The Glenn Beck Program - Courage is Contagious ｜ The Glenn Beck Program ｜ 11⧸24⧸23

00:00:00.060 Welcome into the Glenn Beck program, and yes, it is the day after Thanksgiving.

00:00:07.240 It is Black Friday. In fact, they've got a new nickname for this day that I wasn't even aware of,

00:00:12.040 and we'll fill you in on that. It has to do with something that everyone may be experiencing record numbers today.

00:00:20.560 It's Justin Barkley, live from Michigan, today of three full hours out of Detroit and West Michigan.

00:00:28.260 In Detroit, it's Detroit's News Talk Superstation, 9, 10 a.m., and in here in Michigan, West Michigan,

00:00:34.460 Grand Rapids, it's News Radio 1, 1300, 106.9 FM.

00:00:37.680 So we've got lots of ground to cover. Today, Riley Gaines joins us.

00:00:41.020 You know, they've got another record breaker.

00:00:45.440 Another one of these record breakers that is swimming in sports for men.

00:00:51.500 Just, I don't know, just days prior, switches over to the women's category.

00:00:58.260 And there he is. Or she is right now. Megan. Megan.

00:01:07.140 Breaking records. Riley Gaines out there trying to explain it all,

00:01:14.380 and she'll join us coming up on the program about a half an hour from now.

00:01:18.440 But also, we're going to hear from Julie Kelly, who, if you don't know who Julie is,

00:01:23.420 she's at the forefront of all of the reporting that's happening right now.

00:01:29.160 It is, it's been arduous, but she's been in courtrooms.

00:01:33.060 She's been watching the judges.

00:01:34.560 She's been reporting on all things January 6th,

00:01:37.320 and even some of the cases that President Trump is having to deal with right now.

00:01:41.560 She's going to join us with a little bit of an update later on in the program.

00:01:45.000 The latest, you know, we heard that these videos were going to be the latest batch coming.

00:01:52.600 Some of the new stuff coming out, and then some of the things that we've already seen.

00:01:56.140 But she's going to walk us through it all.

00:01:59.720 And what we can maybe expect coming in the days ahead is MAGA Mike Johnson.

00:02:05.120 At least I think that's what they're calling Democrats now mega, MAGA Mike Johnson.

00:02:11.120 He's released some of the latest tapes.

00:02:14.280 And the story that this stuff paints, the picture that it paints,

00:02:21.860 it really is fascinating because it's turning some heads.

00:02:26.260 And I think some of us are starting to get a better read on what's going on.

00:02:31.420 But first, let's start here.

00:02:32.920 The Rainbow Bridge.

00:02:33.760 Did you see this just a day before Thanksgiving?

00:02:38.720 And probably a day before Pat and Stu were wrapping things up.

00:02:43.320 That day, wrapping things up in this story.

00:02:45.740 Breaks just later on in the afternoon.

00:02:48.340 A car explodes.

00:02:51.860 The Rainbow Bridge.

00:02:52.920 This is a bridge that goes, I guess, over into from America into Canada at Niagara Falls.

00:02:58.600 It is it is an interesting area when one like very similar to where I am right now.

00:03:09.480 We have a Detroit Windsor crossing.

00:03:11.480 We have a bridge and there's a tunnel.

00:03:12.740 It goes under and over the Detroit River and then into Canada.

00:03:18.480 And I've been through and that crossing.

00:03:21.840 I've done the bridge and I've done the tunnel and they're building a new bridge right now.

00:03:24.820 But there's so much traffic that comes through.

00:03:28.580 Do you know that it is like when you're going into Canada specifically, it is like, I mean, they are going to inspect you with a fine tooth comb.

00:03:38.260 They are going to poke you.

00:03:39.560 They are going to prod you.

00:03:40.620 They're going to ask you about things that you may have posted online 10, 20 years ago.

00:03:45.060 I don't know.

00:03:45.680 I mean, they dig deep into your past.

00:03:47.820 So it's it's it's wild what happens to get over into Canada.

00:03:53.400 Coming in the United States, I don't know if it's as tight.

00:03:56.460 We know that we've got issues with our southern border.

00:03:58.880 We that's obvious.

00:04:00.040 We've got millions of people coming across every single day.

00:04:03.500 There's more and more coming pouring across every day.

00:04:06.920 Wide open.

00:04:07.760 We had a Biden administration out there lifting up razor wire, cutting it first. 0.94

00:04:12.260 Right.

00:04:12.460 And then they were told by court, you can't do that, that the governor in Texas is laid out.

00:04:17.320 If then you've got the Biden administration, we can't cut it.

00:04:20.220 OK, well, we'll just lift it up with a bulldozer. 0.99

00:04:23.240 Yeah, that's great.

00:04:24.100 So borders wide open.

00:04:26.180 And meanwhile, they've got a terrorist alert.

00:04:28.820 I don't know if you saw this, but.

00:04:31.760 Governor of New York, fully aware of it, CBS, I think, had the first full report on it, Catherine Harrods, who came out and said, yeah, you know,

00:04:42.460 they are looking at a terrorist report, at least threats, that something may take place here over the holiday weekend.

00:04:49.880 Pained a security alert suggesting an increasing terrorist threat to New York state.

00:04:55.200 The New York state intelligence bulletin points to Israeli operations against Moss and specifically that the increase in civilian casualties raises the likelihood that violent extremist threat actors will seek to conduct attacks against targets in the West.

00:05:09.300 With New York state being a focus.

00:05:11.460 So that was out there.

00:05:12.540 And as that was out there and very.

00:05:17.800 Rightly so people are rather concerned.

00:05:21.780 So when you have this explosion that takes place at the border, you can understand people are saying, well, that's what it looks like was a terrorist attack, a car filled with explosives.

00:05:32.920 But I'm here to tell you what actually took place was was much or at least what we're being told right now that took place much stranger.

00:05:41.780 Then than than what we were initially thinking with the terrorist attack, here's some of the reporting, a three hundred thousand dollar car, a wife and husband off to a kiss in concert, ended up at a casino instead and then in flames.

00:05:59.200 Well, investigators have been going backwards through the day of the day of the day of the day of the day of the person they believe to be the driver of that car.

00:06:05.120 And what they see is a 56 year old man from the area.

00:06:08.800 He lives in a very upscale island and that's not far away who had intended to go to the kiss concert, which was canceled.

00:06:18.100 then changed his plans to a casino where he spent some time and then leaves the casino

00:06:24.980 and then drives at a high rate of speed along this road in Niagara Falls,

00:06:31.020 hits the divider, goes airborne, as the governor said, and lands in an explosion.

00:06:36.600 Authorities believe he was in the car with his wife.

00:06:39.120 This was a Bentley two-door Excelsior X.

00:06:43.440 This is a car that goes for about $300,000 new.

00:06:48.760 So it does not, as Matt Miragula from the FBI indicated, the special agent in charge in Buffalo,

00:06:55.780 who runs the Joint Terrorism Task Force up there, does not have any of the earmarks of terrorism.

00:07:01.240 It looks much more, as they have been able to go backwards through it, like a terrible accident.

00:07:06.300 The question is how and why, and they're still looking at that.

00:07:10.180 Somebody on my morning show to Detroit today actually sent me a message.

00:07:16.820 What do all these black boxes these smart cars have now?

00:07:20.700 Can they dig in and get some information?

00:07:22.440 You know, they're always creeping on us, and they're trying to get that, you know, privacy issues and things like that.

00:07:28.340 Is there any way that they can dig into the black box and find out what happened?

00:07:32.380 Because the thing was going on a high rate speed.

00:07:33.840 I saw the, I guess one of the guys that witnessed this, a resident there, come out.

00:07:39.940 He was interviewed.

00:07:40.680 He said, no, no, nothing like they said actually happened.

00:07:43.420 This car, and here's another piece that I find kind of interesting, was actually circling around the area multiple times.

00:07:52.220 He said that looked a little suspicious to him.

00:07:54.200 Then he saw it rev up, high rate of speed.

00:07:56.260 It must have hit some sort of incline or some sort of concrete embankment or something, and that's when it goes airborne, finally impacts on another, looked like concrete or steel beam, something, inside that post before you get to the actual bridge.

00:08:15.800 And Border Patrol will oversee.

00:08:18.500 And that's where the explosion happened.

00:08:19.900 So I'm just telling you, the thing that came out, and I don't know, terrorism or what, I don't really know, we'll ever know the real truth about what actually happened here.

00:08:28.800 But terrorism, it looks like it probably wasn't.

00:08:32.020 What happened, I don't, I think it's hard to make sense of it.

00:08:36.740 I think maybe what did happen is far more strange than what we'll ever know.

00:08:42.380 Who knows, whether drugs or alcohol or something like that involved, I don't know.

00:08:46.460 But it is just part of the stories, and I know since we've probably had a chance to talk, that's the latest in the up now, happening right now as we speak.

00:08:59.320 Today, the first group of Hamas hostages is set to be released.

00:09:05.840 That's as we speak right now, the first group.

00:09:09.040 I haven't seen any actual reports that they have been yet released.

00:09:13.680 There's a group of these, maybe 50 or so, and then there's like an exchange of prisoners that are being held that are going to be released as well.

00:09:21.580 I think there's about 150, and this is during the four-day, the first of which, during the four-day ceasefire that seems like it's ticking so far.

00:09:29.140 Praying for those people.

00:09:30.180 One of the saddest stories out of all of them is the three-year-old girl who is an orphan now.

00:09:35.180 Her mother and father both killed in those attacks on October 7th.

00:09:38.240 And she, you know, I've got a daughter her age, she is yet to be released, and I can't imagine what she's going through.

00:09:49.580 I can't imagine what that's going to be like for her surviving family.

00:09:54.520 It is unthinkable.

00:09:58.020 We're praying for those people, and we'll continue to cover that story and more today.

00:10:02.120 But we are just getting started.

00:10:04.240 So it's Barkley and for Beck today.

00:10:05.920 You want to join us on the program at any kind, you can at 888.

00:10:10.640 Hold on.

00:10:12.300 I just forgot the number.

00:10:14.500 I'll give it to you in a second.

00:10:15.660 We'll come back.

00:10:16.220 I'll get that.

00:10:16.680 I promise.

00:10:17.160 I'm just kind of getting my foot in here, and we'll get things rolling.

00:10:20.360 Riley Gaines coming out.

00:10:21.600 We're also going to talk to Julie Kelly today.

00:10:23.940 Lots loaded up in for Beck.

00:10:25.240 Back after this.

00:10:31.080 What are you looking for when you walk down the meat aisle at the grocery store?

00:10:34.840 You're looking for some kind of real good meat that you can feed your family, right?

00:10:38.860 You want something raised in America, and you're looking for something close to expiring because that's the only way you can get a good price?

00:10:44.680 If you are in this situation, what you put on your table matters, and that's why you should get your meat from Good Ranchers, because you're going to cover all of those things.

00:11:41.140 Welcome back.

00:11:42.680 It's Barkley and for Beck today on the Glenn Beck program on an interesting, it's just going to be a Black Friday to remember.

00:11:49.700 You know, one of the things that I find most fascinating about where we are right now, particularly in the weird economic times that we're facing,

00:12:01.740 is that there is more of a strain, there's more of an economic strain, I think, than we've ever felt before.

00:12:12.080 And it is, you know, it's, it's from everything, but there's, there's, there's plenty of, it's a Biden campaign out there sending out talking points for Thanksgiving.

00:12:28.620 I don't know how your Thanksgiving went.

00:12:32.820 Was there any, did you talk any politics over the turkey?

00:12:35.980 Uh, I am, uh, I'm, I'm, I'm actually grateful that it didn't, nothing escalated, nothing got any, any weirder than it really normally does.

00:12:50.780 Uh, it's family.

00:12:51.860 So it's, there's always going to, it's going to be some weirdness to it, right?

00:12:54.920 You know, but no, nothing got too weird.

00:13:00.320 I will say that I thought it was fasting Biden administration, the campaign, they put out these talking points.

00:13:05.760 But here's how you deal with anything from them, the economy isn't as, as good as it was under Trump to, what about the polls?

00:13:14.760 And I overheard some interesting conversation.

00:13:17.780 I'm going to, I'm going to save that for later.

00:13:20.120 And along with the talking point, I'm going to just tell you something that I don't think anybody can deny.

00:13:23.500 Although they're trying, particularly the Biden campaign folks are trying.

00:13:29.200 It's not as bad.

00:13:30.300 It would be, it would be worse if it were Trump.

00:13:32.780 So just imagine that that's kind of where they're at.

00:13:35.240 But it's no denying things are really tough for a lot of people.

00:13:38.240 This is a woman who's gone viral. 0.82

00:13:41.440 Over a million views.

00:13:42.500 The first time I saw it over on TikTok, she'd gone viral talking about how bad things are.

00:13:47.040 The average American.

00:13:48.040 And she says, you know, they're just not making it.

