00:00:00.000 We've got no room to compromise
00:00:14.580 We've got to stand together, it's the course of life
00:00:20.320 Stand up, stand up, hold the line
00:00:25.640 It's a new day I'm trying to raise
00:00:32.940 What you're about to hear is the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment.
00:00:41.320 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
00:00:46.940 Hello America and welcome to the Glenn Beck Program.
00:00:50.020 A lot of people were very upset on the left.
00:00:53.720 How, I mean, why would Ron DeSantis, he just, it's a joke, it's ridiculous that he would go on Twitter and announce his presidency.
00:01:04.340 Really? Really?
00:01:06.200 Um, I have a pretty good comparison that I'd like to pull out of the history archives
00:01:13.580 and just show you exactly how smart Ron DeSantis was on Twitter last night.
00:01:19.620 We'll do that in 60 seconds.
00:01:21.240 First, let me tell you about pre-born.
00:01:23.980 You and I have to speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves.
00:01:28.060 And that is, that's seemingly beginning to be a very large number.
00:01:32.900 Um, it's a good description, of course, for the unborn.
00:01:36.440 And that's where pre-born comes in.
00:01:38.260 I don't think there is anything that we could do that would garner God's protection and, uh, God's forgiveness on us more than saving his children.
00:01:51.320 And that doesn't mean just the babies.
00:01:53.180 That means the mothers as well and loving the mothers.
00:01:56.280 Because of your generosity, pre-born's network of clinics has rescued over 200,000 babies by introducing their mothers through ultrasounds.
00:02:06.240 Pre-born receives no government funding.
00:02:09.140 Uh, they are completely dependent on you and me.
00:02:11.760 And it's 28 bucks for an ultrasound.
00:02:14.980 They offer them to these women who are considering abortion.
00:02:18.780 They offer them for free.
00:02:20.660 It's about a, I think it's about an 80% chance that mom changes her mind.
00:02:25.880 That's amazing.
00:02:27.000 And it is life-saving work.
00:02:30.440 And it goes on after the birth as well.
00:02:33.040 They take care of mom and the baby.
00:02:35.640 This is the work that we should all be involved in.
00:02:38.560 Pre-born.com slash Beck.
00:02:40.540 You can go there and find out more about it.
00:02:42.400 You could also make a donation.
00:02:44.500 If you would, $28 could save a baby.
00:02:47.800 Make a donation now.
00:02:49.040 Pre-born.com slash Beck.
00:02:51.560 Or hit the keyword baby at pound 250.
00:02:54.960 Pound 250 keyword baby.
00:02:57.680 Sponsored by Pre-born.
00:03:01.360 Hello, Stu.
00:03:02.460 How are you?
00:03:03.140 Glenn, how are you?
00:03:03.980 Oh, my gosh.
00:03:07.280 I love technology.
00:03:09.340 Yeah.
00:03:09.780 I love technology.
00:03:11.220 Anyone who tried to do a show throughout the pandemic remembers times like this.
00:03:16.560 The gold old pandemic technology where everyone was on Zoom calls and they would crash all the time.
00:03:21.180 Yeah, yeah.
00:03:21.880 Ron DeSantis got a little taste of that.
00:03:23.340 Yeah, he did.
00:03:24.060 That was fun.
00:03:24.960 I got a little taste of it, too, because, you know, I don't have a phone.
00:03:28.160 I mean, I have a phone, but I never use it.
00:03:30.640 I had to go look for the phone last night because the platform is not available for iPads.
00:03:36.400 Really?
00:03:36.820 Yeah.
00:03:37.580 So I couldn't get it.
00:03:38.640 I had to go find my phone and then try to find platforms.
00:03:44.440 And I'm, look, I am not a spring cheeky.
00:03:48.580 Right.
00:03:48.980 We, you know, I started a tech company and I have no idea how to use this tech.
00:03:56.080 No, you do not.
00:03:57.060 No, you do not.
00:03:57.080 You do not.
00:03:57.920 And I wear it as a badge of honor, quite honestly, that I don't have a phone.
00:04:01.160 There was about 20 minutes there where it didn't seem like Elon Musk knew how to use it either.
00:04:04.980 Yeah, it was.
00:04:05.860 It was kind of really, really bad for DeSantis in a way.
00:04:10.320 I mean, I joke about it.
00:04:11.400 It's like, no one remembers this if DeSantis does well, right?
00:04:14.440 Like this is, you know, it's the same thing to remember this anyway.
00:04:17.860 Yeah.
00:04:18.180 They're going to remember him.
00:04:19.480 We have a five second attention span.
00:04:20.460 They're going to remember him as the first guy to ever use social media to announce a presidency
00:04:26.860 and go directly to the people and not to either a crowd covered by mainstream media
00:04:36.260 and take questions from those people on day one.
00:04:41.160 In a live event.
00:04:42.200 I mean, live.
00:04:43.380 There's not a lot of people who announce in an event where they take questions at all.
00:04:47.220 Right.
00:04:47.540 Right.
00:04:47.880 I mean, that's not usually what you do.
00:04:49.180 It's very, very planned.
00:04:50.620 You roll it out perfectly.
00:04:51.720 And that didn't happen last night.
00:04:53.060 You see the reason why that doesn't happen, right?
00:04:55.640 Yeah.
00:04:55.840 A 20 minute tech delay is one of the reasons why people don't do it that way.
00:04:59.960 But again, who cares at the end of the day?
00:05:02.280 It's a minor blip on the radar.
00:05:04.120 I mean, they had hundreds of millions of dollars poured into Obamacare and years to prepare.
00:05:12.900 And they launched the site and it didn't work for weeks.
00:05:15.380 Well, it's working as well.
00:05:16.300 No one remembers now.
00:05:16.800 It's working as well as the electric buses that schools are getting all over the country.
00:05:21.920 Exactly.
00:05:22.160 Okay, so let me just say this about DeSantis and what he just did.
00:05:28.760 I think this was a brilliant move.
00:05:33.460 Elon Musk is not a Republican.
00:05:38.100 I'm not even sure if he's a conservative, but he believes in the Bill of Rights, at least so far.
00:05:46.340 I mean, he describes himself as a moderate.
00:05:48.400 How many conservatives do you know that describe themselves as moderates?
00:05:52.580 Yeah.
00:05:53.000 Very few.
00:05:53.580 Very few.
00:05:54.720 And Elon Musk is exactly the kind of guy that you need to be able to expand the base.
00:06:03.200 You have to take the base from conservatives and get the independence and also get the youth.
00:06:12.160 Here is, do you remember what, let me pull this out of the history vault.
00:06:16.120 Do you remember what the genius move was by Bill Clinton?
00:06:24.740 Arsenio Hall?
00:06:26.060 Arsenio Hall.
00:06:27.000 Yes, I remember that.
00:06:27.980 Arsenio Hall and MTV.
00:06:30.700 And he was the first president to go on MTV.
00:06:33.900 He was asked about boxers or briefs.
00:06:36.460 Yeah.
00:06:36.660 And I remember at the time, we're like, you're asking the president that?
00:06:41.360 What?
00:06:42.660 And of course, the left loved it.
00:06:44.560 Oh, my gosh.
00:06:45.460 Why did they love it?
00:06:47.300 Because he was going to the new tech.
00:06:51.140 He was going to the younger base for the first time.
00:06:54.640 Bob Dole wasn't going on MTV.
00:06:56.560 He wasn't going on Arsenio Hall.
00:07:00.120 And he went on Arsenio Hall.
00:07:01.700 And what did he do?
00:07:02.300 He played his saxophone.
00:07:04.740 This is the Arsenio Hall or the MTV moment.
00:07:10.180 And it's a it's a conservative that is doing it.
00:07:14.540 It is a conservative that is getting rid of this.
00:07:18.780 This is the exact.
00:07:20.040 This is what conservatives should be.
00:07:24.460 Conservatives are supposed to be the guardians of all of the things in our society that are traditional and have value.
00:07:36.560 Progressives are the ones that are supposed to be looking towards the future.
00:07:40.300 OK.
00:07:41.580 You need both sides, because if you just jettison all of the things that are good in a society,
00:07:49.820 you get America 2023.
00:07:54.780 We are jettisoning everything that is good.
00:07:59.700 There's some things that should be thrown out.
00:08:02.120 Here is a conservative saying, you know, the mainstream media is not needed anymore.
00:08:09.080 I don't need to talk to both sides when it come to the media.
00:08:13.780 I'll talk directly to the people.
00:08:15.780 You know, he's the really, I think, the first politician that just ignores the mainstream media.
00:08:25.820 He's not trying to get in with anybody.
00:08:28.140 He doesn't you know, he's he's not like, oh, maybe this time the New York Times is going to be nice to me.
00:08:33.880 He's just like, screw you.
00:08:36.100 I don't need you.
00:08:38.780 That's a massive shift.
00:08:41.200 And if it works.
00:08:43.540 That is the end of the network system and the big media, because if if it if it works and he becomes the president of the United States.
00:08:54.180 I don't think he's calling on them.
00:08:58.060 It'd be nice.
00:08:59.180 Kick him out of the front row for once.
00:09:01.900 You know, it was interesting watching the coverage of this thing last night.
00:09:05.940 I mean, let me let me give you some of the just it's all snark.
00:09:09.400 This is just from the New York Times reporters.
00:09:11.220 Like, listen to some of these these points that they made during the Twitter spaces conversation.
00:09:16.000 DeSantis is a no on central bank digital digital currency for the Americans wondering about that.
00:09:21.460 That's Jonathan Wiseman.
00:09:24.060 A lot of Americans are wondering about that.
00:09:26.580 And like, I will admit, and I think it's true that the American people generally are not talking about a central bank digital currency.
00:09:34.760 No, but anyone who is informed.
00:09:37.420 Yeah.
00:09:37.680 And you know who is people who are definitely voting in the Republican primary.
00:09:42.360 Right.
00:09:42.720 That's who he's speaking to.
00:09:43.960 He wants people who might vote in the Republican primary.
00:09:47.460 Correct.
00:09:47.780 To know he's on top of these issues.
00:09:49.280 Right.
00:09:49.540 This whole audience here, Glenn Beck program, knows a lot about it.
00:09:52.900 You talk about it all the time.
00:09:53.960 And a lot of times this is where these stories start.
00:09:56.400 Right.
00:09:56.540 They start as something that, you know, you bring up and we talk about for a while and no one knows what it is.
00:10:01.580 I mean, Common Core, you know.
00:10:04.000 Common Core, which was nobody was talking about.
00:10:06.540 It's a conspiracy theory.
00:10:07.820 Oh, turns out to be true.
00:10:09.620 And you have ESG and the Great Reset.
00:10:14.060 It's a conspiracy theory.
00:10:15.440 It's not happening.
00:10:16.400 Oh, it's true.
00:10:17.100 It doesn't matter.
00:10:18.600 Done.
00:10:19.720 Everything over and over and over again.
00:10:22.220 And now they're doing it with cryptocurrency.
00:10:24.480 Yeah.
00:10:24.820 That was another one they talked about in here.
00:10:27.180 If you're wondering how this event is going, now they're talking about Bitcoin.
00:10:32.060 This is the coverage from New York Times reporters that are supposed to be telling you the facts about what's going on.
00:10:38.360 We could go on for hours here, Sachs says, in what is hopefully not a warning.
00:10:43.600 Oh, my gosh.
00:10:44.100 Gosh.
00:10:44.760 It's incredible.
00:10:45.760 Like, it was all, would not have had debanking on my DeSantis presidential campaign kickoff bingo card.
00:10:53.420 Like, what is this?
00:10:54.620 Is this coverage?
00:10:55.820 Dana Lash, a major gun rights activist, is speaking about the activist-guided financial institutions and ESG investing.
00:11:01.860 A little niche.
00:11:03.660 A little niche.
00:11:05.020 I mean, these are basically all in a row from these reporters.
00:11:11.260 I'm not even cherry-picking here.
00:11:13.060 DeSantis denounces the accreditation cartels, which I'm guessing is the first time that phrase has been used in a presidential announcement.
00:11:20.480 These are really important issues.
00:11:22.180 They're just mocking them.
00:11:23.800 I think half of them have no idea what they are.
00:11:27.120 This is the New York Times.
00:11:28.200 This is not some bunch of left-wing bloggers, supposedly, but you know what?
00:11:33.660 Maybe they are.
00:11:35.460 You know, I have to tell you, you're going to love the show.
00:11:39.540 If you're with Stu's mindset today, because we've apparently done some sort of Vulcan mind meld today, because we're on exactly the same page.
00:11:48.360 And I think there is time to revive the scientific method, and I'm going to take you through that.
00:11:58.220 It's really time to start using the scientific method, because you will see how wrong they are and why everything is falling apart now in America.
00:12:13.980 I also am going to go in quite deep next hour with the Hunter Biden.
00:12:22.920 Did you see the Hunter Biden whistleblower from Monday?
00:12:26.600 It's amazing.
00:12:27.360 I can't believe that's happening.
00:12:29.920 Yeah.
00:12:30.420 So this is a new whistleblower from the IRS.
00:12:34.340 CBS News, the evening news, did like three and a half minutes on it.
00:12:39.520 They haven't even mentioned Hunter Biden.
00:12:41.440 They did a three and a half minutes, and this guy, CBS presented him as credible, presented it as a big deal.
00:12:53.960 And it is it.
00:12:56.720 This could be the thing that makes all of it come undone, because this involves the DOJ.
00:13:03.840 The IRS is saying the whistleblower at the IRS said, I can't just couldn't live with myself anymore.
00:13:10.320 He said every time we would start doing our job, the DOJ would come in and say, you've got to do this.
00:13:18.520 And it would always fall in favor of the suspect.
00:13:22.240 He couldn't say it was Hunter Biden.
