00:00:00.000 hey great podcast for you today megan kelly mark guys he's oz from uh from the benghazi
00:00:07.140 nightmare otherwise known as uh 13 hours talk to him about the flashbacks that maybe he had
00:00:14.640 while watching this all unfold now in afghanistan we have updates on that also what biden is doing
00:00:22.220 what the state department is doing and of course a dramatic reading from lizzo where the hell
00:00:31.660 my phone all on today's podcast
00:00:35.160 you're listening to the best of the glenn beck program
00:00:47.360 you know in the old days uh you had to be on one of the three networks or you had to be
00:00:57.440 on the abc radio network and that was pretty much it uh now there are so many vehicles and you can
00:01:05.740 start them yourselves uh as megan kelly did our our guest she started the megan kelly show on podcast
00:01:13.240 she's been through the networks uh and now she is uh joining us on triumph which is the sirius xm
00:01:22.640 channel that we are on she follows our program now every day at noon eastern welcome to the program
00:01:30.880 megan kelly how are you hi glenn it's so good to be together again yeah in this moment and in the in
00:01:37.360 more macro sense on triumph so i have to tell you i i listen to your podcast almost every day stew does
00:01:44.700 too we were just talking about your podcast from yesterday it was uh you're just doing a great job
00:01:50.700 i have to ask you why add more hours to your day you know what i didn't um what i did was basically
00:01:59.600 move the podcast to a live radio show so it's all one in the same now as you know i'm the mother of
00:02:04.280 three kids under the age of 12 so there's only so many hours in the day right and one of the reasons
00:02:08.260 i left fox news was to actually see them and raise my own kids so i didn't want to do two hours
00:02:12.080 of radio and two hours of podcasting so this is perfect for me it folds them all into one and now
00:02:17.440 people can sort of hear me do the podcast live without a net which as you know is kind of exciting
00:02:21.620 kind of fun and i get to take calls which is something i've never i've never done before with
00:02:25.640 my audience so megan um i saw in an interview that you said you um you left your son's schools
00:02:33.020 your your son's school because the boys were asked weekly if they're still sure they were boys
00:02:40.000 yep can i tell you about this story yeah so i've talked a lot about um my son's school that i left
00:02:45.880 and i i loved this school it's an amazing school uh and we were really sad that it took the turn that
00:02:51.420 it took oh it's all it's gone dark just for drama um but what we found out from our son first of all
00:02:57.540 when he was in third grade we found out they unleashed a three-week experimental transgender
00:03:02.060 education program on these boys with really inappropriate videos the kids were confused
00:03:06.260 these are eight and nine year olds glenn they don't know they have no idea what the school is even
00:03:09.900 talking about with the trans thing and they got really in depth with really in your face videos
00:03:14.720 and then parents complained and the school did something it hasn't done in its 400 year history which
00:03:19.820 was they apologized even they realized they had done wrong then i said to my son a year later
00:03:25.320 so how did they ever round back to the trans thing like whatever happened with and he's like
00:03:30.000 every week i'm like what he said they bring it up every week i said how he said well they they managed
00:03:36.200 to work into a lot of the conversations that you know in some places there are 100 they believe there
00:03:40.660 are 100 genders how many people here still feel confident that they're a boy do you still feel
00:03:45.420 sure you're a boy i said how often do they ask ask you that he said about once a week i'm like
00:03:50.340 doug as i said to my husband we're out we're out of here this is not support this is not non-bullying
00:03:56.700 this is indoctrination and it's deeply confusing to the children and wrong so you know i've heard
00:04:04.120 this story before and i i haven't heard you answer are they still sure they are boys i mean
00:04:09.100 they're 100 boys so what are you doing because it isn't new york i mean that's all new york seems to be
00:04:17.700 now i mean because if it's happening in texas and happening in oklahoma i mean it's got to be at
00:04:25.660 every school in new york city it's it's styled under the auspices of non-bullying right and so
00:04:33.080 that's why they parade girls who were never expressing any gender confusion up on stage
00:04:39.140 because they're going through a tough time and suddenly they say they're trans that they're trans
00:04:43.340 boys they parade them up on stage at these all-girls schools and they get snaps right like
00:04:48.380 you're going to celebrate this even though in 80 of the cases it's a passing phase it's the result of
00:04:55.020 something the girls going through it used to be anorexia used to be cutting and now some of these
00:04:59.720 girls are choosing to say they have gender confusion because it's trendy and the difference between those
00:05:05.340 two things is you don't cut off your breasts when you're anorexic now you have other physical
00:05:10.080 problems but there are reasons parents are putting their kids in the hospitals to solve that
