00:04:37.060 that they said it was real. Now, there's an investigation going on and how this came

00:04:41.300 out. And apparently, the police are very upset. I can imagine.

00:04:57.420 In the manifesto that they refused to release because they said it was just too dangerous,

00:11:46.820 hands the administrative state effective control of all internet services and infrastructure in the

00:11:55.640 country. Never before in the roughly 40 year history of the public internet has the FCC or any federal

00:12:04.780 agency for that matter claimed this degree of control over it. The plan calls for the FCC to apply a

00:12:12.640 far-reaching set of government controls that the agency has not applied to any technology in the

00:12:20.280 modern era. You got that? This has never been done before. No communication devices have ever had this

00:12:36.700 kind of control suggested by the government, let alone applied. He went on and said, Congress never

00:12:47.740 contemplated the sweeping regulatory regime that President Biden asked the FCC to adopt, let alone

00:12:53.940 authorize the agency to implement it. Here's what's happening. As with everything else the Biden

00:13:02.820 administration is doing. His broadband policies are failing. And the building of internet infrastructure in

00:13:11.200 this country, the price of it has gone through the roof. FCC wants new 5G broadband services. But it's all

00:13:22.280 needlessly been blocked and delayed by new broadband infrastructure, regulatory red tape. So the government

00:13:32.640 is blocking the private sector from doing it. And then using that to say, see, we need to take

00:13:40.320 complete control. This is breathtaking control of all information. The rules, the rules that are suggested and

00:14:01.020 are going to be voted on quick, hurry, next week, the federal government has a roving mandate to micromanage

00:14:09.400 nearly every aspect of how the internet functions. From how internet service providers allocate capital,

00:14:19.280 where they build, to the services that consumers can purchase, from the profits that ISPs can realize,

00:14:27.640 and how they market and advertise services to the discounts and promotions that consumers can

00:14:34.440 receive. If passed, the FCC will be empowered for the first time to regulate every ISP's service

00:14:44.680 termination terms, use of customer credit, account history, credit checks, account termination,

00:14:52.540 among other items. He said, this plan reads like a document drawn up in the faculty lounge of a

00:15:02.600 university's Soviet studies department. It includes plans to empower the FCC to regulate every single

00:15:15.580 aspect aspect of the internet. You have an FCC policy advisor who has just read the plan. He said,

00:15:30.780 quote, to call it extreme or radical doesn't do this proposal justice.

00:15:35.320 Phil Kirpin has just come out and said, Biden is turning digital discrimination into a pretext for regulating

00:15:44.700 everything for equity. This is so far reaching that it will mean even the blaze because we are on the

00:15:57.880 backbone of the internet. We can be completely separate everything. But because we're on the backbone of the

00:16:08.980 internet, we will now have to comply by government FCC regulations. I have done broadcast under FCC

00:16:22.940 regulations for 48 years. I know what FCC regulations are like. I also started before

00:16:33.920 Reagan, I think it was before Reagan, deregulated the radio waves and television waves.

00:16:42.720 I will tell you that those regulations today would put this show out of business. I could not do what I do

00:16:57.160 today if they just went back to the regulations that were in the FCC back in the 40s and 60s and 80s.

00:24:44.580 talk to you about the FCC and we just got an email in from Brendan Carr. Who do I have this here? Yeah.

00:24:56.560 He said, listen, it's largely a done deal at this point. The FCC, which is 3-2 Dem to Republican,

00:25:06.180 will vote in favor of this next week. Pressure can still help. The Dems have known been known recently

00:25:13.500 to slightly soften their decision at the last minute if the public has pushback. Pressure from

00:25:22.440 more centrist R's in Congress moves the D's even further right. But still, any interest and attention

00:25:29.980 from any member of Congress can help, both helping the odds of overturning this on appeal and help

00:25:35.520 ensure that the people know how radical the Biden administration policies are that they're running

00:25:42.420 through the administrative agencies. This is the FCC becoming the administrative state

00:25:49.420 with unchecked power over all of the internet service and equity. A little frightening. A little

00:25:57.540 frightening. So when did all of this start? Well, you know what I'm going to say.

