00:00:00.000 what a great uh podcast for you today from what's going on here in america china and afghanistan a

00:00:06.560 great update on that to goldfish goldfish being left behind and i will not help them it's uh it's

00:00:15.520 pretty tragic and the secret compound that possibly donald trump is buying what's going on

00:00:24.080 all this and so much more on today's podcast don't forget to subscribe rate and review this

00:00:28.720 podcast if you wouldn't mind taking a second to do that as well as studios america free episodes

00:00:32.560 every single day and blaze tv.com slash glenn is the place to go to sign up for blaze tv promo code is glenn

00:00:46.400 you're listening to the best of the glenn beck program

00:00:50.160 we welcome pat gray to the glenn beck program pat gray host of uh pat gray unleashed where you can

00:00:59.840 find that on blaze tv or any place you can find your podcast yeah you hear a lot about how great

00:01:06.880 things are going right now right yeah yeah we're taking a completely different tact a lot of people

00:01:11.600 are saying this isn't going well i'm going the opposite direction really yeah okay i think what

00:01:16.640 could you do that's better so you're not telling the truth about the negative side of this which

00:01:20.720 is the media is saying things aren't going perfectly and that's bad they deserve the biden administration

00:01:26.960 deserves their props exactly okay so exactly is everybody dead no no there's people that are alive

00:01:35.280 not yet not yet that's a good way to look at it yeah there's a few musicians still alive yeah yeah

00:01:42.960 right i'm sure there's a few homosexuals that are you know still feeling comfortable walking the 0.97

00:01:48.880 street right and like we've never tested this like we don't know how the tal maybe the taliban will be

00:01:53.760 fantastic if they just have a bunch of helicopters and drones maybe that was the weakness of the

00:01:58.240 society before right correct and you know what let's go to let's go to the department of uh state

00:02:04.800 and uh secretary blinken you know the taliban as he said yesterday has to earn its international

00:02:11.760 legitimacy and support and yeah you know i think we need to give them time yes you know i was watching

00:02:19.520 some incredible footage today of our soldiers walking into the airport in kabul and looking at

00:02:25.040 their helicopters and then i realized no no that's not them that's the taliban in our uniforms

00:02:31.920 with our helicopters and our equipment i was like wow we're giving they're dressed a lot better than

00:02:37.200 they used to be much better and they drive around town in nicer vehicles is it possible it was the

00:02:42.080 vehicles and the outfits that were the problem and the lack of black hawk helicopters yes yeah like

00:02:48.160 maybe they needed this a bird's eye of you to understand they shouldn't be raping women in 0.98

00:02:51.760 the streets i don't know who knows we've never tried it and there's only 30 there's only like 34

00:02:57.280 countries that have more black hawks now than the taliban so i think that's maybe the problem this

00:03:02.320 whole time whole time yeah and they have 42 000 more trucks they could open a used car dealership

00:03:08.800 that could really bring in some revenue it could you look at the prices of uh used cars today oh my

00:03:14.400 gosh yes and you know they had the uh the md530s those are they have 43 of those uh helicopters and

00:03:21.680 last night these guys are such characters uh they were strapping people to the skids

00:03:27.120 skids and then just uh flying with the people strapped to the skids and sometimes you know those

00:03:35.840 those ropes accidentally got loose oh and they fell to their death accidentally uh other times they just

00:03:41.680 landed on them uh so it was great it was great they got 43 of those helicopters so they can provide all

00:03:48.560 kinds of entertainment oh man these guys are so evil and we are we are you know it's we all knew

00:03:58.480 that you're not going to be able to take care of a country that won't fight for themselves okay they

00:04:06.160 have to want it but you are seeing that there are cities that are pushing them back 30 cities push these

00:04:12.960 guys out yeah and there are they are standing up we just left a complete vacuum we could have easily

00:04:21.760 left just a few people there at our air base just so they knew you know what things get really bad i

00:04:30.240 guess we're just going to call the americans and they'll just drop a few bombs on you uh and there's

00:04:35.840 nothing wrong with that deterrent we just even if it for six months we just left them just left them

00:04:43.600 and don't listen to the government we left americans behind oh yeah i mean even the government is

00:04:51.200 admitting that i mean they can't hide it 200 200 they're saying it's only 200 yeah but we know it's 0.65

00:04:56.720 crap we know it's more than one you know the zero is is uh is not appropriate the biden interview

