Great show. Really, I mean, you know, we get into the mask mandates.
00:00:11.660
And good for the kids, too. We get into that a little bit.
00:00:14.780
Also, what the federal government did on Friday with the banks and how it affects you.
00:00:22.800
This is information you're not going to get anyplace else and is really critically important.
00:00:30.000
Today, you don't want to miss a second of the podcast.
00:00:44.760
We in America have something called the First Amendment, and it is on the ropes.
00:00:55.160
But I want to show you a glimpse of what happens when you don't have the First Amendment.
00:01:01.280
Canada is we've always looked at Canada as like a little mini America, and it is really, truly becoming that.
00:01:09.900
We are becoming much more like Canada, and we are not standing for the Bill of Rights.
00:01:18.380
Ezra Levant is with us. He is the founder of Rebel News and the host of the Ezra Levant Show.
00:01:22.840
He brought a big Canadian story to my attention, and I want him to tell you the story.
00:01:33.500
I have to tell you, I have some bad news since we last communicated.
00:01:38.380
Yesterday, another Christian pastor was arrested in the province of Manitoba.
00:01:43.320
Another Christian pastor was jailed in the province of New Brunswick.
00:01:48.800
We're almost at 10 Christian pastors who have been jailed.
00:01:56.580
They simply opened their churches during the lockdown.
00:02:03.180
We're coming up on 10 pastors who have been imprisoned.
00:02:07.080
And the worst case is the other fellow who's about to join us, Pastor Arthur Pawlowski.
00:02:13.020
Not only has he been jailed, but now a court has ordered him that whenever he says something contrary to government policy,
00:02:21.580
whether it's in a church sermon or in the media or on Twitter or Facebook,
00:02:26.900
he must immediately read a government-drafted script rebutting and rebuking and disclaiming himself.
00:02:36.140
He must denounce himself immediately after criticizing the government on lockdowns.
00:02:43.220
It's incredible to believe, but a court has ordered that.
00:02:54.880
Can you just read what you're supposed to say every time you speak?
00:03:01.160
Well, pretty much what he is ordering me to say is that masks do work,
00:03:06.760
that majority of the medical profession agree that social distancing works,
00:03:16.240
You know, the typical two-year right now bombardment left and right that we are receiving straight from
00:03:26.360
As you can tell, I grew up behind the Iron Curtain under the boots of the Soviets.
00:03:30.400
I've seen those show trials on television when I was growing up where an individual would be brought before the justice system,
00:03:42.120
And he was commanded somewhere in the middle of the trial to read the script telling how amazing socialism is,
00:03:53.740
And that's exactly what we're seeing right now in Canada, compelled speech, just like in China, Soviet Russia, North Korea.
00:04:01.800
I mean, it's unbelievable what is happening to him, free and democratic society.
00:04:14.380
You have also been sentenced to, I think, 21 days in prison and told you could not travel until 2023.
00:04:27.680
You see, I spent four months in your beautiful country, touring around and talking at different conferences,
00:04:33.660
different political parties, rallies, and churches.
00:04:37.580
And the judge was observing, the government here was observing what I was doing.
00:04:42.220
And because of this amazing response that I received all over the country, I would speak to 10,000, 15,000 people,
00:04:51.200
the judge and the government is so terrified of the popularity that I have gained that he is banning me.
00:04:58.440
I'm a prisoner, political prisoner, in the province of Alberta for 18 months.
00:05:04.340
He is not allowing me to leave my province for a year and a half.
00:05:17.720
You might find what Pastor Arthur says hard to believe.
00:05:25.960
And I want to let you know that we've put the 12-page court ruling on a website, firethejudge.com.
00:05:36.400
The judge is outraged by two things, by three things that Pastor Arthur did.
00:05:41.180
He's outraged that he's opened the church, okay?
00:05:43.940
But he specifically rages that Pastor Arthur warned other churches in America he's been tracking Pastor Arthur.
00:05:53.060
He saw that Pastor Arthur met with a governor and had a selfie.