00:26:05.180 Woodrow Wilson. Of course. Of course it's Woodrow Wilson. Everyone in their cars right now is

00:26:11.220 going, Woodrow Wilson. Wilson laid the ground for all of this big tech surveillance of today. And he

00:26:18.260 did it with centralization and bureaucracy, a collectivism that American had never, ever seen

00:26:26.660 before. Wilson's war message to Congress declared war on Germany, April 2nd, 1917. He told Congress,

00:26:36.100 the world must be made safe for democracy. Does that sound familiar at all? He said,

00:26:43.840 we desire no conquest, no dominion. He used fear to convince people to do what he wanted. And Wilson

00:26:51.340 had actually won the 1916 election on the platform of non-involvement in World War I, which is just

00:27:00.480 called the Great War at the time. He campaigned on the, he kept us out of war. He promised no war. He

00:27:10.120 insisted if the Republicans won, they'll lead us into war. And I won't. Well, his second term started in

00:27:18.980 January. And by April, he was declaring war. He couldn't let the country know that he had changed

00:27:29.680 his mind because that would be too straightforward. He needed America to enter the war, how to get them

00:27:38.100 in. He'd have to convince them that going to war was their brilliant idea. So here's what he did.

00:27:47.580 Listen to this. He started a vicious propaganda campaign. Now, all advertising back then was

00:27:55.920 called propaganda. It wasn't advertising. It was propaganda for your company or whatever.

00:28:01.400 The Committee on Public Information was the very first. This is the creation of the Committee of

00:28:08.860 Public Information. It is 1984-esque. It is really nasty. It was the first and

00:28:17.300 only time that America had a ministry of propaganda. It had 47 divisions, including the division of

00:28:25.440 Pictorial Publicity, the Four Minute Man Division, the News Division, and the Censorship Board.

00:28:34.280 This is why I worry the minute this nation goes to war, voices will be silenced.

00:28:46.860 It set the standard for modern propaganda. It taught the Germans how to do propaganda with

00:28:56.000 Goebbels in World War II. That's according to Goebbels. So to do this, he needed a sneaky ally.

00:29:04.280 That man was named George Creel. Guess what he did for a living? Yeah, he was a journalist.

00:29:12.480 Now, journalist is a bit of a stretch, but no more than someone calling themselves a journalist today.

00:29:20.380 Creel described the Committee on Public Information as a vast enterprise in salesmanship.

00:29:26.280 Wilson began to use the media, and it's what made this propaganda so powerful. He controlled

00:29:36.660 the media. He knew if you control the voices that people trust, the voices that people are

00:29:43.980 looking to, you control public opinion. Control public opinion, you control the minds and the

00:29:51.440 actions of the people. You know, if the guard dogs and the truth-tellers of society were telling

00:29:59.640 people something, surely it must be true, because the guard dogs would bark if the truth-tellers

00:30:05.560 weren't telling the truth, right? Unless you owned both the truth-tellers and the guard dogs.

00:30:11.080 Any of this sound familiar?

00:30:12.000 Within a couple of months, Creel had recruited about 100,000 men, and they were a squadron of

00:30:19.860 bullies. They stormed the movie theaters across the country. Four-minute men. Now, why were

00:30:26.960 they called four-minute men? Because in the new movie houses, it took the projectionist four

00:30:37.140 minutes to change the real. Everybody sat there quietly in the darkness.

00:30:45.140 Wilson's idea was, in the darkness, this is a captive audience. Get a four-minute stump speech,

00:30:54.000 jump up in front of everybody, and give a fiery speech about why we need to go to war.

00:30:59.860 This was very, very personal. He used prominent members of the communities to spread propaganda

00:31:09.800 designed by him and Creel all over America. They wanted to sway the American people, especially

00:31:16.980 in the South, who saw no reason to enter a European war at the behest of a president that

00:31:23.140 they'd ever voted for. Soon, the four-minute men delivered their heated rants anywhere. There was

00:31:31.440 a gathering of people. They moved beyond the four-minute real change, but they kept it at four

00:31:38.260 minutes. Preachers, lawyers, teachers, superintendents, athletes, magicians, aviators, titans of industry,

00:31:46.580 even a few leaders of the KKK, like deforest Henry Perkins, the Grand Wizard, middle-aged men who were

