The Glenn Beck Program - Chaos in DC： Afghan National Allegedly Shoots Two National Guard Members Near the White House ｜ 11⧸28⧸25

00:00:00.000 Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh

00:00:30.000 Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh

00:00:35.000 Down the road where shadows hide

00:00:39.000 Feel the dark on every side

00:00:42.000 Stand your ground when times get dark

00:00:45.000 Gotta face the dark and embrace the fire

00:00:49.000 The fusion of entertainment and enlightenment.

00:00:53.000 This is the Glenn Beck Program.

00:01:00.000 Yes, it is breaking news and not the kind that anyone wants to hear,

00:01:07.000 particularly right before Thanksgiving dinner.

00:01:10.000 Two National Guard members shot near the White House in the middle of the day,

00:01:14.000 a suspect in custody and questions piling up

00:01:19.000 faster than that stuffing on your table.

00:01:22.000 Walk you through what we know and what we don't and why this moment feels different,

00:01:30.000 especially in light of the recent news in the past weeks, months.

00:01:35.000 In fact, this last year.

00:01:38.000 It's Justin Barkley and for Glenn today, this is the Glenn Beck Program.

00:01:44.000 With the war in Ukraine, we've heard about a lot of people in both countries who are living through the nightmare of war.

00:02:03.000 But there are also elderly Jewish people who are also trapped in this conflict facing unbearable poverty.

00:02:09.000 Galena is a 96-year-old Holocaust survivor who has spent her life in the same village.

00:02:14.000 She's sick, she's alone, and it's bitter cold.

00:02:16.000 And today, like every day, she has to decide whether to spend what little money she has on food or medication or heating.

00:02:22.000 The Bible tells us when you bless elderly Jews living in poverty like Galena, you will receive blessings in return. 0.99

00:02:28.000 Through the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews and your generous donation, you can bring hope to the people in need.

00:02:35.000 Your gift of just $25 will help provide a food box packed full of life-saving essentials that will help feed an elderly person struggling to survive.

00:02:42.000 Don't delay. Your gift today will help provide the life-saving food and hope that Galena and many like her desperately need.

00:02:47.000 To rush your gift, call 888-488-IFCJ. That's 888-488-4325.

00:02:53.000 Or give online at glennforthefellowship.org.

00:02:56.000 That's glennforthefellowship.org.

00:02:58.000 You know, selfishly, I'm sitting down, trying to turn everything off and just enjoy some time with family over the last day or so, and the phone starts going crazy.

00:03:16.000 And I start seeing the same things.

00:03:19.000 I'm sure many of you have seen too.

00:03:22.000 And then it hits me.

00:03:25.000 I mean, you think about what it's like for us as we're used to be.

00:03:31.000 You could do a fill-in shift for Glenn or for anybody at this time of year, and it would be a lot of talk about, hey, Black Friday sales.

00:03:40.000 Did you get enough turkey? Did you eat too much?

00:03:45.000 All of these kind of inconsequential, slow, sort of boring things to talk about.

00:03:52.000 And I yearn for those times.

00:03:57.000 It's a different day in America.

00:03:59.000 It's a different day today, and I think we have to realize why that is and what's at stake.

00:04:09.000 So, as I mentioned, it's Justin Barkley.

00:04:11.000 I'm filling in for Glenn on what I like to call Beck Friday, on Black Friday.

00:04:17.000 I have the pleasure and the honor of doing this the last several years, and we get great conversations going.

00:04:24.000 In fact, maybe give a chance to join in today.

00:04:27.000 Love to hear from you, because I'd like to kind of hear where you're at, what you're feeling, the pulse of what you're thinking today.

00:04:36.000 For me, I said, you know, selfishly, for me, as I'm sitting down thinking about just wanting to turn things off a little bit and have some time with family, kind of having an idea of what we want to talk about today and where we want to go.

00:04:48.380 But then you have this breaking news, and I can't think, I can't even bring myself to a bear to think about what it was like for the families of these two Guard members.

00:05:03.380 You know, this news hits us in our gut, and I can imagine what it feels like to be on the other side of this.

00:05:09.380 I can't even imagine what they're going through.

00:05:11.380 One of those members is dead today.

00:05:16.380 One of those members will never come home.

00:05:18.380 Not just this Thanksgiving, but will never.

00:05:21.380 Will never come home for Thanksgiving, for Christmas.

00:05:26.380 Her name was Sarah Beckstrom.

00:05:29.380 And she and the other member who was brutally assassinated, that's what this really was, a brutal assassination, this attack that took place in broad daylight, point blank, with a man who we're learning even more and more about.

00:05:45.380 There's lots that people don't want you to know about this man, but we'll try and bring you as much of that as we can today.

00:05:52.380 As he went on this rampage attacking both of them and shouting, Allah Akbar, at the same time.

00:06:02.380 Sarah Beckstrom was 20.

00:06:05.380 She had, along with the other Guard member, just taking the oath there and sworn in, I guess, in Washington.

00:06:20.380 And her story and the pictures and how young she was and how much life she had left ahead of her is just, it's incredible.

00:06:28.380 It's heartbreaking and on a scale that I can't, I, I, again, I can't even imagine.

00:06:35.380 Just steps from the White House.

00:06:43.380 This takes place in a moment where the nation is on edge.

00:06:46.380 And boy, are we like more than ever.

00:06:49.380 Every, every moment, it does seem like we're walking on eggshells.

00:06:55.380 Every moment, there's something new.

00:06:57.380 You're just waiting for the next shoe to drop, right?

00:07:04.380 Just days ago, we had the story of the Seditious Six.

00:07:09.380 These are the congressmen and women.

00:07:11.380 One of them from my great state of Michigan.

00:07:15.380 I'm coming to you today from Wood Radio, W-O-O-D, in Grand Rapids.

00:07:20.380 The radio station over 100 years old and celebrated serving this community.

00:07:26.380 I'm grateful to be able to do it.

00:07:29.380 But in our state, we're represented by a senator named Alyssa Slotkin. 1.00

00:07:34.380 She was one that really led the charge almost in the making of this video, the manufacturing of this video.

00:07:43.380 Now, who's behind it?

00:07:45.380 That's even more as we dig a little bit deeper into this story and why it all connects and why things just feel a little different right now.

00:07:56.380 But she was proudly proclaiming the other day that, you know, there's some orders you may not want to follow.

00:08:05.380 You may find them illegal.

00:08:11.380 In fact, one of our colleagues in the same video say you must not follow these orders.

00:08:17.380 Rhetoric from the last months out of the folks on the left, Democrats, the media, but I repeat myself saying the same thing over and over again. 0.99

00:08:26.380 You know, Trump is a fascist, Republicans, conservatives are Nazis, and the folks in the National Guard, they are, they're like the Gestapo. 0.98

00:08:44.380 Here she was just a couple of days ago on ABC's This Week, claiming the National Guard was going to start shooting civilians any day now. 0.99

00:08:56.380 Look at these videos coming out of places like Chicago.

00:08:59.380 It makes me incredibly nervous that we're about to see people in law enforcement, people in uniformed military get nervous, get stressed, shoot at American civilians.

00:09:09.380 It is very, a very, very stressful situation for these law enforcement and for the communities on the ground.

00:09:16.380 So it was basically a warning to say, like, if you're asked to do something particularly against American citizens.

00:09:22.380 That's not what it was.

00:09:23.380 In fact, we know that.

00:09:25.380 We know the whole thing was scripted.

00:09:27.380 We now know who might actually be behind it.

00:09:31.380 In fact, there are some details that we've got to sift through a little bit later on today.

00:09:38.380 And in fact, this hour of the program that will shine some light on this.

00:09:45.380 But I don't think, you know, you can't ignore these things.

00:09:49.380 In fact, you don't have to be going back with the chalkboard and the crystal ball now to be able to see through what's happening.

00:09:57.380 It's so obvious it's happening right in front of our face.

00:10:04.380 And you see stuff like this and it's kind of hard, you know, it's kind of hard to go about your daily in the business of doing what it is that we need to do, but we must.

00:10:19.380 So I think part of our mission today is to try and figure out how to walk that line as we are faced with the reality again that the country is changing and has probably already changed.

00:10:30.380 In fact, I mean, it really has in ways that we've got to be honest with ourselves about.

00:10:39.380 There's no sticking your hat in the sand like an ostrich.

00:10:41.380 There's no just trying to pretend like this didn't happen.

00:10:50.380 So we've got to face it.

00:10:52.380 We've got to come to grips with what is really going on, and we've got to also make sure that we do our best to continue to do what matters most, to talk about what matters most, to fight for what matters most, and in some ways still try to carry out lots of the things that make us who we are, the traditions, the things that are some of the most important.

00:11:22.380 I think maybe getting together yesterday with family.

00:11:29.380 Maybe getting together and having conversations is what we needed more than anything.

00:11:34.380 I don't know how they went for you, but for our family, they went well.

00:11:40.380 There was no incident where people were yelling at each other and calling each other names or whatnot at our table now.

00:11:46.380 I don't know what that was like for you.

00:11:51.380 But in an America where things are seemingly more divided, I say seemingly because it feels that way, you get around the dinner table and you get in person and it's a little different, isn't it?

00:12:05.380 It makes you wonder.

00:12:09.380 I mean, the things that happen on social media and, you know, I'm not some massive presence online, but I've got a decent footprint in what I see coming in on a daily basis.

00:12:21.380 It doesn't even shock me anymore, but I see lots of divisive rhetoric and comments and things from people that, yeah, I think being behind the keyboard and not in person gives them the courage of a keyboard cowboy that most don't have when they do come face to face.

00:12:40.380 But I also think we're being influenced.

00:12:43.380 I think there's a lot of foreign actors that want nothing more than to sow the division and tear this country apart. 1.00

00:12:50.380 And boy, when you break it all down, it goes even to a much deeper level.

00:12:56.380 Well, that's what we're going to try and do today is is dig into the root of all of it.

00:13:02.380 We will have more on this story out of Washington, D.C.

00:13:05.880 And of course, as the family of Sarah Beckstrom deserves our prayers at a moment like this for the peace and comfort that only the Lord can give them.

00:13:22.880 We also pray for the family of the guardman that is continuing to recover.

00:13:28.960 And there is some good news.

00:13:30.340 In fact, I've I've got this was from just this morning on a release on this coming up in just a moment.

00:13:35.800 But first, we'll take a quick break back after this on the Glenn Beck program.

00:13:43.460 There's always somebody on my list that is impossible to shop for.

00:13:46.800 Tanya is a given.

00:13:48.000 What do you get for your wife that really is perfect and special in every way?

00:13:52.180 Something that, you know, she'll just love.

00:13:53.840 I have no idea.

00:13:55.080 She is impossible for me to buy for unless I shop at Cozy.

00:14:00.340 The Bamboo Pajama Set.

00:14:02.580 She wears them every night.

00:14:04.000 She loves them.

00:14:04.920 They're made from soft stretch knit bamboo that drapes and sleeps degrees cooler than cotton.

00:14:10.760 She's always cold.

00:14:11.760 It's warm for her.

00:14:13.080 It's lightweight.

00:14:13.800 It's cozy.

00:14:14.440 It's perfect for the holiday mornings or winter nights.

00:14:16.640 Plus, the Cozy Earth bubble cuddle blanket is also something I just got her one of those.

00:14:22.880 Oh, my gosh.

00:14:23.460 She loves it.

00:14:24.380 If you don't know what to get your wife, start with comfort that lasts beyond the holidays.

00:14:43.580 Mark Lee and for Beck today on the Glenn Beck program.

00:14:58.120 And we're going to give you a chance to join in here momentarily.

00:15:00.960 But first, I wanted to give you this news.

00:15:02.300 So we have Sarah Beckstrom, who was just sworn in, serving in Washington, D.C., that guards member from West Virginia. 0.89

00:15:10.160 And the second injured in this situation was Andrew Wolfe.

00:15:14.680 Now, just this morning, in fact, and he's 24, she's 20, he's 24.

00:15:20.360 He's still fighting for his life.

00:15:21.960 We got word going on nearly two days now.

00:15:26.600 Shot by this individual President Trump calls an animal.

00:15:30.060 Pray for a miracle, they say online.

00:15:32.300 This is Jeanine Pirro this morning talking about it and giving us a little bit of an update.

00:15:38.920 The other guardsmen, of course, we still have hope.

00:15:43.300 He's still in critical condition.

00:15:45.580 We are doing everything we can to assist his family and to make sure that they have everything they need during this difficult time for them.

00:15:53.880 We are all praying for Andrew Wolfe.

00:15:56.600 Again, a 24-year-old, taken by total surprise by an individual who made the decision to take a life on Thanksgiving Eve.

00:16:06.600 He did not have that right.

00:16:08.480 And the United States government will prove that.

00:16:10.660 So, I don't know how much I want to get into this now, but at some point we're going to have to get into the background of this individual and exactly who he was, how he got here.

00:16:27.160 And part of this is you got to make sure you shine a light on him in the situation.

00:16:33.860 I don't like to shine a light on the name of the individual.

00:16:36.800 I don't like to give people any more credit, but we've got to make sure that we surely point the finger of accountability here.

00:16:47.060 This individual should have never been here.

00:16:49.520 So, he was brought in from Afghanistan under the Biden regime, and this happened, in fact.

00:17:03.480 President Trump made a really interesting point about this the other night, and he was doing that kind of press conference news moment.

00:17:11.980 And he shows, in fact, shows, he loves to have, like, visual aids, but he shows a picture of one of these airplanes that was loaded up with folks, packed to the gills, giving a little bit of the details on this.

