00:00:32.140She was in studio today, Emma Morris and Ken Paxton, who is our attorney general, pushing back against the Meadows, otherwise known as Epic City, that big Muslim community in Texas.
00:00:45.760Where that goes next is anybody's business, but we talked to him about that.0.97
00:00:49.700And don't forget, tomorrow night on Torch, you can see it and it'll be free.
00:00:55.340You can't participate in it with the insiders, but you'll be able to watch it at glenbeck.com slash events or glenbeck.com slash torch.
00:01:04.280And we are at Ellis Island celebrating America's 250th birthday with fireworks at the statue, music, and some really great, amazing history.
00:01:17.300You don't want to miss this live event tomorrow night.
00:01:23.180Don't miss it, Saturday, 7 p.m. Eastern Time, only at glenbeck.com slash events, glenbeck.com slash torch.
00:01:33.560It's incredibly important to be on the right side of history, or at least to the extent that you can be,
00:01:38.760and that means many times that you're taking a stand against the things that you feel are wrong.
00:01:43.360And, of course, there are a lot of different ways to do that.
00:01:45.420Some of them come at great personal cost, but not every stand has to cost.
00:01:50.060In fact, the case of switching to Patriot Mobile is going to do exactly the opposite.
00:01:55.700The Patriot Mobile service, the choice is really clear.
00:01:58.900You get the same reliable service at a lower cost, and none of your money will go to leftist causes.
00:02:04.220They operate on all three major networks.
00:02:06.580You can keep the plan that you have, but it's more affordable, and you can make it easy to bring your phone or get a new one, keep your number or get a new one.
00:02:15.980And so you end up with reliable coverage and a company you can actually feel good about supporting every single month and saving money.
00:04:04.800Can somebody take him off the air, Sarah, and see if you can find a better place for him to be so we don't lose him in the middle of the year?
00:04:12.100this. He is, um, he's running for Cornyn's job. And remember he said, if Cornyn would push through
00:04:20.280the save act, I'll drop out, I'll drop out. Uh, and Cornyn was like, I'm going to do that. You
00:04:26.520bet I'll do that. He didn't do that. He didn't do that. We're still looking at the save act.
00:04:31.560Nobody's doing anything about it. And like I said, with Cornyn and, you know, his whole,
00:04:36.200uh you know i'm gonna look i'm gonna look into this epic city thing until people stop paying
00:04:42.720attention to it and then we're gonna drop it that's exactly what cornyn does um he's there
00:04:49.140now ken are you there we have a better connection yes yeah better yes better okay good okay good
00:04:57.240yeah so so so tell me what is tell me tell me first on what's happening with this epic city
00:05:03.360thing the meadows yeah so this uh this group whatever they call themselves they actually
00:05:09.420call themselves community capital initially known as epic city a muslim development actually in my
00:05:15.360county next door close to where you used to live uh in collin county and they sued uh texas workforce
00:05:22.180commission saying that they were that the workforce commission had agreed to certain terms
00:05:27.580and that they no longer were epic was no longer committing any violations of fair housing laws
00:05:32.980unfortunately for epic uh more complaints were filed and the workforce commission found more
00:05:39.940violations and then hud started investigating and they're they're now reviewing this whole
00:05:44.920uh epic city situation and then of course we you know how it is in austin texas we have a liberal
00:05:50.360judge amy uh clark meacham comes in and says no no no you uh you have to go forward with this
00:05:57.300agreement despite these violations you have to allow them epic to proceed with
00:06:02.580their with their development so we appealed which you were discussing the
00:06:06.840little intricacies of the legal world our appeal stops for injunction until
00:06:11.980that appeal is resolved so good thing is it's a 15th circuit court what are the
00:06:17.860violations that you see so the violations are actually determined by the
00:06:25.660Workforce Commission, and the initial violations supposedly were worked out, but the problem is
00:06:31.280there have been new complaints, and I don't know what the new complaints are. I just know that
00:06:34.900people have filed complaints with the Texas Workforce Commission. They're now investigating
00:06:39.040those complaints, and HUD's also investigating, so neither the Texas Workforce Commission
00:06:44.540does not want to go forward with this agreement when there are other violations outstanding that
00:06:49.040have not been resolved by Epic. So, Ken, for people who don't know, I mean, there's a lot
00:06:58.380of people in Texas who just, they don't understand that the entire culture of Texas is being lost
00:07:05.660and that Texas is a major target of an Islamist movement. I mean, this is how you have no-go0.85
00:07:13.740zones in cities all over the world. Explain this to somebody who's really not paying attention to
00:07:19.480what your problem is or what people are fearing this is actually. Yeah, I think it's interesting
00:07:28.120because it seems like it's been over, you know, it started out kind of slowly now. There are more
00:07:33.840and more of these developments that are exclusively Muslim and supposedly Sharia law governs. Well,1.00
00:07:42.120you know, obviously people have the right to worship how they want to, but they do not have
00:07:45.640the right to have their own laws. And one of the reasons we sued Epic separately from this
00:07:50.220workforce commission issue is we felt like they were violating our state and federal securities
00:07:54.880laws. And we think there are other issues involved with how they structure the transaction that are
00:07:59.660legal. And we certainly think that they violated fair housing laws, which are not really ours to
00:08:04.900enforce, the federal ones anyway. But, you know, if you're going to live in our country, you have
00:08:10.220to follow our state and federal laws, and you have to follow our Constitution, you can't
00:08:14.700develop your own little community and then decide that you're going to determine your
00:08:18.660own laws that are separate and apart from the laws of the nation.
