The Glenn Beck Program - Best of The Program ｜ Guests： Alex Marlow & Jeff Harper ｜ 6⧸9⧸21

00:00:00.000 Welcome to the podcast. We go into the lab leak theory a little bit today and more than

00:00:04.380 that, how all of this started, the idea of gain of function research, which is a big

00:00:11.160 focus right now, and who's telling the truth between Anthony Fauci and Rand Paul. What's

00:00:16.820 going on there? We get into all that today. We also go into the depths of the media and

00:00:22.140 how far it's fallen with Alex Marlowe from Breitbart. He has a new book out. We'll get

00:00:26.760 into that and the indoctrination in schools. It's a huge problem. We talk to a father who's

00:00:32.360 trying to do something about it, trying to push back, trying to fight a little bit, and

00:00:36.800 we get into that, the story about him and his family as well. Make sure, by the way, if you

00:00:42.140 missed the announcement, Jason Whitlock is coming to Blaze TV. You got to be a part of

00:00:46.860 that. BlazeTV.com slash Glenn is the place to go. You get 10 bucks off your subscription

00:00:51.600 to Blaze TV. Jason will talk, you know, he talks a lot about wokeness in sports and all

00:00:57.080 that stuff, and he's just fantastic. And, you know, talks about faith and race and politics

00:01:04.040 and everything, culture, everything. It's going to be a great show. It starts soon, so make

00:01:08.420 sure you become a subscriber. I will say, I don't think he's a big LeBron James fan.

00:01:13.000 I haven't given him a Don't Be an Idiot, Don't Be a LeBron t-shirt yet, but maybe I will. 0.78

00:01:17.080 You can get that at don'tbealebron.com. And don't forget to subscribe to this podcast 0.98

00:01:21.240 and Stew Does America, also available right here, wherever you are getting your podcasts.

00:01:26.400 Here's the show.

00:01:34.420 You're listening to The Best of the Glenn Beck Program.

00:01:41.220 Let's get right into Barack Hussein Obama. Oh my gosh,

00:01:46.980 is that racist that you would say that? No, that's his name.

00:01:52.720 We're going to talk a little bit about

00:01:54.480 what is racist

00:01:56.660 and what is not racist.

00:01:58.780 And I come to this with a new understanding.

00:02:01.720 Thank you, Jesus.

00:02:04.200 Yesterday,

00:02:05.240 Barack Obama

00:02:06.100 went on

00:02:08.340 Anderson Cooper's show, which

00:02:10.600 of course would be the place where he'd

00:02:12.700 get a lot of pushback.

00:02:14.220 Barack Obama said certain

00:02:16.620 right-wing media venues

00:02:18.620 are stoking fears and resentment

00:02:20.920 of white people.

00:02:22.900 I wonder who he might be talking about.

00:02:25.500 There are certain right-wing media

00:02:27.500 venues, for example, that

00:02:28.720 monetize and capitalize on

00:02:31.040 stoking the fear and resentment

00:02:32.860 of a white population

00:02:34.880 that is witnessing a changing America

00:02:36.980 and seeing demographic changes.

00:02:38.960 I don't really

00:02:40.960 ever think of that.

00:02:42.180 I never think about that.

00:02:43.800 I don't really

00:02:44.840 care.

00:02:45.560 What I care about

00:02:46.420 are the values

00:02:47.880 that this country had.

00:02:49.880 He said these media

00:02:50.760 venues do everything

00:02:51.700 they can to give people

00:02:52.580 a sense that their way

00:02:53.800 of life is threatened

00:02:54.720 and that people are trying

00:02:56.380 to take advantage

00:02:57.260 of them.

00:02:58.240 No.

00:02:59.640 Yes, yes, yes.

00:03:01.380 And they exploit it

00:03:02.600 for their own political gain.

00:03:04.420 Oh my gosh.

00:03:05.740 Well, Anderson Cooper and CNN 0.91

00:03:07.800 wouldn't know a darn thing 0.92

00:03:09.160 about that, would they? 0.92

00:03:11.120 He had to be shocked.

00:03:13.060 Oh my gosh.

00:03:14.140 Everybody.

00:03:15.020 CNN must have been,

00:03:16.160 what?

00:03:16.740 People would take advantage?

00:03:18.180 They would think about ratings?

00:03:19.400 They would think about money?

00:03:20.600 Oh my.

00:03:21.880 And they all rang their hands

00:03:23.820 in despair.

00:03:26.320 Here he is,

00:03:27.640 yesterday on CNN.

00:03:29.260 There are certain

00:03:30.380 right-wing media venues,

00:03:32.680 for example,

00:03:33.160 people that monetize

00:03:35.460 and capitalize

00:03:36.480 on stoking the fear

00:03:38.200 and resentment

00:03:38.920 of a white population

00:03:42.400 that is witnessing

00:03:43.440 a changing America

00:03:44.520 and seeing demographic changes

00:03:46.960 and do everything they can

00:03:50.320 to give people a sense

00:03:52.040 that their way of life

00:03:55.120 is threatened

00:03:55.580 and that people are trying

00:03:56.780 to take advantage of them.

00:03:57.880 And we're seeing it right now,

00:03:59.580 right,

00:03:59.880 where you would think,

00:04:01.760 with all the public policy debates

00:04:03.580 that are taking place

00:04:04.460 right now,

00:04:05.620 that the Republican Party

00:04:07.420 would be engaged

00:04:09.740 in a significant debate

00:04:11.540 about how are we going

00:04:12.900 to deal with the economy

00:04:13.720 and what are we going

00:04:14.460 to do about climate change

00:04:15.560 and what are we going

00:04:16.080 to do about...

00:04:17.760 Lo and behold,

00:04:19.240 the single most important issue

00:04:22.140 to them apparently right now

00:04:23.160 is critical race theory.

00:04:24.640 Who knew

00:04:25.200 that that was the threat

00:04:27.660 to our republic?

00:04:28.420 You did

00:04:30.660 because, yes sir,

00:04:31.920 you are a Marxist. 0.64

00:04:33.080 So you did know that.

00:04:34.840 That is the way of life

00:04:36.700 that is threatened.

00:04:37.640 It's not about money.

00:04:39.520 It's really not about money.

00:04:41.500 You keep focusing on money.

00:04:44.140 It's not about money.

00:04:46.640 It's about a way of life.

00:04:48.340 It's about a dream.

00:04:49.480 It's about a place

00:04:51.220 where a man can chart

00:04:52.940 his own course

00:04:53.820 and others may disagree with it,

00:04:55.760 but he can chart

00:04:56.920 his own course

00:04:57.960 without an overseer,

00:05:02.080 without a master

00:05:03.400 in Washington

00:05:04.960 telling us exactly

00:05:06.240 what to do,

00:05:07.040 when to do it,

00:05:07.600 and how to do it.

00:05:11.000 The New York Times

00:05:12.080 editorial board

00:05:13.120 has a member,

00:05:15.120 Mara Gay. 0.85

00:05:16.700 She was on yesterday

00:05:18.140 on MSNBC

00:05:19.140 and here's what she said.

00:05:21.420 We have to figure out

00:05:22.640 how to get every American 0.76

00:05:24.480 a place at the table

00:05:25.540 in this democracy,

00:05:26.940 but how to separate

00:05:28.840 American-ness, 0.76

00:05:30.800 America,

00:05:31.460 from whiteness.

00:05:32.640 Until we can confront that

00:05:34.460 and talk about that,

00:05:36.200 this is really going to continue.

00:05:37.880 I was on Long Island

00:05:38.720 this weekend

00:05:39.340 visiting a really dear friend

00:05:41.600 and I was really disturbed.

00:05:42.960 I saw dozens and dozens

00:05:45.280 of pickup trucks

00:05:46.280 with explicatives

00:05:49.360 against Joe Biden

00:05:50.620 on the back of them,

00:05:52.940 Trump flags,

00:05:54.540 and in some cases

00:05:55.540 just dozens

00:05:56.140 of American flags,

00:05:57.720 which is also

00:05:59.500 just disturbing

00:06:00.180 because essentially

00:06:00.900 the message was clear.

00:06:02.020 It was,

00:06:02.780 this is my country.

00:06:03.760 This is not your country.

00:06:05.800 I own this.

00:06:07.220 And so until we're ready

00:06:09.100 to have that conversation,

00:06:10.500 this is going to continue.

00:06:12.160 Okay, stop.

00:06:13.120 Wait a minute.