00:17:31.040 In fact, in part of this moment, he took a reporter.

00:17:36.300 I mean, he took this reporter to task.

00:17:38.580 It was fantastic, that, but first, here's what he says about that individual.

00:17:44.140 As you may know, DHS has confirmed that the suspect is an Afghan national, flown here by the previous administration, who was such a bad administration. 0.91

00:17:56.780 And I have a picture of a plane.

00:18:01.160 This is what it looked like when they came in.

00:18:03.020 It was total bedlam.

00:18:03.900 Do you remember that period of time?

00:18:05.720 Total bedlam.

00:18:06.400 People crammed onto the plane.

00:18:10.300 And the toughest, meanest, most capable physically got on the plane, not the people that we were looking for or that they wanted to bring in.

00:18:20.360 Here's a picture for you.

00:18:21.460 Just take a look at that plane.

00:18:24.000 Standing on top of each other and sitting on top of each other.

00:18:26.860 This is what we had under the Biden administration.

00:18:29.040 That whole thing should have never, ever happened.

00:18:32.700 They should have left from a different base.

00:18:35.500 They should have left from Bagram, as you know, and it would have been a much different story.

00:18:42.560 But they didn't do that.

00:18:43.780 And this was a this was just a route, just a terrible situation.

00:18:48.680 The Sainte's atrocity reminds us that we have no greater national security priority than ensuring that we have full control over the people that enter and remain in our country. 0.96

00:19:01.080 For the most part, we don't want them.

00:19:04.720 They come in illegally.

00:19:07.260 They have a lot of problems.

00:19:08.940 Their countries force them in because their countries are smart.

00:19:11.480 They don't want them.

00:19:12.600 Let's give them to the Americans to take care of. 1.00

00:19:14.700 They come out of jails in many cases.

00:19:17.340 Mental institutions.

00:19:18.820 They're gang members. 0.99

00:19:20.020 They're drug dealers. 0.98

00:19:21.540 We don't want them.

00:19:22.380 Here's the here's the moment that I think had everybody, everybody on on edge.

00:19:30.600 But, gosh, in moments like this, you've got to have somebody.

00:19:35.600 You know, you can argue about how he says it, but you've got to have somebody that will. 0.98

00:19:40.840 Lay down the law and a reporter as a just incredibly ridiculous question. 0.91

00:19:47.320 The president lets him have it.

00:19:48.460 Why do you blame the Biden administration?

00:19:50.140 Because they let him in.

00:19:51.100 She said, why do you blame the Biden administration for this? 1.00

00:19:54.800 Are you stupid? 1.00

00:19:55.940 Are you a stupid person? 1.00

00:19:57.240 Because they came in on a plane along with thousands of other people that shouldn't be here. 1.00

00:20:03.080 And you're just asking questions because you're a stupid person. 0.99

00:20:06.500 And we there's a law passed that it's almost impossible not to get to get them out. 1.00

00:20:11.740 You can't get them out once they come in.

00:20:13.880 And they came in and they were unvetted.

00:20:16.560 They were unchecked.

00:20:17.500 There were many of them.

00:20:18.460 And they came in on big planes and it was disgraceful.

00:20:22.680 And if you look, you'll see there was a law passed.

00:20:25.100 It makes it almost impossible not to let them in, not to certify them, so to speak, once they come in.

00:20:32.140 And they came in and they shouldn't have come in.

00:20:34.860 And frankly, the whole thing was a mess.

00:20:36.840 The whole Afghanistan situation was a mess. 1.00

00:20:39.880 We shouldn't it should have never taken place.

00:20:42.200 If we're going to go out and we would have gone out because I had everybody ready to go.

00:20:46.300 We were going to go out with strength and dignity.

00:20:48.620 So I've got to let me to cut the president off.

00:20:50.620 But we're getting close to break here.

00:20:51.860 And I got to make this point.

00:20:53.940 So we want more information about who the guy is and why all of this happened.

00:20:57.580 But I'm going to I'm going to if I can, we'll give you details on that coming up within the hour.

00:21:02.180 But also, I want to if I can just make this point, because this, I think, in the thumbnail is the issue.

00:21:09.940 You know, a lot of us when the president won.

00:21:13.880 You may be even one of these folks.

00:21:15.980 A lot of us just celebrated.

00:21:17.380 We were excited.

00:21:18.140 We couldn't believe it.

00:21:18.920 We almost felt like I know I certainly did.

00:21:21.800 Like our nation was spared.

00:21:23.340 You know, we celebrated what a miraculous moment, especially that millimeter miracle where he was spared in his life.

00:21:32.780 He shot and we thought, well, this is it.

00:21:35.920 We've won.

00:21:36.860 God's turned everything around.

00:21:38.580 You know, that that that is true.

00:21:42.460 But it's not completely over.

00:21:44.560 In fact, there's more.

00:21:46.840 This is Glenn Beck.

00:21:49.260 Holiday time is high crime season, but not all crime should be addressed the same way.

00:21:55.080 According to a 2022 FBI stat, firearms are necessary less than one percent of the time.

00:22:00.900 Burna covers the other ninety nine percent of altercations with the firepower that is necessary to incapacitate an attacker for up to 40 minutes.

00:22:08.980 So next time you think you need lethal force, think of Burna.

00:22:12.600 Start with Burna.

00:22:13.680 B-Y-R-N-A. 1.00

00:22:15.000 I carry one myself.

00:22:15.980 I recommend every family concerned about safety should have a Burna launcher.

00:22:20.080 The new Burna Compact is the world's smallest, less lethal pistol, concealable anywhere.

00:22:25.100 It fires powerful kinetic and tear gas rounds that can stop an attacker cold for up to 40 minutes.

00:22:29.660 With 60 feet of range, you can confidently and effectively de-escalate a situation without the use of lethal force.

00:22:36.680 No background checks, legal in all 50 states, ship straight to your door, and Burna is approved by the pros, trusted by hundreds of law enforcement agencies.

00:22:43.920 Visit Burna, B-Y-R-N-A dot com and find the right launcher for your family.

00:22:48.040 B-Y-R-N-A dot com. 0.99

00:22:49.320 That's Burna dot com.

00:22:51.140 You and your family deserve the truth.

00:22:54.220 Get it from Glenn free at Glenn Beck dot com.

00:22:57.760 Well, so what is happening?

00:23:23.720 I mean, we're seeing things in this nation, even though we thought, you know, at the end of the day, the election of President Trump might save us all.

00:23:33.900 Some of us had a little bit more skepticism about that.

00:23:37.420 At the end of the day, you've got to know exactly what we're up against.

00:23:40.000 And by the way, all the things they've been doing, not just in the last four years, but I'm talking about for decades, didn't stop.

00:23:48.460 They didn't come to a screeching halt the minute he got elected.

00:23:51.120 We continue to have to fight against those things.

00:23:53.960 And how you do that, really, the only way is to know exactly what you're up against.

00:23:58.660 As we watch the things that have really transpired over the last week or two, particularly with the seditious six Congress members coming out, telling folks in the military intelligence community, you don't have to you don't have to obey those orders.

00:24:13.620 Those are illegal orders.

00:24:14.660 And, in fact, they went a little further.

00:24:18.260 It wasn't just you don't have to.

00:24:21.160 It's, you know, if you do, Trump's not going to be president forever.

00:24:26.020 And we'll have a bit of accountability when we get back in charge.

00:24:37.480 Sort of a promise they made.

00:24:40.560 We're finding out more about this entire operation.

00:24:44.160 And it is.

00:24:44.760 It's slick.

00:24:45.420 The messaging's all, well, it's all planned.

00:24:50.920 It all works together.

00:24:52.400 We're scripted.

00:24:53.440 In fact, we heard Gallego from Arizona, the senator, the other day on CNN, admit that he didn't get to cut his portion because he, I don't think he got the script in time is what he said.

00:25:06.240 You see, this is how it works.

00:25:08.360 It's well funded.

00:25:09.720 It's well thought out.

00:25:11.260 And it's planned thoroughly.

00:25:13.100 Justin Barkley in for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck program.

00:25:16.380 Our next guest is going to walk us through that, exactly what we're up against and why we've got to face it.

00:25:23.140 Folks, if you want to, if you want to really want to save this country, if you want to make it so that your grandkids and your kids and their grandkids have a chance to grow up in a place that you remember, and maybe even better.

00:25:40.100 Boy, you gotta, you gotta make sure that you take the steps to recognize what's going on, get educated on it, and then form that plan together as we fight back.

00:25:54.900 James Simpson's with us right now.

00:25:56.520 He's written the book on this whole thing.

00:25:58.180 In fact, he's an author.

00:25:59.300 He's investigative journalist.

00:26:00.920 His bombshell expose is out right now on the destructive cloward and pivot strategy Glenn's been talking about for years.

00:26:07.600 He explains all about how the Biden-Harris administration employed it before our very eyes and what we're watching really play out in front of us today.

00:26:16.580 This is The Chickens Coming Home to Roost.

00:26:18.660 Manufactured Crisis is the name of the book, The War to End America.

00:26:21.620 James, appreciate you being here with us today.

00:26:24.420 Yeah.

00:26:24.960 Hey, Justin.

00:26:25.740 Great to be with you this morning.

00:26:27.700 You know, you've talked about this at length for some time.

00:26:30.800 I know Glenn's talked about it with you in the past before.

00:26:33.740 This is something that I guess a lot of us sort of were lulled to sleep in some ways as the president got reelected.

00:26:41.680 And we thought, okay, good, everything's going to change.

00:26:44.220 But there's still a lot of this that's happening.

00:26:46.320 In fact, it's hard to stop a train or a big ship that's, you know, even a tractor-trailer headed down the road.

00:26:56.140 We've had that.

00:26:57.940 It's been coming at us for a long time, a head-on collision.

00:27:01.580 And to be able to put the brakes on something like this, we really have to understand it.

00:27:05.340 So can you walk us through specifically what we're facing, what we're up against, and particularly with the last week's events?

00:27:13.140 Yeah, well, you know, it's been called a color revolution, similar to what happened in the post-Soviet Russian states like Ukraine and Kyrgyzstan and others.

00:27:30.140 But it's really not a color revolution.

00:27:32.440 You know, color revolutions were nonviolent, and I think I'm skeptical that they actually were genuine changes.

00:27:43.840 They were apparent changes, but without any real change because those governments remain as corrupt as they were before and probably underground there just as communist as they were before.

00:28:05.180 But what we're facing really here today is much more like the Bolshevik resolution in 1917 when the Bolsheviks, a very tiny party, you know, Bolshevik was defined as the majority,

00:28:23.860 and the Bolsheviks, who were the socialists, who were less radical, were declared the minority, and that was by Vladimir Lenin when in an early 1900s meeting all the Bolsheviks who were disgusted with what Lenin was talking about they wanted to do,

00:28:45.660 when the Bolsheviks walked out, he declared, we are the majority, and they weren't the majority at all.

00:28:53.860 But it's a violent revolution.

00:28:58.220 It's not a nonviolent revolution in any sense of the word.

00:29:02.600 And it has been, you know, they've been working away at it, whittling away at it for about 100 years.

00:29:10.460 And, you know, it started with the, well, it actually started before the Frankfurt School,

00:29:18.560 but it really gained a lot of momentum when all of these scholars from the Institute for Social Research in Frankfurt, Germany,

00:29:29.820 were transferred to the United States in 1933 after Hitler came to power,

00:29:37.740 because most of the college professors of this so-called Institute for Social Research were all communists,

00:29:47.620 and many of them were actually Soviet agents who were working undercover with that, you know, pretext as a reason for them to be there.

00:29:58.160 And they were, many of them were Jewish, so they had two strikes against them,

00:30:04.800 and they were resettled into the United States in 1933 at Columbia Teachers College,

00:30:11.060 where they proceeded to instruct the majority of future teachers, college professors,

00:30:18.960 and administrators throughout the United States with their poisonous ideology,

00:30:25.720 which we've come to know as cultural Marxism, but they called it critical theory.

00:30:32.900 And critical theory criticizes everything about Western society, top to bottom.

00:30:39.240 And then the subsequent critical theories like critical race theory and critical legal theory

00:30:44.760 and critical women's studies, there's dozens of them just split it into smaller pieces so that subsequent segments of society could be divided 1.00

00:31:00.280 and turned against each other.

00:31:03.520 And the whole idea is to create so much chaos and so many crises that we just basically go off the rails

00:31:14.180 and it launches a civil war that they hope will give them the pretext, if they're in power at the time,

00:31:26.060 for declaring martial law and then clamping down on all of us, taking away our Second Amendment rights,

00:31:35.280 seizing all our firearms, seizing our property, seizing our resources,

00:31:41.180 and turning this country into a Soviet-style state.

00:31:48.200 And that's really what's been going on.

00:31:52.380 James, can I ask you?

00:31:53.980 Can I interrupt you?

00:31:55.940 But I've got to ask you, how close are we to that?

00:31:58.660 Knowing what you know, based on the past, lining it up with where we are now,

00:32:03.200 how close are we to that?

00:32:04.500 Because it definitely feels like we're being pushed in that direction.

00:32:06.980 Oh, yeah, no, we are definitely being pushed in that direction, and we have been.

00:32:14.580 And, you know, it's a combination of two things.

00:32:18.060 One, you know, after four years of Biden's fraudulent administration,

00:32:28.400 that momentum really gained strength, and those people were given a free reign.

00:32:37.540 And, you know, just one simple example is this latest case where now the female National Guardsman 0.87

00:32:45.860 in Washington, D.C., we learned this morning that she died.

