The Glenn Beck Program - Best of the Program ｜ Guest： Sen. Ron Johnson ｜ 4⧸1⧸25

00:00:00.000 Claudia was leaving for her pickleball tournament.

00:00:02.160 I've been visualizing my match all week.

00:00:04.700 She was so focused on visualizing that she didn't see the column behind her car on her backhand side.

00:00:10.680 Good thing Claudia's with Intact, the insurer with the largest network of auto service centers in the country.

00:00:16.400 Everything was taken care of under one roof, and she was on her way in a rental car in no time.

00:00:20.840 I made it to my tournament and lost in the first round.

00:00:24.300 But you got there on time.

00:00:26.160 Intact Insurance, your auto service ace.

00:00:28.440 Certain conditions apply.

00:00:30.000 Hey, today on the podcast, Critical Thinking, on a couple of stories.

00:00:34.220 We talk about the Biden administration giving illegal Social Security numbers, a possible Trump third term,

00:00:39.520 and the amount of damage to the environment burning a Tesla would actually do.

00:00:44.560 Critical Thinking and Senator Ron Johnson on the importance of Wisconsin's Supreme Court election that takes place today.

00:00:51.560 If you're in Wisconsin, have you voted yet?

00:00:53.760 All on today's podcast.

00:00:55.680 You're standing at the bottom of a mountain, and all of a sudden, you hear a noise from up top.

00:01:01.000 You look up just in time to see an avalanche.

00:01:04.080 Massive wall of snow and rock swallowing everything in its passive as it barrels down towards you.

00:01:09.460 And in that last moment before it hits, you say one thing.

00:01:13.660 Ah, my credit card debt.

00:01:15.780 I knew it would get me eventually.

00:01:19.600 Drama.

00:01:20.400 Sure.

00:01:21.000 What an episode.

00:01:22.500 But it's actually what it feels like when you're hit with massive high interest debt from things like credit cards.

00:01:27.640 It just buries you, and there's no way you'll ever get out from underneath it.

00:01:30.700 Or at least that's the way it feels.

00:01:32.380 But I want you to call American Financing.

00:01:34.360 They have been saving people just like you.

00:01:37.180 They don't dress up like St. Bernard's with a barrel of whiskey around their neck, which would make me call them faster, quite honestly.

00:01:43.740 So maybe they should think about that.

00:01:45.380 I mean, I'm open to changing the commercial.

00:01:47.460 But don't do this alone.

00:01:48.760 You can dig out from underneath that easily with American Financing.

00:01:52.740 Call 800-906-2440, 800-906-2440, AmericanFinancing.net.

00:02:00.020 Hello, America.

00:02:01.140 You know we've been fighting every single day.

00:02:03.100 We push back against the lies, the censorship, the nonsense of the mainstream media that they're trying to feed you.

00:02:09.360 We work tirelessly to bring you the unfiltered truth because you deserve it.

00:02:14.240 But to keep this fight going, we need you.

00:02:16.740 Right now, would you take a moment and rate and review the Glenn Beck podcast?

00:02:20.140 Give us five stars and lead a comment because every single review helps us break through Big Tech's algorithm to reach more Americans who need to hear the truth.

00:02:29.300 This isn't a podcast.

00:02:30.620 This is a movement, and you're part of it, a big part of it.

00:02:34.120 So if you believe in what we're doing, you want more people to wake up, help us push this podcast to the top.

00:02:39.240 Rate, review, share.

00:02:40.840 Together, we'll make a difference.

00:02:42.880 And thanks for standing with us.

00:02:44.180 Now let's get to work.

00:02:50.140 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:02:57.620 So I couldn't sleep last night.

00:02:59.060 I was just spinning all night just thinking about stuff.

00:03:02.580 And I couldn't get a couple of stories out of my mind.

00:03:05.620 First, the Social Security thing we're going to talk about, that Elon Musk was in Wisconsin along with a buddy of his,

00:03:12.660 a guy who volunteered, is a big CEO of a venture capitalist thing, and volunteered because he wants to clean up the government and all of the waste and the graft and everything else.

00:03:21.420 And they made an announcement, we'll play for you, about Social Security.

00:03:25.280 The other thing, Wisconsin has a big vote today.

00:03:28.640 And this could mean the balance of the House, Republican, Democrat.

00:03:36.820 And we'll see.

00:03:38.580 And we'll see what happens today.

00:03:39.900 How many people are going to be out voting?

00:03:42.440 We're going to talk to Ron Johnson about it here in just a second and the importance of it.

00:03:47.600 If you happen to be in Wisconsin, probably a day to go out and vote.

00:03:51.880 Not probably, definitely a day to go out and vote.

00:03:54.140 Then I was also thinking about the protests again on Elon Musk.

00:03:59.780 I just can't get past these things because these are global protests.

00:04:03.680 And this is what kept me up.

00:04:05.160 These are global protests.

00:04:08.160 These are demonstrators outside of Tesla showrooms.

00:04:13.640 We've seen fires.

00:04:15.200 We've seen people burning the cars and the lithium batteries.

00:04:21.380 But we're seeing them all over the world.

00:04:24.140 So can we just stop?

00:04:28.180 Today's theme of the show is just can we think, ask some critically thinking questions.

00:04:33.180 Can we do that?

00:04:34.680 Before we accept this story, let's ask some things.

00:04:37.540 This is what really kept me up last night.

00:04:41.040 Can anybody tell me what these protesters are responding to?

00:04:45.780 And I'm not talking here in America.

00:04:47.100 I'm talking about in England, in Germany, wherever a Tesla showroom is, people are protesting.

00:04:54.520 I would just like to know, what are the people in England protesting?

00:04:59.140 What policy?

00:05:00.840 What decision?

00:05:03.520 Because Musk isn't pushing a global war.

00:05:06.040 He's not erecting the tariffs.

00:05:08.920 I mean, I would understand it if people in Europe were protesting on the tariffs because that would actually affect the average person.

00:05:16.580 OK, this these here's here's what here's what he's doing.

00:05:21.300 He's helping lead a department focused on the United States federal budgeting and efficiency.

00:05:28.200 Why would anyone in Germany or Sweden or Ireland care?

00:05:38.180 Why?

00:05:39.560 I mean, I looked last night.