00:05:02.720 with stephanopoulos the other day stephanopoulos said to biden and he didn't challenge it there are 0.95

00:05:07.520 10 to 15 000 americans left there right 10 to 15 000 now blinken said we've gotten as many as 6 000

00:05:15.120 out that leaves four to nine thousand people right still there unless they were nine thousand unless

00:05:22.640 they were lying when they had 15 000 when they said they had 15 000 are they were they lying then

00:05:28.960 or are they lying now right gee i don't know because they'll lie about everything yeah and

00:05:35.760 the only way this ends we all know how this ends which is of course that over time the media to to

00:05:42.560 back up joe biden that this wasn't so bad starts turning the taliban into the good guys in this

00:05:46.960 conflict against isis k and then we start funding the taliban to fight isis k has to be the way this

00:05:53.200 ends it is already happening yes i would not be surprised i mean obviously we're funding them with 85

00:05:57.360 billion dollars of military equipment but i'm saying i'm saying still outwardly occurring it

00:06:02.400 happened with the president's speech last week he already did it he said this these bombings were

00:06:09.680 isis and the taliban it was protecting us right you know excuse me but i happen to know exactly how

00:06:18.480 that airport was working there were three taliban checkpoints to get to the abbey gate you had to go

00:06:25.600 through three choke points all right did does the taliban not know what a suicide vest looks like

00:06:34.400 i'm just think it was a 25 or 50 pound suicide vest a giant one basically enormous they allowed that to

00:06:41.920 go through i'm sorry it's certainly i'm certainly suspicious of that but what i'm saying is like

00:06:48.080 ongoing military support ongoing uh humanitarian support they're going to become our buddies again

00:06:56.880 this is what happens in these conflicts we're gonna listen to this did you hear the speeches

00:07:01.600 from the military officials after we pulled out they're like oh the taliban was fantastic i mean they

00:07:06.560 were great they really helped us i mean i didn't get everybody at these checkpoints but wow what a great

00:07:10.960 job they did i mean they're they're acting like it was like hey my son did a good job at the little

00:07:15.520 league game this week good job good job son good job taliban thank you for helping us like this is

00:07:21.040 pathetic aren't we the united states of america i can't i i we're apparently not anymore apparently

00:07:26.720 not and fox is reporting that they've got an american hostage right now the taliban they have for a long 0.93

00:07:33.760 time and we couldn't even we couldn't even get the hostage out as part of this pullout deal we

00:07:40.480 couldn't even get that and they keep asking about it and they're saying we're not gonna leave anybody

00:07:44.000 behind you know you're leaving this person behind and we can't even get with these incredible

00:07:48.880 negotiations we're having with the taliban we can't even get the known hostages out i mean it's

00:07:54.880 it's insane that this has happened it's and he owns every little bit of it and the media is going

00:08:01.040 to they've done a halfway decent job when the crisis was going on but now that american troops

00:08:06.480 are out of there and now that there's no longer any active danger at that airport where all the

00:08:12.320 rehabilitation will start it's going to start and they're going to start saying how actually it was

00:08:16.640 an amazing it was a historic airlift it was the biggest ever in history they deserve all this credit

00:08:22.240 and it's going to continue and continue until until joe biden was the hero of this war

00:08:27.920 and the taliban are our close confidants in our tough war who punch above their weight they punch 1.00

00:08:35.040 above their weight you know we thought they were bad for a while but that was probably george bush's

00:08:39.360 fault after all after all it was an inside job as we all know i thought we were gonna get good news

00:08:45.040 from pat i thought that's what he was doing oh you didn't find that to be no i really find that good

00:08:50.400 news i'm still looking for the good news weird did you guys see the washington post um article uh

00:08:58.160 where they are saying we don't know i mean what is what's wrong with trump voters they should be all

00:09:04.880 over now i can't i can't tell if this is a parody or not so you tell me if trump voters cared a wit

00:09:17.680 about substance they'd be swooning for joe biden right now uh in ways both enthusiastic and reluctant

00:09:24.800 president biden has pursued a surprisingly trump agenda he has implemented the rapid and complete

00:09:30.640 withdrawal from afghanistan that former president donald trump negotiated with the taliban he maintained

00:09:36.240 trump's tariffs against china on metal imports he continued a trump policy that allowed the rapid 0.70

00:09:42.240 deportation of asylum seekers oh my gosh he achieved the long-time trump goal of massive infrastructure 0.73

