The Glenn Beck Program - Best of the Program ｜ Guests： Julia Wax & Brooke Goldstein ｜ 10⧸19⧸23

00:00:00.040 What an exciting show today, would you say?

00:00:03.060 I mean, it had everything. It had hope. It had fire. It had righteousness.

00:00:08.040 It had a little naughtiness to it. Dare I say, we spoke of evil on the program.

00:00:13.840 A little bit. Seems like you got to do that now and then these days because it's, I don't know, everywhere.

00:00:20.200 Yeah, yeah. Hey, and the breaking news that happened on the podcast.

00:00:23.980 Sidney Powell is turning state's evidence just for a, I mean, she didn't get away. 0.94

00:00:32.320 I mean, she's probably one of the most central figures in the entire election case. 0.92

00:00:40.740 And I mean, they didn't let her get off with nothing.

00:00:43.220 She pled guilty, turning state's evidence, and they're going to put her in the, well, not slam her. 1.00

00:00:53.340 Yeah, she's got to report to a parole officer for the next six years. 0.99

00:00:58.640 So this is going to get interesting.

00:01:00.960 What is she, what did she do to get that kind of a sweetheart deal? 1.00

00:01:05.380 All that and more on today's podcast.

00:01:07.980 You know, when you try to explain somebody what it's like to live in pain to somebody who doesn't live in pain,

00:01:13.200 their eyes glaze over and they're like, yeah, yeah, get over it, man.

00:01:16.220 Just get over it.

00:01:17.460 Yeah, I've tried that approach.

00:01:19.460 Right. Yeah.

00:01:20.140 Uh, the, uh, uh, the, uh, art of positive thinking tried that too.

00:01:24.520 Man, I'm feeling good today.

00:01:26.320 No, I'm not.

00:01:27.820 So, you know, you might've tried absolutely everything, but may I ask, have you tried Relief Factory yet?

00:01:33.500 Just try it.

00:01:34.520 $19.95, they're not asking you for a commitment.

00:01:37.280 $19.95, you'll get a three-week quick start.

00:01:41.160 Uh, 70% of the people that order that go on to order more month after month. 1.00

00:01:45.700 Now, why would you do that unless you're a moron? 0.99

00:01:48.500 Or you find them strangely yummy. 1.00

00:01:50.680 I don't know.

00:01:51.860 Um, Relief Factor.

00:01:53.500 Get out of pain.

00:01:54.540 I got my life back.

00:01:55.800 $800 for relief.

00:01:57.240 $800, the number for relief.

00:01:58.780 Or ReliefFactor.com.

00:02:00.960 ReliefFactor.com.

00:02:01.800 Feel the difference.

00:02:10.240 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:02:17.720 These are the exact times I have been warning America about for almost, uh, what, 15 years, 20 years now.

00:02:25.400 Uh, it is why I spent so much time, uh, on Israel and the Jewish state and, uh, and Martin Luther King, uh, for so many years.

00:02:36.240 Because this is part of what always happens in a, uh, in a world that goes mad with socialism and Marxism.

00:02:46.720 Um, it always, always comes with massive anti-Semitism.

00:02:51.520 And we're seeing it now in our universities.

00:02:53.980 We're seeing it, uh, everywhere.

00:02:55.720 And it's apparently not that disturbing for a lot of people.

00:03:00.520 Uh, I think everyone should be talking about this at lunch and dinner, at the water cooler.

00:03:07.460 You know, wherever you're hanging out and talking about things, there is nothing, I think, more important than this.

00:03:13.600 Because once, anti-Semitism is this, uh, it's this gateway to hell. 0.93

00:03:20.840 It is a gateway to hell.

00:03:23.200 And I just ask if you are not Jewish, I'm not Jewish. 0.92

00:03:30.760 Uh, I just want you to imagine what it must feel like having your children at a university today.

00:03:37.300 Or you're at a university or just being Jewish.

00:03:45.060 We've seen this movie before.

00:03:48.360 It's not like, oh, well, they don't really mean it.

00:03:50.760 Oh, yeah, no, no, they do.

00:03:52.140 And when they're chanting this at the University of Pennsylvania, there's only one solution.

00:03:59.320 That's, that's not even veiled.

00:04:01.860 They're talking about the final solution, which was so horrific, they never said the extermination of all the Jews.

00:04:12.020 They gave it a code name, the final solution.

00:04:16.300 They didn't even want people to know about it, but apparently everybody on the left here in America and around the world are all for just letting it rip.

00:04:23.920 That, that should terrify non-Jews, let alone anyone of Jewish descent. 0.94

00:04:33.280 Julia Wax is, um, a law student at Georgetown University.

00:04:38.960 God love her.

00:04:39.880 She's also a Georgetown Law Zionist Coast President.

00:04:44.580 And Brooke Goldstein joins us.

00:04:46.240 She is the Lawfare Project founder and executive director and author of End Jewish Hatred.

00:04:52.900 Julia, Brooke, welcome to the program.

00:04:57.060 Hi, thank you for having us.

00:04:59.000 You bet.

00:04:59.620 Julia, let me start with you.

00:05:01.040 What, what are you experiencing and others experiencing on campus?

00:05:07.720 Um, I'd like to say that this is not just happening at Georgetown.

00:05:11.020 It's happening on campuses.

