Two members of the U.S. National Guard were shot and killed in broad daylight near the White House on Thanksgiving Day, and a suspect is in custody. On today's show, host Justin Barkley pays tribute to the fallen Guardsmen, and offers thoughts and prayers to their families.
00:01:38.000It's Justin Barkley and for Glenn today, this is the Glenn Beck Program.
00:01:44.000With the war in Ukraine, we've heard about a lot of people in both countries who are living through the nightmare of war.
00:02:03.000But there are also elderly Jewish people who are also trapped in this conflict facing unbearable poverty.
00:02:09.000Galena is a 96-year-old Holocaust survivor who has spent her life in the same village.
00:02:14.000She's sick, she's alone, and it's bitter cold.
00:02:16.000And today, like every day, she has to decide whether to spend what little money she has on food or medication or heating.
00:02:22.000The Bible tells us when you bless elderly Jews living in poverty like Galena, you will receive blessings in return.
00:02:28.000Through the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews and your generous donation, you can bring hope to the people in need.
00:02:35.000Your gift of just $25 will help provide a food box packed full of life-saving essentials that will help feed an elderly person struggling to survive.
00:02:42.000Don't delay. Your gift today will help provide the life-saving food and hope that Galena and many like her desperately need.
00:02:47.000To rush your gift, call 888-488-IFCJ. That's 888-488-4325.
00:02:53.000Or give online at glennforthefellowship.org.
00:02:58.000You know, selfishly, I'm sitting down, trying to turn everything off and just enjoy some time with family over the last day or so, and the phone starts going crazy.
00:03:59.000It's a different day today, and I think we have to realize why that is and what's at stake.
00:04:09.000So, as I mentioned, it's Justin Barkley.
00:04:11.000I'm filling in for Glenn on what I like to call Beck Friday, on Black Friday.
00:04:17.000I have the pleasure and the honor of doing this the last several years, and we get great conversations going.
00:04:24.000In fact, maybe give a chance to join in today.
00:04:27.000Love to hear from you, because I'd like to kind of hear where you're at, what you're feeling, the pulse of what you're thinking today.
00:04:36.000For me, I said, you know, selfishly, for me, as I'm sitting down thinking about just wanting to turn things off a little bit and have some time with family, kind of having an idea of what we want to talk about today and where we want to go.
00:04:48.380But then you have this breaking news, and I can't think, I can't even bring myself to a bear to think about what it was like for the families of these two Guard members.
00:05:03.380You know, this news hits us in our gut, and I can imagine what it feels like to be on the other side of this.
00:05:09.380I can't even imagine what they're going through.
00:05:29.380And she and the other member who was brutally assassinated, that's what this really was, a brutal assassination, this attack that took place in broad daylight, point blank, with a man who we're learning even more and more about.
00:05:45.380There's lots that people don't want you to know about this man, but we'll try and bring you as much of that as we can today.
00:05:52.380As he went on this rampage attacking both of them and shouting, Allah Akbar, at the same time.
00:07:45.380That's even more as we dig a little bit deeper into this story and why it all connects and why things just feel a little different right now.
00:07:56.380But she was proudly proclaiming the other day that, you know, there's some orders you may not want to follow.
00:08:11.380In fact, one of our colleagues in the same video say you must not follow these orders.
00:08:17.380Rhetoric from the last months out of the folks on the left, Democrats, the media, but I repeat myself saying the same thing over and over again.
00:08:26.380You know, Trump is a fascist, Republicans, conservatives are Nazis, and the folks in the National Guard, they are, they're like the Gestapo.
00:08:44.380Here she was just a couple of days ago on ABC's This Week, claiming the National Guard was going to start shooting civilians any day now.
00:08:56.380Look at these videos coming out of places like Chicago.
00:08:59.380It makes me incredibly nervous that we're about to see people in law enforcement, people in uniformed military get nervous, get stressed, shoot at American civilians.
00:09:09.380It is very, a very, very stressful situation for these law enforcement and for the communities on the ground.
00:09:16.380So it was basically a warning to say, like, if you're asked to do something particularly against American citizens.
00:09:27.380We now know who might actually be behind it.
00:09:31.380In fact, there are some details that we've got to sift through a little bit later on today.
00:09:38.380And in fact, this hour of the program that will shine some light on this.
00:09:45.380But I don't think, you know, you can't ignore these things.
00:09:49.380In fact, you don't have to be going back with the chalkboard and the crystal ball now to be able to see through what's happening.
00:09:57.380It's so obvious it's happening right in front of our face.
00:10:04.380And you see stuff like this and it's kind of hard, you know, it's kind of hard to go about your daily in the business of doing what it is that we need to do, but we must.
00:10:19.380So I think part of our mission today is to try and figure out how to walk that line as we are faced with the reality again that the country is changing and has probably already changed.
00:10:30.380In fact, I mean, it really has in ways that we've got to be honest with ourselves about.
00:10:39.380There's no sticking your hat in the sand like an ostrich.
00:10:41.380There's no just trying to pretend like this didn't happen.
00:10:52.380We've got to come to grips with what is really going on, and we've got to also make sure that we do our best to continue to do what matters most, to talk about what matters most, to fight for what matters most, and in some ways still try to carry out lots of the things that make us who we are, the traditions, the things that are some of the most important.
00:11:22.380I think maybe getting together yesterday with family.
00:11:29.380Maybe getting together and having conversations is what we needed more than anything.
00:11:34.380I don't know how they went for you, but for our family, they went well.
00:11:40.380There was no incident where people were yelling at each other and calling each other names or whatnot at our table now.
00:11:46.380I don't know what that was like for you.
00:11:51.380But in an America where things are seemingly more divided, I say seemingly because it feels that way, you get around the dinner table and you get in person and it's a little different, isn't it?
