00:00:00.000 We talked a lot today about critical race theory.
00:00:03.480 We had a couple of guests on Ryan Gerdusky.
00:00:05.560 He's actually the guy who broke that story about John Weaver's sexual harassment with little boys.
00:00:11.620 He was the co-founder of the Lincoln Project.
00:00:14.600 So Ryan is the guy who broke that story, but he is getting involved now because he can't believe what's being taught with critical race theory all over the country.
00:00:25.360 If you think it's not in your school, it is.
00:00:27.680 He started something to help people run for school board, 1776projectpac.com.
00:00:34.240 We talked to him.
00:00:35.380 We also talked to a woman in Loudoun County, Virginia, which is Alice in Wonderland world.
00:00:42.320 It is completely upside down where the teachers and the school board look at parents as if they're an annoyance that just need to be shut down.
00:00:53.720 The campaign to shut down these parents in the school is is un-American.
00:00:59.680 Luckily, there is somebody standing by her.
00:01:02.900 And we talked to the woman who is under attack and is suing the county and the school board.
00:01:10.620 We have a conversation with that.
00:01:12.360 Bill O'Reilly, of course, is always great.
00:01:14.140 And Richard Grinnell, if I could spend a day with anyone and just pick his brain, it would be Richard Grinnell, the former director of national intelligence, oversaw all of the intelligence.
00:01:28.660 I talked to him a little bit about the hacking that is going on in our food supply, in our gas lines.
00:01:36.040 But also, I wanted to know if he had ever seen anything that said white supremacy and Donald Trump supporters are the most dangerous to our republic over anything else.
00:01:49.060 You don't want to miss that interview, all on today's podcast.
00:01:59.800 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck program.
00:02:07.380 Yesterday, we told you about the guy who who just said, you know, that Jews have an insatiable appetite for war and killing.
00:02:15.980 And he said, I don't know how I'd reconcile that identity if I were a Jew with the behavior of fundamentalist Jewish extremists or Israel as a nation.
00:02:26.740 The details would confuse me.
00:02:28.580 I wouldn't understand those who suggest that bombing Lebanon, slaughtering Lebanese people and largely destroying Beirut in retaliation for the capture of a few soldiers is justified.
00:02:39.660 He was he was a head of diversity at Google.
00:02:43.500 I wonder if he's a Marxist, but he's no longer with Google.
00:02:50.020 They fired him.
00:02:50.940 I guess if you just say Jews have an appetite for blood, I guess I guess that's enough to get you fired today.
00:02:58.620 Holy cow.
00:03:00.200 So that's good news.
00:03:01.520 I want to talk to you about something else.
00:03:03.180 We have a woman who is being targeted in, shoot, Virginia, because she's standing up against critical race theory in this very famous county, Loudoun County, where the people are.
00:03:19.220 Are just coming, just coming after you and they don't seem to care, including the county attorney, Ryan Gerdusky.
00:03:29.900 He is a journalist.
00:03:32.340 He's actually the guy who broke the story recently on the Lincoln Project.
00:03:36.420 The co-founder, John Weaver, who was sexually harassing young, you know, young, young boys, which is always a plus, I guess, if you're running a a the Lincoln Project.
00:03:50.460 Nobody seemed to have a problem with it until he broke the story.
00:03:55.320 He is also the author of They're Not Listening and the founder of the 1776 Project PAC.
00:04:02.220 Now, this has something to do with critical race theory, and I'm going to let him explain it.
00:04:06.360 Hi, Ryan.
00:04:06.840 How are you?
00:04:07.960 Good.
00:04:08.480 Thank you for having me on, Glenn.
00:04:10.720 You bet.
00:04:11.580 So let's first talk about the let's first talk about the pact and tell me what it does and why you started it.
00:04:18.540 Yeah, so the 1776 Project PAC, PAC, P-A-C, by the way, it's on 1776projectpac.com.
00:04:26.500 It's the nation's very first super PAC intended solely for school board candidates.
00:04:32.600 So because critical race theory has been moving through our public institutions, especially through grammar schools, elementary schools and high schools,
00:04:40.440 the only way that we can counter that on democratic means is by taking over the school boards with conservatives who want to promote, you know, a patriot, patriotic version of American history.
00:04:53.140 The point of the PAC was to sit there and try to campaign on behalf of school board candidates,
00:04:59.640 especially in counties and districts that were promoting critical race theory already and trying to reach out to candidates who are in districts that are not promoting critical race theory,
00:05:10.000 but reach out to them about how to be proactive with maybe different types of history books, different types of civics education and how to what what school board members can do to counter what's going on.
00:05:24.940 But with principals and with educators and these school systems.
00:05:29.700 So when you say I want to promote a patriotic history or curriculum, I don't want a patriotic history.
00:05:37.940 I think I just want a true history of the United States.
00:05:42.020 I think that's patriotic enough in itself.
00:05:45.700 Who are you?
00:05:47.600 How do you judge who to help and who not to help?
