00:00:00.000 sarah i don't buy that i mean i just sarah always see every thursday she tells me how good looking

00:00:05.760 i am because i have to do work right after the show you have to record stuff after the show so

00:00:10.380 she and she's been doing this for years and today you said for the first time i i don't believe you

00:00:15.940 which was interesting i kind of thought you didn't believe her the whole time no i mean i chose to

00:00:20.800 believe her you know i knew she was lying to me she was just trying to make it easy that i have

00:00:25.080 to do a bunch of work that i don't want to do on thursdays right um but uh today i just saw through

00:00:30.500 the mask entirely and i don't believe you so there you go uh but you were looking what did she say

00:00:39.060 sporty she said dashing dashing yeah which i i think is very because i have to do now work that i don't

00:00:43.820 want to do yeah as well and now she's starting to compliment me which i but i believe her still

00:00:47.920 but you're you you you now don't believe her i believe i am dashing right well in the 1920s sort

00:00:54.460 of horribly disfigured sort of way yeah that's what i was thinking yeah okay today's podcast a lot

00:01:01.180 of information we talked about the president's speech last night and why it is so important

00:01:05.940 we talk about the doj and this um executive order that still even though 50 congressmen and senators have

00:01:15.020 asked for this executive order to be released we still don't know what the plan is for election day

00:01:22.740 uh something the doj says that they're going to start implementing next week and they're going to

00:01:27.580 be there they're going to watch i have no idea what it means but we'll get you a little closer

00:01:32.740 to the truth with uh one of our guests we also have an amazing republican hispanic republican woman uh woman 1.00

00:01:40.960 it's cassie garcia and uh she she talks about her opponent who's taking a little money from 0.76

00:01:48.840 the drug cartel but it's only the most dangerous drug cartel out there oh good yeah so we got that

00:01:56.460 and the latest in the poll numbers so stand by it's a great podcast we should also mention blaze tv

00:03:09.780 life i got my life back because my wife said try it just try it i'm like it's not gonna work it's

00:03:16.080 like ibuprofen accepted as four different ingredients that are gonna attack inflammation

00:03:21.800 i never thought inflammation would be something that you know a capsule would be able to help me with

00:03:29.040 it does i got my life back get your life back the life you love with a drug-free and natural way

00:03:37.040 it's relieffactor.com get the three-week quick start relieffactor.com here's the podcast

00:03:43.540 you're listening to the best of the glenn beck program

00:03:55.420 so joe biden spoke last night and his doj is considering laws that would put people in prison

00:04:09.240 for misinformation but i don't think they understand what misinformation is quite honestly

00:04:15.680 they're now saying that this is from the washington post that releasing the video

00:04:21.060 on paul pelosi is just a way to extend the conspiracy theory now i don't think anything 0.80

00:04:28.620 happened there except this a crazy hippie went down a rabbit hole went even more crazy 0.88

00:04:38.380 and tried to kill or hobble nancy pelosi that's what happened that's what happened except the washington 0.71

00:04:48.820 post talks about how um the conspiracy theories are spread the same reason that q anon itself did

00:04:57.180 that there are reward mechanisms for sowing doubt that don't exist for sharing the less exciting truth

00:05:03.720 there are political rewards certainly various political actors got new surges in attention by

00:05:08.820 spreading false claims about the attack it is the same as suggesting that authorities have been lying

00:05:15.700 about an audience builder since the days of ufo chatter on am radio you mean the ones that now the

00:05:22.800 pentagon is verifying there's one throw that out there so they go in to say that look the conspiracies

00:05:30.400 don't happen because you don't have the information conspiracies happen because you do give them the

00:05:37.840 information and you give these people release the video release the video what are you hiding

00:05:44.220 if information is suppressed it reinforces the conspiracy theory if it's released it becomes evidence

00:05:50.700 that contributes to the conspiracy theory colored yarn is pinned to it and pinned to another 0.78

00:05:57.800 another uh cork board um okay so great yeah that's the way people are but that's not a reason for not

00:06:08.600 releasing information they he quotes the lawrence lessig's uh 2009 essay against transparency in which he warned

00:06:19.480 publishing information in the interest of governmental transparency would simply give people scads of

00:06:25.320 material to generate their own narratives so they're arguing now that the government should not release

00:06:31.800 information in what world does that make sense i will explain in the world of the washington post

00:06:43.380 megan mcgardle of the washington post has just written a story where she believes that the media

00:06:49.300 was mistaken to report on the public comments and expressions of a prominent figure who was running

00:06:56.760 for president who was hosting campaign rallies attended by thousands she said we were responsible for trump 0.96

00:07:05.640 wow and she said we covered him but we didn't get the effect we were hoping for what effect were you

00:07:16.080 hoping for let me ask you as a journalist you are to journal the news you're supposed to tell people

00:07:24.720 what happened today you're not supposed to steer us like sheep miccardo believes she and her peers

00:07:33.260 failed the public but she believes the voters failed even more they're supposed to look at what the media is

00:07:40.300 saying and come to the same conclusion there's a great article on this in in the federalist

00:07:46.200 so she says that rather than leaping to condemn his every pronouncement we should just treat trump's

00:07:55.940 twitter account the way we would treat some random account with five followers we just ignore them

00:08:02.620 they're beneath our notice that's called a blackout

00:08:06.680 mcgardle's former post colleague the federalist points out margaret sullivan also said last month the

00:08:14.760 old-style journalism will no longer suffice in political coverage instead she said all her little 0.87

00:08:21.680 friends should be thinking about what coverage serves the public best in other words what serves her 1.00