00:05:12.760 Everywhere.

00:05:13.440 Across, yeah, across the United States.

00:05:15.460 And the world.

00:05:16.640 Yeah, the world.

00:05:17.600 And what we're experiencing is our student groups and students individually who are posting on social media things that basically are anti-Semitic rhetoric.

00:05:28.600 Things that are denying the events that happened this past week in Israel, denying the beheading of 40 babies, saying that the Nova incident and the music festival didn't occur, trying to say that AI is how all of this is being generated.

00:05:44.540 And they started posting, you know, from the river to the sea, Palestine should be free.

00:05:49.840 Um, they are promoting events and rallies, one of which I went to, to try and understand.

00:05:55.560 I went undercover and they started chanting, we don't want no Jew state.

00:05:59.880 Um, and they started chanting, um, Zionism will fall and, um, globalize the Intifada.

00:06:08.220 And I don't even, I don't even think these people understand that the language that they're shouting is anti-Semitic.

00:06:15.480 It's so deeply embedded at this point, um, that it's time for us to take a stand and speak out.

00:06:21.660 Um, I, uh, my staff prayed for, uh, you, Julia, and people like you today that are, that are on campuses all over the world, um, that you have strength and, oh, I, I don't even know what else it would take, but that the Lord would be with you.

00:06:40.880 Um, Brooke, what is your involvement in this?

00:06:46.280 I know you've written a book on ending Jew hatred, um, but the lawfare project, what is that?

00:06:56.280 But first of all, Glenn, I want to thank you so much for your moral clarity, because this is a time when we need leadership and we need people like you speaking the truth.

00:07:06.280 It is absolutely very scary.

00:07:08.360 And what we're doing at the lawfare project is we provide pro bono legal support to Jewish students on campus who are facing a hostile environment that targets them because they are Jewish.

00:07:22.360 And I want to make absolutely clear, and you said it in your intro, this is not about a Palestinian state.

00:07:30.800 This has nothing to do with politics. 0.98

00:07:33.680 This has everything to do with Islamist, Nazi-like Jew hatred. 0.96

00:07:41.280 And the people that Julia was talking about before, they are akin to Holocaust deniers. 0.88

00:07:48.540 They are the new Hamas Holocaust deniers. 0.88

00:07:51.920 And it's always those who deny the truth and denying the truth of this recent genocide, because that's what it was, a genocide, that want to commit the same acts of atrocities again.

00:08:05.740 And that's exactly what Julia is saying they are chanting on campus.

00:08:09.440 So it is incumbent on the administration, the Biden administration, who has been giving wonderful speeches standing with Israel, to stand with the Jewish population within the United States.

00:08:27.700 That is absolutely paramount, and to do everything they can to root out these terror-supporting, terror-affiliated groups like SJP, Students for Justice in Palestine, and groups like WOL Palestine.

00:08:42.320 They must get off our campuses, because you said it yourself, Glenn.

00:08:46.520 This is a national security threat for the United States.

00:08:50.860 So, guys, I mean, this is so deep, because I know, because I've been watching it, I've been watching it and looking for it since 2005, 2003, and watching it grow.

00:09:10.860 And it is in everything now.

00:09:14.040 Black Lives Matter.

00:09:16.460 When people stood up, I kept saying, you can't stand with these people.

00:09:20.860 You might think that there's a problem with the police.

00:09:24.120 You might think there's a problem.

00:09:25.180 Well, good, let's talk about that and solve it.

00:09:27.260 But these people are trying to destroy Israel.

00:09:31.580 They're trying to destroy the traditional family. 0.95

00:09:34.640 I mean, how are you going to stop this in our universities?

00:09:38.840 It came from the universities.

00:09:42.520 Well, I think it's really important for your audience to understand the influence of foreign funding.

00:09:47.640 People in the counterterrorism community have been warning about the billions and billions of dollars coming from states like Qatar, which is the second largest state sponsor of terrorism in the world.

00:10:02.660 That are funding our institution.

00:10:06.700 Go ahead.

00:10:06.980 Pardon, Julia?

00:10:08.340 I believe Georgetown has a campus in Qatar as well.

00:10:12.100 Who does?

00:10:13.100 Tell us about that, Julia.

00:10:15.100 I don't know too much, but Georgetown does have a campus in Qatar.

00:10:18.960 How is it that our administrators are taking hundreds of millions of dollars per campus?

00:10:28.960 They're not registering as foreign agents.

00:10:31.240 They're not disclosing the memos of understanding.

00:10:34.360 What are the terms of these agreements?

00:10:36.180 I guarantee you this money we know is going to diversity, equity, inclusion.

00:10:41.860 It's going to critical race theory.

00:10:44.080 It's going to fund students groups.

00:10:46.120 And it's going to radicalize Americans to turn not just against Israel, but against America.

00:10:54.220 Julia, what does it?

00:10:57.640 I don't know if you can even answer this.

00:10:59.960 What does it feel like to be a Jew today?

00:11:02.820 Oh, it requires a lot of perseverance.

00:11:10.740 I'm definitely one of the loudest voices on my campus when it comes to this subject.

00:11:16.480 And I'm trying to stay strong for a group of people because I do have students that are unable to focus

00:11:22.520 and are forced to sit in a classroom with students who promote these rallies.

00:11:26.780 I have students texting me that they are scared to come to class.