00:05:14.400 not to feed it right we don't celebrate a girl who is clearly thin who goes on stage and says i think
00:05:20.100 i'm fat nobody's giving snaps for that and so the the whole ideology has turned support non-bullying
00:05:26.340 kindness friendship allyship on its head well you have the um there's a new study out now transgender
00:05:32.720 mortality rate much higher than the uh than the regular uh population so people who have had
00:05:40.360 transgendered uh surgery they're even worse off than the people who have just gender dysphoria uh glenn
00:05:48.820 we we have trans people in our family and one who's rather close to our family and this person
00:05:56.520 had the full transition the the surgery and everything and really wound up saying it it didn't solve
00:06:03.920 my problems it created more of them it created more all the things you know how it is we all have
00:06:09.180 unhappinesses in our life we all have things that we lament or that depress us i think for a lot of trans
00:06:14.680 people or people who think they're trans they view the surgery their transition you know the living life
00:06:19.380 as the opposite sex as the answer to those things right that we all suffer from but it's not the answer to
00:06:25.580 all those problems and in fact it can create a lot of new problems that are now irreversible if you
00:06:30.940 have the surgery so here's the here's the really scary thing this is happening now because of social
00:06:36.120 media it's happening with girls who never never were having this this problem and it's happening with
00:06:42.960 mainly girls that are are doing all kinds of things to the body they the uh doctors aren't allowed to
00:06:51.900 say well now wait a minute let's slow down let's talk about it how some can't how about some counseling
00:06:56.340 and so they're going through this surgery and it's caused by social media many people believe
00:07:03.580 at least for the numbers that are happening this is criminal absolutely criminal the absolute surrender
00:07:12.740 of the medical community to this insanity is a scourge on this nation it's disgusting what's happening
00:07:19.720 with our doctors there are people who are legitimately transgender who have gender dysphoria
00:07:25.820 and for those people we should be supportive and they should get the care that they need but what
00:07:29.980 we've done instead is taken everyone who expresses any sort of gender confusion and said you're trans
00:07:35.760 you're trans and we have our psychiatrists doing this whereas instead of probing what's happening in
00:07:41.640 your family are you going through a divorce are you suffering from bullying have you been in the target
00:07:45.160 a lot of these girls they're overweight they have acne they're not popular maybe they're on the
00:07:49.740 spectrum that's sadly been the case in some of these instances where instead of going with an actual
00:07:55.100 diagnosis of being someplace on the autism spectrum they get a diagnosis of oh you're trans and parents
00:08:01.180 instead are saying oh we'll take that okay that that's like a trendy thing that the kid can get snaps
00:08:05.800 for as opposed to being mildly autistic it's it's crazy um and and the thing is glenn the the the medical
00:08:12.880 community not only do they say yes affirm affirm but once you prescribe um puberty blockers and then
00:08:19.640 testosterone to a young girl who's suddenly saying she's a boy she's infertile she cannot have children
00:08:25.600 the fact that we're doing this so willy-nilly in the name of allyship or you know support is it's
00:08:32.400 abusive it's all criminal i'm so sick of the allyship and the all of this bullcrap we're over in the
00:08:39.400 middle east and we have saved homosexuals we have saved women we have saved children and uh and
00:08:48.200 every step of the way where's the national organization of women where's the me too movement
00:08:54.720 where's the lgbtqi movement where are they they're nowhere to be found it's a lie these civil rights
00:09:04.100 organizations that claim to be leading civil rights they're bogus it's a sham all of it is a sham
00:09:13.260 you and i both know they're they might be there to help you if you're a liberal democrat yeah maybe
00:09:19.220 not not even necessarily look at tara reed lifelong liberal democrat accused joe biden went to times up
00:09:26.000 was basically told to pound sand because that organization with anita dunn running their
00:09:30.720 communications was tied up with joe biden so they lied to her and said oh we never take a case
00:09:34.680 that involves a politician well it wasn't true and now that organization has completely been
00:09:38.540 it's fallen apart i mean the the entire board has resigned now the head of that company was or that
00:09:44.060 organization was helping andrew cuomo instead of the accusers it they're corrupt they're they're there
00:09:49.760 to cozy up to power not to fight it and they certainly have no interest in in helping somebody who
00:09:55.800 has an r after their name their name that's why caitlin jenner who by the way is coming on my show
00:09:59.680 today with larry elder that would be fun that's why she she she's hated by them you would think
00:10:05.480 caitlin jenner she's the most famous trans person in the world they can't stand her right not because
00:10:10.680 she hasn't spoken out on trans issues but because she's a conservative republican right so megan how is