00:05:51.380 What are the requirements for somebody who's running for school board to get your assistance?
00:05:56.520 Well, they have to oppose critical race theory.
00:05:58.620 That's the most important thing we've had.
00:06:02.800 Yeah, I mean, you have to oppose critical race theory.
00:06:05.480 That is the most important position you have to have.
00:06:09.100 You know, every school district is different.
00:06:10.840 Every state is different.
00:06:12.020 So different people are worried about, you know, mask mandates in some schools and not worry about other schools.
00:06:17.760 My main point is critical race theory, because I think it's truly a cancer in society right now.
00:06:23.480 The the thing is PAC started about a week ago.
00:06:26.420 So we've raised about thirty two thousand dollars over four hundred and fifty donors in a week, which is great.
00:06:33.860 We'll see how much I can raise by November.
00:06:36.520 There's no corporate money.
00:06:38.420 This is not I literally started this on my bed with my dog.
00:06:42.460 Found found a treasure.
00:06:43.660 We started a PAC.
00:06:44.540 I've been working on campaigns for 15 years.
00:06:46.500 So I know how to I know how to do this.
00:06:49.260 I know how to campaign on behalf of somebody.
00:06:50.840 But there's no major organization.
00:06:52.340 So I'm going to see come roll around September, see how much money we've raised.
00:06:56.600 And then and by the way, I have a full time job.
00:06:58.480 This is not, you know, my it's not a grift.
00:07:00.720 I'm creating to sit there and and raise money.
00:07:03.060 This is something I'm doing on the side, just I think, because I have to help.
00:07:06.040 And it's the only way I know how to help.
00:07:08.080 So we'll see how much money we raise.
00:07:10.100 And then we'll see which elections are being held this year.
00:07:12.520 It's rolling elections in school boards, so it's not every November.
00:07:15.980 It's not every, you know, every other year.
00:07:18.360 It's they're they're constantly rolling.
00:07:19.880 There'll be a lot come November.
00:07:21.700 And I'll see which how much money I have and which candidates I can help in which states.
00:07:26.340 I know Bucks County, Pennsylvania, I've reached out to me a lot.
00:07:29.660 People from there, people from Kansas have reached out to me a lot.
00:07:32.280 People think critical race theory is only a blue state issue or a blue city issue.
00:07:36.580 It's in over thirty five hundred classrooms.
00:07:38.840 It is.
00:07:41.800 And like you said, it is it's crippling.
00:07:45.420 It's it is the kryptonite to America.
00:07:52.180 If we teach this to our kids, we are surely, surely done.
00:07:58.020 And, you know, I have I've seen it in in in Texas, in some of the most conservative counties.
00:08:05.620 And what I'm really concerned about is, you know, when you get these school board members on, they really, really have to pay attention to this and make sure they root it out all the way to the roots.
00:08:19.100 Because I'm seeing all over the country teachers saying, well, we'll just teach it anyway.
00:08:24.060 I mean, we'll just teach it in our own way.
00:08:25.800 We'll just find if they find alternative words for it, alternative terms for it.
00:08:31.600 But the thing that school board members have the control of is the budget.
00:08:34.680 So things like where speak where speakers come in from out of out of, you know, out of the school system.
00:08:40.120 If they're bringing Robin DiAngelo, that's the major red flag.
00:08:43.340 They control the superintendent position in many places.
00:08:46.000 They control what textbooks are taught.
00:08:48.340 So when I said, you know, we should create we should teach me like a patriotic version of history.
00:08:53.040 I don't mean to whitewash history.
00:08:54.600 I don't mean to downplay certain bad things that happen and highlight certain good things.
00:08:58.260 What I'm sitting there and saying, though, is, is that we need to, you know, have a proactive version that sits there and addresses a lot of these concerns head on with, you know, the problematic portions of history, but creates the narrative overall that our nation is great and that great men of history, as colorful as they were or as problematic as they were by today's standards.
00:09:19.040 The overarching narrative of their life and of their time is that they moved the human race forward.
00:09:24.860 And I think that that is really, really important.
00:09:28.380 And so trying to find textbooks that promote those kinds of thoughts in children is another key portion of it.
00:09:37.560 We're talking to Ryan Gerdusky.
00:09:39.840 He has just started 1776 Project PAC, P-A-C dot com, which is supporting those people that want to get into politics and run for school board.
00:09:52.060 If you have a spine of steel against critical race theory.
00:09:57.820 What what brought you to to this?
00:10:00.480 I mean, you're a journalist, generally speaking, aren't you not?
00:10:03.340 Are you not?
00:10:04.200 I am.
00:10:05.060 I am.
00:10:05.460 Well, what happened was, was I have I don't have children, but I have a very large family, 36 first cousins.
00:10:11.100 I'm the second oldest of all of them.
00:10:13.580 And my godson was in school and his teacher, because everyone was doing basically online classes over the last year.
00:10:21.680 His one of his teachers said, said, you know, to my nine year old cousin, my nine year old godson, that police cars only follow white cars.
