The Glenn Beck Program - Best of The Program ｜ Guests： Sen. Ted Cruz & Ezra Levant ｜ 3⧸25⧸21

00:00:00.000 Hey, today's podcast really great. We go up north of the border to Canada to talk to Ezra Levant,

00:00:05.840 who has a disturbing story about the U.S. Navy having some research group at the University of

00:00:14.840 Arkansas look for Canadian extremists. Why? I mean, shouldn't you concentrate on China? 0.95

00:00:23.700 And they found rebelnews.com and the lies that were said in this report. Who's paying for this? Us.

00:00:34.520 Why are they looking into media in Canada? We'd like some answers. That's on today's program. Also,

00:00:43.040 Ted Cruz drops by. He's on his way to the border. We talked to him about that. It's some disturbing

00:00:50.000 stuff with H.R. 1, which is the new voting bill. And also gun control. All that and so much more

00:00:59.260 on today's podcast. And don't forget to subscribe to this podcast. Rate and review if you don't mind

00:01:03.880 taking a moment. It helps us get up the charts as well as going over to Stew Does America. That

00:01:32.320 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:01:40.060 We have Senator Ted Cruz on with us now. He's we have several topics we want to hit. But I have

00:01:47.100 to start with this reporter asked him yesterday. Could you please wear a mask? And here's what

00:01:52.320 he said. Yeah, when I'm talking to the TV camera, I'm not going to wear a mask. And all of us

00:01:59.100 have been immunized. So you're welcome to step away if you like. The whole point of a vaccine

00:02:08.400 CDC guidance is what we're following. Yeah. Good for you. Ted Cruz. Welcome to the program.

00:02:14.200 How are you, Ted? Glenn. Good morning. Good to be with you. Thank you. I want to talk to you about

00:02:18.360 the border. We now have confirmation that it's not only the Dallas Convention Center, but they are now

00:02:27.520 storing people in Pecos, Texas, Midland, Carrizo Springs, two Texas military bases, plus 1400 are going

00:02:39.720 to be housed now at the San Diego Convention Center. What's happening, Ted? It is an absolute crisis at

00:02:48.680 the border, and it's getting worse and worse every day. They have. Go ahead. The direct result of

00:02:54.260 political decisions made by Joe Biden and his administration. They cause this crisis and their

00:03:00.940 political decisions continue to make it worse. Do you think I mean, honestly, I was talking to a

00:03:07.140 farmer the other day and when he saw what the president and his administration did with the

00:03:12.800 farm relief bill and said, hey, we're going to give it to black farmers and minority farmers and not 0.99

00:03:18.720 necessarily white. He said, Glenn, I just there's no other way for me to view that other than intentional 0.89

00:03:26.440 divisiveness. He said there's nothing more divisive than that, especially for a community of farmers

00:03:32.760 farmers, where everybody is helping each other. Everybody's on the same side. It doesn't matter

00:03:38.580 what color you are. The same thing here. Is there is this just sheer incompetence or is was did they

00:03:47.080 know this was going to happen and they did it anyway? It's something worse than that, which is its

00:03:52.620 rabid partisanship that blinds them to everything else. This administration is driven by the hard

00:03:59.580 left. The agenda is set by Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren and AOC, and their view on the

00:04:05.540 border is they support open borders. They view ICE. Kamala Harris said ICE law enforcement are the

00:04:12.520 equivalent of KKK or stormtroopers. That's their view. And so Joe Biden got elected president. As soon

00:04:19.380 as he gets sworn in, in his first week, he halted construction of the border wall. He reinstituted

00:04:26.320 the failed policy of catch and release. So now when we catch an illegal immigrant, we let them go. We 1.00

00:04:31.920 give them a court date sometime in the future, and we know a whole lot of them are never coming back

00:04:35.560 back to be seen again. And most indefensibly, he ended the remain in Mexico policy. Now, what is the

00:04:43.800 remain in Mexico policy? It was a big foreign policy victory of the Trump administration, where

00:04:49.880 President Trump negotiated with Mexico and Mexico agreed that illegal immigrants from Central America

00:04:56.180 who had applied for asylum in the United States would remain in Mexico while the cases proceeded.

00:05:01.620 And it was working, and it was lowering the numbers dramatically. And the Biden administration is so

00:05:07.040 ideological, they didn't care. And they've produced, we are already seeing right now, the highest number

00:05:13.480 of illegal immigrants in 20 years on the southern border. And HHS has in their custody 11,551 children.

00:05:24.140 And that's just HHS. They said, you know, Ted, you and I were down at the border years ago under Obama.

00:05:32.720 And you and I both know, and I called Chuck Todd myself and said, hey, you've got to look into this.

00:05:40.380 They were not interested in the, quote, cages that were holding children. Now, they're not interested

00:05:47.820 again. In fact, they're making the argument that this is humanitarian. This is the right thing to do

00:05:55.580 to keep them in cages. That is exactly right. For four years of the Trump presidency, Democrats in the

00:06:02.440 media talked every day about kids in cages. What they ignored is that Barack Obama built the cages.

00:06:09.120 You and I both went to those cages during the Obama administration. They utterly ignored that.