00:05:41.620 I tried to find.

00:05:42.540 Has there any been anything like this in history?

00:05:45.340 No, you can go to, you know, people protesting the nukes and war and everything.

00:05:50.400 But not this.

00:05:51.260 There's nothing where a domestic policy dispute has all of a sudden swept the globe.

00:05:59.340 So why would they care about this so deeply?

00:06:03.420 Hmm.

00:06:04.540 Getting out of NATO?

00:06:05.900 OK.

00:06:08.080 Even even even if they were saying, you know, Greenland, America just wants to buy Greenland and they're out, you know, protesting.

00:06:15.800 OK, I could see that for some degree.

00:06:17.360 But I can't see people in, I don't know, whatever city Greenland has or the people in Denmark, you know, rising up and saying this policy that Elon Musk is doing in the United States, trying to make the government more efficient.

00:06:34.720 That's just outrageous.

00:06:36.440 Come on, Sven.

00:06:37.720 Let's go out and burn a Tesla.

00:06:39.600 Makes no sense.

00:06:40.640 Have you ever seen a protest in foreign countries over a U.S. cabinet appointment ever in your life, not over war, not over climate treaties, not over global trade, but over something that deals with cutting our budget that will not affect really anybody overseas?

00:07:04.680 Yeah, it's unprecedented.

00:07:06.780 It does.

00:07:07.320 It it it's never happened.

00:07:09.000 One, so who benefits?

00:07:12.240 That's the first.

00:07:13.840 The first question is, have you ever seen seen this before?

00:07:17.320 Second, why would anybody in Europe care about this?

00:07:21.660 Three, who benefits?

00:07:25.480 Well, let's look at Tesla.

00:07:27.080 This is the company that made electric cars mainstream.

00:07:31.740 It jump started the global EV race when everybody was saying we've got to have electric cars.

00:07:37.060 We're like, no, hydrogen would be even better.

00:07:39.000 Got to have electric cars.

00:07:40.500 Well, they don't work.

00:07:41.620 Here comes Elon Musk and he starts Tesla.

00:07:44.980 He not only develops solar panels, battery storage, charging infrastructure, things environmentalists have been begging the world to adopt for decades.

00:07:55.740 Okay, and then wait, all of a sudden, the very people who claim climate change is the greatest, I'm quoting them, the greatest threat to humanity are now trying to cripple or even burn down the company doing the most to solve it.

00:08:10.980 That doesn't make sense.

00:08:11.820 Does that make sense to you?

00:08:14.860 That's not activism.

00:08:17.500 That's contradiction. 0.99

00:08:19.020 It's a mental illness, really. 0.87

00:08:20.900 That's what it is. 0.98

00:08:21.640 It's a mental illness.

00:08:22.700 If that makes sense to you, then you should see a doctor.

00:08:25.940 If you believe in saving the planet, how does driving the number one force for clean energy or torching lithium batteries help you at all?

00:08:35.780 How does boycotting EVs help you?

00:08:38.980 Terrorizing people that bought Tesla EVs.

00:08:42.560 How does that help you?

00:08:43.400 How does trying to destroy the most innovative, clean energy company in the world move us toward your goal?

00:08:51.560 Answer, it doesn't.

00:08:53.200 It doesn't.

00:08:54.500 So let's ask a deeper question.

00:08:57.320 Are all of the claims you've made since the 1980s, 90s, how we're all five years away from something worse than World War II?

00:09:06.920 You know, we're all going to die in a fiery flood.

00:09:09.880 Is that true?

00:09:11.160 Any of that?

00:09:11.840 Or is this about control?

00:09:13.020 Because if we only have five years to do something, why are you stopping Tesla?

00:09:17.400 Why would you do that?

00:09:18.400 We only have five years.

00:09:19.920 These guys are helping us.

00:09:21.720 Doesn't make sense.

00:09:24.900 Elon Musk did not become controversial when he built Tesla or when he launched rockets or when he championed electric energy.

00:09:34.340 When did he suddenly become controversial?

00:09:37.300 And it's not Donald Trump.

00:09:38.560 It's when he stood up and defended free speech.

00:09:43.900 That's when they turned on him.

00:09:48.080 When he bought Twitter and exposed the censorship that we now can prove happened.

00:09:54.920 When he said he wouldn't be a pawn for either side.

00:09:58.940 That's when it happened.

00:10:00.760 That's when the outrage machine flipped on. 0.99

00:10:02.760 They had to put him out of business.

00:10:04.180 Have to put him out of business.

00:10:06.660 And when people try to justify it, they usually pivot to one word. 0.98

00:10:10.800 Well, he's a fascist. 0.68

00:10:13.560 So let's ask some questions on that one. 0.93

00:10:15.860 Well, this isn't about Tesla.

00:10:17.360 It's about stopping Musk. 0.99

00:10:18.480 He's a billionaire fascist. 0.98

00:10:20.220 Okay. 0.99

00:10:20.900 All right.

00:10:22.920 Let's think about that for a second.

00:10:24.340 What do you think?

00:10:27.100 I feel like, you know, I feel like Montoya, six-fingered man.

00:10:32.200 You keep using that word.

00:10:33.880 I do not think it means what you think it means.

00:10:36.000 What does fascism mean?

00:10:37.640 What is a fascist?

00:10:39.820 Is it simply somebody with a lot of money and a large platform?

00:10:43.680 Is that what it is?

00:10:45.400 Is it somebody who questions centralized authority?

00:10:48.960 Is it someone who wants less government interference, not more?

00:10:54.020 Because none of those things are the definition of fascist.

00:10:58.620 Traditional fascism is defined by state control, forced conformity, censorship, and the silencing of dissent.

00:11:07.000 That's what a fascist does.

00:11:09.420 So will you recognize you don't understand the word fascist or fascism?

00:11:14.880 And maybe you can pick another word.

00:11:16.700 But that one, you know, I could call my car a horse or a goat all day long.

00:11:23.420 It's not going to make it a horse or a goat.

00:11:25.480 It's still a car.

00:11:26.660 So you can call him a fascist all you want, but it doesn't make him a fascist.

00:11:31.020 Let's find another word that might work for you.

00:11:35.880 Maybe political opponent is better.

