00:00:00.000 Behind our nation's defense is a powerful network of Canadian communities,
00:00:03.920 supported by Lockheed Martin Canada.
00:00:06.240 It's a network of over 1,300 employees and over 1,000 local suppliers,
00:00:10.880 from small family businesses to major tech firms.
00:00:14.160 Together, we've delivered a $3.6 billion boost to the Canadian economy over the past five years.
00:00:20.000 That's money that goes to securing our skies, our oceans, and the place we call home.

00:00:30.000 All right, on today's podcast, I start with cyber attacks, a warning that is now coming
00:00:38.060 from Europe and again from England. Cyber attacks are on the rise and your refrigerator can be used
00:00:46.360 against you. I know this sounds so crazy, but governments are taking steps to warn their own
00:00:52.560 people. And I think we need to be prepared. If you're listening to this program, you're probably
00:00:57.840 one of those people that wants to be prepared so listen to this on cyber attacks the man in the
00:01:03.320 bunker also uh chip roy and ken paxton join me and steve dace host of the steve dace show uh who i'm
00:01:09.940 going to be joining tonight on blaze tv but i'm also going to be on daily wire i'm going to be
00:01:14.160 with patrick bett david uh with dave rubin tonight you can follow all of those guests with me if you
00:01:20.500 sign up to become an insider at glennbeck.com slash torch glennbeck.com slash torch we'll see
00:01:26.140 you tonight for the election. So I want to talk to you about something not about the election per
00:01:48.880 se. The election will affect all of this, but as you're getting ready to go out and vote,
00:01:53.780 hopefully today. Let me talk to you about the warnings that I have been issuing. I have some
00:01:58.720 more warnings for you. This is for anybody who, you know, is somebody who does not want to bury
00:02:04.100 their head in the sand. You cannot bury your head in the sand. The time to not pay attention is
00:02:08.920 over. You must now be prepared and we all have to be adults. And I know that's hard because you're
00:02:14.140 struggling and you're fighting for every scrap and you're like, you're at the gas pump and you're
00:02:19.360 When can I get a break?
00:02:21.340 I know, I know, I know how you feel. 0.99
00:02:24.640 But now is the time that try men's souls.
00:02:30.140 Now is the time we must be adults and we must look at this and we must prepare because so many people are not going to.
00:02:36.660 Let me tell you what's just happened.
00:02:39.180 Just a couple of days ago, we just found out phones all over Ukraine lit up.
00:02:44.080 They have an Air Raid app.
00:02:45.360 one of the this is one of them that the ukrainians really trust to tell them when to run
00:02:49.920 warn of you know bombings in the area etc etc chemical attacks fighting in the streets this
00:02:57.640 alert that came out late sunday said russia had launched a nuclear missile with a nuclear warhead
00:03:04.820 on it as you can imagine everybody starts to freak out none of it was true the app had been
00:03:10.620 hacked. Ukraine's air force had to go out and tell its own people there is no radiation threat.
00:03:17.860 It didn't happen. Yesterday, Zelensky confirmed Ukraine hit back. Russia's emergency app started
00:03:24.940 telling residents in Russia that nuclear warheads were on the way. Some messages told them to stock
00:03:30.460 up on food and get to a shelter. So the two nations at war, Ukraine and Russia, spent the weekend
00:03:37.580 And announcing to each other the end of the world was about to come for all of their civilians.
00:03:42.360 And they did it all from a keyboard.
00:03:45.180 Now, also the freezers.
00:03:47.200 We told you a little bit about this yesterday.
00:03:48.820 On October 12th, workers walked into supermarkets all across France, opened the freezers, and got hit with a blast of hot air.
00:03:56.520 Overnight, hackers had gotten into the refrigerators, into the controls, in more than 500 stores and cranked them up to 122 degrees.
00:04:05.920 One store in Normandy hit 176 degrees.
00:04:09.300 Some caught fire, sprinklers went off,
00:04:11.440 tens of millions of euros of food
00:04:13.940 had to go into the dumpster the next morning.
00:04:17.940 Every night, a supermarket freezer is defrosting
00:04:21.740 for a little while.
00:04:23.000 It's routine.
00:04:24.120 What the hackers did is they stretched that defrost
00:04:26.800 from one hour to eight,
00:04:28.440 so the alarms thought it was maintenance.
00:04:32.060 How did they get in?
00:04:33.260 One researcher said many of the freezers in the supermarkets now all across Europe have been running on the default password.
00:04:41.760 In August, freezers started failing at American military commissaries.
00:04:46.220 Fort Irwin, Naval Station in Newport, Travis, F.E. Warren in Wyoming, which happens to be a nuclear missile base.
00:04:53.920 Workers came into mounds of melted food.
00:04:56.640 Pentagon is now treating this as a suspected cyber attack, and Cyber Command is working with now the French. 0.87
00:05:05.920 Then it comes to the security world and what they're calling Black October. 0.88
00:05:11.660 On October 21st, I told you critical flaws have turned up in software that run huge share of our websites on Earth.
00:05:22.240 Europe's cyber responders told anyone who couldn't patch to pull their sites offline.
00:05:28.540 Government sites went dark.
00:05:30.140 Banks reported AI agents inside their customer accounts that nobody authorized.
00:05:35.400 Election officials are, you know, are now patching systems two weeks before the vote.
00:05:40.920 Some of our systems were attacked.
00:05:44.900 The Washington Post, this is the new update for you.
00:05:47.680 The Washington Post has just come out with an article and in the headline it says, anyone can be a super hacker now.
00:05:55.360 The world, according to the Washington Post, quoting, faces a cybersecurity reckoning.
00:06:02.500 At least nine major banks, nine major banks in South Korea have been hit.
00:06:09.820 Tens of thousands of people, financial data spilled online.
