The Glenn Beck Program - Best of the Program ｜ Guests： Rep. Thomas Massie & Carol Roth ｜ 12⧸14⧸23

00:00:00.000 You know, we ran out of time. We were talking about the Supreme Court and Jack Smith, and I made this statement today.

00:00:07.800 There is no way John Roberts is going to say, no, we're going to decide that Donald Trump can't go through a trial because that'll make the Supreme Court, you know, also very popular. 0.98

00:00:21.780 All that John Roberts cares about is his stupid image and protecting the image of the Supreme Court. 0.96

00:00:28.920 No, you protect the image of the Supreme Court by actually doing what you say you're supposed to do, protecting and defending the laws and the Constitution of the United States. 0.99

00:00:40.680 Now, I don't know where it's supposed to fall, but trying to get John Roberts to throw out a case that half the country will be crazy for if they throw it out and the other half will be crazy if they decide wrong in the regular court.

00:01:02.520 There's no way he's going to do that.

00:01:05.040 If you come to the Supreme Court after he's charged, maybe after he's been found guilty or innocent, whatever, maybe there's a chance.

00:01:14.860 But not before, because he'll say, let the process play itself out.

00:01:19.080 We don't need to get involved in this.

00:01:20.780 He shouldn't have taken the case.

00:01:22.140 By taking the case, I think they're signaling, it's okay.

00:01:27.120 Donald Trump, we're not on his side.

00:01:29.920 Yeah, no, I think you're probably right.

00:01:31.460 And that's probably how it's going to play out over the next, and look, this is, I, John, the Roberts Court does not want to get in the middle of this stuff.

00:01:39.640 And they don't want to be the focus of the attention, you know, and even if it means, you know, really important things.

00:01:47.920 Rewriting the law for Obamacare.

00:01:49.480 For Obamacare, right, like massive things that are changing our society, even that they won't get in the way to stop.

00:01:54.580 So I think you're right, unfortunately.

00:01:56.980 I don't think this is going to be a successful series of arguments by Trump.

00:02:01.900 I don't think this is going to, if he's going to get off and win this case, it's not going to be because of these reasons.

00:02:06.420 Well, we have a lot on today's podcast that you just don't want to miss.

00:02:11.760 First of all, we start with some really powerfully good news.

00:02:16.000 There's a couple of places in today's show that it is extended happiness.

00:02:20.680 It's almost weird.

00:02:23.380 It might be like the fifth horseman of the apocalypse, Happy Harry.

00:02:28.900 He's like, hey, everything is fine.

00:02:31.600 But that horse was coming through with heavy, heavy hooves today.

00:02:36.420 But we corrected the course real quickly by talking to Thomas Massey, who just got off the floor after the House voted with the Republican support to reauthorize FISA.

00:02:51.280 It's insane.

00:02:53.100 It's a crazy conversation that you don't want to miss.

00:02:56.100 All of that and more on today's podcast.

00:02:58.920 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:03:13.780 All right.

00:03:14.840 Hello, Stu.

00:03:16.340 Hey, Glenn.

00:03:16.820 How are you?

00:03:17.400 Well, I am really, really good.

00:03:18.980 I want to I want to just kind of give a year end review.

00:03:23.220 Tomorrow is our last show of the season.

00:03:26.520 We come back with, you know, everything and starting fresh for 2024.

00:03:32.580 But I just am so overwhelmed and honored to.

00:03:40.260 Be anywhere near this audience.

00:03:42.500 This, I believe, and I've said this for a very long time, two things.

00:03:48.540 I felt that this audience is going to be the audience that somehow or another is the turning point in whatever it is we're facing, that this audience some way, somehow saves the Republic.

00:04:00.660 I don't even know how that even happens, but I just have always been, I just, I feel that so strongly.

00:04:11.380 You've always believed that for as long as I can remember.

00:04:14.220 Yeah.

00:04:14.620 And most of that time I was like, yeah, you know, they're okay.

00:04:17.440 The audience, they're all right.

00:04:18.880 They're fine.

00:04:19.880 They're good.

00:04:20.320 But I think recently I've been won over to this viewpoint as well.

00:04:23.300 It's amazing.

00:04:24.240 They really are.

00:04:25.240 You guys are awesome.

00:04:26.200 Yeah, it is.

00:04:26.880 It's an amazing group that you happen to be a part of.