00:12:09.380I mean, the things that happen on social media and, you know, I'm not some massive presence online, but I've got a decent footprint in what I see coming in on a daily basis.
00:12:21.380It doesn't even shock me anymore, but I see lots of divisive rhetoric and comments and things from people that, yeah, I think being behind the keyboard and not in person gives them the courage of a keyboard cowboy that most don't have when they do come face to face.
00:12:40.380But I also think we're being influenced.
00:12:43.380I think there's a lot of foreign actors that want nothing more than to sow the division and tear this country apart.
00:12:50.380And boy, when you break it all down, it goes even to a much deeper level.
00:12:56.380Well, that's what we're going to try and do today is is dig into the root of all of it.
00:13:02.380We will have more on this story out of Washington, D.C.
00:13:05.880And of course, as the family of Sarah Beckstrom deserves our prayers at a moment like this for the peace and comfort that only the Lord can give them.
00:13:22.880We also pray for the family of the guardman that is continuing to recover.
00:15:45.580We are doing everything we can to assist his family and to make sure that they have everything they need during this difficult time for them.
00:16:08.480And the United States government will prove that.
00:16:10.660So, I don't know how much I want to get into this now, but at some point we're going to have to get into the background of this individual and exactly who he was, how he got here.
00:16:27.160And part of this is you got to make sure you shine a light on him in the situation.
00:16:33.860I don't like to shine a light on the name of the individual.
00:16:36.800I don't like to give people any more credit, but we've got to make sure that we surely point the finger of accountability here.
00:16:47.060This individual should have never been here.
00:16:49.520So, he was brought in from Afghanistan under the Biden regime, and this happened, in fact.
00:17:03.480President Trump made a really interesting point about this the other night, and he was doing that kind of press conference news moment.
00:17:11.980And he shows, in fact, shows, he loves to have, like, visual aids, but he shows a picture of one of these airplanes that was loaded up with folks, packed to the gills, giving a little bit of the details on this.
00:17:31.040In fact, in part of this moment, he took a reporter.
00:17:36.300I mean, he took this reporter to task.
00:17:38.580It was fantastic, that, but first, here's what he says about that individual.
00:17:44.140As you may know, DHS has confirmed that the suspect is an Afghan national, flown here by the previous administration, who was such a bad administration.
00:18:10.300And the toughest, meanest, most capable physically got on the plane, not the people that we were looking for or that they wanted to bring in.
00:18:43.780And this was a this was just a route, just a terrible situation.
00:18:48.680The Sainte's atrocity reminds us that we have no greater national security priority than ensuring that we have full control over the people that enter and remain in our country.
00:19:01.080For the most part, we don't want them.
00:21:49.260Holiday time is high crime season, but not all crime should be addressed the same way.
00:21:55.080According to a 2022 FBI stat, firearms are necessary less than one percent of the time.
00:22:00.900Burna covers the other ninety nine percent of altercations with the firepower that is necessary to incapacitate an attacker for up to 40 minutes.
00:22:08.980So next time you think you need lethal force, think of Burna.
00:22:15.980I recommend every family concerned about safety should have a Burna launcher.
00:22:20.080The new Burna Compact is the world's smallest, less lethal pistol, concealable anywhere.
00:22:25.100It fires powerful kinetic and tear gas rounds that can stop an attacker cold for up to 40 minutes.
00:22:29.660With 60 feet of range, you can confidently and effectively de-escalate a situation without the use of lethal force.
00:22:36.680No background checks, legal in all 50 states, ship straight to your door, and Burna is approved by the pros, trusted by hundreds of law enforcement agencies.
00:22:43.920Visit Burna, B-Y-R-N-A dot com and find the right launcher for your family.
00:23:23.720I mean, we're seeing things in this nation, even though we thought, you know, at the end of the day, the election of President Trump might save us all.
00:23:33.900Some of us had a little bit more skepticism about that.
00:23:37.420At the end of the day, you've got to know exactly what we're up against.
00:23:40.000And by the way, all the things they've been doing, not just in the last four years, but I'm talking about for decades, didn't stop.
00:23:48.460They didn't come to a screeching halt the minute he got elected.
00:23:51.120We continue to have to fight against those things.
00:23:53.960And how you do that, really, the only way is to know exactly what you're up against.
00:23:58.660As we watch the things that have really transpired over the last week or two, particularly with the seditious six Congress members coming out, telling folks in the military intelligence community, you don't have to you don't have to obey those orders.
00:24:53.440In fact, we heard Gallego from Arizona, the senator, the other day on CNN, admit that he didn't get to cut his portion because he, I don't think he got the script in time is what he said.
00:25:13.100Justin Barkley in for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck program.
00:25:16.380Our next guest is going to walk us through that, exactly what we're up against and why we've got to face it.
00:25:23.140Folks, if you want to, if you want to really want to save this country, if you want to make it so that your grandkids and your kids and their grandkids have a chance to grow up in a place that you remember, and maybe even better.
00:25:40.100Boy, you gotta, you gotta make sure that you take the steps to recognize what's going on, get educated on it, and then form that plan together as we fight back.
00:26:00.920His bombshell expose is out right now on the destructive cloward and pivot strategy Glenn's been talking about for years.
00:26:07.600He explains all about how the Biden-Harris administration employed it before our very eyes and what we're watching really play out in front of us today.
00:26:16.580This is The Chickens Coming Home to Roost.
00:26:18.660Manufactured Crisis is the name of the book, The War to End America.
00:26:21.620James, appreciate you being here with us today.
00:26:57.940It's been coming at us for a long time, a head-on collision.
00:27:01.580And to be able to put the brakes on something like this, we really have to understand it.
00:27:05.340So can you walk us through specifically what we're facing, what we're up against, and particularly with the last week's events?
00:27:13.140Yeah, well, you know, it's been called a color revolution, similar to what happened in the post-Soviet Russian states like Ukraine and Kyrgyzstan and others.
