The Glenn Beck Program - Best of the Program ｜ Guests： Lt. Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears & Edwin Black ｜ 10⧸26⧸23

00:00:00.340 We're trying something different today.

00:00:02.720 Stu and I are going to talk about the show before it happened.

00:00:07.440 It might be more appealing that way or something.

00:00:11.600 Today, we've got a lot on our plate.

00:00:14.180 We have news stories, issues.

00:00:18.700 That breaking news story that came in halfway through the show.

00:00:21.440 That was a huge one.

00:00:23.600 I can't believe that happened.

00:00:25.140 Wait till people hear that.

00:00:26.700 I know.

00:00:27.020 We've got a lot on our plate.

00:00:29.180 The shooting, the new house speaker.

00:00:33.580 We also have a Jewish woman who is encouraging people in a big way. 0.97

00:00:39.940 If you're Jewish, go buy guns. 1.00

00:00:42.780 It's an amazing story.

00:00:44.060 We also have Winston Sears on.

00:00:45.960 She is the lieutenant governor in Virginia.

00:00:47.960 Unless she cancels.

00:00:50.120 Well, she's not going to.

00:00:52.020 But if something comes up, she might not come on and then she's not on.

00:00:55.320 And the world famous Edwin Black has a lot to say.

00:00:59.480 He's on today's podcast.

00:01:01.040 And that seventh thing we talked about?

00:01:02.920 Right?

00:01:03.600 Oh, man.

00:01:04.840 Wait till you get there.

00:01:06.720 All right.

00:01:07.120 Brought to you by Jace Medical.

00:01:08.920 The Jace case.

00:01:10.700 Jace, it's kind of like now I'm excited.

00:01:12.780 You know, it's like Christmas.

00:01:13.860 I don't know what's in the package.

00:01:16.800 You fill out a form.

00:01:18.240 You get prescription, life-saving medications delivered right to your door.

00:01:23.260 Please.

00:01:23.880 They're talking about food shortages.

00:01:25.860 They're talking about medicine shortages.

00:01:27.860 Even today, there's a story in the show prep that we'll find out if I have time to talk about it on today's show.

00:01:34.280 It talks about how we are headed towards real medication shortages.

00:01:40.000 You need your medication.

00:01:42.140 All you have to do is just go to Jace Medical.

00:01:45.600 You can save now more than $360 by getting life-saving antibiotics and whatever else you need with Jace Medical.

00:02:02.900 JaceMedical.com.

00:02:03.920 Remember, promo code BECK.

00:02:05.100 That's J-A-S-E Medical.com.

00:02:14.720 You're listening to The Best of the Glenn Beck Program.

00:02:22.160 The Lieutenant Governor of Virginia is a friend of the program.

00:02:26.960 I just love her.

00:02:28.500 Winsome Earl Sears.

00:02:29.700 And she joins us now to talk about the election in Virginia that is coming up.

00:02:35.240 And they're saying that this is going to set the tone for the entire country for 2024.

00:02:40.560 And the extreme left of the Democratic Party has won the primaries.

00:02:49.020 And so when this comes down, it is either going to be sanity or insanity.

00:02:55.040 And we'll hopefully get some idea of which way it's going from Winsome.

00:03:01.960 Hello, Winsome.

00:03:02.560 How are you?

00:03:04.100 I am doing just blessed.

00:03:06.540 Let me tell you, Glenn.

00:03:08.060 It's a wonderful day.

00:03:09.720 Yeah, good.

00:03:10.300 Good.

00:03:10.920 So tell me when, first of all, this is coming up in just a couple of weeks, is it not?

00:03:15.080 Well, yeah, the official day, but it's been happening since September 22nd.

00:03:21.020 Remember, there are 45 days before the actual day.

00:03:24.720 And that's why we can't afford to wait for the traditional election day.

00:03:30.020 There is no such thing anymore.

00:03:31.920 So tell me what's at stake here in Virginia.

00:03:37.120 Oh, just about everything.

00:03:38.860 We're talking about school choice.

00:03:40.540 We're talking about tax policy.

00:03:42.260 We're talking about energy policy, good grief.

00:03:44.980 We're talking about, you know, even anti-Semitism.

00:03:48.940 We're talking about just the ability to speak one's mind.

00:03:53.580 And also, we're talking about being able to attract businesses to come to Virginia because businesses are job creators.