00:08:28.480 interest or the media's interest or her collection of friends interest they don't know everyone in the

00:08:37.100 country yet they are steering everyone into the country on their belief because they are convinced

00:08:45.120 that they're right this is extraordinarily dangerous by the way the fbi official that was one of the head

00:08:53.600 guys that suppressed the hunter biden laptop story is still involved in the government's disinformation

00:09:00.140 role this is one of the guys making the decisions now another question this one comes from reason

00:09:07.960 have you seen what they're charging pelosi's attacker with and and i have to tell you he should go to prison

00:09:15.500 or a mental institution like john hinckley did okay we're letting john hinckley out now i don't think we

00:09:22.860 should do that you you attack somebody like that you go to jail forever however this man should be put away

00:09:30.780 and i want that to be very very clear what he did was very wrong we have no place in our society for it

00:09:37.160 but they uh they are charging him and really double charging him everywhere everywhere um

00:09:49.600 he according to the justice department they're prosecuting him for violating you know some statute

00:09:56.440 which applies to someone who assaults a member of u.s officials immediate family with intent to retaliate

00:10:01.480 against that official on account of the performance of the official duties when the assault results in bodily

00:10:06.200 injury it's punishable up to 30 years they're also violated saying he violated uh 18 usc 1201

00:10:13.960 which applies to someone who attempts to kidnap a federal official on account of performance of official

00:10:18.980 duties he also faces six state charges some of them overlap with the federal charges the state

00:10:25.900 charges include first degree residential burglary assault with a deadly deadly weapon elderly abuse

00:10:31.580 false imprisonment and threatening a member of an elected official's immediate family he is also

00:10:36.560 charged with attempted first degree murder okay i i i have to tell you

00:10:44.320 i'm sure i'm sure many of these things are accurate okay i'm not an attorney here's what i'm concerned of

00:10:55.360 is paul pelosi's life more important than anyone else is paul pelosi's uh i mean is uh

00:11:06.920 nancy pelosi's husband more important than the mom in buffalo i don't know if you've been following this

00:11:16.860 kathy hochel says the system absolutely failed

00:11:21.300 there was a guy who was arrested 45 years old adam benningfield

00:11:39.240 he was arrested because of the savage beating of his estranged wife

00:11:47.080 but because of the changes the democrats have made in cash free bail

00:11:53.880 he couldn't be held

00:11:57.180 and so he leaves

00:12:00.380 and this mother of three is executed by this guy

00:12:05.460 now the mother of the former wife

00:12:10.560 is holding hochel and saying what are you doing of course we care about crime

