00:00:00.000 Just got a note in. Welcome to the podcast. Before we start, just got a note in from somebody on
00:00:04.380 Capitol Hill. Pelosi shock troops. They are arrogant and assured. They have been planning
00:00:10.820 transitions for weeks. There is no way in their minds that Biden doesn't win this thing, which is
00:00:16.680 scary. They will be leading the charge on claiming fraud and suppression. We know that they're
00:00:22.580 building a fence around the White House, an unscalable fence around the White House. In my
00:00:29.720 entire life, I lived in the 60s. I was little, but I lived in the 60s. I've never seen a fence
00:00:37.160 that was non-scalable put around the White House. We are entering dangerous times and beyond the
00:00:47.060 election. That's where we begin our podcast today with a warning that is, I believe, absolutely
00:00:54.120 accurate. It was a warning given to the president by one of the leaders of the Catholic Church,
00:01:00.980 the one that says that they are fighting people like the Pope inside the Catholic Church. It's
00:01:07.180 an amazing study. We also looked at all of the polling numbers. Yeah, we went to kind of a deep
00:01:12.540 dive on all of the different battleground states as well as all the Senate races. And the end game
00:01:20.340 is, I mean, who knows where this thing's going to turn out, but we are going to have a pretty
00:01:25.680 dramatic night on Tuesday. And by the way, we have election coverage on Blaze TV. It's going to be a
00:01:30.000 lot different than MSNBC or CNN or CBS or ABC. You're going to want to see blazetv.com slash Glenn.
00:01:36.820 The promo code is Glenn. He gets 30 bucks off. That's only good for one more day, just like our
00:01:42.400 country. Only good for one more day. Don't miss it. Oh, and by the way, we have a great coverage.
00:01:49.040 Speaking of that, tomorrow, George Washington, a coffin, a dancing Trump, you name it. We've got it.
00:01:57.760 Plus, all of the big names going to be on our coverage tomorrow. You don't want to miss it.
00:02:06.820 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck program.
00:02:16.780 Senior advisor for the Trump 2020 campaign is Mercedes Schlapp. Hello, Mercedes. How are you?
00:02:22.900 And it's fun. It's going to be on your show. Yeah, it's good. Good to have you on.
00:02:29.140 There's a documentary out that has been out now for a couple of weeks called The Trump I Know.
00:02:34.380 And it's really about the the look into the White House with the women that work in the White House and
00:02:44.320 work around Donald Trump. Yeah. So it's a it's a great documentary. We got to work closely with Joe
00:02:50.260 Knopp, who produced it and really had the vision for it. And it's talking about the women not only at
00:02:57.060 the White House, but at the campaign and even his winery here in Virginia. And it and it was just to
00:03:02.840 show this other side of the president, the fact of the women who have seen the president firsthand
00:03:08.200 really know how he is as a leader, how he thinks. And, you know, it's interesting because we all come
00:03:14.660 up with the same conclusion, which is that not only is he a strong leader, but he's a compassionate
00:03:19.480 person, someone who loves this country, someone who has a great sense of humor. You mentioned that
00:03:24.060 earlier and and someone who really understands what it what it is to solve very complicated
00:03:31.440 problems, being creative when it comes to how we solve big issues, whether it be, you know,
00:03:37.840 conflict in the Middle East, whether it be tackling trade deals with China and other nations. And so
00:03:44.240 that is the president just doesn't think like a politician. And you know this because you know a lot
00:03:50.140 of these political types. This is not how the president functions. He will fight whoever he
00:03:56.080 needs to fight, but he'll also work with whoever will want to come and work with him, whether it
00:04:00.160 be a Democrat or Republican to get things done. And I think that his record has shown that he's been
00:04:04.960 incredibly productive in the last 47 months. Compare that to Joe Biden, who literally has been a career
00:04:11.720 politician, the ultimate insider for 47 years, who now we know is not only the politician,
00:04:18.520 but a corrupt one as we've seen. You know, I was really struck by during the GOP convention
00:04:26.440 in really watching that. I thought it was brilliantly done. They they just talked to people
00:04:32.840 who had normal people who had experience meeting him, being around him, watching him, working with him.
00:04:41.680 And it was just not the scene you see anywhere in media.