00:05:57.080
He specifically rages against that in the ruling.
00:06:03.980
I'll ban him from leaving the jurisdiction for 18 months.
00:06:10.640
And then he says, well, Pastor Arthur went on Fox News and spoke to millions of Americans.
00:06:20.100
If I have him forced to stay in the jurisdiction, he can still do media interviews.
00:06:28.720
I will require him to self-denounce after every public utterance.
00:06:33.900
And if he does not do these two things, back to jail he goes.
00:06:41.380
But the judge actually wrote out, handwrote this script that Pastor Arthur must say.
00:06:48.020
You can find the 12-page ruling at firethejudge.com.
00:06:57.800
Where's the media who should support freedom of speech, should support the right to disagree?
00:07:16.220
Pastor, are you going to get in trouble for being on this program?
00:07:20.260
Well, you see, the reality of my life right now is just like behind the Iron Curtain.
00:07:26.840
Right now, actually, I am living behind the Iron Curtain in Canada.
00:07:37.680
And I can be arrested, handcuffed, thrown in prison as we speak right now.
00:07:41.960
Because since the ruling last Wednesday, I am obliged, commanded by the state and the corrupted judge to recite a party line.
00:07:52.860
And, of course, I'm not part of the Communist Party of Canada.
00:08:05.100
And, by the way, they have CNN reporters for that and CBC reporters for that.
00:08:14.760
I can be arrested at any moment right now since last Wednesday when he pronounced that ruling.
00:08:20.940
You know, Stolz Nietzsche, who I know you're aware of, wrote, I think it was Live Not By Lies, something like that.
00:08:31.680
And he said that's the one thing that all Soviet citizens can do to push back is to not repeat the lies, not to sit for them, not to if you're hearing them, you get up and walk out.
00:08:46.780
You're not to sit in your church, you're not to sit in your office when they say, hey, you have to do this, you have to do that, you have to say white people are racist.
00:09:00.260
Whatever it is that you do not believe is true, you must get up, walk out, be polite, and just say, I'm not standing for this because these things are lies.
00:09:11.580
And the most important thing is what you just said.
00:09:16.100
I'm not going to say what they want me to say because it's not true.
00:09:24.520
Here's a beautiful quote that really touched my heart in the past week from George R.R. Martin.
00:09:30.800
When you tear out a man's tongue, you are not proving him a liar.
00:09:34.880
You're only telling the word that you fear what he might say.
00:09:39.080
This case, this sham of a court ruling, and it is just a show trial trying to force free Canadians to bow, to take a knee before a totalitarian medical tyranny.
00:09:55.980
And I just simply, as a pastor, as a Christian, refuse to do it.
00:10:00.300
They can lock me up, but my imprisonment, my political imprisonment, will yell even louder from the jail cell until, hopefully, Canadians will wake up.
00:10:13.000
And I hope that great American eagle will rise up again, start flapping its wings, and come to the rescue.
00:10:20.540
You came to rescue Europe during the first and the second war.
00:10:30.460
I think we'd be better off putting our eggs in the God basket than the America basket, because I don't see America doing much.
00:10:46.980
I mean, that's a huge, powerful pressure on those crooks.
00:10:54.040
There is also a complaint that you can launch against this judge that will go to the commission.
00:11:01.920
So you can go over there if you want to directly help us.
00:11:07.140
But, you know, what I do, I feed thousands of people on the streets of Calgary.
00:11:10.800
People can go to www.streetchurch.ca, and they can support us to do what we want to do.
00:11:17.400
We just want to be left alone and feed the poor, clothe the sick, you know, heal the sick, and clothe the naked.
00:11:24.720
And we have a halfway housing as well for the homeless people.
00:11:30.620
I'm not a politician, according, you know, to their standards.
00:11:36.620
I want to do what God is telling me to do, to preach the gospel, feed the poor, and be left alone from a totalitarian regime.
00:11:44.460
But it looks like they don't want to give me that courtesy.
00:11:49.460
If people want to be part of that, they can go to our website, www.streetchurch.ca.
