The Glenn Beck Program - Best of the Program ｜ Guests： Rep. Chip Roy & Rob McCoy ｜ 9⧸24⧸25

00:00:00.000 Wow. Today's show took a wild turn just a few minutes before we went on the air because of the shooting that happened at the ICE headquarters.

00:00:10.480 So we tried to make sense of that all day.

00:00:15.980 There's a couple of pleas on today's show that I hope you hear.

00:00:19.260 But one is stop backing the violence. You have to break the loop.

00:00:22.460 We're in a Bermuda Triangle. America is in a Bermuda Triangle of violence right now.

00:00:27.620 And explain what that means and how to get out of that loop.

00:00:31.080 On the full show, this is the edited show, but on the full show, I go deeper into this.

00:00:36.500 And I think it's really something you need to hear.

00:00:39.060 We talked to Chip Roy. We talked about what is happening and how do we fight this.

00:00:44.400 And also Charlie Kirk's pastor, one of the bravest men I know, Rob McCoy.

00:00:48.920 We talk a little bit about Charlie, but we talk about Charlie because I have decided to pick something up

00:00:56.080 that Charlie was going to do after he got back out of Utah and expose some things that are happening in South Korea.

00:01:05.800 I had a young woman who had been working with Charlie on this in South Korea fly in.

00:01:12.320 She was in my office yesterday.

00:01:14.180 When she goes home, she's probably going to be arrested. 1.00

00:01:17.100 But they are arresting pastors in South Korea.

00:01:20.960 What's happening in South Korea should be very disturbing.

00:01:23.620 China is making a move and their Chinese-backed Marxist, Mao-Marxist government is now doing everything they can 0.60

00:01:33.840 to dismantle America and faith in South Korea.

00:01:38.840 And you need to know about it.

00:01:41.600 Rob will be here to tell you a little bit more about it, but also what you can do in your own personal life.

00:01:48.300 That's all on today's edited podcast.

00:01:50.580 First, my Patriot Supply.

00:01:54.240 Every time another minute ticks on the clock, you're rolling the dice and making a bet.

00:01:58.360 You're betting that the power is going to stay on.

00:02:00.620 Pretty good bet.

00:02:01.700 Supply chains stay open.

00:02:03.320 Okay.

00:02:04.040 The store down the road will still have food on the shelf when you need it for your family.

00:02:07.600 That one's kind of dicey depending on where you live.

00:02:09.960 And most of the time, the bet pays off.

00:02:12.300 But when something doesn't, when something goes wrong, you don't get a do-over.

00:02:15.720 And that's why I tell people, be prepared.

00:02:18.120 It's not about fear or anything else.

00:02:21.500 It's the exact opposite.

00:02:23.080 When the news breaks, the shelves are empty now.

00:02:26.140 And you don't want to have to worry about that.

00:02:28.400 Your family is taken care of.

00:02:30.360 Breakfast, lunch, dinner, everything you need to keep your family fed for weeks without ever having to sit foot in a panicked grocery store.

00:02:37.620 Peace of mind isn't something you find in the moment.

00:02:39.660 It's something you prepare for in advance.

00:02:42.000 My Patriot Supply is where you start.

00:02:43.780 You go to MyPatriotSupply.com slash Glenn, you get 90 preparedness essentials totaling $1,500 absolutely free to find out how.

00:03:13.360 We work tirelessly to bring you the unfiltered truth because you deserve it.

00:03:18.600 But to keep this fight going, we need you.

00:03:33.580 This isn't a podcast.

00:03:34.960 This is a movement.

00:03:36.560 And you're part of it.

00:03:37.520 A big part of it.

00:03:38.260 So if you believe in what we're doing, you want more people to wake up, help us push this podcast to the top.

00:03:43.500 Rate, review, share.

00:03:45.100 Together, we'll make a difference.

00:03:47.200 And thanks for standing with us.

00:03:48.480 Now let's get to work.

00:03:49.420 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:04:01.080 I'm going to talk to you about this Bermuda Triangle that I think we're entering now as a country.

00:04:07.020 And if we do not have the spirit with us, if we are not policing our own selves right now, if we are not paying attention, we are going to get lost in this Bermuda Triangle.

00:04:21.720 And perhaps the whole ship of America will get lost here.

00:04:24.240 But we are now in the Bermuda Triangle.

00:04:27.480 This triangle, one side of it is political violence.

00:04:30.760 We have seen the unthinkable over the last few days, the assassination of Charlie Kirk, attempts on a former president's life, the casual whispers that bloodshed is somehow or another inevitable and good and right and righteous.

00:04:46.440 We have the shooting today, multiple rounds from an elevated position into the entryway of ICE.

00:04:54.420 We don't know who did it yet.

00:04:55.720 We don't know their motivation.

00:04:57.600 But three people, critical condition.

00:05:00.180 The shooter is now dead.

00:05:01.860 Self-inflicted gunshot wound.

00:05:03.760 We don't know.

00:05:06.140 But this is going to happen more and more.

00:05:09.040 And our streets are out of control.

00:05:13.760 Now, on the second side of this triangle is speech control.

00:05:19.380 Governments, corporations, international bodies working in tandem, NGOs to decide what can be said, what has to be silenced, and who's allowed to stand in the public square.

00:05:28.280 And they'll tell us it's all for our public safety.

00:05:31.500 That's what happened last time under Biden.

00:05:33.920 It was all for our safety.

00:05:35.240 It wasn't for our safety.

00:05:36.240 We find out now that the FBI was working with an NGO, a pro-abortion NGO, that was helping them identify people that they thought should go to jail.

00:05:48.400 It's never been done before in American history that we are aware of, at least.

00:05:51.880 And there's going to be, it'll be met by a big yawn.

00:05:55.780 Google yesterday reinstating people that they were told had to get off line.

00:06:01.520 And again, nobody's really reporting it.

00:06:03.640 This freedom of speech stuff, censorship, it's happening.

00:06:07.520 And it doesn't pacify violence, it fertilizes it.

00:06:12.200 When dissent can't be spoken, it festers in the dark.

00:06:16.920 That's why you can't ever shut down speech.

00:06:19.820 It's better to hear people know where they come from, try to understand it the best you can, and then police it the best you can in your own life.

00:06:27.880 But you don't want to, I want to know who the bad guys are.

00:06:30.800 I want to know who believes in communism and who doesn't, not because I'm going to do something about it, just so I can understand that's a person I don't trust, okay?

00:06:42.200 All of this stuff is done in darkness, okay?

00:06:46.140 They have been persecuting the right forever.