00:13:24.160 He said of the suspect that we were investigating every single time.
00:13:30.120 He said they finally he said I had a red line in in me and he said they crossed it.
00:13:37.040 And I said, I'm done.
00:13:39.340 I'm done.
00:13:40.820 This is corruption now.
00:13:44.560 Uh, and, uh, this, this thing could take the entire administration down.
00:13:50.900 You know, we said this before.
00:13:52.080 This is the type of weird thing.
00:13:54.440 Said it the first time.
00:13:55.040 Yeah.
00:13:55.260 It's the type of weird story that no one pays attention to when it happens, but could wind up blowing up an entire administration.
00:14:02.220 Because you know what?
00:14:03.520 We, we talked about the press conference that they had, uh, with the, the committee.
00:14:07.620 And it was like, okay, here's the flow chart and here's the banking records and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
00:14:13.520 Here's the easy thing.
00:14:14.520 You can summarize it for everybody and everybody understands it.
00:14:17.080 You don't fire people that are investigating your son.
00:14:20.900 Right.
00:14:21.540 It's so blatantly obvious.
00:14:24.400 Well, why?
00:14:25.900 He got away with it in, in Ukraine.
00:14:28.840 He got the, he got the prosecutor fired and everyone cheered.
00:14:34.500 I know, but this is, this is different.
00:14:37.460 The prosecutor in Ukraine, people don't understand.
00:14:39.420 This is a story where like, it's his own son.
00:14:42.740 He controls the people who were investigating him and he fired everyone responsible for it.
00:14:47.680 I mean, that is, it's so clear to everyone that that is wrong.
00:14:52.580 I know.
00:14:53.080 And it's not the worst thing he's ever done.
00:14:55.020 He's done much worse stuff than that, but it's so clear to everyone.
00:14:58.760 You can explain it in one sentence.
00:15:00.760 I mean, I bet they're scared of this one.
00:15:03.280 If, if it played out the way it seems like it did.
00:15:05.820 So, uh, Ron DeSantis is joining us in just a few minutes.
00:15:10.100 Uh, I want to talk to him about the economy.
00:15:12.440 I want to talk to him about the deep state and all of this stuff.
00:15:16.300 When I show you next hour, what is coming down the pike?
00:15:20.140 What the, the Democrats have coming against them?
00:15:27.060 Uh, it's shocking the corruption that is happening, uh, that we'll do next hour.
00:15:34.700 Ron DeSantis joins us in just a couple of minutes.
00:15:36.960 Stand by first.
00:15:38.640 Let me tell you about rough greens.
00:15:40.800 How often do you find yourself just going through the motions when it comes to feeding your dog?
00:15:44.580 Like bowl is empty, grab the old bag of kibble and just fill her up, right?
00:15:50.140 But is that healthy for your dog?
00:15:52.260 You can be buying really good kibble, but everything that is in a kibble bag has to be, uh, sterilized to the point to where it can sit on a grocery shelf for two years.
00:16:04.640 There ain't anything alive in that.
00:16:07.800 So rough greens put all, puts all of that stuff that's been cooked out back into your kibble food, rough greens, full of vitamins, minerals, probiotics, antioxidants.
00:16:18.240 Your dogs love it.
00:16:19.640 At least my dog does.
00:16:20.940 Everybody I know who has a dog who has tried this, they say the same thing.
00:16:24.460 My gosh, my dog just wolfs this stuff down.
00:16:27.300 It's not a dog food.
00:16:28.540 It's a supplement you put on your kibble food.
00:16:30.880 You'll get your first bag free.
00:16:32.860 All you pay for is shipping.
00:16:34.060 Just go to roughgreens, R-U-F-F-Greens dot com slash Beck or call 833-GLEN-33.
00:16:40.540 That's R-U-F-F-Greens dot com slash Beck.
00:16:43.840 Roughgreens dot com slash Beck.
00:16:45.740 833-GLEN-33.
00:16:48.200 Ten seconds.
00:16:49.100 Station ID.
00:16:49.600 Now, let's not kid ourselves if you were excited about Ron DeSantis yesterday.
00:17:09.080 He has a lot of work in front of him to get past Donald Trump in the primary.
00:17:15.780 Oh, yeah.
00:17:16.000 Every poll shows that he is way behind Donald Trump.
00:17:20.780 The polls aren't all that important right now.
00:17:23.580 I mean, he just announced yesterday and it's important to keep that in mind.
00:17:26.480 But Donald Trump has proven to be a very good campaigner, especially against Republicans.
00:17:33.360 Yeah.
00:17:33.700 And, you know, just fundamentally, the guy is the former president of the United States.
00:17:38.020 Yeah.
00:17:38.160 He enters this race as the overwhelming favorite.
00:17:42.580 Overwhelming.
00:17:43.780 I mean, he comes in with what's the floor for Donald Trump in a state?
00:17:47.960 Thirty five percent.
00:17:49.540 If you're starting at thirty five percent in a field of what is going to be probably twenty
00:17:56.200 people, you have a really good chance of winning.
00:17:59.900 Oh, yeah.
00:18:00.220 It's going to be really, really hard to defeat Donald Trump in this primary.
00:18:04.000 And if he loses, you know, he it's his to lose.
00:18:07.900 Let's put it that way.
00:18:08.640 I agree.
00:18:09.040 He can lose this thing.
00:18:10.560 But like if you were to say this, Glenn, if you were to do a draft pick here and pick
00:18:15.000 the best month of campaigning that Donald Trump ever put together, I would argue the first
00:18:20.340 pick of that draft is the last month of the twenty sixteen election cycle where he had
00:18:26.180 the the tape, the Access Hollywood tape.
00:18:29.340 And then he was like, holy crap, I better button myself up and not make any mistakes.
00:18:33.580 Agree.
00:18:33.840 And he that last month, he was solid and he won that election.
00:18:38.060 If he ran this primary like that month, he would have no chance of losing.
00:18:43.460 So this is what I'm saying.
00:18:44.400 It is his to lose.
00:18:47.260 He can easily lose it if he if he's sloppy, if he makes mistakes, if others are able to
00:18:53.200 cite his weaknesses, it would be hard for Ron DeSantis to overcome that.
00:18:58.980 But, you know, look, we know Donald Trump has not had every month like that.
00:19:02.860 And so he is vulnerable.
00:19:04.520 He can lose.
00:19:05.440 But man, he can't.
00:19:06.260 People, I think, look at this as like, oh, it's DeSantis versus Trump.
00:19:08.560 And it is in some ways because no one else seems to have a chance.
00:19:11.140 You remember what the Democrats did with Bernie Sanders?
00:19:13.720 You're saying they cleared the field.
00:19:16.100 They cleared the field.
00:19:18.620 Everybody off.
00:19:20.680 So they could get the candidate they wanted because they were bifurcating all of the vote.
00:19:27.020 And we're walking in with about 20 people and that could bifurcate.
00:19:32.600 It will bifurcate the vote.
00:19:34.600 Now, how long does that go on?
00:19:36.240 If you have people that are hanging on till the bitter end, you could you could hurt DeSantis.
00:19:45.560 Yeah.
00:19:45.840 You could hurt Trump.
00:19:46.920 And remember, the media cycle itself is a wholly owned subsidiary of Donald Trump.
00:19:52.900 He runs it.
00:19:53.980 Whatever he says is the media cycle.
00:19:56.680 If he says something controversial, Ron DeSantis will spend the rest of his day answering for whatever Donald Trump said.
00:20:04.380 Yeah.
00:20:04.620 It is all.
00:20:05.340 He controls this media cycle.
00:20:07.660 And that is such an incredible advantage.
00:20:11.080 So, I mean.
00:20:11.800 So right now.
00:20:12.820 It's going to be difficult for DeSantis.
00:20:13.940 The poll numbers stand at 56 Trump.
00:20:17.300 DeSantis 25.
00:20:18.560 However, if you go head to head with Biden, it shows a different story.
00:20:30.860 In the general election, Biden, I don't believe I just don't believe this.
00:20:36.000 But Biden still beats Trump 48 to 46.
00:20:39.980 Two percent point margin unchanged since the last time Quinnipiac did the poll.
00:20:45.680 Meanwhile, DeSantis narrowly edges out Biden 47 to 46 in the general.
00:20:52.220 And that is up again.
00:20:54.240 When you have a poll this early for a general election, there's very little value of it.
00:20:58.300 I will say this.
00:20:59.720 You know, DeSantis could go way up from that or way down from that.
00:21:02.860 That 48 number for Biden in a Trump Biden campaign is pretty solid.
00:21:08.380 It's not going to move much from 47, 48 percent.
00:21:11.380 Obviously, you can win when your opponent has 47 or 48 percent.
00:21:14.280 But the window is small.
00:21:16.200 DeSantis could do much better than that, but also could do much worse.
00:21:19.200 He hasn't been tested here.
00:21:20.340 We're about to see.
00:21:21.740 He's about to jump into that fire as he did last night.
00:21:24.240 And it's going to be an amazing next year of this as he jumps into our skillet.
00:21:29.400 There we go.

00:22:57.180 Welcome to the Glenn Beck program.
00:23:18.560 Governor Ron DeSantis from Florida announced yesterday he is formally announced that he is running for president of the United States.
00:23:27.620 And so it begins.
00:23:30.480 And it's going to be an interesting 18 months.
00:23:33.500 Welcome to the program, Governor DeSantis.
00:23:35.820 How are you, sir?
00:23:37.160 I'm doing great, Glenn.
00:23:38.380 Thanks for having me.
00:23:39.180 How are you?
00:23:39.700 I'm good.
00:23:40.300 I'm good.
00:23:41.500 Enjoyed it.
00:23:42.380 Not the first 20 minutes.
00:23:43.720 That must have been incredibly frustrating for you with the technical problems.
00:23:48.400 But it was the largest audience gathered on Twitter.
00:23:54.060 Yeah, I mean, I was just kind of sitting in Tallahassee.
00:23:57.220 Like, I didn't really know what was going on because they Twitter handled all of that.
00:24:00.600 And they were just getting so many people above and beyond what they've ever gotten that I think it kind of melted the servers that they were able to correct it.
00:24:09.880 And we were able to do an announcement that I think, you know, obviously I laid out the case at the beginning for five or six minutes.
00:24:17.580 But then we were able to talk about actual issues that people should care about.
00:24:22.840 And I think it's now up to eight or nine million people have viewed it across some of the platforms that have featured it.
00:24:30.260 And obviously, when Elon's involved, you get a lot of buzz out of it.
00:24:33.280 So we're getting huge feedback and raising money and doing all that, which is great.
00:24:38.300 We were talking earlier today, Stu and I, about this choice that you have always had this approach where you don't care what the New York Times says.
00:24:47.080 You're not sitting down trying to get, you know, a puff piece out of the New York Times.
00:24:50.960 You know you're not going to get one, so you just ignore them.
00:24:53.800 And I think that's really, really smart, but very different.
00:24:57.980 This, too, I think is going to be remembered as the Clinton MTV or Arsenio Hall program.
00:25:05.140 This is really smart to do.
00:25:07.500 Does this, is this a sign the end of the mainstream media going right straight to people?
00:25:16.180 Well, I think what Elon's done is he's opened up Twitter.
00:25:18.980 I mean, the social networks, when they first came on the scene, had a lot of potential because we could go around legacy media and we could converse with ourselves.
00:25:28.260 And that was a big threat to them.
00:25:29.960 And so they really helped lobby companies like Facebook to start censoring.
00:25:35.060 And then it got to the point where not only were they trying to enforce a narrative, the tech companies were colluding with federal agencies like the FBI and the CDC to censor and stifle dissent.
00:25:47.040 And so Elon, I think, has put his money where his mouth is, gotten one of those platforms and opened it up.
00:25:52.540 So I think open platforms are good for conservatives because it allows us to go around the filter.
00:25:59.340 But I do think we have a huge battle on our hands about tech censorship writ large.
00:26:04.440 What Elon's done is great.
00:26:05.620 But how many people are worth $250 billion or they could afford to just, you know, put $54 billion down to buy a social platform?
00:26:13.720 And so tech censorship, I think, is going to continue to be an issue.
00:26:18.320 I think we've not dealt with it in Florida.
00:26:20.140 We're going to do more as president, of course, to make sure that the First Amendment actually means something because you can't let the government subcontract out censorship to Silicon Valley and say you still have a First Amendment.
00:26:33.080 Okay, so let me talk to you about the government, FBI, DOJ, IRS, NSA, CIA, ATF, everything.
00:26:42.340 Even the Capitol Police now are an intelligence gathering agency.
00:26:47.760 How do you even run a campaign when you know the all of government approach to the last election?
00:26:57.760 How do you, how do you, if you win, how do you dismantle this?
00:27:03.600 Because it's, it's almost like a unplug it and plug it back in and reset it to factory settings.
00:27:10.400 I mean, it's cleaning house.
00:27:13.500 And I think that this is, this is a fundamental problem.
00:27:16.640 So we will look at like an example of weaponization, which is obviously many examples.
00:27:21.400 But that's kind of the end point.
00:27:23.100 Like, why are we here?
00:27:24.320 And the reason that we're here is because we have these agencies that have been detached from constitutional accountability.
00:27:31.880 There was never supposed to be a fourth branch of government.
00:27:34.940 But Congress has not held them accountable with the power of the purse or with legislating more precisely.
00:27:41.280 And presidents have not been willing to wield Article II power to discipline the bureaucracy.
00:27:47.200 So I think I'll come in and on day one, we'll be spitting nails.
00:27:51.180 I understand, and all your listeners should understand, that if we do everything right, if we're disciplined, if we're strong as anyone could be, it still takes a two-term project.
00:28:02.300 I think it takes eight years to be able to reconstitutionalize this government.
00:28:06.240 But the question it raises is, do we govern ourselves or do we not?