00:11:38.720 By the way, Musk, that fascist, is the one being protested, censored, and attacked for trying to create platforms where dissent is allowed.

00:11:51.520 How? 0.93

00:11:52.640 Don't you have a headache?

00:11:53.840 If you're on that side, don't you have a headache?

00:11:55.860 We should bring our friends aspirin.

00:11:57.800 You've got to have a headache.

00:11:59.120 This is heavy lifting you're doing.

00:12:00.500 So here's the question.

00:12:02.300 Is he really a fascist or is he a powerful figure who doesn't obey the approved narrative?

00:12:09.640 Because that's what it is.

00:12:10.860 That's the same thing with Trump.

00:12:12.000 He doesn't care what the approved narrative is.

00:12:14.800 He's just going to do it, whether you like it or not.

00:12:17.940 That doesn't make you a fascist.

00:12:20.100 It makes you a fascist if you're telling everyone they must conform.

00:12:23.880 If somebody is a fascist for promoting open dialogue, transparency, and government accountability, what do you call the people who are trying to shut him down by any means necessary, including violence?

00:12:39.400 See that?

00:12:39.800 Because if you take the word fascist away and you apply it to him, there's no word for the people who are actually trying to silence people through violence or terroristic activities.

00:12:49.300 There's no word.

00:12:50.340 You've taken the word.

00:12:51.120 And, you know, the worst thing is, and I said this about racism how many years ago, 30 years ago.

00:12:57.800 Can we stop calling everybody a racist?

00:12:59.660 Stop calling everybody racist.

00:13:01.220 Just like in the 90s.

00:13:02.340 You're overusing that word.

00:13:04.560 It's going to let real racists go by the wayside because it will have no meaning anymore.

00:13:11.440 The same thing with fascists.

00:13:12.880 What do you do when actual fascists arrive?

00:13:17.280 So let's get back to the root.

00:13:19.640 These protests.

00:13:20.500 They don't make any sense.

00:13:22.320 Let's ask some more questions.

00:13:23.460 Who's organizing these protests?

00:13:25.840 Who's funding these protests?

00:13:28.460 Who gains power or influence if Tesla's brand is damaged?

00:13:33.140 If Musk is silenced or if the public believes the world is against him?

00:13:38.540 Because regular people do not throw together rallies on a Saturday across the border, across the ocean to protest over American federal staffing decisions.

00:13:52.580 It doesn't happen.

00:13:54.060 You know what I'm really upset about?

00:13:56.680 Have you seen what they've done?

00:13:58.380 They're cutting some teachers' salary over in Ireland.

00:14:02.240 Oh, okay.

00:14:04.060 I don't care.

00:14:05.300 I don't live in Ireland.

00:14:06.760 I don't care.

00:14:07.420 It doesn't affect my life at all.

00:14:09.300 So how is this affecting their life?

00:14:12.760 It takes planning.

00:14:14.320 It takes money.

00:14:15.160 It takes messaging.

00:14:16.260 It takes media amplification.

00:14:18.720 It takes global coordination.

00:14:21.760 Gee, that doesn't sound like a grassroots operation at all, does it?

00:14:26.080 And if the protests are being driven by a narrative and not facts, then isn't it fair to ask this question?

00:14:34.500 What narrative are we being sold?

00:14:37.680 And who's paying for all that advertisement?

00:14:41.560 See, we're living in an age now where perception is power.

00:14:45.140 That's it.

00:14:45.940 One viral video can topple a reputation.

00:14:49.020 One headline can shape an election.

00:14:51.020 And if you can convince the public that even climate heroes are suddenly now villains just because they challenge a certain system, not even the one you say is the most important of all time, then you can control almost any story.

00:15:07.500 And they know that.

00:15:09.500 So here's the challenge for you today.

00:15:13.460 I think you're going to love it.

00:15:15.380 This is for you and the people you love.

00:15:18.720 Think.

00:15:21.020 Think.

00:15:22.560 Ask.

00:15:23.460 Question with boldness.

00:15:25.640 Is this protest helping the environment or hurting it?

00:15:29.440 Is this outrage spontaneous or coordinated?

00:15:33.480 Is the word fascism being used to reveal the truth or to shut down a conversation?

00:15:39.120 And most importantly, are we now burning down the lifeboats just because we don't like the captain of the ship?

00:15:44.860 Because if we are, we might win the argument today.

00:15:51.120 But did you see the end of Titanic?

00:15:57.880 Maybe we should maybe we should watch them.

00:15:59.660 I'm the king of the world.

00:16:00.780 Was that Elon Musk?

00:16:02.800 Did he actually sink that ship?

00:16:05.160 Might be. 0.98

00:16:05.820 He's a fascist, you know. 0.98

00:16:07.000 And the number one thing that fascists do? 1.00

00:16:10.320 Sink big ships. 0.98

00:16:12.480 Okay.

00:16:12.900 They never done that.

00:16:13.600 But since we're redefining the word fascist, they sink big ships.

00:16:18.400 Let me tell you about Relief Factor.

00:16:21.260 I'm going to go out on a limb here.

00:16:22.600 I mean, what if the solution to all those aches and pains that you've been living with isn't just another pill or injection?

00:16:30.280 What if it's something simpler and far more natural?

00:16:32.660 In fact, what if the solution was nature itself?

00:16:36.020 I want to talk to you about Relief Factor.

00:16:39.080 It's not a drug.

00:16:39.980 It is a combination of various anti-inflammatory ingredients and other natural products that was developed by doctors.

00:16:46.440 And it helped me get my life back.

00:16:48.300 And when I say I want you to really fully understand this, that it could happen to you, all you have to do is try it for three weeks.

00:16:57.500 Because I thought, honestly, I told my wife just about a month before I started taking it because she forced me, I don't think I can do, I don't know how long I can do my job.

00:17:07.800 I can't just keep doing this.

00:17:08.960 It's so much pain.

00:17:09.780 I just want to live my life and be with my family, you know, because so much stress and everything else was just making it worse.

00:17:16.320 I had gone to the Mayo Clinic.

00:17:17.820 I had gone everywhere.

00:17:19.160 Couldn't stop it.

00:17:19.860 Couldn't stop it.

00:17:20.420 Couldn't stop it.

00:17:20.980 My wife says, try Relief Factor.