00:06:12.980 the likely culprit is not a spy agency it's just some 26 year old amateur who you know getting
00:06:19.440 help from chatbots new information in britain the defense secretary stood at a new tank factory
00:06:27.180 and told households to prepare for quoting increasingly sophisticated cyber attacks
00:06:33.640 have three this still quoting have three days of food and water keep some cash then he asked
00:06:40.840 how people will cope if the local supermarket couldn't take their payment or if their freezers go bad.
00:06:47.540 Last year, hackers hit Marks and Spencers and the co-op and the shelves went bare.
00:06:54.560 So here's the problem.
00:06:56.580 We are facing a time where there are fake alarms and real alarms.
00:07:02.820 But the real alarms are telling us it's fake alarms and the fake alarms are telling us that they're real.
00:07:08.300 That's the trouble.
00:07:10.840 So how do we solve all this? What do you do? Let me tell you a story. September 26, 1983. I don't know if you've heard this story before. I know I've told it before, but three weeks earlier, the Soviets had shot down a Korean airliner.
00:07:26.120 If you're my age, you remember it. 269 people, KAL 007. It included an American congressman. Moscow was convinced Reagan was looking for an excuse and the KGB was hunting for any sign of a first strike.
00:07:41.300 South of Moscow, in a bunker, a 44-year-old lieutenant, his name was Sanislav Petrov,
00:07:48.080 he was on duty, and his job was to watch new satellite systems that were built to see American missiles
00:07:54.300 the moment they left the ground, but it was all brand new technology.
00:07:57.220 It was after midnight, siren went off, red light lit up on the wall, launch.
00:08:03.080 One American missile, then another, then five.
00:08:07.720 The computer rated its own confidence at the highest level.
00:08:11.840 Now, Petrov's orders were simple.
00:08:13.900 He was supposed to pick up the phone and put it up the chain of command.
00:08:18.400 The men above him would then have minutes to decide whether they fire back.
00:08:22.420 He said later he felt like sitting in a hot frying pan,
00:08:26.820 and he asked himself this one question, why only five missiles?
00:08:31.360 Because if Americans were going to strike, they'd launch hundreds of,
00:08:34.680 If they were going to start a nuclear war, you wouldn't do it with five. 0.59
00:08:38.900 You'd set hundreds and hundreds of them.
00:08:41.220 You don't knock politely on the Kremlin's door and wait to see who answers.
00:08:46.320 So the ground radars hadn't confirmed anything, and the satellite system was brand new.
00:08:51.200 New things sometimes break.
00:08:52.440 So he picked up the phone, and he reported a malfunction.
00:08:56.060 Then he waited.
00:08:57.600 If he was wrong, the first warheads would have been landing in 20 minutes.
00:09:02.740 But nothing came.
00:09:04.680 The cause was sunlight.
00:09:05.980 The sun hit high clouds over the American planes at just the wrong angle,
00:09:10.520 and the satellite read the glares as rocket flare.
00:09:13.760 He wasn't given a medal.
00:09:15.500 He was actually given a reprimand because he didn't keep the logbook properly
00:09:20.400 in the middle of the night while he was saving the world.
00:09:24.660 The system had exposed and embarrassed some very important people,
00:09:29.720 so he's moved to a quieter post, and then he was retired.
00:09:32.300 and the world didn't learn his name for 15 years and when it did he kept saying the same thing
00:09:37.720 i'm not a hero i was just at the right place at the right time now most people tell that story
00:09:44.940 as the man who ignored the warning he didn't ignore it he tested it he knew what a real attack
00:09:51.680 would look like so he could then see what wasn't a real attack he stayed calm most people would
00:09:59.160 have panicked. Oh my gosh, nuclear war, they would have panicked. Now let me take you back to France
00:10:05.520 again. It's the Petrov story, except it's backward. In 1983, a fake attack looked real in France. A 0.87
00:10:12.000 real attack was dressed up to look routine, just the nightly defrost. The Soviet alarm screamed 0.70
00:10:18.940 while nothing was happening. The French alarm stayed quiet while everything was happening.
00:10:24.580 Even Black October had its Petrov moment.
00:10:27.540 Two days in, the Dutch cyber agency looked harder
00:10:30.120 and said the new flaws were tougher to exploit than anybody feared.
00:10:35.120 Somebody asked why. Why five? Why five?
00:10:39.840 That is the world we're walking into.
00:10:42.620 Your phone may tell you missiles are coming when they aren't.
00:10:45.760 Your freezer might tell you everything's fine when it isn't.
00:10:48.960 But people who panic at every alert will be stampeded by a kid with a chatbot.
00:10:58.720 Also, people who shrug at every alert wake up with a freezer full of soup.
00:11:05.020 So what I'm telling you is it's time for us to grow up.
00:11:09.500 The world is getting scarier and more serious every day.
00:11:13.640 something is on the horizon
00:11:15.840 and the world's governments
00:11:17.260 are telling all of their populations.
00:11:20.720 They are telling you.
00:11:22.840 I am telling you this
00:11:24.580 to be serious.
00:11:26.680 Now, serious is boring.
00:11:29.160 And that's the point of it all.
00:11:30.860 You shouldn't panic.
00:11:32.360 Food and water
00:11:33.460 in your house.
00:11:35.540 Britain says maintain three days.
00:11:38.200 I'd make it two weeks.
00:11:40.080 They say keep some cash in the drawer.
00:11:42.360 I'd have two weeks of cash.
00:11:43.840 What does it take to run your household for two weeks?
00:11:45.880 If you can, put it in a drawer someplace.
00:11:48.460 Make a paper list of all your phone numbers in case your phone goes dead.
00:11:53.560 Change the password on your router, your camera, your thermostat,
00:11:57.680 anything in your house that talks to the Internet.
00:12:00.480 Does your refrigerator have a chip in it, and is it talking to the Internet?
00:12:04.200 Because hundreds of French supermarkets were ruined by a password nobody bothered to change.
00:12:10.180 Turn on all your updates.
00:12:12.400 Learn your neighbor's names.
00:12:13.960 When the screens start lying, the person next door is your second opinion.