00:04:48.920 No, and that's, you know, I always say this to whenever I meet like a suburban mom who's on the
00:04:53.840 fence, like, I don't like the guy's tweets. I don't know. And I'm like, I wish you all would get a
00:04:58.980 glimpse of how he is in person. He is so warm and so personable. And he really is someone who just
00:05:06.940 connects with pretty much everyone he meets. And it's something that we, you know, I've seen him
00:05:12.080 in those moments of times when he'll call a family who's lost a loved one in the military. Or for
00:05:18.160 example, when there was a shooting in Parkland, Florida, where he met with Andrew Pollack and his
00:05:22.620 family when their daughter Meadows was tragically killed. And so and you see those moments where he
00:05:31.160 really is like, what can I do to help you? What can we do to solve this problem? And I think you
00:05:35.900 take the case of, for example, the members of the families of military officers who died in on in
00:05:42.920 combat, or and he's he always would say he goes, we got to end these endless wars, like we got to
00:05:49.020 bring our troops back home. And, and so his goal is always to just keep trying to figure out how he can
00:05:55.640 literally make people's lives better. And I just very much respect that. I mean, I've known politicians
00:06:01.720 for a lot of time that it's a lot of talk, no action, or they're too scared, they're not bold enough. And the
00:06:07.460 one thing about President Trump is, is he's bold, he says is he's he has a promise he's made, he's going to
00:06:12.300 keep it. And that's what he's done time and time again. And it's why he's not a politician. It's why he's the
00:06:17.460 ultimate outsider. And it's why the American people, you see them coming out in 1000s and 1000s in all these 0.55
00:06:22.860 different cities, because they feel like they're that he has their voice. He's the people's president. He is
00:06:28.740 not aligned with the special interests or the big media companies that are trying to silence us,
00:06:34.940 try to shut us down. And you know, this Glenn better than anyone else. How long has the conservative
00:06:39.400 movement, they bullied us around tried to keep us quiet, tried to minimize us and try to make us feel
00:06:44.900 guilty for loving this country. And that's why President Trump has been that voice, pushing backs
00:06:50.700 against these liberals of the meat, liberals from the media liberal from the social media companies who
00:06:56.080 are now trying to censor everything that we say and do. I will tell you that I have I thought about
00:07:02.620 this this weekend, I don't know of any other person that is capable, even capable, let alone willing to
00:07:11.220 do it. Take the shots that he has taken, and really be the the last line of defense for our way of life.
00:07:23.440 I don't know of anyone else that could have pulled it off and lasted this long, and is still getting
00:07:29.240 up every day going bring it on. I mean, he really is the last line of defense. He really is. And I
00:07:36.320 mean, just the mere fact that he goes, did five events yesterday, five rallies today. I mean, he has
00:07:44.180 endless energy. And not only that, to your point, he just keeps punching and punching back. He won't let
00:07:50.700 the liberal media win. He won't let the liberal media or these crazy Democrats take him down.
00:07:56.440 They've tried everything from Russian hoax, to impeachment to everything. And this man has been
00:08:02.480 able to survive it all. And it's because not only does he have the stamina, but he is just determined,
00:08:08.440 determined to keep making the case for the American people and keep pushing a really what I would say is
00:08:14.820 such a strong agenda. I mean, you're talking about building an incredibly strong economy, which he did.
00:08:20.560 He did it under his watch. He's fighting against COVID, combating COVID. I mean, we're dealing with
00:08:26.120 a global pandemic. And this man is saying, we are not going to shut down America. We're not going to
00:08:30.540 lock down America like Joe Biden is proposing. We got to reopen our economy safely. We got to reopen
00:08:35.560 our schools safely. The impact that this has had on just small businesses alone, and our families
00:08:41.240 has been tremendous. And we got to find a way to deal with this virus in addition to being able to
00:08:47.100 live our lives and do it in a safe and responsible way. And I just think that the constant moralizing
00:08:53.240 coming from CNN and all these places on how we have to live our lives. I just was reading Governor
00:08:58.760 the governor of California putting Thanksgiving restrictions. You can't sing. You can't chant.
00:09:05.440 You can't have more than three household present. I think it's two, isn't it?
00:09:12.080 The party's no longer. Now they're saying three. Party's no longer than two hours. Guests must stay
00:09:17.800 outside. What is this? This is not America. You cannot make us feel that we have to live in fear.
00:09:25.040 We're not going to do it. And I just think that there has to, the American people have to reject this
00:09:29.960 nanny state. They need to reject these liberal governors who are trying to dictate how we live. 1.00
00:09:34.520 And let us make our own decisions. I mean, that's really the end of it.
00:09:39.800 I was listening to New York Times The Daily, and I do it so others don't have to. And I'm listening
00:09:49.340 to this, and they're talking about Donald Trump, and what do we do if he just refuses to accept
00:09:55.900 that Biden wins? They never once asked, well, wait a minute, you know, Biden and Clinton,
00:10:04.300 and the Transition Integrity Project. You all stated there's no way you're going to concede.
00:10:12.980 You won't make that phone call if Donald Trump, it is so agonizing to watch the truth be so distorted
00:10:22.220 and turned around. I don't know how the president has not just snapped. How has he kept his cool with
00:10:32.000 knowing the truth, knowing what we all know now, and always getting the blame for things? Always.