00:10:17.540 this are we making progress i mean i i feel like the world is absolutely on fire the world i described
00:10:25.980 where everyone said i was nuts it's not going to happen is the world we're living in now it's the
00:10:32.380 beginning of that world um and i do have some hope because i've seen average person people stand up and
00:10:40.620 say i'm not playing this game anymore i'll just do it myself um and i think there is a greater desire
00:10:48.320 universally for the truth and just not i'm not i'm sorry i'm not going to play the game i'm not
00:10:57.520 going to be an ally with things that are not true yeah are we getting better worse where are we in
00:11:06.560 this cycle do you think i don't think we're doing better on the trans front i have to say i think we're
00:11:10.860 still stuck in the midst of uh a crisis in understanding how to deal with that i think on the
00:11:16.540 racialization of the nation i feel like people are fighting back now that's been so prevalent in our
00:11:21.700 schools with the crt and the diminishing of black people because of their skin color and the shaming
00:11:26.580 of white people because of theirs i think parents are fighting back on that regular civilians if you
00:11:31.580 will civilly not people like pundits like you and me but but i don't know about the trans thing
00:11:35.700 but i aren't all of these things kind of connected like uh anthony fauci has zero credibility and that
00:11:43.720 thing is going to come undone in a big way so we're we're we're not listening to authority figures we're
00:11:50.720 not listening to these so-called uh uh science gods we we're we're looking for common sense coupled with
00:12:01.540 science and coupled with facts but we're not listening and giving the credibility you can go
00:12:07.120 ahead and try to smear people like you used to um and try to smear you and destroy you try to smear me
00:12:13.760 and uh and destroy me i don't think it works i don't think any of this stuff i think it's all coming
00:12:19.980 undone do you agree or not i should say that i i don't i don't know i i would like to say yes because
00:12:28.280 i've generally believed that you don't fight when somebody calls you a racist all the time it's like
00:12:32.180 you know i don't get out there and say oh no no no because who are you going to persuade the people
00:12:36.600 who want to believe that about you are determined to believe it and your fans the people who know you
00:12:40.560 they don't believe it to begin with they don't need to hear you take on you know these crazies who
00:12:44.600 use those terms indiscriminately so i i've just long believed there's no moving people on things like
00:12:50.340 that i do think that these terms you know bigotry whether it has to do with gender sexuality um race
00:12:58.180 what have you they've been completely diluted to the point now where they have far less meaning and
00:13:03.820 and that's that's a shame right they used to actually mean something where they could change
00:13:08.000 people's hearts and minds they don't anymore but i do think that the regular civilians like my
00:13:12.740 neighbors let's say you know people who i live next to when i'm at the jersey shore in the summer
00:13:16.580 they are still afraid of these very loud woke warriors and it's a small group i think they think
00:13:22.880 that they're they're bigger than they are it's i think it's 10 of the population is that and i do think
00:13:27.760 people like us who have these microphones if we don't start being louder and louder and encouraging
00:13:31.860 people to push back against this nonsense in their schools at their corporations in their sports in
00:13:37.360 their media in their hollywood choices then then we're going to lose then that 10 is going to grow
00:13:42.200 and grow and grow and become even more powerful megan kelly always good to talk to you i'd love to
00:13:48.040 spend some time i hope you are following what's going on with the state department uh in afghanistan
00:13:52.960 it is a crime and needs to be exposed um thank you so much megan you can hear her on her podcast
00:14:00.600 or now you can hear her on channel 111 it's the triumph channel if you're listening to us on uh
00:14:06.920 xm serious now just keep it where it is she'll be on right after this program megan thank you so
00:14:13.320 much always good to talk to you thanks glenn lots of love
00:14:15.920 this is the best of the glenn beck program and don't forget rate us on itunes
00:14:24.840 emily miller uh she's a journalist she's also a former state department deputy press secretary under
00:14:36.020 the bush administration and she joins us now uh you can find her uh at emilypostnews.com
00:14:44.600 or you can follow her on twitter at emily miller um she has been detailing what's going on in
00:14:51.880 afghanistan and uh i i've been reading her every day she's you're very good emily uh thank you for
00:14:59.340 your coverage and your honesty welcome thank you thank you for me i'm so glad to talk to you i've
00:15:05.280 been following every detail of what you've been doing to help get these people out and i'm just glad
00:15:11.000 we're all doing what we can yeah everybody's i mean it is really a nice thing to see i don't see any
00:15:18.460 infighting i don't see anybody you know taking victory except for the state department uh taking
00:15:24.540 victory laps everybody is just working together and trying their best to do what they can and