00:06:15.540 But and now Joe Biden is making the cages bigger and they're more full. And I'll tell you, it is truly a

00:06:23.820 catastrophe. You take a facility like the Donna facility in South Texas. The Donna facility has a capacity of

00:06:30.500 250 people. It was built to house 250 detainees. It currently has nearly 4,000. Oh, my gosh. That is over 1,500 percent

00:06:43.100 in excess of its capacity. And so there's a reason why the Biden administration is trying to hide it.

00:06:49.340 You know, I'm flying down to the border tonight and I'm bringing 18 senators down to the border to see firsthand what's

00:06:55.740 happening. The Biden administration is refusing to allow press to join us. Fox News wanted to embed with

00:07:03.360 us. ABC News wanted to embed with us. And the Biden administration has a total press blackout. They

00:07:09.600 won't allow reporters in. And Glenn, their justification is laughable on its face. They say the reason they

00:07:15.860 want to allow reporters in is because reporters might have covid. And so one cameraman, a pool

00:07:23.480 cameraman, they say, nope, too big a covid risk. We can't let the guy with the camera in. And it's

00:07:28.380 because they want to hide the absolute disaster they've created. Ted, bring your phone. Can you

00:07:34.400 bring your phone in there? I'm going to bring my phone and we'll see what they do. I expect some

00:07:39.660 fireworks because the Biden administration is desperately trying to cover this up. By the way,

00:07:45.320 we went and looked. So I've been down to the border in the Trump administration. They allowed

00:07:49.240 media in and cameras in. I've been down to the border in the Obama administration. They allowed

00:07:53.160 media in and cameras in. By the way, George W. Bush, they allowed media and cameras in to the

00:07:58.240 facilities. Then Bill Clinton, they allowed media in. It is only Joe Biden that engages in this cover up.

00:08:06.200 And right now, I think too many of the press are still being docile and defenders of him

00:08:11.620 while while they're and they're making arguments that are facially absurd. You want to talk about

00:08:18.540 covid-19? Glenn, I'm going to give you a stunning statistic of the illegal immigrants that are being

00:08:25.860 released in Harlingen, Texas. They are testing positive for covid-19 at a rate seven times higher

00:08:33.580 than the U.S. population. And they're just releasing these people.

00:08:36.980 They're letting them go. Many of them are not even testing. I mean, I mean, it is the reports and I'm

00:08:43.900 going to go see it tonight and tomorrow. But the reports are that the kids are packed in so tight that

00:08:50.060 they're sleeping on their sides because they can't even lay down, lay down flat. And that in the midst of

00:08:56.880 a pandemic, that is the direct result of the decisions Joe Biden has made. And these kids, little boys,

00:09:04.820 little girls who are being handed over to human traffickers, these guys are violent criminals. 0.72

00:09:10.620 They're physically assaulting these children. They're sexually assaulting these children. And 0.99

00:09:14.840 it is not humane. It is not compassionate to adopt policies that result in tens of thousands or

00:09:23.340 hundreds of thousands of little boys and little girls being abused by human traffic.

00:09:28.640 Ted, I'd love to have you on tomorrow. I don't know what your plan is, but after you see the camp,

00:09:32.720 we'd love to have you back on. We'll definitely do it. Okay. Real quick, I have to ask you two more

00:09:38.180 questions. First of all, you said H.R. 1, this is a quote, the most dangerous bill this committee

00:09:44.260 has ever considered. Yes. So this bill, which many of us are calling the Corrupt Politicians Act,

00:09:54.440 is designed to entrench and keep corrupt politicians in office forever. It's designed to keep

00:10:01.300 democratic control of the federal government for the next hundred years. How do they do that? It's a

00:10:08.160 total federal takeover of all of our elections. Absolutely unconstitutional. It's completely

00:10:12.880 unconstitutional, but it's also deliberately dangerous. It invites and creates massive voter

00:10:20.440 fraud. How does it do it? It repeals virtually every state voter integrity law. So for example,

00:10:26.500 29 states require voter ID. The Corrupt Politicians Act repeals all of those laws,

00:10:33.620 says it's illegal to require ID to vote. That's an invitation to fraud, and it's intended to be that.

00:10:39.320 It requires universal mail-in voting, which is another wide opportunity for fraud, and it requires

00:10:45.960 ballot harvesting. 31 states prohibit ballot harvesting, which is where you have paid political

00:10:51.920 operatives going, say, to a nursing home and collecting hundreds of ballots, many from people

00:10:57.600 who may no longer be competent to make those decisions. And it invites fraud. If you have

00:11:02.840 someone from the DNC, and gosh, you know, grandpa votes the wrong way and votes Republican, they can

00:11:07.880 just throw that ballot in the trash and only mail in the Democratic ones. Not only that, it mandates

00:11:15.380 immediate registration of essentially everyone, anyone who interacts with the government. So if you get a

00:11:21.300 welfare check, if you get an unemployment check, if you get a driver's license, if you attend a public

00:11:25.780 college or university, you're automatically registered to vote. They know that will result

00:11:31.100 in registering millions of illegal aliens. Not just a couple, but millions. And that is because the

