00:01:21.780 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:01:36.300 Well, hello.

00:01:37.960 How are you?

00:01:39.100 Glenn really pumped up about that wonderful, joyful convention last night.

00:01:44.880 It was so joyful, so united, you know.

00:01:48.600 There's no problems.

00:01:50.640 They made it very clear this week, too, that Donald Trump is an anti-Semite.

00:01:56.860 Joy.

00:01:57.140 But they're not.

00:01:57.760 That's joy.

00:01:58.340 Yeah, they—

00:01:58.940 That's joy.

00:01:59.800 You're just explaining how you express joy.

00:02:02.240 Yeah.

00:02:02.520 That's when you say the other people that are your opponents are anti-Semites.

00:02:05.840 That's how you express joy.

00:02:06.900 Yeah, the other thing that I've noticed is—and this is really exciting—a month ago, the Democrats and Kamala Harris was telling us that the economy is fine, that there's no problem with the economy.

00:02:24.460 In fact, you don't get it if you think there's a problem.

00:02:28.580 You know, you have more money, you just don't notice it.

00:02:33.160 You know, somehow or another, you're missing that.

00:02:35.260 So there was no problem with the economy.

00:02:38.160 And now the same people, including Kamala Harris, are telling us, yeah, there is a problem, but we're going to fix it.

00:02:47.340 That's a—that's—I mean—

00:02:49.420 Well, basically, Glenn, biodynamics is working.

00:02:54.260 And it is working in a way to present an opportunity for Kamala Harris to fix the economy. 1.00

00:03:01.200 That's how it's working.

00:03:03.080 Right.

00:03:04.460 Okay.

00:03:05.260 It doesn't—ha.

00:03:07.460 That's interesting, because it doesn't really work.

00:03:10.220 I mean, the lies that they tell, and they expect us to swallow.

00:03:16.540 And if people do swallow these things, if it really turns out that she wins with all of these lies, I don't know how I can handle it.

00:03:29.560 This is terrifying.

00:03:30.340 I really don't.

00:03:31.280 If you're in this same position that I'm in right now, this is—this is—we're in serious trouble as a country, because that's all I keep thinking about when I'm watching this.

00:03:39.500 Yeah.

00:03:40.420 This entire convention is one gigantic lie broken up into a bunch of different speakers. 0.81

00:03:46.960 And this lie that they're joyful after spending year after year after year saying that their opponents were fascists and dictators that were going to go through and arrest all gay people in the country and put them in camps. 0.56

00:04:02.440 This is the joyful party, and they keep saying the word freedom over and over again. 0.74

00:04:08.660 Yeah.

00:04:09.580 As if this party is based on anything that could possibly be translated as freedom, it's the exact opposite.

00:04:18.900 I have to tell you, it is—it's so frustrating because I said when Kamala was chosen, well, this will be good because we can finally have, hey, big government, socialism, you know, universal health care, the experts are in control of everything, versus, no, small government, you're in charge. 0.98

00:04:40.880 You know, mind your own damn business. 0.97

00:04:43.360 I— 0.99

00:04:44.300 And what they've done is they are accusing the Republicans for everything that they've already done and are going to do more of.

00:04:57.320 And they're saying that they're the freedom party.

00:05:01.180 They're the small government. 1.00

00:05:03.660 Last night, Walls said, mind your own damn business. 0.99

00:05:10.420 It's not the government's place. 1.00

00:05:13.560 Wait, you put a snitch line together.

00:05:16.900 Yep, for COVID.

00:05:18.400 Yep, for people to call and report their neighbors for when their business was out of line. 0.99

00:05:25.760 But this is the mind your own damn business guy. 0.94

00:05:28.520 I mean, the one upside you could find from watching this convention is it's quite clear everyone realizes the Republican message is actually the popular one. 0.99

00:05:40.420 Because all they're doing is saying the things that conservatives actually believe.

00:05:45.520 Now, they're lying about the fact that they're going to do them.

00:05:48.980 Correct.

00:05:49.160 But they said—I mean, I went through some of this.

00:05:51.240 They said their main platform policies last night, middle-class tax cuts.

00:05:59.080 Now, look, that's a conservative proposal, obviously.

00:06:04.360 Tax cuts are a conservative issue, but they're trying to take that.

00:06:07.800 They want to take on big pharma.

00:06:10.520 Are you kidding me?

00:06:12.180 You just spent multiple years saying everyone would lose their jobs if they didn't take a particular product from Pfizer or Moderna.

00:06:21.000 What do you mean you're going to take on big pharma?

00:06:23.540 How can you possibly be saying that after what you've done over the past few years?

00:06:28.000 They're going to—they want to give you freedom to live the life you want to lead.

00:06:35.580 Now, look, we have differing views as to what government is supposed to do, okay, as conservatives and progressives.

00:06:44.300 Progressives have a philosophy that at some level, while awful and, in my view, evil, it is rational, which is, look, there are really smart people in the world.

00:06:57.000 And those people who have more experience and more knowledge than you should be put in control and in charge of making basic decisions for you.

00:07:06.540 What do you drive?

00:07:07.900 What kind of air conditioning do you have?

00:07:09.520 How big is your home?

00:07:10.520 What kind of stove do you have?

00:07:12.020 All of these types of things are decisions that they can make for you.

00:07:17.280 What kind of electricity?

00:07:18.560 How is that being generated for you?

00:07:20.260 We'll make that decision for you.

00:07:21.940 But we're going to need a bunch more of your money to be able to put all this infrastructure together, and we'll make those decisions for you.

00:07:28.880 We will control the aspects of the life, of your life, that you can't handle.

00:07:33.960 You can't make all these decisions.

00:07:35.380 It's too difficult.

00:07:36.040 And this is go back to Philip Drew, Administrator, Glenn's favorite reference, Woodrow Wilson's favorite book.