00:28:10.520 Because right now, the most significant issues tend not to be resolved by our elected representatives.
00:28:16.820 They're done by these bureaucrats and through these agencies.
00:28:20.940 And so it's really, I think, a crisis of self-government.
00:28:24.340 Now, what you have with lack of accountability, you just have a consolidation of power amongst people that all have the same worldview.
00:28:33.500 And so their worldview is different than our worldview.
00:28:36.000 And they view people like us as factions that they want to exert power over.
00:28:40.560 And so the weaponization, I think, flows from human nature.
00:28:44.100 So what would I do, you know, day one?
00:28:45.900 First of all, I already said, new FBI director, day one.
00:28:49.980 That is a no-brainer.
00:28:51.300 You've got to do that.
00:28:52.440 I'll have an attorney general that has a backbone, an attorney general that recognizes if you are doing your job properly, you are going to be pilloried by the Washington Post and the New York Times and CNN.
00:29:04.900 And so if that's not something that you're comfortable with, then don't even apply for this job.
00:29:10.500 Understand you're going into the lion's den.
00:29:12.960 These people do not want to give up this power willingly.
00:29:16.720 And so they're going to smear you.
00:29:17.880 They're going to attack you.
00:29:18.720 So I think getting the personnel right, if you can't do that, then it's just not going to work at all.
00:29:25.160 Second thing, I think, is you've got to be willing to use Article II authority to its fullest extent.
00:29:30.380 The idea that some FBI agent can collude with a tech company to censor like Hunter Biden, you should be firing these people.
00:29:39.780 You have the authority to do it.
00:29:41.380 Yes, it'll be contested.
00:29:43.140 They'll sue you.
00:29:44.420 But who gets the Article II power, the person that wins the electoral college or some middle managing bureaucrat in the IRS or the FBI?
00:29:54.280 So asserting that authority, making sure that you have political control over those agencies, that is a huge battle.
00:30:02.100 It's something you've got to be disciplined about.
00:30:04.080 It's something you've got to be strategic about.
00:30:06.460 And it's not something that anyone's really tried to do because, you know, these are tough fights.
00:30:11.340 I mean, it's like trench warfare.
00:30:13.160 And you've got to be ready on day one.
00:30:14.900 And incidentally, who's the attorney general?
00:30:18.000 Very important.
00:30:18.860 But it's also important who's in, you know, a step or two below that across all these agencies.
00:30:23.900 And I think you need to have thousands of people ready to go.
00:30:28.460 So are you thinking, you know, one of the things that really bothers me about the Republicans is the Democrats were gaming and putting everything into, you know, the Obama bill.
00:30:45.900 When he walked in, that thing was 2,000 pages long.
00:30:49.780 They had worked on that for years.
00:30:52.160 Are you assembling teams and talking about what to do?
00:30:56.340 And so you could just launch if you would win?
00:30:59.620 Absolutely.
00:31:00.360 And so, first of all, we're working with allied conservative organizations who are already collecting resumes from people around the country.
00:31:07.820 And I will have a message if I'm in, you know, if I'm in Nevada, I'm going to say, look, some of you who are in this audience, you may need to pick up your family and move to Washington, D.C.
00:31:17.700 for two, four, six years because you can't just recycle everybody from D.C.
00:31:22.540 It's not going to change if that's the case.
00:31:24.580 And so you really need to have most of these people descending on D.C. from outside the country.
00:31:30.100 What we're also going to do is I'll issue a directive to all these agencies that they need to reduce the footprint of their agencies in D.C.
00:31:38.980 by at least 50 percent.
00:31:40.600 Oh, my gosh.
00:31:41.000 Because I think what's happened is, you know, the growth, the government, the size of it is one thing, of course, but the consolidation of it in Washington, I think, has been totally toxic.
00:31:53.140 You know, you have a place in Washington, D.C.
00:31:55.420 It votes 95 percent Democrat.
00:31:58.800 I think Trump got four or five percent of the vote in 2020.
00:32:02.380 And so this is totally not represented, representative of the public as a whole.
00:32:07.240 And I think the founders would look at that, and I think they would say, like, that is a huge, huge problem.
00:32:12.760 So dispersing power out of D.C., yes, reducing the government overall, but whatever government you have, we want less consolidation in D.C., and I think that that will make a difference.
00:32:24.540 So, Governor, the one thing that Donald Trump will have going for him in spades is the economy.
00:32:29.720 People will trust him on the economy.
00:32:31.580 He's already done it once.
00:32:33.380 He's known as a businessman.
00:32:34.860 Man, what are you bringing to the table to this all-out war on the American dream?
00:32:43.280 Corporations have been weaponized, red tape, all of the stuff that's going on.
00:32:49.220 You'll have the Fed against you, the big banks.
00:32:53.040 How do you change the economy?
00:32:56.720 Well, look, I would just say push back a little bit.
00:32:59.260 I mean, I think he did great for three years, but when he turned the country over to Fauci in March of 2020, that destroyed millions of people's lives.
00:33:07.500 And in Florida, we were one of the few that stood up, cut against the grain, took incoming fire from media, bureaucracy, the left, even a lot of Republicans, had schools open, preserved businesses.
00:33:20.740 And so, Florida, since COVID, has outperformed virtually any state in the country when you look at all these significant metrics.
00:33:28.160 I mean, we're booming.
00:33:29.340 We've got people moving in here.
00:33:31.420 Wealth is coming in here.
00:33:33.160 And so, I think when people look back, you know, that 2020 year was not a good year for the country as a whole.
00:33:40.120 It was a situation where Florida started to stand alone.
00:33:45.020 So, I think that that's an important contrast.
00:33:47.200 Now, going forward, yes, you rip up what Biden's done on day one with things like energy.
00:33:52.620 They are trying to price middle-class people out of having a middle-class standard of living.
00:33:58.440 We're not going to force people to buy electric vehicles.
00:34:02.340 We're going to make sure that people have a choice to have affordable transportation.
00:34:06.480 We will absolutely reduce federal spending.
00:34:11.060 We're going to fight with the Congress on that.
00:34:12.920 I mean, I think the debt has gone up under both Republican and Democrat.
00:34:16.620 I mean, we act like it's just Biden, you know, went up $8 trillion, the debt under Trump as well.
00:34:21.660 And so, we've got to stop doing that.
00:34:24.000 That has absolutely driven the inflation since March of 2020 with all the borrowing and spending.
00:34:29.220 I also think we need to have the Federal Reserve focus on stable money and stop trying to be the economic central planner.
00:34:37.940 You look at how much money they've printed since COVID, of course you're going to get inflation when that happens.
00:34:43.560 So, you need a major overhaul with the Federal Reserve.
00:34:47.100 And then, yes, fighting woke capital.
00:34:50.400 Woke capital is absolutely bad for the average American because they're pursuing an ideological agenda
00:34:56.440 to achieve ideological left-wing goals that are going to make it harder for the average American family to make ends meet.
00:35:04.460 May I ask you a question?
00:35:06.640 First of all, we are doing sit-downs with each candidate.
00:35:11.100 You've already done one, but as governor, not as a candidate.
00:35:14.180 Will you sit down and just talk about your policies with me?
00:35:19.660 Oh, yeah, of course.
00:35:20.860 Absolutely.
00:35:21.260 Would you be for a debate or a roundtable hosted by, for instance, us that would not necessarily get the backing of the Republicans?
00:35:37.660 I think the Republican Party controls these debates so much that we keep going back to the mainstream media.
00:35:47.120 And I don't understand why.
00:35:48.140 You guys should absolutely do a debate, and the RNC should sanction it.
00:35:53.340 I mean, here's the thing, Glenn, with corporate media.
00:35:57.540 Some will say, because I say they shouldn't be involved in our process because they're hostile to us as Republicans.
00:36:04.700 They have a partisan agenda, which is fine.
00:36:06.800 It's a free country.
00:36:08.400 And people say, oh, well, you just don't want them to ask Republicans tough questions.
00:36:11.740 No, their gotcha questions are not tough questions.
00:36:14.780 Their questions are designed to further a narrative.
00:36:17.260 Their questions, though, are not illuminating to Republican primary voters because they're not one of us.
00:36:24.720 And so when you have people who live in kind of our world, you are going to be asking the tougher questions.
00:36:30.880 They're not going to be gotcha questions, but they're going to be substantive, and they're going to require candidates to actually go beneath a talking point to talk about their vision for the country on these various issues.
00:36:42.880 And so I think you guys should do it.
00:36:45.080 I'd love to be a part of it, but I absolutely think the RNC should sanction it because you've seen what happened in 2015 or 16 with some of those debates.
00:36:54.800 It was a mockery what these legacy media outs are doing.
00:36:59.260 And their whole goal is to try to make the Republican candidates look as ridiculous as possible.
00:37:07.120 They do not want us to be to look like, you know, we're serious people.
00:37:11.760 They want to be able to plow the field to get Biden reelected.
00:37:15.240 So we know that that's their agenda.
00:37:17.100 So why would you want to give them a platform to be able to be involved in our process?
00:37:22.420 I could tell you in Florida, we had four congressional seats that were open seats.
00:37:26.660 Republicans ended up winning and there were primaries in all of them.
00:37:29.240 We sanctioned debates with the state party and we had conservative journalists and moderators doing debates.
00:37:36.220 And guess what?
00:37:36.720 They were great, substantive debates.
00:37:38.500 And the issues that people actually care about in our party were discussed.
00:37:42.120 Well, I will tell you that as we took a stand for Harmeet Dillon, we didn't make any friends at the GOP national level.
00:37:49.780 But thank you so much for coming on.
00:37:52.880 Congratulations on the rollout yesterday.
00:37:55.600 We look forward to hearing more from you and all the best.
00:38:02.400 We'll definitely sit down with you.
00:38:04.200 And I'd love for all your folks out there, invest with us at RonDeSantis.com.

00:38:13.480 We'll go in on day one and we'll get all this done.
00:38:16.860 Very good.
00:38:17.680 Thank you very much, Governor.
00:38:19.240 God bless.
00:38:19.800 Thanks.
00:38:20.300 God bless.
00:38:21.020 All right.

00:40:50.900 Welcome to the Glenn Beck Program.
00:40:52.240 My just initial thoughts, rock solid.
00:40:56.780 Yeah.
00:40:56.980 This is a guy who deserves to be taken seriously and deserves to be in this conversation.
00:41:00.860 He does not avoid hard questions.
00:41:03.680 I loved his answer about the debates.
00:41:06.480 Ask not gotcha questions, but hard questions.
00:41:09.460 Yeah.
00:41:09.600 I think that's fantastic.
00:41:11.240 Yeah.
00:41:11.460 He's smart.
00:41:12.040 He knows these issues.
00:41:13.240 And look, his record in Florida deserves, you know, this type of attention.
00:41:18.480 This show went national because we were in Florida during the election, during the Hanging Chads.
00:41:24.820 Yeah.
00:41:25.660 And how much did he win that district?
00:41:30.040 Oh, I don't remember the district, but he won the state by what, 537 votes?
00:41:33.400 Oh, yeah, but I think in Palm Beach County, I think he creamed Chris.
00:41:38.960 Oh, you're talking about now with DeSantis.
00:41:40.880 I mean, yeah, he was a guy.
00:41:41.820 We started the show talking about Hanging Chads in Florida, and then DeSantis just won the state by 20 points.
00:41:46.820 That's notable.
00:41:48.480 The Glenn Beck Program.
00:41:49.740 We got no room to compromise.
00:42:10.860 We got to stand together.
00:42:12.660 It's going to survive.
00:42:13.740 Stand up, stand, and hold the line.
00:42:21.740 It's a new day, I'm tired to rise.
00:42:28.260 What you're about to hear is the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment.
00:42:34.400 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
00:42:37.540 From behind my cardboard microphone, welcome to the Glenn Beck Program.
00:42:47.640 My friends, not only on the Blaze Radio Network, the Premier Radio Network, but also, yes, on Twitter Spaces.
00:42:58.320 We've made it, gang.
00:42:59.580 We've made it, gang.
00:43:00.660 We have made it.
00:43:02.700 We're glad that you're listening.
00:43:04.660 I have some unusual stories to present, and I'd like to refresh everyone on the scientific method because there's some very bizarre stories.
00:43:22.060 And we go there in 60 seconds.
00:43:25.440 Summer is here.
00:43:26.500 That means your kids and grandkids are going to get out of school.
00:43:29.660 Long break.
00:43:30.740 Start the summer out right by getting them going on the Tuttle Twins books.
00:43:35.380 We love the Tuttle Twins books.
00:43:37.120 A lot of the people here at the Blaze.
00:43:38.700 Read them to their kids.
00:43:40.160 They are amazing supplements to what your kids are learning in school about their country, assuming they're going to a school where they're learning about their country.
00:43:48.480 I mean in a positive way.
00:43:50.260 If they're not, wow, these are going to be eye-opening books for your kids.
00:43:55.540 They will dispel the myths about this country your child is picking up at school.
00:43:59.900 So it is important to raise your kids to love, respect, and want to defend America and our Constitution, what it's meant to be.
00:44:08.940 In order to do that, they have to know about it.
00:44:11.780 Tuttle Twins can help with that.
00:44:13.080 The icing on the cake is they're going to have a great time reading them along the way.
00:44:16.620 Get the Tuttle Twins books, the bundle of 13 books.
00:44:20.660 You'll save 35% at tuttletwinsbeck.com.
00:44:23.940 That's tuttletwinsbeck.com.
00:44:25.780 You get the 13 books, including the latest 12 Rules Boot Camp, based on Jordan Peterson's book.
00:44:31.400 It's tuttletwinsbeck.com.
00:44:36.280 All right, Stu.
00:44:37.440 So I've got a few questions.
00:44:43.000 Speaking to CBS News, the IRS whistleblower revealed himself.