00:11:29.480 Students who are removing their Star of David necklaces.

00:11:33.320 Students who have removed their Israeli flags from their lockers.

00:11:38.220 It's a hostile environment.

00:11:40.440 You walk down the street and you don't know who's for you and who's against you.

00:11:44.280 And I think it's important to note that this used to be a very fringe group of people on the university campuses.

00:11:50.340 This used to be a very fringe, far left group.

00:11:52.900 And now it's the majority.

00:11:54.000 And now, quite honestly, on campuses across the United States, it feels like the majority is against us.

00:12:02.440 And yesterday we hosted a survivor from the Nova Music Festival on our campus.

00:12:09.360 In 24 hours, I was able to get her to come and speak.

00:12:13.240 And before, I think I questioned how could the Holocaust even have occurred? 0.90

00:12:17.800 How could something so horrific to my people even have occurred?

00:12:21.420 And after last night and listening to this woman speak, this woman who is similar in age to me, who looks like me, who's from a similar background to me,

00:12:30.640 and hearing her, give her story about running away from the terrorists, having friends who died as she sprinted forward, now I know.

00:12:39.920 And it's a staunch and haunting realization as a Jewish person to have, to be sitting in that room with 40 other Jewish students,

00:12:51.200 listening to this woman who looks like us, who is one of us, speak about being persecuted.

00:12:57.340 And anybody who denies that Hamas is not a terrorist organization is part of the problem and is someone who is spewing anti-Semitic rhetoric and making this a much more globalized issue.

00:13:12.680 And, Julia, weren't you saying also that the survivor was then further taunted when she's come and tell her story on campus?

00:13:22.980 She did speak on the fact that even in America, she does not feel safe as a Jewish woman.

00:13:31.360 That she had friends who asked to have their locks changed.

00:13:37.600 That, you know, she still does not feel safe even being here in America due to what she's seeing occur, specifically on campuses.

00:13:45.800 You know, campuses are the think tanks of America.

00:13:48.880 This is where all of our legal ideas, this is where our new educational ideas stem from.

00:13:54.560 And it astounds me that we're looking at the most prestigious universities in the world.

00:13:58.760 Harvard, Georgetown, Columbia, Stanford, Yale, all of these massive organizations.

00:14:04.300 And they have people at their organizations.

00:14:06.580 And it's not just one, two, or three.

00:14:08.820 It's hundreds of students that are shouting this rhetoric and making it unsafe for us.

00:14:14.220 Will you please keep my phone number with you?

00:14:22.680 If there is anything I can ever do or my organizations can do for you, please reach out.

00:14:31.780 I want you to know, a long time ago, before I brought my family to Israel, I brought them to Auschwitz.

00:14:40.780 And I told them that you can't understand Israel unless you understand Auschwitz. 0.83

00:14:46.880 And I asked each of them to read a book of one of the righteous among the nations.

00:14:53.940 Because I wanted my family to decide who we would be long before any of this stuff would happen again.

00:15:04.680 I want you to know, I am not alone and you are not alone.

00:15:09.140 There are millions of us that stand with you.

00:15:14.300 We know the past, we know what the future can be if we remain silent again.

00:15:22.140 And you will always, always have a place at my table.

00:15:28.560 Thank you.

00:15:30.620 Thank you.

00:15:31.300 I really appreciate it.

00:15:32.800 God bless you, Julian.

00:15:33.740 Glenn, I want to say one thing that's just so important before we end.

00:15:37.420 You said there are millions out there.

00:15:39.440 We need you to be vocal now.

00:15:41.820 What can you do to help the Jewish community?

00:15:44.520 You can call up the administration at Georgetown right now today.

00:15:50.160 Flood them.

00:15:51.640 Flood their email inbox.

00:15:53.860 Make sure that you're calling them every single minute.

00:15:56.960 Demanding they create a campus that is safe for the Jewish students. 0.96

00:16:01.940 Demanding they kick off the student groups off campus that are taunting Jewish students and making it unsafe to exist there.

00:16:09.640 That's how we could use your help.

00:16:12.000 We will do it.

00:16:13.020 Thank you so much.

00:16:14.240 God bless.

00:16:15.020 Thank you.

00:16:15.920 It is not only Georgetown, but it's a good place to start.

00:16:20.900 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:16:28.060 All right.

00:16:28.620 I want to talk to you about backbone, spine, courage, decency, honor, integrity.

00:16:38.480 All of the things that we don't have in Washington.

00:16:41.480 I want to listen.

00:16:42.380 I want you to listen to this story from the Washington Post.

00:16:44.680 Representative Jim Jordan failed to earn enough votes to win the speaker's gavel for a second time in as many days as on Wednesday.

00:16:54.200 Representative Jim Jordan denounced the barrage of threats and calls Republicans say they've fielded since opposing Jordan's nomination to be the next House Speaker,

00:17:06.020 saying that no American should be harassed for their belief.

00:17:09.600 Not harassing you.

00:17:10.940 We've never, we, I have specifically said in your kindest voice, remind them who you work, who they work for.

00:17:21.660 Remind them that you are a constituent and you are expecting them to do X, Y, and Z.

00:17:28.480 That's not a threat.

00:17:30.480 That is a promise.

00:17:31.880 If you do this, if you do this, I'll help you win the next campaign.