00:09:48.720 spending deal and continued trump's packed practice of heavy deficit spending he's furthered trump's

00:09:54.240 coddling of the saudi regime regime by letting it off the hook for murdering uh the journalist jamal

00:09:59.600 khashoggi and russia by green lighting the gas pipeline to germany that circumvents ukraine he's

00:10:06.160 left in place trump's hardline cuba policy uh so where's the love from the maga crowd

00:10:14.240 those aren't the things that we loved about uh it said the likely reason for this is obvious and

00:10:21.440 depressing trump voters weren't attracted to him because of his policies but because of his tribal

00:10:27.760 partisanship and because they like trump's style his attacks on the institutions government by tweet the

00:10:35.600 violent talk and yes white nationalism that's that is that is incredible let's just go through this

00:10:47.440 list shall we uh he's implemented the rapid and complete withdrawal from afghanistan that former

00:10:53.920 president donald trump negotiated with the taliban uh just so you know um no one was for this kind of

00:11:02.080 an exit strategy this is a disaster most americans would agree they didn't want to be in afghanistan 1.00

00:11:10.160 anymore but not if this was the cost by the way um donald trump didn't go 40 hours without returning

00:11:20.080 the phone call to the prime minister of our biggest longest ally england he didn't rape all of our allies

00:11:30.080 to the point to the point to where they won't do business with us anymore by the way the taliban

00:11:35.840 killed one person one person before he was going back to meet with them and he said i won't meet with them

00:11:43.280 and all of those people are dead one person was killed by the taliban and he said they're dead

00:11:52.720 dead and guess what they were now so don't give me this that that joe biden has done the trump agenda

00:12:02.720 with the taliban uh he's continued the trump policy that allows for rapid deportation of asylum seekers

00:12:09.840 are you kidding me are you really trying to convince the american people that our border

00:12:17.920 is as secure as it was do you know under under um barack obama his worst month was 10 000 people

00:12:27.840 coming over the border you and we all remember that month don't we that was the worst month and it was

00:12:34.080 kind of an anomaly because it went back down the next month the last five months on our border

00:12:40.720 have been between 12 and 20 000 people coming across our border the worst anomaly

00:12:52.640 of barack obama he has doubled that number and it's not just one month it's every month 12 to 20 000

00:13:02.720 people coming across our border so please think it's more than that some months uh it's like 200 000

00:13:08.720 there are multiple categories here yeah i think you might be speaking of

00:13:12.880 because you're right it is like that number's up over 200 000 because i remember they had a chart they

00:13:17.040 were giving out for months like here's the here's the their numbers and look at it it's kind of

00:13:21.840 close to last year and then all of a sudden it wasn't close and then all of a sudden it literally

00:13:26.560 went out off the top of the charts because they had the top of the chart at 200 000 like it's never

00:13:31.440 gonna hit this and then it went off the top of the chart over that yeah asylum and maybe i don't know i

00:13:37.120 think that's asylum asylum seekers yeah maybe just asylum yeah yeah um but so don't tell me about his

00:13:44.400 rapid deportation of asylum seekers the the supreme court had to force him back into the trump policy

00:13:52.480 and quite honestly i don't even know if that's been done no they've ignored a lot of the supreme

00:13:58.320 right so please give it a rest well summer is coming to an end soon but our outdoor life is

00:15:04.880 the best of the glenn beck program

00:15:10.880 josh rogan he's the author of chaos under heaven uh we just did a podcast together i think a couple of

00:15:16.960 three weeks ago uh it is a must watch podcast uh it you will learn so much from uh josh and he joins us

00:15:26.320 again today uh he is a columnist and don't hold this against him for the washington post hi josh how

00:15:33.280 are you great to be back with you gone so i am uh you know i'm wondering uh well first let's let's start

00:15:40.560 with let's start with the simple stuff the big winner here seems to be china uh they are they are

00:15:49.440 now looking to build new roads across parts of uh of afghanistan they are looking at their their mineral

00:15:59.040 mineral reserve uh which is enormous uh their lithium reserve tell me about the big winner here in

00:16:07.120 afghanistan right glenn well you know there are lots of different angles to this debacle we're

00:16:12.640 seeing unfold in afghanistan just a disaster for american credibility and standing all over the

00:16:17.520 world but and i tried the way i look at it is that not everything in the world is related to china

