The Glenn Beck Program - Best of The Program ｜ Guests： Shelley Luther & Chad Prather ｜ 4⧸27⧸20

00:00:00.000 welcome to the podcast today we talk about the allegations against joe biden uh this is an

00:00:06.080 interesting one because the media doesn't tell you about this stuff at all but they've dug into

00:00:11.340 the archives and found footage of apparently uh the accuser's mom calling into larry king in 1993

00:00:19.240 we have that audio it's pretty amazing to hear we also talk about the ridiculous restrictions

00:00:25.700 going on with businesses and business owners a sting at a nail salon they try to catch people

00:00:31.180 from you know doing nails uh which is apparently crime now uh the possibility of a uh food shortage

00:00:41.040 in some areas with certain foods we'll get into that and talk to a dallas salon owner who has

00:00:47.200 decided to just stay open told that they're not allowed to be open she's just like i'm gonna stay

00:00:52.300 open because i think it's the right thing to do and chad prather is on as well talking about the

00:00:56.900 surveillance state we're kind of walking into right now it's all in the podcast today make sure you

00:01:00.720 subscribe rate and review this podcast as well as shoot over to stew does america as well and do the

00:01:06.440 same five stars as the appropriate amount of stars and you can of course join up for a subscription at

00:01:11.940 blaze tv.com use the promo code glenn you're going to save 30 bucks off your subscription here's the podcast

00:01:17.000 you're listening to the best of the glenn beck program

00:01:27.300 this is the glenn beck program we're glad that you uh are listening by the way uh for those of you

00:01:37.880 who might be frustrated with homeschooling your kids uh there's the archives the glenn beck archives

00:01:43.740 that you can get uh now at uh the blaze tv uh just go to blaze tv.com slash glenn look for my uh

00:01:52.320 archives and you will find a few of them that are put together one of them is the pendulum theory

00:01:59.640 uh which is really important for you to understand uh and there's a couple of others and also look for

00:02:06.060 uh his story the history archive where we kind of tell the the we tell history through artifacts

00:02:14.480 there's a couple of seasons i think on that on blaze tv okay uh welcome to pat gray hello pat

00:02:21.220 hello glenn speaking of uh homeschooling i heard you telling the story about your granddaughter

00:02:25.240 that when she was clearly being presented with the word stuck and kept saying mud

00:02:30.820 i hope you've had her checked you've had her checked haven't you i really why do you think

00:02:35.420 something's wrong yes i think something's very wrong i mean if you don't say that if you're joking

00:02:39.560 if you can't get stuck out of stock and you keep going to mud come on now come on let's let's get you 0.96

00:02:45.100 some help uh what is she four now is she four five how old is this person uh twelve

00:02:52.880 18 no that's jeffy um so uh the uh experts are now coming out and saying that and i want to i want

00:03:06.140 to quote this because they're from experts okay they've done some research and they worry that

00:03:12.360 quarantine fatigue is starting yes okay

00:03:17.500 they're on top of it they say um they say that we are starting to have quarantine fatigue and

00:03:27.800 we saw something that we hoped wasn't happening but it's there it seems actively we're getting a

00:03:34.040 little tired of quarantine and it looks like people are starting to loosen up on their own travel more

00:03:39.120 yeah yeah yeah yeah that's gonna happen it is happening it is absolutely i yeah we had a

00:03:45.900 over over the weekend i was i was out uh running some errands and i there had to be triple the

00:03:54.480 traffic that there has been the last six weeks yeah it does seem like it's picking up it was it there

00:03:58.160 was a ton and i went to the grocery store and it was full of people and most of them didn't have

00:04:03.980 masks on or gloves and so i think people are yeah they're tired of it and they're just going about

00:04:10.240 their lives now uh so i well the good news is we can get a little more draconian about things

00:04:16.560 you know yeah we could by the way you know in uh uh wisconsin you know that they saw no

00:04:22.620 no uptick in cases because of voting remember when they all went out and they all voted and we're like

00:04:29.780 that's crazy not a single uptick from it nothing although they did have everyone you saw the pictures