00:17:37.620 If you do that, I'll do everything in my power to make sure that everybody knows it and we're going to find somebody to run against you because you don't belong there because you don't represent the people.

00:17:50.300 Now, if that is a threat that you just can't handle in Washington, then you shouldn't be there. 0.99

00:17:56.080 You spineless worm. 0.98

00:17:58.400 I'm sorry. 0.98

00:18:00.180 Jesus wouldn't have said that.

00:18:03.440 Jordan lost a second round of votes for the speakership, receiving one fewer vote on Wednesday's ballot than he did on Tuesday.

00:18:10.640 Though he flipped two Republican votes in his favor on the second ballot, he lost four of his GOP colleagues.

00:18:16.500 Representative Marie Antoinette, I guess, Miller-Meeks, she is from Iowa. 0.99

00:18:26.940 She said in a statement that after she flipped from voting for Jordan on Tuesday to another Republican, Kay Granger, Texas, on Wednesday, she received credible death threats and a barrage of threatening calls.

00:18:38.040 If you have credible death threats, then you should report them.

00:18:42.380 And credible death threats should be taken seriously. 1.00

00:18:46.500 If anyone who is calling their congressman or their senator or anybody else, anyone, and threatening their lives, you are a moron and part of the problem. 1.00

00:19:00.700 And also a criminal. 1.00

00:19:01.800 Yes, and a criminal.

00:19:02.640 That is a criminal thing to do, to call up and threaten someone's life.

00:19:05.360 And they should be prosecuted.

00:19:06.400 And obviously, I would assume that's the end of this, right?

00:19:09.940 If this really happened, certainly they will go down that road and proceed down that road.

00:19:15.560 If it's just a thing you say to the media to try to vilify conservatives who are on the radio and on podcasts, that's another story.

00:19:24.300 Because I find it really hard to believe.

00:19:27.880 Not that they, look, we get death threats.

00:19:31.300 You get them all the time.

00:19:32.640 Half of them are from me.

00:19:35.000 You know, credible death threats are different than things you read on Twitter.

00:19:40.540 Correct.

00:19:40.760 Okay, totally different thing.

00:19:42.400 That's not to say that you should be doing it on Twitter, but we all know what the internet does to people.

00:19:47.560 There's, to say credible death threats.

00:19:49.960 We've had credible death threats.

00:19:51.440 Yes.

00:19:51.640 We've had times where we've had to bring in all sorts of security.

00:19:55.920 The Israel is... 0.98

00:19:56.760 I'm in one of those times right now.

00:19:59.900 There we go.

00:20:00.780 Restoring courage.

00:20:01.560 You went to Israel.

00:20:02.420 What did they tell you about your event right before it started?

00:20:06.140 That it's no longer your event.

00:20:07.940 It is a military operation.

00:20:10.380 Yes.

00:20:10.780 Because there was a suicide vest that was out.

00:20:14.340 They couldn't find it.

00:20:16.160 And it was our event that was marked for it.

00:20:21.200 That's a credible death threat.

00:20:24.220 Right.

00:20:24.400 A credible death threat is not, oh, yeah, well, you should go.

00:20:28.120 It's something that's on Twitter.

00:20:29.800 That's not what that is.

00:20:30.400 But beyond that, beyond this, okay, number one, I have high amounts of questions as to whether this actually occurred or whether it was actually credible.

00:20:37.780 And certainly that it was, you know, if this was someone from an audience of a conservative show of some sort, shame on you.

00:20:45.240 You should go to jail if you made a credible threat to a congressperson.

00:20:48.300 But the second part of this is more important.

00:20:50.180 Okay, wait a minute.

00:20:50.900 We'll get into it in a second.

00:20:51.980 Let me finish this.

00:20:53.340 No American should accost another for their beliefs, Jordan said, formerly known on formerly known as Twitter.

00:21:00.100 X, after Miller Meeks announcement, we condemn all threats against our colleagues, and it is imperative that we come together.

00:21:06.860 Stop.

00:21:07.420 It's abhorrent.

00:21:08.340 You're right.

00:21:09.300 He is right.

00:21:10.720 I condemn all credible threats, all death threats.

00:21:15.700 I don't I don't want you yelling at anybody, even even especially the secretaries, because they have nothing to do with anything.

00:21:22.920 And even death threats that aren't credible, I condemn.

00:21:25.780 I condemn.

00:21:26.120 We all condemn that.

00:21:27.340 You shouldn't do it.

00:21:28.700 Correct.

00:21:29.480 Miller Meeks was among a number of lawmakers who voiced concern about threats and harassment they received after voting for speaker candidates other than Jordan.

00:21:36.580 According to the Minnesota Post, phones of the office of Pete Staber, a Republican from Minnesota, rang off the hook Wednesday after he joined the Republicans opposing Jordan's speakership.

00:21:49.020 A Staber staffer told the Minnesota Post that most callers were upset with the congressman's vote.

00:21:54.800 The staffer added most calls came from outside the lawmakers district.

00:21:59.300 Steve Womack from Arkansas told reporters after Wednesday vote that the opposition to the Ohio Republican among the expanding group of lawmakers who voted against him is, quote, profound.

00:22:10.660 Womack, who voted for Steve Scalise on both ballots, argued that the Republican opposition to Jordan was not coordinated, but rather an organic development among members from different committee assignments, tenures and states.