00:16:23.040 but the competition with china actually plays out all over the globe in every part of it and especially in

00:16:29.600 uh southwest asia and i think this really gives us gives china an advantage over us in

00:16:37.200 several several different ways first of all let's just talk about the the the big picture right that

00:16:44.320 joe biden our president internationalist president was supposed to bring america back he was supposed

00:16:48.800 to be proving that democracies can defeat autocracies he was supposed to be convincing the rest of our

00:16:54.560 allies to come along on this project of building or restoring or repairing whatever you like to call it

00:16:59.360 the international global world order which is his entire plan for countering the rise of the chinese 1.00

00:17:05.040 communist party and the threat that it poses to our way of life and boom right out of the bat he's

00:17:10.080 losing democracies left and right it's not just afghanistan look at meanmar look at nicaragua look at

00:17:16.080 i don't know uh tunisia you know all over the world in eight months autocracy is on the march and

00:17:22.480 if you're in any country that's sort of on the border between sort of you know a struggling country that's

00:17:27.920 trying to do better that's trying to lift itself out of suffering and tyranny and you look at that

00:17:33.200 you have to say that like uh america walks talks the talk but doesn't walk the walk and so that's

00:17:38.960 the big that's the big picture here is that the big chinese communist party argument has always been

00:17:43.600 that democracy doesn't work it's too messy once you give people freedom they use it to you know produce

00:17:49.840 fake news and all these things that we believe in like uh you know human rights and the rule of law

00:17:55.360 are all just sham that's what xi jinping wrote in a thing called document number nine which is in my

00:18:01.120 book chaos under heaven it explains that his entire theory of the case is that the democracy and open

00:18:07.520 and free societies don't work okay and that it's much better just to have a thuggish dictatorship even

00:18:12.720 though you might not like what it does all the time you'll have more stability and safety and that's

00:18:16.720 what we're proving by handing over this country to a thuggish dictatorship that doesn't even get you to the

00:18:21.360 minerals and the diplomatic you know uh uh power that we've yielded to beijing and the fact that

00:18:27.840 we throw our allies under the bus we abandon our local partners and who around the world is going

00:18:32.160 to want to work with us again and who around the world is going to believe us again when we go into

00:18:35.840 some place and say hey we can make your lives better and uh we're going to stick it out because

00:18:40.720 we believe in these things that we profess to believe in and but now china can go around the world

00:18:45.520 say no no that'll work for a little while until they get tired of you and that's what they're saying to

00:18:50.000 israel and taiwan and everyone else so josh um you said that um president g is is looking at

00:18:59.520 a world and saying autocracies work uh democracies don't well i would posit to you that that is the

00:19:09.280 belief of joe biden or at least those around him as he said before to the press um to the select press

00:19:18.560 the approved press right before his i guess you would call it a state of the union speech he said

00:19:26.160 you know the jury's out on this and that's our that's that's our quest to find out if a democracy

00:19:33.280 like ours can exist and uh and actually hold its own against these autocracies and i honestly believe

00:19:43.040 he thinks that we can't it's i mean it's the great reset that is that is the whole idea of build back

00:19:51.120 better that you do have to take some of these rights away from people to be able to compete

00:19:56.640 against china this is exactly what we went through with the progressives in the 1920s and 1930s and 40s

00:20:03.680 same thing well listen you know i think there's there are similarities that you could draw again

00:20:10.160 but i think we should kind of avoid wrapping uh you know our battle with tyranny at the chinese

00:20:15.280 communist party into our own domestic politics you and i have talked about this a lot right we can

00:20:19.680 yes there are uh uh uh through lines right about you know government power and our ability to affect

00:20:27.040 you know uh uh and to speak freely in our own society but it's not the same we shouldn't draw

00:20:31.680 i know i'm not saying it is the same i i'm not i'm not saying that i'm saying that their view of

00:20:37.200 a free republic like we have constitutionally that the left's idea of a free republic uh they don't

00:20:48.160 necessarily believe in it either uh you know xi jinping he is you know he's he's he's he's to the

00:20:56.320 extreme of that but they're on the same road they don't think that we can compete they

00:21:01.600 think this is an old outdated model you know i think there is something to that they they're

00:21:07.680 you know you you can't just preach democracy you have to actually implement it at home and i do think

00:21:12.400 that you know the way the biden administration is going is that you have to conclude that they

00:21:16.160 think that america's in decline and they're trying to manage that decline right now what i say is that