00:31:54.780 too old to fight, used their gift for public speaking to spread fear and advertise war, to

00:32:00.560 convince people to support the progressive ideas, the draft, food rationing, and support for the Red

00:32:07.420 Cross. You know all those big propaganda posters from the Red Cross? You've seen those old-timey

00:32:14.320 looking ones with the nurse. That's all part of this propaganda campaign. They give speeches in

00:32:22.520 different languages. Historians estimate that in New York City, these speeches reached 500,000 people

00:32:30.880 every week in New York City. And the trick was to make the speeches look like patriotic outbursts from

00:32:40.040 passionate members of the community who were just spontaneously standing up. In reality, every

00:32:46.640 message was scripted by the state and memorized by these people. Creel once said, quote,

00:32:54.740 These were no haphazard talks by nondescripts, but the careful, studied, and rehearsed efforts of the

00:33:02.200 best men in each community. Each speech aimed as a rifle is aimed, and driving to its mark with

00:33:09.640 precision of a bullet. Several hundred thousand Americans volunteered for their neighborhood watch.

00:33:19.100 Americans betraying their fellow Americans, the people they shared their community with. If somebody

00:33:24.900 wasn't on board with Wilson and his four-minute speakers, well, they had to be ratted out. There was

00:33:30.380 something wrong with them. They were un-American. Hollywood got involved. Most famous actors of the

00:33:36.780 time, Charlie Chaplin, Mary Pickford, they did the same thing the famous actors of our time do, berate

00:33:43.540 ordinary people because they know better. Before long, it was literally impossible for anyone to speak out

00:33:51.540 against the war. His goal was to censor and crush anyone who tried to stop him. And he did this by saying,

00:34:00.380 that they were dangerous. Sound familiar? Seditious, anti-American, anti-government villains pushing an

00:34:10.040 insurrection. Wow. History doesn't repeat itself, does it? They claimed that Germany was engaged in

00:34:22.720 nothing less than a war against the government and the people of the United States. He even offered 14

00:34:29.540 points as a way to maintain his image as a peacemaker. But behind the scenes, he was sneaking

00:34:34.740 progressivism into a Trojan horse of foreign policy. He was saying, we're going to be the peacemaker. But

00:34:42.160 what he was doing is coming up with the predecessor of the United Nations. He transformed intellectuals

00:34:49.580 into militants for the state. In an editorial, Teddy Roosevelt wrote, if the League of Nations is built

00:34:57.000 on a document as high-sounding and as meaningless as the speech in which Mr. Wilson laid down his 14

00:35:04.800 points, it will simply add one more scrap to the diplomatic waste paper basket. Most of these 14

00:35:12.500 points would be interpreted to mean anything or nothing. Germans saw it for what it was, propaganda.

00:35:19.960 It is Wilson that destroyed an America that we will never know. He transformed it from a small

00:35:29.640 town, quaint and local community, country, to a global war machine that could be controlled by an

00:35:39.460 all-powerful executive. Between 1917 and 1918, Wilson pushed policy through Congress from the Espionage Act of

00:35:48.100 June 1917 to the Overman Act of May 1918 that gave him total control.

00:49:38.060 You bet. Boy, what a disturbing day on freedom of speech, quite frankly. You've been doing

00:49:48.140 investigation and it's come out in dribs and drabs here and there. But you hit some things that I

00:49:57.820 think are so important. This report where I'm a super spreader of misinformation during the last

00:50:04.860 last election. Is there is there something more nefarious than just smearing me and the blaze TV?

00:50:13.660 Yeah, well, you were in good company with dozens upon dozens, if not hundreds of other Americans,

00:50:21.180 ranging from the former president of the United States, who was actually targeted for censorship,

00:50:27.740 not only by this, quote unquote, public private partnership that I'm sure we'll talk about,

00:50:32.540 but actually by subordinates in an executive agency alongside journalists and everyday Americans

00:50:41.340 who had their social media posts in 2020 surveilled and mass to the tune of hundreds of millions of

00:50:49.020 tweets looked at by people who probably don't share your politics and our politics,

00:50:55.260 and then had masses of that content flagged to the social media companies to suppress that content.