00:22:23.860 The commonality between them was frustration with Jordan's hardline reputation and the tactics he employed to win over support.

00:22:31.480 After the vote, John Rutherford, Republican from Florida, no excuse for you, elaborated on some of the threats that had been leveled at his staff and placed the blame squarely on Jordan for facilitating a culture of aggressive and extremist rhetoric. 0.94

00:22:47.540 That is ridiculous. 0.99

00:22:50.820 Ridiculous. 0.99

00:22:52.280 He is absolutely responsible for it, Rutherford said of Jordan. 0.97

00:22:55.620 And look, it doesn't work, especially against people like Steve Scalise and others.

00:22:59.620 Nobody likes to have their arm twisted talking about individuals, wives and those sorts of things.

00:23:05.320 That's just not acceptable.

00:23:07.200 Now, what is he?

00:23:08.300 What is he referring to?

00:23:09.740 Listen to this.

00:23:10.860 Rutherford appeared to be referring to an anonymous text sent to the wife of Republican Don Bacon of Nebraska, quote, urging her to talk to her husband and talk him into supporting Jordan.

00:23:25.340 Texts to Bacon's wife were reviewed by The Washington Post.

00:23:29.480 One urged her to tell the congressman to step up and be a leader.

00:23:34.540 Another asked her why her husband is causing chaos by not supporting Jim Jordan.

00:23:39.940 It's wrong that these folks have no boundaries anymore.

00:23:43.120 We don't live in fear, but holding people accountable is needed.

00:23:46.100 Excuse me?

00:23:47.260 You should see the things that my wife gets on her phone. 0.98

00:23:56.400 My wife talks to me about it probably every two days.

00:24:00.580 How do people get my phone number?

00:24:03.800 Why do I keep getting?

00:24:05.320 Listen to this one.

00:24:06.440 So stand in line, and I would, my wife would not complain if she heard, why isn't your husband stepping up and being a leader?

00:24:19.080 Why is your husband causing chaos by not supporting so-and-so?

00:24:25.840 That's not a threat.

00:24:27.480 Now, I don't agree with reaching out to people's wives and everything else.

00:24:31.360 And nor is Jim Jordan, by the way, as everybody knows.

00:24:35.560 You don't do that.

00:24:37.300 But that's not a threat.

00:24:40.080 The Idaho Republican Party said in a news release Wednesday that it, too, had been inundated with emails and phone calls from registered Iowa voters expressing their profound disappointment with Congressman Mike Simpson's decision that day.

00:24:54.640 The decision voting for Scalise.

00:24:56.460 The people of Idaho expect Mike Simpson to represent their concerns and prioritize their needs above political games and partisan divisions.

00:25:05.900 The statement from the GOP in Idaho said the true measure of his success will be in his steadfast defense of the Constitution and the tangible benefits he delivers to the hardworking families of Idaho.

00:25:20.260 We will be watching.

00:25:22.340 Is that a threat?

00:25:24.240 Because that's what I believe.

00:25:26.460 And when you are not representing the people now, those people in New York, you probably did what your people are fine, fine with.

00:25:38.760 That's fine.

00:25:40.920 That's fine.

00:25:41.740 But don't think that others aren't going to run against you.

00:25:47.780 Don't think that it is a threat.

00:25:50.380 It's a promise.

00:25:51.540 Because you do the things that keep the Constitution strong.

00:25:56.940 You do the things that do not cause chaos.

00:26:01.400 And that's why I've been harsh on on.

00:26:05.580 What's his name from Florida?

00:26:08.060 That's Gates.

00:26:09.000 Gates.

00:26:09.500 This is why I've been harsh on on Gates the whole time, because what was your plan?

00:26:15.300 This caused chaos.

00:26:16.540 But I have to tell you, this is what I think the problem is, and I think this is where you're going, and I'd like to hear your opinion on it.

00:26:27.100 I don't think this is just about, you know, Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck or Jim Jordan.

00:26:32.240 This is once again the arrogance of the party leadership in Washington that despises the American people, that think they know better than all of the people that live in their districts.

00:26:49.940 They think they know better.

00:26:51.440 And the people in their districts are saying, defend the Constitution of the United States.

00:26:57.460 Stop spending so much money.

00:27:00.320 These are not radical ideas.

00:27:02.520 And they are just using this because they know the Washington Post and everybody else will whip everybody up into a frenzy, and it will teach those constitutionalists a lesson.

00:27:18.000 Don't call.

00:27:19.120 Well, you know what?

00:27:19.740 If that's what you want to teach, that's fine.

00:27:21.760 Here's the lesson I'd like you to learn from this.

00:27:25.180 Double your efforts to get these weasels out of office. 1.00

00:27:28.820 I don't know if he can, but if there is a weak person, there's no excuse, no excuse in Texas to have weasels.

00:27:40.680 None.

00:27:42.060 In New York, I get it.

00:27:44.560 Not in this state.

00:27:47.820 Not in Utah.

00:27:49.580 Idaho.

00:27:50.220 Idaho.

00:27:51.480 Wyoming.

00:27:53.120 Not in Montana.

00:27:55.420 What are you doing?

00:27:57.120 Get them out.

00:27:57.960 Get them out.