00:21:20.240 doesn't have to be the case now if you're of the that's sort of how obama thought of it too right

00:21:24.800 he's like oh well you know it's just inevitable that these other countries are going to become so much

00:21:28.880 more powerful than us we should just manage our decline and hand off global responsibility

00:21:33.200 the problem with that of course is that when america withdraws it's the bad guys who take

00:21:36.880 over it's like the worst actors the strongest people like the whoever is new at the zoo with

00:21:41.760 all the guns and the money in this case the taliban who fills that void so yeah i you know i i hear what

00:21:47.920 you're saying i agree with what you're saying but at the same time that that they it's not over yet

00:21:52.960 right you have to fight against that both at home and abroad because if it is the same fight as you

00:21:58.640 say then you know we can't afford to lose either one we can't afford to take our eye off either ball

00:22:05.200 i i talked to nigel farage yesterday and uh we've talked to some people over uh overseas in many

00:22:12.880 different countries of our allies and they all pretty much say the same thing uh we don't we don't trust you

00:22:20.320 anymore what what is the effect of that on on the average american citizen why should they care about

00:22:28.480 that you know if joe biden came to power criticizing for alienating allies right that was his old pitch

00:22:37.120 right america's alone america first means america alone and here we are in the first eight months and

00:22:41.840 he's done as much to alienate allies as anyone else and the reason that that affects all americans because

00:22:47.280 if you're bought into this idea that you know america should you know uh work with like-minded

00:22:53.200 countries on all these projects well then we actually have to do it we actually have to uh

00:22:57.520 put our money where our mouth is and then if we can't get these countries on board especially with

00:23:01.680 regards to the china competition well then that's a big problem if you know it's one thing to lose

00:23:06.160 afghanistan to china it's another thing to lose europe and that's sort of what we're staring at is that

00:23:11.120 you've got all these countries that should be on our side and that by our side and not i don't mean

00:23:15.280 america's side i mean on the side of the things that we believe in on the west of freedom and

00:23:19.120 democracy in the west and free and open societies and justice and you know and and human dignity

00:23:25.120 right and and individual rights right the same things that you're talking about in our domestic

00:23:29.440 debate you have pools of those people in all of these european countries but you know if they're

00:23:33.840 watching their own people uh get killed in afghanistan due to our incompetence well then there's next 0.98

00:23:38.960 time we go and ask them for help or tell them that they can trust us of course they're not

00:23:43.440 so again not everything is related to china but it is in a way undermining our ability to

00:23:48.320 do exactly what biden said he wants to do that's really the big problem is that what they're saying

00:23:52.960 and what we see on our tv screens are two totally different things you can't really undermine trust

00:23:57.600 more than that i mean we just spent three weeks even i mean look at all the democrats who are watching

00:24:02.560 their tv screens you know calling everybody they know in the administration to beg them to get their

00:24:07.520 friends and family out of this crazy ugly dystopian situation and failing because the state department

00:24:14.960 and the biden administration was so dispopulated so screwed up just a mess that's what i saw for the

00:24:21.040 last 19 days a total disaster the avoidable disaster predictable disaster where real people died because of

00:24:28.080 the incompetence not ideology is just the sheer incompetence of this administration and that's what

00:24:33.520 the world sees too so they could they might even believe that joe biden believes what he says but

00:24:38.480 if they don't think he has the basic competence to pull it off then why would they bet their countries

00:24:43.120 on it wouldn't make any sense i talked to somebody um yesterday who um was the chief of staff for a major

00:24:52.240 allies um uh prime minister and he happened to be friends of the prime minister of uh i want to say it's

00:25:02.240 albania i think i have that right albania um last week when i was in the middle east albania was taking

00:25:09.440 uh christian refugees it's a great place for christian refugees to go um and uh they had no problem taking 0.51

00:25:17.920 it the state department called uh the albanian government and said at the last minute do not take

00:25:27.600 any of these and i asked i asked this former aide who was speaking to the head of albania i think this

00:25:36.640 prime minister um and i said did he give you any indication on why that happened and he said no he

00:25:44.320 thought it was very bizarre and so do i and they wouldn't assign a motive to it but uh that's not

00:25:51.600 incompetence what is that well it's partially incompetence and i've heard first of all glenn

00:25:59.360 that's a horrible horrible story and that needs to be reported out and i hope and and so do i and