00:06:13.880 Dozens of American flags,

00:06:15.720 she saw them

00:06:16.440 and she was disturbed

00:06:17.700 that people would do that

00:06:19.320 because she associates,

00:06:21.440 and I quote,

00:06:22.600 she equates the American flag

00:06:24.380 with whiteness.

00:06:26.000 That's weird

00:06:26.880 and very disturbing

00:06:28.200 on Memorial Day weekend

00:06:30.260 to see dozens of flags.

00:06:33.800 Very disturbing.

00:06:35.840 Very disturbing.

00:06:38.480 Yeah, you see,

00:06:39.360 by the way,

00:06:40.060 do you know Mara Gay?

00:06:42.400 Because I didn't.

00:06:43.320 And until I saw the video,

00:06:44.420 I had no idea

00:06:45.040 what color she was.

00:06:46.180 Do you know

00:06:46.740 if she's white or black?

00:06:47.940 Do you know?

00:06:49.620 Yeah, most likely not.

00:06:51.160 Are you still outraged?

00:06:52.520 If it was a white person, 0.83

00:06:54.780 if it was a black person, 0.98

00:06:56.160 would you be shocked 0.99

00:06:57.040 or outraged

00:06:57.900 at what she said?

00:06:59.620 See, it's the content

00:07:00.840 of what she said.

00:07:02.780 It is the content

00:07:03.680 of a character

00:07:05.060 not the color

00:07:07.840 of their skin.

00:07:08.660 But why quote

00:07:09.860 a now racist,

00:07:11.340 a now well-known racist,

00:07:13.840 Martin Luther King?

00:07:17.120 Mr. President,

00:07:18.860 former Mr. President,

00:07:20.740 Mr. Obama,

00:07:21.940 because you're just

00:07:22.860 a regular citizen again.

00:07:25.120 So, Mr. Obama,

00:07:27.020 I have to apologize

00:07:30.020 to the American people.

00:07:34.100 We loved baseball

00:07:37.100 until CRT took it

00:07:38.980 and destroyed it.

00:07:40.500 We loved our mothers,

00:07:42.980 but they're not mothers anymore. 0.78

00:07:45.200 They're now just,

00:07:46.360 quote,

00:07:46.520 birthing people,

00:07:48.120 end quote.

00:07:49.640 We loved our cars.

00:07:51.000 We loved Chevy

00:07:51.700 until Chevy

00:07:53.500 couldn't make any more cars

00:07:54.840 until the Chinese parts 0.53

00:07:56.200 and Chinese chips arrived.

00:07:59.000 The only thing

00:07:59.840 that you have left

00:08:00.720 on the table

00:08:01.300 is the apple pie.

00:08:02.460 But because of your idea

00:08:04.340 of modern monetary theory,

00:08:06.340 what it is doing

00:08:07.120 to the U.S. dollar,

00:08:08.400 many can no longer

00:08:09.260 afford that apple pie.

00:08:10.780 So you've pretty much

00:08:11.940 destroyed

00:08:12.660 all of the things

00:08:14.040 that we've always thought

00:08:15.620 were good.

00:08:19.500 That's not race.

00:08:22.580 I think,

00:08:23.320 I believe Jackie Robinson

00:08:25.180 is one of the greatest players

00:08:26.360 ever in baseball.

00:08:27.940 So it's not a white game, 0.89

00:08:29.300 now, is it?

00:08:30.960 Mr. Obama,

00:08:31.860 you lied.

00:08:32.860 You used the IRS

00:08:34.020 to hunt down your enemies.

00:08:35.720 You spied on the media.

00:08:38.220 And your health care package,

00:08:39.580 which was supposed to save

00:08:40.500 every American $3,000 per year,

00:08:42.660 has helped some, perhaps,

00:08:44.580 while raising the cost

00:08:45.780 of everyone's health care

00:08:47.180 in double and triple digit percentages.

00:08:50.660 But the worst thing

00:08:51.940 that you did

00:08:52.780 is you planted,

00:08:55.720 you watered,

00:08:56.580 and you protected

00:08:57.640 the Marxist seeds

00:08:59.580 by crying race.

00:09:03.000 You claimed it was racist

00:09:04.560 to call someone a Marxist.

00:09:06.120 I know,

00:09:06.740 because I called you a Marxist,

00:09:09.180 and I was called a racist for it.

00:09:12.400 Wow, that's weird

00:09:13.760 that calling someone a Marxist

00:09:16.160 would be so racist

00:09:17.360 when so many now

00:09:18.820 are openly,

00:09:20.500 proudly,

00:09:21.140 calling themselves Marxist.

00:09:23.600 And you know who they are?

00:09:25.240 Your friends at BLM.

00:09:29.060 Do you disavow those Marxists

00:09:30.900 that want to destroy

00:09:31.740 the American family?

00:09:33.140 You see, again,

00:09:34.140 it's not about our money.

00:09:35.280 It's not about our economy.

00:09:36.480 It's about our way of life.

00:09:38.320 Yes,

00:09:38.780 you equate that

00:09:39.840 to jobs and businesses.

00:09:41.100 I equate that

00:09:42.640 to a family

00:09:44.120 and a government

00:09:46.080 staying out

00:09:46.920 of my family.

00:09:47.940 When there is a group

00:09:49.040 like BLM

00:09:49.800 whose stated goal

00:09:51.080 is to destroy

00:09:52.400 capitalism,

00:09:53.660 that's a problem.

00:09:55.520 When their stated goal

00:09:57.040 is to destroy

00:09:58.160 capitalism

00:09:58.900 and the nuclear family,

00:10:01.380 that's just plain out

00:10:02.480 evil.

00:10:03.380 But you know

00:10:04.000 where that comes from

00:10:05.000 because you had

00:10:06.000 Marxist friends

00:10:06.880 that you hung out with.

00:10:08.460 You know where that came from.

00:10:09.900 That came from Marxists.

00:10:12.480 That comes from

00:10:13.520 critical race theory.

00:10:17.080 You see,

00:10:17.920 Mr. President, 0.97

00:10:18.640 I was ignorant 0.96

00:10:19.860 10 or 12 years ago. 0.88

00:10:22.420 You see,

00:10:22.760 I didn't go to

00:10:23.300 any of your fancy colleges

00:10:24.500 to be carefully taught.

00:10:26.340 I was never in

00:10:27.360 with the popular

00:10:28.180 Marxist crowd.

00:10:29.640 I didn't sit

00:10:30.380 and discuss

00:10:31.020 Marxist theory.

00:10:32.160 I was out working.

00:10:33.460 That's what I was doing.

00:10:34.460 I was building something

00:10:35.440 that you had

00:10:36.000 absolutely no part of.

00:10:38.000 Yeah,

00:10:38.240 that's right.

00:10:38.820 I and millions

00:10:40.400 of others

00:10:40.940 did build this.

00:10:43.600 You were attending

00:10:44.560 Marxist meetings

00:10:45.360 and Marxist churches.

00:10:46.700 Yeah,

00:10:46.860 I didn't attend

00:10:47.680 a Marxist church

00:10:48.500 where critical race theory

00:10:49.680 and collective salvation

00:10:51.020 had replaced

00:10:52.440 the Sermon on the Mount.

00:10:54.740 And by the way,

00:10:55.320 if you now reject

00:10:56.220 Jeremiah Wright,

00:10:57.200 where do you stand

00:10:57.880 on our new senator

00:10:58.660 from Georgia?

00:10:59.540 I haven't heard you

00:11:00.280 speak out

00:11:00.760 because he doesn't

00:11:01.840 deny any of it.

00:11:02.860 critical race theory

00:11:06.820 is a Marxist theory.

00:11:09.020 There's no science

00:11:10.000 to back any of it up.

00:11:11.480 It is meant

00:11:12.440 to destroy the family,

00:11:14.320 to divide races,

00:11:16.440 and to destroy capitalism.

00:11:19.540 It teaches

00:11:20.720 our children

00:11:21.920 that whites, 0.96

00:11:23.280 and I'm quoting, 1.00

00:11:24.600 are parasites 1.00

00:11:25.600 and incurable racists 1.00

00:11:27.660 from birth.

00:11:28.740 But what's even

00:11:31.260 more insidious,

00:11:32.000 it teaches 0.99

00:11:32.380 black children,

00:11:33.280 Hispanics,

00:11:33.900 and other minorities,

00:11:35.060 you know,

00:11:35.480 except for Asians,

00:11:37.320 that they'll never

00:11:38.560 make it

00:11:39.260 because of

00:11:41.340 racism.