00:12:19.200 So when the next alert comes, and it will, do what Petroff did.
00:12:24.440 Don't run and don't shrug.
00:12:27.500 Does this look like the real thing?
00:12:29.420 Check a second source, then decide.
00:12:32.920 Being calm is not a feeling.
00:12:38.220 It's what preparation looks like from the outside.
00:12:44.060 Petrov had learned from years.
00:12:47.580 He learned that system before the night that it lied to him.
00:12:52.740 That's why he could hear the siren and go,
00:12:55.120 Mm-mm, something's wrong.
00:12:57.640 The work has to be done before the alarm.
00:13:01.780 He said, I was just one guy in the right place at the right time.
00:13:05.800 That's you.
00:13:07.080 You're going to be the right person at the right place at the right time if you're prepared.
00:13:13.140 We are going to continue to give you the warnings as they come in because I think they're going to be dismissed.
00:13:19.820 I think they're going to be overlooked.
00:13:22.180 And the world does not know what's coming.
00:13:25.620 I don't think our governments know what's coming yet.
00:13:28.360 You know, while Tucker Carlson is on saying, well, Trump is going to nuke the world.
00:13:32.580 He's not going to use a nuke.
00:13:34.540 If he uses a nuke, he gives permission for the Chinese to use a nuke in Taiwan. 0.76
00:13:41.880 He's not going to use a nuke.
00:13:44.320 If you know him at all, the one thing he knows is one nuke and the entire world is destroyed.
00:13:54.340 He knows it.
00:13:56.660 Stop listening to these people who have been wrong over and over and over and over again,
00:14:03.380 trying to play on your emotions. I'm telling you right now, remain calm. If you allow your
00:14:12.520 emotions to get out of control, you're going to make bad decisions. It's why I'm trying to stay
00:14:18.600 honestly pretty pessimistic today. I have great hope for this election, but I don't want to go
00:14:26.440 into it all excited and hyped up that things are going to be great or things are going to be
00:14:31.680 horrible. But I have to tell you, I'd rather think things are horrible. So tomorrow I'm prepared.
00:14:40.660 Tomorrow, emotionally, I'm prepared. Tonight, I'm prepared. That's all you have to do. You just have
00:14:47.480 to figure out what is the best way for you to deal with it. Because the time, and I hear this from a
00:14:52.340 lot of friends and a lot of people, Glenn, I just can't watch it anymore. It's too depressing. Well,
00:14:57.040 I'm sorry, that's not going to change the outcome.
00:14:59.600 And I understood that, and I still do,
00:15:02.300 but I understood that when you didn't have to pay attention.
00:15:06.940 The world is now far too serious and can change overnight.
00:15:13.360 As Thomas Paine said, these are the times that try men's souls.
00:15:18.380 Because heaven knows how to fix a proper price
00:15:21.680 to something as celestial as man's freedom.
00:15:27.040 That's what's at stake.
00:15:29.660 And I know you're fighting with just trying to get your kids to school
00:15:33.020 and get them away from crazy people.
00:15:35.420 I get it.
00:15:38.260 But your bigger responsibility is, A, today, go out and vote.
00:15:44.220 After all we can do, God will make up the rest.
00:15:47.420 But we must do our part first.
00:15:49.660 Second, pay attention to the warnings that are happening now from governments all over the world because something is coming.
00:16:02.020 And be a person that is calm and in control, and the way you do that is just to prepare mentally, physically, spiritually, and temporally.
00:16:14.440 Back in just a minute.
00:16:15.580 this is the best of the glenbeck program

00:17:28.280 This is the best of the Glenn Beck Program.
00:17:30.880 my good friend chip roy hey how you doing chip well good morning good to see you brother oh good
00:17:41.180 to see you uh how are you how are you feeling well i gotta tell you it's it's uh not a bad
00:17:47.780 thing to not be on the ballot this year uh but but uh but as an american and as somebody who
00:17:53.900 has so many good friends in this uh world in the in the congress and and obviously the
00:17:58.660 administration and watching what's happening. I've been playing, you know, paying a lot of
00:18:01.900 close attention. I've been going all over the state of Texas. I've been campaigning. I went
00:18:04.440 to Pennsylvania to campaign for Scott Perry. I'm going to be out at the polls just a little bit
00:18:08.180 to try to turn people out in Hayes County. I've been trying to do media hits. Look, I break this
00:18:12.540 down into sort of three categories. Category one is people showing up to defeat evil, to defeat
00:18:18.280 radical Marxism, to defeat Islamism, to defeat all the things we know that we're seeing out of 0.51
00:18:23.840 the Red Green Alliance and the left. The second bucket is that we should be celebrating all the 0.68
00:18:27.560 great things we've done. Securing the border, long-term permanent low taxes, big cuts to
00:18:33.300 mandatory spending, making sure that we've got a stronger military, recruitments up, etc.
00:18:38.420 The third bucket is the problem bucket. Things we haven't dealt with. Not dealing with Obamacare,
00:18:43.920 not dealing with the price of health care, of housing, of food, of gas and diesel. Messaging
00:18:49.240 that properly. I've been trying to meet people where they are, meet the American people where
00:18:53.000 they are and say, look, yeah, we've got more to do. It takes a while to undo decades of damage.
00:18:58.320 So I hope that's what cracks through. We'll watch the polls in Texas, but I know that Texas is going
00:19:03.460 to be decided today because we're going to have to have a massive turnout today in Texas from
00:19:10.160 MAGA supporters to ensure victory statewide and up and down the ballot in Texas.
00:19:15.860 So you think if there isn't a big turnout, it goes the other way?
00:19:20.740 If we don't win today strongly, yes, I think it's a very bad day in Texas.
00:19:25.460 If we win today, then I think we can win up and down the ballot.
00:19:29.600 I really do think it boils down to today and turnout where we need to see it.
00:19:33.860 So how are you, what are you hearing about turnout?
00:19:36.740 Hearing anything?