00:07:41.240 This is the idea.

00:07:43.380 You put experts in control.

00:07:45.020 Anthony Fauci is a great example of this.

00:07:47.100 You put a guy like that in control.

00:07:49.220 He will tell you whether you go to work or not.

00:07:52.280 That's how this works for them.

00:07:54.480 And while I don't agree with the philosophy, it is a coherent philosophy of government.

00:07:58.860 And honestly, a much more common one throughout world history.

00:08:02.960 If you go back and look, the natural state of man is to be controlled by their betters.

00:08:09.320 That's how this has worked forever, and it is their philosophy.

00:08:12.660 But what they are pitching at this convention is our philosophy.

00:08:17.200 No, you just make your own decisions.

00:08:18.780 You choose what you want to do with your life.

00:08:20.540 You screw it up.

00:08:21.220 You kind of do it. 1.00

00:08:22.000 Mind your own damn business. 1.00

00:08:23.200 Stay out of my health care. 1.00

00:08:25.400 I want to just make my decisions with my doctor.

00:08:27.800 These are all our arguments, and they're just saying them and then backing them up with policies that do the exact opposite. 1.00

00:08:35.520 And if the American people are this dumb, if they are so stupid that they fall for this, we deserve everything we get from it. 1.00

00:08:44.100 We do. 1.00

00:08:44.660 We do.

00:08:45.360 We do.

00:08:45.680 Can we get cut 16 from Tim Walls last night?

00:08:50.780 Here's an example of exactly what Stu is talking about.

00:08:56.000 Here's Tim Walls last night.

00:08:57.040 They'll start jacking up the costs on the middle class. 0.85

00:08:59.080 They'll repeal the Affordable Care Act.

00:09:02.680 They'll gut Social Security and Medicare.

00:09:05.880 Come on.

00:09:07.160 And they will ban abortion across this country with or without Congress.

00:09:12.020 Okay, stop.

00:09:12.820 Now, the Supreme Court said that it is the decision of the states.

00:09:22.640 Donald Trump is so very clear.

00:09:25.860 In fact, he has pissed off a lot of people by saying, you know what?

00:09:30.540 I'm just going to leave it up the states.

00:09:32.500 He's not going to ban abortion.

00:09:35.780 No.

00:09:35.880 He is not going to jack up prices for the middle class. 0.98

00:09:41.060 That is so ridiculous. 0.95

00:09:42.420 Let me ask you. 0.97

00:09:45.040 The price of groceries four years ago when Donald Trump was president, okay, we have for the

00:09:52.440 first time a way to compare.

00:09:55.560 First time in my life.

00:09:56.900 I know what this president will do.

00:09:59.800 I know what the next president is going to do because they've both been in the White House.

00:10:06.520 Okay?

00:10:07.200 First time in my life.

00:10:08.540 They've both been in the White House.

00:10:10.640 So, you just have to A, B, compare.

00:10:13.480 Were you better off four years ago?

00:10:18.460 Did you have more freedom?

00:10:20.400 Or was it more scary back then?

00:10:25.020 Did you think the government was going to come and get you?

00:10:29.480 Don't talk to me about your feelings.

00:10:33.360 Don't talk to me about what people said they were going to do.

00:10:38.780 What did he do?

00:10:41.360 What did he do?

00:10:43.260 What are these guys doing?

00:10:46.200 Here's another one.

00:10:47.380 You want to talk about jacking up prices?

00:10:49.280 Cut 20.

00:10:50.360 Here's Tim Walz talking about health and housing.

00:10:54.060 That's how we'll build a country where workers come first. 1.00

00:10:59.440 Health care and housing are human rights.

00:11:04.300 Excuse me.

00:11:05.140 And the government stays the hell out of your bedroom.

00:11:10.480 Stop.

00:11:11.520 Stop.

00:11:12.160 Listen to that.

00:11:13.020 Listen to that.

00:11:14.480 So, health and housing are human rights.

00:11:18.560 We've moved past health care is a human right, which it is not.

00:11:23.260 Okay?

00:11:24.440 A human right is what you're born with.

00:11:27.860 There's, you were never promised a doctor.

00:11:32.180 Okay?

00:11:32.780 It is a very nice luxury that we in the West have had for a very long time.

00:11:40.440 But it's not a human right.

00:11:42.160 Housing is not a human right. 0.54

00:11:44.980 Now, this is horrible to say because you want everybody to be taken care of.

00:11:49.820 You want everybody to have, you know, a roof over their head.

00:11:52.780 Every child be fed.

00:11:54.660 I get that.

00:11:56.280 But if you make it a human right, then what has to happen?

00:12:00.500 Then the government must guarantee.

00:12:03.980 This is the Soviet Constitution.

00:12:06.620 So you know, he's quoting from the Soviet Constitution.

00:12:12.800 A communist country.

00:12:14.760 If it's a human right, then the government must guarantee it.

00:12:20.480 The government must provide housing and health.

00:12:26.760 We told you.

00:12:28.860 No, let me take it to them.

00:12:30.960 They told you that if we have Obamacare, it will be fixed.

00:12:36.120 If we have Obamacare, you will save the average family $1,000 a year.

00:12:43.920 Have you saved any money since Obamacare?

00:12:46.460 Has it gone up or has it gone down in price?

00:12:49.900 Is it easier to get health care or harder to get health care?

00:12:54.220 Did you get to keep your doctor?

00:12:56.260 Did you get to keep your insurance?

00:12:59.040 Kamala Harris is on record, clearly saying,

00:13:03.520 we've got to move away from this private health care.

00:13:08.020 It's got to go public.

00:13:09.660 Just get away from the insurance companies and everything else.

00:13:12.740 The government needs to take care of it.

00:13:14.620 Of course she says that.

00:13:16.400 Her running mate is quoting the Soviet Constitution.

