On today's show, Glenn Beck is joined by reporter Ryan Morrow to talk about a story about a group of activists who are fighting the federal immigration crackdown in the U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's call to the National Guard.
00:05:37.600Well, according to the New York Post, she became involved with this group called Minnesota Ice Watch through this charter school, which I'm still looking into and have some stuff that I want to verify before we get to that.
00:05:52.420But as for Minnesota Ice Watch, which is the group that would be actually on the streets as opposed to the school, it was actually fairly easy research to do because they were openly radical.
00:06:04.640It turned out this isn't really about the issue of protecting undocumented migrants, illegal immigrants, and protecting people from the abuse of the law enforcement.
00:06:15.300It's actually about doing things like eliminating America and setting cop cars on fire.
00:06:23.220You go to their social media page, and it doesn't take much work, actually, to find instructions on how to assault police in order to get free people, open up cop car doors, and pull people out.
00:06:39.080They do not recognize the United States as a legitimate country.
00:06:42.560They have posted that referred to as Turtle Island.
00:06:57.440So, Turtle Island, I'm not even sure it has a ton of merit, but it goes to this belief that a lot of the anarchists and communists spread out there saying that just like Israel should be referred to as Palestine,
00:07:09.220then all of North and Central America should be referred to as Turtle Island because they say that the indigenous people, the Native Americans, that's what they all refer to it as.
00:07:18.840And I'm not finding a ton of verifications that that's actually true.
00:07:21.380But that's what they say in order to basically indirectly call for the destruction of the United States, which is a more uncomfortable thing to say than, hey, destroy Israel.
00:07:32.640And so when they start talking about liberating Turtle Island, that's what they're calling, and that's what I've been calling Turtle Island Intifada.
00:07:43.020So they believe in that, but their language is even more aggressive than that where you actually have posts where the one that's really alarming to me, it says how to start a community defense center in your neighborhood.
00:07:57.060And them and their allies usually say, oh, that just means we're watching, defending in terms of like, we'll give you the number to a lawyer.
00:08:04.180Well, that's hard to say when your post has a depiction of a cop car on fire.
00:08:12.240So when they say set up your community defense center in your local neighborhood, that's a violent intention.
00:08:25.100You just heard what Ryan just said just there on that thing about protecting your neighborhood.
00:08:30.300Can we please play the audio of Governor Walz from yesterday we played just a few minutes ago?
00:08:35.620And listen, with that information in mind, listen to what he said.
00:08:38.820Our history, when things looked really bleak, it was Minnesota's first that held that line for the nation on that July 3rd, 1863.
00:08:49.020And I think now we may be in that moment that the nation's looking to us to hold the line on democracy, to hold the line on decency, to hold the line on accountability.
00:08:58.980And more than that, to rise up as neighbors and simply say, we can look out for one another.
00:09:07.300That, I told you 25 minutes ago, what he's doing is he is empowering and activating a neighborhood revolutionary guard.
00:09:21.440That's exactly what Ryan was just saying in different words.
00:09:27.260This is a group that is telling you, as neighbors, here's how we get together and protect your neighborhood from these evil police.
00:09:47.980I think he's using the language that is comfortable to him, and he may not even know the origin of where that rhetoric is coming from, that it is seditious in nature.
00:09:56.920If you look at the groups on glenbeck.com in my article, I go into some more detail about them.
00:10:03.120They're anarcho-communist and kind of open about it.
00:10:06.640The material that this group posts comes from groups that are quite open about that.
00:10:12.000And they actually say, as part of setting up your community defense centers in neighborhoods, wherever you can do it, after you pick out a spot, the next step is you find local organizations to bring into your alliance.
00:10:23.620And then you identify nearby vulnerable sites for developing strategic patrol routes, like for intelligence gathering and stuff.
00:10:31.260And what they name are things like car washes and vendor hubs and churches.
00:10:35.780So I suspect there's an increasing presence of the Christian anarchists, and sometimes they'll ally with open Satanists.
00:10:52.440With, like, Satanists, like people who are, I'm a member of the Church of Satan type people.
00:10:57.020And you'll see them, they'll be cross over between them within this Turtle Island movement and with Christian anarchists.
00:11:04.900And so this mentioning of churches as vulnerable spots that need protection is just a data point to keep in mind for whatever they're envisioning.
00:11:14.520But they're envisioning something because their post, one of their most recent posts, which was written with another more openly violent anarchist group,
00:11:23.600actually calls for reinforcements, people to show up at a certain location, and they ask people to bring their Christmas trees to burn,
00:11:30.580and anything that they can use to barricade the streets.
00:12:37.280So, yeah, the New York Post says that she's connected to this group, and so I'm saying that this group meets the FBI's definition of domestic terrorism, and it reads as follows.
00:12:48.060Violent criminal acts committed by individuals and or groups to further ideological goals stemming from domestic influences, such as those of a political, social, racial, or environmental nature.
00:13:00.060So, ideologically motivated violence that is criminal in nature, which if you're telling, if you're teaching your supporters how to free people from being in the possession of the police, I would say that fits the definition.
00:13:19.920I mean, because yesterday they tried to make her look like just a simple mom who, you know, just really cares about Somali people and justice and everything else.
00:13:31.440And then when this came out, all I heard all day yesterday was she was just, she's an, all she is an observer.
00:13:58.460They focused more on the charter school, which is apparently, according to their reporting, where she connected with Minnesota Ice Watch.
