The Glenn Beck Program - Best of the Program ｜ Guests： Larry Elder & Darren Beattie ｜ 8⧸23⧸23

00:00:00.680 Stu, what's the biggest question you want answered?

00:00:04.000 They may not even get to.

00:00:06.120 I mean, well, I have hope that maybe this is going to be a good debate.

00:00:11.760 Who is Doug Burgum?

00:00:13.360 Right.

00:00:13.840 That's what I was thinking.

00:00:14.520 They should ask that.

00:00:15.420 That is a big question.

00:00:16.660 He's going to be there on stage.

00:00:18.000 I don't even know if he knows.

00:00:19.360 Right.

00:00:19.840 It's a little like Mike Pence.

00:00:21.340 He doesn't know who he's targeting right now.

00:00:24.620 Who is the Mike Pence voter?

00:00:27.140 That's another big question.

00:00:28.760 I don't know.

00:00:29.480 There's a few of them, apparently, in every poll, but I never met one.

00:00:32.780 And Burgum may not be there because he hurt his Achilles heel.

00:00:37.940 Yeah, tore his Achilles tendon.

00:00:39.160 That's tough.

00:00:39.860 Yeah, that's real tough.

00:00:41.280 But he might make an extra podium for Larry Elder, who is on today's podcast.

00:00:47.480 We talk about several things of real importance on today's program,

00:00:53.840 and then also a lot of political talk about tonight's broadcast with us at 8 p.m. Eastern.

00:01:01.860 We're going to cover pre-debate and then the debate and then post-debate.

00:01:08.400 That's the way it usually works here.

00:01:09.780 We've tried the debate and then pre- and post-after, but it doesn't seem to work, and the flow isn't quite as good.

00:01:17.400 So we're going to try the usual way tonight.

00:01:20.360 Brought to you by Relief Factor.

00:01:21.680 You know how when you try to explain what it's like to live with pain of somebody who doesn't really experience the kind of deep pain that you have,

00:01:28.360 and their eyes kind of glaze over, and they're like, you know what?

00:01:30.900 Cheer up.

00:01:31.480 I mean, you just got to get out more.

00:02:20.700 You're listening to The Best of the Glenn Beck Program.

00:02:28.440 Welcome to the program.

00:02:30.000 Over the weekend, Ezra Levant.

00:02:32.020 The Rebel News founder, host of the Ezra Levant Show.

00:02:36.800 Rebel News is kind of like the Blaze in Canada.

00:02:41.720 They are really, really great reporters.

00:02:45.540 They do a lot of really great work.

00:02:48.080 And currently, they're doing the truthaboutmaui.com.

00:02:52.360 And Ezra was out in Maui, and he joins us now.

00:02:56.800 Hello, Ezra.

00:02:58.480 Hi, Glenn.

00:02:59.320 Thanks for having me.

00:03:00.060 You bet.

00:03:00.460 So tell me what you saw and what is happening.

00:03:05.240 I saw a report yesterday where reporters and other people were asking the mayor, how many

00:03:12.560 children are missing?

00:03:14.900 And the mayor said, I don't know.

00:03:17.600 And they're like, come on.

00:03:18.680 Of course you know.

00:03:19.960 Yeah.

00:03:20.280 How many children?

00:03:21.560 What is happening?

00:03:24.260 It's so extremely sad.

00:03:26.060 And I want to make the comparison to 9-11.

00:03:30.840 And obviously, this was not an evil terrorist attack.

00:03:34.860 But the devastation on this small town called Lahaina, which has about 12,000 people, is disproportionate.

00:03:43.140 It's hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of people were burned alive.

00:03:47.920 And the place is stunned.

00:03:50.860 People are, well, he'll give me an example.

00:03:54.140 I met someone who had a friend who refused to get a DNA sample because they're matching.

00:04:00.120 That's one of the ways they're trying to identify these burnt bodies.

00:04:04.200 And this person said, no, no, no.

00:04:07.800 My loved one's going to come back any day now.

00:04:12.040 The story was told to me by someone else on the ground in Lahaina.

00:04:16.180 So they're taking DNA tests because they're identifying bodies.

00:04:20.120 There are sniffer dogs by police from all across America who have flown to Maui.

00:04:26.980 And they're going through the burnt remains.

00:04:29.720 But people are in denial.

00:04:31.340 They're from shock.

00:04:32.580 They're saying, no, no, they'll come back alive.

00:04:35.180 It's almost like in 9-11 in New York when people said, no, no, he'll come home.

00:04:39.920 He'll come home.

00:04:40.560 I know it.

00:04:41.560 And the pain and the sorrow is so deep.

00:04:45.460 But imagine hundreds and hundreds of people missing in a community that small.

00:04:50.300 There's no family that's left untouched.

00:04:53.580 And when you understand the depth of the wound to that small community, other things start to make sense.

00:05:00.840 Let me give you an example.

00:05:02.580 I saw before I went over on Twitter, some people saying, well, police are locking down the area.

00:05:07.760 They're not letting journalists in.

00:05:09.660 What are they covering up?

00:05:11.260 And that was one of the reasons I went out there.

00:05:13.240 I thought, yeah, that's odd.

00:05:14.940 Why aren't they letting journalists in?

00:05:16.440 And so I arrived myself.

00:05:18.400 And as I was in the taxi going to line up, there was indeed a police checkpoint.

00:05:24.800 And they pulled us over.

00:05:26.800 Well, Glenn, it's because there's homes that they don't want to have looted.

00:05:31.420 And it would be like a 9-11.

00:05:33.960 Again, a terrible comparison, but it's one that seems to fit.

