The Glenn Beck Program - Best of the Program ｜ Guests： Rob Schneider & Voddie Baucham ｜ 11⧸13⧸23

00:00:00.000 well hello stew hi glenn i am back with my superpowers yes i saw some of these on instagram

00:00:06.200 have you ever walked in fire i'm i mean can with the temperature of the studio i'm considering it

00:00:13.040 yeah i'm considering hot coals right below my feet during the show right i've walked on you

00:00:18.040 have i saw it and it's crazy yeah crazy the story is crazy tell you about that also uh we get you

00:00:23.500 ready this big week uh week before thanksgiving uh for the renewal of the covenant covenant which

00:00:29.180 happens on thursday's uh broadcast um we have uh who else was on today we had uh voti

00:00:35.980 voti bachman yep who's talking about religion and how fast that's uh going south and also uh we have

00:00:44.100 rob schneider on the actor and comedian he's talking about his change to christ he's gotten baptized and

00:00:53.080 joined to faith we're gonna find out why all on today's podcast here it is

00:00:59.400 you're listening to the best of the glenn beck program

00:01:09.180 so there is a broad coalition uh for american communities it's gathering tomorrow march for

00:01:19.040 israel uh and it's happening at the national mall in washington dc it is to show uh the support for

00:01:28.780 israel and jews i wish i could be there i could not rearrange my schedule but i highly recommend

00:01:36.400 that you go tomorrow i've checked this out six ways to sunday um these organizations i don't agree

00:01:43.980 with on everything but on this i absolutely agree march for israel tomorrow at the national mall

00:01:51.440 in washington dc we have rob on rob schneider is uh with us now he just turned 60 hey old man how are

00:01:59.360 you i don't know how that happened am i have to join that aarp i know i think you got till 65 i i think

00:02:06.720 i don't know uh i'm only 59 so um oh wow yeah wow so i'm i'm not old like you yet all right junior

00:02:16.340 okay uh so um rob you wrote a great article um about your journey into 60 and your advice at 60 but you

00:02:27.300 also talk about you've you've become a practicing catholic you've you've were you christian your whole

00:02:36.240 life and just never practicing or what's your story yeah i i was kind of going through life

00:02:41.000 slugging along ignoring god and uh pretending like uh there was uh like you know i kind of like the

00:02:48.340 atheist mistake of theirs um and you know they're my friends atheists but they make the mistake of 0.81

00:02:54.160 thinking like this whole universe is just this gigantic uh thing expanding and bumping into stuff

00:03:00.640 and uh that's meaningless and just and that we are some accidental freak of intelligence that just

00:03:06.800 happened and and it'll all go away and and i just think that you know if um as my buddy norm mcdonald

00:03:13.160 said you know we're not a we're we're we're a small fraction of the universe so if there is such a

00:03:18.440 thing as compassion love and uh and empathy then it must be endemic to this whole whole thing that we

00:03:25.520 exist in and um and and i i i think um you know the the little voice of uh jesus christ was uh was

00:03:34.040 never was always coming back to me even though i was going away from him and then finally i think

00:03:40.020 during all this and um kind of more obvious i don't know how else to say it but more obvious evil

00:03:46.740 in the world and uh uh i think it kind of uh it gave me a you know i kind of got back to it that

00:03:56.800 way because if there is this really organized evil in the world and and i don't think it's at all more

00:04:02.620 powerful but i do think it's it's here to to challenge us as of individually as a family as a

00:04:09.820 community and i think also as as you and i you know have come to really understand now as a nation

00:04:15.640 yeah that uh i think we um you know uh are you coming to god and realizing that um as the as father

00:04:23.900 ripperger said the and then the and i don't have the thing some people are having a question about

00:04:29.200 christianity is is in jesus whatever form it is i just for me catholicism works because sure it's the

00:04:36.460 closest to the word it's the closest to the actual word of jesus through um through the greek and latin

00:04:43.520 and and that's why that's uh it works for me so but um you know i saw an article about this uh in let

00:04:50.240 me look it was i think it was christianity today no christianpost.com uh and it uh it talked about

00:04:58.580 how you're you know you're you're you have failed in the past to show christ's forgiveness to those who

00:05:05.800 you disagree with um and it's really beautiful stuff that you've said about forgiving people etc etc

00:05:11.660 but then it goes into yeah but he's repeatedly weighed in on lgbtq uh related issues on his x account

00:05:22.340 um he was talking about the uh the female athlete getting spiked in the face by a male

00:05:29.520 competing with the women and he wrote this has got to stop if parents coaches and women athletes all

00:05:35.780 refuse to play against these men it all stops and then he was on the glenn beck program and he talked

00:05:42.180 about gender mutilation um and so they're trying to say that see you really haven't changed because

00:05:49.280 you're not forgiving of those things well that that's a difference between christ doesn't want us to

00:05:55.700 to just uh stand down and accept evil and forgive evil and let it to perpetuate christ wants us to

00:06:03.480 stand up against it you don't want to just you have to knock you know christ knocked over the the

00:06:10.000 the merchants that were no longer practicing uh at the temple because he and and showed a righteous

00:06:17.240 anger we have to protect the most vulnerable the members of our society our children now there's

