Transcript

00:00:00.000 Hey, today's a big show with a lot of President Trump on it.
00:00:04.540 I had dinner with him on Friday, did an interview.
00:00:08.300 We have pieces of that interview.
00:00:10.120 Also, Saturday was with him again with Bill O'Reilly, and he made some news this weekend.
00:00:16.180 We want to go over some of that and so much more on today's podcast.
00:00:20.940 Welcome to the program.
00:00:37.660 I'm going to play some audio from my interview with Donald Trump over the weekend and also
00:00:45.920 get into some other things revolving around that coming up in just a few minutes.
00:00:51.700 Also, don't forget MercuryOne.org is on the scene now trying to provide relief.
00:00:59.140 We could use your donations.
00:01:02.360 100% of the money will go right to the people who are victims of this hurricane.
00:01:08.900 So please join our efforts at MercuryOne.org.
00:01:12.900 It looks like Elon Musk has been named by Time Magazine the person of the year.
00:01:20.120 We'll get into that a little later.
00:01:21.840 And Chris Cuomo has named our next guest a crazy right winger, the Fox weather bitch, which
00:01:31.820 I'm sure she appreciates.
00:01:34.960 Janice Dean is with us now.
00:01:36.440 Hi, Janice.
00:01:37.040 How are you?
00:01:38.100 Oh, Glenn, you could say that word on the air.
00:01:41.260 Yeah.
00:01:41.700 Yeah, I don't like to, but I want to get his words exact.
00:01:46.420 This is another all-time low for these guys.
00:01:53.000 I'm not surprised, though.
00:01:54.880 I think you and I have spoken throughout this year and a half that I've been trying to raise
00:01:59.760 awareness and accountability for the deaths of my husband's parents who were in nursing
00:02:04.420 homes, and last spring we found out that our governor forced 9,000 COVID-infected patients
00:02:10.880 to go into nursing homes, including my husband's parents.
00:02:15.380 And so I've kind of been on a mission to find out why and then find out also why he hid those
00:02:22.520 numbers.
00:02:22.840 At least 15,000 seniors died, and he was covering up the numbers by at least 50%.
00:02:28.060 We now know the timeline corresponded with his $5.2 million book, celebrating himself and
00:02:34.860 saying he was like the best leader in the middle of a pandemic, winning an Emmy Award, going
00:02:40.460 on every major news channel to celebrate himself, including on his brother's network, joking
00:02:46.380 about free COVID tests that him and his family were getting while nursing homes could not test
00:02:51.060 incoming patients.
00:02:52.560 And early on, I heard from a few people that know this family very well, and they told me,
00:02:58.180 watch your back, these people are vindictive, they will come after you, they will do whatever
00:03:04.580 they have to do to silence you.
00:03:07.140 So I'm not surprised that this information is coming out, but what I am doing is I'm filing
00:03:11.840 what they call a FOIL request, Freedom of Information Law here in New York, to see if I can find
00:03:18.800 any paperwork, official documentation from the Cuomo administration and Chris Cuomo talking
00:03:25.340 about myself or my family.
00:03:28.180 I think that is a very smart move.
00:03:31.240 These guys are, you know, we joke that they're a mob family, but they have a lot of the mob
00:03:37.740 like attitudes and tactics.
00:03:41.420 You know, the family is number one, they circle the wagons and they destroy anybody that gets
00:03:46.780 in their way.
00:03:49.040 It really seems that way.
00:03:50.800 And I've talked to a few people who are kind of tallying up all the potential crimes that
00:03:57.320 this administration has committed.
00:03:58.880 There are several of them, and they might even fall under the RICO Act.
00:04:02.480 I mean, this is like an organized crime family.
00:04:05.700 I mean, I'm not joking about this, and I know you're not either.
00:04:09.500 So do you think that, do you think that somebody is going to see jail time from all of this?
00:04:16.060 A Cuomo?
00:04:16.560 I think Andrew Cuomo could possibly see jail time from this, yes.
00:04:22.240 The fact that he was actively covering up nursing home deaths to benefit himself and
00:04:28.920 his family, that would be a crime.
00:04:32.020 Also, giving out those free friends and family COVID tests to city officials using state resources
00:04:38.320 to do that, while nobody could get COVID tests.
00:04:42.580 And then the book deal.
00:04:44.300 The book deal, the fact that they used government resources and turned the executive chambers
00:04:49.820 into a book publishing company.
00:04:51.660 Instead of saving New York, you know, instead of governing the people he was elected to do
00:05:00.660 that for.
00:05:01.320 So there are several things that are against the law that he broke the law and should be
00:05:07.600 punished for.
00:05:08.940 It is fascinating to me to see how different states and people from those states are reacting
00:05:16.000 to the coronavirus, where it's cult-like.
00:05:23.540 It is almost cult-like with the vaccines and the masking.
00:05:28.760 Now it looks like we are going to have to mask up again in some states.
00:05:33.940 New York is doing that.
00:05:35.880 Governor Inslee in Washington state said those who are unvaccinated are domestic terrorists.
00:05:44.260 They're carrying around a time bomb in their backpack.
00:05:48.540 This is insanity.
00:05:51.260 When is this going to stop?
00:05:53.860 That's a good question.
00:05:55.260 You know, our governor here in New York has basically, you know, declared a state of emergency
00:06:00.440 again.
00:06:01.380 And she's enforced all of those rules and regulations.
00:06:05.620 You know, even kids the age of five and under are masking up.
00:06:09.700 You know, my kids are in school every day.
00:06:11.340 And yet every time I see her on television, she doesn't wear a mask.
00:06:14.540 So, you know, we see these government officials saying that you have to do this.
00:06:20.280 But yet when they go out and attend parties and functions, we don't see them with a mask
00:06:25.860 on.
00:06:26.220 It's quite infuriating.
00:06:28.160 How do you think things are going to end for Fauci?
00:06:31.700 I can't understand why he's still out there speaking.
00:06:34.700 You know, this weekend, he said Americans are just going to have to deal with yearly boosters
00:06:38.460 because they might become necessary.
00:06:41.920 Whoa.
00:06:42.400 Well, but the media keeps putting him on television.
00:06:45.960 And, you know, early on, him and Andrew Cuomo were like buddies.
00:06:49.580 You know, they called each other every day.
00:06:51.380 He was very, you know, he was calling Chris Cuomo every day when Chris apparently had COVID,
00:06:56.740 even though, you know, he was lying to us and was still going out, despite telling all
00:07:02.340 of his viewers that he was quarantining.
00:07:04.420 So I remember when Fauci was saying that Andrew Cuomo was doing a good job as body bags are piling
00:07:10.520 outside of nursing homes.
00:07:12.500 So, you know, he continues to be on television and people are giving him airtime.
00:07:17.580 And I believe he also has a book coming out about how great he is.
00:07:20.940 Oh, my gosh.
00:07:23.380 Janice, thank you so much.
00:07:24.640 Thanks for everything that you've done.
00:07:26.260 And I hope you have a great, great holiday.
00:07:29.640 Glenn, thank you.
00:07:30.340 And thank you to your listeners as well for sending the prayers and listening to the story.
00:07:34.280 You got it.
00:07:34.780 Thank you.
00:07:35.480 That is one woman who changed the world.
00:07:38.880 She really did.
00:07:39.660 She is, I think, the reason Cuomo is out and all of this started to snowball.
00:07:47.080 Would you agree with that?
00:07:48.060 Yeah.
00:07:48.320 If there's any one person responsible for it, it's her.
00:07:51.160 I mean, I think you did a great job, too.
00:07:53.160 I mean, you were.
00:07:53.940 She would say.
00:07:55.420 She would say.
00:07:56.300 I mean, she's so.