00:17:22.360 I'm like, it's all natural.

00:17:23.400 Yeah, that's going to work.

00:17:24.340 Sweetheart, don't you know, I've talked to people, you know, with things like from Columbia behind them on their wall.

00:17:32.160 They're important.

00:17:32.920 They know.

00:17:34.420 And she said to me, well, I'm not going to listen to you whine anymore.

00:17:36.800 So I started taking it.

00:17:38.160 And in three weeks, I'm telling you, my pain was greatly reduced.

00:17:43.700 Within a couple of months, it had broken the back of it.

00:17:46.820 Just try Relief Factor.

00:17:54.980 Now, back to the podcast.

00:17:56.840 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck Program.

00:18:01.860 Welcome to the Glenn Beck Program.

00:18:05.180 Thank you so much for listening today.

00:18:06.880 We've got a great show for you.

00:18:08.280 Not today, of course, but maybe sometime later this week.

00:18:11.160 We have Senator Ron Johnson on with us.

00:18:14.120 He's going to be joining us in just a few minutes.

00:18:15.500 He is obviously Republican from Wisconsin.

00:18:19.660 The big vote.

00:18:21.280 And what the Supreme Court would mean for the rest of the country, a liberal Wisconsin Supreme Court.

00:18:27.360 What would it mean for the rest of the country?

00:18:29.640 Donald Trump is very, very clear on all of this.

00:18:32.900 There's a very important election for a state Supreme Court on April 1st.

00:18:36.300 That's today.

00:18:38.140 Brad Schimmel is running against radical left liberal Susan Crawford, who has repeatedly given child molesters, rapists, women beaters, and domestic abusers light sentences.

00:18:49.240 She is the handpicked voice of the leftists who are out to destroy your state and our country.

00:18:54.000 And if she wins, the movement will restore our nation.

00:18:57.060 It will bypass Wisconsin.

00:18:59.120 All voters who believe in common sense should get out to vote early for Brad Schimmel.

00:19:02.800 By turning out to vote, you'll be helping to uphold the rule of law, protect our incredible police, secure our beloved constitution, safeguard our inalienable rights, and preserve liberty and justice for all.

00:19:13.720 So important, please, Wisconsin, get out and vote today for Brad Schimmel.

00:19:20.540 That's from the president.

00:19:22.340 Okay.

00:19:23.060 Did you see that Elon Musk was out doing this as well?

00:19:26.320 I mean, he's passionate about it as well.

00:19:29.580 Yeah.

00:19:30.260 Really passionate about it.

00:19:31.380 They're really fired up, and they've spent a lot of money.

00:19:33.760 They're really focused on it.

00:19:34.900 It's an important election.

00:19:36.220 Senator Ron Johnson is with us now to tell us why this is so important in Wisconsin.

00:19:40.780 What does it mean to the rest of us?

00:19:42.800 Senator, how are you?

00:19:43.580 Well, if Susan Crawford wins, we'll retain the radical left majority on the court that was established in 2023, when George Soros and crew came in and pretty well bought that Supreme Court race, spending tens of millions of dollars. 1.00

00:19:59.220 Over the last two years, they've redistricted our state assembly and state senate, so our majorities in those chambers have shrunken.

00:20:08.600 And if they retain that radical left majority on the court, they will redistrict Derek Van Orden and Brian Stiles' congressional seats, really put those things in jeopardy.

00:20:20.460 If they put those in jeopardy with such a slim majority, we could lose the majority in the second half of Trump's term.

00:20:27.600 And I just think I would then be sitting for a third impeachment trial for Donald Trump, and he'll basically have two years where he can be effective, and then the second two years is just going to be a you-know-what ride for the president.

00:20:42.220 So this is crucial.

00:20:43.720 In addition to that, they'll overturn voter ID law.

00:20:47.500 They'll probably overturn any election integrity measure because Democrats want to cheat in elections. 1.00

00:20:52.480 And we just may take Wisconsin off the map in terms of a battleground state for the 10 electoral votes for a Republican president.

00:20:58.900 I mean, that's how serious this is, not to mention the fact that they overturned Act 10, Act 10, which is Governor Walker's signature achievement, saved Wisconsinites hundreds of millions, if not billions of dollars in tax payments, that type of thing.

00:21:12.120 So it's just a crucial election.

00:21:13.980 And the good news, Glenn, is that this shouldn't be that hard.

00:21:17.560 If you were one of the 1.7 million Wisconsinites that voted for President Trump, 1.7, he's a record vote-getter in Wisconsin.

00:21:26.460 Our last Supreme Court judge in 2023 got 800,000 votes.

00:21:31.500 That's a 900,000-vote difference.

00:21:33.380 So if you want to see President Trump effective and you voted for him, get out and vote.

00:21:39.220 I mean, we should be logging 1.5, 1.6 million votes.

00:21:43.580 So if you voted for him, use your text change, use your email change, talk to everybody you know that also voted for Donald Trump, and get out and vote now.

00:21:54.200 We have to win this election.

00:21:55.940 I don't think I've ever heard, Stu, have you ever heard a state Supreme Court election be this trumpeted like this?

00:22:04.680 It's so important to the nation.

00:22:06.640 And that's why it's the most expensive ever, right?

00:22:08.980 More money being spent on this because so many people are focused on it.

00:22:12.240 I think maybe that's because George Soros is on one side and Elon Musk is on the other side.

00:22:16.940 Okay, okay, yeah, that's fair.

00:22:18.540 They don't exactly have to pinch pennies.

00:22:21.460 You know what I mean?

00:22:23.200 Guys, this started with Eric Holder, who started taking over all these district attorneys.

00:22:30.340 And, you know, George Soros funding these district attorneys that wouldn't prosecute crime.

00:22:35.260 And this is, the left is very smart.

00:22:37.280 They're relentless.

00:22:37.860 So, through stealth, they've taken over school boards.

00:22:41.260 Again, they've gotten their radical left ideology infiltrated into every institution of this country, particularly our legal system.

00:22:47.440 These radical left judges, I mean, those are the ones that are issuing nationwide injunctions against the actions that a duly elected president was elected to enact, right?

00:22:58.780 I mean, they're frustrating those attempts, same thing's happening in the Wisconsin court.