00:32:51.200 She had been shot in the head, so her father said it was a mortal wound that she wasn't going to make it.

00:32:58.800 And the other National Guardsman who was shot is fighting for his life.

00:33:02.580 You know, that's just one tiny example of the kind of chaos that the Biden regime deliberately created

00:33:13.360 by basically letting anybody and everybody into this country.

00:33:20.700 They did not vet the Afghan veterans, many of whom deserve to get what they call a special immigrant visa 0.99

00:33:30.180 to come to the United States because they had helped the United States and were in threat for their lives

00:33:35.760 if they stayed.

00:33:37.900 You know, Biden let anybody in, but he blocked a lot of those people from coming in,

00:33:43.240 and it was deliberate.

00:33:44.080 It's like that administration took anybody who was our friend,

00:33:52.800 and if you were our friend, you were their enemy, and so you were going to get punished for it.

00:33:59.560 And it is the most vicious and vindictive administration in the United States history. 0.75

00:34:06.380 I think they're all a bunch of traitors right up to it, including Joe Biden,

00:34:14.020 and they should all be paying for it heavily.

00:34:16.920 But so there's two things there.

00:34:20.020 First, they had that momentum, and they had already gotten a green light from many local governments

00:34:27.140 to go and riot like in Portland, Oregon, and many, many other places, Seattle, Washington.

00:34:34.240 And I feel like they have the momentum on their side.

00:34:41.240 And then at the same time, now we have Trump getting elected and America finally waking up

00:34:47.780 and seeing that they can say, no, we've had enough.

00:34:52.900 We don't want this anymore. 0.98

00:34:54.660 It was kind of like it never dawned on anybody before that we didn't have to run up with this garbage. 0.96

00:34:59.620 And so at the same time that they have this momentum, 0.92

00:35:05.260 they're also threatened very directly by the fact that they may be stopped

00:35:13.160 and not only stopped but arrested, sent to jail, fined, and everything else.

00:35:20.520 And so they're desperate at the same time.

00:35:23.460 So they're being even more violent and more dangerous than they were before.

00:35:32.420 And, you know, this Afghan national, he had worked with the special forces,

00:35:38.460 and one of his best friends had been denied this immigrant visa

00:35:46.160 and was subsequently murdered by the Taliban.

00:35:50.080 So he was off the rails about that, although it's hard to know

00:35:54.600 because so many of the Afghans that we worked with turned against our own soldiers

00:36:00.020 who, under the Obama administration, were not allowed to carry loaded weapons.

00:36:06.440 You know, it's an insane thing.

00:36:08.280 So they were basically just sitting ducks for those Afghans 1.00

00:36:13.880 that decided that they didn't like America, and they just started shooting them.

00:36:18.460 And so that entire episode of that disastrous pullout,

00:36:28.680 which I think was deliberately disastrous, created chaos from that one aspect,

00:36:39.620 but that was just one of so many others.

00:36:43.340 And there are so many things we have to think about and realize today.

00:36:47.940 And the most important thing is the upcoming midterm elections.

00:36:53.040 All right, James.

00:36:53.560 We must.

00:36:54.840 Yeah.

00:36:55.260 Yeah, let me stop you right there,

00:36:56.700 because I think you're going to make a critical point.

00:36:58.380 But we've got to take a break.

00:37:00.480 You're talking about the midterms.

00:37:02.020 It's so important.

00:37:03.180 People need to hear this.

00:37:04.580 But I also want to find out from you,

00:37:06.120 what do you think the solution on all this is?

00:37:08.260 As you lay out what's been happening,

00:37:10.320 and this has been in the making for decades now,

00:37:14.380 but how do we stop it?

00:37:16.300 Obviously, the first step is letting people know what's really going on.

00:37:20.720 And that's part of this, getting this word out, the education piece.

00:37:23.500 If you want to really dig into this,

00:37:24.740 Manufactured Crisis is the name of the book.

00:37:27.020 James Simpson will tell you where to get it and talk more about that.

00:37:29.600 First quick break.

00:37:30.440 We're back after this.

00:39:00.720 We've been hearing from our author or guest,

00:39:13.040 James Simpson wrote Crisis, Manufacturing Crisis,

00:39:15.760 The War to End America,

00:39:16.600 just talking about how to put a stop

00:39:18.880 to all the things that we're seeing.

00:39:20.480 And one of the biggest points he just made

00:39:21.980 was the midterms are coming up

00:39:23.600 and maybe the most critical.

00:39:25.900 We don't have a lot of time here,

00:39:27.400 but make your point, James.

00:39:28.560 This is big.

00:39:29.140 Yeah, no.

00:39:31.180 So absolutely,

00:39:33.100 the Republicans have not been doing nearly enough

00:39:36.960 to assure that the midterms are won

00:39:41.420 at the state level and the federal level,

00:39:43.980 especially in U.S. Congress,

00:39:45.440 because of the Democrats regaining control of Congress,

00:39:49.000 and Trump is just going to spend the next two years

00:39:52.520 fighting impeachment and everything else.

00:39:55.900 We absolutely have to win that election.

00:39:59.140 And the people who are behind all this,

00:40:02.480 they need to be demonetized,

00:40:04.520 and many of them need to be arrested.

00:40:07.320 We need to take serious action

00:40:09.220 for a little bit of our country.

00:40:11.120 James, I appreciate it.

00:40:12.260 I know you're passionate about it, folks.

00:40:13.980 Got to read the book,

00:41:57.140 This is the Glenn Beck Program.

00:42:04.140 There is an international investigation going on as we speak.

00:42:08.140 Cash Patel, director of the FBI, talking about that.

00:42:10.140 Sources of the Afghan suspect worked in the CIA.

00:42:14.140 Zero units.

00:42:17.140 Latest on those developments on this story that continues to break with pieces and bits coming out as we speak.

00:42:24.140 Justin Barkley in for Glenn today.

00:42:26.140 Oh, and by the way, you're going to see more and more of this.

00:42:29.140 Little cracks is always how this happens.

00:42:31.140 Little cracks, little pieces here and there.

00:42:34.140 Debbie Wasserman Schultz out on CNN just moments ago, I guess.

00:42:38.140 Blaming Trump for the Guard members being shot and one of them dead.

00:42:44.140 You're going to see more and more of that.

00:42:46.140 That's always where it lands.

00:42:47.140 Blaming Trump.

00:42:48.140 Well, he gets some credit for some things coming up in just a little bit.

00:42:52.140 We'll get into that.

00:42:53.140 What's happening in Nigeria, by the way, it's been going on for a long time now.

00:42:57.140 You're just only hearing about it recently.

00:43:00.140 Over the last several decades, a man we know of spent some time there in a mission.

00:43:06.140 And he'll give us details about what's happening in Nigeria behind the scenes, not just with the Christians, but the genocide itself and why it matters, why you're hearing about it most recently.

00:43:19.140 It's all coming up in just moments today.

00:43:22.140 Again, Justin and for Glenn on the Glenn Beck program.

00:43:25.140 Holiday time is high crime season.

00:43:39.140 Not all crime should be addressed the same way.

00:43:41.140 According to a 2022 FBI stat, firearms are necessary less than one percent of the time.

00:43:47.140 Burna covers the other ninety nine percent of altercations with the firepower that is necessary to incapacitate an attacker for up to 40 minutes.

00:43:55.140 So next time you think you need lethal force, think of Burna.

00:43:58.140 Start with Burna, B-Y-R-N-A. 1.00

00:44:01.140 I carry one myself.

00:44:02.140 I recommend every family concerned about safety should have a Burna launcher.

00:44:06.140 The new Burna Compact is the world's smallest, less lethal pistol, concealable anywhere.

00:44:11.140 It fires powerful kinetic and tear gas rounds that can stop an attacker cold for up to 40 minutes with 60 feet of range.

00:44:17.140 You can confidently and effectively deescalate a situation without the use of lethal force.

00:44:36.140 You've seen a lot of this in the news lately.

00:44:45.140 And in fact, it's it's important that it gets covered because there's so much happening.

00:44:52.140 It's hard to really keep an eye on it all.

00:44:55.140 And the question is, if it's happening there, how soon before it happens here?

00:44:58.140 And folks, I guess that's probably one of the reasons why most people say they really ought to pay attention to this.

00:45:06.140 In Nigeria, the stories that we've been seeing are just incredible lately.

00:45:13.140 Unless it's happening in our own backyard.

00:45:15.140 And even then, sometimes it takes some some folks really a lot of time before they really start to know what's going on and understand that it is important.

00:45:26.140 Brad Brandon is a founder and CEO of across Nigeria, wanted to get a glimpse into what really is happening on the ground there for two decades.

00:45:36.140 He served in the ministry there.

00:45:38.140 He spent 10 years as a drive time talk host with talk radio connections.

00:45:44.140 Since then, in 2018, devoted himself to full time foreign missions in high risk.

00:45:50.140 So he'll be able to give us all the details about what's happening there in the heavily persecuted regions there in Nigeria and West Africa.

00:45:58.140 We appreciate it.

00:45:59.140 Thank you for taking the time today, Brad.

00:46:01.140 This is a big story.

00:46:02.140 We've we've been talking with you about it previously.

00:46:05.140 And I know even the president shining some light on it right now.

00:46:08.140 Want to get down to the truth.

00:46:11.140 Somebody who's seen it from the ground.

00:46:13.140 Hey, Justin.

00:46:15.140 Good to be on with you.

00:46:17.140 You too, Brad.

00:46:18.140 Tell us if you can.

00:46:20.140 And by the way, you know, I'm going to say it.

00:46:24.140 Happy Thanksgiving.

00:46:25.140 I think we can still say that we can even in these really dark times in these tough moments.

00:46:31.140 And maybe especially it's important as a pastor.

00:46:34.140 I'm sure you get this.

00:46:35.140 It's important for us to maybe talk about those things.

00:46:38.140 So we'll do it.

00:46:39.140 What is going on in Nigeria?

00:46:41.140 And what's the background on it?

00:46:43.140 Well, the background is, is that there is a genocide that's been going on for over 10 years.

00:46:49.140 We've been working there for about 10 years and I've seen it grow every single year.

00:46:55.140 And we've been crying from the mountaintops that this has been going on for all of that time.

00:47:01.140 And it's only been recently that the media here in the West has started to shine light on what's happening.

00:47:08.140 But really what's going on is it's a targeted genocide against Christians.

00:47:14.140 Most of northern Nigeria is where all of this is happening.

00:47:18.140 It is northern Nigeria is mostly Muslim, probably about 90, 90 percent Muslim.

00:47:24.140 And 12 of the northern Nigeria states are controlled by Sharia law, which is one reason why we here in the United States should care about that. 1.00

00:47:33.140 But you're looking at probably over 50,000 Christians have been killed since 2009.

00:47:39.140 Last year of all the Christians that were killed in the entire world that were martyred for their faith, 90 percent of them were killed in northern Nigeria.

00:47:49.140 So this is a huge issue.

00:47:51.140 It's a huge issue.

00:47:52.140 It's a huge problem that Christians here in the United States should wake up to. 0.99

00:47:57.140 What what what do you think is going to take that?

00:48:00.140 And the reason I ask is because, you know, we were just talking about our previous guest here the past week or so on the horrific attack on the two national government.

00:48:10.140 And and and and what's going on, why this is so important, the roots of it.

00:48:16.140 And then how do we how do we really you know, how do we fight back?

00:48:19.140 What are the solutions?

00:48:20.140 And I think a lot of these things and by the way, I think you're going to get this, too.

00:48:23.140 But like a lot of the stuff we're looking for answers and solutions in the natural here, unfortunately, that are probably spiritually based more than anything else.

00:48:36.140 How do we make people care, though?

00:48:38.140 I mean, how do we make people when there's so much happening right now?

00:48:43.140 Not to dump all this on you, Brad, but, you know, people are saying, I guess it's hard for me to put food on the table right now with with with my family.

00:48:50.140 I'm worried about, you know, the economy or whatever it might be.

00:48:53.140 And I think we're so inundated that these very important topics we sometimes we miss.

00:48:57.140 I think one of the things is us here in the United States.

00:49:01.140 And I'm currently in the U.S. headed back to Nigeria in about two weeks.

00:49:05.140 But here in the United States, we have the greatest country in the entire world.

00:49:11.140 We have an abundance of everything here in the United States.

00:49:15.140 Even the poor of us here in the U.S. live like kings compared to the rest of the world.

00:49:21.140 Northern Nigeria is an area where people live on less than a dollar a day.

00:49:25.140 And because of inflation, food is actually more expensive there than it is here.

00:49:30.140 Now, one of the things that scripture teaches me as a pastor and a spiritual leader is to those that are given much, much will be required.

00:49:40.140 So those of us here in the United States who've been given all of the freedoms, all of the abundance that we have, all of the conveniences that we have, each of us have access to our own little audience on social media.

00:49:52.140 We need to use that to be a voice for people who have no voice and take a stand for people who can't stand for themselves, particularly our brothers and sisters in Christ.

00:50:04.140 And those are in northern Nigeria who are suffering under this persecution.

00:50:09.140 We have to wake up and realize that what's happening in northern Nigeria is just it's almost like a foreshadow of the things that we see happening here. 0.74

00:50:19.140 I was just telling somebody the other day, Justin, that every time that I come back to the U.S. from Nigeria, the United States is looking more and more like Nigeria every time I come back.

00:50:31.140 And it all has to really do with radical Islam and corruption and Sharia law, all of these things. 0.99

00:50:38.140 Northern Nigeria is a foreshadow of things that are happening here in the U.S. 0.97

00:50:44.140 Wherever radical Islam is given a foothold, this is what happens. 0.99

00:50:49.140 And we're allowing that to enter the United States.

