00:00:00.000 hi welcome to the podcast uh today in our exciting episode you will find out that yes

00:00:06.660 my toaster is listening to every conversation confirmed that's good it is it is confirmed

00:00:13.520 we had a great show today um some some hopeful things some things that are changing some things

00:00:19.600 that people are doing and ways for you to get involved at your local level and the urgency of

00:00:24.620 that we also had some bad stuff you know like uh the change of the hyatt all of a sudden the hyatt

00:00:32.500 who didn't have a problem with cpac over the weekend all of a sudden they're like yeah they

00:00:36.860 were using devil symbols and of course speaking of people like this andrew cuomo all on today's

00:00:45.080 podcast make sure to listen to uh the podcast every day and subscribe i can also go over to

00:00:49.460 stew does america that's my podcast as well got a new episode coming up today and uh make sure you

00:00:55.040 check that out as well as blaze tv.com slash glenn the promo code is glenn to save 10 bucks

00:00:59.840 you're listening to the best of the glenn beck program

00:01:10.060 we welcome mr pat gray from pat gray unleashed to the program so pat i don't know if you saw that

00:01:21.420 the hyatt hotels yesterday came out and said that they were fine with cpac and they stand behind cpac

00:01:28.820 you know just like they would stand behind anybody else i lauded them for that i did too

00:01:34.140 and then this hyatt hotels slammed both the organizers and the intent attendees of the

00:01:42.520 conservative political action conference for proliferating hate symbolism and showing hostility

00:01:50.040 towards hotel employees in a sharp departure from its earlier defense of its decision to host the

00:01:56.460 conference the hospitality company which hosted cpac from friday through sunday at a hotel in orlando

00:02:01.780 florida criticized the conservative group for having a stage design that has been compared to a symbol

00:02:08.540 of hate such bullcrap this is unbelievable have you ever heard of the odal rune no i have i've never 0.73

00:02:18.600 heard of it no neither is anybody else how many freaking nazi documentaries i've watched how many books 0.99

00:02:24.100 i've read exactly right we talked about this yesterday yeah we just finished the the new hitler 0.89

00:02:29.480 uh biography don't tell me the end hitler down well oh crap downfall oh no it's called hitler downfall

00:02:35.940 he falls down okay um this flight of stairs uh but i don't i mean maybe they said it but it certainly

00:02:42.520 wasn't big enough for me to be to note it we've read the biggest geek books on their symbolism and

00:02:48.500 everything else and i've never even heard of it i know okay so um you know it makes me wonder i i wonder

00:02:54.440 if we have anybody in the audience that can trace back the original comment who originally posted this

00:03:02.020 because it certainly was not alissa milano no okay there's a so go ahead i was gonna say there's a

00:03:10.700 part of me now look i think there is a literally zero percent chance that someone at cpac was like

00:03:17.620 we should design it like the nazi thing that would be awesome like because we like the nazis and we'd 0.99

00:03:23.940 like you know we don't like other races so if we do that they won't know right they're really not 1.00

00:03:29.900 gonna know because because we we have all kinds of special things that we do or don't do on saturday

00:03:35.980 for jewish people and we got a lot of jews up on the stage right like we just hate them jews so zero 1.00

00:03:42.840 percent that cpac was like making a nazi statement zero but a one percent chance oh a one let me just

00:03:49.400 throw a one percent chance out there that whoever designed the stage hated the republicans and

00:03:55.980 intentionally made it into a nazi symbol because there is some i will say it looks just like the symbol

00:04:01.660 right totally could be coincidental but think about think about think about glenn okay for a second

00:04:07.160 pat let me let me try to sell you on this idea glenn goes in for a photo shoot they say hey uh we want

00:04:14.400 to make we want to do the the happy clown sad clown thing what we'll do is we'll put vix vapor rub under

00:04:19.500 your eyes and then we can have like you can be smiling like the theater and then crying like the

00:04:23.720 theater it'll be great oh well i don't know this is really risky but you know because you could

00:04:27.960 misuse those photos uh ms photographer but uh i i trust you just please don't try to burn me on this

00:04:34.560 then that same photographer who happened to be liberal goes and takes the photos of you crying

00:04:42.160 and acts like you're fake crying and they get leaked all over the internet within 20 minutes and it

00:04:47.240 becomes on the cover of magazines these photos totally broke the agreement that they had there

00:04:52.740 is a chance i would say a chance that some some republican hating person who understands symbolism and

00:05:00.540 as a designer because these are the people who know the symbolism did this to screw with the

00:05:05.540 rub i there's a possible one percent chance it's a troll i think there's a chance i would love to

00:05:10.380 there's a one percent i would too and i'd love to know who the first person is to report on it who was

00:05:17.200 the first person to say hey because if they're not a total geek it's a lie yeah like you have to be

00:05:23.620 totally into oh yeah nazi imagery to understand this right deep i i think there's a one percent

00:05:31.400 chance do you would you can i sell you on a one percent chance you can tell me on a one percent