00:11:44.400 Systemic racism.

00:11:46.500 By the way, 0.99

00:11:47.040 Asians don't make 1.00

00:11:47.860 the Marxist cut

00:11:48.640 because they believe

00:11:49.640 in the American

00:11:50.380 work ethic.

00:11:51.100 Not the white 0.99

00:11:51.960 work ethic,

00:11:52.980 but the American

00:11:54.160 work ethic.

00:11:55.900 That we're

00:11:56.940 a meritocracy.

00:11:59.560 It's never been

00:12:00.480 the white dream.

00:12:01.800 It's always been

00:12:02.820 the American dream.

00:12:04.800 Man, I would love

00:12:05.820 to debate you someday,

00:12:06.960 sir.

00:12:07.260 Boy, I would love that.

00:12:08.700 But you can't even

00:12:09.420 say my name.

00:12:12.080 Because I can outdo you

00:12:13.420 on the sins

00:12:14.000 of this country.

00:12:15.160 And I have the proof.

00:12:16.100 I have the documents.

00:12:16.900 I have the hard facts.

00:12:17.740 Yes, I even,

00:12:18.580 I even have the chains

00:12:19.980 and whips 0.99

00:12:20.720 used in slavery.

00:12:22.240 I can outdo you

00:12:24.020 on how bad

00:12:24.860 America has been

00:12:26.020 any day of the week.

00:12:27.520 But unlike you,

00:12:29.640 I can also tell

00:12:31.260 all of the great

00:12:32.300 things about America

00:12:33.540 in detail,

00:12:34.780 not platitudes.

00:12:36.880 You see,

00:12:37.340 I still love

00:12:38.360 what the flag stands for.

00:12:39.680 I don't love the flag.

00:12:41.260 Go ahead, 0.98

00:12:41.780 burn it. 0.99

00:12:42.160 I don't care.

00:12:43.420 I love what it stands for. 1.00

00:12:45.240 I think you're an idiot 1.00

00:12:46.180 to do it. 1.00

00:12:47.480 But I'll fight

00:12:48.840 to the death

00:12:49.420 for your right

00:12:50.040 to do it.

00:12:50.540 I love and hold sacred

00:12:54.980 the meaning

00:12:56.280 behind every

00:12:57.660 U.S. soldier's death.

00:12:59.920 I hold sacred

00:13:01.380 those who died

00:13:02.520 in the Civil War

00:13:03.600 like my family

00:13:05.400 fighting for freedom

00:13:06.900 of people

00:13:07.740 of another race.

00:13:09.140 We're the only country

00:13:10.440 in the world

00:13:11.060 where white people 1.00

00:13:12.140 killed other white people 1.00

00:13:13.580 to free black people. 1.00

00:13:16.160 But you can't recognize that. 0.58

00:13:18.000 You see,

00:13:20.780 I don't see color.

00:13:22.080 And that's not racism.

00:13:23.720 That's Martin Luther King.

00:13:25.820 You know him,

00:13:26.660 the man that you had

00:13:27.620 his bust in your office

00:13:28.940 for eight years.

00:13:29.920 But now,

00:13:30.620 for some reason,

00:13:31.560 you and your minions 0.95

00:13:32.340 are telling us

00:13:33.060 through CRT

00:13:34.000 that what he believed

00:13:35.980 was wrong.

00:13:38.300 Wow.

00:13:40.680 Wow.

00:13:41.420 That's weird.

00:13:42.840 It's almost like

00:13:43.780 you didn't believe

00:13:44.400 any of this stuff.

00:13:48.000 By the way,

00:13:51.780 you,

00:13:52.340 not me,

00:13:53.060 said that at some point

00:13:54.220 you've made enough money.

00:13:56.600 I would just like

00:13:57.500 a number on that, sir.

00:13:59.120 Because I don't have

00:14:00.020 a house in the vineyard.

00:14:01.400 And yet,

00:14:01.960 you're accusing me

00:14:03.040 of being the rich fat cat.

00:14:06.660 I don't have

00:14:07.680 a vacation house

00:14:09.280 in the vineyard.

00:14:11.880 And you know

00:14:12.620 what's really crazy?

00:14:13.720 According to CRT,

00:14:16.880 you shouldn't have

00:14:17.520 been able to accomplish that.

00:14:19.100 And what an accomplishment.

00:14:20.600 I mean,

00:14:21.240 for a black man,

00:14:22.620 according to CRT. 0.97

00:14:24.360 You were in debt.

00:14:26.260 You never had anything.

00:14:27.580 You were held back

00:14:28.400 by all your student loans

00:14:29.780 where you were

00:14:30.280 overeducated in nonsense.

00:14:32.940 But by your own description, 0.92

00:14:35.220 own description,

00:14:37.200 you now,

00:14:38.140 you now are a guy

00:14:40.360 who were just

00:14:41.220 waylaid in debt

00:14:42.580 until you were elected.

00:14:45.140 And once leaving office,

00:14:46.640 just a short

00:14:47.480 five years later

00:14:49.060 after you leave,

00:14:50.320 you have enough

00:14:51.280 to buy that home

00:14:52.280 as a vacation home.

00:14:54.500 That's weird.

00:14:56.860 Do you have

00:14:57.800 enough money yet?

00:14:59.340 Should we take

00:15:00.020 the rest of it away?

00:15:01.540 And by the way,

00:15:02.480 this is also really odd.

00:15:04.820 You believe

00:15:05.480 that the coastlines,

00:15:07.180 as we now know them,

00:15:08.900 are going to be gone

00:15:10.220 by perhaps 2030?

00:15:13.500 Wow.

00:15:14.400 Doesn't that purchase

00:15:15.640 of that vacation house

00:15:18.180 on an island

00:15:19.740 put your family

00:15:21.080 in danger

00:15:21.780 in just a few short years?

00:15:23.880 Now,

00:15:24.280 I'm not going to address it

00:15:25.500 as an investment

00:15:26.360 because, boy,

00:15:27.520 that investment is gone

00:15:28.720 once those coastlines

00:15:29.760 are gone

00:15:30.180 in just nine years.

00:15:31.540 What a waste of money

00:15:32.320 that is.

00:15:33.080 But Marxists

00:15:34.220 don't really understand

00:15:35.480 investments.

00:15:36.700 And yes,

00:15:38.180 several times

00:15:39.020 I have called you

00:15:39.700 a Marxist

00:15:40.360 and it isn't racist.

00:15:41.800 It's true.

00:15:43.000 By any account

00:15:44.280 in the world

00:15:45.180 run by

00:15:46.160 normal people

00:15:49.680 that are not

00:15:50.600 Marxists, 0.84

00:15:52.300 CRT is racist.

00:15:53.840 But don't ask me

00:15:54.740 because, of course,

00:15:55.400 I was born racist 0.84

00:15:56.360 and I'm incurable. 0.95

00:15:57.620 But let's say

00:15:59.680 we ask the Chinese 0.99

00:16:00.720 over in Hong Kong

00:16:01.740 who have now

00:16:02.780 been silenced

00:16:03.660 by the Marxist

00:16:04.580 Communist Chinese government.

00:16:06.620 Perhaps

00:16:07.020 they can't be counted

00:16:08.640 on by you

00:16:09.640 because, you know,

00:16:10.920 they're Asians. 0.99

00:16:14.460 Marxism is evil 0.98

00:16:16.000 and I and others

00:16:17.460 will continue

00:16:18.000 to stand

00:16:18.700 against this evil.

00:16:20.320 And not because

00:16:21.120 it's you saying it 0.97

00:16:22.620 and you're black. 0.99

00:16:23.600 I don't care 0.99

00:16:24.200 who said it.

00:16:25.260 Marx was white.

00:16:26.400 He was Jewish. 0.55

00:16:28.700 A Jewish anti-Semite. 0.88

00:16:31.560 He's as white 0.99

00:16:32.640 as white can be. 0.55

00:16:34.960 I say it because

00:16:36.240 he was wrong.

00:16:37.780 He was evil.

00:16:39.300 We stand

00:16:40.340 against evil.

00:16:41.800 Not for the almighty

00:16:43.040 dollar

00:16:43.540 and not for our jobs

00:16:44.760 because it is right.

00:16:48.120 Sir, you do have

00:16:49.280 a problem with 0.91

00:16:49.940 white culture. 1.00

00:16:51.860 You are a racist. 1.00

00:16:53.200 And how do I know that? 1.00

00:16:55.800 Well, I didn't

00:16:56.580 understand it

00:16:57.400 back 12 years ago.