00:10:41.000 Yes. Well, I mean, I just think right now he's razor focused on talking directly to the American
00:10:46.420 people about what his agenda is as we move forward into the next four years. And he's not going to be
00:10:51.760 defeated. Like, he is determined to win this election. We know that the momentum is clearly,
00:10:57.420 clearly on our side. We're seeing the trends turn in our favor. And what I think is like,
00:11:02.400 it doesn't, I don't know about you, but doesn't it feel a bit like a repeat of 2016 when the polls
00:11:07.520 were like, he's never, President Trump won't win. He won't be able to pull it off. All the polls are
00:11:13.500 saying Joe Biden, you're seeing the media writing all these stories about what Joe Biden presidency is
00:11:18.640 going to look like. And literally, I'm like going, this is like a Groundhog Day. It's like a repeat of
00:11:23.060 2016. And so I think that the, you know, it's like, we kind of want to see, see how the media
00:11:29.680 continues to go down, build this narrative, try to demoralize our voters. But our voters right now
00:11:35.000 are more excited than they've ever been in 2016. I mean, we are finding people and I've traveled across
00:11:41.280 these battleground states, people coming up to us saying, I've never voted before. I'm going to vote
00:11:45.980 for the first time. I'm 50 years old. And yes, I'm voting for Donald Trump, because he stands for what
00:11:52.200 we believe in. And this is about really protecting American values, American values of freedom, of
00:11:59.860 faith, of country, of love of this nation. And for Americans, they don't want that to go away.
00:12:06.780 They don't want to make it so that America is bad. And that America is, as Joe Biden said,
00:12:11.700 simply an idea that we don't live up to. We live up to the American ideas every single day
00:12:17.560 in this country. And so I just think that they don't want the doom and gloom of Joe Biden,
00:12:22.480 the dark winter of Joe Biden. I will tell you that I think that also, I mean,
00:12:27.820 when Ronald Reagan was in office, and I felt this about Ronald Reagan from the beginning,
00:12:31.900 that he may be proud to be an American because he was fighting for us against Russia and the Soviet 0.57
00:12:39.300 Union. And he was just so great on that stage as a leader of the free world. Donald Trump is the
00:12:48.420 first president where I've ever felt that guy is not just fighting for our way of life. He's actually
00:12:56.520 fighting for me. And I've never felt that from a president before where he is fighting for my right
00:13:06.880 and my voice. And that's an incredible accomplishment.
00:13:13.420 Yeah, and I think that's what millions of Americans feel. They feel this special connection
00:13:19.200 to this president. They feel that he's not just going to Washington to get lost in the Washington
00:13:26.780 language of just sitting in. That's not the president. The president's very unique in his nature.
00:13:33.100 And he is the one that came into Washington, broke the China, you know, got tough on China,
00:13:40.400 speaking of which, and really confronted the Democrats in a lot of ways when it came to all
00:13:45.200 these different issues. And, you know, one of the things that always bothered the president,
00:13:48.500 I remember when we were, when I was at the White House, that whenever Nancy Pelosi would come over
00:13:54.140 and then she would go and they would have kind of a pretty okay meeting. And then she'd go out and
00:13:58.700 bash the president or she would bash the president before going to meet the president. 1.00
00:14:03.100 President thought that was like the most unacceptable thing to do. You don't try to bash the president
00:14:07.480 first and then try to ask for a meeting in the White House. That just doesn't work. That's just
00:14:12.360 not even courteous. And so I think he didn't like that. I mean, it really was something that he was
00:14:17.120 like, this is not, this, this can't be with Nancy. And it just showed the hypocrisy of these Democrats. 0.94
00:14:21.980 They were so obsessed with the impeachment process. They still went through with it. Although at the end of
00:14:27.280 the day, they refused to even barely mention about Joe Biden, knowing, knowing about these foreign 0.90
00:14:33.860 dealings. We have the Hunter's ex-partner, Tony Bobulinski, who's gone out, shown evidence,
00:14:41.880 is working with the FBI. Yet you have this cover up scheme happening with big social media companies.
00:14:48.540 You're talking about also the liberal media. No one wants to touch it. Yet we know that they won't
00:14:53.900 even ask the tough questions to Joe Biden. So Joe Biden has got a path throughout this whole
00:15:00.220 campaign process where they're really focused on just trying to get rid of the president.