00:10:29.700 They don't follow.
00:10:30.340 Oh, sorry.
00:10:30.620 They only follow black cars.
00:10:31.740 They don't follow white cars.
00:10:33.320 Now, she's teaching about, you know, racial profiling to profiling to a nine year old in the most innocuous terms possible in order to sit there and kind of create this idea that the police are biased and police are racist.
00:10:45.300 Now, we have a lot of police in my family.
00:10:46.760 And he called me with a lot of questions and it was infuriating.
00:10:50.480 And there was no kind of check on it.
00:10:52.900 I mean, the parents started calling.
00:10:54.120 The PTA got involved.
00:10:55.460 The principal ended up getting involved.
00:10:57.440 But had he not been doing classes at home, we would have never really probably ever learned about it.
00:11:03.260 We only learned about it because, you know, his parents overheard.
00:11:06.500 So I thought that this was there has to be some kind of check.
00:11:09.400 There has to be something we can do, something I can do.
00:11:12.340 And, you know, I don't have the means to create a new school.
00:11:14.780 I don't I can't I don't have the, you know, credentials to create a new textbook, but I can run a campaign because I've done them in the past and I can run a super PAC and I've done that in the past.
00:11:25.560 So let me let me just do that.
00:11:27.360 And I created this PAC.
00:11:29.400 And, you know, if you want to run for school board, I would go to 1776projectpac.com, PAC.com.
00:11:36.900 Let me know when you're when you're where you're running and when the election is.
00:11:40.320 If you want to donate, we definitely need donations, because, like I said, I'm doing this all, you know, without a corporate sponsor, without a major billionaire behind it.
00:11:48.840 It's just people saying they're wanting to donate to make this better.
00:11:52.300 And if you want to just get involved and tell me about the school district that is promoting critical race theory, I'd love to hear it because there's no database.
00:12:00.020 I'm trying to still get all that information going.
00:12:02.320 So we know where is this being promoted and when.
00:12:05.520 I find it astonishing how deeply entrenched it already is in almost every area of the country.
00:12:15.580 I mean, people just don't you know, they'll hear things like you got to be anti-racist and they don't you know, they're like, you know, I'm I'm against racism.
00:12:23.960 So I guess that's right.
00:12:25.080 This has nothing to do with Martin Luther King.
00:12:28.260 This anti-racism means racism.
00:12:32.160 Yeah. Yeah. And we should stop calling it critical race theory and call and call it what it is, which is state sponsored racism.
00:12:40.220 It tells white children you are.
00:12:42.300 It has all the punitive parts of religion, tells white children you are born a racist.
00:12:47.020 You have this original sin.
00:12:48.280 You need to be you need to redeem yourself from it.
00:12:51.680 But you can never actually receive redemption.
00:12:53.720 It tells non-white children that you are born a victim.
00:12:57.580 You will live a victim.
00:12:58.580 You will die a victim.
00:13:00.080 And you will every every area of life of an inequity for you is because of your skin color.
00:13:06.160 And it was purposely be created as an inequity because your skin color.
00:13:10.620 It's horrendous.
00:13:11.600 It's it's a lie.
00:13:12.800 And the fact that, you know, we have the 1619 project being taught in school, which is completely I mean, it's not historically correct at all.
00:13:22.220 It says the American Revolution was fought over slavery.
00:13:25.300 I mean, that's just not a fact.
00:13:26.960 And that's taught in classrooms now.
00:13:31.020 Ryan, I thank you very much for what you're doing.
00:13:33.220 And I urge you, if you're listening right now, to run for school board, get involved.
00:13:39.580 It's not going to be enough just to show up.
00:13:41.980 You do have to show up at school board meetings.
00:13:44.600 Now we have to be involved, unlike we've ever been involved before.
00:13:48.820 But you have to run.
00:13:50.780 If you have it within you, you have to run.
00:13:53.300 And it's not that hard to get elected because very few people actually vote in the school board races.
00:14:02.280 And so it's go ahead.
00:14:04.540 You were going to say, no, no, I laugh because it's true.
00:14:07.640 And listen, I know most people are nervous, but most school board elections, 90 percent of our country are nonpartisan.
00:14:14.180 Very few people come out and vote for it.
00:14:16.720 And I think the PAC, the 1776 Project PAC, is there to assist people and campaign on behalf of candidates who, you know,
00:14:24.660 they can't raise even five thousand dollars to go run a campaign to make a to make a mailer or something like that.
00:14:30.740 So I'm hopeful that this PAC, if we raise enough money, especially, we'll be able to compete in every possible state that there is and many, many schools and districts.
00:14:39.600 And I hope the threat of the PAC to people who are not activists, who are kind of school board members that go along to get along
00:14:46.800 and are going along with critical race theory, wakes them up and says, oh, I don't really want to mail or come to my neighborhood to say to people that this is what I'm promoting.
00:14:55.360 Ryan, first of all, thank you for the story that you broke on the Lincoln Project co-founder.