00:16:58.560 I just sensed it

00:16:59.460 from you.

00:17:00.040 But now I know it

00:17:01.060 because CRT

00:17:02.500 is racist. 0.81

00:17:05.660 Period.

00:17:08.500 Thanks for dropping

00:17:09.440 by, President Obama.

00:17:10.860 I want to talk to you

00:17:20.440 about what's going

00:17:21.160 on in our schools.

00:17:22.980 You pretty much

00:17:24.060 know it,

00:17:24.700 I believe,

00:17:25.780 with CRT.

00:17:26.960 But it's a lot

00:17:27.820 deeper than that

00:17:28.860 and most of it

00:17:30.360 most of us know

00:17:31.300 because we don't

00:17:32.540 say anything.

00:17:34.000 We don't say anything.

00:17:35.660 Our kids come home

00:17:36.540 and they tell us

00:17:37.180 and we don't say anything

00:17:38.240 because we're just

00:17:38.820 trying to keep the peace.

00:17:39.860 That has got to end.

00:17:42.760 Let me introduce you

00:17:43.460 to somebody.

00:17:43.940 His name is Jeff Harper.

00:17:44.920 He lives in Irvine,

00:17:46.080 California.

00:17:47.520 He taught

00:17:48.240 8th grade U.S.

00:17:49.100 history for 30 years.

00:17:50.420 He coaches football,

00:17:51.420 basketball,

00:17:52.060 baseball in the community.

00:17:53.300 He's a father of six.

00:17:55.720 He and his wife

00:17:56.780 have sent four kids

00:17:58.280 to Northwood High School.

00:18:00.620 But things are getting

00:18:01.800 really bad there.

00:18:02.920 And I want to read

00:18:03.940 a letter that he sent

00:18:05.160 to the principal,

00:18:06.040 but I want him

00:18:06.640 to set it up.

00:18:08.740 Welcome to the program.

00:18:09.860 Jeff.

00:18:11.180 Hey, good to be here, Glenn.

00:18:12.240 Thanks.

00:18:13.760 Thank you.

00:18:14.400 Thanks for coming on.

00:18:16.540 I have not read this story.

00:18:18.340 I've seen this story

00:18:19.140 in three places

00:18:20.320 and that's it.

00:18:22.440 And I think that's because

00:18:23.740 you've tried to be

00:18:25.140 nice about it

00:18:26.160 and nothing is happening.

00:18:28.180 So tell me,

00:18:29.140 tell me the setup

00:18:29.960 and then I want to read

00:18:30.640 pieces of your letter.

00:18:31.520 Okay, well,

00:18:34.200 you know,

00:18:34.580 like you had mentioned,

00:18:35.740 my kids have been going

00:18:36.820 to this high school

00:18:38.120 here in Irvine

00:18:38.660 for a long time

00:18:40.140 and they've come home

00:18:42.280 with, you know,

00:18:43.380 story after story.

00:18:44.900 And I did go

00:18:47.400 to the administration

00:18:48.060 one time

00:18:49.060 and it just wasn't

00:18:50.520 very effective.

00:18:51.300 I went to talk

00:18:51.800 to the vice principal

00:18:52.500 and then

00:18:53.660 I told my daughter,

00:18:56.040 hey,

00:18:56.160 I'm going to have to,

00:18:56.820 you know,

00:18:57.040 go talk to the principal

00:18:57.880 and she just begged me,

00:18:59.660 you know,

00:18:59.780 hey, Dad,

00:19:00.280 I've got to go

00:19:01.060 to these classes.

00:19:02.220 I've got to see

00:19:02.560 these teachers every day.

00:19:03.520 You don't.

00:19:04.960 And she's, you know,

00:19:05.740 fretful of retaliation.

00:19:08.600 So, unfortunately,

00:19:09.720 I haven't said something.

00:19:10.900 And then last Saturday

00:19:13.340 my wife comes

00:19:14.180 right into the room

00:19:15.180 and just said,

00:19:15.760 good grief,

00:19:16.640 can you believe

00:19:18.180 what's in the yearbook?

00:19:20.340 And, oh,

00:19:21.600 it was just crazy.

00:19:23.760 You've got,

00:19:25.460 there's two pages

00:19:26.240 laid out in the yearbook.

00:19:27.860 I counted about

00:19:29.160 24 references,

00:19:30.520 political references,

00:19:31.620 and out of those 24,

00:19:33.000 23 of them

00:19:34.420 were slanted

00:19:35.080 one way.

00:19:37.480 You had a picture

00:19:38.580 of President Trump

00:19:40.740 dark, 0.63

00:19:42.300 gloomy,

00:19:43.180 grumpy,

00:19:44.200 and then opposite

00:19:45.520 of that,

00:19:46.060 President Biden there,

00:19:47.380 just, you know,

00:19:47.860 light,

00:19:48.500 smiling,

00:19:49.340 like an angel.

00:19:50.980 And then there was like,

00:19:51.660 let me,

00:19:52.020 let me just,

00:19:53.060 let me quote

00:19:53.960 some of the points

00:19:55.180 here on that page.

00:19:56.600 Donald Trump,

00:19:57.320 using public funds

00:19:58.280 for private schools,

00:19:59.540 discredits scientists'

00:20:00.900 COVID-19 research,

00:20:02.740 promises a healthcare plan

00:20:04.200 is being created

00:20:04.900 to replace Obamacare,

00:20:06.600 wants to create a wall

00:20:07.780 to restrict immigration,

00:20:09.540 claims he's

00:20:10.340 claims he's not

00:20:11.940 a racist.

00:20:13.300 On the other side 0.91

00:20:13.900 with Joe Biden,

00:20:14.440 and there's more,

00:20:15.060 by the way,

00:20:15.740 on the other side

00:20:16.320 with Joe Biden,

00:20:17.000 increased opportunities

00:20:17.940 in education,

00:20:18.960 has a plan for addressing

00:20:20.020 COVID-19 pandemic,

00:20:21.700 believes in providing

00:20:23.040 equal and affordable

00:20:24.160 access to healthcare,

00:20:25.580 supports pathways

00:20:26.400 to citizenship,

00:20:27.740 invests in racial equity.

00:20:30.680 I mean,

00:20:31.060 it is crazy

00:20:32.780 that that's in a

00:20:34.180 textbook,

00:20:36.340 or I mean,

00:20:36.620 not a textbook,

00:20:37.080 but a yearbook. 0.80

00:20:38.120 Crazy.

00:20:40.000 Yeah, 0.53

00:20:40.540 even my Democrat

00:20:41.380 friends,

00:20:43.200 you know,

00:20:44.120 completely inappropriate

00:20:45.760 platform

00:20:46.680 and completely

00:20:47.700 inappropriate content.

00:20:48.560 The summation

00:20:49.560 was,

00:20:50.880 as Americans

00:20:51.800 processed the results,

00:20:53.480 many celebrated

00:20:54.240 the results

00:20:54.820 as a victorious

00:20:55.880 step away

00:20:56.800 from the existing

00:20:57.900 oppressive

00:20:58.720 administration.

00:20:59.960 That's the summation

00:21:00.820 of the yearbook article.

00:21:01.900 Oh, my gosh.

00:21:03.920 So, my wife and I,

00:21:04.740 what we did was,

00:21:06.200 go ahead.

00:21:06.980 We went ahead

00:21:09.780 and took a little

00:21:10.240 snapshot of it

00:21:11.140 and posted it

00:21:11.920 in a couple

00:21:12.440 community forums.

00:21:14.340 One of them

00:21:14.740 was called

00:21:15.120 Next Door,

00:21:16.300 and the reaction

00:21:17.260 was amazing

00:21:18.340 instantaneously.

00:21:20.500 And so,

00:21:20.860 what we started

00:21:21.280 to do was

00:21:22.120 to look at

00:21:22.780 the favorable

00:21:23.280 reactions

00:21:23.960 and then

00:21:24.780 private message

00:21:25.940 them

00:21:26.360 to try to,

00:21:28.020 you know,

00:21:28.180 get together

00:21:28.780 the database

00:21:30.420 of people

00:21:31.220 that are willing

00:21:31.680 to stand up

00:21:32.580 against this.

00:21:34.000 And then,

00:21:34.380 unfortunately,

00:21:35.120 Next Door

00:21:35.620 shut it down.