00:13:21.860 And then he follows it with,

00:13:23.520 and government, get out of your bedroom. 1.00

00:13:25.500 The government is going to be in everything.

00:13:29.040 If the government takes over housing and health care,

00:13:33.380 they will be everywhere.

00:13:42.080 Then Bill Clinton took the stage.

00:13:44.620 Boy, did you just see him shaking badly?

00:13:48.940 That's not a pretty picture.

00:13:50.460 Let's go to cut 29, please.

00:13:54.200 Brutal, tough business.

00:13:57.360 I want you to be happy.

00:14:00.960 One of the reasons that President-to-be Harris

00:14:06.200 is doing so well is that we're all so happy.

00:14:10.300 I mean, if you believe, come on. 1.00

00:14:21.120 How stupid can you be to believe this nonsense? 1.00

00:14:25.180 I mean, this is, the reports are that he rewrote the speech 1.00

00:14:28.980 because he wanted to reflect the joy of the evening.

00:14:33.540 It's embarrassing.

00:14:34.820 And then the media is repeating it.

00:14:37.440 It's like they decided they wanted joy to be their banner,

00:14:41.500 their little advertisement for what they're doing.

00:14:43.780 And so they all just started saying it themselves.

00:14:46.140 And then they all told reporters this is what they were going for.

00:14:49.700 Any self-respecting reporter that would use the word joy in context with this

00:14:55.480 is an embarrassment to their jobs.

00:14:57.720 This is exactly what they want you to say is how joyful they are.

00:15:02.100 And I have heard it come out of the mouth, not just of Democrats,

00:15:04.960 and not just of people going and trying to be elected,

00:15:07.420 but by journalist after journalist after journalist who's saying,

00:15:10.440 what we're seeing here is such a joyful, such a joyful spectacle,

00:15:16.120 such a joyful patriotism.

00:15:18.840 This is different than what you're seeing at the Republican.

00:15:21.200 This is joyful.

00:15:22.320 How can you say those words after all of these hacks in the Democratic establishment 0.96

00:15:29.400 have leaked the word to you unless you are just a mindless robot

00:15:35.580 repeating the talking points of the party you want to win

00:15:39.180 with no ounces of self-respect nearby?

00:15:44.460 You would just, even if you wanted to say the same thing,

00:15:47.040 you'd come up with a different way to say it.

00:15:48.700 They're saying the exact same words.

00:15:50.760 And so much of this goes back to the fact that this party is certain 1.00

00:15:54.700 that the American people are dumb. 1.00

00:15:56.980 They're certain of it. 1.00

00:15:58.120 They know it for a fact in their minds.

00:16:01.240 And if they are right, we deserve everything we get here.

00:16:06.000 I, uh, those journalists that are doing that, I pity them.

00:16:10.660 I pity them.

00:16:11.360 Really?

00:16:11.980 What a miserable life they are leading.

00:16:14.620 Yes, that's true.

00:16:15.540 Living in that kind of life, there's one thing that you are not,

00:16:18.900 and that's joyful.

00:16:20.760 Uh, let me give you something else that just, just makes my eyes bleed.

00:16:25.600 This is from Michelle Obama.

00:16:26.920 Cut 55, please. 0.96

00:16:29.240 Um, that here she is talking about, uh, her, her family.

00:16:36.100 And, you know, they didn't trust rich people.

00:16:39.200 That anyone can succeed if given the opportunity, she and my father didn't aspire to be wealthy.

00:16:48.640 In fact, they were suspicious of folks who took more than they needed.

00:16:53.400 They understood that it wasn't enough for their kids to thrive if everyone else around us was drowning.

00:17:03.000 You know, I could handle this.

00:17:05.520 I could handle this.

00:17:07.280 If she didn't just take three quarters of a million dollars to give a speech recently. 1.00

00:17:15.160 Three quarters of a million dollars to give a speech.

00:17:20.100 Now, God bless America.

00:17:22.760 If there are people out there that want to pay to listen to her three quarters of a million dollars, great. 1.00

00:17:29.100 She should take it.

00:17:30.200 But don't lecture me about taking more than you need.

00:17:35.040 I think that's probably more than you need.

00:17:38.440 Well, then again, maybe not because you have four houses.

00:17:42.520 You have three people in your family.

00:17:44.720 So, I guess the fourth house is a vacation house.

00:17:48.480 You know, and everybody lives in a separate mansion.

00:17:52.360 But don't lecture me.

00:17:54.280 She actually said that, you know, we're not part of that trust fund thing.

00:17:59.860 You just gave your daughter over 10 million dollars in a trust fund.

00:18:06.440 So, please, and how did you make your money?

00:18:09.860 How did you make your money?

00:18:11.060 You were poor when you went into the White House.

00:18:14.760 You were complaining about how you couldn't pay your student loans.

00:18:19.420 You were poor.

00:18:20.940 You are now worth over 70 million dollars.

00:18:25.020 How did you make that money?

00:18:28.460 Was that in the private sector?

00:18:31.760 Or was that in the public sector?

00:18:34.400 Did you make that money because you were connected to government?

00:18:39.860 Because you were president?

00:18:42.240 Because you were first lady? 1.00

00:18:44.940 Three quarters of a million dollars.

00:18:47.220 Please, don't tell me about how people just have to share.

00:18:51.940 They just have to know when enough is enough.

00:18:54.580 How much is enough for you, Michelle?

00:18:58.480 How much is enough for you, Barack?

00:19:04.160 How much?

00:19:04.920 Just give me a number.

00:19:06.500 Just give me a number.

00:19:08.000 70 million seems great.

00:19:10.680 Now, I would like to be able to strive to make more than that in my lifetime.

00:19:16.180 But I'm just a greedy capitalist.

00:19:20.020 You only need 70 million. 0.95

00:19:21.940 So sick.

