00:00:00.000 I just got off the phone with Ron DeSantis because I asked him during the show.
00:00:06.760 I'm like, did he write his own speech?
00:00:09.600 I think you asked me, did he write his own speech?
00:00:11.360 And I couldn't tell you.
00:00:12.820 Yeah.
00:00:13.420 But I thought he did because he writes everything himself.
00:00:17.400 He doesn't have a speech writer.
00:00:19.820 And so I just asked him, is this one?
00:00:22.940 Did you write it yourself?
00:00:23.820 This is a unbelievable speech.
00:00:26.660 Yeah.
00:00:26.980 And he wrote, he said every word.
00:00:29.000 All him.
00:00:29.640 Yeah.
00:00:30.180 He said, because I was with him the night before.
00:00:33.200 I left at probably about 930.
00:00:36.380 He said, yeah, he said, I'll show you the, I'll show you when my wife sent it in about 1030.
00:00:44.820 And said, put it in the prompter.
00:00:46.940 He's done unless you see any errors.
00:00:49.820 That's amazing.
00:00:50.700 Yeah.
00:00:51.060 Yeah.
00:00:51.280 No, it was a great speech and a great, I think, vision for the country.
00:00:53.900 Right.
00:00:54.220 I mean, that's why we talked about it today.
00:00:56.380 It is somebody has got to articulate a new vision.
00:01:00.940 Somebody has to say in the GOP, where are we going?
00:01:06.940 Where are we going?
00:01:08.480 And I think that's one of the things that the Freedom Caucus, and they're not doing a really good job at expressing this, but this is really what they are saying is we're not going there anymore.
00:01:18.720 You keep doing the same thing and expecting different results or telling us it's going to be a different result.
00:01:26.020 No, we need to be a constitutional republic.
00:01:29.960 And Chip Roy was going to be on with us today, but apparently they're having a lot of meetings.
00:01:37.000 So we will get the word from him, hopefully, on tomorrow's podcast.
00:01:42.380 We also talk about the process of ballot harvesting.
00:01:44.880 It's a negative term.
00:01:45.960 I don't think it's a good process, but it's also not illegal in most places.
00:01:50.360 What do you do about that?
00:01:51.480 How do you deal with ballot harvesting in future elections?
00:01:54.140 And the kind of mysterious, darker stuff that is happening at the Vatican, there is a split in the Vatican, kind of the deep Vatican state, if you will.
00:02:09.220 But the former pope who just died and the current pope, they both are talking about evil in the Vatican.
00:02:18.700 But I have a feeling they are kind of talking about each other or their allies.
00:02:25.680 It's fascinating.
00:02:26.920 You'll hear about that on today's podcast.
00:02:35.600 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck program.
00:02:43.360 This is the Glenn Beck program.
00:02:46.380 I'm glad you're here.
00:02:48.700 So Monday, I flew to Florida and had dinner with the DeSantis couple, First Lady and Governor DeSantis.
00:03:02.760 And you know what?
00:03:05.040 I was really impressed by him in this way.
00:03:08.500 Neither one of them sucked up to me.
00:03:10.480 And when you're sitting, you know, I walk into this room.
00:03:15.280 There are 500 people there.
00:03:16.560 And I'm coming with my son because, you know, my wife is like, what am I going to go and sit around with a bunch of people that I don't know and have really nothing in common with?
00:03:27.780 And really?
00:03:29.160 No.
00:03:30.060 And I'm like, okay, honey, thank you.
00:03:32.160 And so I brought my son.
00:03:34.660 And when I sat down, I said, well, let's see who we're sitting next to.
00:03:38.780 And I go around the table because I'm one of the first in the room.
00:03:41.280 And I go around the table and I look at all of the name tags.
00:03:43.900 And it's Jonathan Sachs, who I was so excited, so excited for him.
00:03:48.000 And I didn't have my glasses on.
00:03:49.840 And I said, Rafe, who is sitting next to me here?
00:03:53.100 Because it just looked like a long hyphenated name as I couldn't see it without my glasses.
00:03:57.920 And he said, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
00:04:03.660 And I said, oh.
00:04:06.580 The guy sat down and never tried to suck up, never said I'm a big fan.
00:04:12.240 None of it.
00:04:13.280 None of it.
00:04:14.000 I felt like, and this is a good thing, I felt like I was in a line at a grocery store.
00:04:21.420 And I happened to be in front of him or behind him.
00:04:24.040 And he turned around and said, hey, what's happening?
00:04:27.360 I don't know.
00:04:27.900 How's your day been?
00:04:28.600 I mean, it was like that.
00:04:31.560 I brought it to politics.
00:04:34.280 And he was, like, not impressed.
00:04:37.220 He was, he is.
00:04:39.320 Shares that with so many Americans, not impressed by you.