00:04:01.220 It's not the government.

00:04:02.600 No matter what anybody says, it's nonsense.

00:04:04.880 And then we're talking about what's happening in our schools when it comes to biological males, you know, being in showers with our girl children.

00:04:14.840 And, you know, I sometimes, Glenn, you think the world has gone mad.

00:04:20.140 And it's not so.

00:04:21.900 It's just that some of them are just about control and power.

00:04:25.740 And those of us who have a head on our shoulders must show that we understand there's common sense.

00:04:33.100 Does it does it worry you at all that the the far left Democrats defeated the moderate Democrats?

00:04:40.100 It seems like there's a good portion of America that is going over the cliff in a big way.

00:04:49.120 Listen, Glenn, the Democrats who have won their primary elections thus far, they are so left that if the earth was flat, they would fall off.

00:05:01.300 I mean, that's where we are there.

00:05:04.540 And and unfortunately, I think we've come to a time in America where we are compromising from the left.

00:05:12.180 In other words, the left has gone so left that when Republicans look at compromising, we're actually in the middle of the left.

00:05:21.380 We're not compromising from the center of the spectrum.

00:05:25.440 So they've gone left and we've gone left with them.

00:05:27.840 So what are you looking at for the for the vote?

00:05:33.840 I mean, because this one is Virginia.

00:05:36.040 Virginia is not one that turns everybody over, is it?

00:05:40.140 Yes, we all 100 House of Delegates seats are up and all 40 seats in the Senate are up.

00:05:47.220 And what we have found, which is just so disheartening to me, is that we found 500,000, count them, Glenn, 500,000 Republicans who voted in 2021 and gave us the victory in the governor's race, my race, the attorney general's race and the House.

00:06:07.120 And yet the very next year, Glenn, they did not vote in the congressional race.

00:06:13.040 They sat it out.

00:06:14.560 They sat it out.

00:06:15.540 Five hundred thousand.

00:06:17.080 We could have had, Glenn, a totally different Congress Congress right now.

00:06:22.760 We could have sent, I believe, at least two, if not three more House of Representatives members to Congress.

00:06:30.480 You know, so we can't afford to do that.

00:06:33.220 And who are these people who don't vote?

00:06:35.540 The 500,000, they are the ones who only vote if there's a presidential race coming up or if it's a gubernatorial race.

00:06:42.340 Otherwise, they sit it out.

00:06:43.760 They think, you know, local politics isn't important.

00:06:46.460 They can't do that.

00:06:48.140 I mean, I don't understand people who don't think that state and local politics matter at this point.

00:06:54.280 You're seeing the effects of all of it, all the way down to your house and your own children.

00:07:00.600 Well, this is happening.

00:07:02.340 It's not just in Virginia.

00:07:03.860 And that's why we're saying Virginia is we think a bellwether.

00:07:07.680 This is happening all over the state, you know, with Republicans.

00:07:12.500 But guess what?

00:07:13.460 It's also happening for the Democratic Party.

00:07:16.740 But you know what?

00:07:17.660 They in the Democrat Party have figured out how to get their 500,000 to vote.

00:07:23.600 How are they doing it?

00:07:25.400 By getting them to vote absentee ballot.

00:07:27.880 Glenn, I'm looking at my ballot.

00:07:29.700 I've got my absentee ballot.

00:07:30.480 I'm not going to the polls and vote anymore.

00:07:33.480 I've got my absentee ballot.

00:07:35.220 Came in my mailbox.

00:07:36.360 You know what it says?

00:07:37.480 From this day forward, you will get a ballot for every primary election.

00:07:43.300 A ballot will be mailed to you for every special election.

00:07:46.340 A ballot will be made to you for every general election.

00:07:49.020 I said to myself, oh, my goodness, this is how the Democrats are beating us.

00:07:52.420 I don't have to do anything except go to my mailbox.

00:07:55.200 And by the way, there's a government stamp on the return envelope.

00:07:59.740 I had a ballot in September for an election in November.

00:08:06.440 Don't tell me that this isn't how they're beating us.

00:08:10.000 So how are the returns from the GOP?

00:08:13.880 Do we know?

00:08:15.320 Well, thankfully, Glenn, thankfully, there is hope.

00:08:18.640 There is hope in all of this.

00:08:20.760 We've been able to get those people who generally are not voters in these off-year elections, as we call them.