00:19:38.320 It's early right now.
00:19:39.580 I've seen a couple of returns from counties that matter, but I've not been able to dissect
00:19:43.400 the data to understand who's coming out, like which age brackets are coming out.
00:19:47.440 We've seen a very large turnout over the two weeks of early voting from a lot of voters who had not previously voted that we didn't see in Democrat or Republican primaries.
00:19:58.840 So we've got some newbies, you know, that are showing up.
00:20:01.540 We've seen a lot of turnout from younger generation.
00:20:04.320 You know, that's a factor.
00:20:06.080 A lot of Gen Xers that have turned out. 1.00
00:20:08.280 We've been lower with the older age group. 0.76
00:20:10.760 So I'm hopeful that we're going to get a big Republican wave from our older turnout, our older voters, our rural voters who traditionally still like to vote on Election Day. 0.51
00:20:20.060 So that's the hope. But, you know, we've got to watch the numbers. It's still early here at 9 a.m. in Texas.
00:20:25.100 You know, I'm concerned, Chip. I mean, Tal Rico is I mean, is an absolute sham and a lie.
00:20:33.520 Everything that he says that, you know, oh, I'm not for that.
00:20:37.180 The guy did a vegan campaign.
00:20:41.060 His campaign to get the nomination started with him saying this is all meat-free.
00:20:48.240 And now he's, you know, barbecued.
00:20:50.660 You know, he's got barbecue sauce on his face and a little bit on his shirt.
00:20:54.900 You know, the only thing they haven't done is have him butchering a cow
00:20:58.380 while saying that Jesus is the Christ and the risen. 0.95
00:21:01.520 When his church doesn't even believe that, I'm so fascinated by how so many people in our country can be duped like El Syed. 0.98
00:21:13.780 We know who he is. 0.93
00:21:15.540 All you have to do is watch the actions and watch the words in the actions before somebody was running, and you know who they are.
00:21:23.180 What's happening?
00:21:23.840 Well, you're not wrong.
00:21:24.680 You're not wrong at all.
00:21:25.660 I mean, look, these folks are telling you who they are.
00:21:28.460 We should believe them.
00:21:29.360 Yes.
00:21:29.640 You know, I'm one of those people, and I think you largely agree with this, that believes, you know, we are effectively at war, right? 0.96
00:21:35.580 There is a war raging with the Red-Green Alliance wanting to attack Western civilization, and that is a mix of Marxism, Islamism, and the whole thing. 0.90
00:21:43.220 And what we're seeing out of Tallarico is the embodiment of the sort of modern New Age Democrat, whatever you want to call it. 0.89
00:21:49.860 By the way, it's fully fraudulent, right?
00:21:52.180 They basically admit it, right?
00:21:53.940 It's like saying, well, he's saying all this stuff so he can try to win in Texas.
00:21:57.900 The problem is, I go back to my three buckets,
00:22:00.340 we can do a good job of branding Tallarico
00:22:03.120 and the rest of them as completely out of step with Texas.
00:22:06.360 We can do it, but we should do a better job
00:22:09.220 of talking about the great things we've done.
00:22:12.180 A secure border, legitimately, a really stronger military.
00:22:16.880 What we've seen with the mandatory spending,
00:22:18.800 we have the biggest welfare reform in our history,
00:22:21.440 the biggest cuts to government spending
00:22:23.200 in the history of the world.
00:22:25.300 These are all things that are baby steps
00:22:27.080 towards getting inflation and getting interest rates in check. The third bucket is where I'm
00:22:32.080 the most concerned, right, which is meeting the American voters where they are. None of them like
00:22:37.100 Tallarico, really. What's happening is where people are just frustrated. They're frustrated
00:22:42.100 about affordability. And so we just got to meet them where they are. And I'm hopeful, you know,
00:22:47.240 we've had some of that. Some of us have been trying over the last two weeks. Midterm elections
00:22:51.120 are what they are. But we got to remember that we're trying to change the trajectory of the
00:22:55.440 country, Glenn. We've been doing that for a while. This president has done it better than any of us
00:23:00.040 could have even predicted 12 years ago in terms of changing the trajectory. We've now got a rally
00:23:05.820 around that. I've got less than a minute here, Chip. Tell me, give me the pitch to somebody who
00:23:10.700 is frustrated, who feel Republicans let them down. I'm not going to go out and vote. Give me the pitch.
00:23:16.620 Why should they go out and vote? Well, look, you know, as we've always said, we have the worst
00:23:21.320 form of government except for all the others. And this Republican Party that's currently got
00:23:26.440 the majority and has had now for 21 months, we have made extraordinary changes. We have made
00:23:31.560 extraordinary steps forward. As I said, securing the border, the economy's trending in the right
00:23:36.040 direction, moving American manufacturing back, a stronger military enlistment and recruiting is up.
00:23:40.420 We're re-stabilized the Western Hemisphere. We're attacking the cartels. We're stopping fentanyl
00:23:44.600 from flowing into our communities. We've been rooting out all the woke garbage. But yes, 1.00
00:23:48.940 we have not gotten prices where they need to go. Yes, the president has picked a fight with Iran
00:23:53.620 because he's taking a hundred-year view to try to cut the head of the snake off over there. 1.00
00:23:57.460 Whether you agree with it or not, it was a reasonable thing to do. We have got to fight
00:24:01.760 hard over the next two years for the rest of this presidency to get prices down, to get housing
00:24:06.720 affordable, healthcare affordable, food affordable, gas and diesel prices down. We can do that. Let's
00:24:12.460 get a refining capacity up here. Let's do the right things for the country. Look, we can do it,
00:24:17.000 But you've got to let us finish the job.
00:24:18.560 That would be my pitch if I were on the ballot.
00:24:20.300 That's my pitch as an American, and that's my pitch as someone who has been working with the administration in Congress and still has two months left to try to finish the job through Christmas.
00:24:29.000 So, Chip, here's what I'd like to do.