00:15:03.460 John Weaver's apparently been getting away with this for a very long time, and I'm glad somebody had the balls to actually stand up and do the research on it and expose it.
00:15:12.580 So thank you for that.
00:15:13.460 And also this, and I urge you, if you are listening and you understand even basic understanding of critical race theory and the poison that it is to our society,
00:15:28.080 it will be our undoing if we don't stop it, and we must stop it now, please make a donation to 1776projectpac.com, 1776projectpac.com.
00:15:45.520 Ryan, thank you very much.
00:15:47.020 God bless.
00:15:47.540 Thank you, Glenn.
00:15:51.760 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck Program.
00:15:58.080 I don't want to waste any time because he is on a busy schedule.
00:16:05.740 Former U.S. ambassador to Germany, former acting director of national intelligence, and the founder now of FixCalifornia.com, which I really want to get into.
00:16:16.320 Welcome, Richard Grinnell.
00:16:17.740 How are you, sir?
00:16:19.320 Glenn, thanks for having me.
00:16:21.840 You bet.
00:16:23.040 Someday, I really just want to spend the day with you.
00:16:25.520 I mean, I'll go follow you around if that's what it takes, but I just, I have so many things.
00:16:29.760 I would enjoy it.
00:16:31.640 Okay.
00:16:32.560 So let me get, because we have such limited time, let me get to some things that are on my mind.
00:16:39.280 Let's start with the hacking.
00:16:40.960 I've never seen an administration say, well, this is a private company that is being hacked.
00:16:47.240 A, they should pay the ransom, but that's up to them.
00:16:50.140 Uh, and, uh, and it looks like they're coming from China in some of these, the, the transportation one in New York City, but the rest of them are coming from Russia.
00:17:00.800 Any chance that Putin doesn't know that this is going on?
00:17:05.680 Look, uh, let's be very clear.
00:17:10.140 All of the world leaders right now are testing the Biden administration.
00:17:14.900 These increased hacks are because they're trying to see how Biden is going to react.
00:17:21.780 They're trying to test the limits.
00:17:25.380 How far can they go before we react?
00:17:29.600 We, the United States of America.
00:17:31.100 And they knew those lines going very clearly under the Trump administration.
00:17:35.800 They knew exactly if they did something that impacted America, that there would be an immediate and bigger reaction.
00:17:47.580 And the bigger reaction is, is the key here, because what the message is sent when you put America first is we will protect our people first, and we will have overwhelming force that will come at you, whether it's sanctions, tariffs, airstrikes.
00:18:05.040 Donald Trump used every single tool that the United States government had to protect us.
00:18:13.380 Well, Joe Biden is going to go over and talk to Putin.
00:18:15.420 I can't imagine how badly that's going to go.
00:18:19.820 But, uh, is, is, are we sending, what message are we sending back to them?
00:18:25.800 And how bad does this have to become before it's an act of war?
00:18:30.700 Well, I talked before the campaign, I talked a lot about Joe Biden's global philosophy.
00:18:37.620 And he believes in consensus with, uh, the rest of the world and certainly the importance of consensus with Western governments.
00:18:48.440 Now that sounds amazing, right?
00:18:51.160 It sounds like, can't we all just hug it out and get along?
00:18:54.480 But the practical reality is, is that we have a difference of opinion, even when it comes to Western allies like Germany.
00:19:03.820 If you are going to put as the priority that the German government has to, uh, agree and compliment our positions, then you've just watered it down.
00:19:17.600 And let me give you the perfect example.
00:19:19.980 Nord Stream 2 pipeline is a pipeline that goes too far with gas and energy into Europe.
00:19:28.500 We, the United States, believe that Nord Stream 1 is okay.
00:19:34.180 It's part of the equation of having a diversified energy source.
00:19:38.500 So we don't mind Europe and Germany getting some Russian gas, but Nord Stream 2 goes too far.
00:19:47.260 By the way, the European parliament actually agrees with us, agrees with the United States.
00:19:52.500 The French agree with us.
00:19:54.140 A whole bunch of countries in Europe agree with us.
00:19:56.600 Joe Biden looked at the Germans, and I can tell you unequivocally that in their call between Chancellor Merkel and Joe Biden, the Chancellor brought up Nord Stream 2.
00:20:08.220 And Joe Biden wants to please Angela Merkel.
00:20:12.360 He wants the German government to like him.
00:20:15.520 So when they ask, hey, will you let us have Nord Stream 2, he prioritizes the compliments of Germany over the position of the United States.
00:20:27.700 And so while he's shutting down pipelines in the United States, he's allowing them to go forward because the Germans asked for it.
00:20:37.880 And he prioritizes having the Germans like him.
00:20:42.020 This is a very dangerous and slippery slope when you go to the UN, say, and you want to be liked, and you want the crowd to cheer you.
00:20:52.340 This means that you water down our policy in order to please others.
00:20:56.660 As a director of national intelligence, you oversee all of the arms of intelligence, right?