00:08:28.000 We've gotten some of them to vote.

00:08:29.940 So, so far, it's looking up.

00:08:31.620 But then, you know, we've just started on this journey.

00:08:34.800 So let's hope it holds because the polls look good.

00:08:38.620 But, you know, it's the numbers that count.

00:08:41.860 I know.

00:08:42.660 How secure is the vote in Virginia, do you think?

00:08:47.280 Oh, it's very secure.

00:08:49.320 We don't have those problems.

00:08:50.920 In fact, we have, because we have won, you know, now we are the ones who are doing the securing the vote.

00:08:59.720 And we can prove that you don't have to worry.

00:09:03.140 Everything is safe.

00:09:04.300 In fact, we have a website, secureyourvotevirginia.com.

00:09:08.720 I think it's too late now to go and sign up to get an S&T ballot.

00:09:13.240 But you sure can go in and to the registrar's office today, tomorrow, the next day, and go vote.

00:09:21.600 But coming back to this, we have found voters, like 18,000-some voters, who were dead but still on the roll from all the way back in 1960.

00:09:32.300 Now, I don't think they voted.

00:09:33.980 I think they're going to vote elsewhere.

00:09:36.680 Right.

00:09:37.040 They might have been voting in Chicago.

00:09:42.360 Yeah.

00:09:42.800 Yeah, so we're cleaning up the voter.

00:09:44.340 And we even got a vote passed this year that said, from now on, you will have the voter rolls cleaned up every month, every month, every time we get a moving notice from the post office, every time we get a death notice from the, goodness, I'm working too hard.

00:10:05.720 Yes.

00:10:06.340 From the health department, et cetera, you know, and from Social Security, then we clean up the rolls.

00:10:17.160 We have been doing it in the past, culling the rolls every six months.

00:10:21.380 We're doing that now every month, and we have removed, I think it was almost 200, 300,000 just by doing that.

00:10:29.280 And we've partnered with other states and other organizations to make sure that our elections will be safe, secure, et cetera.

00:10:38.640 Because here's the thing we found.

00:10:40.440 Well, in 2016, MSNBC and Morning Consult did a poll, and the Democrats, 65% of Democrats said they did not believe elections were free and fair.

00:10:53.320 Well, then came 2020, and the Morning Consult people did another poll, and this time it said it was the Republicans' turn.

00:11:01.900 70% of them said they don't believe that elections were free and fair.

00:11:06.440 So, you know, neither side, you know, believed in the process, but I can tell you, we're cleaning it up.

00:11:12.140 Don't worry about it.

00:11:13.540 Go vote.

00:11:14.200 I'm glad to hear that.

00:11:16.000 The rumblings of Governor Youngkin jumping into the presidential race, have you heard that?

00:11:22.180 Oh, yeah, everybody's heard it, but, I mean, we are focusing on 2023, and that's where his head is at.

00:11:30.940 Glenn, we've got to win the Senate, and we've got to keep the House.

00:11:35.520 We've got issues to tend to.

00:11:37.140 We've got adult decisions to make.

00:11:39.400 We've got to fend off these extreme left Democrats, so we're focusing on 2023.

00:11:44.700 Good, and the vote is November, I think it's the 7th, but you can vote in Virginia now.

00:11:53.060 Everyone, everyone.

00:11:56.120 Go vote now.

00:11:57.360 Put a sign in your yard.

00:11:58.860 Put a bumper sticker on your car.

00:12:00.380 You know, Glenn, we tend to forget, as humans, how bad things have been once things get better,

00:12:06.480 and we forget that they shut down our schools, the Democrats did.

00:12:11.160 They said they hadn't gone far enough.

00:12:13.180 They shut down our businesses.

00:12:14.760 They said they hadn't gone far enough.

00:12:16.560 They shut down our houses of worship, said they hadn't gone far enough.

00:12:19.900 They were defunding the police.

00:12:22.620 You know, Glenn, this is why the Democrats said they had lost in 2021, that they hadn't gone far enough.

00:12:29.760 And if we don't believe them, what did they do after we won in 2021?

00:12:34.760 Well, they were picketing and protesting outside the Supreme Court justices' homes who live in Virginia.

00:12:41.100 The Commonwealth attorneys didn't do anything about it, even though there's a law that says you can't do that.

00:12:47.160 So wrong.