00:05:37.920 You wouldn't just allow anyone to go traipsing through ground zero when there's still recovery efforts going on.

00:05:43.360 Now, they said, show us proof you live there or we won't let you through.

00:05:49.280 Well, I was bringing with me a Starlink radio dish, a satellite dish, because where we were going, cell phone service and Internet still wasn't up.

00:05:59.120 For two weeks, it would be knocked out.

00:06:01.120 So I showed the cop that I was bringing this dish in for people, and he let me go through.

00:06:05.720 And indeed, that was one of the interesting things is that imagine this terrible thing happened to the community, but no Internet, no phones, nothing that runs on the Internet, like credit card machines.

00:06:19.780 So any businesses, restaurants, whatever in the area all shut down.

00:06:23.520 And I talked to one husband and wife who said that they hadn't seen any help for days.

00:06:30.840 The first official interaction they had was an airplane, they said, flying by with loudspeakers, telling them about closures and where to get help.

00:06:39.960 Like imagine a slow-moving airplane with loudspeakers sort of saying, do this, do that.

00:06:45.920 But it was a stunning destruction of the community and then putting them in a kind of silence.

00:06:57.480 And in fact, when we brought the Starlink, we were staying in an apartment.

00:07:02.120 We gave people in the apartment complex the Wi-Fi password to the satellite.

00:07:08.100 It was the first time they had access to news about what had happened to them, and everything else had been word of mouth.

00:07:14.440 So any of my point is, go ahead.

00:07:17.080 No, I was just going to say, we only have a couple more minutes left, and I just want to know that there are, I saw your report over the weekend.

00:07:27.120 There's a lot of people that are now helping, and I know they refused FEMA help, thank God.

00:07:35.980 But the government of Hawaii is disturbing.

00:07:40.820 The governor saying, we're just going to take this land and make it into Memorial, then Joe Biden saying that we're going to build back better, we're going to build better homes, all the way to we didn't turn on the water, we didn't turn off the electricity in time,

00:07:59.300 and we didn't blow the air horn.

00:08:02.760 Well, you know, the air siren is one thing, but are you telling me you don't have any emergency response?

00:08:09.300 There's no, like, Amber Alert for everybody's phones in Hawaii?

00:08:12.500 You couldn't access that?

00:08:13.860 It doesn't make any sense.

00:08:15.660 None of it.

00:08:16.200 Well, and that's the thing is that around Maui, they have these poles with sirens on them, alarms, and they test them, the residents told me, the first of every month.

00:08:29.880 And it's for tidal waves, it's for other catastrophes, they didn't turn them on.

00:08:33.880 And the official response was, we didn't want people going to the fire, because people would have thought it was a tsunami, the government said.

00:08:42.500 They would not have thought it was, well, I know, it's a crazy thing.

00:08:46.400 So they had these sirens that never went off, and you're right about this Amber Alert system.

00:08:51.260 You might remember a while back, there was a false alarm in Hawaii about an inbound missile, and that panicked everybody.

00:08:58.740 So, and you had terrible government failure that compounded everything.

00:09:06.560 And then the reaction by the president, I think, shocked and hurt people.

00:09:13.960 His first comment was, no comment, and that stung people.

00:09:18.800 We saw residents who had that word, no comment, and a huge banner on their house when the president came by.

00:09:26.040 People were giving the finger to the motorcade, our reporter saw.

00:09:29.300 And even when he was there, Joe Biden talked about himself and a little kitchen fire he had when he was younger.

00:09:36.260 He was tone deaf.

00:09:37.740 And I heard the FEMA guy on the radio when I was driving in Maui.

00:09:41.620 And we've given $3 million.

00:09:45.600 And I thought, my God, there are hundreds of houses burnt to a crisp.

00:09:49.700 There's probably, God forbid, up to 1,000 people that have been killed.

00:09:53.340 And I just, you know what people were saying is, comparing the amount of help versus the amount of help that Ukraine got.

00:10:03.400 And this is a very Democrat voting place, but they were just, this isn't even a partisan thing.

00:10:09.740 They felt so totally ignored, betrayed, and undone by their own government.

00:10:14.520 But Glenn, the number one feeling is tragedy and loss and grief.

00:10:18.340 And they haven't even, in many cases, come to terms with the scale of their damage.

00:10:24.580 And then, yeah, the weird things, like the governor saying, well, we want to essentially expropriate the land for our own purposes.

00:10:30.740 Now, that feeds conspiracy theories.

00:10:33.460 I tell you, the pain in that place, Glenn, I just can't help but think of 9-11.

00:10:40.280 Because this was Maui's 9-11 in terms of death toll and failure of systems.

00:10:46.140 And this wound will take a lifetime to heal.

00:10:52.000 Ezra, I think that you and I are both like brothers from a different mother.

00:10:56.220 Because I know you've raised, with your audience, an awful lot of money to help the people in Maui.

00:11:02.200 And Mercury One is up to about a million and a half now that we have sent out.

00:11:07.880 And I just appreciate your heart and your reporting.

00:11:11.540 Thanks for being on with us.

00:11:12.620 Thank you, Mr.

00:11:13.340 You bet.

00:11:13.800 Thank you very much.

00:11:14.600 Let me play something.

00:11:16.560 You know, when he talks about the pain, I want to play something that I saw last night.

00:11:22.540 And this is just a regular person that was angry with Biden's speech.

00:11:31.460 And I just want you to hear the depth of this guy.

00:11:35.820 Cut three, please.

