00:00:37.500 and what his investigating had brought to life and why it's important.

00:00:42.200 Also, lucky to have former UK Prime Minister Liz Truss joining the program today,

00:00:46.820 talking about what appears to be election interference from her country instead of, let's say, Russia, Russia, Russia.

00:01:27.500 One of the things that we need to be concerned with is our medicine.

00:01:33.340 You know, China, we rely on China for 80% of our generic medication.

00:01:39.060 80%.

00:01:39.820 The drug cartels are relying on 100% of their fentanyl from China.

00:01:46.760 It's being made in Mexico, but it's being made by the Chinese in Mexico and given to the drug lords. 0.98

00:02:48.620 You're listening to The Best of the Glenn Beck Program.

00:02:53.600 Aaron Saberiam is with the Free Beacon.

00:02:56.660 He has just written a story.

00:02:59.900 Kamala Harris plagiarized pages of congressional testimony from a Republican colleague,

00:03:05.940 plus a fictionalized story about human trafficking.

00:03:10.420 This happened in 2007.

00:03:12.680 More charges of plagiarism.

00:03:14.460 Remember, this is what ended Joe Biden's presidential campaign.

00:03:20.360 And when was that?

00:03:22.020 88.

00:03:22.580 88, I think.

00:03:23.480 Yeah.

00:03:24.960 He was out after he was caught plagiarizing.

00:03:28.940 I don't think anybody cares anymore.

00:03:30.660 I really don't.

00:03:31.880 Why is this even important?

00:03:35.120 Maybe Aaron can give us some insight on that.

00:03:38.580 Hi, Aaron.

00:03:40.040 Hi.

00:03:40.900 Thank you for having me.

00:03:41.780 You bet.

00:03:42.000 So, first, tell us what the new charges are on plagiarism.

00:03:47.160 The main ones are that she plagiarized pages of congressional testimony from a Republican

00:03:53.700 colleague.

00:03:55.220 That guy is named Paul Logley.

00:03:57.480 He was a state attorney of Winnebago County, Illinois, at the same time that she was district

00:04:05.060 attorney of California.

00:04:06.120 He testified to the Senate Judiciary Committee in February of 2007.

00:04:13.800 And two months later, Harris testifies to the House Judiciary Committee about the same

00:04:19.440 bill and just lists almost all of what he said, word for word, typos and all.

00:04:25.860 So, that's the first allegation.

00:04:28.300 And then the second, I mean, there's other allegations, but the other one that I think

00:04:32.120 is serious is that in one of her reports as attorney general, she plagiarized a fictionalized

00:04:40.360 story about human trafficking.

00:04:42.980 So, the story names and details have been changed to ensure confidentiality.

00:04:49.280 The source of the story said this is only for informational purposes, you know, implying

00:04:53.760 basically don't quote it as if it's a real thing.

00:04:56.900 But Harris plagiarized it anyway, and the only detail she changed was the location in

00:05:02.760 the fake story.

00:05:04.420 The human trafficking victim was supposedly from Washington, D.C.

00:05:08.260 Harris changes that to San Francisco so that her office is, in effect, taking credit for

00:05:15.620 the rescue of a human trafficking victim.

00:05:18.400 Except it's all fiction.

00:05:19.900 Or never rescued in her state.

00:05:21.120 Yes, exactly.

00:05:22.140 That one, to me, is really disturbing.

00:05:25.200 The congressional record is disturbing in this case.

00:05:29.900 She was asked to come up and defend something and talk about why a bill should be passed.

00:05:36.320 And she or her staff, they didn't have any original ideas.

00:05:42.600 They are just taking it from somebody else, which a state attorney general should have

00:05:49.320 their own opinions on things like this.

00:05:52.140 So, she takes somebody's opinion and just uses it, mistakes and all.

00:05:56.620 But this one shows she's willing to take a fake story and make it into something that would

00:06:05.620 hold her reputation up as a savior.

00:06:09.620 That's really disturbing, to me at least.

00:06:13.760 Yeah, I think it is somewhat morally suspect at the very least.

00:06:20.800 Then, of course, we don't know whether Harris herself is the one who wrote this or whether

00:06:27.480 that particular part came from a staffer.

00:06:31.900 It's quite possible it came from a staffer.

00:06:34.340 Though, of course, I think that that raises this further question about what kind of staffers

00:06:40.140 are in Kamala Harris's orbit and what kinds of people does she attract to work for her? 1.00

00:06:46.740 Yeah, I mean, I've hired people that, you know, provide information for me on the show every

00:06:55.380 day.

00:06:55.820 If we get it wrong, I take responsibility for it because they work for me.