00:23:02.380 So, they're the ones that, again, turned the 2023 Wisconsin Supreme Court race into the most expensive race in history, over $50 million.

00:23:11.400 They're going to double that now.

00:23:13.060 So, all Elon Musk is doing is trying to level the playing field.

00:23:16.500 He's doing it brilliantly, by the way.

00:23:18.260 I mean, it's brilliant what he's doing.

00:23:20.840 I just hope and pray that he's successful.

00:23:23.120 What is he doing?

00:23:24.880 Explain what you mean by that.

00:23:26.040 So, he offered to pay people to sign a petition against activist judges.

00:23:33.200 People who signed up for that petition were then eligible for a drawing to win a million dollars.

00:23:38.020 I was at his town hall event where he gave up $2 million checks.

00:23:42.260 And, of course, our attorney general challenged that.

00:23:45.340 But even the radical left Supreme Court turned back that challenge.

00:23:49.540 So, Elon Musk, the publicity he's getting for the million-dollar checks dwarfs the cost of the million-dollar checks.

00:23:57.700 I mean, he's getting millions of dollars of publicity.

00:24:00.300 And so, hopefully, enough Trump voters are paying attention and will get off the couch, get out and vote, and secure this Supreme Court seat.

00:24:11.420 How are the numbers on early voting?

00:24:13.000 Well, not good, quite honestly.

00:24:16.600 I mean, Elon said at the event on Sunday night that the 85-cent betting chance that Brad Schumel is going to lose.

00:24:23.860 That's why this is a real rallying crime.

00:24:25.460 Holy cow. 0.89

00:24:25.760 There's no reason we shouldn't win this thing just running away if those 1.7 million Trump voters are serious about letting Trump be Trump and honoring his promises.

00:24:36.080 It is amazing to me what the left is doing through the court system.

00:24:45.000 And, I mean, you know, we've seen George Soros coming for a long time.

00:24:48.440 And now he's just – it's almost like he – it's almost like nobody pays even attention to him.

00:24:53.260 What he has done to our country, how he has destroyed our states and many of our cities.

00:24:58.920 I mean, look at what happened in New York.

00:25:00.880 Look at what happened in Los Angeles.

00:25:02.680 Look at what happened in Minneapolis.

00:25:04.080 Look at what happens wherever his fingers are.

00:25:09.140 The destruction that comes with it.

00:25:11.300 And nobody says anything about George Soros.

00:25:14.140 And yet Elon Musk is this boogeyman.

00:25:18.820 That's because the corporate legacy media, there are a bunch of leftists themselves.

00:25:23.480 But it's also because, as conservatives, we really don't want to have to deal with government.

00:25:28.880 We just want government off our bat.

00:25:30.560 For liberals, getting into government, getting control of our lives, that's their lifelong ambition.

00:25:35.260 So it's not a level playing field.

00:25:36.980 It's not a fair fight.

00:25:38.720 And so what happens – we saw this under Reagan.

00:25:40.980 You know, we elect Ronald Reagan.

00:25:42.760 He drops tax rates down at 28%.

00:25:44.560 We kind of, you know, clap our hands together and say, okay, we solved this problem.

00:25:49.980 They're defeated.

00:25:50.860 No, the left is relentless.

00:25:52.160 And, again, they do it through stealth.

00:25:54.300 So they infiltrate every institution.

00:25:57.700 And we just – we don't even see it coming.

00:26:00.200 We didn't see the Supreme Court race in 2023 coming.

00:26:02.900 We haven't seen in even conservative school districts the radical leftists take over school boards and city councils and county boards.

00:26:10.920 So, again, government is everything to leftists, to conservatives.

00:26:15.940 We just want it off our bat.

00:26:17.100 So we don't – we just don't pay the attention to it as the left does.

00:26:21.420 And that's what's happening in Wisconsin right now.

00:26:22.880 The 1.7 million voters for Trump, they just aren't – they haven't paid enough attention to it right now.

00:26:28.800 But now is the time to wake up, pay attention to it, and secure this Supreme Court seat.

00:26:33.600 Yeah, I think this is your last chance to wake up in Wisconsin.

00:26:36.860 I mean, you know, it's over today.

00:26:38.740 So get out and vote.

00:26:40.680 Senator, thank you.

00:26:41.680 Thank you for everything you've done in the Senate and protecting our nation and your state.

00:26:46.700 We appreciate it.

00:26:47.500 God bless you.

00:26:48.300 Thanks for having me on.

00:26:49.160 You bet.

00:26:49.740 Ron Johnson, the senator from Wisconsin.

00:26:53.960 Boy, I tell you, that is – it's amazing how this just never, ever ends.

00:27:02.040 It just doesn't ever end.

00:27:04.520 And I think that's the problem with most people.

00:27:06.360 It's like, you know what I did?

00:27:07.920 I fought really hard.

00:27:08.980 I've lost friends.

00:27:10.220 I've lost – but, you know, can I just have my life back?

00:27:12.940 I'm sorry.

00:27:13.540 The answer is no, not really.

00:27:15.900 This is your life.

00:27:16.900 I mean, this is your life.

00:27:17.840 This is your responsibility.

00:27:19.620 If you lose your country, you lose your ability to worship God.

00:27:23.540 You lose your family.

00:27:25.540 Because if you lose your right to worship God, what happens to your family?

00:27:28.420 We've seen what the godlessness of this society so far has done to our children.

00:27:35.600 So, I mean, I've always said God, family, country.

00:27:40.120 It's actually, I think, country, God, family.

00:27:44.900 It might be country, family, God.

00:27:46.640 I don't know.

00:27:47.700 God's in last place now?

00:27:49.200 Gosh.

00:27:49.540 Well, if you don't have – if you don't have – if you don't have country, you won't

00:27:54.620 have God.

00:27:55.640 Yeah.

00:27:57.520 So, and maybe it's country, God, family.

00:28:00.220 And also, that's not true.

00:28:02.060 I mean, like, how many – how many people – how many Afghanis have we talked to over

00:28:07.060 the years that are better worshiping their God and risking their lives?

00:28:11.180 Country, if you're not participating – if you're – if the godly people don't come 0.67

00:28:14.500 out and participate, your country is going to go to hell.