00:21:05.480 Correct.
00:21:07.040 Okay.
00:21:07.720 President Biden and his allies are saying the biggest threat, according to the intelligence that he's receiving, the biggest threat to the United States of America is white supremacy and, you know, Donald Trump supporters.
00:21:26.180 Did you ever see any intelligence that would back any of that up?
00:21:33.000 Absolutely not.
00:21:34.360 It's outrageous.
00:21:36.120 It's politicizing.
00:21:37.720 The intelligence community, it's also making us less safe.
00:21:41.900 Because if you want to pull resources and articulate a position that this is where we need to concentrate, this is the priority, then the reality is that the counterterrorism center that is run by the intelligence community will shift its resources to trying to find, seek out information
00:22:06.040 It's a point.
00:22:10.280 Now, let's be very clear. Of course, it's a problem, but it's not the top problem. It's just
00:22:18.360 like, you know, Russia is a problem for us, but China is a crisis. And when you constantly say,
00:22:25.000 look over there at Russia, look at all of these problems, you're literally giving the Beijing
00:22:32.160 line. The Chinese applaud us when we say go concentrate on the Russia crisis, because it's
00:22:40.680 not a crisis. And therefore, we take our eye off the ball. This is exactly what's happening when we
00:22:46.880 say white supremacy in America is the problem. And don't be surprised that over the last four years,
00:22:54.480 how the Democrats have told us that our system, you know, when they say that it's called systemic
00:23:01.820 racism, what they mean is that the system of the United States government, local, state and federal
00:23:08.580 government, the system supports racism. When they say systemic, you know, racism, that what they mean
00:23:19.400 is, is that our system promotes racist policies. That is not only wrong, it's dangerous, because now
00:23:29.140 what we're finding is that the Russians and the Chinese are calling us racists and a systemic racist
00:23:38.960 problem. So the racism, sexism, homophobia mantra from the Democrats. I don't know why people are now
00:23:46.780 surprised that the Chinese come to Alaska and negotiate with us and then lecture us on being a racist
00:23:52.940 society. Now we've seen foreign minister, Sergey Lavrov, the Russian foreign minister, deliver the same
00:24:00.300 line. The Russians are now telling us, be prepared that we are now on the active plane of being on the
00:24:12.280 offense, pointing out all of your problems in America. This undercuts our moral authority. And lastly,
00:24:19.660 let me finish, Glenn, it's outrageous that our U.S. ambassador to the U.N. would go to the United
00:24:28.320 Nations and from the podium where there's 193 plus, you know, countries and entities in that room
00:24:38.400 and say that we are systemically racist. That is damaging our moral authority. And it's
00:24:49.640 now being thrown in our face. And I don't think the Biden administration is going to be able to ever
00:24:54.960 have the moral upper hand to tell countries like Iran or the epidemic in the Arab world of throwing
00:25:06.520 gay people off buildings or denying women basic rights or denying Christians the ability to just,
00:25:14.460 you know, gather and worship. I am so offended today that the Biden administration is saying that
00:25:25.140 they're going to fly gay pride flags for the first time at embassies and all around the world, except
00:25:31.400 for Indonesia, except for the Middle East, anywhere where it counts. It matters.
00:25:39.140 They're not that. I mean, yeah, it matters there. They're killing homosexuals there and they're not
00:25:45.280 going to they're not going to say anything. What moral authority do we have at all?
00:25:50.620 Yeah. By the way, this whole rainbow flag thing is ridiculous. Let's let's be honest. It doesn't do
00:25:59.760 anything. It's like wearing a red ribbon at the Hollywood Awards and pretending like you've done
00:26:06.060 something for AIDS research. It's phony. It's typical. You know, what we did in the Trump administration
00:26:15.540 was go to countries that criminalize homosexuality and ask them to change their policies.
00:26:23.140 This is the substantive work that has to be done. The whole idea of a rainbow flag and all of that is
00:26:30.480 is ridiculous. It's pandering. Look, there's a meme going around right now, which I think
00:26:37.620 you should post. It's incredibly powerful. It's all of the corporate America, all the CEOs in
00:26:44.200 America, corporations that have changed their logo for the month of June into colorful pride logos like
00:26:53.100 BMW or Cisco, right? They don't Disney Mercedes. Yeah, right. They don't do it outside of the United
00:27:02.340 States. So while they're pounding their chest in WeHo and Chelsea, they're not doing it in Ramallah
00:27:10.580 and Riyadh. It's really outrageous that where it matters to take a stand. They're not taking a stand,
00:27:19.840 but they're trying to pretend like they are in America. And Americans keep falling for it. We've
00:27:26.100 got to be able to decipher between phony and real. And we're not doing a very good job right now because
00:27:34.440 we don't have the help of the media. So we only have a couple minutes left. And I want to ask you,
00:27:40.100 first of all, the intelligence arm of the post office, when did that happen? Did you know? Did you
00:27:47.580 know about it? I mean, it's mail fraud. Go ahead. And it's mail fraud. It's, you know, a lot of people
00:27:57.260 have been using the postal service to, to push, you know, fake and phony and even terrorist type
00:28:04.900 support mechanism. So that's real. But, you know, to be honest, it should not be. And if I had more
00:28:11.940 time at DNI, I would have changed this. It should not be based within the postal service. You know,
00:28:20.220 and technically it's, it's not, they'll tell you that the intelligence gathering is an arm that just
00:28:27.580 works with the post office. But the reality is, is that after 9-11, we realized that our intelligence
00:28:36.320 agencies were getting the pieces of problems, but not communicating and linking those together.