00:21:36.840 And that's all

00:21:37.280 we put in there

00:21:38.220 was,

00:21:38.500 hey,

00:21:38.640 here's our

00:21:39.580 yearbook page.

00:21:40.720 We think

00:21:41.280 this is inappropriate.

00:21:42.340 Does anybody

00:21:42.740 else agree with us?

00:21:44.280 That's all we put

00:21:45.020 in Next Door.

00:21:45.500 Oh, it seems reasonable.

00:21:47.460 Yeah.

00:21:47.960 And what did they say?

00:21:51.400 Next Door,

00:21:52.040 they didn't.

00:21:52.340 They just shut it down.

00:21:53.920 People were just

00:21:54.680 finally texting us

00:21:55.520 and emailing us

00:21:56.120 and saying,

00:21:56.560 hey,

00:21:56.780 your post is no longer,

00:21:58.400 it's no longer there.

00:22:00.060 So then,

00:22:01.580 then we,

00:22:02.880 it was amazing

00:22:03.380 what happened.

00:22:04.040 Then people started

00:22:04.680 to contact us

00:22:05.880 with connections

00:22:06.480 to like a local

00:22:07.320 conservative

00:22:07.900 newspaper blog,

00:22:10.120 the Epic Times,

00:22:11.900 Tucker Carlson,

00:22:13.920 even a congressman.

00:22:16.600 All sorts of stuff

00:22:17.720 just started happening

00:22:18.660 like crazy.

00:22:19.680 And my reaction was,

00:22:21.260 hey,

00:22:21.340 I want the local school

00:22:22.560 to have a chance

00:22:23.180 to respond.

00:22:24.060 respond.

00:22:25.780 But I,

00:22:26.500 I sent them

00:22:27.620 an email saying,

00:22:28.400 hey,

00:22:29.340 it's probably

00:22:29.740 to your benefit

00:22:30.420 to get out

00:22:31.640 in front of this

00:22:32.220 and just put out

00:22:33.060 an email saying,

00:22:33.740 hey,

00:22:33.920 you know,

00:22:34.260 we're sorry

00:22:34.880 that this,

00:22:35.460 this came out

00:22:36.000 in the yearbook.

00:22:36.540 It was,

00:22:36.900 you know,

00:22:37.760 biased to one side

00:22:38.580 and we'll work

00:22:38.960 real hard

00:22:39.320 to make sure

00:22:39.920 this doesn't,

00:22:40.460 doesn't happen again.

00:22:41.880 So I want to,

00:22:42.880 I want to read this

00:22:43.740 because it's,

00:22:44.360 I want to read this

00:22:45.460 to the,

00:22:45.900 to the audience

00:22:46.580 because it's one thing

00:22:47.740 to say,

00:22:48.600 and then we just responded

00:22:49.820 and we were really nice.

00:22:50.980 And it's another thing

00:22:51.940 to actually read

00:22:52.820 the evidence

00:22:53.480 of how nice you were.

00:22:54.820 This is,

00:22:55.520 this is the email

00:22:56.420 that you sent.

00:22:57.460 Thank you for all

00:22:58.260 that you do.

00:22:58.940 I know you're super busy

00:23:00.020 and probably under

00:23:00.780 a lot of stress.

00:23:01.700 I'll be straightforward

00:23:02.380 with you as possible.

00:23:04.120 Kay and I,

00:23:04.640 your wife,

00:23:05.060 are very frustrated

00:23:06.100 with how our kids

00:23:06.860 have been treated

00:23:07.360 at Northwood

00:23:08.520 in regards to politics.

00:23:10.540 We've not said

00:23:11.260 much over the years

00:23:12.140 out of respect

00:23:12.720 to our children's wishes.

00:23:14.280 The yearbook's

00:23:15.080 biased political page

00:23:16.260 was just another example

00:23:17.480 of what a conservative

00:23:18.800 faces at Northwood.

00:23:20.380 We have no problem

00:23:21.240 with kids' 0.50

00:23:22.040 First Amendment rights

00:23:22.820 to express their voice.

00:23:23.980 However,

00:23:24.740 do you really want

00:23:25.640 to do that

00:23:26.260 in a yearbook?

00:23:27.400 Wouldn't that be

00:23:27.840 better placed

00:23:28.520 in a debate forum

00:23:29.520 or a newspaper

00:23:30.720 with an op-ed opportunity?

00:23:32.560 Now that it's

00:23:33.200 in the yearbook,

00:23:34.040 what are conservative

00:23:34.720 voices supposed to do? 0.97

00:23:36.000 Wait until next year

00:23:36.840 to respond?

00:23:38.000 Those are voices

00:23:38.860 that should,

00:23:39.560 those are voices

00:23:41.540 that should have

00:23:42.620 been silenced.

00:23:44.200 We put feelers out

00:23:45.340 in the Northwood community

00:23:46.320 to see what others

00:23:47.060 thought of the yearbook

00:23:47.780 political pages.

00:23:48.680 The response

00:23:49.120 has been overwhelming.

00:23:50.160 Some said outrageous,

00:23:51.220 so wrong,

00:23:51.980 completely inappropriate.

00:23:53.440 Not surprised at all,

00:23:54.880 to name a few.

00:23:56.100 Others said

00:23:56.680 they were going

00:23:57.140 to the district,

00:23:57.780 the Board of Education,

00:23:58.780 even the local,

00:23:59.520 state,

00:23:59.760 and federal politicians.

00:24:01.200 We've been offered

00:24:01.820 to connect with

00:24:02.420 Tucker Carlson's show

00:24:03.600 on Fox News

00:24:04.420 and the Epoch Times.

00:24:05.280 I'm not including

00:24:06.800 these to threaten you

00:24:08.820 or to brag,

00:24:10.080 but to illustrate

00:24:10.680 that the situation

00:24:11.480 is rapidly getting

00:24:12.720 out of control.

00:24:13.860 Since there's nothing

00:24:14.920 we can do about bias

00:24:16.140 in the yearbook

00:24:16.840 and conservative voices

00:24:17.920 were not heard

00:24:18.740 or represented,

00:24:20.080 we can ask you

00:24:20.960 to put out school-wide emails

00:24:22.600 stating the yearbook's

00:24:23.440 political pages

00:24:24.180 were biased towards Democrats

00:24:25.520 and that the conservative voice

00:24:27.280 was not heard.

00:24:28.480 The email would not have

00:24:29.780 to take away

00:24:30.340 the yearbook's staff rights,

00:24:31.600 but to protect the rights

00:24:32.640 that were not exercised.

00:24:33.960 This would go a long way

00:24:35.420 to help concerned parents

00:24:36.480 feel that you will

00:24:37.340 protect their children.

00:24:38.980 I sincerely believe

00:24:39.980 that such an effort

00:24:40.720 on your part

00:24:41.240 would also help you

00:24:41.960 get out in front

00:24:42.680 of this ponential

00:24:43.460 PR nightmare.

00:24:45.220 We want to work together

00:24:46.620 with you for unity

00:24:47.800 in these divisive times.

00:24:49.840 Jeff and Kay Harper.

00:24:51.360 There's not a more

00:24:52.460 reasonable email than that.

00:24:53.980 What was the response?

00:24:56.460 Well, the response was

00:24:58.060 she did ask me

00:24:59.700 to meet with her,

00:25:02.200 but did not agree

00:25:05.720 to sending out the email

00:25:07.500 and did not send out

00:25:08.500 that email.

00:25:09.660 And I know that

00:25:10.540 there was multiple folks

00:25:11.560 that had asked a similar,

00:25:13.540 put in a similar request.

00:25:15.260 So we're going to actually

00:25:16.120 meet with the administration

00:25:17.600 today.

00:25:18.540 I'm going to bring

00:25:19.080 a couple of graduating seniors

00:25:21.900 so that they can speak to her

00:25:24.300 about their experience

00:25:25.260 with all of this as well.

00:25:26.440 So I know that you

00:25:29.340 turned Tucker Carlson down

00:25:31.040 and everybody else

00:25:31.840 and you're going to

00:25:32.480 meet with her today.

00:25:33.620 Why are you taking

00:25:34.500 this interview?

00:25:36.860 Well, for one thing,

00:25:38.560 one of the things

00:25:38.860 that I told her

00:25:39.440 is that there's stuff

00:25:40.840 out there right now

00:25:41.640 and there's nothing

00:25:42.080 I can do about it.

00:25:44.040 And when the article...