00:11:36.580 It is almost impossible to believe that this guy, that this old man, this Walmart greeter, this fake installed president. 0.99

00:11:48.080 One, why the f*** is his wife with him wherever he goes? 0.99

00:11:51.000 We didn't hire this person. 0.99

00:11:52.140 I didn't hire you, Joe. 1.00

00:11:53.320 You're a traitor. 1.00

00:11:54.200 I know what you are. 1.00

00:11:55.220 I know what Kamala is.

00:11:56.860 I know what the Democratic Party is.

00:11:58.920 And I know that we have a constitutional crisis of epic proportion.

00:12:03.240 But hearing you talk about your house that, you know, had a little fire.

00:12:07.340 You almost lost your cat in your Corvette.

00:12:10.540 There are children that were incinerated to ash. 1.00

00:12:15.400 You f***ing old man. 1.00

00:12:18.960 You vile human being. 1.00

00:12:21.760 The only way you feel you're able to communicate and you have some kind of, you know, you're so out of touch with the common man, you don't even understand how to speak to them. 0.98

00:12:30.280 The only way you think you can establish commonality with them is to lie.

00:12:33.980 That the same thing happened to you, no matter what the tragedy is.

00:12:37.500 Your son wasn't killed in action, by the way.

00:12:40.280 You ousted him burned down.

00:12:41.820 Your children weren't burned to death.

00:12:43.760 How dare you get up there and speak this way.

00:12:48.760 Your job is to go there and assuage them in a way that you talk to them about their loss.

00:12:54.480 That you can't imagine what it's like.

00:12:56.520 That you can't imagine what it's like never to find the bodies of the poor children that were sent home from schools that died alone.

00:13:04.980 Alone.

00:13:06.460 In fear.

00:13:08.060 Without their parents or a guardian.

00:13:10.820 That the most abhorrent thing happened. 1.00

00:13:12.580 You're a disgusting, despicable. 1.00

00:13:16.380 You're too old. 1.00

00:13:17.580 So I think I need to step down.

00:13:19.700 I think he is very clear.

00:13:21.980 I saw this last night and what I what I pulled from it.

00:13:28.520 Was your Corvette and your cat while children were incinerated.

00:13:41.080 Incinerated alone by themselves.

00:13:46.260 That's true.

00:13:48.680 And how we have a government.

00:13:53.060 It's not just him.

00:13:54.940 The whole government seems really unresponsive to the people at all.

00:14:01.680 To say you gave.

00:14:02.900 Oh, we gave three million dollars.

00:14:04.920 This audience has given half that.

00:14:07.280 This audience has given half of that.

00:14:11.000 What are you talking about?

00:14:12.420 You gave three million dollars.

00:14:14.280 By the way, you started with one point seven.

00:14:16.400 But it's more than just money.

00:14:21.160 It's.

00:14:23.300 It's by just telling people the truth.

00:14:27.540 When the governor could not or the mayor of Maui could not say how many kids are missing.

00:14:35.000 You know, he knows the number.

00:14:39.020 We know there's what was it?

00:14:41.280 What is it?

00:14:41.760 A thousand seventy six people that are missing something like that.

00:14:45.960 We know the number.

00:14:47.900 Are you telling me we have no idea if their kids are not?

00:14:53.760 Of course, you know that number.

00:14:55.460 Why won't you say it?

00:14:59.100 Are you trying to ease us into that number?

00:15:03.760 It's really manipulative and grotesque.

00:15:07.700 I wonder if this is going to be brought up.

00:15:12.600 I, I, I, I hope not at the debate because then everybody will give their usually fakey little.

00:15:19.920 Oh, I'm so upset kind of thing just so they're they don't look like Joe Biden.

00:15:25.440 But I go back to what we were talking about when we were talking about tonight's debate.

00:15:35.560 What I hope we see.

00:15:39.600 What, what is the real problem in Maui?

00:15:44.060 What is the real problem?

00:15:46.140 It's not global warming.

00:15:47.520 It's not global warming.

00:15:48.820 It is a government that seems to lack the compassion for people, the compassion, and honestly, the fear of the people.

00:16:03.100 Which kept them more afraid of the global warming people.

00:16:10.140 Kept them more afraid of them to we can't turn off the solar panels.

00:16:15.740 We can't turn off the electricity.

00:16:17.760 We can't arm the fire hydrants and put the water into the fire hydrants because water is more sacred than people.

00:16:26.620 All the way down to, you know, my Corvette and my cat.

00:16:32.060 And by the way, Joe, another thing.

00:16:35.320 The firefighters got there within 20 minutes of it starting fire.

00:16:40.340 They had it under control.

00:16:42.260 By the time they got there, they came in quickly and had it under control.

00:16:48.160 It was a small kitchen fire.

00:16:50.460 And you said you stood there and watched these heroes.

00:16:53.820 No, you didn't.

00:16:54.680 You were, you were giving a speech at the time in Washington, D.C.

00:16:58.080 How were you possibly at home?

00:16:59.960 How did you see this?

00:17:01.160 My gosh.

00:17:02.100 This is the best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:17:08.940 As you can see, I'm at LAX in route to Milwaukee.

00:17:13.280 I was just informed by the RNC that I'm not qualified for the debate.

00:17:17.620 Why?

00:17:18.640 Even though I exceeded the 40,000 individual donations required.

00:17:23.260 Even though I signed the pledge to support the eventual nominee.

00:17:27.340 Even though I submitted three polls where I was at least a 1%.

00:17:30.800 I was informed that one of the polls is not eligible.

00:17:33.980 It's the Rasmussen poll.

00:17:35.120 Even though it was the most accurate poll in predicting that Donald Trump would win in 2016,

00:17:39.500 they say it is affiliated with Donald Trump and therefore it is not eligible.