00:12:01.380
Ezra, thank you for bringing this to our attention.
00:12:10.180
I believe you've shown more interest in this case from a civil liberties point of view, unfortunately, than any Canadian journalist has.
00:12:18.920
Is there anyone in Canada that is looking like they're waking up to this?
00:12:34.780
Every government and opposition, every corporate media, every law professor, every judge, every college of physicians and surgeons, they're unanimous on the other side.
00:12:50.060
Why do they need Pastor Arthur to say what every other voice is saying?
00:12:55.160
Does this judge really think that we haven't heard the dominant narrative on the lockdown?
00:13:03.440
It's not that people haven't heard the message and they need to hear it from Pastor Arthur.
00:13:08.680
It's all about making Pastor Arthur bend the knee and bow down to the new priesthood, the new superstition.
00:13:20.740
And it's not about, it is about breaking his spirit and making him put the government atop everything else.
00:13:29.100
That's why they're demanding he renounce himself.
00:13:42.420
I'm at firethejudge.com now and they have the actual full document.
00:13:46.120
And so he has three days in prison, which was fully satisfied.
00:13:54.220
He is going to be placed on 18 months probation.
00:13:59.160
He must remain in the province of Alberta during this period of probation unless he obtains the consent of his probation officer.
00:14:05.720
And then what he talked about, I mean, it's right here in black and white.
00:14:08.620
The final term of his probation order will be that he is exercising his right of free speech against health orders.
00:14:13.720
He must indicate his communications in the following.
00:14:16.980
I am also aware that the views I am expressing to you on this occasion may not be the views held by the majority of medical experts in Alberta.
00:14:23.040
While I may disagree with them, I am obliged to inform you that the majority of medical experts favor social distancing, mask wearing, and avoiding large crowds to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
00:14:32.960
Most medical experts also support participation in a vaccination program unless for a valid religious or medical reason you cannot be vaccinated.
00:14:40.680
Vaccinations have been shown statistically to save lives to reduce the severity of COVID-19 symptoms.
00:14:46.820
I mean, they literally wrote a script for this guy to have to read every time he speaks publicly.
00:15:11.000
Something that will make me look skinny because I just want treats all the time.
00:15:20.020
You actually have to do the work, blah, blah, blah.
00:15:24.140
It satisfies my sweet tooth, but it's a protein bar, but not like, you know, that's like eating stuff at the bottom of my chalkboard usually.
00:15:36.500
If I'm eating a protein bar as a treat, come on, you've got to know it's good.
00:15:42.740
The new flavors that are coming out all the time, they're fantastic.
00:15:46.180
Go to BiltBar.com and use the promo code BEC15 for 15% off your order.
00:15:52.720
Your mouth is going to water just looking at them.
00:16:06.740
I told you 10 years ago, chaos would be the operative word when you stopped recognizing your country.
00:16:21.000
You would see it fall into chaos, and there would be agents of chaos, people that would do anything they could to create more chaos.
00:16:38.940
And it seems as though the government of the United States and some state governors and state agencies are adding to the chaos.
00:16:51.580
When you say we're going to defund the police, you're adding to the chaos.
00:16:57.960
It doesn't do anyone, especially at the lowest rungs of the ladder, any good to defund the police.
00:17:11.800
How many cops are being lost now because of this?
00:17:15.840
We have in Chicago, the mayor of Chicago says that the police union just opposing the city's vaccine mandate is trying to induce an insurrection.
00:17:32.380
Well, Robert LeMay has been on the police force.
00:17:39.240
He's actually been a Washington State Patrolman for 22 years.
00:17:53.240
Washington State Patrol Commercial Vehicle Division Trooper of the Year in 2007, 2008, 2009.
00:18:02.380
He is a remarkable guy now leaving because of the mandate.
00:18:10.960
And here's what his sign off sounded like at the end of his final shift on Sunday.
00:18:17.860
This is my final sign off after 22 years of serving the citizens of the state of Washington.