00:44:49.160 Now this just happened.
00:44:50.600 This is a new guy since Monday.
00:44:52.260 Has revealed himself as a supervisory special agent.
00:44:58.060 Gary Shapley.
00:45:00.180 He is part of the IRS's Criminal Investigations Department.
00:45:04.040 He is a 14-year veteran at the agency and currently oversees a 12-man team that specializes in international tax and financial crimes.
00:45:14.960 He told CBS News that he began documenting his concerns about the Hunter Biden investigation in June 2020, five months after being assigned the sensitive investigation.
00:45:28.240 There were multiple steps that kept being slow-walked.
00:45:32.340 They were just completely not done.
00:45:35.520 And it was happening at the direction of the Department of Justice.
00:45:39.340 When I took control of this particular investigation, I immediately saw deviations from the normal process.
00:45:47.480 It was way outside the norm of what I've experienced in the past.
00:45:51.860 So this is his first interview.
00:45:54.140 He sits down with CBS and they take him seriously and treat him seriously.
00:46:01.100 He said, each and every time, it seemed to always benefit the subject.
00:46:05.900 And I got to the point where that switch was turned on with me and I couldn't stay silent anymore.
00:46:13.080 So we now know we have the IRS, along with the Department of Justice, doing all kinds of things that they shouldn't be doing on the Hunter Biden front.
00:46:30.020 But it's not just Hunter Biden.
00:46:33.620 IRS investigation into Matt Taibbi.
00:46:38.160 Here's the latest on that.
00:46:40.880 On Wednesday, yesterday, the House Judiciary Committee sent a letter to the IRS commissioner demanding all documents and communications related to the agency's decision to launch an investigation into Matt Taibbi.
00:46:55.080 Now, who's Matt Taibbi?
00:46:57.300 Matt Taibbi is a journalist.
00:47:00.560 He's always been kind of a left kind of guy, wouldn't you say?
00:47:06.060 Yeah, I think that's fair.
00:47:07.680 And he has, you know, been red pilled and he's not a conservative.
00:47:13.360 He's just telling the truth.
00:47:15.480 And he's being a journalist.
00:47:17.600 He is the guy that really tried to make sense of the Twitter files.
00:47:26.940 He was one of the leaders on that.
00:47:29.360 According to the letter, the IRS's inquiry was initiated December 24th, 2022.
00:47:36.100 That is the same day that Taibbi released the report detailing the collusion between Twitter and the federal government.
00:47:45.740 Subtle, guys.
00:47:46.480 Yeah, very subtle.
00:47:47.280 Well, it was not only on the same day.
00:47:50.200 It was December 24th.
00:47:53.100 So it was Christmas Eve.
00:47:56.600 I don't know about you, but there's not a lot of work going on on Christmas Eve, but the IRS are busting their ass.
00:48:03.280 OK, December 24th.
00:48:06.600 And it was a Saturday.
00:48:09.000 So somebody was burning the midnight.
00:48:12.820 It might have been Bob Cratchit because he was afraid and he wanted the extra scuttle of coal from the IRS.
00:48:20.360 So the documents passed on to Twitter by the FBI led foreign influence task force.
00:48:25.440 Taibbi revealed Twitter was receiving content recommendations, blah, blah, blah.
00:48:30.180 Joe Biden and the energy company Burisma.
00:48:32.880 The report also showed that Twitter, along with Facebook and dozens of other tech-related firms, regularly attended FITF-led gatherings where companies often received an OGA briefing.
00:48:45.960 What is an OGA briefing?
00:48:48.420 That is a euphemism for intelligence services in general, in particular the CIA.
00:48:56.320 So the IRS has said, yes, we sent the letter on the 24th.
00:49:00.880 OK, and that was nine days after he filed his 2018 tax return.
00:49:08.220 But they said we called him over and over again to verify his return because it meant it met identity theft criteria and we couldn't process it.
00:49:21.160 But nine days after they get this return to them, nine days on Christmas Eve, on a Saturday, the IRS is like, we just can't wait any longer.
00:49:37.000 We just we can't do it.
00:49:38.040 We've got to process this because we're concerned about him.
00:49:41.720 This this this IRS form looks like it might have been identity theft.
00:49:45.640 So he says they never reached out to call them to call.
00:49:51.000 They said we did it twice and then we just had to send agents over.
00:49:56.580 These guys are bending over backwards.
00:49:59.440 It's really nice of them to spend all that that individual time on one person like that.
00:50:03.880 Nice. Now, the tactics in which they used apparently now we know to dig up any dirt they could find on Taibbi, the agent assigned from the IRS was instructed to perform an extensive investigation, which include using publicly available search engines, commercial investigative software, consumer affairs, LexisNexis and Google.
00:50:30.080 The documents provided to the committee also prepared to show the agency kept a dossier on Taibbi, including information such as his phone number, voter registration records, whether he had a concealed weapons permit and whether he had hunting or fishing licenses.
00:50:47.620 I don't know.
00:50:48.640 That seems like maybe they weren't concerned about identity fraud.
00:50:53.900 So you have now two cases of the IRS just today that I can report on.
00:51:03.440 Now, the FBI has just demanded answers from or sorry, the Republicans have just demanded answers from the FBI on the January 6th pipe bomb investigation.
00:51:18.680 Andy Biggs, Jim Jordan and Bill Posey wrote to the FBI and Director Wray saying we have been asking for an update on the pipe bomber.
00:51:32.420 We have witnesses or we have whistleblowers that are saying you ain't doing jack on this.
00:51:38.760 In fact, the whistleblower testimony on the investigation on the unusual character, including one disclosure that revealed that the Washington field office asked the FBI field offices to canvas all confidential human source nationwide for information about the individual that might have put the pipe bomb out.
00:52:02.180 A year after they laid the bomb.
00:52:08.700 Now, you would think that this would be something they were all on top of, but they waited a year.
00:52:16.720 Still no motive, still nothing.
00:52:20.760 A former FBI assistant director said they should have yielded some results by this point.
00:52:28.200 But gosh darn it, they just can't find it.
00:52:34.380 Now, couple it with this last story.
00:52:38.160 And tell me you've seen anything like these stories so far.
00:52:43.840 OK, I've seen I've seen people in the Tea Party targeted during the Obama administration.
00:52:49.800 Before that, I had never seen it before in my life.
00:52:52.240 OK, so I had seen that.
00:52:54.840 Got it.
00:52:55.560 I have not seen the Justice Department go in and stop an investigation by the IRS.
00:53:03.260 That's totally new.
00:53:06.780 I have not seen anything like what the FBI has been doing lately and the pipe bomb and the January 6th.
00:53:14.620 And they can't find the people who are burning churches.
00:53:17.160 But gosh darn it, they can find those peoples that have violated the FACE Act.
00:53:21.760 Now, this one.
00:53:26.540 The alleged neo-Nazi accused of ramming a rented U-Haul truck into the White House security barriers is being held in federal jail pending a detention hearing next week.
00:53:40.720 Sai Kandula, 19, not an American citizen.
00:53:48.200 I believe from India.
00:53:51.880 He appeared in federal court yesterday.
00:53:55.060 He is from Missouri.
00:53:58.300 If you don't know this story, it is bizarre.
00:54:03.760 He slammed a box truck.
00:54:06.540 Now, a box truck, it was either a Ryder or U-Haul and clearly marked it's a moving truck.
00:54:12.680 Now, when I think of somebody going after a federal building in a moving truck, especially with the information that the FBI knows that 60,000 tons of ammonium nitrate have just disappeared from the railway.
00:54:32.100 Have you heard that story?
00:54:35.280 60,000 tons.
00:54:37.380 It's on the loose.
00:54:38.160 And somebody pulls a giant U-Haul van and is trying to break through the fences of the White House and get close to the White House.
00:54:48.560 As a police officer, investigator, Secret Service, what is your first thought?
00:54:56.980 There's fertilizer in the back of that U-Haul truck.
00:55:01.680 Okay.
00:55:02.020 When I saw the U-Haul truck, that was the first thing I thought of was Timothy McVeigh.
00:55:06.760 Okay.
00:55:07.200 And I know that 60,000 tons of that fertilizer has just gone missing.
00:55:15.080 Okay.
00:55:16.680 So he slammed it into the barriers along Lafayette Square.
00:55:21.580 He allegedly has planned this attack for six months.
00:55:28.480 We know because of his writing, it has been released, can't get anything from Nashville, but this guy, he had to get to the White House, seize power, and be put in charge of the nation.
00:55:39.400 So immediately, I think the guy has mental problems.
00:55:42.540 He was accused of threatening, accused of threatening to kill the president if that's what I have to do.
00:55:52.220 He praised Hitler and Nazism.
00:55:56.020 He is not a white guy.
00:55:58.500 He was originally charged with threatening to kill, kidnap, or inflict harm on the president, vice president, or family members, as well as an assault with a dangerous weapon, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, trespassing, and destruction of federal property.
00:56:18.360 That's what he was charged with.
00:56:22.360 Does all of that make sense so far?
00:56:25.700 Okay.
00:56:26.160 I can't place the Nazi flag.
00:56:28.280 And the other thing that bothered me was the fact that if I am in charge of the White House and I have access to all of this information, if Glenn Beck knows that 60,000 tons of ammonium nitrate is missing,
00:56:47.600 and I see that Ryder truck or that U-Haul truck, I immediately say, get the hell away from that truck, back everybody out, back, get everyone out of Lafayette Square.
00:57:00.640 Now, we have seen pictures of what happens next because they only backed people up a little bit.
00:57:10.620 And this is where it really gets hinky.
00:57:14.120 We'll talk about it in 60 seconds.
00:57:16.900 First, when you think Mike Lindell is done, he goes on, comes up with something else better.
00:57:22.420 I am wearing his slippers.
00:57:24.800 I have, I bought a pair that look like moccasins because I think I can, I think I can get away with it.
00:57:31.440 You can pull it off?
00:57:31.900 I can pull, I can pull off wearing slippers all the time.
00:57:35.500 These things are so comfortable, so comfortable.
00:57:40.140 If you haven't tried them, you need to.
00:57:42.900 Now, they not only are great and everything else, they usually go for, I don't know, a lot of bucks.
00:57:49.880 But he's got, he's got them on sale.
00:57:52.480 I think they're still on sale.
00:57:54.280 I know he's going for the, you know, the towel set, which I used this morning.

00:58:27.020 Do it now.
00:58:27.920 Mypillow.com.
00:58:29.580 10 seconds.
00:58:30.400 Station ID.
00:58:30.840 So my first question is, the park police that are guarding Lafayette Square and the Secret Service, the White House, everybody involved in protecting the White House.
00:58:51.140 They see this truck, they got a guy who's pulled out a Nazi flag out of his backpack, they put him to the ground, then they display the Nazi flag.
00:59:01.660 Never seen that before.
00:59:02.880 They lay it out nicely on the ground because they've only backed the people up a little bit, so people are taking pictures of it.
00:59:10.180 Then, what do you think would be done with that truck?
00:59:17.740 I would think you would call the bomb squad and you would say, get to the White House, we have a truck, there may be a bomb in it.
00:59:29.480 And you would have video of that little robot coming to open that door, right?
00:59:34.800 And you probably wouldn't have video except from the robot because you would have moved people out at least a block away.
00:59:43.040 They didn't do that.
00:59:44.360 Instead, they just open up the door and then they start rifling through stuff and taking stuff out and putting it out almost like you do when you, you know, you've confiscated drugs so the media can come in and take pictures of it.
00:59:59.960 They lay it out.
01:00:01.540 I've never seen that before.
01:00:03.500 Never seen that before.
01:00:04.880 Okay, so we either have out of control police that are working for the safety of our president who should not be there because what the hell are you doing?
01:00:19.140 Why are you up?
01:00:20.180 Where was the bomb squad?
01:00:23.100 But then it gets really weird.
01:00:26.280 Yesterday, the DOJ takes his charges, remember, charged with threatening to kill, kidnap or inflict harm on a president, vice president or family member, as well as assault with a dangerous weapon, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, trespassing and destruction of federal property.
01:00:48.760 He planned it for six months.
01:00:53.880 They downgraded his federal charges to a single count of destruction of federal property.
01:01:05.360 Can somebody help me with that?
01:01:06.800 They have been trying to put people who are trying to who are extremists, white nationalists, they say, extremists.
01:01:16.600 Here's a guy.
01:01:17.280 He's not white, but he has a Nazi flag.
01:01:20.240 He loves Hitler.
01:01:21.780 He said he's going to kill the president.
01:01:25.320 He actually takes a truck and tries to get it close to the White House.
01:01:30.140 And you're only charging him.
01:01:32.920 Didn't you put grandma in prison for the rest of her life for parading?
01:01:37.000 You're going to charge him with destruction of property?
01:01:43.640 Now, I'm not alleging anything because it could just be this is a POC thing.
01:01:51.680 Oh, he's a person of color.
01:01:53.160 He's a minority.
01:01:54.460 He shouldn't be charged.
01:01:56.060 I don't know.
01:01:58.100 It could be that everybody in Washington is on drugs.
01:02:03.580 There's zombie robots.
01:02:05.400 I don't know.
01:02:07.480 But this isn't right.
01:02:09.880 Something is wrong.
01:02:11.600 And I think all of these stories tie into the same thing.
01:02:16.200 The same thing.
01:02:17.780 You cannot have a justice system and Capitol Police who have been weaponized, who had this guy planning for six months to kill the president.
01:02:31.580 And they let him go on a destruction of property crime when you're putting everyone in jail that you can find claiming they're a white supremacist.
01:02:47.220 And you can't have it both ways.
01:02:50.580 What the hell is going on?
01:02:54.860 I hope to have Jim Jordan or Andy Biggs on with us soon to help us answer some of these questions or at least hear the questions that they are asking about it.
