00:00:00.000 so you didn't really make me feel much better well i mean i wanted to give i think today's a day

00:00:04.400 i want to paint a picture to people who are thinking about voting maybe they're thinking

00:00:08.380 oh i'm very confident this is a red wave a tsunami yeah what's the point why bother it could be but

00:00:15.100 right now it's just a dream it's just a it's just a dream so i wanted to make sure people understood

00:00:20.780 how close how stark the difference is and how close this is this is a close election i mean

00:00:27.320 it's not a blowout it's not a red tsunami uh that's obvious right like there have been times

00:00:32.180 it could be 2008 for example you go into the election we all knew it was going to be a

00:00:37.500 bloodbath for republicans that year right we all knew it uh we all knew it was going to be a blue

00:00:41.380 wave here how bad was going to be that's not what we're looking at here we're looking at it

00:00:45.160 there are opportunities for democrats to even win and hold control which would be a complete

00:00:49.800 catastrophe so i try to scare the hell out of everybody today yeah well i i think that between

00:00:55.120 the two of us we did um we also uh were talking to the um attorney general of texas and uh right

00:01:03.940 before i introduce him i give a story that i got from the uh secretary of state of missouri that says

00:01:10.720 hey just quick note from us at the doj our civil rights uh disability division is uh sending out

00:01:19.120 three teams tomorrow to uh missouri and we're just gonna be kind of staking out those uh those uh

00:01:27.080 polling areas oh as he's listening to me on hold tell that story he gets an email the doj is doing

00:01:37.580 the same thing to texas i'm wondering how many states are going to be getting a visit from the doj

00:01:43.660 and if any of them will be in places like philadelphia doubtful doubtful doubtful also uh

00:01:53.280 some quite amazing story uh about the 14 states that are bringing in the national guard tomorrow

00:02:00.540 yep and a very close election in oklahoma for governor we talked to the governor of oklahoma

00:02:05.360 about that race we also remind you to join us on election night blaze tv.com slash midterms

00:02:13.340 the promo code is red wave yeah and you know i'm normally just go to blaze tv.com but you want

00:02:18.580 to get the 30 bucks off if you use the promo code red wave so make sure you do that we're going to be

00:02:22.260 doing our election coverage from i believe it's 7 45 or 8 o'clock at night until midnight and then

00:02:28.940 we're going to turn it over to the youtube youtube.com slash studios america page to do late early

00:02:34.580 morning coverage so a lot going on don't miss the election coverage unlike anywhere else on blaze tv

00:02:38.920 oh that's for sure that is for sure could be good could be bad but it's going to be unlike

00:02:43.100 anything else wait until you see what we have planned that's tomorrow night all right here's

00:02:48.280 the podcast brought to you by gold line uh you know the the central banks are buying up all kinds

00:02:56.040 of gold we're not of course not we're not why would we do that that's crazy what a waste but uh china

00:03:04.040 is buying up billions of dollars worth of gold and it's happening all over the world and at the same

00:03:12.940 time paper gold is being sold that's starting to lose its value because paper has no meaning if you

00:03:21.220 have gold on paper you don't have gold there's not enough gold behind all of that paper it's toilet

00:03:28.100 paper in the end please learn from the experts learn watch just watch what's happening do your

00:03:34.620 own homework and then call gold line find out if gold or silver is right for you you'll get a thank

00:03:41.300 you just for calling in because you're a listener of mine if you give them the code myb for the podcast

00:03:48.240 myb that represents mind your business and that's what's marked on these silver bars that they're

00:03:54.220 going to send you just as a thank you for calling in so give them the code myb goldline.com or call

00:04:00.020 866 goldline 866 goldline here's the podcast

00:04:04.740 you're listening to the best of the glenn beck program

00:04:15.520 okay all righty so let's let's begin here

00:04:25.260 nbc news pulled a report on friday that claimed house speaker nancy pelosi's husband

00:04:34.160 didn't let on that he was in danger when cops showed up at his home just prior to the hammer

00:04:41.460 attack on him now here is a long time nbc reporter you won't find this anywhere it has been erased

00:04:51.860 i thought the internet was forever luckily our servers are forever here's the report

00:04:59.560 craig good morning when officers arrived here at the pelosi home exactly a week ago today they

00:05:04.240 initially didn't have any idea exactly what was going on they knew they had a high priority call

00:05:09.760 on their hand what was unclear what was happening inside the property just behind me

00:05:14.800 this morning paul pelosi is home back at the house that became a crime scene a week ago today

00:05:23.100 nbc news learning new details about the moments police arrived sources familiar with what unfolded