00:04:36.720 i mean they weren't standing anywhere near each other social distancing yeah right i went to home

00:04:41.580 depot this weekend and everybody was standing right yeah everybody was standing apart from each other i

00:04:47.520 mean nobody got close to one another when you were even talking you know somebody was you know i was

00:04:53.760 talking to my son-in-law and somebody else said hey you know what you really need to do but he was

00:04:58.440 six or eight feet away uh and i didn't walk up to him and he didn't walk closer to me and he showed

00:05:05.020 me something in his in his cart and he was like look this is i'm doing this blah blah blah blah blah

00:05:09.660 we stayed our distance people are doing that yeah they're smart enough we're not stupid right

00:05:15.320 right here's i don't know if you saw what happened in laredo texas two women were arrested this weekend

00:05:23.040 they were caught running a beauty salon inside of their homes now listen to this officers from the

00:05:30.600 laredo texas police department were informed of activities through an anonymous tip sent to their

00:05:37.660 tipster line the tipster informed police that the women were running a salon service and advertising on 1.00

00:05:45.940 social media so the police went on an undercover sting operation and arrested the women for offering 0.98

00:05:54.300 beauty services from their home they were taken to jail for booking and and were held on a 500

00:06:03.560 bond for violating emergency management plan c and emergency management plan b you've got to be kidding

00:06:11.900 me it's not america that's just no it's not that's not america that's so not america and you see

00:06:20.080 examples of that all over the country and that has to stop that just has to stop at what point do

00:06:27.720 police stop enforcing uh edicts from mayors that are unconstitutional i hope at this point i hope

00:06:35.600 stop it yes well we'll see we have a lady who's running a salon here in dallas texas and that's a 1.00

00:06:43.480 progressive city now uh and um uh they've already received uh citations from the city and she's like

00:06:51.360 i'm not closing i am not closing back down i've had enough of this you want to get your hair done

00:06:56.740 in the beauty salon come on here and uh we have her on in about an hour or so and i i think she's going 1.00

00:07:03.060 to be uh i don't know i mean is she going to go to jail are they going to arrest her possibly pastor

00:07:09.300 that was that was given an ankle bracelet for you know defying his stay-at-home order

00:07:15.300 uh this is in baton rouge he was given an ankle bracelet he doesn't care he's still walking around

00:07:22.220 they're like you're not supposed to be walking around yep well track me i'm walking here

00:07:26.960 and there's a restaurateur in uh houston who just opened up too and he said look i'm not trying to

00:07:35.180 be defiant here i'm not trying to be a rebel here but my employees are really hurting and we need to

00:07:41.900 we need to open up so that's what we're doing we're opening up we're doing social distancing i put all

00:07:48.180 the tables six feet from each other you can pay at your table i you don't have to touch anything or

00:07:53.640 anyone he said i'm doing this as safely as is humanly possible and they're threatening to arrest him too

00:07:59.080 that's crazy that is crazy yeah um stew you were out in uh a neighboring town this weekend

00:08:06.500 that actually was one of the first cities to fully open up yeah uh i saw people eating at a restaurant

00:08:13.580 no you didn't call 911 immediately oh good got them all they're all in prison now but i mean if they

00:08:18.700 were out there uh on a patio because this is this town opened this up for patio dining so if you have

00:08:24.900 outdoor dining you can open it up and you know of course it's the basically the only town with

00:08:29.220 restaurants open within a hundred mile radius so they were very crowded uh they did very well

00:08:33.800 people were coming from a like over an hour away across town yeah just to eat there we thought about

00:08:39.460 we thought about going uh you know going there and eating as well and i was i honestly just stopped

00:08:44.840 because it seemed like it would be annoying nothing to do with the virus it was like i don't do i

00:08:49.720 really want to wait this long to sit at an outdoor table when i can just get the stuff

00:08:53.820 delivery and instead of my own outdoor table yeah so i didn't actually do it but i did drive

00:08:57.320 by it is anybody is anybody else kind of like well i kind of miss this i'll miss this i mean i don't

00:09:05.040 want to be told not to go out but i kind of like keep your distance don't talk to me get away kind of