00:24:30.800 I'd like to have you back on win or lose here this week and have you talk about what the Republicans should be doing and what's next for you.
00:24:40.600 Because you are one of the more powerful voices in Texas, and I'm bummed that you're not on the ballot this time.
00:24:47.000 but I'm interested in where you're going next as well.
00:24:50.620 So let's have you back on later this week.
00:24:52.540 Well, Glenn, I appreciate it.
00:24:53.500 God is good.
00:24:54.100 I've got plans.
00:24:55.180 We'll talk about what we'll do in January,
00:24:56.860 and I'll be on the blaze tonight watching the election night coverage
00:24:59.680 and look forward to talking again.
00:25:01.560 Thank you.
00:25:02.100 Appreciate it.
00:25:02.680 God bless.
00:25:03.000 All right.
00:25:03.440 Ken Paxton is up hopefully tomorrow.
00:25:05.360 I'll be able to say our next senator from Texas, Ken Paxton.
00:25:10.200 Hello, Ken.
00:25:10.700 How are you?
00:25:11.900 Good morning.
00:25:12.600 We're just trying to push Republicans out to vote
00:25:15.120 because we need a few more of them to vote today.
00:25:17.000 Yeah, I know. You know, I saw numbers that shows that Republicans are leading today early. There are more Republicans coming out. But just to make sure that we're ahead and to win, we need a lot more Republicans because we count on the Republicans coming out today, right?
00:25:38.260 Yes.
00:25:38.720 So the Democrats voted early.
00:25:40.680 They were actually ahead of us in the first two days of early voting by a lot.
00:25:43.960 And then we've slowly caught up.
00:25:45.920 But it comes down to today.
00:25:48.000 For Republicans that haven't voted yet, that are typical Republican voters, show up, we win.
00:25:53.060 If they don't, we've got a problem.
00:25:54.760 So why does it matter, Ken, that you're the guy and not Tallarico?
00:25:59.820 Oh, my gosh.
00:26:00.700 The difference between the two of us, it couldn't be more immense.
00:26:03.860 this idea of him being a socialist, Marxist, anti-constitutional guy who has nothing in common
00:26:11.820 with most Texans. He's more of a California guy. He represents the values of California.
00:26:17.060 And I'm a constitutional conservative, believe in free markets, believe in opportunity,
00:26:21.920 individual rights. And there's literally nothing we agree on. Although right now during the general
00:26:28.060 election, he switched every single one of his views and he's no longer for trans and kids.
00:26:33.620 He's no longer for boys and girls sports.
00:26:35.400 He's no longer for a state income tax.
00:26:36.960 He's no longer for he wants to secure the border.
00:26:39.960 He's not against the oil and gas industry trying to destroy it.
00:26:42.400 But previously, until he got into this general election, he actually voted for all of those things and even tried to pass bills to do some of those things.
00:26:49.920 So, you know, he's run a very dishonest campaign trying to deceive the voters because he knows that he cannot win if he tells the truth.
00:26:57.520 And so he hasn't told the truth about me or about him.
00:27:00.300 So what happens if he wins today to everything that we've done for border security here in Texas?
00:27:08.500 Well, it's, it's, it's, everything's going downhill.
00:27:11.280 First of all, we lose Texas.
00:27:12.920 We got a real problem for the whole country.
00:27:14.660 We can't afford to lose Texas to a guy, not just a regular old Democrat, run-of-the-mill Democrat. 0.87
00:27:20.080 This is a guy that is AOC, Mondani.
00:27:23.120 He called Mondani a template for all future American politicians.
00:27:27.220 Oh my gosh.
00:27:28.720 His words.
00:27:30.300 talk to me about the people who say i'm tired of i'm tired of voting for republicans because
00:27:40.820 nothing ever changes they let us down well i i mean all i can say is what i've accomplished i i
00:27:48.380 i've whether it was in the legislature or as attorney general i've pushed for the things i
00:27:53.160 i think are right and that i believe in that are related to the you know defending the constitution
00:27:58.000 protecting consumers in Texas
00:28:00.800 and fighting for conservative values.
00:28:03.060 I've done it my whole career
00:28:04.340 and I think it's easy to say.
00:28:06.980 It's harder to do
00:28:08.120 and I think you have to look
00:28:09.100 at what people actually do
00:28:10.220 and that's part of what I'm saying
00:28:11.440 about James Tallarico.
00:28:12.760 He's got this rhetoric now
00:28:14.420 that sounds very moderate
00:28:15.300 to conservative
00:28:15.880 but his record reflects
00:28:17.700 a very radical view
00:28:19.080 on everything.
00:28:20.560 So as far as Republicans,
00:28:23.060 I can't make every Republican
00:28:24.280 do the right thing
00:28:24.920 but I can be a part of the group
00:28:26.720 that pushes Republicans towards the right place.
00:28:31.020 When I was in the legislature,
00:28:32.300 was I successful at doing that every time?
00:28:34.020 No, but I certainly made my voice heard.
00:28:36.680 And sometimes I was successful
00:28:37.980 in moving it down in the right direction.
00:28:41.380 I will tell you, if you listen to this program,
00:28:43.960 you know how I feel about Ken
00:28:46.660 and his service as attorney general.
00:28:48.660 I don't think there was an attorney general.
00:28:50.840 There was only two of them.
00:28:52.100 What's his name is now a senator from Missouri.
00:28:56.080 And there's only two of you guys in the country that we're actually doing, I think, the constitutional heavy lifting for the entire country.
00:29:05.260 And we need you in the Senate.
00:29:07.460 You were talking about Tallarico.
00:29:10.620 His girlfriend's family now says he's lying.
00:29:14.480 This is from O'Keefe Media.
00:29:15.920 Let me play this clip.
00:29:16.940 I'd love to hear your comments.
00:29:18.600 James isn't going.
00:29:19.920 He's not going middle.
00:29:21.360 He's a progressive.
00:29:22.460 Don't put too much stock into border security comments.