00:05:30.160 in the pelosi residence now revealing when officers responded to the high priority call

00:05:35.920 they were seemingly unaware they'd been called to the home of the speaker of the house

00:05:40.580 after a knock and announce the front door was opened by mr pelosi the 82 year old did not

00:05:47.240 immediately declare an emergency or tried to leave his home but instead began walking several feet

00:05:53.560 back into the foyer toward the assailant and away from police it's unclear if the 82 year old was

00:06:00.440 already injured or what his mental state was say sources according to court documents when the

00:06:07.100 officer asked what was going on defendant smiled and said everything's good but instantaneously a

00:06:14.480 struggle ensued as police clearly saw david de pap strike paul pelosi in the head with a hammer

00:06:21.640 after tackling the suspect stop why was that pulled nbc just said because it didn't live up to their

00:06:31.080 high standards of reporting really what was wrong with it well he just got that whole part of the

00:06:40.300 story wrong they didn't even say that they didn't even no no no but that's what they're alluding to

00:06:45.080 they're alluding to they're alluding it didn't read well i don't even know if that's it i think

00:06:48.500 what they're saying maybe is the source they got they don't deem reliable they they don't know if

00:06:56.660 the information is correct but they're not saying it's wrong yeah they're they're not saying that uh

00:07:01.740 so i i i think this is just another uh hunter biden laptop thing this is screwing with the election

00:07:08.260 again um first of all we don't know but we do know that officers said in the affidavit

00:07:17.920 someone opened the door for them okay so we know that and i said to you last week who's the someone

00:07:27.080 that opened the door was there a third person there that's how it was first reported that there

00:07:33.640 were there somebody else opened the door and that didn't make sense and then wait a minute who opened

00:07:41.460 the door then well we find out from this report that paul pelosi opened the door now if you're in

00:07:49.040 trouble you uh stay with the police or you say this man has entered my home instead he opened the door

00:08:00.920 and then went back to the guy and he was holding a hammer and that's when paul pelosi grabbed the

00:08:09.460 hammer and there was a struggle for it now this doesn't make any sense at all something else that

00:08:15.900 doesn't make sense now this could just be the san francisco police are so bad but they had no idea

00:08:22.660 that that house was for the speaker of the house that is absolutely impossible unless the uh the people

00:08:34.300 you know at dispatch didn't tell them but i'll bet you it goes up on their screen there's no way that

00:08:41.280 house you type in that address at the police and it doesn't come up with some sort of red font that

00:08:47.760 says speaker of the house there's no way no way they even kind of tried to do the work of coming up with

00:08:58.460 an excuse for some of this in the report they said well you know we don't know what his mental state

00:09:03.580 was at the time we don't know if he was already injured right like if he got knocked on the head

00:09:07.880 by a hammer a few times who knows how he's acting right like there's they're trying to come up with

00:09:12.620 an excuse in the report and even that wasn't enough for nbc news so here's another part of the story

00:09:18.840 the man accused of breaking into this house speaker nancy pelosi's house and attacking her husband

00:09:24.300 with a hammer could be deported from the u.s after he is released from custody u.s immigration and

00:09:32.400 customs enforcement ice lodged an immigration detainer on the 42 year old canadian national

00:09:39.260 the dhs told nbc in a statement now hang on just a second wait a minute wait a minute he's being

00:09:46.160 deported and is it after he serves time or after he's uh released from custody now those might mean

00:09:57.100 the same thing but are the police gonna release him like they're releasing everyone else well you

00:10:04.360 just come on back just come on back we'll you know just call call us and we'll tell you when to be in

00:10:10.760 court is that is that what's happening this time and how come he's being deported without murdering

00:10:19.460 somebody and it doesn't seem like you can get anyone else to get up on isis radar now there's a story

00:10:28.120 from the new york times how republicans fed a misinformation loop about the pelosi attack

00:10:35.060 the new york times i mentioned in this within hours of the brutal attack last month paul pelosi the

00:10:42.240 husband of the speaker of the house activists and media outlets on the right began circulating

00:10:46.320 groundless claims nearly all of them sinister and many homophobic casting doubt on what had happened

00:10:55.280 okay wait a minute um i'm in this story they say that i was casting doubt on this really because uh

00:11:04.420 i was asking logical questions who opened the door who some republican officials quickly joined in

00:11:14.600 rushing to suggest that the bludgeoning of the uh of the speaker's husband by a suspect obsessed with

00:11:21.520 right-wing conspiracy theories was something else altogether dismissing it as an inside job a lover's