00:27:30.140But it's really not a color revolution.
00:27:32.440You know, color revolutions were nonviolent, and I think I'm skeptical that they actually were genuine changes.
00:27:43.840They were apparent changes, but without any real change because those governments remain as corrupt as they were before and probably underground there just as communist as they were before.
00:28:05.180But what we're facing really here today is much more like the Bolshevik resolution in 1917 when the Bolsheviks, a very tiny party, you know, Bolshevik was defined as the majority,
00:28:23.860and the Bolsheviks, who were the socialists, who were less radical, were declared the minority, and that was by Vladimir Lenin when in an early 1900s meeting all the Bolsheviks who were disgusted with what Lenin was talking about they wanted to do,
00:28:45.660when the Bolsheviks walked out, he declared, we are the majority, and they weren't the majority at all.
00:28:58.220It's not a nonviolent revolution in any sense of the word.
00:29:02.600And it has been, you know, they've been working away at it, whittling away at it for about 100 years.
00:29:10.460And, you know, it started with the, well, it actually started before the Frankfurt School,
00:29:18.560but it really gained a lot of momentum when all of these scholars from the Institute for Social Research in Frankfurt, Germany,
00:29:29.820were transferred to the United States in 1933 after Hitler came to power,
00:29:37.740because most of the college professors of this so-called Institute for Social Research were all communists,
00:29:47.620and many of them were actually Soviet agents who were working undercover with that, you know, pretext as a reason for them to be there.
00:29:58.160And they were, many of them were Jewish, so they had two strikes against them,
00:30:04.800and they were resettled into the United States in 1933 at Columbia Teachers College,
00:30:11.060where they proceeded to instruct the majority of future teachers, college professors,
00:30:18.960and administrators throughout the United States with their poisonous ideology,
00:30:25.720which we've come to know as cultural Marxism, but they called it critical theory.
00:30:32.900And critical theory criticizes everything about Western society, top to bottom.
00:30:39.260And then the subsequent critical theories like critical race theory and critical legal theory
00:30:44.760and critical women's studies, there's dozens of them just split it into smaller pieces so that subsequent segments of society could be divided
00:42:53.140What's happening in Nigeria, by the way, it's been going on for a long time now.
00:42:57.140You're just only hearing about it recently.
00:43:00.140Over the last several decades, a man we know of spent some time there in a mission.
00:43:06.140And he'll give us details about what's happening in Nigeria behind the scenes, not just with the Christians, but the genocide itself and why it matters, why you're hearing about it most recently.
00:43:19.140It's all coming up in just moments today.
00:43:22.140Again, Justin and for Glenn on the Glenn Beck program.
00:43:39.140Not all crime should be addressed the same way.
00:43:41.140According to a 2022 FBI stat, firearms are necessary less than one percent of the time.
00:43:47.140Burna covers the other ninety nine percent of altercations with the firepower that is necessary to incapacitate an attacker for up to 40 minutes.
00:43:55.140So next time you think you need lethal force, think of Burna.
00:44:36.140You've seen a lot of this in the news lately.
00:44:45.140And in fact, it's it's important that it gets covered because there's so much happening.
00:44:52.140It's hard to really keep an eye on it all.
00:44:55.140And the question is, if it's happening there, how soon before it happens here?
00:44:58.140And folks, I guess that's probably one of the reasons why most people say they really ought to pay attention to this.
00:45:06.140In Nigeria, the stories that we've been seeing are just incredible lately.
00:45:13.140Unless it's happening in our own backyard.
00:45:15.140And even then, sometimes it takes some some folks really a lot of time before they really start to know what's going on and understand that it is important.
00:45:26.140Brad Brandon is a founder and CEO of across Nigeria, wanted to get a glimpse into what really is happening on the ground there for two decades.
00:45:38.140He spent 10 years as a drive time talk host with talk radio connections.
00:45:44.140Since then, in 2018, devoted himself to full time foreign missions in high risk.
00:45:50.140So he'll be able to give us all the details about what's happening there in the heavily persecuted regions there in Nigeria and West Africa.
00:46:43.140Well, the background is, is that there is a genocide that's been going on for over 10 years.
00:46:49.140We've been working there for about 10 years and I've seen it grow every single year.
00:46:55.140And we've been crying from the mountaintops that this has been going on for all of that time.
00:47:01.140And it's only been recently that the media here in the West has started to shine light on what's happening.
00:47:08.140But really what's going on is it's a targeted genocide against Christians.
00:47:14.140Most of northern Nigeria is where all of this is happening.
00:47:18.140It is northern Nigeria is mostly Muslim, probably about 90, 90 percent Muslim.
00:47:24.140And 12 of the northern Nigeria states are controlled by Sharia law, which is one reason why we here in the United States should care about that.
00:47:33.140But you're looking at probably over 50,000 Christians have been killed since 2009.
00:47:39.140Last year of all the Christians that were killed in the entire world that were martyred for their faith, 90 percent of them were killed in northern Nigeria.
00:47:52.140It's a huge problem that Christians here in the United States should wake up to.
00:47:57.140What what what do you think is going to take that?
00:48:00.140And the reason I ask is because, you know, we were just talking about our previous guest here the past week or so on the horrific attack on the two national government.
00:48:10.140And and and and what's going on, why this is so important, the roots of it.
00:48:16.140And then how do we how do we really you know, how do we fight back?
00:48:20.140And I think a lot of these things and by the way, I think you're going to get this, too.
00:48:23.140But like a lot of the stuff we're looking for answers and solutions in the natural here, unfortunately, that are probably spiritually based more than anything else.
00:48:38.140I mean, how do we make people when there's so much happening right now?
00:48:43.140Not to dump all this on you, Brad, but, you know, people are saying, I guess it's hard for me to put food on the table right now with with with my family.