00:04:41.940 Yeah, no, but I mean, I don't mean it by me.
00:04:45.160 I mean, it was, he was just, he just didn't feel like a politician.
00:04:49.660 And he felt comfortable, like, I don't care what you say about me.
00:04:53.900 I really, I really don't.
00:04:55.620 And I liked that.
00:04:57.600 Then I sat and watched him take the oath of office.
00:05:01.960 And he was using the Bible of the Revolution from my vault, which I brought as a surprise to him.
00:05:07.180 And said, I got the Lincoln Bible, and I have one, you know, from the Washington era, the Revolutionary Bible.
00:05:13.840 And he picked the Revolution Bible.
00:05:16.320 And so he was being sworn in.
00:05:18.120 And then he got up and gave his speech.
00:05:20.680 GOP, listen carefully, because this is everything you need to know and do.
00:05:30.180 He said, freedom lives here in our great sunshine state of Florida.
00:05:35.720 It lives, the GOP does not believe this.
00:05:39.600 Good politicians that are serving us do believe this.
00:05:44.680 It lives in the courage of those who patrol the streets and keep our community safe.
00:05:49.860 It lives in the industry of those who work long hours to earn a living and raise their families.
00:05:56.000 It lives in the dedication of those who teach our children.
00:05:59.360 It lives in the determination of those who grow our food.
00:06:03.760 It lives in the wisdom of our senior citizens.
00:06:06.680 It lives in the dreams of the historic numbers of families who have moved from thousands of miles away
00:06:12.100 because they saw Florida as the land of liberty and the land of sanity.
00:06:20.820 Whoa, what does that tell you, GOP?
00:06:23.140 The guy won by 19 points.
00:06:26.160 What is he doing?
00:06:31.060 Listen, over the past few years, as so many states in our country grinded their citizens down,
00:06:38.740 we in Florida lifted our people up.
00:06:43.280 Now, wait a minute.
00:06:44.720 I thought he was a big hate monger.
00:06:47.260 No, he's not giving you stuff in return for power.
00:06:51.360 However, he's letting you do it because he believes in you.
00:06:58.960 When other states consigned their people's freedom to the dustbin, Florida stood strongly as freedom's linchpin.
00:07:06.300 Okay, there's the first thing.
00:07:07.800 Stop violating our rights.
00:07:10.460 When the world lost its mind, when common sense suddenly became an uncommon virtue,
00:07:18.440 Florida was a refuge of sanity, a citadel of freedom for our fellow Americans and even for people around the world.
00:07:26.820 So what does that tell you?
00:07:28.240 Step number two.
00:07:30.280 Stop the insanity.
00:07:32.840 There are two genders.
00:07:34.760 If you want to be one happy little pony, you can be one happy little pony.
00:07:39.360 But that doesn't change the eternal truth that there are only two genders.
00:07:46.140 You can do whatever you want on your own time, but don't try to teach my children lies.
00:07:53.080 Period.
00:07:53.700 When the world lost its mind, that people came to Florida.
00:07:59.920 In captaining the ship of state, we choose to navigate the boisterous sea of liberty, then cower in the calm docks of despotism.
00:08:11.700 That's one of my favorite lines.
00:08:13.640 That is so great.
00:08:15.520 Navigate the boisterous sea of liberty.
00:08:17.880 In other words, it's a storm, man.
00:08:20.260 Some of us are going to be hanging on for dear life.
00:08:22.640 Some of us are going to be leaning over the rail, barfing our heads off, but I'd rather be there and free than kept safe by some big state that tells me exactly what to do.
00:08:37.620 That would be item number three, GOP, you should do.
00:08:43.840 We face attacks.
00:08:45.540 We take hits, but we weather the storms.
00:08:48.400 We stand our ground and we do what is right.
00:08:50.700 That's why the Freedom Caucus is good.
00:08:56.160 There's no one with a spine anymore.
00:08:59.720 We need people with a spine.
00:09:02.620 And when they stand up against all odds to do your work.
00:09:08.520 And that work should be, I don't mean the GOP.
00:09:12.820 I don't mean the people who voted for them.
00:09:14.560 I mean Americans, which, by the way, in the sea of insanity, what was it, Stanford or Princeton said yesterday that Americans is a divisive word and we should stop using it.
00:09:28.120 Americans.
00:09:28.520 Americans, your work, Americans, not independents, not Republicans, not Democrats, Americans, is to make sure people remain free.
00:09:43.240 And here they are standing up with a spine, taking the hits, but standing their ground.
00:09:50.780 He goes on, as the book of Psalms reminds us, I will not fear, though tens of thousands assail me on every side.
00:09:58.580 We have refused to use poles and put our finger in the wind because leaders do not follow.
00:10:04.140 They lead.
00:10:05.660 That's another thing, GOP.
00:10:07.760 Do you notice he doesn't grandstand?