00:50:53.140 We're allowing radical Islam to have a stronghold here in the United States. 1.00

00:50:58.140 So for those two reasons, one, we've been given so much here in the U.S.

00:51:02.140 And we have a vested interest in this because we see it filtering into our country.

00:51:08.140 The church in the United States needs to wake up and start doing something about it.

00:51:13.140 Yeah, I think that's a very good point.

00:51:17.140 You mentioned this and I know there's it's not just Christian persecution there.

00:51:22.140 This this is happening to lots of folks in Nigeria.

00:51:26.140 But walk us through what you know what what you think that looks like.

00:51:31.140 Sharia law, by the way, that's another big, big buzzword we've been hearing here in America, especially what's happening in Texas and places like Michigan, where I'm at as well.

00:51:39.140 These are these are these are things that are starting to key at the top of folks consciousness right now.

00:51:46.140 Yeah, absolutely. Sharia law, like I said, controls 12 of the northern Nigeria state.

00:51:52.140 This is a place where if you are a Muslim and you convert to Christianity because you want to leave that brutal system. 1.00

00:52:00.140 That is a blasphemy law that is punishable by death under Sharia law.

00:52:06.140 Women are worth half that of a man under Sharia law. 1.00

00:52:10.140 Children are abused under Sharia law.

00:52:13.140 These are all things that are happening openly accepted in the system of Sharia law.

00:52:18.140 We even see it filtering here in the United States.

00:52:21.140 Back in 2009, there was a superior court judge who consulted an I mom to make a decision on a woman who was accusing her husband of abuse.

00:52:32.140 And because her testimony was worth half that of her husband, the I mom under Sharia law told the judge to believe the man over the woman, the man's testimony over the woman. 0.99

00:52:44.140 That superior court judge in New Jersey, of all places, decided to rule against the wife and not give the wife the protection that she needed. 0.73

00:52:55.140 That is Sharia law creeping into our own legal system. 0.99

00:52:59.140 It's happening under the Arbitration Act in the UK, the under the Arbitration Act in the UK.

00:53:05.140 They are calling for Sharia law to be used as precedent in their legal court decisions.

00:53:12.140 So it's filtering into the West. It's filtering here into the United States. 0.74

00:53:17.140 And it is a dangerous system that robs the population of, I'll just say it, human rights.

00:53:25.140 It is it is an offense to human rights. Sharia law is. 1.00

00:53:29.140 And if you want to see that on full display, just look in northern Nigeria.

00:53:34.140 Like you said, it's not just Christians that are being targeted, although it's, I would say, inordinately targeted at Christians. 0.53

00:53:43.140 But Boko Haram and Aiswa that control a lot of the areas that I work in, they will target anybody who doesn't hold their radical beliefs. 0.97

00:53:52.140 They'll kill Muslims. They'll kill people of any religion that do not hold their radical beliefs. 1.00

00:53:57.140 So it is not just an assault on Christians. It's an assault on everybody. 0.98

00:54:02.140 Although I will emphasize and say that the persecution and the genocide that's happening in northern Nigeria, it is absolutely targeted toward Christians.

00:54:14.140 Pastor Brad Brandon, AcrossNigeria.org is the organization and the updates.

00:54:20.140 Now, you've seen and we have that President Trump in I don't have ever seen such a strong statement coming from the United States, but particularly shining a light on this.

00:54:32.140 It's just the beginning. But what what needs to happen?

00:54:37.140 Obviously, there are groups like you that are going in doing work on the ground.

00:54:40.140 But what needs to happen from the support of the United States as a whole and maybe even for folks that are listening?

00:54:48.140 Well, President Trump was calling for military action.

00:54:51.140 In fact, he said, we'll go in guns blazing.

00:54:53.140 When asked what he meant about that, he said airstrikes and possibly boots on the ground.

00:54:58.140 I welcome that. I will.

00:55:00.140 We've had presidents the past two presidents who have been asleep on this issue.

00:55:05.140 In fact, President Biden, one of the first things he did when he took office was he took Nigeria off the country of particular concern list while thousands of Christians were being slaughtered.

00:55:15.140 So I welcome any attention that a president is going to give to this issue.

00:55:20.140 And I think it's a complex issue that's happening in northern Nigeria.

00:55:24.140 You have groups like ISWA, which is the Islamic State of West Africa, and then you have Boko Haram.

00:55:30.140 Those are terrorist groups that have a radical Muslim ideology, and they will kill anybody who doesn't hold that radical belief. 0.97

00:55:39.140 So when we're talking about military action or even leveraging the Nigerian government to get involved with it, they've been asleep on this issue for a long time. 0.55

00:55:48.140 I think military action is what's needed when it comes to groups like ISWA and Boko Haram.

00:55:54.140 There's also an issue of the Fulani Muslims.

00:55:57.140 The Fulani Muslims are an ethnic group in northern Nigeria.

00:56:01.140 Now, there are some Fulani Muslims that are radicalized.

00:56:05.140 There are some who are militant in their approach, no doubt about that.

00:56:10.140 But most Fulani Muslims, and that's who I predominantly work with, we have Fulani Muslim schools that we operate throughout northern Nigeria.

00:56:19.140 These are peaceful people who just want to provide for their families, and they don't like Boko Haram.

00:56:25.140 They don't like what these radicals are doing.

00:56:28.140 And what happens in northern Nigeria, like so many other places when you're talking about Gaza and in other places around the world, these radicals are experts at embedding themselves in communities of innocent people.

00:56:42.140 And if you go in with airstrikes and boots on the ground, you're going to have massive collateral damage.

00:56:48.140 And not only that, but you're going to drive some of those youth in those innocent communities further, and you're going to entrench them into the radical ideology of Boko Haram and ISWA.

00:57:00.140 So I think that there's, it's not just one approach.

00:57:04.140 It's not just all guns blazing.

00:57:06.140 It's not just all airstrikes.

00:57:08.140 There needs to be a combination of that.

00:57:10.140 But there also needs to be a combination of settling some of these socioeconomic issues that are driving a lot of this violence.

00:57:18.140 The Fulani Muslims in northern Nigeria a lot of times will attack Christian villages just simply because they're running out of grazing ground for their cattle.

00:57:28.140 Fulani Muslims are cow herders, and Christians in northern Nigeria are predominantly farmers. 1.00

00:57:34.140 Well, when a cow wanders onto those farm fields and eats a farmer's crop, you get the conflict that happens a lot of times in northern Nigeria.

00:57:43.140 So it's very complex.

00:57:45.140 But I do applaud the president for what he said and what he's doing and taking a stand for those Christians in northern Nigeria because so many other presidents have not.

00:57:54.140 The conversation continues after this.

00:57:58.140 Brad Brandon across Nigeria talking about what's happening, the genocide there, and the president's response to it.

00:58:04.140 But also, what you can do, and the surprising part here is it won't cost you anything.

00:58:10.140 It might even be the most important coming up next to fill you in after that right on the Glenn Beck program.

00:58:16.140 There's always somebody on my list that is impossible to shop for.

00:59:19.140 Brad Brandon with us across Nigeria.org and recently a piece in Town Hall, townhall.com where you can go look that up and check out what he's had to say about some of these latest issues and really dig into the conversation, the topic.

00:59:44.140 Brad, you and I have talked about what people can do, and obviously your organization accepts donations and things like that, and we don't want to slight that at all because it's a big part of what you're doing.

00:59:55.140 I think even more important, you've mentioned with me when we talked about this before, and it won't even cost you anything, and that's to pray.

01:00:02.140 Yeah, that's what the church needs to be doing right now.

01:00:07.140 And as a pastor, I look to Scripture to guide me, and in Hebrews 13 it talks about how Paul calls the church, when people are suffering for the name of Jesus Christ,

01:00:20.140 he says that we should bind ourselves as bound with them.

01:00:25.140 And what he means by that is binding ourselves so closely to those who are suffering for the cause of Christ that it's as though it's happening to us.

01:00:34.140 So instead of looking at this as something like, oh, that's too bad that that's happening to those Christians over there,

01:00:40.140 the church here in the United States needs to wake up and say, this is happening to our brothers and sisters in Christ.

01:00:47.140 If they're in pain, I'm in pain. If they're going through this, I'm going through this.

01:00:51.140 And that leads to the point that you just made is the church here in the U.S. needs to be on our knees in a concerted effort to be praying and lifting up these Christians in northern Nigeria.

01:01:04.140 And not just pray for them like in a polite way, like we often say in church, I'll pray for you.

01:01:09.140 But I mean, a systematic effort here in the United States by the church to pray for these Christians who are suffering,

01:01:17.140 getting on our knees as faith communities, as churches, as Bible studies, as prayer groups and lifting up these people because they are suffering right now.

01:01:28.140 And most of the schools in northern Nigeria have been shut down so children can't even leave their home to go to school.

01:01:34.140 Our schools in northern Nigeria have been shut down because of the recent kidnappings that have happened just in the last week and a half.

01:01:41.140 So this is a time when we need to be fighting this battle through the most powerful weapon that we have.

01:01:47.140 And that weapon is praying for those Christians who are suffering genocide in northern Nigeria.

01:01:53.140 I know you've got a big event coming up at the Museum of the Bible.

01:01:56.140 If people want to keep in touch with you, find out.

01:01:59.140 Maybe, in fact, you're going to be in the area.

01:02:00.140 I'd love to go check out, Brad, or dig into Across Nigeria.

01:02:03.140 Best way to do that, AcrossNigeria.org, Brad?

01:05:04.140 Actually, I don't go into the store much at all for anything.

01:05:06.140 I probably should.

01:05:08.140 But I just feel like it's a lot easier just to, like, order stuff and pick it up kind of thing.

01:05:13.140 That's sort of the way I approach things now.

01:05:17.140 I just don't.

01:05:18.140 I don't want to be bothered with actually going into the store.

01:05:22.140 And then, you know, we got little kids.

01:05:24.140 So you take little kids into the store and they're buying stuff.

01:05:26.140 And, you know, I can't tell you how many times we've gone into stores where they'd pull stuff off the shelves.

01:05:30.140 The shelves like candy or something and start ripping into it and opening it and getting into it.

01:05:34.140 While you're in line, it's like, oh, guys, I got to pay for that now.

01:05:37.140 So no matter where you are today, like I said, I'd love to hear from you.

01:05:43.140 That's 888-727-BECK. 0.81

01:05:47.140 888-727-BECK.

01:05:50.140 Give you a chance to weigh in.

01:05:52.140 Love to hear from you.

01:06:18.140 Don't wait.

01:06:19.140 GlennBeck.com.

01:06:20.140 So I told you about it earlier.

01:06:22.140 I've got a couple of videos I've got to play for you.

01:06:24.140 Judge Jeanine, who just rips in a new one. 0.96

01:06:26.140 And listen, gone nuclear in ways that I guess we've got to celebrate these days, right? 0.96

01:06:33.140 But also, it's already started.

01:06:35.140 You knew it was a matter of time.

01:06:36.140 Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the Democrat radical from Florida,

01:06:41.140 found the way somehow on CNN to blame Trump for the latest, this horrific attack from the terrorist in D.C. on the National Guard.

01:06:51.140 We need to make sure that we have tight and appropriate and proper vetting.

01:06:55.140 If there were gaps that admitted this person, they would have failed over multiple levels of gaps.

01:07:02.140 And this individual was trusted enough to participate in assisting our military during the war in Afghanistan.

01:07:09.140 So I just think, you know, the president looks everywhere except inward to blame his own policies.

01:07:16.140 We need to make sure that we don't have our military deployed in our cities.

01:07:22.140 We're handling law enforcement responsibilities.

01:07:25.140 And we need to make sure that we address gun violence.

01:07:29.140 We certainly need to make sure we always have the proper and appropriate and tight vetting processes.

01:07:35.140 And those should be reviewed.

01:07:37.140 But wait, did you hear that?

01:07:38.140 Not only did she blame Trump, but she also blamed guns.

01:07:43.140 In the same, she was able to get both of those out.

01:07:47.140 Yes, it's Trump's fault.

01:07:48.140 Oh, and we got to blame guns at the same time. 0.83

01:07:52.140 These people, it's shameful.

01:07:54.140 They'll never admit it, but it's just absolutely shameful.

01:07:57.140 This is, you talk about victim shaming.

01:08:00.140 They also, they like to talk about victim shaming quite a bit, but this is, this is it.

01:08:06.140 So you're telling me it's the policies that put these individuals, in other words, if they never would have been in Washington, D.C., it's Trump's fault.

01:08:18.140 These people would be alive today.

01:08:19.140 One of them would be alive today.

01:08:21.140 But it's never the president's fault or his policies when it comes to his reaction. 0.90

01:08:27.140 And it's, it's pretty disgusting.

01:08:29.140 And what's even more disgusting is that these people will do everything in their power to crowbar and make it his fault.

01:08:37.140 When it, when it comes to the most, even the most horrific.

01:08:40.140 And, and like I said, it starts slow.

01:08:42.140 They're going to get the signal any minute now that they're going to push, push, push, push.

01:08:47.140 And eventually it, the dam will break and they'll all be pointing the finger at him.

01:08:51.140 They'll, they'll all be doing it.

01:08:53.140 You've already started to see bits and pieces of it.

01:08:55.140 We saw it happen early.

01:08:56.140 This is, I think this just happened early this morning.

01:08:59.140 Anyway, this was this morning, Judge Janine, attorney, U.S. attorney, Janine Pirro, saying now the Afghan shooter, obviously because of the death of Sarah Bruckman is going to be charged with first degree murder.

