The Glenn Beck Program - Best of the Program ｜ Guests： Tim Ballard & Karen Vaughn ｜ 5⧸7⧸19

00:00:00.260 Hello, you sick freak. Welcome to our podcast for Tuesday. 0.99

00:00:04.480 We talked a lot about the border today because it's on fire.

00:00:08.480 Or as they like to say, south of the border and the fuego.

00:00:14.460 So we start with a really interesting story on, you know, the southern border.

00:00:20.020 And it kind of morphs all the way through the show because it is on such fire.

00:00:25.740 We have Tim Ballard, who's at the border, telling us what it's really like.

00:00:31.000 And then we end the podcast with Karen Vaughn, who is this amazing gold star mother who's just down on the border. 0.99

00:00:39.140 And she is sick and tired of what is happening.

00:00:42.380 And she's actually giving you some solutions on that.

00:00:47.360 You know who else is giving solutions? Cory Booker.

00:00:49.720 Cory Booker. He's great. Well, not so great as much as horrible.

00:00:53.400 He will be on the Socialist Spotlight tonight.

00:00:57.500 That's the program. We've been doing this for four or five candidates now.

00:01:01.920 Yeah. Anyway, we're doing all the candidates, kind of a profile of all the things that you need to know.

00:01:07.560 Tonight is Cory Booker.

00:01:08.900 If you go to blazetv.com slash Glenn and use the promo code Glenn, you will save some money.

00:01:14.220 And you'll also be able to see this entire series as they develop.

00:01:17.620 We've done Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders, Kamala Harris, Cory Booker, maybe one or two others.

00:01:26.660 I don't remember. But they're all really good.

00:01:28.740 And it's a lot of information you're not seeing from the mainstream media.

00:01:30.900 And Cory Booker, as we will get in a little bit today and tomorrow's podcast,

00:01:35.060 Cory Booker is not as Spartacus as he would have you believe.

00:01:40.460 That and so much more on today's podcast.

00:01:50.000 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:01:53.920 When the migrant caravans cross the river and the International Bridge, 1.00

00:02:03.560 Aidan Lopez springs into action.

00:02:06.660 He shuts down his shop and takes cover.

00:02:09.880 Like many merchants along the southern border,

00:02:13.720 Lopez, 59, said his business is suffering due to a recent escalation in crime committed by migrants. 0.96

00:02:20.340 Many of them are now calling for the Mexican government to shut its doors.

00:02:27.240 Oh, I forgot to tell you, the southern border I'm talking about is the southern border of Mexico.

00:02:34.620 This is how bad things are on the Mexican border.

00:02:39.720 Lopez, 59, owns a stall selling blue jeans in this city of nearly 15,000 people on the southern tip of Mexico.

00:02:47.840 Since last October, thousands of mostly Central American asylum seekers have overwhelmed his city,

00:02:55.860 which is just steps from a bridge connecting Mexico to Guatemala.

00:03:01.280 With no other place to go, many camp out in the town square and beg.

00:03:07.460 We know, he says, they're not all bad people.

00:03:10.660 But when they started to come through, there was suddenly a lot of robberies and assaults.

00:03:14.940 So now we've got a multitude crossing the border. 0.98

00:03:18.420 We just closed the shop.

00:03:21.120 At first, many tried to help the migrants by distributing food and water.

00:03:25.080 But when they started arriving by the tens of thousands, local merchants were overwhelmed.

00:03:30.660 Now they're asking us for help, and we can't help everyone.

00:03:33.940 This is from an owner of an outdoor restaurant in the town square,

00:03:39.940 where recently arrived migrants from Central America and Haiti beg for food, beg for water.

00:03:45.560 We have a lot of migrants, and they've caused a lot of problems here. 1.00

00:03:49.560 Garcia, 61, told the reporter.

00:03:52.780 They've robbed and assaulted people.

00:03:54.640 We have a dead person here or a dead person over there.

00:03:56.940 They're constantly begging.

00:03:58.240 They urinate in the streets.

00:03:59.540 And we know they're human beings.

00:04:01.160 We know they don't have a place to go, but we don't want them here anymore.

00:04:08.380 A spike in crime is forcing shopkeepers to close before dark, keeping tourists away.

00:04:15.420 It's sad what's happening in our town.

00:04:18.140 We can't receive in our home people that we don't know anything about.

00:04:22.160 Let me say that one again.

00:04:23.520 This is again from a Mexican citizen on the Mexican southern border.

00:04:29.660 We cannot receive in our home who we don't know anything about.

00:04:35.280 Last week, in Mexico, the Regional Chamber of Commerce accused the Central American gangs of committing most of the city's crimes.

00:04:42.860 We have a lot of problems at the southern border, he said.

00:04:48.300 Truly sad that this could cost us the development of the entire region.

00:04:53.280 With no place to stay and few resources, thousands of migrant camps outside of the federal immigration detention center there in Mexico,

00:05:01.700 waiting for documents that will allow them to cross through central Mexico to get to America.

00:05:08.220 Some live in the main square, they hang their wet laundry on park fences and they sleep on sidewalks.

00:05:15.440 At the immigration center, pregnant women lie on the concrete pavement and desperate parents beg passers-by for food for their children.

00:05:25.180 Last week, dozens clambered around a blue pickup carrying crates of bananas that were being handed out by a local police, by a local priest.

00:05:37.140 This is what's happening on the southern border of Mexico.

00:05:41.020 I got a call last night.

00:05:43.640 It's just as bad on our border.

00:05:46.280 And we have to have a conversation about this.

00:05:54.340 Stu, is a prediction an endorsement?

00:05:59.000 Because I don't.

00:06:00.000 Is it a prediction?

00:06:00.340 Well, no, because you could predict something terrible, right, and not be endorsing.

00:06:03.800 Correct.

00:06:04.400 So before I say this, I want to make sure I'm not hurting Donald Trump's chances of being re-elected.

00:06:09.420 Oh, no.

00:06:09.740 Because if I endorse someone, it's the kiss of death.

00:06:14.660 We know that.

00:06:15.380 We know that's true.

00:06:16.380 We know that's true.

00:06:17.000 That's not a prediction.

00:06:17.640 Whoever I say, that's the guy I'm for.

00:06:20.280 Doomed.

00:06:20.880 Yes.

00:06:21.480 Right?

00:06:21.880 Mm-hmm.

00:06:22.420 So I don't want to endorse Donald Trump.

00:06:24.680 Mm-hmm.

00:06:28.040 But I'm going to make a prediction.

00:06:29.880 Stop me.

00:06:30.960 If you think this hurts.

00:06:32.800 I'm stopping you.

00:06:35.880 I'm stopping you for a hundred different reasons.

00:06:38.100 But you are, how about this?

00:06:40.300 Can you assign it to someone else?

00:06:42.060 Can you say, I heard, I was in a Dunkin' Donuts yesterday.

00:06:45.180 I was in a Dunkin' Donuts yesterday.

00:06:47.060 And I heard some, you know, just some homeless guy talking, mumbling, saying crazy things.

00:06:53.700 People will totally believe, obviously, that you were in a Dunkin' Donuts yesterday.

00:06:56.980 So this is a very, wait a minute, you didn't need to make this about fatness.

00:06:59.600 I mean, you could have said one of any seven or eight Dunkin' Donuts you were in yesterday.

00:07:02.120 All right, all right, all right.

00:07:03.340 Anyway, I think the way the Democrats have handled this, they own the border.

00:07:10.420 They own it.

00:07:11.940 And when people see the humanitarian crisis, when they see the sex slave industry that is 0.94

00:07:21.820 being grown by the Democrats, to biblical proportions, when they see the chaos, when they see the damage

00:07:31.140 to the churches and to the businesses and to the towns and to the American cities all across

00:07:37.940 our southern border, the devastation and the blight that is coming, Donald Trump wins the next

00:07:48.080 election because I don't care what anybody says, even the economy, even the economy may be blamed

00:07:58.060 on the border crisis in 18 months.