00:10:10.260 He doesn't say, oh, you know what they're going to do?
00:10:12.860 We're going to take all that money one of these days from BlackRock.
00:10:17.820 Where are you?
00:10:18.700 But you watch.
00:10:19.820 We're going to do it.
00:10:21.460 And then they never do it.
00:10:23.180 Instead, you're like, why isn't he doing anything with BlackRock?
00:10:26.200 And the next day he's on TV going, yeah, I just want you to know I just signed this order.
00:10:30.160 We just passed it.
00:10:31.380 And all that money to BlackRock, that's gone.
00:10:34.140 He doesn't threaten.
00:10:36.120 He doesn't boast.
00:10:38.160 Really, he's unimpressed with all of it.
00:10:41.680 There's another thing, GOP.
00:10:44.380 Stop telling us what you're going to do because you're lying to us.
00:10:50.480 And when honest people go to Washington and they say, we're going to stand for this, of
00:10:56.520 course you're tearing them down.
00:10:58.600 You can't have them win.
00:11:00.680 You can't have somebody standing because once other people notice, wait a minute, these
00:11:06.400 guys are standing for basic principles.
00:11:10.360 What the hell is, what's my guy doing?
00:11:13.500 You're all in trouble.
00:11:14.700 He said, we've articulated a vision for a free and prosperous state.
00:11:20.420 Have you heard the GOP do that?
00:11:22.980 Have they articulated a vision for a free and prosperous America?
00:11:29.680 Because I haven't heard it.
00:11:30.800 What I hear is, we're not the Democrats.
00:11:35.620 We have, through persistence and hard work, executed that vision.
00:11:39.400 We have produced favorable results.
00:11:42.780 We're here today because the people of Florida, not the government, the people of Florida, have
00:11:48.160 validated our efforts in record fashion.
00:11:51.500 Florida shows results matter.
00:11:53.500 We lead, not by mere words, but by deeds.
00:11:57.800 Amen.
00:12:00.160 Four years ago, we promised to pursue a bold agenda, and we did that, and we've produced
00:12:04.520 results.
00:12:06.140 Florida is taxed lightly, regulated reasonably, and spent conservatively.
00:12:10.840 Which member of the GOP doesn't think we should tax lightly, regulate reasonably, and spend
00:12:20.500 conservatively besides those in Washington?
00:12:26.520 We promised we would enact big education reforms, and we delivered.
00:12:30.720 He has.
00:12:31.720 I'd like to see the GOP say, we're going to abolish the Department of Ed.
00:12:36.560 We said we would end judicial activism by appointing jurists to understand the proper role of a
00:12:43.400 judge is to apply the law as written, not legislate from the bench, and we delivered.
00:12:48.020 We promised to usher in a new era of stewardship of Florida's natural resources by promoting
00:12:53.340 water quality in the Everglades restoration efforts, and we delivered.
00:12:58.080 We said we would stand for law and order and support the men and women of law enforcement,
00:13:03.400 and we delivered.
00:13:04.180 We promised to remedy deficiencies in Florida's election administration, and to hold wayward
00:13:10.360 officials accountable, and we delivered.
00:13:12.580 Where is anyone in the GOP saying that?
00:13:15.720 And that's got to be at the state level.
00:13:17.840 Are they doing that in your state?
00:13:21.420 We said we would support the areas of northwest Florida stricken in Hurricane Michael, and we
00:13:27.120 delivered.
00:13:27.480 And when Hurricane Ian came last year, the state coordinated a massive mobilization of
00:13:33.620 response personnel, facilitated the fastest power restoration on record, and even quickly
00:13:39.400 rebuilt key bridges that had been wiped out by the storm.
00:13:43.280 We've stood by the people of southwest Florida and will continue to do so in the weeks, months,
00:13:47.420 and years ahead.
00:13:48.040 Do you remember all of those interviews DeSantis did during the hurricane, where he was standing
00:13:55.880 in front of the water, where they were rebuilding the bridge, and he was like, I've instructed
00:14:00.020 them.
00:14:01.560 Yeah, I don't remember those either.
00:14:04.520 Because again, GOP, he doesn't need to talk about it.
00:14:09.680 People who actually do the right thing is so breathtaking to America that the word gets out.
00:14:20.420 Everybody's like, did you hear what happened in Florida with the bridge?
00:14:24.000 Did you see how fast they did that?
00:14:26.120 You don't have to tout it.
00:14:27.860 It's so breathtaking and spectacular when somebody just does their job.
00:14:35.260 You don't need to be on all the talk shows.
00:14:37.140 Because of these and other efforts, Florida is leading the nation.
00:14:42.560 Wouldn't you like to hear this from the GOP?
00:14:47.080 We're number one in the United States in net immigration.
00:14:53.600 In other words, more people are coming into Florida than leaving.