00:05:35.420 chance okay a one percent unlike most likely by far scenario is they just designed a stage that let

00:05:41.680 people walk out that way and it happens to look like this symbol like i again like i only someone who

00:05:48.080 wants to call republicans nazis would even see it i mean i never i never would have seen it i never i

00:05:54.680 didn't know what it was first of all no and never would have seen it no but and the stage design makes

00:06:00.000 sense if you're trying to get the main stage out into the audience which they always do plus have the

00:06:08.800 walkways from going in they're very clear every time you walk out you walk on this walkway to go out

00:06:15.380 you walk that way to go back that way that's always you come on one side you leave on the other

00:06:22.120 side so the walkways are the same they just cut out the middle part they cut the part out between the

00:06:30.340 the stage in the center and the middle part of the walkways that's that's all they did that's all they

00:06:37.020 did and you would have the stage in front of the big monitors on each side they do all the time

00:06:44.920 should they have been tipped off by the fact that the designer's name was joe mengala

00:06:49.880 no that was a total coincidence that was a total coincidence i'm sure i mean if that was the case

00:06:57.040 that i could maybe buy into some of this i just don't i don't believe it at all i don't believe

00:07:01.560 any of it i mean is this not the kind of misinformation and disinformation the media

00:07:06.480 claims to be all against yeah by the way have you seen the the um image posted about candace owens

00:07:16.280 i don't think so oh look up at your monitor can you put this up this came from who what was his

00:07:23.080 name bishop uh what's his name he used to be with the uh naacp you have it there it is breaking leaked

00:07:31.560 photo of candace owens on her wedding night it shows her with an upskirt kind of picture it's not

00:07:38.560 her uh but a a black woman being uh i guess jumping into a clansman's arms he's in full clans robe and

00:07:48.940 he's got a noose in one hand so she's they're saying wow that her husband is a clan member

00:07:56.820 i mean is there nothing is there nothing the left can do that causes twitter to say hey

00:08:08.700 apparently not we're banning you it was up as as as late as this morning it was up i heard right

00:08:16.060 before we went on the air that he had just removed it he had removed it twitter didn't twitter didn't

00:08:21.660 hammer him he just removed it you know when i see this when i see that the hyatt is now coming out and

00:08:34.940 if you have a reservation with the hyatt if you don't cancel that and stay at another hotel

00:08:46.000 you're never going to make an impression on anything they are the only reason the hyatt did

00:08:53.120 this is because of the pressure that they get from the left and all the letters and the emails and

00:08:59.820 everything else and they know they'll destroy our business the other half always sits quietly

00:09:05.880 so because you know obviously we've we've had the boycott conversation a million times that i don't

00:09:11.580 want to react i know i know but but one part that's interesting about this is it's the it's the

00:09:16.120 companies that take the initial risk that get punished the most in these situations like hyatt

00:09:22.340 actually did host the conference now they probably went they could have gone to 10 different hotels

00:09:27.320 that said no way we don't want to go anywhere near this thing hyatt said all right we'll take the

00:09:31.880 conference now afterward they get beat up so everyone boycotts hyatt when all these other hotels

00:09:37.880 probably said no it just said i don't want you guys near our building that's fine arguably worse

00:09:42.220 that's fine that's fine but evil in the face of evil is evil a silence in the face of evil is evil

00:09:49.140 itself this is evil what is happening you are smearing yeah half of the country and calling them nazis 0.88

00:09:58.140 on something that is laughable just laughable it's ridiculous you have to know you have to know that 0.93

00:10:06.600 this organization does not want to be associated with the nazi party for guard regardless of what 0.89

00:10:11.800 you think of them you might think they're secret nazis but they would not see back yeah they would

00:10:16.300 not intentionally you have to stage into a swastika you'd have to be delusional it's insanity you know

00:10:22.560 it's not true and you're still yelling about it as if it's it's an actual criticism we all know this

00:10:28.300 is nonsense and the sad part of it is hyatt was really good initially it was they were themselves

00:10:34.300 they were look we're being inclusive here and diverse and we don't try to censor anybody right

00:10:39.300 and now they said stick it when we now it's the complete office quote when we learned that cpac 2021

00:10:46.980 stage design had been compared to a symbol of hate had been compared compared what you know you know

00:10:53.220 what uh every fashion designer every fashion designer their stage is a phallic symbol and that's

00:11:01.160 what we we know what are they women scantily clad walk out on this big long ramp yeah right 1.00

00:11:08.820 it's ridiculous i'm buying into this one wait a minute this is unbelievable we had initially

00:11:14.700 recognized the potential connections to hate symbolism if we had known in advance we would

00:11:22.340 have proactively addressed it prior to commencement of the event unfortunately this became clear to us

00:11:29.280 only after the event kicked off with cpac's denial of any intentional connection to hate symbols and

00:11:35.940 our concerns over the safety of guests and colleagues in which could have been a very disruptive

00:11:41.400 situation we allowed the event to continue we understand and respect the opinions of those who