00:18:25.880
Numerous fatalities, injuries, I've worked sick, I've played sick, we've buried lots of friends over these years.
00:18:37.780
I'd like to thank the citizens of Yakima County as well as my fellow officers within the valley.
00:18:44.900
Without you guys, I wouldn't have been very successful.
00:18:46.620
And you've kept me safe and got me home to my family every night.
00:18:57.520
So State 1034, this is the last time you'll hear me in a state patrol car.
00:19:03.820
Robert LeMay, the former Washington State Trooper that you just heard sign off, joins us now.
00:19:16.800
I remember you talking about that 10 years ago, and I'll be dang, it's happening.
00:19:26.100
So, Robert, thank you for listening for all these years.
00:19:30.000
And thank you for what you've done as a Washington State Trooper.
00:19:49.340
Why did you decide to leave instead of taking the vaccine?
00:19:55.040
Well, when this all started, and I apologize, I'm actually in a Santa can right now on a construction site.
00:20:00.600
This construction site believes in what's going on so much.
00:20:05.820
And I found the state's as quiet as a place I could do it.
00:20:10.720
What is it with people doing interviews in the bathroom?
00:20:16.100
Laura Logan just did a TV interview from a bathroom in an airplane with me last week.
00:20:45.960
And the weird side effects from we knew some people that actually lost full-term babies, co-workers that actually would collapse.
00:20:54.440
I've got one detective friend of mine who's actually on a heart monitor now.
00:21:07.120
So I do a lot with neurological things, pharmacology, so on and so forth.
00:21:12.560
I'm like, you know, this makes no sense either, reaching out to professionals that I knew that were telling me the same thing.
00:21:18.400
So I'm like, you know, this isn't going to happen.
00:21:31.680
And my group of people that I work with, I'm old enough to be their dad.
00:21:35.480
You know, like I said, I remember 8-track players, and they have no idea what that is.
00:21:44.080
They said, hey, look, we're going to take religious exemptions.
00:21:46.900
So myself and numerous other employees throughout the state, DOT, everybody, we put in these things.
00:21:55.480
And they said, well, we recognize your religious exemption.
00:21:58.660
The problem is, is that we don't have any jobs for you.
00:22:02.560
Furthermore, they threw on top of this, oh, since the separation is not because you really can't do your job,
00:22:09.360
and you just can't do it under these terms, we're not going to give you any unemployment.
00:22:14.640
So basically, my last day, I walked out with my boots.
00:22:19.200
We have, you know, holiday credits and things we can comp out.
00:22:23.700
They're saying it's probably a minimum of 90 days before you get that back.
00:22:27.820
Just for prior to going on this construction site here, I was watching other videos of my coworkers quitting, retiring, leaving.
00:22:36.820
We've been nothing but lied to from the state of Washington, from Governor James Lee's office, as well as our command staff, John Batiste.
00:22:48.960
So it started off with about 300, excuse me, at least troopers, and then it kind of dwindled down to, I think, the final numbers yesterday was 74.
00:22:59.340
So our chief actually sent out a big document saying, basically, you know, I want to say success, but the way it came out is we were successful.
00:23:06.300
Those of you who stayed, thank you, and they feel like we're replaceable.
00:23:11.780
Luckily, I've got enough friends out there that I've been very supportive.
00:23:15.120
Like I said, you've probably seen it's, what, 1.5 million likes or something like that.
00:23:19.360
I've been talking to people throughout the world.
00:23:21.440
I mean, England was calling me yesterday, which is pretty cool.
00:23:27.440
Somebody's taking my spot so I can actually do this interview.
00:23:30.480
The owner of this company is Puget Sound Executive Services, Bob Rondo, and I've known him for years.
00:23:36.660
I'll get you somewhere until you can get your feet down.
00:23:45.840
It's a tough road, but there's a lot of people that have it worse than me.
00:23:53.540
You know, I said earlier we need a parallel economy.
00:23:57.740
We need to begin to gather in areas where we're like-minded.