00:13:49.760 I don't, I don't know why I'm making this video, but like, I feel like my husband and I are doing everything right.

00:14:05.400 But we both have good jobs.

00:14:08.060 I'm a nurse.

00:14:08.920 I'm a registered nurse.

00:14:10.920 I work full time.

00:14:12.720 He works full time.

00:14:15.620 We just got paid this past Friday, right?

00:14:19.120 We paid the mortgage.

00:14:21.440 Bought some groceries.

00:14:23.400 Put some gas in the car.

00:14:24.860 And guys, it is Tuesday.

00:14:31.860 And we have like $200 or $300 to last us until next Friday.

00:14:37.620 Like, we don't live in a big house.

00:14:40.660 We live in a little, it's, it's nice.

00:14:46.000 It's modest, but it's nice.

00:14:47.540 A little ranch.

00:14:48.960 It's 1100 square feet.

00:14:50.500 Three bedrooms.

00:14:51.420 One bath.

00:14:52.040 Us and our two kids.

00:14:54.720 And like, I don't, I don't know what to do.

00:15:02.020 Like, I'm in school full time.

00:15:05.000 I work full time.

00:15:07.400 He works more than full time.

00:15:09.220 He works overtime every week.

00:15:14.860 I don't know what to do.

00:15:16.980 It is.

00:15:17.560 The comment section of this was just, as you can imagine, everybody blaming her, judging

00:15:24.280 her, but also saying, you know, yeah, everything's bad.

00:15:26.840 And then some people say, wait a minute, you have 300 bucks left over.

00:15:31.160 You're rich.

00:15:33.160 Rich.

00:15:36.440 It is, it's, it's going to be interesting.

00:15:38.860 You're going to get Black Friday.

00:15:39.760 So here's what we have.

00:15:41.100 We have people feeling the pain because they barely have any money and they've dipped into

00:15:46.200 savings.

00:15:46.860 And I mean, 25% still have debt from last year's Christmas shopping, holiday shopping.

00:15:52.920 And then you have the companies who know the retail's not really going in a good direction.

00:16:00.880 No matter how much Biden administration tries to tell us.

00:16:03.700 Oh, no, no, no.

00:16:06.520 Things are great.

00:16:07.420 Things are great.

00:16:08.300 Don't worry about it.

00:16:09.440 It's great.

00:16:09.980 Keep going out there and spending.

00:16:11.700 Dip into your savings.

00:16:12.920 Rack up debt.

00:16:13.720 Get those credit cards as high as you can with all the interest rates on them right now.

00:16:17.480 Holy cow. 0.89

00:16:19.100 But this is what the average person, I think they're doing that just to, just to, just to

00:16:23.040 hit the normal groceries, the normal bills.

00:16:25.960 And that's what she means.

00:16:27.260 She goes through, she's an RN.

00:16:29.340 She goes through what her husband does, the whole thing.

00:16:31.720 I'm so stressed out.

00:16:36.860 This isn't how it's supposed to be.

00:16:39.920 You know, growing up, we were told, you know, go to college, get a degree, work to support

00:16:47.160 your family.

00:16:48.800 Here we are.

00:16:50.400 Did that.

00:16:51.240 Now what?

00:16:51.820 Got to feel that pain.

00:17:01.500 I'm not into politics.

00:17:03.220 I don't follow it.

00:17:05.300 Frankly, that stresses me out, too.

00:17:08.200 But like.

00:17:08.900 That might be the problem.

00:17:10.260 I'm not into politics.

00:17:11.680 I don't follow it.

00:17:12.660 That stresses me out, too.

00:17:13.640 I think that might be the problem.

00:17:14.700 Here's another problem.

00:17:18.640 I don't know.

00:17:19.640 Somebody.

00:17:20.080 Somebody has to do something to change this because.

00:17:25.960 Like, I make good money.

00:17:28.640 He makes good money.

00:17:31.200 We don't live above our means.

00:17:33.240 I don't know.

00:17:34.260 I'm not going to get into math of what they're doing, although it does seem like they're making

00:17:37.500 at or above six figures in the mean, depending on where they are.

00:17:40.800 They're in Pennsylvania somewhere.

00:17:41.980 But where they are and where.

00:17:42.980 Or that's.

00:17:44.340 Well, it used to be decent money, but maybe the math has changed.

00:17:47.600 And.

00:17:48.860 Maybe the reality of why it's changed is Biden inflation.

00:17:51.980 Inflation is theft.

00:17:52.980 It steals from every single one of us.

00:17:55.080 I saw a guy do the math.

00:17:55.960 He said it used to be seventy thousand dollars was all you needed.

00:17:58.860 The average.

00:17:59.700 Now you need to make one hundred twenty thousand.

00:18:01.440 So people are being robbed right and left.

00:18:05.400 What does that look like on a Black Friday?

00:18:07.080 Will tensions be high?

00:18:08.380 Violence and things like that as people are rushing into the stores to try and grab something.

00:18:14.880 They have some semblance of normality in this crazy world.

00:20:18.780 Welcome back to the Glenn Beck program.

00:20:23.960 Barkley in for Beck today.

00:20:25.120 It's 888-727-BECK, B-E-C-K. 1.00

00:20:29.160 888-727-BECK.

00:20:31.380 If you want to join the program at any time, love to have you.

00:20:33.780 And of course, this story is another one of these world records that's been smashed.

00:20:39.820 It's amazing.

00:20:42.520 It's amazing.

00:20:43.560 Swimming as a man just days prior and now swimming as a woman.

00:20:50.120 New Jersey Liberal Arts College, Megan Cortez Fields, a student there, smashes women's 100-yard butterfly record after competing in the men's team for three years.

00:21:04.160 So, I guess what this is, is if you're just not making it, if you're just not cutting it, you can have massive success if you just make the switch.

00:21:16.120 And that's about all you have to do, really.

00:21:18.760 I mean, you don't have to probably do much to qualify.

00:21:21.440 Riley Gaines has been very outspoken about this slam for UK and, of course, now is really the one out there ringing a bell about the fairness in these sports and particularly protecting young women.

00:21:36.060 Riley, we appreciate you joining us.

00:21:37.400 I've got two daughters of my own.

00:21:39.740 This is very important.

00:21:40.960 I watch this and I think, what in the world are they facing?

00:21:44.620 But you've stared it down the barrel and come out better, I think, on the other side.

00:21:49.200 What about this latest story, this just another in the saga?

00:21:55.020 I appreciate you being here with us.

00:21:56.560 Well, I appreciate you, Justin, and you're exactly right.

00:22:00.380 This is just another story.

00:22:03.120 Another story of the exact same scenario, right?

00:22:07.800 We've seen this time and time and time again. 0.78

00:22:10.880 Make no mistake, this is a mediocre male athlete who is just that mediocre average at best

00:22:17.880 to then switching to the women's team and becoming a record smasher, like you said. 1.00

00:22:23.300 We saw this, of course, in regards to Leah Thomas.

00:22:26.140 We saw this now at this college in New Jersey.

00:22:28.380 We saw this at a college at Roanoke College.

00:22:31.720 It's continuing to happen.

00:22:34.300 And notice, of course, it's only going one way.

00:22:37.200 We only see men infiltrating into women's sports and not the other way around. 0.94

00:22:41.380 And, of course, ask yourself why.

00:22:42.880 And I think every common sense person knows exactly why.

00:22:46.440 And it's because males are advantageous when it comes to something that requires sheer strength or athleticism.

00:22:51.900 And it's not sexist or bigoted to say that.

00:22:55.540 You know, it seems like common sense, but now we can't even agree, apparently, on these days on what a woman is.

00:23:01.460 So it's this crazy conversation that's taking place where people are, I think, rationally standing up and saying,

00:23:09.140 no, no, no, I'm not going to.

00:23:10.480 And you're one of them, so, you know, you ought to be applauded for that.

00:23:13.660 But I'm not going to waver here.

00:23:17.220 And yet we see more and more of this.

00:23:20.160 And I don't know the details of this particular swimmer, whether there was, like, a full transformation that went through, you know, physically.

00:23:28.500 You can't change down to the genetics.

00:23:30.960 There are things that you just can't change.

00:23:33.080 You could cut and tuck and nip and slice and dice all you want.

00:23:38.660 But the truth is, down to the genetic level, you can't make those changes.

00:23:44.440 There are advantages.

00:23:46.000 And you point that out.

00:23:49.100 But this isn't the only sport.

00:23:50.620 Swimming seems like we see this more and more.

00:23:52.720 But there are other sports, including, like, fighting.

00:23:55.040 I've seen some of these cases where some of these fighters decide they're going to get it.

00:24:00.100 That's just crazy abuse to me.

00:24:03.460 Of course.

00:24:04.140 And when you have sports like fighting or, for example, like field hockey, which we saw recently, you have to add in the safety element to it.

00:24:13.600 Because, you know, in regard to swimming, of course, the argument is about fair competition and women losing out on opportunities and our privacy aspect in the locker room. 0.74

00:24:23.080 But we didn't necessarily have to worry about our physical safety because there's no collision or throwing something at one another and swimming.

00:24:30.160 But in field hockey, recently in Massachusetts, a male player playing on the women's team, of course, posing as a woman, hit a woman in the face.

00:24:38.920 And I just talked with her team and her teammates.

00:24:41.160 She lost her teeth, several of her teeth, and had to undergo facial reconstruction surgery to reconstruct her jaw.

00:24:48.700 Same thing with Peyton McNabb, a volleyball player in high school in North Carolina, who was hit in the face by a male, again, playing on the women's team.

00:24:59.200 Still to this day, this has been a year and three months since, still to this day from that hit.

00:25:05.080 She's now not playing college sports like she was supposed to. 0.83

00:25:08.540 Her vision is impaired.

00:25:10.660 She's still partially paralyzed on her right side of her body.

00:25:14.220 She has to have special accommodations for testing at school, all because of the brain injury she had from the male.

00:25:21.480 And, look, that's not to say that women playing against women, there's no injuries or injuries never happen, because, of course, they do.

00:25:28.820 But in those cases and many more, those injuries should have never happened.

00:25:35.180 You know, Riley Gaines joins us right now to talk about this latest story and so many others in this whole situation.

00:25:41.080 But, you know, you're looking at these things, and every one of these stories has something, I think, that's very similar in common, which is the solution.

00:25:54.220 We just played this clip with this woman who is going on about how bad the economy is and how much pain she and her family are feeling and how far things have come for them.

00:26:04.340 And they're making good money, but they're finding it harder and harder every day to survive, and I understand that.

00:26:09.060 I get that a lot of people are going through that right now, and they think they're doing the right things.

00:26:13.560 But she says a couple of things.

00:26:15.460 Number one, she says, you know, I'm not political.

00:26:19.460 I don't like to really get political.

00:26:21.120 It stresses me out, she says.

00:26:22.980 And then following that up, she says, somebody's got to do something.

00:26:27.300 Something is, it's so bad right now, but somebody has got to do something.

00:26:31.700 And I think to myself, I mean, she's nailed it.

00:26:35.520 She doesn't realize it in both of those statements, right?

00:26:38.280 Like, I'm not political.

00:26:39.960 Well, that's how we got into this place.

00:26:41.980 Of course.

00:26:42.560 There are a lot of people that are sitting on the sidelines right now, to use a sports phrase, but they're sitting on the sidelines watching all of this go down.

00:26:48.980 The world's burning, and they don't want to get political because, you know, it stresses them out.

00:26:53.140 But the alternative is this dumpster fire that we're watching right now.

00:26:56.700 And then the second piece of it is, somebody ought to do something.

00:26:59.980 That's right.

00:27:00.520 That somebody is you.

00:27:02.280 You've got to take a stand.

00:27:03.860 And I know you've chosen to do that.

00:27:05.520 Yeah.

00:27:06.380 Let me tell you, when I was in the position that I was in, again, that national championships where we faced Leah Thomas, a male, same story, 462nd against the men, to then dominating the women, I thought the exact same thing.

00:27:19.260 And I thought surely, really, I thought surely someone who was supposed to be protecting us, like our coaches or our parents or people with political power or people within the NCAA, I thought surely someone who was supposed to be protecting us would protect us.

00:27:35.180 I mean, what a naive thought, I guess.

00:27:37.440 And I remember the moment distinctly when I decided it had to be me because I'm standing on the podium.

00:27:43.660 And, look, I was smiling.

00:27:45.420 I was cheering, although I knew what was happening was wrong.

00:27:49.540 Me, specifically, I was denied the trophy because they told me that Leah Thomas had to hold it.

00:27:55.680 Again, formerly Will Thomas, keep up if you can, had to hold the trophy because it was crucial when photos were being taken, although we tied.

00:28:04.360 And I remember we were cheering.

00:28:05.580 We were applauding.

00:28:06.440 We knew it was wrong.

00:28:07.280 We knew the unfair competition, the locker room, the silencing that we were facing from our universities was wrong.

00:28:12.480 Yet we were applauding.