00:14:57.060 We're number one fastest growing state.
00:14:59.800 Number one in new business formations.
00:15:01.780 Number one in tourism, economic freedom, education freedom, parental involvement in education,
00:15:07.140 we're number one, number one in public higher education.
00:15:10.720 That's a record we can be proud of.
00:15:13.520 He then goes on to say, we have to ensure our school systems are responsive to parents
00:15:18.220 and students, not partisan interest groups.
00:15:20.560 There you go, GOP.
00:15:22.420 We must ensure our institutions of higher learning are focused on academic excellence and the pursuit
00:15:27.880 of truth, not the imposition of trendy ideology.
00:15:31.780 Florida must be a great place to raise a family.
00:15:35.340 We will enact more family friendly policies to make it easier to raise children.
00:15:39.620 And we will defend our children against those who seek to rob them of their innocence.
00:15:46.200 We're a law and order state.
00:15:48.240 We'll conserve and treasure our natural resources.
00:15:51.640 This is the winning plan.
00:15:58.420 You don't need a think tank.
00:16:01.440 Google Ron DeSantis inaugural speech 2022.
00:16:08.180 And it's all there.
00:16:10.460 All there.
00:16:12.440 Just do that.
00:16:15.340 And let's watch what happens.
00:16:17.780 This is the best of the Glenn Beck program.
00:16:29.760 All right.
00:16:30.580 So let me let me start here.
00:16:34.960 Let me start at Christmas.
00:16:36.080 Pope Francis made a dire warning to the the Curia, the Cardinals and everybody else in the
00:16:45.160 Vatican, warning them to be ever vigilant of demons lurking in the Vatican.
00:16:52.660 Now, this was part of his Christmas address, which apparently he has turned into an annual
00:17:00.960 airing of grievances someplace in his Christmas address.
00:17:05.340 He will put some things where he's, you know, kind of upset about inside the Vatican.
00:17:11.800 He'll bury that in the Christmas address.
00:17:14.480 So they've adopted part of Festivus into the Vatican's Christmas Festivus.
00:17:21.640 Yeah.
00:17:21.980 From, of course, the George Costanza's holiday.
00:17:26.800 They had the airing of grievances as part of it.
00:17:29.440 That's right.
00:17:29.940 Well, that's kind of what it is.
00:17:31.400 Wow.
00:17:31.780 That's kind of what it is.
00:17:32.720 So he said you have to be ever vigilant of demons lurking in the Vatican.
00:17:37.900 Now, he he couched this and you can read it this way.
00:17:42.620 And this is probably what he meant.
00:17:44.660 But listen to the whole story.
00:17:46.820 He said we could easily fall into the temptation of thinking we're safe, better than others,
00:17:51.380 no longer in the need of conversion.
00:17:54.600 But there is an elegant demon who does not make a loud entrance, but comes with flowers
00:18:00.660 in his hand.
00:18:01.640 So he says this elegant demon is now lurking among the Vatican staff.
00:18:08.560 OK, so is that just something that he's like, hey, you know, everybody's human and we should
00:18:13.020 just be careful.
00:18:13.840 Ever vigilant.
00:18:14.900 Could be.
00:18:15.620 Could be.
00:18:16.920 Find it really interesting that he's using those words.
00:18:22.080 Because I want to add something on top of that.
00:18:24.640 Pope Benedict, who just died, his longtime personal secretary, has written a tell-all book that
00:18:32.920 his publisher promised would tell the truth about dark maneuvers, mysteries and scandals
00:18:41.980 that sullied the reputation of Pope Benedict.
00:18:48.940 Dark maneuvers.
00:18:51.680 Hmm.
00:18:52.020 This is a guy who stood by Benedict for three decades.
00:18:59.600 He worked with him when he was just, you know, father.
00:19:04.980 What was his name?
00:19:06.100 Ratzinger.
00:19:07.720 Then he was his personal secretary.
00:19:11.460 He went, became the Pope's secretary.
00:19:14.240 And then when Benedict suddenly left, which was extraordinarily odd.
00:19:20.120 First time in what, 600 years?
00:19:21.500 Yeah, it's extraordinarily odd.
00:19:23.920 And the story has been that, you know, he fell and, you know, he was like, I don't think
00:19:29.700 I can do this job anymore.
00:19:31.600 And that may be true.
00:19:34.020 But.
00:19:36.000 Was there anything else that was going on?
00:19:39.400 This book is promising to say, yeah, there were some dark maneuvers going on.
00:19:46.200 I want to add a personal story before I go into part three of this.
00:19:51.620 I was at the Vatican.
00:19:54.120 I've gone.
00:19:56.420 Twice.
00:19:57.200 What was the last one?
00:19:58.400 2011.
00:19:59.840 Do you remember?
00:20:00.600 I don't.
00:20:01.580 It's a while ago.