00:06:50.140 But when their persecution, they've been picking at this scab on us for 20 years, for 20 years.

00:06:56.980 They've been trying to get you to strike out, and you won't.

00:07:00.800 And so, what do they do?

00:07:03.460 They have to persecute you even more.

00:07:05.620 And because we haven't stood up and slapped them down in the violent way that they want, they have to become violent.

00:07:14.760 Because that's the only thing left to them now, is violence.

00:07:18.840 I told you this a couple years ago, that assassinations were on the way.

00:07:23.100 It was the only thing the left had left.

00:07:25.440 That and absolute revolution in the streets all across America.

00:07:30.800 And it's here now.

00:07:33.900 We are in this Bermuda Triangle.

00:07:35.740 So, the first side of this triangle is political violence.

00:07:42.220 The second side is speech control.

00:07:44.180 And that is happening, especially in all Western countries.

00:07:49.080 It would be much worse here if we would have not won this election.

00:07:53.460 But I want to bring up freedom of speech and our possible coming police state.

00:08:03.140 I don't even know.

00:08:04.360 How do you, with people not understanding basic rights like freedom of speech, with people turning everything inside out, so we no longer have the Bill of Rights as our common denominator, that we all understand that we are created and given these rights by God that no one can take away.

00:08:28.280 How do you hold a society together, especially if that society is becoming so immoral and so dark, they just kill people? 1.00

00:08:37.740 Just kill them. 1.00

00:08:38.600 You have a right to kill them. 1.00

00:08:39.480 You disagree with them. 1.00

00:08:40.260 What do you do with that?

00:08:46.580 Okay.

00:08:47.440 So, what's the third side?

00:08:49.660 The third side is justice that appears uneven.

00:08:53.660 One set of rules for this group.

00:08:55.640 Another set of rules for that group.

00:08:57.620 Prosecutions here.

00:08:58.560 Immunity over there.

00:08:59.560 Even if the facts are complicated, the perception of a two-tier justice system will break the backbone of a free society every single time because people will lose faith in the system and they no longer believe that the system will hear them fairly.

00:09:17.820 So, they stop knocking at the doors and then you get the Bubba effect.

00:09:21.060 So, you've got two sides.

00:09:24.660 You have one side whose intent is to collapse the United States of America.

00:09:29.780 It is to have revolution and they have conned a great number of our citizens into believing that that's the right thing and that they're not the bad guys.

00:09:40.540 They're not the fascist.

00:09:41.880 But the other side is doing everything they can to not be violent and to say, I forgive you, I forgive you, I forgive you, I'm not going to engage like that.

00:09:54.720 I will keep my first citizenship to the kingdom of God while I protect my second citizenship. 0.50

00:10:02.180 I will not act out of line.

00:10:04.360 That's what you saw with Charlie Kirk.

00:10:05.800 I will not respond in kind.

00:10:08.260 But both sides, one is the agitator, one is the agitated, and if we give up that role that we're playing right now, it's over.

00:10:18.600 It's over.

00:10:19.900 So, what do you do?

00:10:21.880 What is the possible solution here?

00:10:28.080 The only solution that I see is that we step out of this loop.

00:10:32.120 And the best way to do that, something that everyone must do, we must sanctify once more the one principle that we all used to have as a very bottom line.

00:10:49.300 I mean, this is the lowest hurdle that violence delegitimizes your cause.

00:10:56.700 You are not a legitimate cause if you are backing violence.

00:11:02.360 And there cannot be any hedging.

00:11:04.560 There can't be any excuses.

00:11:06.680 We defend free speech even for those we despise because it's the last relief valve before chaos.

00:11:14.480 We demand equal justice under the law, not as a favor, but as a minimum condition of a free people.

00:11:21.360 And when I say I want justice under the law equally, I don't mean some social justice.

00:11:28.600 I mean actual justice.

00:11:30.460 I want that.

00:11:31.880 I want justice to be blindfolded again.

00:11:34.560 I don't care how you vote.

00:11:36.300 I don't care what your color is. 0.57

00:11:38.040 I don't care what you do, what you believe.

00:11:41.840 The law is the law.

00:11:43.320 And I want a fair constitutional trial for every single person.

00:11:51.140 And if we can't get back to that, if we can't say there is no place for violence, no ifs, ands, buts, no excuses, nothing, nothing.

00:11:59.200 There is nothing that follows what happened today with ICE.

00:12:04.480 If that was somebody on the left that's trying to put ICE out of business, or if that's somebody on the right who's sick and tired of, you know, illegals, you know, maybe they had their son or daughter killed or whatever by an illegal. 0.95

00:12:22.180 You could come up with the most rational thing that they were like, they were beyond their, they had their kids killed or raped by illegals. 1.00

00:12:32.400 And so they just lost their mind and they went up on a shoe. 0.98

00:12:35.180 There is no excuse for it.

00:12:37.860 There is no excuse.

00:12:39.000 And that person must be tried in a court of law, found guilty and pay the full punishment.

00:12:47.300 I don't care which side.

00:12:49.820 Violence is not acceptable in politics.

00:12:54.900 Period.

00:12:55.460 Well, I do want to add, but the others, no, period.

00:13:05.440 And every single one of us must sanctify this now because it's going to get worse.

00:13:13.700 Do not tolerate somebody who says, well, what happened to Charlie Kirk was really wrong.

00:13:20.120 But, you know, no, it's wrong.

00:13:24.020 Period.

00:13:25.960 Period.

00:13:27.960 What happened in Minnesota where God only knows that story.

00:13:34.240 God only knows the names of those people that he was trying to kill.

00:13:38.220 But when they, when they killed that politician, when that guy came to the door dressed like a demon, that was wrong.

00:13:54.820 Period. 0.93

00:13:56.980 Period.

00:13:58.000 It's an outrage.

00:13:58.980 It's the destruction of our civilization.

00:14:02.240 Period.

00:14:02.560 Period.

00:14:03.040 And all of us should have been saying that every single time.

00:14:07.580 I know I am every single time.

00:14:09.600 I'm pretty sure you are every single time.

00:14:14.980 The other thing we have to do, if we're going to get out of this Bermuda Triangle alive,

00:14:19.780 you must choose peace.

00:14:25.500 That doesn't mean you passively sit on the sidelines.

00:14:29.280 You do not surrender.

00:14:32.560 But you look to Christ for his example.

00:14:37.840 You ask for the Spirit to be with you all the time.