00:04:30.660 And so last night I was talking to a 20-something because I'm preparing something for TPUSA.

00:04:37.740 And they're having a big conference this Saturday, you know, this weekend.

00:04:42.800 And Saturday night I'm doing the closing remarks for the day.

00:04:47.960 And, you know, I was really wondering what do I have of value.

00:04:53.580 And so I was talking to a 20-something and I said, you know, what is it that you think people of your age need to hear?

00:05:00.660 And we went over some things and she ended with, you know, the biggest thing is a call to action.

00:05:08.620 She said, we're always told that we can make the difference, that how important we are and that you got to go out and, but what specifically?

00:05:16.300 So I was thinking about that and then I got the year-end reports in from Mercury One and the Nazarene Fund.

00:05:24.980 And I just want to tell you, you might think that you haven't done anything this year, but just this audience, this year, listen to this.

00:05:36.980 In Afghanistan, currently, the Nazarene Fund is supporting roughly 125 people monthly inside of Afghanistan.

00:05:44.920 These are people that are hidden away and nobody knows about them.

00:05:49.020 Monthly sustainment includes food and life-sustaining supplies.

00:05:52.620 Most of the recipients are widows with children and Christians in hiding.

00:05:58.660 Evacuations from Afghanistan have decreased significantly, but we are evacuating the high-risk individuals from Afghanistan as needed.

00:06:08.440 Currently in Pakistan, we have eight safe houses with at-risk Afghans waiting for final resettlement.

00:06:16.400 We have 12 families, 42 people in our care just in Pakistan waiting for a country to open up.

00:06:22.500 One of the greatest challenges for pathways for the Afghan situation is the countries.

00:06:28.320 Nobody wants to take these guys anymore.

00:06:30.720 So we are still trying to establish the pathways for resettlement.

00:06:34.820 It is a full-time job in, well, I can't give you the numbers, but we are working with Brazil, Mexico, Germany, Turkey.

00:06:46.240 Total completed TNF cases with successful locations to date, 22,000 people we have relocated around the world.

00:06:57.940 In Armenia, the hostilities inside Armenia began in September.

00:07:04.260 In Azerbaijan, over 100,000 Armenians have fled.

00:07:09.320 We are really having a hard time with a mass exodus.

00:07:13.060 However, we are on the ground assisting Christian families as they flee their homes, looking for safe passage.

00:07:20.440 We have 127 individuals that we have gotten out and gotten to safety.

00:07:27.940 In Egypt, we have 32 Coptic Christian widows that are in need that we're sheltering.

00:07:35.260 Iraq and Syria, this is where we started, and this is an amazing story.

00:07:43.060 We're continuing to be on the ground there.

00:07:45.620 There is one big prison camp, and all of these Yazidis that have been taken as slaves, all these women, we know they're in this camp of about 10,000.

00:07:59.320 And we have people that are working on finding them, okay?

00:08:08.100 We have taken, just this last year, 172 souls out to Australia, 18 to Canada.

00:08:18.320 It is the Yazidi women from, it's the camp is called Al-Hol. 0.91

00:08:27.300 It's in Syria.

00:08:28.420 We're reuniting these women with their family members in Iraq, rescuing survivors from human trafficking in Iraq.

00:08:37.300 We're rescuing families fleeing a religious persecution for their Christian faith in Syria.

00:08:42.720 We have safe houses for at-risk Yazidi women and their children of war, children of war, children fathered by ISIS fighters.

00:08:53.000 We are providing protection for former ISIS captives who are witnesses against ISIS for crimes against humanity proceedings.

00:09:00.700 In Israel, after the October 7th attack, the Nazarene Fund responded with assistance to our partners in Israel.

00:09:09.140 One chartered flight from Tel Aviv to Nashville for U.S. citizens and Israelis who were survivors of the October 7th attack.

00:09:16.440 We partnered with M1 to provide funding for the relocation to the U.S. of six Israeli families who were survivors of the attack.

00:09:25.800 Who even knew we were in Nigeria?

00:09:30.180 Operation Lego launched in Nigeria on April 30th.

00:09:35.940 Our primary objective is to collect irrefutable evidence along with actionable intelligence and target any and all individuals' rings involved with the illicit trade of organ harvesting, human trafficking, child abduction and exploitation, baby factories, and ritual killings. 0.99

00:09:56.400 Some of the operations that we have conducted just in this year, we have arrested six human traffickers, and these guys are the scum of the scum. 0.83

00:10:07.460 The rescue and aftercare of 32 children are now in our care this year. 0.99

00:10:11.960 The rescue of 15 pregnant women who are being used as a baby factory. 0.58

00:10:17.440 They actually have a black market baby factory.