00:07:57.100 You are also a big part of it.
00:07:58.680 She's also the nicest person in the universe.
00:08:00.760 Yeah, she is.
00:08:01.380 Which is what's so amazing about this particular scandal with Chris Cuomo.
00:08:05.080 I mean, there could not be anything more opposite of the truth than to call Janice Dean, you know, a an evil or whatever.
00:08:17.360 Right winger.
00:08:18.360 Crazy right winger.
00:08:19.440 And obviously the swears and stuff in particular, that particular term is just so not her.
00:08:26.620 I mean, she's really.
00:08:28.000 I mean, before this Cuomo thing, obviously, she's been well known in the media for a very long time.
00:08:32.460 She is a senior meteorologist at Fox News.
00:08:35.500 She has a very long and illustrious career.
00:08:38.800 But, you know, she recently has come to writing these books about just people doing nice things for each other and going through tough times and struggles personally and overcoming them.
00:08:50.820 And what a witch.
00:08:52.000 It's like the exact opposite of who she is.
00:08:54.840 And, you know, this is the type of thing that Chris Cuomo has done for CNN.
00:09:00.680 He said the opposite of the truth on the air.
00:09:03.200 And now we apparently know off the air as well.
00:09:05.520 That's who Chris Cuomo is.
00:09:06.940 And what, you know, it's so funny is they they said how bad Fox News was.
00:09:11.520 And, yeah, there were some problems at Fox News, sexual problems at Fox News.
00:09:18.700 I didn't see it, but I'm not a woman.
00:09:20.460 And look at me.
00:09:21.400 Nobody's hitting on me.
00:09:23.540 But I know that there were problems there.
00:09:26.940 The ones that are at CNN, you wonder how, how arrogant, how did they ever get to a place to believe that they could behave in worse manners and still point to the other and not have a stone come through their glass wall?
00:09:50.820 You know, that takes balls, you know, usually if you're doing something, you're like, and somebody else does it.
00:09:57.760 You don't dogpile on that person because you don't, you know, somebody's going to go, wait a minute, what do you do?
00:10:04.040 You doing anything like that?
00:10:06.860 And they just dogpiled.
00:10:09.080 Seems like that was the cause of all these controversies, too.
00:10:11.260 They kept saying things on the air or publicly that pissed off women they had harassed over multiple or in Don Lemon's case, a man.
00:10:20.700 And just they just were like, OK, I can't take this anymore.
00:10:25.860 Yeah.
00:10:26.000 The hypocrisy.
00:10:27.140 I can't take it anymore.
00:10:28.860 By the way, let me give you some good news.
00:10:31.700 Ron is Ron DeSantis has released his budget.
00:10:36.640 And he's put eight million dollars into his budget to transport illegal immigrants out of Florida and shipping them right to the District of Columbia and Delaware.
00:10:55.080 Now, they wouldn't.
00:10:56.300 I love that.
00:10:57.080 Wasn't Martha's Vineyard on the list?
00:10:58.560 Yeah, Martha's Vineyard is as well.
00:10:59.960 Now, they wouldn't reject this, right?
00:11:03.500 They wouldn't say we don't want them to come here, would they?
00:11:07.180 They certainly wouldn't say something like that because they are so willing to welcome illegal immigrants all over the country.
00:11:15.440 I hope he does it.
00:11:15.960 I really hope he does it.
00:11:17.900 Do you think he will?
00:11:18.940 It's eight million dollars got to be approved by the legislature, et cetera, et cetera.
00:11:22.060 But I think that that says it all.
00:11:24.880 That would say it all.
00:11:25.860 You came in with airplanes in the middle of the night.
00:11:30.520 And you landed and you put all these people in here without talking to anybody, not just the governor's office, but anyone in Florida.
00:11:40.060 Nobody had a voice in saying, no, we don't want the people who had just crossed here illegally.
00:11:45.160 You flew them in.
00:11:47.100 Fine.
00:11:47.900 We don't want them.
00:11:49.960 We're going to we're going to give them to you because you are the leaders of this, Barack Obama.
00:11:54.880 You're the leaders of this, Washington, D.C.
00:11:57.760 You're the leaders of this, Delaware.
00:12:00.220 You take them.
00:12:01.900 How is the president going to say no in Delaware?
00:12:05.780 How is he going to say no in Martha's Vineyard?
00:12:08.960 And my temptation is to pitch it like this, like, hey, are you going to say you to say no here, guys?
00:12:14.920 Well, wait a minute.
00:12:15.420 I thought that you cared so much.
00:12:17.080 That's my temptation.
00:12:17.940 But in reality, let's just put it as let's just take them at their word.
00:12:23.560 They continually say, number one, they're not a threat in any way.
00:12:27.900 There's no negative consequences from this.
00:12:29.900 And number two, they're the only ones who can help them.
00:12:32.900 And and we are treating them terribly.
00:12:35.000 And number three, if you say anything about it, you're a xenophobe.
00:12:38.240 Right.
00:12:38.900 So so let's load the plane.
00:12:41.160 I'm for the good of the illegal immigrants.
00:12:43.700 You say Republican states treat them horribly and don't give them the things that they need
00:12:48.960 and treat them as others and all of these things that you say all the time.
00:12:53.160 We're all these racist states that don't want to help these fine people get along with their lives.
00:12:57.580 Well, then maybe you should take them.
00:12:58.900 Maybe you're the only one who can who can handle it.
00:13:00.580 So Ron DeSantis is going to be on my program on Wednesday night.
00:13:04.040 He's the Wednesday night special live for the full hour.
00:13:06.900 Oh, that's yeah.
00:13:08.320 And I'm going to tell him if you can't get that through the budget.
00:13:13.260 I think this audience would raise eight million dollars to do that.
00:13:16.600 Don't you move people out of the Middle East, you know, to safety.
00:13:21.040 We should move them to the safety of Martha's Vineyard.
00:13:24.980 And I think we could raise that eight million dollars in about an hour.
00:13:29.640 So if he can't get it through the legislature.
00:13:33.080 Our audience would raise the money and you just put it together, Ron, and we'll pay for the planes, because I think that is a really good test.
00:13:44.900 Who's xenophobic?
00:13:46.520 Who thinks that they're an asset to your community in all ways?
00:13:52.000 Who thinks they shouldn't be they shouldn't be verified that they're not good guys or bad guys?
00:13:59.620 We're just going to take the people that you dropped off in Florida.
00:14:02.740 You didn't check.
00:14:04.260 You didn't vet.
00:14:05.440 You didn't vaccinate.
00:14:06.820 And we're just going to drop them off on Martha's Vineyard.
00:14:10.520 Have a good time.
00:14:12.480 That's fantastic.
00:14:14.300 The Martha's Vineyard one is fantastic.
00:14:16.760 They're not going to say yes to that.
00:14:18.860 No, neither will Delaware.
00:14:20.100 No, no, probably not Delaware.
00:14:21.780 You definitely won't get it there.
00:14:23.020 They weren't even letting their own citizens back on those islands during the COVID stuff.
00:14:27.740 I know.
00:14:28.120 They were like, are you only a vacation home here?
00:14:30.380 You're not allowed.
00:14:33.420 Those are the good people that don't own the vacation homes.
00:14:36.020 They live there year round.
00:14:37.000 Those are the good people.
00:14:38.820 And I think they had a right to say, oh, you're only a snot from a city?
00:14:44.140 I don't know.
00:14:44.900 I think if you own property on one of these places, you should be able to visit the property.
00:14:48.800 I don't know.
00:14:49.140 Oh, really?
00:14:50.380 Yeah, I think so.
00:14:51.500 Oh, that's crazy old.
00:14:53.480 Oh, here he is dusting off the old constitution again.