00:06:23.680 this weird justification that it seems to be okay for women now to suddenly uh in for the quote

00:06:31.580 progress they need to take a back seat to other men and that's what these people are they're men

00:06:36.940 they're not women in any way shape or form and there's there's this strange societal narcissism

00:06:44.220 that is somehow accepted and in some ways is is i think is an attack on women which is an attack on

00:06:51.820 god and i think we need to stand up and protect them and and it's just a um there is evil that can

00:06:59.220 perpetuate and you know it's wrong and the people know it's wrong and i'm glad that uh that the female 0.99

00:07:05.180 athletes like riley gains are are actually talking and stepping up and my wife actually corrected me

00:07:12.500 because i said why don't the student why don't the student athletes and these women step up these you 0.99

00:07:18.800 know who are these swim teams or basketball teams or whatever or volleyball teams step up and say

00:07:23.620 something and she said they do but people aren't listening to them because people don't listen to

00:07:29.040 women and i said wow i mean i think i think she's right i i will tell you that um there's a great

00:07:36.760 misunderstanding on uh speaking the truth that's all that christ spoke was the truth and sometimes

00:07:44.720 people don't like it oh well it doesn't mean i stopped loving you um because you're my brother or

00:07:52.720 sister and i hope that you know some at some point truth corrects you and you come on the side of

00:07:59.920 truth but uh i don't hate you and uh i don't that's why i don't take it out i try not to take it out on

00:08:08.320 you it's really hard it's really hard it is hard it is hard and it's supposed to be hard and it's

00:08:14.960 supposed to be difficult but we have to we have to try to um we have to trust that that righteous

00:08:23.360 instinct and it's there to challenge us but we cannot be silent and we cannot uh we cannot stand

00:08:30.960 down when you know the especially the most vulnerable members of our society are now under

00:08:36.540 attack and i and i think it's you know the the lbgt lbgtq community that were it wasn't that's not

00:08:43.980 the whole community but the community that is pushing this uh knowingly knows it's wrong because

00:08:49.360 they went to a group of attorneys and they got advice about how to do this and they said don't do

00:08:56.200 it with any publicity as far as you know the um gender issues and the gender uh what they call 0.99

00:09:02.900 protections and it's interesting because they just rename protections for something that is the

00:09:07.480 opposite of it which is mutilation because you have like if these and it's i just tell people who

00:09:12.720 who because they use our goodwill against us which is inherently evil but if these children uh can't vote

00:09:22.500 we don't allow them to drive we don't allow them to own a gun we don't allow them to um join the army

00:09:31.020 uh we be or get even tattoos because they are not capable of making these permanent decisions about

00:09:39.220 these things but yet we're able to do these horrible and they are horrible right horrible things and that

00:09:45.560 have lifelong repercussions and you see um you know the in prager university there's a wonderful film

00:09:51.660 i'll say wonderful but there was a very knowledgeable and um informing film about the d transitioners

00:09:59.600 and it's just it's it's criminal and what it is it's sad and let the child uh you know at least

00:10:06.760 turn 18 before they decide to do something i think 18 also my child my oldest one my daughter she wasn't

00:10:13.060 an adult at 18 either i mean truthfully the brain doesn't stop till 25 right so but i do think at least

00:10:18.560 at a minimum if you have any conscience at all then that there should be um any faith at all

00:10:25.880 then you have wait till they're 18 before they make a decision and and um and and just don't

00:10:32.760 jump on any new fads especially a fad that has uh the the the the real evil of it is this idea that

00:10:40.600 they can be uh you know infertile and and just destroy themselves for life but i think there is a 0.60

00:10:47.440 um there is a really an attack on babies there's an attack on girls there's an attack on women this

00:10:54.740 whole thing is a culture of death i mean you look at what's happening with the palestinian uh 1.00

00:11:00.400 the rallies where they're openly chanting uh you know death to jews and send them to germany and

00:11:08.500 all of these horrible horrible things this every bit of this evil at us yeah is culture of death 0.70

00:11:16.220 it is a cultural it is a culture of death it's a culture it's just i think there's um there's

00:11:23.120 different ways to get at this and like you know my coming to christ was also an illogical sense of

00:11:30.000 i do think um you have the atheists now who have it's like the opposite of the snopes trial 0.67

00:11:36.760 the snopes trial which which cornered in the snopes trial was in the 1920s um which was about

00:11:44.000 christianity and evolution and the the idea that christianity was was trying to um

00:11:51.440 close in and close in and limit the idea of god's plan uh of uh which could have been evolutionary in

00:12:00.320 part for sure um was was was basically putting uh a fanatic spin on uh christianity and faith

00:12:10.160 what you have now is the opposite of the snopes trial you have a fanaticism coming from the atheists 0.99

00:12:18.120 coming from godless people and and that are um not wanting to see the potentiality of god

00:12:25.040 and the potentiality of what they're doing could be wrong and just the real real exposing this is

00:12:33.040 seeing the lbgtq community who are supporting hamas and palestinians and it's like somebody's got a

00:12:40.760 whisper in their ear hey they would kill you in a minute it was stowing you to death these these are

00:12:47.040 not people these are murderers you have to call them what they are and what it really the sad thing

00:12:52.660 about the pro-palestinian things you see on campus and you see it's like they you know when they say do