00:11:38.860 Democrats want millions of illegal aliens to vote. And on top of that, it mandates, it strikes down all the 0.56

00:11:46.060 state laws restricting criminals from voting, restricting felons from voting. It says the

00:11:51.620 instant anyone gets out of prison, they're entitled to vote no matter what the state law is. And I guess

00:11:56.720 the Democrats have made the decision that if millions of illegal immigrants and millions of

00:12:01.440 criminals are able to vote, they're going to vote for Democrats and that's going to keep them in 1.00

00:12:05.960 power. So it is a dangerous bill. They've already said that they're spinning it as the Republicans are

00:12:12.700 just trying to take away your right to vote. That's how they're spinning it. And they're starting to

00:12:17.540 talk about the filibuster. Now we have, I view it as a threat from the president to the Senate to pass

00:12:27.460 these common sense gun reforms. Are they, I mean, is there, is it unreasonable to think that they'll

00:12:36.660 take away the filibuster and that they are coming for all of the guns? I think there is a very serious

00:12:44.220 risk on both of those. The filibuster right now, as you know, we have a 50-50 Senate. 0.91

00:12:50.200 If all of the Democrats stand together, they can end the filibuster. Right now it takes 60 votes to

00:12:55.500 pass legislation. But if all the Democrats stand together, they can do it. 48 of them have already

00:13:00.620 said they will. There are only two Democrats who even claim they will oppose it. It is Joe Manchin

00:13:05.340 from West Virginia and Kyrsten Sinema from Arizona. I'll tell you, Chuck Schumer and the Democrats

00:13:11.160 are raining down a world of hurt. I can tell you, I've served in the Senate nine years with Joe Manchin.

00:13:18.300 He's a very nice man. He's very affable and likable. In nine years, he has never once

00:13:24.680 stood up to Chuck Schumer on any issue that mattered when he was the deciding vote. And so

00:13:30.380 the pattern we've seen from him is he finds some cute way to say he didn't give in, but let Schumer

00:13:36.500 do exactly what he wants. And I think there's a real risk of that on the filibuster. And if they do

00:13:42.020 that, their number one priority is the Corrupt Politicians Act, because that keeps them in power

00:13:47.260 forever. Yeah. But but you better believe packing the U.S. Supreme Court is right behind that.

00:13:53.280 Making D.C. a state is right behind that and coming after our guns. As you know, Glenn,

00:13:59.080 when Joe Biden was asked, if you win, does that mean you're coming after the guns? And his answer was

00:14:05.020 bingo. That's what they intend to do.

00:14:07.540 Thank you, Ted Cruz, Senator Ted Cruz from the great state of Texas. We'll talk to you tomorrow

00:14:12.940 after you visited the cages and can tell us what really what's going on down at the border. Thank

00:14:19.100 you so much, Ted. Thank you. God bless. You bet. Senator Ted Cruz.

00:14:26.440 The best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:14:37.540 I've been telling you about rec tech now for, gosh, it's been a year. And I have to tell you,

00:14:44.640 I am as happy with my rec tech as I was the day it arrived. I still I had somebody come onto my

00:14:50.060 back porch and said, what kind of grill is that? I said, hey, a grill. That's a rec tech. It is

00:14:57.120 amazing. Now, Dallas, it's warm. If even if it's a little cold out where you are, you don't have to

00:15:04.000 stand outside to grill. You're going to be mighty uncomfortable in Minnesota, but not with a rec tech

00:15:09.900 sleek and sturdy built from stainless steel. It's got smart grill technology, which means it

00:15:16.120 automatically adjusts to make sure you get the perfect temperature at all times. You can monitor

00:15:21.060 and control it from an app. So you're inside while it's grilling and smoking or even baking outside

00:15:27.180 rec tech wins the day. Follow rec tech on all social media. Sign up for their newsletter at rec tech

00:15:33.260 with a Q at the end. Rec tech dot com. That's R-E-C-T-E-Q dot com. The accused Boulder

00:15:40.220 supermarket gunman, Ahmed Al-Ali. Anyway, Alyssa. What is this? It's Ahmed Al-Ali. Alyssa.

00:15:54.200 I love that. Just rolls off the tongue, doesn't it? The press wants you to know he's a loner.

00:16:00.320 He's a lone wolf. He just lived in his family's basement. Never had a girlfriend.

00:16:08.000 Usami Al-Moussa, Alyssa's brother-in-law, said that the shooter lived in the basement of his

00:16:16.220 family's home there in Colorado. Never had a lot of friends. He said every time I visited

00:16:21.360 with my wife's family, he would always sit away from everyone else, not saying anything

00:16:25.720 to anyone. It was really strange. He was a loner, just sitting to the side, not with

00:16:30.900 us. He works with his family and his brothers, but there were never any girlfriends and not

00:16:36.920 many friends. Oh, man. Even his mother said this when he was arrested for the massacre.

