The Glenn Beck Program - Best of the Program ｜ Guest： Lori Brock ｜ 5⧸8⧸23

00:00:00.380 Well, I think we solved all the world's problems today. Yeah, all set now. Yeah, we we had Ken Paxton on today's podcast.

00:00:10.100 Holy cow. Was there news being broken there? At least I think. I don't know if the news will report it other than to make him look like a terrorist or whatever.

00:00:19.960 But he talked about the shooting in here in Texas over the weekend at that mall. And the FBI, the big story out today from the mainstream media is that, oh, they're looking in because he's a white, white supremacist. 0.94

00:00:36.460 But he's a Hispanic. How could he be a white? Unless they've opened up the roles, you know, a little broader. 0.99

00:00:45.480 And we talked to Ken Paxton about that. And you won't believe what he had to say about what he has heard.

00:00:53.020 You don't want to miss that. Also, we talked to him about immigration.

00:00:56.700 This week is going to be a very, very big week for immigration in a bad way, assuming that you're not. 1.00

00:01:06.460 And his poll numbers, he says, well, every president that runs for a second term, their numbers are like that.

00:01:19.580 No, they're not. Did he have the lowest numbers of all time?

00:01:23.260 I mean, he's in the area of Jimmy Carter and, you know, there's anyone else he was close to Carter for sure.

00:01:32.420 But again, Carter didn't win. That's how far away is he from Trump's?

00:01:37.460 Rating. You're asking me to pull this up and I've already closed that tab for the day.

00:01:41.920 But it wasn't it wasn't that low. Carter didn't win. And Trump didn't win.

00:01:46.620 So you don't want to compare yourself to either of those if you're Biden.

00:01:49.900 But yeah, he was not really close to any of them. And some of them he was 50.

00:01:53.620 He's 50 and 60 points behind where they were. It's amazing.

00:01:57.380 All right. Lots of great stuff coming up on today's show brought to you by your mother.

00:02:03.560 Your mom cried the first day you went to school. She made you your favorite meal on your birthday.

00:02:10.580 She made my mom made me spaghetti. It was my favorite meal. It was like my eighth birthday.

00:02:15.420 And I ate and I ate. And then I felt kind of challenged because I asked her to make a lot.

00:02:21.780 And she did. And nobody ate a lot. And so I kind of felt bad that I asked her to make a lot.

00:02:27.880 So I ate a lot. And she was like, stop, because that's going to come back up at you. 0.99

00:02:33.720 And I'm like, no, mom, I love spaghetti. I love biscetti. It's so good.

00:02:41.500 And it came back up on me. Sorry, mom.

00:02:44.120 Anyway, American Giant is about goodness.

00:02:47.520 The goodness that comes from hard days work, honesty, integrity, decency, everything that America should be.

00:02:54.380 They work hard just like your mom works hard. 1.00

00:02:58.540 Let your mom know she's an American Giant to you. 1.00

00:03:01.980 I want you to go to American-Giant.com slash Glenn and look at some of the great clothing that they have for spring and summer.

00:03:10.460 Cotton that's grown right here in America.

00:03:12.800 Milled, cut, sewn right here.

00:03:15.100 Buy American today.

00:03:16.420 American-Giant.com slash Glenn.

00:03:19.480 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:03:33.800 Okay, I'm not an attorney, but I am a doctor and a thinker.

00:03:38.020 So I would like to ask Pat Gray from Pat Gray Unleashed, Stu Bregeer from this show and also Stu Does America.

00:03:48.640 Every night, 8 p.m., Blaze TV.

00:03:52.500 Wow, you didn't give it the time of my show.

00:03:55.400 That seemed unfair to me.

00:03:58.100 Unequal.

00:03:59.080 You know what?

00:04:00.280 You might be...

00:04:01.400 Are you white?

00:04:03.040 Yes.

00:04:03.460 Okay.

00:04:04.220 There's got to be something.

00:04:05.360 That was the deal. 0.98

00:04:06.160 He doesn't like white people.

00:04:08.280 So I thought, and now I no longer do, the three of us make up one decent mind.

00:04:14.440 Yeah.

00:04:14.840 So here's the question.

00:04:18.480 Oversight Chairman James Comer said Sunday that Republicans are planning a press conference for the middle of the week

00:04:25.220 that would cover alleged misconduct beyond charges for tax and gun-related crimes

00:04:31.020 that federal prosecutors are reportedly considering against President Joe Biden's son.

00:04:37.280 My message to the Department of Justice is loud and clear.

00:04:40.320 Do not indict Hunter Biden before Wednesday.

00:04:45.900 For the life of me, I can't figure out why.

00:04:49.840 I mean, I guess they're saying they're going to bring additional information.

00:04:53.100 Yeah, but why not indict him on that?