00:09:11.940 yeah more than kind of i kind of like oh yeah we got to go we got to go over to somebody's house

00:09:18.200 no no we don't we don't no no we can hang on to some of this i think later on after this all

00:09:23.360 i think still hang on the part yes yes we do i think we need to i did a uh a t-shirt uh for uh

00:09:29.900 you know stew does america we have this you know stew does merch is where all the merchandise is and

00:09:33.420 one of the t-shirts is just um sorry can't make it self-quarantined and i that's applying for after

00:09:39.660 it has nothing to do with now when everyone's quarantined i mean afterwards i'm just gonna fake

00:09:43.520 quarantine i don't know i might be sick every time i get invited to a party i'm just gonna like

00:09:47.580 oh i'm sorry you don't even have to do that i believe the government's lying to us it's worse

00:09:54.200 than they say it is i'm still quarantined yeah i i will say this though i'm not afraid anymore

00:10:01.760 because at the suggestion of the president i had a clorox iv drip all weekend long all weekend long

00:10:09.680 and then i jammed a uv light up my rectum and it's i mean i'm safe i think now i'm completely 0.98

00:10:16.060 so you have no what are they calling it anal seepage that's what they say no pool activity 0.98

00:10:20.940 because of anal seepage and i'm like i don't want to even think about that no no i don't know 0.70

00:10:28.280 but you don't have enough chlorine in your pool if you worried about that okay add a little more

00:10:34.300 chlorine uh one one last story here in connecticut the police department has scrapped their pandemic

00:10:42.840 drone program this is in westport connecticut they the hardest hit county in fairfield has

00:10:53.620 abandoned its use of high-tech drones that can detect symptoms of coronavirus infection

00:10:58.660 from up to 190 feet away wow people were like uh no i don't think i feel comfortable with your drones

00:11:07.760 in the sky the best of the glenn beck program

00:11:12.940 hey it's glenn and you're listening to the glenn beck program if you like what you're hearing on this

00:11:23.800 show make sure you check out pat gray unleashed it's available wherever you download your favorite

00:11:29.460 podcasts we have the one the only shelly luther who is making national news now she's the owner of 0.99

00:11:36.760 the dallas salon salon a la mode welcome shelly how are you i'm great thanks for having me

00:11:44.340 please tell me you serve ice cream with a haircut that probably wouldn't be sanitary

00:11:51.280 um but all the mode actually means trendy or fashionable ah does it really i always thought

00:11:57.420 it meant with ice cream on top um anyway it does so yeah okay so you have 19 uh stylists that are

00:12:04.780 working at your one location and you do nails and hair and eyebrows and and all of that stuff

00:12:10.940 and we do all that friday friday you were issued a citation from the police because you decided to

00:12:18.260 open your salon and then you tore the citation up and said i'm not anyone special i just know that i

00:12:24.280 have rights tell me about that sort of yeah that's that's close to the story um the police were sent

00:12:31.200 here by tdlr which is texas department of licensing and regulations and honestly the dallas police

00:12:37.880 department was very cordial and gracious and it looked like they were almost embarrassed to be there

00:12:43.920 because they were on my side they even said we're on your side um but they always send the police

00:12:50.040 officers to come out and they all all they were doing was confirming that i was open they said they

00:12:55.040 had to um write me a citation and gave me a case number and that went back to tdlr um so that happened

00:13:03.120 and then later on in the day the um city of dallas the dfc like the violence ordinance violation

00:13:11.680 people came out and said you need to shut down i'm like i'm not shutting down um and so they left

00:13:17.600 for about an hour and came back with a letter from our county judge judge clay jenkins um in dallas

00:13:24.840 that said you must cease and desist uh desist business at 1 p.m um or you could be charged with

00:13:32.100 a misdemeanor or you know have a civil issue on your hands basically threatening to sue me

00:13:39.080 um and the cease and desist letter is what i actually tore up at the open texas rally

00:13:44.040 and what did he what did he say because i hear he said i'm guided by science i don't know what you're

00:13:51.240 guided by i have no idea what he said he hasn't reached out to me directly which i kind of have a