00:28:17.340 You can be godly in a place that does – that where a government tells you you can't.

00:28:20.680 Really?

00:28:20.960 Is this what we're doing?

00:28:21.520 Yeah.

00:28:22.020 I know what you –

00:28:22.940 Oh, I just want to have some critical questions, Glenn.

00:28:24.960 I thought that's what the show was all about.

00:28:26.220 You said critical thinking.

00:28:27.400 I'm being critical of you.

00:28:28.420 That's what you wanted, right?

00:28:29.280 No, that's not what I wanted.

00:28:29.960 You wanted criticism of you.

00:28:32.880 That's how I took critical thinking.

00:28:34.600 I've got a critical question for some critical thinking.

00:28:36.720 Why the hell are you still here?

00:28:37.580 Why are you still talking? 0.58

00:28:38.520 That's a fair point.

00:28:39.520 It is, right?

00:28:40.100 That's actually what I'm asking myself, too.

00:28:41.660 I think I win that one.

00:28:42.800 You're listening to the best of Glenn Beck.

00:28:44.980 Need a little more?

00:28:45.980 Check out the full show podcast anywhere you download podcasts.

00:28:49.900 So, you know, you don't have to like Elon Musk.

00:28:52.540 You don't have to drive a Tesla.

00:28:54.280 But when you start cheering for people to be attacked for what they drive,

00:28:58.740 what they say, or who they voted for, you might have lost the plot.

00:29:02.920 But I'm not sure the left gets that now.

00:29:06.180 They're just going more and more insane.

00:29:07.660 I mean, the minute you were on the wrong side of Martin Luther King, I mean, it's a pretty good. 1.00

00:29:14.740 What did Martin Luther King said?

00:29:16.560 What did he say?

00:29:17.300 Oh, the opposite.

00:29:18.780 No, I'm pretty sure I'm on the right side then.

00:29:20.800 I mean, who thinks that?

00:29:22.420 Who thinks that?

00:29:24.260 Martin Luther King didn't say, you just got to hurt them and beat them in the streets until they agree with you. 0.72

00:29:29.380 Can you imagine Martin Luther King? 0.97

00:29:32.000 Yeah, you know what? 0.93

00:29:32.760 I got to tell you, we're going to beat the snot out of those people every day until we get our way. 0.91

00:29:37.740 No. 0.87

00:29:38.840 In fact, he said the opposite.

00:29:40.020 Hate cannot drive out hate.

00:29:41.360 Only love can do that.

00:29:42.680 So when did the left flip the script?

00:29:45.420 When did rage become righteousness now?

00:29:48.080 When did we start thinking that violence was a valid argument?

00:29:55.320 I mean, this is incredible.

00:29:57.300 We just played this video of this guy who sneaks out of his car, doesn't know that Teslas have cameras all over them, sneaks out of his car and he's keying the side of a Tesla.

00:30:07.500 They catch him and he's like, what, what?

00:30:11.020 No, I, what are you talking about?

00:30:12.800 Come on, man.

00:30:14.420 And he's an adult.

00:30:16.280 He's an actual adult.

00:30:17.740 This isn't a 20 something.

00:30:18.920 This guy, how old do you think he is, Sarah?

00:30:20.620 35, 40?

00:30:22.680 I was even going higher, maybe 50.

00:30:24.440 Yeah.

00:30:24.820 I mean, this is an adult.

00:30:28.300 You know, this is much bigger than Teslas.

00:30:31.340 This is about the idea that violence is okay if your cause is just enough.

00:30:37.500 You know, if you're allowed to destroy somebody else's property or their body, you can do it as long as you feel like you're the victim.

00:30:47.260 And I get it.

00:30:48.060 Some people are angry, I guess.

00:30:49.620 I'd hate to live my life.

00:30:50.760 Wouldn't you hate to live your life that way all the time, being so angry all the time?

00:30:56.160 The second you use force to silence or punish somebody for thinking differently than you, you're no longer the good guy.

00:31:02.280 I don't know if you catch that yet. 0.98

00:31:06.240 You're a bully with a slogan. 1.00

00:31:08.500 That's all you are. 0.99

00:31:10.620 So today I've been trying to concentrate on how to talk to your friends.

00:31:14.900 How do you, you know, how do you talk to people who defend this kind of behavior?

00:31:20.240 How do you talk to your family?

00:31:21.400 Because I know I have members of my family that, you know, they don't listen to me.

00:31:24.600 And, you know, because I'm Glenn, you know what I mean?

00:31:29.840 Nobody in my family is impressed by me.

00:31:32.320 Nobody.

00:31:34.440 And, you know, it's good because it keeps you humble.

00:31:37.160 But, you know, they don't listen to me.

00:31:39.360 I don't have my, nobody in my family is like, well, ask Glenn because I bet he was there and saw that.

00:31:45.820 No, no, we saw it on CNN.

00:31:48.800 That's enough for us.

00:31:49.780 Okay.

00:31:50.240 All right.

00:31:50.640 Well, okay.

00:31:53.560 We have to start asking people.

00:31:57.620 First of all, we have to decide if we're going to be friends with our family or not.

00:32:01.540 Because I think anybody, it's a cult that tells you not to be friends with your family.

00:32:06.980 That's what a cult does.

00:32:08.160 A cult says, divorce yourself from your family.

00:32:10.880 Don't talk to your family.

00:32:11.960 If they disagree with you, if they don't believe in what we believe, get away from them and never talk to them again.

00:32:17.900 That's a cult.

00:32:19.520 That's a warning sign.

00:32:21.500 Okay.

00:32:22.300 So, let's be the opposite.

00:32:24.740 Let's make sure everybody knows we love our family.

00:32:27.540 We want to be with you.

00:32:29.580 But, you know, we don't want to disagree with you.

00:32:33.380 But we're also not going to avoid the truth.

00:32:37.160 But I really want to understand.

00:32:38.940 If you're for all this Tesla stuff, and you'll say, well, I'm not for all of it.

00:32:45.080 Well, I mean, you kind of, you know, you kind of have to take all of it here.

00:32:51.220 Because this is all one in the same now.

00:32:53.540 It's the same package.

00:32:55.880 Ask them, would you feel good about this if this was done to your car?

00:33:00.760 Now, who could say yes to that?