00:26:06.080 that's why i say it's it's it's shocking but not surprising because i've been dealing with stories

00:26:10.320 like this for the last three weeks like almost everybody else in washington has and they all go

00:26:14.720 the same way the state department told us we were on our own so we made we lifted heaven and earth to

00:26:20.480 make arrangements to get our people out and then the state department screwed it up at the last

00:26:24.080 minute and why is that going on because at in the middle of this mess they start the administration 0.53

00:26:30.000 continued to make bad decisions on top of bad decisions and in the end they were looking out

00:26:34.400 for their political interests and their political interests were to first of all make sure they don't

00:26:38.080 get blamed for any of this stuff which is not going to happen and second of all to get out the

00:26:41.600 people that they cared about most so when it when push came to shove and they decided that they

00:26:45.600 weren't going to extend the deadline again for no other reason than the political reason

00:26:50.880 they immediately started to tell everyone forget about your people we're going to get our people

00:26:55.360 our locally employed staff and also americans and green card holders but really only the afghans that 0.98

00:27:00.800 the state department would wanted to be able to say we save these guys and so everyone who had been

00:27:05.440 working for two or three weeks to get their own friends and family out equally deserving afghans who had

00:27:10.480 done equally heroic things uh they just got pushed aside because uh you know that's the way that things

00:27:16.160 were going so yeah it is a mix of political gamesmanship and a mix of incompetence uh all 0.97

00:27:21.760 rolled into one it's a perfect storm of of idiocy uh that has cost people's lives lots of people's 0.93

00:27:28.080 lives and we'll continue to do so because of the thousands we left behind i think um it's the first 0.99

00:27:33.680 time i've ever said this i think calling um uh people idiots for this is the kindest word uh you 0.92

00:27:41.920 could possibly use this is a family show and i'm sorry you know i know go ahead that you have very 0.95

00:27:50.880 but but i heard what you said before i came on about you know american citizens and you know whether

00:27:55.680 the numbers are right the numbers are all screwed up and you know they won't even tell you how they

00:27:59.440 came to these 123 400 million whatever it's all bs but what's really insidious about that is that

00:28:06.080 they want you to focus on the statistics so that you will be distracted from the stories from the

00:28:10.400 anecdotes from the human suffering right because i was dealing with american citizens who went through

00:28:16.800 hell every day walking up to those gates with all of the documentation either getting turned away by the

00:28:22.640 taliban if they get past the taliban they got turned away by the turks they got turned away by us marines

00:28:28.240 okay this happened many many times many many reporters have already reported it so don't sit

00:28:33.840 there and tell me you did everything you could because the least you could have done was design

00:28:37.680 a system that wasn't this totally totally screwed up josh thank you so much um as always it's a

00:28:44.640 pleasure to talk to you um he's the author of chaos under heaven uh he is probably i think the the

00:28:52.880 leading voice on uh china and where they're going and what it all means uh and has a good head on his

00:29:01.120 shoulders um columnist for the washington post chaos under heaven josh rogan thank you so much josh

00:29:10.880 you're listening to the best of the glenn beck program

00:29:21.840 there's a lot of talk of impeachment uh going around but i don't think nancy pelosi is

00:29:27.840 is going to go along with it however should should our president be impeached uh you can impeach him

00:29:36.000 for incompetence although it's a political thing i guess you could impeach for any reason but i would

00:29:42.240 like to make a real one remember the ukraine that that was all about the timing of military aid to ukraine

00:29:49.680 and the request of the ukraine to purchase some javelin defense missiles 391 million dollars

00:29:56.800 well we've just handed the taliban not an ally 10 billion dollars 10 billion dollars

00:30:06.640 during trump's impeachment trial the left said that trump delaying military aid to ukraine

00:30:12.640 was cruel and dangerous to american national security well what about the problems that

00:30:20.560 have now been caused by president biden that have directly led to taliban controlling billions of

00:30:27.600 dollars of dollars of the highest attack we have based on harm to the united states over the last two

00:30:35.280 weeks alone the damage done to the relationship and the trust with our allies the outrageous waste and

00:30:42.000 fleecing of american taxpayers giving the taliban a list of names to of u.s citizens and afghani allies

00:30:49.360 not to mention the loss of american lives last thursday which is more impeachable one phone call by the

00:30:58.000 president or president biden's afghanistan meltdown this is why congressional democrats should have

00:31:05.520 checked themselves before they wrecked themselves lowering the impeachment bar so far because biden is