00:15:05.500 Mercedes, thank you so much. The website where you can see this documentary and, you know,
00:15:11.100 if you know somebody who's on a fence, if you know a woman who's like, I just don't like the way, 1.00
00:15:15.800 send them to thetrumpiknow.com. Thetrumpiknow.com. It chronicles the women in the White House and the 0.96
00:15:23.120 women around Donald Trump. And I think women will be proud of the record that he has in the White
00:15:33.420 House. Thank you so much. I appreciate it. Thank you so much, Glenn. You bet. Thetrumpiknow.com.
00:15:38.620 That was Mercedes Schlapp. She's senior advisor of the 2020 campaign. 0.69
00:15:43.040 This is the best of the Glenn Beck Program.
00:15:51.340 So the editorial board of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette came out and said he's unpresidential.
00:15:56.380 He's crude and unkind. He's not a good man. These things and much worse are commonly said
00:16:01.500 about President Donald Trump. His personality totally clips his record. So we seemingly have
00:16:07.220 him on the dunk tank ready for a very cold bath. Let's play dump the lout. But is this what it's
00:16:13.000 really about? Isn't the real question whether he has been taking the economy and the country
00:16:20.240 in the right direction for these last four years? Can we separate the man from the record?
00:16:25.900 We share embarrassment of millions of Americans who are disturbed by the president's
00:16:30.240 unpresidential manners and character, his rudeness and put downs and bragging and bending the truth.
00:16:35.460 None of it can be justified. The president's behavior has almost diminished his presidency
00:16:39.880 and the presidency. Most Americans want a president who make them proud.
00:16:44.620 We, too, prefer the first class temperament and demeanor of Winston Churchill.
00:16:48.620 I got it. I got to tell you, Winston Churchill was no saint. Winston Churchill was a foul mouth.
00:16:55.460 He liked his drinks. He was drunk almost all the time. He was no saint. I mean, no, he's not a
00:17:03.480 great example. He's not a great example. He's not. Anyway, but let's look at the Trump record under
00:17:09.980 Donald Trump. The economy pre covid boomed no time like since the 1950s. Look at your 401k over the
00:17:16.120 last three years. Unemployment for black Americans is lower than it's ever been under any president of
00:17:22.060 either party. Under Mr. Trump, our trade relations have vastly improved. Our trade deals have been
00:17:27.660 rewritten. Thanks to him. Middle America is on the map again. And the appellation and hourly worker
00:17:32.900 has some hope. Has Mr. Trump done enough for these struggling fellow citizens? No, but he is at least
00:17:38.400 to recognize them. Maybe he wasn't articulate, but he recognized their pain. No one has ever asked the
00:17:44.860 American people or the people in flyover country if they wanted to send their jobs abroad until Mr. Trump.
00:17:50.920 He has moved the debate in both parties from free trade, totally unfettered to managed or fair
00:17:56.580 trade. He has put America first, just as he said he would. He also kept his promise to appoint
00:18:01.960 originalists to the Supreme Court of the United States. His third appointment, Amy Coney Barrett,
00:18:07.000 is the best of all. Blah, blah, blah. Finally, let's talk about one of the most concerns,
00:18:11.380 the most important concerns in this region, energy. Under Mr. Trump, the United States achieved
00:18:17.600 energy independence for the first time in the lifetimes of most of us. It's an incredible
00:18:24.080 accomplishment that nobody ever talks about. Where would Western Pennsylvania be without the
00:18:29.700 Shell petrochemical complex? Donald Trump is not Churchill, to be sure, but he gets things done.
00:18:36.700 He's not a unifier. He often acts like the president of his base, not the whole country.
00:18:41.560 He's done nothing to lessen our divisions and has, in fact, often deepened them. The convictions
00:18:46.480 and intellect of all Americans should be respected by all Americans, especially the president.
00:18:51.020 Has Mr. Trump handled the pandemic perfectly? No, but no one masters the pandemic. Mr. Biden is too
00:18:59.820 old for the job and too fragile, and there's a very good chance he will not make it through the term.
00:19:05.540 Mr. Trump, also too old, but seemingly robust. But in Mike Pence, we have a vice president ready to
00:19:12.020 take over if need be. He's a safe pair of hands. Kamala Harris gives no evidence of being ready to
00:19:18.800 be president of the United States. I think this is amazing, but what does it actually mean to people
00:19:25.100 in Pennsylvania? Let's go to Selena Zito. Hello, Selena. How are you? Hey, Glenn. How are you this morning?
00:19:32.000 Very good. Now, I know you worked for the Trib, which was the more conservative paper in Pittsburgh.
00:19:38.340 Right. So, this is the Post-Gazette. Does this make a difference to anybody?
00:19:45.340 Yeah, actually, it does. You know, in fairness, two years ago, editorial support from a newspaper
00:19:52.800 had much more weight. Having said that, in an election, in a state...