00:08:02.580 Texas right now stands to lose 292,000 jobs and $32 billion just in trade over the next 18 months

00:08:14.500 because of the slowdown on the border.

00:08:19.140 Now, here's what's happening.

00:08:20.640 We have, you know, these trucks that are coming in and they're coming from Mexico and Central America.

00:08:26.620 Well, all those trucks, they got across the border.

00:08:29.880 So we have our cheap goods that we buy in Walmart and our fruits and vegetables and everything else

00:08:35.360 that we buy from South America.

00:08:37.440 So as these trucks are coming across the border, there are not enough inspectors

00:08:42.080 because the inspectors are busy setting up cots.

00:08:47.500 The inspectors are busy out trying to stop people from coming where they're not coming through a port of entry.

00:08:54.540 So we can't inspect the trucks fast enough.

00:08:59.240 And because of this slowdown, prices are going to go through the roof.

00:09:04.220 People are going to lose their jobs.

00:09:07.340 China will just eat that, that the, the, the, the loss up for us. 0.96

00:09:16.560 They'll just start producing it.

00:09:18.480 But if we are sending, if we are sending things across the border, it's also in slowdown there.

00:09:26.800 Because Mexico, Mexico is slowing down too.

00:09:32.860 Because Mexico is draining its resources.

00:09:36.180 Now, I don't really care what happens to Mexico in many ways because they brought it upon themselves. 1.00

00:09:41.640 That's their problem.

00:09:43.540 Our problem is here.

00:09:46.280 Our towns.

00:09:48.480 Our children.

00:09:50.580 And their problems getting worse makes our problems at the border worse.

00:09:54.520 Because more people want to run away.

00:09:55.780 Correct.

00:09:56.580 This is just going to cascade.

00:09:58.420 This is going to go to where, I mean, I, I talked about this off air for a very long time.

00:10:04.500 I don't even know if I've said it on air before.

00:10:06.640 We are headed towards a, a time when you will see massive rushes.

00:10:15.000 I think I've been saying this since I was in Israel.

00:10:17.480 Massive rushes across our southern border.

00:10:20.660 It will get to the point where people will be killing farmers for food.

00:10:25.160 And then it will turn into killing farmers for the land.

00:10:27.860 And they'll say, this is my land.

00:10:29.220 You stole it from us centuries ago.

00:10:33.260 And they'll just start claiming land.

00:10:36.640 And it's going to happen.

00:10:39.500 How are the police in these border towns expected to survive?

00:10:44.940 Do you realize that right now the federal government, because of the Democrats, not funding security,

00:10:54.800 right now in, let's just say, pick a city.

00:10:59.500 Las Cruces, New Mexico.

00:11:02.580 I just got a call from, what's his name?

00:11:08.900 Tim Ballard last night.

00:11:10.760 He was in New Mexico.

00:11:12.660 He said, Glenn, do you realize that they are dumping a thousand people a day in this small town?

00:11:20.940 In 24 days, that increases your population by 24,000.

00:11:27.820 24,000.

00:11:29.680 And they have nothing.

00:11:32.180 They don't have food.

00:11:33.340 They don't have water.

00:11:34.140 They don't have a place to stay.

00:11:35.720 They have no money.

00:11:36.840 What are those towns supposed to do? 0.94

00:11:40.860 Well, all of the churches right now, they're all setting up because they've got to be compassionate.

00:11:46.760 So what do you do?

00:11:48.040 You set up your gym and your church and your church yard and you put tents up and, you know,

00:11:55.380 we'll try to get you water and food.

00:11:57.160 They can't survive.

00:11:58.260 Five, the churches are broke.

00:12:02.240 The cities now are having to take money from other funds.

00:12:07.060 So what are you going to do?

00:12:08.460 What are you going to take it from?

00:12:10.140 Policing?

00:12:11.920 How many of your police right now are working in border towns just to keep up with the thousand people a day?

00:12:19.860 Our federal government is just bussing in, opening up the doors and saying, you're on your own.

00:12:27.520 Because that's what they have to do.

00:12:30.660 These women and children.

00:12:33.560 These women and children that are given names from bad guys on the other side of the border.

00:12:38.900 By the way, when you get across, somebody will become looking for you.

00:12:44.000 That's his name.

00:12:46.060 He's your uncle.

00:12:47.140 And what are the churches supposed to do when the churches know that guy is not a good guy?

00:12:54.480 That guy is going to put that child in jeopardy.

00:13:00.020 What are the churches supposed to do?

00:13:02.180 Are they supposed to stand up to the bad guy and say, you're not taking this child?

00:13:09.200 It's happening all the time.

00:13:12.020 These cities and these churches are collapsing on our border.

00:13:17.140 They have nothing more to give.

00:13:20.020 It's exactly what's happening on the southern border of Mexico.

00:13:24.180 Except it's happening here in America.

00:13:26.920 And what are we doing? 0.89

00:13:28.460 We're talking about the freaking Mueller report still. 0.99

00:13:32.100 You Democrats are out of your mind. 1.00

00:13:38.140 You're out of your mind. 1.00

00:13:40.560 You're telling us about all the different genders.

00:13:44.260 I'm telling you, I am telling you, a massive loss is coming when what's happening at our border is exposed.

00:13:52.720 Because there is no compassion from the left.

00:13:57.660 There is no compassion.

00:14:00.880 What they're doing is destroying lives on all sides.

00:14:06.460 We have to have compassion.

00:14:09.480 And we have to have rule of law.

00:14:11.760 And if the right can do those two things, Donald Trump wins an overwhelming victory.

00:14:24.460 More in a second.

00:14:25.460 You know, I just want to, can we just go over for a second?

00:14:38.540 Let's make a list of the things that the Democrats are so out of touch with the average American person.

00:14:48.640 Okay?

00:14:49.860 Venezuela.

00:14:51.400 They're on the wrong side of Venezuela. 0.62

00:14:54.100 Clearly, I think.

00:14:55.440 Okay?

00:14:56.280 Clearly on the wrong side of Venezuela.

00:14:59.000 The free market and socialism.

00:15:01.460 Now, that one's not as clear because so many people hate capitalism now.

00:15:06.600 But once people really get that, that they really are about the end of the free market system, that is going to be horrible for them.

00:15:15.940 And it's definitely what Republicans believe.

00:15:17.360 There's a story today about Republicans praying for Bernie Sanders to be the candidate.

00:15:21.680 Because they think they can beat him.

00:15:24.900 Yeah, I think so, too.

00:15:26.260 It's scary, though.

00:15:26.860 I mean, if you lose, the stakes are even higher than another candidate.

00:15:31.100 The border.

00:15:32.740 MS-13.

00:15:33.800 They said that's nothing to worry about.

00:15:35.680 Now they're making a big deal out of MS-13.

00:15:37.720 Yeah, they said Donald Trump was hyping MS-13.

00:15:39.580 The border.

00:15:40.140 They're the ones saying that there wasn't a crisis.

00:15:42.180 We need to show them the crisis.

00:15:44.000 Israel.

00:15:45.480 Israel.

00:15:46.300 They're on the side of the Palestinians and anti-Israel.

00:15:49.680 Not just on the side of the Palestinians. 0.91

00:15:52.440 Anti-Israel.

00:15:54.520 On care.

00:15:56.360 On the Philadelphia story.

00:15:58.760 They were nowhere to be found on this story that came out yesterday about this mosque in Philadelphia

00:16:05.140 having this little pageant with kids where they were taught to sing songs and recite poetry about beheading the infidels 1.00

00:16:13.840 and washing Jerusalem in blood. 0.53

00:16:17.720 I mean, it's intense.

00:16:21.280 Can you think of anything else?

00:16:22.560 What are the things that have said lately that you've thought, this is insane?