00:20:02.500 It's when they appointed when Ratzinger was the Pope and he had appointed a bunch of cardinals.
00:20:11.180 Dolan was one of the cardinals that was being sworn in.
00:20:14.580 And we were there and I talked to Dolan and I talked to many of the cardinals.
00:20:20.220 And I was supposed to meet with the Pope at that time.
00:20:24.060 And it fell through at the last minute.
00:20:26.340 But I was I was hanging out with all these cardinals.
00:20:30.380 And I think they were the good cardinals.
00:20:33.080 I mean, you know, everybody has their own personality and everything else.
00:20:36.200 But these guys were they were like Mother Teresa, you know, St. Francis.
00:20:40.880 They were the they were the poorer ones and from the poorer countries.
00:20:45.700 And they were just all about service.
00:20:49.920 And we took a I had so many incredible life changing experiences there that just opened my eyes to so much.
00:21:00.380 And one night it was before the cardinals were, I don't know, cardinaling, cardinaling.
00:21:08.340 But anyway, it was the night before.
00:21:12.240 And I'm in this room with all of the cardinals.
00:21:15.280 OK, and there's just a few people that aren't wearing these these red robes.
00:21:20.480 And and Tanya and I are standing there and we're standing talking to these cardinals.
00:21:25.060 And this one guy who was really our host that night, he was just, you know, when you meet people and you could feel the spirit on them and the kindness and everything else, you just know when you're in the presence of somebody who's really connected to the spirit.
00:21:41.220 And and and he said to me at the time, he said, you know, why this is happening.
00:21:49.640 And he meant why so many cardinals were being called.
00:21:52.360 And I said, no.
00:21:53.820 And he said, there's a war inside the Vatican.
00:21:57.580 And he said, I believe that it's a war of good and evil.
00:22:00.880 He said, but there is a real war because there are many political aspects.
00:22:09.660 And basically what he described to me was deep state.
00:22:12.360 There was the deep state of the Vatican that was going to do didn't matter what a pope even thought.
00:22:18.980 And he alluded to the fact that Ratzinger or Benedict Pope Benedict knew this and was doing basically what Donald Trump did with the Supreme Court.
00:22:29.900 He was appointing all these cardinals because he wanted to stack the deck because, in his words, he didn't feel he had very much longer that he could fight.
00:22:42.320 And I just thought maybe he's sick at the time, but it was like a year later that he retired.
00:22:50.020 And and so he said, you know, he's stacking the deck.
00:22:54.180 He's trying to make sure that after he's gone, there's enough to hold back the onslaught.
00:23:02.560 And he said, and it's it's real evil.
00:23:06.820 And so we were just talking about it.
00:23:08.320 We're in this room someplace in Rome.
00:23:11.260 We're in this room that it was enormous.
00:23:15.320 It was a ballroom, you know, from, I don't know, a thousand years ago.
00:23:20.300 And it had a map of the world that was like two stories in a football field long.
00:23:27.140 I mean, it was unbelievable.
00:23:28.580 It was like a movie.
00:23:30.460 Like if you were a supervillain, you'd have a desk in the center of this room.
00:23:34.440 You know what I mean?
00:23:35.200 And you'd have one light at the desk and the bad guy would be sitting behind it and the camera would just show him in the whole map of the world.
00:23:42.480 It was like that kind of a room.
00:23:44.000 It was beautiful.
00:23:46.500 And and so we're standing there and I'm just listening to what he's saying.
00:23:51.760 And this guy comes in and he was he was one of the cardinals.
00:23:56.440 And I don't want to identify his role, but he was very, very high up.
00:24:03.420 And man, he walked in and he walked in with all these suits, all these politicians.
00:24:08.520 And the guy said, that guy's the mayor.
00:24:13.160 This guy is, you know, I don't know, finance minister, blah, blah, blah.
00:24:18.120 And I said, man, the room got chilly.
00:24:23.900 And because I just felt like this is not a good guy.
00:24:27.760 When he came in, he was like, you could feel it as much as I could feel the good on one guy.
00:24:32.300 This guy.
00:24:32.860 And he said, oh, oh, yeah, he's the there's there's there's that's the beginning.
00:24:37.080 There's the head.
00:24:38.840 And he said, you want to meet him?
00:24:41.360 And I'm like, no, I don't want to meet him.
00:24:44.200 And he said, you should.
00:24:45.880 And so my wife looked at me like, why, why, why would we want to meet him?
00:24:50.980 And so he came up and what the cardinal was doing was you just judge for yourself.
00:24:57.640 Just say hello.
00:24:59.200 This was the spookiest guy I've ever met.
00:25:03.060 I don't remember the conversation.
00:25:05.040 I just remember thinking I want to stop talking to him and go way away from him.
00:25:13.200 There is a war.