00:15:01.240 This is the best of the Glenn Beck program.
00:15:03.160 And we really want to thank you for listening.
00:15:04.860 Oh, my gosh.
00:15:15.800 How are you?
00:15:19.540 I will tell you, I was in town last night.
00:15:22.820 I did an interview with the president.
00:15:24.660 Bill O'Reilly invited me to have dinner with him and some friends.
00:15:37.620 And I then got an invitation to have dinner with the president in Malania.
00:15:42.500 And so I felt bad the whole time thinking of Bill at that Applebee's all by himself.
00:15:51.040 I'm not going to waste any time.
00:15:53.680 This is the show everybody has been waiting for.
00:15:56.260 However, this is the show that President Biden said,
00:16:00.080 Hadambalam shoe, parrot, popsicle.
00:16:07.620 Ladies and gentlemen, wait a minute.
00:16:13.080 This is no joke.
00:16:17.680 I will verify this is on Bill O'Reilly stationary.
00:16:21.580 He asked me to say this.
00:16:26.380 Here, Glenn, please say,
00:16:28.120 As you know, Bill is a humble guy.
00:16:35.840 No, ask him.
00:16:37.000 Seriously, he will tell you.
00:16:38.820 His best trait is his humility.
00:16:41.880 And that is saying something.
00:16:44.400 So, introduction is short.
00:16:47.380 He is the most successful cable news anchor of all time.
00:16:54.120 And the best-selling non-fiction book author of all time.
00:17:01.720 Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome.
00:17:06.900 I can't read the rest.
00:17:09.460 Ladies and gentlemen, Bill O'Reilly.
00:17:12.660 And we welcome Bill to the program today.
00:17:14.980 Hello, Bill.
00:17:15.480 How are you?
00:17:15.900 Yeah, I was stunned the crowd liked you.
00:17:20.000 I was equally as stunned that they liked you.
00:17:23.120 By the way, thank you for...
00:17:24.520 Well, I was trying to get you in there so I wouldn't look so bad.
00:17:27.100 Right.
00:17:27.480 I want to thank you for the hospitality.
00:17:30.180 Can we throw up, if you're watching on the blaze,
00:17:31.940 throw up the picture of me outside of the venue
00:17:34.240 for about 20 minutes in the heat.
00:17:37.420 Just wait.
00:17:37.820 Do we have that?
00:17:38.540 Do we don't have that?
00:17:39.520 There we go.
00:17:40.220 There I am.
00:17:40.880 And I don't know if we have the picture of me
00:17:43.140 in this luxurious dressing room.
00:17:46.360 It was the Panthers...
00:17:49.520 You know...
00:17:52.060 NHL team.
00:17:52.520 NHL team.
00:17:53.200 What do you call those?
00:17:53.920 Locker rooms.
00:17:55.260 There wasn't even a water in there for me.
00:17:59.160 But I appreciate it, Bill.
00:18:00.660 It was a great way to, you know,
00:18:02.660 show me what was important and who was important.
00:18:04.960 We want to keep you humble back.
00:18:07.840 So, I want to play a couple of clips
00:18:09.940 because I think there was some news made.
00:18:14.320 And when you first came out,
00:18:16.040 you said that, you know, this is not a rally.
00:18:19.240 This is to put things on the record.
00:18:23.340 And there's a couple of things.
00:18:25.340 Let's play cut three here.
00:18:27.100 Here's Nancy Pelosi, January 6th.
00:18:30.380 I knew how large this was going to be
00:18:32.880 because everyone I knew was saying,
00:18:34.200 oh, we're going to be there on the 6th.
00:18:35.580 We're going to be...
00:18:36.060 No matter where you went.
00:18:37.380 I said, I think this is going to be really big.
00:18:39.780 And I asked the Secretary of Defense,
00:18:42.380 I said, I think you should recommend
00:18:44.600 to Nancy Pelosi and to Congress
00:18:47.020 because they're the ones that control it.
00:18:49.340 I would like to recommend
00:18:50.520 10,000 National Guardsmen
00:18:53.400 to go and to police here just in case.
00:18:56.980 I mean, it's a massive rally.
00:18:59.780 This could be over a million people.
00:19:01.740 And by the way, I think it was
00:19:02.720 substantially over a million people.
00:19:04.620 You never hear that.
00:19:05.880 But I think it was substantially...
00:19:07.900 Did the DOD go to Pelosi?
00:19:10.420 Yeah, he did.
00:19:11.380 And they turned...
00:19:12.860 Chris Miller, who was a great guy
00:19:15.120 and did a great job,
00:19:16.440 he went to them.
00:19:18.320 He made...
00:19:19.020 I didn't do it as an order.
00:19:20.580 I did it as a suggestion.
00:19:22.060 Because remember, they run the police.
00:19:25.400 Right, in the district.
00:19:26.760 Pelosi and Schumer run that whole operation.
00:19:30.360 So a lot of people don't know this.
00:19:31.820 They don't like to report it.
00:19:33.020 So they went there.
00:19:34.320 They recommended that I had...
00:19:36.400 That I said...
00:19:37.000 Only because I knew the size of this crowd
00:19:38.820 was going to be enormous.
00:19:40.760 What you see there was, again,
00:19:42.920 a very small number of people
00:19:45.340 relative to the people
00:19:46.400 that heard the speeches
00:19:47.940 and went home.
00:19:49.600 And I said 10,000 people.
00:19:52.380 And Nancy Pelosi turned it down.
00:19:54.940 Did you ever ask her why?
00:19:56.840 Did you ever find out?
00:19:57.800 No, I didn't ask her why.
00:19:59.640 She'd give me...
00:20:00.040 Well, next time I talk to her,
00:20:01.180 I'll ask her.
00:20:01.340 It would be a good thing.
00:20:02.340 Next time you talk to her, ask her.
00:20:03.440 Right.
00:20:03.960 Anybody want to ask her why?
00:20:05.980 But you don't hear that.
00:20:07.240 I mean, I'll bet you
00:20:07.900 most of the people in this audience
00:20:09.240 have never heard that before.
00:20:10.900 So I recommended 10,
00:20:12.520 but I said, do whatever they want.
00:20:13.820 They're running the Capitol.
00:20:14.740 They know what they're doing.
00:20:16.040 And the Capitol police knew about it
00:20:17.680 and she knew about it.
00:20:18.660 And they turned it down
00:20:19.620 because they said it didn't look good.
00:20:21.400 Okay, so Bill,
00:20:23.440 this answers one of the questions.
00:20:27.220 Where was the National Guard?
00:20:29.440 And the second question is,
00:20:33.180 why did it take so long
00:20:35.280 to get anybody out there?
00:20:39.440 They knew in advance.
00:20:40.440 It's even worse than that
00:20:41.660 because you have this committee
00:20:43.140 in the House
00:20:44.580 investigating President Trump
00:20:48.240 for instigating
00:20:49.500 the attack on the Capitol.
00:20:52.960 So now he goes on the record
00:20:56.040 and says two days before,
00:20:58.620 I want a 10,000 guard in D.C.,
00:21:01.480 not only at the Capitol,
00:21:02.660 but other government offices.
00:21:05.360 And Pelosi would know.
00:21:09.740 Now, the Washington Post
00:21:10.640 has disputed that,
00:21:12.280 but it looks like
00:21:13.500 Donald Trump did exactly
00:21:16.400 what he said he did.
00:21:17.680 And, you know,
00:21:19.340 you can't trust
00:21:20.360 the hate Trump media at all,
00:21:22.600 but this is a,
00:21:23.840 this just basically
00:21:26.360 knocks out
00:21:27.340 that House committee.
00:21:28.520 The whole premise
00:21:29.680 goes down the drain.