00:12:16.760 he was in jail

00:12:20.760 and there was no bail for a domestic violence incident

00:12:25.960 so he left

00:12:30.940 hochel has said yes the laws could use some tweaking

00:12:35.800 tweaking

00:12:37.020 you are throwing the book

00:12:40.260 at this guy who deserves the book

00:12:42.960 to be thrown at him

00:12:44.480 in san francisco

00:12:46.080 but how many other people in san francisco

00:12:49.260 have been raped or murdered

00:12:51.060 and nobody paid attention to it

00:12:53.480 do you see what's happening

00:12:58.060 you don't matter

00:13:00.140 you don't matter to the press

00:13:02.060 you don't matter to the elites

00:13:04.460 by the way

00:13:06.340 what happened to uh

00:13:07.960 what happened to katie hobbs

00:13:09.840 is katie hobbs

00:13:11.680 going to be uh held for misinformation

00:13:14.820 because she came out and blamed carrie lake 0.96

00:13:18.920 for someone breaking into her office

00:13:21.240 and carrie lake said 0.74

00:13:22.240 this is ridiculous 0.98

00:13:23.340 this is ridiculous 0.93

00:13:25.620 i had nothing to do with it

00:13:27.180 nobody i know would have anything to do with it

00:13:29.840 we're winning in the first place

00:13:32.420 but that didn't stop katie hobbs 1.00

00:13:36.020 even after they caught the guy

00:13:38.940 still

00:13:39.720 might have been influenced

00:13:42.000 might have been influenced by carrie lake

00:13:44.560 no

00:13:45.780 no

00:13:46.260 actually the guy that they arrested

00:13:48.360 was an illegal alien

00:13:51.140 he had been arrested earlier in the day

00:13:55.660 and then released

00:13:57.360 do you see a pattern here

00:14:01.400 yeah but we're talking about violence

00:14:05.120 against really

00:14:06.060 how about the shooting

00:14:07.340 that the media barely covered

00:14:09.680 when the guy who had worked

00:14:11.860 for the bernie sanders campaign

00:14:14.440 and i don't blame bernie sanders for this

00:14:17.280 but they don't give me that

00:14:20.200 no no

00:14:21.560 no

00:14:22.340 i've got to blame every republican

00:14:24.700 uh really

00:14:28.380 how about the guy who went to the ball game

00:14:30.640 does anyone even remember this in the press

00:14:32.880 that tried to kill

00:14:34.760 the republicans on the field 1.00

00:14:37.360 they would have wiped out

00:14:38.320 almost all of the republicans 0.92

00:14:40.160 in one day

00:14:41.820 is that a threat to democracy

00:14:44.780 they barely mentioned it

00:14:50.340 look

00:14:54.120 we don't have a democracy

00:14:58.360 we have a republic

00:15:00.160 and there's an important difference

00:15:02.460 and if you don't know the difference

00:15:03.600 just look it up

00:15:04.980 it's important

00:15:06.940 the founders knew

00:15:08.780 democracy

00:15:09.480 always

00:15:10.840 fails

00:15:11.700 quickly

00:15:12.380 and rolls into a totalitarian state

00:15:15.720 that's why we have

00:15:18.080 all of the safeguards

00:15:19.300 that we are now

00:15:20.420 getting rid of

00:15:21.520 but our republic

00:15:26.520 truly is

00:15:27.640 at stake

00:15:28.540 and tuesday

00:15:30.620 am i the only one

00:15:31.700 that got up this morning

00:15:32.620 and started reading polls

00:15:34.620 which by the way

00:15:35.420 stew is going to go into

00:15:36.540 don't listen to these polls

00:15:38.220 don't listen

00:15:39.740 they're registered voter polls

00:15:41.740 they are trying

00:15:43.500 to make you feel 1.00

00:15:44.740 like oh crap 0.99

00:15:45.840 we're going to lose 0.99

00:15:46.560 but i have to tell you

00:15:47.560 i got up this morning

00:15:49.160 and i thought

00:15:49.840 geez

00:15:50.240 you know we've been

00:15:50.940 very optimistic lately

00:15:52.200 but

00:15:53.440 by wednesday

00:15:55.180 a week from yesterday

00:15:57.680 we could be looking

00:15:59.540 at each other going

00:16:00.340 dear god

00:16:01.260 what is going to come now

00:16:02.660 it has to stop

00:16:06.140 the madness

00:16:07.000 has to have

00:16:08.580 a speed bump

00:16:09.620 at least

00:16:10.260 or a roadblock

00:16:11.660 and i just read

00:16:14.200 that there is like

00:16:15.020 10 percent of

00:16:16.120 17 percent of republicans

00:16:18.460 in georgia

00:16:19.520 they're not sure

00:16:20.160 they're going to vote

00:16:21.020 because they're not sure

00:16:22.660 you're not sure

00:16:24.460 be sure of this

00:16:28.280 if you don't put up

00:16:30.700 a roadblock

00:16:31.720 we will not have

00:16:34.980 a democracy

00:16:36.200 and a republic

00:16:38.100 we will not be following

00:16:40.700 the constitution

00:16:41.700 at all

00:16:42.960 please

00:16:45.660 please

00:16:46.900 don't risk that

00:16:48.640 this is the best

00:16:54.440 of the glenbeck program

00:16:55.660 cassie for congress

00:17:03.360 dot com

00:17:04.220 is

00:17:05.140 the home

00:17:06.120 where you can find out

00:17:07.000 how you can

00:17:07.620 assist and help

00:17:09.020 cassie garcia

00:17:10.900 hi cassie

00:17:11.960 how are you

00:17:12.800 hi glenn

00:17:14.520 i'm doing great

00:17:15.560 thank you so much

00:17:16.400 i'm honored to be on

00:17:17.060 with you this morning

00:17:17.660 thank you

00:17:18.360 now

00:17:18.700 tell me about your race

00:17:20.240 because this is a district

00:17:22.140 that has gone

00:17:23.440 double digit

00:17:24.820 democratic

00:17:26.000 in in the past

00:17:27.340 and it's

00:17:28.000 not going that way

00:17:29.140 this time

00:17:29.880 why

00:17:30.700 so

00:17:32.280 there's so many reasons

00:17:33.900 why right now

00:17:34.460 you know this district

