00:00:00.680 So, like, this next one, 100% is going to be over a trillion dollars.

00:00:05.980 Trillion!

00:00:07.120 Trillion dollars, Scott!

00:00:08.880 Trillion dollars!

00:00:09.960 One trillion!

00:00:11.060 A trillion dollars!

00:00:13.180 But that's it.

00:00:14.620 That's it.

00:00:15.140 That's not it!

00:00:16.300 It is it.

00:00:17.180 It's going to spend way more than that.

00:00:17.900 Okay, you're saying a guy who's had severe depression enough to be hospitalized because

00:00:23.700 he realized when he got the job, he can't really function or understand anyone.

00:00:30.000 You're saying him being in charge, the head of the committee producing the farm bill.

00:00:37.100 A trillion dollar bill!

00:00:38.620 A measly trillion dollars.

00:00:41.240 You're saying he's not the guy to get it done right?

00:00:45.000 You are correctly identifying what I'm saying.

00:00:48.360 Yes, that is not what should happen.

00:00:50.560 I think more discussion is needed on that.

00:00:53.760 And we do discuss the return of Fetterman on the podcast today.

00:01:00.660 A lot of great stuff.

00:01:01.780 You don't want to miss it.

00:01:02.520 We have Matt Walsh.

00:01:03.340 We have Glenn Greenwald talking about the media, the transgender shooting, and the lack of any 1.00

00:01:12.700 manifesto, and the fact that he couldn't get an attorney to represent him, to go in and demand

00:01:18.860 the manifesto.

00:01:20.540 You know, political arm twisting there at all?

00:01:24.160 No.

00:01:25.220 No, not at all.

00:01:26.740 This and so much more on today's podcast brought to you by American Giant.

00:01:31.620 There's an American Giant in all of us.

00:01:35.420 An American Giant that is dying to be unleashed.

00:01:40.200 The American Giant that wants to work hard.

00:01:43.340 That wants to do things by hand.

00:01:46.400 That believes in our nation and knows that we can make our own medicine.

00:01:52.340 We can make our own clothing in this case.

00:01:55.860 2012 clothing factory in North Carolina shutting down.

00:01:59.560 Everybody's going to lose their jobs.

00:02:00.740 It's going to change the whole town.

00:02:02.480 American Giant came in and said, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.

00:02:05.980 How about if we buy new equipment and retrain everybody?

00:02:10.860 Ten years later, they make the best hoodie you'll ever have.

00:02:14.900 And I mean, they make it like it used to be in the 1960s.

00:02:17.860 Those were completely different than anything else you ever had.

00:02:22.360 They got rid of all of those machines.

00:02:24.020 They sent them over to Japan. 0.95

00:02:25.860 We lost the skill until American Giant stepped in. 0.99

00:02:28.800 You're looking for great American clothing.

00:02:31.580 One hundred percent American.

00:02:34.660 American-giant.com.

00:02:36.520 That's American-giant.com slash Glenn.

00:02:41.760 Go there now.

00:02:42.480 There's so much going on today, especially with cancel culture, that I think it's important

00:03:04.200 that we kind of have a reset and we talk about what we believe and how we're handling ourselves.

00:03:15.860 Coming up later today, Michael Knowles is going to be with us.

00:03:20.620 But there is an attack on Matt Walsh, Michael Knowles, the Daily Wire, things I haven't seen, well, ever, I don't think, the violence.

00:03:38.400 I believe somebody's going to get killed if, pray for everybody at the Daily Wire and everybody who does this job, because the left has ratcheted up a notch.

00:03:51.580 They, yesterday, hacked into Matt Walsh's email.

00:03:57.080 They took 20 years of his email and they're just going to start releasing it.

00:04:02.380 By the way, 20 years ago, he was 16.

00:04:06.140 So I'm guessing there's going to be some crazy things in his email.

00:04:10.100 And who hasn't changed in 20 years?

00:04:16.180 They are threatening.

00:04:19.540 The security that has to be around all of us that do these jobs now is becoming incomprehensible.

00:04:30.180 Most people who do this job do not make the kind of money that can afford security.

00:04:37.300 So they either live in fear and in risk of being killed or they shut their mouths.

00:04:48.180 Well, luckily, there's enough people like you and me that won't shut our mouths. 0.92

00:04:58.380 The left is, the left is so infuriating.

00:05:02.980 Let's start with the Bud Light debacle.