00:21:31.820 And that was,
00:21:33.440 you know,
00:21:33.840 one of my goals
00:21:35.080 was to get on the record
00:21:36.980 a bunch of stuff
00:21:39.180 that has never been reported
00:21:40.980 to the American people.
00:21:41.960 And we succeeded in doing that,
00:21:43.580 but it wasn't an easy slog.
00:21:45.540 You have another clip
00:21:46.760 you want to run
00:21:47.260 because I have two points
00:21:48.440 I want to make,
00:21:49.160 but I don't want to interrupt
00:21:49.980 the flow.
00:21:50.540 Yeah, so let me just give you,
00:21:51.720 let me give you one more.
00:21:52.840 Here's Trump on China
00:21:54.040 and reparations.
00:21:55.860 Listen to this.
00:21:56.960 Do you think the Chinese government
00:21:58.080 had anything to do
00:21:59.240 with that virus?
00:22:04.080 Well, I think this,
00:22:05.220 I think they have to pay a price
00:22:06.720 for the damage
00:22:07.760 they cause to the world.
00:22:09.020 I do think that.
00:22:10.260 What price would that be?
00:22:11.760 It's got to be a price.
00:22:12.820 And by the way,
00:22:14.000 they create a lot of money.
00:22:16.940 I don't know that they have
00:22:17.700 a lot of money,
00:22:18.320 but they certainly create
00:22:19.260 a lot of money.
00:22:20.440 Nobody has the money
00:22:21.580 that we're talking,
00:22:22.280 we're talking about
00:22:22.900 probably 50 or 60 trillion dollars.
00:22:25.940 They don't have that money.
00:22:27.300 Nobody has that money.
00:22:28.600 Nobody will ever have that money.
00:22:30.000 The damage and the death
00:22:31.220 that has been caused.
00:22:32.980 So a lot of people
00:22:34.060 ask me that question.
00:22:35.160 I personally don't think so,
00:22:36.840 but I'll tell you
00:22:37.340 what they did do very badly.
00:22:39.040 They didn't let the world
00:22:40.180 know about it.
00:22:40.980 They didn't tell people
00:22:42.320 to keep up your guard.
00:22:43.880 They guarded China.
00:22:45.100 You couldn't get out of Wuhan
00:22:46.520 or you couldn't get out
00:22:47.760 of the Wuhan province.
00:22:48.880 They covered it up.
00:22:49.840 The province.
00:22:50.660 Well, no,
00:22:51.580 you couldn't get into China,
00:22:53.200 but you could get into Europe
00:22:55.100 and you could get into the US.
00:22:57.060 You could get it all over the world,
00:22:58.520 but they wouldn't let you.
00:22:59.980 So that's a thing
00:23:01.720 that they're going to have to explain.
00:23:04.060 And if we had the right people,
00:23:05.760 they would be explaining,
00:23:07.080 but they should.
00:23:07.960 We talk about reparations.
00:23:09.720 Because they should pay reparations
00:23:11.980 for the damage they've done.
00:23:12.720 But they'll never do that.
00:23:13.440 All right.
00:23:14.000 Bill, go ahead.
00:23:15.200 Yes.
00:23:16.420 Well, I mean,
00:23:17.240 you basically have a situation here
00:23:20.200 where you have a sitting president
00:23:22.100 coming in
00:23:24.420 and answering
00:23:25.540 very serious questions.
00:23:28.860 And my task,
00:23:30.220 and I know you saw this,
00:23:32.260 is some of the people
00:23:34.380 in the audience,
00:23:35.180 and the audience is huge,
00:23:36.440 and I want to get to that
00:23:37.580 in a moment.
00:23:39.700 They thought they were at a rally.
00:23:42.120 So I actually scolded them.
00:23:43.920 I had to scold them.
00:23:45.160 I was stern.
00:23:46.540 I said,
00:23:46.880 wait a minute.
00:23:47.940 This is the president
00:23:49.020 of the United States.
00:23:50.960 We're getting information
00:23:51.880 we don't know.
00:23:53.100 And you're going,
00:23:54.620 oh,
00:23:55.080 no,
00:23:57.700 don't do that.
00:24:00.180 This is a very serious thing.
00:24:02.160 Now,
00:24:02.820 I did get it under control.
00:24:05.640 And the next night
00:24:06.840 in Orlando,
00:24:07.820 it wasn't that way.
00:24:10.080 But because there are 11,000
00:24:11.820 in the building
00:24:12.520 in Fort Lauderdale,
00:24:14.260 Yeah.
00:24:14.780 It's hard.
00:24:15.860 there were people
00:24:16.980 who couldn't grasp
00:24:18.060 the concept
00:24:18.820 that this was
00:24:19.860 one of the only times
00:24:22.340 that Donald Trump
00:24:24.140 had been asked
00:24:25.000 serious questions
00:24:26.160 about the world
00:24:27.040 and the country
00:24:27.920 because the corrupt media
00:24:30.140 didn't want to hear
00:24:31.380 any of this.
00:24:32.000 and still doesn't.
00:24:33.080 And that brings me
00:24:33.920 to Newsweek.
00:24:35.020 All right.
00:24:35.460 So Newsweek,
00:24:36.380 one of the most corrupt
00:24:37.400 pieces of garbage
00:24:40.240 in the country,
00:24:41.780 runs a piece
00:24:42.640 that says,
00:24:43.180 oh,
00:24:43.780 there were all these
00:24:44.540 empty seats
00:24:45.440 and, you know,
00:24:46.460 and then it's immediately
00:24:47.360 picked up by the Daily Beast
00:24:48.960 helping to post
00:24:49.740 all of this crap.
00:24:51.220 All right.
00:24:52.440 Here's the timeline.
00:24:54.640 30,000 people
00:24:56.240 have bought tickets
00:24:57.260 to these four shows
00:24:58.480 and the Texas shows
00:24:59.540 on Saturday and Sunday,
00:25:00.760 Houston, Dallas,
00:25:01.380 are still selling.
00:25:02.460 30,000 people
00:25:04.300 in the middle
00:25:05.220 of a pandemic.
00:25:07.540 The show in Lauderdale
00:25:08.480 grossed $2 million.
00:25:11.980 And Newsweek puts out
00:25:14.060 this garbage,
00:25:15.120 this lie,
00:25:16.080 on purpose
00:25:17.060 to denigrate the show.
00:25:18.840 And it gets picked up
00:25:20.280 and distributed.
00:25:22.520 Well, here's the thing
00:25:24.220 that I thought of,
00:25:26.000 Bill,
00:25:26.180 as I was leaving.
00:25:26.940 Before I heard
00:25:28.140 any of that
00:25:28.660 this morning,
00:25:29.220 when I was leaving
00:25:30.520 the venue,
00:25:31.200 I looked at my staff
00:25:32.340 and said,
00:25:33.040 name another president
00:25:34.740 from either party
00:25:36.320 that could have sold
00:25:38.120 at $100 a pop
00:25:39.840 an interview with him
00:25:41.940 and sold
00:25:43.720 that many tickets.
00:25:46.140 I mean,
00:25:46.360 I,
00:25:46.540 there's,
00:25:47.540 no one in the world
00:25:48.680 could have done it.
00:25:49.820 No one.
00:25:50.140 In the middle
00:25:50.600 of a pandemic,
00:25:51.660 now that's,
00:25:52.320 listen,
00:25:53.740 there were people
00:25:54.860 absolutely wanted
00:25:56.560 to see the show
00:25:57.960 but were afraid
00:25:59.120 to go,
00:26:00.180 particularly elderly people.
00:26:02.300 All right?
00:26:02.700 And I know that
00:26:03.320 to be true.