01:03:12.140 Things are, I think, about to come completely undone.
01:03:20.020 Stand by.
01:03:20.940 The Glenn Beck Program.
01:03:28.700 I'm going to teach the scientific method next.
01:03:33.420 It's very complex.
01:03:35.240 Do that next.
01:03:36.160 Show you how to look at the news.
01:03:37.700 Real estate agents, I trust.
01:03:39.300 This may come as a shock to you.
01:03:40.560 I'm not an expert on everything, but I am a doctor.
01:03:43.420 For the love of Pete, Jim, I'm a doctor.
01:03:47.160 There are some areas of my life I am completely clueless about, and one of those used to be how to buy and sell homes.
01:03:53.660 No idea.
01:03:55.020 You look at a bus board or a bus bench, and you're like, that real estate ad says they're the best in the city.
01:04:03.900 I got to call them.
01:04:06.360 Well, that's not what you do.
01:04:08.100 You actually have to have somebody who has a real plan to sell your home, who has a website that is really trafficked, so they already have built up demand.
01:04:18.340 So when your house goes up on that website, there are people looking for a house like yours already.
01:04:24.380 Best practices are what we look for for agents that we can tell you about.
01:04:29.900 Realestateagentsitrust.com.
01:04:31.180 The name says it all.
01:04:33.820 Realestateagentsitrust.com.
01:04:35.140 We think they're the best of the very best.
01:04:37.340 If you're looking to move, buy, sell, realestateagentsitrust.com.
01:04:43.360 And it's blazetv.com slash Glenn.

01:05:07.340 So the job of a conservative is to jettison the things that don't work and save the things that do work.
01:05:21.260 And we tend to be conservative.
01:05:24.140 Let's not be hasty.
01:05:25.740 Let's not move too fast.
01:05:27.160 It requires a balance between a conservative and a liberal, not a progressive.
01:05:33.760 Progressives are some entirely different thing.
01:05:37.760 A liberal is somebody who is a little more, hey, let's push the envelope here.
01:05:44.220 Let's go.
01:05:44.560 You need both sides to be able to thrive as a human, as a company, as a country.
01:05:53.780 They're two wings of a bird.
01:05:56.300 If it only has one wing, it will not fly.
01:05:59.900 Okay?
01:06:00.180 So let's conserve something.
01:06:04.600 It's already been destroyed, but let's see if we can bring it back.
01:06:08.500 And it is called the scientific method.
01:06:12.040 Now, it's kind of a new concept.
01:06:16.740 It just started in the 1600s.
01:06:19.400 And it looks for empirical evidence.
01:06:23.180 It looks for things that are true.
01:06:26.780 Well, whose truth?
01:06:27.780 Well, this is how we find out the truth.
01:06:30.900 This is a procedure that consists in systematic observation, measurement, and experiment, and
01:06:43.040 then the formulation of a hypothesis.
01:06:48.220 So I think Glenn is too fat.
01:06:53.700 That's my hypothesis.
01:06:55.420 He's very unhealthy.
01:06:58.700 That's my hypothesis.
01:07:01.140 All right.
01:07:02.320 Glenn, let me measure how tall you are.
01:07:06.760 Now step on the scale.
01:07:08.460 Holy mother.
01:07:10.380 I think my hypothesis is correct.
01:07:16.540 Glenn, get on that treadmill.
01:07:19.060 45 seconds into it.
01:07:22.340 My God, man, it's a shock you're even alive.
01:07:26.940 My hypothesis is correct.
01:07:30.560 My hypothesis also, he's not only fat, out of shape, but he's also a male.
01:07:35.340 Glenn, pull down your pants.
01:07:37.640 Jeez.
01:07:38.480 Pull him up, please, quickly.
01:07:40.560 He's a male.
01:07:41.300 Now, that's how the scientific method works.
01:07:46.260 Now, if something says, you know, I step on the scale and I'm filled with helium and I'm like 112 pounds,
01:07:58.260 then the scientist goes, holy cow, that doesn't match.
01:08:04.100 My hypothesis is that he's fat and overweight, but he's, he looks overweight, but he weighs 112 pounds.
01:08:13.860 The guy looks like he's 450 pounds.
01:08:16.700 This is how it works.
01:08:19.620 And when it comes back that way, then you have to change your hypothesis.
01:08:25.440 Okay.
01:08:26.000 Otherwise, if you keep going with all of the facts, disproving your hypothesis, you're not scientific.
01:08:36.460 You, you, you don't have any brains.
01:08:38.780 You, you know what you are?
01:08:39.940 You're not part of a cult or a religious cult because you are denying the scientific fact.
01:08:49.820 All right.
01:08:51.080 So let's go through some of this.
01:08:54.600 Using the scientific method.
01:08:57.440 Let's see who's lying to us.
01:09:01.220 Hillary Clinton has come out and said, ultra mega Florida isn't safe for people of color and LGBT.
01:09:09.940 LGBTQ plus even Disney.
01:09:14.620 Okay.
01:09:15.220 Well, that's quite a charge.
01:09:16.280 And I would like to know if it's not safe for black people, then I am really upset about it.
01:09:21.620 So let's start gathering some evidence.
01:09:24.360 Her hypothesis is Florida is not safe for people of color.
01:09:29.440 Great.
01:09:30.020 Let's look at some of the facts.
01:09:32.120 The head of the NAACP has a home there.
01:09:36.260 Okay, well, now, wait a minute.
01:09:40.520 Maybe he's not there and he just bought a home when it was safe.
01:09:45.060 Okay.
01:09:46.140 The stats show that Florida is the leading state for black businesses and black entrepreneurs.
01:09:56.620 Well, that's weird.
01:10:02.760 Here's another one that they're banning black history.
01:10:06.340 That's why it's so unsafe.
01:10:07.720 They're banning black history.
01:10:11.380 No, they're going after things like the 1619 project, which by its own admission is not history.
01:10:21.680 It's a reimagining of history.
01:10:25.200 So, so far, her hypothesis is not going well.
01:10:31.720 Well, they're, they just, they just banned another book.
01:10:38.380 Amanda Gorman's poem that was used at Biden's inauguration has been banned in a Florida school.
01:10:45.280 Associated Press, LA Times, USA Today, MSNBC, Rolling Stone, Politico.
01:10:49.600 Is that true?
01:10:52.620 No.
01:10:53.480 A parent filed a complaint about the Hill We Climb and it's, and the school K through eight in Miami Lakes took action in response to that complaint.
01:11:05.980 What did they do?
01:11:06.760 Well, they got together, not with some crazy parent, but with teachers, teachers and counselors and went and looked at the book and they reclassified it and said, you know what?
01:11:22.940 It's for middle school.
01:11:24.200 It shouldn't be for elementary.
01:11:25.300 And the book was moved from one part of the library to another part of the library.
01:11:31.260 So, which is telling you the truth?
01:11:36.540 Which, which one is sticking to a false hypothesis that the evidence shows is not true?
01:11:45.600 This has to be done on absolutely everything.
01:11:51.300 Here's the story for you today.
01:11:53.140 Major Journal retracts a study on socially contagious transgenderism among kids.
01:12:02.800 Now, there was a study done on the rapid onset gender dysphoria.
01:12:09.860 That is a hypothesis.
01:12:11.680 The hypothesis there is, we think that girls going from gender dysphoria of 0.5% a year later having it at 30%, we should look into because there's a rapid onset of gender dysphoria mainly affecting little girls.
01:12:40.100 Why?
01:12:41.680 So, they did a study.
01:12:42.760 They talked to 1,655 possible cases from parents.
01:12:50.100 And these parents went to the doctor and their kids are either in transition or not, whatever.
01:12:57.640 But what they found with these parents was the parents were concerned about their children, concerned enough to take a non-brief survey about the issues.
01:13:10.140 And find out what they thought was going on and their experience with this.
01:13:16.740 Well, they found out a lot that it looks to be social media that is pushing a lot of this.
01:13:26.540 That is captivating and changing our children in a really bad way.
01:13:31.760 So, the paper found evidence that youth experiencing rapid onset of gender dysphoria were involved in transgender social media groups and peer groups.
01:13:43.220 It also found youth with mental health problems were more likely to have socially and medically transition than those without.
01:13:51.240 But this one study showed the rapid onset of gender dysphoria is real and it's connected to social media.
01:14:04.440 It was published in a very credible magazine or, you know, a journal.
01:14:17.940 It had been peer reviewed.
01:14:20.680 Once it's published, you get an explosion of people who are on the other side and saying that that is not true.
01:14:30.280 They go and say, we will never publish anything and we will tell everyone who you are, you bigots, if you don't retract and apologize.
01:14:42.580 They did.
01:14:43.860 Now, the way the scientific method works is you look at all of the evidence.
01:14:54.000 Here's one piece.
01:14:56.380 This is stopped now by someone who says, you can't even look at that.
01:15:02.000 They don't go to disprove it.
01:15:03.720 They say, take it and burn it.
01:15:06.580 Which?
01:15:11.300 Hmm.
01:15:11.860 Gavin Newsom says that the target CEO is going to come for blacks and Asians and Jews and women are the next victim of a systemic attack by white radicals.
01:15:34.320 These are extremists in our community.
01:15:37.980 Now, let's there's this hypothesis.
01:15:39.800 The people that are protesting are the extremists in our society.
01:15:46.720 OK, I know my wife.
01:15:49.420 She is pretty even keeled.
01:15:52.200 Otherwise, I'd be dead by now.
01:15:55.980 She's very even keeled.
01:15:57.580 She's not an extremist.
01:15:59.600 And she shops at Target.
01:16:01.580 I know a lot of her friends.
01:16:02.720 They shop at Target and they were all horrified that satanic transgender crap was being sold right at the front.
01:16:14.060 You know where all the Halloween candy is when it's Halloween.
01:16:16.540 For a month, Target makes this transgender, LGBTQ, I2 plus, whatever, all of that stuff right at the front, including girls swimsuits made for men so they can tuck it.
01:16:33.880 Now, are the people who say, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
01:16:40.920 This is not something as a society we should be.
01:16:45.960 Look, if you want to buy a swimsuit, I'm sure you're an adult.
01:16:48.560 You can go find a swimsuit with the tuck it pocket in it.
01:16:51.060 We do not need this in front of the store of of Target.
01:16:56.500 And we're not we're not doing it.
01:16:59.200 Your name, by the way, is Target.
01:17:01.100 So don't talk to me about being dangerous with language.
01:17:04.120 We're not saying, you know, we're going to burn your store.
01:17:08.180 We're saying we're just not going to shop there anymore.
01:17:10.940 Just not going to shop there.
01:17:12.460 Just like we don't drink light beer anymore, you know, Bud Light beer anymore.
01:17:15.620 Now, the other extremist is saying the other side is saying these are dangerous extremists that doesn't fit in the bucket.
01:17:28.460 You have to dismiss the evidence of who is saying this.
01:17:33.800 They say it's good for business, but we know they lost share.
01:17:37.780 They lost money on the stock market here just recently, like like three percent, and they're losing customers.
01:17:46.760 So how is this association with the transgender Satanist?
01:17:52.240 How is this good for business?
01:17:57.000 Well, I have a hypothesis.
01:17:59.380 It is good for business.
01:18:01.440 But see, if you only measure the things that are obvious, you may not be able to see the full picture.
01:18:12.820 How is this good for business?
01:18:15.740 Well, who owns Target?
01:18:19.920 Who are the major shareholders?
01:18:23.300 Here are the top 10 holders of Target Corporation stock.
01:18:28.580 Number one, Vanguard, 9%.
01:18:33.840 BlackRock, 9%.
01:18:36.920 State Street, 8%.
01:18:40.260 Vanguard Total Stock Market Index Fund, 3%.
01:18:46.180 Wells Fargo, 2.5%.
01:18:49.220 Bank of America, 2.5%.
01:18:52.100 Another Vanguard fund with another 2.5%.
01:18:56.680 It is good for business.
01:18:59.820 These are all the people that are voting with their shares ESG.
01:19:09.180 And if you have these people owning your company, of course you're going to do that.
01:19:15.920 And you're going to say it's good for business in the long term because they've already made the decision where the American people and the people of the world, where they're mentally supposed to be on issues like this.
01:19:31.680 And it's just a matter of time until we get all of these bigots to accept it.
01:19:37.220 By the way, Ali Stuckey is going to be on with me about an hour to talk about this.
01:19:45.020 This boycott, if it stops, you will fail.
01:19:49.780 If it continues and it becomes Bud Light, oh my gosh, you're on the verge of a massive win.
01:19:57.480 More in a minute.
01:20:00.980 Feeling trapped by the amount of credit card debt that you're facing each month?
01:20:04.760 If you're tired of making the minimum payments, only to see the needle barely moving on the actual balance, a little stressful.
01:20:11.240 If you own your own home, there may be a smarter way for you to tackle it.
01:20:17.440 This is not right for everybody, but consider unlocking the power of home ownership.
01:20:22.620 See what using $10,000, if that's what your credit cards are maxed out at or whatever it is.
01:20:28.020 See if you can use some of the equity that you have in your home to pay that debt off once and for all.
01:20:33.880 You can get from 15 or 20 or 25% interest to 6% interest.
01:20:39.720 Plus, you could end up being able to delay two months of mortgage payments and close in as little as 10 days.

01:20:58.440 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
01:21:09.720 I lost my dad, gosh, almost nine years ago now.
01:21:13.780 And, you know, Father's Day is coming up.
01:21:15.440 And I think about him a lot.
01:21:16.700 You know, he's a blue-collar guy.
01:21:18.460 You know, when he worked on cars.
01:21:20.440 And he would bring me, when I was little, to the store where he worked.
01:21:23.680 And I'd hang out in the office and, you know, do whatever I was doing.
01:21:26.980 And I just remember, you remember the smell of that room.