00:11:47.260 might disagree with that decision so in other words yeah we saw it we went to them they denied it but

00:11:53.820 we're not going to cancel because the people who were there would have become violent that's what

00:11:59.700 they're saying it's pathetic what do you have to think about your fellow americans to believe that 0.65

00:12:09.320 this is true i mean to believe that one of the two parties is going to come out here and make 0.96

00:12:13.200 the stage into a nazi symbol it's so that's what is being taught everywhere they think everybody's a

00:12:19.540 racist they think everybody's a homophobe everybody's a nazi and it used it used to be that it was it was 0.85

00:12:26.980 laughable that yeah yeah i got it oh i'm a racist now that trump is gone this is the constant drumbeat 0.78

00:12:35.820 it is everywhere i i urge you listen to the daily listen to uh what is it first the first news or

00:12:45.160 whatever npr is morning maybe it's morning edition uh listen to that i listened this morning to npr i i've

00:12:52.760 i've he was like i was in an alternate reality and i've listened to them every day for a long time

00:12:59.480 and it's just getting worse and worse and worse just half the country is just a nazi

00:13:06.600 it is not good now it will because of this with the hyatt who's going to take c-pack

00:13:17.160 who's going to take these people yeah you can't they are cutting you off from everything and it is

00:13:26.260 really important that they do that they need to make sure that we cannot congregate that we cannot

00:13:33.160 get together that our voices never rich reach a tipping point that our reach never goes beyond

00:13:40.760 15 percent once you hit around 15 you're at a tipping point so they've got to close all of these

00:13:48.520 avenues down in large gatherings and all close all avenues down in all social media that's what's

00:13:57.200 happening gang pray for our country and you must stand in your own way you must stand peacefully you

00:14:08.860 must not in my opinion i won't stay at a hyatt hotel and i am going to tweet this morning shame on you 0.66

00:14:19.780 hyatt you have lost a a customer forever this is wrong and i will not stay silent about it

00:14:31.000 you're listening to the best of the glenn beck program

00:14:36.940 well let me give you a couple more stories about the country that you are now living in

00:14:49.760 the reason why i'm doing this is to wake people up to make sure they understand this isn't a joke

00:14:57.080 this is not funny anymore and this is real you are not living in the america that you

00:15:07.420 you grew up in but you're not even living in the america that you thought you had six months ago

00:15:14.060 and when this all comes to register with you and your friends and your family it will be too late

00:15:23.280 they have now banned six books from dr seuss

00:15:30.720 dr seuss you can no longer um you can no longer print these six books if i ran a zoo

00:15:43.800 and to think i saw it on mulberry street beyond zebra scrambled egg super the cat's quizzer

00:15:53.800 this according to a panel of educators and experts

00:15:59.900 they are banning dr seuss books how much more do you need to see before

00:16:13.680 all of america wakes up and goes this is fascism this is fascism you don't destroy books

00:16:25.180 what is wrong with us america

00:16:28.960 go out and buy those books today find out if you can get them

00:16:37.060 buy mr and mrs potato head because it's the end of an era it is the end of freedom in america

00:16:48.520 where you are bullied to the point to where you better not have that book

00:16:54.200 by the way amazon you know that nazi loving company

00:17:03.640 we all know what jeff bezos really believes they've come out with a new logo for their app

00:17:15.380 it's it's too similar to the look of hitler it looks like hitler now when you think of amazon with 0.69

00:17:25.300 the smiley face you think i never saw hitler smile well that's just because you're a racist and you don't see

00:17:35.720 what the amazon logo for their app really is it's an ode to hitler

00:17:41.700 it had like the end of like a blue ribbon

00:17:45.900 up in the center of the the tile for the app and then it had the amazon smiley face down towards the lower third

00:17:56.860 so people saw that and went

00:18:01.280 that blue thing up at the top looks like a hitler mustache which it doesn't

00:18:07.920 which it doesn't

00:18:08.900 because it's so close to his lip which it isn't

00:18:16.160 they're completely it's too far

00:18:17.660 i don't know if you've seen a human face before

00:18:21.460 but the end of his mustache

00:18:24.020 that would if that were his face and they were trying to make it look like that

00:18:28.340 it would put his the bottom of his mustache in the middle of his nose

00:18:32.400 it's too far away from the smiley face to be a mustache

00:18:36.600 it's an app title

00:18:40.520 that's all it is is a as a tile for an app 0.86

00:18:44.040 for amazon and that looks too much like hitler are you insane

00:18:51.460 they changed it

00:18:53.380 they changed it

00:18:54.980 yes amazon is insane

00:18:58.140 amazon wants to make sure that everyone knows that their logo doesn't look like hitler