00:28:14.280 And it hit me on that podium, holding this trophy.

00:28:16.660 I know I have to give back, sharing my spot with the man.

00:28:19.980 How in the world could we expect someone else to save us if we weren't even willing to save ourselves?

00:28:26.960 This has to come from us as women.

00:28:28.880 I think female athletes, and I didn't think that's for the longest time, but I think female athletes need to boycott these events where males are participating. 0.97

00:28:37.540 Send the message that we're not, we've had enough.

00:28:40.160 We're rolling up our sleeves and we're saying no.

00:28:42.320 That being said, I do think parents need to step in.

00:28:45.160 We need coaches willing to defend their female athletes. 1.00

00:28:48.040 You know, we ask the question of where are the feminists? 1.00

00:28:50.340 Where are the feminists? 1.00

00:28:51.340 What about the question of where are the men?

00:28:54.020 We need strong men.

00:28:55.080 There's a lot of fingers to be pointed here in this battle.

00:28:58.420 This burden really shouldn't fall entirely on the shoulders of young girls and women like myself, like it has.

00:29:04.060 Now, I know dads are a big part of it.

00:29:07.420 Moms are a big part of it. 1.00

00:29:08.520 Parents got to take, coaches got to take some action.

00:29:11.120 But you're right.

00:29:11.640 All of this stops.

00:29:13.380 And you know that before when I talked to you about this, but like all of this stops when we just refuse to participate.

00:29:19.500 Just refuse to participate in the insanity.

00:29:22.740 But that hasn't happened.

00:29:25.200 We haven't quite hit that moment yet.

00:29:27.120 But the truth is, whether it's this crazy situation, we're talking about, you know, men competing in women's sports, boys competing against girls, whatever it might be.

00:29:38.420 Or it's things that we're dealing with in our own backyard and takeover that's happening at every step of the direction that we look at across the country with China trying to come. 0.90

00:29:49.740 And matter of fact, we'll have conversation about that a little later on this morning in the program.

00:29:53.080 But also, the other issues that we're facing, the border wide open, all of these things, they start with us getting more engaged in what it is that we're facing on a daily basis, finding the strength to take action, however that comes, and moving forward with that.

00:30:12.580 You said something the other day on Twitter, or X now, and I think this is perfect.

00:30:17.380 Courage is contagious.

00:30:18.740 So is hopelessness.

00:30:19.800 And if we stick our heads in the sand, boy, we really, we're going to feel that way.

00:30:23.700 And that's sometimes what I think what they intend on us feeling.

00:30:26.760 But the opposite is true, too.

00:30:28.600 And that's the inspiring part.

00:30:30.220 I think that's the part they don't want to catch fire, is that courage is contagious.

00:30:35.320 And I thank you for yours.

00:30:37.580 Absolutely.

00:30:38.300 Well, I truly believe that.

00:30:41.860 I think we know courage is contagious.

00:30:45.200 But like I said, so is hopelessness.

00:30:47.460 And so it's our job, it's our duty, I think, as human beings, I think as parents, I think as women, as Christians, I think it's our duty to have hope, to stand firm, to be bold, to be empowering, and to say the truth.

00:31:01.640 That's what this all boils down to, is merely saying the emperor wears no clothes.

00:31:08.100 And I don't think it's hard to do, so I think it's something we should all be doing.

00:31:11.160 Riley Gaines, what are you up to now?

00:31:13.220 Obviously speaking out, standing strong, and I think you've got a podcast, too.

00:31:18.120 I do.

00:31:18.960 I have a podcast through Outkick.

00:31:20.980 It is the Gaines for Girls podcast, where interviewing, you know, different policy experts and, of course, people who have been affected by this gender ideology movement, world-renowned scientists regarding the topic.

00:31:32.300 So really cool stuff going on there.

00:31:33.980 We're going to continue speaking at college campuses in the spring semester, which I think is really important to engage the younger generation, who certainly needs to be engaged, and who I believe is desperate for the truth, to hear the truth.

00:31:49.000 So lots of really awesome things.

00:31:51.040 Another congressional hearing coming up in a few weeks, testifying in Ohio on behalf of their Women's Sports Bill this week.

00:31:58.000 So lots of impact to be made in the near future, which is exciting.

00:32:00.880 I'm following you on X, but where's the best place people can keep up with you?

00:32:06.120 X is perfect.

00:32:07.480 My username is Riley underscore Gaines underscore, many underscores, because my account before Elon Musk era was banned many times.

00:32:18.180 X is a wonderful platform, and I am thankful for the ability to speak freely there, where that's not the case on a lot of platforms.

00:32:26.520 We'll continue to keep people updated, and thank you for your courage as well.

00:32:30.040 Riley Gaines, thanks for being here with us today.

00:32:31.820 Appreciate you.

00:32:32.860 Thank you, Justin.

00:32:34.160 You got it.

00:32:34.860 In for Glenn Beck today on the Glenn Beck program, we continue the conversation.

00:32:38.020 You can join us to at 888-727-BECK.

00:32:40.660 That's 888-727-BECK. 0.81

00:32:43.960 There's a mystery illness.

00:32:47.080 Overwhelming hospitals in China.

00:32:49.700 Plus, we get the update on hostages.

00:32:51.440 It looks like some of the release is underway right now.

00:32:54.880 But I know what you're thinking.

00:32:56.000 Here we go again.

00:32:57.180 China. 0.96

00:32:57.480 Has a mystery illness.

00:32:59.140 But there's some facts.

00:33:00.440 There's some truth behind some of this that actually gives me a little bit of hope, a little bit of encouragement that hopefully we'll get out.

00:33:08.940 Mark this date that you hear the truth, because, you know, it's an election year.

00:33:13.120 So things can get a little weird in the coming days.

00:33:17.480 We'll get to all of that and more coming up next on the Glenn Beck program.

00:33:21.080 Barkley and for back today.

00:34:34.940 Up on X at Mr. Justin Barclay.

00:34:44.880 In fact, I'm all over those platforms the same at Mr. Justin Barclay.

00:34:48.960 Barclay in for BECK this morning and the updates we have that hostage release is underway according to reports that are coming in right now.

00:34:55.380 It looks like about 14 eminent children being released as that ceasefire is underway, too, and so forth.

00:35:03.000 Sticking for the next several days.

00:35:06.120 Praying for those folks.

00:35:07.880 I've got a story that's sending chills down the spines of a lot of folks.

00:35:14.960 I think mine included because, you know, you're thinking to yourself, you're seeing this, oh, boy, here we go again.

00:35:20.180 And it's a story of a virus out of China.

00:35:24.700 Oh, this is not good.

00:35:28.680 It is a mystery pneumonia leaving China overwhelmed, they say, with sick children.

00:35:35.020 But I've got to slow it down.

00:35:36.960 I've got to give you a little bit of a just a pause for caution.

00:35:40.280 Some of the things that we're hearing about this story, overwhelmed hospitals, kids, and the worst off in all of this, we're getting some clarification on.

00:35:50.900 It turns out China just lifted their restrictions.

00:35:55.060 So I get it.

00:35:55.740 We're going into a nothing.

00:35:58.220 Nothing's off the table.

00:35:59.100 But we're going into an election year.

00:36:01.600 Anything's possible.

00:36:03.400 So there are people that are a little freaked out about.

00:36:06.200 I understand your concern on this.

00:36:07.860 But we're finding out the same thing is happening in China that happened in America.

00:36:11.120 When they finally are coming off of those restrictions.

00:36:13.220 Imagine that.

00:36:13.940 The masks and the protocols and all the other things they did in order to keep people safer, quote unquote, right?

00:36:20.800 That's it ends up hurting people.

00:36:24.200 We know this now more than ever.

00:36:26.880 We continue to hit the updates in the data.

00:36:29.020 The school closings hurt kids more than they could have ever imagined in so many different ways.

00:36:34.460 And mental health particularly.

00:36:37.100 But also the fact that the kids weren't around each other.

00:36:40.620 So your immune system kind of drags when it's not competing, when it's not out there fighting and fighting off bugs.

00:36:46.300 So now they've taken the masks off and they're out circulating again and they're being overwhelmed.

00:36:50.820 And one of those things is the RSV, which is...

00:36:52.820 We saw all of that here in America.

00:36:55.680 So just bring you down a little bit of...

00:36:57.620 Maybe a little bit of hope, some good news.

00:36:59.580 But we will touch on China because they are a force we ought to be concerned with coming up in the next hour.

00:37:07.000 You're going to hear more about that.

00:37:08.260 And what people are doing all across the country and little towns to fight back, to stand up.

00:37:14.960 Maybe a blueprint for you to join the fight.

00:37:18.160 Coming up in just a moment.

00:37:19.700 That sparkly in for Beck today, 888-727-BECK, the number if you want to join in as well.

00:37:25.640 Back after this on the Glenn Beck Program.

00:37:31.300 This is the Glenn Beck Program.

00:37:49.700 What you are about to hear is the fusion of entertainment,

00:37:55.640 and enlightenment.

00:38:01.580 This is the Glenn Beck Program.

00:38:03.580 We've got to stand together, it's a goodness of mine.

00:38:05.080 Stand up straight and hold the line.

00:38:07.560 Stand up straight and hold the line.

00:38:09.820 Stand up straight and hold the line.

00:38:12.460 Stand up straight and hold the line.

00:38:13.940 It's a new day or time to rise.

00:38:17.580 Here is the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment.

00:38:21.500 This is the Glenn Beck Program.

00:38:28.780 Whether you realize it or not, the country is under attack.

00:38:34.220 And in fact, people are fighting back, both on the left and the right.

00:38:38.680 What's uniting them?

00:38:40.580 And is this a blueprint for taking ground and taking the country back?

00:38:46.260 And we'll tell you how you can join in the fight to save the nation's soul.

00:38:53.400 And maybe it's soil.

00:38:54.680 We'll know how we're at it.

00:38:56.400 Justin Barkley in for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck Program back after this.

00:39:07.260 Aches and pains are just part of getting older.

00:39:09.880 You know it and I know it, but that doesn't mean you have to just accept it.

00:39:12.780 That's why I want to tell you the story about Nancy from Texas and her Relief Factor story.

00:39:17.380 For years, she took care of horses and gave riding lessons.

00:39:20.660 She started getting older and Nancy began feeling the effects, so she decided to give Relief Factor a try.

00:39:25.640 It didn't work overnight, but it did work.

00:39:28.480 These days, she says, I have more stamina because I don't hurt.

00:39:31.980 With Relief Factor, she can keep going and doing more. 0.98

00:39:35.020 I can relate, as I used to have terrible aches and pains in my hands.

00:39:38.960 It was to the point that I didn't even want to get out of bed in the morning.

00:39:42.100 But ever since starting Relief Factor, I've got my life back.

00:39:45.460 If you're living with aches and pains, see how Relief Factor, a daily, drug-free supplement,

00:40:01.080 Visit ReliefFactor.com or call 800-4-RELIEF.

00:40:04.900 That's 800, the number 4, RELIEF.

00:40:13.100 You know, something interesting is happening.

00:40:20.320 You know, amongst all of the bad news that we get on a daily basis, and we get lots of it, right?

00:40:26.840 It's like drinking from a firehose, I have to say.

00:40:31.460 It's never a dull moment these days.

00:40:33.400 We're constantly under attack, and look, I think some of that is intentional.

00:40:37.440 No doubt.

00:40:38.340 I mean, the more that's thrown at us, the more that we have to dodge or fend off,

00:40:44.920 well, the less likely we are going to be able to spot what really matters most in the course than defend against it.

00:40:52.760 That's just the strategy of the nature of the warfare we're at right now,

00:40:59.640 and what we're seeing happening is unfolding on a daily basis.

00:41:03.240 I think it's important for us to have good news, too.

00:41:08.820 In fact, I wrote a book about it.

00:41:10.060 Good news, hope, and encouragement for trying times.

00:41:12.060 And that's what this is today, a story about some good news.

00:41:16.380 It happened just the other day in a small rural town, in fact, a township just north of a place called Big Rapids,

00:41:30.880 which is in Michigan, northern Michigan.

00:41:35.340 Ferris State University is the home of this place.

00:41:37.560 It's a place called Green Charter Township.

00:41:42.160 Americans came together, both on the left and right, to stand up and fight back and take action against a township board that just wasn't listening.

00:41:53.980 They just weren't listening to the people.

00:41:58.240 But they don't care where you are, Democrat, Republican, left, right, whatever your politics are.

00:42:03.800 But when the people who have been elected to represent you are no longer doing so, in fact, they're not even listening to you.

00:42:11.820 Many of them have been in place for decades.

00:42:14.380 They don't feel like they have to.

00:42:17.420 You've got to stand up, and you have to take action.

00:42:20.280 And people had never been involved in politics at all, did just that.

00:42:24.140 And it all hinged on an electric vehicle battery plant.

00:42:29.120 A plant owned by a company, proposed there by a company named Goshen, parent company Goshen High Tech.