00:04:55.420 And then also, you know, when he presents the information, also indict him on something else.

00:05:00.840 You can't have more than one indictment?

00:05:03.200 I'm a little confused on why he would be indicted at all.

00:05:06.720 We just heard from his dad.

00:05:08.300 Yeah, true.

00:05:09.080 That he didn't do anything wrong.

00:05:11.920 Leave him alone.

00:05:13.020 Yeah.

00:05:13.400 Yeah.

00:05:13.620 My son has done nothing wrong.

00:05:17.400 And does this affect your presidency?

00:05:20.240 Yes.

00:05:20.660 First of all, my son has done nothing wrong.

00:05:22.460 I trust him.

00:05:23.160 I have faith in him.

00:05:24.500 And it impacts my presidency by making me feel proud of him.

00:05:29.980 What?

00:05:30.680 Oh, man.

00:05:31.460 That's what he said.

00:05:32.300 Yeah.

00:05:32.760 That doesn't make any sense.

00:05:34.000 Why?

00:05:34.200 What do you mean?

00:05:34.700 It impacts his presidency by him being proud of making him feel proud of him.

00:05:39.740 And like, look, you could say a lot of things about Hunter Biden.

00:05:42.020 Like, I don't know what the left wing defense.

00:05:44.240 I can't find a real defense as to what he's done.

00:05:47.260 But like, if a person who hooked up with a stripper and gave you a grandchild out of wedlock

00:05:54.700 that he's now ignoring.

00:05:55.980 Openly doing cocaine. 0.99

00:05:57.420 Opening, doing, with hookers. 1.00

00:05:59.500 On video. 0.99

00:05:59.880 Multiple times.

00:06:00.700 What do you mean he's done nothing wrong?

00:06:02.580 Right.

00:06:02.760 Like, I can understand you might think he's being also politically persecuted, right?

00:06:06.580 Because you think, oh, right wingers are after me or whatever.

00:06:09.440 But like, he clearly has done a lot of things wrong.

00:06:12.160 Yeah.

00:06:12.440 He wrote a whole book about it.

00:06:14.660 No, he's done nothing wrong.

00:06:16.160 Really?

00:06:16.380 He's done nothing wrong.

00:06:17.180 Yeah, I mean, openly smoking crack, you know, weighing crack on your little scale.

00:06:23.640 Yeah, texting people racial, all sorts of attacks and slurs in, you know, referring to Asian as quote unquote yellows. 0.95

00:06:34.440 Don't send me any yellows when he was requesting hookers. 1.00

00:06:38.100 Wow.

00:06:38.700 I mean, like, there's just, there's a lot of stuff you could say he's done wrong.

00:06:42.100 I mean, you might still say that you think Republicans are being too tough on it, but like, it's hard to deny that the wrongdoing is there.

00:06:51.380 Yeah.

00:06:51.580 Well, not if you're Joe Biden, and he was a perfect father, you know, just shower with your kids from time to time.

00:06:58.440 Anyway, now, while Hunter is having problem, so is his best friend, Devin Archer.

00:07:08.320 His last bid to avoid jail is tomorrow, and his appeal is being heard in a courtroom in Manhattan.

00:07:18.200 Now, his attorneys and his friends, apparently, are telling Archer to accept that the Bidens have thrown him under the bus and that a presidential pardon is just not going to happen.

00:07:34.040 And they've urged him to save himself by using the only currency that he has, and that is, I was there.

00:07:43.500 I saw it all.

00:07:45.060 And yeah, there is something wrong.

00:07:48.200 Okay.

00:07:49.340 Apparently, he was holding out, but the case on Tuesday, you have the appointment of Judge Sullivan, Richard Sullivan.

00:08:02.400 It's a three-judge panel in the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, and that's kind of bad because Judge Sullivan is actually a Trump appointee, not an Obama appointee.

00:08:15.540 So, this guy might be less amenable to bribery or whatever else is going on in this thing.

00:08:27.620 So, now you have Archer and Devin Archer may come out and spill the beans on Hunter Biden and Joe Biden and verifying, again, along with another witness, that this was money that was going right to Joe Biden.

00:08:47.840 It's bad.

00:08:49.840 It's going to be a good week, maybe.

00:08:53.660 You think something will come of it this time?

00:08:55.900 I'm a little skeptical on that.

00:08:58.400 I'm hopeful.

00:09:00.500 But are the Republicans strong enough to really track this thing down and keep it up?

00:09:06.380 We'll see.

00:09:07.380 I mean, they have some limitations on their power to do that, but still, I mean, at least they are pursuing it, it seems.

00:09:14.440 Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute.

00:09:18.580 That's why he doesn't want them to indict.

00:09:21.400 I think I just figured it out.