00:12:47.740 I mean, school boards went off kilter, even worse.

00:12:51.420 So what I'm saying to you is the Democrats have told us how they feel.

00:12:55.660 They said they didn't go far enough when they had absolute power.

00:12:59.040 Or let's not give it to them again.

00:13:01.740 Winsome, thank you so much.

00:13:03.380 The Virginia Lieutenant Governor Winsome Earl Sears.

00:13:07.180 It's always a pleasure to talk to you.

00:13:08.840 Thank you.

00:13:10.100 Thank you for having me, Glenn.

00:13:11.520 And thank you to your listeners.

00:13:13.260 You bet.

00:13:13.580 God bless.

00:13:14.500 Listen, when she was saying the Democrats said that they hadn't gone far enough,

00:13:21.720 they just, the people that are running in their primaries,

00:13:25.260 they just got rid of all of the moderate Democrats.

00:13:30.180 If you are in Virginia and you think, like I do, I think like the founders did,

00:13:37.180 that this republic is a worthy experiment,

00:13:41.960 you've got to save your state first.

00:13:44.480 And how this goes will give us some indication.

00:13:49.100 If this goes well for the Democrats in Virginia, it's not going to be good.

00:13:56.000 It's not going to be good.

00:13:57.140 The rest of the country is watching Virginia now.

00:14:00.060 Please, if you're in Virginia, vote.

00:14:08.220 This is the best of the Glenn Beck Program.

00:14:11.640 So we have this really disturbing video of Jewish students at Cooper Union College 1.00

00:14:17.980 who are locked inside of the library for their own safety

00:14:22.040 due to pro-Palestinian protests that were happening right outside.

00:14:26.680 It's terrifying.

00:14:27.760 Georgetown University, do we have the videos of Georgetown?

00:14:32.660 These were projected onto the library at Georgetown Washington

00:14:36.940 or George Washington University.

00:14:39.440 Glory to our martyrs is one.

00:14:42.440 Divestment from Zionist genocide now and free Palestine from the river to the sea. 0.98

00:14:47.600 All of those are basically just saying, 1.00

00:14:51.580 kill all the Jews. 1.00

00:14:54.340 I can't imagine what it is like to be a Jew today in America. 1.00

00:15:02.760 Carol Markowitz is an amazing columnist.

00:15:05.940 She's with the New York Post.

00:15:07.880 She also has a podcast, the Carol Markowitz show.

00:15:10.660 And she has been getting on and encouraging people who are Jewish to get armed. 0.93

00:15:19.200 Go buy guns.

00:15:21.180 Carol is with us now.

00:15:22.120 Hi, Carol.

00:15:23.320 Hi, Glenn.

00:15:23.920 So nice to be here.

00:15:24.740 Thank you.

00:15:26.120 You sound so sweet.

00:15:29.880 I am.

00:15:31.040 I am sweet, but I have a big gun.

00:15:33.280 Yeah, good for you.

00:15:34.220 Good for you.

00:15:35.140 You wrote in January about the Chosen Comedy Festival that came to Miami.

00:15:42.760 It was for Jews. 0.72

00:15:43.440 And you said you started to notice a difference with Jews back then.

00:15:49.540 What was it?

00:15:50.900 So, I mean, look, this latest round of Jew hatred is more violent and louder and bigger, 0.89

00:15:58.060 but it's been coming for a while.

00:16:00.300 And Jews were being beaten up in the streets of Brooklyn, where I was living at the time.

00:16:04.880 Every day there would be a new attack, and nobody was talking about it because the perpetrators

00:16:10.040 weren't, you know, MAGA hat Trump supporters.

00:16:12.900 And so it went completely ignored.

00:16:15.780 And since I've moved to Florida, I've seen a change in Jews. 1.00

00:16:20.140 And I know it's, you know, definitely happening in Florida, but it's happening elsewhere as well,

00:16:24.140 where they realize that nobody's coming to save them.

00:16:27.420 And so what happened at that Chosen Comedy Festival was so funny because a Jewish comedian,

00:16:33.060 this woman, got on stage, and she made some anti-gun jokes, and the crowd started booing. 1.00

00:16:38.840 And I've never seen anything like it.

00:16:40.380 I was so happy and just, I had so much respect for these people who were saying,

00:16:45.640 I'm taking my security seriously.