00:16:31.780 I can't believe they're taking this stand.

00:16:34.260 Is no one seeing it?

00:16:35.580 When I saw the Philadelphia thing, they don't care.

00:16:39.280 But, you know, the average person's not going to see that one.

00:16:42.500 No.

00:16:43.080 When I saw where their stance is on Venezuela, the average people, you know, they are going to see Venezuela.

00:16:50.460 I mean, Ilhan Omar with her anti-Semitism, it was a big one.

00:16:58.120 Some of the stances that Democrats are taking, I mean, you look at, you know, expanding the Supreme Court,

00:17:07.740 you know, abolishing the Electoral College, you know, Medicare for all, more, you know, reparations.

00:17:17.160 I mean, the late-term abortion thing is one that we could spend a lot of time on.

00:17:25.700 Silencing speech.

00:17:29.200 I'm just writing this down.

00:17:30.460 I mean, late-term abortion is another great one. 0.90

00:17:32.480 Yeah, I mean, late-term abortion, there are no candidates. 0.89

00:17:36.660 As far as I know, there's 21 candidates in this field.

00:17:39.680 We always hear, what a diverse field.

00:17:41.020 21 candidates in this field.

00:17:42.580 I don't think there's any of them that have come out against abortions up till the last second before birth.

00:17:51.120 There's not one, they couldn't find one candidate in the field who was like, no, only eight and a half months?

00:17:57.040 None of them?

00:17:58.180 Not one?

00:18:00.000 I mean, that's incredible.

00:18:01.740 This is a party that used to actually have people in it who were pro-life.

00:18:06.060 We're going back a ways now.

00:18:07.980 But, I mean, people who actually would be pro-life Democrats.

00:18:11.480 I mean, do you remember when we did, you know, Bart Stupak?

00:18:15.200 Do you remember that name?

00:18:16.120 This is back from the Obama days.

00:18:17.820 He was one of the guys who was a congressman, and he was very pro-life, supposedly, despite his, you know.

00:18:23.700 Oh, that's right.

00:18:24.160 And then he came up with a Stupak amendment, and that was what got Obamacare through.

00:18:28.440 Yeah, it was this big thing.

00:18:29.800 How are you feeling about that, Bart?

00:18:30.960 I mean, if he actually was pro-life, and I hope, you know, who knows if he's just putting on a face for voters.

00:18:37.200 But, I mean, if he actually was, he's got to be incredibly disappointed.

00:18:40.180 Disappointed?

00:18:40.680 It's gone completely the opposite way of what was promised to him.

00:18:43.940 And it's no surprise to anyone except him at the time.

00:18:48.900 All right.

00:18:49.480 We are going to talk to you a little bit about the border and what we need to do.

00:18:57.140 We need to organize ourselves, quite honestly, and begin to expose the human toll and the human cost of our border out of control.

00:19:13.740 Well, we begin that today, and we're going to need you to help spread the word.

00:19:18.240 Trump needs the money for the wall.

00:19:23.700 The best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:19:32.080 Hey, it's Glenn, and if you like what you hear on the program, you should check out Pat Gray Unleashed.

00:19:37.540 His podcast is available wherever you download your favorite podcast.

00:19:41.040 But I heard you lying about what's going on at the border.

00:19:44.240 I just, I can't let it stand.

00:19:46.180 You got to laugh.

00:19:47.100 I was giggling to myself.

00:19:49.160 Yeah, right.

00:19:50.200 Lies are so apparent.

00:19:51.540 Yeah, obvious.

00:19:52.680 I mean, just blatant obvious lies.

00:19:54.800 Like what?

00:19:55.120 Like some of these people are increasing crime along the border.

00:20:01.320 We all know that can't happen.

00:20:03.780 These are good, decent, hardworking family people.

00:20:07.740 That's who's coming across the border.

00:20:09.080 Hey, Pat, let me just, may I just interrupt?

00:20:11.140 Many of these people are up for sainthood.

00:20:12.900 I don't know if you're aware of that.

00:20:13.900 Well, let me ask you this.

00:20:14.940 Let me ask you this.

00:20:15.560 Some of them actually might be, but even if they were, even if they were the best, you

00:20:20.800 ever read Victor Hugo's Les Miserables?

00:20:23.540 I have, yes.

00:20:24.120 Okay, so, you know, Jean Valjean, he was, he broke a window to steal a loaf of bread because

00:20:30.300 his sister's child was starving.

00:20:32.580 None of these people are that evil.

00:20:33.940 None of them.

00:20:34.260 None of them.

00:20:34.760 Not that evil.

00:20:35.340 Not one of them.

00:20:35.880 Not one of them.

00:20:36.420 No.

00:20:36.800 Wow.

00:20:37.200 Because when you dump a thousand people into a small town every single day, another thousand 0.99

00:20:42.960 come in.

00:20:43.380 You imagine that?

00:20:45.300 That's...

00:20:45.860 No town can survive that.

00:20:47.700 No way.

00:20:48.320 And no country can survive a million and a half people you don't know coming in. 1.00

00:20:53.480 Of course not.

00:20:54.280 Every year.

00:20:54.800 Let me ask you this.

00:20:55.520 You dump a thousand people into a town, even if they're all saints, at one point, those

00:21:03.760 thousand people in a town of 15,000 or 20,000 and they don't have anything and you're in

00:21:10.540 your home and you've got your job and you've got your food, they're starving.

00:21:16.060 What do you think happens even to the best of people?

00:21:19.280 You don't have to guess because we do see it going on.

00:21:21.540 Jeez.

00:21:21.980 And it's going on in Mexico, the Mexicans who were welcoming them with open arms as

00:21:27.980 they crossed the border and they were helping them and feeding them and giving them water

00:21:32.080 and places to go to the bathroom and all these things, medical care, they're a little less

00:21:37.000 welcoming now.

00:21:37.940 Yeah, they are.

00:21:38.800 A little less welcoming.

00:21:39.860 And I mean, there's story after story about how, okay, enough.

00:21:44.680 After a while, you just can't sustain it.

00:21:46.640 They're talking about...

00:21:47.320 Democrats talk about sustainability every day.

00:21:50.140 Wait a minute.

00:21:50.440 This is unsustainable.

00:21:51.760 Wait a minute.

00:21:52.120 Are you saying it's like if your country is a lifeboat, if you don't control it, people

00:21:58.980 will swamp the lifeboat and you'll all die?

00:22:01.320 What a concept.

00:22:02.120 What a concept.

00:22:03.780 What a concept.

00:22:04.680 It seems to be a concept that Democrats can't understand, though.

00:22:07.580 As this is going on and as people see this happening every single day, you know, and I heard

00:22:13.240 you guys talking about this a few minutes ago, the open borders, that's what they want.

00:22:16.940 They want open borders.

00:22:17.740 They want to eliminate ICE.

00:22:19.520 I mean, you're going to eliminate ICE during this crisis?

00:22:22.900 I think when people understand this, I'm going down to the border this weekend and bring

00:22:28.780 some cameras and I'm going to show you what I see.

00:22:31.420 Remember, the last time I did this, we saw what?

00:22:35.240 Oh, children in cages.

00:22:36.880 Yeah.

00:22:37.200 Children in cages.

00:22:38.360 And because we went down with a heart, we went down, we had credibility when those cages 0.97

00:22:44.940 were exposed by that evil Donald Trump.

00:22:47.280 We were able to say, no, no, no, no.

00:22:51.080 We exposed those under Obama.

00:22:53.960 You didn't care.

00:22:55.740 And we exposed them as not caring.

00:22:58.880 And when you care and you're consistent, it's not about political.

00:23:04.600 You win.

00:23:05.540 You win.

00:23:06.780 So I'm going down this weekend to the border because these churches, Pat, are absolutely

00:23:13.300 collapsing.

00:23:14.240 Oh, I believe it.

00:23:15.080 The towns are collapsing.