00:05:05.080 If they understood, if they just try to understand what we're saying, they would understand a couple of things.

00:05:16.060 We're not, we're not after anybody.

00:05:18.620 We're not threatening anybody.

00:05:21.500 But we've had enough.

00:05:24.180 Tolerance and acceptance is really no longer possible because we are so far apart from each other.

00:05:32.400 We have nothing in common.

00:05:36.220 See, what brought us together, our e pluribus unum, was an idea.

00:05:42.760 And that idea is all based on the Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights.

00:05:49.800 Okay?

00:05:50.220 That's it.

00:05:51.380 We always disagreed with each other.

00:05:54.260 We celebrated the differences.

00:05:57.200 Diversity was something that we got back in the 60s.

00:06:03.120 We got it.

00:06:03.880 We were making great progress on physical diversity.

00:06:07.960 Great progress.

00:06:09.380 That's gone.

00:06:12.260 Now, you're trying to limit the key to the individual.

00:06:18.440 And that is intellectual and spiritual diversity.

00:06:26.520 It's either your way or the highway.

00:06:30.320 And I don't mean the highway like, beat it, kid.

00:06:32.820 I mean, they're going to put you in the center of the highway and they're going to run over you with a truck.

00:06:37.400 Look at the violent obsession with Donald Trump.

00:06:44.920 Really, all they had to do was either ignore him or the scariest thing would have been to side with him, bring him in.

00:06:52.280 Oh, Donald, you're the greatest.

00:06:55.820 He wouldn't have been that big of a problem.

00:06:58.940 But they went after him with everything. 0.99

00:07:04.600 They're sick. 1.00

00:07:05.540 They're really sick people. 1.00

00:07:07.520 It is time we start defining many people on the left as mentally ill. 1.00

00:07:17.620 That's what's so annoying is we're blamed for their sickness. 0.98

00:07:21.520 No, I have nothing to do with your sickness.

00:07:23.360 I have nothing to do with your sickness.

00:07:25.320 The attack on Matt Walsh.

00:07:27.840 Matt's account was hacked last night.

00:07:30.260 Ben Shapiro pointed out after the past few months,

00:07:32.720 my friend Matt Walsh has been threatened to the extent that he's had to have full-time security at his home to protect his family.

00:07:41.060 Now he's been hacked.

00:07:42.340 The tolerant and diverse and kind crowd are celebrating, of course.

00:07:47.340 I've said this for a very long time.

00:07:52.220 They self-diagnose.

00:07:54.720 Whatever they accuse you of doing, they are doing.

00:07:59.840 Okay?

00:08:00.380 They accuse us of every crime they ever commit.

00:08:04.460 And that is a consistent trait of theirs.

00:08:07.820 Their moral relativism is so frustrating to deal with.

00:08:11.360 And that's where we really kind of separate.

00:08:18.020 There seems to be moral relativism and also a complete disregard for the facts of history and individual cases.

00:08:28.720 The left's response from Bud Light, why would you, if you were just a regular beer drinker, and you weren't loyal to Bud because it's just another light beer,

00:08:44.560 and you were a blue-collar, red-state kind of person, why would you go by Budweiser when they've just slapped you across the face?

00:08:56.480 And quite honestly, slapped your wife across the face. 0.98

00:09:00.840 That's not a woman. 1.00

00:09:02.480 Sorry.

00:09:03.320 He's not a woman. 1.00

00:09:04.820 And if you decide to define women and hold that woman up and say, that's the epitome of a woman. 0.99

00:09:13.100 She should have her face on a can of beer. 1.00

00:09:16.140 Then I'm going to find another beer.

00:09:19.560 What is wrong with that?

00:09:20.820 That's not cancel culture.

00:09:22.180 That's an individual choice.

00:09:24.180 Stu said it perfectly on Monday.

00:09:29.660 The New York Times article, they achieved a gaslighting that I didn't even think was possible.

00:09:36.320 And in the next breath, they claim that transgender activists don't exist.

00:09:42.060 They claim that transgender activists are under attack. 0.78

00:09:45.900 Wait a minute.

00:09:46.320 Which is it?

00:09:46.820 They don't exist or they're under attack?

00:09:48.640 Other times, they admit that they do exist, but they only blame us for their existence.

00:09:56.120 Okay.

00:09:56.760 I've just had enough.

00:09:59.260 I don't think I'm much different than the average person.

00:10:02.840 I didn't get into this job to be this guy, to be a political activist.

00:10:06.940 I'd like to have my life.