00:17:35.200 is a toss-up race

00:17:36.280 one of the 28 races

00:17:37.280 to watch in the country

00:17:38.300 the democrats

00:17:40.000 are destroying

00:17:40.900 the country

00:17:41.420 that i love so much

00:17:42.360 that i grew up in the

00:17:42.980 river ground valley

00:17:43.480 past 37 years

00:17:44.580 i'm a conservative republican

00:17:46.240 the democrat party

00:17:48.060 has left the hispanic

00:17:49.040 community

00:17:49.360 and we're seeing

00:17:49.920 the failed

00:17:50.580 biden

00:17:51.240 queer 0.99

00:17:51.680 pelosi agenda

00:17:52.880 and we don't support

00:17:54.260 open border

00:17:54.980 we don't look

00:17:55.780 and as a lifelong

00:17:56.380 south texan

00:17:57.020 and the wife

00:17:57.640 of a border patrol agent

00:17:58.940 i don't like what

00:17:59.740 we're seeing in this country

00:18:00.760 you look the border's broken

00:18:01.980 price is out of control

00:18:03.340 and people can't find

00:18:04.940 doctors

00:18:05.420 in our community

00:18:06.900 what do you mean

00:18:07.660 people can't find doctors

00:18:08.880 so four of the nine counties

00:18:10.760 in this district

00:18:11.400 do not even have a doctor

00:18:12.780 do not even have a doctor 0.97

00:18:14.360 and henry queer 0.92

00:18:15.460 has been in office

00:18:16.600 since 1987

00:18:18.080 oh my god

00:18:19.140 because i've been in

00:18:19.620 kindergarten

00:18:20.060 and what do we have gone

00:18:21.800 you know he's under

00:18:22.540 a criminal investigation

00:18:23.860 for corruption

00:18:24.780 people are ready

00:18:25.920 for a change

00:18:26.620 they're waking up

00:18:27.400 his span

00:18:28.080 i'm meeting democrats

00:18:29.120 glenn every single day

00:18:30.540 that said kathy

00:18:31.120 i voted for you

00:18:33.080 i voted republican

00:18:34.040 because we talk about

00:18:34.960 our values of faith

00:18:35.920 family and freedom

00:18:37.180 so what is the

00:18:39.500 how is the border

00:18:41.520 um

00:18:42.440 debate

00:18:43.560 that is going on

00:18:44.860 in america

00:18:45.440 how is that

00:18:46.680 affecting your

00:18:47.600 community

00:18:48.240 and what is the

00:18:49.960 take from the

00:18:50.560 hispanic community

00:18:51.620 on what's happening

00:18:52.960 at the border

00:18:53.480 that's a great question

00:18:55.240 you know

00:18:55.480 any part of the

00:18:56.860 community in district

00:18:57.560 20 whether i'm

00:18:58.240 on the border

00:18:58.880 down in real grand

00:18:59.620 in real grand

00:19:00.400 city star county

00:19:01.140 in laredo

00:19:01.800 up in san antonio

00:19:02.720 guadalupi county

00:19:03.440 people on their

00:19:04.720 top issues on their

00:19:05.560 mind when i'm talking

00:19:06.120 republicans and democrats

00:19:07.160 and independents

00:19:07.780 and chelme kathy

00:19:08.320 what is happening

00:19:09.180 at the border

00:19:09.740 why has the

00:19:10.640 administration done

00:19:11.160 anything to secure

00:19:11.880 our communities

00:19:12.800 i met a mother

00:19:13.700 um who lost

00:19:14.980 her daughter

00:19:15.280 to fentanyl

00:19:15.800 she was 17

00:19:16.500 years old

00:19:16.940 she died july

00:19:17.500 20th this year

00:19:18.300 i met a father

00:19:19.500 last night

00:19:20.180 that he lost

00:19:21.060 his son

00:19:21.360 he was 24

00:19:21.960 years old

00:19:22.800 to fentanyl

00:19:23.380 people are losing

00:19:24.420 their children

00:19:24.920 because they're

00:19:25.360 thinking they're

00:19:25.700 taking a sleeping

00:19:26.460 aid pill

00:19:27.040 and it's laced

00:19:27.940 with fentanyl

00:19:28.560 we have a drug

00:19:29.700 crisis

00:19:30.760 we have a failed

00:19:31.380 leadership crisis

00:19:32.040 we have a border

00:19:32.700 crisis

00:19:33.160 and you know

00:19:33.680 i have uh

00:19:34.660 henry quair

00:19:35.480 who's been in

00:19:36.540 office for 18

00:19:37.360 years as a member

00:19:38.260 of congress

00:19:38.860 lost the endorsement

00:19:41.020 from the national

00:19:41.480 border patrol council

00:19:42.340 who's always endorsed

00:19:43.220 henry quair

00:19:43.660 because you know

00:19:44.420 he's a slick politician

00:19:45.340 he can go on tv

00:19:46.380 on fox news

00:19:47.380 and say he's done

00:19:48.760 you know everything

00:19:49.300 to secure our southern

00:19:50.080 border

00:19:50.420 but at the end of the

00:19:51.180 day he votes 95

00:19:52.820 percent of the time

00:19:53.800 with nancy pelosi

00:19:54.600 95 percent of the time

00:19:56.180 and he's lockstep

00:19:57.140 with joe biden

00:19:57.760 and he voted against

00:19:59.500 life-saving

00:20:00.740 infrastructure

00:20:01.840 so the national

00:20:02.700 border patrol council

00:20:03.420 has now endorsed

00:20:04.300 me in this race

00:20:05.380 that is fantastic

00:20:06.780 talking so

00:20:07.920 and talking to voters

00:20:08.720 on the ground

00:20:09.100 they're they're tired

00:20:09.920 of these failed

00:20:10.540 policies and that's

00:20:11.500 impacting our

00:20:12.400 hospital systems

00:20:13.200 our school systems

00:20:14.120 we're having bailouts

00:20:15.800 every single day

00:20:16.680 um you know

00:20:17.960 the border is a mess

00:20:19.060 it's an invasion

00:20:19.760 it's an invasion

00:20:20.580 and we need to secure

00:20:22.040 our border

00:20:23.040 you know what

00:20:23.440 the president of the

00:20:24.040 united states

00:20:24.620 has done nothing

00:20:25.540 nothing

00:20:26.420 to secure the border

00:20:28.400 we have a kamala

00:20:29.160 kamala harris