00:07:03.400 But she hasn't even answered a question on any of these.

00:07:07.260 And I've seen that her campaign, I think it was her campaign, came out and said, blamed

00:07:11.120 it on the staff.

00:07:12.680 Did they not?

00:07:13.480 I don't know if her campaign has, but there was the guy who she plagiarized for the congressional

00:07:21.100 testimony.

00:07:23.280 His speculation, which I think is plausible, is that there's this group called the National

00:07:29.120 District Attorneys Association that wrote, you know, kind of an opening statement for

00:07:34.720 him.

00:07:35.180 And then it probably separately wrote a statement for Harris and staffers from that organization

00:07:44.180 must have copied and pasted a lot of the language.

00:07:46.860 That may be true.

00:07:48.320 Of course, the only way it would end up in the testimony is if Harris just kind of took

00:07:53.920 the pre-drafted statement that this outside group gave her and made very, very few edits

00:08:01.340 to it, which, again, you know, it's not a great defense because you think that if you're

00:08:09.680 going to testify, you put more of an original spin on it.

00:08:13.220 Don't just take something that was sort of pre-drafted for you by a professional association,

00:08:21.260 not your own office.

00:08:22.140 So the campaign has called the claims of plagiarism a partisan attack.

00:08:28.400 They say that it was sloppy writing.

00:08:30.780 That's kind of like Tim Walz saying, I'm a knucklehead, I think.

00:08:35.280 But they were talking about the book, Smart on Crime, A Career Prosecutor's Plan to Make

00:08:39.840 Us Safer, where she had kind of a lot of plagiarism in that. 1.00

00:08:45.900 Why should this, what should this say to the average American voter?

00:08:52.140 Look, I don't think anyone seriously believes that plagiarism is the most important issue

00:08:58.000 in this election.

00:08:59.120 I mean, that would be a straw man, right?

00:09:01.260 But if you look at how past plagiarism scandals were treated, they were often seen as kind

00:09:06.540 of metaphors or stand-ins for candidates' weaknesses.

00:09:09.840 So Joe Biden, right, it became a kind of symbol of, like, hubris that derailed his, I think

00:09:20.540 it was 87, presidential campaign.

00:09:22.980 With Melania Trump, when she plagiarized a couple paragraphs from Michelle Obama's Democratic 0.94

00:09:31.820 convention speech, A, the media was all over it, and B, you had articles run saying, well,

00:09:38.880 Trump, you know, the Trump campaign is denying that this was plagiarism, and that denial is 0.84

00:09:43.640 a testament to Trump's horrible character.

00:09:47.380 So they were perfectly comfortable treating the plagiarism, not even of Donald Trump, but

00:09:51.900 of his wife as, like, a metaphor for what was wrong with him.

00:09:57.060 And so I think it's only fair, right, if we're going to, you know, be consistent with the

00:10:02.380 standards to ask, well, what might the plagiarism say or symbolize about Kamala Harris?

00:10:07.040 And I think in this case, it does track pretty closely with the deeper criticism that's been

00:10:15.580 made against her campaign, namely that she doesn't really have many original ideas.

00:10:20.000 She just copies, prompts, or flip-flops on a dime.

00:10:23.720 And look, I mean, that's really the deeper issue, and I think the plagiarism maybe symbolizes that.

00:10:30.940 Yeah, I think, you know, you look at the NBC interview that she did last night, where

00:10:36.840 they're pretty much begging her, can you define yourself?

00:10:40.080 And she can't, and she's using regurgitated lines over and over, the same lines, over and

00:10:46.940 over and over again.

00:10:47.840 Um, that, with the plagiarism, says she may not know who she is, uh, because she can't

00:10:55.900 really define herself off the cuff.

00:10:57.940 She's not comfortable with it for some reason or another.

00:11:01.220 Uh, and so who is she really?

00:11:04.080 I think that kind of plays into it.

00:11:06.780 I don't think anybody's going to vote about the plagiarism thing.

00:11:09.160 Uh, those days are long gone.

00:11:11.400 Uh, but I think it does, uh, say an awful lot about her, or maybe just confirms what

00:11:18.300 we feel, what everybody instinctively feels about her.

00:11:21.880 I, I don't know who she is.

00:11:23.620 It seems almost fake, the whole thing.

00:11:26.600 Aaron, thank you so much for, uh, everything that you do and the free beacon.

00:11:30.440 You guys are great.

00:11:31.380 You're on it every day.

00:11:32.280 Thank you.

00:11:33.660 Thank you very much.

00:11:34.680 You bet.

00:11:35.060 Bye-bye.

00:11:35.360 Uh, all right, so last night she, uh, did an interview.