00:19:27.600 I mean, what is the world going to look like in six months from now?

00:19:34.340 I have no idea.

00:19:35.740 Do you?

00:19:37.820 We could be in civil war.

00:19:40.040 England is on the verge of it right now.

00:19:42.140 What is that going to mean for our dollar?

00:19:44.080 What is that going to mean for the economy?

00:19:46.520 It's not going to mean anything good.

00:19:49.520 Please, difficult times are ahead.

00:20:33.620 800-957-GOLD.

00:20:36.900 Now back to the podcast.

00:20:38.820 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck Program.

00:20:43.680 So he had a busy schedule, but we wanted to get him on the program today.

00:20:52.080 So J.D. Vance and I spoke earlier this morning so he could get on the road.

00:20:58.640 And we talked about the convention for the Democrats and the vision.

00:21:06.360 Here's what happened.

00:21:06.940 When you see that they say they have a bold vision for America, have you heard that vision yet?

00:21:17.360 No, I really haven't, Glenn.

00:21:18.960 And here's the weird thing about all this is you have the entire Democratic campaign running on a kind of collective amnesia

00:21:27.340 where they say that Kamala Harris will do this thing on day one or Kamala Harris has a vision to accomplish that thing.

00:21:34.680 And then you realize that Kamala Harris has been the vice president for three and a half years.

00:21:38.740 And she has affirmatively made all of these problems worse, not better, during her time in office, right?

00:21:45.700 So you can't say Kamala Harris is going to secure the border because she opened it up.

00:21:49.380 You can't say Kamala Harris is going to lower inflation because she cast a deciding vote on programs that increased inflation. 1.00

00:21:55.840 So I think that this is just not something that the American people buy.

00:22:00.200 And final observation, Glenn, and again, I haven't seen the whole thing, but there's a lot of talk about unity.

00:22:08.800 And I remember the old editor's trope of show, don't tell.

00:22:12.600 So they're telling a lot about unity, but they're actually in their the rest of their remarks.

00:22:17.560 They're showing a very dark vision of half the country where they basically say, if you vote for Donald Trump because you want to change in this country's direction, you're a bad person. 0.55

00:22:28.580 And if you don't see that he's anti-immigrant and anti-black and anti-woman, then you're a bad person.

00:22:35.720 You can't win an election telling Americans that they're bad people because they want to pay lower costs for groceries and housing.

00:22:41.840 You win an election by persuading people.

00:22:43.740 And I haven't seen a whole lot of that at the DNC.

00:22:45.800 But I wonder, though, with the power of the press in lockstep like they are.

00:22:52.620 I've never seen anything like this.

00:22:54.280 I mean, for instance, it was the Democrats that were are now saying that Kamala is going to fix the economy.

00:23:01.900 But it's those same Democrats that were telling us a month ago that you're a conspiracy theorist or you just don't get it if you think the economy is bad because the economy is fine.

00:23:12.480 So how do you win and get your argument heard when 80 percent of the news is bad on you and 88 percent on them is great?

00:23:28.900 You know, I think we just have to keep on telling our story and telling the truth, Glenn.

00:23:34.200 And that's something we do through paid media, commercials, digital advertising and so forth.

00:23:39.220 And it's something we do in the mainstream media, even though they're not fair.

00:23:42.980 You know, I did five interviews last night with NBC, ABC, CNN, CBS and so forth.

00:23:47.660 And I think that the one thing that really differentiates President Trump and me from our opponents is we're willing to take our message to hostile media.

00:23:56.060 And so, yeah, they're going to be critical of what we say afterwards.

00:23:58.560 But we're at least able to get the message out there because we're willing to engage.

00:24:02.900 And, you know, Glenn, you raise a really important point here, which is that if you're an American citizen, you've paid attention to this election.

00:24:10.600 You'd be forgiven for having a headache from the ricocheting message of the Democratic Party.

00:24:15.440 A month ago, it was the Biden economy was great. 0.98

00:24:18.720 Don't believe your lying eyes. 0.89

00:24:20.620 Just vote for Joe Biden. 0.95

00:24:22.160 And now it's, yes, the economy is terrible.

00:24:24.860 But Kamala Harris, who's been vice president for three and a half years, is going to come in and fix the whole thing. 1.00

00:24:29.600 It just doesn't make sense.

00:24:32.060 Let me let me switch to I know you're going to be in Georgia today and you're going to be talking about crime and the border.

00:24:38.280 But if you look at every single Western country, especially England, Sweden, Germany, France, every one of them have a problem with what they call refugees.

00:24:52.680 I would call them illegal aliens. 1.00

00:24:54.960 And people are noticing that they're destroying the culture, the finances.

00:25:00.420 Crime is skyrocketing.

00:25:02.100 This isn't a Biden-Harris problem alone.

00:25:05.740 This seems to be happening in every Western country.

00:25:09.640 Is this the result of a of a global deep state?

00:25:13.920 Well, I think it's certainly the result of a very suicidal set of ideas, which suggests that if you want to have any control on immigration in your own country, you are a bad person.

00:25:27.180 You're a racist, et cetera, et cetera.

00:25:29.200 And what this has led to is European nations and, of course, the United States being unwilling to control our borders when at least half of our political leadership just doesn't believe in it.

00:25:40.660 And I think that we just have to get back to some basic common sense here.

00:25:45.960 You don't hate anybody, but you don't necessarily want the entire world to become part of your country.

00:25:50.940 And you may even believe that a country can assimilate some measure of immigration, but that doesn't mean you can have everybody, right? 1.00

00:26:01.440 It's one thing for the United States to take in a few hundred thousand people.

00:26:04.840 It's another thing to take in three million people.

00:26:06.960 And it's another thing to take in 30 million people, which is probably the current best estimate of the number of illegal aliens we have.

00:26:12.800 And it's just preposterous to me that Democrats don't acknowledge this basic reality.