00:20:29.940 who's our borders are

00:20:30.740 who hasn't even

00:20:31.440 visited the border

00:20:32.320 and so people are

00:20:33.860 just frustrated

00:20:34.620 and my husband

00:20:35.200 is a border patrol agent

00:20:36.000 serving his great

00:20:36.580 country for 26 years

00:20:37.880 and i will tell you

00:20:38.560 the men and women

00:20:38.980 in green

00:20:39.340 they need support

00:20:41.180 they need the personnel

00:20:42.400 the technology

00:20:43.140 and the resources

00:20:43.820 and henry quayar

00:20:45.580 voted for a bill

00:20:46.700 it's going to make

00:20:47.140 inflation worse

00:20:47.800 and he said

00:20:48.620 uh he voted

00:20:50.260 uh to allow

00:20:51.080 he wants 87,000

00:20:52.680 more irs agents

00:20:54.400 we don't need 87,000

00:20:56.180 hours agents

00:20:56.760 we need 87,000

00:20:58.040 border patrol agents

00:20:58.980 custom officers

00:20:59.960 and security school

00:21:00.960 officers to keep

00:21:01.820 our community safe

00:21:02.820 so henry quayar

00:21:04.680 he is he's

00:21:05.940 in trouble

00:21:06.620 you do say

00:21:07.260 he's under

00:21:07.680 investigation

00:21:08.400 it's some form

00:21:09.560 they say he's

00:21:10.220 not the main

00:21:11.220 person but

00:21:12.320 involved in

00:21:13.340 something to do

00:21:14.160 with abijah

00:21:14.820 and azerbaijan

00:21:16.520 uh and corruption

00:21:18.140 there but

00:21:18.760 also uh there

00:21:20.820 is something that

00:21:21.680 happened in 2012

00:21:23.600 with him and his

00:21:24.740 brother they got

00:21:26.360 a donation from

00:21:27.700 a guy who does

00:21:29.000 uh you know

00:21:30.640 who lines the

00:21:32.080 pockets of

00:21:32.800 politicians for

00:21:34.400 the drug cartels

00:21:35.540 and that

00:21:36.740 happened in

00:21:37.240 2012 and

00:21:38.160 it came out

00:21:38.900 or i should

00:21:39.360 say it came

00:21:39.900 out in 2012

00:21:40.780 but if i'm

00:21:41.980 not mistaken

00:21:42.860 uh somebody

00:21:44.820 was somebody

00:21:46.220 was killed

00:21:47.100 on the border

00:21:48.060 by the zettas

00:21:49.280 and uh the

00:21:51.460 mother came

00:21:52.200 out and blamed

00:21:53.340 henry quayar

00:21:54.380 and his brother

00:21:55.060 and said

00:21:56.340 these guys

00:21:57.140 are on the

00:21:57.720 take

00:21:58.140 and only

00:21:59.700 then did

00:22:01.100 he return

00:22:02.180 that money

00:22:02.840 if i'm not

00:22:03.440 mistaken

00:22:03.900 correct

00:22:04.800 that's

00:22:05.380 that's

00:22:06.040 correct

00:22:06.380 you know

00:22:06.820 this story

00:22:07.760 you know

00:22:08.460 so i'll tell

00:22:09.220 you this

00:22:09.700 people in

00:22:10.780 in my community

00:22:11.740 are very disturbed

00:22:13.060 by the scandal

00:22:13.640 you know it

00:22:14.800 turns out that

00:22:15.480 henry quayar

00:22:16.020 and his brother

00:22:17.060 who's a local

00:22:18.200 sheriff in web

00:22:19.220 county took

00:22:20.020 thousands of

00:22:20.660 dollars from

00:22:21.060 the convicted

00:22:21.640 money launderer

00:22:22.600 from los zettas

00:22:23.540 which is the

00:22:24.140 most dangerous

00:22:24.780 drug cartel

00:22:25.480 in mexico

00:22:25.960 and according

00:22:27.120 to a federal

00:22:27.620 indictment

00:22:28.060 you know the

00:22:28.440 money launderer's

00:22:28.980 job was to

00:22:29.440 funnel cash

00:22:30.040 between the

00:22:30.420 cartels and

00:22:30.980 the corrupt

00:22:31.260 politicians

00:22:31.720 which raises

00:22:32.680 a lot of

00:22:33.100 questions

00:22:33.600 um but look

00:22:34.940 this is part

00:22:35.500 of a larger

00:22:35.920 larger pattern

00:22:36.780 with henry quayar

00:22:37.460 he's already

00:22:38.260 under a very

00:22:39.100 serious criminal

00:22:40.080 investigation for

00:22:40.840 corruption involving

00:22:41.720 a foreign government

00:22:42.620 you know and the

00:22:43.560 voters in our

00:22:44.760 community are fed

00:22:45.660 up we need a

00:22:46.520 member of congress

00:22:47.280 who will focus

00:22:48.160 solely on fixing

00:22:49.440 the economy

00:22:49.940 securing the border

00:22:51.140 and bringing

00:22:51.860 health care to

00:22:52.500 south texas

00:22:53.080 and you know

00:22:53.880 glenn because

00:22:54.580 you're from texas

00:22:55.420 we have entire

00:22:56.560 counties down

00:22:57.400 here without a

00:22:58.040 single doctor

00:22:58.740 and henry quayar

00:22:59.920 who's been in

00:23:00.700 office since i was

00:23:01.540 in kindergarten

00:23:02.200 has failed us

00:23:03.560 and that's why

00:23:04.520 come november 8th

00:23:05.920 we are voting

00:23:06.800 for a better way

00:23:07.920 forward for our

00:23:08.480 community and we

00:23:09.080 will see a big

00:23:09.940 red wave here

00:23:10.680 in south texas

00:23:11.460 uh you i mean

00:23:13.100 it's uh that's

00:23:13.960 quite an amazing

00:23:14.740 thing the uh

00:23:16.120 if i'm not

00:23:16.560 mistaken the

00:23:17.240 district is

00:23:18.520 70 percent

00:23:19.460 um hispanic

00:23:21.160 which would

00:23:22.940 lead people to

00:23:23.840 believe that it's

00:23:24.720 going to go to

00:23:25.360 the democrats

00:23:25.960 but things are

00:23:27.220 changing rapidly

00:23:28.940 um let me ask

00:23:30.340 you i have not

00:23:31.800 met any

00:23:33.120 latino

00:23:34.340 that uh

00:23:35.880 likes being

00:23:36.580 called

00:23:37.040 latinx

00:23:38.580 or latinx

00:23:40.160 um

00:23:41.300 and even

00:23:42.940 this weekend

00:23:43.860 they were saying