00:11:27.780 quarrel or worse or worse what's worse the misinformation came from all levels of

00:11:34.000 republican politics u.s senator um said this a republican congressman said this uh donald trump said blah blah blah

00:11:44.000 the flood of falsehoods is showed is is showed how ingrained misinformation has become inside the gop

00:11:53.860 where the reflexive response of the rank and file even a few prominent figures to anything that might cast

00:12:02.040 negative light on the right is to deflect it with more fictional claims creating a vicious cycle that

00:12:08.980 muddies facts shifts blame and minimizes violence first of all my first response was if this comes from

00:12:16.820 the left or the right it must be condemned and they must be punished so there is no fictional story

00:12:26.260 there my first response was that and pray for paul pelosi so they go on to say that we have so many falsehoods and

00:12:37.260 it's ingrained in us may i just ask the new york times how many of these stories did you publish

00:12:46.020 did you publish and lead the charge on russian collusion did you publish the neo-nazis are fine people lies 0.51

00:12:58.080 did you publish and stand by jussie smollett how about the bubba wallace garage pull or the covington kids

00:13:08.600 or the governor whitmer kidnapping plot or the kavanaugh rape or the trump p-tape i remember reading all of these

00:13:18.560 all of these sometimes for months in your newspaper or the covid lab leak is just a conspiracy theory or the border

00:13:29.720 agents that were on horses that were whipping migrants or trump saved nuclear secrets at mar-a-lago

00:13:36.600 mar-a-lago the steel dossier did you print the russian bounties on the u.s soldiers in afghanistan

00:13:43.860 or that trump said drinking bleach would fight covid or the muslim travel ban or hunter biden's

00:13:51.060 laptop was just disinformation from russia did you print any of these liberals did you believe any of

00:13:59.180 these how about andrew cuomo was the best in covid leadership or trump build cages

00:14:06.260 for migrant kids or uh trump overfed koi fish in japan build back better will pay for itself

00:14:15.680 the trump tax cuts benefited only the rich cloth masks prevent covid if you get if you get vaccinated

00:14:24.400 you won't catch covid and you won't spread it to others how about the suv killed parade marchers 1.00

00:14:32.940 not the guy behind the wheel but the suv uh trump used tear gas to clear clear a crowd for a bible photo

00:14:41.300 uh that don't say gay was actually in a bill how about the putin price hike did you guys print that

00:14:49.340 or ivermectin is horse dewormer and not for humans uh or the mostly peaceful protests of blm 0.59

00:14:58.620 or i love this one trump overpowered secret service for the wheel of the beast or officer sicknick was

00:15:06.840 murdered by protesters january 6th was a well-planned insurrection or by u students hurled racist insults

00:15:15.860 at duke volleyball player and now we have our democracy is under threat my gosh you're right

00:15:26.860 this disinformation thing is really coming from the right it's a really amazing list it's an amazing

00:15:34.480 list and you know this particular case too what's really frustrating about this is even when you read

00:15:41.740 the new york times story that that mentioned you with no evidence that you did any of the things

00:15:46.240 just just a line that said that you did them right without explaining what you did or how you did wrong

00:15:50.420 yeah but like all even in their story and they're telling of it the the things that they're saying

00:15:56.820 are misinformation like for example the guy was seen in his underwear when he was found right comes

00:16:01.880 from a mainstream media source that was from a fox affiliate yes in the area um and and then you had

00:16:09.940 uh the bigger one which this nbc news uh that thing that we did from the today show you know they're

00:16:17.300 they're saying well look at these conspiracies republicans are spreading well this information

00:16:21.680 came from mainstream sources the today show thing that we played at the beginning of the show

00:16:25.620 is not a flippant off the top of their head comment there are graphics for the quotes for each one of

00:16:32.640 the things he's saying all of these things had to go through an executive producer had to go through

00:16:38.900 edit had to go through art all of it yeah all of it so it's not like something that was said

00:16:45.340 off the cuff right and that's the thing like a local fox affiliate okay they say something they

00:16:50.160 retracted a few hours later maybe you could say that was just a mistake bad source or whatever

00:16:53.820 this was a full-fledged produced nbc news report that aired on the today show that went through 0.54

00:17:02.060 the not right-wing source called nbc news and all of the layers of crap you have to do to get

00:17:08.740 something on the air on that channel i mean this is something that they were sure of until they were

00:17:13.600 told they shouldn't be sure of it i don't are you are you bringing up a new conspiracy theory i guess so

00:17:20.780 this is the best of the glenbeck program

00:17:27.600 you're going to make us feel good no i'm not going to do that for you back now i'm going to give you

