00:12:35.340 I'm good. Now, tell me what you think is really going on in Pennsylvania. Let's start with the

00:12:41.620 election. Do you think there is voter fraud there that could change the results or not?

00:12:50.720 At this point, I don't think so. I don't think there's enough evidence. There's always shenanigans,

00:12:59.120 right? But that's the shenanigans. I don't think there's enough shenanigans go to make a difference.

00:13:08.120 But, you know, I'm not a legal expert. I'm not a ballot expert. I'm just going from my years of

00:13:15.240 covering elections. And so, you know, that's where, you know, I think this is. And if you remember,

00:13:23.400 on the day of the election, I came out, I was on the show, and you said, what do you think? And I

00:13:29.860 said, well, I think the polls are wrong. I don't think Joe Biden is going to win this state by five,

00:13:35.380 six, seven, whatever the poll was, right? But the race is a jump ball. And I think the results reflect

00:13:43.120 that. And I think what is the really important story, I think, that is getting sort of lost in

00:13:52.100 all of this, is that while the Democrats are claiming a mandate, and while the cultural curators

00:14:00.560 are claiming that they have put pressure on culture and had it go their way, they could not

00:14:09.140 be more wrong. The country, the down ballot became redder. In fact, it went all the way back to center

00:14:19.020 right, which is the opposite of what traditionally happens with the president after their administration,

00:14:29.100 right? Barack Obama pushed the country right. Bill Clinton pushed, George W. Bush pushed the country

00:14:38.440 left. So we react to their policies. What Donald Trump has done is move the country even further

00:14:47.180 right. But what also failed miserably is the cultural pressure, right? Every time we picked

00:14:56.660 up our phone, we wanted to order from something from Amazon, there was a Black Lives Matter post up

00:15:03.860 there. Or, you know, we should be better kinds of people kind of post. And all the scolding that was

00:15:10.060 done to us through the NBA, through the NFL, none of that impacted this, in particular, the suburban

00:15:20.700 voter. They showed up for down ballot races in a very robust way.

00:15:26.540 So tell me, give me an example. Talk about the open house seat in Pennsylvania with Emily, what

00:16:04.160 sort of progressive groups, outside groups to help her. Emily's List, Planned Parenthood.

00:16:15.420 The teachers unions. And also, in a suburb where there's a lot of affluent,

00:16:22.380 C-suite executives that are in the energy industry. And she had the climate change groups behind

00:16:31.900 her as well. You know, people vote their pocketbook. People vote their community. And the assumption

00:16:40.180 was, oh, it's affluent, college-educated suburbs that has an ascending population, right? It has

00:16:48.560 a diverse population. This is totally going for her. And she got crushed again by 10 percentage 0.97

00:16:55.640 points. I mean, that is the lesson. That that pressure that was put on you every time you

00:17:02.120 open Facebook or Twitter or YouTube or turn the television on or try to watch a football

00:17:07.140 game. None of that worked. And I think that is incredibly important.

00:17:11.180 huge. So this goes really against what Chuck Schumer said over the weekend, where he said,

00:17:20.200 if we can just win the Georgia Senate seats, we are going to change America.

00:17:27.460 No. OK, first of all, no. Just on its face. Second of all, get it. Look at the statistics.

00:17:35.300 You didn't look at the numbers. You barely won a presidential race. And what happened down ballot

00:17:42.880 is striking. Just let's just take Pennsylvania, for example. I mean, first of all, it happened

00:17:47.900 across the country, right? Everyone was telling, you know, every reporter, there's a blue wave down

00:17:54.700 ballot. There's a blue wave down ballot. I mean, I even got to the point where I was like, wait,

00:18:00.120 is there? Well, I did what I always do. I went back out and talked to people. And more importantly,

00:18:05.680 I listened to people. But the Democrats did not pick up one state house race. They did not pick

00:18:11.080 up one state Senate race. And in fact, the speaker of the state house in Rhode Island lost their seat

00:18:19.800 to a Republican. Wow.

00:18:21.520 And it is just absolutely stunning. But back to Pennsylvania, not only did the Republicans

00:18:28.200 hold their majority, but they gained state house seats. Not only did they hold their Senate,

00:18:33.920 but they gained state Senate seats. They want two row offices, state treasurer and auditor general,

00:18:39.980 with two Republican candidates who didn't spend a dime running. And they got defeated. Also,

00:18:48.360 the state house minority leader in Pennsylvania, Democrat, gone. Beaten by a suburban mom who 1.00

00:18:55.780 worked her butt off, walked on every door and asked every voter to consider her to earn their vote. 0.93

00:19:02.940 So if they come in, the Democrats come in, because let me just give you a couple of

00:19:07.120 things from California. The California is going the same way. Californians rejected a property tax

00:19:16.040 increase that would generate as much as 12.5 billion a year. Eighty four percent of the

00:19:23.020 precincts reporting. It's narrow, but it is it's trailing. Californians said no to repealing

00:19:32.100 anti-discrimination law and re-estating affirmative action goals. That's by 56 percent in California.

00:19:38.500 They rejected a proposal to expand rent control ordinances. They rejected a bid to abolish cash

00:19:48.280 bail in the state. They also rejected lowering the voting age. I mean, those are things Republicans

00:19:56.200 are for. So yeah, when when the left gets in charge and they start to do things that are radical,

00:20:05.460 like, for instance, on day one, Biden has said he's going to re-estate, reinstate critical race

00:20:14.040 theories back into the government. So he's going to take, you know, critical race and he's going to

00:20:23.200 put those classes back in at the federal level. See, here's the thing. I said this in a column a

00:20:32.600 couple weeks ago. We keep sending Washington a message with our vote and they keep misreading

00:20:38.540 it. The vote for Joe Biden was not to to overreach. It was because it was for a different tone

00:20:46.420 because that's what he ran on. He didn't run for an overreach, right? He ran on, we're going to be

00:20:53.460 nicer. We're going to be kinder. Fine. That's why people gave you their vote. And what's the first

00:20:59.000 thing he does is what you just said. He thinks that it's a mandate for progressivism. You know,

00:21:06.620 one of the things I found really fascinating, and this isn't like to toot my own horn, but this is

00:21:11.660 to show how important it is to to to to report on the most granular level. You know, the people that

00:21:18.660 that we outlined in our book, The Great Revolt, the coalition that we outlined in The Great Revolt,

00:21:25.740 the conservative populist coalition, not only is it now not a black swan, it stayed together. And not

00:21:33.660 only did it stay together, it expanded. And not only did it expand, it isn't it's gotten more diverse.

00:23:42.240 stop it to make sure it never ever happens again. They are so convinced that they are right.