00:48:50.140I'm worried about, you know, the economy or whatever it might be.
00:48:53.140And I think we're so inundated that these very important topics we sometimes we miss.
00:48:57.140I think one of the things is us here in the United States.
00:49:01.140And I'm currently in the U.S. headed back to Nigeria in about two weeks.
00:49:05.140But here in the United States, we have the greatest country in the entire world.
00:49:11.140We have an abundance of everything here in the United States.
00:49:15.140Even the poor of us here in the U.S. live like kings compared to the rest of the world.
00:49:21.140Northern Nigeria is an area where people live on less than a dollar a day.
00:49:25.140And because of inflation, food is actually more expensive there than it is here.
00:49:30.140Now, one of the things that scripture teaches me as a pastor and a spiritual leader is to those that are given much, much will be required.
00:49:40.140So those of us here in the United States who've been given all of the freedoms, all of the abundance that we have, all of the conveniences that we have, each of us have access to our own little audience on social media.
00:49:52.140We need to use that to be a voice for people who have no voice and take a stand for people who can't stand for themselves, particularly our brothers and sisters in Christ.
00:50:04.140And those are in northern Nigeria who are suffering under this persecution.
00:50:09.140We have to wake up and realize that what's happening in northern Nigeria is just it's almost like a foreshadow of the things that we see happening here.
00:50:19.140I was just telling somebody the other day, Justin, that every time that I come back to the U.S. from Nigeria, the United States is looking more and more like Nigeria every time I come back.
00:50:31.140And it all has to really do with radical Islam and corruption and Sharia law, all of these things.
00:50:38.140Northern Nigeria is a foreshadow of things that are happening here in the U.S.
00:50:44.140Wherever radical Islam is given a foothold, this is what happens.
00:50:49.140And we're allowing that to enter the United States.
00:50:53.140We're allowing radical Islam to have a stronghold here in the United States.
00:50:58.140So for those two reasons, one, we've been given so much here in the U.S.
00:51:02.140And we have a vested interest in this because we see it filtering into our country.
00:51:08.140The church in the United States needs to wake up and start doing something about it.
00:51:13.140Yeah, I think that's a very good point.
00:51:17.140You mentioned this and I know there's it's not just Christian persecution there.
00:51:22.140This this is happening to lots of folks in Nigeria.
00:51:26.140But walk us through what you know what what you think that looks like.
00:51:31.140Sharia law, by the way, that's another big, big buzzword we've been hearing here in America, especially what's happening in Texas and places like Michigan, where I'm at as well.
00:51:39.140These are these are these are things that are starting to key at the top of folks consciousness right now.
00:51:46.140Yeah, absolutely. Sharia law, like I said, controls 12 of the northern Nigeria state.
00:51:52.140This is a place where if you are a Muslim and you convert to Christianity because you want to leave that brutal system.
00:52:00.140That is a blasphemy law that is punishable by death under Sharia law.
00:52:06.140Women are worth half that of a man under Sharia law.
00:52:13.140These are all things that are happening openly accepted in the system of Sharia law.
00:52:18.140We even see it filtering here in the United States.
00:52:21.140Back in 2009, there was a superior court judge who consulted an I mom to make a decision on a woman who was accusing her husband of abuse.
00:52:32.140And because her testimony was worth half that of her husband, the I mom under Sharia law told the judge to believe the man over the woman, the man's testimony over the woman.
00:52:44.140That superior court judge in New Jersey, of all places, decided to rule against the wife and not give the wife the protection that she needed.
00:52:55.140That is Sharia law creeping into our own legal system.
00:52:59.140It's happening under the Arbitration Act in the UK, the under the Arbitration Act in the UK.
00:53:05.140They are calling for Sharia law to be used as precedent in their legal court decisions.
00:53:12.140So it's filtering into the West. It's filtering here into the United States.
00:53:17.140And it is a dangerous system that robs the population of, I'll just say it, human rights.
00:53:25.140It is it is an offense to human rights. Sharia law is.
00:53:29.140And if you want to see that on full display, just look in northern Nigeria.
00:53:34.140Like you said, it's not just Christians that are being targeted, although it's, I would say, inordinately targeted at Christians.
00:53:43.140But Boko Haram and Aiswa that control a lot of the areas that I work in, they will target anybody who doesn't hold their radical beliefs.
00:53:52.140They'll kill Muslims. They'll kill people of any religion that do not hold their radical beliefs.
00:53:57.140So it is not just an assault on Christians. It's an assault on everybody.
00:54:02.140Although I will emphasize and say that the persecution and the genocide that's happening in northern Nigeria, it is absolutely targeted toward Christians.
00:54:14.140Pastor Brad Brandon, AcrossNigeria.org is the organization and the updates.
00:54:20.140Now, you've seen and we have that President Trump in I don't have ever seen such a strong statement coming from the United States, but particularly shining a light on this.
00:54:32.140It's just the beginning. But what what needs to happen?
00:54:37.140Obviously, there are groups like you that are going in doing work on the ground.
00:54:40.140But what needs to happen from the support of the United States as a whole and maybe even for folks that are listening?
00:54:48.140Well, President Trump was calling for military action.
00:54:51.140In fact, he said, we'll go in guns blazing.
00:54:53.140When asked what he meant about that, he said airstrikes and possibly boots on the ground.
00:55:00.140We've had presidents the past two presidents who have been asleep on this issue.
00:55:05.140In fact, President Biden, one of the first things he did when he took office was he took Nigeria off the country of particular concern list while thousands of Christians were being slaughtered.
00:55:15.140So I welcome any attention that a president is going to give to this issue.
00:55:20.140And I think it's a complex issue that's happening in northern Nigeria.
00:55:24.140You have groups like ISWA, which is the Islamic State of West Africa, and then you have Boko Haram.