00:19:58.540 Hold on, hold on, hold on. You're in a... I mean, I don't know if you're actually doing the Campbell
00:20:03.400 can of soup thing. But... Connection sounds a little... Yeah, like it's coming over a string.
00:20:10.800 So, if you're... If you can get by a window or something, but go ahead.
00:20:14.660 Is this better? That's much better.
00:20:17.060 I was actually by a window, which is odd. Wow. Okay. All right.
00:20:20.540 So, so, so, 10, 20, 20 years ago, an editorial board endorsement of a presidential candidate
00:20:28.160 carried much more weight. We were less fractured 20 years ago, and I don't just mean politically.
00:20:34.360 We also had less choices. We had less television shows. We had less newspapers. We had less internet,
00:20:41.380 et cetera. So, that was a, that was a unifier, something to consider. Having said that, this
00:20:49.220 editorial in support for the president, no, it was not only written incredibly well and very vividly,
00:20:58.980 and didn't sort of gloss over any of the president's frailties, but it also underscored robustly his
00:21:08.240 accomplishments. But most importantly, what it did, and this is the thing people will miss,
00:21:15.160 is that it gave permission for the voter who was unsure, or the voter who felt the peer pressure
00:21:24.980 not to, or the voter who spent, you know, isn't as invested in social media and cable to make that
00:21:36.160 decision. It gave them permission to say, you know what, it's okay. It actually is okay. They
00:21:43.140 recognized his failures. They underlined his accomplishments. The accomplishments for me
00:21:48.960 is more important than his failures. See, people tend to think, in particular people who don't spend
00:21:56.200 any time in this state, or any, you know, anywhere in, well, you know, flyover country,
00:22:01.200 they fail to recognize that people don't put a team jersey on every morning, and that's how they
00:22:07.460 conduct their politics. People vote because of their community. They don't vote because of an
00:22:13.280 ideology. Yes, there is a portion of them that do that, but for the most part, people look around
00:22:18.460 at their neighborhood, they look around at their town, they look around at their family, and they
00:22:23.400 make their vote, their choice that way. Tell me, Nate Silver from 538 put a caveat on his prediction
00:22:32.240 in Pennsylvania because he saw the size of the crowds in Pennsylvania this weekend. What's
00:22:42.440 happening on the ground? What does your gut say, Selena? So, I'm sort of insulted that he's like,
00:22:50.500 oh, look, there's crowds. Maybe we should change this. We can't predict elections by data only
00:22:58.380 because data only gives us what people are willing to give to the scientists, the data collectors.
00:23:06.380 There has been a contradiction between interviews and experiences and cultural cues that have put
00:23:15.620 the polling data, you know, at risk. And, you know, what do I mean by cultural cues? You know,
00:23:24.320 208,000 new Republican voters, 246,000 brand new gun owners since this summer. You know,
00:23:35.700 entertainment and sports products like the Steelers and the Eagles, although I don't pay attention to
00:23:43.940 what the Eagles' viewership is, but the Steelers is down. And we're 7-0, at least I think. I don't
00:23:52.400 know. I haven't watched the game. So, there's cultural cues that are telling us, more so than
00:23:58.220 crowds, that people are not being forthcoming with pollsters. And so, I think this is a very close
00:24:06.060 race. And if I'm going by my gut, I say the president probably wins Pennsylvania.
00:24:13.320 And if he wins Pennsylvania, he's going to win the election, most likely. I mean,
00:24:18.180 there are ways for him to lose if he wins Pennsylvania. But if he wins, Pennsylvania
00:24:23.040 is a major, major barometer of this thing. If he pulls that off, he's probably going to win.
00:24:27.880 And I heard that North Carolina, in the pre-voting or the mail-in ballots, that actually the Republicans
00:24:39.920 are outpacing, for the first time, the Democrats. And if that holds, that should be a big sign as 0.76
00:24:50.760 well. Because he needs, the early indications will be Florida, North Carolina, Georgia, wouldn't
00:24:59.720 you say? Georgia is a concern. I think Georgia, I think the states you actually should watch,
00:25:09.240 if you are a supporter of the president, is Georgia, Michigan, and Wisconsin. He's got to win
00:25:15.640 one of those. So, those are the three states outside of Pennsylvania that you've got to watch.
00:25:24.960 If he's coming in at 3%, 4%, 5% in Ohio, then he's likely won Pennsylvania. We're not going to know
00:25:34.940 Pennsylvania for a while. Our ballots aren't even due in until the weekend. There are many counties that
00:25:42.740 aren't even going to start counting ballots until the day after the election. So, other states I would
00:25:51.980 keep an eye on is North Carolina, not North Carolina, Georgia, Michigan, and Wisconsin. Keep an eye on what's
00:26:00.080 going there. Keep an eye on Ohio. If it's at 5, 6, 7 points. These other states, which are neighboring
00:26:07.140 states, where the culture is very similar, you will maybe see this then, the night favoring the
00:26:15.940 president in other Great Lakes, Great Lakes Midwest states. So, tell me how you think those states are
00:26:22.000 stacking up for him? Because I've heard Wisconsin, Biden is like 11 points ahead in the polls.