00:28:44.300 And so I think it's a huge mistake to actually create another bureaucracy because the bureaucracies
00:28:52.120 aren't talking to each other. And that's what we did with the DNI. When we created the office of the
00:28:59.460 director of national intelligence, in theory, it was a coordinating body. And it was to be a hundred or
00:29:05.320 two hundred people coordinating. Now it's ballooned to 1800 people plus. Oh my gosh. It's a competing
00:29:14.340 body. It competes with the other agencies and there's overlap. I tried, I went in and removed
00:29:21.680 350 people. And of course, Politico and all of the Washington DC media attacked nonstop that I was
00:29:30.540 dismissive of, uh, dismissive of counterterrorism. But the reality is, is that we have intelligence
00:29:35.960 agencies. And I think this is what you're getting at that overlap and do things that already others
00:29:41.940 are doing. And so it's not smart because our tax dollars are being wasted and we're not able to do
00:29:49.420 as much because we're spending, uh, double money on the same problem. And sometimes it's the waste,
00:29:57.600 uh, total waste. Well, I, I, I bring it up Richard, because that's the one that is saying that, uh,
00:30:03.460 white supremacy is the biggest, you know, they're the ones issuing the warnings, um, uh, that, uh,
00:30:09.720 Biden, uh, in Homeland Security are using, uh, some information from the post office, which I find is
00:30:16.040 amazing. Richard, honestly, I wish you were running for a governor of, uh, of California, but I guess
00:30:21.200 that's, that's, that's out of the picture. Here is the reality, Glenn. I keep saying that, um, I care
00:30:30.500 about the long-term future of California and, and that is, that is the truth. And so I want to do the
00:30:39.500 things that we can do in California that fix the problem. I am not convinced that the current state
00:30:48.800 of California politics of having a recall and getting, uh, somebody in, I would say in November
00:30:58.360 is, is when the Democrats are thinking of having an election, um, is going to fix the problem. And I,
00:31:05.080 and I think we've got an electorate right now that is incredibly frustrated and to tell them that the
00:31:12.060 only thing that we have to do is just send a temporary governor to Sacramento who would go up
00:31:20.820 to Sacramento and face a super majority in the Senate against him or her and a super majority
00:31:27.980 in the assembly against him or her. You, you could veto every single bill and the next day get overridden.
00:31:33.940 And so what I am watching before I make any decision is what are the Democrats going to do with this
00:31:41.380 frustrated electorate? What they have said they're going to do is they are pushing, uh, a decision out to
00:31:48.860 about September on when and if to do the recall. Now we have enough signatures on the recall, but the, if
00:31:57.160 part is the Democrats control the state, they control the, the, the secretary of state, the governor's
00:32:03.420 office, every single statewide office, Christine Pelosi, Nancy Pelosi's daughter, a couple of months
00:32:11.020 ago did an interview, uh, with a reporter and said, basically she said, don't be stupid about this
00:32:19.700 recall. The Democrats know exactly what's at stake. And if Gavin is underwater, he will be forced to
00:32:26.180 resign. We're not going to go through this. We're not going to have a recall. It's too risky. Now the
00:32:34.340 Gavin Newsom people, the very next day started leaking to reporters that Diane Feinstein was getting old
00:32:44.900 and, uh, she said that she would leave in 2022, but she may resign early. And therefore, if she resigns, Gavin
00:32:56.880 would appoint himself. And then again, Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. Richard Grinnell, we'll, we gotta, I'm sorry
00:33:07.640 we're out of time. Uh, we'll have you on again. It is always a pleasure to talk to Richard Grinnell.
00:33:13.200 This is the best of the Glenn Beck program.