00:42:40.180 In their official company articles, on their very own website, they mentioned their allegiance with the Chinese Communist Party.

00:42:51.640 China.

00:42:51.840 As you can imagine, this isn't flying well in rural Michigan.

00:42:55.400 I don't think it would fly well, really, anywhere across the country.

00:43:00.240 Along with those national security implications, there are also concerns from folks on the left about the environmental impact at this battery plant.

00:43:07.420 All the toxic chemicals that are going to be used to build these batteries.

00:43:11.580 And, of course, they're telling us there's going to be jobs, jobs, jobs, so many jobs.

00:43:15.980 You're going to love it.

00:43:16.660 But the question about those jobs, how many, and what the impact might be versus the other issues as well is what really has sparked the fight, left and right, standing up to fight back.

00:43:28.740 Here to talk a little bit about that, former congressman, former ambassador, right in the fight in the middle of it all, Pete Huckstra from Michigan joining us right now.

00:43:36.420 Appreciate you, Ambassador.

00:43:37.400 How are you?

00:43:38.560 Hey, I'm doing just fine.

00:43:39.860 Thank you.

00:43:40.520 Yeah.

00:43:40.920 And thanks for staying focused on this issue.

00:43:44.500 It really is, as you characterize it, it's the left and the right fighting.

00:43:49.380 But for once, they're not fighting each other.

00:43:51.200 They're actually fighting together, and they're fighting the elites in their township.

00:43:55.660 They're fighting the elites in our state capitol in Lansing, and they're fighting the elites in Washington, D.C., who all came together and said,

00:44:04.560 you know what, putting this mega-site battery factory in this little rural community in northern Michigan, providing them with billions of dollars of tax breaks, you know, we think that's a good idea.

00:44:18.120 We think that's a good idea for green township.

00:44:20.460 And these folks all said, what?

00:44:22.880 What say you?

00:44:24.720 We say no.

00:44:26.100 And so they came together.

00:44:29.240 They got the signatures for a recall.

00:44:31.440 So they recalled their elected officials.

00:44:34.060 They recalled and rescinded a township ordinance that facilitated this battery plant.

00:44:42.740 And, you know, the new group has been installed.

00:44:44.900 They're already fighting back.

00:44:46.160 But I think the most important thing here, Justin, they just didn't barely win.

00:44:52.840 They crushed them.

00:44:54.600 They crushed them.

00:44:55.880 They got 70 percent of the vote in a recall.

00:44:59.000 They crushed them.

00:45:00.780 And hallelujah.

00:45:03.580 It was wild to watch.

00:45:05.940 You know, this whole process has been wild.

00:45:09.000 And I know that Ambassador Pete Uxher is with us right now.

00:45:12.560 He has been in the middle of this, kind of watching and participating, helping in the fight,

00:45:17.940 bringing along with Ambassador Joe Sella, Congressman John Molinar here in Michigan,

00:45:23.940 now the entire Michigan delegation coming together, actually joining with a congressman in Illinois,

00:45:31.320 where coincidentally there's a battery plant.

00:45:34.100 The same company wants to put another plant in that state as well.

00:45:37.600 Well, and this is happening across the country, this is why I bring this to your attention,

00:45:41.800 is because this is a fight that is not going anywhere.

00:45:47.180 They first wanted to try this in Alabama.

00:45:48.900 And the story just came out a couple of weeks ago that the folks in Alabama looked at it and they said,

00:45:53.480 no, we're going to pass on this.

00:45:55.060 Why?

00:45:56.060 National security concerns.

00:45:57.820 But the governor of Michigan, who is one of the worst, Wicked Whitmer of Michigan, 0.98

00:46:05.740 she's been all in on this along with Biden.

00:46:11.340 And, of course, she has pledged and they gave almost a billion dollars, Michigan taxpayer money,

00:46:18.100 to buy the farmland.

00:46:19.140 So China buying pure Michigan farmland, and in this case to put a battery plant on top of it,

00:46:24.700 I know that's another issue that's coming up across the country as well,

00:46:27.720 is what is China doing buying up all this farmland?

00:46:30.580 And aren't we going to be maybe taking a closer look at this?

00:46:33.040 Why haven't we?

00:46:34.380 It is a fight for the nation's soul, but also the nation's soil.

00:46:40.520 We really, we do have to take a closer look at some of these things,

00:46:43.960 because this is part of China's overall plan, isn't it?

00:46:47.020 And I mean, I know you're very familiar, you've written a book actually on this,

00:46:51.620 but China's plans for America, they're quite detailed and they're quite patient about it, aren't they?

00:46:57.960 Well, they really are.

00:46:58.900 I mean, they have a long-term goal to, you know, to dominate the world.

00:47:04.800 They want to be the military leader in the world.

00:47:07.340 They want to be the economic leader in the world.

00:47:10.600 And, you know, here we are.

00:47:12.820 And it's not just, you know, Governor Whitmer.

00:47:15.200 I mean, yeah, she's right smack dab in the middle of it, but, you know,

00:47:18.780 we ought to also lay the blame right at the feet of, you know,

00:47:22.200 prominent Michigan Republican business people.

00:47:26.620 It's how they get corrupted when the federal government and the state government

00:47:30.880 lays billions of dollars out in front of them for the taking

00:47:35.720 and says, hey, you know, we'll slip you $50 million for your priorities

00:47:42.100 as we want this Chinese battery plant in Mecosta County, Green Township.

00:47:48.920 And these folks just go after the money like crazy. 0.98

00:47:54.560 And, you know, so, you know, the only place to really fight them

00:47:58.920 is what the residents in Green Township did.

00:48:02.600 They fought them at the local level, you know, because, you know,

00:48:06.860 you're fighting, you're fighting for votes, but you're also fighting for money.

00:48:10.680 You know, we're, you know, we're, we're put up a bunch of,

00:48:14.040 trying to put up a bunch of legal obstacles to Goshen.

00:48:16.840 But who are we fighting?

00:48:18.200 We're fighting, we were fighting Green Township.

00:48:20.620 We were fighting the state, their economic development group.

00:48:23.860 We were fighting an organization called The Right Place,

00:48:27.620 which is a big economic development group on the west side of the state of Michigan.

00:48:31.460 And these folks have deep, deep pockets, and we're fighting it with grassroots in a township.

00:48:39.340 You know, so, but, you know, don't forget the little guy.

00:48:45.900 You know, that's what America's all about.

00:48:48.300 And the little guy spoke in Green Township.

00:48:51.100 And, you know, we're moving forward.

00:48:53.660 And, you know, it's amazing that the tip of the spear of fighting the Chinese Communist Party, 0.74

00:48:59.980 you won't find the tip of the spear in Washington.

00:49:02.960 You won't find the tip of the spear in Lansing.

00:49:06.020 You find it at the local level with grassroots Americans.

00:49:09.900 It's amazing that there's only a few people in Washington and in Lansing who are willing to join this fight.

00:49:18.300 But, you know, the little folks in Green Township, they said, hey, we'll take this fight on.

00:49:25.020 And they've demonstrated that they can win.

00:49:28.360 Ambassador, former Ambassador Pete Huckster joins us right now.

00:49:31.040 And I want to give people a chance to help out if they can.

00:49:34.180 I know this issue is far from over.

00:49:35.940 It's a win.

00:49:37.180 It's not the final.

00:49:38.520 It's one of the battles, not the end of the war.

00:49:40.420 But Mecosta Environmental and Security Alliance, you know, you're working with them.

00:49:45.440 Mesa, they've got a website where they are taking donations to fight this thing off.

00:49:50.460 And, by the way, this win there in that little township of Michigan will have echoes and reverberate across the country.

00:49:57.560 And this is not just about Michigan.

00:49:59.800 It's not just about that township.

00:50:01.220 It's about the fate of our country.

00:50:03.320 I know they're taking donations at protectmecosta.org, the website there.

00:50:08.640 Protectmecosta.org.

00:50:09.640 But what do those donations go to and what will that help fund in the fight?

00:50:14.680 Well, what it's been fighting so far, what it's been funding so far, our legal fight against Goshen.

00:50:21.120 I mean, there's all kinds of issues that we think we can tackle this plant on, environmental issues.

00:50:27.300 A battery plant is going to be a huge consumer of water.

00:50:31.320 So we're concerned about what happens to the groundwater.

00:50:34.620 We're concerned, like you said, we're concerned about the materials that they're going to be bringing into the site, the environmental impact that they may have.

00:50:42.820 But, you know, we're concerned about, you know, what it's going to do to the community.

00:50:48.400 Because, as you said, it's environmentalists, it's community activists.

00:50:52.580 And thank you, Barack Obama.

00:50:54.280 It's community organizers that have joined with us who are concerned about the national security implications, all fighting this really bad idea.

00:51:05.320 And so the funds that you donate to this organization, they're used to fight all of these initiatives and to fight the deep pockets that you find at Goshen,

00:51:18.140 that you find at the right place, that you find in Lansing, and that you find in Washington.

00:51:23.000 Remember, this is billions of dollars.

00:51:26.360 And as you said, it's not just about Mecosta.

00:51:29.640 It's about what's going on in another community in Michigan, Marshall, Michigan.

00:51:33.540 It's about what's going on in Illinois, where they want to build, where Goshen wants, again, is being incentivized to build a battery plant.

00:51:43.180 But the other thing is it's a much bigger fight.

00:51:45.520 Remember during COVID?

00:51:46.460 I do.

00:51:47.500 In the Netherlands, you know, we were dependent on supplies coming in from the Chinese Communist Party, coming in from China.

00:51:56.220 And the big talk was then we've got to onshore some of the production of these products.

00:52:00.680 But that fight has now gone away under the Biden administration.

00:52:05.640 You know, we need to reshore some of these articles, some of these commodities and some of these products.

00:52:11.940 And those are the fights that, on a larger scale, we're also going to be engaging in.

00:52:17.840 But it's battery plants and key technologies today don't give China the lead.

00:52:23.800 And in the future, it's going to be resourcing to America, to our allies, the things that we need every day to survive and be a great nation.

00:52:33.940 So, former congressman, former ambassador, and speaking of which, Pete Huckstra, you just mentioned the Netherlands.

00:52:39.920 I've got to take a quick pause here, a quick break.

00:52:42.160 If you can hang on with us through this, I want to ask you something pretty incredible.

00:52:46.640 Revolutionary is happening over there.

00:52:47.920 In fact, I think you maybe have a little insight into it.

00:52:50.640 We'll get your take on something big happening, a conservative movement happening there.

00:52:55.540 We just saw in Argentina, conservative movements happening throughout the world right now.

00:53:00.980 We'll get your take, get the pulse on that when we come back.

00:54:09.180 All right, back in the Glenn Beck program, Barclay Infra back today.

00:54:23.220 We got a former congressman, former ambassador, Pete Huckstra, on the phone line with us.

00:54:27.320 Now, you're ambassador to the Netherlands during your time.

00:54:29.900 And something big just happened there.

00:54:31.520 In fact, we're seeing some things happening throughout the world right now that are shocking a lot of people.

00:54:35.820 But there was just a massive election there, and something wild happened.

00:54:41.440 Can you fill us in on this?

00:54:43.480 Yeah, actually, I was just in the – I just came back from the Netherlands earlier this week.

00:54:48.060 But Sherrick Wilders, who, you know, has been a prominent politician in the Netherlands since the 90s.

00:54:56.640 I met him when I was in Congress in the 90s.

00:54:59.860 So I've known Sherrick for almost close to 30 years.

00:55:04.280 And, you know, so he's a friend of mine.

00:55:06.560 But when I got to be the ambassador to the Netherlands, I talked to, you know, my employees at the State Department and said,

00:55:13.140 hey, I'm a parliamentarian.

00:55:14.340 I want to get to meet the parliamentarians in the Dutch parliament.

00:55:17.940 And they said, okay, and we'll start scheduling meetings with you.

00:55:21.220 And I said, okay, and I'd like to meet with Sherrick Wilders.

00:55:25.300 And they said, well, you know, you really can't do that, ambassador.

00:55:28.580 And I said, what do you mean I can't do that?

00:55:30.380 Well, you know, he's too controversial.

00:55:32.560 I said, you know, that doesn't bother me.

00:55:35.640 I mean, I ended up meeting with the Muslim Party, and I ended up, you know, it's kind of like, no,

00:55:41.560 you're not going to tell me who I'm going to meet with.

00:55:43.160 I'm going to meet with all the parliamentarians, and that includes Sherrick Wilders.

00:55:46.720 And so he's been on the scene for, you know, more than 20 years and been, you know, spoken very aggressively on anti-Islam issues, radical Islam and those kinds of things.

00:56:02.240 And then during, but he's also spoken on a lot of other issues, immigration, the EU and those kinds of things.

00:56:09.620 And, you know, he consistently, in election cycles, would come in, you know, somewhere between the second or the fourth, the largest party in the Netherlands.