00:10:22.060 They come and they kidnap these women.

00:10:24.160 They impregnate them. 0.84

00:10:26.300 They take the baby, sell the baby parts on the black market.

00:10:34.220 Infant hearts are worth $250,000 on the black market.

00:10:39.140 So they take this child from the mother, kill it, harvest the organs, sell all the organs, then re-impregnate her and have her do another baby that they kill and harvest. 0.76

00:10:51.380 It is, it's unbelievable.

00:10:55.240 We have again rescued 15 of these pregnant women, the recovery of two siblings abducted by their maid to be sold into the Nigerian trafficking market.

00:11:06.580 We have found them and reunited them.

00:11:08.740 We have Operation Renaissance that is going on now in Asia.

00:11:14.660 It is a platform which has a range of tools to support a Christian minority community and other minority groups.

00:11:23.320 Operation Resistance was established under the guise of conventional research and community outreach project to shield it from exposure to security agencies in the lockdown states.

00:11:35.420 We had to shut it down at the end of third quarter this year.

00:11:40.520 But some of the operations, we assisted 1,590 Christian families with food, medicine and legal assistance to fight different types of persecution that they were facing.

00:11:51.740 We rescued a 15-year-old Christian girl who had been abducted and brutally tortured by her employers for several days.

00:11:59.940 Police, legal, financial support to and successful rescue of a 12-year-old Christian girl kidnapped, coerced to convert to Islam and forced to marry her 35-year-old Muslim abductee.

00:12:11.580 Police and legal support to a 14-year-old Christian minor raped repeatedly and filmed by one of her superiors at the factory where she worked rescue and relocation of a father and his three children who were victims of slave labor for over 10 years.

00:12:26.540 In Sierra Leone, Operation Silver was launched in Freetown, Sierra Leone, on September 1st of 2023.

00:12:36.560 Its primary objective is to collect irrefutable evidence along with actionable intelligence and target any and all individuals and rings involved with illicit trade for organ harvesting, human trafficking, child abduction and exploitation, baby factories and ritual killings.

00:12:52.960 It also pays particular focus to Christian persecution who have been singled out for abuse based on their faith.

00:13:00.580 A few of the operations just this year that you have made possible, I'm telling you all of these things, to let you know there's a lot of good in the world and you are responsible for it.

00:13:15.040 Recovery of two trafficked minors, 14 and 16-year-olds from the Republic of Guinea, rescue and repatriation of nine children trafficked in the Republic of Mali, recovery of a 10-year-old girl who's being trafficked in the Republic of Mali, recovery of a 14-year-old girl trafficked from her village.

00:13:32.580 In Sudan, we began this in April 2023, fighting between rival armed factions broke out in the capital city of Khartoum.

00:13:43.820 In June, we took 180 Kurdish workers with emergency evacuation and assisted them to get them on flights back to their home, food packages for 900, medication for 150, sleeping kits for 830.

00:13:57.840 We were in Turkey with a 7.8 magnitude earthquake, $200,000 of emergency funding, tents, food, medical care provided.

00:14:08.360 What makes us different is nobody is left in Afghanistan. 0.98

00:14:15.700 All these people that were marked for death and have been for a long time, nobody else is there.

00:14:21.040 We're the last there.

00:14:23.020 We're usually, we try to be the first or second in, but we are also the last one out.

00:14:29.220 And a good example of that is what's happening in Maui.

00:14:33.760 When we went to Maui and Lahaina, we flew the food and everything else out, and we found that they were so skeptical of any aid people because they said,

00:14:44.960 you guys just want your names on the TV, you just want your logos, here, stand with this and the logo, and then you beat it.

00:14:53.520 And my guy said, did you notice there's no logo anywhere?

00:14:57.180 We're not, that's not what we do.

00:14:58.740 We're here to help.

00:14:59.940 And we'll be the last one here.

00:15:03.040 Well, we will be in Lahaina for at least the next year, maybe two years, providing supplies.

00:15:11.780 We're helping build tiny homes.

00:15:15.640 They just found that arsenic is all over Lahaina, so these people are not going back to their homes anytime soon.