00:17:43.420 And I said to Ronna McDaniel, the chairwoman of the RNC, it's not affiliated with me.

00:17:48.820 She said any poll affiliated with any candidate is not eligible.

00:17:52.640 And no one told me that until just now.

00:17:55.180 So we're filing an emergency injunction to get me up there.

00:17:58.040 This is absolutely BS.

00:18:00.520 One of the candidates, by the way, offered a $20 gift certificate for a $1 donation.

00:18:05.240 That apparently is okay.

00:18:06.760 Another one offered a free air quotes country western concert for a $1 donation.

00:18:11.800 That apparently is okay.

00:18:12.660 Another one offered a commission to prospective donors to get other prospective donors.

00:18:17.400 That apparently is okay.

00:18:18.540 But I did it the old-fashioned way, asking people to support me by going to LarryElder.com.

00:18:23.260 And that is not okay.

00:18:24.560 And now all of a sudden, I'm not eligible.

00:18:27.000 It is designed, in my opinion, to make sure that Ronda Sanders is the nominee. 0.93

00:18:31.500 Anybody other than Trump.

00:18:32.940 This is BS.

00:18:34.000 I will see you in Milwaukee.

00:18:35.720 Out.

00:18:36.700 Larry Elder joins us now.

00:18:38.280 Host of the Larry Elder Show and 2024 GOP presidential candidate.

00:18:43.080 Larry, welcome to the program, sir.

00:18:45.500 Are you in Milwaukee?

00:18:48.100 Of course I'm in Milwaukee.

00:18:49.660 And I'm going to be on that debate stage.

00:18:50.960 I predict it.

00:18:51.880 I'm not a betting man.

00:18:52.960 But if I were, I would bet my house.

00:18:54.980 Larry Elder is going to be up there on that debate stage in some 12 hours from now.

00:18:58.780 Oh, I hope you are right, Larry.

00:19:01.800 I hope you are on stage.

00:19:03.680 What is the message that you think needs to be there tonight?

00:19:08.840 Well, regarding the reason they're keeping me out, Glenn, I've met the 40,000 individual

00:19:14.920 donor criterion.

00:19:17.100 I've met the fact I've got to have 200 donors from 20 different states.

00:19:22.200 I've exceeded that.

00:19:23.240 The problem is the last one, which is I've got to have three national polls where Elder

00:19:28.300 is at at least 1% among Republican and Republican-leaning voters.

00:19:32.780 I submitted three.

00:19:34.000 As I pointed out in that little video, they rejected one, the Rasmussen poll.

00:19:38.540 And they told me that it was, quote, affiliated with Donald Trump, close quote, whatever the

00:19:42.600 hell that means.

00:19:43.580 And I said, well, it's not affiliated with me.

00:19:45.440 And they said, any poll affiliated with any candidate is not usable.

00:19:49.280 I said, the same Rasmussen that you quote all the time on your Twitter feed, the same

00:19:53.600 Rasmussen that was the most accurate in 2016.

00:19:56.280 And they said yes.

00:19:57.600 And then after that, Glenn, we turned in another one where I'm above 1%.

00:20:01.960 So we turned in four.

00:20:03.240 The last one was turned in after the deadline.

00:20:05.600 But I didn't realize they were going to reject one of the ones that I turned in.

00:20:08.680 So as far as I'm concerned, all the criteria have been met.

00:20:12.420 Moreover, my lawyer is the former chair of the Federal Election Commission.

00:20:17.440 They, 25 years ago, put down the rule that sets forth the debate criteria.

00:20:22.980 And they say that the RNC or DNC can set forth their own criteria.

00:20:26.920 Once you do it, you have to follow it and apply it fairly to every single candidate.

00:20:31.860 So they're applying it to eight of them who are going to be up there, not Larry Elder,

00:20:36.200 which means, in my lawyer's view, they're giving them an in-kind contribution of 120 minutes

00:20:42.420 of free airtime.

00:20:43.540 And if you look at the cost of airtime on Fox News, multiply it times eight.

00:20:48.080 That means that the RNC could be facing, Glenn, a fine of up to $100 million for giving an in-kind

00:20:55.080 contribution.

00:20:56.060 And Fox News could also face a fine of $100 million by the FEC for giving an in-kind contribution.

00:21:02.620 We're holding a press conference in one half hour.

00:21:05.260 I'm laying all this out.

00:21:06.760 And if by 2 o'clock local time they have not determined that Larry Elder is up there,

00:21:10.580 we're going to file that complaint with the FEC.

00:21:14.260 Well, I wish you the best of luck.

00:21:16.440 We'll be praying for you and hoping that you are up on the podium today.

00:21:21.180 I mean, I think when the GOP selected their leadership here recently, you know, they signaled

00:21:30.140 who they were.

00:21:32.260 And I don't have a lot of time for the GOP, quite honestly.

00:21:35.720 I think they are becoming Democrats in every way.

00:21:41.780 I mean, you know, the superdelegates happened because they didn't trust the American people.

00:21:47.940 When Ronald Reagan was elected, all of a sudden the Democrats were like, we can't have just

00:21:52.340 a regular schmo get up there, somebody that we haven't selected.

00:21:55.720 And I really think the GOP is doing the same thing.

00:21:58.640 They're doing the same thing now.

00:21:59.540 Yeah, I think they are.

00:22:01.300 And as I pointed out in that little video, you've got one guy that offered a $20 gift

00:22:05.120 certificate for a $1 donation.

00:22:07.600 Another one offered a free country western concert for a $1 donation.