00:56:18.800 And you say, well, you'll come in fourth.

00:56:20.540 And it's like, hey, the last parliament had 15 parties in it.

00:56:24.380 So you come in fourth, you're still a pretty sizable voice.

00:56:27.400 And in this election cycle, it appears that the same thing that happened up in Greentownship, the people who were in elected office forgot who they'd worked for.

00:56:43.200 You know, the Dutch, you know, they've been going along the green movement.

00:56:47.380 They've been the leaders in Europe on the green issues.

00:56:49.620 They were, in the last parliament, they're having huge fights with their farmers because they want to close 30 to 50 percent of their farms.

00:56:59.300 Well, the Dutch are the, you know, they're a huge agricultural country.

00:57:03.820 And, you know, who told them they had to close that many farms?

00:57:08.320 The EU.

00:57:09.560 And they're saying, wait a minute, this is our country.

00:57:12.640 You know, we'll make our rules.

00:57:14.560 And we kind of like farmers.

00:57:15.880 But the elites in the establishment said, no, we have to follow the EU.

00:57:21.280 And so what happened in this cycle, I think what happened on, you know, on Wednesday was the Dutch people spoke.

00:57:28.860 They were dissatisfied with the establishment parties and said, you know, you've been working on these issues for the last 13 years on immigration, on our concerns about the EU.

00:57:39.340 You haven't done anything.

00:57:41.360 And in some cases, we think that you've made the situation worse.

00:57:47.140 You know, we're going to go with somebody that we think is finally going to confront our concerns about immigration, who's going to confront our concerns about the green energy movement, who's going to confront our concerns about losing our Dutchness to the EU.

00:58:03.840 And, you know, there were four parties.

00:58:06.960 They were all expected to get between 20 and 25 seats in the parliament.

00:58:12.500 And builders came in, builders party came in, what looks like now 37 seats, beating all expectations.

00:58:22.800 And again, not by a small margin, but by a huge and significant margin.

00:58:28.740 The challenge now for here is he's got to put together a coalition.

00:58:32.820 He's got to get the 75 votes.

00:58:35.160 And we'll have to wait and see whether he can do that or not.

00:58:37.840 We'll keep an eye on all of it for you.

00:58:39.400 But former ambassador to the Netherlands there, Pete Hoekstra, appreciate your time with us.

00:58:43.700 And again, the website, folks, you got it.

00:58:46.220 God bless you.

00:58:46.840 And if folks want to donate to that cause, MESA, McCosta Environmental Security Alliance, Protect McCosta, M-E-C-O-S-T-A.org.

00:58:55.400 I'll put it up on Lincoln X as well.

00:58:58.080 Coming up next, a lot of talk about Meg and Mike Johnson and a lot of controversy over the new Speaker of the House.

00:59:05.260 One of the controversies I never saw coming is apparently he's a guy who does not want to look at certain things,

00:59:12.800 doesn't want his family to see certain things.

00:59:14.740 And I'll tell you why and what he's doing next.

00:59:17.080 Next, the Glenn Beck Program.

01:00:21.800 Rules and restrictions may apply.

01:00:22.960 Mega Mike Johnson.

01:00:37.620 In fact, some are calling him Mega Mega Mike Johnson, Speaker of the House.

01:00:43.520 One, I think, kind of a miraculous fight for the Speaker.

01:00:49.080 You know, you go back and you remember how this all played out.

01:00:51.640 And I was hearing from all kinds of folks there in Congress, staff and people on the sidelines with other organizations and groups.

01:00:58.720 And they're talking about, there's no way.

01:01:00.020 How do you get to 217?

01:01:01.400 Who can do it?

01:01:02.000 We'd have no clue how this is going to all go down.

01:01:04.600 And, of course, just the miraculous circumstances surrounding it all.

01:01:10.440 And I think there was a little bit of a divine providence, maybe divine intervention through it all.

01:01:18.960 And that's probably why I find this next story kind of fascinating, how they're going after it.

01:01:26.540 Now, they're going to go after anybody.

01:01:28.300 Anybody on the right, in fact, right now in Dublin, they are talking about the riots, the clashes that took place.

01:01:35.300 I think five people were stabbed, three kids in Dublin by somebody who was there illegally and still learning more about that individual.

01:01:48.060 But they are now saying that these people that were protesting and part of the riots last night in Dublin, they were far right. 0.99

01:01:54.100 So now you are far right, just like they will call Maga Mike Johnson, far right.

01:02:00.340 You're far right if you're against stabbing kids.

01:02:04.740 That's where we are right now.

01:02:07.640 The insanity of the world, the way things are just completely turned upside down.

01:02:12.500 I guess, you know, when the world is so messed up, just the point to me is I don't mind being called crazy. 0.72

01:02:20.440 When normal is so evil and it's so wrong, I don't mind being called a little nutty.

01:02:30.440 I don't want to be normal.

01:02:33.840 And so does neither does Maga Mike Johnson.

01:02:36.300 Apparently he and his son, this is one of the stories I never thought would take charge like it has, but it has.

01:02:44.300 He has talked about how he and his son have downloaded an app to help keep them accountable so that they're not looking at things online that they shouldn't be.

01:02:55.980 Things online that aren't good for them and other people as well.

01:02:58.660 And this story, the way the world and the left, particularly media folks, have reacted to it is just incredible.

01:03:10.740 I've been watching the fallout from it all, and I've been rather amused, but also curious, and maybe you have too.

01:03:24.320 There is an app called Covenant Eyes, and they have downloaded this app, and they are using it.

01:03:30.120 In fact, I sparked my interest because I've heard of it, but I wasn't really sure exactly how it's used,

01:03:36.160 but how it works and what exactly they're doing, and also just how this all plays in.

01:03:42.000 Maybe other people are starting to draw some attention to this and the issue.

01:03:46.060 And so we reached out and thought we would talk to a founder, someone who will discuss this with us.

01:03:52.540 Rhonda Haas is with us right now from Covenant Eyes.

01:03:55.020 Ron, we appreciate you being here with us today on the Glenn Beck program.

01:03:58.560 Hey, Justin. It's great to be here. Thank you.

01:04:00.560 So tell us what Covenant Eyes is and where it came from, and then we'll get into Maga Mike and his story in just a little bit.

01:04:10.300 But what's the app about, and where did it come from?

01:04:13.440 It is quite a story, and I agree with everything you just said.

01:04:18.020 You know, it's interesting.

01:04:20.720 So here's how Covenant Eyes works.

01:04:23.080 First of all, you get an ally, someone who cares about you and is willing to hold you accountable for your Internet use.

01:04:30.560 And your ally will then get from Covenant Eyes a regular check-in on your activity.

01:04:36.960 And so the idea is to be porn, right?

01:04:39.780 And so the result is, and here's kind of the statistics of the result.

01:04:45.560 The result is that less than 5% of our software users cross the explicit threshold from the very first day that they use it.

01:04:55.380 So, in other words, even from the very first day, 95% of Covenant Eyes members are successful in avoiding explicit material.

01:05:05.680 And we get that from over 100 million data points that we gather every month.

01:05:13.320 And now compare that to cigarettes, for instance.

01:05:15.560 Imagine if there was a solution that was 95% successful in beating cigarettes from the very first day.

01:05:22.700 It's pretty remarkable.

01:05:23.720 Why is this such a problem for some people?

01:05:26.840 I mean, I can imagine what you're going to catch and what the app might track.

01:05:32.220 But, you know, just looking at anything, Facebook or Instagram or anything social media, people are going to come across.

01:05:41.240 Chances are they're going to come across stuff that, I mean, is right there on that edge.

01:05:45.140 It sounds a lot of times cross it.

01:05:46.340 Oh, yeah.

01:05:47.580 We have to face the fact that virtually everybody, now there are a few exceptions that I've come across, but virtually everybody has been tempted by porn on the Internet.

01:05:59.300 The statistics show that upwards of 70% of men and upwards of 50% of women actually have an ongoing struggle with it.

01:06:07.720 And I've corresponded with hundreds of teens and young adults who have struggled with porn since they were younger than 13.

01:06:15.200 And these are people that come, kids that come from good homes.

01:06:19.480 You know, their parents really are shocked to find this out.

01:06:22.440 And rarely do I hear from anyone under 25 who was not exposed to porn by the time they were 12.

01:06:30.480 It has become the sex education of our young people.

01:06:36.340 It is training the boys, young boys, this is how you treat girls. 0.92

01:06:41.920 And it's teaching the girls this is how you get treated. 0.98

01:06:45.600 It really is becoming the sex education of our youth.

01:06:50.500 And, you know, it's interesting, the growth of the erectile dysfunction industry, ED.

01:06:59.020 In 1941, the Kinsey report showed that less than 1% of men 18 to 32 had ED.

01:07:08.480 And by 2013, there were three peer-reviewed studies that showed that upwards of 30% of young men, 18 to 32, have ED.

01:07:22.160 And so two decades ago, the ads for the ED drugs were old men talking to old men in the ad.

01:07:31.540 Now, you listen to the ads.

01:07:34.140 It's young men talking to young men.

01:07:36.800 And so that's the results.

01:07:39.060 I can see the headline here.

01:07:41.680 I know this is what I'm about to say it.

01:07:43.940 But, like, this is what I'm thinking, Ron. 0.92

01:07:46.740 But, like, porn is a communist plot.

01:07:50.860 And I don't know if the headline is coming. 0.76

01:07:53.840 But I want to say that, like, that it is a version of evil.

01:07:59.540 And it's a very seductive version that may start out in a very sort of relatable or just introductory way.

01:08:06.980 And it gets worse and worse and worse over time that people have talked about this.

01:08:11.180 But it really does seem to me that we are under attack these days, not just obviously with the physical that we're facing on the battlefields, you know, across the world.

01:08:21.780 But also in our hands, we've got these devices.

01:08:24.780 There's an information battle happening.

01:08:26.760 There's a battle for the soul of the nation in a lot of ways through information, propaganda.

01:08:31.660 But if you can get, it seems to me, into the relationships of men and women and even stop them from having them at all in America, and you can put a little wedge in between husbands and wives and just affect people in that way, I mean, you can do tremendous damage.

01:08:55.820 And I'm just reminded of Paul Harvey in that, you know, that famous If I Were the Devil segment that he did years ago, that piece.

01:09:05.360 I mean, it just, it's like prophetic the way that so many of those things have come true.

01:09:10.220 But these are the things you might do, you know, and that's why I just think about all of the ramifications that we're seeing because of social media or any number of websites or things that have things on them that might lead people down a path that they don't want to be on.

01:09:24.500 Yeah, you know, you're absolutely right.

01:09:28.180 Pornography is damaging every relationship that you can think of.

01:09:31.740 It's your family, your friends, it impedes your work, it impedes whatever ministry you have.

01:09:41.420 And 93% of our members, we do a poll of 300,000 members, what we have, we do a poll.

01:09:50.020 And 93% say that the reason they are, one of the reasons that they're using covenant eyes is to improve their relationship with God.

01:10:01.460 And they recognize that it has damaged that.

01:10:04.780 So, you know, the Mike Johnson story, for instance, the true story is he was being a good parent.

01:10:11.980 Mike Johnson, the true story is Mike Johnson is a good father.

01:10:17.600 And you're right.

01:10:18.720 People have taken that and turned it around to evil.

01:10:22.380 That's an evil thing.

01:10:23.680 Being a good father is a bad thing.

01:10:26.160 So he introduced this app with his son and a way to help keep him accountable, it sounds like.

01:10:33.500 And this sounds like a great way for him and his son to grow their relationship.

01:10:39.440 So tell me, what's the story on him, the true story about what happened with Mike as a father?

01:10:45.500 Well, okay, he was on a panel in a Baptist church gathering, and this was a year ago now.

01:10:53.360 And there was a video recording of the panel.

01:10:56.140 And in that panel, I mean, it's like, honestly, the Speaker of the House doing an advertisement for Covenant Eyes because he talked about Covenant Eyes accountability and how well it works and how he used Covenant Eyes successfully to help teach his son to stay away from pornography.

01:11:16.640 And so the headline, Rolling Stone magazine ran the headline.

01:11:23.940 So when Mike Johnson goes to his son and he says, I want to hold you accountable and I want you to hold me accountable on our Internet use because I want us both to avoid pornography.

01:11:37.380 I want us both to hold each other accountable.

01:11:41.220 And so they installed Covenant Eyes on their computers.

01:11:45.860 And here's the headline from Rolling Stone.

01:11:47.880 The Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, admitted that he and his son monitored each other's porn intake.

01:11:57.160 Oh, my gosh.

01:11:58.960 That was the headline that really kind of stirred up this whole story.

01:12:04.280 And, of course, that's not quite the actual story.

01:12:06.820 The actual story is that Mike Johnson, a good father, had a desire to discourage his son from getting trapped by pornography.

01:12:16.940 And not only that, he sets an example for his son by holding himself accountable with his son, mutual accountability.