00:19:05.520 oh my god

00:19:10.100 oh that i had the voice of an angel and could shake people awake

00:19:23.740 pope francis came out yesterday and he said

00:19:35.340 if we don't stop global warning warming

00:19:38.120 those rising temperatures could cause another great flood

00:19:42.080 i'd welcome it now franny 0.68

00:19:46.700 i'd welcome it

00:19:49.080 pope francis

00:19:53.000 first of all uh global temperatures didn't cause the great flood

00:19:58.460 if you're the pope you should know it was caused by god

00:20:01.960 you know nearly a third of americans now say

00:20:13.080 they want to break up the union into like-minded countries

00:20:16.520 five like-minded countries

00:20:18.680 that's the that's the latest poll

00:20:22.140 i am not one of them

00:20:24.480 i refuse to secede

00:20:27.580 those who don't want to abide by the constitution

00:20:31.480 you can secede

00:20:33.440 you are taking this country over in a hostile attempt 0.73

00:20:38.540 you don't want to abide by the constitution

00:20:42.760 look at the money it takes them

00:20:45.360 look at the time it has taken them

00:20:47.660 to force this on people

00:20:50.740 now look at the time it took us to go from

00:20:54.440 a flip phone

00:20:55.980 to an iphone

00:20:57.720 you didn't need billions of dollars

00:21:01.380 and indoctrination camps

00:21:04.020 and shutting flip phone 0.99

00:21:05.720 we've got to shut motorola up

00:21:08.120 motorola keeps advertising

00:21:09.840 they keep saying their phone's better

00:21:11.380 it's a flip phone

00:21:12.820 they're lying to people

00:21:14.180 that's misinformation

00:21:15.100 we gotta shut them down

00:21:17.620 motorola 1.00

00:21:18.460 we're coming for you in that damn blackberry 1.00

00:21:20.540 hopefully you will learn by the lesson 1.00

00:21:22.540 we're gonna teach motorola

00:21:23.780 they didn't do that

00:21:25.880 why

00:21:26.280 because it was better

00:21:27.480 if it's better

00:21:29.600 you don't have to force things

00:21:32.900 a third of americans want to break up the united states

00:21:41.620 i'm sorry i could go off on a rant here

00:21:46.300 i think it was the washington post

00:21:47.440 it was

00:21:48.000 who was it this weekend that said that i was

00:21:50.620 that glenn beck and his company are leading the charts

00:21:53.760 no

00:21:54.160 no i'm not

00:21:54.980 i'm against it

00:21:56.380 do you know what civil war actually means

00:22:00.520 do you know what secession actually would look like

00:22:05.420 it would be a nightmare

00:22:07.580 i just mentioned this because i just wanna

00:22:13.140 i just wanna

00:22:14.420 just like to give you this article

00:22:17.920 for a decade russian academic

00:22:22.140 igor panarin

00:22:24.080 has been predicting the u.s. will fall apart in 2010

00:22:27.620 this article is from the 1990s

00:22:31.800 wall street journal

00:22:32.920 for most of that time

00:22:34.600 he admits

00:22:35.380 few took his argument

00:22:36.820 that an economic and moral collapse

00:22:38.800 will trigger a civil war

00:22:40.180 and the eventual breakup of the u.s. very seriously

00:22:43.240 now he's found an eager audience

00:22:45.900 russian state media

00:22:47.660 in recent weeks

00:22:49.120 he's been interviewed

00:22:49.920 as much as twice a day

00:22:51.360 about his predictions

00:22:52.160 it's a record

00:22:53.280 said the professor

00:22:54.240 but i think the attention

00:22:55.920 is going to grow even stronger

00:22:57.660 its bleak forecast for the u.s.

00:23:01.600 is music to the ears of the kremlin

00:23:03.840 which in recent years

00:23:05.220 has blamed washington

00:23:06.180 for everything from the instability

00:23:07.500 in the middle east

00:23:08.300 to the global financial crisis

00:23:10.180 mr panarin's views

00:23:11.700 fit neatly with the kremlin's narrative

00:23:14.200 that russia is returning 0.96

00:23:15.380 to its rightful place

00:23:16.700 on the world stage

00:23:18.100 after the weakness of the 1990s

00:23:20.160 a polite and cheerful man

00:23:21.980 with a buzz cut

00:23:22.780 mr panarin insists

00:23:23.960 he does not dislike americans

00:23:25.680 but he warns the outlook for them

00:23:27.780 is dire

00:23:28.600 there's a 55-45 chance right now

00:23:32.160 that disintegration will occur

00:23:34.180 one could rejoice in that process

00:23:36.900 but if we're talking reasonably

00:23:38.520 it's not the best scenario for russia

00:23:40.540 though russia would become more powerful

00:23:43.000 on the global stage

00:23:43.980 its economy would suffer

00:23:45.700 because it currently depends heavily

00:23:47.520 on the dollar

00:23:48.120 and the trade with the u.s.