00:14:41.940 If you don't foster having the Holy Spirit guide your every step, your every action, your every word, every day,

00:14:51.280 if you're not doubling down on your faith right now, you will not make it.

00:14:57.140 You will be lost in the fog of this Bermuda Triangle.

00:15:00.780 There has to be enough of us that have that spirit so clear we can lead the rest out of this triangle.

00:15:10.940 There is no way to save this country without God.

00:15:15.820 There is no way.

00:15:17.060 I'm telling you, when you hear what I'm going to release next hour about South Korea,

00:15:24.320 you will understand.

00:15:26.720 You will understand.

00:15:28.420 This country is surrounded.

00:15:30.580 And all of it is aiming its guns to us because if we collapse, it's over for freedom.

00:15:41.460 So we have a choice.

00:15:43.240 We can either stay asleep or we can argue back and forth about politics,

00:15:47.880 or we can start living our lives on the principles that built this nation.

00:15:53.420 And I'm sorry, gang.

00:15:54.960 It's uncomfortable for a lot of people.

00:15:56.920 But this is a Christian principled nation first.

00:16:01.700 And when I say that, it doesn't mean stone gaze.

00:16:06.200 What it means is love thy neighbor.

00:16:08.920 That's what it means.

00:16:13.840 Love those who hate you and despise you and pray for them.

00:16:19.400 Give forgiveness.

00:16:23.420 Ask for forgiveness.

00:16:26.160 Lead.

00:16:26.780 You're not getting this in your churches.

00:16:31.700 And shame on them.

00:16:33.380 Because our churches are the only ones.

00:16:36.560 That's their only job.

00:16:38.380 That's their only job.

00:16:40.460 And they're timid.

00:16:41.740 They're afraid.

00:16:43.540 Christ will not recognize you.

00:16:45.940 He will not.

00:16:46.820 You're not one of mine.

00:16:47.940 Who are you?

00:16:50.340 Well, I was talking about you didn't do anything.

00:16:53.280 You talked.

00:16:54.060 You didn't do anything.

00:16:56.480 Charlie Kirk gave his life for what he believed in.

00:17:00.260 What have you done, pastor?

00:17:10.820 Here's my call to you today.

00:17:13.100 Break the loop.

00:17:14.760 Speak up when you see violence excused.

00:17:17.160 Push back when you see censorship cloaked as safety or kindness on any side.

00:17:23.000 Demand that justice is blind again.

00:17:26.580 And live.

00:17:28.380 Live.

00:17:29.420 Live.

00:17:30.200 Live.

00:17:31.240 Fight for life.

00:17:32.960 Live life.

00:17:34.220 Live every second like it is your last second.

00:17:37.620 And live it in a way that makes forgiveness possible.

00:17:41.040 And if you do that, if you do that, America may be healed.

00:17:50.060 If you don't do that, that triangle is going to turn into a noose.

00:17:55.760 But the choice is ours.

00:17:59.440 The choice is real.

00:18:01.040 And the choice is right now.

00:18:04.980 What is your optimism level on all that happening?

00:18:10.040 20 days ago, poor.

00:18:13.220 Today, high.

00:18:15.080 Really?

00:18:15.640 Yeah.

00:18:15.840 I saw a miracle.

00:18:17.420 I stood in that.

00:18:18.540 I stood there.

00:18:19.640 I was there.

00:18:20.660 I was there.

00:18:21.720 I witnessed it.

00:18:22.720 There is something happening all around the world.

00:18:24.920 I was in my office yesterday with this brave, brave woman from South Korea.

00:18:29.780 She's going back, probably going to prison. 1.00

00:18:32.680 She knows it.

00:18:33.900 She knows it.

00:18:36.300 I said, can we help get you asylum here?

00:18:39.700 She's like, no, my family is there.

00:18:41.040 And I can't give up my country.

00:18:43.000 What's happening, you know, you want to talk about freedom of speech?

00:18:49.060 Do you know Bible Gateway is blocked now in Europe?

00:18:51.640 To get a Bible passage in some parts in Europe, it's being blocked.

00:18:56.820 You can't get Bible passages.

00:19:00.180 Okay?

00:19:00.840 That's how far it has gone.

00:19:03.340 They just threw a pastor in South Korea into prison.

00:19:07.040 Why?

00:19:08.520 For preaching the truth.

00:19:10.100 For preaching the truth that you are in charge.

00:19:14.240 There is no king but Christ.

00:19:19.180 This movement always, always goes after the Jews. 0.99

00:19:23.160 I mean, it's a spiritual enemy.

00:19:24.960 It's not flesh and bone.

00:19:26.460 That's not what we're fighting.

00:19:28.440 It always goes after the Jews. 1.00

00:19:31.400 And then it comes after the Christians. 1.00

00:19:33.500 It must destroy religion. 0.96

00:19:35.600 It must, because that's the only thing that makes people do what Charlie Kirk did.

00:19:43.700 It's the only thing.

00:19:45.100 What is bigger than politics?

00:19:48.660 What's bigger in your life?

00:19:51.060 How many people are trying to fight, you know, for, you know, Donald Trump or fight against Donald Trump?

00:19:56.180 What's bigger than that?

00:19:58.440 God.

00:19:59.000 But too many people look at rights coming from the government and not from God.

00:20:05.380 And so they've got to fight for their rights there.

00:20:07.320 No.

00:20:08.300 That's not where your rights belong.

00:20:13.900 I'm hoping it doesn't turn into 9-11 where we all promptly forgot.

00:20:17.320 But I think America is going to wake up very soon.

00:20:24.420 And we are at the last hour.

00:20:27.160 I think America is waking up.

00:20:29.340 And if we wake up in time, we will save freedom for the rest of the world.

00:20:32.900 But we are literally surrounded.

00:20:35.040 I mean, look at Canada.

00:20:37.020 They'd round up those truck drivers again.

00:20:39.540 They'd do it today.

00:20:40.500 Oh, yeah.

00:20:41.680 They'd have less hesitation probably now.

00:20:44.240 Look at the people gulping down the Tylenol.

00:20:46.000 What is that?

00:20:48.060 What a weird development.

00:20:48.860 I'm going to address that next.

00:20:50.540 I've got to talk about that because that's just – that is bizarre.

00:20:54.140 That's bizarre.

00:20:54.800 It shows you how unhinged people really are right now.

00:21:01.200 Make sure you have the Spirit with you at all times.

00:21:04.180 Fall to your knees and pray.

00:21:07.100 Humble yourself and reconnect with God in the Spirit.

00:21:13.400 Let me tell you about American financing.