00:11:40.440 You know, it's really weird.

00:11:41.620 Did you, did you see that she took the day off yesterday?

00:11:46.600 Why would you take the day off?

00:11:48.340 You're, you're what, 13 days away from the election of your life?

00:11:53.380 You lose this.

00:11:55.340 You're, you're not running again.

00:11:57.420 We've covered a lot of elections together.

00:11:59.280 Do you ever remember ever seeing a candidate in the last two weeks of the election take a

00:12:04.440 day off?

00:12:05.360 Joe Biden.

00:12:07.700 Maybe, maybe.

00:12:08.760 Yeah.

00:12:08.840 Joe Biden.

00:12:09.640 I don't remember that, but, uh, it would certainly, it was certainly check, you know,

00:12:14.380 it would track.

00:12:15.680 Uh, but other than, I mean, that's, and there's reasons for that.

00:12:18.120 Yeah, there are.

00:12:19.600 What is she doing?

00:12:20.440 I mean, it may just be a complete strategy.

00:12:22.580 Rehaul.

00:12:23.780 Right.

00:12:24.200 Again, we've just seen one of those happen over the past few weeks.

00:12:27.440 Maybe they're doing it again.

00:12:28.660 Maybe they needed a day to kind of regroup as things are not going well, but it's a weird

00:12:32.660 strategy to just take a day off to, even if you're just fundraising, you think you'd be

00:12:37.740 doing something.

00:12:38.520 Right.

00:12:39.300 Nothing.

00:12:39.600 Let me tell you about Good Ranchers.

00:12:43.060 You know, you just don't vote in the booth on election day.

00:12:45.580 You do it with your wallet every day for, you know, for instance, when you go to buy

00:12:49.620 meat right now, Good Ranchers is running a presidential promo for a limited time.

00:12:53.900 When you subscribe to any of their meat boxes, uh, you're going to get a free add-on for a

00:13:23.520 Make sure you use that.

00:13:24.380 You'll find the presidential special.

00:13:26.000 It's GoodRanchers.com promo code Glenn.

00:13:29.320 Now back to the podcast.

00:13:31.260 This is the best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:13:33.460 And don't forget rate us on iTunes.

00:13:38.160 Justin Haskins joins us.

00:13:39.840 He is the coauthor of the new book that we released yesterday called Propaganda Wars,

00:13:44.560 how the global elite control what you see, what you think, and what you feel.

00:13:49.980 Uh, first, let me start with something that is very disturbing that is going around.

00:13:55.720 And, um, we mustn't repeat this because we don't know.

00:14:00.320 And this is a dangerous one.

00:14:02.500 Sensitive intelligence regarding a possible Israeli military action on Iran was leaked

00:14:08.320 over the weekend from someone in the U.S. government.

00:14:12.960 Now there's a lot of irresponsible reporting yesterday floating around social media.

00:14:17.820 It claimed that the identity of the leaker was known, but we don't know yet who the culprit

00:14:23.920 is at the moment.

00:14:24.940 Formal accusations and charges have not been made.

00:14:28.620 So why was social media so quick to point a finger?

00:14:33.480 Well, it's because this point, at this point, it is not a question that there is a serious

00:14:42.500 problem within the Biden-Harris administration's national security apparatus.

00:14:46.540 It reminds me of another Democratic, uh, administration, Barack Obama.

00:14:50.320 He was extremely comfortable with the Muslim Brotherhood.

00:14:54.760 Now fast forward a few years, and now the Democrats are in the same boat with Iran. 0.90

00:15:01.460 And this is what happens when ideologues gain access and power within the Pentagon and the

00:15:07.540 intelligence community.

00:15:09.380 There are people that currently have jobs that clearly shouldn't have those jobs, much less

00:15:15.900 a security clearance.

00:15:16.940 So why hasn't Robert Malley been fired yet?

00:15:21.680 Do you even know that name?

00:15:23.360 Why is he still technically at the State Department, Biden and Harris's Iran envoy, who is under an

00:15:30.160 FBI investigation for mishandling classified information?

00:15:35.660 But there's more smoke that leads to a fire.

00:15:38.280 The woman who was accused of the current intelligence, and I want to make sure, accused of the current

00:15:44.560 intelligence leak, was once part of a program called the Iran Experts Initiative.

00:15:51.300 And it was used by Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs to carry out their agenda.

00:15:56.380 And she is known to be in contact with and take advisory counsel directly from Iranian officials.

00:16:04.620 Now she still has her clearance and her job at the Pentagon.

00:16:09.380 Why?

00:16:10.860 Why?

00:16:13.080 Again, I fear when any side jumps to a conclusion when you don't know, and it is something as

00:16:21.340 serious as this.