00:23:50.660 mr panarin says

00:23:51.840 mass immigration

00:23:53.020 economic decline

00:23:54.320 and moral degradation

00:23:55.820 would trigger a civil war

00:23:58.020 and the collapse of the dollar

00:24:00.400 he says it should happen

00:24:02.840 around the end of 2010

00:24:04.500 it will break apart

00:24:06.680 in six pieces

00:24:08.760 but the sixth is alaska

00:24:10.760 reverting to russian control

00:24:13.100 this guy was in the kgb

00:24:17.040 this i mean

00:24:18.120 there's the california republic

00:24:22.400 be part of china

00:24:24.560 or under chinese influence

00:24:26.300 well you got swalwell there

00:24:28.520 and fang fang 0.89

00:24:29.500 so he got that one down

00:24:30.680 that's arizona

00:24:32.620 utah

00:24:33.140 idaho

00:24:33.620 washington

00:24:34.120 oregon nevada california

00:24:36.200 then you have the central north

00:24:38.260 american republic

00:24:39.420 part of canada

00:24:40.600 or under canadian influence

00:24:42.280 montana wyoming

00:24:43.780 colorado

00:24:44.460 kansas

00:24:45.120 nebraska

00:24:46.200 south dakota

00:24:46.760 north dakota

00:24:47.380 minnesota

00:24:47.880 iowa

00:24:48.520 missouri

00:24:49.300 illinois

00:24:49.920 in

00:24:50.460 indiana

00:24:52.200 ohio

00:24:52.820 michigan

00:24:53.360 wisconsin

00:24:54.600 then you have the texas republic

00:24:58.020 that would be under the mexican influence 0.89

00:25:02.680 new mexico texas oklahoma arkansas

00:25:05.720 louisiana mississippi

00:25:07.260 alabama georgia and florida

00:25:09.960 if i haven't mentioned your state

00:25:12.260 you're either in alaska which goes back to russia they say

00:25:15.700 or the atlantic america that will join the european union

00:25:20.400 people laughed at him for saying i remember

00:25:25.560 we i i asked my researcher to go find this in the archives because i talked about this 20

00:25:30.680 22 years ago

00:25:32.260 and i said don't don't laugh

00:25:34.840 i think this guy might be on to something

00:25:37.280 he's wrong on the timing

00:25:44.080 but is he that wrong about

00:25:46.500 breaking us up

00:25:48.060 the collapse of a dollar

00:25:49.600 disintegration of our morals

00:25:52.380 not knowing our history

00:25:55.040 lack of belief

00:25:56.540 in our institutions

00:25:57.740 i don't think he's wrong

00:26:01.540 and every day i pray for a way

00:26:05.800 how do we avoid it

00:26:07.240 because as he said

00:26:13.460 a lot of people will cheer for this

00:26:15.540 but they have no idea

00:26:17.000 how bad it will be

00:26:18.860 he said you have no idea how bad it will be for the russian republic

00:26:22.140 because they depend too much on the u.s dollar

00:26:24.300 well they don't depend that much on the u.s dollar anymore do they

00:26:28.360 because russia and china

00:26:31.000 started dumping their dollars

00:26:33.320 and they're looking for new assets

00:26:35.680 they're going for a basket of currency

00:26:37.980 the whole world is going for that

00:26:41.180 it's only a matter of time

00:26:43.740 before the rest of the world says

00:26:45.000 we don't need them

00:26:45.900 this is why

00:26:51.440 the great reset is happening

00:26:53.660 because people

00:26:54.740 who have things to lose

00:26:56.940 they are looking for

00:27:00.160 what's next

00:27:01.360 i'm going to show you

00:27:04.420 the only ones that are going to lose

00:27:05.820 are the people that don't have really anything to lose

00:27:08.220 you

00:27:09.180 everybody else is going to be fine

00:27:13.300 but

00:27:13.520 those who have

00:27:15.020 you know millions and billions of dollars

00:27:17.260 they're going to be fine

00:27:18.100 they're fine

00:27:19.120 but the

00:27:21.880 the consumer

00:27:23.780 the worker

00:27:26.520 you're the one being left out in the cold

00:27:29.800 this is the best of the glenbeck program

00:27:36.640 i mean one of the greatest names of all time belongs to an oklahoma state senator his name is shane jet