00:23:45.660 that hispanics

00:23:46.600 who are voting

00:23:47.420 for republicans

00:23:48.640 are uneducated 0.99

00:23:50.260 and they're 0.95

00:23:51.800 uh latinx

00:23:53.180 what what

00:23:54.040 who are

00:23:55.220 these people

00:23:55.900 that are

00:23:56.520 trying to

00:23:57.460 change

00:23:58.200 latinos 0.98

00:23:59.260 you know

00:24:01.100 when i first

00:24:02.340 heard of latinx

00:24:03.500 or whatever you

00:24:04.060 want to call it

00:24:04.520 i honestly thought

00:24:05.700 it was some

00:24:06.280 kind of new

00:24:06.820 bleach line

00:24:07.440 or something

00:24:07.960 you know

00:24:08.360 none of us

00:24:09.240 know what

00:24:09.560 it means

00:24:09.940 and this

00:24:10.200 is a reminder

00:24:11.000 of how

00:24:11.760 out of touch

00:24:12.680 the democrats

00:24:13.240 are with

00:24:13.780 hispanics

00:24:14.400 and it's

00:24:15.000 not just

00:24:15.480 on the

00:24:15.760 culture

00:24:16.060 level

00:24:16.480 the biden

00:24:17.180 pelosi

00:24:17.580 coyer

00:24:17.860 agenda

00:24:18.080 is destroying

00:24:18.720 our community

00:24:19.300 we've never

00:24:20.320 seen inflation

00:24:21.020 this bad

00:24:21.520 and the border

00:24:22.360 is a mess

00:24:22.780 and people

00:24:23.080 i have to

00:24:23.540 go to

00:24:23.800 people that

00:24:24.720 i know

00:24:24.980 talking to

00:24:25.440 people in

00:24:25.700 the community

00:24:26.120 have to go

00:24:27.020 to mexico

00:24:27.700 for doctor's

00:24:29.220 appointments

00:24:29.580 and mammograms

00:24:30.380 and as an

00:24:30.740 american

00:24:31.180 and a woman

00:24:32.260 with a

00:24:32.900 pre-existing

00:24:33.320 condition

00:24:33.660 i think

00:24:34.140 that this

00:24:34.540 is just

00:24:35.000 disgraceful

00:24:35.700 and that's 0.98

00:24:36.420 why hispanics 1.00

00:24:37.240 are turning

00:24:38.100 the page

00:24:38.740 on henry

00:24:39.460 coyer

00:24:39.780 joe biden

00:24:40.860 and nancy

00:24:41.640 pelosi's

00:24:42.280 radical agenda

00:24:43.200 so uh

00:24:44.460 cassie

00:24:45.000 garcia

00:24:45.420 how can

00:24:46.200 people help

00:24:46.740 you

00:24:47.020 if we are

00:24:49.180 five days

00:24:49.780 away

00:24:50.120 and i'm

00:24:50.720 not

00:24:50.880 wait wait

00:24:51.220 wait let me

00:24:51.900 say that

00:24:52.240 let me say

00:24:52.600 that we

00:24:53.160 are five

00:24:53.720 days away

00:24:54.460 from the

00:24:55.020 fundamental

00:24:55.500 transformation

00:24:56.220 of the

00:24:57.160 united states

00:24:57.920 of america

00:24:58.900 that's great

00:24:59.420 we're about

00:25:04.960 to transform

00:25:05.600 it back

00:25:06.260 in five

00:25:06.860 days

00:25:07.180 anyway

00:25:07.580 that's

00:25:08.900 that's

00:25:45.740 thank you so much glenn thank you for having me on you bet cassie garcia i think that should be

00:25:51.100 this is historic america we are five days away from the fundamental transformation

00:25:57.600 because this is historic this is a minority this is a hispanic and a hispanic woman

00:26:05.120 they've never elected a hispanic woman because they're so misogynistic i guess but this is

00:26:14.860 historic we can now change the world i have hope for change let's break that glass ceiling together

00:26:24.480 shall we let's do that uh cassie garcia cassie for congress.com this one is winnable but it

00:26:34.280 requires boots on the ground and people digging uh this one will be a massive massive loss

00:26:43.100 uh and an indication of a real red wave

00:26:46.860 you're listening to the best of the glenn beck program

00:26:52.820 just a few minutes i hope to uh be able to get a hold of the uh

00:27:02.180 the government accountability legal director this guy was a a big guy um at the fbi don't hold that

00:27:11.560 against him he's on the good team now um he served in the fbi as a supervisory special agent leading a

00:27:18.020 large section in the fbi's directorate of intelligence he's also served in the army he led

00:27:25.540 more than 300 combat missions in iraq um rescued hostages i mean the guy's really solid and there

00:27:33.020 was a story that came out um let's see a couple of days ago i think uh that is warning about the

00:27:41.800 doj's memo that was released they released a summary of their comprehensive election day

00:27:52.180 plan for next tuesday they said they're just wanting to ensure that all qualified voters have

00:27:59.780 the opportunity to cast their ballots and have their votes counted free of discrimination intimidation

00:28:04.340 or fraud in the election process okay sounds great i'm all for it consistent with the long-standing

00:28:12.060 justice department practices and procedures the civil rights criminal and national security divisions

00:28:17.800 are going to spearhead the effort the plan says the civil rights division will conduct monitoring in

00:28:24.480 the field and that civil rights division attorneys will be prepared to receive complaints that day in

00:28:31.500 real time also it said prosecutors at the public integrity section will be on duty while polls are

00:28:39.020 open to take election integrity complaints and the doj is prepared to hear complaints about

00:28:45.180 intimidation at the polls and practices that have a discriminatory purpose or a discriminatory result

00:28:51.760 this is absolutely incredible this is the doj

00:28:58.900 propping up because the fear is is that they will um they'll go into republican areas and uh really

00:29:09.900 concentrate there and turn a blind eye in democratic areas we have him on the phone we have stewart