00:15:32.120 we're all kind of putting our pieces together which is nice it really is and i mean we'll look at this i
00:15:39.040 think in history um as two things one the greatest failure of the united states government in history
00:15:46.760 by far um but number two the strength of the american people while our president president
00:15:53.480 biden is so weak so weak and because of him the united states government fell apart and can't do its job
00:16:00.520 but in that void came all of all of us and you know it's the special forces operators who started
00:16:08.100 this saying we'll go ourselves and many of them have and many of them are planning on it we'll go
00:16:12.900 ourselves and get our guys out and it's as you said the ngos it's all these veterans who are
00:16:19.200 taking in the names planning they're getting out aircraft or however and and people like me we started
00:16:25.920 this group called project exodus a special forces operator and i did i didn't even know him a week
00:16:30.420 ago um and so now project exodus has joined with we have i don't know how many names have come in to us
00:16:36.940 now and we're tracking them all we're getting their passport numbers for the americans we're getting
00:16:41.080 their sv status for the others and we are talking to all of them every single day to give them safety
00:16:47.780 information and plan rescues however just as you said uh i think it was two days ago we we consolidated
00:16:56.040 all of us all of us pine book express is the best known one our group but there's tons of them across
00:17:01.480 the country and we share intel we share names we share databases this is the strength of the american
00:17:07.700 people this is what i want i hope that the people in afghanistan see that even though the government
00:17:13.940 our government has failed failed so miserably you can always trust the stress of american people and
00:17:19.740 i also hope our enemies around the world see that i do too that we are not weak our president is weak
00:17:26.120 we are strong and we will always do our job that is a that that is a great great point you know when
00:17:32.800 russia planned all kinds of invasions in america the one thing they never had on the board was an invasion
00:17:39.020 from mexico through texas because they knew texans would stand up uh and i think i hope that the our
00:17:47.580 enemies see that here that no matter what our government says about us it's not true it's not
00:17:54.440 true it's not the weakness of this president does not have nothing to do with the weakness of the
00:17:59.160 american people and our enemies were who all were in afghanistan the russians the chinese they know
00:18:06.200 they see this i mean they see this because they see americans on the ground there fighting they see
00:18:12.380 us helping the northern resistance force giving them intel helping them unfortunately it's been a
00:18:16.800 horror what's happened to them because the pakistan pakistan our weapons that we're
00:18:23.180 funding in pakistan have been used against the northern forces it's shameful but the our enemies
00:18:29.900 know the taliban isis k they know americans are in there and we're not walking away from this
00:18:35.960 they can put up that stupid photo with the green night vision goggles of the last person leaving
00:18:42.420 that's not that's going to show failure for us success is going to be that we stayed and we went
00:18:48.980 back and we are going to get these people out of there so help me out on a couple of things let's
00:18:54.440 start with the number of americans that are there chuck schumer just said yesterday every american that
00:18:59.500 wants to be out is out well i know we have over 100 ourselves that are in safe houses uh and ready to
00:19:07.980 get out wanting to get out been sitting there with airplanes for a week now and can't get out
00:19:15.180 yep i know your planes um i mean i just want to focus for one second on the planes they i want people
00:19:24.520 to understand it's not just about the six planes i think that's gotten somewhat confused in the media
00:19:29.120 it's not just about six planes in your planes and your people it's about that this is a really hard
00:19:34.660 country to get out of yeah i don't think this is not france where you can just walk across the border
00:19:39.720 to a better country this is a really complicated country and the best way that we can get these
00:19:45.040 americans out is by planes we can't get them out of planes because the state department won't let us
00:19:50.480 have the right documentations to fly to other countries so once those six planes start then we
00:19:56.480 can start putting more people on planes and like you said all the people who are in state houses in
00:20:00.200 mazar i mean sorry safe houses people who are stuck in kabul can't go to the airport because the u.s closed
00:20:06.280 the airport right so the bigger goal here is to get everyone to fly out unfortunately if this continues
00:20:12.940 like this with the state department we're going to have to start using land routes and that's so much
00:20:17.680 more dangerous and it's so much more difficult um but as you said just for hard numbers i um
00:20:24.460 the numbers that i keep hearing and i heard this from somebody inside the pentagon who saw a database
00:20:29.460 in the state department uh is a thousand and another source who has been working on this rescue since