00:12:58.620 not forget never forget the holocaust it's because it it is something that can be forgotten 0.98

00:13:06.440 and it is being forgotten because it's the the very few of remaining holocaust uh survivors who

00:13:15.260 are children now very young children now you makes you realize a terrible thing glenn which is that the

00:13:22.080 the idea that the holocaust could have been you know well that's an end to this horrible anti-semitism

00:13:28.880 you realize that it isn't that it's just nope there's going to be a continual it was an apex

00:13:33.720 anti-semitism that there is not that there is going to be a continuation of pogroms and an attack

00:13:41.500 on these people and uh on our on these on this people because it is it is a continuation of

00:13:51.340 anti-semitism it is certainly not anyone near the end of it and and for people who um war is hell

00:13:59.440 and war is hell and and the idea that um somehow there's a clean more or there's a way to do it

00:14:05.700 i mean the death of of of of children in any situation is is abhorrent and horrible and the

00:14:12.300 uh and you try to prevent it the best you can but if i remember thinking of robert mcnamara

00:14:17.620 who was um working with uh the air force during world war ii they were talking about the fire

00:14:24.360 bombing of japanese cities and which was you know horrific something that horrific absolutely

00:14:31.980 horrific dresden was absolutely horrific maybe that more people died in dresden than nagasaki

00:14:37.960 and hiroshima combined the bombing of dresden um in in world war ii towards the end of uh

00:14:44.420 but to bring germany to its knees to end that war was a was a was a greater good and it's all

00:14:52.280 horrible but the idea that hamas is going to be allowed to survive in any form now for for our

00:14:58.740 questioning of it is um what is going to replace it you know that that's that's the question but

00:15:06.700 you have to we can't sit back and allow your people to be slaughtered no your babies you can't 0.98

00:15:13.140 and so we have to stand with israel and we have to know that this is something that it's it's um

00:15:18.840 it's not going to be easy and that there's there's going to be i mean it's going to require prayer it's

00:15:23.460 going to require god's help it's going to require our help but we have to be there for that and not

00:15:28.600 give in to uh this um hamas uh publicity campaign which they're very good at we're talking to uh rob

00:15:36.440 schneider he's actor comedian uh writer and he's just written a piece for uh the blaze.com

00:15:42.900 the gift of turning 60 where he talks about this and so much more uh and you can find that on the

00:15:49.920 front page of the blaze rob great talking to you thank you so much always thank you for your time

00:15:55.440 but thank you for your faith you bet god godspeed this is the best of the glenbeck program and don't

00:16:00.440 forget rate us on itunes let's let's continue our conversation on the covenant which is coming on

00:16:06.540 thursday and i pose this question at first why does everybody hate the jews scientists have

00:16:13.320 actually looked at this experts and historians this is really good question yeah why does everybody

00:16:18.140 seem to hate the jews uh one first they came up with five reasons one jews are hated because they're

00:16:25.100 an inferior race except jewishness is not a race any person any creed or color can convert to judaism 0.99

00:16:32.440 okay i convert to be a jew they would kill me just as fast okay next one economic jews are hated 0.99

00:16:42.660 because they possess too much wealth and power well okay there are some well-off jews uh but there are 1.00

00:16:48.700 millions of poor and downtrodden jews as well so jews are people too isn't it kind of weird like that 0.94

00:16:55.900 jews are hated because they're different from everyone else's answer number three they're outsiders 1.00

00:17:01.820 well jewish communities often tried to assimilate in the 18th century in europe they tried desperately 0.82

00:17:08.700 to assimilate how'd that work out for them scapegoat answer number four the jews are hated because

00:17:16.820 they're the cause for all the world's problems they've been hated because they're an easy target 0.97

00:17:22.260 okay d aside the jews are hated because they killed jesus christ i just like to point out i'm pretty 0.97

00:17:31.460 sure that were those were the romans that killed jesus they were the ones so i asked the question

00:17:38.800 again why do people hate the jews and why is america second in line notice that we're the great satan

00:17:51.480 why i think there's really one reason the jewish people know who they are they're the children of

00:18:01.100 israel they are from the promised land they are god's chosen people who says they're chosen people

00:18:08.800 that's not that's not right everybody's searching for answers searching for the truth jews have 1.00

00:18:18.060 something unique they have an eternal identity that has been spoken and it's an identity that is built

00:18:26.960 built on traditions laws promise faith in god a covenant a rock of a covenant and the jewish people

00:18:36.080 work hard at studying and teaching that covenant they've handed down the traditions and blessings from

00:18:42.540 one generation to another for thousands of years they are very clear who they are

00:18:49.120 now just that alone holding on to who you are passing on customs and traditions and conventions

00:19:02.160 that makes you a little peculiar in today's we're not doing it they are and their covenant gives them a

00:19:11.200 relationship with god and with one another it binds them it lifts them up you know the attitude in

00:19:18.160 israel is extraordinarily positive right now i have heard that people have told me in israel that

00:19:25.880 everybody's very optimistic they're all like we're going to win this and we're going to solve this

00:19:30.800 problem and they're not cowering in fear where do they get that the covenant of god gives them

00:19:38.820 confidence that they're going to be blessed if they do what they're supposed to do in a world where