00:09:22.700 Okay.

00:09:23.100 Okay?

00:09:23.800 He doesn't want them to indict because if he indicts, they'll say, we've already indicted him.

00:09:30.620 But if he hasn't indicted yet, and then they indict him for these things, or for the, you know, just the tax evasion and the gun thing, then the government can say, the Republicans can say, what, all of this evidence means nothing to you?

00:09:48.680 You had a chance to see it before you had the indictment.

00:09:52.960 I think that's why.

00:09:54.260 Hmm.

00:09:55.160 Just a little perception game.

00:09:58.040 Yeah, because you could definitely see the media saying, look, they've already indicted him.

00:10:02.000 Why are they still coming after him?

00:10:03.860 You could see that sort of.

00:10:05.140 Well, you would imagine, I mean, if this was, just think of this.

00:10:11.900 Just the gun charge should put him in jail, in prison for a fairly long time.

00:10:19.300 I mean, that's a felony, what he did.

00:10:24.360 And it would put you in jail, me in jail.

00:10:27.840 Anybody is listening.

00:10:28.900 No doubt about it.

00:10:29.620 We'd be in jail for a very, very long time.

00:10:33.100 And they're not seemingly even taking that seriously.

00:10:36.800 And I thought the left loved gun control.

00:10:38.580 I thought so, too.

00:10:39.320 I mean, like, this is one thing the left loves to do, is they love to pass new laws about guns, but then not actually enforce the ones that already exist.

00:10:47.780 This one's pretty clear.

00:10:49.220 It's one that I think most of the country already agrees with.

00:10:51.800 It's common sense gun reform, or a common sense gun law.

00:10:55.840 We don't need to reform it.

00:10:56.600 It already exists.

00:10:57.920 You know, you can't break those laws.

00:10:59.800 And if you do, you get in trouble for it.

00:11:01.880 That's at least how I feel like everyone else has to live.

00:11:05.120 Mm-hmm.

00:11:05.840 I don't understand.

00:11:06.620 Unless you live in an inner city where you can get arrested 40 times and then go on a subway and harass people and everyone's going to be on your side.

00:11:13.540 I don't know.

00:11:14.440 Oh, by the way, I think it would be funny to prove that out.

00:11:17.660 You should go up to New York and get arrested 40 times.

00:11:21.820 Do you think they'd let me, do you think I'd get arrested 40 times, Glenn, or do you think after one or two?

00:11:25.900 I think after one or two, I'd never hear from you again.

00:11:28.560 And that's honestly, like, kind of the way it should be, right?

00:11:31.680 You know, I mean, you can go too far, perhaps, on some of these things.

00:11:35.740 But, like, there should be no person in America who's been arrested 40 times.

00:11:41.620 That shouldn't be a thing.

00:11:43.060 Well, not in running around.

00:11:45.160 Right.

00:11:45.620 Loose in society.

00:11:46.380 But, like, you shouldn't get to 36, right?

00:11:48.360 No, you shouldn't.

00:11:48.780 There's no 37 because you're in prison already.

00:11:51.660 Right.

00:11:52.060 What is the number?

00:11:52.660 Like the guy who was deported five times and then comes back again.

00:11:56.740 It used to be three strikes, you're out.

00:11:58.900 Right.

00:11:59.260 And then that's been viewed as this hateful policy.

00:12:01.820 Three strikes and you're out.

00:12:02.760 I mean, look, that seems reasonable to me.

00:12:05.160 But when you want to make it five strikes and you're out, you want to change it.

00:12:08.660 I mean, they're putting ghost runners at second base in baseball.

00:12:11.080 I guess we can change the rules however we want.

00:12:14.000 That's a joke for people who actually watch baseball, Glenn.

00:12:16.320 But still, it's like, it's something where you think, okay, you want to make,

00:12:20.280 there's some reasonable expectation that you're not constantly having run-ins

00:12:23.520 with the police.

00:12:24.580 Like, that is just, that's a basic thing.

00:12:27.820 You don't, you shouldn't be getting arrested this many times.

00:12:30.540 There shouldn't be an opportunity to do, to complete a mass shooting after

00:12:34.460 you've been deported five times.

00:12:36.020 It should not be a thing because after one, the next time you don't get

00:12:40.280 deported again so you can walk back over the border again.

00:12:43.100 You're put in prison.

00:12:44.380 Isn't it amazing that the guy who shot a bunch of people, what, two weekends

00:12:49.220 ago, who had been deported five times, that story just kind of went away.

00:12:55.000 Comes and goes.

00:12:55.660 Comes and goes.

00:12:56.460 No, no big deal.

00:12:57.860 And yet, the guy who's a Hispanic, they are busy trying to make in to a white 1.00

00:13:04.400 supremacist.