00:08:25.620Why are they so intent on building a Muslim community, this size especially, in Texas?0.99
00:08:34.300How many developments are there, and why is Texas such a big target?0.98
00:08:39.500Well, look, I mean, I don't know, but I mean, you can only surmise that this is a pretty important state that if it doesn't stay strong, if it doesn't stay really conservative, if it doesn't stay as a Republican state, the country overall is going to be harmed by that.
00:08:54.720And potentially, you know, we may not ever elect another Republican Congress or another Republican president again.
00:09:00.580And of course, that affects the Supreme Court.
00:09:02.260So all branches of government that are controlled by one party, which I think is the ultimate goal here.
00:09:05.880The ultimate goal, whether through these developments or just generally the progressive movement in this country, is to have a one-party system where the elections are rigged, but no one says they're rigged.
00:09:17.120They just are rigged through mail-in ballots and illegal voting and no photo ID, all the things that we're trying to do with the Save America Act.
00:09:24.500And it looks like we're having fair elections.
00:09:26.260And ultimately, what the Democrats want and the progressives want is they want a one party country where most of the elections are rigged, but they never say they're rigged and they control the government through, you know, a few people.
00:09:43.840You know, if you look at I was just on with Piers Morgan, I'm going over to Tommy Robinson's rally here in a couple of weeks over in in England.0.90
00:09:54.380And, you know, this is what's happening to England and all over Europe, and it's becoming a real problem.
00:10:04.600And I was talking to Piers Morgan, and he just said, well, there's not a real problem here.
00:10:08.280It's, you know, why does everybody keep singling out the Muslims?
00:10:11.800I don't think anybody's singling out Muslims.0.53
00:10:15.380Islamists, 48% in a recent poll in Europe, 48% of those immigrants say they want Sharia law in Europe, that that's their goal is to have Sharia law.0.77
00:10:28.180You're running, and I'm going to be encouraging every single person to ask their politician of this, and if they answer the wrong way, don't vote for them.1.00
00:11:49.500Yep. And the fact that we haven't maybe learned our lessons from that incident, you know, it's a problem.
00:11:57.680Look, I've spoken to Muslim leaders in Texas, and I've said to them, you cannot expect us, the rest of this state, to allow you to push Sharia law or even to be in a position where you won't speak out against terrorism when it happens from your religion.
00:12:20.820You need to speak out against it and let us know that you're with us and that you don't support terrorist actions in our country.0.69
00:12:28.980And you guys don't speak out when it happens enough.
00:20:26.480I was interested in taking risks in a way that you know
00:20:29.800another editor wouldn't have been or maybe i myself wouldn't have been today right um and you
00:20:35.540know like i told you last night you were like how did you know that it was all real and i was like
00:20:42.240i don't think i can have a way to do to know that you know what i knew was what i was reporting was
00:20:47.580real um and that was enough and that was enough for our editors and that was enough you know i
00:20:52.220think for our ethics what you were reporting were things on the laptop are real you weren't saying
00:20:58.180the laptop is 100 well this is like how could i confirm something that has been through a chain
00:21:03.240of custody what i can confirm is what i'm reporting what the way that i did that was you
00:21:08.100know and we're fast forwarding through the story but you know it's good to get to the end um you
00:21:13.000know i i had to go through this thing it's like thousands of documents and i had to find first
00:21:19.360of all what the angle is what's the story i remember i called my boss my editor-in-chief
00:21:23.240michelle got health um no longer at the post but legendary person and uh i was like i don't know
00:21:29.680how to make sense of all of this it's like too much like it's it's too high volume my brain is
00:21:34.860like glitching like i don't know what to think and she's like well listen like we know that hunter
00:21:38.500biden is a consultant we know he's sketchy she was like that's been reported she was like joe
00:21:43.160biden's the one running for president like find me where joe biden comes into this if he if he does
00:21:47.440and that was when it clicked it's like oh yeah duh like this is about joe biden this isn't even
00:21:52.780about Hunter? Why do I even care about Hunter? And then I just started kind of going through it.
00:21:57.240And we found, you know, couldn't have been more than 10 documents that were relevant to that.
00:22:02.780And then you go from having to verify a hard drive that has been through a chain of custody that you
00:22:09.720believe or don't believe. It doesn't matter. It's are these documents real? And the way that we were
00:22:15.900able to do that was very simple. And I talked about this when I testified in Congress about
00:22:19.820this story which i guess the real scandal isn't even the story itself right but never is yeah
00:22:25.560like um there was like people cc'd on all this stuff so and other people involved in all this
00:22:31.220stuff so you know we had the contact lists in in his phone book which was also on the laptop it was
00:22:36.760all part of that iCloud or the hard drive and um we just called them and said hey it's New York
00:22:42.220Post I'm gonna read you something can you tell me if it sounds familiar and that's it I mean and
00:22:48.300And then you had, like you saw, you know, 24 hours after we published, Tony Bobulinski pops up.
00:22:52.820It's one of those people who's involved.
00:22:54.800Like, there are other people involved.
00:22:55.940It wasn't Hunter, you know, scurrying around the world himself.
00:22:59.680There was business partners, and some of those partners had either been burned, some of them had gone to jail, some of them had realized that this is too much.
00:31:05.360But you need to talk about your reaction after and how you couldn't come out to Francis Tavern yesterday where George Washington gave his farewell address to the troops because you were in a fetal position.0.99