00:20:36.680 a little bit earlier a couple of weeks earlier than i have had it at 750 so the government knows it's
00:20:42.480 750 to a thousand i mean i know that's still a big gap for american citizens like you should know
00:20:47.640 it to the number um but that's it's that many people so we have uh we've been having problems
00:20:55.120 with the state department as as you said and as i just tried to explain to the audience a few minutes
00:21:00.160 ago uh what that paperwork is and how easy it is to give um what what what do you think you've been in
00:21:08.180 the state department before why why would they be doing this i i i worked this is why afghanistan means
00:21:19.920 so much to me is i worked at the state department in the bush administration bush 43 i worked for
00:21:25.800 i was secretary powell's uh press secretary and then secretary rice's kandaleesa rice
00:21:31.180 i'm with them i went to afghanistan this is 2003 4 5 and it was so hopeful it was so hopeful i remember
00:21:40.120 going my best memory is going to come how to see women register to vote for the first time in their
00:21:47.500 lives they had a whole place so they got to register to vote for the first time they were so excited i mean
00:21:53.060 it was so hopeful and i we all those of us who are who are part of it were just you know our military
00:22:01.400 has lost many lives but it was for the greater good of getting rid of getting going after people who
00:22:07.560 did 9-11 the terrorists who did 9-11 and al-qaeda and then giving these people freedom in those early
00:22:14.080 years and now a lot of the same people work at state department um they are just they are not i mean
00:22:21.660 look i would say there are a lot of good brave people state department has taken jobs over the
00:22:26.880 years that i i would never take in countries i would never live in and they live in them and they
00:22:32.060 are great i don't even want to blame them i don't know it's biden's fault it's president biden's fault
00:22:39.420 it all falls on him he's in hiding it's hard to blame a man who's not there 100 because all it takes
00:22:46.200 is ordering them what to do no matter what state department does not operate by itself it's a
00:22:50.960 political agency lincoln was nominated or given his job by president biden he takes orders and
00:22:57.860 president biden everyone under him takes orders from him that's how it operates i've been calling
00:23:02.480 all my friends inside the state department the ones who are still there the career foreign service
00:23:06.360 and they are frustrated and they're doing everything they can to give me information that they can
00:23:12.080 but what i can see from the inside is it's just a total failure just they fell through the cracks
00:23:20.000 it is incompetence i'll tell you i i had a when i posted on twitter i think um last thursday there
00:23:29.300 are six planes grounded who can't get out of afghanistan because the state department well
00:23:36.940 guess who suddenly wanted to return my call the spokesman of the state department ned price
00:23:41.540 suddenly and look i'm nothing as ned he and i got along great it was a very cordial conversation
00:23:46.100 and i said to him and he asked me to speak confidentially and i want to i want to keep
00:23:50.820 to that and he told me how many americans were actually on the plane and he explained to me that
00:23:54.660 the problem for them was that they as you've heard them say is that it's a mix of people it's americans
00:24:00.860 plus and green card holders but it's also people with we have emily we have vetted every those are
00:24:08.340 our planes those were our people that i mean other groups helped find them they were on our planes we
00:24:13.520 had the manifest and everyone's name went through ofact every single name the state department has a
00:24:21.460 manifest we understand that those were persecuted about half of them were persecuted christians
00:24:26.860 we vet these guys better than the federal government does that's why i mean it that's why
00:24:33.260 the the nazarene fund is partners with countries like um australia we can get the prime minister of
00:24:41.620 australia on the phone at any time they have said we'll take your people anytime you need somebody we will
00:24:47.940 take them because we know who they are uh it's a bullcrap lie well let me ask you that because this is
00:24:56.780 i'd like to clear this up with you he said he did do you control all six of those planes because
00:25:02.980 no four okay four all right got it let me just tell you this and i will i will i'll break confidence
00:25:09.440 just a teeny bit i'm not gonna break confidence in fact it won't get anyone in trouble but just on
00:25:13.340 this part because i really think it'll go down as the example of how incompetent this government is
00:25:18.360 now ned is not ned is a spokesman um obviously he's with blinken all the time so he knows what you
00:25:23.680 know he knows all the intel but he's not the guy who's operating afghanistan there's a whole desk for
00:25:29.620 that i've worked with them they know their stuff he said to me that the reason for the holdup was
00:25:35.980 all the mixed people but he said the reason was that they didn't have a phone number for the for
00:25:42.680 the new york times operator and i mean they who's operating the plane that has new york times people on
00:25:48.400 it and i said um well i don't think not our phone that's not our plane yeah that's a different one