00:19:45.160 the foundations of truth and reality are being destroyed and being distorted that kind of confidence

00:19:53.500 lends itself to envy and as yoda warned us envy leads to jealousy jealousy leads to hate hate leads to

00:20:04.880 anger and anger leads to the dark side or something like that like suffering or shut up

00:20:11.480 i'll tell you i'll tell you what yoda said

00:20:15.200 we are suffering today are we not and it's because we're not grateful it's because we forgot who we are

00:20:27.320 jealousy

00:20:31.000 it leads to riots abuse and kidnappings it's led us to war and over and over again it has led to mass

00:20:40.700 genocide you see i think why the jews are so hated is it's satan's way of winning against god

00:20:49.160 this is this is the scriptures according to glenn so take it for what it's worth

00:20:54.420 god made the covenant god did i'll be your god you will be my people you will grow in size 0.99

00:21:03.960 all satan has to do to beat god is to kill god's chosen people that forces if i kill all of his 0.97

00:21:15.420 people then he's no longer god because he said he would protect them 0.99

00:21:21.500 and if we're looking away for a way out of our situation the surest way is to follow the example

00:21:30.040 of the jew remember who you are remember too that we're number two we're the great satan we're next 0.99

00:21:41.340 and that's because we too are a covenant people you notice it's not great britain that they're saying is a

00:21:47.700 great satan it's us it's us because we when the pilgrims set foot in america they step forward

00:21:54.860 not only on the rock at plymouth but on the rock of the covenant comparisons are made all the time

00:22:01.980 between the jews and the pilgrims and the pilgrims were also reviled they were persecuted they were

00:22:07.440 led to a land of promise and like the jews the pilgrims built on traditions laws and faith in god

00:22:14.100 the pilgrims worked hard they didn't blame others they studied they sought and taught the covenant

00:22:21.040 they handed down promises and blessings from one generation to the next they forged a nation

00:22:27.280 built on a relationship with god but we when we get to next week and we're celebrating thanksgiving

00:22:34.440 how many of us are thinking about any of those things any of them we've abandoned our promises

00:22:40.540 we've cast aside our blessings we've given up on our relationship with god

00:22:45.420 but let thursday change this because we can pick up the mantle of our national covenant again

00:22:53.080 and the pilgrims made their covenant with us i i tell you with us not some generic us but us

00:23:04.080 the people living today in mind

00:23:07.100 they're nearing the first thanksgiving they had so many trials

00:23:13.000 only half of their company is left half died on the way over then the other half the half of the

00:23:21.540 other half died in the first winter william brewster is one of the survivors and he said for some divine

00:23:27.220 purpose we yet remain it is our master's will that we stand or fall here and in our harvest trials

00:23:35.120 has not the divine presence been with us wherefore let us stand we believe this movement to be from him

00:23:42.900 if he prosper us we shall be the means of planting here a christian colony and of ending hence its precious 0.99

00:23:51.120 blessing blessed blessed it will be for us blessed for this land for this vast continent generations to come

00:24:00.680 shall look back to this hour and find these scenes of agonizing trial