00:22:11.960 Another one gave commissions to people to go out and get other donors.

00:22:15.000 I didn't do any of that.

00:22:16.220 I did it the old-fashioned way, and I'm excluded, but those practices, which are corrupt, if

00:22:20.460 not illegal, are okay.

00:22:21.920 It's outrageous.

00:22:23.100 And what I think, Lynn, is they don't like Larry Elder because I make them feel uncomfortable.

00:22:27.560 I talk about the lie that America is systemically racist, a lie that the Democrats have been

00:22:31.960 using against Republicans time and time again.

00:22:34.540 I call them out on that.

00:22:35.820 I think the Republicans are weak in letting somebody like Al Sharpton criticize Donald Trump

00:22:40.820 for referring to the Georgia officials as rigors.

00:22:43.760 Donald, Al Sharpton considered that to be a racist term. 0.99

00:22:47.100 This is the guy who once referred to the then-black mayor of New York as an N-word whore. 0.98

00:22:51.820 And here he is laying this down, and nobody from the RNC punched back hard. 0.97

00:22:55.860 I think I make them feel uncomfortable because I know the number one social problem in the

00:22:59.400 country, Glenn, is not the epidemic of COVID, but the epidemic of fatherlessness.

00:23:04.040 Seventy percent of black kids enter the world without a father in the home, married to

00:23:07.140 the mother, up from 25 percent back in 1965.

00:23:09.680 They don't want to hear about that because they're definitely afraid of being called racist.

00:23:14.640 Nothing scares a Republican establishment guy more than being called a racist by the

00:23:19.000 left. 0.93

00:23:19.260 They run like scalded kittens.

00:23:21.000 And then we've got this absolute disaster known as K-12 urban education, where just to

00:23:25.540 pick one city, Baltimore, 13 public high schools in Baltimore.

00:23:29.520 I kid you not, zero percent of the kids can do math at grade level.

00:23:33.340 They're all located in the inner city, and they don't like tough talk like that.

00:23:36.820 Jeez, Larry, one thing that DeSantis hasn't clearly answered, and I'd like to hear your

00:23:45.620 answer, is Ukraine.

00:23:51.420 What are your thoughts on Ukraine?

00:23:53.440 We've got two minutes.

00:23:55.200 We ought not be paying for this war.

00:23:59.120 We are tired.

00:24:00.300 Americans are being taken advantage of.

00:24:02.300 We do the heavy lifting when it comes to the cost of the United Nations.

00:24:05.120 We do the heavy lifting when it comes to the World Bank, when it comes to the International

00:24:08.480 Monetary Fund.

00:24:09.720 Our NATO partners are not pointing up the two percent of their GDP that they're supposed

00:24:13.460 to.

00:24:13.840 They're the ones who are threatened by Ukraine far more than we are. 0.94

00:24:17.120 Why are we paying for it?

00:24:18.580 Secondly, Putin has already lost this war.

00:24:20.440 All these experts predicted that Ukraine would fold in a few days, if not a few weeks.

00:24:24.740 It didn't happen.

00:24:25.620 We're in the second year now.

00:24:26.740 Putin has lost 200,000 troops.

00:24:29.440 By American terms, that would be as if we lost 400,000.

00:24:32.300 There was an attempted coup, for crying out loud.

00:24:34.860 His economy is in free fall.

00:24:36.540 They've lost about 20 generals on the battlefield, or they've disappeared.

00:24:40.280 He's already lost this war.

00:24:41.940 He's looking for an off-ramp.

00:24:43.180 We ought to be putting pressure on both sides to do just that and get us out of this thing.

00:24:47.440 Larry, best of luck.

00:24:48.560 I know you've got to run to your press conference, but I hope to see you on the stage tonight.

00:24:52.620 You are a welcome voice, and a voice that should be heard by more.

00:24:56.700 Thank you.

00:24:57.060 I appreciate it, Glenn.

00:24:57.920 Tell people to go to LarryElder.com.

00:24:59.520 I've now incurred an unexpected legal expense.

00:25:01.600 I'm going to need the help.

00:25:02.700 LarryElder.com.

00:25:03.720 Thank you very much, Larry.

00:25:04.760 Appreciate it.

00:25:05.640 You got it.

00:25:08.540 It's crazy what is... 1.00

00:25:12.540 As he was talking, I'm thinking to myself about the stupid questions that are coming from the debate. 0.99

00:25:18.660 And the media, Fox included, are so far behind what's really going on. 0.99

00:25:28.360 We're on the verge of cryptocurrency.

00:25:30.460 We're on the verge of another...

00:25:33.180 Central bank digital currency?

00:25:34.740 Yeah.

00:25:35.060 We're on the verge of a central bank digital currency.

00:25:38.400 We're on the verge of another COVID lockdown.

00:25:41.320 We're on the verge of possibly putting a former president in jail.

00:25:45.600 We have all these things that are so huge.

00:25:49.980 Digital currency from the Fed is not going to be discussed.

00:25:53.380 The Fed itself is not going to be discussed.

00:25:55.980 They'll talk about our spending, but they'll talk about it in the way of,

00:26:00.260 I'm going to put one penny down for every 100 pennies that are spent. 0.98

00:26:06.200 Shut up. 1.00

00:26:07.720 Just shut up. 1.00

00:26:08.860 And I'm just wondering if anyone is going to break through with the truth. 0.96

00:26:15.640 I think that America on both sides is hungry for somebody that is, I don't know,

00:26:30.100 young, dynamic, and different thinker.

00:26:32.720 And, you know, Ron DeSantis should have that.

00:26:35.120 He's not in my generation.