00:23:17.000 How are they going to survive?

00:23:20.340 They don't have the food and the water.

00:23:22.660 So the local American citizens who have been abandoned by the Democrats in Congress, abandoned

00:23:30.780 by our elected officials, what are they doing?

00:23:36.420 They don't care because they're in Washington, D.C.

00:23:38.520 They don't care.

00:23:38.980 And they're not being swamped by illegal immigration in Washington, D.C.

00:23:41.900 Can you imagine if their homes were swamped and they had to fight their way out of their

00:23:49.220 guarded, gated community?

00:23:52.000 Can you imagine how fast this would change?

00:23:54.780 Oh, it would change immediately.

00:23:57.040 Immediately.

00:23:57.700 Almost none of these people are from border states, let alone residing there now.

00:24:02.160 They're all in D.C.

00:24:03.100 But most of them are not even from a border state.

00:24:06.100 They don't know what they're talking about when they talk about immigration.

00:24:10.460 So how do you solve this?

00:24:14.080 Because people will, the left, if the left figures out a way to get down there and play

00:24:25.400 to the heart, they will win.

00:24:28.400 Because right now we're playing to the head.

00:24:31.180 And if they get down there and they play to the heart, they will win again.

00:24:35.440 Even though they've caused this crisis, they will win again.

00:24:40.640 We have to be leading on the aid in Venezuela.

00:24:47.820 We have to lead that.

00:24:50.700 Because we will have the credibility.

00:24:53.300 Millennials want to help. 0.94

00:24:55.680 They want to see people actually doing things to help.

00:24:59.680 What are we for?

00:25:01.220 I'll tell you what we're for.

00:25:02.260 We are for a country that is leading with aid, but leading also with law and order.

00:25:13.360 We are looking for a country that is just trying to, that is using common sense.

00:25:22.600 Well, that's not what we have right now.

00:25:27.320 And, you know, what are we for?

00:25:29.260 I'm for, I'm for the rule of law and I'm for helping people.

00:25:33.480 That's what I'm for.

00:25:34.540 Democrats are not for rule of law.

00:25:37.400 And quite honestly, they are not for helping people.

00:25:41.180 And we've talked about this before.

00:25:42.360 We weren't, I think we went about this the wrong way from the beginning because we were

00:25:46.480 opposed to illegal immigration.

00:25:47.960 We should have been for legal immigration. 1.00

00:25:50.360 Yes.

00:25:50.800 The whole time.

00:25:51.580 For legal immigration.

00:25:52.900 And for the people who are coming across the border, uh, learning the language so that

00:25:58.380 they can climb the ladder in this country.

00:26:01.560 We should not have been against gay marriage.

00:26:04.860 We should have been against marriage being a certificate from the government.

00:26:09.800 Right.

00:26:10.220 Yeah.

00:26:10.520 The government has no place in anyone's marriage.

00:26:14.180 And every time we approach it from a negative, we lose.

00:26:16.580 We lose.

00:26:17.480 We lose.

00:26:18.580 We've seen that time after time.

00:26:19.900 Here's what we, here's what we need to do.

00:26:21.840 We are for the rule of law, but we are also for American cities, not going bankrupt because

00:26:29.780 the government, the federal government has, has dropped the ball.

00:26:35.060 We are not for our churches going down and bankruptcy.

00:26:40.140 We are for our communities being able to have our churches be the ones that everyone relies

00:26:46.600 on, but when they are swamped, we need to help them.

00:26:51.240 And at the same time, we need to stand up strongly.

00:26:54.320 I'm telling you, Pat, when people really understand the full effects of what's going on the border,

00:26:59.960 because they made such a big deal of, you know, Jim Acosta is going to be, he's going

00:27:04.840 to be the poster child.

00:27:06.300 What crisis on the border?

00:27:08.780 That's going to be the poster child.

00:27:10.820 That should be played every day from here until the end of the election.

00:27:15.520 Sure should.

00:27:16.700 Because when they, they made such a big deal that there wasn't a crisis, a humanitarian

00:27:21.300 crisis, and now there is.

00:27:23.660 And they're mostly admitting it now, even the New York Times.

00:27:26.620 Yes.

00:27:27.320 And if we are the ones that lead with the heart and the message, fund the government, fund the

00:27:36.500 government for the border, give the money.

00:27:39.280 So we have the resources on the border to stop the insanity.

00:27:45.060 If we're saying that, and we're the ones that had the heart that were there helping Americans

00:27:51.780 and helping those truly in need, we will win.

00:27:55.960 We will win.

00:27:58.820 And Trump will walk away with a huge victory, huge victory.

00:28:03.880 And you're right.

00:28:05.200 I think, I think that was proven a few years ago when we went down there and delivered

00:28:08.260 toys and food to the kids at Christmas time, because we got a lot of flack for that initially.

00:28:15.400 But like you said, it also lent credibility that, you know, we do care.

00:28:19.660 We're not just, we're not haters.

00:28:21.480 We're the only ones with credibility when it came back around.

00:28:23.600 Yeah.

00:28:23.840 We're the only ones with credibility.

00:28:25.000 And, and you know what, it's, it's not even about toys.

00:28:29.500 It's, it's this time, it's, this is about water.

00:28:32.280 This is about water.

00:28:33.360 The towns, what are they going to do?

00:28:37.500 What, literally, what are they going to do?

00:28:39.520 Put yourself in a border town in the United States of America and you get a bus load of 1.00

00:28:45.140 a thousand immigrants a day.

00:28:47.220 Every day.

00:28:48.160 Now, can you imagine if the rest of the country was like, well, you'll have to deal with it.

00:28:53.500 He'd be like, I'm an American too.

00:28:55.380 Yeah.

00:28:55.620 I, I'm, I'm not for this.

00:28:57.340 What are you talking about?

00:28:58.720 Help me.

00:28:59.700 Well, this is, goes back to a proposal that was floated by Trump a couple of weeks ago.

00:29:04.240 And everyone thought was so hateful that you'd bring these illegal immigrants to sanctuary

00:29:08.440 cities and drop them off there.

00:29:10.740 And that's where they should go.

00:29:12.060 Exactly.

00:29:12.340 That's where they should go.

00:29:13.400 I don't understand why this is a hateful policy.

00:29:16.300 Instead, you're dumping them in small towns where they have absolutely no resources to deal

00:29:19.880 with them at all.

00:29:20.460 I mean, and, and again, how many times have we been told by the left that the sanctuary

00:29:24.480 cities are the only people who actually have compassion?

00:29:28.280 Well, if that's true, uh, you can drop them off there.

00:29:31.620 A city like San Francisco has far more resources than a border town and they say that they want

00:29:36.740 them.

00:29:36.960 I think that he should post a signup list.

00:29:38.820 Yeah.

00:29:39.320 I post a signup list online and all the mayors can go and rush to the signup list and post

00:29:44.440 which towns they are.

00:29:45.960 Wouldn't that be fascinating?

00:29:46.800 To see how many would sign up.

00:29:48.040 How many would sign up for that?

00:29:49.660 How many will take a thousand a day?

00:29:51.020 Yeah.

00:29:51.220 Some of them have said, like Seattle said, we want to bring them and like, they can be

00:29:54.620 first on the signup list.

00:29:55.800 And I think, I think Americans would on both sides of the aisle would be happy to say whatever

00:30:01.260 extended travel costs there was, they're moving them anyway.

00:30:04.640 Whatever extended travel costs there was would be worth it because here's a city that is actually

00:30:08.360 advocating to help them with all their basic needs.

00:30:10.640 Can you imagine what would happen to Seattle?

00:30:16.380 If they got 30,000 a month?

00:30:18.360 Yeah.

00:30:19.280 Again, 30,000 a month in a town like Seattle, that's just a, that's just a good, it should

00:30:23.720 be fine for them.

00:30:24.420 It should be fine for them.