00:16:22.740 We don't know who is ultimately responsible for this latest leak, but we have actually have

00:16:30.480 a much bigger problem here.

00:16:32.820 Radical political ideologues have given jobs to other radical ideologues at the very institutions

00:16:39.880 that exist purely to keep our nation safe from our enemies who are radical ideologues.

00:16:47.160 How many more will we find out about?

00:16:50.380 How many will fly under the radar?

00:16:52.840 That's the bigger issue here.

00:16:55.800 Give it time and give it a new administration, and you'll find out who leaked that sensitive

00:17:03.720 top secret information to Iran.

00:17:06.860 Now there's another story that Justin saw over the weekend that goes right to propaganda wars.

00:17:13.860 Yeah, this is absolutely incredible.

00:17:15.840 It fits perfectly with what we're trying to address in the book.

00:17:19.720 Last week, there was a video that was circulating all over social media on platforms like X and

00:17:25.600 others that showed a man claiming that Tim Walls, when he was a student, so when this man was

00:17:33.880 a student in high school, Tim Walls was a teacher, the same high school, that Tim Walls sexually

00:17:40.560 assaulted him.

00:17:41.420 This is what this man was claiming in the video.

00:17:43.260 And the man gave some biographical information about himself in the video that checked out

00:17:49.480 with, there really is a person who went to that high school with that name and some other

00:17:54.620 biographical information.

00:17:55.740 So a lot of people believed it and started sharing it and other things.

00:17:59.160 So then, some reporters tracked down, tried to track down more information about this, and

00:18:05.920 they discovered that the man in the video is not actually the man who he claims to be, and

00:18:12.300 that the real person, whose name is Matthew Metro, says none of this is true, this is obviously

00:18:19.540 not me in the video, this whole thing is made up.

00:18:21.620 It's essentially like a staged deepfake without AI, right?

00:18:25.280 Right.

00:18:26.380 So the national security director of national intelligence, they started looking into this,

00:18:32.900 and what they claim is that Russia is the one that put this out.

00:18:37.340 They're claiming that they've got evidence that the intelligence community agrees Russia

00:18:41.360 is the one that created this video and put it on the internet with the obvious attempt

00:18:47.240 to harm the Harris-Walls campaign.

00:18:50.320 Okay, stop there.

00:18:51.540 I want you to notice the difference between the Trump-Russia-Russia-Russia of 2016, where

00:19:01.280 the DNI did not act to say there are no pee tapes of Donald Trump in Moscow.

00:19:07.580 There's none of this, okay?

00:19:09.260 They didn't correct any of that.

00:19:13.320 For months it went on, when the FBI knew all the time that this was from a former FBI asset

00:19:22.640 that had been discredited, okay?

00:19:25.460 Then look at last election with Hunter Biden's laptop.

00:19:32.020 Russia, Russia, Russia.

00:19:34.020 Yep.

00:19:34.700 Well, how do we believe anybody today that it's Russia?

00:19:39.060 Russia, so why would the DNI, the director of national intelligence, rush to squash this?

00:19:45.800 Do you, A, believe that if that was said by somebody about Donald Trump, that it would

00:19:50.620 have been squashed as quickly?

00:19:52.940 And B, I hope so, but I doubt it.

00:19:56.060 And B, what do they know about it?

00:20:00.120 Right.

00:20:00.320 Yeah, and the framing of all of this from both the intelligence community, certain elements

00:20:08.660 of the intelligence community, and from the Harris-Walls campaign is very clear.

00:20:13.740 Russia wants Donald Trump to win.

00:20:15.660 This is all about spreading misinformation and disinformation to help Donald Trump win

00:20:20.360 the election.

00:20:20.900 They flat out said, this is from Morgan Finkelstein, who's a spokesperson for Harris-Walls, Vladimir

00:20:28.460 Putin wants Donald Trump to win because he knows Trump will roll over and give him anything

00:20:33.260 he wants.

00:20:35.080 That is the craziest, that is the craziest thing.

00:20:38.780 He was harder on Russia than Barack Obama was, and certainly harder than Biden-Harris.

00:20:44.820 The guy was tough as nails on Russia and China.

00:20:48.640 They don't want him back.

00:20:51.360 He also sees through them.

00:20:53.720 He knows who Putin is, and so he treats him like that.

00:20:58.240 And people will say, yeah, well, he treats him awfully kindly.

00:21:01.580 Is it a problem to have a rattlesnake as a pet?

00:21:06.760 Okay?

00:21:07.680 I think so.

00:21:09.200 Why? 0.93

00:21:10.220 Because it might kill you.

00:21:12.480 Right.