00:25:14.820 And I don't think I'm not saying this to, you know, bash the Catholics or, you know,
00:25:18.800 have you question your faith if you're a Catholic or anything like that.
00:25:22.660 Pray for the people who are in leadership positions.
00:25:27.240 What's happening in Washington is happening in all of our churches.
00:25:31.220 The evil has taken a foothold and there are good guys inside fighting.
00:25:38.560 I'm I'm I want to get the the guy who wrote this tell all book.
00:25:44.820 Uh, to be on and we're, we're looking at a, another cardinal that we could get on that might be able to tell us some of the inside things that are going on.
00:25:54.160 That has been a little Frank about some of these things.
00:25:57.040 But the last thing I want to bring to your attention is, uh, when Pope Benedict was a cardinal, um, he had, uh, a lot of friends and they were other cardinals.
00:26:14.180 And when they released the final secret, the third secret of Fatima, which if you're not Catholic, it's, it's just, uh, a message from heaven.
00:26:24.360 Uh, given to these, um, these kids, you know, right before the world war one.
00:26:30.940 And it said, there's a huge, Russia is the problem.
00:26:35.660 It's going to spread its error throughout the world unless her heart is changed.
00:26:41.480 Um, and they, she, there's going to be a, a world war coming soon.
00:26:47.160 And then there will be a second world war and then a final battle.
00:26:53.820 Um, and you know, it, it happened years before world war one and world war two, obviously.
00:26:58.880 And then there was the third one, the third secret, if you will, about what sets up the final battle, they released this and it was kind of like, uh, okay, that's old news.
00:27:09.360 Ratzinger, who is Pope Benedict said, and this has just been, uh, published that, um, Pope Benedict said the third secret has not been revealed in its entirety because the Pope and, uh,
00:27:28.880 all those involved, uh, would not allow it to be released.
00:27:33.820 Or if he was the Pope, I can't remember which it was, but, but the, but the power did not want to release it because it talks about a bad council and a bad mass and evil at the top and highest levels of the church.
00:27:51.220 And that's the warning that was given to them, uh, in, you know, like 1910 and it, it, it leads to the end of days.
00:28:03.080 So I found it interesting that for anybody who believes in any of these kinds of, of things, and if you believe in evil, I find it interesting that the current Pope is talking about evil.
00:28:15.440 The last Pope is talking about evil, but I think they're kind of pointing at each other a little bit, you know, I don't think they're on the same side.
00:28:29.640 I think they're both using evil, but I think they're not talking about the same evil and aren't fighting the same evil.
00:28:40.180 And then to have this Fatima secret come out now, according to sources, it is from, uh, the Pope that just died.
00:28:51.900 I find it fascinating.
00:28:54.180 And to be clear, you're saying the book that is coming out is a tell all book, basically about Benedict and what was going on.
00:29:00.100 And saying that it, he was not the guy, everybody that, cause they called him, you know, God's Rottweiler.
00:29:05.780 He went through a lot, you know, with the press, but also this book is saying there were internal things that were going on that I can tell you when he was the Pope, I heard at the Vatican that he was fighting real evil and there was a battle inside.
00:29:25.400 It was like the deep state.
00:29:26.780 And this book was, you think, intentionally withheld until, until after he died.
00:29:31.480 I think this book was, I could be wrong.
00:29:34.280 I could be wrong.
00:29:35.040 But as I read it, he was so close.
00:29:37.980 You don't write a book overnight.
00:29:40.360 He just died.
00:29:41.200 Right.
00:29:41.440 Right.
00:29:41.720 Um, so he's been writing it for months and this guy worked at his side his whole time.
00:29:48.080 He's the guy who gave him last rites, uh, called Pope Francis and say he's dead.
00:29:54.700 I mean, he was the guy with him all the time.
00:29:57.260 I would bet you that it was written with Benedict.
00:30:01.920 Could be wrong.
00:30:03.640 But, uh, there, there might be some very interesting things that come out of this book.
00:30:12.340 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck program.
00:30:15.060 Scott Pressler is with us now.
00:30:21.540 Uh, and, uh, uh, we were having a, uh, conversation, um, gosh, a while back he was on, I think we
00:30:29.820 were talking about, uh, cleanup day in Baltimore and he was, he was part of that.
00:30:35.480 Um, he is joining us now to talk about ballot, legal ballot harvesting.
00:30:43.340 How you doing, Scott?
00:30:45.640 Thank you so much for having me.
00:30:47.240 Good morning.
00:30:47.900 You bet.
00:30:48.780 So you are love this.
00:30:51.180 You're an Eagle scout, aren't you?
00:30:53.740 Yes, sir.
00:30:54.520 Yes, you are.
00:30:55.200 Yes, you are.
00:30:56.020 I think I remember that from, oh, we're going to clean up, uh, we're going to clean up Baltimore.