00:15:23.560 That all has to be cleaned up.

00:15:25.380 So we're helping them build tiny homes so they can stay in the area.

00:15:29.580 Plus, I don't have the number on how many people have killed themselves, but the suicide rate is through the roof.

00:15:38.180 So we are there providing PTSD care as well.

00:15:43.400 And these things, you know, Israel helped 440 Americans return to the United States, two flights.

00:15:53.540 We partnered with Corey Mills, partnered with the, I think it's the Shai Fund.

00:15:58.900 We have provided ambulances for the Israeli people that they needed.

00:16:09.620 I mean, you have done so many things.

00:16:14.340 On education, we have hosted Pro Family Legislators Network, giving over 200 legislators information, critical information that they need.

00:16:24.620 We are now, we just finished starting ticketing.

00:16:32.340 So now if you come to town, you can contact the American Journey Experience at M1 and you can get a private ticketed only tour because it's not open to the public.

00:16:43.960 It's open, you know, at certain hours and you have to be ticketed to go in.

00:16:48.360 We are now scanning our artifacts every day, 3D scanning, plus all of the books.

00:16:56.560 We have the third largest library of the American founding.

00:17:00.340 We have the largest collection of documents from Jamestown, also from the pilgrims in the world.

00:17:10.460 We're scanning all of those documents.

00:17:12.640 They can be translated into any language and they're all searchable.

00:17:17.220 We are putting them all on blockchain along with all of the artifacts that I buy.

00:17:22.420 We are 3D scanning them.

00:17:24.400 So eventually you'll be able to have that and be able to manipulate it and look at it, you know, through a virtual reality there at your own home.

00:17:36.120 And it's all going to be on blockchain and we are deep into that right now.

00:17:41.040 It's taken us longer than we wanted and we have a massive, massive program starting next year, hopefully, with your help to educate not only families, but also take seriously all of the students in high school and college that not only want to know the truth about America, but are willing to teach it and want to dedicate their self to history of America.

00:18:07.140 We have some really exciting things to announce.

00:18:10.380 That is just scratching the surface.

00:18:13.380 That's not how many babies we saved or anything else in this audience.

00:18:16.900 I just want you to know there's never been a commercial radio audience or I think a commercial television audience ever that has done anything like this.

00:18:27.540 Thank you.

00:18:30.500 It is an honor to be around you and to serve you.

00:18:35.560 Thank you.

00:18:37.100 It's been a very good year for a lot of people who will never know any of our names.

00:18:46.580 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:18:50.460 Welcome to the Glenn Beck program.

00:18:52.800 We're glad you're here.

00:18:53.680 Uh, I want to, I want to share something with you that has been making the rounds here, uh, at blaze TV.

00:19:04.820 Um, that was just one of the kindest calls we've received and we have great list.

00:19:12.160 Our customer service department loves this audience.

00:19:15.700 They're like, this is the greatest place to work because everybody's so nice.

00:19:19.180 Uh, even when they have problems, um, and, uh, but customer service, the head of customer service passed this on.

00:19:25.960 I want you to listen to this phone call that came in a couple of nights ago.

00:19:28.640 Thank you for contacting blaze media.

00:19:30.060 This is Chris.

00:19:30.660 How can I help you?

00:19:32.840 Hi, Chris.

00:19:34.540 Um, my name is Kathleen Brock.

00:19:40.180 I'm 56 and I'm sorry.

00:19:46.000 I talk funny, but I had a small stroke four or five.

00:19:51.400 It's been five months ago.

00:19:53.960 So now I talk in cursive.

00:19:58.400 Hey, I think you're doing great.

00:20:00.080 I don't think I'm disabled and single.

00:20:04.380 Old woman has been left me when I was diagnosed with autoimmune and also through Garrett Rick's disease.

00:20:22.560 And I've been watching blaze TV 24-7 for two years.

00:20:36.780 I love Glenn and Stu and Pat Kevin, Sarah, and that comic who swears a lot.

00:20:49.240 I just want to call and say thank you because blaze TV has given me lots of strength to carry on.

00:21:08.840 And I think Glenn needs to know that he touches people, that he touches everybody.

00:21:27.000 Everybody touches everybody.

00:21:29.440 And I just wanted to say thank you for giving me the strength.

00:21:38.000 And blaze TV gave me strength, lots of strength to be a strong mom and grandma.

00:21:52.080 That's all I want to say.