00:25:55.420 and it kind of made me curious if this whole thing is being confident being kept sacred by the state
00:26:00.720 department because it's a reporter and also made me curious actually make me probably likely that the
00:26:05.740 whole media kept this kept that quiet last week and i broke their silence but um because it's reporters
00:26:12.080 but that'll go down we'll look at that in history but he said that they didn't have a contact and
00:26:18.700 they've been trying all night to contact people oh my god oh my gosh we have somebody we oh my gosh
00:26:26.840 i know i know it's gonna drive you crazy here's what's gonna drive you even more crazy so one of
00:26:31.660 the guys on our team project express is in direct contact with conair is that how you say
00:26:37.760 camera camera camera i've only ever texted it that's right direct contact with our with the
00:26:43.100 rep for camera and he's the one who's actually giving the real information nothing the question
00:26:48.920 of like where they can land the process of the documents that they don't have the destination
00:26:53.440 documents and you know all that um and just it's about issue but i get back to him and i said we
00:27:00.120 really need to do some help here state department needs contact for the operators of each of those
00:27:04.920 planes and he said to me what does he mean by operators and i was like oh i just actually assumed
00:27:09.980 that was a phrase you knew and this guy's special forces he's overseas um and he's our direct contact
00:27:15.800 with that airline and he said he said it's just one guy at cam air and i'm like well do you have a
00:27:22.860 phone number for him and so he texts me i won't say his name on on air he texts me the guy's cell phone
00:27:28.400 number and i call back to ned at state department i'm like it's this man at the airlines here's his
00:27:36.340 cell and he's like oh great thank you so much oh my gosh emily it is i mean they have
00:27:42.480 i i i'd like to talk to you off the air i i need to share some stories with you um because it's it's uh
00:27:51.360 this is i i think this is criminal what's going on um thank you so much emily for everything that
00:27:59.020 you are doing i i really appreciate it thank you for project exodus um it's it's just good to see
00:28:05.580 people doing what is right uh you can follow her at emilypostnews.com or on twitter emily miller
00:28:13.180 uh and she is one of the creators of uh project exodus getting people out and finding them and
00:28:22.840 getting communication from them so i am trying to eat healthier and i am but the thing is i don't
00:28:29.740 like healthy food i don't like any of it you've heard of a fat suit right i mean there's got to be
00:28:35.180 when are we getting a skinny suit something that will make me look skinny because i just want
00:28:39.920 treats all the time i grew up in a bakery for the love of pete the bad news is no skinny suit is
00:28:45.340 coming you actually have to do the work blah blah blah that's why i am eating built bars it
00:28:50.220 satisfies my sweet tooth but it's a protein bar but not like you know that's like eating stuff at
00:28:55.940 the bottom of my chalkboard usually this is a hundred percent real chocolate it's low carb low sugar

00:29:28.380 the benghazi annex security team member the founder of shadow warriors project
00:29:38.500 and now uh heading up some evacuation efforts in afghanistan the one and only mark geist known as
00:29:47.120 oz hey mark how are you man good how are you i am good i am uh unfortunately i thought of you
00:29:56.960 and benghazi while the the just the chaos was happening at the kabul airport how similar did
00:30:06.740 that did that give you any flashbacks any kind of feeling like oh boy they're doing it again
00:30:10.900 you know it did um and and what really kind of hit home um as it was progressing was i thought back to
00:30:21.200 the people who were in charge of our government at that time and the in charge of the state department
00:30:29.160 were you know ambassador uh rice i mean those same people are now doing the same thing once again and
00:30:36.640 they didn't learn from the first time where they failed to do what was right and to send help and
00:30:42.280 the appropriate help instead of always trying to do this uh i kind of call it that uh uh fish handshake
00:30:49.060 with everybody yeah um and that's their approach to foreign policy is we're going to shake your hand
00:30:55.260 and we're going to try to you know negotiate it out when you're dealing with a group of people who
00:31:00.320 um do not negotiate they believe in power they believe in strength and they believe in force and
00:31:07.540 that's the enemy that we have our gates in afghanistan and now because of the way we pulled
00:31:14.080 out of there i believe we have to be ready for it here at home because we have a southern border
00:31:18.740 that's not secure jeez lindsey graham said the other day he thinks we're going to have to go back
00:31:23.940 into afghanistan because he said this is going to be the center of global terrorists and i mean we've
00:31:30.460 only made them stronger and things are going to start happening around the world and here that he thinks
00:31:36.560 we'll be back within five years i think we'll be back within the next 45 to 90 days
00:31:42.360 holy cow why do you say that i just think with the way that we have pulled out that we didn't leave