00:26:18.460 And, yes, you're right.

00:26:19.260 Whether it's in Europe or the United States, it's led to higher crime.

00:26:22.960 It's led to a lot of innocent victims that don't need to have suffered what they've suffered.

00:26:27.900 And it's led, I think, really to a real backlash against our leaders, and justifiably so.

00:26:37.220 Let me take you to the Secret Service for a second.

00:26:40.980 Yesterday, the New York Post reported that he was using encrypted messaging, and he had accounts on various platforms located in Belgium, New Zealand, and Germany.

00:26:55.920 It's been a month.

00:26:58.580 Are you and President Trump satisfied with the investigation and the way it's going and the information that we have and haven't gotten?

00:27:09.400 No, certainly not.

00:27:11.980 I know I'm not.

00:27:13.040 And I will say this as somebody who newly has a Secret Service detail, and I think the guys that I've worked with are just the consummate professionals.

00:27:21.020 They're great people, and they're doing a good job.

00:27:23.460 There clearly needs to be some better understanding of what broke about the leadership in the wake of President Trump's assassination attempt.

00:27:33.480 And, you know, this is, frankly, on Congress.

00:27:36.400 It's on Chuck Schumer's United States Senate, and it's on the Biden administration to get to the bottom of what mistakes were made, right?

00:27:42.800 Maybe the mistakes were not intentional.

00:27:44.920 You never know, of course, until you do the actual investigation.

00:27:47.400 But you have to have a real investigation.

00:27:49.980 And if I'm looking at this from the perspective of America's citizens, I'd be demanding that Kamala Harris, who's the Vice President of the United States, actually gets to the bottom of this and empowers her government to do a real investigation that just has not happened yet.

00:28:05.340 You know, you would think that every politician would be interested in this, especially if you have Secret Service protection.

00:28:13.660 If it is just a flawed system and a series of just bad calls and mistakes, your life is at stake.

00:28:22.980 And you would think that everyone would be interested in making sure that, you know, no mistakes were made again.

00:28:33.320 That's exactly right.

00:28:34.080 I mean, again, you don't know, was it a couple guys who screwed up?

00:28:36.980 Was it something more systematic?

00:28:38.600 Was it something about the processes or the procedures?

00:28:41.360 These are the sorts of things where, you know, we always believe in democratic government that sunshine is the best disinfectant.

00:28:48.460 And so we really do have to have, I think, a more honest accounting of what went wrong.

00:28:52.540 Obviously, some of the leadership has faced some pressure, but that's not really what we're talking about.

00:28:56.860 We're talking about a real investigation.

00:28:58.940 I know, you know, Ron Johnson, my colleague from Wisconsin, a great friend, has really looked into this aggressively.

00:29:05.100 He's trying to get to the bottom of it.

00:29:06.780 But when you're a minority senator in the minority party, there's only so much you can do.

00:29:11.400 Frankly, if Chuck Schumer and Kamala Harris made this a priority, we would know everything we needed to know a month from now.

00:29:17.780 It's interesting to me that RFK is coming on probably tomorrow and endorsing.

00:29:27.500 And then you also have Elon Musk saying that he would like a position to be, you know, in charge of cutting.

00:29:35.360 Is there serious discussion about Elon Musk coming on?

00:29:38.780 And with RFK, where do you think he would be best?

00:29:42.500 Yeah, so try not to put the cart too much before the horse with Elon, of course, because I think he's a genius and I think he could help us a great deal.

00:29:51.440 But we have to win the election first, of course, before we give Elon any positions or any titles here.

00:29:57.720 I think RFK really could do a lot for us on questions of, you know, we had 8,000 veterans, I believe, maybe more that we kicked out of the military because they refused to take a vaccine.

00:30:11.140 I mean, I'd love for RFK to take a look at that, but I haven't talked to him.

00:30:14.480 I don't know what he's interested in.

00:30:15.880 I think the best signal that RFK can send is, look, the Kennedy Democratic Party has transformed into the open borders, high inflation Kamala Harris Democratic Party.

00:30:27.640 And if you're like my grandparents, I mean, I was raised by blue dogs, socially conservative Democrats, Glenn.

00:30:32.400 If you're like my grandparents, the Kennedy Democrats are now going for Donald J. Trump and the Republicans.

00:30:39.380 And I think that's a powerful message to send to the American people, that the old Democratic Party was a great thing, a great institution.

00:30:46.160 We didn't have to agree with it all the time, but they were patriotic people.

00:30:49.480 They are no longer welcome in this crazy new thing that Kamala Harris is in charge of. 0.99

00:30:53.800 You know, I'm really appreciative that you came out and said nice things about your particular opponent who has been really raking you over the coals and everything else.

00:31:06.260 And that we had an honest conversation about actual politics and not nonsense.

00:31:11.440 And I think the American people appreciate that.

00:31:14.220 You know, I appreciate that, Glenn.

00:31:16.380 Yeah, I appreciate that, Glenn.

00:31:17.800 And look, I've certainly tried to keep this focused on policy.

00:31:20.380 Look, I mean, Tim Walsh has got some problems, clearly.

00:31:23.400 He's lied about his service record.

00:31:25.040 I think his integrity is very much in question here.

00:31:28.520 So there are certainly things that we should focus on in his record.

00:31:32.840 Fundamentally, the problem is not Tim Walsh.

00:31:35.360 It's Kamala Harris and the lack of judgment she selected or she showed in selecting a guy who's been dishonest about his service record.

00:31:41.900 And I think that we have to keep the pressure on Kamala Harris because the media is trying to lie about her.

00:31:46.540 We have to correct the record.

00:31:48.220 Well, thank you very much.

00:31:49.580 Stay safe and stay on the right track.

00:31:52.660 Thank you so much, J.D.

00:31:54.240 Thanks, Glenn.