01:09:17.140 About, are we going to see an escalation in charges?

01:09:20.140 Oh, there's no question.

01:09:22.140 First of all, our hearts go out and our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of a beautiful 20 year old Sarah Beckstrom, who answered the call to serve her nation.

01:09:34.140 And she volunteered and she ended up being shot ambush style on the coal streets of Washington, D.C. by an individual who will now be charged with murder in the first degree.

01:09:49.140 There are certainly many more charges to come, but we are upgrading the initial charges of assault to murder in the first degree.

01:09:58.140 And we are hoping that the more information we can get and the more investigation that is going on 24 seven now around the clock in Washington.

01:10:09.140 The more we will find out about what actually happened in terms of this individual even being in this country and being in a position to ambush and shoot down an innocent young woman who was doing her duty to the people of this country.

01:10:26.140 It's, it's, it's unthinkable when you, when you, when you really wrap your head around it, it, it really, it really is unthinkable.

01:10:33.140 So here it is.

01:10:34.140 This is when she went nuclear, by the way, there's a couple of really good moments. 0.77

01:10:38.140 By the way, I'm going to put the, I'll put this clip too up.

01:10:41.140 I posted on social.

01:10:42.140 I'm everywhere at Mr.

01:10:43.140 Justin Barkley.

01:10:44.140 And I posted on my, my website too.

01:10:46.140 And I put my stack up later today, justinbarkley.com.

01:10:49.140 Let me say one more thing, and it's not about this case.

01:10:52.140 It's about vetting in general.

01:10:54.140 The nonsense that the left gave us with this Operation Welcome Allies.

01:10:59.140 Look, there was no vetting.

01:11:01.140 If you think there was vetting, I have a bridge to sell you.

01:11:04.140 If you saw the chaos that was going on at that airport in Kabul in Afghanistan, it was typical of what was going on in the Biden administration.

01:11:14.140 And the Pentagon, I believe it was Kirby, and people in the Biden administration said the Afghan withdrawal that we all know was disastrous was a success.

01:11:24.140 And that's a quote.

01:11:25.140 They called that a success.

01:11:27.140 That chaos is not a success.

01:11:29.140 That is a nightmare.

01:11:31.140 And 13 American servicemen and women were killed at that airport because the Biden administration couldn't get their facts together and couldn't make a decision regarding the rules of engagement

01:11:43.140 to take down a known suicide bomber.

01:11:46.140 You know, I know.

01:11:48.140 I know people, in fact, they know a young man who was there when all of that happened.

01:11:55.140 And I remember watching that at the time.

01:11:58.140 I know you do the same thing.

01:12:00.140 Anybody with, you know, half a brain could see how disastrous that whole thing was playing out and how it was going to play out.

01:12:10.140 And it was in real time. 0.98

01:12:14.140 It was just horrifying in real time to see what they were doing behind the scenes that just just absolute inept.

01:12:25.140 In fact, these you wonder you and auto pin was like running the whole show right behind the scenes auto pin.

01:12:34.140 Auto pin was the presidency.

01:12:37.140 You wonder if anybody was even making any of these calls.

01:12:40.140 I mean, that's that's the kind of thing you have to think about when you when you when you use, you know, truth, logic and common sense.

01:12:46.140 You come to these conclusions and it really makes you wonder.

01:12:50.140 Unless you you pull the curtain back and you realize the playbook is a lot, a lot more nefarious than than we were led to believe.

01:13:05.140 In fact, you know, when these people talking about the system systems systems broken, the systems not work.

01:13:13.140 Now, the system's working exactly how they've designed it to.

01:13:16.140 You dig in and you look at what Glenn's been talking about for years and clouded and pivoted this whole idea of trying to collapse things so that they can replace what was standing with what they what they have dreamt of.

01:13:31.140 For decades.

01:13:32.140 For decades.

01:13:33.140 So in the meantime, they don't care.

01:13:35.140 Chaos is welcome. 0.99

01:13:36.140 Crisis is welcome.

01:13:37.140 They want you afraid.

01:13:40.140 They want you cowering in fear.

01:13:42.140 They want innocent people.

01:13:43.140 Dying, unfortunately, because it gets them closer to being able to get to where they really want to go, which is their.

01:13:53.140 Fundamental transformation.

01:13:56.140 Right.

01:13:57.140 Of the whole thing.

01:13:59.140 They've got all the answers.

01:14:01.140 Just ask them.

01:14:02.140 They'll tell you.

01:14:05.140 Don't forget, it hasn't worked anywhere.

01:14:07.140 They've tried it.

01:14:09.140 It hasn't worked anywhere.

01:14:10.140 They tried it in the past.

01:14:11.140 And yet here they are.

01:14:14.140 Pushing it on us.

01:14:17.140 Yet again.

01:14:18.140 Hey, it's the same reason why Mom Donnie was so successful. 0.99

01:14:21.140 In New York City.

01:14:23.140 In fact, let's talk about that when we come back.

01:14:25.140 I want to shine some light on on what what's going on in New York City and why.

01:14:30.140 You know, I know it looks radical to you and me, but.

01:14:35.140 I think to most of those folks in New York, it looks like a brush of breath of fresh air.

01:14:40.140 And while the while they're welcoming welcoming all of that in.

01:14:45.140 This is the inconvenient.

01:14:46.140 By the way, this is the tough talk, right?

01:14:48.140 The inconvenient truth that you may not get anywhere else.

01:14:51.140 We'll do that after this.

01:14:53.140 In the meantime, jump into conversation.

01:14:55.140 888-727-BECK.

01:14:57.140 888-727-BECK.

01:14:59.140 Justin Barkley in for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck program.

01:15:03.140 Never put your future in another man's saddlebag.

01:15:07.140 Or your lunch.

01:15:08.140 You never know where that thing's been.

01:15:11.140 More Glenn Beck in a Jeff.

01:16:26.140 The vetting, again, part of the conversation about what's happening with these folks let in the Biden administration from Afghanistan.

01:16:45.140 Judge Janine, U.S. Attorney Janine.

01:16:48.140 About vetting in general.

01:16:49.140 The nonsense that the left gave us with this Operation Welcome Allies.

01:16:54.140 Look, there was no vetting.

01:16:56.140 If you think there was vetting, I have a bridge to sell you.

01:16:59.140 I love that.

01:17:01.140 I love that.

01:17:02.140 We have a flashback.

01:17:03.140 Can you, please, permit me.

01:17:06.140 Jen Psaki, can I circle back?

01:17:09.140 Can I circle back to Jen Psaki? 0.83

01:17:13.140 2021.

01:17:14.140 Here she is.

01:17:16.140 Circle back.

01:17:17.140 This is what she said.

01:17:18.140 The White House spokes at the time about those folks coming in from Afghanistan.

01:17:25.140 We've talked about this a little bit.

01:17:26.140 Others have as well.

01:17:27.140 But there are, of course, concerns among lawmakers, experts who have tracked this, who are saying

01:17:32.140 previous arrivals of large numbers of refugees from different parts of the world inevitably

01:17:37.140 there may be a handful, small handful, who are eventually deemed a security risk of some

01:17:43.140 kind.

01:17:44.140 What reassurances can you make about the screening process and the attempts to make sure that somebody

01:17:50.140 like that doesn't make his or her way here?

01:17:53.140 I can absolutely assure you that no one is coming into the United States of America who 0.76

01:17:57.140 has not been through a thorough screening and background check process.

01:18:01.140 Sure.

01:18:02.140 Sure.

01:18:03.140 There are many individuals, as you noted, who have not been through that process and they

01:18:07.140 have gone to lily pad countries as that process has been completed.

01:18:10.140 Well, that's what we were told.

01:18:12.140 And here we have, as Puro points out, you know, we've got one dead guardsman and another

01:18:20.140 in very serious critical condition as we continue to pray.

01:18:25.140 And that's in New York and all of this insanity of Mamdami is we were just talking about socialism 0.99

01:18:32.140 and how it's failed everywhere.

01:18:33.140 And so many people, you know, just young people don't get it because they never heard this.

01:18:39.140 We talked about this in the first hour and if you get a chance to go back on the podcast

01:18:43.140 and listen today at glenbeck.com, you'll be able to, you'll be able to hear this.

01:18:47.140 But a guest in Arthur Jim Simpson talked about that in his book.

01:18:52.140 And of course, in, in, in that, that, that, that Cloward and Piven strategy and this, this

01:18:57.140 Marxist takeover, what they've been trying to do for decades now is collapse the system.

01:19:02.140 So this is one of the ways you do it.

01:19:03.140 You let all these people in and you just don't care what happens.

01:19:07.140 It's burn it all down.

01:19:09.140 You don't care either way.

01:19:11.140 And so that's how bad it gets.

01:19:13.140 And we were just talking about this earlier, but you know, the bread in the circuses keep

01:19:17.140 people distracted, but even more so it's even more effective than bread in circuses is the

01:19:24.140 other side is when kids are so saddled with debt. 0.97

01:19:27.140 They were made to go to school, get indoctrinated with this, this just garbage being pumped into 0.97

01:19:34.140 their, their veins 24 seven. 0.99

01:19:38.140 They come out brainwashed and with a mountain of debt that they'll never pay off.

01:19:44.140 Oh, and by the way, when you get out, you'll never be able to get a job in critical underwater

01:19:50.140 basket weaving or whatever it is that you've taken.

01:19:53.140 You'll never get be able to get a job with any of those degrees.

01:19:56.140 They're not written the paper.

01:19:57.140 They're printed on on top of that cost.

01:20:01.140 Everything's gone through the roof.

01:20:03.140 And by the way, this is going to be a big point for the midterms.

01:20:08.140 And one of the things that Republicans folks underwrite Trump, the administration, they

01:20:12.140 need to do is again, point out, this is the Biden administration issue.

01:20:17.140 They created.

01:20:19.140 It even goes further back than that.

01:20:22.140 The Trump's working to bring those prices down.

01:20:25.140 Patience.

01:20:26.140 Yes, but it's going to be hard.

01:20:28.140 And this is why socialism sells.

01:20:30.140 These people never heard about it.

01:20:32.140 These kids that went to school.

01:20:33.140 You think they heard about socialism where they're being taught about America and America's

01:20:37.140 evil?

01:20:38.140 No.

01:20:39.140 They never got the truth about it.

01:20:42.140 They never got the truth about communism.

01:20:44.140 They never got the truth about what Mondani says he wants to do.

01:20:47.140 And all of this stuff sounds great.

01:20:49.140 It really is a shiny new object.

01:20:52.140 At the end of the day, it's evil because it's killed more people than you can even put

01:20:57.140 a finger on the actual number.

01:20:59.140 It's just incredible.

01:21:00.140 Millions upon millions upon millions.

01:21:01.140 It's never worked.

01:21:03.140 Well, that's because it's just never been done right.

01:21:06.140 But done right.

01:21:07.140 You know, see, that's the problem.

01:21:08.140 That's what they'll tell you.

01:21:09.140 They'll sit in there theorize and tell you all day long.

01:21:11.140 I mean, that's the real problem.

01:21:13.140 No, no, no.

01:21:16.140 So no wonder these kids are lapping it up. 0.63

01:21:19.140 I don't blame them for that.

01:21:20.140 But we ought to get good at making sure we reach them and messaging that directly talks

01:21:25.140 to them.

01:21:26.140 That's why they came out and voted in mass for President Trump this last election.

01:21:31.140 They thought he would help.

01:21:32.140 And he can.

01:21:33.140 We got to make sure we keep that message in front.

01:21:38.140 This is Glenn Beck.

01:21:40.140 This is Glenn Beck.

01:21:41.140 This is Glenn Beck.

01:21:42.140 This is Glenn Beck.

01:21:47.140 Thank you, Reggie.

01:21:48.140 This is Glenn Beck.

01:21:50.140 I am owing.

01:21:52.140 Really?

01:21:54.140 Thank you.

01:22:24.140 Thank you.

01:22:54.140 As a Marine fighter pilot, this one bad dude, coming up, what Ed Rush is doing now might

01:23:03.480 even be more interesting.

01:23:06.520 In fact, we're going to lean on him today for a little wisdom, a little understanding,

01:23:11.200 and a little bit of the way forward on how to see things and hear them that you just

01:23:18.940 won't hear anywhere else and get some guidance.

01:23:22.060 In the days where everything's like AI and you don't know what to believe with the news,

01:23:25.320 I've seen a lot of this fake news, not just fake news, but like obviously fake news.

01:23:31.100 It's posted all over the internet these days.

01:23:33.900 You don't want to get the seed.

01:23:34.900 We'll tell you how you can make sure that you don't.

01:23:38.480 And speaking of AI, Thanksgiving ruined for a lot of folks.

01:23:42.660 We'll get to this story a little bit later on in the hour.

01:23:44.760 It's not because of politics and people arguing at the table.

01:23:47.840 No, it was because of AI recipes.

01:23:49.720 We'll talk about that and more on the way.

01:23:55.440 Justin Barkley in for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck Program.

01:24:04.960 The older I get, the more I think about trust.

01:24:07.780 I think about the people in my life who have my trust and earned my trust and the trust

01:24:12.940 that I have placed in some people who I later learned abused that trust.

01:24:16.820 I know we're alike in that way.

01:24:18.060 We don't trust a lot of people anymore.

01:24:20.000 It's like we're all Ronald Reagan trust, but always verify to make sure we're not making a mistake.

01:24:25.040 I find it a little exhausting, quite honestly.