00:10:09.520 Okay.

00:10:09.720 I'd like to do the things I want to do.

00:10:12.260 I'd like to have the opportunities to do the things that I know I can do.

00:10:18.040 And I know others would join me.

00:10:21.160 For instance, Paramount Pictures.

00:10:23.960 I had a deal with them.

00:10:26.480 Van Jones and Color of Change.

00:10:28.640 Got that canceled.

00:10:29.720 Well, I didn't think you guys were doing that.

00:10:35.380 I'd just like to live my life.

00:10:37.240 And whether I'm successful or not successful would be up to me.

00:10:42.820 Do I have something of value to say to the society?

00:10:46.420 If all of this stuff didn't happen, I don't know if I would have been a success.

00:10:51.360 I just happened to have this point of view and I'm not going to shut up about it.

00:10:58.160 But I don't want to be an activist.

00:10:59.720 I want nothing to do with it.

00:11:04.720 I mock community organizers.

00:11:09.360 Much to my shame now.

00:11:11.160 We shouldn't have mocked those guys.

00:11:13.360 But I don't want to be a symbol.

00:11:15.220 I don't want to be a martyr.

00:11:16.800 I don't want to be anything of the sort.

00:11:18.760 I don't think anybody on the right does.

00:11:21.560 I just want to live in a world that has verifiable truth.

00:11:27.160 That you are allowed to question the truth.

00:11:31.500 And the mob or the government is not the final arbiter of truth.

00:11:37.520 The facts are.

00:11:39.980 I want to live in a world that has verifiable truth.

00:11:43.960 Has equal justice. 0.99

00:11:46.220 Where it doesn't matter if it's my son who's a drug addict hooking up with hookers and making deals with the Chinese. 0.99

00:11:55.040 If my son were doing that he should go to jail. 0.98

00:12:01.200 But so should the president's son.

00:12:03.720 So truth.

00:12:06.600 Real justice.

00:12:09.100 And dare I say the American way.

00:12:11.920 Which is.

00:12:12.960 Do not be confused.

00:12:14.800 The American way is that we have certain inalienable rights.

00:12:19.420 And among them are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

00:12:22.660 And a few more are outlined in the Bill of Rights.

00:12:25.760 And if they're not mentioned there.

00:12:28.160 That doesn't mean they don't exist.

00:12:32.840 That's all I want.

00:12:35.420 That's all I want.

00:12:37.680 But I'm sorry leftist. 0.67

00:12:41.000 I'm sorry transgender people. 1.00

00:12:44.000 You force me to stand up.

00:12:46.140 Because this can't continue.

00:12:47.960 You try to make, write this play in your own mind that none of this is new.

00:12:57.700 Or even controversial.

00:12:59.720 Like this has been happening the whole time.

00:13:02.080 Suddenly they needed something to complain about.

00:13:04.940 And so the right wing stood up and said,

00:13:07.360 Hey, let's get those transgender people that are reading stories to our kids in the third grade. 0.98

00:13:14.700 Let's attack them. 1.00

00:13:16.120 Like that was normal. 0.99

00:13:19.580 That was not happening.

00:13:21.920 None of this stuff was happening.

00:13:25.120 And they don't seem to ever have to try to make their case.

00:13:28.680 They just do it.

00:13:30.300 And then call you names if you disagree.

00:13:33.340 Let me ask you.

00:13:34.720 This transgender stuff. 1.00

00:13:36.200 Where is the research that shows that this is healthy for children?

00:13:42.740 Where's the research?

00:13:44.140 I'll tell you where the research is.

00:13:45.720 There's nowhere to be found in America.

00:13:47.700 But you can find it in France and England and Sweden and Finland.

00:13:52.480 Because those guys were on the same train.

00:13:55.460 And now research is being done and they're like, get off this train.

00:13:59.560 This is dangerous for our kids.

00:14:04.120 The reality is so simple. 0.98

00:14:05.860 I don't care if you're transgender. 1.00

00:14:09.700 I don't care. 0.94

00:14:11.480 I don't.

00:14:14.320 The left started coming for our kids.

00:14:18.480 There have been trans shows since the beginning of time.

00:14:21.940 Everything that Shakespeare ever wrote was done by men and trans women because women couldn't perform. 1.00

00:14:30.260 There have been drag shows, drag queens, trans shows forever.

00:14:34.460 But nobody was forced to say that that is a woman by science. 1.00

00:14:43.000 No, no, no, no.