00:31:54.880 See you.

00:31:57.460 You know, he also talked about that Kamala Harris is going to get us into a nuclear war.

00:32:04.660 And it is a little terrifying.

00:32:07.900 This is a very serious time in America.

00:32:12.660 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck Program.

00:32:19.580 Tucker Carlson, welcome to the program, sir.

00:32:22.180 How are you?

00:32:25.240 Tucker, are you there?

00:32:26.820 I'm right here.

00:32:27.520 Sorry.

00:32:28.100 I'm grateful to be here.

00:32:29.780 So thank you.

00:32:30.760 Yeah.

00:32:31.120 Thank you.

00:32:31.780 I'm excited to see you in, what is it?

00:32:35.660 September 7th, I think, in Salt Lake City.

00:32:39.380 It's so funny.

00:32:40.380 We're doing this tour and I'm thinking like, okay, I would love to bring people on.

00:32:44.780 I know all these smart people, but there aren't many people who can perform in front of a live audience.

00:32:50.480 It's a very different kind of person.

00:32:53.020 Anyway, you were literally the first person.

00:32:55.860 I thought, oh, man.

00:32:58.220 No, it's going to be fun.

00:32:59.400 Thank you for doing it.

00:32:59.620 It's really nice of you.

00:33:01.800 No, I appreciate the invite.

00:33:04.160 It's going to be fun.

00:33:05.140 It's going to be in Salt Lake City.

00:33:06.500 The Delta Center.

00:33:07.820 You know how many seats that has?

00:33:10.320 I have no idea.

00:33:11.520 Tucker?

00:33:11.980 I'm so overwhelmed by it.

00:33:13.300 I haven't looked.

00:33:14.380 Yeah, yeah, yeah.

00:33:15.280 It's big.

00:33:17.040 Yeah, it's big.

00:33:18.220 Delta Center, September 7th.

00:33:21.160 You can get the tickets at tuckercarlson.com, tuckercarlson.com.

00:33:25.740 So, Tucker, I haven't talked to you in a couple of weeks or a few weeks.

00:33:29.120 And I would love your overall take on the insanity that we have seen from the attempted assassination to today.

00:33:43.880 What are your thoughts?

00:33:44.820 I mean, it's what the hell is happening.

00:33:47.120 Actually, it really is like a car crash.

00:33:50.140 You know, everyone's been in a car.

00:33:51.580 Anyone who's been in a car crash or any kind of unexpected traumatic event knows it takes months to sort of reconstruct what happened.

00:33:59.320 That's how I feel about what we've seen in the past six weeks from the debate where it was just obvious four minutes in that Biden, that everything we suspected about Biden was true, that he could not continue, that he couldn't run the country, that he hadn't been running the country.

00:34:14.240 And that he would be taken off the ticket.

00:34:16.200 That was just immediately obvious to me.

00:34:17.980 Then watching the coordinated media response to that, where you realize, well, wait a second.

00:34:22.640 Dana Bash was in on this.

00:34:24.760 All her colleagues at CNN, MSNBC, like they had their marching orders.

00:34:28.840 They put them into effect.

00:34:29.920 And then you thought, well, wait, everything is fake.

00:34:33.740 And I think a lot of people had begun to suspect that over the last few years when it became clear, say the CIA was playing a meaningful role in our domestic elections.

00:34:42.580 Like that's, you know, no one really thought, no one, I'll speak for myself, I didn't really think that could be happening.

00:34:49.020 And I thought maybe only wackos thought it could happen, but then it turned out to be confirmed.

00:34:53.620 But when that debate happened and the media as one, acting as one, as they always do, basically kicked Joe Biden off the ticket in the first six minutes after the debate, you realized, wait a second.

00:35:08.320 Like there's a whole level of control of governance that immune from voters.

00:35:15.600 Like we have no, we have no role in this at all.

00:35:18.720 Voting just plays no role in this.

00:35:20.840 We're not privy to the plan.

00:35:24.400 And my gosh, you know, at the very deepest level, there is a conspiracy, maybe unarticulated, maybe a conspiracy of like-minded temperament or instinct or whatever.

00:35:33.120 But it's definitely coordinated to disempower the rest of us on behalf of like the people already in charge.

00:35:41.920 And then everything that happened since then confirmed it.

00:35:45.100 Trump, you know, the Biden administration allows Trump to get shot, whether intentionally or not.

00:35:49.400 It's kind of irrelevant.

00:35:50.860 They allowed it.

00:35:52.180 Having spent, you know, an awful lot of time at events with Secret Service, I know you have as well, over 30 years, that what they allowed to happen that day, you know, they allowed that.

00:36:01.240 So, and then you realize that Secret Service is corrupt.

00:36:04.260 So if you have a country where the Secret Service, the presidential bodyguard, the Praetorian Guard of the president is corrupt as a political instrument.

00:36:12.560 And it joins the CIA and FBI and the entire DOJ and ATF and, you know, every three-letter agency.

00:36:19.360 They're all working on behalf of a political party or the ruling cabal that controls that political party.

00:36:24.460 I mean, that is just so bewildering that you think, well, you know, what is true?

00:36:29.700 You know, what is this organization?

00:36:31.820 Who runs it?

00:36:32.740 Who's been running the government for the past four years?

00:36:35.020 Well, that's what I am.

00:36:35.980 That's what I am.

00:36:36.600 I have asked that question of everybody I know, and nobody seems to have an answer.

00:36:43.880 If you look at what's happening over in Europe with their illegal problem or their refugees and how the governments over there are responding to the people, 1.00

00:36:54.580 and you see it's exactly the same problems, it's exactly the same laws, the same responses, the same media response, and then you know that Joe Biden is incapable, who the hell has been the president?

00:37:10.360 Who is running this country?

00:37:13.240 Well, what you're seeing around the world is really not around the world.