00:24:09.960
Well, we need to start doing this, too, and start picking places to live and hiring people like you.
00:24:17.300
If anyone is hiring, you know, for cops, and I would say here in Texas is a good place.
00:24:38.460
So I grew up in Keller, Texas, not too far from y'all.
00:24:46.400
I mean, I've had job offers from across the country, across the state.
00:24:51.060
It's an interesting thing because we started as I got home when this went through, and I was just pissed.
00:24:55.740
We were like, I went to visit my dad and my parents in Fort Worth, Texas.
00:25:01.540
I'm one of the peer support people for Washington State Patrol, where I was.
00:25:05.860
But I do a lot with mental health as well for first responders.
00:25:11.060
So my wife is like, okay, we're going to sell everything.
00:25:22.680
Everybody's like, you need to go back down to Texas.
00:25:31.820
And there really hasn't been one state that's actually jumped up and said,
00:25:35.900
I think this is, and I'll be honest with you, this has evolved into us meeting now.
00:25:41.160
I mean, if we were just up and pull it and leave, none of this would happen.
00:25:44.920
So I think this is what Lord wants me to do right now,
00:25:47.480
to kind of prosper, be that voice for those folks that don't have a voice.
00:26:04.500
I mean, like I said, I'm not an interview guy, but I spent from 2 o'clock yesterday morning
00:26:09.760
to late last night just doing phone interviews and a few amusebacks and just all these different
00:26:16.220
And I'd like to get a shout out there to Jason Rantz and his show.
00:26:20.200
It's a phenomenal man, and his team is just phenomenal.
00:26:24.500
Well, I know the Keller Police Department, I don't know about their job openings, but I
00:26:31.540
And if you happen to be listening in Keller, Texas, Robert LeMay, decorated former Washington
00:26:40.440
state trooper, seems like exactly the kind of guy that you would want to hire.
00:26:45.460
I don't know if you have job openings, but Keller, Texas or any place that is willing to take
00:27:10.580
You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck program.
00:27:31.680
So tell me the story about start at the beginning.
00:27:36.420
So the day before school started, we got a note from the Dallas superintendent of the
00:27:41.900
diocese that said basically mask would be required.
00:27:44.720
And we were shocked because going into the school year, they said that mask would not be
00:27:49.100
So what we did is we started emailing people and said, you know, hey, can you just tell
00:28:02.020
So I started a change.org petition and it started going out.
00:28:08.840
So I want to give the read this because I think it's perfectly reasonable.
00:28:13.200
Today, the Diocese of Dallas announced a policy that requires all students and visitors to all
00:28:20.760
I feel this contradicts science, Governor Abbott, executive order and also parents choice.
00:28:27.760
I want to first acknowledge vaccines are important and they are the best defense against COVID-19.
00:28:33.620
There's also not there's nothing stopping students or visitors from wearing a mask.
00:28:37.900
Just last week, President Biden's COVID-19 former advisor and top epidemiologist Michael
00:28:43.260
Osterholm said, quote, we know today that many of the face cloth coverings that people wear
00:28:49.480
are not very effective in reducing any of the virus movement in or out.
00:28:54.700
Studies have shown the viral load in the Delta variant is much higher than the original COVID-19
00:29:03.680
In addition, we know that students are not very good at wearing masks, which reduces their
00:29:10.720
There are examples all over the world that mask mandates just do not work.
00:29:15.340
Most teachers will tell you that masks are distracting for the children and become a
00:29:21.320
I'm asking you to allow parents to make decisions for their families and follow science.
00:29:29.200
So I sent about two or three different emails and we got no response.
00:29:33.440
And then finally, I think on the fourth email, the superintendent, Dr.
00:29:37.080
Vericke basically said, well, it's clear we're going to disagree.
00:29:40.620
And that was basically the end of the discussion.
00:29:42.620
And so I joined up with other parents from across the diocese and we started a website
00:29:52.800
And we basically then said, you know, we're not going to convince them that masks are ineffective
00:29:58.580
So what we said was, you know what, why don't we come up with a policy that is fair, common
00:30:02.960
sense and middle ground that most people can try to get behind on either side of the debate.