00:16:44.100 This is what his mother said. He has a reputation of being stupid, not smart. 1.00

00:16:50.440 Can you imagine your mom saying that about you? Yeah, my son. What a dummy. He's not like 1.00

00:17:00.520 a proper Muslim. I don't even know what kind of Muslim he was. He didn't go to the mosque

00:17:04.820 I go to. Just odd coming from a mom. That's your first statement? Really? Well, I think,

00:17:12.960 though, when your son has murdered 10 people, probably the best thing you can do is make him 0.99

00:17:18.660 not responsible for it because he's dumb or he's got an illness or whatever the case may be. I mean, 0.99

00:17:24.720 that's your sort of backup reasoning. And certainly you don't want to blame it on your faith. So

00:17:29.860 you're going to say he wasn't a good Muslim. Your first thing is, I mean, think about the parents.

00:17:35.740 So they're always like, we didn't see this coming. We have no idea. Not. Yep. He's been known to be a

00:17:43.020 dummy for a long time. People might think maybe the parenting was an issue here in this particular 0.96

00:17:51.640 situation. Hey, dummy, get back into the basement. Uh, now, uh, we know that he is a Muslim. However, 1.00

00:18:00.060 Twitter has said that calling him a white Christian terrorist,

00:18:04.920 have you read this quote, doesn't violate its misinformation policies?

00:18:15.320 Twitter told Newsweek that characterizing accused mass murder, uh, Ahmed Alawi, uh, is, uh, as a white

00:18:24.960 Christian terrorist does not violate its misinformation policies, even though he is from Syria and has been

00:18:32.760 identified as a Muslim. Uh, prior to the suspect's identity being made public, the magazine said

00:18:41.360 numerous Twitter users assumed the suspect was white and characterized the massacre as another

00:18:47.680 example of racial injustice and white supremacy in the United States. Uh, and lo and behold, that

00:18:54.000 white supremacy narrative blew up in all of the Twitter users faces. Some users have deleted their

00:19:00.940 tweets calling him white. Others have defended their claims saying they were based on his skin color

00:19:05.680 rather than his ethnicity. Uh, Newsweek put the misleading posts to Twitter. Social network has

00:19:14.280 been accused of left-wing bias and anti-Christian prejudice. Uh, but, uh, they said, no, we're not

00:19:21.760 taking any action on these. Uh, they're not in violation of the Twitter rules. We will not take action on

00:19:28.800 every instance of misinformation. Currently our misinformation rules cover COVID-19 misinformation,

00:19:35.540 synthetic and manipulated, uh, media and civic integrity. So you call a guy, uh, you know,

00:19:44.720 a white mass murderer, a white Christian, even though he's a Syrian Muslim, that's not important. 0.96

00:19:53.380 No, that's not important misinformation. So the cops went and they visited his home. He was living in 0.98

00:19:59.700 an $800,000 home in the basement. Uh, and, uh, we're starting to get a real look at this guy.

00:20:08.680 Clearly he was mentally ill. Um, he surrendered, you know, when he surrendered, he's like, I surrender,

00:20:14.460 I surrender. And I'm naked. Cause he really was in his underpants. The police have no other, no idea 0.98

00:20:22.820 why he stripped down, but apparently he just, he was standing there and he started taking off his clothes

00:20:29.600 to his underwear. And, uh, then he was like, I'm naked. I surrender. Maybe because he thought that I want

00:20:37.520 them to see that, you know, I'm not carrying a gun, carrying a weapon, which it's odd to do after a

00:20:44.420 shooting, but maybe he didn't want to necessarily be just shot. Correct. He wanted to be able to

00:20:49.000 surrender for some reason. Now, according to police, um, Alyssa, when he was 17, blacked out

00:20:55.980 and violently assaulted a classmate who had called him a terrorist. The report says Alyssa attacked

00:21:02.580 another student, uh, who had said, uh, he said was bullying him. Uh, he beat him to and left him

00:21:10.340 with a red and swollen face and his eye partially closed. The report claims that, uh, Kim Rose,

00:21:15.980 the other guy was crying and throwing up when his father arrived and threatened to, uh, press

00:21:22.840 charges. Alyssa said he couldn't take being bullied anymore. So he blacked out and rushed him.

00:21:29.340 I blacked out and rushed him. Really? Hmm. He claimed that Kim Rose had called him racist name,

00:21:39.100 called him a terrorist, even took a video of him and put it on Snapchat. Uh, he was charged

00:21:43.360 with a misdemeanor, um, uh, for the, uh, for the attack. Um, apparently he got bullied a lot

00:21:51.280 in high school. So that, you know, there you go. There's the white culture for you. Um, one 0.99

00:21:59.200 of the, uh, he was on a wrestling team. One of the wrestlers said he was violent and scary

00:22:04.420 to be around. He, um, uh, apparently in his senior year, they had wrestle offs to see who

00:22:12.160 would make varsity and he lost his match, but he quit the team and yelled out in the wrestling

00:22:17.120 room, uh, that he was going to kill everybody and nobody did anything, um, about it.

00:22:24.340 You know, I don't know how that happens. How is that? How is that happening? The guy

00:22:28.940 is violent. He threatens his classmates. I'm going to kill everyone. Your kid that eats

00:22:35.160 their peanut butter sandwich into the shape of a gun. They go to jail, but this guy, how

00:22:43.020 is this happening? It happened again. That was the story in Florida. Now he was 17 years

00:22:49.700 old at the time. Uh, he's, uh, not 17 now. Uh, but, uh, nothing to see here. Nothing

00:22:59.440 to see here. Lindsey Graham said the majority of the Senate will reject Biden's assault weapons

00:23:05.820 ban, but I'm not sure. Uh, and I don't think that this is the majority of the Senate.