00:30:25.100 It should be able to handle it.

00:30:25.660 And I think Portland, part of this too, comes off as a troll.

00:30:29.240 Like you're just like, oh yeah, well then you take them.

00:30:32.560 That's not how I'm saying this.

00:30:34.120 I mean, legitimately, these towns are saying they want them.

00:30:37.040 Here's the thing, here's the thing, we have said the same thing about abortion.

00:30:42.340 We'll adopt them.

00:30:43.840 Oh really?

00:30:45.100 Well then we're gonna stop, we're gonna give you those babies. 1.00

00:30:49.240 Okay.

00:30:50.860 Okay.

00:30:51.940 We actually believe it.

00:30:53.700 Okay.

00:30:54.620 We'll take them.

00:30:55.640 The Second Amendment had this at one point too where, I think it was Sarah Silverman, 0.85

00:31:00.480 the comedian, she was like, well, oh you guys want gun rights, huh? 0.96

00:31:05.020 Well, let's get guns to black people. 1.00

00:31:07.860 And we're like, okay, that sounds fantastic. 0.99

00:31:10.320 It's also part of their constitutional rights.

00:31:13.000 They absolutely should have them whenever they need them.

00:31:15.600 Doesn't that show how racist she is? 1.00

00:31:17.160 Yes, it does show how racist she is. 1.00

00:31:18.680 Oh my gosh.

00:31:19.340 I mean, it's fascinating.

00:31:20.420 I mean, like that is something, if they really believe these things, and I think some of them

00:31:24.320 do. 0.99

00:31:24.540 Let's get these guns to black people. 1.00

00:31:25.760 That was their big in your face moment. 0.99

00:31:28.720 They thought they had us on that one.

00:31:29.920 Like who? 0.96

00:31:30.500 Like we started charities to get guns to black people. 1.00

00:31:33.180 It was the Democrats that repealed the gun rights under the Jim Crow laws against black

00:31:42.580 people.

00:31:43.100 If you could, you could ask Martin Luther King Jr. as he attempted to get a gun permit and

00:31:47.160 could not get one because of the laws that the Democrats set up in the racist South.

00:31:51.220 Right.

00:31:52.180 That's crazy.

00:31:53.220 Yeah.

00:31:56.720 This is the best of the Glenn Beck Program.

00:31:59.080 Tim Ballard, you know him as the founder of the and CEO of Operation Underground Railroad.

00:32:10.360 He is also the CEO of the Nazarene Fund, but he has spent a decade working as a special agent

00:32:17.140 for the Department of Homeland Security, where he was assigned to the Internet Crimes Against

00:32:22.440 Children Task Force.

00:32:23.840 He was also an undercover operative for the U.S. child sex tourism jump team.

00:32:29.480 He has dismantled human trafficking rings of all over the world.

00:32:36.400 He is on the border.

00:32:38.200 He called me last night with something I didn't expect to ever hear from Tim Ballard.

00:32:44.900 Glenn, we've been to Bangkok.

00:32:47.580 We've been to some of the worst places in the world.

00:32:50.000 I can't believe what I'm seeing on our own border in America.

00:32:55.000 Welcome to the program, Tim Ballard.

00:32:57.500 Thanks, Glenn.

00:32:58.200 Thanks for having me on.

00:32:59.580 So, Tim, first of all, where are you?

00:33:02.660 And describe the scene.

00:33:05.480 This is, like you said, we've been all over the world seeing a crisis where children are

00:33:11.420 being used and abused in the worst ways.

00:33:14.160 It's happening right here in our country.

00:33:15.880 And it's, you know who the defense is, it's the churches, it's the local communities who

00:33:20.180 are running to help because our policies don't support a child rescue right now.

00:33:27.780 In fact, our policies are incentivizing traffickers to utilize the system.

00:33:32.820 So we are right now, we are in between El Paso and Las Cruces, New Mexico.

00:33:37.580 There's 13 churches that we are here to train.

00:33:40.680 They need training.

00:33:41.520 They called us and said, please come help us.

00:33:43.540 We know these children are being trafficked.

00:33:45.260 We think a lot of these kids that are being dumped daily at our churches, a thousand

00:33:49.340 a day to one church, to one church network in New Mexico.

00:33:54.100 And they said, look, we see these kids.

00:33:56.040 We don't think these kids belong to their parents.

00:33:58.280 The people claiming to be their parents, but we don't know what to do.

00:34:00.700 We don't know how to train them, what to tell them.

00:34:03.340 In essence, what's happening is this.

00:34:05.160 And I went down, I talked to a lot of these people who are being helped out these churches.

00:34:09.740 What's happening is there's, I mean, there's literally, and I have intel from Guatemala,

00:34:12.820 from my guys on the ground.

00:34:14.040 There's radio ads, okay, for smugglers advertising.

00:34:18.300 We can get you into the United States.

00:34:20.120 Just sign up here, get on the bus.

00:34:22.540 And then they give them two things, Glenn.

00:34:24.020 If you don't have a child, they give them a child that they've kidnapped from someplace.

00:34:28.700 They're recycling these kids.

00:34:30.240 Once they get them through, they'll bring them back south. 1.00

00:34:32.620 And they pair children up with the people who pay money to the smugglers.

00:34:37.740 And then they give them a name if they don't have a name of a sponsor.

00:34:40.840 And they say, when you get there, show the name to the customs official.

00:34:44.520 And with a name in hand, the person claiming to be the sponsor, and a child in hand, they

00:34:49.400 get released immediately.

00:34:51.540 And then the only people there to take care of them and to do any kind of vetting or helping

00:34:55.520 them with supplies are these churches.

00:34:57.480 And these are the greatest people on the planet.

00:34:59.420 They're not political.

00:35:00.820 They're frustrated that the government's not supporting the efforts.

00:35:04.400 But they've run because they see children in need.

00:35:07.000 And that's why we're here.

00:35:08.060 We're here to train them, to teach them what to look for.

00:35:11.200 And I mean, Glenn, I saw this five-year-old kid yesterday.

00:35:15.240 Yesterday, I talked to him.

00:35:16.440 I asked him what his name was.

00:35:17.640 I asked him who his dad was.

00:35:19.060 He pointed me to a man.

00:35:20.120 I walked over to the man.

00:35:21.100 Hey, what's your kid's name?

00:35:22.120 Gave me a different name.

00:35:24.140 And so we're making efforts right now to make sure this kid doesn't end up with the

00:35:29.400 quote-unquote sponsor who's going to be a trafficker.

00:35:32.700 Okay?

00:35:33.040 We are – our system is facilitating trafficking events.

00:35:36.920 It is absolutely insane.

00:35:38.660 And when you consider the fact – yeah.

00:35:40.520 I want to ask you if you can talk about the two areas of the country that they are going

00:35:47.380 to, that they seem to be concentrating in two areas.

00:35:50.640 Can you talk about that?

00:35:52.280 Absolutely.

00:35:52.720 Yeah.

00:35:53.180 And, yeah, so there's two cities.

00:35:55.880 A lot of them are going to Atlanta and North Dakota.

00:35:58.400 And this is very concerning because Atlanta is one of the highest trafficking cities in

00:36:06.260 the United States, if not the highest.

00:36:08.600 And then in North Dakota, they're building the pipeline.

00:36:13.340 And even the folks – the church folks actually pointed this out to me.

00:36:16.780 And they actually rescued one of the little girls.

00:36:19.440 They did some follow-up work on their own and realized that these kids were being sent

00:36:23.620 to North Dakota because they're there to service, sexually service, the workers on 0.99

00:36:27.460 the pipeline.

00:36:28.720 So – and they're – but this is just a small group of Christian volunteers who are

00:36:33.120 trying to play intel analyst and rescue children on their own because the kids are just dumped

00:36:40.080 on them.

00:36:40.420 And the Homeland Security or the Border Patrol, they can't do anything, can they, because

00:36:47.420 of the way the – because of the way the Democrats have set the laws up.