00:33:05.700 Would you feel good if that was happening to your sister?

00:33:10.440 Would you feel good if that 61-year-old woman in Phoenix, if that was your sister or your mom?

00:33:17.920 Would you feel good about that?

00:33:20.340 Nobody would.

00:33:21.640 Nobody would.

00:33:22.500 So, how is it you're standing by and saying it's okay?

00:33:28.240 Let me ask you.

00:33:29.120 Is violence the answer when you don't get your way?

00:33:34.020 Because this is what I always heard from the left.

00:33:37.000 You know, war is just violence.

00:33:38.600 And you don't get anywhere with violence.

00:33:40.400 Well, okay.

00:33:42.320 Do you guys remember saying that?

00:33:43.400 Because it turns out I think you're right, kind of.

00:33:45.860 You know?

00:33:46.480 War is different.

00:33:48.340 But we made a lot of mistakes in war.

00:33:50.760 So, why did you leave that?

00:33:52.840 Why did you abandon that place?

00:33:57.160 What happens when the other side starts doing the same thing back to you?

00:34:00.160 Are you going to be okay with that?

00:34:01.980 Or are you only okay with it on your side?

00:34:05.020 Because if your ideology only works when it's enforced by fist or fire,

00:34:10.760 then your philosophy doesn't work.

00:34:12.660 Okay?

00:34:13.800 You don't win the hearts and minds of people with hatred.

00:34:16.420 You don't fix injustice by committing your own injustice.

00:34:20.800 Now, I know that's not what we're being taught in schools now.

00:34:24.780 The only way to be an anti-racist is...

00:34:27.820 The only way to not be racist is to be an anti-racist.

00:34:31.100 Right?

00:34:31.440 Or pro-racist.

00:34:32.360 What do they call it?

00:34:33.720 Yeah, I think you're right.

00:34:34.600 The only way to not be a racist is to be an anti-racist.

00:34:38.880 Not being racist isn't enough.

00:34:40.220 Is enough.

00:34:40.860 It is not enough.

00:34:42.160 Okay.

00:34:42.320 You don't build a better world by burning something down in somebody else's driveway.

00:34:48.700 You don't.

00:34:49.680 And we have to stop pretending that this is okay.

00:34:53.480 And you just have to start asking.

00:34:55.060 Because it's not okay.

00:34:56.340 It's never okay.

00:34:57.360 It's not from anyone.

00:34:58.400 It wasn't on January 6th.

00:35:01.300 Why are you okay with people doing things that are violent now?

00:35:05.000 You weren't for January 6th.

00:35:06.420 I'm here to tell you I proudly was against January 6th on January 6th and the 7th and the 8th.

00:35:13.380 And I still am today for anybody who is there actually committing violence.

00:35:19.460 Where are you?

00:35:22.500 Because I'm against this violence and I was against that violence.

00:35:25.720 And if we can't say that out loud anymore, then we're not a movement.

00:35:29.700 You're not a movement anymore.

00:35:32.060 You on the left, you're no longer a movement.

00:35:34.840 You're a mob.

00:35:35.900 That's all you are. 0.99

00:35:37.920 And you're really half a step away from not being a mob but terrorists.

00:35:42.880 That's scary.

00:35:45.560 Come back to common sense.

00:35:47.040 Come back to reality.

00:35:48.540 You know that's wrong.

00:35:49.820 You know it's wrong.

00:35:51.960 Do unto others.

00:35:53.600 Do unto others.

00:35:54.880 Is that would you be happy if my side were doing it to you?

00:35:59.060 No, you wouldn't.

00:36:01.000 So why tolerate it?

00:36:02.860 Stand up.

00:36:04.120 It's okay.

00:36:04.560 It's okay to stand up and say, I mean, I did this yesterday.

00:36:09.440 We, I mean, Stu and I, it's going to become very unpopular.

00:36:12.700 I don't think it is now, but it's going to become very unpopular to say these things.

00:36:15.800 But the third term, you know, Donald Trump talking about, you know, possibility of third term.

00:36:22.440 The New York Times is saying today he's just doing that so he won't be a lame duck in the last two years.

00:36:28.300 Maybe, maybe, but I think there are some people around him that are absolutely serious.

00:36:33.860 I think Steve Bannon is one of them.

00:36:35.400 He's dead serious about, you know, there are ways.

00:36:38.400 No, no, there are not ways.

00:36:40.440 There are not ways.

00:36:41.420 You know, Roger Eales said to me at one point, he said, Glenn, we all love the Constitution, but there are things that we have to do from time to time.

00:36:47.620 And I'm like, no, there's not.

00:36:49.220 There's not things we have to do.

00:36:50.560 We always have to abide by the Constitution.

00:36:53.700 That's, that's, that's the answer there.

00:36:56.280 And this, and this is going to get hard for a lot of people because I really, truly believe Donald Trump is the only one with the backbone, the spine, the vision to stand up and to withstand all of the punches that he has received.

00:37:10.900 Can you name one other person that could go through everything that he's gone through and actually turn out to be nicer?

00:37:20.880 Because I don't know a soul.

00:37:24.640 I'm, I believe, I can't tell you that the election was stolen in 2020, but I can't tell you it wasn't.

00:37:32.360 I just think it was unfair.

00:37:34.220 I don't, I think something was hinky about that.

00:37:36.760 It's actually turned out to be a blessing that he had those four years away so he could, you know, get his sea legs.

00:37:42.220 But, and I also believe that by 20, by 2028, that's not enough time to fix the country.

00:37:49.600 And it's not enough time to finish the job.

00:37:51.600 It's going to take eight to 12 years.

00:37:54.240 And I also believe extraordinary times call for extraordinary men.

00:37:58.000 So I believe all those things about Donald Trump.

00:38:03.100 Now, a separate question.

00:38:05.280 You can believe all those things and not be against Donald Trump or anything else, not be un-American and say, no, you know, we don't bend or break the Constitution to keep my preferred leader in power.

00:38:21.800 Because if you break the Constitution to do that, then you've already lost the country you're trying to save.

00:38:26.920 Now, if you want to change the Constitution, that's legal.

00:38:29.880 That's what you have to do.

00:38:30.960 But if you want to find a little trick to make it happen, then I can't go with you there.