00:21:15.220 I think most Americans have someday in mind when it comes to their finances.

00:21:19.220 Someday we'll pay off the credit cards.

00:21:21.300 Someday we'll get a handle on the mortgage.

00:21:23.480 Someday we'll feel like we're just, you know, not – we're treading water right now.

00:21:27.440 But someday we'll stop that.

00:21:29.600 The truth is, if that's your thinking, you are going to fill your days with nothing but empty yesterdays.

00:21:37.040 Someday rarely comes.

00:21:38.960 Now, I want to talk to you about American financing.

00:21:41.620 I want to talk to you about actually changing your life.

00:21:43.320 This is not just a lender.

00:21:45.760 They're a team of salary-based mortgage consultants who actually take the time to understand your full financial picture.

00:21:51.140 Now, maybe you want to lower your monthly payment.

00:21:52.880 Pay off high interest debt.

00:21:54.300 Tap into your home's equity.

00:21:55.500 Build a safety net without extending your term.

00:21:57.900 Whatever your goals are, they'll help you build a strategy that makes sense.

00:22:01.140 Not for their commissions, but for you.

00:22:03.840 Because they don't work on commission.

00:22:05.220 They work for you.

00:22:06.060 So, stop waiting for someday to fix itself.

00:22:08.540 If you own a home, you already have the tools you need at your disposal.

00:22:11.820 And American financing can help you put them all to work.

00:22:14.620 So, go to American financing at 800-906-2440, 800-906-2440, or Americanfinancing.net.

00:22:20.360 Now, back to the podcast.

00:22:23.100 This is the best of the Glenn Beck Program.

00:22:25.040 And don't forget, rate us on iTunes.

00:22:28.160 Pastor McCoy, let me just, first of all, thank you for the effect you had on Charlie Kirk.

00:22:35.400 I know he was a sponge, but this man lived his life, and you were there to teach him so much and to help him on his way.

00:22:49.580 And the memorial service, it is a miracle I have prayed for for 30 years.

00:22:56.540 I've never seen anything like it, and you played a huge role in all of this.

00:23:01.080 And I cannot thank you enough for what you've done.

00:23:05.400 Well, Glenn, I thank you and all your listeners.

00:23:09.220 I mean, America honored Charlie.

00:23:12.660 And you're right that the man was a sponge.

00:23:16.940 I mean, he would ask me a question about a specific theological issue, and then the next day he'd be an expert on it.

00:23:23.700 And the longer you spend time with him, you get stretch marks on your brain, because he just, he was a voracious reader.

00:23:29.900 He was always learning.

00:23:30.940 And, man, I just, he had such a tender heart for the things of God.

00:23:36.620 And it showed in everything he did.

00:23:39.740 And the world's getting to see that part of him, not the label that the left put on him.

00:23:44.040 That's all being dismantled and dismissed.

00:23:46.960 People are seeing him for who he really was.

00:23:48.720 And it's a real awakening.

00:23:51.200 It's exciting.

00:23:52.180 So I'm going to put a picture up on the screen, Rob.

00:23:56.960 And it is a, it's a picture with Charlie and a pastor in South Korea.

00:24:07.240 Right.

00:24:07.680 Can you tell the audience what is, because you were there, what is happening?

00:24:12.620 So the, the, the, the pastor in the picture with Charlie is a man by the name of Pastor Son, who is, um, ex-Korean special forces.

00:24:22.480 He's married with three kids.

00:24:24.520 You know, you can't fake good kids is what Charlie used to say.

00:24:27.700 And his kids are amazing.

00:24:28.780 His wife is amazing.

00:24:31.280 And he pastors the largest church in Busan, uh, South Korea.

00:24:37.500 He has about 15,000 congregants.

00:24:39.840 He was the only pastor to stay open, uh, during COVID.

00:24:43.700 Uh, they threatened him.

00:24:45.440 They, they tried to sue him into oblivion by lawfare.

00:24:49.160 And then when they tried to enforce, um, you know, transgenderism and, and the whole alphabet soup on the church,

00:24:57.780 uh, he, he stood in opposition and millions of people marched in all five major cities in South Korea as a result of this man.

00:25:07.120 And so when this new regime took over, uh, they, they came right after Pastor Son.

00:25:13.720 And we were in that picture where you, I'm, I'm in the room.

00:25:17.900 I'm, I'm watching Charlie standing next to him.

00:25:21.200 Um, Pastor Son said, it's likely I'll be arrested.

00:25:24.480 And Charlie said to him, if you're arrested, I can't speak on behalf of our government, but, but myself, if you're arrested, I'm, I'm going to call the secretary of state.

00:25:35.260 If I, and if he, he answers, I'm going to, I'm going to make sure he hears this.

00:25:39.960 And, uh, he said, I'll do everything I can to get attention to this.

00:25:43.660 And Pastor Son, he said, thank you.

00:25:46.480 And he was so grateful to Charlie and he was so grateful for him inspiring these, these youth to stand for, for, for freedom.

00:25:53.440 And of course, you know, we landed on Monday, my phone blew up and Pastor Son was in prison.

00:26:00.140 Charlie called me.

00:26:01.140 He said, get me all the information, uh, in regards to what he's being charged with.

00:26:06.420 Um, and, and where he's being detained, I got it all to him.

00:26:10.420 I got the videos and, uh, he said, we're going to, we're going to feature it on the, on my program.

00:26:16.520 And as you know, a bullet took our friend's life.

00:26:19.680 And I just committed to Charlie in my own heart.

00:26:23.600 I'm, I'm, I'm going to support Pastor Son.

00:26:25.520 So I'm leaving Thursday.

00:26:27.280 I'm flying over to take his pulpit, um, because he's in prison and I'm going to, I'm going to go there and just contend.

00:26:33.820 And, and I'm, I, I don't care what they do to me.

00:26:36.300 I, I, if the world doesn't wake up that when you start raiding churches and imprisoning pastors, uh, and, and you, you, South Korea thinks that we can lose, America will, will lose 36,224 us personnel to stop the Chinese from invading you and set that 38th parallel. 0.93

00:26:54.560 And you're going to do this.

00:26:56.320 You're going to infringe on religious Liberty. 0.67

00:26:58.380 No, no.

00:26:59.840 So I'm, I'm going over there.

00:27:01.160 Uh, well, I will tell you that, um, you know, build up Korea was the event that Charlie was attending and these people are amazing.

00:27:11.440 It's a, it's a little TP USA over in, in Korea and Mina Kim, Mina Kim, who I know, uh, you know, was in my office yesterday and I made the same commitment to her that Charlie made.