00:21:12.880 So you would think that it's not okay to have a rattlesnake.

00:21:15.420 Right, yeah.

00:21:15.780 I think it's perfectly fine to have a rattlesnake as a pet, as long as you always remember it's

00:21:21.980 a rattlesnake and not a puppy dog.

00:21:24.240 Right. 0.99

00:21:24.460 You start treating it like a puppy dog, and it will bite and kill you. 0.99

00:21:28.300 Right.

00:21:28.600 If you treat it as a rattlesnake, you too will get along fine.

00:21:33.680 So that's what Donald Trump does.

00:21:36.260 Yeah.

00:21:36.580 He knows that's a rattlesnake, but they can get along because he never forgets that's

00:21:43.720 a rattlesnake.

00:21:44.500 Right, right.

00:21:45.400 Okay?

00:21:45.880 Yes.

00:21:46.280 And then so then I think what's really important about this story is this is part of a growing

00:21:51.880 trend that we're seeing from the government now.

00:21:55.280 Over the weekend, a totally separate story.

00:21:58.760 State Department came out and said, we're putting a $10 million bounty on a Russian, because

00:22:04.460 we want to find out the identities of a Russian media company called Rybar.

00:22:08.900 We don't know who's behind this media company, Rybar.

00:22:12.900 And the framing of this is that Rybar is posting all of these fake news stories all over the

00:22:20.020 internet.

00:22:20.760 They don't know who's behind it, but it's clearly a Russian operation.

00:22:24.960 Listen to the framing of the story from The Telegraph, who is reporting about this.

00:22:30.100 It says, Rybar, better known for its pro-Kremlin coverage of Russia's invasion of Ukraine,

00:22:36.120 is using the channels to sow discord and stoke racial tensions in an attempt to sway the

00:22:40.780 U.S. election, according to officials in Washington.

00:22:43.800 The State Department is offering this $10 million bounty.

00:22:47.560 Rybar has over 1 million subscribers on Telegram, the instant messaging and social media platform.

00:22:52.180 It was said the Russian bloggers were behind two social media channels, hold the line and

00:22:57.740 stand with Texas, that have been used to, quote, promote Russian governmental political

00:23:02.900 interests.

00:23:03.940 The hashtags are synonymous, it says, with Republican supporters.

00:23:08.520 And the whole idea here is these are all pro-Republican, pro-Donald Trump stories that

00:23:14.920 they're putting out.

00:23:15.820 So now you have the State Department saying, well, we got to hunt these people down because

00:23:19.520 they're causing all this misinformation and disinformation.

00:23:22.180 There's more and more of this happening now.

00:23:24.580 So why?

00:23:25.600 Why are they, we're only a couple of weeks from the election.

00:23:29.120 All of a sudden, the national, the State Department and the intelligence community, all of these

00:23:36.700 people are now saying, uh-oh, Russia is swaying everybody.

00:23:40.580 They're putting out all this crazy misinformation and people are getting confused.

00:23:44.400 And this is all because Russia wants Trump to win.

00:23:47.940 And I am very concerned that they are setting the table.

00:23:52.820 As crazy as it sounds, because they did this already once before, it seems like they're setting

00:23:58.340 the table for if Donald Trump wins, they have a really convenient excuse for why it happened.

00:24:05.080 It involves a nefarious player overseas who's a dictator that they get to investigate and demand

00:24:09.920 more investigations and was Donald Trump in collusion with them and all of this crazy stuff that we

00:24:15.540 lived through, you know, eight years ago.

00:24:17.960 I think they're setting the table for it again to delegitimize Donald Trump.

00:24:22.980 And they have to do something to delegitimize him.

00:24:26.060 We all know that.

00:24:27.160 If he wins, they've got to come up with something.

00:24:29.740 And they've already tried everything else.

00:24:32.780 Russia, everybody hates Russia.

00:24:34.860 Right?

00:24:34.980 It's a really easy villain to pick.

00:24:37.960 And if you can-

00:24:38.860 And they are doing, I can guarantee you, I have no evidence myself, but I can guarantee

00:24:43.680 you they are influencing our elections.

00:24:47.240 So is China. 0.90

00:24:48.180 Right.

00:24:48.760 China's our number one enemy. 0.99

00:24:51.020 Do you not think they're sowing discord here as well?

00:24:55.160 How come we haven't heard anything about China at all?

00:24:59.320 Right.

00:24:59.400 And in our book, Propaganda Wars, we point out all of this.

00:25:04.800 We talk about the main players who were behind the creation of Rybar and all these people.

00:25:09.020 We don't mention Rybar, but we talk about Pregosin, who was the former head of the Wagner Group.