00:30:08.620
And so I actually reached out to people that were pro mask and they actually thought it
00:30:13.140
And so the policy that we basically came up with was said, if the hospitalization rate
00:30:18.100
for our trauma service area, which is the DFW area fell below 15% of COVID patients in
00:30:24.160
the hospital for seven straight days, then mask could come off.
00:30:27.180
But if it was over 15% for seven days, mask were on.
00:30:30.960
So the analogy is like, well, if it's going to rain, you got to wear your raincoat.
00:30:36.800
And it said, if this is the policy, then like, or just have a policy.
00:30:40.780
We didn't even care ultimately what the policy was.
00:30:44.960
So we, so we sent the policy and it was not even looked at or anything.
00:30:50.400
And so there was a couple of protests that were scheduled.
00:30:55.020
And so we had the protest and at one of the protests, somebody had a sign that said, stop
00:31:05.080
So I was called in with two other dads who were seen as the face of the opposition.
00:31:09.360
And we were basically threatened that if we continued to try to advocate and communicate
00:31:13.740
with the diocese and the Bishop, that we would be removed.
00:31:20.000
If you tried to continue to reach out to the Bishop.
00:31:30.800
And my wife was actually the school nurse where my kids go to school.
00:31:38.640
She's a Eucharistic minister at the school and the church.
00:31:46.580
The other thing that we've tried to do is we've tried to not make this about the vaccine.
00:31:49.560
We've tried to isolate people who are not part of the group that are, you know, kind
00:31:53.940
of really fringe and, you know, want to go crazy.
00:31:56.080
We're trying to stay, you know, in the middle and just ask for a policy.
00:31:59.540
And then, so when they, you know, threatened to kick us out, I was, I mean, we were horrified.
00:32:05.520
And I just said, you know, it sounds like, you know, we're being intimidated by the church.
00:32:09.680
I said, I'm just curious, like, is this what Jesus would do, you know?
00:32:13.780
And, you know, and the, the priest that we met with said, no, you know, and I just said,
00:32:18.740
you know, why are we, why are we being intimidated and, you know, asked to be kicked out?
00:32:30.740
And I said, you do understand the irony that I'm guilty by association for a sign that
00:32:36.240
says, stop the child abuse with the Catholic church, right?
00:32:40.960
And, uh, well, they said, well, well, and I said, look, I don't, I don't judge the bishop
00:32:44.520
and the superintendent for, you know, I only judge them for their actions, right?
00:32:49.160
And I said, I hope you would judge me for mine.
00:32:50.840
And I said, this whole time I've tried to compromise and find middle ground because I
00:32:54.320
said, the moment you say mass become optional, you're going to get just as much heat from the
00:32:59.480
So I'm trying to give you guys a policy that everybody can live with.
00:33:03.820
So then that way, you know, it's fair to everybody and everybody knows what the expectations are.
00:33:08.120
My thoughts are people can take bad news as long as you give it to them and you give it
00:33:13.160
I don't have a problem with, with Facebook having their own rules to Twitter, having their
00:33:17.900
What I have a problem is they don't apply equally to everyone.
00:33:23.180
And if you just have a policy, then you know what to expect.
00:33:26.880
And as long as it's applied equally and fairly, then nobody has a problem.
00:33:35.340
You know, and so that's, that's all we've asked for is, is a policy since the beginning.
00:33:43.960
And so we left and I just said, you know, I, I like to understand what we've done wrong.
00:33:48.920
I said, cause all we've done is advocate for our child.
00:33:52.140
I've sent, you know, five or six emails that have been respectful and polite.
00:33:55.960
And I said, tell me the area of the handbook that I violated.
00:34:00.220
And so, you know, the next day I, they followed up with a thank you.
00:34:07.660
And then two days later they called us back in and they said, you know, look, we talked
00:34:11.100
to the superintendent and what we're trying to get to is a, as a high vaccination rate
00:34:25.180
So I think what they want to do is stretch it out till we're, um, the vaccine is basically
00:34:29.920
available for kids and then they'll go mask optional.