00:26:04.420 But we are,
00:26:05.980 this is probably
00:26:07.280 the most successful
00:26:10.220 political show
00:26:12.560 of all time.
00:26:13.460 In the history.
00:26:14.080 It really,
00:26:14.500 it probably is.
00:26:15.700 I mean,
00:26:16.140 I saw the,
00:26:16.900 I saw the Rolling Stones
00:26:17.960 at the Cotton Bowl
00:26:19.380 here a couple
00:26:19.920 of weeks ago
00:26:20.440 and there were
00:26:20.920 a lot of unsold
00:26:22.280 seats there as well.
00:26:24.140 But this was
00:26:24.580 a good sized crowd.
00:26:25.840 Let me ask you this.
00:26:27.080 The,
00:26:27.760 the problem
00:26:29.900 with the tickets
00:26:30.820 because this is
00:26:31.480 what I heard
00:26:32.040 that somebody
00:26:33.580 had hacked in
00:26:34.620 and made some
00:26:35.520 of the tickets
00:26:36.220 look like fraudulent
00:26:37.640 and so that caused
00:26:38.920 some of the delay.
00:26:40.760 People had to go
00:26:41.560 to the will call.
00:26:43.000 Was there,
00:26:43.480 was there anything
00:26:44.520 nefarious that was
00:26:45.460 going on with that?
00:26:46.360 I didn't,
00:26:46.620 I didn't hear
00:26:47.160 any of that.
00:26:48.560 At all.
00:26:49.740 The Secret Service
00:26:50.480 had,
00:26:51.260 you know,
00:26:51.780 obviously,
00:26:52.760 we've got that
00:26:53.660 many people
00:26:54.440 coming in.
00:26:55.760 It,
00:26:56.180 it slowed it down
00:26:57.520 as far as people
00:26:58.340 getting into the arena.
00:27:00.500 And then there was
00:27:01.420 you standing out there
00:27:02.540 and it caused a riot
00:27:03.720 and people wanted
00:27:04.940 to get your autograph
00:27:05.780 and whatever.
00:27:06.980 All by myself.
00:27:07.960 Kicking rocks
00:27:08.540 in the parking lot.
00:27:09.780 Asking myself
00:27:10.560 why the hell
00:27:11.140 did I agree
00:27:11.640 to do this for Bill?
00:27:12.760 I just don't get it.
00:27:13.360 You were a big hit,
00:27:14.480 Beck.
00:27:14.620 That was good for you.
00:27:15.820 Thanks a lot,
00:27:16.340 Bill.
00:27:16.460 I appreciate it.
00:27:17.180 All right.
00:27:18.100 Thanks for helping us out
00:27:19.760 and we'll talk again
00:27:20.720 later this week,
00:27:21.460 I hope.
00:27:21.860 You got it.
00:27:22.560 In Houston
00:27:23.440 at the Toyota Center,
00:27:24.660 tickets are still available
00:27:25.860 at toyotacenter.com
00:27:27.120 and that is on
00:27:28.740 the 18th,
00:27:29.840 19th in Dallas
00:27:31.480 at the American Airlines Center,
00:27:33.980 ticketmaster.com.
00:27:35.280 I will tell you this,
00:27:36.480 Donald Trump is in a really
00:27:38.480 good place right now.
00:27:40.680 I worried about that
00:27:42.840 because he wasn't
00:27:44.380 in a really good place
00:27:45.420 just a few months ago,
00:27:46.760 if you remember
00:27:47.340 at the beginning of the year.
00:27:48.320 Not a good place.
00:27:50.020 And he's in a really good place.
00:27:51.960 And I'm going to share
00:27:52.640 some of the things
00:27:53.380 that I learned from him
00:27:54.700 in our interview.
00:27:56.000 I did a sit down
00:27:56.800 with him
00:27:57.300 about the future
00:27:58.780 and that is going
00:28:00.640 to air in January.
00:28:01.640 But I want to play
00:28:02.420 a couple of cuts
00:28:03.280 from that
00:28:04.700 coming up
00:28:05.120 in just a little while.
00:28:06.120 The best of the
00:28:11.300 Glenn Beck Program.
00:28:23.120 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
00:28:26.360 We welcome to the program
00:28:28.100 in studio Jedediah Bila,
00:28:30.440 who is the author
00:28:31.560 of a book,
00:28:32.360 Dear Hartley.
00:28:33.840 She's also a former co-host
00:28:35.660 on The View
00:28:36.220 and is a Blaze alum.
00:28:39.760 That's correct.
00:28:40.580 Welcome.
00:28:40.900 How are you?
00:28:41.460 I'm doing great.
00:28:42.300 It's great to be
00:28:42.940 in the free state of Texas.
00:28:44.700 It feels good.
00:28:45.480 It feels different.
00:28:46.380 You live in New York still.
00:28:48.160 I do.
00:28:48.860 New York City?
00:28:49.780 New York City.
00:28:50.500 Yeah, I live right
00:28:51.100 outside Manhattan.
00:28:52.220 I don't know.
00:28:53.300 Well, my family's there, right?
00:28:54.660 So I got out of Manhattan
00:28:56.040 during COVID.
00:28:58.120 But it's time to leave.
00:28:59.840 You know, I've said many times
00:29:00.840 I have a child now.
00:29:01.940 I have a son.
00:29:02.600 He's two years old
00:29:03.440 and I cannot fathom raising him
00:29:06.540 in what has become of that city.
00:29:08.680 You know, the crime is out of control
00:29:10.320 when you walk around the city.
00:29:11.880 I always say it feels like a city
00:29:13.080 with no soul now.
00:29:14.780 Everyone's walking around.
00:29:15.680 Oh, it always had a soul.
00:29:16.260 It has, it's empty.
00:29:18.980 It's vacant now, New York City.
00:29:21.340 There's a sense of everyone feels
00:29:22.900 like they're afraid of each other.
00:29:24.220 You know, you walk around
00:29:25.260 being scared of everyone else.
00:29:26.920 Everyone's masked.
00:29:27.820 You need, you know,
00:29:28.320 to show your Vax, you know,
00:29:30.880 card to get in everywhere
00:29:32.160 and anywhere.
00:29:32.900 And it just feels, you know,
00:29:34.560 New York used to be rebellious
00:29:36.160 and edgy and artists
00:29:37.980 used to flock there
00:29:39.100 and creativity.
00:29:39.880 And now it just seems dead inside.
00:29:42.120 And, you know, mandates aside,
00:29:44.720 I want my kid to be courageous
00:29:47.400 and free thinking.
00:29:49.020 And, you know,
00:29:49.520 that's not the place for it anymore.
00:29:51.220 No, I'm not going to get that.
00:29:52.440 I tell you, we moved away.
00:29:54.860 Kids were probably six and eight,
00:29:58.200 maybe five and seven.
00:30:01.040 And Tanya said,
00:30:03.580 I said, why, why, why?
00:30:05.640 This city has everything, everything.
00:30:08.840 Take them to the Met.
00:30:09.760 Take them, you know,
00:30:10.260 we live across the street
00:30:11.620 from the park.
00:30:12.420 Let go to the park.
00:30:13.480 She said, you take them to the park.
00:30:15.400 Saturday, you take them to the park.
00:30:17.400 And so I said, I will, I will.
00:30:19.760 I'll take them to the park.
00:30:20.840 And I went and these,
00:30:23.240 this group of three girls
00:30:24.680 must have been about seven years old,
00:30:26.280 all under the monkey bars,
00:30:28.640 dropping their pants
00:30:29.680 and taking a crap
00:30:31.220 under the monkey bars.
00:30:33.400 And the parents,
00:30:34.660 I'm looking around like,
00:30:35.620 where are the parents of these kids?