00:24:06.420 to this day of small things and say

00:24:09.320 here was our beginning as a people

00:24:11.640 these were our fathers

00:24:14.080 through their trials we inherit our blessings

00:24:17.800 their faith is our faith

00:24:19.980 their hope is our hope

00:24:21.500 their god is our god

00:24:24.260 that's what the covenant is about

00:24:27.180 you have inherited the blessings

00:24:31.180 and the responsibilities that have come with this covenant

00:24:35.220 you didn't make it

00:24:36.360 but our pilgrims

00:24:38.100 george washington and abraham lincoln

00:24:39.980 renewed it

00:24:40.780 we've made this

00:24:43.020 this is

00:24:43.900 what god means when he says

00:24:46.500 if that nation will turn

00:24:48.620 back

00:24:49.360 and turn their face back to me

00:24:51.820 i will heal their land

00:24:53.580 it's your turn

00:24:56.220 to step up and answer the call

00:24:58.540 the nation is waiting

00:25:01.760 the world is waiting

00:25:04.880 god is waiting

00:25:27.580 and we have a 15 day

00:25:29.460 that is more on your family

00:25:31.700 this first one is about the covenant

00:25:33.600 what it all means

00:25:34.800 all the examples of it in the past

00:25:36.980 and the 15 day

00:25:39.320 is for your family

00:25:40.340 and yourself

00:25:41.020 to prepare for it

00:25:42.400 you'll find those both

00:25:44.980 at glennbeck.com

00:25:46.220 this is the best of the glennbeck program

00:25:48.840 oh my good friend

00:25:51.700 dr vody bachman

00:25:53.060 is uh with it

00:25:54.640 he with us

00:25:55.540 he is the author of

00:25:57.160 the ever-loving truth

00:25:59.000 how you doing vody

00:26:00.360 i'm doing great man

00:26:03.660 it's good to talk to you again

00:26:04.720 thank you

00:26:05.060 are you in

00:26:05.720 are you in africa

00:26:07.180 still

00:26:07.960 yeah i'm in zambia right now

00:26:10.240 yeah

00:26:10.460 how are things in

00:26:11.420 in zambia

00:26:12.240 i don't get to say that very often

00:26:13.800 things are going okay

00:26:17.620 it's hot

00:26:18.100 yeah

00:26:18.780 things are going okay

00:26:19.840 yeah

00:26:20.100 um

00:26:21.120 so vody

00:26:22.020 i wanted to get you on

00:26:22.940 because we're

00:26:23.300 we're doing

00:26:24.040 uh

00:26:24.740 renewal of the covenant

00:26:26.400 the pilgrims

00:26:27.140 george washington

00:26:27.800 and aram

00:26:28.340 lincoln made

00:26:29.500 uh

00:26:29.960 in our history

00:26:30.720 and

00:26:31.960 um

00:26:32.800 it

00:26:33.220 it all really revolves

00:26:34.560 around the truth

00:26:35.540 and we have

00:26:36.520 a problem

00:26:37.360 with truth

00:26:39.020 right now

00:26:39.860 and i know

00:26:40.760 you have a book out

00:26:41.700 and you talk about

00:26:42.680 a um

00:26:43.480 a pastor

00:26:44.880 that uh

00:26:46.920 you were talking

00:26:47.800 talking to

00:26:48.780 and he said

00:26:49.680 let me tell you about

00:26:50.520 my bible study

00:26:51.520 that i had a few weeks ago

00:26:53.420 and he was uh

00:26:55.120 teaching uh

00:26:56.540 first corinthians

00:26:57.640 chapter five

00:26:58.580 can you tell that story

00:26:59.720 do you remember that story

00:27:02.600 no

00:27:04.540 no

00:27:05.100 i

00:27:05.540 you gotta

00:27:05.920 you gotta

00:27:06.260 you gotta help me

00:27:06.820 okay so

00:27:07.280 he said

00:27:08.000 he was sitting

00:27:08.640 sitting down

00:27:09.540 in a group full of

00:27:10.380 uh

00:27:10.940 people

00:27:11.460 and

00:27:12.600 he was

00:27:13.560 watching

00:27:14.020 the young

00:27:14.940 um

00:27:15.980 people

00:27:16.540 because he

00:27:17.840 got to the

00:27:18.380 part of the text

00:27:19.220 where it involved

00:27:20.100 an affair

00:27:20.780 uh

00:27:21.900 and uh

00:27:23.500 that he knew

00:27:24.300 that

00:27:24.620 you know

00:27:25.480 there was going

00:27:25.940 to be problems

00:27:26.500 and he said

00:27:27.780 it wasn't

00:27:29.080 the problem

00:27:29.780 of the illicit

00:27:30.940 affair

00:27:31.480 that intrigued

00:27:32.980 the younger

00:27:33.820 set

00:27:34.080 but the idea

00:27:35.060 that paul

00:27:35.860 would have

00:27:36.420 yeah paul

00:27:37.460 would have

00:27:37.840 the audacity

00:27:38.660 the idea

00:27:39.340 of the response

00:27:40.220 right

00:27:40.680 that he should

00:27:41.620 be removed

00:27:42.120 from the church

00:27:42.860 yeah

00:27:44.460 yeah

00:27:44.820 um

00:27:45.880 yeah

00:27:46.300 well yeah

00:27:46.620 when you start

00:27:47.040 asking me

00:27:47.400 about the stories

00:27:48.060 in the

00:27:48.440 i'm sorry

00:27:49.000 yeah

00:27:49.300 yeah

00:27:49.560 you can throw

00:27:49.980 me a little

00:27:50.360 bit

00:27:50.580 i know

00:27:50.960 yeah

00:27:51.600 that that

00:27:52.240 was the idea

00:27:53.120 that the people

00:27:54.380 were offended

00:27:55.640 by the absolute

00:27:58.120 truth claim

00:27:58.880 more offended

00:28:00.040 by the absolute

00:28:00.640 truth claim

00:28:01.260 than they were

00:28:02.340 by the sin

00:28:03.260 itself

00:28:03.780 it's as though

00:28:05.180 in in this

00:28:06.300 a the greatest

00:28:08.340 sin that you

00:28:09.640 can commit

00:28:10.320 is not what