00:27:24.940 And then you just made, um, uh, and we're going to take care of her security.

00:27:30.460 We are going to watch over her.

00:27:32.200 We're also, I don't know how we're going to do this, but we need to raise a million dollars to just because they lost all sponsors.

00:27:38.880 Everybody just walked away because everybody is afraid of this new regime.

00:27:43.460 This new regime is, uh, really bad.

00:27:46.800 Uh, they've opened up the borders and all these Chinese illegals are coming into Korea. 1.00

00:27:51.280 They're just destroying Korea and turning it over to the Chinese. 1.00

00:27:54.800 Uh, and it's becoming very, very anti-American, not the people of South Korea, um, but the, the government of South Korea and they are attacking the churches because that's what communists do.

00:28:07.280 They have to destroy the church.

00:28:10.400 Um, and you know, uh, there's another story today in Europe that you, you, there are places now in Europe, you can't get to Bible gateway.

00:28:18.620 You can't read the Bible online.

00:28:21.540 It's hate speech.

00:28:23.220 And they are, they are closing down, uh, scriptures in, in Europe of all places.

00:28:30.560 This is sweeping the world.

00:28:33.440 It is.

00:28:33.860 And it is.

00:28:34.520 And as I was talking to Mina, I, you know, cause I didn't, I wasn't paying attention to what was happening in, in South Korea.

00:28:41.300 And I thought they're surrounding us.

00:28:44.000 It's a noose.

00:28:44.960 They are surrounding us.

00:28:46.120 And if America doesn't wake up, if the churches don't wake up, cause that's the only answer.

00:28:51.640 The only answer is God at this point, that's it.

00:28:54.000 Um, and if the churches don't wake up and start remembering their responsibility and, and people don't start remembering who we actually are as Americans, it, the whole world plunges into darkness.

00:29:08.660 Absolutely right.

00:29:10.560 You know, uh, Jonathan Mayhew, uh, Eastern seaboard minister during the war of independence, when they were all bagging on him saying, you know, you need to submit to King George because Romans 13 says, submit to all positions of authority.

00:29:23.940 They're appointed by God.

00:29:24.980 And he pointed out, he said, yeah, but they're there for our good.

00:29:28.800 The scripture says, and when they cease to do good, they cease to be the authority.

00:29:33.040 And he coined the phrase that inspired the war of independence.

00:29:36.220 He said, disobedience to tyrants is obedience to God.

00:29:40.180 And we just watched America restore probably another 50 years of Liberty because of Charlie Kirk's efforts, inspiring pastors and awakening them.

00:29:49.240 And then when they were telling us the church was non-essential in California, Charlie stood by me when I defied the governor and, and it, and when you saw that memorial service on Sunday, I, now I'm the, I'm the first guy who came out and I was asked to present the gospel and give a call to Christ.

00:30:06.100 But, and I'm a minister by trade, Glenn, but now I need to run for office because all the politicians were there were preaching the gospel.

00:30:13.480 That's a direct influence of Charlie.

00:30:15.160 When the church stands, good government happens with good people.

00:30:19.240 And there's the, the largest Christian population in Asia is in Korea.

00:30:22.920 And they have been influenced by these mealy mouth ministers in America to just be compliant.

00:30:30.160 And now they need to stand or they're going to lose everything.

00:30:33.120 And that's Mina Kim in a patriarchal society. 1.00

00:30:36.840 This young woman stands, I call her Seabiscuit. 1.00

00:30:39.300 She's tiny, but she's mighty. 0.94

00:30:40.800 Oh yeah.

00:30:41.300 And, and, and she's standing and inspiring an entire generation.

00:30:45.380 This was my third event.

00:30:46.500 But I'm the one who brought it to Charlie.

00:30:48.440 Like this girl's getting it done.

00:30:50.900 And, and she, she works so hard.

00:30:53.580 And every, like you said, this is the last thing, but every single one of, of her, of, of the sponsors of these companies.

00:31:00.940 Everyone.

00:31:01.520 Were, were threatened.

00:31:02.640 And they, they, and churches too, they bailed on her and they left her hanging in the wind.

00:31:07.180 Well, bless you, Glenn, for doing that.

00:31:09.240 I've been calling everybody I know to raise some money for as well.

00:31:11.980 And you're amazing.

00:31:14.040 Well, um, if you care to give to this cause, I mean, she's on the hook for a million dollars.

00:31:19.700 Um, because they pulled this thing off and then no one wrote the checks.

00:31:24.040 Uh, and it's a very big deal.

00:31:27.060 And she looked, she sat, she sat in my office and she said, I'm going back next week and I'm probably going to be arrested.

00:31:33.320 And I said, can we get you amnesty?

00:31:36.240 Is there anything we can do?

00:31:37.540 You know, let me call Washington and see if we, she's like, I can't, my family is there.

00:31:42.540 They'll be persecuted.

00:31:44.040 And she said, and it's my country and I've, I've got to stand.

00:31:47.340 So I'm going back.

00:31:48.440 Uh, and I'm, I'm, you know, I have been looking for people of courage, uh, for a long time, real courage.

00:31:57.280 And Charlie was the biggest and best example.

00:32:01.880 And they're starting to come out of the woodwork.

00:32:05.000 Now people, they have no idea what they started.

00:32:07.920 I mean, I've, I've never understood a darkness doesn't understand the light more than I do right now.

00:32:13.260 It just has no idea what it's doing.

00:32:15.640 Yeah.

00:32:16.460 Well, you know, uh, we, we found out today, or at least I was reading yesterday that they've, you, YouTube is reinstated conservative accounts that they blocked.

00:32:24.980 They just blocked Mina's account. 0.91

00:32:26.460 They shut her down in Korea.

00:32:28.100 They took out her YouTube and they, they're trying to remove any ability for her to communicate with the masses.

00:32:33.520 And for anyone who's going to donate thinking you're wasting a million dollars, let me just tell you what your money went to.

00:32:39.280 First of all, you're going to keep a warrior alive.

00:32:42.720 That's going to continue this fight.

00:32:44.300 Who's fearless.

00:32:45.320 And secondly, the money that was already spent inspired at least 5,000 Korean young people.

00:32:52.740 Those are the ones you saw on the news chanting.

00:32:55.460 I am Charlie Kirk.

00:32:57.560 They're ready to go all in.

00:32:59.280 And if you're a believer, you have no idea.

00:33:02.840 Hang on just a second.

00:33:04.140 America, you have no idea.