00:33:24.620 The American economy is in trouble. Uh, I believe we are going to all of us, uh, be in for about a 40%
00:33:32.460 haircut when they changed the dollar to a digital dollar. It is coming. I just don't know when
00:33:38.400 inflation is coming. I just don't know when, but we're printing more and more money fuel and wood
00:33:44.400 skyrocketing. Most people's jobs won't keep up with inflation. At some point, food prices are rising
00:33:50.160 fast. Taxes are going up. Whether you want to admit it or not, we are facing tough times. Please take

00:34:22.560 with Glenn.com prepare with Glenn.com. I don't know if you've been following what's happening in
00:34:26.980 Loudoun County, the school board there. Loudoun County is in Virginia. It's northern part of
00:34:32.660 Virginia, part of the Washington DC metro. It played an essential role in the founding of our
00:34:40.840 nation. George Washington called it the breadbasket of the revolution because of the farmers. At the
00:34:46.100 time, it was the largest county. Now it's the third largest county, but it has gone crazy with
00:34:52.960 critical race theory. So much so that they have a Facebook group, the people who are on the side of
00:35:02.340 critical race theory. There is a Facebook page that is trying to dox first the parents. Now they're
00:35:08.800 starting to dox the kids that are part of families that are against critical race theory. And the last I
00:35:16.560 read, one of the county attorneys, I think the top county attorney for Loudoun County was on that
00:35:25.240 Facebook website saying, keep doing this, you're doing exactly the right thing. It's crazy what's
00:35:32.480 happening. One of the people, one of the families that are suing the county now is a mom. Patty
00:35:43.040 Heldago Menders is on the phone with us now. Patty, welcome to the program.
00:35:48.980 Hi, Glenn. Thank you for having me.
00:35:52.880 It is, the world is upside down in Loudoun County, isn't it?
00:35:57.900 Yes, it is. I've lived here for almost 23 years and two of my sons have gone through the Loudoun
00:36:04.200 County school system with no problems. Math, science, English was taught kind of the way we expected.
00:36:11.680 You know, I moved to this area specifically for the school system 23 years ago. And now with my
00:36:17.400 last son, who's a sophomore in high school, we are just finding so much upside down
00:36:24.360 indoctrination.
00:36:27.760 What did you, what have you found?
00:36:30.920 So I'll be honest, I'm the president of the Loudoun County Republican Women's Club.
00:36:36.420 And many of my club members feel trust that they can trust me, whether it's teachers or parents,
00:36:43.980 they send me screenshots of what the teachers, some teachers are teaching. And one in particular was a
00:36:51.780 high school English senior class. And the teacher had a screen with a white girl and a black girl,
00:37:01.380 and kept bullying this student to say, what do you see? What do you see? And the kid is like,
00:37:08.060 I only see two people chilling. Yes. So that was uncovered because my club members sent that to me.
00:37:14.080 And that opened my eyes to what's happening. Then in the next couple of days, I get my club members
00:37:20.200 sending me screenshots that my name was blacklisted in that anti-racist Facebook page.
00:37:27.340 And that opened my eyes to how crazy they're thinking that we as parents are the opposition.
00:37:37.400 I mean, there were six school board members in that anti-racist Facebook page. Yes,
00:37:43.120 the Commonwealth attorney, Buda Buberidge, was in that group as well. Even the principal of my son's
00:37:49.060 high school. Now, whether they knew or not, they let this mob blacklist us. And they listed my first
00:37:57.040 and last name, they listed my name of my husband, where my son goes to high school, and three
00:38:03.080 pictures of me. Glenn, they called me a racist. And the irony in that is my parents escaped from
00:38:10.640 communist Cuba. I know darn well what socialism looks like, because they taught me. And they taught
00:38:17.220 me to appreciate the freedoms that we've been given here in the US. So when they called me a racist,
00:38:22.500 I got mad. And I went to the school board meeting, we only allowed two public comments sessions a
00:38:30.080 month. And I told them to their face how disappointed school board that you let this mob go after your
00:38:37.520 constituents, the parents of the students that you're supposed to represent and take care of our
00:38:43.360 children. Your county attorney, it didn't stop. I think it got worse if I'm reading things right.
00:38:51.760 Because now they were saying on that Facebook page, we've got to find out more about these kids
00:38:59.140 and send us anything you have on any of the kids. So they're doxing the kids. And then your county
00:39:06.480 attorney joined in and said, this is the right thing to do. This is this is insane that it's happening
00:39:13.740 in America. They we were able to FOIA and find out that this these school board members and wanted to
00:39:22.620 silence the opposition. They want it's a war against the parents that do not believe in this
00:39:29.520 indoctrination. They say it's not critical race theory. They say they're not teaching that. But you
00:39:35.640 know what they use other words, they use equity, culturally responsive training. And yes, they
00:39:42.600 are. They are doxing our children. You know, it also goes to the kids that go. So we had an
00:39:51.140 opportunity to either do in person, or distance learning. And majority of the conservative families
00:39:57.980 did send their children to in person. So I feel like that's another avenue where they're able to see
00:40:04.360 who these families are that oppose critical race theory in our school.
00:40:10.400 Now, it's my understanding that if your son or daughter, you either agree or you be quiet.
00:40:18.080 And if you're not quiet, you can be excluded from school leadership programs reported for
00:40:23.840 disciplinary action. Is that true? Yes, they implemented two. They're calling it student equity ambassadors.
00:40:33.600 And then there's a bias reporting. And the bias reporting allows students anonymously to list
00:40:42.540 eight different reasons why they're reporting this individual, and it could be racial slurs or whatever.