00:21:54.060 I just thought this was just the sweetest thing.

00:22:00.120 And everybody in the call center was overwhelmed.

00:22:04.380 And I just want to get Kathleen on the phone real quick just to say hi back.

00:22:08.880 Hi, Kathleen.

00:22:11.480 Hi.

00:22:12.260 Are you there?

00:22:13.780 I'm here.

00:22:15.800 How are you, Kathleen?

00:22:17.200 I do, and good.

00:22:22.960 I'm doing very good because of Jesus carrying me.

00:22:27.740 And so I have a little bit of stubborn streak, but I wake up every morning so I can watch that grave.

00:22:40.160 Yeah, that's a mistake.

00:22:42.380 And everything.

00:22:43.020 I love everybody there.

00:22:50.160 And that's how I do all day.

00:22:53.600 Kathleen, I'm sorry to hear about the stroke and Lou Gehrig's disease.

00:23:00.720 That has got to be quite a burden to carry.

00:23:03.640 How long have you known that you had Lou Gehrig's disease?

00:23:05.860 It's been off and on because doctors took them a few years to figure it out, but now it's been made very clear almost two years ago.

00:23:20.500 And it's speeding up because it's from this world.

00:23:27.640 And I think that I'm okay about going home with Jesus soon.

00:23:32.380 So I'm still happy.

00:23:34.920 Just kind of a struggle sometimes.

00:23:37.640 You have three kids, two grandchildren?

00:23:43.100 I have three kids, adult kids, live in California.

00:23:48.220 And my youngest is in Spokane, Washington.

00:23:53.800 He's 23.

00:23:55.440 And I have five grandbabies.

00:23:58.260 They're all in California.

00:23:59.960 And that's been the hardest part of being ill is I can't be around and know my grandbabies before I go home.

00:24:08.500 Where do you live, Kathleen?

00:24:12.920 I live in Sand Point, Idaho.

00:24:16.640 Oh, it's a great place.

00:24:19.240 Yes, it's very cold this morning.

00:24:22.680 Do you ever get to go out and be with them?

00:24:26.220 Can you travel?

00:24:26.960 Since the little stroke from kind of overdoing it this summer, I don't get behind the wheel no more because it's not safe.

00:24:42.660 So my son in Spokane sometimes tries to make it see me because he's busy in his career.

00:24:52.520 But I haven't seen any of my other friends.

00:24:56.960 Kids in California in almost four and a half years.

00:25:00.500 Oh, my gosh.

00:25:01.840 Oh, my gosh.

00:25:03.520 Because COVID really did lots of things and things just hard down here.

00:25:13.240 Satan is running amok.

00:25:17.040 Kathleen, I just want you to know that everybody on the call center, they were just so moved.

00:25:24.980 And this has gone through all of the talent as well here.

00:25:28.720 And all of us have been so touched by your kindness and your strength.

00:25:35.320 I just wanted to say hi and thank you for calling.

00:25:41.380 You have no idea how much your call meant to all of us.

00:25:43.780 Well, you all mean lots to me.

00:25:47.780 And since things in this world have been so tough that after I talk to Jesus and do my devotions, I have to watch Black TV to make everything seem okay. 0.76

00:26:03.240 And I appreciate everybody more than you all can really understand.

00:26:10.780 But thank you for saying hi.

00:26:14.020 It's a pleasure to meet you.

00:26:15.400 It's a pleasure to meet you.

00:26:18.260 The head of our call center just loves you and is going to be sending you all kinds of Blaze stuff.

00:26:26.100 And we're also, you know, extending your membership so you don't have to worry about paying it anymore.

00:26:34.320 But we're just so honored to have you as a viewer and a listener.

00:26:39.920 Well, I don't know if I pay membership because I'd be kind of cheating with just turning on Pluto.

00:26:46.040 Well, we're going to give you that if you don't have membership, then you are definitely going to get membership so you can see everything.

00:26:52.840 You can spend time, you know, with us off of the set and see all the behind the scenes and all the things that you're missing just by watching us on Pluto.

00:27:03.260 So, thank you.

00:27:04.320 Thank you very much.

00:27:05.680 That warms my heart because, gee, Jesus is good.

00:27:10.020 He always makes me smile, and now he gives me a smile with all of you.

00:27:17.060 I will tell you, Jayla, you said in the uncut version of We Didn't Play, you said that you felt Christ told you to call and say that what we do makes a difference.