00:17:38.880 only bad news okay you have been working on this in case you don't know stew is really good at making

00:17:45.680 these calls um the last election he's one of the only guys that got the electoral college

00:17:51.760 account exactly right 306 232 um and i hated him for that um but he he doesn't just go by the polls he

00:18:01.700 looks at a million uh different things and then makes a uh makes a call on it and today tonight

00:18:09.060 on stew does america you're making the official final call because you haven't finished everything

00:18:12.860 that's right i'm going to be finishing it up today and then we're going to do it on the show tonight

00:18:16.140 youtube.com slash stew does america blaze tv.com slash midterms you can use the code red wave if you

00:18:22.360 want to get access and we're going to be able to if he makes us feel good today and he gets any of

00:18:28.380 them wrong you make sure you tune into blaze tv tomorrow where we crucify uh stew we thought we'd

00:18:34.680 bring something back you know what i mean crucifixion yeah crucifixion and i think the tuesday before the

00:18:39.400 results comes out a really interesting time to punish me for getting the calls wrong yeah we're

00:18:44.180 going to do it tomorrow yeah tomorrow night tomorrow night on our election yeah got it okay

00:18:49.140 we wouldn't do it off the air okay i want to make sure we understand and our election coverage by the

00:18:53.720 way going to go late into the evening up to uh at least midnight eastern and then over to the youtube.com

00:19:01.260 slash stew does america page for coverage into the wee hours of the morning as long as i can last

00:19:06.640 well that's going to join us they're all going to take a nap you know this is when we know we're in

00:19:10.960 trouble is when pennsylvania says you know what we're going to come back tomorrow and just count and that

00:19:17.760 is an important part of this it's going to happen it it is literally now they are saying that they're

00:19:23.900 not going to take a nap so i don't want to say that but it's literally in the state law that we're

00:19:29.580 going to have the same feel that you had during the 2020 election state law designates the way these

00:19:35.760 votes are counted and what you're going to get on election night is likely a large lead for us that

00:19:43.260 will start to be chipped away as we go into the late hours of the evening will we see it come all

00:19:48.480 the way back i don't know but the way the law the way these votes are counted it's it's the early vote

00:19:54.400 comes last right they don't the ballots any of the early vote at all they don't do any work

00:20:01.180 tabulating it in pennsylvania right in pennsylvania and every state is different in fact if you remember

00:20:06.780 from 2020 the reverse happened in arizona where uh trump was way way way behind enough for fox to

00:20:14.980 famously call the state and they kept then trump kept chipping away and got it to within what was

00:20:19.700 it 11 000 votes right florida is the gold standard on this stuff florida has it all tabulated you get

00:20:27.440 the results nice and early in florida so that's what i always look to is if you want to look for a

00:20:31.840 an election that's going to give you a really early picture of what is actually going to be the

00:20:36.660 final count florida does it much better than most of these other states okay so that's the kind of

00:20:41.480 picture of across the country there was a little sunbeam of happiness no i'm just i don't want to

00:20:45.320 prepare people no i know you're just reminding us of what we the hell we went yes i do remember the

00:20:50.160 and you're just reminding everybody it's going to be hell again tomorrow night yes you should expect

00:20:54.720 hell is exactly what i'm trying to tell you so expect the hell all right tell me give me some 0.58

00:21:01.320 good news some good news yeah okay several states that were considered long-term toss-up races

00:21:09.080 several races in the senate in particular that have i think been considered toss-ups the entire

00:21:16.020 election cycle really have moved in my mind to lean republican to races that i'm relatively confident

00:21:24.300 will wind up this way and i kind of want to test you on this glenn a little bit you've been for

00:21:29.320 example very freaked out by the mike lee yeah election you've been very panicked on and off

00:21:34.880 the air about the mike lee election yes yes and i share because i i lose all confidence all confidence

00:21:42.400 in the united states in the united states of america all of it all of it yes let go of mike lee for a cia

00:21:50.080 spy named after a breakfast food yeah i'm gonna yes it's all confident i understand so uh that race

00:21:57.340 i think now is i feel confident that lee is going to win that race um good so that that's one but i

00:22:04.520 don't even think that one is even i'm talking more about ohio ohio has been a pure toss-up for most of

00:22:09.500 the campaign cycle with jd vance against tim ryan there's still polls that show it relatively close

00:22:14.720 but i think that's a lean republican race now i think north carolina falls wait wait so are you

00:22:20.020 going to call that i mean i i i am going to finish my all of my work here today before the big uh show

00:22:26.640 tonight on studios america but yes i think i'm going to i'm i mean i'm going to put ohio in the