00:31:13.360 soaring over that bar now congresswoman lauren bobert is with us now she is uh the congressman from

00:31:22.320 uh colorado she's calling on biden to resign and calling for impeachment proceedings to begin to begin

00:31:29.520 congresswoman welcome to the program thanks so much glenn it's wonderful to be on uh with you today

00:31:35.520 and um i i really do just want to stop and thank you and your listeners and thank you to kenneth

00:31:41.280 copeland ministries and the nazarene fund what y'all did actually going to afghanistan and rescuing

00:31:47.120 over 5 000 endangered christians is nothing but miraculous uh that that's the american spirit right

00:31:54.400 there and that's american exceptionalism and that's the kindness and charity that we've been called to

00:31:58.960 as christians so thank you thank you that is uh it's it's an exceptional audience um this audience is

00:32:05.200 incredible just incredible i think the best in in the nation uh perhaps ever assembled on radio

00:32:11.280 anyway um let's talk a little bit about your call for impeachment what are you basing it on

00:32:19.120 well there's uh there's certainly a lot that uh joe biden has uh done as a dereliction of duty he has

00:32:26.560 not fulfilled his oath of office as uh as president of the united states and commander-in-chief

00:32:32.240 um you know i saw what you had to say while while you were over there and and look you're absolutely

00:32:37.280 right there has been no leadership on this issue no leadership in protecting uh endangered americans

00:32:43.600 endangered christians no leadership in protecting our troops or our equipment and no accountability

00:32:50.000 even for now the taliban who's flying our black hawk helicopters with uh seemingly uh public hangings from

00:32:58.240 them no leadership is getting our citizens out and i'm sure your listeners have heard that the last us

00:33:04.880 flight left kabul yesterday and many americans are still stranded in afghanistan that is unacceptable

00:33:11.760 and that is infuriating where is the accountability so far there's only been one resignation because

00:33:17.600 of this mess and it became it came from lieutenant colonel stewart scheller who resigned because he could 0.54

00:33:23.680 no longer serve in a military run by such buffoons and look at the track record of our so-called commander-in-chief

00:33:31.040 and his regime 85 billion in state-of-the-art military equipment has been handed over to 0.75

00:33:39.440 terrorists this so-called commander-in-chief has been taking orders from terrorists they stranded americans

00:33:45.600 with no way to get home they took orders uh from the taliban and directed our soldiers to clean the airport for 0.98

00:33:53.120 these killers and they allowed 13 of our brave men and women to be killed joe biden needs to be

00:34:00.880 resigned he needs to resign he needs to be removed his military advisors who's shown that they are more

00:34:07.520 focused on wokeness than winning need to resign and if joe biden refuses to do that then all options are

00:34:14.720 on the table that could mean the 25th amendment and he could go home and take his nap and eat his applesauce

00:34:19.760 or that very well could mean impeachment and my office is working on that exactly the incompetence of

00:34:25.600 this regime is a national security threat and myself and many members of the house freedom

00:34:31.280 caucus are going to take a stand i'm i'm i'm glad to hear you say that what are the odds with nancy

00:34:38.480 pelosi and the democrats in charge what are the odds that you could actually move this forward

00:34:46.320 glenn i am calling on just a handful of democrats to take a stand against the speaker of the house i am in

00:34:53.760 washington dc right now demanding that members come back to washington if we can be called back into

00:35:00.400 session from our recess to start the process of spending trillions and trillions of dollars

00:35:05.600 unnecessarily we certainly can be called back into session for this i need democrats to take a stand

00:35:13.200 and show that they are not under the complete control of speaker pelosi we have to put pressure on

00:35:19.520 them we have to put pressure on republicans right now i see primaries in the future of any republican

00:35:27.920 who does not call for action right now the american people want something done they are tired of

00:35:34.400 politicians just talking about what needs to happen they need action behind those words and we have to be

00:35:40.800 the ones who are doing it that's why i'm in washington dc right now saying it is worth being here to stop this

00:35:47.600 madness and hold this regime accountable so what can my audience do to help you everyone needs to be

00:35:55.040 putting pressure on their members of congress we need the congress to come together we always hear

00:36:01.520 about democrats saying the republicans won't work for them well this is their opportunity to work with us

00:36:07.840 to work with us to make sure that america remains an exceptional nation remains a free nation and remains