00:27:59.140 Yeah, and this is, of course, their way of trying to parlay all of this into an effort to hurt who they see as their enemies.

00:28:06.840 And it will work as well for them as it did for Lynn Cheney.

00:28:11.540 Liz Cheney?

00:28:12.380 Liz Cheney, whatever her name is.

00:28:13.860 Yeah, I mean, I think, look, the people they see as the enemy are you, right?

00:28:18.460 Not you, Glenn Beck, but you in the audience who listen to Glenn Beck, right?

00:28:21.980 Like, you're the enemy.

00:28:24.060 You're the problem to them.

00:28:26.020 And this is something that they see as they can feed this stuff, leak it to the mainstream media.

00:28:33.020 Of course, they'll report it gleefully.

00:28:34.700 And they will say, you know, who's really the problem?

00:28:37.560 It's these talk show hosts and the people who listen to them doing all these terrible things.

00:28:43.740 And, I mean, frankly, Glenn, you know, look, if...

00:28:48.200 Because they're saying, basically, you know what?

00:28:50.380 Now I'll never vote for Jim Jordan because he made people call my office and let's just even entertain it.

00:28:57.880 I know he never, never, he didn't ask us to do that.

00:29:01.060 No.

00:29:01.180 We said that because we think it was important for people to be involved in the process of government.

00:29:05.380 I'm so sorry about that.

00:29:07.220 But look, let's just say, let's just entertain this, this world.

00:29:10.940 And let's just say a couple of people did call and say nasty things to the secretary of one of these guys.

00:29:18.140 If that is your determining factor of who you're voting for for Speaker of the House, you should be out of Congress immediately.

00:29:25.640 Because some random person said something mean to you on the phone?

00:29:29.840 You're going to change your vote for who's the Speaker of the House? 0.99

00:29:34.900 You should be, you're pathetic if that is your position. 0.99

00:29:38.140 And that's the one you're admitting to. 0.99

00:29:40.640 You're admitting that I'll never vote for him now after I got that mean call from that lady in Iowa. 0.99

00:29:50.240 I mean, how pathetic do you have to be? 0.93

00:29:53.780 How many times have, I just did it again today and I don't want any names, you know, I don't like him for examples. 0.97

00:30:00.200 But I just wrote an email today. 0.96

00:30:02.960 Somebody who has treated me like absolute garbage. 0.94

00:30:06.400 Somebody who has, you know, done a lot to not necessarily sing the praises of me. 0.96

00:30:12.300 And I just did it today.

00:30:14.180 I wrote and said, hey, I will help you in any way possible.

00:30:19.640 I have nothing to gain.

00:30:21.120 I could play the game of I'm going to get you now.

00:30:25.100 I don't.

00:30:26.640 Why?

00:30:27.280 A.

00:30:27.820 It's childish.

00:30:28.920 Second reason. 0.91

00:30:31.940 We're in a crisis.

00:30:33.820 We need to help everyone we can.

00:30:37.180 I don't care if I have a personal problem with you over X, Y or Z.

00:30:43.820 What are you doing?

00:30:45.240 Is it good?

00:30:46.300 Will it help?

00:30:47.900 Yes.

00:30:48.720 Count me in.

00:30:50.480 Grow up.

00:30:52.560 Republicans.

00:30:53.920 Grow up.

00:30:54.780 The best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:30:57.200 I want to talk to you a little bit about everything that is going on, but I want to frame it with Israel and Hamas. 0.66

00:31:04.620 I'd like to make an appeal for reason.

00:31:09.840 Now, bear with me.

00:31:11.940 In Israel, Joe Biden said justice must be done.

00:31:17.040 But I caution this.

00:31:18.800 While you feel that rage, don't be consumed by it. 0.99

00:31:23.460 After 9-11, I remember really singing loudly and turning it up and we'll put a boot up your ass. 0.99

00:31:45.120 You know, every time that country song came on, God bless Toby Keith. 0.99

00:31:51.280 That way we were enraged.

00:31:54.840 He said after 9-11, we were enraged in the United States while we sought justice and got justice.

00:32:00.040 We also made mistakes.

00:32:01.160 Yeah, and I don't think that's because we were enraged. 1.00

00:32:06.480 That's because we had idiots that were running things. 1.00

00:32:11.980 But for the most part, I agree with good old Uncle Joe here wholeheartedly. 1.00

00:32:17.600 He's right.

00:32:18.540 And I want to be on the record saying in this case, he is right.

00:32:23.200 It's critical that you recognize he's right on this.

00:32:26.920 Important decisions should not be made on the basis of strong emotion.

00:32:33.880 They should be made on the basis of reason and morality.

00:32:38.640 It's not enough to feel.

00:32:41.360 We must think ideally for ourselves.

00:32:45.700 Now, I think this sounds a little funny coming from the political side,

00:32:51.240 which flooded culture with the idea that really it's how you feel at any given time.

00:32:58.240 And that's the most important thing in the world.

00:33:00.800 Not just to you, but the whole world must accommodate how you feel.

00:33:05.100 If you feel like a woman, well, then you are one. 0.95

00:33:09.040 And we should all treat you like one and applaud you for feeling that way.

00:33:13.460 And everyone must say you're the most beautiful, mannish-looking woman they've ever seen.

00:33:20.320 Never mind biology.

00:33:22.700 That's not the science we met.