00:30:37.340 And the parents,
00:30:38.520 the women started,
00:30:41.300 were right next to me
00:30:42.240 and they started laughing
00:30:43.020 and one of them went,
00:30:43.980 you know, Julie,
00:30:45.040 honey, don't do that.
00:30:48.120 I've told you before.
00:30:49.340 And they're all laughing.
00:30:50.340 And I got the kids
00:30:51.080 and I went back home
00:30:51.880 and I said, we're moving.
00:30:52.680 You were right.
00:30:53.740 It's awful.
00:30:54.700 Yeah.
00:30:54.860 And what you see now is,
00:30:56.380 you know,
00:30:56.560 you're seeing the pre-Giuliani years
00:30:58.540 reemerge
00:30:59.340 where all of those safe neighborhoods.
00:31:01.520 And I tweet about this a lot
00:31:03.040 because people who don't live in New York
00:31:04.520 and don't know New York
00:31:05.460 look at the crime
00:31:06.620 and look at what's being said.
00:31:07.480 And they said, well,
00:31:07.880 maybe these are always bad.
00:31:09.200 No, these are,
00:31:10.020 these were once safe neighborhoods
00:31:11.760 and it's just bleeding out now.
00:31:13.980 So into the whole city.
00:31:15.040 I mean, you see people
00:31:15.700 shooting up on the street.
00:31:17.000 I mean, it's,
00:31:17.780 it's outrageous really.
00:31:18.900 You know, when I walk around
00:31:20.440 with my kid,
00:31:21.060 cause sometimes I'll still go
00:31:21.920 into Manhattan
00:31:22.380 for appointments and whatnot.
00:31:24.040 I don't even want him around,
00:31:26.580 you know, around there.
00:31:27.500 I don't, I don't even want it.
00:31:28.320 Like even holding his hand.
00:31:29.400 I'm like, I don't even want this for him.
00:31:31.820 There's nothing left there.
00:31:33.600 And I hope it comes back.
00:31:34.820 It's happening.
00:31:35.140 Look, I hope it comes back, Glenn.
00:31:36.300 And I want to believe
00:31:37.280 that people want that city
00:31:39.660 to come back.
00:31:40.520 But it depends on the people.
00:31:42.960 And if the people there
00:31:43.760 want to be,
00:31:44.180 want to act like zombies
00:31:44.960 and sheep,
00:31:45.520 it's not going to happen.
00:31:46.900 Well, I don't think you're
00:31:47.800 ever going to get them to stop.
00:31:48.940 I mean, well, I mean,
00:31:49.840 Mayor Adams, right?
00:31:51.640 He's coming in.
00:31:52.460 He looks like he might
00:31:54.020 believe in some law and order.
00:31:57.300 But you have cities like this
00:31:58.680 all over the country.
00:32:00.280 Last Friday,
00:32:01.400 over, I think it was a dozen cities,
00:32:03.700 a dozen cities said
00:32:04.840 they have broken their violence
00:32:06.900 and homicide records
00:32:08.020 of all time.
00:32:09.700 That's what.
00:32:10.440 And they're all democratically run,
00:32:12.720 woke cities.
00:32:13.240 Of course.
00:32:13.860 Right.
00:32:14.180 Yeah.
00:32:14.460 But the problem is,
00:32:15.680 is that people,
00:32:16.740 my concern is actually
00:32:18.080 the people who flee cities like that.
00:32:20.220 Because you flee those cities
00:32:22.200 because you say,
00:32:23.280 I don't want this for myself.
00:32:24.680 I don't want this for my family.
00:32:26.300 This has gone crazy.
00:32:28.080 What happens when they relocate, though?
00:32:30.320 Do those people then move
00:32:31.700 to the Austin, Texas's of the world,
00:32:33.480 to the Miamis,
00:32:34.240 and then vote in the same types of people?
00:32:36.960 Well, they are in Austin.
00:32:37.900 Yeah.
00:32:38.200 They are in Austin.
00:32:38.680 That's a huge problem.
00:32:39.900 Because you have,
00:32:40.700 I mean,
00:32:40.880 I don't know what to do
00:32:42.000 to wake up people in this country
00:32:43.940 to say,
00:32:44.340 if you are fleeing something,
00:32:46.520 do something different.
00:32:48.080 Vote differently.
00:32:49.380 Talk differently about issues.
00:32:51.180 Something needs to change.
00:32:52.260 Don't go there and ruin that city.
00:32:54.560 And make it into the city
00:32:55.680 you just left.
00:32:57.140 Do something better.
00:32:58.340 I don't know why.
00:32:59.080 I want to shake everyone.
00:33:00.140 And I know I get crazy.
00:33:01.040 You can already see me getting animated.
00:33:02.400 But really,
00:33:03.240 it's a time to just re-evaluate
00:33:04.820 and look and say,
00:33:05.660 maybe these are things
00:33:06.440 that you once held dear,
00:33:07.500 but it's not working.
00:33:08.900 Look at what's working.
00:33:10.600 And if you have a family
00:33:11.600 and you want them to feel safe
00:33:13.400 and you want values to be protected,
00:33:15.720 like,
00:33:16.460 prioritize those things
00:33:17.780 and choose differently.
00:33:19.440 We are truly
00:33:20.200 in two different countries now.
00:33:22.040 I never felt that about America.
00:33:23.620 But we are.
00:33:24.460 I don't even understand
00:33:25.940 the thinking of people
00:33:27.500 with Rittenhouse.
00:33:30.920 Right.
00:33:31.240 What people said after the trial.
00:33:33.580 Watch the trial.
00:33:35.440 What happened with Jesse Smollett.
00:33:39.160 You know,
00:33:39.360 MSNBC didn't even report on that
00:33:41.680 in prime time at all.
00:33:44.100 Right.
00:33:44.520 Unsurprising.
00:33:45.620 Yeah,
00:33:45.840 but that creates two Americas.
00:33:48.460 One where there are facts
00:33:50.180 and one where there's
00:33:51.500 just this fantasy fact.
00:33:53.720 Yeah,
00:33:53.860 you know,
00:33:54.160 I talked a lot about media.
00:33:56.000 I actually got into this business
00:33:57.160 years ago.
00:33:58.840 I wasn't someone
00:34:00.140 who grew up in a political family.
00:34:01.740 I wasn't someone
00:34:02.540 who worked in Washington, D.C.
00:34:04.000 I didn't want to work
00:34:04.640 in Washington, D.C.
00:34:05.480 Yeah, me too.
00:34:06.240 But I was interested
00:34:08.360 because I watched Sarah Palin.
00:34:10.040 I didn't know who she was
00:34:10.840 at the time.
00:34:11.340 And she came on the scene
00:34:12.140 and she was immediately attacked.
00:34:13.380 You know,
00:34:13.780 you had media
00:34:14.820 that landed in Wasilla, Alaska
00:34:17.220 and decided they were going
00:34:18.180 to do oppo research on her.
00:34:19.480 So I immediately said to myself,
00:34:20.900 oh,
00:34:21.020 I need to figure out
00:34:21.660 what she's done right
00:34:22.500 because she's angered
00:34:23.820 all the right people.
00:34:24.660 So let's look at her record.
00:34:26.520 That was my first inkling
00:34:29.420 that, you know,
00:34:31.140 the media was very powerful
00:34:32.580 and very destructive.
00:34:34.300 And that went on.
00:34:35.360 I think the second moment I had
00:34:37.520 where I said to myself,
00:34:39.520 wow,
00:34:39.900 this is insanity
00:34:40.800 was the Kavanaugh hearings.
00:34:42.620 When you saw
00:34:44.520 what happened there,
00:34:46.240 I mean,
00:34:46.660 this guy,
00:34:47.400 they were destroying him.