00:26:38.260 He's younger than me.

00:26:39.780 And he should have that.

00:26:41.620 I haven't seen that from him yet, but he should have that.

00:26:45.880 Ramaswamy has that.

00:26:49.020 We just need to see...

00:26:50.840 I mean, at least I do.

00:26:52.240 I need to see somebody who's not a politician anymore.

00:26:55.200 I just...

00:26:55.720 I'm so sick of him. 0.91

00:26:57.020 So sick of him. 0.94

00:26:58.000 Yeah.

00:26:58.280 Well, yeah, everyone's...

00:26:59.420 It's like, you know, it's like lawyers.

00:27:01.080 No one likes them.

00:27:02.880 Right.

00:27:03.040 It's like, every once in a while, you need them, I guess.

00:27:05.200 But most people don't like them.

00:27:07.320 What do you think, though, about...

00:27:09.040 I would not be surprised if Larry Elder winds up on the short list for Donald Trump VP pick.

00:27:15.600 Because he, you know, he does a lot of the things that Trump likes.

00:27:19.080 And again, I don't mean to undercut his message.

00:27:20.460 I know he's trying to become president.

00:27:22.820 So maybe his mind isn't there yet.

00:27:25.020 But people keep talking about Vivek, which is an interesting pick.

00:27:27.940 It certainly seems like they're aligned and there's a lot there.

00:27:31.320 Larry Elder, though, also aligned closely with Trump.

00:27:34.020 He's very good on television.

00:27:35.680 He knows an audience.

00:27:36.980 He's a fighter.

00:27:39.400 You know, he's the type of person where it's like Pence for Trump was this like understated, you know, guy who was kind of quiet and soft and talked, you know, related to maybe the more religious part of the audience that Trump had weaknesses with at the time.

00:27:54.180 And where, you know, this is a type of period where like Donald Trump's going to be fighting back against legal challenges.

00:27:59.440 Like you want a guy like Larry Elder to go on television and just blast everybody like he's good at it.

00:28:05.060 I don't know.

00:28:05.760 I think it's an interesting it's an interesting guy would not be surprised if he ends up on a short list.

00:28:11.620 I would agree with you.

00:28:12.700 That's a good thought.

00:28:13.580 Because Larry is and he's not.

00:28:16.280 He wouldn't.

00:28:16.920 I think the problem with Vivek would be, by the way, can we just get this out, please?

00:28:21.760 Sure.

00:28:22.400 I'm I'm always wrong on names, but I'm not wrong on this one because I've asked him.

00:28:27.740 It's Vivek.

00:28:28.520 Oh, yeah.

00:28:28.820 Like cake.

00:28:29.540 It's Vivek.

00:28:30.100 Everybody calls him Vivek or Vivek.

00:28:32.440 Yeah, it's Vivek.

00:28:33.140 It's Vivek like cake.

00:28:36.060 Shocking.

00:28:36.600 That's how you remember it.

00:28:37.880 I'm stunned that you went to baked goods to remember. 1.00

00:28:40.700 Shut up. 1.00

00:28:41.320 Shut up. 1.00

00:28:43.580 This is the best of the Glenn Beck program. 0.99

00:28:50.140 Darren Beatty is with us now.

00:28:51.160 He is Revolver News founder and editor.

00:28:53.480 He's also a former Duke University professor.

00:28:56.900 And I can't thank you enough for just being a pit bull with January 6th.

00:29:03.520 You guys have done such great work on it, Darren.

00:29:06.700 Thank you so much.

00:29:08.000 And it's great to be back with you.

00:29:10.320 Thank you.

00:29:10.740 So I saw this this report came out the 21st.

00:29:16.360 What day is it today?

00:29:17.360 The 23rd.

00:29:18.240 Yeah.

00:29:18.500 So two days ago, undercover cop cutting fences on January 6th.

00:29:23.200 New evidence intensifies suspicion surrounding key feds erection player.

00:29:29.480 Tell the story of what you have.

00:29:31.880 And you only have pictures and snapshots.

00:29:34.620 You don't have the official video yet because that's being held by a court for some reason.

00:29:40.580 But tell me what you have.

00:29:41.880 Well, in fact, we do have video depicting this individual cutting fencing designated in the restricted area around the Capitol.

00:29:52.020 So just to provide some context for this, there is a whole wide area around the Capitol that is usually perfectly fine to be on.

00:30:02.680 It was designated a restricted zone just for January 6th, and it was demarcated by fencing.

00:30:09.660 Now, what Revolver uncovered a long time ago in some of our earlier reporting is that there are a number of individuals very early on cutting the fencing methodically.

00:30:23.280 And when I say very early on, I mean far before Trump was done speaking, before the crowd went over to the Capitol.

00:30:30.260 These are people, for whatever reason, were hanging around the Capitol when there was no real reason to be there.

00:30:37.100 And furthermore, they were methodically, professionally, coolly cutting down the fencing that designates where the restricted zone is.

00:30:47.400 And the effect of this was basically to create one of American history's largest legal booby traps.

00:30:54.720 Because later on, when the whole crowd went over to the Capitol, they were unwittingly walking into a restricted zone for which they could be charged.

00:31:04.400 And many people actually were charged.

00:31:06.900 And this is an entirely separate story, but the Department of Justice actually used a misdemeanor trespassing charge to wrap up a Green Beret into a series of legal troubles that ultimately led to a felony conviction.

00:31:22.160 And they were doing this punitively because he video recorded and released evidence of the government trying to recruit him as an informant leading up to January 6th.

00:31:34.440 So there's a lot going on here.