00:13:05.900 Yeah.

00:13:06.480 I mean, it's amazing.

00:13:08.180 Yeah, it is.

00:13:08.600 It's just amazing.

00:13:09.420 And on the week where our border is just going to be overrun, I mean, you cannot

00:13:16.780 keep a culture.

00:13:17.780 Our culture will be over soon.

00:13:21.720 You can't keep an American culture with a country that doesn't know its own 1.00

00:13:28.500 history, has no regard for the law whatsoever, and you're bringing people in from all 0.99

00:13:36.100 over the world in this kind of number and just dumping them into society.

00:13:42.660 You don't survive as a nation.

00:13:46.300 They're going to be praying for the country to be talking about Hunter Biden's indictment,

00:13:50.260 honestly.

00:13:51.280 You know, because that's going to be much, this border situation is a massive national

00:13:56.640 crisis that could happen.

00:13:58.940 It's supposed to happen Thursday.

00:14:00.200 I mean, like.

00:14:00.680 Yeah, this could be the biggest crisis of my lifetime for the nation.

00:14:05.500 And they keep saying this, like, we've had a year to prepare.

00:14:08.540 Yeah, you have.

00:14:09.520 You've had more than a year to prepare.

00:14:11.000 What are you going to do with that preparation?

00:14:13.520 I can't believe they're even saying that.

00:14:16.720 Well, they're sending 1,500 troops down there to be stenographers and secretaries.

00:14:20.620 Oh, that's good.

00:14:21.100 So that'll be good.

00:14:22.380 They can write down all the crimes.

00:14:23.240 They can write down all the stuff of the numbers of people flooding across the border.

00:14:27.980 That'll be good.

00:14:28.800 Wow.

00:14:29.280 Yeah.

00:14:30.200 Can we get AI to do that and then maybe let the people?

00:14:33.860 No.

00:14:34.880 No?

00:14:35.260 No.

00:14:35.940 Okay.

00:14:36.060 What if we send them with an abacus and they just kind of.

00:14:38.880 No, it's got to be the military and they have to have a pen in their hand and they have to write it by hand.

00:14:46.900 The pen is higher than the sword, Pat.

00:14:48.520 By the way, I don't know if this has anything to do with any of this, but Biden's overall approval rating, kind of low.

00:14:59.020 Yeah, but that's according to the right wing publication, the Washington Post.

00:15:02.820 You're right.

00:15:03.600 You're right.

00:15:04.120 Yeah.

00:15:04.260 Who is better at handling the economy?

00:15:06.580 Fifty four percent said President Trump.

00:15:09.360 Thirty six said Biden.

00:15:13.000 The overall approval rating is 36 percent.

00:15:19.600 Yeah.

00:15:19.920 So that's six.

00:15:21.000 That's good.

00:15:21.780 That's his lowest ever.

00:15:23.340 Yeah.

00:15:23.800 Yeah.

00:15:24.240 Trump beat Biden 64 to 33 on the assessment of the two being good enough in physical health.

00:15:31.200 Trump beat Biden again, 54 to 32 on having the mental sharpness to serve effectively in office on trustworthiness on trustworthiness.

00:15:43.560 The numbers were flipped with Biden beating Trump 41 to 33.

00:15:48.120 That is incredible to me.

00:15:54.680 Did you see in in his statement on these numbers?

00:16:00.540 He said, well, to MSNBC.

00:16:03.600 Well, I just have to tell you, I mean, I think my record stands.

00:16:07.760 Oh, it does.

00:16:09.440 It does.

00:16:10.080 Yeah.

00:16:10.360 I think my record stands and I have proven myself to be honorable.

00:16:15.720 Yeah.

00:16:17.240 Honorable.

00:16:17.840 That was fascinating.

00:16:19.300 It was.

00:16:20.180 Yeah.

00:16:20.820 No, I, I, you keep using that word.

00:16:24.920 Hey, don't think that's what that means.

00:16:28.120 We have a series of qualities that we look for in a person if we're going to do business with them.

00:16:32.680 By the way, thank you, Pat Gray from Pat Gray Unleashed, which can be heard here on The Blaze right before this broadcast every day.

00:16:40.780 I look for.

00:16:41.560 You didn't say when my show was on.

00:16:42.640 This is the best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:16:52.420 Do you remember a couple of weeks ago we told you about a small community that is trying to keep a communist company out of the farmland, out of this particular area?

00:17:04.400 And the city is very excited because it's going to cause so many jobs, but it's a communist country and our company.

00:17:14.720 And it is coming from China.

00:17:16.760 It's full of a lot of really bad things in their charter.

00:17:21.220 So people had a little rally.

00:17:24.100 Well, the woman who said you can use our farm to rally on suddenly gets a knock on the door from what's called Medard, which is what exactly still the.