00:27:38.660 And I have to tell you, it is a testimony to me how kind and gracious our Heavenly Father is.

00:27:48.140 Your phone call has made this journey of starting the blaze and almost losing everything and trying to keep it afloat for so many years where before it was time for it to now.

00:28:04.820 Well, you have your phone call means a lot to me and has made all of it worth it.

00:28:13.560 So, thank you so much.

00:28:15.600 Well, thank you.

00:28:16.800 Now, don't make me cry, too.

00:28:18.480 We just need to keep trusting in Jesus and pray that lots of people will tune in and learn so they can get their spiritual heart in the right places.

00:28:37.480 God bless you, Kathleen.

00:28:39.160 Thank you so much.

00:28:41.360 God bless you, and he is, and I'm glad I can watch it.

00:28:45.640 Thank you.

00:28:46.200 God bless you.

00:28:46.940 Merry Christmas.

00:28:48.160 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck Program.

00:28:51.220 Thomas Massey, welcome to the program, sir.

00:28:53.000 How are you?

00:28:54.380 Well, I've been better.

00:28:55.580 I'm a little bit out of breath.

00:28:56.860 I just ran from that vote that just threw away the Fourth Amendment to our Constitution.

00:29:04.460 They passed the extension of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act.

00:29:09.820 Oh, my God.

00:29:10.520 Of course, it's been used to spy on Americans, so it's misnamed.

00:29:14.140 Was it even close?

00:29:16.460 It was close in a way.

00:29:20.300 We only needed one-third of the House to vote against it to stop it.

00:29:25.440 See, I sit on the rules committee.

00:29:27.200 Chip Roy sits on the rules committee.

00:29:29.100 Ralph Norman sits on the rules committee.

00:29:30.900 We have a blocking position, and we said, you're not going to mash this thing together with the funding for our military and put it on the floor.

00:29:39.380 That's the swamp way of doing things, and we're done with that.

00:29:42.420 So, instead of bringing the bill through the rules committee, as most bills go, they brought it on the floor without going through the rules committee by suspending the rules.

00:29:52.320 Now, they can do that, but then they have to get a two-thirds majority vote.

00:29:57.380 So, we needed 140 votes, roughly, out of the people who were present to stop it.

00:30:03.100 Yeah, yeah.

00:30:03.840 We got 118.

00:30:04.440 118, I would assume, most of them Republicans, but I hear there were some Democrats that were against this as well.

00:30:12.620 Yeah, we had 73 Republicans vote against this, and 45 Democrats vote against it.

00:30:19.740 Listen to this, America.

00:30:22.820 Just 76, did you say?

00:30:26.040 73 Republicans.

00:30:27.880 Yeah.

00:30:28.020 That is insanity.

00:30:31.080 What are these people thinking?

00:30:34.460 Well, Glenn, they put you in a skiff here, one of these secret rooms, without your phone, and they try to convince you the world's going to end if you don't allow them to reauthorize this.

00:30:44.340 But that's a false choice.

00:30:46.300 We passed a reform to this that would require the government to get a warrant out of Jim Jordan's Judiciary Committee, another committee that Chip Roy and I sit on.

00:30:55.140 And the speaker, instead of bringing it to the floor, as a standalone bill, brought this horrible thing that, as you said in your intro, we already know they've admitted they've used it illegally on 250,000 times on Americans.

00:31:12.560 They brought this same program back to the floor, and they say it's a four-month reauthorization, but as Mike Lee, who's read the bill, points out, it may be more than a year of reauthorization, because they'll just reset the clock in January.

00:31:29.980 Can you give me any hope for the Republic?

00:31:34.760 People ask me, is there any hope?

00:31:38.860 I say, I am here on the 5% chance that we can fix it, and on the 30% chance that it all goes to hell, and I live through that, and I can be here to try to put it back together.

00:31:50.720 So, you know, we started out this year, and McCarthy put three of us on the rules committee so we could make sure this didn't happen, so that we could make sure they didn't put two different bills together.

00:32:07.740 You understand, I don't want to defend them, but I want to explain the reason 147 Republicans voted the wrong way.

00:32:15.000 They were given a false choice.

00:32:16.700 They were saying, if you don't fund this program, then we won't be able to spy on terrorists.

00:32:22.520 And, oh, by the way, we've attached it to the military funding bill, and the soldiers won't get paid, and they won't get funded.