00:23:12.900 Mm hmm. That's interesting. I guess what all 50 Republicans and Joe Manchin is a majority.

00:23:18.340 Yeah. And of course, Joe Manchin, not exactly reliable as Ted Cruz just pointed out on this

00:23:22.760 program. No. Uh, and, and, uh, I think this is coming out of order though. Let me tell you

00:23:28.960 the story that I think, you know, if you don't see this, you are truly blind and, and I, you 0.89

00:23:39.800 know, I'm a religious nut job. So what do I know? But I can only describe what is happening

00:23:46.200 in our country and our world as evil. There, the forces of evil have been unleashed and, uh,

00:23:56.280 everything is under attack. This isn't just about America. This is about the Western Judeo

00:24:02.380 Christian way of life. This is about everything on the line that the West has done. And it is 0.92

00:24:12.160 a really well thought out plan, uh, that has been in operation for a very long time.

00:24:21.400 And I think that, you know, it's like, look at how fast everything has happened

00:24:27.580 in, in the last 67 days, look how fast things have happened. You already are questioning your

00:24:35.100 military now, aren't you? You're questioning your military, whatever side you're on, you're

00:24:40.720 questioning the brass. If you're, uh, if you're a conservative and you're questioning the average

00:24:46.420 soldier, if you're a liberal, the military was the last thing that we had that we counted

00:24:51.240 on that we believed was not political and they've politicized it so much so that in about 10 minutes,

00:24:57.960 you're going to hear from a guy who testified in front of Congress, what they are doing in

00:25:02.560 our military. It is terrifying how they're accusing our military of being complete nut jobs.

00:25:11.500 They needed to make sure that the military, they could wash people out of the military

00:25:16.860 that are from red States. This is my theory. I don't have anything to know evidence of this other 1.00

00:25:24.040 than, you know, I just don't believe in this series of coincidence. You know, it's, it's much easier

00:25:29.980 to explain if somebody was sitting back and watching, uh, and, uh, and planning all of this,

00:25:36.480 they've done too much too fast for this just to be happenstance. So they come in, we have the

00:25:44.120 January 6th, uh, deal and what do they do? The FBI comes out with a report saying, this is the biggest

00:25:51.600 concern we have really not Antifa, but that collection of people. Really? The military is now is suspect.

00:26:03.040 Uh, and it's pretty much everyone who voted Republican is an extremist. You're a white supremacist, 1.00

00:26:10.960 Christian extremist. Well, that's demonizing half the country. What, how, why would you do that? 1.00

00:26:21.600 Well, then you have a shooting. You have a crazy guy who shoots up the salon and what do they say?

00:26:28.400 It's a right wing extremist. When he wasn't a, he was nuts. Second of all, he even said, no, 1.00

00:26:37.840 this had to do with, with sex addiction. Okay. But it didn't matter.

00:26:43.240 Why the narrative that was important to them at this time was that you were convinced and not you

00:26:53.280 because you're the target that half the country is convinced that those people who live in the crazy 0.99

00:26:59.840 red States are just that they're racist and they're crazy and they're afraid they're going to lose their 1.00

00:27:06.780 power and they are all gun nuts and they're going to shoot us all up. When this guy comes out and he's 1.00

00:27:14.660 Syrian and a Muslim, what do they do? They immediately pivot to don't pay attention to the guy, 1.00

00:27:23.580 pay attention to the gun, which they didn't do last week because they haven't cemented in the left's

00:27:31.220 mind entirely. That everybody who votes differently is a terrorist.

00:27:38.700 So they have to paint everyone who is against HR one against open borders. They have to paint these

00:27:48.100 people as crazy and dangerous. That was going to take some time. They've been thrown off their game. 0.81

00:27:57.740 I don't think they were planning on hitting guns this soon. First year. Absolutely.

00:28:04.580 When the time came, you bet, but I don't think they were done, uh, focusing America on how bad

00:28:13.820 things are. These right-wing extremists, that's how they needed to paint us to silence us and also paint

00:28:20.860 us to get us to give up guns or go to war or be rounded up by, you know, uh, sheriffs all around

00:28:30.180 those people who won't give up guns. They need us to respond in, in violent ways. And when we don't,

00:28:40.260 they just make it up anyway. So you mentioned something, I think it was yesterday or the day

00:28:45.420 before that this wasn't necessarily the event that puts this over the line. They still need

00:28:53.320 a crystal clear cut. Correct. Like event. Correct. Can you explain that? Yeah. They need a, uh,

00:29:00.240 Las Vegas, but they need a Las Vegas where the motive is clear. And it's, it's, you know,

00:29:06.340 they need a January 6th and, and, and everything they do fosters that kind of feeling in a lot of

00:29:15.680 people. They are taking away, they're operating as if they have a mandate when they don't have

00:29:22.120 a mandate. This is a clear election where you like moderate, you know what I mean? You come