00:17:35.960 Of course, Medard is the Michigan Department of Agricultural and Rural Development, which, of course, works to assure food safety, protect animal and plant health, sustain environmental stewardship, provide consumer protection, enable rural development and foster efficient administration operations through service, partnership and collaboration.

00:17:59.740 Oh, wow.

00:18:00.820 I like those three.

00:18:01.760 But they have armed forces, too.

00:18:04.880 So the woman who has had the knock on the door, an investigation from one complaint, Lori Brock, joins us now.

00:18:13.540 Hello, Lori.

00:18:14.740 Hi there.

00:18:15.700 How are things?

00:18:17.180 You know, we're hanging in there.

00:18:20.140 That's not good.

00:18:22.160 That's not good.

00:18:23.160 So, Lori, you held a rally or you allowed a rally to happen on your farm.

00:18:28.000 Are you how close will you be to this plant directly across the street?

00:18:34.100 Oh, good.

00:18:34.800 So that's good for your property value.

00:18:37.560 And so you're they're going to move across the street.

00:18:41.060 And you say that you have had several people malign you.

00:18:48.160 The company, the VP of Goshen, has made remarks that you say are slander, as has the town supervisor, right?

00:19:02.580 Yes.

00:19:03.020 Jim Chapman's the town supervisor.

00:19:04.940 And both he and Chuck Thielen, he's the vice president of Goshen, have publicly and privately told people that I my farm is located on an industrial zone and shame on me for building there.

00:19:18.640 And you wouldn't want to use her as, you know, the whole, oh, not a good realtor, because that's what my profession is, because I don't even know the zoning, you know, ordinances.

00:19:28.820 And my property is absolutely on agricultural land.

00:19:32.620 And so but they've gone after everybody that speaks out against them in some way or another, and they try to discredit you.

00:19:39.040 So this has been ongoing.

00:19:40.340 And so the latest attempt has been to use Medard.

00:19:45.420 Now, what was the accusation that brought these people out?

00:19:50.460 I got a call on Monday that I guess the complaint was filed the Monday after I had the rally on the farm.

00:19:56.700 No, what a coincidence.

00:19:58.600 Coincident, yeah.

00:19:59.880 And so they came out and they said that I had, you know, the farm with it was a Blake condition and that it was in, you know, bad shape.

00:20:07.600 And we had manure run off into the pond and, okay, my farm, I take impeccable care of it.

00:20:13.560 If you talk to anybody that was at that rally, there is no way that there was anything like that on our property.

00:20:19.220 I have 20 horses and a few rescue animals, and I have 145 acres.

00:20:25.300 So it has plenty of room for the amount of animals that we have.

00:20:29.700 This was just pure harassment is what it was.

00:20:32.600 But they didn't send me a citation.

00:20:35.820 They called me and said that, you know, that my farm was there.

00:20:39.500 They were starting a full investigation onto my farm and that they would be there on the following Thursday, which was last week.

00:20:47.140 So on that Thursday, Ambassador Pete Hoekstra showed up to help me.

00:20:51.920 And he showed up, and we had some TV people there as well.

00:20:58.600 And the lady that came to do the investigation only pulled into the driveway. 1.00

00:21:02.940 And she said, you know, Lori, there's no complaint here.

00:21:06.780 She goes, your farm's beautiful.

00:21:07.980 There's absolutely no issues at all.

00:21:10.360 We're closing the file.

00:21:11.720 And I invited her up.

00:21:13.080 I said, why don't you come up here?

00:21:14.060 We'd like to talk to you.

00:21:15.040 And she absolutely declined and wouldn't come up.

00:21:18.700 And I said I had a letter from our representative, Thomas Kulitz, because he felt that this was an overreach of government power and that they were weaponizing the government against me because I'm asking tough questions against Ergosian. 1.00

00:21:34.500 We have a huge threat of lithium dust, and it's a communist-operated factory. 0.93

00:21:39.980 And they won't answer any environmental questions whatsoever.

00:21:43.420 In fact, when I brought it up in a board meeting, one of the directors of Greentownship threw my request for environmental information into the trash.

00:21:55.280 So it's just been a nightmare.

00:21:57.380 I mean, absolutely.

00:21:58.540 But they did say that they were going to file an investigation on them for the misuse of power.

00:22:03.900 Whether that goes anywhere, I don't know.

00:22:06.160 But I'm glad that at least someone was sticking out for us.

00:22:08.280 So who is going to launch an investigation?

00:22:11.080 Like, it's like when the police are bad.

00:22:13.500 Well, we're going to launch an investigation on ourself.

00:22:16.500 Who is...

00:22:17.720 It wasn't him.

00:22:18.460 It was Representative Thomas Kulitz.