00:14:44.720 There's no science that says that.

00:14:46.320 None.

00:14:47.300 None.

00:14:48.780 There have been strip clubs forever.

00:14:51.680 Many Americans go to strip clubs. 0.86

00:14:54.200 I don't.

00:14:55.340 I think there's many more Americans that don't go to strip clubs. 0.98

00:14:58.420 They don't think that it's necessarily moral.

00:15:01.220 But we don't attack strippers. 1.00

00:15:05.780 What's the difference? 0.76

00:15:07.220 I thought we hated all women. 1.00

00:15:09.380 Women strippers. 1.00

00:15:10.740 Well, we should go get them, right? 0.99

00:15:12.440 Because we hate women and we hate people who have different morals than us. 1.00

00:15:16.540 So why isn't there just strippers being clubbed by church members all over the world? 1.00

00:15:22.960 Okay?

00:15:24.340 Because we are tolerant.

00:15:27.120 In fact, too tolerant.

00:15:28.980 You don't threaten strippers or attack strippers.

00:15:34.380 Now, if strippers overnight, all of a sudden, were in almost all of our schools doing pole dances in third grade,

00:15:45.460 I think we might have a problem with that.

00:15:48.520 The people who have been silent on strip clubs might start to talk about strippers and strip clubs.

00:15:55.140 And they would wonder, how is this good for the children?

00:16:02.360 And if those strippers said, oh, stop it. 1.00

00:16:05.040 You just hate strippers. 1.00

00:16:06.680 No, we would say, this isn't good for our children.

00:16:10.620 We'd question why all of this all of a sudden.

00:16:15.940 And parents would object.

00:16:17.420 And just like now, some would not dare, I say.

00:16:20.660 Some would say, this is good physical exercise.

00:16:23.920 We should have it in PE for first graders.

00:16:26.360 At least that argument would have some, very flimsy, but some scientific evidence.

00:16:39.520 Drag shows for kids have no benefit for the kids or society. 0.96

00:16:43.760 They deny this.

00:16:46.040 This is the best of the Glenn Beck Program.

00:16:52.500 So let's talk about the Teixeira case, which Glenn, it just, there's something wrong with this case.

00:17:01.740 And I know you've been following, I've been following your writings in your Twitter feed.

00:17:08.680 I think we agree on a lot of this stuff.

00:17:12.260 Let's start with the actual, you can't even call it hacking, but getting into the system that this 21-year-old kid supposedly did.

00:17:25.500 From every source I have that knows these systems, they say it's impossible for him to get the documents that he had and get away with it for as long as he did.

00:17:40.200 Now, if that's true, and he did just get them, and he's working by himself, then there's a bigger issue here.

00:17:50.960 What's broken?

00:17:52.580 And nobody seems to be talking about that.

00:17:56.200 So let's take that one issue.

00:17:58.520 Did he do this alone?

00:18:01.660 Did he actually, was he the guy all by himself?

00:18:05.040 So I'll tell you what I know, and I agree totally.

00:18:07.360 There's a very strange case for so many reasons, and I think skepticism is warranted for every claim being made about it.

00:18:15.000 When, you know, I think all of us are kind of inculcated to oppose the idea that people can leak top secret documents from the U.S. government on their own against the law,

00:18:27.020 because it seems like an irresponsible thing to do.

00:18:29.360 Theoretically, it could put people in danger if it exposes the names of covert agents and the like.

00:18:35.160 So all of us kind of just immediately when we hear someone leak classified top secret documents and think that doesn't sound like a good thing to do.

00:18:42.160 The problem is twofold.

00:18:43.540 Number one, our government abuses the secrecy powers it has in ways that are impossible to overstate.

00:18:50.140 Almost everything our government does immediately gets stamped classified secret or top secret, which makes it a felony for anyone to disclose what our government is doing.

00:19:01.000 When I worked on the Snowden documents, you know, I spent a year and a half going through hundreds of thousands of top secret documents, and the vast majority of them were worthless.

00:19:09.320 They were banal.

00:19:10.180 Things even like, how do you get a parking credential or ask for vacation days got marked secret and then what was illegal to leak?

00:19:16.740 The other thing is, over a million people have access to the most basic kind of classified material.

00:19:24.900 The same classification that he had, the same authority he had, and nothing more.

00:19:31.400 Millions, right?

00:19:33.760 A million.