00:16:47.960 I'm not going to be gunned down when nobody's going to be around to protect me.

00:16:51.380 I'm going to get armed, and this is not funny to me.

00:16:54.860 And that's a huge change.

00:16:57.440 Huge.

00:16:58.700 Look, I didn't grow up shooting.

00:17:00.480 I, you know, shot a gun for the first time like two years ago.

00:17:04.120 But look, we're getting armed, and we're not waiting around for somebody to come save us.

00:17:08.640 And that's the important thing.

00:17:10.000 It's not, look, it's not just for Jews, obviously, but Jews were never, you know, kind of into guns.

00:17:15.900 I never knew anybody who shot as a hobby.

00:17:19.040 It just wasn't our thing.

00:17:20.900 And I think it needs to become our thing, and very quickly, because what we realized is,

00:17:25.180 if you are not armed, you are a sitting duck.

00:17:28.180 Even if you're living in Israel, even if you're protected by the amazing Israeli military,

00:17:33.440 you're still just at risk of attack, and you can't live like that.

00:17:37.660 So the best thing that you can do for your family, whether or not you're Jewish, is become

00:17:41.560 armed, become trained, learn how to use your weapon, and not be afraid.

00:17:46.920 Live your life, but be armed.

00:17:48.380 Is it true that in Boca, there's a group called Locks and Glocks?

00:17:55.560 Yes.

00:17:56.480 Yes. 0.97

00:17:56.940 There's so many Jewish shooting groups now. 1.00

00:17:59.960 That's hysterical. 0.99

00:18:00.840 Locks and Glocks.

00:18:01.940 I love that.

00:18:03.200 So, you know, this is why Israel is so important, because your guns could be taken from you here. 0.90

00:18:11.500 My guns could be taken from me.

00:18:13.120 And that's what always happens with the Jews. 1.00

00:18:17.420 They're in some country.

00:18:19.460 People start to become very anti-Semitic.

00:18:23.500 The first thing they do is either disarm the entire population or disarm the Jews. 1.00

00:18:29.800 And then you can't defend yourself at all.

00:18:32.180 I mean, you got nothing to fight back with.

00:18:34.340 That's why Israel is so important, because you are in charge. 1.00

00:18:40.560 Yeah.

00:18:41.080 Well, that's absolutely true.

00:18:42.880 But, you know, my middle son and I visited your history museum, you know, last year,

00:18:49.460 and we had the best time.

00:18:51.080 And you were there.

00:18:52.540 You know, you showed him around.

00:18:53.620 You guys hung out.

00:18:55.820 And the important lesson here is that you can't let them take your guns.

00:19:01.500 And the history has shown so many different examples of that.

00:19:05.300 I have faith in America.

00:19:06.300 I have faith in Americans that they're not giving up their weapons without a fight.

00:19:10.160 I'm surprised that anybody would.

00:19:12.360 But, you know, you see it happen again and again.

00:19:14.600 You know, I had this conversation with a friend today, a Jewish friend who I'm convincing to get armed, 1.00

00:19:18.760 lives in New York City, college educated, and has been fooled for so long to believe that getting a gun is super easy.

00:19:25.560 And she said, you know, can I just go to my target and pick up a rifle?

00:19:28.860 I'm like, no, no, you can't.

00:19:31.000 And so, you know, I think that step one is making people face the truth that they've been lied to about our gun rights

00:19:38.040 and they've been lied to about the ease of getting weapons because it's not that easy.

00:19:41.900 And the second thing is to be prepared in advance, not to wait until history catches up with all of us and they come for our guns.

00:19:48.040 So, Carol, you know, I was with you and your son and your son was incredibly, incredibly bright.

00:19:57.140 I just loved him.

00:19:59.040 I think we ended up spending the whole.

00:20:00.200 You guys are best friends.

00:20:01.440 Yeah, I think we ended up spending many hours together because of him.

00:20:07.400 How are you dealing with a son that is bright, so knows what's going on, and how is that affecting him?

00:20:21.960 So, I have three kids.

00:20:23.420 He's in the middle.

00:20:24.720 We've tried to keep kind of the details of what's going on away from them, but it's hard because it's, you know, everywhere.

00:20:32.340 But I also, we teach them personal security again.

00:20:36.160 They know that their parents are armed and not taking that very seriously.

00:20:40.640 We're going to take them shooting, you know, as soon as that's okay to do at their ages.