00:22:20.520 Okay.

00:22:21.160 Was asking for an investigation to be started against MDART.

00:22:24.960 Okay.

00:22:25.560 And for the, you know, and he sent it in.

00:22:28.000 He actually gave me a copy to give to the lady, but she wouldn't come up the driveway to get it.

00:22:32.740 So we emailed it to her.

00:22:34.100 Now, is that because she knew that there were people waiting for her or why did she not come up the driveway, do you think?

00:22:41.040 I don't know.

00:22:41.680 She said that she, she, she had took one look at the farm and said that there was definitely no complaints whatsoever.

00:22:47.600 Wait, she said that at the gate?

00:22:49.960 Yeah.

00:22:50.660 She never got out of her car.

00:22:52.380 Wow.

00:22:52.680 So she never, it was like a, it was just, I believe in my heart it was just a harassment call just because I, I'm standing against them and I'm speaking out loudly against them.

00:23:04.100 And every time that, that Chuck Seelan, you know, we did a radio interview and I, I caught him lying to me repeatedly and, you know, from the communist part to the community support to the hourly wage, they've lied about everything.

00:23:18.500 And he doesn't like it because I pointed it out publicly.

00:23:22.580 So how do they answer?

00:23:24.240 I mean, the communist part is really pretty amazing.

00:23:28.880 I mean, they, they have in their own, um, you know, I, I guess, handbook or constitution, you know, for the, the company that they have to, they abide by the rules of China.

00:23:41.900 Uh, and they even have to have an outreach, a communist party outreach within the country, within the company and for the children.

00:23:50.920 Yes, we found, we found all of that.

00:23:54.100 And when we did the radio interview with them, we brought it up to them and they denied it.

00:23:58.300 They've denied it strongly for two months, even though we had the, we had the bylaw or their association bylaws.

00:24:03.920 They've denied it until it went on.

00:24:06.220 I believe it was on Fox news.

00:24:07.680 And when they show, when we showed the, the article that, you know, that talks about the communism at that point, Chuck Seelan says, oh, okay, well, it's just, uh, you know, it's, it's in there, but it doesn't really matter.

00:24:19.600 And we just trust us.

00:24:21.380 We're never going to use that.

00:24:22.660 And we're not, we're not going to follow that.

00:24:24.640 And I'm like, yeah, I don't trust anything you say, you know, I'm like, you can say that, but we don't, you have lied to us repeatedly about this whole project.

00:24:32.300 So we don't, we don't feel any trust with you at all.

00:24:35.620 So does he, does he think that the communist party of China doesn't mean those things?

00:24:42.440 That's what he said.

00:24:43.340 He said, that's a spoiler point.

00:24:44.980 And it just in all of it.

00:24:46.360 And then we shouldn't pay attention to that.

00:24:48.840 Yes.

00:24:49.140 I'm like, I, because they mean it.

00:24:51.040 Yeah.

00:24:51.280 Right.

00:24:51.540 We don't mean that it's in our, in our stuff, but we don't mean it.

00:24:55.140 I know.

00:24:56.000 So Lori, um, how is the fight going?

00:24:59.940 You know, it's tough.

00:25:01.060 Um, every, we thought we were, we, we, we've done very well as far, as far as turning some people against them.

00:25:07.100 And, um, one of the, the big rapids township has, has voted to, to say no to the rezoning.

00:25:13.860 Um, cause last week they were trying to rezone hundreds of acres into industrial, from our agriculture and forestry land into, um, industrial.

00:25:21.920 That, that came out and they said that they weren't going to, you know, they were voting against it.

00:25:27.200 Right after that, they pulled the zoning off of the, um, the docket for the meeting on Thursday.

00:25:32.400 But we all still showed up and there were probably three to 400 people there that were against it, talking to the zoning commission saying, please don't bring this here.

00:25:42.060 We don't want it here.

00:25:43.120 We don't need the jobs.

00:25:44.380 They keep saying we need jobs and we don't.

00:25:46.640 I brought them a, we, I did a bunch of research and there's almost 1800 jobs available in Mecosta County right now that aren't being taken and that are absolutely, anybody can go on Indeed and look it up.

00:25:58.060 Um, and so all their arguments for pushing this company into our community don't make any sense at all.

00:26:04.760 And then them to try to build this, they said the, the Goshen plant was first going to be half a million square feet.

00:26:10.820 Then it was a million, then 2 million.

00:26:12.460 Then two weeks ago, it was 3 million square feet.

00:26:14.880 Now, in an article just written a couple days ago, Jim Chapman, the township supervisor said 5.5 million square feet.

00:26:22.600 I mean, this thing is just growing and growing and they don't, they don't have any environmental reports.

00:26:27.660 They haven't filed CFIUS reviews.