00:28:11.960 god calls sin

00:28:13.140 but actually

00:28:14.160 calling out

00:28:15.180 what god calls

00:28:16.500 sin

00:28:16.860 and you know

00:28:18.480 the the reason

00:28:19.820 that i sort of

00:28:21.060 hesitate with that

00:28:21.740 story is because

00:28:23.080 you know

00:28:23.600 this is an

00:28:25.340 updated and

00:28:26.160 re-released

00:28:26.560 version of a

00:28:27.860 book my first

00:28:28.920 book yeah

00:28:29.760 i actually wrote

00:28:30.320 in in 2004

00:28:31.320 and that's one of

00:28:32.160 the stories from

00:28:32.860 the actual from

00:28:33.760 the original you

00:28:34.620 know book back

00:28:35.160 in 2004

00:28:35.740 and the reason

00:28:36.920 that we redid

00:28:38.040 this the reason

00:28:38.660 that we did a

00:28:39.240 an update and

00:28:40.280 revision was

00:28:41.380 because those

00:28:43.000 things back

00:28:44.660 then are not

00:28:46.060 only still with

00:28:47.240 us but they've

00:28:48.540 actually grown

00:28:49.540 and mutated

00:28:50.900 oh yeah

00:28:51.800 and so today

00:28:53.160 you know it

00:28:54.380 wouldn't be you

00:28:55.600 know an affair

00:28:56.500 today it would

00:28:58.140 be something

00:28:58.700 about you

00:28:59.740 know that

00:29:00.360 trans and

00:29:01.660 actually saying

00:29:02.460 that you know

00:29:03.140 trans women

00:29:04.100 are not 0.97

00:29:05.360 real women 0.91

00:29:06.100 but the fact

00:29:07.380 of the matter

00:29:07.720 is that this

00:29:08.500 new version

00:29:09.300 of tolerance

00:29:10.040 has elevated

00:29:11.760 um so you

00:29:13.260 know everybody's

00:29:14.260 personal desire

00:29:15.400 above the word

00:29:16.360 of god

00:29:16.660 how do you

00:29:17.580 how do you

00:29:18.240 describe this

00:29:19.680 new tolerance

00:29:20.480 because tolerance

00:29:21.280 used to mean

00:29:22.800 that you know

00:29:23.740 you just put up

00:29:25.020 with somebody

00:29:25.720 who's saying

00:29:26.620 things you don't

00:29:27.220 necessarily agree

00:29:27.900 with or don't

00:29:28.420 like and you're

00:29:29.040 just like you

00:29:29.820 know just let

00:29:31.220 it pass

00:29:31.800 but now you

00:29:33.440 can't do that

00:29:34.100 right

00:29:34.980 no no no

00:29:36.480 the the new

00:29:37.680 tolerance you

00:29:38.580 know that it's

00:29:39.420 it's there's

00:29:39.980 three pieces

00:29:40.640 there's relativism

00:29:41.700 pluralism and

00:29:42.600 tolerance and you

00:29:44.360 know I put these

00:29:44.820 together and talk

00:29:46.300 about how they

00:29:46.780 form this foundation

00:29:48.060 their relativism the

00:29:49.440 idea that you know

00:29:50.220 truth is relative

00:29:50.940 there's no absolute

00:29:51.900 truth pluralism all

00:29:53.620 ideas are equal and

00:29:55.900 of equal value

00:29:56.680 tolerance is that

00:30:00.560 you must celebrate

00:30:01.820 the ideas of

00:30:03.820 others and

00:30:05.700 consider them of

00:30:07.280 equal value to

00:30:09.140 your own so

00:30:10.600 it's it's not

00:30:11.780 disagreeing agreeably

00:30:13.840 it's not disagreeing

00:30:16.780 at all but

00:30:17.980 there's a caveat

00:30:18.620 and the caveat

00:30:19.960 is there are

00:30:22.480 truths with which

00:30:23.500 you can disagree

00:30:24.240 and they are

00:30:25.580 truths found in

00:30:26.720 the scripture you

00:30:27.800 don't have to

00:30:28.480 you don't have to

00:30:29.380 tolerate truths that

00:30:30.280 are found in the

00:30:31.200 scripture you have

00:30:31.940 to tolerate all

00:30:32.700 people but you

00:30:33.600 don't have to

00:30:34.100 tolerate you know

00:30:35.320 white male 0.81

00:30:36.200 heterosexual 0.84

00:30:36.920 cisgendered able

00:30:38.160 bodied right

00:30:38.840 native born right

00:30:40.340 so again this new

00:30:41.560 tolerance is is

00:30:42.520 selective and

00:30:43.540 intolerant you

00:30:45.840 know there's a I

00:30:46.820 I've I've noticed

00:30:48.540 a really disturbing

00:30:49.680 trend as we

00:30:51.960 all least God

00:30:54.080 fearing people

00:30:54.700 have started to

00:30:57.620 go you know

00:30:58.360 maybe we

00:31:01.320 better turn back

00:31:02.240 to God maybe I

00:31:03.380 haven't done what

00:31:04.300 I was supposed to

00:31:05.200 do maybe I

00:31:06.120 haven't you know

00:31:07.240 I'm not the best

00:31:08.140 representative of

00:31:09.580 my faith and

00:31:11.700 more and more

00:31:12.180 people are starting

00:31:12.960 to turn there and

00:31:14.360 some people are

00:31:15.500 taking I've I've

00:31:17.380 talked to several

00:31:18.160 people in in

00:31:19.180 America who

00:31:20.440 believe that our

00:31:21.780 Constitution it's

00:31:23.640 old outdated on

00:31:24.860 our side it's old

00:31:26.260 outdated and it

00:31:27.500 needs to be

00:31:28.100 replaced with more

00:31:29.300 of a religious

00:31:30.220 state which to

00:31:32.100 me is terrifying

00:31:34.100 and not the path

00:31:35.960 that we're supposed

00:31:36.680 to go down

00:31:37.340 yeah it's

00:31:41.300 interesting you

00:31:41.980 know to think

00:31:43.600 that our

00:31:44.080 Constitution the

00:31:45.000 U.S.