00:20:46.220 And we're going to make sure that they know that their security is their own responsibility 0.97

00:20:51.580 and that they can't wait around for somebody else to save them.

00:20:55.000 As Jews, but also just as Americans, you have to be prepared for the worst-case scenario.

00:21:00.900 How does that make you feel as a mom?

00:21:02.400 It's scary, but I feel a lot better when I look at pictures of myself at the range with my big gun.

00:21:13.460 It's very empowering.

00:21:15.240 It's very empowering.

00:21:16.100 It is.

00:21:16.580 Especially if you know what you're doing with it.

00:21:18.640 If you don't know what you're doing with it, you're a danger to yourself, your family, and your community.

00:21:23.660 But if you really take it seriously.

00:21:25.780 Absolutely.

00:21:27.160 Carol, can I ask you, I've tried to prepare this audience for the last 15 years or so

00:21:35.340 when I saw this beginning to approach.

00:21:39.280 And I felt that I had ability to see into what was coming.

00:21:46.780 And it so concerned me about what was happening.

00:21:50.460 And now for it to happen, I hope my family and I have done enough to get to a place to where we won't make the mistake of Christians and everybody else 0.99

00:22:08.160 who fell along the way and did nothing.

00:22:11.120 What can we do to help?

00:22:17.200 You've been so fantastic, I just have to say.

00:22:19.580 You've been really amazing.

00:22:20.720 It's been heartwarming to listen to you.

00:22:22.980 I think the lack of fear, not being afraid to speak out.

00:22:27.780 Just speaking the truth about what's going on in the country.

00:22:30.940 I think that a lot of people on the left need to lie to themselves and say that this isn't really happening.

00:22:35.740 This isn't really that important.

00:22:36.980 This isn't that big.

00:22:37.780 But I love that you're being so honest.

00:22:40.480 And I just look, Jews and Christians very closely aligned for a lot of reasons.

00:22:45.320 But I feel like our fates are also intertwined.

00:22:47.980 It's not like, oh, they just came for the Jews and then they left the Christians alone.

00:22:51.520 That's just not how it goes.

00:22:53.040 So I think that, you know, I'm so I actually so proud to be a conservative at times like this, even though things are bad.

00:23:00.500 Believe me, they are bad.

00:23:01.680 I don't sleep at night.

00:23:02.520 I picture the hostages.

00:23:03.980 It's not great.

00:23:04.920 But, you know, I do feel good being a conservative because our side is overwhelmingly on the side of the right.

00:23:13.960 And they know what's going on and they're not pretending otherwise.

00:23:17.660 And I really do appreciate that.

00:23:19.340 Carol, we pray for you.

00:23:24.340 We pray for all of the Jews, wherever they are in the world and all those who are standing up to that will recognize evil for what it is and stand up against it in all of its forms.

00:23:36.760 Thank you, Glenn.

00:23:37.400 Thank you.

00:23:37.940 God bless you.

00:23:38.500 I'm just, I'm overwhelmed.

00:23:44.580 I don't know why in that.

00:23:48.540 In that particular interview.

00:23:51.580 But I'm overwhelmed with.

00:23:53.840 The amount of time that I have spent and the years that people have said, what are you doing?

00:24:05.880 Why are you doing this with Israel? 0.71

00:24:08.580 Why are you making?

00:24:09.460 And the fact that I know the Lord said to me, do not stop on this.

00:24:18.820 This is a sword you die on.

00:24:22.880 And because I had a lot of pressure to stop talking about the caliphate, stop talking about Islam, stop talking about the Jews and Israel so much.

00:24:31.400 A lot.

00:24:32.520 And to see it happen now is tragic, just tragic.

00:24:41.440 And I ask you, if you are a long time listener, to please don't let our time go.

00:25:02.520 That we have spent together be in vain.

00:25:08.000 Please remember the things that we have, we have talked about and we've taught each other, especially on this front.

00:25:19.640 This is an amazing time in world history.

00:25:26.340 And we all have a choice.

00:25:28.380 And the words of Bonhoeffer have never been more true.

00:25:37.060 I mean, it may mean that some of us get beaten in the streets.

00:25:40.760 But if you see somebody who is cowering, and I don't care which group is doing the ill.

00:25:50.940 If you see a bunch of pro-Palestinian people making Jews cower, get between them.