00:19:34.540 So how can we even call these documents secret when you're making them available to a million or two million people

00:19:41.720 who work, you know, not just within our government, but with all those corporations that are joined at the hip to the U.S. military state,

00:19:49.240 like Steve Allen Hamilton and all those private contractors, Raytheon, General Dynamics,

00:19:53.420 they all have access to this gigantic database of things that are supposedly so classified.

00:19:58.640 In this case, though, there do seem to be some really sensitive documents that are marked top secret for good reason,

00:20:04.720 including things like showing that Biden has deployed special forces on the ground in Ukraine,

00:20:10.080 despite telling us that he wasn't doing that,

00:20:13.140 that do raise questions of how a 21-year-old in the Massachusetts National Guard

00:20:18.200 could possibly have gained access to these materials

00:20:22.100 and then spent months putting them on the Internet without being detected,

00:20:26.380 given that we all live in a U.S. surveillance state, let alone people who have this kind of a job.

00:20:31.520 It is very mysterious, I agree.

00:20:33.100 Okay, so from what I've been told to dumb it down for me, they said, imagine a house.

00:20:40.740 He has the key to the front door, but everything else is compartmentalized,

00:20:46.760 and you have to have a key to each door inside.

00:20:50.480 Just because you can get into the front house doesn't mean you can get into the safe,

00:20:56.420 doesn't mean you can get into the liquor cabinet or any of the other doors around.

00:21:00.820 He doesn't have any of those codes or classifications to be able to get in to find these documents.

00:21:08.600 And even when you do find them, you kind of find the doors, as I understand it,

00:21:13.360 you'll have a better understanding, you can't just mill around and like,

00:21:18.320 hey, here's a whole stack of documents.

00:21:20.560 You kind of have to know where, what you're looking for.

00:21:25.340 Is that true or not?

00:21:26.420 Yeah, that's a perfect metaphor.

00:21:27.740 Yeah, that's a perfect metaphor.

00:21:29.340 When I say there are, you know, more than a million people with access to classified documents,

00:21:33.860 of course, I do not mean that they have access to every classified document, right?

00:21:37.720 So there's not a million people with access to, say, the nuclear codes.

00:21:41.020 Right.

00:21:41.280 Or specific troop movements that the generals in Ukraine are helping the Ukrainians engineer.

00:21:48.100 Those are compartmentalized and far fewer people have access to those.

00:21:51.440 The higher you go up in the secrecy or sensitivity level.

00:21:54.720 The issue, though, here is I really question how sensitive these documents actually are.

00:22:02.400 Like I said, they don't contain the names of any covert agents.

00:22:06.180 And you have media outlets in the New York Times and the Washington Post,

00:22:09.980 which on the one hand helped expose this kid.

00:22:12.420 They found him.

00:22:13.280 They hunted him down.

00:22:15.040 Hang on.

00:22:16.080 I want to take this piece by piece.

00:22:17.500 We're going to come back to that.

00:22:18.680 So go ahead.

00:22:19.960 Okay.

00:22:20.240 Yeah, and so now he's out of the way, and they are using this stash of documents.

00:22:25.120 The Washington Post has branded them, you know, exclusive, the Discord leaks,

00:22:29.520 and they're going them out every day by doing reporting,

00:22:32.460 which implicitly means there are things in these documents that are journalistically worthwhile,

00:22:38.140 that are in the public interest to know.

00:22:40.640 It's just very odd that they started off being leaked,

00:22:44.760 and now suddenly the media outlets closest to the CIA and the Pentagon,

00:22:49.180 the Washington Post and the New York Times have exclusive control over them

00:22:52.180 and are kind of doling them out in a way that the government seems very comfortable with.

00:22:56.500 It's all about now promoting U.S. narratives as opposed to doing anything

00:23:00.760 that actually exposes incriminating information about the Biden administration.

00:23:04.220 That's what I find out about it.

00:23:05.600 So do you believe this kid acted alone, or there was somebody else involved with better access

00:23:13.560 that was pushing some sort of a narrative that they wanted pushed, somebody wanted pushed, 0.99

00:23:21.160 or is he just a stupid kid that did this and was like, I just want to be popular with my friends? 0.98

00:23:27.800 Yeah, I mean, of course, you know, whatever I say is so much speculative, 0.99

00:23:32.680 since I don't actually know, but my view is you would be surprised at how sloppy the U.S. government is

00:23:39.000 with even pretty sensitive secrets.