00:29:27.700 together, you work together. That's the way it would be. They're operating as if this is a mandate

00:29:32.320 and then they're calling everyone who disagrees with them racist, but they've gone an extra step,

00:29:39.740 a dangerous extremist. That's Patriot, uh, act talk. Because I was reminded today that after Sandy

00:29:50.600 Hook, you remember the push for gun control after Sandy Hook, the Democrats had 58 senators when they

00:29:57.320 tried that and couldn't get it through. Yes. 58. But it doesn't, it doesn't matter. It's thrown them

00:30:02.120 off the game, but it doesn't matter. This is the best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:30:12.500 Rebelnews.com. Very controversial up in Canada because Canada is a socialist country and they

00:30:21.480 don't really have, they don't have the rights that we have here. Uh, and, uh, and Rebel News is kind of

00:30:29.280 like the blaze, uh, the Canadian version of the blaze. I, I consider us sister organizations. Um,

00:30:37.240 and, uh, it's run by Ezra Levant and he is a brilliant, Ezra, you were a lawyer, right? By trade.

00:30:45.080 Yeah, I was, but, uh, I, I did a dabble in politics, but I think journalism, as they say,

00:30:52.160 is upstream from politics, culture is upstream from politics and politicians can only do what

00:30:59.420 they can do in the environment. And it, you know, we have to help shape that environment,

00:31:05.080 help people think things through. I don't think we're that radical. I mean, in the United States,

00:31:09.800 no, you're not called moderate conservative. Correct. I mean, we're, we're sympathetic to

00:31:14.760 Trump. We're skeptical of the Democrats, but look, we're Canadian. We've got that sensibility.

00:31:19.040 I was shocked. Glenn went out of the blue. I get this tip from Arkansas. That's pretty far away from

00:31:25.720 Canada. And it was the strangest thing. I almost didn't believe it. Uh, we, we follow the tip and

00:31:34.360 we discovered through freedom of information documents, the, the U S Navy, the United States

00:31:41.780 Navy had hired a defense contractor in little rock, Arkansas to work up what they call the

00:31:48.880 cyber forensic analysis of my little news company. Now I happen to love the U S Navy. I think it's a

00:31:56.500 great force for freedom. And I mean, I'm no expert, but I think it's the big threat is the Chinese 1.00

00:32:03.000 TLA Navy people's liberation. They got their fourth aircraft carrier. Now that, I mean, sure. The,

00:32:10.400 the U S Navy, you know, might have some problems with China, but we're talking rebel news.com.

00:32:17.340 I don't even have a canoe. My friend, like I am the least, I'm the least nautical person. I'm from a

00:32:23.280 landlocked place called Alberta. It's like, I'm from Nebraska. There's no boats where I'm right. I saw,

00:32:29.560 uh, uh, I saw the evidence. I saw the report for the U S Navy on you. And the paperwork is astonishing

00:32:39.400 because they don't have anything right. And they, they, they are truly painting you as a danger.

00:32:49.300 Yeah. And I didn't understand. Look, I've had no interactions in my life with the U S Navy. I've had,

00:32:55.940 I've never been to Arkansas, although I'd like to, it looks very pretty. So what are they doing

00:33:01.120 going after me? And it made me think, well, remember how the British intelligence sort of

00:33:05.560 did some of the heavy, heavy lifting against the Trump campaign. They, they did some spying in

00:33:11.460 those early days. And I thought, so I thought, well, maybe there's a Canadian angle. And sure enough,

00:33:17.320 this same defense contractor at the university of Arkansas in Little Rock sold the same dossier,

00:33:25.260 if I could use that word to the Canadian armed forces, special operations command. So again,

00:33:31.980 Canada has some challenges. I don't think we're a military challenge. I'm a Canadian citizen. We

00:33:37.520 follow the law. I mean, we're, we're, you know, we're conservative, but I think you're right. We

00:33:42.280 are sort of in the same part of the spectrum as a blaze. I don't even know if this is legal.

00:33:48.020 It's probably legal for the U S Navy to spy on me. Cause I'm not an American. Although it seems weird to

00:33:54.520 me that I'm their big enemy. I don't know if it's legal for Justin Trudeau to have his army

00:34:00.100 spy on me. That probably isn't right. But it makes me think, okay, I discovered this almost by

00:34:06.400 accident. I did some access to information requests and freedom of information requests.

00:34:11.620 I got some more. The university of Arkansas is defense contractor. They're stonewalling. 1.00

00:34:16.080 They don't want to, they don't want to show us how this whole thing started. They gave us a few

00:34:21.320 scraps, but I want to know who ordered this, what was their mission or their mandate? What was the

00:34:28.260 back of like, how did this even happen? That a Canadian news site became a target of the U S Navy. I,

00:34:35.160 like, I'm really, really curious how that was set in motion.