00:26:03.740 Don't fight them.

00:26:05.900 Let's get between them.

00:26:08.760 You be a meat shield.

00:26:10.400 I know that's a lot to ask.

00:26:14.480 But we have to have faith in God.

00:26:17.720 We have to do His will, not ours. 0.97

00:26:22.080 This is the best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:26:24.820 Edwin Black, who is an amazing, amazing author.

00:26:29.860 He is a journalist.

00:26:32.940 He has been tracking down the roots of the Holocaust and man's inhumanity to man, the progressive era, and the lies of eugenics forever. 0.76

00:26:49.760 He is the author of IBM and the Holocaust. 0.93

00:26:53.160 He also is the author of The Far Hood, which we will probably talk a little bit about.

00:26:59.640 But, Edwin, welcome to the studios.

00:27:02.500 How long have we known each other?

00:27:06.180 Ten years or so?

00:27:07.460 Easy?

00:27:07.920 Approximately ten.

00:27:09.500 And we've been talking about these things, and I can't believe that we're here.

00:27:17.460 Are we here?

00:27:18.060 Yes, I think it's no longer that the threat is over a distant hill, and I don't think the threat is even around the corner.

00:27:32.840 I think the threat is just down the street.

00:27:35.500 Just yesterday, students at Cooper Union Library, Jewish students, were trapped in the library because Palestinians were knocking on the window and wanted them.

00:27:50.620 There was a home invasion of a Jewish man in Studio City, Los Angeles.

00:27:56.980 He had to fight the guy and push him out.

00:28:03.900 He broke the door down. 0.99

00:28:06.300 He, his wife, and his children, and he was screaming that they were Jewish and he was going to kill them. 0.98

00:28:12.420 I mean, if I hear one more thing about Islamophobia from this president and a refusal to acknowledge what is happening to Jewish Americans, it is astounding to me. 0.97

00:28:26.800 I think that the problem is that a lot of people in America are sleeping with the enemy, and the Palestinians have come here, and they've embedded themselves, and they've just turned so many people against the United States and specifically against Jews. 0.75

00:28:51.600 Almost all of it involves fake information, fake history, fake facts, and unfortunately, our colleges are ground zero for both hate and ignorance, and that is a very precarious intersection.

00:29:11.540 So has any society in history been at this point with Jews and turned it around? 1.00

00:29:22.520 No.

00:29:23.520 Oh, geez.

00:29:24.480 One of the things that I have stressed is that I know that Jews came here after the Holocaust, and I know that my parents and many parents didn't want to discuss their experiences in the Holocaust.

00:29:44.060 They thought everything was okay, they thought everything was okay, everybody got a job, everybody got a couple of cars, a bunch of TVs, and everything was hunky-dory.

00:29:52.940 But it was always just below the surface.

00:29:56.740 And even while I've been here in Dallas, Jews in the community are petrified to discover the facts right in front of their face.

00:30:10.240 And I think what happened in Germany, what happened throughout Europe, in many locations throughout the centuries, we may be facing that here.

00:30:24.020 We may be facing the dispossession of the Jewish people in the United States if the wrong people get elected, and it may come as soon as 2025.

00:30:39.420 But there is a huge rehearsal for this right now, and it's not the juridical rehearsal, it's not just the trumped-up Farrah violations, it's not just the special assessments, it's not the clawback, it's the actual violence.

00:30:57.620 In fact, what frightens me is last year, I started a series on my show, The Edwin Black Show, called Kristallnacht 2.0.

00:31:08.020 I'm saying, it's coming.

00:31:09.880 And I had several of American Jewry's best thinkers and legal minds on the show, and all of them finally said, yes, it's coming.

00:31:24.720 So, the third installment of this was canceled several days ago because the war broke out between Hamas and Israel.

00:31:37.100 And so, here we are.

00:31:38.680 It quickly spread far beyond Gaza, all the way to the Brooklyn Bridge, and all the way to L.A. County.

00:31:47.020 You were recognizing Farhud Day, right, this summer?

00:31:54.640 Is that right it was?

00:31:55.480 Yes.

00:31:56.640 I wrote a book called The Farhud, that's F-A-R-H-U-D, which means violent dispossession,

00:32:03.920 about a horrible Arab-Nazi pogrom riot massacre in Baghdad on June 1, 1941.