00:37:17.320 It's just in traditionally Christian countries.

00:37:20.520 Yes.

00:37:20.800 It's in the West.

00:37:21.440 It's in Christendom.

00:37:22.440 It's not happening in Asia.

00:37:24.060 It's not happening in Singapore.

00:37:25.260 It's not happening in Lagos, Nigeria.

00:37:27.020 It's not happening, of course, in China or Japan.

00:37:29.620 These are still ethnostates. 0.97

00:37:31.440 No one can test their right to be that.

00:37:33.820 But it's happening in the historic homeland of Christianity from Scandinavia, really all the way to Hungary and Central Europe is kind of the border.

00:37:43.480 They held the line.

00:37:44.840 But everywhere else, Ireland.

00:37:46.480 I mean, what did Ireland do to deserve this?

00:37:48.760 But the same thing is happening everywhere.

00:37:50.620 And you think, well, is this a conspiracy?

00:37:54.240 Is it a manifestation of spiritual war?

00:37:57.180 That's my conclusion.

00:37:59.000 You know, I have no real evidence, but I don't see another explanation that makes sense.

00:38:02.460 I don't know.

00:38:03.080 But it's all happening at once.

00:38:04.400 It's, as you said, exactly the same thing.

00:38:06.140 It's much bigger than just, you know, the refugee agencies pushing people in because they're liberal and the media is supporting them because they're liberal, too.

00:38:13.860 This is the end of a civilization.

00:38:16.760 And, like, why?

00:38:18.440 Why would you want to destroy that civilization, which they are doing, and probably to the point where it kind of can't be fixed in any recognizable form, because demographics really is kind of the core question of a society.

00:38:30.920 Who lives in the country?

00:38:32.060 That's the basic question.

00:38:33.700 And I don't know.

00:38:36.640 I guess this is a very long answer to a short question, but I just would sum it up by saying it's so big, it's so bewildering, it's so distressing that it's kind of shut my brain down.

00:38:46.940 And I'm only now trying to figure out, you know, what do you do?

00:38:50.820 How do you respond to this?

00:38:53.040 What does it mean?

00:38:53.760 I don't want to.

00:38:54.260 I've been saying for the last couple of weeks, you know, as I saw this whole thing unfold and know how close we are to the edge, that this may be the last election, and I don't even know if it'll be free and fair, but it'll be the last election in the country as we know it or have known it.

00:39:18.600 And it's your kind of your last call.

00:39:21.300 I mean, if you vote for Harris-Biden, it is, or I mean, Harris-Walls, you're pulling the trigger of socialism and authoritarianism.

00:39:37.660 I mean, it's all there, and they're saying it out in the open.

00:39:41.800 And I'm hearing from 20-somethings that are saying, oh, you guys always say that it's going to be, you know, the most important election of your life.

00:39:49.840 And it's not that bad.

00:39:52.300 How bad is it, Tucker?

00:39:55.400 Well, I think it's – I don't think it's political, for one thing.

00:39:59.280 So I don't think it's even worth thinking in terms of, like, the election or whatever.

00:40:03.500 It's like the changes coming to the United States or in progress in the United States and in Western Europe, again, all the way to the Hungarian border, you know, sort of Austria-West, but also New Zealand, also Australia, also Canada, you know, the Anglosphere, the European world.

00:40:20.320 And, like, the changes are so big and so profound and permanent that, you know, I don't even – I don't really know anybody who fully understands what's going on.

00:40:32.660 And I spend my entire life trying to find people who do and talk to them.

00:40:36.360 So, you know, I don't know, but I think we should all be thinking in much, much bigger terms than we are.

00:40:44.480 I mean, I don't think the 2020 election was free and fair.

00:40:47.200 Of course, it wasn't.

00:40:48.320 You can't have a democracy with censorship by definition.

00:40:51.800 You don't have to even worry about electronic voting machines to know that was not a free and fair election.

00:40:56.000 If you don't have access to the information required to cast an informed vote, then the election is rigged.

00:41:01.540 I mean, just by definition, that's where the First Amendment is first, because it's a prerequisite for democracy.

00:41:07.000 So – and we don't have it now.

00:41:09.040 So – but why?

00:41:11.160 Like, what is this?

00:41:12.680 Why would you want to destroy Christendom, which is what they're doing?

00:41:18.120 And, well, because you hate Christianity is the answer.

00:41:21.080 And so those are the terms that I'm thinking of it in, because I think those are the correct terms.

00:41:25.800 And I've never been particularly religious or faithful.

00:41:29.420 I'm certainly not a model of Christian living. 0.99

00:41:31.340 That's for sure.

00:41:33.200 You know what I mean?

00:41:33.780 I'm going to go buy a tin of chewing tobacco this afternoon, and I can't wait.

00:41:36.300 So I'm not a virtuous person.

00:41:39.400 But I'm just – I try to be an analytical person and reach conclusions on the basis of the evidence that I can see, not the things I hear, but the things I see, because, you know, you can't disrupt your senses with lies.

00:41:52.740 Like, I'm just trying to be honest with myself.

00:41:54.360 And I see a total transformation of the historically Christian world, and I don't know how it shakes out. 1.00

00:42:02.160 But I know that the stakes are, you know, just couldn't be higher.

00:42:05.940 So, you know, preventing Kamala Harris and that incredibly creepy, you know, wrestling coach or football coach or that guy, guy, air quotes, running with her.

00:42:16.700 I mean, he's just – he, that guy, is just completely undisguised.

00:42:20.200 Like, I know exactly who that guy is, having been to boarding school.

00:42:23.220 That guy's creepy, period.

00:42:25.480 Yeah.

00:42:25.620 But anyway, the fact that they would even run somebody like that tells you what their agenda is.

00:42:31.680 It's like completely overturning the basis of civilization, which is the relationship between a man and a woman that produces children. 1.00

00:42:41.140 Like, that's the basis of all civilization, and they're trying to overturn that.