00:31:01.120 Okay, try not to get stabbed to death.
00:31:03.780 Um, but, uh, now you're on to legal ballot harvesting.
00:31:08.000 Tell me, uh, what it is, where it's legal, what the difference between legal and legal
00:31:14.560 is and why it's important.
00:31:18.340 Well, first, if I may, I want to explain why we're going to engage in legal ballot harvesting.
00:31:25.760 And we saw this in Arizona.
00:31:27.740 We saw this in Harris County, Texas, that, you know, 30% of Republican voters are going
00:31:33.560 to vote early or do mail-in, but the strong majority, 70% are going to wait until election
00:31:39.020 day.
00:31:39.500 And we saw in Arizona that by waiting for that one day to vote, it only took one day of
00:31:47.380 tabulation errors and machine errors.
00:31:51.480 And in Harris County, we had polling locations that ran out of paper ballots as early as
00:31:59.140 7.30 a.m.
00:32:00.960 on election day.
00:32:02.540 And so my argument.
00:32:04.200 I mean, you wouldn't expect more than, I don't know, 150 people to come and vote.
00:32:11.380 Exactly.
00:32:11.940 It wasn't just negligence, in my opinion.
00:32:15.920 And therefore, my argument to the American people is, look, we cannot simply wait for
00:32:22.660 election day because there are now months of early voting.
00:32:26.880 I mean, literally in my Commonwealth of Virginia, we have 45 days of early voting.
00:32:31.020 So that means that we must encourage early in-person, early voting, mail-in voting, election day
00:32:38.860 voting, and where it is legal, engage in ballot harvesting.
00:32:43.560 So explain, because I know you're writing a manual on this, if I'm not mistaken.
00:32:47.680 Explain what ballot harvesting means.
00:32:51.320 Sure.
00:32:52.200 So ballot harvesting just refers to the practice of somebody else returning a ballot on behalf
00:33:00.740 of a voter.
00:33:02.140 So ballot harvesting could mean my turning in my mom's absentee ballot for her because
00:33:09.200 she's either disabled or sick or out of the country, whatever the reason may be.
00:33:14.020 That's ballot harvesting.
00:33:15.640 And I really want to differentiate, because when people think about harvesting, they probably
00:33:21.260 think of like, oh, one person is turning in a thousand ballots.
00:33:24.860 Certainly, that is ballot harvesting.
00:33:26.680 But I want to say that each of us could actually become a ballot harvester by even doing one
00:33:33.380 ballot.
00:33:34.060 I mean, that can double the amount of Republicans that are actually engaging in elections that
00:33:38.920 each of us do legal ballot harvesting.
00:33:41.220 And here's an example in Oregon.
00:33:43.860 I just got off the phone with Oregon, and I will be visiting soon, by the way.
00:33:47.240 Oh, sorry for that.
00:33:49.060 Hey, we got to bring the fight to even the blue.
00:33:52.480 Oh, I know, I know, I know.
00:33:54.140 And half that state is red, red, red.
00:33:58.580 Exactly.
00:33:59.340 It's only these cities that control them.
00:34:01.960 But we're going to change that.
00:34:03.120 And in Oregon, you can create your own unofficial Dropbox locations.
00:34:10.620 So literally, I could have a house party.
00:34:13.420 I could have a Dropbox location at a gun shop, a gun show, a church.
00:34:18.560 If President Trump or Governor Ron DeSantis came and did a rally, I could set up a Dropbox
00:34:24.080 location and have every Trumper and Republican turn in their ballot at the rally and then
00:34:30.260 give them information on how to chase ballots for other people.
00:34:35.060 And it was the successes of California, where we did legal ballot harvesting, New York, where
00:34:41.640 we did legal ballot harvesting, and the state of Florida.
00:34:44.320 That is the reason why we have a Republican narrow majority today.
00:34:50.060 So I am writing about harvesting manual.
00:34:53.320 I predict that I'll be done within the next two weeks.
00:34:56.920 And I'm going to start making this available to conservatives across the country so they
00:35:01.320 know the rules, they know the regulations.
00:35:03.980 And we're going to play the same game the Democrats have done in order to elect Republicans
00:35:09.460 going into 2023 and 2024.
00:35:11.440 This is what's so frustrating, because I don't want to do anything illegal.
00:35:15.960 I want to make sure that every valid ballot is counted and is accounted for.
00:35:25.480 But we are not even doing the things you're allowed to do that are legal to do.
00:35:33.240 We don't we just we let them master things.
00:35:36.740 And then they always take it into the dirt.
00:35:40.700 But if we even want to be competitive, we have to do everything that is legal to do, because
00:35:48.040 they are just outmaneuvering us.
00:35:51.180 Well, and I'd like to expand upon that as well, because, for example, in the state of
00:35:56.120 Colorado, any person you don't even have to be a citizen.