00:31:50.460 any type of uh agreement we didn't force them to come to the table with and be accountable to
00:31:57.740 not just america and americans but to the world as a whole and now we're trying to treat the taliban who
00:32:06.020 we forced out through um through i mean through combat out of afghanistan and we've allowed them
00:32:14.820 back and now we're treating them as the official government when truly the official government is
00:32:20.180 still fighting up in the panjir valley at least hopefully hopefully they still are to this day
00:32:25.500 um our weapons are being used against them um and so they're having a hard time standing but they
00:32:31.220 are still standing um why do you say we'll go back in i mean it's the same people that got us out and
00:32:37.300 i mean what is going to change at the pentagon state department white house what do you see coming
00:32:43.900 that would change that i think what's going to happen that's what is going to happen from afghanistan
00:32:51.900 itself and with what's going on there um behind the scenes and what we're going to what we won't see
00:33:01.800 until we have brave afghans who are going to get information out about what truly is the taliban is
00:33:11.180 going to be doing to people and i think it's going to be so horrendous that it's going to require
00:33:15.640 the world to stand up and take heed of what it is what's going on there
00:33:21.240 in some ways i hope you're right i mean i don't want to go back in there but i mean i don't know
00:33:27.060 if you heard about the police officer the female police officer that was pregnant in front of her
00:33:32.260 13 year old 12 13 year old boy um she was brutally killed and then they cut her brain out uh with knives
00:33:43.680 and screwdrivers in front of him and the world is not really paying attention just
00:33:51.040 not paying attention and that's i'm i can guarantee you not an isolated incident
00:33:56.540 no not at all and you know we have american citizens who in essence are being held hostage
00:34:05.600 by the taliban in moza sharif i mean you know that we have airplanes up there there are planes i think
00:34:13.780 the nazarene project through you have helped fund that are being held and restricted and you know
00:34:21.640 it's in those people are that are manifested for those flights are american citizens and they're not
00:34:28.440 being allowed to leave and we're not doing anything and we have a president who's on vacation and we have
00:34:33.240 a vice president who's trying to campaign for gavin newsom who has run california into the ground
00:34:41.600 we're talking to uh mark geist known as oz he was a part of the benghazi benghazi annex security team
00:34:49.500 um you might remember him from the movie uh 13 hours uh a remarkable remarkable story he is now
00:34:58.320 helping with uh evacuation efforts in afghanistan uh so you say and i know and we both know there are
00:35:06.500 plenty of americans we we have left behind there is nothing more dishonorable uh than what we have
00:35:14.120 done in afghanistan losing is one thing being dishonorable in our loss is entirely a different
00:35:22.120 thing um tell me what you're doing in afghanistan um so my non-profit is called shadow warriors project
00:35:32.020 and it came out of what happened to me and in um benghazi and uh you know as private security
00:35:39.060 contractors um we have a workman's comp policy when we get injured or killed and that's it
00:35:45.200 uh my pay stopped the day i left uh the country of libya which was on september 12th um jeez
00:35:54.040 and we we started this because we have in the past 20 years we've had over 5 000 private military
00:36:03.400 contractors killed over 30 000 injured in the war on terror and they've had to depend on a workman's
00:36:09.800 comp policy and no one's there to have their back and especially those who are in the security
00:36:13.980 side of things that are facing the day-to-day threats just as our military are and um we wanted
00:36:20.160 to make sure that they didn't struggle when they got injured or killed they didn't have to worry
00:36:23.400 about that and that's what really started our program and since then over the last uh seven
00:36:28.420 years we've really grown um where we have a lot of different apparatus we have a canine program where
00:36:34.220 we get service dogs to both contractors and veterans um a lot of times they're one in the same
00:36:40.000 and then we have a canine therapy program where we bring in eight to 12 combat vets pair them uh we
00:36:46.600 introduce them to christ we pair them with the dogs for a week we use the dogs to teach them how to
00:36:51.160 manage their anxiety and stress and then we have peer-to-peer counseling and and that's kind of
00:36:57.660 the crux of our that's our foundation but then when afghanistan um went awry we knew that we had
00:37:04.520 contractors that were overseas that were stuck there and so we wanted to get involved and we partnered
00:37:10.200 with uh a lot of different veteran service organizations because we knew that the government
00:37:14.980 wasn't going to be there i mean we've all experienced that before so we have partnered with other groups
00:37:20.180 and are working tirelessly every day to uh since it started to get um people out and luckily through
00:37:28.820 our connections that we've had with other military personnel our experience that we've gained over the