00:55:30.140Those are terrorist groups that have a radical Muslim ideology, and they will kill anybody who doesn't hold that radical belief.
00:55:39.140So when we're talking about military action or even leveraging the Nigerian government to get involved with it, they've been asleep on this issue for a long time.
00:55:48.140I think military action is what's needed when it comes to groups like ISWA and Boko Haram.
00:55:54.140There's also an issue of the Fulani Muslims.
00:55:57.140The Fulani Muslims are an ethnic group in northern Nigeria.
00:56:01.140Now, there are some Fulani Muslims that are radicalized.
00:56:05.140There are some who are militant in their approach, no doubt about that.
00:56:10.140But most Fulani Muslims, and that's who I predominantly work with, we have Fulani Muslim schools that we operate throughout northern Nigeria.
00:56:19.140These are peaceful people who just want to provide for their families, and they don't like Boko Haram.
00:56:25.140They don't like what these radicals are doing.
00:56:28.140And what happens in northern Nigeria, like so many other places when you're talking about Gaza and in other places around the world, these radicals are experts at embedding themselves in communities of innocent people.
00:56:42.140And if you go in with airstrikes and boots on the ground, you're going to have massive collateral damage.
00:56:48.140And not only that, but you're going to drive some of those youth in those innocent communities further, and you're going to entrench them into the radical ideology of Boko Haram and ISWA.
00:57:00.140So I think that it's not just one approach. It's not just all guns blazing. It's not just all airstrikes. There needs to be a combination of that.
00:57:10.140But there also needs to be a combination of settling some of these socioeconomic issues that are driving a lot of this violence.
00:57:18.140The Fulani Muslims in northern Nigeria a lot of times will attack Christian villages just simply because they're running out of grazing ground for their cattle.
00:57:28.140Fulani Muslims are cow herders and Christians in northern Nigeria are predominantly farmers.
00:57:34.140Well, when a cow wanders onto those farm fields and eats a farmer's crop, you get the conflict that happens a lot of times in northern Nigeria.
00:57:43.140So it's very complex. But I do applaud the president for what he said and what he's doing and taking a stand for those Christians in northern Nigeria because so many other presidents have not.
00:57:54.140The conversation continues after this. Brad Brandon across Nigeria talking about what's happening, the genocide there and the president's response to it, but also what you can do.
00:58:06.140And the surprising part here is it won't cost you anything. It might even be the most important coming up next to fill you in after that right on the Glenn Beck program.
00:58:18.140There's always somebody on my list that is impossible to shop for. Tanya is a given. What do you get for your wife that really is perfect and special in every way? Something that you know she'll just love. I have no idea.
00:58:30.140She is impossible for me to buy for unless I shop at Cozy Earth. The bamboo pajama set. She wears them every night. She loves them. They're made from soft stretch knit bamboo that drapes and sleeps degrees cooler than cotton.

00:59:11.020That's promo code back 40 percent off. Wrap the ones you love in luxury with Cozy Earth dot com with the promo code back.
00:59:27.900Brad Brandon with us across Nigeria dot Oregon recently a piece in town hall town hall dot com where you can go look that up and check out what he's had to say about some of these latest issues and really dig into the conversation, the topic.
00:59:43.340Now, Brad, you and I have talked about what people can do. And obviously, you know, your organization accepts donations and things like that.
00:59:49.620We don't want to we don't want to slight that at all because it's a big part of what you're doing.
00:59:54.240But there's something even more important. You've mentioned with me when we talked about this before and it won't even cost you anything.
01:00:03.660Yeah. Yeah. That's what the church needs to be doing right now.
01:00:06.700Well, and as a as a pastor, I look to scripture to guide me.
01:00:10.860And in Hebrews 13, it talks about how Paul calls the church when people are suffering for the name of Jesus Christ.
01:00:20.240He says that we should bind ourselves as bound with them.
01:00:25.320And what he means by that is binding ourselves so closely to those who are suffering for the cause of Christ that it's as though it's happening to us.
01:00:34.320So instead of looking at this as something like, oh, that's too bad that that's happening to those Christians over there, the church here in the United States needs to wake up and say, this is happening to our brothers and sisters in Christ.
01:00:47.040If they're in pain, I'm in pain. If they're going through this, I'm going through this.
01:00:51.080And that leads to the point that you just made is the church here in the U.S. needs to be on our knees in a concerted effort to be praying and lifting up these Christians in northern Nigeria.
01:01:04.600And not just pray for them, like in a polite way, like we often say in church, I'll pray for you.
01:01:09.680But I mean, a systematic effort here in the United States by the church to pray for these Christians who are suffering, getting on our knees as faith communities, as churches, as Bible studies, as prayer groups, and lifting up these people because they are suffering right now.
01:01:28.280And most of the schools in northern Nigeria have been shut down, so children can't even leave their home to go to school.
01:01:34.380Our schools in northern Nigeria have been shut down because of the recent kidnappings that have happened just in the last week and a half.
01:01:41.400So this is a time when we need to be fighting this battle through the most powerful weapon that we have.
01:01:47.160And that weapon is praying for those Christians who are suffering genocide in northern Nigeria.
01:01:52.860I know you've got a big event coming up at the Museum of the Bible.
01:01:56.040If people want to keep in touch with you, find out.
01:01:58.980Maybe, in fact, you're going to be in the area.
01:02:00.460I'd love to go check out, Brad, or dig into Across Nigeria.
01:02:03.360Best way to do that, AcrossNigeria.org, Brad?
01:03:04.760They're the only company that lets you shop custom blinds and shades online and then backs it up with professional in-home measure and installation services.
01:03:12.940Tanya and I have used Blinds.com, and we get the same quality and service that we would at a high-end store, but at a fraction of the price.
01:03:20.400Compare colors, textures, materials right from the comfort of your own home, and all Blinds.com orders are backed by their 100% satisfaction guarantee.