01:24:27.480 And that's why I started realestateagentsitrust.com.

01:24:30.600 I didn't have good experiences with buying and selling my homes.

01:24:33.460 So we built Real Estate Agents I Trust to introduce you to one of the thousands of agents all over the country

01:24:39.080 that we work with that we have verified that they will help you have the most successful

01:24:44.380 and good real estate transaction possible.

01:24:47.680 Our network agents share our sensibilities, have great track records, are good and decent people,

01:24:53.280 and I trust them to help you with your real estate needs.

01:24:56.620 So whether you're moving across town or across the country, visit realestateagentsitrust.com.

01:25:01.640 The name says it all.

01:25:02.520 So how do you see through all the fog of war?

01:25:17.620 I mean, we really are at war.

01:25:18.860 Whether we realize it or not, whether you're talking in the natural or something a little more super,

01:25:24.940 that's really what we're up against, and the noise that we're constantly being bombarded with on a daily basis.

01:25:32.320 I thought it might be important to see if we can get some clarity and cut through some of that

01:25:38.320 with a man who knows a thing or two about it.

01:25:40.540 He's a Marine Corps F-18 fighter pilot, and what he's doing now is actually maybe even more exciting.

01:25:46.520 We'll have to ask him whether he feels that way or not, but I can tell you that I think he probably does.

01:25:50.380 He's still on mission, and this time as an author, speaker, and written several books,

01:25:55.220 and the author of one that I really enjoyed called God Talks.

01:25:59.060 Now let's talk to the guy that talks to God.

01:26:02.100 Ed, appreciate you taking the time to be here with us today.

01:26:04.320 Ed Rush.

01:26:05.120 Justin.

01:26:05.880 Man, it's awesome to be on the show.

01:26:07.200 Hey, by the way, happy Thanksgiving.

01:26:08.560 We have a lot to be thankful for.

01:26:10.060 As you said, you know, we're, I think, in a world at war, but it is nice just to sit back every once in a while

01:26:15.260 and just say thanks to the God who created everything and smile around that table with the family.

01:26:19.860 So I hope you're having a good weekend.

01:26:22.040 Absolutely, and I think, as you mentioned, that's so important.

01:26:25.020 I mean, look, we've got to face what we're up against, but at the same time, to give thanks, I think,

01:26:30.780 is even more necessary, especially in times like this.

01:26:35.060 So, yeah, let's talk about how did you, you've written this book called God Talks.

01:26:40.760 And my thought process for talking to you today is, first of all, I think it's an interesting subject, nevertheless.

01:26:47.540 But, like, how do we, and times, especially when I get questions from people that I talk to all the time,

01:26:53.780 listen or stream me online or whatever they do, and they're always asking,

01:26:58.560 how do we know what's real and how do we know what's not?

01:27:00.360 In fact, today I got that question again from Terry who said, look, can you talk about some of this AI fake news stuff?

01:27:06.940 It's all over.

01:27:07.860 It's everywhere.

01:27:08.520 How do we know what's real?

01:27:10.060 How do we know?

01:27:10.840 And I thought, you know, as we go into this time, and Glenn's talked about this, but the AI, and we might already be there.

01:27:16.340 We're at a time where you may not be able to tell what's real and what isn't.

01:27:20.020 And if we're not there yet, we're getting very close.

01:27:22.320 And so I kind of lean on and lean on that thought that it's going to be even more important to hear from a higher power, to hear from the Lord, to have, you know, to have that discernment, that wisdom to guide you in these times.

01:27:37.500 Yeah, I mean, fundamentally, I think the human question, like the human question, probably other than why are we here, is what's true?

01:27:46.320 You know, I mean, like if you go back in history, it has been fundamentally, every single war that started, started over a battle of what's true and what's false.

01:27:55.200 And, you know, like, dude, I'm a fighter pilot, so I don't do floaty, fluffy, wooey, wooey.

01:28:01.440 I'm interested in, like, what really works when you are fighting gravity for a living.

01:28:05.960 You know, the fundamentals like physics, Bernoulli's law, when the stick goes forward, the houses get bigger.

01:28:12.060 When the stick goes backwards, the houses get smaller.

01:28:14.340 They're kind of basic fundamentals are really important to me.

01:28:16.640 And so, yeah, when I started to, like, go after this question as to, like, what is really true?

01:28:21.400 And by the way, what you said about AI is really true.

01:28:23.580 Like, we live in the most noisy, most confusing, most difficult to discern truth world.

01:28:31.160 And we have access to more information.

01:28:33.380 That paradox completely befuddles me, by the way.

01:28:36.500 And so, yeah, I started to try to figure out, like, the answer to that.

01:28:39.820 And to be perfectly open, like, I didn't believe in any of this stuff.

01:28:44.740 Like, the things that I teach nowadays, and just, you know, big picture, I teach real people how to have a conversation with the real God.

01:28:51.740 It doesn't matter your religious background.

01:28:53.720 It doesn't matter your, you know, family upbringing.

01:28:56.880 It doesn't matter anything.

01:28:57.800 Like, literally, just start to end how to have a very simple conversation with God.

01:29:03.040 And it's important, you know, I didn't believe in any of this stuff.

01:29:05.520 Like, even 15 years ago, when I sort of stumbled into this process.

01:29:10.460 But fundamentally, the most important thing that you can do, I think, is connect with the God who created you, handcrafted you, in His image.

01:29:18.780 That's an amazing three words, in His image, and just be able to just understand what He thinks about you, what He thinks about the world.

01:29:26.200 And it really clears through quite a bit.

01:29:27.760 And like I said, I have no patience for fluffy, fluffy, wooey, wooey, come by, sort of sit around the campfire and make up pious platitudes.

01:29:36.900 I'm interested in things that actually work.

01:29:40.300 So let me ask you, I mean, obviously, this process is pretty simple.

01:29:46.260 And you walk people through it in the book.

01:29:49.320 But if you wanted to give somebody maybe a thumbnail sketch or a place to start, for me anyway, like, I'll just say that I know that the biggest piece for me is, first of all, just, and it doesn't have to be a long thing, but just turning off the noise.

01:30:06.400 And I know that, you know, look, we're on the radio, we want you to listen to the show, we want you to listen to this radio station.

01:30:13.920 But every now and then, you know, even I do it, it got to take some time to turn it off, right?

01:30:19.820 So, yeah, I mean, I think what Justin's saying is listen to the whole show, then turn it off.

01:30:25.300 And then do the process.

01:30:27.420 So, I mean, you wouldn't want to miss this part, at least.

01:30:30.620 So, no, it's amazing.

01:30:32.080 So, you know, like, I live here in San Diego, I'm probably about 14 miles from downtown San Diego.

01:30:38.720 And if I want to get downtown, I jump in my car, head down, it's going to take me probably about 15, 16 minutes, and I'm downtown.

01:30:44.920 Well, 200 years ago, if I was to go from here to there, it'd be a walk.

01:30:48.320 I do a lot of walking, I can tell you.

01:30:49.960 That's about an hour and a half, at least, just for, or sorry, no, I'm doing the math wrong.

01:30:56.200 That's about a four or five hour walk, right?

01:30:58.360 Well, during that time, back in the old days, people used to literally just get into this state where they were just sort of in this zone.

01:31:05.320 Now, scientists have actually identified that state or that zone.

01:31:10.340 There's five different brainwave frequencies that science will tell you about.

01:31:14.200 It's not my job to go through each and every single one of them.

01:31:16.500 But I'll go in order.

01:31:17.700 However, you basically go all the way from the top, theta, beta, alpha, delta, gamma, and there is this zone just beside asleep and just above awake called theta, where it's like this, it's the zone.

01:31:38.740 It's like if you are just sitting there with a big smile on your face, you're perfectly calm, your thoughts are just moving very freely, that's the zone.

01:31:46.920 And I will tell you that most Americans, probably most people in the world today, because of our connectivity, move quickly through that zone.

01:31:53.420 They're either in some sort of high state of information processing or they're asleep.

01:31:57.560 And that's really where people operate.

01:31:59.120 But, yeah, if you can find yourself into this really still, small space, you're able to hear a lot better his still, small voice.

01:32:07.460 And it's actually very simple.

01:32:09.460 Step number one, just like you described, is to turn off the noise.

01:32:12.380 Just turn it off.

01:32:13.960 I don't know many people who can go even for five or ten minutes with nothing.

01:32:18.820 Like, I'm talking about turn the radio off after the show.

01:32:22.000 Turn off your TV.

01:32:23.160 Turn off the noise.

01:32:23.980 Turn off the conversation.

01:32:25.160 Find yourself into a place where you can just be quiet and just breathe for a little bit.

01:32:28.480 You actually find yourself into this new zone.

01:32:31.460 And I will just tell you, having taught tens of thousands, at this point, Justin, there's probably well over 100,000 people how to tune into God's voice just to hear him talk to you.

01:32:40.880 That when you can control your mind and find yourself into this still, small spot to hear his still, small voice, it actually accentuates your ability to do that.

01:32:50.500 The people that I know that really have difficulty, and like I said, I've trained a lot of people.

01:32:53.960 Occasionally I have someone who's like, oh, man, I'm really struggling with this or I'm having a hard time.

01:32:57.620 But it's because they're not able to slow themselves down.

01:32:59.880 And it's really important, especially in a time like this, dude, we're talking on the middle of the biggest shopping day of the year.

01:33:05.820 But we're also talking in the middle of what traditionally for people is a four-day holiday.

01:33:10.340 And I find, I don't know about you, but I find like after a holiday or vacation, I need like a vacation or a holiday.

01:33:15.640 Like it is busier for me.

01:33:17.700 These four days, I got like, dude, we're talking this morning.

01:33:21.240 I got to go get a big Christmas tree.

01:33:23.020 I'm getting a 13-foot Christmas tree this year.

01:33:24.780 The whole family's coming to the town.

01:33:26.340 I'm doing like full Clark Griswold.

01:33:28.760 I got the lights around the house.

01:33:30.500 And like I got four days off, man.

01:33:32.060 You would think this would be a place for a peace.

01:33:34.040 It's actually a place for just a lot of busy.

01:33:36.080 And so even five or 10 minutes just to get away, just to breathe a little bit, take your brain waves.

01:33:41.600 I could choose scientifically every single step along the way, take your brain waves down into a place where you can hear from God and it'll change your life.

01:33:49.380 So how do we apply this, especially when it comes to seeing through all the noise?

01:33:57.280 Because discernment, as I said, it'd be more important through the days ahead as you're seeing things that you don't know.

01:34:03.060 Is that real or was that fake or was that AI or is somebody lying to me about something?

01:34:08.780 I'm being pulled in every direction every day.

01:34:10.820 I think we all are, by people who want us to believe whatever narrative it is.

01:34:15.160 And these are questions we want to break down.

01:34:17.180 Ed Rush is with us right now.

01:34:18.460 I'm going to take a quick break, just a minute here.

01:34:20.980 But we'll be back with those answers and maybe the answers to what you're really looking for.

01:34:26.220 Right after this, Justin Barkley in for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck Program.

01:34:32.600 There's always somebody on my list that is impossible to shop for.

01:34:35.820 Tanya is a given.

01:34:36.620 What do you get for your wife that really is perfect and special in every way?

01:34:41.220 Something that you know she'll just love?

01:34:42.860 I have no idea.

01:34:44.100 She is impossible for me to buy for.

01:34:46.820 Unless I shop at Cozy Earth.

01:34:50.120 The bamboo pajama set, she wears them every night.

01:34:53.040 She loves them.

01:34:53.960 They're made from soft, stretch-knit bamboo that drapes and sleeps degrees cooler than cotton.

01:34:59.780 She's always cold.

01:35:00.800 It's warm for her.

01:35:02.080 It's lightweight.

01:35:02.840 It's cozy.

01:35:03.340 It's perfect for the holiday mornings or winter nights.

01:35:05.940 Plus, the Cozy Earth bubble cuddle blanket is also something.

01:35:10.240 I just got her one of those.

01:35:11.920 Oh my gosh, she loves it.

01:35:13.340 If you don't know what to get your wife, start with comfort that lasts beyond the holidays.

01:35:33.340 I'm Mark Lee in for BECK today on the Glenn BECK program and a BECK Friday.

01:35:47.000 A good friend, Ed Rush, is here.

01:35:48.200 He's an author and a speaker, and he's written this book, God Talks.

01:35:51.220 But I think he's actually got a new one that you may want to tell us about here in a second, Ed.

01:35:56.880 But listen to this article I just pulled up, and this will maybe take us in another direction here in a minute as well.

01:36:02.940 But physicists propose radical new theory of consciousness, and it could finally explain what happens when you die.

01:36:09.920 Now, this is science trying to explain what we've known spiritually for a long time,

01:36:15.960 but it's interesting because it says that we're all sort of connected in some way,

01:36:19.900 and it's got this theory of, like, just talking about, like, where some of these things come from.

01:36:25.380 When you have maybe a near-death experience, or maybe even when you're able to get answers in some ways when you're quiet, right?

01:36:32.860 That I think spiritually or religiously, we would just use different ways to explain that.

01:36:40.220 But isn't that interesting?

01:36:41.600 You talked about science that are kind of starting to prove these things that the Bible's talked about for years.

01:36:47.100 Yeah, it's awesome.

01:36:47.740 So I love science, by the way, and I love sort of talking about the brain especially

01:36:52.060 and just, like, how God really, truly, fearfully and wonderfully we were made, knit together in our mother's womb.

01:36:58.240 And I love the fact that, like, a lot of times people of faith traditions get a little weird about when it comes to science.