00:25:45.640 You didn't call us,

00:25:46.500 by the way.

00:25:46.960 We called you.

00:25:48.440 Right.

00:25:48.780 The article on the Fox News

00:25:50.860 print website,

00:25:52.420 after that,

00:25:53.020 the cat was out of the bag.

00:25:54.120 I gave them an opportunity

00:25:55.820 to put that email out

00:25:57.340 and when it didn't happen,

00:25:58.580 then somebody else went to...

00:26:00.320 Fox News got a hold

00:26:01.120 of somebody else

00:26:01.800 and they gave the information

00:26:04.760 for that article.

00:26:06.080 And the fact that

00:26:06.880 there was no response.

00:26:10.820 There was no email response.

00:26:13.020 See, if she would have given

00:26:13.760 that email response,

00:26:14.760 then we wouldn't be talking

00:26:15.600 right now.

00:26:17.200 Right.

00:26:18.600 So,

00:26:19.300 the response

00:26:23.980 that you received

00:26:24.860 from the community...

00:26:25.980 I mean,

00:26:26.220 I don't know anything

00:26:26.820 about Irvine, California.

00:26:28.280 Is it a conservative area

00:26:30.220 or not?

00:26:31.580 I mean,

00:26:32.280 for you to speak out

00:26:33.980 in California

00:26:35.280 and post these things

00:26:36.520 seems pretty frightening

00:26:38.900 in and of itself.

00:26:40.940 Were you surprised

00:26:41.720 by the response?

00:26:44.180 I was surprised.

00:26:45.940 This has been

00:26:46.380 graduation week.

00:26:47.620 We've got three kids

00:26:48.400 graduating

00:26:48.940 at three different levels.

00:26:50.120 So,

00:26:50.320 we've been to all sorts

00:26:51.040 of different parties.

00:26:52.360 A lot of team

00:26:53.080 parties as well.

00:26:55.380 And yeah,

00:26:55.880 everywhere I go,

00:26:57.540 people are coming up

00:26:58.260 to me saying,

00:26:59.280 hey,

00:26:59.460 I saw that.

00:27:01.020 I saw what happened

00:27:03.020 in the community forums

00:27:05.400 and yeah,

00:27:06.000 it's just a buzz.

00:27:07.820 And yeah,

00:27:09.540 it is amazing

00:27:10.600 to see that we hit a nerve,

00:27:12.500 incredible reaction.

00:27:13.600 and it's encouraging.

00:27:19.700 All sorts of ideas

00:27:20.980 are coming

00:27:21.460 to what we can do.

00:27:23.180 It's time to stand up.

00:27:24.640 I've heard all sorts

00:27:26.040 of reactions.

00:27:27.100 I said like from Democrats

00:27:28.100 as well

00:27:29.280 that this is inappropriate.

00:27:31.440 The graphic

00:27:32.340 in the yearbook

00:27:32.880 shows that 87%

00:27:34.400 for Biden

00:27:35.620 for the kids.

00:27:36.440 So,

00:27:36.600 it's,

00:27:37.860 I think the community

00:27:38.980 is for the most part

00:27:40.520 conservative,

00:27:41.300 but the schools

00:27:44.120 have been so successful

00:27:45.400 in indoctrinating

00:27:46.380 our kids.

00:27:47.560 That's what this

00:27:48.060 is an example of

00:27:48.900 and that's what's

00:27:49.300 so scary.

00:27:50.580 So yeah,

00:27:50.960 so the parents,

00:27:52.660 there was another one.

00:27:53.860 There was a kid

00:27:54.540 took this AP seminar

00:27:55.960 test just this week

00:27:57.360 and the question,

00:27:58.840 the writing prompt

00:27:59.500 question was

00:28:00.440 how would a community

00:28:02.580 benefit from

00:28:03.680 banning marriage?

00:28:05.380 That was the

00:28:06.300 writing prompt

00:28:07.020 question.

00:28:08.280 And so when people

00:28:08.940 are hearing these things,

00:28:10.200 when people are hearing

00:28:10.940 these things,

00:28:11.380 they're just going,

00:28:11.960 I can't believe it.

00:28:13.880 Although we should

00:28:15.120 believe it,

00:28:16.180 they can't believe it.

00:28:17.700 And so what's,

00:28:18.580 what's,

00:28:18.960 what's encouraging

00:28:19.700 is,

00:28:20.220 you know,

00:28:20.420 I've kind of

00:28:20.900 taken a back seat

00:28:22.400 for six years,

00:28:23.500 but just by doing

00:28:24.720 a simple thing

00:28:25.620 by posting this

00:28:26.580 into the community

00:28:27.400 forum,

00:28:28.320 what a big impact

00:28:29.360 that it's had.

00:28:30.000 And,

00:28:30.320 and there's a lot

00:28:31.100 of buzz

00:28:31.640 and we've got

00:28:32.980 all sorts of plans

00:28:33.980 and things going on

00:28:34.980 that are going to,

00:28:35.540 that are going to be

00:28:36.260 happening.

00:28:36.860 And we just hope,

00:28:37.900 you know,

00:28:38.060 we can benefit

00:28:38.620 from the,

00:28:39.260 from the momentum

00:28:40.060 of,

00:28:40.360 of this here locally

00:28:41.700 in our community.

00:28:43.500 Jeff,

00:28:44.140 I hope so.

00:28:46.740 Please keep us informed.

00:28:49.000 And if you need support,

00:28:50.640 we're here to support you

00:28:52.600 and to get the message out.

00:28:54.420 You haven't even touched

00:28:55.720 on CRT yet,

00:28:56.940 which I'm sure

00:28:57.880 is in your school.

00:28:59.460 But that is,

00:29:00.800 there are groups

00:29:01.940 and people all over

00:29:02.880 the country

00:29:03.300 that are now

00:29:04.100 banning together.

00:29:04.900 And I mean,

00:29:05.520 Republicans and Democrats

00:29:06.500 saying enough is enough.

00:29:07.500 So congratulations,

00:29:09.120 Jeff.

00:29:09.340 And please let us know

00:29:10.220 what happens today

00:29:11.080 at your meeting.

00:29:12.980 Will do.

00:29:13.580 Just grateful to have

00:29:14.280 the chance to show,

00:29:15.440 you know,

00:29:15.740 to show what's going on

00:29:16.760 to our children

00:29:17.200 in the schools

00:29:17.820 and on our dime.

00:29:19.660 Thank you very much,

00:29:21.900 Jeff Harper.

00:29:26.900 This is the best

00:29:28.360 of the Glenn Beck Program.

00:29:29.360 This is the Glenn Beck Program.

00:29:41.520 There is a really important book

00:29:43.360 that is out now.

00:29:44.160 It's called Breaking the News.

00:29:46.940 And it is about fake news.

00:29:50.660 And I know when Donald Trump

00:29:52.420 first started talking

00:29:53.400 about fake news,

00:29:55.220 it was kind of funny,

00:29:57.620 maybe in some ways.

00:29:58.420 I mean,

00:29:58.680 we all knew

00:29:59.360 that it was true.

00:30:01.520 But I don't think,

00:30:02.840 I'm not sure

00:30:03.620 he even knew

00:30:04.760 how in the bag

00:30:07.760 they were

00:30:08.860 when he first

00:30:10.720 started saying that.

00:30:12.420 Alex Marlowe

00:30:13.020 is the editor-in-chief

00:30:14.260 of Breitbart News

00:30:15.220 and the author

00:30:16.240 of Breaking the News.

00:30:17.480 Welcome to the program,

00:30:18.300 Alex.

00:30:18.500 How are you?

00:30:19.780 Glenn,

00:30:20.100 it's great to speak with you.

00:30:21.020 Thanks for the terrific introduction.

00:30:22.240 You really nailed it.

00:30:24.340 Yeah.

00:30:24.680 Did he know?

00:30:26.000 Do you think he knew

00:30:27.120 how deep that went

00:30:28.900 when he first started saying it?

00:30:31.940 I think he knew subconsciously.

00:30:34.040 And I think that's what appealed,

00:30:35.740 why he appealed to so many of us

00:30:37.980 who were in the anti-establishment media.

00:30:40.880 And I think you understand this instinctually.

00:30:42.820 You moved away from corporate media

00:30:44.760 into your own thing.

00:30:45.820 We've done that at Breitbart.

00:30:47.120 And I think that so much

00:30:48.500 of the conservative base

00:30:49.600 has really loved that,

00:30:51.300 that he really did seem to,

00:30:53.260 at his core,

00:30:54.360 want to reject the establishment media.