01:03:29.660If you're not happy, they're going to make it right.
01:06:36.380And Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the Democrat radical from Florida, found the way somehow on CNN to blame Trump for the latest, this horrific attack from the terrorist in D.C. on the National Guard.
01:06:51.380We need to make sure that we have tight and appropriate and proper vetting.
01:06:55.380If there were gaps that admitted this person, they would have failed over multiple levels of gaps.
01:07:02.240And this individual was trusted enough to participate in assisting our military during the war in Afghanistan.
01:07:09.100So, I just think, you know, the president looks everywhere except inward to blame his own policies.
01:07:17.560We need to make sure that we don't have our military deployed in our cities.
01:07:22.320We're handling law enforcement responsibilities.
01:07:25.880And we need to make sure that we address gun violence.
01:07:29.500We certainly need to make sure we always have the proper and appropriate and tight vetting processes.
01:17:18.780The White House spokes at the time about those folks coming in from Afghanistan.
01:17:25.020We've talked about this a little bit on this as well.
01:17:27.300But there are, of course, concerns among lawmakers, experts who have tracked this.
01:17:31.540They're saying previous arrivals of large numbers of refugees from different parts of the world.
01:17:37.480And that really there may be a handful, small handful, who are eventually deemed a security risk of some kind.
01:17:43.700What reassurances can you make about the screening process and the attempts to make sure that somebody like that doesn't make his or her way here?
01:17:52.560I can absolutely assure you that no one is coming into the United States of America who has not been through a thorough screening and background check process.
01:18:11.580And here we have, as Puro points out, you know, we've got one dead guardsman and another in very serious critical condition as we continue to pray.
01:18:25.840And that's in New York and all of this insanity of Mamdami is we were just talking about socialism and how it's failed everywhere.
01:18:33.360And so many people, you know, just young people don't get it because they never heard this.
01:18:38.680We talked about this in the first hour.
01:18:41.480And if you get a chance to go back on the podcast and listen today at glenbeck.com, you'll be able to hear this.
01:18:47.500But a guest in Arthur Jim Simpson talked about that in his book.
01:18:52.260And, of course, in that Cloward and Piven strategy and this Marxist takeover, what they've been trying to do for decades now, is collapse the system.
01:19:13.400And we were just talking about this earlier.
01:19:15.460But, you know, the bread and the circuses keep people distracted.
01:19:19.040But even more so, it's even more effective than bread and circuses is the other side is when kids are so saddled with debt.
01:19:27.520They were made to go to school, get indoctrinated with this just garbage being pumped into their veins 24-7.
01:19:38.120They come out brainwashed and with a mountain of debt that they'll never pay off.
01:19:44.360Oh, and by the way, when you get out, you'll never be able to get a job in critical underwater basket weaving or whatever it is that you've taken.
01:19:52.900You'll never be able to get a job with any of those degrees.
01:19:56.220They're not written the paper they're printed on.
01:19:59.440On top of that, cost everything has gone through the roof.
01:20:03.320And by the way, this is going to be a big point for the midterms.
01:20:08.760One of the things that Republicans folks underwrite Trump, the administration, they need to do is, again, point out this is the Biden administration issue they created.
01:28:57.960Like literally just start to end how to have a very simple conversation with God.
01:29:03.020And it's important, you know, I didn't believe in any of this stuff.
01:29:05.520Like even 15 years ago when I sort of stumbled into this, into this process, but fundamentally the most important thing that you can do, I think, is connect with the God who created you, handcrafted you in his image.
01:29:18.680That's an amazing three words in his image and just be able to just understand what he thinks about you, what he thinks about the world.
01:29:26.080And it really clears through quite a bit.
01:29:27.860And like I said, I have no patience for fluffy, fluffy, wooey, wooey, come by a sort of sit around the campfire.
01:29:36.900I'm interested in things that actually work.
01:29:40.260So let me ask you, I mean, obviously this process is pretty simple and you walk people through it in the book.
01:29:49.280But if you wanted to give somebody maybe a thumbnail sketch or a place to start, for me anyway, like I'll just say that I know that the biggest piece for me is first of all, just,
01:30:02.060and it doesn't have to be a long thing or just, but just turning off the noise.
01:30:06.760And I know that, you know, look, we're on the radio.
01:31:46.900And I will tell you that most Americans, probably most people in the world today, because of our connectivity, move quickly through that zone.
01:31:53.420They're either in some sort of high state of information processing or they're asleep.
01:31:57.360And that's really where people operate.
01:31:59.600But, yeah, if you can find yourself into this really still small space, you're able to hear a lot better his still small voice.
01:32:13.880I don't know many people who can go even for five or ten minutes with nothing.
01:32:18.820Like I'm talking about turn the radio off after the show, turn off your TV, turn off the noise, turn off the conversation.
01:32:25.160Find yourself into a place where you can just be quiet and just breathe for a little bit.
01:32:28.820You actually find yourself into this new zone.
01:32:31.460And I will just tell you, having taught tens of thousands at this point, Justin, there's probably well over 100,000 people how to tune into God's voice just to hear him talk to you.
01:32:40.280That when you can control your mind and find yourself into this still small spot to hear a still small voice, it actually accentuates your ability to do that.
01:32:50.500The people that I know that really have difficulty, and like I said, I've trained a lot of people, occasionally I have someone who's like, oh, man, I'm like really struggling with this or I'm having a hard time.
01:32:57.800It's because they're not able to slow themselves down.
01:32:59.860And it's really important, especially in a time like this, dude, we're talking on the middle of the biggest shopping day of the year.
01:33:05.780But we're also talking in the middle of what traditionally for people is a four-day holiday.
01:33:10.000And I find, I don't know about you, but I find like after a holiday or vacation, I need like a vacation or a holiday.