00:34:38.460 It doesn't make any sense at all. Uh, the two things I could, uh, I could think of is,

00:34:45.080 is, is the Canadian, uh, somebody in the Canadian military or Justin Trudeau's office or whatever,

00:34:53.440 are they getting favors done, uh, for them by our military and in exchange, are they investigating

00:35:03.640 people like us in Canada and, and can share the information here in the United States, but it's

00:35:12.600 not, it's disturbing because it is not even accurate information. Explain some of the inaccuracies

00:35:20.380 here. Cause it's pretty significant. Sure. And I mean, we all have heard the joke that's,

00:35:26.580 you know, what's an oxymoron jumbo shrimp, right, right, right. Military intelligence. I never liked

00:35:32.920 that joke about military intelligence. Cause I thought, no, military intelligence. Those are

00:35:37.640 the, those are the smart guys who, you know, crack the codes and counter terrorism. If this is the

00:35:44.500 state of U S military intelligence, you guys are in trouble because I mean, first of all, they say

00:35:50.760 we're a U S operation. No, we're not. We love America. We talk about America, but we're based up

00:35:56.280 here in Canada. They say that, you know, sometimes we have, uh, what, what are called a micro

00:36:02.580 sites or vanity sites. So for example, we have a civil liberties campaign. We talked about this

00:36:07.500 the other day called fight the fines.com. So if anyone gets a lockdown ticket, we crowdfund a

00:36:13.900 civil liberties lawyer. So we just, instead of me saying, Hey, go to rebel news.com slash fight

00:36:19.340 underscore the, like, instead of remembering, I just remember fight the fines.com. So we have a bunch

00:36:24.680 of these, I call them vanity sites, but they, they're just forwarding to different pages on our

00:36:29.840 website. So I don't have to remember a hundred different URLs. That's all they are. And it's

00:36:34.200 on every one. And you do, it's like when you come out with a news story, uh, and like this,

00:36:40.500 it's, you know, Canadians, uh, um, uh, U S Navy spies or whatever it would be. So it's easy for

00:36:48.540 people to find it. And it is, it would all be directing back to rebel, rebel news.com. It would

00:36:55.740 be part of that. Yeah. It's totally normal. Governments do it too, by the way. So for

00:37:01.040 example, in the story we're talking about, I took all the spy, uh, stuff we got and I

00:37:06.720 put it on a page and I gave it a nickname, really stop spying on us.com just so I can

00:37:12.760 remember it for radio interviews. So if you were to go to stop spying on us.com, it'll

00:37:18.300 actually forward you to a rebel news story about this case. And you can see all these

00:37:23.000 documents for yourself and you can make your own judgments. So what, and the reason I tell

00:37:27.540 you that is because this defense contractor said, no, no, no, by using a vanity URLs, uh,

00:37:36.700 these are deep fakes designed to deceive people. And, and the craziest thing is they said, one

00:37:45.160 of our goals is to get people to vote for Canada's socialist party. Uh, there's a guy named

00:37:51.380 Jagmeet Singh who runs our socialist party up here. We, we disagree with him strenuously.

00:37:57.140 I mean, he's a nice guy personally, but he's like, he is far left. He's like, um, Bernie

00:38:02.160 Sanders. Yeah, exactly. He's like the Bernie Sanders of Canada. The theory that the U S

00:38:07.700 Navy's defense contractor cooked up was at rebel news. And I've been conservative my whole

00:38:12.860 life since I was a boy, I've been right wing that my secret mission is to meddle in the

00:38:18.840 Canadian election to get people to vote socialist. And I'm just thinking, dude, have they ever

00:38:24.040 watched a single one of my, that would be like saying Glenn Beck's secret agenda is to

00:38:28.720 get Bernie Sanders into the white house. They've just, have you ever turned on the show? But

00:38:34.000 I was thinking, why would they write such kooky stuff? Why would they say we're American,

00:38:38.700 not Canadian? Why would they say that our vanity URLs, which is really a big nothing are

00:38:43.740 a deep fake. They use that word deep, but we don't want deep fakes. So those are those

00:38:48.360 forgery videos that look like Tom Cruise. I mean, they're spooky. We don't do that. I

00:38:53.000 don't know how to do that. We, that's not what we do. And why would they say we're trying

00:38:56.360 to meddle in, in the election to get the socialists elected? And I have a theory that they're trying

00:39:02.760 to say rebel news is like one of those Russian troll farms or something. So they can use some 0.62

00:39:08.280 national security rationale to sweep us off the internet, or even just to go to YouTube, 0.54

00:39:14.260 Google, Facebook, Twitter, and say, guys, you've got a Russian troll farm. They're meddling in the

00:39:19.580 election. They're deep fakes, American based. They're trying to interfere. You've got to shut 0.99

00:39:25.500 them down. So I think it wasn't actually real spying because it takes five minutes to know we're in

00:39:31.900 Canada. It takes five minutes to know we don't like the socialist candidate. I think they were trying

00:39:36.360 to cook up some dossier that they could use to get us knocked off the internet.

00:39:42.140 I don't find that a stretch of imagination. I don't know why this has happened. But I think

00:39:50.600 it's interesting that it happened in the United States and apparently commissioned by the US Navy.

00:39:55.760 That doesn't make any sense at all. You know, one of the things that one of our presidents

00:40:01.340 that I know, you know, Eisenhower spoke about in his farewell address was everybody, everybody

00:40:10.420 remembers in America that he was warning about the vast military industrial complex.