00:35:59.400 I can turn in up to 10 absentee ballots in the state of Colorado.
00:36:03.600 But here's the kicker.
00:36:05.460 In Wyoming, there are no laws or statutes that prohibit ballot harvesting whatsoever.
00:36:11.700 Wyoming is one of the bloodest of red states.
00:36:14.780 So therefore, here's the methodology or the thinking that we have to have going forward.
00:36:19.580 We, as Republicans, are going to engage in legal ballot harvesting where it is applicable
00:36:25.380 and in states that we control the governorship and the legislatures, we should move to ban
00:36:31.400 ballot harvesting in those states.
00:36:33.620 So, for example, why is it not banned in North Dakota or South Dakota or Wyoming or et cetera?
00:36:40.820 There's only one state in the entire country that does not allow for a ballot harvesting,
00:36:45.540 and that's Alabama.
00:36:46.640 And I think that's how I thought this was I didn't realize that it was legal everywhere.
00:36:54.240 So define illegal ballot harvesting.
00:36:57.500 Well, it's actually very nebulous and ambiguous.
00:37:02.600 I'm not going to name names because I don't do that.
00:37:06.080 But I called an elections office in a blue state and I asked, are there any laws or statutes
00:37:14.940 that prohibit another person from turning in a ballot for somebody else?
00:37:20.900 And the only answer I got was the voter has to be the one that signs the ballot.
00:37:26.300 And I said, well, you know, could I mail in the ballot for somebody on their behalf?
00:37:31.920 And the answer I got was, well, we're not going to know who mailed in a ballot regardless.
00:37:39.160 And I don't like that answer.
00:37:40.520 I don't like that answer at all.
00:37:41.700 There's no chain of custody and it's so ambiguous and there are so many loopholes and reading
00:37:48.360 all the laws that the majority of these laws don't even talk about drop boxes.
00:37:54.720 And so I think there's a lot of room that we can use these laws to our advantage.
00:37:59.540 And again, I'm not doing anything illegal.
00:38:02.700 This is all going to be by the book and making sure that where things are prohibited, we will
00:38:07.420 not engage and where things are legal, we will engage.
00:38:10.500 Yeah, we have to engage where we can.
00:38:14.480 I would love for it to be day only show up at the ballot box voting.
00:38:20.040 I would love that.
00:38:21.300 But that's not where we are.
00:38:22.940 I would love no drop boxes.
00:38:25.280 I think those are a nightmare.
00:38:27.440 You have to put the ballot in.
00:38:30.140 If it's a three week thing, you have to show up.
00:38:33.560 You have to be the one that put it in.
00:38:35.180 But that's not what we're dealing with.
00:38:37.260 So if that's not the law, then we must engage in what everything that is legal to do.
00:38:46.380 Absolutely.
00:38:47.300 Well, and look at Pennsylvania, for example.
00:38:50.020 One last reason why we must do early voting is by the time that Fetterman and Dr.
00:38:56.300 Oz had their first and only state, 500,000 Pennsylvanians had already voted, and four
00:39:03.960 out of those five voters were Democratic voters.
00:39:07.580 So they were already banking votes while the majority of Republicans were waiting.
00:39:11.220 And the last thing that I want to say, Glenn, is despite what happens with the RNC vote on
00:39:17.920 January 27th, I am going to be working with a pact to create an infrastructure for absentee
00:39:25.280 voting and early voting that's going to engage in states like Arizona, Nevada, Pennsylvania,
00:39:30.880 Michigan, Wisconsin, all of the swings to make sure that the GOP, if they don't have an
00:39:37.220 infrastructure, that we will have one outside of the Republican Party to ensure the job gets
00:39:42.460 done.
00:39:42.840 Good.
00:39:43.020 I have to tell you, this is why you make your kid become an Eagle Scout.
00:39:49.140 This is what you get out of it in the end, somebody who will actually get it done and
00:39:53.540 do it right.
00:39:54.420 So, Scott, please send me a copy of the book.
00:39:57.720 We'll have you on.
00:39:58.400 Is it possible then that where your state is voting and you can have a drop box that we
00:40:09.440 could all have like a Tupperware party or a, I could do like a, I don't know, we could
00:40:15.920 do a special show that is only on that night and you get special access if you have a party
00:40:23.040 at your house and they fill them all out and that group can take those then and turn them
00:40:30.320 in.
00:40:30.600 Is that possible?
00:40:31.620 Is that legal?
00:40:33.900 Absolutely.
00:40:34.800 There are some states that we're going to have to kind of figure that out.

00:41:22.040 And again, nothing illegal.
00:41:27.300 I want transparency.
00:41:30.820 But as long as things remain on the books, we have got to beat them at their own game
00:41:38.600 when it comes to legal votes.
00:41:42.500 Have to do it all.
00:41:43.760 Have to do it all.