01:36:02.580Physicists propose radical new theory of consciousness, and it could finally explain what happens when you die.
01:36:10.460Now, this is science trying to explain what we've known spiritually for a long time, but it's interesting because it says that we're all sort of connected in some way.
01:36:19.820It's got this theory of talking about where some of these things come from when you have maybe a near-death experience or maybe even when you're able to get answers in some ways when you're quiet, right, that I think is spiritually or religious.
01:36:36.800We would just use different ways to explain that.
01:36:47.740So I love science, by the way, and I love sort of talking about the brain especially and just like how God really, truly, fearfully and wonderfully we were made knit together in our mother's womb.
01:36:58.240And I love the fact that like a lot of times people of faith traditions get a little weird about when it comes to science.
01:37:05.680Every scientific discovery for the last, you know, 2,000 years has done nothing but show and prove everything that we're teaching is totally right.
01:37:15.020We're talking about the topic of hearing from God, right?
01:37:18.120So when I teach people how to have a conversation with God, I usually actually start with the thing that I just talked about, which is just how to slow yourself down, how to connect yourself back to his voice.
01:37:28.040But the second thing I teach right after that is asking the right questions.
01:37:32.300Now, you may wonder like, hey, wait a second.
01:37:38.880The questions actually are important, not because of God, but actually because of your neurology.
01:37:43.840I could go through literally the way your brain was created.
01:37:46.840But there's two parts of your brain that are significant when it comes to receiving input.
01:37:53.760The first one is called your neocortex.
01:37:55.760This is this layer that goes over the top of your brain that turns into this massive 150,000 vertical supercomputers kind of all stacked on one another.
01:38:05.740And then you've got this other area in your thalamus that essentially operates as a filter.
01:38:10.600Like if you walk through the airport, I'm heading out on the road again this week to do a little speaking and like go to a couple events.
01:38:17.700I'm going to walk through the airport here in San Diego and I'll probably walk by eight or nine or ten gates.
01:38:22.080During that time, if I see someone that I recognize, I'll be like, oh, what's up, Justin?
01:38:42.820And then finally it catches someone you know.
01:38:44.840It would be maddening, by the way, if all of that information made it past your brain filter system like you would never even be able to get to sleep.
01:38:52.200And so your brain has this amazing ability to filter things out.
01:38:57.000And if you're the kind of person who hasn't been having a daily sort of as you go conversation with God, it's really likely that all of his communication to you is being filtered out literally neurologically.
01:39:10.700I'm talking about a spiritual concept using physical real principles.
01:39:14.140And so when I teach people to ask good questions, I'm asking them to do that so that they'll create filters in their brain to receive what signals literally what verbal, what visual, what olfactory symbols, whatever it is that God's sending, that they create filters in their brain to actually receive that.
01:39:33.080And so like literally one of the very first questions I'll teach people, you've been through this exercise, is like one of the first questions I'll have them ask is, hey, God, what lies do I believe about me?
01:39:42.340And then I'll have them follow it up with what's true about me.
01:39:45.940Of course, I break the whole process down in the book, but the brilliant genius, and I'm not giving myself credit, just, you know, I wrote this three years before I discovered it scientifically.
01:39:56.140Like literally, I found this out afterwards.
01:39:58.420But the genius behind the way the questions are presented in the book is it creates a filter system in your brain where you can catch what God's saying to you.
01:40:08.200And I kid you not, dude, I've had 84-year-old, like, crusty Southern Baptists who are like, look, God doesn't speak.
01:40:18.960I've been going to church who, after 20 minutes of a little session, are weeping, like literally crying, going, well, man, if God can teach this 84-year-old Southern Baptist to hear from him, he can teach anyone, you know?
01:40:29.520And like I said, it's sometimes just a matter of the filters, but kind of back to your point, every time I see some new scientific discovery, I realize it validates the claims that we're making, which is you were created by a loving God, you were created in his image, and he really wants to have a conversation with you.
01:40:46.660Like, he designed you for that kind of interface, and I say, like, now's the time to get it started.
01:40:51.740You know, one of the things, Ed Rush with us right now, he's the author of God Talks, but one of the things that Glenn has said before, and in the days ahead with AI and everything else, where we're headed, is there's going to be a time he's, I've heard him say this, is you will depend on the Holy Spirit.
01:41:09.340You'll have to hear from the Spirit to tell you at some point, either stop, don't go that way, turn back around.
01:41:14.620That's how close and how connected that we'll need to be, and we'll depend on it for survival at times.
01:41:20.820How do people take this and apply it into instances like that?
01:41:25.800Dude, it's just a brilliant point, by the way, and I completely agree with you, and of course, agree with what Glenn said about that.
01:41:32.080We live in a world where, first of all, it's difficult to find out if something's true or false, but even if it's true, the next question is, is it important?
01:41:40.220Like, you could spend an entire day just filtering through news stories, like one after the other after the other, and let's say theoretically, I mean, I don't even know what the percentage is, depending on the outlet, probably, but let's say, I don't know, half of what you read is true.
01:41:55.220You know, like, I've been reading a lot of articles this week about this comet, like 3I Atlas, right?
01:42:02.180This comet that could be a spaceship, that could be alien technology.
01:42:07.400I mean, like, you know, I'm listening to Neil deGrasse Tyson and Brian Cox, and I'm like, look, like, a lot of what I'm seeing is probably true, the way that it came in, where it came from, like, I don't know.
01:42:18.280But the next question is, like, is it important, you know?
01:42:20.780And I think that's, like, an even more important question, because you could give your heart and mind and soul to things that are true.
01:42:29.280You know, you could spend, I had a guy come up to me, I love him, don't get me wrong or anything, and he literally, this guy, I mean, he spent, like, at an event that I was speaking at, he spent, like, five, seven minutes trying to talk to me about his flat earth theory.