00:31:36.560 But the basic thing is there were people strangely removing fencing before the crowd got there.

00:31:43.940 And hang on just a second.

00:31:45.360 I want to point out, when you say strangely, it is strange that these people are hanging out 20 minutes before anything is going on.

00:31:55.060 And they're calmly sitting there.

00:31:57.660 One of the guys is, if I see this right, he's using a giant wire cutter.

00:32:03.320 And he is so dispassionate and calm, he doesn't seem to be in fear of anything happening for him cutting down and rolling up this chain link fence.

00:32:17.960 Indeed.

00:32:18.840 And I encourage the audience to follow along the pieces right up at the top of Revolver.News.

00:32:24.400 We do indeed have video of this individual cutting the fencing.

00:32:29.540 So people can see for themselves what we're talking about.

00:32:33.060 We have the video of this particular individual.

00:32:35.880 There are several.

00:32:36.820 But this particular one who's kind of notorious, who has never been identified, who's never been indicted.

00:32:44.480 The government has exhibited zero interest in him.

00:32:47.700 But he was one of the key players methodically removing the fencing way before the crowd even got there,

00:32:54.240 creating this booby trap that allowed the rally to turn into a riot.

00:33:00.980 Now, there's been a recent development in the story of this individual.

00:33:05.140 And that is, this gets to the video that isn't public.

00:33:09.040 There is video of this guy cutting the fence.

00:33:11.240 Right.

00:33:11.600 What isn't public is there's an individual called Free State Will, who is a January 6th defendant and also researcher,

00:33:18.600 who's also been digging into this, and he claims that there's video that is under seal, has a sensitivity designation,

00:33:26.840 is in protective order, of fence cutter bulwark, who is this unidentified fence cutter,

00:33:35.300 interacting with a known undercover cop.

00:33:39.340 And in fact, interacting with the known undercover cop, such that the cop says,

00:33:45.160 appreciate it, brother, when this fence cutter removes the fencing, allowing the undercover officer to move forward.

00:33:52.720 So this intensifies the suspicions that we initially raised, where there's an undercover cop interacting with him,

00:34:00.940 praising him for what he is doing.

00:34:02.640 And it just underscores the question, if an undercover cop was right with him, interacting with him,

00:34:08.920 why wasn't he charged?

00:34:10.680 Why does he not appear anywhere in any of the most wanted lists next to people with trivial offenses?

00:34:17.820 He's playing a key role here, as I described, by removing the fence name,

00:34:21.580 because that's one of the critical components to setting up the booby trap that ultimately led to this riot.

00:34:28.540 And now, as an additional piece of really interesting and suspicious information,

00:34:33.140 I would say this individual, fence cutter bulwark, is the second most wanted guy from my perspective in terms of identifying.

00:34:41.940 The number one most wanted guy, the number one most pressing mystery of the entire feds erection,

00:34:49.080 is the identity of this guy's scaffold commander, which we talked about in person when I was in studio.

00:34:54.880 Now, here's the amazing thing.

00:34:57.560 There's a picture, and we have it on this Revolver News piece.

00:35:03.060 There's a picture of this fence cutter guy hanging out way before the riot happened,

00:35:11.660 way before Trump was done speaking, before even the Proud Boys arrived at the initial breach site.

00:35:17.820 And the whole official narrative is everything kicked off with the Proud Boys when they went to this,

00:35:22.820 the peace monument at the west side of the Capitol.

00:35:25.060 There's a photo of fence cutter bulwark just hanging out as early as 12.31 p.m.,

00:35:32.900 20 minutes before the breach kicked off at the breach site,

00:35:36.820 and within feet of him also just hanging out casually,

00:35:40.700 is none other than scaffold commander.

00:35:43.200 So it's pretty clear that there are a handful of key, undercover, inauthentic actors here

00:35:51.300 who each played a critical and coordinated role in creating this booby trap,

00:35:57.220 who have not been identified, who have not been indicted,

00:36:01.840 and about whom the government has exhibited zero interest or even acknowledge.

00:36:07.480 Like, we have the face of the fence cutter, we have the face of the guy on scaffold,

00:36:14.440 but the guy on scaffolding, didn't they take that information and say they were looking for him

00:36:20.960 but couldn't find him?

00:36:22.560 Have they taken, they haven't done that?

00:36:24.840 As far as I know, the government has not even acknowledged that scaffold commander.

00:36:29.280 How's that possible?

00:36:29.860 I've made a big, I've made a huge deal about him.

00:36:32.520 He's the number one guy.

00:36:33.680 Everyone knows about Ray Epps.

00:36:35.220 We've reported extensively about Ray Epps.

00:36:37.900 Scaffold commander is just as egregious as Ray Epps.

00:36:41.140 He's not only like fence cutter bulwark can be seen cutting fencing very early on,

00:36:47.020 participating in the booby trap,

00:36:48.600 but he plays a critical role in the second component of the trap,

00:36:52.020 which is he's positioned, he's perched way on top of the scaffold with a bullhorn,

00:36:57.160 telling people to move forward, move forward, move forward.

00:37:01.680 So you have people who had just finished hearing Trump's speech.

00:37:05.780 They move over to the Capitol.

00:37:08.340 They're not aware that they're trespassing because people like this fence cutter cut all the fencing,

00:37:13.280 indicating that it was a restricted area.

00:37:15.620 And then you have an authoritative voice continuously booming from on high,

00:37:20.120 saying, move forward, we need your help, move forward.

00:37:23.480 Is there a medical emergency?

00:37:25.080 What's going on?

00:37:25.800 So the crowd moves forward.