00:37:33.900 last 20 years of fighting this enemy we've been very successful can you can you tell me because i was
00:37:39.820 reading about it and it says um we're partnering with other veteran service organizations in de-conflicting
00:37:46.000 and supporting each other in assisting american citizens green card holders pastors missionaries as
00:37:51.540 well as afghan allies from being left behind what do you mean de-conflicting well is making we're
00:37:58.600 help coordinating who's working in um different areas so we're not um wasting time or resources by
00:38:07.160 having uh multiple groups doing the same thing trying to help with connecting the right people
00:38:14.800 to each other that can help support one another instead of be working in areas that would cause um
00:38:22.040 consternation between them just with uh surrounding countries with coordinating with other countries where
00:38:28.760 we can get the refugees into uh and you know we've done this pretty much without the help of any
00:38:36.840 government groups whatsoever it's just american citizens who have worked with the government
00:38:42.140 and military personnel who are now veterans that uh saw a need and i mean um it's very similar i call it
00:38:51.880 operation uh dunkirk in a sense is uh it's exactly right it's it's um it's people taking care of
00:38:59.260 those that are getting left behind you know i was talking to uh emily miller about a half an hour ago and
00:39:05.220 she said she hopes that the people of afghanistan see and i think the rest of the world needs to see it
00:39:11.660 especially our enemies don't confuse our government with the people the people are not disorganized
00:39:19.700 the people get things done we still are the roll our sleeves up and get the damn job done no matter
00:39:25.840 what the odds it's our government that has given up on really not just the people left behind but i
00:39:32.100 think given up on america that you know biden doesn't even have the agreement in kosovo is uh coming up
00:39:39.720 here in the next couple of uh weeks he doesn't even they're not even engaged on it the last president
00:39:46.520 worked really hard to get a peace agreement there it's coming up we're not even engaged it's like
00:39:53.440 they've given up on america being anything other than a has-been i can agree with you more i mean
00:40:02.780 it's you know we've given up on afghanistan and like you said we're giving up on kosovo and
00:40:07.760 and eastern europe um all for the sake of what i mean right for the sake of money for the sake of
00:40:15.220 you know like afghanistan we left behind not only the people we've left behind and we left behind
00:40:20.160 it's estimated anywhere between 900 billion and 2.4 trillion dollars in precious minerals that are
00:40:30.720 instrumental in building circuit boards and computer equipment and communications equipment and
00:40:36.360 all sources i've talked to the chinese are in there already trying to make deals the russians are
00:40:42.720 already back in there um i have no doubt that the uh russian intel services the gru are um assisting
00:40:52.100 we we've had operators going in trying to help that say they have seen the russians on the ground
00:40:58.440 and uh today the story broke that china is looking at bagram as a uh as a destination for all of their
00:41:07.320 you know heavy equipment if you will well and why would you not i mean bagram sits in a in a in probably
00:41:14.700 the most defensible place in afghanistan um you've got the high ground you've got multiple runways it's
00:41:22.520 a large facility and why we didn't um at least blow it up that is our at a minimum that but start before
00:41:31.140 that glenn oh i know why didn't we use that as our area of helping get out right afghans and we still
00:41:38.300 could be flying we still could be flying the great tails out of that air force base easy yes easy and
00:41:46.060 and we wouldn't have had to put un unvetted people into america we wouldn't have had to need the use or
00:41:54.840 the support of other countries because bagram's big enough we could have isolated people that want to
00:42:00.320 come to america we could have went ran them through the terror database we could have done everything
00:42:04.240 that needed to be done and i mean i hate to talk about what could have been done but we have to look
00:42:09.600 at what could have been done to understand why we're in the mess we're in yes um mark geist um you can
00:42:15.320 follow him at mark geist.com uh or mark geist swp that shadows warrior project uh any way we can help you
00:42:25.020 mark with what you're doing i i can't thank you enough for what you guys are doing on the ground
00:42:29.520 you know the thing right now is we've got people that are we have people in um safe houses we've
00:42:37.200 got american citizens and green card holders that we are trying to get out um you know it's we'd love
00:42:42.900 to help get all the others out and we're going to continue with that as well well i right now it's
00:42:47.680 like that we need to get out of here i know and uh as soon as our planes start to fly we have four on
00:42:53.420 the tarmac now we're waiting for the state department to get the hell out of our way
00:42:56.860 and uh we've got 10 others lined up so i i hope we can uh partner with you in any way that we can
00:43:05.380 just to help people thank you so much mark hey glenn thank you so much you bet god bless