00:33:07.260 You, you thought that was a nice gesture and it was, it was so heartening to see that, but you have no idea what those people risked.

00:33:16.280 And yeah, yeah, that's exactly it.

00:33:18.900 I mean, it was one of them is targeted.

00:33:20.640 It's amazing.

00:33:21.520 They are risking going to jail, their family being persecuted just for standing with a candle saying, I am Charlie Kirk.

00:33:29.160 It's, it's incredible what's happening.

00:33:31.620 And I would say to anyone who has influence over the administration and we're trying to get up the food chain, Charlie would have an easier job of this.

00:33:39.740 I'm trying, but I would say president.

00:33:41.680 I will help you.

00:33:42.560 You tell me, you tell me what you need.

00:33:44.300 I will help you all that I can.

00:33:45.680 Well, I, I, you know, I would just say president Trump, he gave Korea 15% tariffs.

00:33:50.740 You know, if they're going to be raiding churches and they're going to be imprisoning pastors and threatening the equivalent of turning point in Korea, I think 15% is way too low.

00:34:02.620 Let's make them feel the pain.

00:34:04.360 And, and, you know, we, we, we're not going to dictate their government, but we can dictate how they're going to do business with us.

00:34:09.640 Make it hurt.

00:34:10.860 So that's my thought.

00:34:12.340 Uh, pastor, um, can I call you next week when you're there and can we?

00:34:18.760 Yes, yes.

00:34:19.600 And yes, again.

00:34:20.480 Okay.

00:34:21.100 Thank you so much for everything.

00:34:22.200 We're in this together, Glenn.

00:34:23.680 You bless me more than you know.

00:34:25.140 Thanks, brother.

00:34:25.680 Thanks, Rob.

00:34:26.180 Bye-bye.

00:34:26.640 Appreciate it.

00:34:27.000 Okay.

00:34:27.180 Bye.

00:34:27.660 That's Charlie Kirk's pastor who you saw call for an altar call, uh, on Sunday, which was amazing.

00:34:35.060 His, his sermon was amazing.

00:34:38.200 If you want to help, please go to mercury one.org.

00:34:42.820 I don't even know if they have a fund.

00:34:44.200 Just put it in the general fund.

00:34:46.380 Um, and, uh, you know, you can market Charlie Kirk, uh, or I'm sorry, South Korea.

00:34:52.360 Um, but, uh, she needs a million dollars and, and, and really bad. 1.00

00:34:56.600 I mean, they're going to go after her for not having the money to pay everybody.

00:35:00.700 They're going to go after they, they, it's out of control.

00:35:03.940 This is an ally of ours completely out of control because they've got now a Marxist government.

00:35:11.200 They have a government like Joe Biden, uh, like all of Europe.

00:35:15.680 They have these people who are just destroying it and they are choosing.

00:35:19.260 The government is choosing China over America.

00:35:21.920 The people don't want China. 0.94

00:35:25.060 Uh, and the only thing that will save this are the churches.

00:35:28.520 Please, if you can, um, please help them.

00:35:32.200 Please help them go to mercury one.org in honor of Charlie Kirk.

00:35:37.180 We'll pick up his promise.

00:35:39.320 Mercury one.org.

00:35:40.880 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:35:46.200 There was a shooting this morning.

00:35:48.340 Uh, bad one at the Dallas, uh, ice field office.

00:35:52.320 Details are still emerging.

00:35:55.260 Uh, the shooter self-inflicted gunshot wound.

00:35:59.180 We don't know the motive yet.

00:36:01.040 Um, uh, but we do know there are multiple injuries and fatalities.

00:36:07.340 Uh, that's at least what secretary Christy Noem has said.

00:36:11.600 We have chip Roy on the phone now candidate for Texas attorney general.

00:36:16.040 Um, this is in his state where it happened.

00:36:18.520 Uh, and I'm sure has more information on this chip.

00:36:21.560 Welcome to the program.

00:36:23.660 Uh, Glenn, good to be on.

00:36:25.060 Obviously prayers for all those affected, uh, particularly the law enforcement community and what they're dealing with.

00:36:29.420 As we get the facts.

00:36:30.880 Can you tell me there, the, the left is coming out now.

00:36:34.860 And it's interesting to me that CNN and MSNBC are sticking with this story and Fox news is not, um, it might just be a judgment call, but it also may be.

00:36:46.720 It may be that this was a right wing kind of guy because it was, is it true that the, uh, the ones that were killed were not ice, but illegals.

00:36:57.520 So right now I'm getting Intel, uh, as fast as I can, as you are, um, I've gotten some insight in broad terms that it appears to have been the detainees who were killed or wounded, but we don't know for sure yet.

00:37:13.920 I want to be very clear that we don't know.

00:37:17.140 So there could be varying motives, right?

00:37:20.420 It doesn't, it could be left wing.

00:37:21.780 It could be right wing.

00:37:22.800 It could just be gang violence.

00:37:24.440 It could be cartel violence.

00:37:25.880 We have no idea.

00:37:27.200 What we do know is that there continues to be a disrespect for law enforcement and a disrespect for the rule of law, because no matter what's going on here, if it's a gang, if it's a cartel, if it's a right wing lunatic or left wing lunatic, you've got a disrespect of ice such that they felt that they could go in and shoot up an ice facility. 0.83

00:37:47.780 And that is the product of a lawless Biden administration who didn't give a crap about law enforcement, who crapped all over ice, who crapped all over border patrol, who wanted to defund the police across the country, who wanted to stand with criminals over law enforcement, who leave our borders wide open and fricking George Soros leftists who put dangerous criminals on our streets. 0.77

00:38:07.640 So I don't want to hear any of the backtracking bullcrap out of MSNBC and these radical leftists who want to endanger us and then dare to try to lecture me on whatever the motives may or may not be of these individuals. 0.95

00:38:20.540 I don't, you know, I really, Chip, I really don't care what the motive was.

00:38:24.960 I don't, I'm sick of the, I don't care what your motive was.

00:38:29.140 You are, you are breaking down our civilization and our society.

00:38:34.440 This violence must stop.

00:38:37.640 Uh, so in saying that, and I know you feel exactly the same way we, if this continues to grow at this existential rate that it has been, um, we are, we're going to have to make moves.

00:38:53.120 And that is going to play into the hands of those who say, see, this is an authoritarian, what can we possibly do to get this kind of violence under control without violating civil rights?

00:39:08.360 Well, you have to respect the rule of law, Glenn.

00:39:11.460 This is not complicated.

00:39:13.320 You stand up in defense of the rule of law.