00:25:15.980 Okay?

00:25:16.380 The Wagner Group is a mercenary organization.

00:25:18.600 He's the guy who died on the plane.

00:25:20.240 After trying to do a coup in Moscow, and then Putin said, you know what?

00:25:25.200 I forgive you.

00:25:26.320 Come home.

00:25:27.300 That's right.

00:25:27.740 And then I'm going to send you on a trip on this special little plane.

00:25:30.420 And then the plane went down.

00:25:32.000 That's right.

00:25:32.540 You know, he was assassinated by Putin.

00:25:34.680 I'm sorry.

00:25:35.260 Did I say that out loud?

00:25:36.940 I mean, that's the guy who's behind all of this.

00:25:39.700 That's right.

00:25:40.120 And they said at the time that when that all went down and Pregosin was killed and everything,

00:25:46.820 Putin came out and said, I'm shutting down all these misinformation, disinformation factories

00:25:52.120 that we have.

00:25:53.020 We're going to shut them all down.

00:25:55.240 And they clearly didn't.

00:25:56.860 They just reimagined them with people who are not loyal to Pregosin.

00:26:00.400 They brought all these operations back up.

00:26:03.880 And what's really, I think, disturbing about it is a lot of this stuff is kind of crude.

00:26:08.680 This isn't like really advanced forms of misinformation, disinformation.

00:26:13.820 Why would Russia crudely put these things out where anyone, they have a video of a guy

00:26:19.880 claiming to be another person who's still alive, and it's obviously not him.

00:26:24.100 Why would they do that?

00:26:25.240 It's as clumsy as the Graceland scam.

00:26:29.500 Yeah.

00:26:29.860 Graceland wouldn't pay its $1,000 bill.

00:26:32.160 So we now own Graceland.

00:26:34.080 It's like, what?

00:26:35.420 Yeah.

00:26:35.660 Everybody knows that.

00:26:36.800 Yeah.

00:26:36.980 All right.

00:26:37.600 Hang on just a second.

00:26:38.960 Justin is the co-author with me on my new book, Propaganda Wars, How the Global Elite

00:26:44.940 Control What You See, Think, and Feel.

00:26:47.400 Now, next hour, I'm going into something that's not Russia.

00:26:52.960 England is now proven to be a culprit in a real foreign election interference story.

00:27:00.780 It was leaked now, their plans as an advisory group with close ties to the prime minister of the current Socialist or Labor Party,

00:27:12.220 Prime Minister Starmer in England.

00:27:15.520 And I have the former prime minister, Liz Truss on with me in about 45 minutes.

00:27:23.780 You don't want to miss this conversation because they are interfering and they are engaged directly with the Harris campaign.

00:27:35.560 You want to talk about election interference?

00:27:39.600 That's it.

00:27:40.940 But nobody is paying attention to this in the press.

00:27:44.040 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck podcast.

00:27:47.780 Hear more of this interview and others with the full show podcast available wherever you get podcasts.

00:27:52.940 The former prime minister of the United Kingdom, Elizabeth, or Liz Truss.

00:28:00.940 Welcome, Liz.

00:28:01.580 How are you?

00:28:03.040 I'm very well.

00:28:04.060 Great to be on the show, Glenn.

00:28:05.280 Thank you.

00:28:05.840 So, I'm sorry, I just don't know.

00:28:07.700 Do we still call you prime minister?

00:28:10.480 Like sometimes?

00:28:10.900 Not in Britain.

00:28:12.080 Not in Britain.

00:28:12.800 Okay, okay.

00:28:13.360 All right, so, you know, we, I don't know if you remember this, but we met earlier this year and we just had exchanged a few words, but in listening to you speak and everything else, I thought I, this problem is bigger than any of us thought it was.

00:28:33.060 And it is deep, deep, deep in the structures of not only our country, but England as well.

00:28:40.380 Um, they're going in a different direction than what they're telling people.

00:28:45.020 Is that, did I read you right?

00:28:47.400 That, that is, that is absolutely right.

00:28:49.640 And it was only, I'd been a government minister for 10 years and it was only when I got into number 10 Downing Street that I understood the full scale of what we were up against.

00:29:01.360 Because it isn't just the political parties.

00:29:04.080 It's not just the civil service.

00:29:06.220 It's the left have successfully captured the institutions in Britain and it is going to be a very, very big struggle to be able to change things here.

00:29:18.560 And, you know, we now have an even worse situation.

00:29:21.400 We have a socialist government that want to try and cancel free speech.

00:29:26.200 Uh, they are trashing the British economy.

00:29:30.640 Uh, people are leaving Britain.