00:34:49.020 There was no evidence
00:34:50.640 that he had done
00:34:51.280 any of these things.
00:34:52.620 And they made a decision
00:34:54.020 that they were going
00:34:55.340 to make this about politics
00:34:56.600 and the media gathered together
00:34:58.400 and decided he was guilty.
00:35:00.500 There was no evidence
00:35:01.360 being presented.
00:35:02.400 I mean,
00:35:02.940 Christine Blasey Ford
00:35:03.620 wasn't even,
00:35:04.440 even the people that she said
00:35:05.440 could corroborate her story
00:35:06.400 weren't.
00:35:07.300 And I was sitting and saying,
00:35:08.580 okay,
00:35:09.320 and people walked away from that
00:35:11.500 still believing
00:35:12.540 that he was guilty.
00:35:13.680 Same thing.
00:35:14.380 The New York Times
00:35:15.220 is doubling down
00:35:16.420 on the Russian collusion thing.
00:35:18.880 That's right.
00:35:19.720 There's no truth to that
00:35:21.240 at all.
00:35:21.900 There's no truth to that.
00:35:23.460 It doesn't matter.
00:35:24.660 It doesn't matter, though.
00:35:25.700 How do you survive that?
00:35:27.500 How do those people
00:35:28.980 in the end survive?
00:35:30.940 Well,
00:35:31.260 I think,
00:35:31.840 I think that
00:35:32.880 what you're saying
00:35:33.960 about two countries,
00:35:35.260 there are people
00:35:36.460 who care about facts.
00:35:37.480 They're all over the country
00:35:38.440 and they're sprouting up,
00:35:39.640 not in mainstream media outlets,
00:35:40.740 but in alternative media outlets.
00:35:42.000 That's why you see them
00:35:42.820 in podcasting.
00:35:43.740 You see them on Substack.
00:35:45.000 You see them all over Twitter
00:35:46.200 saying,
00:35:46.680 wait a second,
00:35:47.420 I'm not affiliated
00:35:48.260 with corporate media,
00:35:49.260 but I'm going to tell you the truth.
00:35:50.480 And more and more people
00:35:51.460 are flocking to that.
00:35:52.420 I think the problem arises
00:35:53.800 that you have,
00:35:56.080 you know,
00:35:56.800 collusion here.
00:35:57.820 You have big tech,
00:35:59.300 which has a narrative.
00:36:00.320 You have big media,
00:36:01.840 which has a narrative.
00:36:02.680 You have big politics right now,
00:36:04.660 meaning Democrat politics.
00:36:06.260 It's all the same narrative
00:36:07.400 and they've all come together
00:36:08.680 and decided
00:36:09.440 we're going to make
00:36:11.220 what's untrue,
00:36:12.040 true at all costs.
00:36:14.440 So it takes citizen journalists.
00:36:16.140 It takes,
00:36:16.580 it really takes a lot of effort
00:36:18.220 to decide,
00:36:19.540 wait a second,
00:36:20.080 let me ask questions.
00:36:21.200 It takes issues
00:36:22.180 that affect you and your family.
00:36:23.300 That's why I think
00:36:23.840 with these vaccine mandates,
00:36:25.060 people started to say,
00:36:25.960 well,
00:36:26.040 wait a second,
00:36:27.020 this doesn't make sense.
00:36:28.320 But it's hard.
00:36:29.100 It's hard work.
00:36:30.680 And I think those people
00:36:31.740 regain their name
00:36:32.660 because they go on shows
00:36:33.900 like yours
00:36:34.440 and they go on these podcasts
00:36:36.020 and they get their voice out there
00:36:37.560 and people start to say,
00:36:38.820 I'm being manipulated
00:36:39.860 by the media.
00:36:41.220 This is,
00:36:41.660 this is a game
00:36:42.420 and I'm being played.
00:36:43.260 So see the game
00:36:43.840 or be played by the game.
00:36:45.440 Would you agree
00:36:46.420 that Joy Behar
00:36:47.600 is the meanest woman alive?
00:36:51.500 You know,
00:36:52.140 it's so funny.
00:36:52.940 I worked with her
00:36:53.840 for a long time
00:36:55.100 and she,
00:36:56.180 she was,
00:36:57.180 she was nice offset.
00:36:58.360 I don't know.
00:36:58.820 Do you have any experience
00:36:59.680 personally with her?
00:37:00.800 Oh, zero.
00:37:01.560 Okay.
00:37:01.840 So I know.
00:37:02.880 I mean,
00:37:03.400 I was on the show.
00:37:04.980 Okay.
00:37:05.460 But,
00:37:05.980 and she was vicious
00:37:07.840 on and off air.
00:37:09.580 Oh, really?
00:37:10.040 Oh, yeah.
00:37:11.080 During the commercials,
00:37:12.540 she would continue
00:37:13.780 to dig at me.
00:37:14.740 You're a despicable person.
00:37:16.600 Really?
00:37:16.760 I was like,
00:37:17.480 wow.
00:37:18.560 So what I've discovered
00:37:19.640 about people in general
00:37:21.900 and left-wing media
00:37:22.860 is that
00:37:23.660 they like you
00:37:24.940 if they think
00:37:26.400 they can control you
00:37:27.480 and the second
00:37:28.060 they realize
00:37:28.840 that you can't be pushed around
00:37:30.000 or you're not going to be a meme.
00:37:31.320 You're not going to be
00:37:32.400 the conservative
00:37:33.680 who comes on
00:37:35.020 and loves mandates.
00:37:36.640 Right.
00:37:36.820 Or the conservative
00:37:37.940 who comes on
00:37:38.920 and the reason you're invited on
00:37:39.960 is because you hate,
00:37:40.960 you're a never-Trumper.
00:37:42.260 Right.
00:37:42.440 I mean,
00:37:42.540 the guy could like,
00:37:43.760 you know,
00:37:44.260 have a conversation with Jesus
00:37:46.160 and reveal something amazing about
00:37:47.660 and no,
00:37:48.180 you hate him anyway.
00:37:49.440 Yeah.
00:37:49.780 You know,
00:37:50.080 that's your,
00:37:51.320 then you're welcome
00:37:52.200 into the club.
00:37:53.120 Right.
00:37:53.260 You know,
00:37:53.640 but if you are not that
00:37:55.060 and you're someone
00:37:55.820 who stands up,
00:37:57.500 who stands firm,
00:37:58.440 then you instantly
00:37:59.280 become the enemy
00:37:59.960 and that's where the nastiness
00:38:00.980 comes out.
00:38:01.480 I think across the board,
00:38:02.900 you know,
00:38:03.280 I always remember
00:38:04.380 whenever I would,
00:38:05.380 you know,
00:38:05.940 say something
00:38:06.540 that someone on the left liked,
00:38:08.400 I would be very hesitant
00:38:09.420 to,
00:38:10.240 you know,
00:38:10.660 take that praise
00:38:11.740 because I know what's,
00:38:12.780 I know where it's headed.
00:38:14.420 And you know,
00:38:14.920 what's horrible
00:38:15.920 is we have created
00:38:17.600 a situation
00:38:18.240 to where a lot of people
00:38:19.640 don't want to say
00:38:21.180 good things
00:38:22.320 about the other side
00:38:23.780 because they know
00:38:25.640 it will be taken
00:38:26.800 by somebody
00:38:28.420 and exploited.
00:38:31.560 And so you,
00:38:32.200 you can't,
00:38:33.040 you can't even have
00:38:34.560 conversations with people,
00:38:36.040 you know,
00:38:36.940 in,
00:38:37.480 in,
00:38:37.820 in open air
00:38:38.540 because somebody
00:38:39.120 will either hear it
00:38:40.160 and say,
00:38:41.160 you're a sellout
00:38:42.120 or somebody else
00:38:43.260 will hear it
00:38:43.920 and say,
00:38:44.800 you know,
00:38:45.700 look,
00:38:47.460 they're finally
00:38:48.320 on our side.