00:23:41.180 Remember, Edward Stodan was 29 years old when he walked out with a massive archive

00:23:45.680 from the most sensitive agency, which was the NSA.

00:23:48.180 Chelsea Manning was an army private and managed to send to WikiLeaks

00:23:51.940 gigantic amounts of information, and it seems like what he did was photocopied documents

00:23:58.740 that were laying on a table.

00:24:00.600 I would not at all be surprised if there were other people working with him,

00:24:03.720 because, again, the way these leaks ended up happening seems to boost the U.S. agenda

00:24:08.680 and not undermine anything the Biden administration is doing.

00:24:11.660 But I also wouldn't be surprised if he was able to do this,

00:24:14.380 because the thing our government does with these classified documents is very reckless.

00:24:18.440 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck Program.

00:24:23.420 My good friend, Michael Knowles.

00:24:25.780 How are you, Michael?

00:24:27.120 I'm doing well.

00:24:28.360 I'm doing better than that effigy of me.

00:24:30.480 Yeah.

00:24:31.220 Pleased to report I am not on fire, totally alive.

00:24:34.740 Yeah.

00:24:35.200 Well, I just wanted to reach out to you and everybody at The Daily Wire,

00:24:40.740 let you know that our prayers are with you guys.

00:24:44.040 We've been there, done that.

00:24:45.600 We know what it's like.

00:24:46.540 And anything we can do to help you on any front, Michael, let me know.

00:24:53.460 Well, thank you, Glenn.

00:24:54.240 I really appreciate it, because we're trying to take it in stride.

00:24:57.500 This is just par for the course.

00:25:00.260 But the attacks are increasing, especially what they did to Matt.

00:25:05.480 I mean, getting getting this guy's entire private correspondence going back 20 years.

00:25:12.400 And why, why, Glenn?

00:25:14.240 It's all because of this one issue.

00:25:17.320 It's because we have had the temerity to say that boys can't really be girls,

00:25:22.440 and we shouldn't be pumping little kids full of hormones and cutting off their body parts. 0.74

00:25:27.740 And because of this, the threats have gone absolutely through the roof. 0.94

00:25:32.360 And I think it just exposes how ridiculous one of the classic lines from the left is, 0.85

00:25:38.340 which is what the left always says is, why do you care? 0.96

00:25:41.880 Why do you care so much if we pretend that men can really be women?

00:25:46.400 Why do we care?

00:25:47.800 Well, I don't think we're the ones who seem so fanatical about this and so obsessed.

00:25:52.320 You're the ones hacking into people's cell phones.

00:25:55.120 You're the ones throwing off incendiary devices.

00:25:57.760 Call it what it is. 0.95

00:25:58.260 It's an explosive at a public debate over transgenderism, burning people in effigy.

00:26:03.840 I don't think that we're the ones that started this fight.

00:26:06.560 We're just trying to speak common sense and reason.

00:26:09.480 And if you guys are so afraid of common sense and reason,

00:26:13.340 that tells me this is exactly the fight that we've got to be in.

00:26:16.320 So, Michael, you're in Nashville, which I told you, you guys should have come to Dallas.

00:26:24.020 But you're in Nashville where you had a shooter and now you can't get the manifesto from the Nashville police.

00:26:37.200 I mean, Glenn Greenwald tried to hire two firms.

00:26:39.740 He finally got one.

00:26:40.640 Two firms they said they would represent him to get that released.

00:26:44.720 And they called back like an hour later and like, yeah, we're not going to do that.

00:26:49.220 And it was all because of political pressure.

00:26:51.480 Right.

00:26:52.020 In defense of the Nashville police, I strongly suspect that they're not the ones that are holding this up.

00:26:57.180 I strongly suspect that the middle, the minute that federal government got involved,

00:27:00.680 I think probably the political pressure is coming all the way down from the White House.

00:27:05.160 Well, it's it's time for good men to stand up and good women.

00:27:09.780 The the attacks that are coming on your on you guys, as I walked out of the studio last night, I just I just thought somebody's going to get killed.

00:27:24.360 Somebody's going to die.

00:27:25.500 And it's I mean, we're entering a time of assassinations and we have, thank God, not had any of the stuff that was happening in the 60s.

00:27:36.220 But that happened because of zealots. 0.98

00:27:41.600 And we are seeing people that are so bat crap crazy that I'm afraid they're going to kill somebody. 0.98

00:27:52.220 And this is exactly what the media has been saying is going to happen from the right. 0.99

00:27:57.520 And we're damn close to it here from the left.