00:14:07.100But I think that came out pretty quickly, and so maybe it just was a matter of time before people combed through it all.
00:14:14.660But, no, that narrative is still there forming.
00:14:17.320And as you well know, when there's controversies like this, if you're late with the facts at all, it doesn't take long for things to cement in people's minds at the moment and then in their memories a few weeks later when things fade.
00:14:30.360And so it's important that we react rapidly with the truth and with these types of facts as these things form so people understand what's really going on.
00:14:38.720And that the issue you're being told is the issue often isn't actually the issue.
00:16:16.460You know, when we would do these Wednesday night specials, it would take us about two weeks to do a Wednesday night special.
00:16:21.040So we were always two weeks ahead on whatever it was.
00:16:25.420And there's so much going on that what we found was by the time we would get there, there would be another story in the news that was so big that this one kind of fell by the dust.
00:17:59.900Not only am I doing that, but my company, every dime our company makes, 10 percent will go to charity and to people like Ryan beyond what we do to make sure that we are that we are giving back to the community.
00:18:49.740It's also great for having, you know, on your family in case you can't get to a doctor.

00:19:07.920It's great for all emergency situations.

00:20:22.080Also, we have to talk about the president saying yesterday about Mexican land strikes.
00:20:27.300The GDP, the Atlanta Fed has said now we're going to they're expecting in the fourth quarter to come in at five percent GDP growth.
00:20:35.480So, you know, we started the year at what was it, point five?
00:20:41.460I think it was point five minus minus point five in GDP growth.
00:20:46.700And then it is just kept going up and going up.
00:20:49.540I want to give you a history of what five percent GDP growth means.
00:20:52.960When China was really doing well, they were between eight and nine percent GDP growth.
00:20:58.460This is stunning if you have that kind of growth.
00:21:01.440And I know it doesn't feel that way yet, but something is happening.
00:21:07.700To give you a an understanding of five percent growth, our recovery from the, you know, the financial crisis, our recovery happened in 2014.
00:21:21.860So between 2008 and 2014, but by 2014, that year, one quarter, at least we had five percent GDP growth.
00:22:34.420I'm missing all the comments right now, but I mean, from where they started on Monday, they were just starting to trickle in, I guess, as they were trying to figure out what this was all about.
00:24:34.440I added and changed that for the first time in 26 years, the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment and empowerment, because my goal is to empower you with knowledge and information, the facts on everything.
00:24:51.240And we are coming up with delivery systems that nobody has done before.
00:24:56.140And you can find those and play around with some of them at Glenn Beck dot com right now.
00:25:01.240Anyway, let's talk about what happened last night in Israel.
00:25:06.620What how it felt to me like it might fall last night, but it didn't.
00:25:13.180I was watching last night and I completely agree with you.
00:25:15.920I was like, we might see the regime go down tonight.
00:25:18.360The things that we saw back in 2022, 23, the things that we saw back in 2009, this where this like started to kick off.
00:25:26.820I remember looking at the faces of some of the protesters that were out in the streets, looking at some of the things that were willing to do.
00:25:32.640That is nothing compared to what we saw last night.
00:26:14.260And another images for Time magazine are the young women without their hijab on, smoking a cigarette, lighting the Ayatollah's image on fire.
00:26:26.660Those are starting to go viral now all over Iran.
00:26:29.700No headscarf, smoking the cigarette, and three things they're not supposed to do right there.
00:27:30.460Speaking of the Shah, I remember when we were talking about this back when there was the Israeli campaign and when we bombed nuclear sites.
00:27:38.360Some people were talking about the Shah as being the person to, you know, you know, take over or lead this.
00:27:44.440I didn't think that the people would go for it.
00:27:47.460The stuff that was happening last night was actually called for by the Shah.
00:27:51.340In fact, whoever he's working with, they were working with an organization that was providing like a QR code so that you could scan the QR code and film what you were doing.
00:28:00.180They were chanting in the streets yesterday, last night, the Shah's name.
00:28:17.560I don't even know if I got to this list, but I had a list of all of the things that we have to watch for, you know, if you want to know what's going on.
00:28:24.520And one of them was, is it growing in labor unions?
00:28:28.380What is happening at the docks and the ports?
00:28:31.840Are you seeing police starting to, you know, put their clubs away?
00:28:38.360Are you starting to see the morality police kind of back off?
00:28:42.920And all of those things you're starting to see, and it's getting better.
00:28:48.340But on the bad side, I said, what you need to watch for is, is the Internet still up?
00:29:19.000But they're clearly not wanting the world to see how they're going to respond to these people.
00:29:24.740But there are just the wildest reports that still need to be confirmed.
00:29:28.720But there were multiple reports that several Iranian officials were looking to get out of the country.
00:29:33.120There was a report that the Ayatollah's ejection plan is to go to Russia.
00:29:37.920There were reports that the main foreign minister, like their secretary of state, went to Beirut in Lebanon, took his family with him with no plans to leave at the current time, which I don't blame him.
00:30:37.760Iran, another huge part, not only of their empire, like militarily through drone production, stuff like that, but also money, a lot of oil.
00:30:46.640A lot of these pieces are just getting taken off the board.
00:30:49.400And I think they're in desperation mode right now, which could be very dangerous.
00:30:53.800I think I heard with you talking about being backed into the corner with the ambassador.