00:32:27.420 You know, I'm sorry, but I'm sorry, Thomas.

00:32:30.360 I don't mean to.

00:32:31.200 I'm probably as mad as you are, but you're being much too kind.

00:32:34.600 I'm sorry. 1.00

00:32:35.220 If you're in Congress and you fall into that trap, which has been used over and over and over again by both sides, you're a moron and not smart enough to be in Washington, D.C. 1.00

00:32:49.660 Sorry. 1.00

00:32:50.720 It's Lucy and the football.

00:32:53.000 For some of us who've been here 10 years, we've seen it about three times because this program comes up for reauthorization every four years or so.

00:33:02.320 But you're right.

00:33:03.460 They use the same tricks over and over.

00:33:05.820 And in the classified rooms, they give you examples of how this program has been used to stop terrorists, but they don't give you examples of how being able to spy on Americans without a warrant has ever been able to help them stop a terrorist.

00:33:20.760 We have.

00:33:22.140 I mean, does CTIL ring a bell with anyone?

00:33:26.920 Are they even paying attention?

00:33:29.080 You know what?

00:33:29.480 Matt Taibbi and Schellenberger came out and testified to about CTIL and the program of psychological ops being run on the American people.

00:33:43.680 The last thing this government needs is more power.

00:33:47.300 You know, everybody on the left and the media, oh, Donald Trump is going to be a dictator.

00:33:52.340 What's the difference from what we're doing right now?

00:33:57.860 What's the difference?

00:34:00.700 Here's here's what's so frustrating to me, Glenn, is we've waited.

00:34:04.980 I've waited I've waited a decade to get a chairman of judiciary or chairman of Intel.

00:34:09.500 And in this case, we've got the chairman of judiciary who actually cares about this issue, Jim Jordan.

00:34:15.140 And and Mike Johnson served on this committee.

00:34:17.800 He was working on this problem with us.

00:34:20.160 Then he became speaker and he won't bring the judiciary bill to the floor.

00:34:25.380 Why?

00:34:27.020 What part of his soul do you think he sold?

00:34:29.840 I don't think he sold his soul.

00:34:32.060 I think they have put him in one of these rooms and shown him the extra super classified stuff and convinced him that if he doesn't do this, there'll be a terrorist attack on January.

00:34:41.140 There's going to be a terrorist attack in this country because our borders are wide open.

00:34:46.440 This that is I mean, you cannot have it both ways.

00:34:51.560 You can't say we have to have this tool because terrorist attacks are going to happen.

00:34:56.660 But we're letting 15.

00:34:59.080 What is it?

00:34:59.660 Five thousand people in every day.

00:35:02.340 You can't have it both ways.

00:35:09.380 Listen, you know, I'm sorry.

00:35:11.320 But your your frustration is is an expression of the frustration of your listeners and of my voters.

00:35:18.400 I am.

00:35:19.380 I mean, I am a chip Roy.

00:35:21.680 He tried.

00:35:22.400 I got to give him credit.

00:35:23.740 He called a motion to adjourn before they brought this bill up.

00:35:27.560 He tried to adjourn Congress.

00:35:29.660 He should have put a you know what?

00:35:31.100 He should have put a pulled the fire alarm.

00:35:33.340 They don't do anything about that anyway.

00:35:37.220 I guess we should all pull fire alarm.

00:35:39.320 Yeah, I mean, it's unbelievable.

00:35:41.200 And then the gall of James Clapper to come out and have the same people that wrote the public statement about Hunter Biden's laptop, the same people come out and say, we really need Section 702.

00:35:55.800 How do these people have any credibility with anybody?

00:36:00.220 I don't know, but they put them up as subject matter experts.

00:36:03.920 They should be a reason you should vote against it.

00:36:06.160 Exactly right.

00:36:07.880 Exactly right.

00:36:10.180 Okay.

00:36:10.720 Can you can you tell me?

00:36:12.520 Gosh, Thomas, I know I love you.

00:36:14.380 I'm sorry.

00:36:15.080 I don't feel like I'm taking it out on you.

00:36:17.620 I know it probably sounds that way, but you're one of the good guys.

00:36:20.500 So and thank Chip and Mike and everybody else.

00:36:23.420 It's working behind the scenes to to stop this stuff.

00:36:28.100 There's a little bit of hope, Glenn.

00:36:29.720 Let me give you a little bit of hope.