00:29:27.460 I'm a border security Democrat.
00:29:29.060 He's offended by ICE and the Gestapo.
00:29:33.740 He and I have spoken about these issues. 1.00
00:29:35.780 He said he thinks we ought to have to welcome that 0.99
00:29:38.740 out of our border.
00:29:39.980 Yeah, I mean, I felt like he changed.
00:29:42.540 Like it's like 180 degrees.
00:29:45.860 Do you think he's not flipping
00:29:48.500 but it's just for political, to get voters?
00:29:52.060 Yeah, I don't know why he said it that way, to be honest with you.
00:29:56.480 I think he said it awkwardly, but yeah, I think he was probably just trying to push to the center.
00:30:01.300 Because that is, you know, sadly, life in Texas.
00:30:06.600 And that is, you know, because I tell people, I'm one of the most liberal people you'll ever meet.
00:30:12.680 But we've got to get, and I'm not saying I would compromise my principles, but we've got to get elected.
00:30:20.360 Any comment on that?
00:30:22.060 Yeah, that sums him up the entire campaign. He's got to get elected. So he lies about his positions. He runs commercials saying, oh, I can't believe they think Ken Pax is lying about me saying I'm for transitioning children and I'm for boys and girls sports.
00:30:35.880 well guess what he voted for all of that and he talked about it often it was a big part of you
00:30:41.660 know what he what he pushed in the legislature and what he talked about in in interviews so
00:30:46.780 you know he's he's a con man and he's lying about all of his positions right now because he's got
00:30:52.200 to get elected and then he can go back and be the mandani of of texas and that's what he will be i
00:30:57.300 promise you if republicans don't take this seriously we're going to end up with a mandani
00:31:01.500 in the U.S. Senate from Texas, canceling out every vote that Ted Cruz makes and making sure
00:31:06.780 that we don't have any good judges, federal judges from Texas, because he can blue slip them.
00:31:10.860 Okay. Let me ask you, you get into the Senate. How are you going to hold the squishy Republicans
00:31:17.840 feet to the fire on things like the SAVE Act? Well, I mean, to me, that's like, first of all,
00:31:23.140 the most important bill that I've seen in decades, because we don't fix the elections
00:31:27.080 nationwide and allow these democratic states to cheat we're going to lose the country anyway so
00:31:33.500 i'm gonna i mean i'm pretty serious about that i i want to understand why any republican would
00:31:39.160 not be for that i i guess first i'm going to have conversations like what can you say to me that
00:31:45.200 says explains why you would not want to protect our elections from voter fraud and if they try
00:31:51.580 to tell me there is no voter fraud i'm gonna say look i know there is because i prosecuted in texas
00:31:55.680 just because they don't prosecute in your state
00:31:57.680 doesn't mean you don't have voter fraud.
00:31:58.960 You do.
00:32:03.320 Ken, praying for you.
00:32:05.580 Praying for this election.
00:32:06.960 Praying for the great state of Texas.
00:32:08.960 Good luck.
00:32:09.760 We'll talk to you later.
00:32:11.200 Anything like that.
00:32:11.940 I appreciate it.
00:32:13.420 Ken Paxton.
00:32:15.720 It is going to be so close.
00:32:18.300 I've talked to people off air
00:32:19.840 who said this is within one point right now.
00:32:24.720 The way everybody's polling internally is all coming within one point.
00:32:31.060 If Republicans don't show up today in Texas, you will lose the battle.
00:32:36.520 You will.
00:32:37.460 And you will have. 0.96
00:32:39.060 You'll have one of the squishiest, worst liberal out of Texas. 0.91
00:32:45.040 Out of Texas.
00:32:46.900 I mean, you'll lose.
00:32:48.060 You really will lose the Texas badge. 1.00
00:32:51.260 And I think it's because you have 7% of newcomers coming in, 7%. 0.99
00:32:57.920 The population of Texas has grown by 7% in the last four years.
00:33:03.080 You're losing what it means to be Texas.
00:33:06.900 You've got to get out and vote.
00:33:09.700 Please do it.
00:33:10.660 And join us with my coverage.
00:33:12.520 I'm going to be at glenbeck.com slash torch tonight.
00:33:15.320 And like I said, I'm going to be with the Daily Wire crew, The Blaze, Patrick Bet-David, Dave Rubin.
00:33:21.260 All of them.
00:33:21.980 See all of my interviews and so much more.
00:33:24.040 Kind of a second screen experience at glennbeck.com slash torch.
00:33:28.000 Make sure you join me election night.
00:33:31.320 Crying, laughing, vomiting, who knows, tonight on Torch.
00:33:41.240 This is the best of the Glenn Beck program, and we really want to thank you for listening.