00:29:32.280 Millionaires are leaving Britain at a faster rate than any other country in the world at the moment.

00:29:37.580 So we are in a very, a very, very difficult situation.

00:29:41.740 And the, the Labour Party are going for free speech.

00:29:45.120 You'll be aware that they've attacked X, they've attacked Elon Musk repeatedly because that is one of the few avenues where people are really hearing the truth of what is happening.

00:29:56.520 So there is a story that was just, uh, released yesterday, internal documents from the Center for Countering Digital Hate, whose founder is a British political operative, Morgan McSweeney, now advising Kamala Harris campaign.

00:30:11.080 Uh, the internal plans show the group in writing, uh, plans to, quote, kill Musk's Twitter while strengthening its ties with Biden-Harris administration and the Democrats, like Senator Amy Klobuchar, who has introduced multiple bills to regulate online misinformation.

00:30:32.700 So, it's showing that something that is in your country, started in your country, partly funded by us, and now brought into our administration, is actively working with our administration, and I would assume in some ways your administration, not yours, but, you know, the, um, the administration of Great Britain, uh, to silence speech.

00:30:57.860 We're, we're, our governments are in cahoots doing really bad things to the public, are they not?

00:31:06.200 And just to be clear, Morgan McSweeney is now the chief of staff to the prime minister.

00:31:12.420 So this man is incredibly senior within the Labour Party's administration, and there have been numerous public attacks on X by the prime minister.

00:31:24.180 Now, I don't believe that he will succeed if he takes on Elon Musk, but the mentality isn't to have an honest discussion about what's happening in Britain.

00:31:36.240 The mentality is to try and quash any dissent and stop people talking about the very real issues that are affecting us.

00:31:44.920 For example, the sheer scale of illegal immigration into this country.

00:31:48.820 So we have a very worrying government, and I've been following the US elections and comments by Hillary Clinton, comments by members of the Democrat campaign, and it seems to be the same thing going on.

00:32:04.840 Not only, not only are they putting in place these disastrous policies, they're also trying to stop anybody talking about them.

00:32:11.780 I've been talking about this for a while and I've been trying to get people to understand this is not about left versus right, Democrat versus Republicans.

00:32:20.900 This is about elites and against the people, and the people know they're being lied to.

00:32:27.980 How can there be a problem throughout the entire West of illegal immigration at the scale we've never seen ever before in the history of the modern world?

00:32:41.420 And our press in every single country is treating it exactly the same as are the administrations.

00:32:49.360 That doesn't compute.

00:32:51.560 It doesn't work out mathematically to be a coincidence.

00:32:55.000 And you're right about the public.

00:32:59.140 The public understand there's a problem.

00:33:01.420 They really are fed up with the mainstream media in Britain not telling the truth about what's happening and presenting things in a way that is very far from their real experiences.

00:33:15.920 And you started off, Glenn, by saying England is doing this to the US system.

00:33:22.340 It's not England. 0.77

00:33:23.060 The English people, the British people, are very much concerned about illegal immigration.

00:33:31.740 Yes, I know.

00:33:32.760 It's the Labour Party.

00:33:36.480 It's the media elites.

00:33:38.340 It's the corporatists.

00:33:40.340 And it is the civil service and the bureaucracy, which does not want to know.

00:33:45.880 So how much of a role did this play in the destruction of Donald Trump and you?

00:33:57.700 Well, what happened to me was the Bank of England were, and they've admitted this since, were responsible for the market turmoil that took place in October 2022.

00:34:11.840 But the British media adopted the narrative that it was my fault.

00:34:17.620 So they took the narrative from the Labour Party, from the Bank of England, and they simply repeat it.

00:34:25.160 And they repeat it to this day, even though the Bank of England has put out an official report saying two thirds of it was their fault.

00:34:32.240 And what I think has changed about the media is it's no longer a neutral arbiter.

00:34:39.880 It is pushing a particular narrative and a particular agenda.

00:34:42.920 And I see the same about Donald Trump.

00:34:47.320 If you look at what CNN puts out, they are not interested in what the truth of the situation is.

00:34:55.460 Even the reporting of President Trump's visit to McDonald's. 0.86

00:35:00.120 I mean, it's just some ludicrous, ludicrous media commentary on that. 0.61

00:35:03.760 And I think it is a massive problem.

00:35:06.500 It's why we need very strong independent media here in Britain.

00:35:10.420 It's why we need X.

00:35:11.820 I mean, Elon Musk is effectively the leader of the opposition now in Britain.

00:35:16.560 That is the situation we're in.

00:35:18.440 Yeah, he is in Brazil.

00:35:19.820 He is really all over the world.

00:35:21.480 He is.