00:28:03.360 And the media are encouraging it. We should be very clear about that.

00:28:07.760 This is why the media lied about what I said at CPAC when I said that for the for the good of society,

00:28:13.460 and especially for the good of the people who identify as transgender, we've got to eradicate this ideology because the ideology is false and it's really harming people. 0.59

00:28:22.100 And if the media thought that what I said was so objectionable, they would have just printed what I said.

00:28:27.480 They know that pretty much everybody agrees with that. And so they lied and they said that I called to eradicate people.

00:28:34.380 And I can't think of any explanations to why they would lie other than to to call for violence against us.

00:28:42.000 And they've gotten what they've wanted. I mean, you're seeing these things increase.

00:28:45.880 I always try to take this in stride and with a grain of salt. I think people mouth off on the Internet all the time and they think they're a lot tougher than they really are.

00:28:54.720 But but now we're seeing fruits of this kind of a threat. And specifically on this issue, we're seeing people who are not in control of their reason.

00:29:04.740 We're talking about people who are not the most rational. And so we might think, oh, people will come to their senses.

00:29:10.160 They're mouthing off a little bit, but it's no big deal. Not on this issue.

00:29:14.160 There's no sense. Anyone who's dealt with it can see.

00:29:17.200 Yeah, there's there's no senses to come to on this particular issue.

00:29:23.180 And the media, but also the administration, by having a group of children killed and then the vice president come to Nashville and sit with the family of the killer and not the children.

00:29:40.180 Is is is pretty remarkable. So if I am somebody who is in the transgender extremist movement and I feel like, you know, I can do anything, you know, including kill people. 1.00

00:29:56.060 That just sent the message to me that I'm right. I'm right. 0.92

00:29:59.960 This was a message we just saw today. It came out from the Biden administration that days after the Nashville shooting, where all of the evidence seems to suggest that the transgender ideology played a role here.

00:30:13.400 Obviously, it's transgender identified shooter targeting and killing Christian kids. 0.95

00:30:17.380 Days after that shooting, the Biden administration through the EEOC sent out a message saying that increasingly trans people are at risk. 0.91

00:30:26.280 They just will not give up the line. No evidence, no events can can dissuade them.

00:30:33.500 And so the message is clear from the White House.

00:30:36.400 The message is clear that we are behind this absurd ideology and you can do anything you want to defend it.

00:30:46.280 Michael, what where do you think this goes from here?

00:30:51.220 I was just reading an old monologue from Rush Limbaugh today, and he said.

00:30:56.280 It's we're at the point of a national split. We just we don't have anything in common anymore.

00:31:03.140 There are no root principles that we can be in common in this.

00:31:07.260 You know, this is before he died. Where are we? What's coming?

00:31:11.260 When I was a student, I got to meet Justice Scalia and we asked him about certain basic issues in the country.

00:31:18.080 At the time, I think we were talking about marriage.

00:31:19.800 And we said, can there be a federalist solution here on this issue in the states?

00:31:24.440 Just pick however they want to pick. And he said, well, I love federalism and I love states rights.

00:31:30.120 There are certain issues that seem so fundamental that we we need to come to an agreement nationally.

00:31:36.660 Slavery would be an issue. 0.99

00:31:38.660 Marriage, the fundamental building block of politics would be one of those issues. 0.90

00:31:42.080 And I think even more fundamental than that, of course, would be what a man is and what a woman is.

00:31:48.260 If a nation cannot agree on that, then a nation cannot agree on anything at all.

00:31:53.200 You're seeing this play out right now in Colorado.

00:31:55.160 Colorado has become a sanctuary state for transing the kids.

00:31:59.400 And I don't think this will remain a state issue.

00:32:02.360 If we cannot communicate with one another, if our speech is no longer intelligible, then we cannot have a self-governing republic.

00:32:11.880 The premise of which is that we can talk about issues, perceive the truth and determine how we all want to live together.

00:32:17.800 That is breaking down and accelerating before our eyes.

00:32:22.360 I thought of two phrases yesterday from the founders.

00:32:26.080 Franklin, a republic, ma'am, if you can keep it.

00:32:29.660 And the other, I think, was John Adams.

00:32:35.080 This system is wholly unfit for an irreligious and, what did he say? 1.00

00:32:45.480 Immoral people.

00:32:45.840 Immoral people. 0.92

00:32:47.540 I mean, I thought of both of those yesterday.