00:27:55.680 yeah

00:27:57.220 uh shane welcome to the program

00:27:59.520 how are you

00:28:00.140 i'm good glen

00:28:01.840 how are you

00:28:02.420 very good

00:28:03.040 very good

00:28:03.640 uh so

00:28:04.420 you are standing up

00:28:06.540 thank goodness

00:28:07.600 uh in oklahoma

00:28:09.020 and you are putting together a bill

00:28:11.940 that would ban critical race theory from being taught in school

00:28:15.880 tell me about this

00:28:17.320 so uh senate bill 803

00:28:20.780 is uh

00:28:22.260 basically prohibits

00:28:23.320 public schools and charter schools

00:28:24.640 paid for by tax dollars

00:28:26.060 to 0.55

00:28:26.620 abuse our children 0.98

00:28:28.020 by teaching them that they're racist 0.67

00:28:29.640 uh

00:28:30.380 or a victim

00:28:31.060 based on the color of their skin

00:28:32.520 so

00:28:32.940 it's a divisive concept

00:28:34.760 that is designed to

00:28:35.980 create distrust

00:28:37.500 between students

00:28:38.660 um

00:28:39.280 and also

00:28:39.940 fundamentally

00:28:40.900 to make them distrust

00:28:42.080 our system of government

00:28:43.120 so shane

00:28:44.120 is this coming from you

00:28:45.700 and a bunch of politicians

00:28:46.860 or

00:28:47.460 are you hearing an outcry

00:28:49.340 from

00:28:49.920 parents

00:28:50.900 uh

00:28:52.660 my first

00:28:53.300 uh call that i got about this

00:28:54.960 was from

00:28:55.600 a uh

00:28:56.440 constituent out of luther oklahoma

00:28:57.880 and

00:28:58.880 uh

00:28:59.140 whenever i introduced the bill

00:29:00.480 um

00:29:01.100 i started getting calls from

00:29:02.500 parents and teachers

00:29:03.880 as well as other

00:29:05.000 uh

00:29:05.640 fellow republican legislators

00:29:07.040 who are hearing it from their district

00:29:08.580 they don't want this taught in oklahoma

00:29:10.480 they know it's being taught

00:29:11.460 in

00:29:12.200 california

00:29:13.140 and new york

00:29:13.780 in the public school level

00:29:14.800 it always starts at the university level

00:29:16.720 and it's already being taught

00:29:17.960 at the university of oklahoma

00:29:19.280 so

00:29:19.560 boomer sooners need to hold 1.00

00:29:21.040 their university accountable as well

00:29:22.400 so

00:29:23.060 what is

00:29:23.680 what are the odds of this passing

00:29:25.300 so

00:29:27.180 it's it's a

00:29:28.040 it's a heavy lift

00:29:28.900 i'm getting

00:29:29.240 some opposition

00:29:30.200 um

00:29:31.020 for the most part

00:29:32.360 my republican colleagues

00:29:33.560 concur with the bill

00:29:34.560 um

00:29:35.280 but they've expressed some concern

00:29:36.700 about being called a racist

00:29:37.720 my answer to that is

00:29:39.020 you're a republican

00:29:39.940 you're already being called a racist 0.90

00:29:41.320 racist has pretty much

00:29:42.340 lost its meaning

00:29:43.180 because if you stand against

00:29:44.680 the liberal agenda

00:29:45.340 especially the marxist agenda

00:29:46.600 that's their go-to slur

00:29:48.120 now

00:29:50.100 one of the oppositions

00:29:51.220 is that

00:29:52.080 they don't think it's the place

00:29:53.620 because republicans believe

00:29:54.920 in smaller government

00:29:56.020 and local control

00:29:56.980 i don't believe it's the place

00:29:58.440 for

00:29:58.920 uh

00:29:59.700 legislators to mandate

00:30:00.880 curriculum in the classroom

00:30:02.140 and usually i agree with that

00:30:03.500 local control is an important issue

00:30:04.940 with republicans

00:30:05.740 but

00:30:06.280 standing up for the constitution

00:30:08.120 is our first oath of office

00:30:09.840 and this this this

00:30:11.720 critical race theory

00:30:12.720 is based

00:30:13.300 and rooted in marxism

00:30:14.460 is fundamentally opposed

00:30:16.180 to the very constitution

00:30:17.260 that we swore an oath to

00:30:18.500 yeah you know

00:30:19.280 conservatives are having a

00:30:20.860 we're in a real pickle

00:30:21.880 because

00:30:22.280 the constitution

00:30:23.360 is being subverted

00:30:24.680 in our schools

00:30:26.100 which as you say

00:30:27.000 we'd like local control

00:30:28.960 um

00:30:29.860 but it's also being subverted

00:30:31.140 by giant corporations

00:30:32.480 and

00:30:32.940 i've always been on the side

00:30:34.620 of you know

00:30:35.360 freedom

00:30:35.780 uh

00:30:36.420 of the market

00:30:37.160 and corporations

00:30:38.140 can do what they want

00:30:39.060 but they are subverting

00:30:40.860 our constitution

00:30:42.240 at this point

00:30:43.240 and

00:30:43.840 we have to make

00:30:45.220 a decision here