00:22:31.780 republican category that is where i am with that race north carolina is kind of the same thing

00:22:35.480 north carolina has been a very tight race you know we were told it's a toss-up the entire time i think

00:22:40.180 if you go back to the summer you look at that and say it was a pretty close to a pure toss-up race

00:22:45.560 at least as far as the polling goes i think north carolina now favors republicans tell me in the

00:22:50.700 senate tell me the races where it would be a pickup well yeah but before i move on from this point oh

00:22:56.760 boy any one of these races glenn if i were to say to you hey i do believe the republicans lost north

00:23:01.980 carolina i don't think anyone in the audience would be like oh my gosh it's the most stunning result

00:23:07.520 of all time you know if ron desantis loses tomorrow i'm going to be stunned right that

00:23:12.040 will be i will legitimately be correct stunned but like a race at this race in north carolina

00:23:18.280 or jd vance in in ohio it wouldn't be completely stunning if either one of them lost i i think

00:23:24.880 there's a clear favorite right but not completely stunning these are races though that even if you

00:23:30.400 win all of them only gets you to 48 seats so to give you a picture of where this is if you win

00:23:36.300 ohio if you win north carolina if you win florida with marco rubio which is another one i put in

00:23:41.340 this category hey sarah if you win utah sarah later you want to i'm trying to set bring some

00:23:46.900 booze in and while he's doing this again later um want to play some russian roulette okay go ahead

00:23:52.800 by the way you don't have to tell sarah to bring booze to work she's all right there's multiple storage

00:23:58.520 rooms it explains a lot it does okay so you win all these races that we're talking about that are

00:24:04.040 leaners you're at 48 races right so now you have a big set in the middle you got to pick off three

00:24:09.160 of these again would you have full confidence in any of them i'm 100 sure the republicans going to

00:24:16.160 win let me list them for you arizona blake masters 100 sure no right of course not it's a split that's

00:24:23.180 a very good toss-up race colorado is a reach warnock in uh in georgia versus herschel walker

00:24:31.020 100 confident no no right uh hassan versus boldock in new hampshire you're not going to be confident

00:24:37.140 in boldock boldock's been behind in most of the polls there though so but i will say in a lot of

00:24:42.400 movement all of these are so close so it's going to come down to who gets their people to the polls

00:24:50.060 cortez masto gets laxalt in nevada again another tight race again maybe leaning republican but

00:24:57.140 but it's an incumbent a democratic incumbent in nevada you're killing me washington patty murray

00:25:02.980 uh versus tiffany smiling that one will be reach that's a reach that i mean she could do it she's

00:25:09.180 close enough to do it it's red wave character category that's such a shot if she wins uh and 1.00

00:25:16.300 desantis you know wins by 14 points those are earth shaking moves yes those are huge huge huge

00:25:25.780 uh pennsylvania now look fetterman oz i it's hard to imagine anyone going to the polls and casting a

00:25:33.240 vote for john fetterman does anybody remember the snl uh where uh what was his name uh he did the famous

00:25:41.320 line he was running against george bush he was playing michael john lovitz john lovitz when he

00:25:46.480 said i can't believe i'm losing to this guy i think of that all the time yes with almost every race

00:25:53.460 i can't believe i'm losing to this guy we are in that category yeah now but again fetterman oz all

00:25:58.280 the polling's been very close there's been you can find evidence on either my gosh she's got she

00:26:02.580 actually has large bottles of booze is that i mean it's a full bottle of gray goose and it's cold look at

00:26:10.580 that it's sweating because he just i mean i should say it's a full bottle except for her morning shots

00:26:16.360 which seem to be yeah all right anyway go ahead by the way affiliates if you're ever wondering hey

00:26:20.740 why did that commercial why did four commercials air at the same time it it's because of the morning

00:26:26.500 shots uh so there you go you get a little older we're gonna just start calling you the gray goose

00:26:31.140 there you go all right that's a good nickname um okay so uh pennsylvania fetterman oz again would

00:26:37.900 you be completely stunned if fetterman won that race at this point no it would be stunning i'm in

00:26:42.240 the same place you're at with mike lee with the fetterman oz race like i i'm not that i'm a huge

00:26:48.440 oz guy by any means but it's like how on earth can a country can a civilization exist that that thinks

00:26:57.540 john fetterman should have a job of any prominence i i'm that way in several states yes in in arizona

00:27:05.880 really the guy who's voted 95 yeah mark kelly with joe biden is in lockstep all the way all the

00:27:14.660 way it's never been even rumored to be opposing any of the bills everybody in america no one knows who