00:32:50.540 I thought, boy, they're right.

00:32:52.580 I mean, we have these freedoms.

00:32:54.580 But if we don't have some governor on ourselves, this is what happens.

00:33:01.840 You have riots in the streets and in Chicago and nobody says anything.

00:33:07.000 These are teenagers.

00:33:08.540 If they don't learn now, they've got, you know, if they're lucky, another five years before they're shot, you know, or the rest of their life to go.

00:33:19.640 What are they going to be like when they're 40, if they make it?

00:33:24.700 I'm so glad you brought up the John Adams quote because a lot of people misunderstand it.

00:33:29.100 I think a lot of people think that that John Adams quote is just a nice platitude about how you should go to church.

00:33:34.660 We should all be nice to each other.

00:33:36.240 What John Adams is saying here is he's simply describing a fact about the republic.

00:33:43.240 He's just observing that if a people does not have a shared understanding of what's good and bad and right and wrong and true and false,

00:33:52.200 if we do not make a conscious effort to pursue the good and to avoid evil,

00:33:57.420 this is a basic, basic requirement of statecraft, then the republic will break down.

00:34:03.640 And that's just a fact.

00:34:05.620 You can rely on it like any other scientific fact.

00:34:08.640 And now, unfortunately, we appeared to be proving that right through our own experiment.

00:34:14.720 I sense with some, I hope, I hope this is correct and I hope you're sensing it too.

00:34:23.080 I am sensing a deeper understanding from the right on how fast this can fall apart on us,

00:34:33.480 how close we are, and how meek and humble and peaceful we need to be.

00:34:41.900 I've been afraid of the right striking out, but I'm only afraid of the lone person like the trans shooter. 0.98

00:34:51.360 I'm only afraid of that one crazy out there. 0.94

00:34:56.600 I think that we're starting to understand the right is that we're dealing with evil.

00:35:03.240 Our enemies are not our neighbors.

00:35:05.420 It's evil.

00:35:06.980 And it's almost like the entire nation is possessed.

00:35:10.900 It is.

00:35:11.880 I don't know how you can describe it,

00:35:13.760 especially when we're talking about an ideology that tells you to hate your body and sterilize yourself.

00:35:18.960 And hate your neighbor.

00:35:21.360 And hate your neighbor and hate your country and be destructive and burn things down. 0.99

00:35:25.780 You're so right, though, Glenn, on people waking up and seeing how quickly this can happen.

00:35:30.880 I'm reminded of that Ernest Hemingway quote from The Sun Also Rises when he's asked how he went bankrupt.

00:35:37.140 And he says, gradually, then suddenly.

00:35:39.740 Yes.

00:35:39.900 Things can slowly decline for a while, but then once you cross a certain threshold, once we no longer know what a man is or a woman is, once we no longer know what our country is, things can decay very quickly.

00:35:52.060 It's happened many times before in history.

00:35:54.420 We are not magically immune to that.

00:35:56.400 And if we don't make a conscious, concerted effort to preserve our society, our community, we're going to lose it.

00:36:03.600 And I said it years ago, I said, this is all going to build up and then it's going to just come like a thief in the night.

00:36:12.760 And you'll have so many friends who will say, when did this happen?

00:36:17.880 Right now.

00:36:18.880 Right now is when it's happening.

00:36:20.160 You weren't paying attention, but it's been happening for years.

00:36:24.520 And you chose not to look at it.

00:36:28.120 So don't come surprised.

00:36:31.100 You just chose not to look at it.

00:36:34.280 And I think that's the choice a lot of Americans are making, but I'm glad I think there are more Americans that are saying, wait, I should probably pay attention to what's going on here and are getting more and more involved.

00:36:47.340 Michael, thank you.

00:36:48.120 And also, I want to thank you as a non-Catholic, but thank you as a Catholic for standing up for your faith, being a great representation of your faith.

00:37:02.440 I've heard you recently call for peace and, you know, all of the teachings of Jesus.

00:37:08.980 And I just can't thank you enough, Michael.

00:37:10.880 I'm proud to call you a friend.

00:37:14.400 Thank you, Glenn.

00:37:15.360 I appreciate that and the feeling is mutual.

00:37:18.220 And let's just pray as largely what we can do right now.

00:37:23.860 Let's pray that there is a happy solution to what is now an urgent and increasingly dire problem.

00:37:30.540 Thank you very much.

00:37:31.180 God bless to everybody.