00:31:45.220 Constitution is

00:31:45.880 the oldest

00:31:46.720 standing Constitution

00:31:48.260 in the world

00:31:49.740 by far and I

00:31:50.880 think it speaks

00:31:51.820 to it speaks

00:31:53.200 to God's

00:31:54.000 providence and

00:31:55.080 the genius of

00:31:56.620 the individuals

00:31:57.400 you know who

00:31:58.780 put it together

00:32:00.200 but you know

00:32:02.460 that doesn't

00:32:03.380 mean that it

00:32:05.040 can't be eroded

00:32:06.100 and it is being

00:32:07.460 eroded and I

00:32:09.560 don't think the

00:32:10.220 answer to the

00:32:11.420 erosion is to

00:32:13.100 somehow do what

00:32:14.600 other countries do

00:32:15.840 all the time

00:32:16.760 which is

00:32:17.420 abandon it

00:32:18.160 you know and

00:32:19.460 try to do

00:32:20.780 something new

00:32:21.600 and try to do

00:32:22.260 something different

00:32:23.520 because the fact

00:32:24.400 of the matter is

00:32:25.140 you know our

00:32:26.460 worldview and

00:32:28.100 foundation is so

00:32:30.500 skewed that

00:32:32.140 whatever we came

00:32:33.080 up with I'd be

00:32:33.980 afraid of

00:32:34.560 yeah so would

00:32:35.780 I the the

00:32:37.340 idea though

00:32:38.380 that we have

00:32:40.740 people from all

00:32:41.580 different faiths

00:32:42.560 but we are a

00:32:43.540 Judeo-Christian

00:32:44.380 nation that's

00:32:45.740 what we were

00:32:46.300 founded on

00:32:47.140 so how you

00:32:49.240 know go ahead

00:32:50.020 that's why that's

00:32:51.160 why we can have

00:32:52.140 people of so many

00:32:53.240 different faiths

00:32:54.360 because our

00:32:55.580 biblical morality

00:32:57.160 is such that we

00:32:59.820 do not force

00:33:01.200 our faith on

00:33:02.740 others it is

00:33:03.920 our biblical

00:33:04.580 morality that

00:33:05.580 laid the

00:33:06.000 foundation for

00:33:07.280 people to come

00:33:08.200 and be free

00:33:09.440 it's our

00:33:10.600 biblical morality

00:33:11.480 that created

00:33:12.400 the environment

00:33:13.280 and ironically

00:33:15.180 people are now

00:33:16.840 trying to throw

00:33:17.740 away that

00:33:18.380 biblical morality

00:33:19.240 and the end

00:33:20.680 result will be

00:33:21.860 tyranny not

00:33:23.440 tolerance

00:33:23.940 the the average

00:33:25.840 the role of the

00:33:26.920 average Christian

00:33:27.940 in I mean

00:33:29.220 we've I think

00:33:31.120 tolerance has been

00:33:32.120 used against us

00:33:33.500 because we've

00:33:34.700 wanted to be kind

00:33:35.840 etc etc and we

00:33:37.720 stop speaking the

00:33:38.780 truth and

00:33:40.280 that's so

00:33:41.660 misunderstood in

00:33:43.340 today's world

00:33:44.000 what what role

00:33:45.700 should a

00:33:47.940 Christian play

00:33:48.940 in today's

00:33:49.720 society what

00:33:51.300 should we be

00:33:51.940 doing

00:33:52.320 yeah and you

00:33:54.920 know I talk

00:33:55.480 about this in the

00:33:56.000 book too and at

00:33:56.740 the end of the

00:33:57.180 day we're

00:33:57.640 truth tellers

00:33:58.600 at the end of

00:33:59.700 the day we

00:34:00.280 we stand on

00:34:01.540 the truth of

00:34:02.740 the gospel

00:34:03.400 at the end of

00:34:04.460 the day we love

00:34:05.200 people enough to

00:34:06.060 tell them the

00:34:06.640 truth we believe

00:34:08.460 that all men

00:34:09.340 are sinners and

00:34:10.520 that there is

00:34:10.960 only one answer

00:34:12.220 to man's sin

00:34:13.240 problem and

00:34:14.320 when we present

00:34:15.280 Christ and his

00:34:16.580 person and work

00:34:17.740 as the answer to

00:34:18.560 man's sin problem

00:34:19.360 that is not us

00:34:20.620 saying I'm

00:34:21.380 superior to you

00:34:22.600 that's us saying

00:34:23.820 I'm just one

00:34:24.860 beggar telling

00:34:25.480 another beggar 1.00

00:34:26.160 where I found

00:34:26.740 bread

00:34:27.120 tell me your

00:34:31.120 help help on

00:34:32.420 this there are so

00:34:33.340 many people I

00:34:34.680 was just talking

00:34:35.120 to Rob Schneider

00:34:35.960 the actor and

00:34:37.240 comedian and

00:34:37.940 he just

00:34:39.140 converted and

00:34:40.880 he's now a

00:34:42.360 Christian where

00:34:42.820 he was kind of

00:34:43.400 nothing and

00:34:45.480 he said it's

00:34:47.460 because evil is

00:34:48.440 becoming so

00:34:49.260 apparent now I

00:34:50.860 figured I should

00:34:51.980 pick a side

00:34:52.580 but for some

00:34:54.940 reason evil is

00:34:56.080 not apparent to