00:33:51.260 You know, certain headlines kind of remind you of just how bad human beings are at predicting
00:33:57.600 what they'll need to be prepared for. Here's one. A lab worker in Russia died anti-plague
00:34:02.880 laboratory. Nearly 200 people have been quarantined. The suspected disease is mnemonic
00:34:07.660 plague, which can spread from person to person rapidly. The risk to Americans right now, very,
00:34:13.800 very low. But that's not the point. You don't prepare because you know what the next emergency
00:34:18.420 will be you prepare because you don't that's one reason i appreciate the jace medical and jace case
00:34:23.900 this jace case gives you a supply of prescribed emergency medications to have on hand along with
00:34:29.520 information about how and when they should be used here's what caught me my attention about
00:34:33.880 this story when caught early plague can be treated with common antibiotics that already come standard
00:34:38.720 in the jace case i'm not telling you plague is coming to your house it's not nobody knows that
00:34:43.100 if or when and i don't think it is but jace.com use the promo code beck and be prepared for
00:34:48.160 anything jace.com promo code beck this is the best of the glenn beck program and we really
00:34:58.680 want to thank you for listening welcome to steve day steve how are you my man i am doing well
00:35:08.600 brother how are you always you know me i always love clarity and we're gonna get some clarity
00:35:12.480 today yeah well give me bad clarity over lack of clarity just give me clarity uh i have more
00:35:18.420 optimism in the el syed race than i do in the texas race i mean it could go either way in
00:35:28.540 either of those states and i think it's going to be close but i at least see some people that are
00:35:34.740 on the other side going i can't vote for that in texas i have no idea and we have gained seven
00:35:40.520 percent in our population and most of it's from california what are your thoughts on texas so
00:35:46.120 when i i took four states because that's all i was going to have the time for and i wanted to
00:35:51.040 have some geographical diversity so i went and did a deep dive on early voting in four states
00:35:55.960 here leading up to tonight and that was ohio uh michigan texas and my home state of iowa
00:36:00.860 and i i came out of it um less worried about michigan and iowa and more worried about texas
00:36:07.940 in Ohio and I think what's happened in Michigan is they've suffered for a decade under Gretchen
00:36:15.360 Whitmer and the right in Michigan has been very divided going back to the Tea Party Romney split
00:36:20.800 from 2012 it's never really recovered but they've lost enough now that people are starting to
00:36:25.800 realize we are going to hang together or hang separately kind of a thing so you know Mike
00:36:29.920 Rogers is not my kind of Republican right Ken Paxton's way more my kind of Republican yes Mike
00:36:34.820 has ran a way better race so i was just in michigan uh for my annual michigan football trip
00:36:40.120 and so i'm in the i'm in say it's part of the state i'm in ann arbor ann arbor mount pleasant
00:36:45.740 uh kalamazoo east lansing the big college towns that's what won him that primary that he was
00:36:50.960 supposed to win by 20 points he only won it by one over haley stevens and i expected i literally 1.00
00:36:56.200 expected to see like overweight lesbians on prayer mats and on campus you know genuflecting to mecca 1.00
00:37:02.520 Yeah, I mean, there were some Al-Sayed signs, for sure, but it wasn't the level that I expected. 1.00
00:37:08.120 I will tell you, the TV ads that I saw the weekend I was in Ann Arbor, this was just two weeks ago, they were hard.
00:37:14.200 No one in Michigan is going to not know that Al-Sayed and his family is connected to the Muslim Brotherhood, what Sharia law is.
00:37:22.080 Mike Rogers may not be our kind of Republican, but he's running our kind of messaging.
00:37:25.880 This will provide a reckoning to the people of Michigan, and I think to give Mike credit in his campaign,
00:37:32.040 I think that's what propelled some of these Democrats to say, all right.
00:37:35.780 And I think they also think that Mike has a real chance to win.
00:37:38.120 I can promise you that if Mike had no chance to win, Haley Stevens does not do that.
00:37:42.520 And because she could have done that a week ago.
00:37:44.100 She could have done that three weeks ago.
00:37:45.720 Say it's been ghosting her this entire time.
00:37:48.200 Why did she do it the final weekend?
00:37:50.140 I think because they think Mike Rogers has a real chance to win.
00:37:52.580 So when she comes out, because I think if he wins, you know, if this radical Marxist 0.94
00:37:58.520 islamist kind of movement happens and it's controlling the the senate and the house
00:38:04.400 i think that's really dangerous and it will split the party because i just don't think 0.95
00:38:09.680 i don't think they're i don't think everyone's in lockstep with that i think there's enough
00:38:15.880 democrats that are going to say no no no no no there's going to be a fight for the heart of that
00:38:20.240 party there i was just in that area again a month and a half ago for tp usa's pastor summit
00:38:25.840 and i rerouted my entire trip i was going to go speak somewhere else but given that's my former
00:38:30.640 home state and what was at stake they asked me to reconsider my schedule and i did because this
00:38:35.360 is the first time there's an organization they've ever done they've ever linked tp usa action with
00:38:40.380 tp usa faith they have charlie always wanted to keep them separate but they figured given the
00:38:44.360 moment for this was for michigan they added an extra night early and had tp usa action come in
00:38:49.280 to mobilize the pastors politically and that's the that's the night that i came in and spoke
00:38:53.880 And I'm going to tell you, I mean, you can just, you see ISIS flags in nearby Dearborn.
00:38:57.640 They just fly out in the open.
00:38:59.280 I mean, there's calls to prayer.
00:39:01.380 I mean, it's become a London-esque no-go zone is what Dearborn, Michigan is.
00:39:06.780 This should be a 20-point blowout today.
00:39:11.340 Is there a chance that this thing flies like it did where Syed was supposed to win by 20 points?
00:39:16.940 I think there is a chance.
00:39:18.260 I think, again, I think Mike's politics might be neocon adjacent.
00:39:22.800 Yes.
00:39:23.040 And you can make an argument, given the state of Michigan's recent voting history, you maybe needed a bridge Republican like him before people would come to people like us.
00:39:31.040 Yeah.
00:39:31.220 Like, I would be, if, like, if I was the nominee for U.S. Senate, Haley Stevenson and Democrats are probably not making that choice.
00:39:36.780 Right.
00:39:37.380 And so, he is providing, I guess we would call it a safe harbor for people to say, at some point, sanity has to win here.
00:39:44.500 And I, you know, we've been waiting, you know, when you do what you and I do for a living every day, you ask yourself all the time, like, what's the rubber band moment?
00:39:51.160 I mean, when does this get pushed so far that regardless of whether you like Donald Trump or not, or whatever your pet issue or cause is, you're just like, I can't do that.
00:39:59.340 I can't go that far.
00:40:00.540 And I think what would be fascinating tonight is if, say, it's 51-49 at the end of the night, Republicans in the Senate, and Michigan is the 51st state.
00:40:09.160 Because I think that would be one of the biggest storylines we've had in recent memory in a midterm election, where essentially the normie Michigan just got together and said,
00:40:20.020 No, it's too far.
00:40:20.920 We can't do that.
00:40:21.740 It's too far.
00:40:21.980 We'll figure out our disagreements and stuff later.