00:36:52.420 Exactly right.

00:36:53.380 They want to do something.

00:36:54.920 But the policies in place say when that kid comes in, if they have a kid in their hands,

00:37:00.060 you have to let them go right away, 20 days max.

00:37:03.440 But they don't even have time to wait to 20 days because the next 1,000 are coming in

00:37:08.440 in the next hour.

00:37:09.700 So they can't do anything.

00:37:11.560 They have to.

00:37:12.380 Our laws are forcing them to just drop them off. 0.99

00:37:16.020 And luckily, the churches have come and said, well, where are you going to drop them off?

00:37:18.780 We'll make sure we're there, and we'll take them, and we'll do the job that Congress

00:37:22.700 won't let you do.

00:37:23.680 We'll try to do it ourselves.

00:37:25.260 We'll try to vet these kids.

00:37:26.660 We'll try to feed these kids. 0.54

00:37:28.020 We'll try to give them food and water.

00:37:29.360 How are these, with 1,000 a day, new, in 12 days, that's 12,000 people.

00:37:37.120 That's a small city.

00:37:38.900 How are these cities handling this here in the United States?

00:37:44.060 I read a story today where they're now – they're just using taxpayer dollars.

00:37:51.100 They're going into their city funds, and they're cutting other things because they

00:37:56.080 have to provide water, they have to police it, they have to do something, and they don't

00:38:02.680 have any money to do it.

00:38:04.960 That's right.

00:38:05.540 They are busting at the seams.

00:38:07.240 You know, the state of New Mexico was generous enough to provide a medical – a mobile medical

00:38:12.240 unit.

00:38:12.900 So all the kids that we get, we're taking them to make sure they're okay, to check

00:38:16.500 them for diseases, checking them for sexually transmitted diseases.

00:38:20.060 I mean, Glenn, I met a woman yesterday who – she couldn't pay the passage.

00:38:25.120 She was trying to get out of Guatemala because her daughter was being hounded by traffickers,

00:38:29.720 which I know is the case.

00:38:31.140 I know that these are true stories.

00:38:33.380 And so she said, I've got to get out, but I couldn't pay the fare.

00:38:36.340 So you know what she had to do? 0.86

00:38:37.560 She had to be raped six times along the path from Guatemala to the border. 0.99

00:38:43.060 That was her pay to the traffickers, to the smugglers. 0.89

00:38:45.860 And then they come here, and now we're servicing them.

00:38:48.260 We're checking for STDs.

00:38:50.420 We're getting them medicines.

00:38:52.200 I mean, and this is the community.

00:38:53.680 This is the churches mostly, and they're busting at the seams, and they need help.

00:38:57.940 They need help.

00:38:58.660 They need financial help to provide medicine for these children, for these abused women. 1.00

00:39:02.340 They need food, and they need more manpower to do the vetting, to do the job that Congress

00:39:09.060 isn't doing, basically to vet these kids and make sure that they don't get sent down the

00:39:13.780 path to some sex trafficker in Atlanta or North Dakota or anywhere else in the United States.

00:39:19.420 So why are these towns being selected for the buses just to come and just dump them

00:39:24.900 into the society?

00:39:27.580 Do you know?

00:39:28.240 The proximity to the border.

00:39:30.240 I mean, that's just the towns that are closest to the border, and then the churches who are

00:39:34.900 there that raise their hand and say, we will take them.

00:39:37.240 If no one else will take them, we will take them.

00:39:39.440 These people are unbelievable, Glenn.

00:39:40.820 I mean, these Christian folks that I've been working with, and they're unbelievable.

00:39:44.600 They are.

00:39:45.100 I mean, they don't have a choice.

00:39:46.360 They're going to the government.

00:39:46.680 I mean, if you're Christians, you don't really have a choice. 1.00

00:39:50.640 Because, I mean, what are you going to do?

00:39:52.220 You're going to dump them off on the side of the road someplace where they get no food,

00:39:55.640 no water, they get nothing?

00:39:57.640 That's right.

00:39:58.440 That's right.

00:39:59.440 That's right.

00:39:59.860 And they're just doing their Christian duty.

00:40:02.540 And, I mean, they're in tears.

00:40:04.760 These people, they're just 12 hours a day.

00:40:08.500 I mean, they don't go home, and they're volunteering their time.

00:40:11.280 And it's just unbelievable to watch this.

00:40:13.540 And they're just helping these children who are just, they come in just tattered and torn.

00:40:18.740 It's a sight to see.

00:40:19.820 I never thought I'd see this in this country, what we're seeing.

00:40:26.660 So, Tim, I'm going to go down to the border with you this weekend and see what's going on

00:40:36.520 and see these towns and see these churches.

00:40:39.740 These churches are not part of the problem, are they?

00:40:43.100 I mean, some of these, we just have to make sure that the churches, they're not the ones

00:40:49.420 that are holding their hand up and saying, open borders.

00:40:52.540 Not at all.

00:40:53.520 Not at all.

00:40:54.340 No.

00:40:54.600 In fact, they don't even want to talk about, you know, when we get into politics or anything,

00:40:59.540 they're like, you know what, we're just helping these kids.

00:41:02.060 That's all we're worried about.

00:41:03.460 No, these are not open-border churches.

00:41:05.160 They don't have those.

00:41:05.780 They don't carry any kind of political philosophy other than their only philosophy is love one another.

00:41:10.940 And these kids are in need, and we are going to stand for them if no one else will.

00:41:15.260 That's it.

00:41:16.880 Here's the thing.

00:41:17.500 We are going to open up the Nazarene Fund and Mercury One.

00:41:25.860 I don't want to put this through the Nazarene Fund.

00:41:29.520 Do you, Tim?

00:41:30.700 This should go through Mercury One, right?

00:41:32.020 No, it's Mercury One.

00:41:32.620 I talked to the executive director yesterday.

00:41:35.200 It's going to be Mercury One.

00:41:36.060 If you go to mercuryone.org right now, there's a banner that is placed up for this humanitarian crisis.

00:41:41.020 You'll see it.

00:41:41.560 It's clear.

00:41:42.560 And we need help now.

00:41:44.280 We need help now.

00:41:44.900 And we're going to help those churches with, you know, with some basics from water and some food and things that they just cannot.

00:41:52.280 And medicine.

00:41:53.060 They just can't afford on their own anymore, so they don't collapse under the weight.

00:41:58.220 And then also, will some of this money go to fund your work to make sure that we catch the bad guys that are using these children?

00:42:08.840 Absolutely.

00:42:09.440 That's why we're here right now is to train more volunteers and get more manpower on the border.

00:42:15.380 But you're going to – we spoke last night, and I know you can't get into it, but you're going a step further than just training how to spot.

00:42:22.260 We're going to go into the interior and catch these bad guys, are we not?

00:42:25.980 Yeah, we have a plan.

00:42:27.280 We're working with Homeland Security Investigations, whose job it is to find trafficking organizations.

00:42:33.100 We have a very, very awesome plan in place.

00:42:36.120 I can't get into details, of course, but to go in.

00:42:38.820 And look, when we find these trafficking organizations who are responsible for this in our big cities, we're going to find other children, American children, who are already stuck in this as well.

00:42:47.320 So this is going to lead us down these rabbit holes that will allow us to bust up other trafficking rings that have existed in this country for decades, probably.

00:42:55.700 Tim, thank you so much.

00:42:56.420 I appreciate it.

00:42:57.180 And we'll talk to you again soon.

00:42:58.160 Thank you, man.

00:42:58.360 You bet.

00:42:58.660 Bye-bye.

00:42:59.460 Tim Ballard, the founder and CEO of Operation Underground Railroad and the CEO of the Nazarene Fund.

00:43:05.260 And I've never heard the desperation in his voice like I heard last night because he had been talking to people in these towns who are like, we're crushed.