00:13:58.260 problem with um because i feel like if he either came to the salon or we could discuss all of the

00:14:05.300 sanitation training that my stylists have to get their license um it's quite ridiculous that we

00:14:11.600 are the ones shut down when next door there's a dog grooming business that is essential and they're

00:14:17.500 open unbelievable so what is what was it that made you say enough is enough i'm opening

00:14:25.960 well um when they kept pushing back um all of the dates you know they would set a date push it back

00:14:34.020 set a date push it back and when i called the um texas unemployment agency not joking 573 times

00:14:43.380 in one day and i still didn't get an answer i said this is enough i'm just going to open because i've

00:14:48.460 not received any money from the government where is this going to go from here do you think

00:14:57.100 um well governor greg abbott as we know is supposed to speak today at 230 um he better open texas

00:15:06.360 completely um or he's going to have a lot of people that are going to be upset with him

00:15:12.080 so i'm just waiting to see what he says and um he actually what if he says what if he says i'm going

00:15:19.980 to leave it up to the cities to decide well right now dallas um dallas county is until may 15th

00:15:27.720 that's not going to make me close down um i'm hoping a lot of people are calling to say how do

00:15:32.940 we help you i say open your business because they can't put us all in jail um so we all have to stand

00:15:40.160 up now's the time for us to stand up because if we don't take back our civil liberties right now i

00:15:46.220 don't know when we ever can what about the people that would say that you're being irresponsible you

00:15:53.000 know because we're in the middle of a pandemic well i would say if they have seen the real science and

00:15:59.540 not you know the fake news they would understand that we're going above and beyond any guidelines

00:16:05.080 that the cdc is giving as far as sanitation because hairstylists already um have that knowledge

00:16:11.900 um no one has to come into the salon i'm not making the stylist clients nobody they don't have

00:16:20.280 to come in here so it is your right if you want to stay home but if people need to get back to work

00:16:25.740 to feed their families let them do it all right so let me ask you this shelly and i i this a personal

00:16:34.760 thing for me my uh producer on my tv show her name is ricky um her roots are atrocious right now i mean 0.99

00:16:46.240 it's bad it's really bad i mean glenn i cannot talk right now well i'm just i'm just wondering if you

00:16:56.840 can get her in right away if i if i gave her the address if you could get her in because i just 0.99

00:17:01.840 we're doing zoom calls every day and it's like i'm talking to a reverse skunk

00:17:06.120 that's not fair but we absolutely we're taking walk-ins so anybody we actually had a gentleman fly

00:17:15.720 in from colorado just to get his haircut to support us and then i just had a gentleman call me from

00:17:21.800 pennsylvania that he says the airfare is so cheap i'm coming to get a haircut and getting a picture

00:17:26.540 with you oh my gosh oh my gosh i'm getting messages from south africa of people supporting

00:17:32.200 me um the united kingdom um and the amount of support compared to the people that are

00:17:37.820 um not happy with me i mean i would say 98 of the people are backing me and behind me

00:17:43.600 and so that's been really exciting and it helps keep the motivation moving forward

00:17:49.660 and shelly do you think it's because i mean everybody wants to stay safe but you're behind

00:17:55.980 in your mortgage i'm guessing uh your stylists are behind in their mortgage and yes and it's like

00:18:02.880 enough is enough enough is enough um and besides these ordinances and that's what they are they're

00:18:09.680 not laws these ordinances these people think that they can put on us um especially without a vote

00:18:16.400 um and a lot of them are done by a single person saying well i'm getting information from these

00:18:21.960 people no you do not have the right to do that you do not um and enough is enough and so we're

00:18:29.020 working and we haven't shut down since friday and we have plenty of business and i'm thanking

00:18:33.720 everybody for the free marketing if uh well you're welcome if uh ricky comes in uh take care of her

00:18:41.340 because it's woof uh but uh but take care of her and uh and also consider my ice cream with every

00:18:48.500 with every haircut i think it might work we might serve some outside just for sanitation reasons

00:18:53.560 i would definitely consider that just for you all right shelly thank you so much that's uh shelly