00:51:04.140 And this public private partnership was hatched in conjunction with actually by interns who were

00:51:11.580 working at a federal agency in the national security apparatus. And this is the tip of the iceberg,

00:51:18.860 I think, to a censorship industrial complex, as it's been called, or a public private censorship regime.

00:51:25.740 And what we reported at Real Clear Investigations are new details about the inner workings of this so-called

00:51:31.980 public private partnership, who specifically was targeted by it, what speech was targeted, namely protected

00:51:40.540 the core political speech in this First Amendment assault, and then how intimately involved government agencies

00:51:47.420 themselves were in getting social media companies to censor Americans, again, en masse on election

00:51:55.100 administration and election outcomes. The purest political speech protected First Amendment speech that there is.

00:52:02.380 What's amazing to me is in this particular narrative that they were squashing of mine, I was warning in

00:52:13.180 September, I did two shows in September and October about color revolution and how the playbook, literally

00:52:22.380 the playbook from the Democrats, we had the copy of it. I mean, I show you the pages of it,

00:52:29.340 it was was was putting together what amounted to the same strategy as our State Department's color

00:52:37.740 revolution. Should Donald Trump win the election? And I warned the president, I warned the people, look for

00:52:45.980 these things. It wasn't to it wasn't to start a color revolution. It wasn't to overthrow the government.

00:52:55.660 It was a warning that people were planning to destabilize the government through some of these organizations,

00:53:02.940 and it was their own plan. How did that become a super spreader of disinformation?

00:53:11.500 Well, the national security apparatus and its apparent cutouts and force multipliers doing business as

00:53:19.580 academic or research entities or think tanks have taken this idea and put on steroids

00:53:27.260 that wrong think disfavored speech about virtually anything of significance itself could pose a threat

00:53:36.140 to our election system, to our public health infrastructure, to our financial services infrastructure,

00:53:43.500 to virtually anything the government can conceive of. And so if you propagate speech that they deem to be

00:53:51.980 delegitimizing or undermining, quote unquote, our democracy, that poses a threat to our democracy.

00:53:59.740 And that is liable to not only be suppressed by the social media companies that is on the digital

00:54:06.220 public square by what have become essentially federally deputized speech police, but you can

00:54:13.340 actually go to jail for it. And we have the perfect example of this in the case that I'm sure you're

00:54:17.740 familiar with of Douglas Mackey, who puts out a tweet in 2016, which says, text your number to vote for

00:54:25.660 Hillary Clinton to this number, hashtag I'm with her. And it's clearly a satirical post. Well,

00:54:31.580 the feds prosecuted him for suppression of voting rights because somebody might have texted their

00:54:37.260 number there to vote for her, not realizing that it wasn't actually a vote. Douglas Mackey was just

00:54:42.940 sentenced a couple weeks ago to seven months in jail for that satirical tweet. And by the way, that same

00:54:49.740 law is being hung around the neck of Donald Trump in the January 6 case. So there is a censorship to

00:54:55.340 criminalization pipeline that's been built. And it's all premised on the idea that if Americans

00:55:01.500 hold ideas that our ruling regime doesn't like, it poses a threat to that regime. They'll say it poses

00:55:07.820 a threat to democracy and that it incites domestic violent extremism. And so there's a national

00:55:13.900 security or public health or protecting of our critical infrastructure justification for the

00:55:21.020 censorship. But what it's really dressing up is quashing of dissent and chilling of dissenters.

00:55:27.100 So, Ben, where are we headed? I mean, I look at all of the stuff that's happening now with

00:55:32.940 Islamophobia, where they're trying to convince the American people it's Islamophobia that is the real

00:55:37.900 trouble when we all know that it's anti-Semitism that is growing through the roof right now and a

00:55:46.460 real danger to our our way of life. And, you know, they didn't say anything when they were trying to

00:55:53.980 tear the gates down of the White House. And if you think if they couldn't get past that gate,

00:55:58.540 they wouldn't have gone in and, you know, done all kinds of damage to the White House. You're fooling

00:56:04.060 yourself. The White House didn't do anything about that. Nothing. If they control all speech and they can

00:56:14.460 silence people like you or like me when we're talking about the true nature of Hamas and they

00:56:23.500 decide that we're a problem because we're spreading by telling the truth Islamophobia,

00:56:30.300 they wipe us out. And you got you had no protection for the Jews or anyone else that they decide is on the

00:56:38.700 wrong side. And you can apply this to basically any aspect of speech that might not comport with

00:56:46.780 what authorized opinions are, according to our ruling elites. There's a very telling quote from

00:56:52.860 the director of CISA, which is this DHS sub agency, cyber security and infrastructure security agency.