01:12:25.760 So the real story is Mike Johnson is a good father.

01:12:30.460 That is quite a contrast.

01:12:31.660 And we could use more good fathers who are active and engaged in parenting and we ought to salute him.

01:12:36.540 So, Ron, how can people download the app and where can they go to find it?

01:12:42.520 It's covenanteyes.com.

01:12:45.500 If you have – and it is available on, of course, the Mac and Windows computers, but also on the iPhone and the Android.

01:12:57.140 And, by the way, the ratings that we get on Android and Mac are really pretty impressive.

01:13:05.640 We have one and a half million downloads on the two – on Android and iPhone.

01:13:17.040 And between – with all those downloads, it is very tough to get a rating above four on either platform.

01:13:28.100 But on Android, we have a 4.7 rating from nearly 10,000 reviews.

01:13:33.360 And on the iPhone, with over a million downloads and nearly 50,000 reviews, we get a 4.3 rating.

01:13:40.780 And so it really is – you know, our internal data shows that it's successful, but also what people say about it.

01:13:48.980 Bottom line is if you want to beat porn, accountability works.

01:13:53.360 And so if you just go to covenanteyes.com, you can download it there.

01:13:58.880 By the way, there is – on the iPhone and the Android, there's a free version that we call Victory.

01:14:03.780 And the purpose of Victory is to change the course of history by providing content and courses and other information that will help you beat porn.

01:14:14.020 That's totally free.

01:14:15.620 And I encourage people to at least get that.

01:14:19.380 And then take a look at our accountability program because it really does work.

01:14:24.440 And, by the way, there's a phone number at the bottom.

01:14:28.680 We have world-class customer service.

01:14:30.960 We never get a complaint on our customer service.

01:14:33.240 And they will walk you, if necessary.

01:14:36.720 If you're not accustomed to downloading things, and a lot of people aren't, all you have to do is call our customer service.

01:14:45.100 They will walk you through it step-by-step on how to set up your iPhone with parental control, even beyond Covenant Eyes.

01:14:52.120 Parental controls and all that.

01:14:55.140 Rhonda Haas is the founder of Covenant Eyes, covenanteyes.com.

01:14:58.420 I appreciate you taking the time to share with us the real story of what happened with the MAGA Mike Johnson, the Speaker of the House.

01:15:05.280 And, of course, keep us up to date on everything.

01:15:07.340 We appreciate it.

01:15:08.160 Thank you, Ron.

01:15:08.680 Justin, thank you.

01:15:09.580 I appreciate it.

01:15:10.740 You got it.

01:18:48.580 We'll talk about that.

01:18:49.800 And speaking of folks who are being held hostage right here in America.

01:18:54.760 By the justice system.

01:18:56.960 The injustice system.

01:18:59.360 By politics.

01:19:00.740 We've entered Banana Republic territory.

01:19:03.360 The release of the January 6th tapes.

01:19:05.980 Making more of that picture clearer every day.

01:19:09.920 Julie Kelly who's been following it from the get.

01:19:11.920 Will tell us what the latest release means.

01:19:14.620 And what could be coming next.

01:20:34.820 You know, watching some of these stories, absolutely heart-wrenching.

01:20:39.240 The latest I saw today from Julie's feed, and by the way, if you're not following her on X or formerly Twitter,

01:20:46.720 we'll give you the details about how you can follow her.

01:20:48.680 Just type in Julie Kelly, and she will come up.

01:20:52.380 It's Julie underscore Kelly, too.

01:20:54.700 But she's been following all of this all the way back, following part of President Trump's legal battles as well.

01:21:01.800 But she's posted today a story where a judge has told the person who's being charged that they can't dip into, like, GoFundMe,

01:21:14.540 basically a fun crowd fundraiser, in order to help feed the family.

01:21:22.720 I mean, something as simple as that.

01:21:25.300 Maybe pay some bills.

01:21:26.940 Maybe even legal bills.

01:21:28.460 Because I just, this stuff, you can't make it up the insanity.

01:21:35.160 And it's largely not being reported outside of folks like Julie.

01:21:39.260 And that's why it's being allowed to happen, because there's no sunlight being put on any of this.

01:21:45.240 These judges and some of the things that are happening in D.C.

01:21:48.240 are just happening under the cover of darkness.

01:21:51.420 But hopefully we'll put a bit of an end to that today.

01:21:54.240 Julie Kelly joins us now.

01:21:55.420 Julie, I appreciate you being here with us today.

01:21:58.400 Hey, Justin.

01:21:59.260 Thanks for having me on.

01:22:00.880 Yeah, this story that they can't, the judges said they can't use their GoFundMe and all that.

01:22:07.600 It's just insanity to me.

01:22:10.740 So this is a defendant named Jeremy Grosscloth.

01:22:14.280 He was not convicted of any violent crime.

01:22:17.380 He wasn't convicted of assaulting police officers or destroying federal property.

01:22:21.740 He was found guilty during a bench trial, which means a single judge determines his guilt or innocence.

01:22:29.080 And this is Judge Chris Cooper, an Obama appointee who happens to be married to a top chief, a former attorney general, Eric Holder.

01:22:37.960 And the two were married by none other than current attorney general, Merrick Garland.

01:22:44.520 So that should give you a little insight as to, and look, this is universal with these judges having ties either directly themselves through a spouse, whomever, to this Department of Justice.

01:22:56.180 Chris Cooper found this man guilty of numerous offenses, and then at his, when he announced his verdict on Tuesday, the Department of Justice under U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, Matthew Graves, another Biden appointee, not only asked for the judge to immediately remand Mr. Grosscloth into custody,

01:23:18.180 he snitched on Mr. Grosscloth's Give Son Go account created by his common law wife.

01:23:28.440 They've been together, he told me, since they were 11 years old.

01:23:30.620 They have two special needs children together.

01:23:33.580 They've raised about $40,000 from the public.

01:23:37.720 And this DOJ, now with Judge Cooper, directed or orally ordered that Mr. Grosscloth not use any of those funds that had been raised.

01:23:51.240 And how can that even be legal?

01:23:53.520 I know what, under what, how are they, how are they, how are they mentally, what are the gymnastics that they are jumping through the hoops to make that, that a thing?

01:24:03.560 Or is it just that blatant that they don't care?

01:24:07.720 They don't care.

01:24:09.680 There is no oversight.

01:24:12.060 This is one of many reasons why we need either video or audio feed to every federal criminal district courtroom.

01:24:20.960 Because unless you go there, and I have to pay to go to Washington, D.C., sit in the courtroom where no devices are allowed in, you know, the old-fashioned way, write down as much as you can, or you can go into specially allotted media rooms where you can see the proceedings.

01:24:37.400 Only the proceedings, only the ones that are chosen, by the way, see the proceedings happening live, and then you can, you know, type it out on your computer or post it on social media.

01:24:45.860 There's no reason why these trials and proceedings should not be accessible to the public, except for the fact that you have sadistic judges like Judge Chris Cooper, who gets away with all of this because there is no public oversight.

01:25:02.560 There's no congressional oversight.

01:25:05.400 I have urged House Republicans, after they took over the House, I've asked them, here are judges, this is what they're doing under cover of darkness, right down the street from where you guys work.

01:25:18.040 This is what they're doing to American citizens.

01:25:21.700 You know, haul some before a hearing.

01:25:23.860 Let's do our own J6 committee.

01:25:26.680 Have Judge Chris Cooper explain why he did that, under what law enables him to do that.

01:25:32.200 Haul all of these judges, why they're holding nonviolent offenders for nearly two years under pretrial detention orders.

01:25:39.100 I've got a long list of unconstitutional, more importantly, inhumane things that these judges have done.

01:25:46.560 And to your point, unless you cover it, someone like me, you didn't see the corporate media, the J6 reporters who are assigned to cover January 6th at this courthouse, you didn't see them posting about this.

01:26:00.240 And there's a reason why, because part of it is to promote the agenda, the narrative of J6, also to cover up what these judges and DOJ are doing.

01:26:08.600 So, Mr. Gross closes, public defender Carmen Hernandez filed a motion on Wednesday morning asking what law Chris Cooper and the DOJ could cite that enabled him to direct him not to use funds out of a fund he didn't create and he didn't donate to that American citizens have donated to.

01:26:29.280 So, as I said, one in a very, very long list.

01:26:34.360 And this is why we need public access to especially the D.C. courthouse.

01:26:39.840 Julie Kelly's with us right now talking about the latest in these cases.

01:26:45.080 And obviously we had Speaker of the House Mike Johnson say that he would release, and we heard this before, but he would release some of these, more of these videos, footage from that day.

01:26:58.120 We've seen some of it come out.

01:27:00.480 What have you seen that you think has made a difference, and is there any yet still to come?

01:27:07.920 What's the impact going to be on all of this?

01:27:10.940 Well, I think you saw the impact, Justin, not just from people on our side, many of whom have not seen the surveillance video.

01:27:17.740 Of course, I was granted access to it.

01:27:20.040 I have seen these videos of police officers standing by, allowing protesters into the building, fist bumping them, doing nothing to indicate that the building was closed or that they were somehow committing a crime.

01:27:33.620 But most Americans have not seen this.

01:27:36.700 So they were shocked and outraged that this is the first time they've seen this video.

01:27:42.480 And then you saw the reverse reaction from the J6 propagandists in the media, people like Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger, reposting well-worn clips of clashes between protesters and police that day, as if that is the only thing that happened.

01:27:59.040 So they are panicking because the release of these tapes is gradually unraveling their carefully constructed narrative.

01:28:08.060 Millions of Americans, including lawmakers and even senators like Mike Lee, are asking questions why this video has not been released and why the January 6th committee, of course, cherry-picked videos, as we know, only a focus on the alleged role of Donald Trump and not everything else that was happening that day.

01:28:26.080 So I applaud Mike Johnson.

01:28:27.580 I do want to say that Speaker McCarthy's office has been working on this for months.

01:28:32.600 I know for a fact that they've been trying to work on a platform that was easily accessible to the public because these videos just are not easily accessible.

01:28:41.320 But I urge Speaker Johnson to accelerate the rate of release.

01:28:46.340 These are, this is only a teeny tiny handful of clips.

01:28:49.620 He needs to release a lot more on a rolling basis so we can continue the drumbeat to unravel this narrative and push for our own January 6th select committee that will do the actual work in exposing the truth.

01:29:04.700 We've got to take a quick break here.

01:29:06.080 I want to ask you more about some of these that have been released, but also that committee and whether or not some of the stuff was destroyed.

01:29:15.060 We've been hearing that maybe some of the evidence and videos may have been, some of that footage may have been destroyed.

01:29:19.380 I want to see if there's any truth to that.

01:29:21.620 We're talking with Julie Kelly right now.

01:29:23.680 We'll be back in just a quick second.

01:29:25.020 We've got to take a quick, just pause in the break here back after this and the Glenn Beck program.

01:30:31.140 Rules and restrictions may apply.

01:30:42.720 Julie Kelly's with us right now, and we're talking January 6th.

01:30:47.280 And Julie Dash, that's underscore Kelly, too, over on X or Twitter, if you want to stay up to date.

01:30:56.060 We'll ask her more about that coming up in a second.

01:30:57.900 But we heard some rumors, Julie, that some of this footage or evidence, certainly we know it was doctored.

01:31:03.560 We've seen the way they had left things in or took things out during the committee and the hearings.

01:31:09.240 But was any of it truth to this, that some of this may have been destroyed?

01:31:15.780 Yes, and I'm working on a piece about that right now.

01:31:19.160 Not only that some of the evidence is missing, and of course they were supposed to, this January 6th committee,

01:31:26.020 Benny Thompson, the chairman, and Nancy Pelosi are supposed to preserve all records produced during that congressional session

01:31:34.240 and turn that over to the relevant committee.

01:31:36.920 So all of this really should have been turned over to the House Administrative Committee.

01:31:40.920 Well, Representative Barry Loudermilk has, you know, contrasted what they have

01:31:46.020 versus what investigators and other records show that the committee should have.

01:31:51.300 And there are big discrepancies in the trove that the GOP was given and what the J6 committee produced.

01:31:57.740 Also, per a letter that I received, someone sent to me, between House Republicans and both the Biden White House

01:32:06.900 and Benny Thompson, all the video interviews, remember they cherry-picked all the clips from Cassidy Hutchinson

01:32:16.140 talking about how Donald Trump tried to strangle the Secret Service agent who was driving the limo that day, etc.

01:32:22.800 All of those videos are missing.

01:32:25.480 They have not been turned over to this committee.

01:32:29.120 Furthermore, on that note, the transcript, the transcribed interview with Bobby Engel,

01:32:34.420 who was driving the beast or whatever they call it, the limo that day,

01:32:38.680 that Cassidy Hutchinson said under oath that Donald Trump tried to strangle him for not taking him to the Capitol.

01:32:45.200 That transcribed interview has not been released publicly either.

01:32:49.480 There are hundreds of transcribed interviews, just the records missing, not to mention the videos.