00:29:18.480 whitson he is uh with the foundation for uh government accountability he's their legal director

00:29:24.360 and he has been ringing the bell on this one tell me what this means stewart

00:29:28.620 hey good morning glenn thanks for having me on sure yeah so this doj press release is just part of a much

00:29:36.820 bigger scheme that kind of centers on biden's eo eo 14019 which maybe we can talk about in a second but

00:29:43.540 but this press release in a nutshell it's basically just a thinly veiled threat to conservative states

00:29:49.360 that have passed new election integrity laws especially ones related to poll watchers

00:29:54.660 and it's basically saying look if you try to enforce these laws if you try to carry out you know the poll

00:30:00.360 watching activities which everyone knows the right has been working really hard to recruit and train folks to do

00:30:05.140 oh yeah uh that the doj civil rights division is going to come after them um so yeah so in what way

00:30:11.840 for what it the state is the one that makes the law it's in the constitution

00:30:18.560 so what are they coming after them with

00:30:22.000 well so what they're threatening i guess you could say is they're setting up hotlines

00:30:29.120 and they're saying they're using phrases like you know intimidating voters um or doing some sort of

00:30:35.800 election practice that would lead to a discriminatory purpose or a discriminatory result and basically what

00:30:40.780 it is is they're setting up these hotlines and they're inviting left-wing you know their left-wing

00:30:46.380 followers uh to call into these hotlines and file these kind of complaints but then the doj civil

00:30:52.420 rights division which is led you know obviously by political appointees of biden can then come in

00:30:58.180 and launch investigations and try to exert pressure on these local election offices and try to discourage

00:31:05.860 them from carrying out state election laws that have recently passed and so it's basically just a way

00:31:10.780 it's just one again one of many different things they're trying to do to try to tip the scales in

00:31:16.140 favor of the left this is something we're working hard to stop uh you know i i know you were high up at

00:31:21.920 one point with the with the fbi but the fbi and the doj have become gestapo light no comment on that

00:31:34.100 are you there no no no okay i mean i think no so of course so i would so i'd say like in this again

00:31:40.520 i'm obviously biased because i came from the fbi yeah but it's like 99 of the organization are good

00:31:46.360 honest people who believe in the constitution they've sworn to uphold and defend the constitution

00:31:51.360 against all enemies foreign domestic and they truly believe that but the problem is if you have weak

00:31:56.140 leadership or corrupt leadership in either doj or fbi at the top then that can color everything wrong

00:32:03.880 and then and people can be allowed to do things that you know the rest of the organization um would

00:32:09.820 just abhor but but you know it's it's kind of like really bad things happen when good men do nothing

00:32:16.740 um isn't it you know you can't say you're just following orders if you know that this is wrong

00:32:24.260 you need to come out and speak up against it don't the because i agree with you the agents that i have ever

00:32:33.020 met uh have always been kind and and professional and everything else and i i want to believe

00:32:39.700 that but the silence you know when you only have 25 people who are and that's a lot but you only have

00:32:45.720 25 people who are whistleblowers on what's going on in the fbi and the doj that's concerning

00:32:52.220 yeah well and i think you know the fbi so for instance i the most all the work i did involved

00:32:59.720 international terrorism terrorism right and so there's large groups of the fbi and doj that aren't

00:33:05.740 that have no you know because everything's compartmented and you don't you stay in your

00:33:09.600 uh lane um but i will say i think you point to a good point there's 25 whistleblowers who've come

00:33:15.300 forward so people that are in a position to see things that they think are wrong are coming forward

00:33:21.000 and i think once things go the way it looks like things are going to go with the midterm elections

00:33:26.280 elections and you know republicans gain some control in the house the ability to utilize the

00:33:31.780 oversight powers and really you know drive that home that's going to be good for the american people

00:33:37.300 it's going to be and frankly it's going to be good for doj and fbi when that happens i have to tell you

00:33:41.860 the the the the trap they're laying for the american people is just remarkable it's very well thought

00:33:49.440 out and planned and if there isn't oversight if we don't turn this thing around in this election and

00:33:55.200 you don't get oversight from opposing parties um this becomes very very dangerous for the american

00:34:02.880 people they're they're talking about misinformation being felonies that's yeah not good you're exactly

00:34:09.560 right this is this is a plan but i gotta tell you like the biden administration doesn't deserve all the

00:34:15.160 credit for coming up with this plan right this plan was actually developed and dreamed up by a left-wing

00:34:21.040 think tank known as demos and so demos they crafted a plan to issue an executive use the power of a

00:34:30.100 presidential executive order to try to exert the federal executive branch into some into an area

00:34:35.820 where it does not belong which is the administration of elections as you alluded to earlier obviously

00:34:40.660 article one section four clause one the elections clause leads the time places a manner of elections to

00:34:46.220 the states with limited oversight from congress but nowhere is the president of the united states

00:34:51.580 allowed to insert himself that's exactly what the president is trying to do with eo 14019 and that's

00:34:59.260 why fga is working so hard to stop that effort and so basically i you know i know a lot of your

00:35:04.240 listeners are going to be familiar with the zucker bucks yeah like that's going to be something 1.00

00:35:08.480 they're very familiar with well this thing we call this biden bucks because eo 14019 is is zucker bucks

00:35:17.200 on steroids right instead of mark zuckerberg it's joe biden and instead of 400 million dollars it is

00:35:25.320 unlimited power and resources and reach of the federal executive branch led by biden's political appointees

00:35:31.100 and so that's that's the problem um and so last year we tried to get to the bottom of this

00:35:36.440 and we filed a number of foia requests to shed some light on the scheme right when we saw this