00:30:56.320 I think in a lot of cases

00:30:57.360 he ended up trying to win them over,

00:30:59.060 probably more than I would have liked.

00:31:00.780 But I do think in his heart,

00:31:02.340 he understood these people

00:31:03.580 were working against him.

00:31:06.140 I will tell you,

00:31:07.980 I think that

00:31:09.060 if you really look at Donald Trump,

00:31:13.400 I think he shoots from the hip

00:31:15.220 all the time.

00:31:15.820 I think he just uses his gut.

00:31:17.520 But he has one of the best guts

00:31:19.760 on him,

00:31:21.400 I think.

00:31:21.900 I think the things that he says

00:31:24.600 that you're like,

00:31:25.120 oh, that's crazy.

00:31:26.820 Give it six months.

00:31:28.420 You know,

00:31:28.740 the difference between

00:31:29.840 Donald Trump's conspiracy theories

00:31:31.400 and crazy

00:31:32.060 versus true,

00:31:35.440 wow,

00:31:36.400 is about six months.

00:31:37.840 Really?

00:31:40.060 It's an amazing thing.

00:31:41.340 And I looked at this

00:31:42.220 as a perfect example

00:31:43.180 to illustrate your point,

00:31:44.180 which is the Charlottesville hoax,

00:31:45.720 where we were told

00:31:47.000 that he had called

00:31:48.260 a Nazi's fine people, 0.97

00:31:51.180 saying Nazis are very fine people. 0.95

00:31:53.580 He didn't say that.

00:31:55.020 He specifically said

00:31:56.260 not the Nazis,

00:31:57.400 they're not fine people.

00:31:58.680 But what's amazing

00:31:59.500 is that a minute after

00:32:00.640 his famous fine people quote,

00:32:02.600 he said,

00:32:03.040 if we start going down this road,

00:32:04.760 soon you're going to see

00:32:05.540 the cancellation

00:32:06.200 of Washington and Jefferson.

00:32:09.020 And a lot of people 0.54

00:32:09.800 thought that was ridiculous 0.82

00:32:10.800 at the time.

00:32:12.260 Nine months later,

00:32:13.360 a year later,

00:32:14.040 we're literally canceling

00:32:15.260 Washington and Jefferson.

00:32:16.360 And so he called that one.

00:32:17.920 He was the first one

00:32:18.660 that I know of

00:32:19.220 that pointed that out

00:32:20.140 and he was right on the money.

00:32:22.960 So Alex,

00:32:24.040 give me the motivations.

00:32:26.580 I mean,

00:32:26.840 when I was young and naive

00:32:28.980 and I first started working

00:32:31.900 at CNN,

00:32:33.440 I knew that they had

00:32:35.020 a political bend

00:32:37.000 and I was shocked

00:32:37.840 that CNN would allow me

00:32:39.180 into the building.

00:32:40.140 But I think there was

00:32:41.440 still some effort

00:32:43.720 to give some,

00:32:45.320 a little bit,

00:32:46.460 even if it's in a mocking way,

00:32:48.000 a little bit of credence

00:32:49.320 to half the country.

00:32:51.560 And I found them to be,

00:32:53.300 at that time,

00:32:54.820 incredibly

00:32:56.300 uncurious

00:32:59.240 kind of people.

00:33:00.420 They were not curious

00:33:01.740 about anything.

00:33:02.460 They didn't follow anything

00:33:03.660 except the crowd.

00:33:05.940 But now,

00:33:07.480 it's beyond

00:33:08.980 just not curious.

00:33:10.100 they must know

00:33:12.900 what they're doing

00:33:14.560 at this point.

00:33:15.520 And they are

00:33:16.620 an enemy

00:33:17.300 of the Constitution.

00:33:19.180 They're an enemy

00:33:19.860 of the public,

00:33:21.480 I think,

00:33:22.000 as Donald Trump said

00:33:23.080 long ago.

00:33:25.280 You're correct

00:33:26.080 on all points.

00:33:27.000 And unfortunately,

00:33:28.380 my conclusion

00:33:29.100 in this book

00:33:30.820 is that

00:33:31.880 it is mostly

00:33:32.780 the corporate profit model.

00:33:34.540 And I wish

00:33:34.980 it was much more

00:33:35.820 of a barn burner

00:33:38.480 than that.

00:33:39.480 But the business model

00:33:40.540 moved away from

00:33:41.960 you could be

00:33:43.540 a little liberal,

00:33:44.300 maybe you can have

00:33:45.060 a Glenn Beck

00:33:45.540 on your show,

00:33:46.120 maybe you have

00:33:46.500 a little debate

00:33:47.060 with a conservative,

00:33:48.380 and then you can get

00:33:49.480 a huge audience.

00:33:50.460 That's no longer

00:33:51.120 the goal.

00:33:51.940 The goal is to protect

00:33:53.380 corporate interests.

00:33:54.280 The goal is to protect

00:33:55.360 your ability

00:33:56.100 to do business

00:33:57.100 in communist China.

00:33:58.100 The goal is to protect

00:34:00.040 your brand

00:34:01.080 so that millennials,

00:34:02.760 as they grow up

00:34:03.760 and go into the workforce

00:34:04.720 and go into middle management,

00:34:06.540 that they have a company

00:34:07.840 that they believe in politically,

00:34:09.720 which is becoming

00:34:10.400 more of a big trend.

00:34:12.000 And unfortunately,

00:34:12.960 it's the corporate woke-ism

00:34:14.340 run amok

00:34:14.980 that they think

00:34:15.800 protecting

00:34:16.420 their international

00:34:17.760 business interests.

00:34:18.680 Take NBC,

00:34:19.540 which is part of NBC,

00:34:20.440 Comcast,

00:34:20.960 Universal,

00:34:21.760 does major business

00:34:22.620 in China,

00:34:23.160 does major business

00:34:23.780 around the world.

00:34:24.640 ABC News,

00:34:25.720 ABC Disney,

00:34:26.860 huge interests

00:34:27.980 around the world.

00:34:28.840 The business model

00:34:29.860 is so that the news divisions

00:34:31.240 are supposed to protect

00:34:32.240 the corporate interests.

00:34:33.360 They're not there

00:34:34.200 to inform the public

00:34:35.280 or even be fair

00:34:36.780 to half the country.

00:34:38.780 So when ABC hired me

00:34:40.920 for about 12 minutes,

00:34:42.660 Diane Sawyer and I

00:34:43.980 were becoming fast friends

00:34:45.620 and they hired me

00:34:46.980 and Diane had been telling me

00:34:49.160 we're going to change

00:34:50.060 television together,

00:34:51.000 blah, blah, blah.

00:34:53.100 After that first day,

00:34:55.540 CARE went down

00:34:56.840 and called Disney

00:34:58.060 and said,

00:34:59.100 we will boycott your park

00:35:00.640 if you don't end this.

00:35:02.780 And they ended it immediately.

00:35:04.300 Diane Sawyer never,

00:35:05.460 you know,

00:35:05.820 never talked to me again.

00:35:07.120 Never could get her

00:35:07.880 on the phone.

00:35:08.460 She never called me again.

00:35:09.440 She was honestly,

00:35:10.420 my wife at one point

00:35:11.320 thought we were having

00:35:11.940 an affair.

00:35:12.380 She's like,

00:35:12.840 why is she calling you

00:35:13.820 all the time?

00:35:14.340 I'm like,

00:35:14.600 honey,

00:35:14.780 I don't know.

00:35:16.380 But anyway,

00:35:17.680 and I thought that was

00:35:19.240 just to protect the mouse,

00:35:20.800 but it is,

00:35:22.160 it's much bigger than that.

00:35:24.140 And,

00:35:24.580 you know,

00:35:24.800 Barack Obama said

00:35:25.960 yesterday that it's

00:35:28.120 the right wing media

00:35:28.960 just doing it for ratings

00:35:30.020 and money.

00:35:30.720 It's much more insidious

00:35:32.800 than that when it comes

00:35:34.600 to the left

00:35:35.720 and these,

00:35:36.860 and these giant corporations.

00:35:38.360 They're selling

00:35:39.440 their country out

00:35:40.600 to be able to

00:35:42.300 have China.

00:35:45.300 You're exactly correct

00:35:46.720 on this.