00:27:21.360 the space guy is okay he was in space for a very long time nobody even knows his name because

00:27:30.060 he's never stood up against anything it's totally true he's trying to portray himself as the other

00:27:37.920 senator yeah from arizona who happens to be a female and who's actually stood up a few times right and 1.00

00:27:43.280 taken some stances right uh anyway kelly is never even rumored he's they're never even like what about

00:27:49.520 mark kelly they never even ask they don't even go to his office and say are you gonna vote for this

00:27:53.600 biden bill they always know he will i know every time um and then you've got uh ron johnson in

00:27:59.480 wisconsin against mandela barnes again johnson i think has a lead there it's not an incredibly large

00:28:06.960 lead we know these things right how right so what would you would you be completely stunned if

00:28:13.600 wisconsin unless elected a democrat probably not so again you got to win three of those uh i guess

00:28:19.900 that's eight races two of them i think are in a different category sort of reach races uh wave

00:28:25.340 type races so that brings us down to six six so you got to win half of these and i think you'd look

00:28:29.340 at some of these and say okay republican might be favorite but i would not be shocked so this is what

00:28:34.200 i the only thing i want to portray to people is so this is not a sure thing if you're walking into

00:28:39.080 this tomorrow night and saying thinking hey uh complete red wave this is going to be the easiest thing

00:28:44.320 in the world you have to understand that it's not it really isn't this is a close race and while

00:28:52.400 republicans very well might win it make sure you go vote now make sure you get i will tell you if

00:28:59.040 that's the way the evening ends up how many if we win three of those you're at 51 oh 50 that's just

00:29:05.020 control i'm talking about oh my gosh that's not enough to stop anything so those races i just listed

00:29:10.300 you got to sweep all of them to get to the red wave category that you've heard your mouth 54 55 56

00:29:17.120 your mouth you know what i'm a recovering alcoholic but tomorrow i may convince i could be easily

00:29:24.860 convinced i'm over that i'm cured i'm cured i may need a stiff drink if this happens i think maybe this 0.98

00:29:33.680 would be an interesting way of getting some new subscribers jerk watch watch the watch the

00:29:40.540 election it could be a full-fledged meltdown it's going to be a party one way or another pity party

00:29:46.140 or a party party uh either way i'm at it so it's not a great party unless it's a pity party i'm really

00:29:54.040 good at bringing i'll make you cry i'll make you cry sure sure uh that'll be uh tomorrow tomorrow our

00:30:00.880 election coverage blaze tv.com slash midterms use the promo code redway for 30 bucks off and if the

00:30:06.800 republicans lose you may see glenn start drinking again or and sarah continue drinking or may i just

00:30:12.340 say may i just say i'm bringing nails somebody might be crucified wow yeah just saying wow i don't i

00:30:22.420 don't think that oh it's felt like a threat oh it was felt like it was fine for the lord but you

00:30:28.320 are above it okay this is the best of the glenn beck program

00:30:35.280 if you remember right towards the beginning of um covid there was a hairdresser in uh dallas

00:30:50.720 that had to close her shop and she was harassed by the police but it all really came down to uh the

00:30:59.700 county judge uh and his name was clay jenkins and uh clay seems to be on a little bit of a power trip

00:31:09.260 or that's how it struck me um and somebody is taking him on in this election now in texas the county

00:31:19.740 judge is not a judge it's you're not a judge you're just like the ceo of the county um but i think he

00:31:25.980 likes to pretend that he's a judge the person running uh against is lauren davis she's running

00:31:34.280 for his uh job and uh and doing quite well doing quite well how are you i'm good i'm good thank you

00:31:42.780 so much for having me this is definitely a dream come true really being on the show it really is

00:31:48.640 you got to reach higher than that this is it this is back from the fox days with the whiteboard wow

00:31:55.960 wow wow so um why are you running against him well two reasons to sum it up one was i'm a small

00:32:03.260 business owner with my husband we own barbershops called the gents place we opened our first one when

00:32:08.140 we were 25 in frisco texas now we have them across the country and that's crazy i just drove by one

00:32:14.380 the other day i thought you should get my hair cut there yeah well it's a great place i must say

00:32:18.940 um and so in frisco texas of all places we had the police show up to um our shop and say close your

00:32:25.720 doors um in 10 minutes or we're taking your business license so we did we complied and i just

00:32:33.580 never felt that level of helplessness in my life i've been through a lot of things i'm 38 years old

00:32:38.420 i've lived a lot of life but i've never felt helpless so it was step one and then two you fast