00:56:59.660 It's a mouthful, but which is devoted to protecting our critical infrastructure. And the director of that

00:57:05.900 sub agency, which helped spearhead and was the tip of the spear of the national security state's

00:57:12.540 efforts to surveil and censor speech directly and by proxy, she has said that our most critical

00:57:19.260 infrastructure is our cognitive infrastructure. Translation, mind control is an imperative of the

00:57:28.300 national security apparatus, and it's going to engage in a whole of society effort to ensure the

00:57:34.140 American mind is controlled. Now, on this much more narrow point that you're making, and it's such

00:57:39.180 an important one, this this this elevation of Islamophobia, which, by the way, Islamophobia is

00:57:46.460 now being raised as the issue of our time in response to the slaughter of Jews at a level of an equivalent

00:57:53.340 of 50,000 Americans with atrocities on par with, if not more disgusting with than what occurred during

00:57:59.980 the Holocaust. They are leveraging the slaughter of Jews to silence criticism of the administration

00:58:07.020 and its partners in the Middle East. Because let's not forget, of course, the entire Biden

00:58:12.940 administration policy towards the Middle East, which is really just the third term of the Obama Biden

00:58:17.900 administration, was to make Iran the strong course, flood its coffers with billions of dollars,

00:58:23.340 not impose sanctions on it, let it build up Hezbollah, Hamas, its other proxies, and make it the dominant

00:58:30.700 power while putting the screws to Israel. So the Biden administration has blood on its hands in the

00:58:36.300 slaughter of Americans and Israelis in Israel. And now they want to use Islamophobia as a way to shut up

00:58:44.860 dissent that points to the disastrous consequences of their policies. That's certainly a part of it.

00:58:52.060 More broadly, if you look at what Islam says about speech, and you use Islamophobia as a pretext to

00:58:58.860 shut people up who want to speak freely and openly honestly about Islam and Islamic supremacism,

00:59:05.660 it's basically imposing, it's an attempt to impose Islamic speech codes on Americans. It's just totally

00:59:12.220 anathema, antithetical to our system. And what this points to is, our ruling elites just cannot

00:59:19.580 tolerate any form of dissent. They had a near-death experience with Donald Trump. They had a near-death

00:59:25.420 experience with Brexit. And they can't allow the people to think for themselves, speak for themselves.

00:59:31.820 They have to constrain us and shut us up using ever more disturbing and Orwellian,

00:59:37.900 Chinese Communist Party-style modus operandi to shut us up.

00:59:42.380 So Ben, I've got about 45 seconds. Who's taking this seriously? And is anybody working to dismantle this?

00:59:52.140 So Republicans in the House primarily, and some in the Senate as well, have tried to put forth

00:59:57.020 legislation to, first, they've done oversight to expose this regime. And second, they've put forth

01:00:02.620 legislation to try and freeze federal speech police from engaging with the social media companies

01:00:09.260 to shut up largely conservative Americans and dissenters on Covidian orthodoxy and a slew of other issues.

01:00:16.140 Beyond that, there's a massive Supreme Court case. It was called Missouri v. Biden, now Mercy v. Missouri.

01:00:22.620 That is the preeminent case going before the court next term, where the Supremes are going to rule on

01:00:29.180 whether federal agencies, including the Biden White House, violated our First Amendment rights through

01:00:34.460 colluding, coercing, cajoling the social media companies to censor wrong thinkers. And another

01:00:40.460 question the plaintiffs in the case have asked the court to take up is whether or not these third-party

01:00:45.180 cutouts as well should be barred from working with the feds to mass surveil and flag for suppression and

01:00:51.980 censorship our speech. So the legislative and judicial avenues are open. We'll see what happens.