00:18:59.240 luther she is the uh salon owner here in dallas that has reopened her business despite the stay-at-home 0.99

00:19:06.540 orders and even the orders uh from a judge saying you're violating i don't know some sort of ban that

00:19:13.920 you know we could send you to the pound people jail won't take you but we'll send you to the

00:19:18.880 pound i'll tell you that right now this is the best of the glenbeck program and don't forget rate us on

00:19:28.560 itunes this is the glenbeck program uh one of our blaze tv hosts is uh chad prather i i just love this

00:19:41.980 guy he is um a lot of people describe him as kind of a jeff foxworthy i think he's more like will

00:19:47.860 rogers uh he's really intelligent backed by real fat i mean not the jeff fox where he isn't but backed

00:19:53.720 by uh facts and really just takes on the the ills of society in a very fun and common sense way uh

00:20:01.860 welcome chad prather how are you hey i'm doing good glenn you know i miss you around here you

00:20:06.780 remember the good old days when i used to see you and i try to say hi and security would tackle me

00:20:11.220 yeah oh man security was just saying can we go and just tackle chad for uh you know just for old

00:20:18.500 time sakes yeah exactly no i'm doing great man hanging in there you need a haircut

00:20:22.640 you're doing that on purpose thank you uh no i just need a haircut um so chad let's talk about

00:20:30.520 your special you uh let's uh let's uh go back and look at your special let me play a clip from your

00:20:40.000 special that just started airing now on blaze tv and it is on surveillance this clip is apparently

00:20:47.000 you discussing what australia is doing to try to trace covet 19 listen let me tell you what happened

00:20:53.360 last week in australia australia uh they've got a basically a covet trace app prime minister scott

00:21:01.600 morrison declared on saturday the covet trace app set to be launched in the coming weeks would be

00:21:07.160 voluntary and he was seeking people's cooperation to quote help our health workers to protect our

00:21:13.280 community and help get our economy going again so they're trying to convince australians to use

00:21:21.120 software uh to basically track this stuff so um one person said i treasure the government knowing as

00:21:32.060 little about me as possible there's always the argument if you've done nothing wrong you've got

00:21:37.160 nothing to worry about my argument is if i'm no concern you need know nothing about me that's true

00:21:44.440 uh it's happening in uh serbia uh this uh one journalist was arrested for upsetting the public

00:21:54.960 that's a quote um and talking about kind of exposing some things of you know talking about the lack of

00:22:03.340 equipment in one of these clinics and and their unpreparedness and you you can't report on stuff

00:22:08.620 like that in certain places so chad um you are disturbed by the reaction of covid or our reaction

00:22:20.600 to not caring about some of this stuff well i think glenn that we've always known that somebody's

00:22:25.820 watching right we we know that somebody's listening in the scary thing that covid has done or the

00:22:31.100 circumstance is that now we're encouraging it almost i mean all the way to you know the government

00:22:37.520 asking neighbors to report on big crowds of people or people that aren't distancing and we're giving

00:22:42.980 away those freedoms and it's open to pandora's box you remember back in 2001 richard reed tries to

00:22:48.920 set off a shoe bomb on a plane and now all of us have to go through tsa checkpoints and take our

00:22:55.500 shoes off every time we fly uh all because of one guy one guy and it changed how we travel forever

00:23:04.440 now look at what's going on with this we have this pandemic this virus uh whatever you want to label

00:23:10.680 this thing as it has now changed everything and one of the biggest things that we're seeing is that now

00:23:15.520 we are a nation under surveillance uh you have not only neighbors watching you you have apple that has

00:23:22.860 come out with uh special apps uh an app i should say for the iphone you can put your earbuds in

00:23:29.440 you can leave your iphone it's it's sold under the guise of a hearing aid you can leave your phone

00:23:35.420 in the room in the conference room and say excuse me i gotta i need to run to the restroom and you can

00:23:39.700 listen to everything that's being said in the conference room in your absence because it's

00:23:43.280 transmitting over to your earbuds so this this surveillance if you will is gone all the way down to