00:35:42.380 eo come out the eo came out in march of 2021 yep and i should just say the eo for listeners if they

00:35:48.520 haven't seen it it orders every federal agency so this is by ordering every federal agency to develop

00:35:55.860 a strategic plan to do two things promote voter registration and promote voter participation

00:36:02.840 so voter participation that's another way to say that is get out the boat right yep and so it gets

00:36:09.100 even worse the order also commands all federal agencies to solicit so to actually reach out and

00:36:16.540 try to solicit and support quote approved third party groups to engage and and registration efforts

00:36:24.260 and mobilization efforts on federal agency property using federal resources god heavens the order doesn't

00:36:31.160 say you know who gets to decide which groups are approved what's the criteria all that is a

00:36:37.980 mystery because the biden administration won't disclose it and that's what our foias are trying

00:36:42.000 to get at um obviously if it's being you know so the effort i should say is being led by the domestic

00:36:47.340 policy advisor which many listeners will know is susan rice um that doesn't give any extra comfort

00:36:53.480 yeah either yeah um and so obviously so that's the key that we're trying to get to and so basically

00:36:58.760 what happened last year we filed foia requests to try to get these answers and this is going to

00:37:04.240 shock you glenn but the biden administration stonewalled us yeah so just ignore the foia

00:37:09.820 request that the foia law doesn't matter to them right we're with uh stewart whitson he's with the

00:37:15.340 foundation for government accountability legal director he's been ringing the bell now for a while and they

00:37:20.580 are on top of it uh on what uh the administration has done with a new executive order and what the

00:37:27.280 fbi and doj will be doing uh next tuesday um stewart last night the president said we need to be patient

00:37:33.860 for the results he's expecting many races he said won't be decided or called perhaps for weeks

00:37:41.620 is this alluding to maybe the effects of the executive order it definitely could and so that

00:37:50.180 but that's the whole million dollar question is no one knows so not even over 50 members of congress

00:37:56.700 have demanded to see copies of the strategic plans created by all these agencies to carry out this order

00:38:04.020 secretaries of state from across the country uh more than 13 attorney generals

00:38:09.940 signed a letter demanding the rescission of the executive order everyone is kind of united around

00:38:16.020 the fact that this order is improper it is illegal unconstitutional and unethical on its face but we

00:38:23.480 can't get answers and so that's why fga has turned to the kind of the one source left which is the courts

00:38:29.520 and using the power of the courts to compel doj and the biden administration to comply um i also think

00:38:36.260 following what you know knock on wood right don't want to jinx anything but the red wave that's going to come

00:38:41.560 november 8th i think you're going to see congressional oversight committees in a really strong position

00:38:47.160 to gather evidence and i think the other thing that's going to come is state ags so state attorneys general

00:38:54.020 is following the midterm elections are going to be well positioned to file lawsuits to help stop this

00:39:01.060 executive order because because again that's the big long play is going to be 2024 yeah i don't think

00:39:06.580 they're organized enough to get all their ducks in a row in time for the midterms i think you

00:39:11.220 there is there are a ton of efforts that are already underway you've seen probably reporting on that with

00:39:16.520 hud and a ton of other agencies engaging in unprecedented efforts um but again there's more at this point

00:39:23.120 we know less uh than we should so we're working hard so isn't it interesting to you i mean it seems

00:39:29.960 completely unreasonable to say the questioning of our elections is somehow or another disinformation

00:39:38.280 misinformation or you know a felony when executive orders like this are not fully explained when when

00:39:46.380 the administration is changing things that have always been in place isn't it unreasonable to expect

00:39:55.240 that people won't have questions yeah of course it is and that's and we are you know one of the

00:40:01.540 things we always say with election integrity so obviously we're trying to make it easy to vote but

00:40:05.360 hard to cheat but the key with election integrity isn't just stopping fraud it's also inspiring voter

00:40:11.400 confidence correct and that is really is the difference between the left and the right the right

00:40:15.820 genuinely believes that they just they want everyone right and left to wake up the morning after an

00:40:22.480 election and just have confidence that whether your candidate won or lost yep you at least know it

00:40:27.660 was fair right and if your candidate lost hey you got to roll up your sleeves and get to work

00:40:31.760 that's the kind of world the right ones the left doesn't want that the left doesn't care and so that so

00:40:37.740 that's that's kind of the big difference and so of course that's what they do they vilify it that's

00:40:41.320 why they're again going back to that press release they're going after poll watchers like these are good

00:40:46.860 people good folks who are literally devoted hours and hours of their time to take training to get qualified

00:40:53.940 in their state to serve as a poll watcher and all they want to do is just go there to help do their civic

00:40:59.560 duty to help promote free and fair elections and what are they doing they're literally trying to intimidate

00:41:05.140 them and so it's unacceptable we're going to do FDA can do everything we can to stop this as a matter of fact we

00:41:12.060 actually filed a motion this morning in federal court to compel DOJ once and for all to disclose

00:41:18.420 the documents that it's withheld so it's strategic plan so that order is now in the hand of a judge

00:41:24.840 and so because we're a florida-based company our 501c3 we're based in florida we actually have the

00:41:31.320 ability to get you know fair judges that are impartial and apply the law and so we have a trump

00:41:37.240 appointed florida-based judge who we believe is going to fairly apply the law um and so we're

00:41:42.500 optimistic good either way we're going to continue our fight we're going to share everything we got

00:41:47.020 with attorneys general and congress and try to help stop this good thank you for everything that you guys

00:41:52.680 are doing uh i really appreciate we'll follow up with you after the election the foundation for