00:26:28.500 No, Biden's maybe one point ahead in the polls.
00:26:31.200 That's not what I heard on, I think, maybe CNN this morning.
00:26:37.420 Well, I've been there.
00:26:38.700 All right.
00:26:40.420 And I would say Wisconsin, at the worst, if you're a Trump supporter, is at 3 percentage points.
00:26:50.160 And at best, in about 1 to 2 points favoring Biden.
00:26:55.740 The thing we don't understand in polling is, are pollsters overanalyzing polls? Are pollsters
00:27:04.740 not getting enough non-college educated voters in their universe? Pollsters are also, a lot of
00:27:13.340 voters that live outside of suburban and urban areas are more likely to drop the call and unwilling
00:27:20.760 to talk to a pollster. That's not just white working class, that's also black voters and 0.91
00:27:26.860 Hispanic voters. These voters have less of a trust in larger institutions than suburban 0.97
00:27:35.660 college educated people with 2, 3, 4, 92 degrees do. They're like happy to pick up the phone
00:27:44.320 and talk for 45 minutes with a pollster about how much they hate Trump.
00:27:49.520 Selena, thank you so much for being on. You're going to be with us tomorrow night for our election
00:27:54.020 coverage as well. And we'll be looking for your analysis on what is really happening. I think
00:28:01.320 Pennsylvania is going to play a very important role in this election. And also, I fear funny
00:28:09.200 business as well, uh, with the election, uh, and the, the ballots as they count them after
00:28:15.160 the results come in, but, uh, we'll see. Thank you so much, Selena. Appreciate it.
00:28:19.700 Thanks for having me. God bless.
00:28:22.900 This is the best of the Glenn Beck program.
00:28:34.060 This is the day before the election. We're going to give you all of the polls and everything else
00:28:38.660 you need. We also want to talk to first time, uh, Trump voters, people who are thinking about
00:28:43.700 sitting it out. I can't vote for either or undecideds. I'd like to know what would tip that
00:28:49.540 for you one way or another and take those phone calls. Uh, I am a first time Trump voter. Didn't vote
00:28:54.980 for him last time. Uh, didn't vote for Hillary, uh, but didn't vote for him last time and voted Friday
00:29:01.300 and boy, I didn't have a problem. Talk to somebody who said, you know, uh, uh, yeah, I cried when I voted
00:29:08.500 for him. Uh, cause it was, it was hard. I was a first time voter and I don't like a lot of the
00:29:13.260 things he says, but I think he's standing up for what's right. Yep. And it wasn't hard for me.
00:29:18.140 Was it hard for you? Not at all. You haven't voted yet, Stu. No. And you're the gay character 1.00
00:29:21.700 on the show. So you're probably voting for what? I actually only vote for gay people. 0.79
00:29:26.160 Only gay people. Really? Only? Okay. Is there a gay person on the ticket for president? I'm going to 0.99
00:29:30.620 keep, I'm going to keep searching until I find the green party candidate. Don't tell him it's a binary
00:29:34.580 choice. Cause it's not a binary choice. It's not a binary. It's not a binary. Or it is, it is, it is, damn it.