01:21:30.240 And every time I go back to get my car fixed somewhere and I go to get through tires or something,
01:21:34.660 I think that same smell kind of takes me back to that place back in those days.
01:21:39.380 My dad was an American Giant.
01:21:41.160 He worked hard to make sure that I was taken care of.
01:21:43.680 And he took pride in his work.

01:22:40.380 So about a week or so ago, I pick up a book and start reading it.
01:22:44.940 It's called How to Save the West.
01:22:47.120 And I just, I'm fascinated by it.
01:22:50.300 I'm listening to the first chapter.
01:22:51.340 I'm like, holy cow, this guy is brilliant.
01:22:54.460 And I keep reading it, and I'm about halfway through, and I come into a meeting, and I said, we got to get Spencer Clavin on How to Save the West.
01:23:05.980 It's really brilliant.
01:23:07.000 And one of my producers said, oh, I love him.
01:23:09.700 And I said, really?
01:23:10.300 What else has he written, or how do you know him?
01:23:12.020 And she said, it's Andrew Clavin's son.
01:23:18.280 Andrew, amazing job of raising this boy.
01:23:22.880 The logic that he demonstrates in How to Save the West, he's on in just about five minutes.
01:23:32.700 You're going to love this.
01:23:34.700 How to Save the West, it's deep, but really good.
01:23:42.820 The Glenn Beck Program.
01:23:44.240 We've got no room to compromise.
01:24:04.280 We've got to stand together, it's the course of mine.
01:24:10.340 Stand up, stand, hold the line.
01:24:15.200 It's a new day I'm trying to raise.
01:24:21.140 What you're about to hear is the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment.
01:24:29.040 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
01:24:33.900 Stu and I talk about all the time how we know names, but we're both so freaked out about names,
01:24:40.640 getting it wrong, forgetting, whatever, that we just don't do it.
01:24:44.440 We just, we're like, here's a person.
01:24:47.840 What's their name?
01:24:48.840 I don't know.
01:24:49.420 Ask him.
01:24:50.000 I don't know.
01:24:51.620 And I think a lot of people are like that.
01:24:54.400 George Washington always felt disadvantaged and was always really weird around people like Thomas Jefferson,
01:25:03.520 who were formally educated and, you know, had gone to university and everything else.
01:25:09.820 Washington was a brilliant man, but he always felt inferior in a room and it bothered him a lot.
01:25:15.000 So, uh, I am about to step into a room with one of the smartest guys I've run into.
01:25:23.900 I, I had no idea that his father was Andrew Clavin, a very good friend.
01:25:31.240 I had, I didn't even, I, when I looked at the name, Spencer Clavin, I, it didn't even register with me.
01:25:36.760 And I'm, I just pick up this book.
01:25:39.380 Um, it was recommended.
01:25:41.220 And so I'm like, yeah, that sounds good.
01:25:43.760 The American, uh, or how to save the West, how to save the West.
01:25:49.440 I've read a lot of these books and it's like, yeah, yeah, I got it.
01:25:52.300 I got it.
01:25:52.780 I got it.
01:25:53.540 This thing is brilliant.
01:25:56.000 Absolutely brilliant.
01:25:56.920 And I come in about halfway through the book and I, I come in and I said to my producers,
01:26:02.360 we got to get Spencer Clavin on.
01:26:05.300 And one of my producers says, oh man, he is great.
01:26:09.560 So glad if you read his book.
01:26:10.900 And I said, yeah.
01:26:11.880 And, uh, she said, uh, uh, you know who his dad is, right?
01:26:17.820 And I'm like, no, it's like Clavin.
01:26:22.140 I'm like, you gotta be kidding me.
01:26:23.800 So I'm a little, I'm just, this could go awry.
01:26:28.700 Still, you may have to help me out.
01:26:29.760 Cause the guy's brilliant, uh, a little intimidating, but his book is so great and so easy to read
01:26:37.460 and spot on.
01:26:38.980 I'm excited for him to share it with you in 60 seconds.
01:26:42.960 Love working with companies that not only provide the highest level of service, but also
01:26:46.860 are on the same page as the Republic.
01:26:49.440 It's becoming increasingly rare, but one of my favorite companies is Patriot Mobile.
01:26:55.700 Their goal isn't just to give you a cheaper, better experience with a cell phone company,
01:27:02.220 which they do, but they also stand with you in defense of our liberties and our values.
01:27:08.240 Patriot Mobile.
01:27:09.400 They're the only American Christian conservative wireless provider.
01:27:13.340 They offer dependable nationwide service on all three major networks.
01:27:17.540 So you're going to get the best possible service in your area, but they aren't simultaneously
01:27:21.720 helping, you know, abort babies in the back.
01:27:25.180 Here's the thing.
01:27:26.280 Patriot Mobile.
01:27:27.160 You switch over now.
01:27:28.900 They're going to make it really easy to switch.
01:27:31.460 Uh, it will, you will save you money.
01:27:33.860 You're, you're getting the same coverage cause they're on the same towers as the big three.
01:27:38.260 So switch and join them in the fight to save, save the Republic.
01:27:44.500 Ask about their coverage guarantee while you're there, by the way, PatriotMobile.com slash

01:28:00.020 Spencer, how are you, sir?
01:28:02.500 Glenn, I'm doing so well.
01:28:04.180 It's, uh, it's great to be here.
01:28:05.340 I was listening to you talk about me before the break.
01:28:07.840 I was thinking, who's this guy he's talking about?
01:28:11.140 Terrifying.
01:28:12.040 I promise I'm not that scary.
01:28:13.580 I know we've met before, haven't we?
01:28:16.160 We met at your dad's house, dad and mom's house.
01:28:19.120 That's right.
01:28:19.760 Yeah.
01:28:19.880 That's right.
01:28:20.600 Uh, years ago.
01:28:21.720 And, and I remember thinking, boy, these parents of this man, they are amazing.
01:28:29.640 And now reading your book, I have to tell you, I, I love your father.
01:28:35.040 I love him to death.
01:28:36.720 He has got to be just beaming with what you have written.
01:28:42.900 This is brilliant.
01:28:44.140 Spencer really is.
01:28:45.800 I'm, I'm, I'm very touched by that.
01:28:47.680 Thank you.
01:28:47.980 I was extremely lucky in both of my parents, my mom and my dad, my father, of course, disavows
01:28:53.540 all ownership over me.
01:28:54.880 And, uh, we'd like to joke that we're not related to one another, but no, no, I learned
01:29:00.080 a great deal of what I know from him.
01:29:02.540 And in part, I wrote this book, um, out of the, the love that he instilled in me of, of
01:29:07.880 great literature and of Western sense.
01:29:09.740 So, so let's, let's talk about it.
01:29:11.940 Um, you break up the saving of the West into, uh, five different categories, the crisis of
01:29:20.120 reality, the crisis of body, the crisis of meaning, the crisis of religion and the crisis
01:29:25.500 of regime.
01:29:26.780 You start with, uh, reality and, uh, it's just, it's so spot on.
01:29:34.020 Can you take us there first?
01:29:36.400 Absolutely.
01:29:37.080 Yeah.
01:29:37.280 Let me say a little bit for a second about what I mean by the word crisis.
01:29:40.900 Uh, cause I think that's one of the most overused words in the world.
01:29:44.640 You know, you wake up every morning and there's a supply chain crisis and a COVID crisis and any
01:29:49.640 number of other things.
01:29:50.440 And, you know, of course, many of those things are quite serious and troublesome, but when
01:29:55.460 I use the word crisis, I'm drawing on this, uh, Greek idea, which is where the word comes
01:30:00.640 from.
01:30:00.960 The Greek verb krino means to judge or to make a decision.
01:30:04.620 And so a crisis, a crisis is a time for choosing.
01:30:08.700 It's a moment of being presented with two fundamentally unreconcilable ways of looking at the world.
01:30:15.540 And so let me hang out just a second.
01:30:17.680 Let me just say to the audience, the whole book is like that and it's fantastic.
01:30:22.760 Anyway, go ahead.
01:30:24.780 That's, uh, here I am.
01:30:26.900 This is my jam.
01:30:27.620 No, I, yeah, absolutely.
01:30:30.320 I mean, you know, this, once you start to see this, the reason that the book is, is written
01:30:35.200 this way is that once you start to see this, you understand that underneath the kind of daily
01:30:39.760 news cycle stories that we're constantly inundated with, they all feel kind of confusing and disorienting.
01:30:45.380 Um, but that's because we, we haven't really connected ourselves to the deeper questions
01:30:49.680 that are at stake, uh, behind some of these things.
01:30:52.100 You know, you hear about things like the metaverse and virtual reality, which is how the book
01:30:56.240 starts.
01:30:56.980 Or you, you hear about, you know, all this new kind of tech and the strange things that
01:31:01.180 are happening.
01:31:01.640 And, um, and what this stuff is really doing is it's forcing us to grapple with some of
01:31:06.200 the most fundamental questions that humankind has ever wrestled with.
01:31:10.060 And weirdly, that's kind of good news because it means we're not alone.
01:31:14.580 It means that the, you know, the greatest minds that have ever lived have wrestled and
01:31:18.100 thought with this stuff.
01:31:19.000 We don't have to face it just based on what the CDC or the WF says tomorrow, or Dr.
01:31:24.300 Fauci comes up with five minutes ago.
01:31:26.080 We actually have resources for dealing with this.
01:31:28.440 And the very first question that we are up against when, whenever we start to think about
01:31:33.160 these profound questions is the crisis of reality.
01:31:35.380 And that's, is there anything that is absolutely true and absolutely false, no matter who says
01:31:40.880 otherwise?
01:31:41.720 Um, or is it all just kind of my truth, your truth, and that's sort of how we, how we feel
01:31:46.720 about it.
01:31:47.160 And this is one of the most ancient questions in philosophy.
01:31:49.240 It's how the book begins.
01:31:50.360 Because I think it's the first question you have to answer before you can proceed in any sort
01:31:53.880 of meaningful direction.
01:31:54.720 So can you, I mean, you lay out the case so well, can you give a two minute, uh, version
01:32:02.160 of reality and the collapse of reality and, and what we're really, we should be asking
01:32:09.680 ourselves?
01:32:10.700 Yeah, absolutely.
01:32:12.160 So from the very beginning of Western thought, there has been this temptation to say, well,
01:32:19.440 how can we really know anything that's true or false?
01:32:22.140 And the temptation is always that if you don't, you know, have to acknowledge reality, if
01:32:27.320 you don't have to say that a man is a man and as a woman is a woman, that, you know,
01:32:30.620 good is good and wrong is wrong.
01:32:32.460 Um, then you can do all sorts of things.
01:32:34.460 You can gain all sorts of power over the world by twisting and distorting reality.
01:32:39.260 But the thing that I argue in the book is there is no halfway house on this stuff.
01:32:43.980 People think that they can say, oh, well, it's just my truth and your truth when it comes
01:32:48.380 to, you know, morality, but I want to fight for social justice and I want to believe in
01:32:53.540 the good and the, and the virtuous.
01:32:55.020 Well, the thing about it is if you're talking about, if you want to do anything good or
01:32:59.200 virtuous, you have to believe there's such a thing as goodness and virtue.
01:33:02.700 And that means that there actually is truth.
01:33:04.940 We can know it.
01:33:05.960 And unless we believe that all we are is grappling for power with one another.
01:33:11.040 And that's what we're seeing right now.
01:33:12.880 So the crisis of meaning, we have lost meaning of words and of life.
01:33:19.740 Talk about that.
01:33:20.960 Yes, that's right.
01:33:22.400 Well, when you talk about meaning, you're saying that the words we use aren't just, you
01:33:27.500 know, word games.
01:33:28.220 They're not just for fun.
01:33:29.360 They're actually referring to something outside of ourself, outside of the human body, outside
01:33:35.100 of just our little, you know, minds and the way we happen to want to live our lives.
01:33:39.920 And the reason that this is so difficult for people is that if you're talking about things
01:33:43.600 that are outside of yourself, you're ultimately going to get to the thing that is highest above
01:33:47.900 you, that is most outside of you.
01:33:49.660 That's the supernatural and that's the divine.
01:33:51.820 And we've been sold this bill of goods that, you know, God and theology, this is a kind
01:33:57.180 of backwards, outdated superstition.
01:33:59.680 Nobody believes in that anymore.
01:34:01.660 And the more we do that, the blinder we become to this whole universe that is still exists.
01:34:08.580 It doesn't stop existing just because we say it's not there.
01:34:12.100 We just don't realize what we're doing.
01:34:14.280 And so we become these kind of blind worshipers of, you know, the science or BLM or whatever
01:34:19.760 we want to bend the knee to, and we don't realize that we've just become pagan worshipers
01:34:24.260 by another name.
01:34:25.480 And so to really recover a sense of meaning that won't inflame us, but will set us free,
01:34:30.620 we've got to let the divine back into our lives.
01:34:34.040 So we have just, you know, we see half the country and there's a lot of people like, for
01:34:41.660 instance, I think Elon Musk is one of these.
01:34:43.820 You have a lot of really great people who are probably more classical liberals.
01:34:49.760 Uh, that have, have looked at things and went, okay, wait, there, there's no evidence.
01:34:57.240 In fact, all the evidence goes in the opposite direction.
01:35:00.320 We got to stop this.
01:35:01.380 And they're not changing, you know, they're not suddenly becoming conservatives, but half
01:35:05.980 of the country is just locked in on things that do not make sense.
01:35:12.380 They didn't make sense in theory.
01:35:14.480 And now we're seeing the fruits of it all across the country.
01:35:19.760 What is happening to them?
01:35:22.020 And how do we reconnect?