00:35:47.180 And if you look at it,

00:35:48.500 it's throughout

00:35:49.380 the establishment press,

00:35:50.660 the ABC and NBC

00:35:51.480 examples are the clearest

00:35:52.620 because they've got

00:35:54.000 such big entertainment

00:35:54.960 interest in China.

00:35:56.160 And let's say

00:35:57.180 they did do a deep dive

00:35:58.440 on the origins

00:35:59.360 of the coronavirus

00:36:00.120 and they turned out

00:36:01.520 that maybe China

00:36:02.560 was the bad guy

00:36:03.520 after all.

00:36:04.140 It wasn't Donald Trump

00:36:05.060 who was the bad guy.

00:36:06.100 Well,

00:36:06.260 then maybe the country

00:36:07.200 will put pressure

00:36:07.800 on China

00:36:08.340 and maybe the corporations

00:36:09.680 won't be able

00:36:10.640 to pad their bottom line

00:36:11.960 with all that sweet,

00:36:13.160 sweet commie cash. 0.94

00:36:14.840 But even outlets

00:36:15.900 that don't have huge interest

00:36:17.200 in China, Glenn,

00:36:18.480 the Atlantic magazine,

00:36:19.900 for example,

00:36:20.680 is owned by a lady

00:36:21.640 named Lorene Powell Jobs,

00:36:23.380 Steve Jobs' widow.

00:36:24.600 She makes all of her money 1.00

00:36:25.620 from Apple and Disney.

00:36:27.880 So even,

00:36:28.540 so she's bankrolling it 0.97

00:36:29.760 with money from China.

00:36:31.480 That's where Apple

00:36:32.140 does so much

00:36:32.860 of their business.

00:36:33.360 That's where Disney

00:36:33.820 does so much

00:36:34.700 of its business.

00:36:35.880 It's so stunning,

00:36:37.140 China's tentacles 0.98

00:36:37.960 and how much they're in

00:36:39.200 virtually every corner

00:36:40.400 of the American media.

00:36:42.560 So let me ask you this.

00:36:44.040 is it possible

00:36:45.960 that Fauci

00:36:47.200 is the scapegoat?

00:36:49.080 Because they're all

00:36:49.700 suddenly very interested

00:36:51.420 in the Wuhan lab,

00:36:53.680 but Fauci really

00:36:55.140 is the guy

00:36:55.800 who funded that.

00:36:57.060 So it's not blaming China,

00:36:59.720 it's blaming the U.S.

00:37:01.300 and Fauci

00:37:02.180 for that coronavirus.

00:37:05.420 You know,

00:37:05.640 it's amazing.

00:37:06.260 I was thinking about

00:37:07.200 how,

00:37:08.000 instead of just trying

00:37:09.020 to ask questions

00:37:09.740 about the science,

00:37:10.500 like,

00:37:11.020 where did this come from?

00:37:13.040 Was it the lab?

00:37:14.240 Did it go from

00:37:14.920 the wet market

00:37:15.740 into the lab?

00:37:16.580 Everyone is sort of

00:37:17.320 picking sides now,

00:37:18.460 and I refer to it

00:37:19.280 as Team Pangolin

00:37:20.260 versus Team Lab,

00:37:21.800 meaning that they're

00:37:22.960 rooting it for being

00:37:23.480 the Pangolin.

00:37:24.420 Joe Biden,

00:37:25.120 of course,

00:37:25.420 is on Team Pangolin

00:37:26.200 because he doesn't want

00:37:27.020 Trump to be right 0.96

00:37:27.640 about the lab.

00:37:28.680 Fauci's on Team Pangolin

00:37:29.780 because he funded the lab.

00:37:31.580 The corporations

00:37:32.260 are on Team Pangolin

00:37:33.160 because they don't want

00:37:34.060 it to be the lab

00:37:34.660 because that could hurt

00:37:35.320 their corporate bottom lines.

00:37:37.280 And so now it's hard

00:37:38.400 to know what the truth is

00:37:39.740 because everyone

00:37:40.720 is giving you information

00:37:41.680 is a vested interest.

00:37:42.840 Every time you're

00:37:43.580 hearing Fauci,

00:37:44.320 you're hearing a guy

00:37:45.120 who is praying

00:37:46.060 it is not the lab

00:37:47.060 that he funded.

00:37:48.100 And yet they won't fire him.

00:37:49.220 They're still putting him

00:37:50.060 out there to give us information.

00:37:54.360 So, Alex,

00:37:55.120 what is the cure to this?

00:37:57.640 I mean, you know,

00:37:58.840 I know you know

00:37:59.780 about the Great Reset.

00:38:01.420 The corporations

00:38:02.160 are already circling

00:38:03.440 the wagons,

00:38:04.300 and, you know,

00:38:05.940 already in the infrastructure bill,

00:38:08.460 billions are going

00:38:10.680 to be handed out

00:38:11.440 to the media

00:38:12.540 because that's

00:38:14.140 important infrastructure.

00:38:16.460 How is this going

00:38:17.300 to work out here

00:38:18.280 in this transition?

00:38:19.300 Because it's about

00:38:20.100 the people

00:38:20.880 who they would say

00:38:22.300 have no power,

00:38:24.240 voices like ours

00:38:25.360 who have no power,

00:38:27.460 they say,

00:38:28.520 yet they're trying

00:38:29.440 to desperately

00:38:30.320 shut us all down.

00:38:31.360 and these giant corporations

00:38:33.840 and global state players.

00:38:36.480 How does this change

00:38:37.480 and how does it end?

00:38:39.740 So there's a happy part

00:38:41.620 of this answer

00:38:42.160 and then there's a tough part.

00:38:43.160 The happy part is

00:38:44.520 people who are doing

00:38:46.180 what you're doing

00:38:46.900 with an independent outlet,

00:38:48.500 people who are doing

00:38:48.940 what we're doing

00:38:49.360 at BrightBart,

00:38:50.060 that's the beginning of it.

00:38:51.400 People who are funding

00:38:52.420 these things,

00:38:53.160 voting with your dollars,

00:38:54.700 donating or buying products

00:38:56.320 or buying advertising

00:38:57.420 or investing

00:38:58.120 in those types of businesses,

00:38:59.740 that's a number one.

00:39:00.740 But the harder fight

00:39:02.100 is going to be

00:39:02.620 to preserve

00:39:03.140 the First Amendment

00:39:04.020 because the spirit

00:39:04.920 of the First Amendment

00:39:05.780 is being decimated right now.

00:39:07.600 It's being controlled

00:39:08.400 by our corporations,

00:39:09.740 particularly those

00:39:10.580 in Silicon Valley.

00:39:11.900 And until there are

00:39:12.760 enough elected people

00:39:13.760 who understand

00:39:14.620 that these corporate interests,

00:39:16.900 we've outsourced

00:39:17.560 our First Amendment to them

00:39:18.680 and they will censor

00:39:20.240 true statements

00:39:21.120 that go against

00:39:22.100 their business interests

00:39:22.980 and they will censor

00:39:24.380 on behalf of their

00:39:25.180 political allies.

00:39:26.360 So long as we allow

00:39:27.540 for that to happen

00:39:28.320 and we don't use

00:39:29.120 whatever legal means

00:39:30.100 necessary to put pressure.

00:39:32.400 And by the way,

00:39:33.220 we should build

00:39:33.620 our own stuff too.

00:39:34.380 We should build

00:39:34.700 our own platforms.

00:39:35.740 But if we let

00:39:36.620 the First Amendment,

00:39:37.480 the spirit of it,

00:39:38.200 not the letter of it,

00:39:38.860 the spirit of it

00:39:39.720 slip away,

00:39:40.500 then we're in big,

00:39:41.360 big trouble.

00:39:41.900 So that's where

00:39:42.440 our fight has to be

00:39:43.320 ideologically.

00:39:46.640 Alex, great to talk to you.

00:39:48.980 Love to have you in

00:39:50.180 for a podcast

00:39:51.480 to go more in depth

00:39:52.920 on this.

00:39:53.600 I appreciate it.

00:39:54.360 Thank you for all

00:39:54.900 your hard work

00:39:55.600 and congratulations

00:39:56.340 on all the success

00:39:57.380 at Breitbart.

00:39:58.220 The same to you, Glenn.

00:40:00.060 I really appreciate it.

00:40:00.940 I'd love to do the podcast

00:40:01.720 whenever you'd like.

00:40:03.760 Thank you.

00:40:07.380 and the name of the book

00:40:08.820 is Breaking the News,

00:40:10.680 an important book to read.