00:38:36.240 Because you're not saving the country.

00:38:38.100 You're destroying the Constitution.

00:38:40.600 As I look at this, there are, we have to reroute ourselves back into principles.

00:38:46.540 So let me give you some principles on this one.

00:38:48.640 Principle number one.

00:38:49.960 Do the ends ever justify the means?

00:38:52.760 When it comes to power, do the ends ever justify the means?

00:38:56.900 No.

00:38:58.100 So letting your guy break the rules today sets a precedent for the other side to do the same tomorrow, only worse, with no resistance.

00:39:06.200 Power grabs are never one-time exceptions.

00:39:09.300 They become habits. 0.99

00:39:10.600 And they always come around and bite you in the butt. 1.00

00:39:13.640 Take Venezuela. 0.99

00:39:14.840 You remember Hugo Chavez?

00:39:15.900 Chavez, he rewrote the Constitution to stay in power for the people.

00:39:21.800 And every but one of his supporters cheered when he did it.

00:39:25.040 By the time his successor, Nicolas Maduro, took over, the economy had collapsed, elections became a sham, and millions were forced to flee.

00:39:33.360 And the same crowd that was cheering for Chavez for the third term for Chavez, guess what?

00:39:38.680 In fact, they were imprisoned, silenced, or exiled under the very rules they helped rewrite.

00:39:45.200 It doesn't work out well.

00:39:47.860 Principle two.

00:39:49.280 If you love the Constitution, you don't make exceptions for your guy.

00:39:54.060 If you love the rule of law, my guy broke the law, he's got to go to jail.

00:39:59.320 Constitution is not a menu.

00:40:00.800 It's not like I'll have a little of that and a little of that.

00:40:02.700 No.

00:40:03.660 This is one of those restaurants you walk into and they're like, there are no substitutions.

00:40:08.980 You don't get to pick the parts you follow based on your convenience or your loyalty.

00:40:13.640 Your loyalty is to the law, is to the Constitution.

00:40:17.200 And if you start saying, well, just this once, if you make exceptions like that, what you're doing is you're loosening all the bolts on the wings of an airplane.

00:40:25.200 Well, just this one bolt.

00:40:26.940 No, no, no, let's not take that one bolt because somebody else will say, yeah, let's just loosen this bolt.

00:40:32.440 Just this one time, eventually you fall out of the sky.

00:40:35.480 The nation's not held together by personalities.

00:40:39.480 It's held together by principles.

00:40:40.880 And that's why we're in the trouble we're in because not enough people understand no man is above the law.

00:40:46.560 They certainly didn't understand that under Biden.

00:40:48.580 No man is above the law, period.

00:40:52.580 Principle number three.

00:40:55.200 You got to ask yourself this question.

00:40:57.060 Would I like this if it were somebody I despised?

00:41:02.820 Would I like it if Joe Biden or Barack Obama was trying to change the rule so he could find a way to run a third term?

00:41:12.680 No, I wouldn't.

00:41:13.780 So, no.

00:41:18.020 If I don't like it, if the other guy does it, that I can't like it, it's not right for me.

00:41:23.660 And it might work out for a while.

00:41:25.180 You could get your policies and your judges.

00:41:27.400 You might get your revenge.

00:41:28.640 Maybe even get healing out of it.

00:41:30.640 The whole world is great.

00:41:32.440 But what happens when that guy is gone?

00:41:35.680 There are no term limits anymore.

00:41:37.320 Who says that there are term limits?

00:41:39.120 You can't ignore these things.

00:41:42.000 Somebody, Newsom, AOC, or worse, comes along, seizes the president, declares they're not leaving either.

00:41:48.200 This is what the Democrats do.

00:41:50.500 Do you know if they would have changed the number of the Supreme Court?

00:41:53.300 How do you think that'd be working out for them right now?

00:41:56.840 I don't think it'd be working out well.

00:42:00.140 They would have handed us the key.

00:42:03.480 But there is no key to this engine.

00:42:05.940 Okay?

00:42:06.100 The country's engine only works with principles.

00:42:09.500 It decays.

00:42:10.320 It enslaves.

00:42:11.280 It destroys without those principles.

00:42:14.700 We're either guardians of that document or we're not.

00:42:18.480 And if the Constitution cannot restrain your favorite leader, it can't restrain the worst one.

00:42:27.640 You got to ask yourself, would I be happy with anyone else doing what I'm asking him to do?

00:42:31.880 Would I be happy with that?

00:42:33.440 Would I be happy with my side?

00:42:36.600 Keying the cars, the sides of cars?

00:42:38.660 No.

00:42:39.500 Would I be fine with their side keying cars?

00:42:41.600 No.

00:42:44.480 You might win today, but you don't want to give your enemies weapons that will destroy you tomorrow. 0.88

00:42:48.780 You know, if your house is infested with rats and you love your house, do you burn down your house to kill the rats?

00:42:55.120 No.

00:42:56.480 Wanting a third term to fix the system is like setting your own house on fire because you saw rats in the walls.

00:43:01.500 A fire is going to kill a rat, sure, but it also destroys your home.

00:43:04.480 The foundation leaves you nothing, no roof to protect you.

00:43:09.340 The Constitution is your house.

00:43:11.740 You don't burn it down to save it.

00:43:13.620 And the last principle is, the easiest one to remember, do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

00:43:20.040 If the answer is no, I wouldn't want them to do that to me, then it's not right.

00:43:24.220 That's it.

00:43:24.800 Life is not that complicated.

00:43:29.300 When I found out my friend got a great deal on a wool coat from Winners, I started wondering,

00:43:35.400 is every fabulous item I see from Winners?

00:43:38.260 Like that woman over there with the designer jeans. 1.00

00:43:41.180 Are those from Winners?

00:43:42.700 Ooh, or those beautiful gold earrings?

00:43:45.180 Did she pay full price?

00:43:46.540 Or that leather tote?

00:43:47.540 Or that cashmere sweater?

00:43:48.720 Or those knee-high boots?

00:43:50.160 That dress?

00:43:51.000 That jacket?

00:43:51.660 Those shoes?

00:43:52.340 Is anyone paying full price for anything?

00:43:55.700 Stop wondering. Start winning.

00:43:57.840 Winners. Find fabulous for less.