01:35:23.920 Well, I think that those people that you're describing who are, you know, I would say
01:35:30.280 enthralled to a kind of woke dogma, um, those people are being offered an alternative religion
01:35:36.880 and it doesn't call itself a religion, but it has all the characteristics of a religion.
01:35:41.820 It involves begging for forgiveness.
01:35:43.860 It involves this ultimate kind of quest for apocalyptic utopia where everything is going
01:35:49.240 to come out okay.
01:35:50.240 And the world is going to be cleansed in a divine fire.
01:35:53.060 Um, it has all the hallmarks of religion because people are craving, craving something that gives
01:35:58.760 meaning and direction to their lives.
01:36:01.160 And I think that as conservatives, as people that think this stuff doesn't make any sense,
01:36:05.840 we have to recognize that we're not just going to argue people out of this by, you know,
01:36:11.840 presenting them a budget sheet by saying, oh, the economy is going to go better if you do
01:36:16.340 it this way, rather than that way.
01:36:17.660 What we actually have to say is the thing that you're yearning for, the meaning, the significance,
01:36:24.320 the passion that you are yearning for in this woke madness, the reality of it, the truth
01:36:30.040 of it is in the great tradition, is in the divine truths of scripture, is in the great
01:36:36.640 adventure of philosophy.
01:36:38.760 Um, we've got to present this stuff as the joy that it is.
01:36:42.380 And that's cultural, that's spiritual, that's not just political.
01:36:45.820 So I think that the, you know, the right and even just normal people that can see this
01:36:50.240 stuff is going terribly wrong.
01:36:52.080 Um, we're going to have to offer a countervailing vision, a vision of the great tradition and
01:36:56.300 the great adventure that we're all on of carrying that flame forward, because that's the only
01:37:00.220 thing that can answer the real needs of the human heart.
01:37:03.200 Spencer Clavin, the name of the book is How to Save the West.
01:37:06.800 Spencer, if you don't mind, hang on for 60 seconds.
01:37:09.040 We'll come back with, um, more, uh, with How to Save the West.
01:37:13.420 It's available wherever you buy your books.
01:37:16.000 This half hour is brought to you by Good Ranchers.
01:37:19.840 This summer, it's not only time to get up and fire up that grill.
01:37:23.580 It's, uh, time to make everybody on the block go, what, who is cooking?
01:37:28.160 What?
01:37:28.560 That smells.
01:37:29.520 Yeah.
01:37:30.140 Yeah.
01:37:30.720 I like to do it.
01:37:31.960 If I have a neighbor like Stu, vegan.
01:37:34.200 Oh, I put my grill right at the fence, right at the fence.
01:37:38.620 Mmm.
01:37:39.200 I'm not for him, but for everybody else in the family that he is depriving.
01:37:43.640 I have a grill.
01:37:45.000 I grill all the time.
01:37:45.980 I'm not vegan.
01:37:47.200 There's so many mistakes in this analogy.
01:37:48.900 I can't even, I can't cover them.
01:37:50.580 Who are you going to buy?
01:37:51.160 Who are you going to believe?
01:37:52.120 Him or me?
01:37:53.000 That's a good point.
01:37:53.840 You come here because you know who's telling you the truth.
01:37:56.680 Mm-hmm.
01:37:57.280 Most of the time.
01:37:58.300 Some of, occasionally, occasionally.
01:38:00.060 Anyway, uh, Good Ranchers.
01:38:01.700 Good Ranchers, uh, has American beef from American ranchers.
01:38:06.180 You're going to love this beef.
01:38:08.320 It's so good, so tender.
01:38:10.460 All comes from local farms and ranchers, uh, ranches.
01:38:13.560 Uh, it also, you're doing good by going to Good Ranchers.

01:39:16.760 Spencer, you're the, my favorite kind of intellectual.
01:39:19.720 You don't lord it over anybody's head.
01:39:21.660 And even though there is, there is one sentence in your book that I think has three words that
01:39:27.180 I've never heard of before, uh, I, I still, I get it.
01:39:33.560 You're not talking over people's heads.
01:39:35.980 Uh, you get it.
01:39:37.640 And, uh, I just, I know.
01:39:40.020 Go ahead.
01:39:40.320 I actually did not go to grad school for the purposes of feeling better than everybody
01:39:44.280 else.
01:39:44.640 I think that puts me in a vanishingly small minority.
01:39:47.160 Yeah, it does.
01:39:48.240 Yeah, it does.
01:39:49.500 It does.
01:39:50.140 You're not right.
01:39:51.200 I mean, yeah, you're not spouting knowledge to show everybody how smart you are.
01:39:55.560 You are connecting the dots and telling stories that, you know, most of us haven't learned
01:40:01.780 or we learned a little bit and forgot, uh, and you've thought deeply about them.
01:40:06.120 And we are at a time, I've been saying this forever.
01:40:09.320 We have to define what life is because AI is coming and people will say that's alive.
01:40:18.240 So what do you do?
01:40:21.040 But if it's alive, are you a slave owner by keeping it and we're having it work for you
01:40:27.460 for free?
01:40:28.280 Should it vote if it's alive?
01:40:29.880 I mean, we, we are, we are going to have to re-answer all of the most basic questions.
01:40:37.360 And I think that's what your book gets to.
01:40:40.340 That's absolutely right.
01:40:41.620 Thank you.
01:40:42.100 Yeah.
01:40:42.220 Well, it speaks actually to what you were saying about not lording the, you know, the
01:40:47.680 great books or the canon over people.
01:40:50.460 Um, that's incredibly important to me.
01:40:53.220 That's, you know, really personal for, from my perspective, because these things, these
01:40:56.660 books that sit up on the shelf and we kind of think of them as, you know, big, scary
01:41:00.620 words, Plato's Republic, Aristotle's Nicomachean Ethics, you know, uh, we treat them as if
01:41:05.780 they're beyond us or even maybe they're kind of, you know, outdated or they're, they're
01:41:10.640 not worth reading and we've been told this by our kind of cultural legislators, by the
01:41:15.360 people that said, Hey, Hey, ho, ho, Western Civ has got to go.
01:41:18.940 And for me, growing up in a house filled with these books, one thing I really quickly realized
01:41:23.700 is that these great minds are not there to intimidate us.
01:41:28.280 They're actually our greatest friends in the world.
01:41:31.040 They're there to teach us about what it means to be human and how to be good at being human.
01:41:36.120 And that's not something for eggheads like me to specialize in.
01:41:39.640 And that's something for everybody to care deeply about.
01:41:42.820 We all do.
01:41:43.860 And so when you crack open a book like that, you'll find so much more sanity and common
01:41:47.600 sense than you will from our kind of modern gurus on a lot of this.
01:41:51.780 And what's amazing is you, you find that you are not alone that, I mean, I remember when
01:41:58.860 I first, I had to be 30 when I first started writing, reading Plato, I mean, really reading
01:42:04.380 it to learn something.
01:42:05.600 And I was shocked at how relevant it was.
01:42:10.820 It was like, Oh my gosh, I'm struggling with that now.
01:42:13.220 Oh my gosh, I understand that problem.
01:42:15.880 And we, we, we lose that because our history has been so poorly taught that we, we think
01:42:24.280 these things are just incredibly boring.
01:42:26.380 But the answers are all there because these are eternal truths, or at least the search
01:42:32.220 for an eternal truth.
01:42:34.660 You say, save, save the West.
01:42:38.560 Um, and we are looking at a time where it looks like America could, I mean, just go down at
01:42:46.840 any time.
01:42:48.000 Um, is there, is there anything about, uh, this time that gives you hope that you're seeing
01:42:56.760 that we are different than the past?
01:42:59.700 Uh, or is it kind of inevitable?
01:43:02.740 You know, this is one of those questions that I have wrestled with myself.
01:43:09.380 And I know probably everybody listening to us right now is worried about this very thing.
01:43:14.580 What's going to happen to us.
01:43:15.720 And a lot of the times this gets framed in terms of like, are you an optimist or are you
01:43:19.900 a pessimist, right?
01:43:20.780 Do you think everything's going to go great or everything's going to go poorly?
01:43:24.040 And one thing I've realized is that both optimism and pessimism are kind of mistakes because
01:43:29.920 they're predictions about the future.
01:43:31.640 If you're an optimist, you think everything's going to go well.
01:43:33.880 Maybe you don't work hard to preserve the great tradition.
01:43:37.040 If you're a pessimist, you think it's going to go badly.
01:43:38.800 Why would you do anything?
01:43:40.080 And so my question always is where do you put your hope?
01:43:44.260 Where does your hope lie?
01:43:45.700 Because hope is a virtue.
01:43:47.060 It's, it's actually one of the central Christian virtues.
01:43:50.200 And my hope is in this tradition that I am delivering, which has endured both the rising
01:43:55.860 and the falling of great nations.
01:43:58.100 It doesn't matter.
01:43:58.680 It's a matter of indifference.
01:44:00.260 What, what doesn't mean it's a matter of indifference.
01:44:01.640 What happens in our politics?
01:44:03.480 It just means that the things of the world, which are beyond our control are going to
01:44:10.300 transpire, you know, whether we choose them or not, that's how it works.
01:44:14.080 What's in our control is the preservation of the Western tradition of virtue of the small
01:44:20.180 human sized face to face practice of courage, integrity, reason, prudence.
01:44:27.420 These sorts of things, which people like Plato talk about, they take place at the dinner table.
01:44:31.620 They take place in neighborhoods.
01:44:33.120 They take place in schools.
01:44:34.460 And that's why we're seeing so much energy in these local communities.
01:44:38.840 Even as everything seems to be going terribly wrong on the world stage, the more people invest in their states, in their towns, in their families, in their churches, the more we start to see that actually, you know, the West is not some grand narrative that's outside of our understanding or control.
01:44:56.620 So, I have to thank you.
01:45:00.400 Please tell your father he should have laid claim to you and then tell your mother she did a great job of raising you.
01:45:07.280 It's fantastic.
01:45:09.140 Fantastic.

01:45:28.260 My gosh, it's just so well thought out.
01:45:30.300 Brian lives in Alabama.
01:45:31.440 Over the past few years, he's been suffering from pain so frequent and debilitating that it has limited his mobility.
01:45:38.260 He was barely able to get around the house, let alone out and, you know, doing a normal daily life.
01:45:43.740 He was beginning to despair.
01:45:46.220 He had tried what he thought was everything, and it didn't work or it left him feeling so, you know, non-lucid that he just couldn't take it.
01:45:57.600 Brian heard me talking about relief factor.
01:45:59.640 Decided to try it.
01:46:00.740 What do you have to lose?
01:46:02.140 Turns out what he had to lose was 90% of his pain, he says, in the first three weeks.
01:46:07.140 Brian got his life back, and so could you.
01:46:10.520 The three-week quick start, 1995.
01:46:13.060 It's a trial pack because it's not the same for everybody.
01:46:16.300 Everybody's different.
01:46:17.240 But hundreds of thousands of people have ordered relief factor, and about 70% would go on to order more.
01:46:23.540 They find themselves like me.

01:46:42.240 I want you to hear from CNN the corporate cost of culture wars.
01:47:12.060 They're asking, should businesses back away from this because of what happened to Bud Light and what's currently going on with Target?
01:47:18.900 Listen to the analysis.
01:47:20.840 What advice could you give companies that sort of get swept up in this?
01:47:25.640 Well, the issue is who are you beholden to?
01:47:31.800 Are you beholden to many different stakeholders, but in particular, you're beholden to your investors, and investors are not pulling back from looking at how companies...
01:47:46.480 There's a lot more on this, but let me just, let me stop it there.
01:47:50.020 You're beholden to many stakeholders.
01:47:52.720 Okay?
01:47:53.560 That's ESG talk.
01:47:55.260 And you're really, you have to answer to the shareholders.
01:47:59.060 So who are the shareholders of Target?
01:48:01.940 You ready?
01:48:03.960 Vanguard with 9%.
01:48:06.400 BlackRock, 9%.
01:48:09.340 State Street, 8%.
01:48:12.160 Then another Vanguard fund with 3%.
01:48:16.360 Then Wells Fargo.
01:48:18.020 Then Bank of America.
01:48:19.700 Then another Vanguard 500 index fund.
01:48:22.940 They're only talking about 12 people.
01:48:25.440 You've got maybe 12 people that are really diehard into ESG at the top of these companies, and they're the ones telling these companies, you do this.
01:48:38.060 Good luck with that, Target.
01:48:40.520 Allie Stuckey is with me now from Blaze TV.
01:48:44.260 Hi, Allie.
01:48:45.240 How are you?
01:48:46.980 I know you've been all over this, and it has been shocking.
01:48:52.080 I walked into Target last Friday, and I didn't know if it had been going on.
01:48:57.940 Apparently, it had just gone up, and I looked at my wife, and I said, we are not shopping here.
01:49:03.020 This is way over the line.
01:49:06.500 Right.
01:49:07.200 And apparently, I wasn't alone with that.
01:49:09.480 Yeah, you know, some people started boycotting a long time ago.
01:49:12.280 I started boycotting a year ago, so I was even kind of late to the game in some ways.
01:49:17.000 Some people were boycotting when they were allowing men into women's restrooms, which they were ahead of the game on that.
01:49:22.660 But I started boycotting last year when I saw that they were selling, in the name of Pride Month, these compression tops, which they're selling again this year, for young girls who want to pretend to be boys, to look like boys.
01:49:33.940 And I just thought, there's really no more wicked message than that, that your body is bad, that God made a mistake with you.
01:49:39.960 And we will help you cover up the body that God gave you so that you can pretend to be something else.
01:49:45.740 Like, how self-loathing is that?
01:49:47.560 And then now, as you've already talked about, they have the same thing for boys with the tucking swimsuits and all that.
01:49:52.140 And I just said, you know what?
01:49:53.460 I don't boycott everything.
01:49:55.020 I don't divest from every corporation that doesn't agree with all my values, but I'm already spending too much money at Target.