00:36:14.160 uh the strongest military force in the world who doesn't just give over their equipment to terrorists

00:36:21.120 to their enemies and and fund the opposite side of a war we need them to come together with us and say

00:36:28.240 there has to be accountability now now think about it glenn when uh when our servicemen and women leave

00:36:34.960 equipment behind whether that's night vision goggles or any any piece of equipment uh that that they have in

00:36:41.840 their possession they are held personally liable whether that's uh monetarily or they are demoted

00:36:49.200 and they have a lesser rank what is happening to my leave right now what is happening to austin right now

00:36:55.760 where is the accountability for all of the 85 billion dollars in equipment that has been left behind

00:37:02.480 i need just a handful of democrats to step up and say we are not going to stand for this if they can uh impeach

00:37:10.480 president trump over a perfect phone call and a perfect speech uh certainly they can take a stand

00:37:16.400 against this and and show that they still have some dignity for this nation i will tell you that um

00:37:22.480 you know if we had if we had marines soldiers airmen uh that were as brave as one was last week if we had

00:37:33.520 one of those per day that would mount quickly uh it wouldn't take more than 20 that had real uh sets on them

00:37:44.640 and and was willing to walk away and i know the american people would take care of those people

00:37:50.480 um and if they would just walk away and say i can't do this because the upper brass has defiled and

00:38:01.200 disgraced everything we stand for if just 20 people would do it at once a day one person a day it would

00:38:11.680 start to add up but you've got just one guy and uh and it made a big splash but there it's it's not

00:38:20.880 going to change anything one guy alone won't change he can inspire others but where are the others

00:38:30.640 i i certainly hope uh that lieutenant colonel uh stuart scheller is inspiring others to do the same

00:38:37.120 and i want him and others to know that we have their back i have legislation that is being drafted

00:38:41.920 in my office to reinstate his benefits uh so he does not lose that from the time that he served our our

00:38:48.800 country and uh so i want other people to know we absolutely have your back um and we can certainly

00:38:55.440 get this started while republicans are in the minority uh but we will have the majority in 2022

00:39:00.960 and there will be a day of reckoning so all of these people who are are worried about taking a stand

00:39:06.000 right now know that we have you let me ask you one last question have you thought about kamala harris

00:39:13.920 as president does it get any better uh so of course that is uh the number one question when

00:39:21.440 you start thinking about impeachment and and discussing that you start going down the list

00:39:26.560 well do we really want president harris do we really want president pelosi um she certainly has

00:39:33.120 shown what she does with the people's house here in washington dc i can imagine what she would do with

00:39:37.760 the white house so i have legislation uh that will be introduced uh in impeaching both biden and harris

00:39:45.040 and nancy pelosi can follow them out the freaking door um she certainly needs to be held accountable 1.00

00:39:51.040 for this as well and um we have called as uh the freedom caucus we have called on leader mccarthy 0.91

00:39:56.560 to introduce a a resolution to vacate the chair holy cow uh has that been done before

00:40:06.800 um i i don't know if that's actually been done um but this is something that we are pursuing because

00:40:11.440 this is uh serious this is a national security threat at this point to have this kind of leadership

00:40:18.320 in america and so everyone needs to be held accountable we're not just stopping with sleepy

00:40:23.760 sluggish joe we're going down to uh absent harris and uh and pelosi as well um we absolutely need to

00:40:30.880 vacate the chair think about it glenn nancy pelosi would not be speaker of the house right now 0.93

00:40:37.120 if she hadn't built a plexiglass penalty box for covid positive members of congress to vote her in 1.00

00:40:45.040 as speaker of the house they only have a five person majority right now and she built a uh a a box in the 0.97

00:40:53.920 house chambers so covid positive members can come into this building with covid and vote for her as

00:41:01.840 speaker of the house she has a very slim majority and she needs to be removed as speaker she needs 1.00

00:41:07.760 to be removed from the chair and we need to have actual leadership in place here uh well i uh i

00:41:14.560 appreciate i appreciate your uh willingness to stand i've i loved it i mean you still own the uh you

00:41:22.480 still own the bar right uh yes my restaurant restaurant yeah sorry sorry yeah shooter's grill uh i i

00:41:30.000 loved you when you first came out and i love the fact that you are still as spirited as you were uh

00:41:36.400 then thank you for keeping an eye on them uh let us know when we can we can help thank you so much

00:41:42.720 thanks so much glenn you bet