00:39:15.720 You don't put criminals on your street.

00:39:17.840 You don't let George Soros funded, Wren collective, left-wing radicals say that we should have cashless bail and let criminals on our street and don't prosecute them.

00:39:26.440 You put people behind bars who should be.

00:39:28.780 You don't have your borders be wide open.

00:39:30.800 You prosecute people and you call out criminals when they are violating the law and whether you're a left-wing kook, when you're one of these radicalized transgender folks, whether you're a right-wing kook. 0.86

00:39:43.400 I don't care. 1.00

00:39:44.440 You're violating the damn law. 0.99

00:39:46.200 I hate concepts of hate speech and all these motives and what were you thinking. 1.00

00:39:50.920 It's all bogus.

00:39:51.860 But one thing that matters, and this is what I want to be clear about, when you create a climate and a culture that disrespects the rule of law, that disrespects sovereignty, that undermines Western civilization,

00:40:06.140 if you are undermining the fact that it is our collective faith in the Lord Almighty and the biblical underpinnings of what built this country from the Declaration of the Constitution all the way through our laws,

00:40:17.060 then you are undermining our safety and security.

00:40:20.880 And that's this real story behind the radical left.

00:40:24.260 I don't know who this shooter was.

00:40:26.160 Again, left-wing, right-wing, I don't care.

00:40:28.380 I don't care, Gwenn.

00:40:29.360 I'm with you.

00:40:29.820 I do care that the Marxists are undermining our way of life, breaking down Western civilization, moving us away from God, importing radicals, putting criminals on the streets.

00:40:41.900 That's what we need to be at war against.

00:40:44.100 We need to reclaim the rightful birthright for our kids and grandkids of a safe and secure America that believes in the rule of law, backs up law enforcement.

00:40:53.860 And, yes, you protect civil liberties. 0.93

00:40:55.780 Damn right you protect civil liberties. 0.95

00:40:57.140 But you don't have a civil liberty to go shoot up ICE or to go run drugs or to move Fendal or to be gang members. 0.98

00:41:04.460 You don't have a civil right to do that.

00:41:06.540 So, you know, with Antifa now, and I don't know, I think it has to be funded yet, doesn't it?

00:41:12.780 I mean, the president signed an executive order, but what are we going to do with the Antifa stuff?

00:41:18.300 What's happening there?

00:41:19.100 And then also the George Soros.

00:41:21.640 I mean, you start going after their money, and it's going to get much worse before it gets better.

00:41:26.120 And I'm willing to do that, but it is going to get much worse.

00:41:30.280 How do we?

00:41:31.080 We have no choice.

00:41:33.280 Glenn, I mean, when you go back and look with credit where credit is due, what Jack Kennedy and Bobby Kennedy and the people that were trying to break apart the mob, if you were one of the individuals willing to take on violent cartels.

00:41:45.360 Look, when I was in the U.S. attorney's office, you had to know that if you were taking on the cartels, if you were taking on violent gang members, you were putting yourself in jeopardy because you knew you were going to the heart of the problem.

00:41:56.980 And we've got to recognize that the radical leftists, the Antifa, the organized crime – and by the way, I'm against all organized crime, whatever their political motives are, whatever the profit motives are – but you've got to recognize it when you see it.

00:42:12.060 And Antifa and Southern Poverty Law Center and all of these organizations, they're a part of a radicalized network that want to undermine what you and I just talked about.

00:42:21.600 So when the president declares Antifa a terrorist organization, he is correct to do so because they are radicalized and undermining freedom, undermining the rule of law.

00:42:31.140 Go take them out and follow the money.

00:42:33.060 Go follow the money to Soros.

00:42:34.740 Go follow the money to the Wren Collective.

00:42:36.660 Go follow the money to SPLC and Antifa.

00:42:38.900 Go follow the money to all of the groups, to 250 organizations that the Center for Immigration Studies outlined that were funneling illegal aliens into our country.

00:42:48.220 Knowing many of them were affiliated with Trendy and Agua and other gang members that were undermining our security.

00:42:54.680 Follow the money and destroy them.

00:42:57.400 When do we start that?

00:42:58.980 When do we start that?

00:43:00.040 Now.

00:43:01.120 Now.

00:43:01.820 Yesterday.

00:43:02.640 Last week.

00:43:03.520 Last year.

00:43:04.260 No, I know that's what I feel, what you feel.

00:43:07.100 I'm asking you, when will it happen?

00:43:10.440 When will we see this?

00:43:11.620 Well, I believe that the Trump administration, by declaring Antifa a terrorist organization, Kash Patel and Panbondi, they now know what their directive is.

00:43:20.340 They need to go do it. 0.98

00:43:21.700 But Congress needs to get off the damn mark. 1.00

00:43:24.240 The reason I sent a letter calling for a special select committee, identifying the radical left networks and tying them out and exposing them, is because the American people need to know it. 0.98

00:43:34.160 And I want to see leadership.

00:43:36.000 We have 40 members of Congress who have now signed my letter.

00:43:39.380 I want to hear what the speaker, I want to hear what the leaders of the House want to do to go combat this stuff.

00:43:44.440 And I want to be very clear, because there's going to be some listeners out there, some leftists who are going to say, Chip Roy was attacking the left.

00:43:51.080 And this shooter ends up being whoever he is or she is.

00:43:54.340 I don't care, Glenn.

00:43:56.180 That's not my point.

00:43:57.320 My point is we're living in a lawless society because of the left, and I want to stop that.

00:44:04.720 And so should every Republican who's worth their grain of salt.

00:44:08.320 And so should, honestly, every Democrat that is still an American.

00:44:12.260 The Jimmy Kimmel thing.

00:44:14.340 Did we cross any lines constitutionally, or are we close to any constitutional lines with this Jimmy Kimmel thing?

00:44:23.020 Anything that makes you uncomfortable with this?

00:44:25.160 So here's the thing that I want to make sure people understand.

00:44:30.800 When Brennan Carr, who's an FCC commissioner, for those who don't know, who, by the way, I know, in full disclosure, is a friend.

00:44:37.940 Yeah, I know him, and I really like him.

00:44:40.220 He's a friend of mine, too.

00:44:41.300 He's a great guy.

00:44:42.640 Great man.

00:44:43.140 And, by the way, so are some of my friends are people who have called him out.

00:44:47.180 My great friend, Senator Cruz, has done so, and some others.

00:44:51.060 Here's the thing.

00:44:51.820 We are always correct to want to say, wait a second, what power of government is being used and how is it being used?

00:44:58.460 That is always a good instinct.