00:37:27.600 And then when people started breaking in the windows and going into the Capitol,

00:37:33.420 scaffold commander was saying, go in, go into the Capitol, move into the Capitol, fill up the Capitol.

00:37:40.380 So he was a key instigator, not only cutting fences, but more importantly and critically,

00:37:46.980 perching himself up on the scaffold, telling people to move forward and then go into the Capitol.

00:37:51.400 And this is a guy, again, just like fence cutter Bulwark, not only has he not been indicted,

00:37:59.060 he has not been identified.

00:38:00.500 And I think these two individuals, which amazingly, we have a photo of them sitting within feet of each other way before anyone was there,

00:38:09.380 just happened to be coincidentally perched right at that initial and decisive breach spot.

00:38:15.100 But these two guys need to be identified.

00:38:19.840 I've really spent a lot of time and resources trying to identify them with no success.

00:38:25.260 I think this recent video, if it comes out, could be helpful, indicating an exchange between fence cutter Bulwark and the undercover officer.

00:38:35.140 As for scaffold commander, again, he's on this piece of revolver.news, and he's in our classic piece,

00:38:42.420 doing a deep dive on all of these critical people who are pre-positioned before the Proud Boys got there.

00:38:49.260 I even ran facial recognition on scaffold commander.

00:38:53.480 No success.

00:38:55.420 I'm very convinced that if either scaffold commander or fence cutter Bulwark were simply identified,

00:39:03.180 it would be the biggest scandal in the country and definitively confirm that January 6th was a Fed's erection in the darkest sense of the imagination.

00:39:16.140 Do you have anybody on the Hill in the weaponization of government looking into this?

00:39:22.680 No, not as far as I know in the weaponization of government.

00:39:26.520 And it's really unfortunate.

00:39:28.300 It's unfortunate that the GOP generally hasn't dedicated some resources into doing this because, again, we've come up to the brink.

00:39:38.080 We've changed the national conversation.

00:39:39.880 We've shown these people, but we kind of need help getting that next, that last step to make everything definitive of just saying, who are these guys?

00:39:50.820 That's all we need to do.

00:39:52.020 It's simply a matter of identification.

00:39:53.540 And in this age of ubiquitous surveillance, it simply boggles the mind that these key people can't be identified.

00:40:03.860 And it's one thing for the government not to be interested, because I think we can guess why.

00:40:08.800 But for the GOP not to really be interested, because the whole purpose of this Fed's erection narrative is to justify the weaponization of the government against the GOP, and it's, more importantly, against its constituents.

00:40:26.140 Do you think we're going to find out the answer?

00:40:28.340 That's hard to say.

00:40:33.380 That's hard to say.

00:40:34.360 I'm not going to stop.

00:40:35.520 I mean, it's become kind of a white whale issue for me.

00:40:39.000 I'm not, you know, overly obsessed by it, but it's just I've gotten so far, and this is, like, one of the last steps.

00:40:45.300 There's the pipe bomb issue, and we're very close on that, too.

00:40:48.240 But as far as the January 6th, the participants, like, Ray Epps, people know who that is.

00:40:55.200 These people, people don't know who they are, and all we need to do is find out who they are, and I'm very confident that the identification alone will tell us all we need to know, and definitively, about what really happened on January 6th.

00:41:10.780 Can you give me a hint on the preview of the pipe bombing information that you're close to?

00:41:17.360 Well, there's been a major development since we last talked, and that is the public face of the pipe bomb investigation.

00:41:24.020 The guy running it for the FBI, who ended up retiring and working in accounting, he strangely volunteered himself to the Judiciary Committee and basically confirmed that all of the things we've been reporting on at Revolver were entirely valid and that the entire investigation is really bizarre.

00:41:43.660 He was asked whether the FBI used geofencing technology to identify this alleged pipe bomber, because we know they've used geofencing to identify and charge other J-6ers.

00:41:57.040 And he got very uncomfortable, according to multiple people who were physically present, personally present, he got physically uncomfortable, his body language got really kind of fidgety.

00:42:09.580 And he admitted that, yes, they did try to use geofencing, but the telecom companies came back to him and they said, for this specific request, the data is corrupted and we can't give you that information.

00:42:27.460 And he said, for this specific request, we can't give you that information.

00:42:29.460 And he had no innocent explanation for that other than to plead with the Judiciary Committee not to engage in conspiracy theories.

00:42:38.000 And that was one of the many revelations there.

00:42:40.680 And so this is an ongoing thing.

00:42:42.960 That's a major development.

00:42:44.360 There's more going on there.

00:42:45.700 And I think it's very clear that this is this is a cover up operation.

00:42:51.100 They found out who it actually was, the pipe bomber, in my view.

00:42:55.700 And the identity of the pipe bomber was extremely embarrassing to the government.

00:43:00.180 And they've been covering it up.

00:43:01.800 That's my opinion of what happened.

00:43:03.920 But this individual basically confirmed that all of these things that don't add up, they that they indeed don't add up.

00:43:11.120 And he had no explanation for it other than to beg us not to engage in, quote, conspiracy theories.

00:43:19.760 Wow.

00:43:20.340 Darren, thank you again.

00:43:22.020 You're a patriot for doing all of this yeoman's work.

00:43:26.300 I mean, it's it is it's got to keep you up at night, be frustrating and you just won't give up.

00:43:31.520 And I appreciate it.

00:43:32.440 Thank you.

00:43:33.560 Thank you so much, Glenn.

00:43:34.860 Find all this and more at revolvernews.com.

00:43:38.320 That's revolvernews.com.

00:43:41.120 And I'll see you next time.