01:50:00.720 Those Target runs end up, you know, racking the bill with things that you don't really need.
01:50:04.960 And I can't spend that much money on a company that is directly opposing everything that I am fighting for.
01:50:11.660 So I know it sounds difficult, but I stopped shopping there a year ago, and I haven't looked back.
01:50:16.900 I have to tell you, I think if this becomes a Bud Light thing, the entire thing begins to fall apart.
01:50:26.940 Because Bud Light expected a hit and then turn it around.
01:50:31.960 But if people start to look at Target like I now look at Target and go, you are an enemy to my family, then things begin to change.
01:50:42.540 When somebody walks into the kitchen with a Target bag and somebody else says, you shopped at Target?
01:50:48.920 Right.
01:50:49.580 That's when it's over.
01:50:50.980 Yep, absolutely.
01:50:52.080 And they just took it a step too far.
01:50:54.940 Even for the people who are like, okay, I can tolerate the rainbows.
01:50:57.760 That's fine.
01:50:58.400 It's one segment, whatever.
01:51:00.140 But when you're talking about bathing suits meant to cover up male genitalia for pretty young boys, it looks like, depending on the product that you're looking at.
01:51:11.580 I mean, really, if you're associating with that.
01:51:13.960 And I just want to say, because it's really suburban women, suburban moms that are propping up Target.
01:51:18.440 And I would say a lot of Christian women, a lot of women go there specifically for Chip and Joanna's Magnolia line.
01:51:24.760 That's another one people should be writing to Chip and Joanna and saying, are you seeing what's going on?
01:51:32.080 How can you remain silent with a partner that is doing this?
01:51:37.400 I mean, I know they have contracts and it's something you walk away from, but you should at least speak out.
01:51:44.760 Right.
01:51:44.960 And, you know, it's not like they don't speak out about other things because a few years ago, after the whole George Floyd debacle, they did make statements about, you know, the dangers of racism and white supremacy and doing better and doing the work.
01:51:58.060 So they're okay with speaking out about some social justice issues.
01:52:01.340 But guys, you have represented yourself as strong Christians, as defenders of the Christian faith.
01:52:06.940 And family.
01:52:07.760 And family.
01:52:08.420 And so at this point, I do think that their silence is strange.
01:52:12.840 Yeah.
01:52:13.540 So do you think this is something that we've seen the biggest part of?
01:52:19.280 Or do you think this becomes a Bud Light thing?
01:52:21.840 I think that as long as those of us who have a microphone or anyone who has influence, whether it's small or large, continues this, continues to double down.
01:52:29.820 Don't take their little statements.
01:52:31.520 They're moving the segments to other parts of the store as, oh, we won.
01:52:36.080 No, you double down.
01:52:37.100 I'm asking people, at least for the month of June, and I know some people think that they are totally dependent on Target, and that's another conversation for another day.
01:52:44.820 At least for the month of June, women, Christian women, suburban moms, do not shop at Target, at least for the month of June.
01:52:51.960 I think that can make a difference.
01:52:54.420 I will tell you, they will wait it out.
01:52:59.160 But Bud Light is now six weeks into it.
01:53:02.260 Is that right?
01:53:02.720 Six, seven weeks?
01:53:03.500 Yes.
01:53:03.740 Six weeks.
01:53:04.300 And they're down 30% or 29% now.
01:53:07.680 And they're freaking out now.
01:53:09.540 They expect us, because we don't do this, they expect us just to go along.
01:53:16.160 And I think we've hit a turning point in all of this, to where people with Bud Light, they were, it doesn't make sense that we didn't do anything about Nike.
01:53:29.960 And yet, here comes Bud Light, and all of a sudden, there's something that has happened in the minds of Americans.
01:53:37.800 Yeah.
01:53:38.020 And I'm hoping that this is the next shoot-a-fall, because if it happens to Target and Bud Light, the number one beer in America, it happens to those two, it will put all corporations on notice, something's changed, we're not, they're not going to take it.
01:53:57.940 Look, the idea of boys being able to become girls and vice versa, and all of the bodily mutilation that we've seen come from that, whether you consider yourself an independent or whether you're a Christian or not, that's just too far for people.
01:54:11.260 I mean, obviously, as a Christian, I'm for traditional marriage and all of that.
01:54:14.080 But even just for the non-religious, non-conservative person, the idea of a little boy being told to talk is just too far.
01:54:22.560 It's insanity, and I think that's why.
01:54:24.800 I think that's why it's changed to this year.
01:54:27.140 I think that's why there's more vitriol, and because there's a lot of disgust and a lot of depravity that people don't want to be a part of.
01:54:33.560 It's evil, it's evil, and it is so, it is a slap against the face of every woman, every girl, to bind, would anyone go to a place that's like, hey, women, you should bind your feet like they used to in China?
01:54:53.880 Right.
01:54:54.320 No, we know that's horrible.
01:54:57.380 You now want to bind women's breasts?
01:55:00.620 This is so far over the line.
01:55:05.440 And then on top of it, the fact that they are doing business with a designer who is a Satanist and has no problem saying it, and some of his designs are like, what was it, Satan?
01:55:20.560 Satan respects pronouns.
01:55:22.740 Also murderous things of like, time's up for homophobes, or a homophobe headrest, which was actually a picture of a guillotine.
01:55:29.240 Guillotine, yeah.
01:55:29.760 So, I mean, this is a murderous person that the people at Target were like, yes, we want to partner with you.
01:55:36.060 I can't believe how deeply it goes.
01:55:38.360 Because that's not, that's not just a corporate decision to say, hey, let's get into the LGBTQ because of the S in ESG.
01:55:48.640 No, no, no, no.
01:55:49.960 This is a fundamental problem in Target.
01:55:53.740 If your company has now started to bring Satanists in, known Satanists, and you're selling their product that talks about Satan, you've got a deep, deep problem at the core of you.
01:56:11.780 And by ignoring it, it doesn't get better.
01:56:15.740 It will only get worse.
01:56:19.080 Don't.
01:56:20.180 Do not shop at Target.
01:56:22.800 Don't.
01:56:23.760 Tell everybody you know.
01:56:25.180 Don't.
01:56:26.200 I'm telling you, this is a big moment.
01:56:28.480 If we actually take this moment seriously and start drawing lines in the sand and saying, no, you might make all your money on Wall Street, but you will not make it from me.
01:56:44.800 You'll change the world.
01:56:46.440 You'll change the world.
01:56:47.940 Yes and amen.
01:56:48.880 Keep the, keep the fight going.
01:56:50.900 Thank you.
01:56:51.280 You too.
01:56:51.740 You bet.
01:56:52.660 All right.
01:56:53.360 Our sponsor this half hour is Goldline.
01:56:57.780 We are looking at, Stu was saying earlier today on the, on the Ron DeSantis Twitter thing last night that they were talking about the central bank digital currency and, you know, where he stood on this.
01:57:11.740 And they were mocking it.
01:57:12.600 The New York Times.
01:57:14.100 Mocking the idea that they would even discuss something like that.
01:57:17.060 Like it's crazy.
01:57:18.500 I mean, who doesn't, if you have your eyes open just a little bit, by the way, count yourself way ahead of everybody else.
01:57:30.940 I think this audience is more prepared for what is coming down the road than any other audience, maybe in the world, because you've had your eyes open for a long time.
01:57:44.380 Now, when it comes to a digital currency, I'm not saying it's the mark of the beast, but I'm not not saying it either.
01:57:53.360 It'll be the technology that the beast will use.
01:57:56.440 And it will, any change in our currency, you will lose, well, historically, you lose between 40 and 60% of your dollar, just changing currencies out.
01:58:09.060 It could be worse, because we're losing the world's reserve currency.
01:58:12.820 What are you doing to have money in the end?
01:58:17.020 If you have investments that you are saving for your retirement or whatever, would you please consider putting some of that in gold or silver?
01:58:26.540 I'm not asking you to do it.
01:58:28.000 I'm asking you to consider it.
01:58:30.500 Goldline has their historic $5 Indians and Liberty coins.
01:58:34.120 You can ask them why I buy them.
01:58:35.620 These are the ones I buy.
01:58:36.820 They come with 100 free copper Mayflower rounds.
01:58:40.000 Each qualifying tube or box of historic $5 gold coins gets the 100 free copper Mayflowers.

01:58:54.260 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
01:59:10.000 Hello, you sick, twisted freak.
01:59:20.440 Get out my phone.
01:59:22.140 Welcome to the program.
01:59:23.280 I'm glad you're here.
01:59:24.600 I don't mean that to you, Stu.
01:59:26.560 I was looking at you when I said it.
01:59:28.380 I didn't mean it to you.
01:59:29.680 Thank you. I appreciate that.
01:59:30.740 What do you think about that?
01:59:31.540 You mentioned earlier that you went through a monologue on the scientific method and applying it to news gathering
01:59:37.260 and what's the truth and what narrative is going to be true.
01:59:41.000 I think now it is so easy.
01:59:45.000 Now, maybe eight years ago, it wasn't because everything was a hypothesis.
01:59:50.140 Let's reimagine the police.
01:59:52.840 Okay, no, it's not going to work, but it was my word against your word.
01:59:57.160 Now we have the evidence.
01:59:58.740 Now we know.
01:59:59.040 So everything that is happening right now, you can look at the scientific method,
02:00:07.200 which is if you look at every story that you see as a hypothesis,
02:00:14.120 then you gather the facts.
02:00:17.780 You gather the facts and you'll see really quickly.
02:00:22.920 No, that story is not true.
02:00:24.520 And the honest people then change the hypothesis because the scientific method proves that hypothesis wrong.
02:00:34.500 This is the problem with our society.
02:00:36.680 Everybody's doubling down.
02:00:39.240 Crime is through the roof.
02:00:40.960 What are they doing?
02:00:41.840 Doubling down.
02:00:43.260 Why?
02:00:44.200 Based on what evidence?
02:00:46.220 Your hypothesis was we can help people.
02:00:50.560 No, you're getting people killed and robbed and raped.
02:00:53.500 We know that.
02:00:55.820 So you got a new hypothesis.
02:00:58.340 I'm less likely to listen to you this next time.
02:01:01.820 But do you have a new one?
02:01:03.440 Because the old one you're still operating on is wrong.
02:01:07.580 Is wrong.
02:01:08.680 I think looking at the news through that lens is really helpful.
02:01:12.580 Because we often, I think, just kind of go into our own little circles and talk to people.
02:01:19.900 But, like, you don't, I mean, you know, the average person doesn't sit around and, like, analyze every motivation behind every news story.
02:01:27.180 That's not supposed to be their job.
02:01:28.480 But the media is supposed to be there to serve people and to help them understand things.
02:01:32.400 Instead, it winds up being the opposite.
02:01:35.060 They're trying to hide the truth from people.
02:01:37.500 So let's just go with this.
02:01:38.660 This Fox News banner right now.
02:01:40.260 Democrats mock GOP hearing on gas stove ban.
02:01:43.940 The GOP, their hypothesis is you're banning gas stoves.
02:01:47.500 The GOP or the Democrats are saying that's ridiculous.
02:01:51.320 Well, let's see if the GOP hypothesis is correct.
02:01:57.260 What do you have, 14 states that are now banning all new construction of gas stoves?
02:02:02.300 You have the federal government and the EPA trying to pass regulation and get things done because they say it's indoor pollution.
02:02:11.480 What do you think?
02:02:12.720 Yeah.
02:02:12.880 I mean, how is that their hypothesis is right, the GOP, the hypothesis of the Democrats mocking and saying that's ridiculous is clearly wrong.
02:02:25.100 Yeah, it's funny, too, because there's just this, like, trail of these narratives that they often bump into each other.
02:02:31.520 Like, the narrative of this is a conspiracy theory is from two months ago.
02:02:37.140 When this all started, they said it was a conspiracy theory.
02:02:40.680 Of course, we're not going to do that.
02:02:41.820 Well, in the interim, states like New York have come out and banned gas stoves and new construction.
02:02:48.020 Correct.
02:02:48.220 Right.
02:02:48.780 So.
02:02:49.380 California.
02:02:49.920 California.
02:02:50.860 They're either moving or have done it.
02:02:53.300 So now this old narrative, whose time has run out, is still being repeated by the left.
02:02:59.500 Right.
02:02:59.620 And you can tell the hypocrisy very easily because they're doing both of them at the same time.
02:03:02.980 And so this should build on itself.
02:03:05.600 Like you said, they're connected.
02:03:06.680 This should build on itself.
02:03:08.380 Once you see, oh, that hypothesis is wrong.
02:03:12.080 Wait a minute.
02:03:12.720 That hypothesis earlier, also wrong.
02:03:15.560 And then you said the same thing about this one.
02:03:17.960 And that was wrong.
02:03:19.080 Then you tie it together.
02:03:20.100 And you know what source to go to.
02:03:22.340 Yeah.
02:03:22.460 Maybe I shouldn't be trusting this source.
02:03:24.000 Yeah.
02:03:24.200 This source is unreliable.
02:03:26.340 Unreliable.
02:03:26.620 And look, I think they're correct in this, unfortunately.
02:03:30.660 But I think they just assume people won't do that work.
02:03:33.660 And you shouldn't have to do that work.
02:03:35.960 But if you don't, you will get taken by a bunch of people who want to take you.
02:03:39.860 May God forget all of us who are exchanging our convenience for the death of our country.
02:03:50.220 It's time, gang.
02:03:51.340 We're no longer playing a game here.
02:03:53.860 You have to choose what is most important in your life.
02:03:57.540 If freedom for your children is important, and I put that right at the top, that's how
02:04:04.720 I prioritize my time.
02:04:07.220 What you have been doing clearly isn't working.
02:04:10.560 So now my hypothesis is we should get engaged.