00:43:16.460 We don't know what to do.

00:43:17.820 We have no idea what to do.

00:43:19.920 We can't afford this.

00:43:21.760 And our government has abandoned us.

00:43:24.740 So there's two things we have to do.

00:43:27.440 One, the head.

00:43:29.600 We need to support Donald Trump's efforts on the border.

00:43:34.860 We need to forthrightly stand again and be heard leading the charge for the border to be secured.

00:43:46.540 We can't let that fall by the wayside because it's invisible to most Americans today, but it is a massive, massive problem.

00:43:57.640 And if we don't fix this quickly, at 1,000 people a day being dropped off on some of these cities, think of how fast that adds up because that's just one city.

00:44:10.120 1,000 people a day.

00:44:13.440 How are they going to do it?

00:44:16.000 We must have the border secured.

00:44:18.920 And let me tell you, Democrats, you are going to lose the next election, and you deserve every bit of it, but you're going to lose in a spectacular way if the American people connect their head and their heart.

00:44:34.000 We need to go down and help these cities and help these churches so they have at least water for people.

00:44:43.140 We need to expose it, and we need to send the message, secure the border.

00:44:49.140 If you would like to help us, please go to mercuryone.org.

00:44:53.960 That's mercuryone.org.

00:44:55.600 We will break up these rings.

00:44:57.780 These guys are coming in here, and they are positioning themselves all across the country to be able to have a new sex trafficking ring.

00:45:07.360 And our government is responsible for it.

00:45:11.220 Those in the Democratic Party who have been saying there's not a problem, open borders, that have caused this crisis,

00:45:21.620 you, the judgment on your head because of what's happening to children is going to be a price much higher than the loss of the next election.

00:45:31.360 If you would like to help us, please go to mercuryone.org.

00:45:34.700 That's mercuryone.org.

00:45:41.220 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck Program.

00:45:54.620 We have Karen Vaughn on with us. 0.99

00:45:57.500 She is the mother of a fallen Navy SEAL, Aaron Carson Vaughn.

00:46:04.080 He was part of SEAL Team 6.

00:46:06.040 He was killed in action in Afghanistan when his chopper carrying 30 Americans was shot from the sky, rushing into battle.

00:46:18.320 It put Karen on a new path, and she's here to talk to us about it.

00:46:24.300 Hi, Karen.

00:46:24.760 How are you?

00:46:26.120 I'm good, Glenn.

00:46:27.240 How are you?

00:46:28.000 I'm good.

00:46:29.560 Tell me about how your journey is going.

00:46:32.220 You know, life without a child, after you bury a child, is complicated.

00:46:38.760 There's never a moment where you feel like you've gotten past that, or there's never going to be a door closed on that,

00:46:44.260 and like, oh, that was just a chapter of my life.

00:46:46.040 You struggle every single day just trying to figure out the new normal, and you miss that person every single day of your life.

00:46:53.060 But God has been good.

00:46:54.540 I think about this with my kids all the time, especially with them entering teenage years now,

00:47:01.680 and the suicide rate that's going through the roof with teenagers,

00:47:07.280 and I just cannot get my arms around what it is like or what it must be like to lose a child.

00:47:14.480 I don't know how I would deal with it.

00:47:17.120 Glenn, you know, nobody knows how they would deal with it.

00:47:20.120 I used to think that people who lost a child surely got only put that on people who weren't that close to their children

00:47:25.800 or didn't really have a real maternal or paternal instinct,

00:47:28.800 because I thought, how could anybody that felt like I did about my kids, you know,

00:47:32.300 coached them in their peewee baseball leagues and basketball leagues and, you know, went to church with them.

00:47:37.260 You know, every time the doors opened and led their youth groups,

00:47:40.160 and, you know, I just thought that couldn't happen to someone like me because I couldn't survive it.

00:47:44.200 But the truth is that we're all very much stronger than we think we are,

00:47:47.820 and we can get through anything, as you've proven time and time again.

00:47:51.020 Glenn, you know, we're strong people, and it's always mind over matter, right?

00:47:55.380 When struggles or, you know, attacks from people or different things pop up in our lives,

00:48:00.300 we figure out a way to overcome them because we're made a lot tougher than we think we are.

00:48:04.580 So that's how you get through it, just one day at a time, and you keep figuring it out, you know?

00:48:09.240 So you've done the Moms for America and the Moms March movement is really kind of your, what?

00:48:20.940 Your whole filler?

00:48:26.140 You know what it is?

00:48:28.140 Here it is.

00:48:29.440 It's simple for me.

00:48:30.620 And, Glenn, I don't know if you remember, we got to talk back in 2017 when I released my book about Aaron,

00:48:36.060 World Changer, and I got to sit with you in your studio for an hour and do your show.

00:48:40.420 And, you know, I just love chatting with you because you've been a victor for America.

00:48:45.080 You started a revolution about exposing the dangers that were threatening our society,

00:48:50.340 and I want you to know, I said this to you before, but I want you to know that my son,

00:48:54.300 who was a big, badass, tough Navy SEAL, member of SEAL Team 6,

00:48:58.680 thought you were the greatest thing that ever came into America's existence.

00:49:02.400 And I want you to know our family has honored your sacrifice and your service.

00:49:06.420 But here's what happened to me is after Aaron died, I realized that I could no longer sit on the sidelines

00:49:12.620 and watch other people protect and defend this nation.

00:49:15.180 He fought for it, and he died for it on foreign soil.

00:49:18.340 But we are being destroyed, as you've said, so adequately and so many times from within.

00:49:24.080 And so if we're willing to send our sons and daughters to foreign nations to die to protect us from threats over there,

00:49:30.000 then what the heck are we doing if we don't also fight what's happening inside our own government

00:49:35.580 to make sure that America is not demolished from within?

00:49:39.500 And so that's why my husband and I both got up, and we straightened our backs, and we straightened our knees,

00:49:44.160 and we said, you know what?

00:49:45.480 Till the day we die, till we draw our last breath, we will not allow his sacrifice to be wasted,

00:49:51.000 and we won't allow the pain we've experienced to be wasted.

00:49:53.620 We are fighting for the sovereignty of our nation.

00:49:56.400 It is an all-out war in every way, and, you know, you mentioned, and I don't want to drag this out,

00:50:01.400 but you mentioned suicide rates.

00:50:03.320 I mean, is there any reason that any of us who are paying attention to our culture don't understand?

00:50:09.420 We absolutely understand why suicide rates are so high.

00:50:12.300 We've completely disrespected the value of life.

00:50:15.040 We've put things in front of our children that never should have been in front of our children.

00:50:18.820 We've shoved ideologies down their throats saying that people have no value.

00:50:23.340 Glenn, just on and on it goes.

00:50:24.620 And I don't know how somebody loses a child to suicide.

00:50:27.920 My walk has been very different.

00:50:30.160 You know, it's been a walk of pride with a straight back and, you know, a son who died fighting for his nation,

00:50:35.260 all those valiant things.

00:50:36.440 But I'm not without the thought sometimes, what if he hadn't died in battle,

00:50:40.420 and he'd come back here and been treated the way so many veterans have been treated in our society,

00:50:44.720 and he died by suicide later on.

00:50:46.780 Those thoughts have crossed my mind if he felt that hopelessness in this society that left him

00:50:52.300 and abandoned him after he gave so much for it, which is, you know,

00:50:56.060 which is just another facet of what we're experiencing.

00:50:58.420 So that's why I joined an organization called Moms for America. 0.91

00:51:02.540 We are fighting for the sovereignty of our nation,

00:51:05.440 and we are a national movement of moms who are out there to reclaim our culture for truth, family, and freedom.

00:51:11.860 That's our motto, and that's what we're doing in every single way we possibly can.

00:51:15.280 This was the number one target, and the culture has been lost,

00:51:19.960 and it needs to be rejuvenated, but it truly has been lost.