00:30:46.140 on what we're going to do

00:30:47.360 and how we can still

00:30:48.440 be constitutional

00:30:49.440 and defenders of the constitution

00:30:51.440 uh

00:30:52.360 and stop this

00:30:53.840 i couldn't agree more

00:30:56.200 i've actually

00:30:56.820 um

00:30:57.280 authored another piece

00:30:58.260 of the legislation

00:30:58.940 that allows

00:30:59.600 class action law

00:31:00.660 suits against

00:31:01.700 uh

00:31:02.280 tech giants

00:31:02.900 who suppress or censor

00:31:04.160 for political reasons

00:31:05.160 um

00:31:05.900 their users

00:31:06.480 on their platform

00:31:07.280 um

00:31:07.880 i've also co-authored

00:31:08.760 another bill

00:31:09.240 that does

00:31:09.560 a similar thing

00:31:10.160 as well

00:31:10.560 so

00:31:10.760 we're trying

00:31:11.480 to

00:31:11.640 we know

00:31:12.140 there's an onslaught

00:31:13.000 against

00:31:13.420 uh

00:31:13.920 basic american

00:31:14.820 principles

00:31:15.320 against

00:31:15.720 the constitutional

00:31:16.680 form of government

00:31:17.460 um

00:31:18.100 we have to figure

00:31:18.780 out what they're doing

00:31:19.440 and then to

00:31:19.940 figure out

00:31:20.660 how to combat it

00:31:22.000 because they don't

00:31:22.540 disclose their

00:31:23.140 their philosophy

00:31:24.400 on the front end

00:31:25.060 they

00:31:25.240 they

00:31:25.520 they

00:31:25.800 get into

00:31:26.760 corporate

00:31:27.180 boardrooms

00:31:28.120 they get into

00:31:28.500 classrooms

00:31:28.880 they get into

00:31:29.300 universities

00:31:29.760 and then they

00:31:30.580 start trying

00:31:31.260 to usher in

00:31:32.540 an anti-american

00:31:33.940 propaganda

00:31:34.380 using our

00:31:35.380 very institutions

00:31:36.060 of democracy

00:31:36.760 um

00:31:37.780 to try to

00:31:38.440 erode

00:31:38.880 the very

00:31:39.320 system

00:31:39.760 of our

00:31:40.380 constitutional

00:31:40.920 report

00:31:41.160 all right

00:31:41.360 so

00:31:41.700 you have

00:31:43.120 you're banning

00:31:44.020 the teaching

00:31:44.600 of this

00:31:45.220 but i've been

00:31:46.200 told by several

00:31:47.380 teachers

00:31:47.860 in for instance

00:31:48.840 in california

00:31:49.680 it doesn't matter

00:31:50.940 because we'll be

00:31:52.760 trained in it

00:31:53.440 and we'll

00:31:54.040 teach it

00:31:54.880 in our own

00:31:55.500 way

00:31:55.860 not just

00:31:56.480 from the

00:31:56.880 course

00:31:57.200 we'll slip

00:31:57.720 it in

00:31:58.200 so um

00:32:00.320 so we

00:32:00.800 initially i just

00:32:01.960 prohibited in law

00:32:02.980 but then i went

00:32:03.720 back because of

00:32:04.420 that and

00:32:05.440 i put in a

00:32:06.560 section of my

00:32:07.060 law that

00:32:07.660 uh

00:32:08.360 subject to the

00:32:09.420 provision of

00:32:09.860 teacher due

00:32:10.320 process act

00:32:11.040 of 1990

00:32:11.680 a teacher may

00:32:12.420 be dismissed

00:32:12.900 or not employed

00:32:13.980 for teaching

00:32:14.540 instructing or

00:32:15.200 training any

00:32:15.720 student to

00:32:16.540 believe any of

00:32:17.320 these divisive

00:32:17.940 concepts set

00:32:18.640 forth in

00:32:19.060 subsection a

00:32:20.240 of this

00:32:20.680 section so

00:32:21.740 um we put

00:32:22.460 teeth in it

00:32:23.720 the chance of

00:32:25.700 this basically

00:32:26.260 go ahead

00:32:27.180 basically this

00:32:27.960 is this is

00:32:28.600 this is standing

00:32:29.160 up for children

00:32:29.920 um for what i

00:32:31.500 believe is

00:32:32.280 is psychological

00:32:32.860 abuse and child

00:32:33.820 abuse i agree

00:32:34.720 um the chance

00:32:36.660 that this actually

00:32:37.540 passes

00:32:38.220 so uh what

00:32:41.420 you know i was

00:32:41.900 i served uh

00:32:42.540 six years in the

00:32:43.060 oakland house of

00:32:43.620 representatives a

00:32:44.280 decade ago

00:32:44.880 um what we know

00:32:46.060 is that until

00:32:46.880 sine die which is

00:32:47.840 latin for i think

00:32:48.500 the last day um

00:32:49.980 which is the

00:32:50.640 28th of may

00:32:51.700 anything can

00:32:52.620 happen between

00:32:53.220 now and then

00:32:53.900 the berry that

00:32:54.700 we first ran

00:32:55.300 into was uh

00:32:56.580 getting a committee

00:32:57.240 hearing uh for

00:32:58.580 on the senate

00:32:59.140 side uh but

00:33:00.300 you can take

00:33:01.000 and move

00:33:01.520 legislation and

00:33:02.540 language in and

00:33:03.320 out of bills and

00:33:04.100 amendments so

00:33:04.760 we're uh i'm not

00:33:05.820 going to disclose

00:33:06.240 what we're going