00:32:43.880 forward two years this exact time last year and clay jenkins defied governor abbott's ga 38 saying

00:32:50.520 no more mask mandates in public school right my three kids are in public school in dallas isd

00:32:56.740 and so in that time period i woke up i listened to your program i bought my first constitution i

00:33:03.800 bought the federalist papers i started i downloaded hill sale classes i mean i just said i must

00:33:09.440 understand what happened to us um i also took your advice and said do your own research so i started

00:33:15.480 making the kids watch world war ii documentaries they sought for themselves and we sat down as a

00:33:20.780 family or a family of five and said if this was world war ii who would we be who who is good for

00:33:26.980 you who is the davis family right and we said if a jewish family knocked on our door we would not 1.00

00:33:31.420 self-preserve we would open the door at all costs right and i did not know what i was preparing us for

00:33:38.000 i just knew as you say i was going to have to take a stand and if we weren't prepared we'd miss the

00:33:43.380 opportunity and and so when the school year started two out of three of my kids so my daughter

00:33:49.920 caroline she was 11 at the time and my son pierce was 13 so their eighth grade and fifth grade showed

00:33:55.080 up to their public school with no mask and there are only two out of 604 kids to show up so that

00:34:02.620 turned into a 12-week battle where the school didn't try to accommodate us they tried to crush us they

00:34:08.860 literally made us a political enemy they coned caroline off in pe class literally behind an arbitrary 1.00

00:34:14.880 line of cones and she had to watch all of her mass classmates play in front of her

00:34:18.900 they put cones around her yes oh my gosh now it gets worse oh my gosh it gets so much worse so

00:34:27.120 then the second week they removed them from class they isolated them in the library they eventually

00:34:32.800 built a plexiglass cage around them and i don't use that lightly floor-to-ceiling plexiglass in a

00:34:39.080 small corner of the library hired a substitute teacher to stand guard out there and tell him to

00:34:42.940 be quiet and sit down they couldn't even go to the cafeteria where all the other kids were unmasked

00:34:47.660 oh my gosh in dallas texas we wow and that's just the brief we'd be here all day if i told you

00:34:56.720 every detail but they treated us like we were genuinely a political enemy so i saw what you

00:35:02.200 talk about yeah i saw the underbelly beast we lost all of our friends my most best friend like someone

00:35:08.040 you volunteer a vacation with yeah yeah went through life with her she turned on me and became my biggest 1.00

00:35:13.340 enemy you're kidding no no these are teachers that loved us we weren't new to the school we've been

00:35:19.040 in that school since my son had been in first grade these are people who knew my heart knew we have a

00:35:24.540 non-profit where we support veterans and i do a monthly pop-up barbershop at austin street center

00:35:28.920 homeless shelter some of the work we do they know me they know i'm a great person and they still turned

00:35:35.360 on me no one would even sit next to us in the bleachers at a soccer game you're kidding no oh my

00:35:41.180 gosh so i said in that process and advocating for the kids um we eventually had to pull them out there

00:35:47.840 was teachers conspiring to get my son sent to alternative school um it was complete insanity we

00:35:53.460 could not keep them safe so i had to homeschool him for the back half of last year and um i had a

00:35:59.260 friend my my friend ann stone she runs a local activist group called deplorables it's awesome

00:36:04.760 she's a bunch of grandma and grandpa's just getting together like where is the world going right

00:36:08.520 and um i went and spoke there and it made me feel not alone because you it's very isolating when you

00:36:15.000 find yourself being the only one taking a stand and i know you know that and um she came to me one

00:36:21.040 day and she goes i don't know why i'm telling you this or asking you this but have you ever thought

00:36:24.520 about running for county judge and i said no that sounds crazy i'm not a politician i'm just a mom

00:36:31.200 of three small business owner no political aspirations no experience i didn't even start

00:36:37.100 voting until 2016 and 2020 wow i've never even voted in a midterm this is my first midterm to vote in

00:36:44.380 the first sign in my yard was my face which was which was crazy why why so late you just

00:36:53.040 she told me that it was a conviction in my heart and then in the primary you'll find this really

00:36:58.760 funny the person who stood up to say i'll run against clay jenkins was the dallas isd school

00:37:03.860 board trustee that was over my kids school oh my gosh god literally i'm extremely faithful person

00:37:09.460 yeah god literally put the only person on the planet that i was i would know was a fake phony

00:37:14.440 and so i tell people when god convicts your heart and you look to the right and you look to the left

00:37:19.340 and you're the only one standing it's you yeah he picked you yeah and so i genuinely feel picked