00:45:00.600 It is also a good instinct to say that the radical left doesn't get to have a unilateral ability to leverage all of the power of government to go after us.

00:45:12.020 And then the right say, wait a second, you have a guy who went on a massive corporate network funded ABC Disney show and then is then going out on all of these affiliate broadcasters like, you know, Sinclair and Nexar, all these organizations that have to make decisions from a business perspective and not have the FCC commissioner be able to raise the question and the prospect.

00:45:37.480 You know what? If you say crazy crap, those broadcasters may decide they don't want to put your crazy crap on the air. 0.99

00:45:45.560 And that has an impact, by the way, in the broadcasting world, when you're talking about licenses, you know it better than anybody. 0.99

00:45:52.200 You can teach me all the ins and outs, but you can't say anything you want over the air.

00:45:58.260 You literally can't.

00:45:59.700 Now, do we want the government policing political speech? 0.96

00:46:04.080 No.

00:46:04.480 Do we want the government going in and telling us what we can say or can't say unless it's something patently obvious like pornography or, say, you know, an F-bomb on the airwaves?

00:46:15.200 Generally not.

00:46:16.120 But it is reasonable for the FCC commissioner to say what he basically said, which is when he said you can do this the easy way or the hard way, either back off Disney and don't countenance that ridiculousness of saying there was a mega shooter and putting out false information. 0.96

00:46:31.000 Or you're going to deal with the fact that you're going to have licenses, meaning the broadcasters who are going to say, we don't want to broadcast your crap. 0.96

00:46:40.660 That's the way I interpreted it. 0.96

00:46:42.560 So, look, that's now a business decision.

00:46:45.260 And you've got Sinclair who's saying no.

00:46:47.500 And Jimmy went on air last night and he tried to be this kinder and gentler and softer Jimmy.

00:46:52.200 But you know what? 1.00

00:46:53.220 You play stupid games, you win stupid prizes. 1.00

00:46:55.480 And he played a stupid game trying to make this into something it wasn't by declaring the shooter MAGA. 1.00

00:47:02.200 And then that kind of stuff needs to be called out. 1.00

00:47:05.080 Does that make sense?

00:47:06.240 Yeah.

00:47:06.520 I liked what Brandon Carr said about, and you kind of touched on this, that we're not trying to censor.

00:47:12.440 We're trying to give local control back.

00:47:14.600 Right now, all of the decisions are made in New York or Los Angeles for these networks.

00:47:19.540 And they don't care about these local facilities, local stations, that most of them are small cities.

00:47:26.080 Almost everything in Sinclair is in a small city.

00:47:29.100 There's a few big ones, but not a lot.

00:47:31.680 And, you know, they have a right to say this does not appeal to us.

00:47:36.120 In fact, it's an assault to our community standards.

00:47:40.040 And what he said was, we have to get back to community standards.

00:47:43.260 And these local stations should be allowed to hold up their community standards because that's the way they get a license renewed, is they're upholding community standards.

00:47:57.040 But I, you know, I want less regulation, not more regulation.

00:48:01.720 I certainly don't want to police freedom of speech.

00:48:04.680 Yeah, you and I are aligned.

00:48:05.740 And I think Brendan said that well.

00:48:07.840 And he's an FCC commissioner for a reason.

00:48:09.800 He said it better than I did.

00:48:11.340 You need to ensure that local control is what is governing. 0.92

00:48:15.820 But I just wanted to be clear here that it is important to call out this ridiculous speech.

00:48:23.000 And the FCC commissioner can. 0.83

00:48:25.240 You don't have to police it.

00:48:27.200 Brendan didn't take an action.

00:48:28.980 He called it out.

00:48:30.700 Had he taken action, we could then decide and we could judge whether the action was appropriate or not.

00:48:37.480 Right.

00:48:37.940 He pulled a license or something.

00:48:39.800 He simply called it out and said, you should be aware that there could be consequences to this kind of language.

00:48:47.120 And that's actually important for people to hear, in my view.

00:48:52.280 Chip, our thoughts are with you.

00:48:54.140 I hope you are our next attorney general here in the great state of Texas, because as things get tougher, we really need a good attorney general.

00:49:04.440 Well, Glenn, I appreciate that.

00:49:07.340 I'm doing it for a reason.

00:49:09.040 My kids are 16 and 14.

00:49:11.120 I want them to grow up in a safe, secure and free America.

00:49:14.660 And it's going to take the smartest people we have in this generation who are willing to stand up and fight and defend not just America, but Texas.

00:49:22.520 As Texas go, so goes America.

00:49:25.140 Every Texan, we should view through the lens of if we were the Republic of Texas, what would we do?

00:49:31.580 Do that.

00:49:32.500 We shouldn't stand back and wait for Joe Biden or some future leftist to leave our borders open or allow George Soros to put criminals on our streets or allow Epic City and Sharia law to march through the streets of Texas.

00:49:44.960 Enough.

00:49:45.880 And that's why I'm running for attorney general, and I appreciate it.

00:49:48.260 Thanks, Chip.

00:49:48.740 I appreciate it.

00:49:49.700 I'll tell you, we just bought a house in Florida, and my wife said, I said, we're going to put an American flag up.

00:49:56.120 And she said, I want a Texas flag up.

00:49:58.600 And I said, honey, it's Florida.

00:49:59.680 I don't think they'll take kindly to that.

00:50:01.520 And she's like, I don't know.

00:50:02.440 I just, she said, I love Florida.

00:50:04.400 I love what DeSantis has done for Florida, she said.

00:50:07.140 But there is just this attitude in Texas of just don't, don't screw with us.

00:50:11.580 And that has faded somewhat, but it goes back to what he was just saying.

00:50:16.240 We're a republic.

00:50:17.300 We are the only state in the union that used to be a country.

00:50:22.480 We were the republic of Texas.

00:50:25.600 And so they've always had this attitude of, yeah, yeah, well, we'll leave you any time.

00:50:30.760 I mean, we're our own country.

00:50:33.460 And it's actually very refreshing because it leads to that kind of attitude.

00:50:39.100 We're not in a suicide pact with you, okay? 0.90

00:50:42.400 You want to commit suicide? 0.94

00:50:43.720 That's fine.

00:50:44.120 But we're not doing it because, what, we signed a paper 150 years ago?

00:50:47.860 No.

00:50:48.320 You're committing suicide. 0.69

00:50:49.520 We're not doing it with you.

00:50:51.080 More states need to think that way. 0.98

00:50:52.660 Na, na, na, na.