00:29:40.940 Yeah. I had no problem. I, I couldn't push the button hard enough for Trump this time. I know. I
00:29:46.000 actually sat there and I looked at it. Pushing the button harder doesn't get them extra votes. That's
00:29:50.000 not how this works. I just wanted to make sure that it was going through. I just, I, man, I looked at
00:29:54.860 that machine the whole time and I'm like, if you screw this vote up, I mean, I, I checked and checked and
00:30:01.380 rechecked. I checked it, you know, at the end when you're doing the computer check. Yeah. And
00:30:05.540 then I checked it again on the printout. Does it mean anything that my, um, computer printout
00:30:10.380 just said fat chance? No, I think that's fine. Yeah. No, that's what it said on the, uh,
00:30:15.820 doesn't mean much. No. Uh, let me go to, uh, Jillian. Hello, Jillian. You're on the Glenn Beck
00:30:19.420 program. Wow. Hi Glenn. Hi. Hi Pat. Hi. Nice to talk to you guys. Thank you too. I'm a suburban mom
00:30:27.240 and a first time Trump voter. I run a small business from my home and, uh, I'm totally
00:30:33.480 afraid to share any political views on social media, even privately with people that I know
00:30:39.820 and love because I don't think they would love me if they knew. And so the, so the logical
00:30:46.320 thing was for you to call a national radio program. Exactly. I love to do things the wrong
00:30:53.680 way. Right. Okay. So, um, you voted for him for the first time or are you going to vote
00:30:59.400 for him? Have you done it yet? I, I did it. Uh, in Utah, we do mail in ballots and I just
00:31:05.080 took it to the drop box. And how'd you feel about it? I'm still nervous, but I'm hopeful
00:31:13.400 for him. I pray for him and, uh, I pray for the country and that's the best I can do is
00:31:20.340 give my vote and, uh, hope for the best. So what changed your mind? Uh, a lot of the
00:31:27.920 things he's done that he said he was going to do. And I just didn't believe him. I thought
00:31:32.000 he was trolling America. Yeah. Yeah. I really just did not think he was going to do what he
00:31:38.340 said, but he did and, and more. And then the, the media, you know, I, I just couldn't believe
00:31:45.680 that he was saying all the things that he was saying. And so I started listening to
00:31:50.720 the whole context. Yes, exactly. And seeing the way that they were twisting what he said
00:31:57.000 completely out of context, uh, cutting off quotes. Um, I think if he wins, I think if
00:32:03.640 he wins, the media will have a big part in that win because I've talked to a lot of people
00:32:09.460 who said, I didn't, I've never really paid attention, but I couldn't believe what they
00:32:13.520 were saying. If it was that bad, we needed to get rid of him. And they started paying
00:32:17.260 attention and they realized, Oh my gosh, we're being lied to. Jennifer in Missouri. Hello,
00:32:21.940 Jennifer. Hi, Gwen. Hi. First time Trump voter. Oh, hello. Yes. Are you there? You're a first
00:32:30.240 time Trump voter. Are you there? Uh, hello? Yes. Can you hear us? Put her on hold to see 1.00
00:32:36.000 if we can, uh, fix this. Let's go to, uh, Jeff in, uh, North Carolina. Hello, Jeff.
00:32:43.500 Yeah, I'm doing good. Good. Um, I'm a first time voter like you. I was a Ted Cruz guy,
00:32:50.560 loved him. Uh, I was afraid that Trump was kind of, uh, going to be a, uh, I got to come
00:32:56.380 in and spoil the election. Um, I kind of thought he was working under the, under the cover for
00:33:02.880 the Democrats to kind of come in and, you know, help Hillary out. Uh, but he, he did what he said
00:33:09.560 he was going to do. He's protected the unborn. He is, he protects our freedoms. He has done great
00:33:15.260 for this country. And after four years, I think he truly loves this country. I think, you know,
00:33:20.620 I think he's the only one in my lifetime with Reagan, maybe the exception, um, that has actually
00:33:27.160 done everything that he said he was going to do for the most part, the border, et cetera, et cetera.
00:33:32.440 But, um, even the stuff I don't like, like the trade with China, um, but he has done the,
00:33:39.500 the, the things I thought for sure he would never do. He'd never do those things. And he did.
00:33:46.360 I mean, the, the Jerusalem situation is probably the one that stands out the most in that regard.
00:33:50.560 Like the fact that what he's done in the Middle East, the fact that we've seen multiple countries
00:33:54.840 now come on the side of, of, of normalizing relations. I mean, that's crazy. That one,
00:34:01.880 I would have never, honestly, no way. I mean, the Supreme court justices, he, he did, you know,
00:34:07.700 say he had a list of them and everything. Yeah. But look at the Bush appointments, you know,
00:34:11.640 the Bush appointments sometimes were like, okay. Yeah. And I honestly didn't, I was not even
00:34:16.400 convinced he was going to pick off the list, frankly. I mean, and you could argue he, at least
00:34:20.480 the first one he did. And then he, you know, made a new list and picked the other two off of that
00:34:24.120 one. So, right. But still, I mean, they're all in the pocket of approval from things like the
00:34:29.000 Federalist Society. They're, they're, they're very much normal to good Republican picks, which I did
00:34:35.600 not expect. He just signed another international agreement on abortion that it's not an international
00:34:41.020 right. And he signed on with 30 other countries. Got us out. Remember I, one of the things I said he
00:34:45.760 would never do is get us out of the green deals. You know what I mean? Get us out of the Paris
00:34:49.440 Accords and everything else. Did that right away. He did that right away. And he's, he is standing
00:34:54.580 for that. We're energy independent for the first time in my lifetime. That's incredible. It is. The
00:35:02.800 fact that we, we beat ISIS quickly, almost with a yawn. That's one that's really forgotten because
00:35:09.260 that was the big international story theme of 2016. They don't even have anything to talk about.