01:37:04.660 I think it's amazing.

01:37:05.680 Every scientific discovery for the last, you know, 2,000 years has done nothing but show and prove everything that we're teaching is totally right.

01:37:14.140 Like, I'll give you an example.

01:37:15.000 We're talking about the topic of hearing from God, right?

01:37:18.160 So when I teach people how to have a conversation with God, I usually actually start with the thing that I just talked about,

01:37:23.380 which is just how to slow yourself down, how to connect yourself back to His voice.

01:37:28.060 But the second thing I teach right after that is asking the right questions.

01:37:32.440 Now, you may wonder, like, hey, wait a second.

01:37:34.500 Why is that so important?

01:37:36.360 Like, you're talking to God.

01:37:37.300 Why are the questions so important?

01:37:38.880 The questions actually are important, not because of God, but actually because of your neurology.

01:37:43.820 I could go through literally the way your brain was created,

01:37:46.840 but there's two parts of your brain that are significant when it comes to receiving input.

01:37:53.740 The first one is called your neocortex.

01:37:55.760 It's this layer that goes over the top of your brain that turns into this massive 150,000 vertical supercomputers,

01:38:03.860 kind of all stacked on one another.

01:38:05.740 And then you've got this other area in your thalamus that essentially operates as a filter.

01:38:10.580 Like, if you walk through the airport, I'm heading out on the road again this week to do a little speaking

01:38:15.720 and, like, go to a couple events.

01:38:17.700 I'm going to walk through the airport here in San Diego, and I'll probably walk by eight or nine or ten gates.

01:38:21.960 During that time, if I see someone that I recognize, I'll be like, oh, what's up, Justin?

01:38:28.280 How you doing?

01:38:28.720 Like, I'll see you two gates away.

01:38:31.840 Now, what that means is that your brain has literally been filtering every single gate,

01:38:36.660 all 150 people sitting at every single gate.

01:38:38.960 Your brain's like, don't know her, don't know her, don't know her, don't know him, don't know him, don't know.

01:38:42.800 And then finally it catches someone you know.

01:38:44.840 It would be maddening, by the way, if all of that information made it past your brain filter system,

01:38:50.240 like you would never even be able to get to sleep.

01:38:52.300 And so your brain has this amazing ability to filter things out.

01:38:56.980 And if you're the kind of person who hasn't been having a daily sort of as-you-go conversation with God,

01:39:03.600 it's really likely that all of his communication to you is being filtered out, literally, neurologically.

01:39:10.780 I'm talking about a spiritual concept using physical, real principles.

01:39:14.340 And so when I teach people to ask good questions, I'm asking them to do that so that they'll create filters in their brain

01:39:20.380 to receive what signals, literally, what verbal, what visual, what olfactory symbols,

01:39:27.680 whatever it is that God's sending, that they create filters in their brain to actually receive that.

01:39:33.060 And so literally one of the very first questions I'll teach people, you've been through this exercise,

01:39:37.260 is like one of the first questions I'll have them ask is, hey, God, what lies do I believe about me?

01:39:42.340 And then I'll have them follow it up with what's true about me.

01:39:45.940 Of course, I break the whole process down in the book, but the brilliant genius,

01:39:50.720 and I'm not giving myself credit, just, you know, I wrote this three years before I discovered it scientifically.

01:39:56.140 Like literally, I found this out afterwards.

01:39:58.420 But the genius behind the way the questions are presented in the book is it creates a filter system in your brain

01:40:04.900 where you can catch what God's saying to you.

01:40:08.200 And I kid you not, dude, I've had 84-year-old, like, crusty Southern Baptists who are like, 0.90

01:40:14.740 look, God doesn't speak, I've never heard his voice, I'm 84 years old, I've been going to church,

01:40:19.760 who after 20 minutes of a little session are weeping, like literally crying, going,

01:40:24.380 well, man, if God can teach this 84-year-old Southern Baptist to hear from him, he can teach anyone, you know?

01:40:30.000 And like I said, it's sometimes just a matter of the filters.

01:40:32.420 But kind of back to your point, every time I see some new scientific discovery,

01:40:36.440 I realize it validates the claims that we're making, which is you were created by a loving God,

01:40:42.600 you were created in his image, and he really wants to have a conversation with you.

01:40:46.660 Like, he designed you for that kind of interface.

01:40:49.240 And I say, like, now's the time to get it started.

01:40:52.480 You know, one of the things, Ed Rush with us right now, he's the author of God Talks,

01:40:56.260 but one of the things that Glenn has said before, and in the days ahead with AI and everything else,

01:41:03.280 the way we're headed is there's going to be a time he's, I've heard him say this,

01:41:06.920 is you will depend on the Holy Spirit, you'll have to hear from the Spirit to tell you at some point,

01:41:12.520 either stop, don't go that way, turn back around.

01:41:14.900 That's how close and how connected that we'll need to be, and we'll depend on it for survival at times.

01:41:20.420 How do people take this and apply it into instances like that?

01:41:25.760 Dude, it's just a brilliant point, by the way, and I completely agree with you,

01:41:29.540 and of course agree with what Glenn said about that.

01:41:32.060 We live in a world where, first of all, it's difficult to find out if something's true or false,

01:41:36.220 but even if it's true, the next question is, is it important?

01:41:40.360 Like, you could spend an entire day just filtering through news stories,

01:41:45.920 like one after the other after the other.

01:41:47.680 And let's say theoretically, I mean, I don't even know what the percentage is,

01:41:50.980 depending on the outlet, probably, but let's say, I don't know, half of what you read is true.

01:41:55.220 You know, like, I've been reading a lot of articles this week about this comet,

01:42:00.400 like 3I Atlas, right?

01:42:02.320 Yeah, yeah.

01:42:02.900 This comet that could be a spaceship, that could be alien technology.

01:42:07.340 I mean, like, you know, I'm listening to Neil deGrasse Tyson and Brian Cox,

01:42:10.820 and I'm like, look, like, a lot of what I'm seeing is probably true,

01:42:15.340 the way that it came in, where it came from, like, I don't know.

01:42:18.240 But the next question is, like, is it important, you know?

01:42:21.080 And I think that's, like, an even more important question,

01:42:23.960 because you could give your heart and mind and soul to things that are true.

01:42:29.200 You know, you could spend, I had a guy come up to me.

01:42:31.800 I love him.

01:42:32.360 Don't get me wrong or anything.

01:42:34.080 And he literally, this guy, I mean, he spent, like, at an event that I was speaking at,

01:42:39.080 he spent, like, five, seven minutes trying to talk to me about his flat earth theory.

01:42:43.360 Okay, look, if that's you, I love you.

01:42:45.560 I think you're amazing.

01:42:46.460 I just told him, I said, look, why don't you give your life to something that has, like,

01:42:51.140 a real meaning to it?

01:42:52.120 Like, if you're right about this flat earth situation, then, like, at the end of the days,

01:42:57.180 you know, maybe you get a high five walking into heaven.

01:42:59.400 I don't know, you figure it out.

01:43:00.320 Like, yeah, you're right.

01:43:01.260 Why don't you give your life to something that actually has real meaning?

01:43:03.840 And that's what I mean about important.

01:43:05.000 Like, is it true?

01:43:06.060 Is it false or is it important?

01:43:08.100 And I think a conversation with God really dials you in on stuff like that.

01:43:12.400 Like, I will just tell you, there is nothing, I'm a fighter pilot, right?

01:43:16.200 There is nothing more important to me than accomplishing the mission.

01:43:19.600 And when you are focused on what God created you to do, you're going to change the world.

01:43:24.420 And it's going to be a lot of fun in the story.

01:43:26.180 Let's dig into that mission.

01:43:27.280 If you can hang with us for a second, Ed Rush will be right back.

01:43:30.400 How to hear when you need it most from God on the Glenn Beck Program.

01:43:36.060 This is Glenn Beck.

01:45:08.200 A.I. is ruining everything.

01:45:18.800 Some of the claims that people are making, in fact, may have even ruined Thanksgiving coming out the A.I. slop recipes that are ruining Thanksgiving.

01:45:26.660 We'll walk you through.

01:45:27.680 It's kind of similar to what's happening with news right now, fake news and A.I. news and A.I. generated stuff.

01:45:32.700 I went looking for yesterday, the Lions played, the Packers, and one of my wife's favorites, Cece Winans, did the—I think she's from Detroit—

01:45:42.700 actually did the National Anthem to open up the game, and we weren't home, so we missed it.

01:45:48.840 And I went looking for it, and I found on YouTube everywhere all this, like, fake—none of it was real.

01:45:54.060 It was, like, reports that they had—some A.I. had somebody made up about the thing, and I couldn't find it.

01:45:59.460 Eventually found the clip.

01:46:01.020 But it's like that everywhere.

01:46:01.960 There's so much of that flooding all of us, and a lot of times you come across things, and I get people that always ask me,

01:46:07.420 is this real, is that real?

01:46:08.540 And as we walk through this time, the discernment to know what's real, what isn't, what's fake, the A.I. involvement in it as well,

01:46:16.760 that's part of what we're talking about today with Ed Rush.

01:46:19.760 He's a Marine fighter pilot, retired now, now working on something even maybe even more exciting with his book, God Talks.

01:46:27.560 GodTalks.com, by the way.

01:46:28.940 Ed, welcome back in.

01:46:29.800 We were just talking about some of these things and how to do it.

01:46:32.060 And maybe, like, the application of in these moments, like, the very specific times where we might need to hear on something very important.

01:46:42.400 Should I make this move for work or my business or, you know, my job?

01:46:47.380 Or what do I do when it comes to treatments on something that I'm going through on my family?

01:46:53.840 Illness and things like that.

01:46:55.180 I mean, there's all kinds of different things that you could imagine people would want to, maybe if you could ask those questions, get the real answers to.

01:47:02.540 Uh-oh, did we lose them?

01:47:13.260 Ed, you there?

01:47:13.700 Sorry, man.

01:47:15.800 I had that mute button pushed on my phone.

01:47:18.040 That's a basic pilot error right there.

01:47:21.900 So, yeah, we used to chalk that up to, well, I won't make fun of pilots too much, but our maintainers would occasionally make fun of us for pushing the wrong button and then blaming them for something that wasn't working properly.

01:47:34.000 So, yeah, no, I was saying when I, literally, I was talking into my muted phone about how we live in this very complicated technological world, and the entire time I was talking about this very complicated technological world, the button, the mute button was on.

01:47:47.340 How ironic.

01:47:48.080 So, yeah, no, we live in this world that's just crazy, right?

01:47:50.840 And it's not going to get any better.

01:47:52.060 By the way, I love AI.

01:47:53.000 I think AI is an amazing tool, like the internet, like social media, like everything.

01:47:56.600 It can be used for good.

01:47:57.560 It can be used for ill.

01:47:58.740 But, you know, if you're using it well and smartly, I think that you can.

01:48:01.980 But, yeah, I think, you know, having a conversation with your creator, the one who made you in his image, about everything, not just the big things.

01:48:08.400 You mentioned, like, career moves or big relationship things or health.

01:48:12.080 I was reading this morning.

01:48:13.440 I actually woke up quite early.

01:48:14.780 I don't wake up all that early nowadays, even though I was in the Marines.

01:48:18.880 I woke up quite early this morning, and I was reading in the book of John.

01:48:21.620 And I came across this one statement.

01:48:23.740 And, by the way, whatever you believe and whatever your faith background, this will be meaningful for you.

01:48:29.400 Jesus was right at the end of his life, and he said, I know who I am, and I know where I came from, and I know where I'm going.

01:48:37.620 And I thought, man, if that isn't the epitome of one's life quest, you know, like if you knew where you came from, where you are, and where you're going, it would answer every other question for you.

01:48:52.100 Like, every other question would just literally fill itself in the blanks.

01:48:56.880 And fundamentally, what I'm trying to do with the world, and you know, Justin, we know each other.

01:49:02.160 Like, my goal is very simple.

01:49:03.360 I would like to see 8 billion people around the world, that's the entire world, simply waking up in the morning with a 10-minute conversation with God.

01:49:09.680 It would change everything.

01:49:11.240 We have a lot of issues in our world, certainly a lot of issues in our country, lots of division.

01:49:15.660 People are very angry at each other for lots of different things.

01:49:17.900 And some of you at Thanksgiving dinner experienced that last night, and I will just tell you, if only we brought our initial questions to God, I think it would change everything.

01:49:27.080 It would change everything for us.

01:49:28.560 Our politics would certainly change.

01:49:30.040 Our health systems would change.

01:49:31.820 Poverty would probably go away very quickly.

01:49:34.000 It would pretty much change everything.

01:49:35.340 And you can ask him anything about anything.

01:49:40.060 That's the thing.

01:49:43.880 I don't know if there's anything too big or too small.

01:49:47.900 You know, when you think about it, is there anything too big or too small to even bring to him?

01:49:53.040 I think he probably wants us to bring it all to him.

01:49:55.660 Yeah, it's been my experience, by the way, that the best thing that you can do is start, is do it with all the small things.

01:50:01.520 Like, for example, if you're right now facing a major health issue, I'm talking about, like, should I go and do chemotherapy kind of level decision?

01:50:10.020 If that's the first conversation that you're having with God, I don't want to be the bearer of bad news.

01:50:14.220 It's going to be very challenging.

01:50:15.200 Anytime something's really emotional, anytime something is, like, kind of a life or death kind of situation.

01:50:20.560 But if you've been walking with him, if you've cultivated that sort of, you know, you've trained your brain to be able to have that conversation, it's going to be a lot easier when the chips are down to be able to really hear from him.