01:32:56.240 So I'm doing some work on that.

01:32:58.760 I believe that Representative Loudermilk's committee continues digging into what they have and what they don't have.

01:33:05.580 And I think that that's a great effort.

01:33:07.540 But look, it's time to turn the tables, which is why I detail in a recent Substack piece why the Republicans need to form their own J-6 committee,

01:33:17.280 not the least of which is the videos, videos that are missing, videos like surveillance that have been under protective orders for almost three years.

01:33:24.180 But where are the missing records?

01:33:27.300 Why was House Speaker Nancy Pelosi off limits in the J-6 committee's investigation? 1.00

01:33:33.600 Where are, you know, other report?

01:33:36.880 Where are the reports of police brutality and use of excessive force that day, which prompted many of the clashes that we saw?

01:33:44.560 You have Liz Cheney, who just cherry picks protesters and police in these physical scuffles. 1.00

01:33:50.780 But they don't show what police had done for an hour before those scuffles began, which is assault the crowd outside with flashbangs, tear gas, rubber bullets and pepper balls,

01:34:01.480 which agitated the crowd outside, most of whom were doing absolutely nothing wrong.

01:34:05.980 And were these rogue responses or were they orders coming down from somewhere else?

01:34:12.560 Well, that's what we need to know.

01:34:14.400 And it's important to note that former chief, Capitol Police Chief Stephen Sund, who is really the fall guy in all of this.

01:34:24.520 And, of course, he was gave up his resignation the day after Nancy Pelosi used him as the scapegoat.

01:34:31.580 But he has publicly testified that he was left in the dark.

01:34:35.120 He was not in communication with the FBI.

01:34:38.300 He did not.

01:34:39.180 He was not aware of the dozens of undercover agents from both D.C. Metropolitan Police, Capitol Police, Department of Homeland Security.

01:34:48.380 We can go on and on.

01:34:49.900 He was intentionally left in the dark.

01:34:52.160 Why?

01:34:53.360 Which, by the way, left his own officers out to dry as well.

01:34:56.980 But someone ordered MPD, D.C. police to start firing on this crowd at about 1.10 that afternoon, which Justin just happened to coincide with the exact time that Donald Trump finished his speech at the Ellipse.

01:35:10.600 I'm sure it's just a coincidence.

01:35:15.240 Sure.

01:35:16.080 Oh, it's a conspiracy theory.

01:35:17.820 Conspiracy theory.

01:35:18.600 That's my favorite.

01:35:19.220 Oh, so many coincidental moments happening these days.

01:35:25.520 It's hard to keep track of it all.

01:35:27.020 Julie Kelly with us right now talking January 6th.

01:35:29.340 And one of the things that I've seen that's maybe one of the most...

01:35:33.220 This whole thing is really opening up, okay?

01:35:39.320 So this is one of the most concerns.

01:35:40.920 We've heard that they're going to start going after people who maybe were around, maybe didn't do anything, just had somehow set foot somewhere in the crowd that day.

01:35:57.800 There has been talk about that.

01:35:59.320 There has been conversation about what might happen, who might they go after next.

01:36:06.760 And there's something even more frightening, I think, that has devastating effect and impact today, not just on that actual day itself.

01:36:18.220 And I'll talk about that in a second.

01:36:19.580 But I first want to ask you about what have you heard about how they plan to start opening up?

01:36:25.020 Because they want to bolster, from what I've seen and heard, maybe you've written about this too, is that they want to bolster these numbers and inflate them as much as they can the closer they get to the election here.

01:36:36.760 They absolutely do.

01:36:38.060 And look, they've already been arresting people who never went inside the building.

01:36:41.380 The very first article I wrote, entitled America's Political Prisoners, back in February of 2021, was the arrest of Coy Griffin, the founder of Cowboys for Trump.

01:36:52.800 He was arrested and denied release at request of Joe Biden's new DOJ.

01:36:58.920 And he was charged with two misdemeanors.

01:37:01.340 And he, I believe, had a permit, like many others did, to demonstrate on Capitol grounds during the joint session.

01:37:10.700 So he was one of the very first who was charged.

01:37:13.340 He never went inside the building.

01:37:14.760 Neither did someone like Brandon Strzok.

01:37:16.840 They tried to destroy him as well.

01:37:18.680 He was also one of the first arrested.

01:37:20.460 Matthew Graves, the D.C. U.S. attorney appointed by Joe Biden, whose wife, by the way, going back to spouses, runs an extremely influential $100 million nonprofit in Washington.

01:37:33.360 This nonprofit and she are very involved in the effort to remove Clarence Thomas from the Supreme Court.

01:37:39.840 Matthew Graves told The Washington Post last year that he expected the total caseload to reach, extend beyond 2,000 individuals.

01:37:50.680 At the time, it was less than half of that.

01:37:53.460 Matthew Graves recently bragged in an update for the Capitol siege investigation as he rebranded it.

01:38:00.140 1,200 and counting defendants.

01:38:02.680 You have new arrests announced every week, including this week.

01:38:06.600 So they are desperately trying to reach that caseload, but also to keep this in the news as we approach Donald Trump's March 4th trial for January 6th.

01:38:16.100 We're not going to let this die down.

01:38:17.540 And, Julie, maybe we could talk more with you in the future.

01:38:20.060 Obviously, Julie underscore Kelly, too, over on X, but where else can folks find out how to stay in touch with you?

01:38:27.380 Sure.

01:38:27.800 All my reporting can be found at my substack declassified with Julie Kelly.

01:38:31.520 I've also done extensive work at Real Clear Investigations, so people can check out my articles there as well.

01:38:38.640 Julie Kelly, thank you so much for being here with you.

01:38:41.400 Appreciate your work.

01:38:42.660 God bless.

01:38:43.320 Justin, thanks for having me on YouTube.

01:38:45.780 Glenn Beck covering this along with The Blaze.

01:38:48.960 You know, this is a story, and they've got details and video that continues to come out that proves some of these folks, these Capitol Police officers,

01:38:57.160 in fact, wasn't very powerful and perjured, lied on the stand.

01:39:01.680 These reports are going to be significant.

01:39:04.900 They're going to be critical, and The Blaze will continue to cover it all.

01:39:08.120 As far as I'm concerned, I've been hearing all those reports and look forward to hearing more in the future.

01:39:12.520 We continue to cover that, and a story you probably won't hear much about.

01:39:16.360 He's in Ireland now.

01:39:18.340 In fact, 15 minutes away from where the riots took place in Dublin.

01:39:20.940 What happened, and how is the media covering and twisting everything that happened overnight last night?

01:39:27.220 It dovetails into our immigration crisis here.

01:39:30.100 That next.

01:39:32.280 The Glenn Beck Program.

01:39:35.840 Who's there for the families left behind when a service member or first responder dies or is catastrophically injured in the line of duty?

01:39:43.060 Who's helping our nation's homeless veterans?

01:39:45.260 And who's helping our nation keep its vow to never forget 9-11?

01:39:49.120 I'll tell you who.

01:39:50.400 The Tunnel to Towers Foundation.

01:39:52.280 The foundation's In the Line of Duty programs honor our nation's heroes and their family.

01:39:57.180 That includes its Gold Star, Fallen First Responder, Smart Home, and Homeless Veterans programs.

01:40:02.620 The foundation's Never Forget programs engage people in 9-11 remembrance events all across the country.

01:40:08.200 Over 80 runs, walks, and climbs a year.

01:40:10.740 Dozens of golf outings and barbecues.

01:40:12.860 And the Tunnel to Towers 9-11 Institute is helping educate kids in kindergarten through 12th grade about our nation's darkest day.

01:40:20.420 More than 95 cents of every dollar you donate to Tunnel to Towers goes to its programs.

01:40:25.500 And the charity keeps its word and honors our nation's greatest heroes.

01:40:28.600 Will you donate $11 a month to Tunnel to Towers?

01:40:31.320 Tunnel to Towers at T2T.org.

01:40:33.700 That's T, the number 2, T, dot org.

01:40:35.940 It is wild to watch, and it's kind of reminiscent to me of the BLM Antifa moments.

01:41:03.280 To see your city burn or to see any riot or anything take place in your own neighborhood, it is jarring.

01:41:11.540 I saw that in my city in 2020.

01:41:15.940 Living in Grand Rapids at the time when the city burned in some ways.

01:41:21.000 There were riots, windows smashed.

01:41:24.120 It was an incredible moment.

01:41:25.520 I was on the air during the entire thing.

01:41:28.000 And covering it, it was in a city that I originally moved to because it felt like Disneyland clean.

01:41:36.720 It was just that nice.

01:41:37.980 It was that good.

01:41:40.300 The people in West Michigan have their stuff together, and it's a beautiful thing.

01:41:48.520 We saw it all fall apart in the summer of 2020.

01:41:51.700 So I can't imagine what is happening in Ireland, particularly Dublin, as we hear the story and see the videos coming out of what's buses on fire, buildings on fire.

01:42:07.760 One of the green buses, the footage that's floating around on the Internet right now is completely engulfed in flames.

01:42:17.600 The words out spray-painted on the bus.

01:42:20.480 But the back and forth about what happened and who's responsible in some of this and where it all started breaks down to a story that is even more concerning.

01:42:32.920 The media is spending this today as far-right activists have gone off the deep end.

01:42:46.220 Well, where this originally started, where about five people, I think three of them were children, stabbed outside of a school.

01:42:57.300 So now, apparently, if you are against, I saw this online, that's good.

01:43:06.400 Let's keep in track here.

01:43:08.140 If you're against children or anyone being stabbed, you are now far-right.

01:43:15.640 If you are against pornography, being taught in schools, indoctrination, you are now far-right.

01:43:25.460 If you are a feminist and you believe that women should be competing against women, you want to protect them, you're now far-right.

01:43:33.920 These are crazy.

01:43:35.020 I don't think we've ever seen times like this.

01:43:37.380 But that's the case.

01:43:38.640 People are seeing through it, and they are fighting back.

01:43:42.140 On the line with us now is Jonathan Dunn, a good friend.

01:43:46.400 In fact, someone who used to work for Glenn and the Blaze here.

01:43:48.960 He joins us now to talk about, in fact, just 15 minutes away from where he is, what has happened over the course of the last few days, and where things settle now.

01:44:00.540 Jonathan, thank you, my brother, for being here with us today.

01:44:03.700 Top of the morning, brother.

01:44:04.620 Thanks for having me on, and I hope you all had a happy Thanksgiving.

01:44:08.700 It has been.

01:44:09.640 I don't know if it was as eventful as the last couple of days for you.

01:44:13.520 Oh, man.

01:44:17.200 So break this down.

01:44:18.480 This is what happens when I come back to Ireland for a visit.

01:44:21.000 Yeah, you've been here in America for a while now and went back to take care of your mom and have been spending some time with family there.

01:44:30.000 But can you break it?

01:44:30.800 What I just said, can you cover it and clean it up?

01:44:33.520 What I just said, can you break down what has happened and where things stand right now?

01:44:36.780 Yeah, so what happens, here are the facts of the story, and then we can get into the underlying principles, which no one will ever want to discuss, because we don't want to have a discussion today.

01:44:48.260 So the fact of the matter is that 1.30 local time yesterday, there was a school, got discharged.

01:44:53.680 What we know is there was a person hanging around acting very suspicious, had a knife on him, and proceeded to stab three young kids.

01:45:01.040 One is critical and is still, as right now, is still in critical care and is touch and go.

01:45:06.600 One is a carer and one is the person involved.

01:45:09.820 Information is very sketchy coming out from the police.

01:45:13.160 They're not following any other lines of inquiry.

01:45:15.140 They know exactly who did it.

01:45:16.820 We do know it's an immigrant, but because of the tensions that that brings up, they're not releasing a whole lot of information.

01:45:24.960 Then last night, basically, the city went into a bit of craziness, and buses were, and the Lewis, which is like a train station, a train that runs on the ground, was basically destroyed and put on fire, and buildings were looted.

01:45:41.200 Buildings were destroyed, and the estimates are coming already in a tens of millions of dollars worth of damage.

01:45:47.040 So they're the facts of the story.

01:45:50.400 What we have is an underlying tension that is not going to go away until we start having hard conversations with people.

01:46:01.040 What you have to understand is, our America is very different in the terms of political.

01:46:05.960 There is a far right in Ireland.

01:46:08.020 There is a far right in Europe, and you should be afraid of them, because you have to understand their ideology.

01:46:14.160 Likewise, there's a far left.

01:46:15.720 And what you have to understand about these two factions is they hate each other, but they have so much in common.

01:46:23.160 Their principles are about government.

01:46:26.020 And what they disagree on is this.

01:46:28.560 They all believe, if you line down the far left and the far right, it's like, you know, the far left in America and some moderate Republicans.

01:46:35.820 They both believe in big governments.

01:46:37.580 They both believe in high taxation.

01:46:39.120 They both believe in high regulations.