00:40:19.660 But what the warning was, it was not just about how these people are going to be now in bed with

00:40:25.400 government and huge dollars are going to be there. He also talked about research and science and

00:40:33.340 educational units, you know, our colleges. And he warned that when you have this kind of money at

00:40:40.860 stake, that people will come up with things not because they're curious, but because the government

00:40:48.260 wants it. And I'm wondering if this isn't a clear right way, I mean, military industrial complex kind of

00:41:00.660 action coming true is somebody wanting this information in Canada. And they're doing favors and we're doing

00:41:11.800 favors and they, they've hired a company that they know will give them the answer that they're looking for.

00:41:20.980 Yeah. And you make a good point that, you know, I found it odd that the University of Arkansas and

00:41:25.800 Little Rock was involved. I mean, aren't you supposed to be teaching kids? You know, what are you doing?

00:41:31.800 But this is exactly what Eisenhower warned of.

00:41:34.860 Yeah. And part of me thought, like I mentioned before, how they got so many facts so wrong and

00:41:42.040 they were so crazy in their language. These are deep fakes. And I thought to myself, maybe 0.95

00:41:49.040 they're just trying to create a demand for more studies that they get paid for. I have no idea

00:41:56.000 how much they were paid. If it was 10 grand or a hundred grand or who knows, I don't know.

00:42:00.200 Our tax dollars went to pay for it. Well, the U S Navy is a huge budget. I think it's

00:42:06.080 $161 billion. So there's a lot of, you know, a lot of money to be had building. Yeah. And so

00:42:13.680 this little defense contractor in, in Little Rock, and I've left them a message, by the way,

00:42:18.200 I've asked them some questions. I called up the spy master of the U S Navy because her phone number

00:42:23.360 is on one of these documents. I just left her a message and I sent her an email. And I mean,

00:42:28.160 listen, I just want to talk. And frankly, they can ask me questions. They can ask me

00:42:32.720 if I'm a Canadian, they can ask me if I'm trying to create a revolution or something. I like you

00:42:37.860 would think talk, if you're spying on a guy and he wants to talk to you, talk to him. No, they they're

00:42:42.660 hiding from me. I think that there's a chance that this is just a money-making, uh, self-perpetuating,

00:42:49.340 you know, empire building thing. And, and maybe the admirals don't quite know what deep fakes are

00:42:57.860 and what vanity URLs are. And so if you use lots of scary words, admirals who may be, you know,

00:43:04.760 the most they do on the internet is look at photos of their grandkids on Facebook. Maybe they're

00:43:09.920 bamboozling. I'm just guessing here and, and scaring them so that the money keeps flowing. It's just a

00:43:16.900 theory because I mean, I see three theories. One is we're conservative. So smash us. That's a

00:43:22.540 theory. One is it's a favor for the Canadian government because maybe if the U S government

00:43:27.800 spies on us, it's not illegal. Whereas if the Canadian government spied on their own citizens,

00:43:32.400 it is, but there's also that military industrial complex, just self-perpetuating, you know, busy work,

00:43:39.040 um, build up a budget. None. If I was the Chinese Navy, I would be laughing so hard at this.

00:43:46.340 They're building their fourth aircraft carrier. They're going deeper and deeper into the blue

00:43:51.280 sea. I am scared of the Chinese Navy. That's not me being dramatic. That is the rising military

00:43:57.760 power. And I would just wish the U S Navy, which I admire would stop focusing on my little website.

00:44:04.480 I would focus on the bad guy. I will, um, I'll, I'll have our producers look into this as well.

00:44:10.360 Have you called the university of Arkansas little rock? Yeah. Well, I mean, I, I actually hired a lawyer

00:44:16.120 because you need some standing in Arkansas to do a freedom of information request. And I'm not an art,

00:44:22.260 I'm not from Arkansas. So we, we hired a local law firm and they've gone back and forth about 10 times

00:44:28.940 and the university of Arkansas is stonewalling. And I think they don't want to hand over the defense

00:44:35.240 contract. They don't want to show who commissioned this. We have some of the, the, uh, emails back and

00:44:43.280 forth from, uh, the university of, uh, Arkansas, little rock, uh, somebody neat. Is it Nitton?

00:44:52.260 Nitton? Yeah. Nitton Agrawal. He's, he's the boss of this little defense contractor with their,

00:44:58.000 their staff of the university. And they take defense contracts, which is exactly what Eisenhower talked

00:45:04.040 about. And, and basically he took a contract from the U S Navy on us. And then he seems to have sold

00:45:10.920 the same work a second time to the Canadian government. I've put in access to information

00:45:16.240 requests in about six different places. I think we're going to have to go to court in Arkansas

00:45:20.880 because they don't want to give it up. Well, I, I wonder if we can, if we can help you because this

00:45:26.320 involves our tax dollars and, uh, we should be able to get a freedom of information act,

00:45:32.780 uh, because we're American citizens on this one. Um, we're going to look into this one,

00:45:38.140 uh, Ezra and anything further that you have on it, let us know, because if they're doing it to you,

00:45:43.960 who's doing it to us?

00:45:46.040 Na, na, na, na, na.