00:32:14.580 And the language is eerily similar.

00:32:18.160 Babies killed in front of their parents, parents killed in front of their babies.

00:32:23.220 And this arose out of a massive worldwide Arab and Muslim alliance with the Nazis during World War II,

00:32:32.940 headed by the Mufti of Jerusalem. 0.61

00:32:35.920 Evil guy.

00:32:36.560 Hussein, I wrote that book and worked very hard to have International Farhud Day established and announced

00:32:47.540 at the United Nations in a live global chat streamed announcement.

00:32:53.820 So, we do a show on this every June.

00:32:58.060 And this time, I said, where next?

00:33:01.540 And I said, to the astonishment of just about everyone, I said, is it going to be in Syria?

00:33:08.120 Is it going to be in Morocco?

00:33:09.960 Is it going to be in Tunisia?

00:33:11.860 I said, no, it's going to be in Israel.

00:33:14.420 And then, it's going to be in the United States.

00:33:17.800 I said, I set forth my reasons, and unfortunately, the hell of it is, the damnation of it is that I've been validated.

00:33:26.860 Why is it always socialism, Marxism, that accompanies this?

00:33:40.900 I mean, when I first started seeing that progressivism started as communism,

00:33:46.880 and then they approved Hitler until Hitler was discredited, but they still ride on this Marxist wave. 0.97

00:33:59.060 Marx himself was a horrible, horrible anti-Semite, even though he was Jewish. 0.84

00:34:04.480 Why do those things keep going together? 0.95

00:34:06.760 Well, it's true that Marx is an idol within the progressive movement,

00:34:16.180 and his birthday is celebrated all over the campuses of the United States.

00:34:25.160 But when it comes to this particular threat, this is beyond progressivism.

00:34:31.780 This is beyond socialism.

00:34:33.340 This is sheer evil.

00:34:36.980 There is always a Marxist contingent to it, a communist contingent to it,

00:34:43.520 but generally, that is a backlash to the capitalistic system.

00:34:48.520 So there's always 10 or 12 factions, and one of them is always the communists, the socialists, the anarchists.

00:34:56.300 It's basically about denuding personal freedoms, and it's coming here.

00:35:04.160 And the Jews are going first, unless they wake up. 1.00

00:35:08.420 And right now, they've got one or two drugs they've got to take, no-dose or Ambien.

00:35:15.780 And if the Jews go on Saturday, the Christians are going on Sunday. 0.99

00:35:20.740 I have made the case, privately mainly, that if you believe in good and evil,

00:35:29.340 and evil is trying to best God, that evil, when he saw the Abrahamic covenant,

00:35:36.880 said, how many people do I have to kill?

00:35:39.800 That's easy.

00:35:40.700 But if God breaks his promise, he ceases to be God.

00:35:44.020 And he says, he's going to make these people powerful and going to be as many as the stars in the sky.

00:35:51.700 Are you kidding me? 1.00

00:35:52.800 I'll just kill these people. 1.00

00:35:54.320 And I think this is where this comes from. 1.00

00:35:58.240 At least this is my feeling, that it is this evil that has targeted the Jews from the very beginning. 1.00

00:36:08.500 Because this happens over and over and over again.

00:36:14.600 There's nothing else like it in the world.

00:36:17.800 Nothing like this.

00:36:20.220 We're living under a dome of geodicic evil. 0.70

00:36:25.140 There's no question about it.

00:36:27.440 Many of these plates are now crashing down on our head.

00:36:32.660 We're living lies.

00:36:34.620 Lies are living within us because we don't know any better.

00:36:39.760 And right now, we have people thriving on ignorance and malcontent.

00:36:50.280 I do believe that there's pure evil.

00:36:53.840 And I think it'd be a long debate to divine just what is the definition and dimension of the evil that we are facing now

00:37:06.900 and the evil that the Jewish people have faced throughout their times, just as you say.

00:37:12.940 You know, I always say, don't get comfortable.

00:37:16.740 My father used to say, there's a suitcase under the bed.

00:37:20.220 Ready to go.

00:37:20.880 Edwin Black, host of The Edwin Black Show, author of IBM and the Holocaust and The Far Hood, which is F-A-R-H-U-D.

00:37:30.940 Na-na-na-na-na 0.98

00:37:32.880 Da-na-na 1.00

00:37:33.620 Na-na-na-na-na 0.98