00:26:29.640 We, we've got no, no, nothing to go on.

00:26:32.000 And it's, it's really frustrating for all of us because we don't want them here and they're not following any of the rules.

00:26:38.360 They've, they've not told the truth about anything concerning this plant.

00:26:42.860 That's truly remarkable.

00:26:44.160 Lori, thank you for standing up in your own, uh, community.

00:26:47.980 Um, I really appreciate it.

00:26:49.520 I, I would hope that, I don't know how you vote, but I would hope that there's people that voted for both sides, uh, or, you know, differently than, let's say me, that are standing with you.

00:27:01.800 Is that happening?

00:27:02.720 You know, the one thing I can say is that whether you're Republican, Democrat, liberal, doesn't matter.

00:27:09.180 We're all in this together and we all don't want them.

00:27:11.480 And our numbers are growing every day.

00:27:13.680 I mean, the more we get this out in front of everybody, the more people that are coming to our meetings and the more we're pushing back.

00:27:19.820 And I just got to throw this out there.

00:27:21.960 If anybody wants to help us, we're trying to raise money for legal costs.

00:27:25.440 And you can text N-O-G-O to 801-801.

00:27:28.780 And that would help us tremendously because we have a huge fight on our hands and we definitely need legal help for sure.

00:27:35.580 And it is, what, what text again?

00:27:37.740 It's N-O-G-O, like no go. 1.00

00:27:40.520 Okay.

00:27:41.000 To 801-801.

00:27:42.840 801-801, no go.

00:27:44.440 So, thank you so much, Laurie.

00:27:45.960 I appreciate it.

00:27:46.760 Oh, my God.

00:27:47.240 Thank you for having us on.

00:27:48.460 I appreciate you.

00:27:49.460 You bet.

00:27:49.800 God bless.

00:27:53.180 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck Program.

00:27:59.080 So, we all know we live in a time of crisis.

00:28:03.160 We haven't seen anything like this since the Civil War.

00:28:08.240 Our nation has faced really tough times.

00:28:12.160 But I don't think anything as critical as today.

00:28:17.600 Because it's not like the Civil War.

00:28:19.420 It's not North versus South.

00:28:23.820 It's neighbor against neighbor.

00:28:26.580 And we are being flooded this week.

00:28:29.580 Just this week alone, the border is going to change.

00:28:34.200 And I hope America sees and wakes up to what's really happening.

00:28:38.780 I have no problem with immigrants.

00:28:44.940 I have a problem with people who come here illegally and aren't here for the freedoms that we enjoy. 1.00

00:28:53.840 Americans believe that governments are instituted of God for the benefit of man.

00:29:01.460 And that he holds us accountable for our acts in relation to them, both in making laws and administering them.

00:29:11.660 And those are for the good and safety of society.

00:29:15.660 We don't believe that a government can exist in peace except when our laws are framed to secure each individual's free exercise of conscience, the right and control of property, the protection of life.

00:29:35.600 And governments will necessarily require civil officers and magistrates to enforce the laws of the same.

00:29:44.460 And they're supposed to administer the law equally.

00:29:49.180 Justice sought out and upheld by the voice of the people.

00:29:55.960 But something's happened.

00:29:57.640 And those political institutions that were founded upon faith in God and the belief in the existence of actual truth, eternal truth, moral laws.

00:30:17.500 God has endowed men with certain inalienable rights. 0.96

00:30:23.040 And no legislature, no majority, however great, may morally limit or destroy those rights.

00:30:32.520 The function of government is to protect life, liberty, and property.

00:30:39.540 And anything more or less than this is a usurptation.

00:30:43.760 I really believe that the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence came through a group of men who believed in God and were inspired by God.

00:31:02.260 And it is a covenant.

00:31:04.880 It is a solemn contract between the peoples of the states and the officers of the government.

00:31:14.140 And we have a duty to obey under God the eternal moral laws that are all in our founding documents.

00:31:24.780 When you actually compare what's in the Constitution to what's in the Scriptures, in the Bible, you'd be amazed.

00:31:36.040 It's all from the Scriptures.

00:31:40.120 But today, all of these things that we have taken for granted, I remember after 9-11, we all came together.

00:31:48.540 And I expected that.

00:31:49.800 I thought everybody was together.

00:31:51.500 And then, a few years later, everybody started to turn.

00:31:56.620 And you're like, wait, what happened?

00:31:57.960 I thought we were all together.

00:31:59.880 Because so many people did not believe the things that Americans have always believed.

00:32:09.040 The things that we always found self-evident.

00:32:12.400 The government just became about expediency.

00:32:22.540 The government has condoned the breakdown of law and order.

00:32:28.180 Law enforcement alone is at a breaking point.

00:32:32.920 The police force, they're quitting.