00:35:22.380 And I don't think he could do it if he wasn't the richest man in the world.

00:35:26.260 But he is truly the last gatekeeper.

00:35:29.940 If he goes down, there is no gatekeeper in power currently today that will keep the gate of freedom of speech alive.

00:35:41.560 That's a little terrifying.

00:35:44.400 That's right.

00:35:45.240 And in the United States, you have the First Amendment.

00:35:48.320 We don't have that in Britain.

00:35:49.580 I know.

00:35:50.220 We're in a worse position for the protection of freedom of speech.

00:35:53.780 And we have seen people very recently jailed for things that they put on social media.

00:36:00.160 They might not be wise things that they put on social media.

00:36:05.680 But there are other people being let out of jail who've committed very serious crimes. 0.99

00:36:10.000 I saw a story from England that was a pedophile, got less time than somebody who said something stupid on social media. 0.99

00:36:22.080 That person, they threw the key away. 0.98

00:36:25.980 But the person who was a pedophile didn't have the same kind of sentence at all.

00:36:30.860 That's madness.

00:36:31.900 It is madness.

00:36:34.360 And what has happened is that our judiciary is no longer accountable.

00:36:40.100 It's no longer accountable in the way it was.

00:36:42.320 And this goes right back to the 2000s.

00:36:45.400 And it was Tony Blair's government that took away the accountability from our judiciary.

00:36:50.400 And they outsourced so many decisions that used to be made by politicians have now been outsourced to the bureaucracy.

00:37:00.160 And they are not accountable to anyone.

00:37:02.600 Yep.

00:37:02.920 Not accountable to anyone.

00:37:04.300 It's exactly what we did here.

00:37:05.540 So, are you optimistic that because this is such an octopus that, quite honestly, has the intellectual power of the world at the universities, has the money of the corporations, the power of the state, the power of the media, this is going to be really hard to kill.

00:37:31.880 This is a hydra.

00:37:32.760 Are you optimistic that the people can win all around the world?

00:37:42.700 The number one thing is the people are on our side.

00:37:46.260 And they are becoming increasingly frustrated.

00:37:49.220 And you saw that in Britain at the last election where it was the lowest proportion of the electorate voted for the two main parties because they are so frustrated that whoever they vote for into office, they get the same policies.

00:38:02.440 It's because the bureaucrats are still there.

00:38:05.280 So, the people are on our side.

00:38:07.440 And that is our big strength.

00:38:09.480 It's going to be very important that Donald Trump wins the election in the United States.

00:38:14.040 I hear good things, Glenn.

00:38:16.840 You're closer to the ground than me.

00:38:19.380 But this is vital.

00:38:20.300 And it isn't just vital for America.

00:38:22.040 It's vital for the West overall.

00:38:24.820 Because I can imagine what a Kamala Harris presidency will do for things like freedom of speech.

00:38:32.100 And it is not pretty.

00:38:33.220 Especially in collusion with Starmer in England, Great Britain.

00:38:40.540 That's terrifying.

00:38:41.360 That's right.

00:38:42.340 Can I ask you, the Labour Party is doing something that is apparently legal here in the United States as long as there's no money changing hands.

00:38:52.960 But I'd like to see anybody from Great Britain come and knock on doors in Texas.

00:38:58.000 They wouldn't really be welcome.

00:38:59.000 But you have 100 people from the Labour Party, the Socialist Party now, coming over to the United States and helping Kamala Harris, not only through advising, but actually on the street working for her campaign.

00:39:18.740 I've never seen that before.

00:39:20.480 Have you?

00:39:20.800 No, and given the ruination that they're bringing to Britain, I don't know why any American would think that is what they want in the United States.

00:39:34.760 Our energy prices are four times your energy prices because of our net zero agenda, because we're not doing fracking.

00:39:42.480 These are the kind of policies these people are advocating.

00:39:45.140 So I don't think any American would want to listen to them.

00:39:49.560 I think there's a question, though, these people who are coming over, who's paying for their airfares?

00:39:55.900 Who's paying for their accommodation?

00:39:58.580 Has that been properly accounted for?

00:40:01.320 Have the receipts been produced?

00:40:03.340 Those are the questions I would be asking.

00:40:06.360 If the Republican Party or the Democratic Party came over and did the same thing, how would the people of Great Britain react?

00:40:15.340 Well, it would be a problem because under our electoral law, you have to be a British citizen to donate to the campaign.

00:41:19.380 Yes.

00:41:19.900 Be delighted.

00:41:21.940 Thank you so much.

00:41:23.640 Thank you.

00:41:24.200 You bet.

00:41:24.580 That is Liz Truss.
