrest me.
00:41:29.580 We'll just get this over with.
00:41:30.660 Pete Hegseth, what a joke.
00:41:32.000 You know, he's doing his typical posturing.
00:41:33.760 But I think this, again, shows that in a time of crisis, you can either have a Democrat who's going to sympathize with the violent people that are ravaging American streets, or you're going to go with the other side.
00:41:45.360 And I think especially because it's not just him.
00:41:49.040 They released that letter, that statement from all the Democratic governors so that, you know, J.B. Pritzker, Josh Shapiro, you know, other people that might want to make a run in 2028.
00:41:59.140 This is going to come back to haunt them because, surprise, surprise, most Americans don't agree with just letting rioters rampage through the streets while waving foreign flags.
00:42:12.640 So I guess J.D. Vance is going to have to thank Gavin Newsom for providing him with more ammunition when that time comes.
00:42:23.740 But, yeah, I mean, it just further proves that there's a reason why California isn't the state that it's currently in, which is not good.
00:42:31.140 I, you know, I used to live out here at one point, and I understand why people love it, for its beauty, for, you know, for what it was, but it is far from that today.
00:42:43.940 And that is directly because of the policies in times of peace and in times of chaos.
00:42:50.440 Tell me what is expected today.
00:42:54.960 Is this going to continue to go on night after night?
00:42:57.720 Is it going to be going to have respite?
00:42:59.860 What is?
00:43:01.000 I think so.
00:43:02.180 I mean, it depends to see.
00:43:04.200 I mean, it's kind of crazy that the call to action yesterday was so early in the day because usually these things are kind of reserved towards more of the evening because in the evening they can get away with more stuff.
00:43:15.460 So we're still waiting on a word to see what kind of the time is.
00:43:21.400 But, no, I think things are to be expected to continue.
00:43:25.420 And it just depends on how many additional resources are put into the Los Angeles area.
00:43:36.600 I know that the reporting is 500 Marines with, you know, 2,000 National Guardsmen.
00:43:43.020 We didn't really see the National Guard out there, and that's just because under their rules they are mainly protecting federal locations.
00:43:53.240 And that does free up officers to, you know, take care of the rioters locally.
00:43:56.600 But in my opinion, I don't think it's going to really truly end in terms of the violence.
00:44:03.560 Obviously, people can protest peacefully.
00:44:06.000 But in terms of the violence, I don't think it's going to end until there is a massive response because Los Angeles is a big city, right?
00:44:13.080 I mean, the county is huge.
00:44:14.700 So, sure, you can secure the downtown area, but if something happens in Santa Monica or Glendale or, you know, wherever, that's going to – you're going to have to draw those resources and those personnel away and then exposing what they were once securing, or you're going to have to bring in more people so that you have all your bases covered.
00:44:33.880 It is – it's absolutely incredible to watch.
00:44:37.860 And if he does send in the troops, you're going to see Portland and Seattle and Minneapolis and everybody else start to react exactly the same way.
00:44:47.980 I mean, I think this is – you know, have you seen any of the coalition between the Palestinian, Islamicist, communist, socialist kind of activity?
00:45:01.300 Because this all seems to be rolled into one, and I think this is their – I think this is their tactic to get them to 2028, quite honestly.
00:45:11.340 It's just set the whole country on fire.
00:45:14.260 Yeah, absolutely.
00:45:15.260 I mean, yeah, because this is – these are always a coalition of far-left beliefs when it comes to racism, imperialism, colonialism, white supremacy.
00:45:24.800 I mean, to them, it's all one and the same.
00:45:27.300 So, yeah, we saw a few Palestinian flags, saw a few keffiyehs, people wearing to cover their faces, and some of the graffiti, you know, that makes passion, you know, mentions that issue.
00:45:41.300 And, of course, it's like, oh, well, I'm glad we didn't forget that because, you know, clearly that hasn't been given enough attention these past two years.
00:45:48.280 But, no, I think you're right, and we're seeing in other cities the same kind of far-left network promoting protests.
00:45:56.840 I saw one that's supposed to be in Chicago.
00:45:58.580 There's one that's supposed to be in Tampa.
00:46:00.220 I don't expect Tampa to get out of control because they actually take care of riders head-on.
00:46:05.080 Yeah.
00:46:05.440 But, no, Glenn, you're right.
00:46:06.960 So, basically, what I'm hearing is that I'm not going to go back to my vacation well anytime soon.
00:46:12.840 No, you're not.
00:46:14.180 Khalil, thank you so much.
00:46:15.020 When I found out my friend got a great deal on a wool coat from Winners, I started wondering,
00:46:22.180 is every fabulous item I see from Winners?
00:46:25.280 Like that woman over there with the designer jeans.
00:46:28.000 Are those from Winners?
00:46:29.520 Ooh, or those beautiful gold earrings.
00:46:32.000 Did she pay full price?
00:46:33.340 Or that leather tote?
00:46:34.320 Or that cashmere sweater?
00:46:35.580 Or those knee-high boots?
00:46:37.020 That dress?
00:46:37.800 That jacket?
00:46:38.480 Those shoes?
00:46:39.140 Is anyone paying full price for anything?