00:23:49.420 the individual citizen level and it's really kind of frightening we go into you know the last week's

00:23:55.700 episode about surveillance we uncovered so much stuff that's going on that people don't realize

00:23:59.580 that we decided to do more episodes and we're going to be doing that this week discussing this topic but

00:24:04.260 we share some really shocking footage of drones being used in china and the facial recognition and their

00:24:12.260 means of communicating and spying on people and so many nations around the world are taking their

00:24:18.380 cues from china they're actually doing oh yeah what china has been doing for years and you think china 0.83

00:24:25.660 is selling it to us they're selling it to us and people think that that's not happening here in

00:24:29.860 america but it is elizabeth new jersey just recently uh had to come out and say look we're we're not

00:24:36.220 monitoring you we're going to use drones but it's only going to be to tell you if you need to social

00:24:42.420 distance so imagine you're out walking down the street you're with your family uh you're just out

00:24:48.460 for a little stroll and a drone flies up behind you and starts hovering over you telling you well

00:24:55.020 hey uh you're not wearing a mask you need to go back home you need to get your mask on before you

00:24:59.580 come back in or you guys are not far enough apart these are the kind of things that are being done

00:25:04.700 not in china but they're actually being done in states around america and that's frightening

00:25:10.080 i uh saw a story today the first city that i know of that uh said no to drones the police department

00:25:19.200 bought all these drones up in westport connecticut of all places and uh and the the resident said you

00:25:26.560 are not flying drones over to make sure that we don't have a fever apparently these drones could tell

00:25:31.640 if somebody had a fever up to 190 feet away and uh they said you're not flying these drones over the

00:25:37.860 city and told the police return the drones and they did yeah but that's the first time i've heard

00:25:43.300 anybody complaining about these right and that's the problem it's going to become the norm and that's

00:25:48.480 what happened you remember after uh 9-11 and they enacted the patriot act and it went from trying to

00:25:56.020 find information and background on individuals that we considered may be terrorists to all the way down

00:26:01.480 to being able to collect data for from anyone you have right now you have axiom and other data brokers

00:26:08.120 that are out there who are doing what's called micro targeting so let's say if i'm an employer

00:26:11.680 and i want to find a blonde-headed female who's voted republican in the past she's 23 years old and 1.00

00:26:17.580 owns a labrador retriever i can micro target that and it will in a few moments give me a list of people

00:26:24.020 that detailed that i can choose from these are the kind of things that are going on we now have video game

00:26:30.060 technology which is actually tracking your body positions let's say you're playing uh you know one

00:26:35.500 of these war games that are on there and you're in this will actually track how you would function

00:26:41.760 in that scenario and it records that go all the way down to the things we have don't just forget about

00:26:47.580 siri and and google play and alexa in your house we've got bluetooth enabled robot vacuum cleaners that

00:26:55.140 can map the blueprint of your house if they want to we've allowed these things into our homes so if

00:27:01.360 we're willing to go down to that level how much more are we willing to allow a drone that can be

00:27:07.160 hundreds of feet or yards away and still track what you're doing it's frightening i don't think that

00:27:13.300 there's going to be i think that's what we're headed for i think we are headed for a world of

00:27:17.940 of uh brave new world you know i've always said that 1984 is china yeah but the west will be brave

00:27:24.980 new world we'll embrace it for our own safety yeah and i heard that's the problem yeah and i heard you

00:27:29.900 say a good while ago said you know it's not 1984 george orwell that we're worried about so much as

00:27:34.400 it's algis huxley and that is exactly what we're seeing enacted in this thing and you know i try you

00:27:39.860 the chad prather show we try to take a humorous look at things but we also try to put common sense out

00:27:45.080 there you know on on stew does america stew tries to do the same thing the only difference is stew's

00:27:49.780 actually funny and uh we but we have you know every now and then it's time to just step back and

00:27:56.980 take a look at this thing and say man we're we're really getting screwed in this thing uh i kind of 0.96

00:28:02.480 feel like you were talking earlier on the show about the rats with the bombs up their butt except 0.94

00:28:05.920 now we have surveillance measures people are listening and people are watching and we're letting