00:38:49.260 And it's like,
00:38:49.920 I don't have a side.
00:38:50.860 I have the truth.
00:38:51.700 That's my side.
00:38:52.660 So I think that's
00:38:53.240 a really important point
00:38:54.220 that you're making right now.
00:38:55.240 And you use the word conversation
00:38:56.820 and that's something
00:38:57.800 that has really ceased
00:38:58.840 to exist in many circles.
00:38:59.980 It's not,
00:39:00.560 that's why I got
00:39:01.380 into the business originally.
00:39:02.380 I said,
00:39:03.000 great,
00:39:03.280 I want to have a conversation
00:39:04.440 with people
00:39:05.180 who see the world differently,
00:39:06.340 who people,
00:39:06.760 with people who see
00:39:07.360 the world similarly,
00:39:08.200 let's figure it out.
00:39:09.500 Let's sit down
00:39:10.220 and figure it out.
00:39:10.940 That is not the priority now.
00:39:12.840 Now the priority
00:39:13.760 is not having
00:39:14.680 that conversation.
00:39:15.360 It's you're either with me
00:39:16.800 or you're against me.
00:39:18.400 People don't listen.
00:39:19.560 I mean,
00:39:19.720 you couldn't even sit
00:39:20.620 and do this really.
00:39:22.240 It's talking point driven.
00:39:23.680 It's time constraints.
00:39:24.860 It's Democrat,
00:39:25.560 Republican,
00:39:26.040 go fight.
00:39:26.980 Oh,
00:39:27.180 we got our clip.
00:39:27.900 Great.
00:39:28.180 End of story.
00:39:29.260 It's boring
00:39:30.260 and it's also useless.
00:39:32.060 It is.
00:39:32.640 So,
00:39:33.200 and even on shows
00:39:34.600 like The View,
00:39:35.220 which I did,
00:39:35.760 you know,
00:39:35.920 that used to be a space
00:39:37.060 where I felt like
00:39:38.020 diversity of thought,
00:39:39.520 even though it was just
00:39:40.220 one seat,
00:39:40.940 truthfully,
00:39:41.380 that brought a different opinion,
00:39:42.420 that one seat had a voice.
00:39:43.920 And increasingly,
00:39:44.720 I'm seeing that
00:39:45.420 that's not the case.
00:39:46.600 No.
00:39:47.060 That it's,
00:39:47.760 that's vanished.
00:39:48.240 They destroy that seat.
00:39:50.920 Destroy that.
00:39:51.580 I know.
00:39:51.940 I know.
00:39:52.240 And it's sad to me
00:39:53.080 because if the goal here
00:39:54.840 is as a country
00:39:56.360 to do better,
00:39:58.000 then you have to,
00:39:58.980 you have to talk.
00:39:59.980 You have to be able to sit.
00:40:01.400 And you and I,
00:40:01.880 I'm sure,
00:40:02.340 agree a lot on policy,
00:40:03.800 but I'm sure there's stuff
00:40:04.600 that we don't agree on.
00:40:05.440 Of course there is.
00:40:06.080 Because we're thinking people.
00:40:07.540 We're free thinking people,
00:40:08.420 which also is a thing
00:40:09.420 that has ceased to exist
00:40:10.260 in media.
00:40:11.440 But we could sit
00:40:13.120 and have a conversation.
00:40:13.900 That's,
00:40:14.380 that's really happening
00:40:15.440 in very,
00:40:16.300 very few places.
00:40:17.540 Is,
00:40:18.040 is this the first time
00:40:18.840 you've been to the
00:40:19.720 Blaze headquarters
00:40:20.520 since New York?
00:40:22.060 Yes,
00:40:22.360 I was,
00:40:22.720 I've never been here
00:40:23.640 at all,
00:40:24.160 actually.
00:40:24.740 In fact,
00:40:25.300 when I got hired.
00:40:26.620 It's a little different
00:40:26.740 than the little basement
00:40:27.420 we had in New York.
00:40:28.340 It's so cool.
00:40:29.440 I feel like I'm on,
00:40:30.360 and it's funny,
00:40:30.820 I grew up on a performing arts house
00:40:32.740 and my mom taught acting.
00:40:34.280 So I walk in here
00:40:35.040 and I'm like,
00:40:35.560 I feel like I'm home.
00:40:37.240 Yeah.
00:40:38.120 It's a really cool place.
00:40:39.160 It's very cool.
00:40:39.740 Really cool.
00:40:40.440 And I know you were trying
00:40:41.140 to do that.
00:40:41.580 Listen,
00:40:41.800 we had real news
00:40:42.620 back in the day.
00:40:43.480 It was like 12 years ago.
00:40:44.740 Which was the best show
00:40:47.260 I think the Blaze
00:40:48.680 has ever produced.
00:40:50.000 And smart.
00:40:51.300 So smart.
00:40:52.320 I got smarter
00:40:52.900 on that show.
00:40:53.720 Yeah,
00:40:54.080 me too.
00:40:54.400 I did.
00:40:54.620 I got smarter
00:40:55.140 by being on that show.
00:40:56.020 It was a brilliant,
00:40:57.380 brilliant show.
00:40:58.160 It seems like everybody
00:40:58.940 who was on that show
00:40:59.800 went on to really big things
00:41:01.180 after it.
00:41:01.820 Yeah.
00:41:02.040 Like,
00:41:02.260 I mean,
00:41:02.840 they all left us
00:41:03.720 to do it.
00:41:04.400 Obviously,
00:41:05.040 which is smart.
00:41:06.140 Which is great.
00:41:06.880 I mean,
00:41:07.040 I love the fact
00:41:08.000 that I can watch things
00:41:09.460 and go,
00:41:09.960 oh,
00:41:10.400 she started there,
00:41:11.780 he started there,
00:41:12.800 he started there.
00:41:13.640 I just did a segment
00:41:14.180 with Buck the other day
00:41:14.980 and we talk about it
00:41:15.720 all the time.
00:41:16.580 And you had just left.
00:41:18.040 When I started at Real News,
00:41:19.500 I was like,
00:41:20.120 oh,
00:41:20.280 great.
00:41:20.800 Where's Glenn?
00:41:21.340 And they were like,
00:41:21.740 Glenn's gone.
00:41:22.500 I was like,
00:41:22.840 what's going on?
00:41:24.540 You were here setting up
00:41:26.440 this beautiful space.
00:41:29.000 But it started,
00:41:29.920 Real News was,
00:41:30.740 when I got in,
00:41:31.700 I was like,
00:41:32.260 okay,
00:41:32.640 we're having a conversation.
00:41:34.120 And I quickly realized
00:41:35.360 in media
00:41:36.540 that that's just not
00:41:37.680 what's desired
00:41:38.440 most of the time.
00:41:39.600 And if you're
00:41:39.960 a free-thinking person,
00:41:41.600 you kind of don't know,
00:41:42.740 you're like,
00:41:43.120 where do I fit?
00:41:44.540 You know?
00:41:45.240 Well,
00:41:45.520 I hope that you decide
00:41:47.040 to move down to Texas
00:41:47.920 and I hope we see
00:41:48.560 more of you.
00:41:49.140 Yes.
00:41:49.600 Sounds great.
00:41:50.280 Jedediah Abila,
00:41:51.640 she is the author
00:41:52.500 of Dear Hartley
00:41:53.680 and she's formerly
00:41:55.720 here at The Blaze
00:41:56.640 and also The View.
00:41:58.420 Na, na, na, na.