00:33:24.960 If you feel oppressed, then you are.

00:33:28.000 Even if you're a millionaire paid to bounce a ball in America.

00:33:33.020 And if anyone exposes you to uncomfortable thoughts or opinion,

00:33:36.720 or let me, I wish I had a pair of pearls here I could clutch.

00:33:40.820 They challenge the validity of your feelings.

00:33:43.460 They're violent extremists, and they must be depersoned right now.

00:33:48.880 But let's forget all about that, because I'm sure Joe was considering all that when he said what he said,

00:33:54.280 which is right.

00:33:56.180 Fear, anger, even righteous rage.

00:34:01.420 They all have their place.

00:34:03.300 They help keep us alive in a crisis.

00:34:06.160 But they also get you killed if you don't balance everything.

00:34:09.560 They cannot drive your decision-making process.

00:34:14.980 That's why we have a conscience, and we have reason.

00:34:20.080 Need examples?

00:34:21.640 Okay.

00:34:22.560 COVID.

00:34:24.220 Freak out, everybody.

00:34:25.480 We're all going to die.

00:34:26.580 Have you seen what they're doing in China?

00:34:28.380 They're welding people into their homes. 0.96

00:34:30.260 It's got to be horrible.

00:34:31.960 What did we do?

00:34:33.560 Well, I think we did the logical thing.

00:34:35.600 We said, hey, let's cut off all the transportation right now from the rest of the world

00:34:40.500 until we get a handle on what's going on.

00:34:42.740 And then fear, fear, fear, fear, fear. 0.94

00:34:44.680 You're killing your grandmother. 0.99

00:34:46.300 You're killing your great-great-grandmother. 0.99

00:34:48.320 You may not even be born because somewhere Marty McFly is there with a picture of you

00:34:53.400 not getting the COVID vaccine, and you're currently disappearing off of that Polaroid.

00:34:58.800 And so is your grandmother.

00:35:01.420 What did fear make us do?

00:35:05.120 How about the Patriot Act after 9-11?

00:35:08.680 It was a wave of fear. 1.00

00:35:10.580 The war, that was idiots. 1.00

00:35:14.940 That was a hundred different political reasons. 1.00

00:35:18.940 But the Patriot Act, that was a political thing that was waiting in the wings before 9-11

00:35:26.320 that nobody thought they could ever get past until fear.

00:35:31.160 How about calls for anti-Second Amendment legislation after every single mass shooting?

00:35:35.800 Calls for legalized infanticide, powered by the fear of imaginary theocratic pro-lifers

00:35:43.060 that are going to put us in a bonnet and a red dress. 1.00

00:35:47.520 Too much of the time, emotion is manufactured and manipulated,

00:35:52.260 like it was yesterday, on the mall of the Capitol.

00:35:57.660 You know, right before the insurrection.

00:36:01.420 This is what it means, never let a crisis go to waste.

00:36:05.320 A crisis allows you to manipulate people because they're afraid they're not thinking clearly.

00:36:14.600 Just now, U.S. lawmakers are proposing regulating cryptocurrency because Hamas has been using it.

00:36:22.580 Hamas? Hamas is bad, right?

00:36:25.460 They might use it.

00:36:26.980 They might use X as well.

00:36:30.040 We've got to take away X from everybody. 0.63

00:36:32.320 And the more freedom that goes away, and usually not even slowing the bad guys down,

00:36:39.340 the more freedom you lose, the more ground they gain.

00:36:43.540 Think of MS-13 or Hamas.

00:36:45.920 Do you think they abide by gun laws?

00:36:49.780 Now, there's plenty of fear in Israel today, I'm sure, and rage.

00:36:54.100 But those are not the reasons Israel's in a war with Hamas.

00:36:59.580 Israel is not seeking to lash out.

00:37:04.420 Israel is hopefully planning, coldly and rationally, the best possible way, 1.00

00:37:10.520 to limit people who claim their whole reason for being is to kill every Jew.

00:37:16.740 Now, why would they be planning this? 0.95

00:37:21.640 Well, that's what reason demands.

00:37:25.080 Because after the monsters get in and slaughter your children, 1.00

00:37:28.900 after they rape your daughters and take them to Gaza to be tortured, 1.00

00:37:32.400 you don't storm in unprepared into what Hamas has spent 20 years turning into a death trap. 0.99

00:37:38.920 You don't do that.

00:37:40.020 You don't start killing everything in sight, hoping that blood will satisfy blood,

00:37:45.400 because blood never satisfies blood.

00:37:48.980 But just as important, just as important,

00:37:53.220 you also do not allow yourself to go back to normal as soon as the emotion fades.

00:37:59.320 That is also why God gave us a conscience and reason.

00:38:04.660 The world saw the images.

00:38:07.540 We felt the horror.

00:38:08.920 We were with Israel for a time, and then the emotion starts to fade,

00:38:14.780 because we're goldfish.

00:38:18.620 If we let that be the end, then evil will remain.

00:38:23.860 It will not only remain, it will grow, and we will be responsible for that growth.

00:38:29.320 This is why the fast food instant gratification culture is so dangerous.

00:38:33.980 Again, we're goldfish.

00:38:35.560 You may not hear me talk in the last few days about the economy or ESG and the Great Reset or Ukraine

00:38:42.240 or what's being taught in our schools run by radical leftists under the thin mask of teachers' unions.