01:50:31.780 That's why I say, like, look, I'm a Marine.

01:50:33.620 So, for me, training is everything.

01:50:36.040 Like, dude, the first time I landed in an airplane, I almost killed myself and my instructor.

01:50:41.100 I'll never forget.

01:50:42.040 We landed, hit the runway, started going to the right.

01:50:45.040 He started telling me to steer with my feet, which is how you steer an airplane.

01:50:48.740 I was trying to steer with my hands, like I learned in a car.

01:50:51.500 And my instructor was like, steer with your feet, steer with your feet, steer with your feet.

01:50:54.620 And right before we hit the sign on the side of the runway, he took the controls, took off, and saved our life.

01:50:59.640 And I was awful.

01:51:00.580 Like, my first flight, I was really bad.

01:51:01.980 And two and a half years later, I was landing on an aircraft carrier at night.

01:51:06.700 Well, how is that possible?

01:51:07.660 Very simple.

01:51:08.180 Training, practice, doing something over and over and over again.

01:51:10.920 And so, when I teach people how to have a simple conversation with the everlasting, ever-living God, it's as simple as just practicing it and doing it.

01:51:21.620 And when you can do it with the small things, what you do is you learn to ask them questions about the big things, big career moves, big business swings, investor ideas, stuff like that.

01:51:29.960 You can actually get really good answers, but you just got to practice.

01:51:33.920 Godtalks.com is the website and the book.

01:51:37.300 You have a kid's book out now, too?

01:51:40.000 Did I see that?

01:51:41.140 Yeah.

01:51:41.580 Yeah.

01:51:42.220 Yes.

01:51:42.760 So, we have Godtalks for kids.

01:51:44.580 So, I have four kids.

01:51:46.320 My kids go 20, 18, 17, and seven.

01:51:49.440 And same wife and everything. 1.00

01:51:51.400 Like, everybody asks me.

01:51:52.220 It's like, my second wife?

01:51:53.080 Nope.

01:51:53.340 Same wife. 0.94

01:51:53.860 We just, you know, 10-year gap, whatever.

01:51:55.880 So, when my little girl, JoJo, was three, I was in the process of writing Godtalks.

01:52:01.860 And we started doing Godtalks together.

01:52:06.120 I just recently did it.

01:52:07.360 She just turned seven.

01:52:08.180 But when she was six, we really got into it.

01:52:10.060 And we were asking some really in-depth questions.

01:52:12.240 And if you've ever watched a six-year-old have a conversation with God, it'll blow your mind, by the way.

01:52:16.540 It'll change your life.

01:52:17.280 Because what happens is God started speaking to my daughter, right?

01:52:20.700 And I'm sitting there taking notes for her.

01:52:22.000 She's telling me what she's hearing.

01:52:23.140 And what's crazy is she'll hear from God, but she won't do this.

01:52:27.760 Like, a lot of adults, God will say, I love you.

01:52:30.420 And the person will go, well, you can't love me because of all the bad things I've done.

01:52:33.880 And, oh, you don't understand who I am.

01:52:35.540 And I've just been such a horrible person.

01:52:37.440 Like, they actually start editing over.

01:52:39.660 Six-year-olds don't do that.

01:52:40.980 There's no filter.

01:52:42.180 There's no editing system.

01:52:43.500 There's no, like, weird conscience thing or something like that.

01:52:46.260 They're just sitting there receiving.

01:52:47.400 And the first time I watched my daughter have a conversation with God, I said, what did he say?

01:52:51.520 He said, I love you.

01:52:53.160 And I said, that's awesome.

01:52:54.040 I wrote that down. 1.00

01:52:54.640 And then she said, and God said, you're silly. 1.00

01:52:56.900 He said to my daughter, you're silly. 1.00

01:52:59.380 I thought, that's perfect because exactly who she was. 0.96

01:53:01.500 And so, together, we worked on this book called God Talks for Kids.

01:53:04.620 It's just, like, four fun chapters, about 50 pages long.

01:53:08.120 You can just walk through.

01:53:09.020 Kind of ideal for kids, about four to maybe ten, something like that.

01:53:12.360 So, man, if you're looking for a great Christmas present, so, God for Kids is the way to go.

01:53:18.900 You said he's working on another book.

01:53:20.360 I thought, man, I don't even know if I am.

01:53:22.100 But now I realize which book you're talking about.

01:53:25.080 Well, I'm glad to share it because I think it's never too early to talk to them about that.

01:53:30.480 I do that with my kids.

01:53:31.760 I got two girls that are, one's about to turn five, the other one just turned three. 1.00

01:53:36.860 And they are very, they don't have all the filters we have, you know, of thinking about what is and what isn't and what's possible and what's not.

01:53:47.720 And I guess it really is kind of a great example of that childlike faith.

01:53:53.100 It's like I once told a three-year-old to stop acting like a child.

01:53:57.160 It was not one of my best moments.

01:53:59.260 I was a little frustrated that day.

01:54:01.140 And I remember hearing myself say, you need to stop acting like a child and say, let's do a three-year-old.

01:54:05.280 And in that moment, I actually kind of told myself, maybe you should start acting like a child, you know?

01:54:12.640 I mean, I'll take all the wisdom and all the understanding and knowledge and the years of experience that I've got in my adult.

01:54:18.140 But sometimes, sometimes you just need to take the filter off, you know?

01:54:22.240 And you need to experience your creator as you were intended to experience him, as his daughter or as his son or as his friend.

01:54:31.100 And it will change your life when you understand that you have this creator that's actually really interested in having a simple conversation with you.

01:54:38.220 It doesn't even need to be important stuff.

01:54:39.940 It can be the most basic things like the parking spot that you're hoping to get in front of the mall today or, you know, or the deal that you want to get online.

01:54:47.560 It can be very simple.

01:54:49.200 Yeah.

01:54:49.340 I will do that.

01:54:50.580 I'm big with the parking spot.

01:54:51.980 I absolutely love that.

01:54:54.000 Hey, it's great.

01:54:56.420 Go ahead.

01:54:57.120 And I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to be here with us.

01:55:00.460 GodTalks.com is the website, the book, and I'll follow it on X and Facebook and Instagram, all those places.

01:55:07.020 Great follow and some good times.

01:55:09.140 I think you're going to really enjoy it.

01:55:10.600 Thank you for taking the time to help walk us through this process.

01:55:13.780 Justin, you're the man, dude.

01:55:15.060 Thanks for having me on.

01:55:16.520 You got it, brother.

01:55:17.280 Thank you and God bless.

01:55:18.280 Again, this is just some encouragement, especially in the times that we're in right now.

01:55:22.200 You can feel, and I know I've felt it over the last couple of days especially, but you can really feel the darkness creeping in.

01:55:30.400 But I think it's more important that we don't forget, especially on Thanksgiving weekend, right, what matters most, and we give thanks for it.

01:55:40.040 You know, the Bible says enter his gates with thanksgiving and praise.

01:55:43.760 Just that.

01:55:44.880 All right.

01:55:45.260 Back with more coming up.

01:55:46.620 By the way, the AI recipes that are ruining Thanksgiving and much more.

01:55:50.900 And these billboards that are popping up everywhere that have something to do with the seditious six. 0.84

01:55:55.580 I don't know if you've heard about these yet, but we'll shine a light on it.

01:55:58.560 Coming up on the Glenn Beck program, Justin Barkley back after this.

01:56:03.680 Freedom's worth a lot more than comfort.

01:56:06.220 Here's what I found on the web about that private conversation you just had.

01:56:09.540 What?

01:56:09.740 Are you uncomfortable yet?

01:56:12.660 Glenn Beck is back after this.

01:56:15.020 Holiday time is high crime season, but not all crime should be addressed the same way.

01:56:37.040 According to a 2022 FBI stat, firearms are necessary less than 1% of the time.

01:56:43.020 Burna covers the other 99% of altercations with the firepower that is necessary to incapacitate an attacker for up to 40 minutes.

01:56:51.140 So next time you think you need lethal force, think of Burna.

01:56:54.740 Start with Burna.

01:56:55.820 B-Y-R-N-A. 1.00

01:56:57.140 I carry one myself.

01:56:58.420 I recommend every family concerned about safety should have a Burna launcher.

01:57:02.220 The new Burna Compact is the world's smallest, less lethal pistol, concealable anywhere.

01:57:07.240 It fires powerful kinetic and tear gas rounds that can stop an attacker cold for up to 40 minutes.

01:57:11.800 With 60 feet of range, you can confidently and effectively de-escalate a situation without the use of lethal force.

01:57:18.620 No background checks, legal in all 50 states, ship straight to your door, and Burna is approved by the pros, trusted by hundreds of law enforcement agencies.

01:57:26.340 Visit Burna, B-Y-R-N-A dot com, and find the right launcher for your family.

01:57:30.180 B-Y-R-N-A dot com, that's Burna dot com.

01:57:43.520 Black Friday deals.

01:57:46.000 Or not.

01:57:46.840 This isn't an interesting story.

01:57:49.180 Over a third of Black Friday sales may not be what you think they are.

01:57:55.800 That's no surprise.

01:57:56.900 I saw a video last year that kind of blew the spotlight, the lid off of this.

01:58:01.140 And it's kind of an interesting conversation.

01:58:06.060 But first, the one that is, the one that's major, the one that's big, beautiful, the best, literally the best sale of all time.

01:58:14.300 Well, sort of.

01:58:16.180 Anyway, it's the official Glenn Beck Black Friday sale, and it's live right now.

01:58:19.660 Everything in the store is 25% off, and you can get the perfect Christmas gifts that stand for truth, logic, common sense, all of it.

01:58:27.920 Go to Glenn Beck dot com and click shop.

01:58:29.680 Greg did no king but Christ t-shirts, the hoodies, and more.

01:58:32.580 For all of it, you can save 25% off in the entire order.

01:58:36.760 So don't wait.

01:58:37.420 Glenn Beck dot com.

01:58:38.740 Do it today.

01:58:39.320 Justin in for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck program.

01:58:42.100 Justin Barkley dot com, where I'm trying to get through these next few stories in just a few minutes.

01:58:47.400 And if I don't, I'll make sure I put them all up in my stack at Justin Barkley dot com.

01:58:51.540 So you can hear them.

01:58:54.200 But first, or see them rather, this is staggering from CNBC.

01:58:59.020 Over a third of Black Friday sales aren't really discounts.

01:59:02.440 Last year, we saw that video that came out, major retail store.

01:59:06.140 There's somebody that pulled the sign back and revealed that under the Black Friday price was the same price.

01:59:14.040 It was like the original price.

01:59:16.980 I guess that's really not lying if you technically think of it.

01:59:23.340 It's still the Black Friday price, but it was the same price as the day before.

01:59:26.740 And we've even heard of some of these big, like Amazon and whatnot, going through and jacking up prices at a certain point so that they can lower them so it looks like you're saving.

01:59:35.680 I think some of this is what's caused some of us to sort of back down.

01:59:39.600 I just saw a report on Fox saying that they're going to have more traffic at the real stores this year than they've had in years as well.

01:59:46.160 I don't know.

01:59:46.980 A lot of the stuff I do get, I get online or I get delivered or whatever it might be.

01:59:51.540 And then at the end of the day, I was just having this conversation yesterday.

01:59:54.340 I don't need another big screen TV.

01:59:57.180 I don't really know what it is.

01:59:59.380 I'd rather put my money behind something like some of the gear from the Glenn Beck store because that goes to something I support and a cause that I'm behind.

02:00:09.640 I think people are thinking about things differently these days.

02:00:14.820 I really do.

02:00:16.200 I think we're looking at the world in just a completely different way.

02:00:20.720 All right, Putin's birds.

02:00:24.320 I don't know if we're going to be able to get to this story in its entirety either.

02:00:28.700 But Putin, in the next couple of months, I'm going to try my best.

02:00:33.360 Putin's got scientists that are working on making robo birds.

02:00:39.660 Pigeons.

02:00:40.380 Controlled by brain implants.

02:00:42.760 But first, the AI slop recipes that have ruined Thanksgiving food bloggers are being faked online.

02:00:51.160 Because they're using AI to basically clone like legit food bloggers and put them online on sites.

02:01:01.380 And one, this German blogger, they've not just cloned her, but they've cloned and made fake recipes. 0.96

02:01:06.300 And it's causing problems.

02:01:08.520 It's made a bit of an impact on Thanksgiving dinner.

02:01:12.760 AI-generated content, including images and recipes, recipes rather, that often inaccurately and can be hard to distinguish from real recipes with bloggers reporting sharp declines in visibility and traffic.

02:01:25.160 And people go to make them and they don't, they don't turn out well.

02:01:29.940 An unemployed son dressed as his dead mom to collect her pension in Mrs. Doubtfire scam while hiding her body at home.

02:01:38.900 Okay, let's leave that one.

02:01:41.120 Let's leave Putin and the robo pigeons.

02:01:45.320 And I'll give you this.

02:01:46.680 The Thanksgiving proclamation that came out yesterday.

02:01:49.280 In 1789, President of the United States and his office writes, just years after America's triumph over tyranny and the Revolutionary War, President George Washington established the first national day of Thanksgiving, declaring the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey his will, and to be grateful for his benefits and humbly to implore his protection and favor.

02:02:14.900 And all those years later, President Trump did it again yesterday.

02:02:19.800 Read the full one.

02:02:20.520 We'll put it up online.

02:02:22.820 It's always an honor and a privilege to be here with you, Justin Barkley, and for Glenn on the Glenn Beck Program.

02:02:27.860 This is Glenn Beck.