00:34:57.440 so many for

00:34:58.160 instance I feel

00:34:59.640 bad for the

00:35:00.620 innocent people

00:35:01.960 in Gaza that

00:35:03.500 might be killed 0.56

00:35:04.380 as collateral

00:35:05.760 damage in a

00:35:07.620 war just like

00:35:09.280 I felt bad

00:35:10.020 for Germans

00:35:10.860 that were killed

00:35:11.780 in the war as

00:35:13.560 collateral damage

00:35:14.860 but you're

00:35:17.880 seeing people

00:35:18.540 now on the

00:35:19.140 streets call

00:35:21.060 for the death 1.00

00:35:21.920 of Jews 1.00

00:35:22.500 quoting Hitler

00:35:23.900 and still so

00:35:27.240 many people all

00:35:28.020 around the world

00:35:28.580 are not waking

00:35:29.760 up to think

00:35:31.260 this sounds

00:35:31.700 evil how do

00:35:33.820 you how do

00:35:35.520 you get people

00:35:36.220 to wake up if

00:35:37.140 they will stare

00:35:38.340 evil in its

00:35:39.080 face and do

00:35:41.460 nothing yeah

00:35:44.940 that and

00:35:45.540 that's the great

00:35:46.260 irony you know

00:35:47.420 it people do

00:35:48.720 see evil but

00:35:50.440 you know as

00:35:51.260 Isaiah warns

00:35:52.260 they actually

00:35:52.960 call good evil

00:35:54.420 and evil good

00:35:56.260 and ultimately

00:35:58.400 this is a

00:35:59.640 worldview issue

00:36:00.720 you keep

00:36:01.760 hearing this

00:36:02.500 same and we've

00:36:03.440 talked about this

00:36:03.980 before when I

00:36:05.140 was there with

00:36:05.520 you in person

00:36:06.060 the same

00:36:07.380 neo-Marxist

00:36:08.400 worldview that

00:36:09.080 divides the

00:36:09.860 world into

00:36:11.220 oppressors and

00:36:12.420 the oppressed

00:36:13.080 and when you

00:36:14.360 look at

00:36:15.260 conflicts

00:36:16.400 you look at

00:36:17.740 conflicts through

00:36:18.740 that lens of

00:36:20.320 who qualifies

00:36:22.000 as the

00:36:22.800 oppressor

00:36:23.680 here

00:36:24.480 not by their

00:36:25.620 actions

00:36:26.240 right but by

00:36:27.000 your

00:36:27.160 classifications

00:36:27.840 and who

00:36:28.660 qualifies as

00:36:29.500 the oppressed

00:36:30.140 and people are

00:36:31.180 making decisions

00:36:32.260 based on that

00:36:34.100 and solely

00:36:35.240 based on that

00:36:36.460 and that

00:36:38.740 stops them from

00:36:39.800 seeing

00:36:40.540 evil things

00:36:42.700 that they grew

00:36:43.420 up knowing

00:36:44.360 I mean there's

00:36:45.480 not a person

00:36:46.200 except for

00:36:47.080 Nazis

00:36:47.480 there's not a

00:36:48.720 person in

00:36:49.180 America that

00:36:49.960 didn't grow up

00:36:50.800 being taught

00:36:51.540 you know the

00:36:53.040 holocaust was 0.97

00:36:54.140 a horror show

00:36:56.240 yeah yeah

00:36:59.620 and that's

00:37:00.820 part of the

00:37:01.420 great you know

00:37:02.080 irony and all

00:37:02.800 this but

00:37:03.820 there's less

00:37:05.080 of that being

00:37:06.240 taught than

00:37:07.520 there is

00:37:08.340 this

00:37:09.300 oppressor

00:37:10.540 oppressed

00:37:11.280 binary which

00:37:12.680 is interesting

00:37:13.260 because we

00:37:13.780 don't want

00:37:14.260 binaries with

00:37:15.440 male and

00:37:15.800 female but we 0.97

00:37:16.400 want binaries

00:37:17.160 with oppressor

00:37:18.340 oppressed right

00:37:19.180 but there's

00:37:20.040 so much of

00:37:20.760 that being

00:37:21.620 taught and

00:37:22.940 it overwhelms

00:37:24.440 anything else

00:37:25.760 that's being

00:37:26.360 taught in

00:37:28.080 terms of

00:37:28.620 history and

00:37:29.800 also what's

00:37:31.360 being taught

00:37:31.960 is that

00:37:33.060 there's certain

00:37:33.980 ideologies

00:37:35.920 that are

00:37:37.720 evil because

00:37:38.660 these ideologies

00:37:39.820 are used to

00:37:41.020 oppress people

00:37:41.740 and also this

00:37:42.760 whole idea of

00:37:43.520 anti-colonialism

00:37:44.820 right and so

00:37:45.880 if you can

00:37:46.560 classify someone

00:37:47.880 as a colonizer

00:37:50.200 right I mean

00:37:51.780 that's like the

00:37:52.540 worst thing in

00:37:53.460 the world that

00:37:54.260 anyone could do

00:37:55.200 or be and

00:37:56.160 anything that

00:37:56.860 happens to them

00:37:57.740 they deserve

00:37:58.540 Na-na-na-na 0.95

00:38:00.100 Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na 0.99

00:38:00.540 Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na it-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-nee-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na. 0.90