01:46:40.720 They both believe in child care and health care.

01:46:43.460 Or any government policy you believe, they want us.

01:46:47.000 Where they firmly disagree, where it boils to hatred and willing to kill each other, is the far left are communists.

01:46:54.420 And the far right are national socialists.

01:46:58.800 So what one wants is the far left believes in an international type of socialism, where everyone comes in.

01:47:04.240 We should just accept everyone, whether you're an Irish person, an English person, because there is no Irish person. 0.98

01:47:08.480 It's workers of the world unite.

01:47:10.100 You cannot have a national identity.

01:47:12.860 You cannot have anything like that.

01:47:14.900 So it's for everyone.

01:47:16.140 So I'm Irish.

01:47:17.000 You're American.

01:47:17.700 You're Scottish.

01:47:18.380 You're English.

01:47:18.960 You're Lithuanian.

01:47:20.140 You're African. 1.00

01:47:20.820 It doesn't matter.

01:47:22.000 Everyone is entitled, because it's the workers of the world unites.

01:47:25.700 The far right says no.

01:47:27.640 It's about the national system.

01:47:29.700 I'm Irish.

01:47:31.080 And while I believe in universal health care and universal school system and all these different plans, I believe they are for Irish people only. 1.00

01:47:38.180 Or if I'm living in England, I believe they're for English people only. 1.00

01:47:42.080 And what you have is the far left and the far right both want chaos.

01:47:46.300 They want this.

01:47:47.360 They want the destruction of the cities.

01:47:49.640 They want the destruction of civilization.

01:47:52.580 And the sad thing is the far left are winning.

01:47:55.100 Because if you say something like that, let me give you an example.

01:47:57.080 My mom.

01:47:57.900 My mom is not very political at all.

01:48:00.100 She follows the news, but she's not left or right.

01:48:02.760 She probably doesn't know too much about the difference of it.

01:48:05.940 But one thing I can tell you about my mom that would paint her as a far right person is she is one of the most proudest Irish people at Yulmese.

01:48:13.700 She loves Ireland.

01:48:14.780 She's like, you know, I'm Irish and, you know, I love the tricolour and I'm proud to be Irish and I'm so glad I was born here.

01:48:21.280 That is radical thought right now to the far left.

01:48:24.540 You know, if you say anything about all these immigrants that have come in to Ireland over the last year, 18 months, you've had the influx of the illegal immigration.

01:48:32.880 You've had the influx of the Ukrainian immigration.

01:48:34.640 You now have an influx probably potentially from Palestine and Israel.

01:48:38.200 If you dare say, hey, should we question who comes into the country? 0.83

01:48:42.960 Oh, what are you, racist and xenophobic?

01:48:45.940 Oh, well, we'll take 10,000, but I say we should only take 5,000 people. 0.95

01:48:50.060 Oh, there you go.

01:48:50.860 Do you hear the racist undertones under there?

01:48:54.120 You cannot have a conversation.

01:48:56.680 And this is something we are going to have to deal with.

01:48:59.680 Because what you're seeing right now is the total destruction of society. 0.99

01:49:03.780 You said it perfectly beautifully in the intro, where you cannot have an opinion where, you know, if you dare say in Ireland, you know, a man has a penis and a girl has a vagina. 0.99

01:49:13.300 In Ireland, that's called a hate crime. 1.00

01:49:17.320 A hate crime.

01:49:19.860 That's simple biological fact, but it's a hate crime.

01:49:23.340 They're trying to destroy us.

01:49:24.960 And what we have to do is ignore the far left, ignore the far right, and unite as people based on a set of principles.

01:49:32.420 And that is where America comes in. 0.61

01:49:35.580 Because I hate being the person that always points to America, but it's true. 0.99

01:49:39.780 You're the only country, and thank God it's my homeland.

01:49:43.100 So I'm not just pointing it on you.

01:49:44.600 I'm doing this myself, where I'm saying, we have to understand why America made the world better.

01:49:51.120 And it's not because of America and because of rah-rah and the people. 1.00

01:49:54.420 It's because of a set of values.

01:49:56.680 What you're seeing is there is no foundational stone in the world.

01:50:00.660 Everything is up for grabs.

01:50:02.280 There's chaos.

01:50:03.760 If I may quote Jordan Peterson, what we need is a bit of order and structure.

01:50:08.300 And the only order and structure that ever came in the history of the world was Christianity and the founding principles of America.

01:50:15.020 Jonathan Dunn is with us right now.

01:50:20.660 He's a good friend.

01:50:21.740 And this conversation, Jonathan, I, you know, it's funny because we could talk about this.

01:50:30.280 We could go in-depth, and you and I could probably spend hours talking about it.

01:50:35.960 I don't, obviously don't have the time to do that, but you are an immigrant here in America.

01:50:43.180 You're seeing this up close and personally.

01:50:46.100 You've seen the process.

01:50:47.280 You've seen how it's played out for you and how it's playing for some right now are just walking across the border.

01:50:53.320 I want to talk about that, and I want to dig in a little bit further and touch on the principles, the things that are at stake here.

01:51:00.560 What really is the issue?

01:51:02.420 How do we fix these problems, these challenges that we're dealing with right now?

01:51:08.080 But I've got to take a quick break.

01:51:09.580 So if you're going to hang out, if you could, just I know we're – there's a long-distance phone call here overseas.

01:51:16.280 Jonathan is in Ireland as we speak.

01:51:19.560 He's near Dublin there.

01:51:20.860 We're just 15 minutes away from him is where these riots took place.

01:51:24.700 And I think, as I watch it, it could be a prelude, a preview.

01:51:30.740 It's certainly a warning of things that could come here in America. 0.95

01:51:34.900 And as he just mentioned, there's a lot of folks who want to see just that.

01:51:39.020 They want the chaos.

01:51:40.160 They want the division.

01:51:41.840 They want to see it all crumble down around us because then they can remake it into their own image.

01:51:48.060 What do you think Build Back Better is all about anyway?

01:51:51.300 More after this, Justin Barkley, in for Glenn Beck today on the Glenn Beck Program.

01:51:57.880 Join the conversation.

01:52:00.140 888-727-BECK.

01:52:02.760 The Glenn Beck Program.

01:52:15.340 What are you looking for when you walk down the meat aisle at the grocery store?

01:52:18.920 You're looking for some kind of real good meat that you can feed your family, right?

01:52:23.260 You want something raised in America and you're looking for something close to expiring because that's the only way you can get a good price?

01:52:29.360 If you are in this situation, what you put on your table matters.

01:52:34.060 And that's why you should get your meat from good ranchers because you're going to cover all of those things.

01:52:38.580 85% of the grass-fed beef is imported from overseas but not with good ranchers.

01:52:42.900 They source all of their high-quality beef and chicken from local farms and ranches and from every box ordered.

01:52:48.820 Good Ranchers donates 10 meals to Americans in need.

01:52:51.760 That's over a million meals so far.

01:52:54.120 So do good while you eat good.

01:52:55.760 Don't settle for less than the best meats and don't settle for meat that's been raised overseas. 0.99

01:53:00.140 Go to goodranchers.com and use my promo code BECK for $25 off any box.

01:53:04.940 Do some serious good for yourself, your family, and others by having American meat delivered to your door.

01:53:10.040 Or goodranchers.com.

01:53:11.580 Use the promo code BECK for $25 off at goodranchers.com.

01:53:22.500 Our good Irish friend Jonathan Dunn joins us right now from Dublin.

01:53:28.200 That area where the riots took place yesterday and the story behind it.

01:53:32.640 We've been talking about that and I think it is a prelude of certainly a warning of things that could come here in America 0.91

01:53:39.020 as we are being pushed further and further to the brink every day.

01:53:42.940 We're talking about why that matters.

01:53:44.860 First, I wanted to ask you.

01:53:46.520 I'm going to get into principles and things like that.

01:53:48.400 But first, I wanted to ask you, Jonathan, what the process has been like.

01:53:51.000 You've been trying to come here for years.

01:53:52.520 Finally, you had a chance to come here and work that immigration process.

01:53:56.660 But you're ultimately seeing, as you spent years trying to get here, millions pouring across the border.

01:54:02.500 And every day, there's more and more.

01:54:06.560 How is that to watch that?

01:54:08.440 I just can't imagine.

01:54:10.920 Oh, it's...

01:54:12.720 If you want to do a poor me for like 10 seconds, it's a really big system.

01:54:17.520 You know, it cost me $5,000, $6,000, $7,000.

01:54:22.000 I couldn't work for a year.

01:54:23.520 I had to go through all immigration questions, basically answer every type of question known to man about my background, you know, my work experience and stuff like that.

01:54:32.760 And it's an invasion of privacy.

01:54:34.420 But for me, it's worth it because America is worth it.

01:54:37.200 And I am so thankful.

01:54:38.260 Wait, wait, wait, wait.

01:54:39.360 This is why we need this process.

01:54:42.880 Because you are the person who needs to come to America. 1.00

01:54:46.220 America, not somebody who just wants to come here for a free ride or even worse, but you're the kind of person who needs to be in this country because you love it.

01:54:56.680 Mm-hmm.

01:54:57.200 I do, and I'll die for this country.

01:54:59.100 I'm so thankful every day that I get to call America home.

01:55:03.580 You know, I'm back in Ireland and everyone's saying, welcome home, and that's great, and I appreciate that.

01:55:07.260 But my home is Oklahoma, America.

01:55:09.240 I will go down with this ship, and I will do everything I can to stand for the values that America made exceptional because I'm seeing the chaos.

01:55:18.220 You know, I'm seeing it in Ireland.

01:55:19.260 I'm seeing it in our homeland.

01:55:21.340 We're not immune or above this.

01:55:23.800 This could happen anywhere.

01:55:25.400 And you're seeing the far left become more and more radical. 0.51

01:55:28.320 And if you dare disagree with them, you're a xenophobia or a homophobia or a racist.

01:55:32.780 And what we need to do is stand up. 0.96

01:55:34.560 But we just can't stand up and hit back because then if everyone hits back, all we get is black eyes, everyone.

01:55:40.740 What we need to do is stand up, and America is the only country that can say, we're going to stand up, but this is what we're going to stand for.

01:55:47.100 We're going to stand for the Constitution.

01:55:48.960 We're going to stand for federalism.

01:55:50.440 We're going to stand for the individual.

01:55:53.120 And do you know what else we're going to do?

01:55:55.220 And it's because it's become a bit of cliche.

01:55:57.500 But we're going to be proud to be an American.

01:55:59.760 And I would encourage you, if there's any people overseas listening, be like my mom.

01:56:04.580 Be proud to be Irish.

01:56:06.220 Be proud to be English.

01:56:07.540 Because if you are, it makes it that bit harder for them to destroy you because that is what they want.

01:56:12.980 They just want to see you as a shell, as a clump of beings, as nothing more than a part of a collective.

01:56:19.260 The American experience is about the individual.

01:56:22.260 I will stand with anyone who stands for the Bill of Rights.

01:56:25.440 I will stand with anyone who believes in free markets.

01:56:28.180 Because here's the thing, and visiting Ireland has really shown how bad things are.

01:56:33.200 The economy is crazy.

01:56:34.520 Gas is true to roof.

01:56:35.740 Food prices are true to roof.

01:56:37.380 And just the overall optimism for the future.

01:56:41.200 America's bad right now.

01:56:42.240 We have a horrifically bad president.

01:56:44.540 A president who barely knows his own name at any point.

01:56:47.240 But you know, as bad as America has it, we still have it that much better than the rest of the world.

01:56:52.580 And I think that is the motivation thing we need to get back to and start getting to a set of principles and start looking optimistically.

01:57:00.140 Because there is no set of values or principles that can compete with the American family principles.

01:57:06.320 We change the world once, and we will do it again.

01:57:09.440 I can hear you talk about the greatness of this country all day long.

01:57:12.580 I know folks might want to hear that, too.

01:57:14.060 I know you had a podcast at once.

01:57:16.220 Where can folks follow you and find you online?

01:57:19.480 If you look at Freedom's Disciple on Facebook or Twitter, you'll find me.

01:57:22.940 And I'll be making some big news over the next couple of weeks as well.

01:57:25.880 Keep an eye on it.

01:57:26.820 Thank you, my brother.

01:57:27.700 Wishing you the best.

01:57:28.620 Appreciate you.

01:57:29.120 And praying for you and all the folks there.

01:57:32.400 The hostage is released today.

01:57:33.900 About 25 of them in Israel so far.

01:57:37.860 None of them among the 25 Americans.

01:57:42.300 That story continuing to develop.

01:57:45.400 And, of course, we'll have the latest for you.

01:57:47.680 The Glenn Beck Program.

01:57:48.500 It's always a pleasure filling in for Glenn.

01:57:50.300 Love this audience.

01:57:52.320 Justin Barkley.

01:57:53.160 You can follow me everywhere at Mr. Justin Barkley or JustinBarkley.com.