00:28:09.700 the rats in the house and not even noticing them because they're everyday household things

00:28:13.260 so you know what bothers me about this is the and i talked about this what a year or so ago at least

00:28:20.840 and i put it up on the chalkboard you should be looking at that chalkboard where there's a few

00:28:24.860 things uh up there that talk about you know five i think five or six steps to to global change and one of

00:28:31.620 them is technology getting into bed with the government and this the coronavirus has done it has done it

00:28:40.780 there is a um a report that was given to the president uh and the president's cabinet last

00:28:47.580 fall that has just been released because of a foia request uh and it is from the who's who of silicon

00:28:55.860 valley and everything in it is praising china because china and the private companies have merged together

00:29:05.120 and they get rid of all the red tape for these big companies and in exchange these big companies

00:29:10.420 give all this information to the government yeah and the in this report they keep praising it saying

00:29:15.860 this is the future this is what we need to do this is how we can help well it's horrible that's exactly

00:29:21.500 right we're um we're starting to see companies like amazon and google that are partnering together to

00:29:28.580 make sure this happens and it's uh when you start thinking about companies that are that big i mean

00:29:35.240 if you've seen what amazon's trading at right now i mean outrageous how big and consuming all consuming

00:29:42.040 that this company has become and now they're tracking every bit of our data for use and and here's the

00:29:47.920 thing glenn i'm not even the government is is looking at us listening to us and i know that's happening

00:29:53.500 but now it gets really frightening when bill de blasio the mayor of new york city comes out and

00:29:58.840 says hey if you see a large crowd we want you to take a picture and send it to local authorities

00:30:02.320 uh that is that is brown shirt kind of stuff and you have your neighbors who are actually being

00:30:09.520 rewarded for reporting these things uh and you're being fined if you're having you know let's say

00:30:14.840 you're having a barbecue and some of the family and friends come over there and you're not social

00:30:18.280 distancing enough what we've done is is is kind of like a modern day uh miss kravitz who's

00:30:23.480 looking through the bent blinds and and trying to see what she can find out about the neighbors

00:30:27.820 uh and the more we do that and the more we're tempted to be that uh tattletale down the street

00:30:33.920 it's almost like we have neighborhood hall monitors at this point it's kind of frightening

00:30:37.240 uh when you and only usually the the worst people are those hall monitors i mean you know it's not like

00:30:45.200 the ones who are real libertarian are like yeah leave everybody alone yeah uh those people don't

00:30:50.740 become hall monitors i don't know at what point in time we're going to wake up to the realization

00:30:55.260 that for millennia uh humanity has proved that people are not inherently good and we really do

00:31:02.940 bad things to one another when given power we're starting to see that we we've had our complaints

00:31:07.560 about congress people and senators now we're seeing it uh not only in governors of states but in mayors of

00:31:12.960 city that are really overstepping bounds uh you know we could sit here and say that the

00:31:17.960 restrictions have been listed uh lifted i read that in a document uh it was kind of an old document

00:31:22.680 it was written in 1776 uh but here we are willing to give up those freedoms and those rights

00:31:29.400 willingly for a false sense of security uh to to make us think that everything's going to be okay

00:31:35.860 will america go back to being the way it was six months ago i truly don't believe that it will

00:31:40.560 i don't think so either everybody keeps in this bothers me every time i hear it it bothers me

00:31:45.680 they keep talking about going back to a new normal yeah that's sort of like whenever uh it's like

00:31:51.600 when oprah and them kept using that term my truth uh there's no my truth there's truth uh there's

00:31:58.480 no new normal there's normal uh we've never truly been able to define what normal is normal for me is

00:32:04.160 not normal for you uh god knows normal for you isn't like normal for the rest of the world glenn

00:32:08.980 so uh hey look at look at this glenn i wonder if we can see this i you know you've got the

00:32:15.160 paintings of the mask i found a painting of beck look can you see that in the camera right there

00:32:19.500 look at that i just threw the mask wow that's good there it is like a 12

00:32:25.400 i look like a 12 you do look like you're 12 all right thank you so much uh chad you can you can