00:32:35.240 All kinds of cities have massive vacancies.

00:32:41.980 And who's going to join?

00:32:46.580 Not only the cities are looking for recruits, but our military is also looking for recruits.

00:32:54.300 Who wants to join?

00:32:56.340 Both of them being demoralized.

00:33:03.960 The hostile attitudes of the politically minded.

00:33:11.540 Cops are being demoralized by grabbing somebody off the street, taking them in, and then just, they free them.

00:33:18.940 Some of the hardest criminals, most hardened, they're released as soon as they're arrested.

00:33:25.380 Which shows the police what?

00:33:27.920 We care more about the criminal rights than the people's.

00:33:38.460 Edmund Burke said, he was a statesman from England.

00:33:41.560 He said, men are qualified for civil liberty in exact proportion to their disposition to put moral chains upon their own appetites in proportion as their love of justice is above their vanity and appetites.

00:34:02.500 Society cannot exist unless somebody puts a governor, a regulator on our appetites.

00:34:15.880 And in America, that bargain has always been you, me, nobody else.

00:34:23.800 Don't tell me what's moral.

00:34:25.480 Don't tell me what's right and wrong.

00:34:27.160 Take care of your own house.

00:34:28.440 I'll take care of mine.

00:34:29.600 But when we, when none of us have a regulator or enough of us have taken and rotted all of the things that underpinned that in each of us and our families, then we can't be free.

00:34:47.940 You cannot be free.

00:34:49.660 For the first time in my life, I'm not worried about America being destroyed by some global power, the Russians, nuclear bombs. 0.95

00:35:09.400 Our civilization, no.

00:35:17.960 All of humanity dies when we no longer care.

00:35:27.520 Americans lose their freedoms when nobody cares anymore. 0.71

00:35:32.300 We have one of the biggest things to happen to mankind of all time, of all time.

00:35:44.460 AI.

00:35:46.460 Do you hear your friends really talking about it other than in a passing sort of way?

00:35:50.400 Hey, have you seen the new chat GPT?

00:35:52.340 It's pretty cool, huh?

00:35:53.180 Our country, if we surrender our freedom, it will be because of Americans. 0.92

00:36:08.360 And it won't be just the work of the subversive and criminal Americans. 1.00

00:36:13.800 It'll be, it'll be those Americans who think they're fine, think they're American.

00:36:21.280 Yeah, I'm doing what I'm supposed to be doing, but not really.

00:36:29.360 Lincoln was asked, at what point then is the approach of danger to be expected?

00:36:34.240 He said, quote, if it ever reaches us, it must spring up among us.

00:36:40.640 It can't come from abroad.

00:36:43.880 If destruction be our lot, we ourselves must be its author and finisher.

00:36:50.320 As a nation of free men, we must live through all time or die by suicide.

00:36:59.620 Well, have you seen the rate of suicide in our nation?

00:37:02.600 If America is destroyed, it may be destroyed by the Americans who still salute the flag, sing the national anthem, 0.85

00:37:15.640 are there for the patriotic parades, cheer on the 4th of July.

00:37:20.940 Those people who are normally great Americans.

00:37:23.440 But they are Americans that fail to comprehend what is required to keep our country strong and free.

00:37:36.760 We're lulled away into a false sense of security because we think the government's job is to keep us safe.

00:37:43.860 It's not.

00:37:45.400 Great nations are never conquered from the outside unless they are rotten deep to the core.

00:37:53.440 Our greatest national problem today is not the erosion of soil or air.

00:38:04.580 It's the erosion of our national morality.

00:38:08.540 The erosion of traditional enforcement of law and order.

00:38:14.060 The erosion of truth.

00:38:17.940 Verifiable eternal truths.

00:38:23.440 Theodore Roosevelt said,

00:38:25.580 The things that will destroy America are prosperity at any price.

00:38:32.940 We're there.

00:38:34.580 People don't care.

00:38:36.180 Just make money.

00:38:38.480 Peace at any price.

00:38:44.220 Safety first instead of duty first.

00:38:47.040 The love of soft living and get-rich-quick theory of life.

00:38:52.720 That's Roosevelt.

00:38:55.640 All those things are affecting us.

00:39:00.740 We have exalted security and comfort and ease above freedom.

00:39:08.280 If we dwelled at length on the things that are disturbing in the American society today,

00:39:19.100 we could become discouraged.

00:39:22.240 Many of us are.

00:39:24.740 There's all kinds of things that...

00:39:28.280 We're on fire.

00:39:30.780 Riots, inflation, crime, more federal intervention, more laws.

00:39:42.160 Our schools.

00:39:43.820 The men of power and prestige and great influence in the political structure of America

00:39:55.240 have permitted the concept of freedom of speech