00:37:25.280 and my husband and i we talked and he pushed back on me and i said you're not supporting me

00:37:30.900 what kind of husband are you probably a good husband a great husband we've been together since

00:37:36.380 we were 16 oh wow good for you yes and um and he goes i haven't heard you say yes and i said certainly

00:37:44.320 i've said yes i want to do this and he goes nope and i was like oh man that's like a shot to the gut

00:37:49.800 you know when truth hits you it hits you and i said well yes yes i want to do this and i swear to you

00:37:56.460 we felt the holy spirit head to toe and he said then let's go let's do it let's crush the machine

00:38:02.140 and we mobilized a 69 victory over the establishment person in eight weeks i filed on the last day in the

00:38:11.060 primary wow unheard of wow people no one knew my name december 12th so how is it going now because

00:38:21.020 clay's quite well known yes uh and he is big time establishment and you know had had big plans from

00:38:31.340 from here yeah he's been in there 12 years um which is outrageous and you know i think this is

00:38:37.660 truly where the grassroots becomes mainstream people are sick and tired i'm tired i need me to

00:38:44.320 win as much as everyone else needs me to win my kids need me to win right you know there's there's

00:38:48.980 no other choice and people say you know in politics they keep hearing this such a loser mindset if anyone

00:38:54.760 started their entrepreneurial journey in the political mindset we wouldn't have any businesses

00:38:58.780 they're like uh what's my roi on my you know investment in your campaign i don't think you

00:39:04.880 can win i had people tell me oh this is a uphill battle and i said it's a hill worth climbing yeah

00:39:12.340 people said oh it's going to be a miracle i said thank you that's how i know yeah this is it it's

00:39:17.080 because it is going to be a miracle if i got into this because someone said it was going to be easy

00:39:20.780 or a guaranteed win there would have been a line out the door to take this guy on oh this is going to be

00:39:26.740 a miracle but we all know it's the time of miracles yeah i've heard you say that over and over it is

00:39:32.260 we're going to see we're going to see moses style miracles in our lifetime in our lifetime we will see

00:39:38.840 them and i believe that's what's happening in dallas county i mean we have activated moms mama bears

00:39:45.720 i say i'm a happy warrior that's a trademark thing i put in my campaign because people kept saying oh

00:39:50.600 you're angry i was like i'm not i can get angry but i i am not angry i don't attach my i am statement

00:39:57.800 to things that don't serve christ and i said i am a happy warrior moms are coming off from the pta

00:40:07.300 they're coming off the couch they're coming out of the door they are rallying huge in dallas county

00:40:14.660 yeah that is great i i don't know if how long you've listened to me but a long time ago back

00:40:21.800 probably 2008 or 9 i said the most powerful thing anyone can say in politics and i said it because

00:40:30.640 somebody called me up and said uh i i'm just a mom and as a mom i think and i said stop the most

00:40:41.840 powerful thing you can say is as a mom you know stop dismissing that because when moms stand up

00:40:52.120 nobody messes with moms and i think that's why this whole thing is turning around they overstepped

00:40:59.020 the boundary and they walked into mom's world and they started messing with our kids the minute you 0.98

00:41:06.560 mess with our kids moms don't sit down they don't no and that's exactly what describes my conviction 0.96

00:41:14.980 because another part of it is the politicization of the medical community all of these mandates my son

00:41:21.420 that's sitting here with us in the studio out there he has survived three open heart surgeries holy he has

00:41:28.560 more to come too it took 12 hours of open heart surgery at five days old i saw the inside of his chest

00:41:35.880 beat they left his chest open for three days he was so swollen they couldn't sew him up 12 hours of

00:41:41.520 bypass so i equate what's happening to a politician you know forcing his way into that operating room

00:41:51.560 and standing over the shoulder of the surgeon and saying oh do this do that do this don't can't do

00:41:56.920 that do this oh and make sure you inject them i i will lay my life in front of that i will not let 0.53

00:42:05.780 it happen i will not allow these mandates to affect my kids and the masking's one you know the vax is

00:42:12.200 another it's just it's the whole politicization of the medical community is dangerous it will kill

00:42:17.660 more people than covet ever could dream of killing and i i won't put up with it god bless you i wish i

00:42:24.800 lived in the county that i could vote for you uh lauren davis she is running for dallas county judge 0.92

00:42:30.920 she's the candidate there if you would like to know more about her or help uh davis for the number

00:42:38.920 for dallas davis for dallas.com thank you thank you so much this is awesome yeah that's great thank you

00:42:46.220 i want to talk to you on wednesday after you win

00:42:49.220 you