00:35:15.480 Yeah. I mean, and we've, and look, we've done enough work with Nazarene, uh, fund and everything
00:35:20.080 to know that it's not completely over there. There's still trouble, but still it's better. It's,
00:35:24.500 it's immeasurably better than in 2016. So much so that it's not even something that got, if, as far
00:35:30.340 as I can remember, mentioned in the debates. No, it wasn't. Not at all. Of course not. You couldn't
00:35:35.120 have mentioned that because it shows success. And then on top of it, you know, the next shoe to fall
00:35:40.160 is Saudi Arabia and all of them. Now, all of our middle East allies are all saying if Biden comes
00:35:46.580 in, this all falls apart because they will go back to the Palestinian well. And so all of this falls 0.99
00:35:53.300 apart. I mean, that's, I mean, we are just the, the, the cardinal, that letter that I read, I think
00:36:01.320 we really are in a battle of good versus evil. And look at how far we have come because we have a guy
00:36:08.600 who's, who doesn't care. And he's willing just to go, no, that's, I don't agree with you. I know
00:36:15.060 you're all the eggheaded experts, but you've been saying this for 80 years or a hundred years and it's
00:36:21.080 not working. So I'm not doing it anymore. If he gets another term, he will clean out that deep state
00:36:28.500 because he has every reason to do it. He, have you seen the, the zoom calls? Can we play,
00:36:36.480 listen to this zoom call? This is from the, what is it? The sunrise foundation, black lives matter
00:36:43.120 and a shutdown DC. They had a zoom call. And on this call were people from the government.
00:36:52.160 They were in positions in the government and they were being asked, what levers do you have
00:36:59.660 to be able to shut things down? I want you to listen to what they are plotting. Here it is.
00:37:04.560 So we began to put together a list of things we want to know about in the city. So where are all
00:37:10.780 the police stations? Because it's good to know where the police are. Where are all the key
00:37:15.120 government buildings? Where are all the media outlets? Who are the Trump boosters? So we're
00:37:22.400 talking about what would it take to surround the white house and have people do stuff? We can divide
00:37:26.960 it up easily with affinity groups. We have to be willing to put our bodies on the line and take on
00:37:31.840 some discomfort, sacrifice, risk in order to change things. And I've been in conversations
00:37:38.200 where people have never thought about having a gun or like, should I have a gun? But I think we have
00:37:42.560 to know, and I'm going to talk a little bit in a few minutes about what do we do when guns are in
00:37:46.760 the mix? So again, chaos is a suit by which change emerges. Let's get cooking. Again, we didn't cause the
00:37:53.360 war. We didn't ask for this war. Many of us are here because we want to fight it. We want something
00:37:58.480 different. What are we willing to do? Because again, we're not dealing with people with just 1.00
00:38:03.160 simple guns. We're dealing with people with AR, AK-47s, multiple rounds, a lot of shootings. So
00:38:09.380 yeah, we are going to be in a crisis, but we want it to be one that we are creating.
00:38:16.440 We want to make sure that we are on the offense and not the defense. We want them to be responding
00:38:21.680 to us and thus not responding to them. In a situation of a coup or an insurrection or an
00:38:27.440 uprising, whoever's got the guns often can win. We should be clear.
00:38:34.960 Like, it's got to go. Trump's got to go. In order to achieve what they did, they knew they had to take
00:38:43.280 over important government buildings. They knew they had to try and win over members of the police and
00:38:48.380 army and they had to protect each other. I think we don't have a lot of experience taking over
00:38:53.400 government buildings and we might need to think about that. And I know, as I, you know, I said
00:38:58.300 earlier how, you know, we may find ourselves in the streets with people with different tactics than
00:39:03.600 ours, but like there may be some people that are willing to break the windows to get into the
00:39:09.160 government buildings. Like if that's what we need to do, then we shouldn't fight about that.
00:39:14.760 Let's do that. Wow. This sounds like a suburban mom. You know, I mean, she sounds, this is what, 0.83
00:39:24.560 these are the three groups out of the 200 that the Democrats have partnered with to create chaos.
00:39:33.820 We showed you all of the documentation. The 200 groups, I think that came out in maybe the New York
00:39:43.020 Times maybe about a week ago about how these 200 groups are putting on, been put on standby. Again,
00:39:51.180 this is leaked, a leaked Zoom call between the leadership from shutdown DC, the Sunrise Movement
00:39:57.700 and BLM. And they're worried about the right creating violence. This is what we're up against.
00:40:08.820 And this is part of the deep state and part now of your Democratic or Democrat party. This is part of
00:40:19.680 it. Now you are not dealing with your grandfather, your father, or even Barack Obama's Democrats.
00:40:27.700 Democrats. It is now a Marxist revolutionary group.