00:33:06.680 to do but uh

00:33:07.560 this isn't dead

00:33:08.340 until may 28th

00:33:09.900 what are the

00:33:11.740 odds that it

00:33:12.440 passes are you

00:33:13.180 confident that

00:33:13.840 it's got it got

00:33:14.520 a real chance

00:33:15.280 i believe um

00:33:17.820 due to the

00:33:18.680 power of the

00:33:19.220 glenn beck show

00:33:20.080 and other

00:33:20.660 conservative mediums

00:33:21.980 uh social media

00:33:22.820 of course shuts us

00:33:23.580 down when we try

00:33:24.140 to post about it

00:33:24.900 um i believe the

00:33:26.060 grassroot support

00:33:27.100 is there if we

00:33:28.460 can get it to the

00:33:29.260 floor i believe

00:33:30.340 we'll have the uh

00:33:31.520 we'll have the

00:33:32.040 support uh

00:33:33.320 so what do you

00:33:34.140 pass it

00:33:34.660 what do you need

00:33:35.920 uh from the

00:33:37.300 audience in in

00:33:38.580 oklahoma

00:33:39.000 glenn i was waiting

00:33:41.020 for you to ask

00:33:41.460 that question

00:33:42.000 call your state

00:33:43.080 representative call

00:33:43.920 your state senator

00:33:44.720 and urge them to

00:33:46.320 protect kids in

00:33:47.740 public schools in

00:33:48.700 our charter schools

00:33:49.440 to make sure that

00:33:50.280 they're not taught

00:33:51.020 that they're racist

00:33:51.960 or a victim simply

00:33:53.300 by the color of

00:33:53.980 their skin um

00:33:55.240 that's the kind of

00:33:56.140 support because what

00:33:56.960 we find in politicians

00:33:58.440 tend to see the light

00:33:59.740 after they feel the

00:34:00.900 heat so let's build

00:34:02.140 the heat up and make

00:34:02.960 sure that uh that

00:34:03.940 that uh people in

00:34:05.400 oklahoma not just

00:34:06.120 oklahoma you have a

00:34:07.160 nationwide audience

00:34:07.940 yeah if you think

00:34:09.080 this is not coming

00:34:09.900 for you you are

00:34:11.020 wrong it starts in the

00:34:11.920 universities and it

00:34:13.040 marches itself into

00:34:14.040 the to the classroom

00:34:15.020 and even though it's

00:34:16.000 not taught in the

00:34:16.720 classroom um on the

00:34:18.500 curriculum teachers are

00:34:20.360 downloading it as

00:34:21.520 supplemental materials

00:34:22.580 yes they are and

00:34:23.840 thinking that they're

00:34:24.700 going to have a

00:34:25.780 legitimate platform to

00:34:26.880 talk about race in a

00:34:27.920 safe environment but

00:34:28.960 when you start drilling

00:34:29.640 down into what what

00:34:30.620 critical race theory

00:34:31.320 actually teaches it's

00:34:32.960 teaching them to be

00:34:33.920 racist it's teaching

00:34:35.380 them that one race is 0.98

00:34:36.800 superior to the other

00:34:37.560 and one has already

00:34:38.600 subjugated the other and

00:34:39.720 that you're racist by

00:34:40.680 virtue of the color of

00:34:41.540 your skin completing

00:34:42.460 ignoring the fact that

00:34:43.640 white republicans were

00:34:44.900 going down into

00:34:45.820 southern parts of the

00:34:47.580 united states registering

00:34:49.000 uh black voters to make 0.99

00:34:50.740 sure that they had a shot 0.93

00:34:52.120 at the american dream and

00:34:53.380 were being lynched and

00:34:54.200 killed and so when you 0.99

00:34:55.420 single out a white 0.99

00:34:56.300 student and say you're a 0.99

00:34:57.660 racist they may have in

00:34:59.120 their in their dna in

00:35:00.180 their background those

00:35:01.080 very activists that were

00:35:02.300 going out making sure that

00:35:03.680 we had a more perfect

00:35:04.820 union so you can't be a

00:35:07.080 racist by unilaterally

00:35:08.180 saying you're black you're 0.99

00:35:09.620 a victim you're a person 0.95

00:35:10.740 of color you have been 0.57

00:35:11.840 subjugated or you're white 0.85

00:35:13.160 and therefore you're a 0.98

00:35:13.960 racist this is fundamental 0.97

00:35:15.400 racism being taught at the

00:35:17.020 grade school level there you

00:35:18.640 would have to call rfk a

00:35:20.560 racist you'd have to call

00:35:21.660 anyone who marched with

00:35:23.080 martin luther king a racist

00:35:24.720 but that's not hard for them 0.90

00:35:26.360 to do now because they're

00:35:27.640 saying martin luther king is

00:35:28.840 wrong uh and uh it's not the

00:35:32.140 dream to uh have people just

00:35:34.660 judge you by the content of

00:35:36.020 your character which to me

00:35:37.300 is insanity um please

00:35:40.800 insanity please keep us up

00:35:42.680 to speed on that uh shane

00:35:45.000 jet you can uh follow him

00:35:47.000 at uh ok senate dot gov or
