00:26:45.720 The incident supposedly took place in an unmistakable public area, the top of the stairs next to the Capitol Rotunda,

00:27:00.120 Yet, despite the fact that there are at least 1,700 cameras in and around the building and grounds and 41,000 hours of footage,

00:27:12.540 many of which directly covered this well-traveled area,

00:27:16.280 no direct video evidence of the alleged confrontation was ever presented to the jury.

00:27:22.060 That got our investigative reporter, Steve Baker, going,

00:28:06.920 a member of the Speaker Nancy Pelosi's security detail,

00:28:12.180 testified that he passed by U.S. CP officer Harry Dunn engaging with four Oath Keepers

00:28:21.480 three or four times while he was evacuating staffers for Pelosi

00:28:26.980 who were trapped in a locked office in her chambers.

00:28:30.380 Lazarus went on to explain that he observed Dunn arguing with rioters.

00:28:38.180 And during that exchange, he eventually found an opening through the rioters

00:28:42.760 where he was able to rescue 10 or 11 or 12 of Pelosi staffers.

00:28:53.820 Lazarus went into great detail about the problems he had

00:28:57.060 getting through the crowd of rioters gathered at the top of the stairwell

00:29:00.840 where Dunn was having what became a much-publicized interchange with the Oath Keepers.

00:29:13.820 And then, according to the trial transcript, he testified.

00:29:28.240 It was kind of like, they just grabbed it.