00:40:48.560 And you can anonymously say that this kid did this on this day. Then it goes to the equity committee,
00:40:56.960 and they have to investigate. And then the student equity ambassadors can only be a part of the
00:41:04.680 program if they're allies to this CRT training. So it's very scary for, you know, this is an awkward
00:41:14.620 age to begin with, you know, K through 12. Kids are still learning. They're still trying to figure out
00:41:20.440 who they are. But for them to push this political indoctrination on our children to be social justice
00:41:27.520 warriors, that's when you're getting a lot of parents that are coming to the school board meetings and
00:41:33.600 saying, be honest with us, what are you doing to our children?
00:41:38.180 And I don't think I think a lot of cities, school boards, teachers, schools are not being honest.
00:41:45.640 We've seen this around the country where they pull it out and the teachers just continue to say,
00:41:50.600 we'll do it anyway. We'll just rename it. You are working with friends of ours,
00:41:55.620 libertyjusticecenter.org, and they are they're working with you on this lawsuit. What are you suing for?
00:42:04.360 So my friend Scott Mineo, who runs Parents Against Critical Theory, was looking for other
00:42:10.940 Loudon parents, and he introduced me to Liberty Justice Center. And we are suing them for our
00:42:19.760 children's and our right to freedom of speech based on this equity ambassador program and the bias
00:42:26.280 reporting.
00:42:30.040 And Liberty Justice Center thinks it's a pretty good case. I mean, if they take your case,
00:42:34.820 that's a pretty good sign that they think they can win it. What does it mean if you win?
00:42:40.940 That's a good question. I think we could fundamentally end the equity ambassador program.
00:42:49.980 You know, they want this lawsuit to restore our free speech and show that it violates it and that
00:42:57.960 it violates equality. You know, they don't use the word equality. They use the word equity.
00:43:03.720 Night and day different. Patty, when you are out and about, do you find people are against you or for
00:43:17.940 you? Or do you find a lot of people coming up and whispering? I'm with you. I just keep going.
00:43:24.340 What do you find?
00:43:25.020 There's a lot of whispers.
00:43:25.580 Whispers. Yeah. So there's a lot of whispers.
00:43:28.320 Oh my gosh. Cowards. Cowards.
00:43:29.520 Yeah. I'll be honest. I've had to really educate and empower a lot of people to move forward. And I
00:43:39.100 ran a gala and Sebastian Gorka was there and he said, we've got to get more people like Patty,
00:43:46.040 who is brave, to come out. You know, we can't do this alone. And I've been, since I've been
00:43:52.220 filing this lawsuit, a lot of anonymous people, not anonymous, but strangers have come to me
00:43:58.660 and saying, you're doing a great job. And to be honest, I just need them on board with me. I need
00:44:03.920 them to come to the school board meetings with me. I need them to write letters to the editor. I need
00:44:10.200 them to, you know, write letters to the superintendent to say, this is unacceptable. You know, I need more
00:44:18.160 people in the battle with me. I think people are afraid that if you lose, they are going to be outed and
00:44:27.380 they'll be next on the chopping block, which if they don't stand, they will be. I mean, I've, I've said
00:44:34.400 this for years. One courage is contagious. Um, but two, uh, if you don't fight now, this is the easy part of
00:44:41.700 this fight. It is only going to get harder from here. If we don't stand up, if you don't stand up
00:44:47.060 now, you're not going to stand up. You will be ending up on the wrong side. Well, one thing we're
00:44:53.980 doing that a lot of parents and residents are participating is we're recalling six of the
00:45:00.320 school board members that were in that anti-racist Facebook page. So we do have recall efforts, uh,
00:45:07.100 that are happening and people are coming out of the woodwork to sign those, um, as club president,
00:45:12.420 I've got a lot of events and people are going, um, my, my club is actually the largest Republican
00:45:19.160 women's club in the state of Virginia because of all this liberal myths in the last two years that
00:45:25.020 we've been in covering. So I think people are slowly coming up. They're tired of this cancel
00:45:31.100 culture. They're tired of this wokeness. Um, you know, it really surprised us, but the school board
00:45:37.720 canceled Dr. Seuss. They didn't want his racist books to be a part of read across America program,
00:45:45.360 but they had been doing for years. Um, so it's just, you know, we found out that the school board
00:45:52.960 wants a war with the parents and I just don't understand it, you know? Yeah, I have, uh, I've watched
00:46:00.520 it around the country several times and, uh, the, uh, many of the teachers and the school boards
00:46:06.420 are, they do look at your children like it's their right and their children and that you are a nuisance,
00:46:14.440 uh, in all of this. They know what's right. The arrogance is off the charts. Hopefully that will
00:46:19.960 be their undoing. Patty, thank you so much. Is there anything that you need or that the audience can do?
00:46:25.620 I guess contact Liberty Justice Center. If they want to get involved, um, uh, contact fight for
00:46:34.640 schools, which is an organization that's doing the recall and then parents against critical theory