00:36:30.900 We still have the judiciary bill.

00:36:32.600 They could still bring it to the floor.

00:36:34.300 We could still pass that in the House.

00:36:36.260 That's what we need to do.

00:36:37.360 There's a fake reform package that the Intel Committee has passed.

00:36:41.620 We do not need to bring that to the floor.

00:36:43.740 Actually, Chip Roy and I and Ralph Norman stopped that from coming to the floor this week.

00:36:48.840 The fake one.

00:36:49.840 So there's a real one on the docket.

00:36:53.160 They could mark it up in January, February, March.

00:36:56.080 That's what we need to do. 0.99

00:36:57.360 It's got reforms like get a damn warrant. 0.95

00:37:00.140 It's got reforms like criminal penalties for people who abuse the program. 0.79

00:37:04.140 It's got reforms like congressmen can go over there and look at what's going on kind of reforms.

00:37:09.560 I think it's a serious bill.

00:37:11.520 That's the one we should bring to the floor and we should do it as soon as we get back after Christmas.

00:37:17.020 All right.

00:37:18.220 What else is being sneaked by the American people in the holiday season?

00:37:23.460 Because this is when it always happens.

00:37:25.720 What else is what else is going to happen?

00:37:27.960 Well, while I've got you on here, here's what's coming up next.

00:37:33.740 They did the extension, the CR.

00:37:36.960 Yeah, of course they did.

00:37:38.520 It's January and February.

00:37:40.980 But you remember I got a provision that if they keep doing CRs, the whole budget gets cut 1%.

00:37:45.960 I know that's not enough, but that will kick in in April and they are freaking out right now.

00:37:52.240 Over 1%?

00:37:53.560 Over 1% like the world will end if we spend 1% less this year than the Democrats did last year.

00:38:01.760 Joe Biden farted out $200 million to Ukraine.

00:38:09.220 I mean, that's not even touching 1%.

00:38:11.940 Are you kidding me?

00:38:13.280 They're freaking out?

00:38:15.020 They're freaking out, right.

00:38:16.420 1% is $15 billion and Joe Biden's asking for another $60 billion.

00:38:20.280 He's asking for 4% of our discretionary budget additionally to go to Ukraine.

00:38:25.760 And they're freaking out over this 1% cut provision that I got signed into law.

00:38:30.520 They did this out of desperation, but now it's coming up.

00:38:34.240 They will move heaven and earth to get out of that 1%. 0.98

00:38:36.860 That's what everybody needs to be watching, I think, right now is whether they cheat us out of the 1% cut.

00:38:42.480 That Chuck Schumer voted for and Joe Biden signed so that they could get the debt limit through.

00:38:49.660 Unbelievable.

00:38:50.280 Well, Thomas, thank you for all the fight that you guys are doing.

00:38:57.660 And I know because I hear from you guys.

00:38:59.900 Personally, I hear from you late at night, what the hell am I still doing here?

00:39:06.040 It's not making a difference.

00:39:07.540 You are making a difference.

00:39:09.540 And at least somebody is standing up to all of this.

00:39:15.340 Can I ask you, do you have an opinion on the Supreme Court taking the Donald Trump case?

00:39:20.860 Or not the Donald Trump case, but the what's-his-face, you know, the prosecutor, that case?

00:39:30.520 I've been so busy with the FISA thing, I haven't paid attention to that.

00:39:34.560 I saw Hunter Biden scroll through here without showing up to testify.

00:39:39.220 Imagine the gall of that.

00:39:43.100 It's insane.

00:39:44.260 It's insane.

00:39:45.640 Insane.

00:39:46.740 I mean, he's just flouting it in our faces.

00:39:50.040 I know.

00:39:50.940 And you guys can't really do anything, can you?

00:39:53.600 I mean, you can hold him in contempt of Congress, but that doesn't mean anything because the Justice Department is rogue.

00:39:59.960 That's correct.

00:40:00.720 You referred to the DOJ.

00:40:02.220 They're not going to do anything.

00:40:03.240 It's the president's son.

00:40:05.760 It's obscene.

00:40:07.340 Thank you so much, Thomas.

00:40:08.420 I appreciate it.

00:40:09.080 All right.

00:40:09.460 Thank you, Glenn.

00:40:10.220 You bet.

00:40:10.500 Bye-bye.

00:40:10.860 Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-naa-na-na-na-na-na! 0.84