00:38:48.600 I'm not talking about the impeachment investigations or the hundreds of other topics that I am following and watching closely.

00:38:58.920 I haven't forgotten them.

00:39:00.620 I'm not a goldfish.

00:39:02.560 You haven't either.

00:39:04.020 We're keeping a close eye on all of it.

00:39:06.780 But reason and conscience tells me this is a major spiritual test for the entire world.

00:39:15.640 This will decide whether we are a force for good or a force for evil,

00:39:23.520 because this comes down of choosing life or choosing death.

00:39:30.240 And with all the stories that are happening, what do I do after I talk about it?

00:39:35.660 Okay, usually I rant, but when it comes down to it, I ask you to do very specific things.

00:39:44.940 And sometimes, once today, I beg you, please.

00:39:50.240 And everything I ask you usually revolves around the two P's. 1.00

00:39:56.420 PP, as I like to call it.

00:39:58.960 Plan and prepare.

00:40:02.320 Prepare for impact.

00:40:04.800 What does that mean?

00:40:07.320 Well, if you're at war with Hamas, you plan, you prepare, you arm yourself with information,

00:40:15.760 and in their case, with guns, and then you, as an army, go out and go after the monsters.

00:40:22.280 Because that's what reason and morality actually dictate.

00:40:27.140 Plan and prepare.

00:40:29.500 And then act.

00:40:30.840 And if you don't, the monsters remain and get worse, and they'll be back, and it'll be worse

00:40:36.720 again next time, and there'll be more and worse monsters, until you either fight back

00:40:42.280 or allow yourself to be extinguished.

00:40:44.740 But that is the choice we are all facing in almost every aspect of our lives right now.

00:40:50.840 Are we going to stand up and be morally clear that there is a good and evil?

00:40:58.300 And I still recognize one, or hopefully both.

00:41:03.320 In Israel, the blood of the victims of Hamas screams out of the ground, screams their pain.

00:41:16.980 But we should be hearing the screams of warning, one that reason and moral human beings must

00:41:26.720 heed and act upon.

00:41:29.360 That's why you go in and destroy Hamas.

00:41:32.520 Not so we're even.

00:41:34.180 That's what a third grader would do.

00:41:37.100 That's why you are supposed to watch your borders.

00:41:41.200 That's why you don't allow a surveillance state with total control.

00:41:45.400 It's why you take porn out of the schools and keep everything away from the kids. 0.61

00:41:50.980 It's not emotion.

00:41:52.120 It's not hatred.

00:41:53.700 It's cold, calculated reason that's guided by a set of principles we used to find self-evident.

00:42:02.680 Guided by morality.

00:42:06.500 It's these times that God gave us reason and a moral sense.

00:42:13.060 It's for these times.

00:42:17.040 Animals have fear.

00:42:19.040 But they don't have reason and moral sense.

00:42:24.120 Evil has to be seen.

00:42:26.000 It has to be named and opposed.

00:42:29.560 Not for the past victims, but for future ones.

00:42:33.300 Not for Jews or Israelis, but for all of us.

00:42:36.520 Not for the dead children, but for the ones who are still living, who need us to take care of the monsters

00:42:41.780 that we have allowed into our societies, into the very bedrooms we're supposed to keep them safe.

00:42:48.200 Your pulpit this weekend should thunder the truth.

00:42:56.500 Jewish, Christian, and even sane, moderate Muslim pulpits, if any can be found.

00:43:01.600 I'm waiting.

00:43:02.780 Thunder from the pulpit.

00:43:05.260 Like they once thundered in America's past.

00:43:08.080 And like never before.

00:43:09.580 With fire and righteous anger.

00:43:12.280 But with clear, cutting light of divine truth and reason.

00:43:18.200 They must thunder against evil.

00:43:21.120 But also thunder for good, for life, for order.

00:43:26.240 God's order.

00:43:27.460 Not our own.

00:43:28.800 Man creates chaos.

00:43:30.480 Every day I try to think, how can I inspire you to be a better person today than you were yesterday?

00:43:41.760 And I don't know.

00:43:43.880 I really don't.

00:43:46.820 I don't know if you're sitting on the fence what you're waiting for.

00:43:50.820 Whom do you fear?

00:43:52.320 The media?

00:43:53.680 Donors?

00:43:54.860 People in power?

00:43:56.860 A college professor?

00:43:57.960 Your boss?

00:43:59.680 Being unpopular?

00:44:00.740 Defunded?

00:44:01.360 Depersoned?

00:44:03.740 The only fear worth holding on to is not the kind that makes you cower.

00:44:10.320 It's the kind that makes you stand up and speak truth.

00:44:14.260 Make demands of yourself.

00:44:16.460 And challenge those who are around you.

00:44:18.960 The one fear that causes us to make the world more like heaven and less like hell is the fear of the Lord and the God Almighty.

00:44:30.880 Fix reason firmly in her seat. 0.99

00:44:35.600 And may God help us all.

00:44:38.180 Na na na na na na.

00:44:40.960 Na na na na.

00:44:42.200 Na na na na na.

00:44:44.060 Na na na na na.

00:44:44.300 Na na na na na.

00:44:45.580 Na na na na na na naa.

00:44:46.620 Na na na na na naa na na na.