00:34:33.000
What science are they following to get to kid vaccines?
00:34:39.940
So, so what is the, what, what, what, what is their real intent or what, what is the desire
00:34:46.500
Is that, are they really, they really believe that the kids should have vaccines or is there
00:34:55.440
I mean, we, we think that they're ultimately trying to get to where kids have to be vaccinated.
00:34:59.660
I mean, we think that there's a pretty close relationship between, you know, the Dallas
00:35:03.380
diocese and, you know, the local County judge here in Dallas.
00:35:14.660
So, you know, in, uh, in Texas, we have judges.
00:35:19.400
They are like the County executive everywhere else.
00:35:23.020
Um, and this guy in Dallas County, he is, uh, he's a hard ass.
00:35:30.300
And what's crazy too, is had they followed our policy mask would now be optional.
00:35:34.680
I mean, if you look at the, the rates of COVID patients in the hospital, we're down to
00:35:38.740
I mean, during the Delta spike, it was up to like 22, 23%, but now we're down to nine.
00:35:44.100
The thing that's crazy too, is that the Fort Worth diocese was mask optional the entire
00:35:49.460
Houston has already gone back to being mask optional.
00:35:52.500
Dallas is one of the only diocese in the state that is still requiring mask for elementary
00:35:59.780
And I thought that was against, uh, the governor's edict.
00:36:03.920
But because it's a private institution, you know, and so that's our whole thing, right?
00:36:07.620
Is that look, at the end of the day, you're, you're a private institution.
00:36:10.700
You get to do what you want, but don't leave us in limbo.
00:36:14.440
And then I can decide for my family if I want to stay or if I want to go.
00:36:18.880
The thing that's crazy is I get emails from parents that their kids are choosing not to
00:36:23.860
wear their glasses because their glasses fog up during class.
00:36:27.240
I don't, whenever I have to wear a mask someplace, I don't ever wear my glasses because I can't
00:36:36.500
You're choosing not to be able to see what you're being taught because you're wearing
00:36:42.140
I mean, for a kid to have to make that choice, I mean, we're seeing personalities change with
00:36:51.840
So we're continuing to try to put, you know, pressure and try to have a conversation with
00:36:59.560
I think the local churches are supportive, right?
00:37:01.680
They, I think that they're stuck in an uncompromising situation, right?
00:37:06.920
And, you know, we know that they were put in a pretty vulnerable situation by the diocese
00:37:13.640
So, you know, all we're asking for is a policy so we can then decide if we want to keep our
00:37:18.940
The thing that's crazy too, is there's parents that have have medical exemptions because their
00:37:23.760
kids either have asthma, they've had PTSD, some kind of trauma, and they're not acknowledging
00:37:31.220
Basically what they've said is, Hey, if we're not meeting your needs, just go somewhere else.
00:37:36.300
And I'm like the Catholic diocese and the schools are a ministry to try to bring more
00:37:42.640
And, but you know, when you're just basically telling people like, Hey, if you don't like
00:37:47.440
I mean, it's just, I just didn't think it was very, you know, Christian of them to do that.
00:37:56.000
I don't know how this one ends, but we'll be watching.
00:37:59.340
Is there anything that people can do to help you?
00:38:06.540
You know, we're looking for, you know, donations and try to continue to just get the words out
00:38:10.700
You know, we would ask people to continue to write the Bishop and the superintendent.
00:38:14.280
You know, the big thing is be respectful, be polite.
00:38:17.100
You know, at the end of the day, whatever ends up happening, they're still going to be our
00:38:20.780
Bishop and they're still our superintendent and we want to work with them.
00:38:23.480
We don't want this to be confrontational, right?
00:38:25.460
We want to just find common sense, middle ground approach that, you know, is fair that
00:38:31.400
Parents of DDS.com, which I mean, I don't know why you're involving the dentists in this,