01:42:43.360Okay, look, if that's you, I love you, I think you're amazing.
01:42:46.440I just told him, I said, look, why don't you give your life to something that has, like, a real meaning to it?
01:42:52.120Like, if you're right about this flat earth situation, then, like, at the end of the days, you know, maybe you get a high five walking into heaven.
01:42:59.400I don't know, you figure it out, like, yeah, you're right.
01:43:01.260Why don't you give your life to something that actually has real meaning?
01:43:03.840And that's what I mean about important.
01:43:05.000Like, is it true, is it false, or is it important?
01:43:08.060And I think a conversation with God really dials you in on stuff like that.
01:43:12.340Like, I will just tell you, there is nothing, I'm a fighter pilot, right?
01:43:16.220There is nothing more important to me than accomplishing the mission, and when you are focused on what God created you to do, you're going to change the world.
01:43:24.420And it's going to be a lot of fun in the story.
01:43:45.220It's what Better Homes and Gardens called the most sentimental gift to make this holiday season special.
01:43:49.800During their Black Friday event, more families can reclaim their priceless footage with an insane 65% off.
01:43:56.480There has never been a better or more important time to preserve your past with Legacy Box.
01:44:01.080Starting at only $27, Legacy Box is simple and it's a safe way to digitize your treasured videotapes, your film reels, your photos, and they've helped over a million families do just that.
01:44:11.620Watching home movies every Christmas is a tradition made so easy with Legacy Box.
01:44:16.360It's all done by hand right here in the U.S.
01:44:18.040Your digital copies will always be protected from floods and mold, but you get all the originals back.
01:49:07.240And I thought, man, if that isn't the epitome of one's life quest, you know, like, if you knew where you came from, where you are, and where you're going, it would answer every other question for you.
01:49:22.180Like, every other question would just literally fill itself in the blanks.
01:49:26.880And fundamentally, what I'm trying to do with the world, and you know, Justin, you know, we know each other.
01:50:45.440Anytime something's really emotional, anytime something is like kind of a life or death kind of situation.
01:50:50.620But if you've been walking with him, if you've cultivated that sort of, you know, you've trained your brain to be able to have that conversation, it's going to be a lot easier when the chips are down to be able to really hear from him.
01:51:01.800And that's why I say, like, look, I'm a Marine.
01:51:38.260Training, practice, doing something over and over and over again.
01:51:41.000And so when I teach people how to have a simple conversation with the everlasting, ever-living God, it's as simple as just practicing it and doing it.
01:51:51.700And when you can do it with the small things, what you do is you learn to ask them questions about the big things, big career moves, big business swings, investor ideas, stuff like that.
01:52:00.040You can actually get really good answers, but you just got to practice.
01:52:03.980Godtalks.com is the website and the book.
01:54:01.840I got two girls that are, one's about to turn five, the other one just turned three.
01:54:06.920And they are very, they don't have all the filters we have, you know, of thinking about what is and what isn't and what's possible and what's not.
01:54:17.840And I guess it really is kind of a great example of that childlike faith.
01:54:22.400It's like I once told a three-year-old to stop acting like a child.
01:54:35.920And in that moment, I actually kind of told myself, maybe you should start acting like a child.
01:54:42.020You know, I mean, I'll take all the wisdom and all the understanding and knowledge and the years of experience that I've gotten in my adult.
01:54:48.220But sometimes, sometimes you just need to take the filter off, you know, and you need to experience your creator as you were intended to experience him as his daughter or as his son or as his friend.
01:55:01.160It will change your life when you understand that you have this creator that's actually really interested in having a simple conversation with you.
01:55:08.280It doesn't even need to be important stuff.
01:55:09.700It can be the most basic things like the parking spot that you're hoping to get in front of the mall today or, you know, or the deal that you want to get online.
01:59:47.780I guess that's really not lying if you technically think of it.
01:59:53.300It's still the Black Friday price, but it was the same price as the day before.
01:59:56.680And we've even heard of some of these big, like Amazon and whatnot, going through and jacking up prices at a certain point so that they can lower them so it looks like you're saving.
02:00:05.760I think some of this is what's caused some of us to sort of back down.
02:00:09.580I just saw a report on Fox saying that they're going to have more traffic at the real stores this year than they've had in years as well.
02:00:29.340I'd rather put my money behind something like some of the gear from the Glenn Beck store because that goes to something I support and a cause that I'm behind.
02:00:39.700I think people are thinking about things differently these days.
02:00:53.020I don't know if we're going to be able to get to this story in its entirety either, but Putin in the next couple of months, I'm going to try my best.
02:01:03.480Putin's got scientists that are working on making robo birds, pigeons, controlled by brain implants.
02:01:15.120But first, the AI slop recipes that have ruined Thanksgiving food bloggers are being faked online
02:01:21.260because they're using AI to basically clone like legit food bloggers and put them online on sites.
02:01:31.440And one, this German blogger, they've not just cloned her, but they've cloned and made fake recipes.
02:01:38.760It's made a bit of an impact on Thanksgiving dinner.
02:01:42.800AI-generated content, including images and recipes, recipes rather, that often inaccurately and can be hard to distinguish from real recipes with bloggers reporting sharp declines in visibility and traffic.
02:01:55.320And people go to make them and they don't, they don't turn out well.
02:01:59.980An unemployed son dressed as his dead mom to collect her pension in Mrs. Doubtfire scam while hiding her body at home.
02:02:16.760The Thanksgiving proclamation that came out yesterday.
02:02:19.340In 1789, President of the United States and his office writes, just years after America's triumph over tyranny and the Revolutionary War,
02:02:30.000President George Washington established the first national day of Thanksgiving, declaring the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God,
02:02:38.560to obey his will and to be grateful for his benefits and humbly to implore his protection and favor.
02:02:44.960And all those years later, President Trump did it again yesterday.