00:40:23.980 That would kind of be a throwback to how we used to do things in this country when you and I were kids.
00:40:27.700 Yes.
00:40:28.080 But normie America just stepped in and said, we just can't have that.
00:40:31.480 I think it's at least 50-50 that Mike Rogers is going to win.
00:40:35.600 I think it's at least 50-50.
00:40:37.820 Talk to me about Paxton.
00:40:39.400 So the thing about Paxton pouring into your early voting data, and let me just add this as a disclaimer.
00:40:44.320 I mean, Texas doesn't reveal any partisan activity in early voting.
00:40:48.400 You don't have any idea.
00:40:49.540 who these people are so everything's a model everything is all right the only assumption
00:40:54.380 we're granted is whether they voted in a primary and on which side and even that requires still a
00:40:59.260 little bit of modeling to figure the latter out the thing that has me spooked about texas is um
00:41:05.400 about one at my model showed about one out of every five early voters in texas had not voted
00:41:09.840 in the last two primaries and i and i'm gonna assume that is probably millennial and zoomer
00:41:15.440 youth who who the the reason why boomers and gen xers are freaked out by talarico they want him to
00:41:22.500 be their pelagius they want him to redefine religion and christianity and faith in america
00:41:26.440 and so they're flocking to vote for him and and that if if that assumption is correct
00:41:31.980 then that would that would increase the margin that republicans would have to win by on election
00:41:37.000 day i also think uh as great of a public servant as he has been um and and i mean if if we looked
00:41:43.180 Republican statewide public servants in the last decade, DeSantis, Paxton, Kim Reynolds. I mean,
00:41:49.320 they're going to be on everybody's top five or six or seven list. He's run an awful campaign,
00:41:53.280 frankly. Awful. I mean, you cannot come up with any affirmative message that he has offered the
00:41:57.420 people of Texas at all. Hey, you know, what was your favorite Ken Paxton speech? What was your
00:42:03.440 favorite one? I don't have one. Nobody does. Nobody has why I asked. Nobody does. And so it's
00:42:08.200 it's been very and i can't even name my favorite paxton ad and then his personal issues have made
00:42:13.800 it hard for my my my fellow evangelicals there's a lot of prominent ministers and pastors in your
00:42:19.720 state that would bring him up on stage and endorse him in every in any other cycle but because of
00:42:24.580 what's gone on in his personal life and it's still ongoing won't i have to i have to tell you i had a
00:42:28.780 i had a very prominent evangelical say to me uh recently you know uh glenn i have i've always had
00:42:34.800 this theory um you're you go left when you go dark if your personal life is just out absolutely
00:42:42.880 out of control 100 it usually you can always tell when a man is compromised in his personal
00:42:47.260 life that happens every time correct yeah and he said in my lifetime paxton's the only one that
00:42:52.780 we're more right the more broken his life yeah more broken the more he's like yep i think all
00:42:58.660 that being said james tallarico is not providing a mike rogers um safe harbor i mean he's open
00:43:05.620 about this i mean he speaks with fort tongue all this is not oppo from grainy videos these are 4k
00:43:10.880 videos we took like six months ago he is out to redefine not just what it means to be a christian
00:43:16.480 but really to redefine what it means to even be a texan i mean he's an oh yeah he represents
00:43:21.060 anathema to every custom and heritage of oil beef everything football everything so gas down the
00:43:27.900 street as i drove in this morning was 3 33 a gallon that's a dollar more than it would than 0.99
00:43:32.540 it would have been if we had not launched this stupid foreign war although let's also be honest 0.98
00:43:35.760 if one state in the union uh profits off of oil prices being too high we're living in it right 0.98
00:43:41.260 here all right the texas and texas a&m nil funds bad news for the rest of college football you're
00:43:46.200 going to get outbid for every player this off season in the transfer portal by the texas and
00:43:50.080 texas a&m nil funds because of what's happened with oil this year so if if if james tall if the
00:43:55.980 fact that gas is a dollar more a gallon makes you think i've got to go out and vote for the fork
00:44:00.100 ton demon made manifest then i i think we have to seriously reevaluate regardless of how the level
00:44:05.660 of brokenness in ken paxton's life i think i think we have to seriously reevaluate the paradigm of
00:44:10.100 what the state of texas has become that's what i think if he wins if we lose texas do we can we
00:44:18.180 win the electoral college you can't win no i mean between california new york and texas you're done
00:44:23.860 i think it's like 68 percent of the total electoral college vote right and and the thing
00:44:28.800 that's different about my home state of iowa is the the democrat there that's running for governor
00:44:33.520 rob sand has run 20 million dollars pretending to not be a democrat right tallarico is not doing
00:44:39.020 that i mean tallarico is is he's evangelizing he's proselytizing this is this is this is if
00:44:45.280 pelagius and um you know and and and a socialist had a child all right and rob bell had a kid it
00:44:52.000 would be james tallarico i mean he's openly just going to town hall saying yeah we're just going
00:44:56.300 to let everybody in the country i mean i i think at that point his ads are saying the opposite his
00:45:01.840 ads are saying i'm a border uh a tough border democrat but that would be a redefining of what
00:45:08.660 those terms mean like like you read like he redefines what christian means right yeah and
00:45:13.500 so i think if he's able to get away with that here particularly in a state that has not elected
00:45:17.960 democrats statewide since 1994 i think it is i mean my home state of iowa people like me we just
00:45:23.380 made it red in the last few years i mean tom harkin represented us in the state for 30 years
00:45:27.660 he was maybe the most liberal member of the senate not named kennedy but then for a for a
00:45:32.040 generational red state like texas to go to this kind of figure who is not a bridge candidate like
00:45:37.340 a mike rogers is from a partisan standpoint but represents a hard hard turn you have to view that
00:45:43.120 as a paradigm shift and see the state of texas differently i think all right we're more with
00:45:47.860 steve dace here in a second steve is going to be on blaze coverage i'm going to be on blaze coverage