00:42:45.000 So you got a lot of heat on the Great Replacement Theory when you were at Fox.

00:42:50.860 And – a little bit of heat.

00:42:53.980 And there is – there's mounting evidence of this with some people, you know, online, you know, that are of a different race.

00:43:06.800 There was one that came out, I think, yesterday, the day before, and this woman, she's like – she was in England, and she said,

00:43:12.540 look, there are – the white population is going down, and with all the, you know, newcomers, we're winning. 1.00

00:43:22.840 We're winning.

00:43:23.980 That's replacement theory at its worst.

00:43:28.260 However, there is a Great Replacement that is going on all throughout the Western world, 0.99

00:43:34.880 and that is the Christianity replacement with Islam.

00:43:40.240 If you see what is happening in every country in the Middle East, and Dearborn, which nobody pays attention to here, and Minnesota,

00:43:51.340 you see that there is a replacement of our culture and our faith.

00:43:58.860 And it's a little terrifying when you see the numbers, just the sheer numbers in Europe.

00:44:05.860 Europe is over.

00:44:09.160 Well, it's absolutely over.

00:44:10.380 And the thing I find hilarious, the reason I laughed, is to call something that's demonstrably true, like gravity, a theory, is itself, like, deceptive.

00:44:20.980 So it's not a theory.

00:44:22.400 It's a math question.

00:44:23.960 So what's – and by the way, it's not racial.

00:44:26.540 It's not even religious, in my opinion.

00:44:28.780 It's just a math question.

00:44:29.940 You have the people who lived in the United States in, say, the year 2000 before everything changed with 9-11.

00:44:34.780 And those people and their descendants, at, you know, what rate are they reproducing?

00:44:41.340 And then, well, below replacement rate.

00:44:44.080 But the country is growing really fast because new people are being imported. 0.99

00:44:48.700 So by definition, again, as a math equation, the people who lived here in 2000, which was not that long ago, are being replaced by immigrants. 0.85

00:44:57.220 And it's not just whites.

00:44:58.940 It's native-born blacks, actually.

00:45:01.560 So you always hear the country's getting less weight.

00:45:03.380 Well, you know, black people, African-Americans, as we call them, have lived in this country longer than, you know, Italians or Irish.

00:45:10.920 You know, hundreds of years of families have been here.

00:45:13.520 They're native-American.

00:45:14.820 They're native-born Americans.

00:45:16.140 And they are being replaced, too.

00:45:17.880 And their political power is evaporating, which no one ever says, but it's true.

00:45:21.580 And, you know, they don't vote the same way I do, by and large.

00:45:23.940 But I think that people whose families have been here for hundreds of years, like, have some claim on the country, actually.

00:45:29.620 I think that.

00:45:30.660 Call me crazy.

00:45:31.320 And so they are being replaced, flat out.

00:45:35.500 And anyone who says they're not being replaced or says it's, like, racist or bigoted or anti-Semitic to say that, it's like, what?

00:45:42.120 It has nothing to do with any of that.

00:45:43.400 It's just a fact.

00:45:44.180 And why are you doing this to us, actually?

00:45:46.840 Nobody likes it.

00:45:48.560 But why?

00:45:49.580 Why is this happening?

00:45:50.660 And so, yeah, they huff and puff or whatever.

00:45:53.240 But they've also written a bunch of books on how great it is.

00:45:56.580 I mean, if you're sending a vasectomy machine to the DNC.

00:46:02.020 Yeah.

00:46:02.720 It's crazy.

00:46:04.500 Yeah.

00:46:04.760 Like, what is that about?

00:46:06.540 You know what I mean?

00:46:07.480 It's really spiritual.

00:46:09.000 And by the way, I would say, I don't think it's Islam is the religion that's replacing us.

00:46:13.000 It's the LBGTQ religion, the global religion of childlessness. 1.00

00:46:18.940 Well, I will tell you that I agree with that.

00:46:24.100 But right now, they're, you know, playing footsie with the Islamist. 1.00

00:46:30.500 And in the end, the Islamist will eat the LGBTQ community. 1.00

00:46:36.280 Oh, 100%. 0.57

00:46:38.020 And I'm rooting for them.

00:46:40.380 Oh, my gosh.

00:46:41.480 I am.

00:46:42.180 I am.

00:46:42.940 I mean, I'm hardly Muslim.

00:46:44.800 But I can tell you this, having spent a lot of time in the Middle East in the last few years,

00:46:50.400 especially the Gulf, especially the Emirates, is much more tolerant and welcoming of Christianity

00:46:56.620 than New York City is, and that Frankfurt, Germany is, than London is.

00:47:01.560 I mean, you can go sit at a dinner party in Abu Dhabi and talk about how much you love Jesus

00:47:06.060 and everybody applauds.

00:47:07.580 You know, try that in London.

00:47:08.840 Try that in New York City.

00:47:09.780 Like, you can't.

00:47:10.780 People hate you for that.

00:47:12.320 So, look, I don't know exactly what that means.

00:47:14.620 I don't really know what anything means, but I've experienced that.

00:47:17.880 And I think the real threat to, you know, any religion that tells you it's bad to have

00:47:23.580 children, or children don't matter, or human life doesn't matter, is evil, is demonic.

00:47:28.980 Yeah, I agree.

00:47:29.440 And that's the LGBTQ religion, or the globalist, weird global climate religion. 1.00

00:47:33.760 I mean, you know what I'm saying?

00:47:35.080 Yeah, I do, I do.

00:47:36.200 And it's scary.

00:47:36.760 I do.

00:47:37.940 Yeah, you will bow down to it as well.

00:47:40.320 Tucker, thank you.

00:47:41.500 We'll see you on the 7th in Salt Lake City at the Delta Center.