00:51:26.760 So I know you were just down on the border.

00:51:29.720 We were talking about this just a minute ago.

00:51:31.680 Imagine how abandoned you would feel if the United States government was bringing a bus to your small town

00:51:42.020 and dropping 1,000 people off every single day.

00:51:46.820 We have made two trips to the border,

00:51:49.220 and we have talked to moms and dads and kids that are living in those situations.

00:51:53.660 Glenn, they are terrified for their life,

00:51:55.820 and when did it become okay in our society to allow women and children to be the front line of defense for our nation? 1.00

00:52:01.800 It is completely unacceptable.

00:52:03.740 And then you talk to the border security agents down there that are completely overwhelmed by what's happening,

00:52:08.600 and then you still have people like Nancy Pelosi hiding behind her walls saying that walls are something we should be ashamed of wanting.

00:52:17.660 We've been to D.C. over and over again, and we've tried to reason with these legislators.

00:52:22.540 And, you know, Glenn, the thing is we've realized this, and this was hard for me to come to the conclusion of,

00:52:28.300 but we have realized that America will not be won by legislators in Washington, D.C.

00:52:34.540 It won't.

00:52:35.320 America will be restored at the dining room table.

00:52:39.320 That's where it will be restored.

00:52:40.720 And in the classrooms across this country, just the other night I had the privilege of speaking at a –

00:52:46.100 Hillsdale College has charter schools going in across the country where, you know,

00:52:50.740 they're refusing to teach revisionist history, and the children's reading assignments will be straight from the Constitution,

00:52:57.440 not somebody's take on the Constitution.

00:52:59.160 And, you know, this is the way that we'll regain our culture and we'll regain the sovereignty of who we are

00:53:04.420 when we start educating the next generation about the greatness of America instead of focusing on all of our failures.

00:53:12.160 And there have been.

00:53:13.140 We both know that.

00:53:14.140 There have been failures.

00:53:14.960 There's – but we're crying out loud, where else in the world are they beating down the gates to get in because they're so horrible, right?

00:53:22.060 I mean, if we're so horrible, why is everybody trying to come to America? 0.99

00:53:25.660 And we both know the answer to that because we're free, because brave men like my son and 1.3 million others have laid down their lives to protect the sovereignty of this nation.

00:53:35.160 And, again, moms across this nation are rising up.

00:53:38.480 We did a State of the Union address when Nancy Pelosi played her little tricks with Donald Trump, and all that went sideways.

00:53:43.940 On that night, Moms for America brought women from across the country, and we held our own State of the Union.

00:53:49.200 And, you know, by the end of that address, we had 1.4 million moms who were signing on saying,

00:53:54.060 I want to be part of this movement because moms are starving for leadership because they know what's happened to their children in the classroom, 1.00

00:54:01.000 and they just need somebody to pal up with them and say, we can fight this battle together.

00:54:07.860 But you've got to have people on your right and left and on your six.

00:54:10.700 We all know that instinctively, so that's what we're trying to do.

00:54:13.400 I will tell you, Karen, I'm not a mom.

00:54:16.520 I'm a dad.

00:54:17.760 And I feel so overwhelmed when I get home.

00:54:22.620 I mean, Tanya and I just talked about this just the other night.

00:54:25.780 We were having a, we're just, we've got a family crisis that we're dealing with right now.

00:54:31.980 And I said, honey, I don't, I honestly don't, I'm going to explode.

00:54:36.180 I don't know how to deal with the, you know, hey, can you think about how we're going to save the country, you know, for, for 12 hours a day?

00:54:47.660 And then how are you going to save your family for the other 12 hours a day?

00:54:51.240 I just, I don't, I'm overwhelmed.

00:54:53.820 And I think everybody feels this way.

00:54:57.300 Everybody feels this way.

00:54:59.800 You're right.

00:55:00.620 You're right.

00:55:01.180 We're hearing that over and over again.

00:55:02.640 And even, even people on the left have come to us and said, you know what?

00:55:05.840 We're tired of the bickering.

00:55:06.980 We're tired of the fighting.

00:55:08.040 We're tired of the lack of civility.

00:55:09.780 And you're right, Glenn, you shouldn't have to fight for the country all day.

00:55:12.920 Then go home and fight for your family, because there should be a country instilling the values in your family to keep you from having to fight that battle constantly.

00:55:21.000 But we're failing.

00:55:22.540 And that's where we have totally failed.

00:55:24.840 And, you know, we've let people take this culture from us, this culture of goodness, of right behavior, of kindness, of biblical principles.

00:55:32.260 I mean, go figure, right?

00:55:33.260 You know, so Karen, talk to the person, talk, talk to the person who is, you know, just drop the kids off and they are relating to what both of us are saying.

00:55:45.260 Where do they start?

00:55:46.260 What do you do?

00:55:47.920 What do you do?

00:55:49.180 I tell you what, that where I am right now is join us moms for America. 0.99

00:55:53.740 We have got so many programs for you to get involved in.

00:55:56.520 If you want to get in the fight, we've got ways for you to get in the fight right now.

00:56:00.300 I don't know if there's any gold star family members out there listening.

00:56:02.660 People who have lost a child or a spouse or a parent to this war, like me.

00:56:08.500 But we're mounting a gigantic movement to Washington, D.C., as we speak of gold star families, where we are going to stand up and lock arms on the steps of the Capitol and say that we strengthen our resolve that America will never be a socialist government.

00:56:21.680 We're doing things like that.

00:56:22.780 We're doing these trips to the border where we're seeing firsthand what's happening to the families across this nation.

00:56:28.300 We've got groups of moms meeting across the country. 1.00

00:56:31.880 We've got, I don't know, probably, I don't even know what the number is now.

00:56:36.200 Thousands of women meeting across the country in small groups in their homes, studying the Constitution, studying how to bring these principles back into their home that have been so lost in our culture. 0.92

00:56:45.740 So there are just myriad ways that people can get involved at Moms for America.

00:56:50.000 We've tried to make this very broad.

00:56:51.340 But, and Glenn, like you said, you're a dad.

00:56:53.620 It's not just for moms.

00:56:55.000 If you want to instill these values in your family members as well and you want to spread this message of hope across America again, we don't care if you're a mom, a dad.

00:57:03.720 If you've never had a child, we want you to lock arms with us and say, not on our watch, not in this generation.

00:57:09.340 So go to our website, momsforamerica.us, or you can find us on Facebook at Moms for America or Moms March for America.

00:57:18.020 We have both of those pages, and we would be honored for anybody to join forces with us.

00:57:23.340 We are mounting a massive movement here, and we are going to reclaim our culture.

00:57:29.680 Karen, you give me hope.

00:57:32.540 Give me hope.

00:57:33.340 Let me tell you something, Glenn.

00:57:34.320 You gave me hope for a long time, and you know what?

00:57:37.380 It's my time to stand up and fight.

00:57:39.640 And I say this all the time.

00:57:41.940 I am no longer willing to accept the things I cannot change, Glenn.

00:57:45.720 I am changing the things I cannot accept, and I cannot accept what's happening in our culture.

00:57:51.240 I can't accept the culture of weakness where kids are so weak these days that they don't feel like there's any options for them.

00:58:00.080 But to be crippled citizens, no. 0.97

00:58:02.600 No, we need to raise a new generation of fire-breathing children who will change the world.

00:58:08.640 And that's what we can do when we join together and share our energy and our thoughts.

00:58:15.120 The website where you can find her is officialkarenvaughn.com.

00:58:22.300 The name of her book is World Changer.

00:58:27.220 You can also join her at momsforamerica.us.

00:58:35.280 Karen, it's been too long since you've been on the show.

00:58:38.540 Let's not wait this long again.

00:58:40.500 Thank you.

00:58:41.460 I'd love to talk again soon.

00:58:42.940 You have a wonderful day.

00:58:43.940 God bless.
